I think he's been hitting shoulders above everyone else and it's funny that he has been hitting shoulders above everyone else. I would be the next, I would come back to him up now, to imagine that, and I would come back down again. Because no one actually can get even on a car foot by a person who just leave you alone, just great. So no, I haven't really given much thought, anything thought except just saw three. I suppose that's important. I think we even dealt with him this Sunday night when the coffee and the band in college had to be cool. But so I'd have a zid, point of razor and have a zid and haul and I haven't been out since the last day. I know right, I picked very good selectors and very good players. Players were able to party, the selectors are unbelievably well able to party. But no, I've just talked to him, I just love that fact of it. No, that quite happened at all, though he's done. And about one and a half thousand texts. Yeah, in a form, people are very enthusiastic about it so I like to read by them. So that's what I'd know, like to kind of leave it to soak in really an enjoy it. That's it, enjoy them enjoying it. I get a kick over to them, I don't get a huge kick. I mean, I make homes, store them all, when it's done, it's done like that's when it's gone, it's just something next thing. But I do get a great kick over to the young players enjoying it. And particularly this year, the mentor is more than myself. And we go back a little bit and we kind of, we've been able to build it on it before, with the miners, and they know it really long time. But all the other selectors and all the back rooms have this a force kind of far into a winning thing. So that was lovely for them, really. It must be really special when the full time whistle blows to have won it in the manner that he did with the comeback. Did you think of half time that you were going to be celebrating the way you were? I forced the games. Our tweet, your last year, that said nothing more than, there's nothing more dangerous than 11-bind lead. So you know, of the rules, I forget, I was funny time. But there's a bit in it, you see just a bit down and, and, and, with laws, like, you know, the, like the game is not just one, two-pinder, you know, and, you know, and go on an opposite, that's a fight-pinding, waiting. So when we didn't have time, there was a bit of a breeze there, you know. We opted to play against the breeze and play with it in the second half, we wanted us, which is Joe's full function. There was this only reason why he was captain, we told him, it was just that he was the best fella to flick a crime. So, yeah, so we said we played with, very disabinded him, how we played in the, how we played in the first half, really, how we are played. But that's the expected one, you know, there's no others in this, you know, terrible, but they're last year, they're even in that pitch last year. You know, so our new twarf is, but they got the grips of it, we, we, we do, and we give them the staff to have time, and we need them to figure it out. This is the whole purpose of it, because they can't hear us from the fields, they have to make the soft-uppets going on. So, I'm a big believer in reflective practice, you know, we're kind of glad it's with feedback on everything. Just to me, like, how they, you know, how they felt to play and how they, what they don't well, what they didn't do so well, what they learned, you know, what they're going to do with the next day. That's kind of stuff. So it helps them when they're making decisions on the pitch, you have to teach them through, kind of retrospectively first, and then you'll be thinking, teach them how to do what they're going to do. But the biggest thing is that they have to teach themselves how to do it in the moment. And so when they go on the pitch, they do it in the moment. So that's, so half time we had a chat about it. Maybe it might have tried to one or two things to know, but only one or two, it's very gentle enough now. Most of the lads kind of figured out themselves, whatever they don't. So we said, look, we got the second half, we could even consider a score or two, but not a goal if you can help it. And just keep the scoreboard taking over, for approximately minutes, it's a long time we didn't know the game now. And so we did know that once we were in sniffing distance at the end, we'd have a very good chance because every game they played their fin show well. Yeah, I wasn't as kind of concerned at half time because there's nothing you can do with a match. You know what I mean? Like my biggest stressors are the week before when you're off the picker team and tell lads that playing and they're up playing. And you know, that stresses me usually because they're so young, you know what I mean? So is that the worst part of your job? Well, that's definitely, for me, it's the worst part of the job. I suppose, yeah, because every young lad, he gets like a 16, 17 years old, he gives you the heart and soul. So they do everything right, they do everything that you kind of, you know, that they ask them to do. And what the big thing is to give more ownership of it, which not a court, is tend not to do. So we tend to give them ownership of everything. And they really remember it and they matured. And so there was no, like, you know, we had 15 players starting, which, you know, four or five solves of two hours, bringing on. And there was no difference to him. And, you know, if it was like the boss we'd be able to finish that group, do you have a group that came in? But it would be just as, you know, it would just as good, you're a good footballer, you know, but you have to pick somebody and then you have to not pick somebody. And as well as when you're an intercounty young lad player, that standard, you've been a very good player in the main four-clare in your club. You're always played on the center, you never play in the wings, you're not playing the corners, you're a central player, you're always picked. So the hardest adjustment for them is to just to just life, you know, that you're a team player, you come in, you do your bit, you might play this week, you might play that way. It's very hard for them to kind of figure that out. But the new game, he's that, like, it's a game of cards, you have to finish with as good as Handichult, even a better hand in which he's adapted. So you've got to bring in your lads. So, yeah, some lads were very disappointed. One of the things that we did there, the county board were very invested in, it was that, and so in the final round we're given every second number 26, 27, 28, 29, we just gave every second number 25. So we had every second that was not in the 24, was that 25? Because it does, because they have, and their parents and their clubs and everybody have given so much to it. So I find out the hardest, I don't sleep a day before and I suddenly don't sleep, you know, and when they do sleep, it's all, don't be dreams about matches. They're coming up to, but that's the stressor. And I think the other stressors then are these kind of things like where you, you know, you finish the games and you have to, to have the press, you have to be able, you're in other countries, what you see. Because you're given a bit of yourself all the time and you're never too sure about your giving, you know what I mean? So like I'm not scripted, I've never been scripted, I think about stuff, but I'm not scripted. So they are the two stressors they find, the games are not stressful at all, not the training sessions, the games they're just beautiful. I mean, they are, when you win a lose, like, it's a beautiful pattern involved, that it, their criticism afterwards, if you lose and stuff, they're about to be out of it. People will, you know, opinions this time next year, we were in the Coltee Carcone board, and the world giving out a football, they wanted a second review, they wanted to do this, so that this year, it's 20s on well, to see the footballers are a very good year, the minus one, and I mean, the board's standing in avation, George, as captain said, if you want to receive the cops, we have a doubt, and on the clap, and the next action for the board was to do the review of the Harlem. So like, that way, criticism and, you know, it's only derated, we have to question things, but it's fickling us like, you know, so what you have to be known and press our fickling, people are fickling, and there's a very good book, they are slow, tinking, fast-tinking, you know, and where they actually, all the bases of it is, you know, people don't think that much actually, they kind of just borrow all the thoughts. Yeah. And out to it, you know what I mean, so we don't think so, someone says, "Oh, the referee robbed him, there's great chance that everyone else will have that script by the time they're half, you don't know what the referee robbed him." Yeah. You know what I mean, not that we'll agree or come back, or, you know, like, you can hear software, it can be legend, and art is kind of soft, it's a lot of shit like, you know what I mean? Like, those who really know, like, the long ads and other work, the courtes, the backroom staff, it takes loads of things to work, the parents, the clubs themselves, the talent based that they have, they are even genetics, What do you think is land to win in the match? I mean, it's not something that you feel as genius, and you can do genius things. I don't believe that, like, but what it is is that you can recognize something and you can give it a little tweak here and there. Maybe, and we made some good switches in today's match, yeah, great. But they're good when you win. - Yeah. - But you can make the same switches and those. So, like, so there's a lot of easy layers you think in there, you know? So we tried to get there and college players to think for themselves. So I didn't even know our question was, we know it was rambling, - No. - But it's just soft and my head, no, but yeah, like, so we're back in the ground. We said the dust settle, the dust settle. The dust settle, you know, straightaway, but it's magic dust really, no. So, you just want to leave that core and mix and go around to the various summer camps. Cops at home, we're doing a 15s ass week, don't like, runs the weekend. So, we're doing a 15 squads for him. And don't like him any. He flew to town, he was in New Southampe, he was actually even dove on the spoke to the team, I know he would do a good job, and he did a great job speaking to him like an ad on it. And that's magic, you know what I mean? And the cops go into different places, the cops in the hospital, a little bit of magic. So, it's not just dust, it's kind of magic dust, it kind of goes everywhere, you know? And that's lovely. And that will wear itself out. Lord's Lads played the weekend. And he was going to play in yesterday, back in the heart, and I saw it should be in, you know, a week, and you just yourself don't end your life again. - What's, obviously this year, you won one star, you won an Ardona, that's a success. But when you look at players that leave your panel, medals and titles of sight, what would success be for you? - Well, success in me is that, you know, they get to max and mold it themselves, right? So, they can think for themselves, that they're under pictures, and you know, they can, they're, they're, they can just figure things out as they go along. They don't have to be told everything. My man is going out here, very far down keys. My mother's going to, you know, this kind of, they can just look up and see what I have to do and go and do it. I, I, that's a four-former success. And, you know, we do ask him at the start of the year. We, you know, they have to be mature than your average, you know? So we ask him to be 19. So that's what we do. And that's our kind of mantra all the way when 19. So we think two years old, but we are. And so, and that's, that's the success. They go home and they're good children, they're not parents. And, you know, they're good, they're committed to the club, which is prerequisite for being involved. You know, over years, there was often that we might have been overly committed to the club, but it's still what I'm going to make, go to your minor. That's not a no. You have to be committed to your club, you have to be committed to your school. And you have to be clear with your school. If you didn't have to be able to school, you know, we have questions and that. And if they continued to be able to school in the next two years, and continue to be able to club, and if they can push up on the 2020s, as far as these are all little wins, but for me, if they can just develop themselves, they don't have to be put in a plan. And this is your plan, you must stick to this plan. But they can actually see what they have to do themselves and go off and do it. That know will be really success here. And look, the bottom line is that you want to turn out like, you know, good citizens, good people. Like you just really do. And last week, I was asked to do one of these things. Now, videos for, for, some modern carcades, she's Daniel Goulins, much better half, better, and Danielis Farty couldn't believe it. And she said, "Would you do something for him?" And I said, "Right, I do that." And I just couldn't get over. Like Danielis Farty, three beautiful kids, you know, don't very well his life, his PhD, you know, you were proud to his little journey for the smart one when he was a minor and when he was on the 20s and when he was with Sigmunds and Freshers for Parliament, you, that's success like. For me, that's all I get a kick out of that. It's not that it's my success. It's dear success and I kind of revel in it. That's, that makes sense. - It absolutely does. Yeah, my wife Ben eventually, after 20, two or three years, said she wanted to grow up, no, get a proper job. Still a question, but. - Same here. - So it's just, but yeah, I'm in an alleged proper job at the moment anyway, but yeah, being involved with all that, being involved with young people is beautiful thing, like, you know, like you're going to a room and, you know, most people don't look for a pile of points to plug in their phones, well, you're going to a room with young people and you're being plugged in like your, your child, you're going to feel the energy also, you know. I think that's, I'm lucky that way. You know, I'm lucky that, you know, I have two young kids that, you know, like one is, well, not kids anymore, it's for one is 19, one is 16 this week. But kind of, you know, they think that that is great as a wild life. Not under that stage of life, but, you know, that you can know that and you know what's ahead of them and you know that, you know, you're up to current events and what's going on in the young people's lives. It is very helpful when you're around the wrong kids. But it's just a giant, really welcoming, right, young people go to matches and they bring your life. And then to see them more people go through the same age as I am, if you know what I mean, 'cause I think I'm only 50 so well after, but you know, like that, just to see and go through that, like, and successfully and negotiate that and do very well in life. It's fantastic out here. Last week, you know, I'm talking a bit, you know, but at the match in Newbridge, we had two vincers, let's head to one who was going to all of the time, held twice at the moment and he got a tough diagnosis and he's working his way towards and he'll do well too and you know, to go ahead just after one. And boarder and boarder played, I coached and my first group of players in the 80s with Vincent's and boarder and play a card minor afterwards. So there was a little, kind of a full circle there, you know what I mean? So yeah, it was lovely, yeah, thank you, but at the match and you came off to the match and you know, there were the people who kind of, you know, everyone is hoagian, slapping in. And but it is easier to be, if you look for like, you know, just to see, you know, just have to make all your contact, you know, that this is you, this is them, this is the circle, you know what I mean, that's beautiful, to be involved in that. - Yeah, I know, if I'd drawn heads to the rules as well, does it give you a lot of a sense of perspective because when we hear from managers a lot of the time we think after games, we hear stats are, we say like, "Oh, I think we did this great in the kick-out or we did this great in the drawbos, but you always seem to veer towards the personalities of the players." - Well, that's not gonna get a kick-out. I mean, I get a kick-out because players were matches, right, the rest is only five or six percent, right? 10 percent, your kick-outs, your strategies, your style of players, all these things, you're not parking, yes, you're not parking, and you need to address them, but it's human beings, so in MTO, like we have a stockboard, people come down the hill, so because you have to come down the hill into the pitches, and we have a scene, or the guy or the girl that's coming down the hill, you're more interested in him or her, no, that's the most important part about her, how will she know where they're coming from, what's their story, and how are they going away? And if they have their shit together, and they'll make great decisions, no matter how good or trained the session you're making, if your shit isn't together, well, you're always trying to train the sessions because they go all the way to the match and they're not able to make decisions. So I do think it's, we need to be focusing more on the young people, we need to focus more on my TSE, I mean, focus on my TSE here, and we gotta be learning from them, as well as them learning for us. I suppose they are not your players, you already are coach, and there's a difference. - Okay. - You know, so you already are far than, they are not there for you. So, and I would think that, like management and coaching and stuff, I guess that is for me, it's what makes common sense, what people would argue, you know, and oftentimes when we lose matches and get to show it, hammered out of us, and different things, you'd love to be, I wish I was more ruthless, or I wish I was more, you know, but then, and I am a cranky, so I say, I am cranking off like this, not to end that, but you've got to be kind of focused on the players really, because the other guys are making decisions. And then, you know, and tells you that, the one at Underline are lasted underline, and that's so sure, I mean, that's very lazy. Speak, I mean, the players decisions, you know, I mean, the load managers, as good as managers, you know, last week, he's team, you know, it just, the wheels came after, you know, just rain really as such, for a large path of the game, you know, a couple of injuries, a couple of nostrisions, a couple of fellas who kind of maybe got a bit brain fog or whatever the whole occasion which happens, you know, is that he lose around the line, and he'll go back and he'll just, he'll clear us a little from it, I'm sure they'll come back a better team and stuff. So it is dealing with personalities, I think most county managers like Abash Chakokana, you know, and you know, he's a oily fox like in Fair understand, but when it's a tunnel, you know, it's watching when it's a tunnel I have to, and he just put his hand on the tool and it's very gingerly, you know what I'm talking about, just acknowledge the ability or the way you know, come on, or whatever, that's that kind of, no one appears, you know, it's a bit more, I mean, he had just kick-offs strategies and there's all these things, but these are the big things like, because you want to get the most out of the player, because you've selected the player, he's good, he's already good, right, you just find it a thing about the tiny bit, but you want to get the most out of it, like, yeah. And over here it's top football and you do have a football game to go to coach, you've got championship, so I won't keep you pretty much longer, but after last weekend, we've got back to car carlers, I think a lot of people were saying exactly what you've been saying that last on the line or if it's in someone's head and is that something that the hurlers maybe didn't get over after last year, which I thought of now. I think any of these things scientific would probably prove that if it happens twice, it's not necessarily a pattern. Do you not mean? Yeah, it's not necessarily a pattern, and there's been a lot of good things happened in between, so just like a pattern would be week after week after week after week. Yeah, they have, you know, they've hit Trollpout, not if under the farm, Trollpout, you know, but if performance quite well in Trollpout can feel tense as well, so Trollpout doesn't be the issue, it loses in the line, you know, like, ultimately, carestakes, responsibilities, carestakes, poor decisions, you know, at times, you know, they lack that bit of energy, whatever happened there, they'll reflect on that. I know, I don't know how then carestakes, but I know a good vast group of them like, you know, and they're solid young, so there's a mean they're solid men and they're going to think about it. I think what happens is that people really wanted so well for them, right? They're like their children, they're disappointed in their children, like it would be good if car supporters and car people could treat them like they're grandchildren, you know, as a grandparent and not a parent, so because you can't disappoint your grandparent, right? But you can disappoint, like, I mean, I know a woman, if Max hasn't done something to be, you know, you're just a violent enemy, there's a kind factor, and I think people project that and to the players and as well, but like I mean, they do give the happens all, I've often seen them train and they've been into you, they've been in the back, you know, they give you a huge effort, do they lack leaders? How much is that against the show and if so great leadership break? Maybe just but you're young, that I'm a very young and you have to develop that consistency in leadership and that consistency under pressure, it will happen. I mean, they have capabilities, and not seen or I mean they're seen on Taganti horrors, there's no downloadable, they're in the top three or four every year, you mean, you know, you can't unlock the bike and you can't unlock the vehicle, you can't, you might freeze up the smart bit, things might go well, there's a kind of accumulation of that of issues that might happen together to one thing, kind of the perfect style, but like if carcolas want to mark a holland in the next two years now, and I wouldn't be surprised, I mean, they have to play us, I mean, there's a few things to tweak and maybe they'll all do that and show being will reflect on, you know, different things, but like we're the people who we look at, and I know a guy is a coach and who we're looking at, well, obviously we're in, we're in Milwaukee underpants, it's my own lucky top, like, you know, you can really go into kind of these to show things like, you know, I would genuinely think that they do an arse that right, and they have good people and values of them, and they have good players, you know, I would hate to have it lazy thinking, you know, I'd like to figure out what I'm going to do, you know, someone to go with them and figure them out and maybe two bit of walking, maybe there is, you know, kind of cognitive learning to be done from it, there's maybe preparations and stuff, you know, I mean, I mean, maybe there is stuff like that, I don't know, you know, I'm not in the camp, but I was a privy last year to watch an enomal session on Drakiquees before the holland final last year, you know, but I've done it in different, but all my children are well trained, no more, the sessions are good, the talks are good, I happen to be just understanding me and all of them, and it would just happen to be understand, I know about Ryan, they sat down, I listened to Hissu Wands, where he was talking, but I said I'd take different, no, so yeah, there's a lot of easy kind of pass from now, from the end, so it's very walking in, it's a lot easier, yeah, and then there are people who get paid to, you know, having an opinion, right, that's the business to have an opinion, they get paid for it, and they still look to them like, so they have to come up with something like, so there tend to, a lot of people just tend to pick whilst the boy vote, and I take that and I like to it, you know what I mean, and again, it's a bit lazy thinking in my view, you know, I wouldn't like the judgeship, then by so harshly, I think they're a good crowd for young players. I was actually here on the side line here with watching the match here, we were just finished training with the miners, and they came in and people saw, I could see me going kind of pinky punk inside, and they can't help but learn and then pension it to the dashboard and stuff, so I was just allowed to put them, but yeah, they've had a good year, I think 10 out of 14 games, one is good, and now the million miles we're very justified to put me or they were on themselves, and when they came with, they were very justified to look at me again, they put loads of feeling in the colour and they're full of power, they got, you know, you know, so a lot of scores, I could be double amount of scores, they got against us, and they have good lively layers, we have loaded a few players, it was very hard and janite hard, or the rest of the cars, we were in division two, we couldn't afford to slip, because you slipped, you'd be down in a talent and cop, so it was doing everything to stay in division two, and so every game was a vitally game, and it was very hard and to blood and let a younger fellas, you know, because you couldn't make one or two changes in any one game, but next year, no, I was, you know, division one saw, like they have almost two years, if you know, of a goal, so I think they get an opportunity to blood player, I hope his design, I presume he is going to be, and they get an opportunity to blood a few more players, to lead some of the propped hands in the country's championship this year, somebody all of the fellas know people are saying maybe they're the toward, I wouldn't think so, I think, like I've seen, you could only judge them by county championship standards, and they're the performances in the county championships in the last few years with their clubs, has been impeccable really, and there will be the goals you go pick up, so I'd be kind and excited about that now, the next couple years, the 20s, a couple of good leads, common control, and if we can bring two or three into that 20s next year, and three or four of year after, four of what year after that, we'd have done a good job too, then so I'd adopt some of these stats, done the 16s of a good trap, and senior them two teams play already, and the 15s of a good trap, so there's a steady supply of footballers there, but I think what's more important is that there's a steady supply of good men involved, which is, you know, not always being the case in carcadilly guys, and they wouldn't have to, not be a good quality, but they wouldn't wait enough to quantity, but they have a lot of good men now in carc, at the moment in the wild, you know. Will you spend the summer scouting, think going down to club matches, or do you take a step back now that the whole quarantine is finished? Yeah, yeah, so for me, like this time last year, I was already of a temperature, so anyone's a minor chance to be able to be back in under house. This year, we're going to do it, you know, because we have to sit down review the year, we have to sit down and see what's best for the company, you know, I mean, it's me staying in the violent minor, I wasn't really moving down to the 15s, I was, you know, I was in ego, I was going to be to be able to undergrasp somewhere like a ghost and just chewing the grass. Be happy out too. I was supposed to be on the server, so it was best. There were good people there, if you stay in a position too long, if you stay for as other people's opportunities, or I spent the last two years kind of myself in Madras and Billy, kind of working with the other mentors and the back-dones staff because they had never done this before, and to bring them up to a very good state, a really good man, we were very lucky. So now we see what they want to do, where they want to go, because I see my job now in my 56-year-old district, and I think my job is just to kind of stay out of people left and right. I don't have that huge bounce on energy to be running team tomorrow and overnight, you know what I'm saying? We'll see. But I go to matches anyway, and I go down to see flickering things at night, and I see my son tomorrow. I said, "Yes, he's in my custody, "we'll have a go and look at that." You see, if I'm at a scene, I match, and they see something, you know, you're tipping with the seniors, there's a 20s match, you're ring up, and they say, "Look, so I feel very good, "I'll solve you very bad, whatever." And yeah, I'd love to say it with the miners, because you go to matches, and you'll see what's coming up next, 16s, or we, and interesting, you know, championship notes tonight, and there's a couple of them next few weeks, so you pop off, they'll not see what they're like, you know? Yeah, that's kind of, but what I'm going to be doing, be quite happy to be on the garrion, which genuinely mean that, like, I'm happy, I'm happy my own skin, I don't really. You mentioned that before, that competitive edge, that a lot of coaches talk about that. My wife is the competitive edge in our holes, and anyone who's had an attitude, I can fight for two phrases in a row, and she'll take it one side, and the referee's arms are going to be it, right? And so she, you know, and she's very competitive, so she goes to the matches and gives them. And I am, it's not that I'm not competitive, but it's just slightly different. I mean, that is driven as there was before for results. I get a greater kick in trying to break down if something is there. He's useless, he never make it or, you know, he's not fast enough or whatever, and you see something in him, and you bring him along, and you know, he goes long to be a good player, and everyone is mad about him, and I get a great kick that I was a tiny bit, just a tiny part of that journey. That's where you get to kick from, yeah. You have a relevant safe, just several other evidence, as opposed to being just trying to win, win, win. And I'm not not going to win, because you have to win, and I am competitive, but there's a time in the place and you've got to know when it is. Do you think these days we can put a bit too much of an emphasis on strict game plans in training and matches and then someone that likes to call me McDonald's shows off, just for example, and he's got a bit of flair and he expresses himself, and everyone thinks he is unbelievable, and he is, but do you think there's actually a lot more players like that out there, but we've just maybe overcortured them. Yeah, I suppose, you know, like, I've seen her on the county fair, just like, Lawn Retiredlock, he moved to recently, he said he's interested in getting the vibe in court, and he said, "Look, would you, could I get a vibe "and what are the scribes or what do you think?" I said, "Have you ever caught women?" He was kind of looking at me, he said, "No, but I said, "No on your way, says no, I would get involved with an impulse." And he was kind of highly indignant, so I said, "Well, "because they just want to do it, "they're asking why, "why are we doing this?" Right? What's the purpose of this? How come we're doing that, you know? They're asking a kind of question, and I thought, "Is you to think so when you're going out "to a trade session, "well, you've got to know why you're doing it, "what's involved, who's the far?" The bigger questions, you know? And I suppose, I would obviously think that in court, self-awareness is a huge thing, and I think if it's a huge thing, for me as a player, as a coach, then it has to be big for the player. And what you want to do is get the best out of him, and he's got to be predictably unpredictable. In my view. He's got to be able to kind of do the simple things fine and keep the basics right, but he's got to be able to kind of do something that if he sees it then, he should be at the door, and he takes responsibility, if he goes right, and he takes responsibility, if he goes wrong. I think if the court's reputation is the most important thing in our own, then the player is not the most important thing in our own, and the whole thing won't go right. Whereas the player's reputation is the most important thing in our own, and what you get out of that, then you'll see, you know, there's a fine line, there's discipline, and there's regret, both on a pain, right? There's the pain of discipline, and the pain of regret, and we used to say that the players all tend to, the pain of regret is a ton of weight, like, but pain of discipline is only a little long. It was just the other day. So you have to have discipline, and they go, "But I'm not so sure we should be struggling." They have to have that kind of, "Well, what you think, have a go off." I just think that, because, you know, I mean, I'd hate to be told, I mean, I don't like being told what to do at the best of times, right? You know, I find it's kind of being curtailed in a box, and I think a lot of people like to security be told what to do, so that they don't have the blame. So, I need to have the responsibility for me. I love the responsibility, and if it goes wrong, well, fucking it went wrong. I mean, oh, let's fix that. And, you know, I hate to be stifled, and to know that you can only play it this way, and just be on it. And I see that now, I don't know, it matches the times, I, you know, carry the ball, don't give it away, don't kick it in, or, you know, kind of stuff, like, you want to, like, just, we want to sport, like, sport is an expression. Yeah. You know, I mean, you tear, and, you know, it's also an ownership, like, you take the decision, you make a ball, which you went for the pint, you know, from too far out of the drop shot that he was sending in, and it's open to back in the other side. You have to take out the responsibility, like, that's, that's how you like, in the same way, you got that two pint and you put it over the barrel, like, in the album, crazy, you can't go, no, I told him the rest. That's my job, that's my idea. You can't do that, like, you just have to leave. That's what sport is. I think, if you're an invalid in sport, it needs to be kind of. You really can't have a big opinion in yourself. Yes, it's both. It's both. Like, I would have said before, I would trade everything in, to play a one-wag at match, a Juno football. Just Juno football. I played in the media football, but even to go out to feed, I played a Juno football for one more match. I trade everything I do in for that, because that's the most beautiful thing you'll ever do with a player's sport, right? You're fully alive. But the next best thing then, is, if you can go out and give back. That's it. And if you can't kind of enjoy that, then I think you should play golf. You should play a kind of other stuff that's competitive that you can restrict yourself and, no. And that's okay to ensure that competitive nature. But I remember, I remember, I remember, I remember when he was 80, three years before he died, when he was a doctor, one day he was a doctor, some of my playing golf, and he said, "Okay, I'm going to take up that, no, they get a one." Juno. That's going to present yet. And that's kind of where, you know, just kind of keep going. And it is about him. And he, I mean, I don't look, I travel to the country with him, and he was jailed about enough, so I knew C.C. And I was in C.I.T. to time, M.T.O. and we go to meetings together, we go to matches together, we go walking together, when he got sick first, we just go walking out. And we go to see every two or three days, we go for a walk, we have a good friend, he seems that way waiting. And, you know, very lucky to have people like him, and that's more like him, but particularly him, and I was very good. That, there was just, there was no bullshit, but they were very humble. So, you know, and when I was taught here, I got in a weird way, because I mean, they knew, I was a man, they, right? And I was like, "Oh, what a real reason." Oh, fuck, nothing. And I got in here, and then people really taught me, and I felt like, and how we interact with his players. And, you know, you meet you, you know, you meet you, you meet, you meet, you meet the girls every each other, and again, they talk about him. And I guess, it is like talking, you know, they idolize them. Yeah, it's incredible. It's incredible. And because he was about 10, it's not because he was a great coach, a size coach in sessions, they were good, they were effective, you know, he got exactly what he wanted to get out, out of it, he was planned, meticulous, I'd see him right, he's sessions, he had little bookie right on all this stuff. But this is a clue, the creation piece is the big thing, like, and his humility, and I would have said that, you know, therefore he longed anything, and I tried a lot on something, I tried a lot on something, I tried a lot on him, you know, and people like him, you know, it is, after a match, the last year, John Fenton came over from Middleton, so Middleton, he played around, kind of back, and he came over, and he introduced himself, he says, "Hi, key, my name is John Fenton." Now, I think the situation, himself, through a fellow that, when I was 13 years of age, I had porous, of him, my boy, right? Do you know? Yeah. Like, we idolise him, we idolise him very much, we idolise these lights, we played for car-calling, your foot-park, right? And then, get him over, and he introduced him, to you, like, I mean, he's, and I don't, and I've seen him down in Middleton, direct in traffic, you know, he's a humble people, like, he had one on all, and he had done it on, and yet he had just grown it, and he had gone on after him, and he was kind of a shame, and he really liked it on.
