GOP Operative Roger Stone Panics Over Midterms, Calls in JD Vance | MAGA Mondays

The host reflects on a chaotic and politically charged week leading up to the midterms, blending personal anecdotes with sharp political observations. A Halloween costume mishap and surreal media coverage—like a failed Alaska undercover sting—highlight the absurdity in right-wing narratives. The political landscape is shifting, with Republican polling showing significant declines, particularly in rural New York, and online figures like Eric Erickson and Gunther Eagleman openly expressing alarm about a "blue wave." Trump’s increasingly erratic public statements, including bizarre rants on flag poles and celebrities, fuel speculation about his mental health or substance use. The host speculates, without medical authority, that steroids may be influencing his behavior, though this remains unproven. Meanwhile, a high-profile scandal involving Alina Haba and a $50 million lobbying scheme is investigated, with Trump criticizing the amount as excessive. The resurgence of election denialists, including figures like Michael Andell and Tina Peters, who claim to have met with Trump or the White House, raises alarms about political destabilization. Additionally, a viral meme culture around Star Wars’ Anakin Skywalker and red-barren pizza illustrates how right-wing communities create symbolic narratives to cope with political anxiety. While the host remains cautious, the overall tone underscores a growing sense of unease and disarray in the political sphere, reflecting both real shifts and exaggerated media narratives.

All right, folks. We're here somehow. I'm alive. I'm still awake. I'm honestly dead. Well, I'm totally dead. I'm feeling it right now. It's mega Mondays. I'm same Stein. That's Will summer. Again, I've done. I told Will this before we went on. I've done zero prep for this show. Absolutely zero prep. This could be one of the worst shows. Well, no, I've got to fix my camera angle. I've done extra prep, you know, as I was saying, this is exactly what you want to hear at 9.59 as producer Matt presses the go live button. Sam, how was your Halloween? You know, it was pretty good. Thanks for asking. I dressed my child up with a friend as the characters in Dumb and Dumber with the blue and the orange tuxedos. You know, the reference. I'm assuming you've seen the movie. I would say 50 50 split in the neighborhood of people who understood the reference, which was a little disappointing. But the people who did get it were like thrilled. They absolutely killed it. And they were just getting all these compliments. Greatest costume of ever is the most of the people might greatest costume. I've seen tonight extra candy. My son was so happy. He's like, oh, thanks dad. You really set me up for success. But everyone else is like, why are you in these weird tuxedos? And they're like, it's dumb and Dumber. And no one really understood my wife and I dressed up too. And we also went with some a dated reference, which is shocking to say now as Wayne and Garth from Wayne's world. And the other parents were very thrilled with it. But the kids had no clue and it made me feel old. How about you? How was your Halloween? Well, good. I bring it up because I just wanted to share a brief anecdote. You know, here in a month, we exist at the the liminal space between reason and madness. Did you go as Elijah Schaefer? No, I did not. I was driving to get my kind of pre-trick or treating pizza. And I drove by a church and a guy was making like a holy water barrier around the church. He was like spraying the water around like to make a wall against demons. And I thought, you know, that's kind of like what you see at the start of the horror movie. You go, ah, nothing to worry about, you know, and then I get eaten later. So it was a striking image for me. Wow. That's intense stuff. Well, I'm glad you made it out alive. I'm glad to be here with you. The reason I haven't been, I didn't do prep because I'm an idiot is that I spent the last 20 minutes in like a very heated text exchange with some friends about Haley Stevens. And that's the stage of my life where I'm on multiple text threads talking about Haley Stevens and her fiance Jason Turkish and whether or not this was principled or stupid. And I've just been wasting my time texting when I should have been working. So if this show is a, oh, you know, absolute failure. That's all on me. Well, I know you're a big Jason Turkish fan. So it's been a tough weekend for you. You know, I did not have Jason Turkish has my main character at the close of the election didn't see that one coming wasn't on the polymarket betting ads. All right, let's dive into it. I'm open up the dock. This, you know, it's funny that we're leading with us. I guess we should because this event is happening today. But, you know, he's been a character in our discussions for a while. The journal on October 30, so four days ago, had this story. Republican anxiety mounts in the five days before the midterm elections. And you know, I was like, oh, I'm going to click on that. That's an interesting article. It seems pretty provocative. What I did not expect was the lead anecdote. Here we go. Pumpkin saw another blaring warning sign they called in JD Vance, a poll released earlier this month showed GOP candidate anti-constantino down by four percentage points in rural New York district that Donald Trump has carried by 21 points just two years ago. The seat long seen as a GOP stronghold looks suddenly underwater. Republican operative Roger Stone raised the alarm with the White House according to people familiar with the matter and suggested the visit by the vice president could solidify the megabase. Perhaps save the seat of a retiring GOP rap, at least defonic the vice president subsequently scheduled to trip there for the final day before the election. JD Vance is about to speak in this district for Anthony freaking constantino for people who don't remember Anthony is the Trump rapper who also runs sticker mule and support millions of his own money to his own campaign and may take the title for the most bizarre and worst Republican on about this cycle. Truly insane stuff in Roger Stone is his guy. Roger Stone is on one of the albums. So Roger's helping out to will why are you not up in New York 21 watching this. You know, that's a great question. Yeah, I mean, I think this is a great anecdote to kick off midtermania. Obviously you guys had the subscribers only live stream last night. I mean, I have full midtermania. I was trying to my wife is ban me from reading polls to her because she doesn't want to get her hopes up. So instead, I was reading it to my kids and then I had to be like, first of all, first of all, here's what a percentage point is, oh, New York Times, Sienna, okay, well, you don't know about percentages. So let me explain percentages. So, so that's where we're at. I mean, the sticker mule. This is a terrible candidate. As you said, you know, people may we all love all around the world. They say Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump Trump. But, you know, this is a guy you could easily get in Congress. If it was a normal year for Republicans, but now, you know, last night we had the New York Times, Seattle, we had the Atlas Intel poll that puts the giant ballot. You're on top of your polling. You know, this is not normally my world, the world's polling, but I'm stuck in. How do the conversations go with your kids? First of all, how old are they? Five and two. Okay. So when you're saying when you're talking about early vote data with them, how do you explain it? Well, I'm reading, you know, whoever the times guy who tweeted out the New York Times, Sienna poll was, and I'm like, okay, so you see the blue emoji? You know, that's Democrats and you see the red one. And then they're going down like Ohio. Okay, I mean, look, they think the United States is like just our city, right? And they go somewhere else. It's another country. So we have a lot to work on. But that shows the enthusiasm, I think that the people are facing. Oh, I just love to watch you be like, well, little will, the margin of error me. Yes. Now look, there have been poll errors in the past. So don't get too excited. But don't worry. They've waited the samples different. Dad, can you just have a snack? No, no, definitely not. The last night, I think we started to see even these Republican accounts that have been, you know, very positive. Oh, yeah, you know, they started to crumble and people are starting to say, who are like the biggest Hopian accounts out there? Oh, my God. Well, you know, the biggest Hopian ones are people like, you know, Gunther Eagleman, you know, they like these guys. I mean, even Eric Erickson, you know, who's always saying, you know, the chickens are coming home to roost. Trumpism has destroyed this party. However, I do think Republicans will keep the Senate, you know, all this stuff. Now I'm seeing much more people saying, Eric had some crazy posts. I'm going to pull it up while you talk. Go ahead. I mean, I think people are starting to say like, oh, doesn't look good, you know, like the early voting is wrapping up this kind of, you know, and look, I mean, I'm certainly not a guy who can wait into the early vote and discern what's going on. But I think the optimism that the Hopian is starting to dissipate. And again, who knows what's going to happen on election day, but I feel like the mood is getting pretty dour. Yeah. Okay, on the Erickson front, he put this was this was the same day as that. Walter Jones story. So it's October 30th at 307 PM. He posts on Twitter. We don't have the graphics is again, I did zero prep, but I'm going to just read from it anyway. He posted on Twitter. A blue wave is coming on Tuesday because Republicans forgot the most basic rule of politics voters will let you fight your culture war as long as you don't break the economy. And this is 307 PM. A blue wave is coming on Tuesday 850 PM. So like six and a half hours later, he writes, as I've written repeatedly in 2020, the GOP freaked out about Texas Kansas Mississippi, Iowa and South Carolina. The GOP candidates were all behind the all one. I think the same thing happens this time. I don't see how those two thoughts coexist. A blue wave is either coming or it's not. But yeah, you know, the other, the other big midterm thing to mention is that, you know, Donald Trump has a big speech this afternoon. At the reflecting pool, at the reflecting pool, you know, famous battleground state DC that is set to highlight his improvements to DC. Now, I've been obsessed with this issue. This idea that he's like gilding the city as, you know, he's plundering the rest of the country. And this idea that that's what the final midterm message is going to be is just so wild to me. He had a big riff yesterday. He had spoke for almost two hours in Iowa and the most like the most glaring awful thing he said was this kind of riff about Ashley hints in the Republican candidate and how she used to be a little heavy, but she lost way now looks good and she did the right way without the GLP ones. And I'm like, and I'm like, oh my god, like the awkward, but then he also had a two minute riff about flag poles like legit. He went on for two minutes about flag poles and how he knows a guy and, you know, flag poles people don't really appreciate it. And he's like some people just put up a beam and they have a flag of texture. That's just that's just called steel. It's like a flag pole has to have this nice ornamental top and the and the strings for the flag have to be actually tucked inside the poles so they don't wrap, you know, go crazy in the wind and it's like this man. What is his mind on flag poles? Well, Sam, you know, you know, this is sort of a last opportunity. I think for me to talk about like John, the John Hughes has asked the situation, you know, as we kind of talk about like weird Trump remarks. You know, I come to think of it, I am going, it's like, this is it. I don't think he's going to continue talking about that. >> Yes, is after the election, right? >> He might. He might. He might move on to the cabinet, you know, hey, who's been hitting the, you know, they have hold the, who's been hitting the booty blaster, you know, that's a machine. The, you know, I think I floated this off-air, but, you know, it is possible that Trump is on some kind of steroids, right? Some kind of gear. And that this is no, you have a flood of this to me. >> Oh, really? Well, I, maybe I mentioned it to Tim. I, I think, but basically, I think it's, with, given his age and given the administration's focus on being on steroids and, like, you know, testosterone replacement, I wouldn't rule it out, right? This is totally speculation on my part. >> Do you think Trump is taking the headset the vice and getting testosterone supplement? >> I, I don't think, I, I'm just floating an idea. I know this issue has baffled our country. >> I, I get that. You're floating it, but like, do you believe that it's possible? >> Well, and, well, let me get to the second part. So, famously, guys on gear, right, who are taking steroids in the gym, they report a sort of hypersexuality and sometimes, changes in sexual orientation. >> Come on. I've not heard this flooded before. >> This, you go on the forum, Sam. >> Is it on the forums? >> So, this is just something that I've been meaning to, to sort of propose that, that maybe there's, maybe this is just create, like if he's on gear, maybe this is just creating, you know, you know, you know, loosening his inhibitions. >> Let's, let's, let's, let's sit with this for a second. >> Why would he get, why would he be on gear? >> I don't know. He's having medical issues. I mean, like, why are any of these guys on steroids, like, you know, well, they're on steroids. I'm guessing because they want to, like, get jacked and, you know, look better and, and they feel social pressure to do so, Trump's 80, like, I don't think he gives a shit. >> Well, you know, I mean, this idea is like very popular in the administration is what I'm, like, we've all been kind of puzzling over this and, and so I feel like this is something. >> Yeah. >> This is something I've been sitting with, and like, as we close the midterms, I thought I would just share. >> Yeah, you know, there, there hasn't been a compelling unifying theory for why he's doing all the ass talk, and this is as good as any I've heard, right? >> Yeah. >> I mean, like, since politically, just that, but just, just to think about this through a little bit. So he, he's on steroids. It's getting him hyper-sexualized and maybe more homoerotic, and he's also losing sort of the political control to just keep it to himself. >> I think that's, that's possible. Just something to flow. >> I'm looking at the comments, folks, if you agree with Will, let me know. He's not a doctor. I just want to be clear. Will is not a doctor. He has no medical degree whatsoever. It's a vastly irresponsible thing to diagnose someone like this, and yet he's doing it. But if you believe in the comments that this is possible, just let us know. He does, he did put up an interesting post, I think it was yesterday or last night. >> I think this was all right. >> Yeah, let's put it up. >> Okay. >> So it's a picture. >> And it's split down the middle and on one side, it's- >> Dude, this is, this is sort of like in line with what you're saying. But you know, I mean, maybe he's on one side, it's Elvis' face on the other, it's Trump's face. So it's like, don't I look like Elvis? I think- >> The answer is no. He does not look like Elvis. >> It's like, well, you have an eye, yes, and you had an eye, you had an eyebrow, what have you? It is so funny that like, this is happening, you know, this was 920. So I think this was after the New York Times, see anything drop that was like Republicans are going to get blown out, and he's just like, yeah, I look like the king. >> Yeah, he has an obsession with Elvis, but this is just a random ass thing to post. 920, November 1st, go into the reflecting pool on November 2nd, we're in a weird spot in our politics. I'm just kind of shaken by your theory, I hadn't really considered it. But- >> I'm an outside-the-box thinker, Sam. And you know, this is something I really have been considering because this comes up. This comes up on the forums, this comes up on Bodybuilder YouTube, and whatever. And so I thought, well, you know, Pete Hegg's at the saying everyone under over 30 has to get tested for testosterone, and obviously RFK is into this stuff, and so, you know, is it so crazy? >> It's not that crazy, come to think of it. All right, a few more things to get through before we got to go to break. So I flag this for you over, I think it was the weekend, Nick's order. >> My God, is for people who don't remember Nick, he was briefly the Jason Turkish of our politics, the main character, the bizarre main character. He was the one who kind of was chiefly responsible for engineering that James Talleriko is actually in Ohio at some mental institute story that completely blew up in his face. And we were kind of talking like, does this actually discredit someone like this finally for good? He does this all the time, there's things I like he talks about, he's like, this is a big deal, and then you apply just the simplest amount of scrutiny to it, and it's clearly not a big deal. Anyways, he put this up. Do we have it? Yeah, let's play the-- >> Yeah, so he was up to his neck, you know, Talleriko stuff. And so now he's trying to get it-- look, the O'Keefe journalist ball is coming up. It's in about 10 days. And so, you know, he's got to make a big splash. Everyone's going to be showing up, putting their best scoops out in the final days of the ball. And so, he flies to Alaska, and he's going to hunt down the Dan Sullivan, who's not the senator, who, you know, the Peltola campaign, scheme to get on the ballot. So he goes to the island where the lesser known Dan Sullivan lives, and he's going to hunt him down. But what happens is, now on one hand, I was thinking about this. The Talleriko thing was great for Nick in a way, because it was fake. And so, no real reporters were competing with him on it. On the other hand, look, do I think he's going to advance the story here beyond the New York Times? Not really. In the Peltola case. And so, what he does is, he goes to the Dan Sullivan guy's house, and he just, like, riffs for time, because he's got absolutely nothing. The guy doesn't appear to be home. And so, this was, like, one of the funniest clips I've seen out of right wing media in a while, because it's just, it's just, like, such a flop. I've not seen this. I mean, the inside's actually kind of cool. I will say-- Is that is true? So, just out of respect for somebody that I probably shouldn't be giving respect to. There's a really cool wooden spiral staircase. I will say, it's a little gay. Why are you gay? It's a little gay, Dan gay, so it's Dan G Sullivan. I'm not going to try the door now, but obviously, I guess the next movement we might hear is, you know, police. Maybe Dan lives in the, uh, the Cuck House over here. He calls the other house the Cuck House. So, so this goes on for, like, six minutes. There's a part where he goes up to the door of the other house, and then his phone alarm goes off, and he's like, oh, I was trying to make my flight earlier. I changed my flight. And folks, if you think me recounting that is boring, he does that bid for, like, three more minutes. He's like, it was an alarm to go get a scoop about Dan Sullivan. I wish he'd wake up and come answer the door, and it goes on and on. And then there was another video where he was, like, getting breakfast in this town, and I guess some reporters from the German newspaper, Durspiegel, were interviewing residents, and they were like, what do you think about the election scheme? And then Nick Sorter was like, I secretly recorded this interview they did. You better not misrepresent it. And in the video, the neighbors are like, we don't care. Like, we love schemes, like, you know, and then he's like, you reporters interrupted my breakfast. It's very, I just feel like he took this flight to Alaska, and it was such, it just didn't happen for him. And so then he's like, well, he's got a spiral staircase in his house. That's kind of sick. Why can't he touch the door knob? Well, I guess the idea was that he was going to try the door. So in retrospect, I see his point about not trying to like enter the house, you know. >> Because he, yeah, that could have been, you know, illegal, I guess. The spiral staircase is a notable feature, I suppose, I don't know what it tells us. Why is the other house a cut house? I don't know. That was killing me. I mean, you know, because, you know, we've talked before about how these guys, they think the chair in the hotel room is the cut chair. >> The cut chair, so he thinks the other Janssen, it's off the other side of the main house. So funny, these guys are insane. >> And I'm sorry, but I couldn't understand what he said about him being gay. >> Well, yeah. I mean, it's just like this kind of like loop that he's just like, how do I feel air? And he's like, well, I'm a right-wing media guy. And he's like, gay guy. You know, I mean, it's just so funny, like he wouldn't spot, just so I understand. The wooden spiral staircase is gay. >> He says, it's pretty cool, and then he corrects himself, bit gay though. Why is it gay? >> You know, these guys are in an emotional prison of masculinity. I can't have a spiral staircase, let's do gay. It's truly an incredible video, and I should say he really hyped this up. You know, he was like, I'm hearing Dan Sullivan's town, I'm going to get to the bottom of this. Oh, and he kept saying, I'm undercover. And you know what, there's another one, I forgot to share. Because he's claiming that the FBI, which is believable, is like casing this town. Because obviously there's this big justice department investigation. And he said, I've been trying to interview some of the locals, and they think I'm in the FBI, which like, I don't know, they kind of sent the weirdest FBI agent. So instead, he dresses up in a Halloween costume, like a skeleton, and he's walking around. And it's just one of these, like, the bit is so bad where he's walking around. He's like, I'm going to go interview some gods. >> I mean, what happened, obviously, he flew, God knows how long that flight is. He invested so much on his own, jet prices now, it cost a lot. He flew, and you don't just fly to the house. I don't know how aware this guy lives, but it's probably a pain in the ass to get to wherever that was. And I don't know what Nick was expecting, but what a turd. And then he had to figure out a way to make content out of it. I noticed the hype tweet and he was, I forget what I said, what did he say in the hype tweet? He was like, big things coming out. >> I was covered, just the craziest stuff. He has a clubhouse. >> He said, sorry for the lack of posts over the past 48 hours, but you'll soon understand why I've been too preoccupied to post over these 48 hours. Stay tuned, we got a country to save. You didn't save it. You found a gay spiral staircase, I guess. >> Yeah, Nick, your presence will no longer be required at the journalist's ball. >> Do you think this wins in the O'Keefe award or no? >> It puts him over the top, sorry Nick, and Nick Shirley. >> Yeah, Nick, you did good, buddy, but we just can't ignore Nick's work in Ohio. In Alaska, change the course of two center races. >> Just like the mind that could come up with the idea of a cuck house is just like the psychosexual stuff just like the coursing through is made. >> Exactly. And he's just like the gay staircase, and then he just looks over there, he's like, yeah, they're cucking. There's some cuck's over and that is, man, I don't know about these people well. The other story that is, again, a call back to something we've talked about, morally in a Haba drama. >> Yes. >> You want to pick this up? This is such an underappreciated gem of a story. >> Yeah, so Alina Haba, famously this all started when she claimed she married this much younger Turkish billionaire. >> Not just in Turkish. >> Not Turkish? Yes, there's a lot of wealthy guys getting married named Turkish or what being Turkish. So this is Terhan Mildon. >> You're very good at the pronunciation. I've meant to compliment you the last time we talked about this. >> To be honest, Sam, I'm just putting like a spin on it. >> You're saying just confidence. >> Yes, exactly. Exactly. I think that the Turkish villister, oh no. So Terhan is ostensibly 29, we'll get to that. But basically she claimed that Rick Grinnell had essentially tricked her wealthy husband into making this $5 million donation to the Kennedy Center and made off with the money. So this has now become like the big scandal in the White House. Ronald Trump is like a forensic accountant, he's going over the books. And it seems as though there's a little bit of a backlash or it's back fired. So on one hand, the Times had this story a few days ago going into Terhan's background more. There's this idea that he's really 25 and this has been floated before, but they got really much more into it. So they said his US visa, which he obtained, because he has these Congolese connections too. So that's like a Warren Zeevon character, which he obtained in 2023 and Kinshasha. List his date. So a point being they have all these records that say he's actually trying to-- >> I have trouble reading this. >> Do you want me to read it? >> List his date of birth as December 2nd, 2000, as does a photo of his Turkish passport that was shown to the Times. British corporate records also list his birthday as December 2000. >> So he's about to turn 26? >> Yes, rather than the 29 he has claimed. And it's unclear if he's been married twice or three times. >> Yeah, there was this idea, because he had these business interests in Venezuela, and he got, according to the Times, a sort of non-binding religious ceremony with a Turk, or excuse me, a Venezuelan general or Admiral's daughter. So there's a lot going around here, and it sort of seems like he hasn't made the transition to the Delci Rodriguez regime. It seems like he had something going on with Maduro, and now his business interests in Venezuela are up in the air. So a guy like this, you're always spinning the plates, right? Like you're trying to keep the schemes going long enough for one of them to become real. And it seems like he was building a drone base in eastern Congo that seems like it's having all this trouble. So Alina Haba, I don't know if this guy is the billionaire you were promised. >> So I just want to pause for a second here. Terhan is likely 26, okay? He said three wives, maybe two, but probably three. He's involved in multiple schemes, involving tens of millions of dollars. What were you doing at 26? >> 26. I had two roommates, I was living it working for a local alt weekly. >> That was about it. >> Yeah, you're probably in some English basement. >> Yes, no really. >> I had the smallest room in the house, eating some jumbo slice after I longed that out. >> You weren't married three times, you didn't have millions of dollars, you weren't working the oil fields of Venezuela, this guy is moving fast. >> It's a good start. I think the key is to keep things rolling here. And so the other aspect, obviously, is that as part of this feud, we don't know how this came out, but this idea that Alina Haba had this $50 million lobbying for a part and deal with the Venezuelan businessman, then over the weekend, Trump weighed in on it and he wasn't happy. >> Yeah, let's play that and then I want to get back to our boy. >> If you make up Alina Haba's $50 million, it was terrible, I told her, I said, I don't want her paid. We had somebody speak to the people, that didn't, and she really, she didn't do that. And it was far too much. It was one thing for a person to get paid legal fees, or whatever, she's a lawyer. I go to it was totally obnoxious and outrageous, and it's not acceptable, not acceptable. Can we keep that up, keep the screen up, I want the shot of the screen up if we can do it. Okay, just the whole setting of serials, obviously Mar-a-Lago, it's the Halloween party. But I can't get over the guy in Safari Garb, his camera, as if he's like, taking photos of the cheetah. >> He's photographing a wild elephant. >> So we've got a guy in Safari Garb, we have a man and a woman dressed as two cans. There's a couple guys in kind of top hat, Allison Wonderland type outfits. There's a woman dressed as a cheetah, imagine Alina Haba, and it's the president is disowning you at the Mar-a-Lago Halloween ball. >> I just can't get over the Safari guy, who's just very steady. He's clearly practiced lines about to kill the elephant, don't make a sound. So Haba's in trouble, this is classic mob hospitality, Trump didn't get his beak wet. He wants money for his library or whatever, the ballroom, and he doesn't like that someone got 50 mil to get a pardon and give to Haba. He hates when someone has a truly sick scheme. You can kind of do little schemes off to the side, but I mean, $50 million is way too much. >> That's true. >> Yeah, that's a good point. What do you think the threshold is? If you made, I think if you made $750,000 to get help with the pardon, Trump wouldn't give a shit. He'd be like, all right, whatever. >> I think that's right. But once it gets to like a mill, I think that that number probably sets off like an alarm and say, that's a mill, you know, that shouldn't be going to meet. So if I were advising these people, I'd set the rate at $999,999, you just got to keep it under a mill and you don't tip off the boss. It's one of these things where it's like, wait, you knew there was $50 million available for a pardon and you didn't pass it on up to me, you could get your beak wet, of course. >> Who's the border guy who took the $50,000 in the Kava bag? >> Oh, come on, dumb over. >> Yeah. That was a big scandal back in the time home, I got $50,000 in a Kava bag, Trump didn't give a shit. $50,000 doesn't matter Trump. That's nothing. But when you're talking 50 mill, now we're talking real money. >> Well, that's money he would actually care about, yeah. >> Yeah, so again, just my advice to the people out there who are doing this stuff on the side, you know, you're being corrupt and what you're doing is probably legal or deeply an ethical at least, but you got to show a little restraint, you could get a lot farther. What I would do is instead of getting one really wealthy corrupt person to get a pardon for, find like, you know, several dozen and then charge them a little less. You can win them over because you're discounting everyone, you know, you're undercutting them with the price and then simultaneously you don't get Trump's ire and you don't have to get him a kickback. >> I think it's a good idea, you know, Alina Haba, you know, it's also, he may just be kind of like, I'm sick of hearing about you, Alina Haba, Mildone, you know, you already, I spent the weekend, you know, going over it. >> You're running around with, I don't like this guy, he's only 25, what's going on here? I'm fascinated by the story, I can't get enough of it, I want to read more. This guy has done more in 25 years of his life than basically any 25-year-old I've ever met. I'm simultaneously shocked and pressed and a little bit frightened that he's involved in so much unethical and corrupt activity at the age of 25. I don't see how it's sustainable, but, you know, he's flying close to the sun, we'll see. >> Yeah, he's the man. >> He's the man. He's no next-order, but he's close. All right, we got to take a quick commercial break and when we come back, we have a lot more, including the gang is getting back together, top election deniers that really fuck shit up in 2020, gotten trumps here, they are back. You're not going to want to miss this. But first, word for my advertisers. - So falls my favorite time of year, the temperatures get cooler, the leaves change colors, got football back, Halloween, all that candy Thanksgiving, all that turkey Christmas, not quite fall, but you're creeping up there, you gotta do a lot of shopping. And then you get into the new year and it all comes really, really quickly. So there's so much to look forward to. And the last thing that I want to do is spend a week stuck in bed when I could be out picking apples, you know, got to make those apple pies, hanging out in the pumpkin patch, got to take those Instagram photos, or just, you know, taking in the autumn air. I don't want to miss any of it, which means my health has to come first. But when life gets busy, it's hard to stay on top of everything. That's why I use ZocDoc, who is sponsoring this episode. That's z-o-c-d-o-c.com/BullwareTakes. (upbeat music) Reminds me, I gotta make my up the pie. Gotta get ready. Forgot to do that. Definitely have been getting into the fall field, though, man. It feels nice and crisp out there today. Let's walk around with a little coffee, Eddie. Felt good. Felt real good. Are you a fall guy? You know, I like living seasonally, for sure, right? You know, I'm not sure. What does that even mean? Yes, okay. (laughing) I'm one of those guys who, you know, is the sun moves closer for the Earth? I'm sorry. It's like, you know, I, you know, as the, you know, we get food from a farm, you know? And so it's like the, the, you know, the recipes change, you know, I appreciate the changes. You get food from a farm? Yeah, like a farm box. Oh. I mean, I know ultimately all people get food from a farm. Yeah, well, I need sure, sure. But you get a direct from farm. Yeah. And so, you know, it's kind of like, we'll be in a certain season. Oh, it's cabbage season or whatever. One like that season. That's good of you, man. I'm impressed. The things I learn about you through just these conversations. My, my steam for you just rises every. Oh, thank you. Well, things we would never discuss otherwise. I wouldn't come in and say, hey, it's cabbage season. (laughing) Sam, my farm box came today and boy, the red cabbage is on point. I really love in that. Just ate it raw. Okay, this one got no attention on the internet. And I'm shocked because I think this might be the most alarming thing that happened that no one's talking about. But two people have weighed in and showed up apparently. Or no, sorry, one person. Yeah. Michael Andell, who is budget crazy and tried to run for governor of Minnesota and lost spectacularly in the primary. Not sure where he's getting his money from still 'cause I can't imagine there's that many pillow buyers left out there in Magavars. I guess, let's pause for a second. How often do you need to buy a new pillow? Not a throw pillow 'cause my wife would buy a throw pillow every two weeks if she had the option. I'm talking about a pillow. Well, you know, that's why he's diversified, right? Like he has the Giza cotton sheets. He has, I think, socks. He has all kinds of stuff. What do you mean, I think it's a fair point? Yeah, like how often do you buy new sheets? I mean, these are durable goods. You would hope if they're not then I'm not gonna buy it again from your start. Anyway, my point is there's just not enough Magavar customers out there to buy from my pillow. But apparently he's got some funds. Anyways, he is spotted on October 30th. Again, October 30th, what a big day. Spotted heading into the White House press entrance, Mike Lendell, declined to say who he's meeting with. I don't care, I don't need to know who he's meeting with. The fact that he got into the White House should alarm people. Yeah, I mean, like this close to the midterms, I mean, this is like the guy, I don't know if he's meeting with Trump or he's meeting with someone in the administration. This is who you call in if you want to pursue like a totally wacky voter scheme to like seize the election. I think it's worth just, maybe you don't have enough to top your head, but I think it's worth maybe going back to sort of talk about what he was doing in 2020. Do you remember, can you talk a little bit about that? Yeah, so Mike Lendell was really like one of the most vocal proponents of the idea that the election was stolen. He got his hands on an election machine and he had this whole thing called the cyber symposium where they were going to prove, they were going to get into the guts of the machine and prove that you could steal the election. I mean, this is a guy who is, it's been a while now and so we don't hear about a lot of these characters as much, but I mean, this is a guy who is a total 2020, like a guy who is essentially, we should declare martial law, we should seize the voting machines. And so the idea that he's visiting the White House three, four days before the election, I think it's pretty concerning. Producer Matt Flags also, that he's not the only one who is meeting with Trump who had a role to play in the 2020 election, if it's so overturned, it's not the certification of 2020 elections. Von Hillyard at MSNOW has this dispatched Tina Peters. Yeah. Election denial and former Colorado election, official president over breach of our country's counties voting system, said she met with President Donald Trump in October and asserted that he has the power to send federal law enforcement to investigate the way votes are counted. This is her quote. He already has the authority to do all this. He doesn't have to go to Congress and ask. Peter said an exclusive interview with MSNOW. If there's something that is criminal nature, he has every right to have the administration, the Attorney General's Office, or law enforcement going to investigate. So first, before we get into this, I just wanna congratulate Jared Polis, Governor Colorado, who commuted her sentence, got her out of jail and said, I hope she's reformed. I hope she understands the area of her ways. You messed up. She does not understand. She's out here doing it again. She was talking with Alex Jones, appearing in all these conferences, the wacko stuff that she was pushing. She's doing it. I hope it was worth it. Maybe you got a few more million in projects for Colorado. Was it worth it, buddy? Let's hope nothing happens in 2026. But yeah. - You know, the other thing I would add is that Juan O Saven, who is a QAnon leader, who is, thought to be a JFK junior impersonator or JFK junior come back to life. He is another one of these kind of real schemers, like sees the machines, all this stuff. He claims he's been very looped in with Tina Peters in all this discussion. So it seems like it really is the gang getting back together. All of these 2020 characters, and is the White House gonna take them seriously? Are they gonna try something? But I mean, who's to stop them from taking them seriously? - I mean, that's the thing. It's like back in 2020, there were some reasonable people sitting in the administration being like, ah, let's not listen to Sidney Powell. This is crazy. You still managed to get in there and do her thing, but they're like, nah, we're not gonna do this. Like, Kashputtel's not gonna stop them. Like, who at the DOJ is gonna stop them? - Well, and to your point, I mean, these people are literally in the White House. So like, I should've be saying, I hope these wackos, you know, don't have the presence of them. - They're there. - Yeah, this is here. - Where is Sidney Powell? - That's a great question. We miss her. She was a great character. - Is she just not around anymore? She's like, the game, you know, she's just like, I'm done with the game. - Has to be by. - You know, when I read about Michael, like, she's like the LeBron of this. You know, she's old and aged, but, you know, we got Tina Peters, you got Michael and Del, you got some others. - All these young guys, like Michael and Del - Should I join this squad? You know, I'm getting up there and aged, but I got a few, you know, I got a few moves less with a backup jumper. I can still hit crash the boards. Like, maybe they could use me. - Yeah, it'll be interesting to see the, I don't really don't hear about her very much at all. - Yeah. - Well, someone else who was involved in that was Patrick Bern. - Yes, over stock.com. - Yeah. - He had that weird thing with that Russian asset. Do you remember that? - Maria Boutina. - Yeah. Well, he was having a affair with her, right? - Well, I don't know if he was mayor. It was some kind of relationship. And I mean, he's a guy, that's one of these guys, who like pumps out so much stuff about his life and his like kind of crazy antics. And I think a lot of it is real. I mean, he's constantly, I think he was in Dubai for a while, is supposedly like avoiding service for one of these election related lawsuits. So yeah, I mean, he's back in the mix. He was tweeting, you know, oh, there's maybe firing at the White House soon. - But up to three. - You know, which is, yes, rumors of an important firing within the White House tonight, which obviously didn't happen. So long overdue, he should also put to bed the idea that what's going on is all been Trump's plan. - What a cryptic tweet. - Yes, it is sort of like, it's for boating. It seems like he has some information, but he doesn't really reveal much of anything. - Yeah, and not as far as we know, no firing happened at the White House. So, unless we miss something. That all statue was also in October 30th. What a day, October 30th was. Just so much was happening on that day. We're gonna look back and be like, wow. I remember that day. Okay, well, I'm a little nervous. I gotta be honest, I'm a little nervous about what's happening here. But maybe I shouldn't be because so much worse could be happening. Apparently, we're about to nuke Iran according to Tucker. - Yes, Tucker Carlson has a tweet that says, you do not have to read all this. - Okay, but basically he says, he says Netanyahu is pressuring Trump to. launching nuclear strike on an Iranian mountain where they're supposedly enriching uranium and that, you know, this is, you know, everyone, no one wants to do the nuke and, you know, Trump is trying to get them to, you know, maybe do the nuke. This is insane to tweet this. I mean, it really is like screaming fire in a crowded theater. We're going to start a nuclear war after the election. Jesus. Now, I will say Trump has two things here to consider. One is Trump has very much been open to, and in fact, like, you know, talked about how we're going to start things after the election with Iran. Like, you know, we're it's going to, or we might make a deal, but he's not ruled out that we're going to escalate after the election with Iran. And, you know, you can make sense of it, right? Like for starters, Trump's jacked up on steroids, according to Will, and his impulses are out of control. Well, I thought you would laugh at that. No, I know I'm sagely nodding. That's another side effect of being on gear is you want to launch nuclear war. All right. Well, taking it back. Trump wants, you might want to just change the narrative, right? Like, if they suffer a really bad night on Tuesday, you might be like, you know what? You're going to bomb Iran now. So that's one thing to consider. The other thing is, and I don't, I'm not being facetious when I say this. This is true. Like, I've Trump. He is like, on the record, very much a child of like the nuclear air, and he's like, nuclear war. Don't want to ever do that. Never would do it. Don't want to do it. Not going to do it. I mean, I'm not going to say he's the most consistent dude ever, and he breaks promises all the time. So we'll keep it a, you know, but like that is something he has said, regardless, Tucker just kind of riffing in that thing we put up. I was just the beginning of it. Apparently there's six more paragraphs on that tweet throwing that up on Twitter is wild. Yeah, I mean, hey guys, there's going to be a nuclear war next week. It is pretty crazy. I mean, Tucker obviously has connections to JD Vance, you know, probably other people in the administration as well. So it's not like he's, you know, I don't know. He's gotten a little crazy though. A lot of crazy. So it's hard to know how serious this is. And you know, we've had a lot of slack internal slack conversation about this and people with much more gravitas, I'm talking about Mark hurtling and Ben Parker likely are going to do a separate video on this and how seriously you should take it. So be on look up for that Alex Jones weighed in on this. Let's listen to Alex Jones. We are being slept walked into nuclear war. That's the term I've been using the last 250 days since the disasters I ran were started. That's now the turn of the Tucker Carlson's using as what most of the top military analysts are using that's that's what's happening. He posted a letter last night, a warning to the world that I can confirm is 100% accurate that President Trump has gone to the Pentagon and had them prepare to draw up plans to hit not just pickaxe mountain, but other Iranian nuclear sites with quote tactical nuclear weapons. Wow. Where are we in this world where Alex Jones from his car, shaping Alex Jones can confirm there's gonna be a nuclear war. This is why sometimes there's a big scoop on Twitter, you know, just in the media, or someone will have a big scoop. And then some other reporter will say, I can confirm this is true. And you wonder, like, where are you really confirming it? Are you just trying to get a little piece of the action? You know, oh, yeah, my source to say that too. Also, it's just like Alex Jones, I got that I got this confirmed. Let me pull over. Yeah. It's an emergency. I can't even, you know, take off my seatbelt. Can't take off the seatbelt. Folks. It's war. All right. That's kind of like my RFK voice, too. Little too similar. Uh, two more things than we got to go. Laura Lumer, Jack Busobiak. What do we got? Yes. Okay. No prep. So here's the deal. So Laura Lumer has been in a big feud. On one hand, Laura Lumer, on the other hand, Jack Busobiak, right wing character, uh, and John Solomon, who because he owns human events where Jack works is, is, uh, Jack's boss. And I, as far as I know, John's still in the administration, still in the white out weird. So, so basically, and this has happened before, but so there are these fairer filings where if you're a foreign agent, you have to say who in the media and other people you talk to. And so this guy who works for Qatar had filed a statement saying, I sent a text message to Jack Busobiak. Now, Laura did this once before with Tucker, where she misinterpreted this, perhaps deliberately, and says, wow, this proves Tucker, or in this case, Jack Busobiak is a foreign agent. So it says, uh, you know, media of Qatar and then says September, contact human events, text message, you know, I think it was to schedule an interview. And so Laura says, the conservative news outlet, human events, which is affiliated with Jack Busobiak, is listed in a new fairer filing for Qatar. Wow, I guess that explains why human events and Jack Busobiak are incredibly hostile toward Israel and someone even say gripper adjacent. So basically, she's implying that human events is controlled by Qatar. But really, this just means that, you know, if someone sent me it, I mean, I'll tell you what, the people who sent me text messages that I deal with, you know, am I an agent of all of them? No way. So are you filing Ferris? Well, yeah, should they be filing Ferris saying, you know, Will Summers is working for big gripper or whatever. So again, she's doing this because it looks, you know, it looks sleazy to be listed. Oh, it looks like there's some kind of puppet streams being pulled. But this angered a lot of people on the right who are, you know, she likes staring shit. Yeah. And she's an expert at it. And we appreciate that about her. But, but this obviously enraged John Solomon, you know, because she's saying, you know, his outlet is Qatar. So yeah, he said, Laura, this is a reckless series of posts worthy of Joe McCarthy. As our lawyers will soon make clear to you. And then he kind of goes on and on. You know, ultimately, John Solomon, I hate to say it. He's right. Of course, Laura, this is a, this is a dirty, you know, a blow the belt hit. But you know, again, ultimately, this is about the classic divide and the right over Israel. This is why loomers never going to get press secretary. She can't help it. Yeah. And then this is why a lot, this is why I like about her. She's gone through a bunches. She may be paid to throw the punch, but, you know, she's going to throw a punches. And if it hits people on her side or in the White House or in the administration, whatever, she's just going to throw it. She's crazy. But, you know, effective. Does that make sense? Yeah. I mean, you know, a lot of people on the right bought into this. They were, you know, the, Oh, Jack Basobick's going to be in so much trouble. How can turning point USA work with him? All this stuff. But I do think it's fizzled out that weekend. I mean, they have bigger things on their plate coming Tuesday. Do they, though, I feel like there's so many side conversations. It is weird to see like all these random mass conversations and debates happening. It's like, there's an election coming up, folks. And to that point, should we do it? The whole Star Wars and Red Bear. Yeah. Yeah. I was holding back because I thought this was the great, I thought this topic was the perfect one to close on because it's so. Well, before we close, before we close, can we do Scientologists, Charlie Kirk? We have to. You can do it. This is an interesting one. So, Charlie Kirk over the weekend, there's the Scientologist who's very tight. This UK Scientologist named John Mappin, who's very enmeshed with Candace World. He's very rich guy. He was sheltering Milo after he got deported. He was sheltering Milo in his castle. And so, there's a lot of weird Scientologists going on. Candace is always attacking psychologists and psychiatrists, famously Scientologists, hate psychologists, because they were arch enemies of Elrond Hubbard. And in this case, Charlie was tight with this guy, though. This John Mappin. And so, over the weekend, John Mappin said, like, one thing I miss about my friend, Charlie Kirk is how much he loves Scientology. And so, he put up this text message exchange where he claims this from Charlie Kirk. And he says, John Elrond Hubbard's impressive philosophy is brilliant. It is working wonders. I just missed another impressive kind five, seven days ago. My life is infinitely easier. Amazing. So, you know, we can take that down. Basically, he's saying, you know, Charlie Kirk used Scientology methods in his own life. What do we make of this? I mean, how do you even know if that text is real? Well, a lot of people are saying it's fake. It's a classic Scientologist trick. It's also a classic, like, trick that every conservative is done since Charlie Kirk's death, which is, oh, yeah. These texts that he sent me right before he died confirm my priors. And Candace was saying he was secretly Catholic, all this stuff. Nevertheless, I found it interesting. It's certainly-- Are you compelled? Do you find it, do you think it's true? I mean, assuming the text message is real, I, I mean, I don't think Charlie Kirk was a Scientologist. I do think that he had this kind of, he seemed to practice this sort of syncretic religion of his own devising where he, like, you know, he was very into Shabbat, right? He wrote a whole book about keeping the Jewish Sabbath. He was very in my favorite part, was my favorite part of Charlie? Where he would walk you on. No, the text, he texted me actually, saying that the Jews were incredible people. Well, I mean, famously, he would walk you on Friday night and say Shabbat Shabbat Shalom money. You know, I mean, that's real. Okay. Well, yeah. So I think like a lot of this stuff has been kind of dissected after, after he died. And it's just interesting to see the Scientologist kind of trying to get a piece of the action as well. Yeah. All right. Let's do the big, the big finale. Yes. Because this one's hilarious. You take it. So look, Republicans are facing disaster on Tuesday. They are-- I do think there's a real thing. You know, we talked about Malfoy before. You feel email, Drake on Malfoy, there's this kind of like thing going on in the online right where they're burrowing into these like elementary, middle school, cultural touch points where they're like, we're just going to focus on this stuff right now, don't worry. >> It's all sci-fi fantasy. It's all weird sci-fi fantasy stuff that they want to make real. >> Yeah, I mean, don't focus on the Kansas Senate race or whatever. And so just really over the past few days, they've gotten really into identifying with Anakin Skywalker from the Star Wars prequels and saying, oh, he's a good guy. This is us, we're Sith Lord. And also I should say, they got really into the story of this guy who was restocking frozen red-barred pizzas. Did you see those? >> I did, yes. >> And this is a real guy. He was restocking these pizzas and then this kind of like prankster YouTube guy started hassling this middle-aged man and he kind of flipped out, I think understandably. And so they're kind of taking this as like the common man and then red-barren was like, we support our pizza restocker. And so this is all getting like meshed up together. So Matt Marshall made it amazing. Yeah, here we go. So we got a mashup. We got, I didn't realize Elon posted about this. So Elon posted, you know, a picture of kind of like evil Anakin Skywalker and Padme. And you know, Benny Johnson posted, this is such a classic Betty moment, bag secured red-barren pizza for the kids tonight. Stuffed crust was fire. There's a picture. Of course Gunther Eagleman, he's eating some red-barren. It's clearly AI, but go ahead. That's a good boy. Some random Maga account posted POV. You're the red-barren pizza. I'm about to eat in a single sitting and he's got AI Anakin Skywalker with a white monster, which is another. I'm sorry, but the best one is the Department of Education. Yes. And they posted. Posting Anakin Skywalker. There's magic and learning. Anakin kills all the young Jedi, I mean, spoiler, sorry, but like famously bad for young kids trying to learn is Anakin Skywalker. Someone says it cannot be overstated how culturally significant Anakin posting is. I don't think you could better engineer an anti progressive mimetic virus in a lab if you tried. And Katie Miller, Stephen Miller's wife. She dressed up in kind of like Princess Leia, and Anakin in your life. Find the Anakin in your life. Well, you know, I will say Katie Miller has succeeded there in terms of finding like an evil guy. Yeah, I mean again, Anakin is not a hero, Anakin is bad. The idea that he's being treated as a hero by the right is a little concerning, but these guys are weirdos. I'm more interested in the red-barren pizza in a way like why? Why did this become a thing? Is it any good? And have had red-barren pizza. Red-barren, I've always thought of as a little down the rankings of the frozen pizzas, you know, I, so what's up with this? Like, why are they all into it? I don't get it. Pizza restocker. I get it, but like, you don't have to jump on any like- Well, that's a weird one because it's not really like, there's not necessarily like a political valence to it. Yeah. Unless- So we're talking red-barren pizzas, like, okay. Yeah, I think they're kind of looking for anything, any kind of good news story to latch on to right now, you know, where, you know, it's just to put upon white guy, I guess, is what they're seeing in it. I mean, there's not a lot of good news for them over the past few days. The idea that Benny would go out and buy what appears to be four or five boxes of this shit is so classic. Well, this is like not the first thing that we can turn into viral content. Benny has subjected his children's dinner to the culture war, right? 'Cause remember when he- I thought they were all about like healthy eating. What the hell? Well, remember when he took the family to Shake Shack? And they were just like, oh, the kids, they love the Shake Shack, or not, I'm sorry, not Shake Shack. Stakin Shake. Stakin Shake. Yeah. Yeah. So it's, you know, whatever, oh, what's for dinner, dad? I don't know. What's trending on Twitter? [laughs] You got to get the farm boxes trending so they could eat well. All right. Well, this was a pleasure. I just want to read one comment because we've had a lot of great comments. But one in particular, that really was great. And I think summarized the entire conversations from Radogast, Brown 420. And it just says this, Sam is so unfunny. Oh, no. Oh, well, I disagree. Radogast. Radogast. I see you. I'm going to let you stay because I love you. I love all you. We love our community. We do. And I am not. I'm not funny. Sometimes I'm not. I do miss on occasion. Well, sometimes it's serious. It's like red baron and Anakin stuff and, you know, how Anakin's going to save the midterms. You know, I do want to give a plug before we close, we have our live stream tomorrow night. Why would you do that? But you plug away. You do the plug. Well, I was just going to say, I'm going to be holding it down at certain at the 10 p.m. shift, folks, now we'll give a shit about anything prior to when does the live stream start? I should have. I should have, I should have liked you to plug it in some part of the live stream. So you're going to want it to go 10 p.m. to 1130. Don't worry about anything else. You can ignore the first three hours. All right. I'm going to get serious. We do have a live stream coming up. No, it's on Tuesday night. We're starting at seven. There you go. You can see right there. It's on all the platforms. Join it. It's going to be great. We don't know when we're going to end. It's going to get really loopy. There may be beverages involved. We'll see which direction that goes. Tim Sarajeviel, myself, Lorning, and Andrew Agger will. There's going to be, I think, some bill stuff. You know, it's going to be just a, I know, honestly, it's a time to sort of get together as a community, take in the election results, sort through what's happening, talk about the stakes, talk about what it means going forward. This is kind of my favorite part of being at the book is that there's an incredible community. Even the people who say I'm not funny, you're great. So join us. If you like this, it's a free live stream. So don't worry about that. Anyone can join. But if you do support what we are doing. If you want to support podcasts like this, videos like this, and moments like that, please do subscribe to the book. Like these videos, share these videos, subscribe. We really appreciate it. It helps, helps keep the lights on. All right, buddy. Another good Maga Mondays in the books. Thanks for doing this, bud. Yeah, I have midterm fever. I'm ready. All right. Take care. Take care, everybody.

Summary:

The host reflects on a chaotic and politically charged week leading up to the midterms, blending personal anecdotes with sharp political observations. A Halloween costume mishap and surreal media coverage—like a failed Alaska undercover sting—highlight the absurdity in right-wing narratives. " Trump’s increasingly erratic public statements, including bizarre rants on flag poles and celebrities, fuel speculation about his mental health or substance use.
