GOP Gets Brutal Surprise in Kansas

The transcript highlights a heated political debate between Democratic candidate Adam Hamilton and Republican Senator Roger Marshall in Kansas, focusing on controversial policies like U.S.-Russia diesel deals, tariffs, and the war in Ukraine. Hamilton critiques Marshall’s support for these policies, arguing they harm farmers, raise fuel prices, and damage national unity. He contrasts Marshall’s incoherent, deflection-heavy responses with his own data-driven, empathetic approach, emphasizing the impact on real people—especially rural Kansas residents. The debate also underscores broader issues of political integrity, with Hamilton challenging the idea of voter bribery and calling for compassionate, inclusive governance. Meanwhile, a promotional segment introduces Wild Alaskan, a sustainable seafood brand delivering high-quality, vacuum-sealed, premium fish directly to consumers. The narrative concludes with a call for voters to support Hamilton as a leader who stands for fairness, transparency, and national unity—contrasting sharply with Marshall’s controversial and disconnected stance. The overall message promotes financial and political awareness, urging consumers and citizens to make informed choices based on trust, ethics, and accountability.

Donald Trump is getting a rude awakening in Kansas, which looks like it's turning blue. And last night, the Democratic candidate Adam Hamilton had an incredible debate and ran circles around Donald Trump's stooge. The Maga Republican Senator of Kansas, Roger Marshall. Marshall was flailing. His answers were incoherent. And the Democratic candidate Adam Hamilton showed that he's like a generational talent debater, politician, and all around good human being. Whereas Roger Marshall, man, what a putrid individual he is. Let me show you what went down. I want to share with you over here as the Maga Republican Senator in Kansas, who's now trailing in the polls to the Democrat. You'll see Roger Marshall, Maga Republican Senator, showing that he supports the disastrous plan to buy Russian diesel. I'm all for it right now. Marshall says, watch Hamilton's answer, watch Maga Republican Marshall's answer. Let's play this clip. Ask you this follow up to both of you. Mr. Hamilton, do you support the president's agreement with Russia to buy diesel fuel? No, it's up to 30 seconds. That's a disaster. Why in the world would we agree to do this with Russia? And many Republicans are saying the same thing. So this is selling out our allies, the Ukrainians, and this is not okay. We should not be doing this. Mr. Marshall, same question to you. Do you support the deal with Russia to buy diesel fuel to bring prices down in this country? This is why we can't have a senator like this is going to jump to conclusions. Look, it doesn't sound like a great idea to me, but already today, now we're seeing folks back at the bargaining table. If this brings Russia to the bargaining table and it ends the war, then I'm all for it right now. Then you had Roger Marshall being asked, what do you think the benefits of tariffs are? Do you really think the tariffs have helped or do you think the tariffs have been disastrous to the people of Kansas? Watch for yourself. I talked to people across the state of Kansas and we've done over 300 stops the last couple months. What they tell me that they want is a good job. A job that a job that gives a meaning and purpose, and there are good jobs all across the state of Kansas. Look at Boeing in Wichita, another one. They're backed up for about three years. Text drawing growing. Trust me, anyone that's building 18s or F-35s, they're very busy right now. Can I have a response since you did 15 seconds? 15 seconds. So I did talk to one of those manufacturers making parts for the F-15 having to import a tariff-laden aluminum. They said that they lost $80,000 on their last contract. They're going to lose employees because that great planes manufacturing, Kubota, they are charging now $2,000 in tariffs for one of their leading pieces of equipment. You have made that possible. Now they're wondering if they're going to keep their jobs. I did sit down with them. You said you've listened in 300 campaign stops. You did not listen in 300 campaign stops. All right. 300 photo ops. Let's move on to another issue. More from Roger Marshall here who continues to deflect and avoid responsibility for rising diesel prices as a result of the catastrophic Iran war that he supports. He blames Ukraine. He says it's all the fault of Ukraine. It has nothing to do with the catastrophic war in Iran. It's Zelensky's fault. This is what Marshall sang and he says this is why we need closer alliances with Uten. Here's what he says. Let's play it. To the Kansas City start you said you were sorry fuel prices were rising, but added your national security, yes, is even more important in your pocketbook. You also said you hoped the war would last weeks not much. Well, here we are six months later. The war is still very much underway. Have you changed your position on this? Would you now support a moratorium on the federal fuels gas and diesel tax? And if so, for how long you have 60 seconds? Well, look, I think that some type of moratorium on the diesel tax is a short term solution. I'm not opposed to it. But let's think about what the real problem here is. The real problem with the cost of diesel in particular is number one is the Ukraine war. More from Roger Marshall over here who said leaving Afghanistan led to the Ukraine war. What here play this clip? That room in the world. Look, again, Afghanistan, the leaving Afghanistan led to the Ukraine war and that gave Putin the open and we can't have a country that's weak, just so weak that it leads us to war. Your time is up. Okay. Well, it should also be noted that it was Donald Trump who released 5,000 Taliban soldiers and then it was up to Biden to have to implement the plan that Trump negotiated directly with the Taliban and cut out the Afghan government at that time. So that's the fact that what are you talking about Afghanistan with Roger Marshall just look completely lost on stage. More from Roger Marshall over here once again claiming that price hiking tariffs are working here play this clip. We're seeing a manufacturing renaissance because we're bringing these jobs back home. So the tariffs are working out and then you had Marshall asked, is there anything that you think involving Israel involving Nanyahu that you wouldn't support because you support everything he's doing right now. You support the genocide, you support offensive and defensive weapons, you support American tax money going to Netanyahu blowing up hospitals and schools and killing little children instead of our money going to helping little children helping build schools and hospitals here in the United States. So let's take a look at what he says. Let's play it. Mr. Marshall, is there any action by Israel? You do support offensive and defensive weapons, any action by Israel that would cause you to block a sale to that country 60 seconds. No, I'm sure there is. But they're not, I'm not sure what it would be, but I'm sure, but I'm absolutely that there would be. Then you have Adam Hamilton explaining that the war in Iran is driving up costs for gas and fertilizer. Let's play it. When I travel across the state, talking to farmers and I've talked to lots of them and actually sat and listened to them. And part of what they say is we don't want subsidies. We just want to have an even playing field where we have a chance to, you know, to make a living. And what's happening today because of the war in Iran, we have diesel prices record highs a year ago, $3.40 a gallon, now $6.40 a gallon. That's killing people, phosphate doubling in price. You have the tariffs, which are impacting trade deals. I mean, all of these things are making it harder and harder on Kansas farmers. So we do need protection for Kansas farmers. I will fight for that. But I also want to say that what's happening in Washington that Roger Marshall supporting is hurting Kansas farmers and they're crying out and saying, look, we don't want subsidies. Well, we want as a chance to earn a decent living on our own. And Washington is making it harder and harder and harder. That's not okay. More from the democratic candidate, Adam Hamilton, who talks about how Washington is broken. Let's play it. Somebody who has led from the middle for 38 years. So I, and my aim is if I'm elected as a moderate or independent might a Democrat, I'm going to work across the aisle to try to bring people together to solve problems. And I, you know, I do care about these issues, but I will tell you I also love the beef industry. And I'm going to fight for them in Washington, DC. They're hurting under the policies that Roger Marshall supporting. So again and again and again, whether it's diesel fuel prices, whether it's the tariffs and impact tariffs are having on farmers, folks are recognized. It's, you know, it's, it's what's happening in the Southwest part of the state right now. People are crying out and saying, come on, Roger Marshall, speak up for us. I'm going to speak up for us. He says he speaks up for us, but the president doesn't seem to listen to what he has to say. I've really been trying to keep healthier high quality ingredients around the house. And one thing I've got entire time is buying seafood that looks great at the store, but then just doesn't live up to expectations. That's why I love wild, the last company. They offer the best way to get wild, caught high quality seafood delivered right to your door on your schedule. Each box comes with individually portioned vacuum sealed fillets that are easy to prep, whether I'm throwing together a quick dinner or making something a little more special. Plus every order supports sustainable harvesting practices and Alaskan fishermen whose history is tied to the region and the practice. One of my favorites has been the coho salmon. It's incredibly versatile, cooks up beautifully and has a great texture that makes it an easy go-to for dinner. Wild the Alaskan company is so confident that their fish is the best that they offer a 100% satisfaction and money back guarantee so you can try your first box risk-free. Thanks to wildalaskan company for sponsoring this episode. More over here from Adam Hamilton, laying out the facts about the mega-republic and extremist Trump or golden ballroom, stew, drager, martial, voting 14 times to stay in the war. Let's play it. the aim is to end the worst quickly as possible. This is really a short-term solution. It saves 30 cents a gallon for farmers who are paying six dollars and 40 cents a gallon for diesel fuel. We're trying to find some immediately relief, but it's not a long-term solution. It's a very short-term stopgap. And my hope is that in January, we're going to bring a bill to really force the president to bring this war to a conclusion very quickly. Cansons need that. Americans need that. They're crying out for it. And again, Roger Marshall has failed to support ending the war. Adam Hamilton's closing statement was incredible play this clip. So if you appreciate having record diesel fuel prices, 50,000 people in Kansas taken off of health care, thousands of children are no longer receiving snap benefits. If you feel like it's okay to have iced arresting people in southwest Kansas and hurting our livestock industry, if you think the tariffs are good and unpredictability chaos and corruption is okay in Washington, then I'd say vote for Roger Marshall. If you want change, then I'd like to ask you to vote for me, whether you're a Republican, Democrat or independent. I will stand up for you. I will fight for you and I'm going to make sure that in Washington, DC, we're acting with decency, compassion, kindness, and we're doing the right thing for the people in Kansas. Please vote for me. My website is hamiltonforcansons.com, check it out. Also Adam Hamilton used the $5,000 Trump dividend as a way to show that Roger Marshall was just also a complete fraud. And if we want to help people, apparently there's money to try to bribe people to vote which Trump isn't going to give. So why don't we put money to use for all people, not for who they vote for as Americans here play this clip. So $35 billion a year, I just want to just keep in mind the president offered to pay people voters $5,000 a piece to reelect Roger Marshall. That's not my question. No, no, no, no, hold on. And he was going to spend a trillion dollars to do that. And I was going to cost a trillion dollars. So we're talking $350 billion over 10 years in order to help people have their health insurance. Listen, there's other ways we can cut, but we got to do better by our people. So you would cut to make one. I would like to see. Yeah. I'm going to ask you this quick follow or I would take it from the trillion dollars that the president was going to spend a bribe Americans to vote for Roger Marshall and other. Then you had Roger Marshall on defense trying to like say Chuck Schumer. That's all they got. Chuck Schumer, bathrooms, Chuck Schumer and bathrooms spooky. Adam Hamilton's like, yeah, it's clear what you just meant. You meant that you want Zelensky to surrender here. Play this clip. Aside Chuck Schumer, give him control of the Senate. Thank you. So to go back to those same policies that got us here. And I love the Hamilton 15 tech. Yeah, absolutely. So what you said just now is you're going to sell out our friends in Ukraine. That's not okay. By the way, our red wheat in Kansas came from Ukraine from people who immigrated here. You're going to sell out Ukraine. That's just not okay. It's indecent. And then Roger Marshall refused to show up at the kind of post debate wrap up. Roger Marshall was out of there. Adam Hamilton was there. I'll show you what the reporters like they were like, yeah, Roger Marshall just like refused to show up. Play this clip. We interviewed Mr. Hamilton earlier. We offered the same time here on our post debate show to Senator Marshall. We understand he has left. He's no longer in the building. So he's declined our offer. You know, when I think about Kansas and I think about how far the Republican party has fallen, I think about the 1996 Republican National Convention. I was young at that time. I was born in 1985. So in 1990 now, you now know how old I am. So in 1996, I was 11 years old. And I remember this debate, Bill Clinton versus Bob Dole. Clinton from Arkansas already served as term in the presidency. Bob Dole was a former US senator from Kansas. He was from Kansas at the time, represented Kansas. Let me show you what the Republican platform looked like at Bob Dole, the Republican candidate for the presidency speech. And you'll see everybody in the crowd cheering and applauding Bob Dole from Kansas. He was talking about how important immigrants are. How an immigrant crosses the border, even if they're not a citizen, even if they don't have their papers. We owe it to immigrants to their human beings. We need to treat all people with respect. This is the Republican party leader in 1996. And the whole crowd's clapping. I had to show this to you, especially given the Kansas debate that I just showed you play this clip. A family from Mexico arrives this morning legally, has as much right to the American dream as a direct descendant of the founding fathers. The Republican party is broad and inclusive. It represents the Republican party is broad and inclusive. It represents many streams of opinion and many points of view. But if there's anyone who has mistakenly attached himself to our party in the belief that we're not open to citizens of every race and religion, then let me remind you, tonight this hall belongs to the party of Lincoln. And the exits which are clearly marked are for you to walk out of as I stand this ground without compromise. No, I can only look up. I can only look up at a very steep angle to wash in Lincoln. Let me remind you of their concern for the sometimes delicate unity of the people. The notion that we are and should be one people rather than peoples of the United States seems to self-evident and obvious that it's hard for me to imagine that I must defend it. And more from that speech right here of Bob Dole, the former Kansas Senator, he's no longer alive. But this is his speech, 1996. This is what the Republican party was like then here, play this clip. And when I think how we learned this lesson, I wonder how we could have unlearned it. Is the principle of unity so hard fought and at the cost of so many lives having been contested again and again in our history, and it's such a terrible price to be casually abandoned to the urge to divide? The answer is no. Must we give in to the senseless drive to break apart that which is beautiful and whole and good and suddenly I call on every American. The rise above all that may divide us and to defend the unity of the nation for the honor of generations past and the sake of those to come. The Constitution of the United States mandates equal protection under the law. This is not code language for racism, it is plain speaking against it. And the guiding right of my administration will be that in this country we have no rank ordered by birth, no claim to favoritism by race, no expectation of judgment other than it be even handed. And we cannot guarantee the outcome, but we shall guarantee the opportunity in America. There you have it everybody. Did you get your copy of WTF America? It's out now, get the hardcover, get the ebook or the audio. Tell me what you think. Brutal reviews. I mean, give me brutal, reviews are good. Be brutally honest is what I mean. If you like it, tell me you like it. If you don't like it, it's okay. I did my best. We did our best. I think you like it though. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. Bye everybody.
