The host reflects on a recent performance on *Dancing with the Stars*, where they felt both proud and emotionally vulnerable despite receiving harsh judging feedback. They emphasize that the televised version of the performance differs from what judges see, who are positioned to evaluate every step and hold a high standard of excellence. The host expresses frustration at early, dismissive comments like “what a shame,” which triggered strong emotional reactions, especially since they’ve put immense effort into their preparation. They argue that new performers, like their friend who is dancing for the first time, deserve more empathy and less harsh criticism, as they lack experience. The conversation also highlights personal growth, emotional resilience, and the joy found in the performance process, even amid stress. Themes of nostalgia and music—particularly Yacht Rock—are woven in, showing how personal tastes and cultural references shape identity. Family moments, such as a heartfelt conversation with parents after the show, provide emotional balance and grounding. The host expresses excitement for upcoming performances, story arcs, and the evolving audience, especially younger viewers who are discovering the show through new media. Ultimately, the episode balances vulnerability with resilience, celebrating both personal growth and the shared joy of performance, while acknowledging the emotional toll of competition.
[Music] A bangle hates to see this one coming. Yup. Okay. I guess we'll just say, "Hey, welcome back to Brooklyn Conor Makeup Podcast." That's always a good place to start. Okay. You know? Hey, Brooke. Hey, Connor. I like your shoes. Thank you. They came with these laces. That's sweet. I have two pairs of those below us. I thought that it was just something that the website was doing to be quirky, but when I received them, they were two different color laces, and I like it. That's fun. I like it too. It's very cool. Yeah. It's a very sweet, precious, tiny dancer. Good. It's so good. Fall kind of kid. No. Fall is here. Do not cry. I'm not going to cry. Fall is here, though. It's fabulous. It doesn't necessarily feel like it in Los Angeles, because it's hot. Would you do this week? I didn't do much. I've been watching a lot of TV. I don't remember how to do this. It's hard because it's like we know what we need to talk about, but it's like, how do we get? Yeah, okay. Whatever. We'll just do it. I think you can just start. Or do you want? Maybe I. Yeah, yeah. You start. I didn't make it. Dancing with the Stars was on last night. Yeah. Which is one of my favorite shows. Oh, I miss it. You may have heard of it. It's on ABC. 8 p.m. EST, as well as 8 p.m. PST. Yeah. Not to be confused with them coming out at the same time. Very funky. How would they? You know, one of my friends is on the show and I, he's a good friend of mine. And he did amazing. And I want him to know that genuinely, and I'm not blowing smoke up his ass because he's a partner of mine, like, that was a good dance and like, you are getting choreography that is really challenging because you can do it because you can move your body in a certain way that is exceptional. Yeah. And you're being held to a really high standard because of how you can move your body in that fabulous way. Thanks. Yeah. Love to move. Yeah. I know. Before we even do any of this, I feel good. Yeah. About the cut. Like, I feel good. You should. I posted a lot of stuff last night. Oh, I called Logan. I wish Connor would called me. It was, it was a, we, we stayed after the show yesterday, like, pretty late until like 10 PM. We were there doing press and stuff. Um, yeah, it was like, it was like a very fun dance, it was a very different dance. You guys, and I also want to get ahead of it because there's like a lot of stuff. It feels like I am in a different world than the show people are watching, you know, because I'm like doing it and then I seal these things and it's different, but like, yeah, what are you seeing? So I don't watch the, I can't watch the show after because it's like genuine PTSD vibes. Um, but two things have come across, might I ask. One, obviously everyone sees the TV version, which is the camera version. Um, so they see a different show than what the judges see. Right. The judges, like, you guys, we can't get mad at the judges. The judges are there and they're sitting at an elevated space where they can see every step. So the score is coming in. The show has been around for 25 years. I promise there's some method to the madness, you know, like, I guess they got, they, they were booed after my scores were received. It's not even like a, do you mind if I speak as some of them? I didn't see the show. And I know, and I know the judges are your buddies and, and I like, I definitely like a few of them. Yeah. Definitely like a few of them. Um, you're, whatever the scores are one thing, like, I just like, they're so hard on you in a way that it's because they know how good you are and like, they can be hard on you. And they don't like feel bad for you anyway. But um, I, I was like, pretty, uh, can I, do you mind if I say that I was, you can say, what can I say? Can I say how I feel? I was really upset with Carrie Ann saying, saying, that's a shame. I stood up and I, and I bid that's a, that's a mean thing to say. You were the first words to come out of your mouth. What a shame. No. Thank you. I'm like, always good. If I got, if I got an update, perform for my heart out and the first words were what is shame? Yeah. I, I mean, I, you know what, I would have, I want to, I want to raise you this. Yeah. Yeah. Before I received what a shame feedback, first words, first person I look at, I contact Miranda Cosgrove, second person, she was pretty front and center, second person that I'm looking at while I say I'm going to throw up snooki. Yeah. If you can imagine like a, that's like, I took melatonin and fell asleep during the day. Yeah. That's like the experience I was telling you that is like nightmare like I'm on dancing with the stars. What is shame? Miranda Cosgrove. Snooki. Miranda Cosgrove. I do cuss a little. Yeah. Yeah. It, what? You know what? I didn't fuck with that. It was a shame because you can say that. Yeah. It was a shame. It was a really good dance. I know the whole dance. Two things. Two, two, two things really quick. One, I'm getting a lot of the feedback is like keep your head up, buddy, which is very much feeling like someone that's my age that I work with calling me, but like I'm okay. We work really hard. I'm naturally bummed because we put hours and hours and hours of practice into it. And then I do a dumb misstep that happened in my head. I'm going to be upset about not nailing the thing that we've been working on. Yeah. Like that is natural. I'm not going to freaking tell myself really well. You were covered really well. Yeah. I knew that it's. You didn't get it. You didn't get it. You didn't get it. You didn't get it. Yeah. But there was a lot of like online discourse about like this season is so weird. Everyone's so stressed that no one's having fun. It's a competition. It's a sport competition show. If everyone's hysterically laughing after the show, there would be like no one's taking this seriously. I think everyone's having a good time. I'm having a blast up there. I have a ton of fun with the press. Yeah. You do. You're not a work the camera. My dad said you're a show man. Brooks, Brooks, my dad. My dad is here. Brett. That's why I wasn't there last night because we're doing some some father daughter time. Dad fixed my curtain. Oh, no. Oh my gosh. That's awesome. Yeah. But it's just like this, the judging and like it's not even the scores that I'm upset about. It's the way that different people are like being treated. That's like ruffling my feathers. Yeah. And it's like I know why in my heart. It's like because they know you're you have the potential to make it to the top and they're being hard on you, but like be nicer to my friend. Yeah. Because he's his first time dancing too. I am genuine. It's your first time dancing. That's what's crazy. I think they've forgotten that like you have zero experience zero. Like the fact that you're doing what you're doing with zero experience is unheard of. And they're so hard on you for what? I'm not. It's so weird. You know how like if someone responds to me and they're like they're in their car or something or they're like in a meeting and I get a response. It's like very short. And I'm like they hate me and I thought we were close friends, whatever. And I take that so personally I make up a backstory about this person hates me and now I'm I have malice and that's all made up and I've taken something personally completely out of context. I'm not taking the judges very direct almost hurt a little hurtful feedback personally at all. Oh, that's fine. No, I don't take it personally. I feel good. We're in a really good spot. And what's what's cool? Like unfortunately like the story lines amazing everyone loves the storyline. You know, to be in the receiving end of a storyline is like not awesome. You know, but down here, you know, and then to come back, I think Sierra was a really good example of that last week where she came in and they they were pretty harsh on her and she came in and was like Sierra Miller is in the building, baby. You know, like I like that's a cool thing to have. There's ebbs and flows. Yeah, it will feel really good next week when you like nail it and how boring would it be if I was that was right just like doing okay. The whole show. Oh yeah. I you decent and I like I have no qualms with you. And your story arc. I think that this will be a fun that will and you're amazing and perfect and like one of my closest friends. I am like, I'm having like a clarity moments after a post like like I'm trying to be like earnest and like give people behind the scene thought before they go away. Yeah. And I'm using the internet as my journal. I have never felt more like the thing that we always say when sorry I'm very stupid. Hey, you are not you don't say that about my friend. I'm like you guys I'm okay. Yeah. And the girl that's going to be okay, yeah, you are you all you are I practice right after this. Yeah. For next week. Yeah, I'm so excited for next week. It's a really weird thing to do this dance and then go out and like.
I'm sorry, fuck it up, and I'll have to be in the head space that we were in basically. The part that I messed up, I was very, very aware and I messed it up previously. Not like crazy. Remember last week I was like, last week genuinely I told you it was as if I had been dropped off on the beaches of Normandy in terms of heart rate. This week I was totally cool. I was like, okay, I'm messing this up, this up. The bottom floor ends, you know, and if you step off the bottom floor, I think you get seriously. The squalafide? Yeah, I think you might get the squalafide. I think. I don't know. I don't know how, you know. But there's cameras there, and we were flying towards these cameras, and so every time I'd be in the head, I'm like, we had to stop or we had to hit the cameras. So that's what you see there when I, when I missed steps, we were barreling at these cameras, and I missed the one step and then I tried to catch up luckily, I knew when we had to get back on. Anyway. Did you know that a few seasons ago, the guy from Coda was on Dancing with the Stars? And he's deaf, and he can't hear the beats. Yeah. Can you imagine that? No. That feels pretty impossible. I guess you can feel the vibrations, but like, still to me, that feels like an impossible feat. Yeah. It's crazy what people can do. It is what the human spirit is capable of. Yeah. Yeah. Um. Well, I think you did amazing and, you know, you're my mirror ball champ. Thanks. Forever. It'll be fun. I'm excited for next week. It'll be a fun journey. I'm like, if people like, if nothing else, great TV, oh, yeah, fun TV, that's what I genuinely, my apologies for like, taking the competition, so you're like, you guys know that I can't play fishbowl with my family anymore because it's not fun for anyone, right? I take it too seriously. We have retired fishbowl from my home because if you're acting out the wrench, like, why are you on your tiptoes? You know, like that will piss me. You know, this is the same thing. I'm in a competition. I'm taking it seriously. There is going to be spikes and there's going to be lulls emotionally and there's going to be excitement. I might over, I might over-celebrate even if I do well next week. Yeah. However, if next week, if I miss that next week, there will be no next chance, maybe you'll never find my body. It'll be far. It'll be gone. Can you tell us anything about next week or is it under lock and key? It's y'all rock. Okay. Give me an example of y'all rock. I want to tell you a bunch of examples of stuff that's like very shocking to me. Yeah. There is an age gap where things are, we've now hit the age gap. I'm obviously on my phone. My whole feed now is obviously just videos. It is crazy. Videos of me messing up and then videos of people being like, like, telling my dancer with the stars and being like, is dancer the source popular again? Or am I at the age where I watch dancing with the stars? I think both. I think it's a combo piece. But there's a younger audience that doesn't know what y'all rock is and I'm feeling very confused about it. I've kind of known either. Okay. It's basically like, I've always done this because like, you know, I love to be on a boat. Yeah. And I'm always, you know, like, kind of my ears perk up when I hear about someone's parents that have a boat or maybe they, you know, they have a close friend with a boat. You know, I'm always looking for the person who owns the boat. And when I'm on a boat, I'm like, who, who can, who can I talk to you about? Who's the manager? I wonder what would like to speak to the manager of the boat? Because I want to get on the ox as I want to play Holland Oats. There are y'all rock. I want to play. Yeah. It's like kind of like, let me think, Holland Oats, some Fleetwood Mac, I would say Lenny Kravitz would be Yacht Rock, but you know Yacht Rock, who, who else would be Christopher Cross? Absolutely. Um. Oh, Bob. Well, anyway, it's like kind of just like, what Yacht Rock did you play? Like in the house, for example, none. You're not a Yacht Rock person. I actually listened to Yacht Rock in the sense that there's a few, there's like a band that Jimmy Buffett, I love it. Jimmy Buffett, the doobie brothers. Oh, listen in the music. Is that Yacht Rock? Yeah, yes. I think so. There's a band that turns show tunes into Yacht Rock, which I like. Like Bill Withers. Um. Yes. Yes. Toto. I think would play. So anyways. Um. I don't think I can say it yet. Okay. Yeah. Holland Oats, Kenny Loggins, Toto, Steely Dan. I like all these people. Um. Little bit of a false, younger audience is not like getting what Yacht Rock is. There's a moment last night when we're sitting up there and I was like, oh my God, it's Mickey's here and Riley was like, who's snucky? And then I said, oh, oh, okay. And then I looked and I said, oh my God, Miranda Cosgrave's here. Oh, stop. She goes, who's that? I go. From my Carly. She's like, what's that car? No, no, no, no. That's really, really, really scary. It's all right. But it is crazy. There's like a lot of things are really happening. I honestly think dancing like this season is bringing in a new generation. Yeah. Because as we're so young, you have, we have a young fan base. Um, I don't remember who else is on the show, but I'm sure that as we're just crashing too. Oh, I mean, the guys that's, I mean, like, we know, we know he's good. I knew he was trouble when he walked in. When he walked in, I think I did too. Yeah. Yeah. I feel like everyone I meet lately is trying to be smarter with money. Myself included cash back here, coupons and points there, but why does it take so much effort? We all just want to make our money work a little harder. I totally agree, Connor. I love a good deal, but if I actually have to hunt for one or go out of my way to activate a coupon, I've already checked out. Yeah. Well, Brooke, I think I found one you'll actually like prime for young adults. It's actually pretty genius. It's a prime membership for 18 to 24 year olds that actually makes prime feel like it's built for you. All right. My attention, Connor, but what's the catch? What if I told you there isn't one? I'm talking about 5% cash back on eligible purchases and categories of beauty, apparel, electronics, PCs, and health, and personal care. You're telling me this whole time I could have been getting rewarded for the purchases I already make? And with no catch? Exactly. You're not changing your shopping habits. You just get rewarded for them. And the best part, the cash back is automatic, no coupons, no activation, no extra steps. Now that's the kind of reward I can get behind. Now extra work, just getting rewarded for the life of Marty Living, talking about prime for young adults, 5% cash back, 100% made for you. I'm talking about that. If you're up to 18 and 24, check out prime for young adults and start earning cash back on the purchases you're already making. Prime for young adults is only available for 18 to 24 year olds terms apply. Hey guys, we want to take a break to think a sponsor of today's episode, Sonic. what I need to do is like, I've never, I'm gonna done talking about it after this. - No, I have, you know I never want you. - I want to talk about the age thing, again, for singing, but just like the level of like, you think of like Amber, who's phenomenal. She's just all the things she said. - She was really good. - Yeah, it's phenomenal. Amber didn't land her triple axel, I think, in the Olympics, like, I can imagine how devastating that must have felt. Me being bummed about misstepping during my rendez-- - There'll be bombs. - Yeah, but that was my dropping my triple axel. I want you guys to know, sorry, I just realized something. My goal was to feel vulnerable. I did it. - Yeah, check. - Yeah, check, I felt vulnerable, never wanna, I'd like feel good about where I'm at in terms of putting myself out there. Kinda wanna go back into my shell a little for a little bit. Messing that up, messing that up and being like, and then all phones are being, this is the most viewers we've had ever. I don't know, yay. - But you know what, your post interview was like really, really good. - It was earnest. I had a different, really good-ass. - I'm assuming we were good. (laughs) - You had something else like that. - I had something really good. - You ate last minute? - Yeah, and I was like, I really wanted to show off this dance. It's a very different, and I, you know, being out there, there was challenges, but obviously, we overcame. We didn't quite overcome. - Uh-huh. - What did Riley say to you after, if you, like, anything that helpful? - She's so, the voice of it, she's just like, you're not an answer. Like, what do you want? - Yeah. - I expect, and I'm like, I expect to do the dance that we announced 45 times, like we did it. Kind of, I want to ask her if we can do this. Go do one run of this week's dancers, like, at the grove in the middle of the road, before we do it. - I love that. - And then just be like, that is, there must just be some, like, performance anxiety that I have, 'cause I'm not, I'm not even nervous when we go out there. I'm not. I'm just like, there's little parts every, every time we do a dance where I'm like, okay, don't mess up that part. There's like a little thing that's like, you've got it though. - Yeah. - Bitch. - Oh, I'm sure everyone has that. - Yeah. Here's something, maybe a question you can answer. - Okay. - For, you know, the first dance you did, I would describe as, like, very sexy. - Yeah. - Last night's I would actually describe it as more romantic. - Yeah. - If you could give us one word for next week. - Light. - Light. - Yeah. - Cute, I love that. - Yeah, I think it'll be really nice. It'll be good, another good change of pace. - Nice and light. - Nice and light. Slow. - I love that. - Anyways, feel good. Next week's gonna be awesome. Story line vibes, character arc vibes. In terms of technique and dancing, like, the train die, we are doing, like, we are doing the dances. So, like, that is something to be proud of, you know? Like, I don't really have-- - You're not relying on stunts and chocolate, are you? - Some people are, you're not. - I wish I, I wish I, you know. - You're doing, you're doing really hard dances. - The dances are really hard. My goal was to learn the style of dancing and the things, and to have fun. - You are. - And so, to anyone thinking I'm not having fun, I'm just like, really competitive. But trust me, when I say I'm competitive, and I look sad, when I shut the camera off, I'm fired up. I'm competitive in a fun way if you're on my team. - Yeah, competition is over. - You're not, have we played any board games together ever? Or like? - I feel like every time it's gotten to Fishbowl at a party, I have gone to bed. - Yeah. - So. - I love football. - No, 'cause you don't like, like games. - I like, I like group games that are, that people are aware are going to get heated, you know? - Like, what games do you like? - Fishbowl, I guess, is the only-- - I've never played Fishbowl with you. Yeah, like, I feel like you wouldn't play like, like, I would play backammon, like, you wouldn't play stuff like that. Or, like, categories. - We have to play Fishbowl this weekend. - Okay. - Cadet Texas me. Sorry. Sorry. - Do you want to hang out? Are you just going to hang out or something? - Sure. - I'd like to hang out. - Okay, cool. - I love that. - That's cute. Yeah, we should play Fishbowl, and like, have a good group, and I want to get really competitive. I think that maybe having something that's not specifically dance might help me. - Ease my mind. - Channel that energy into something else. - Into Fishbowl. - Yeah, into Fishbowl. That could be pretty and good. - That could be pretty. Maybe I'll really, like, let my hair down at Fishbowl, and then I'll really-- - I think it could. - Tie it back. - Yeah. - Um, oh, the age thing. I was going to tell you something so weird. Do you have that thing of where you think about ages and things happening, and you're like, "Wait, this is never supposed to happen." Yeah, that I was, you know, like, things happen, and it's like, "Oh, wait, oh my god. "I don't know how to explain it." - Try a little harder for me. - Okay, I am, like, really putting brain into this, but do you have that thing of where you get to a point and there's, like, a canon event, and you're like, "Oh my god, I'm. " - Um, it's happening to me, too. - It's happening to me, and then you're like, "Wait, this is, things just, like, start to happen "and, like, play out," and you're like-- - Can you explain an example of a canon event that might happen? - Kind of, like, how I say that-- - Like, like, if your eyes start getting blurry? - Yeah. - Or, like, my knee shirt? - Yeah. And you're like, "Wait, I wasn't supposed to be aging." - Or, yeah. - Yeah, yeah. - I wasn't supposed to be aging. About how, like, I've already passed, like, the example I used last week, that's not great, was, like, I passed, like, my mom and Mia age because I was not raised in Greece. - Yes. - So that one was out of my hands, but, like, in terms of, mm, it's just, like, you are-- - Like, having a high cholesterol, like, huh? - My dad said something really upsetting recently, which was that, when he-- - Brett? - You would not say anything else. - When he looks in the mirror, the person he sees looking back at him is not the person he feels like. Like, how old do you feel you are in your soul? - No, I feel the thing is, the person will be back. He was not expecting to see-- - The person looking back at him is not what he expects. - Is that a-- - Zombiesong? - It might be. - But-- - The person-- - Up, and it happens quick. - What's-- you know what sucks? You look so young. Yes, and I'm saying that with my chest. And for us both, I do fear that there will be a day when it's just like, boom, you know? I want to look in the mirror. - Like, you go to bed one day feeling like I'm still young and then you wake up the other, the next day, and you're like, I'm old. I asked you, I've been like talking about age a lot with him, this trip. I asked him like, what was the exact age that he was like, oh, I'm old. - What was it for you? - Few different ones, few different ones. - When you're 40, is that losing your body? - When you're 40, and you start losing your vision and your hearing. - And your hairs are flying out. - Good thing we are not even remotely close to 40. - When am I gonna study abroad? - Right, you've studied abroad. For like a week, I really need to like, do an immersive study abroad trip. Why are we putting ages on studying abroad? I really want to go learn like, I'm a thing. - Well, our brains, like at some point, shut off to like learning a new language. - Huh? - Like, I think at like 25 when your brain is full, I'm making, I'm talking out of my, - I hope. - I hope you are. - But like, I really do think at like, some point your brain is like less malleable and that could be the wrong word to like learning new things. Like a language. Like it's much easier for you to learn a language on your younger. - 'Cause you're more of a sponge. I wish that yeah, I feel that way with the dance too. And then I wanna be done. We can be done telling you about dancing to the stars. But. - We don't have to be done. - I think we should. Oh, here we go. Oh my gosh. Children learn a new language most recently. What? Children learn a new language most easily and can reach, I can't even learn mine. Can reach native like fluency at age under 10, 10 to 18, they build it. The ability to learn grammar and remains, oh my god, I'm adding words to something. - So why do we start learning a language in high school? That's dumb. We should be learning it under 10. When a new language most is most easily. - Due to neuroplasticity. - That's the word I was looking for instead of malleable. Plasticity. - It worked. It both worked. - Yeah. - Well anyways, I'm going to like, can in events at this specific time. Really need to like hold back on what I'm posting and what I'm telling people I'm. - No, you're in your vulnerable. - I'm in my vulnerable era. - I've been loving. Like I actually, your video, your vulnerable post dance video came across my desk last night. I was like, I mean, I freaking love this guy. - Oh my god. - I was like thinking of something to comment. I was like really like, usually I would like say something like, jokey, but I was like, I don't want to. And I was about to comment like, I love you and you're my friend. (laughing) - Literally. - It was like sitting there for like 30 minutes like trying to think of something. - No, it, but like. - What did you, what did your mom and dad say? - Oh my god. Well, I'll tell you this. Here, great segue. I will tell you that when I finally saw my mom at dinner because they told you got their late sat down. She goes, nice job. Pete ordered her uber. They had, my mom was like, I need to go to bed. Like right now. So it was like hard to get feedback from her. But she did text me this morning. Let's read it. So now this is kind of like, the feedback I get from my mom in terms of dancing with the stars. Really the only feedback I should be getting is good job. - Right. - Something a little bit different came through this morning. - Yeah, able to write.
a few back at life. - Let's hear it. - Was Riley leading last night or you? - Leading what? 'Cause you know when you're like, "Yeah." - No, I wanna hear what I want you to get there, even though like, it seems like you can answer me. - Say it, say it out loud. - Yeah. - Like in the dance. Okay. And then this one like shouldn't make me mad, but because it's from my mom, like, I had to shut my phone and do some breathing. Good morning, it's a new day. - Thank you for letting me in. Did you respond? - No. I felt it was better for me not to respond because when you act on emotion. - Oh, totally. To get to dinner with my parents and then sit there in my frustrated state and still be like, what a blessing it is to feel frustrated that I didn't nail a dance that I know so well, but I'm in a place where I'm on dance through the stars and I'm frustrated with my performance and it was on live TV, but I'm gonna be okay. And then my dad be like, I can't figure out where my lift is and I look at his phone and it's upside down in his hands. - I've stayed in mind to be in, huh? - Yeah. I received a text from him, and that says, it's a new day, heart. And it was like the 2D heart, not even like the red bubbly heart. - Take some space today. Recharge, not that you need to, but if you want to. - Sure. - Recalibrate and we'll see you on that dance floor later at your earliest convenience. And let me just say, if you don't mind, just before, unless you have something else to say. What do you wanna say? - No, I want you to like close out where I'm at. - I have closing statements. - Yeah, close out the statement. - Also, wait, before my closing statements, the commercial, you spilled your water all over your card again just now. - Nothing matters anymore, nothing matters. And this specific can, cardboard box tastes. - Card box, love that. - The commercial that you were in before dancing with the stars, how did that happen? Were you just like, I wanna do it or they picked you up? - They picked me, yeah. - Me top? - That was really good. - Thank you. - I mean, the way you acted, incredible. I believed everything that you did in said. - I don't really understand. - You looked great. - Thanks. - And you have star power. - Thank you. - And everyone's been saying that you're gonna get some acting roles after this. - That's what the internet is saying, by the way. - Pay close attention to the space. As we walk out of, I'm just gonna start saying so, 'cause I'm in a space. I have an announcement I've been sitting on, but I literally can't say it. - How about you just say it? - No, I can't, because I want it to be like a buzz ball. - Is it the announcement that I'm thinking of? - Yeah. - Oh, populous. - Yeah, and it's just like, I'm gonna hold on to it, because like, I don't wanna like blow my load now, and then like I have so much left of other stuff. I'm gonna save it for when like, I really need it. But like. - P.O.D. - P.O.D. - You'll know I played too much. You'll know I love an announcement. - Yeah. - Oh my God. - I know, it's really hard to sit on them. I totally think that. - Yeah, I mean like, how fun isn't it? How fun is being like, I'm so excited to announce. - No, the best days of my life, the things that I've been most excited for have been the night, like the announcement days. Like even more so than like my book coming out, the night before announcing it was the best night of my life. - Christmas, morning? - Yeah. I couldn't sleep. At night before my book slept like a baby. Night before I had to announce my book, up all night, so excited. Just like, let me put, it's funny, it's so funny. - What? - When you post and then you go, I'm just gonna post, you're really good. (laughing) - You know that shit. - Yeah. - So hard. - Yeah. - Oh yeah, I love you. - Yeah. - Just like, oh yeah, I'm sure something's happening on my phone, but I don't need to look. - Yeah, me and my phone. - Who cares at all? - Yeah. - Oh, I love my phone. - That's a good feeling. - Yeah. - God, we're sick. - I know that, I know that. But before, you know, just my closing remarks are just that, I'm just so proud of you. - Well, thank you. I appreciate that. - I really am so proud of you. It is a joy to watch you every week. Like, it is truly like, I've never been this like, happy and excited and looking forward to something every week. And you've touched my heart and the hearts of America. And I'm just like, just so proud of you. It's crazy. - Thank you. - Yeah, and I can't wait for next week. - It's extremely nice. And, let's move right along. We get to obviously talking about this forever. All my interactions with each individual people. Obviously, I have to do my little brother, Ezra, talk again. The guy is-- - Maybe I could meet him next week if there's time permits. - The guy is show wise beyond his years. - I like that. - And he likes to imagine. - I can't ask him enough to run for a political seat. Like, he is perfect in every way. He's just the best person in the world. And then you see his dance. And it's like, let me like, like, I was shot. He was chaser big time. Just like, that was, thank you for chasing me. So to, to, to flow me right out of the minds of, and hearts. But, just the best guy in the world. - Hey guys, we want to take a break to think a sponsor of today's episode, Jones Road Beauty. - Mm. - I've realized the older I get, the less makeup I actually want to put on my face. I don't want like a million different products or anything that feels heavy. I just want my skin to look like my skin, but better. That's why I love Jones Road Beauty and specifically the Miracle Bomb. It gives you that effortless, glowy look without feeling like you're covering your face and layers of makeup. I love that I can literally use my fingers, throw it on, and immediately look more put together. You can use it as a highlighter, bronzer, blush, or even a lip tint. So it replaces a bunch of different steps in my routine. - Jones Road just launched her new minimalist defining mascara, which is blowing my mind. It fits perfectly into that same routine Burke was talking about. It gives your lashes really natural looking length, fullness and definition without clumping, smudging or flaking. The silicone wand separates every lash. So you get that soft feathery look. Instead of feeling like you have a ton of mascara on. - You always tell me when you prefer my feathery look. - The soft feathery look, you know, that's my favorite look. - Right now, I know, I know. Hey guys, we wanted to take a break to thank a sponsor of today's episode, Skims. Skims has become one of those brands that's just permanently in my rotation. Their cotton pieces, especially, are so soft and comfortable, but they still feel flattering and put together. It's the kind of stuff I recommend to friends because once you find a basic you love, you end up reaching for it constantly. One of my favorites is the Skim cotton jersey straight like pant. They have the perfect amount of stretch and somehow feel like true lounge pants without looking sloppy. I can wear them around the house all day, then throw on a cute top and sneaker to run errands without feeling like I'm fully out in pajamas. - Cute top, yeah. The cotton jersey fabric that she was talking about in general is just so soft and easy to wear and Skims really knows how to make basics that you actually want to live in. What were you saying? - Shop Skims cotton in all of my favorite pieces at skims.com. After you place your order, be sure to let them know we sent you. Select podcasts in the survey and be sure to select our show in the drop down menu that follows. - I feel like everyone I meet lately is trying to be smarter with money. My self included cash back here, coupons and points there. But why does it take so much effort? - I totally agree, Connor. - Yeah, well, Brooke, I think I found one you'll actually like. Prime for young adults. - All right, you've got my attention, Connor. But what's the catch? - What if I told you there isn't one? I'm talking about 5% cash back on eligible purchases and categories of beauty, apparel, electronics, PCs, and health and personal care. - You're telling me this whole time I could have been getting rewarded for the purchases I already make. And with no catch? - Exactly. And the best part, the cash back is automatic. No coupons, no activation, no extra steps. No extra work, just getting rewarded for the life of Marty Living, talking about prime for young adults, 5% cash back, 100% made for you. - I'm talking about that. If you're up to 18 and 24, check out prime for young adults and start earning cash back on the purchases, you're already making. Prime for young adults is only available for 18 to 24 year olds terms applied. Now, - Sometimes the shot lingers more than the chaser, man. - I don't want to, I don't want to linger. Ooh, maybe you could do linger one night. - Maybe. - I'd like that. - Okay, well. - Right before I went out to dance, Jena DeWon came up right after her dance. And we're really good friends. And I'm like right in the zone, that's like the first person you hug. And so I was like, yeah, I wanted to hug her. And obviously I'm right in the camera shot.
- That was a good viral moment. - I'm not having trouble with the viral moment. I'm doing okay, the dancing I'm struggling with randomly. I wish that it was just like, - Show really is only half about the dancing. - I wish that it was press with the stars, nailing the press, having a great time with the outlets. Yeah, I went to hug her and her mic was underneath her thing. So Jenna Johnson stepped up and fixed it. But I got, yeah, I got another mist hug. That's my second since the show started. - Well, remind me the first. - Riley in practice and that was in the package. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - And that's kind of, oh, and then the last thing was, I'm getting sponsored ads from Kelsey, the sports betting app. - Oh yeah. - Betting on me, you guys. - I never thought of that, but one of our friends, - It's making me shit. - It's been a dancing at the stars league. - Like fantasy league. - Like those of you. - On Calgary? - No, no, no, just like, I think it's more of just like, a bracket she has with her friends. - Maybe I should get into sports betting. - I don't think you need to. - Okay, I agree. - Yeah. - That would be like me being like, maybe she should start smoking cigarettes. - No need. That was like when I was like, I'm gonna start smoking cigars. - Throw deep cut. - Yeah. It's like just like something that's like, actually, no need. - No need to pick something else up. - No need to pick up another bike. - Speaking of. - What? - I bought a GameCube. - A GameCube? - I bought a GameCube last week. - I thought those were obsolete. - Completely. - Did you get it from eBay? - I was scammed to the gods. - Where did you buy this? - It's a hollow box. There's no wires in it. - No. - Yeah, $100 down the drain. There's no return address. - Where did you buy it? - eBay. - You can report the seller. - I did. - Good. - I did. - But what made you buy a GameCube? You also bought an iPod. - I bought an iPod. I did, I talked about the iPod. - I don't remember. - Yeah, I bought an iPod. Wow, what's happening to me? I bought an iPod. Oh, I know what's happening to me. I'm just on my phone watching me mess up in slow motion 600 times in a row and then I go time for bed. You know, I need like to play super smash brothers and crash me into cute for an hour to decompress. Sorry, reading before bed is not gonna work for me because I'm gonna fall asleep on page one and there's gonna be drool on my book. Can't do that. So I do need to have some blue light before bed as a treat for my blue light all day. - I think you've muted on Instagram. - What do you mean? - I think you've, my story's muted. - I don't know. - Yeah, I'm being honest. - Oh, look after her. - Because there's been like four things I've been like, I saw it today. I saw it this morning driving here. - No, I don't think you did. Are you gonna look up if I saw your story? - Yeah, because you know, I purchased that feature. - I did too, Brooke. - Of needing to search. - Oh, I did too. - No, you haven't viewed any of my stories and I checked about a week ago 'cause I posted something of us and I was like, hi, has he not seen this yet? It's like really sweet and you hadn't and I was like, that's weird. And then ever since then, I've been checking on you. - I saw this, I saw all this, I saw all of this. - And then there's, no, Fibola View, who viewed the story, Fibola 20 seconds ago. - Oh, maybe she'll be on BNC. - Are you the one posting everything on BNC? - No, thank you to whoever is though. That's very kind. I'm sorry that you're seeing everything twice. - What do you mean I'm seeing everything? - Like it's going on our, I'm sure. - Oh, I don't care. But thank you to, that's-- - I think you've, you had me muted. - I didn't have you muted. - Okay, I just, I could have done something that you've had me muted before. - The people that are muted. - That's sadistic. - Okay, just like trying, like view my answer, I'm sorry. - I know, that is, I don't know why that would be because the Lord knows all I'm on my phone for is to see. - Not asking pictures and videos of myself. - Just want your attention. (laughing) - Not asking for anything except your undivided attention. - I wanted to include this in my conversation about going up dinner with my parents last night. Just like, you know, there's that trend of like, my dad when I'm already overstimulated. - Yeah. - Can you, you want to hear what he said last night after my dance? - Yeah. You see, this is normal, Dad. - He said, "Do you know Tom Brady threw four receptions "one week, best clear back to Amber?" And the next week, he threw five touchdowns. So you come back. - Am I Tom Brady in that situation? (laughing) - No, I think Tom Brady is Tom Brady. Oh wait, say it again. - I can't make that. I think you did too, but I'm not Tom Brady, but I like it. - Wait, what did he say? - He said, Tom Brady threw, Tom Brady threw five interceptions one week and then the next, the following week, he threw four touchdowns. - So it's bad to throw an interception. - Yeah. - Okay, yeah, that's a good lesson. - It was a good lesson and I don't think it's, I don't think that even happened, but I do take, I will take placebo. - Yeah, take placebo, take placebo and run with it. - I told you last week, before my dance last week, I was at lunch with my parents and I'm trying to really calm down. And a lot of people are noticing that I'm strong and high stress, you must be new here. That is how I, that's my baseline. It is good, my stress is good for me. You know, like if I'm not stressed, I would be stressed. I would freak me out. I'm sitting there at lunch with my parents. Nice, it's great to see them, they're in town. They extended the invites to about, let's say, 10 or 11 other people. So now there's babies. - Like their friends? - Just like a family. It's like babies running around and everything and we're in a, they switched the restaurant last minute to a sports bar because there was football on and so it's jam packed and there's babies running around and whatever. I look to my dad, he's giving me advice. His mouth is bleeding, he's bit it's tongue. There's blood coming out of his mouth on both sides. He's like, listen, it is just fun. You know, like it's not like, you're bleeding pretty heavy. I'm out. I catch my mom at the end of the table. She's going, I can't even hear her. She sat at the end of the table. She's like, I'm like, that's pissing out. You know, like that's making me mad. It shouldn't make me mad. Babies are in a different booth. And there's like silverware setup. That's a table that the servers are going to seat someone at and they're playing with the forks in the knives. I'm like, okay, this has to wrap up pretty immediately. We go to had home, my mom has that mom gene in her where for on a hike she needs to be pretty much like completely in front of us, where you can barely see her. She does that on the bike too. We're biking on the way home. I can't see her. I'm like, you know, whatever, she's probably already home. Turn the corner, she's on the ground and complete. She's falling off her bike, laying on the sidewalk. Cars pulled over. She's laying on the ground, talking to the car. And I can actually hear her say, yeah, I don't know what happened. The curb was higher than I thought. And I was like, okay, like this is just like too much. So I thought my parents being here would be like a, I can like refer, it has been, my mom called me, bless her heart. I'm so excited that they're here. I love them, but my mom calling me right before I go out to dance. We need early checking at the hotel. Baby call the hotel. - Baby, you have the rubber. Baby, you have the wrong number. - Hey, man, I get it. But you're doing great and you're managing your stress levels, the best that you can with the tools that you have. And your toolbox is overflowing. What does that mean? - I don't know. It's just that you have the tools. - Yeah. - And you're using them to the best of your ability. And that's all that you can do. - Did you see Grace or Edgar got SNL? - Yes. We are on the precipice of something magnificent. - We might be. - I do with her in Veronica. - Yes, exactly. I do feel like something happens when you get to SNL where they water you down from something incredible and then this ice melts in your cup and you become like left over eliminated in your car from earlier in terms of like jokes. - Both said. - I don't feel like you can do that to like a Grace. - I agree. - No, her in Veronica kind of remind me of Kate McKinnon and like 80 Bryant, like that type of-- - Or like Tina Fey and Maya Rudolph. - Yeah, I mean, sorry, Tina Fey and Amy Pollard. - Yeah, I have a good feeling about what to come. Do you still want to be on SNL? - No, I mean, if they invited me to be on SNL, I'll show it to you. - Okay. - It's not, I mean like that would never-- - Yeah, I would-- - I would open a whole new pipeline of dancing with the SARS SNL. That's a pipeline that hasn't been tapped yet. - Could you imagine how I would feel if there was feedback from a performance on SNL? - No, I actually can't. - I would drive my car off of the Santa Monica. - Yeah, I know that. Best to stay away for now until you're invited on. Speaking of pipelines, did you see the new traders cast? - First of all, so many dancing with the SARS people. Whitney, who else? There was another. - Joey, you guys are there? - Whitney, Joey, I am watching the civilian one. And I'm really loving it and I will apply for that one. - Tony Simpson being on this. - I know. - I know. - And Priscilla Chenoweth.
her season, I'd be following her around like a puppy dog. That's awesome. But I'm so excited. I'm loving the civilian season. Yeah. You should watch. There was something at the round table that was just I need. I need to be what had me screaming at my four inch Samsung. Plasma. But in Oh, and Craig Connover. He's also. I got a really small TV by accident. Really? Yeah. Where? In my in my living room. I've seen your TV. It's not small. I got a new one because my other one broke. He might not have noticed, but it's fairly small. It's not it's like. One step above like Michael Scott's plasma. No. Just in relation to this space. It's like a large mantle space. And the TV doesn't take up much of it. So it just looks very small. Yeah. But I'm excited to watch you on traders. Stop. And I'm going to be on the civilian one at the similar time. So it won't be like an issue of us like. Butting heads on the show. Oh, my gosh. You know? Yeah. We would. We might put heads. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what I don't know who any it. Can I? But I do as some part of me does want to find out. But I do think it's like Raya or like if I keep talking about it, it's not going to happen. So I'm going to stop talking about traders. I don't know who. Other than I like to be on it. Yeah. You do. Chris and Jenna with no. I know. Yeah. Cody Simpson. Yes. I don't know. I know Whitney. I don't know anyone. Yeah. I'm going to go down through the. I'm just going to skim. Bowman, Craig. I'm I'm telling you like that full second row. I do. Oh, Chloe. I do know who worse Chloe. Snowboarder. I don't know. Chloe. Yeah. I feel like this is how it always goes for me though. I only know like a handful because I don't watch reality TV except for dancing with the stars, which is one of my favorite shows. So that's all I would know. That's why I know Whitney. Whitney. And Whitney is the only one I know. And I only know Craig because of your connections to summer house. And I know jelly because of dancing with the stars. And just knowing them. Looking forward to it. I'll be turning in. Yeah. I love traders. There's also so many movies coming out that I'm really excited about Connor. Tell me. I wrote them down my hub. Okay. First of all, the trailer for the Elizabeth Holmes documentary. They put it out this morning. Is that one part where she's like this? Yes. That was like the like trailer teaser, but the full trailer came out this morning. You know, she was breastfeeding when she was doing that. She had a baby. That's why she. The baby didn't do the trailer. Okay. Like I was just like the kind of did her wrong. It looked like she had Parkinson's. Oh, I didn't notice that. She was like this. Oh, she was. Oh, like in that moment, she was breastfeeding. Yeah. Okay. I didn't know that. Did anyone get, did we get any sorry to, I want to go in there? Did we get any feedback about like I texted Brooke after I could be dead wrong. I'm sorry. If this is just the dumbest thing I've ever uttered. But did we get any feedback about like our seemingly hot take about Elizabeth Holmes? Oh, people I think I got 1 DM of someone being like, you don't get it, which is true. And I said the words, I don't get it. So no need. I don't like it. I think I'm pretty much standing my ground. Oh, you know what the problem was. It was not the like investors that she conned, but like the actual like real life people whose data she took. And we're dependent on taking data. Sure. They have it. She took their blood. And like they were like depending on her for treatment that part. Obviously the people that like this was their one stop shop. But what I'm understanding is that like everyone backing this like Walgreens should be held accountable for putting this unfounded business in it before it was founded. You know, like there are so many people at fault besides the one woman who was actively using the money to research. Maybe Nathan will explain this. Yeah. Because she was saying like in the trailer she was like, I did not do anything wrong and like standing on that business. So like maybe she's going to blame Walgreens. And you know, and Nathan will will bring light to that. He's the perfect person to do it. He was asking like questions that like I don't think a neurotypical person would ask like he just has no fear. So I think it'll be really good and it's in theaters. Good for him. Yeah. I'm really excited. Time for a win for Nathan. For once. For once. I'm really excited. Also prime time. What's that? Which is Robert Pattinson. And it's about Chris. Why do I want to say Hansen? Is it Chris Hansen? Chris Hansen who did date line? How to catch a predator? Yes. And so it's that one. So I'm really excited about that. I genuinely think Rob Bert Pattinson. Rob if I may. Yeah. You know him. Is the most talented actor of our generation? Yeah. I would say so. Yeah. I like that. He's like he's the cool goofy. I can't speak from experience. He's the coolest guy in the world. And goofy. Jokes around with me. You guys are but you guys have like your own little language. I know that. And I know that. I just see the way he like jokes around was in day. I like that's cute. That's so that's so us drama. No, I want to really good. Oh. Yeah. God knows I got knows I'm not really. I don't really watch much besides. Take talks. This is going to be really good. Really excited for this. Also Verity. Yeah. Have you heard of that one? And half the way is putting in the work. You won't have to work for 20. No, I really truly think we will not see her and it's going to be like a Meryl Streep thing. She's going to come back and be like, Hey, I'm still here. This book. Like this is something that like everyone has read. And like even the people who are like so mean about calling Hoover. Like have read this book and enjoyed it. Like this book is scary. Like I was scared when I was reading this. What's scary about it? It's a scary book. Basically what it's about is this famous author Verity. And I read this when it came out Verity is a person. I think I read it like maybe like seven years ago that I read this. So take my summary with a grain of salt. But this famous author has an unfinished manuscript and she is in a coma paralyzed. And so her husband hires Dakota Johnson, this new woman to finish her manuscript. And so she finishes the manuscripts in Verity and the husband's home. Verity, meanwhiles in the attic, like in a coma paralyzed. And like the house is like being haunted by this like paralyzed woman. And it's like is she moving? Like is there a ghost? Like what's going on? So like obviously Dakota Johnson starts having an affair with her husband. And like they're being like haunted while that's happening. But then at the same time that that's happening to Dakota Johnson discovers another unfinished piece of writing by Verity who was paralyzed. That was basically like I killed my daughter because they have a dead daughter. And so it's like is that true? Or is that just like fiction? There's like a walk on it. It was very scary. What a fabulous piece of work. Yeah, that sounds really good. It genuinely is entertaining. I do want to say like Dakota Johnson and Ann Hathaway, perfect people. That's a perfect wife in a coma and mistress collab. Completely agree. Ann Hathaway shames she's in a coma. But I guess she's she's moving around like a ghost. Oh, what a shame. You know what? There's going to be flashbacks I bet because in this like additional uncovered manuscript like she I think she's like writing about herself. But it's like issue writing true events or a fictionalized version of events. Dakota Johnson's such a. The casting is pretty damp. Sorry you're in a coma. I'm going to fuck your husband. That is like pretty much someone's going to fuck your husband lady. Your upstairs asleep. Yeah. No, that will be good. Yeah. And then there's this other scary movie called other mommy. Not liking that so far. Have you seen the trick? No, I don't know. So it's Jessica Chastain. I love Jessica Chastain. And the trailer's just heard like blinking in a really scary way. Yeah. And like being upside down and like her head like kind of turning. But basically it's like she has this daughter who keeps seeing another version of her mommy around the house. Other mommy. But this is a book that I read. And the book is called incidents around the house. Other mom and it's about this little girl seeing somebody that she calls other mommy. So other mommy is a pretty good and accurate title change for it. Really, really scary book. The ending was I literally was like this could be like a five star book. I'm like genuinely scared shitless and can't read it for bad ending was so bad that I ended up giving it like two stars because I just ruined the whole book. So I would bet since they changed the title of the book, they're fixing to change the ending as well. So I'm actually really excited to see it because. No, you read scary books. I do read scary books. I like scary books especially when you're reading. Are you like? Oh, I would say it's rare. So it's like I would incidents around the house and Verity worked to where I was like I'm genuinely spooked, but it's hard for me to get genuinely spooked. Because I read a lot of thrillers which aren't like, oh, this is scary. It's more just like what is what will happen next. I'm excited for this twist. These two were actually like, oh, that I'm spooked. Okay. If you want to read spooky books for for Halloween.
for Halloween, but unfortunately incidents around the house, which is other mommy, like really, it bungled at the end. They really messed it up by the, I mean, the author unfortunately, even though he's one of my favorite authors, he wrote Bird Box, which was such a good book, Josh Mallerman. Like this is, it was such a good book, and then the ending just like didn't work for me, 'cause writing is subjective. But yeah, those are two really scary books. If you're interested in reading some scary books, you'll never spooky season, which I'm sure you're not. - Try to read the damn salt book still, so whoever, I'm gonna read it, I'm gonna read it, 'cause I'm gonna be spewing facts about salt. It's called a history of salt. - I just like, okay. - It's like kind of interesting. I wish I could repeat some of the things that I read, but unfortunately that's just not in my mind. - But if the whole point is like, you wanted to spot facts about salt, and you can't even repeat what you've read so far, like it doesn't bowed well, just put it down. - With love, you know I have so much respect for you, and I'm so proud of you. - Sorry, 484 pages? Oh, wow. - Do you not own it? - Oh, what? Oh, I own it. - Okay, you didn't see how long it was? - I try not to look. - I'm like, so anti-U reading salt, a world history. - Well, basically salt is good for you. - No, I know that. So that's one takeaway that I have, and it had become like salt of the earth is a saying, salt can be used many ways, and it's been around forever. - Do they talk about how it like got a bad reputation at some point? - I'm not there yet, I'm excited for that. - But I've said it. - Said it for the twist. - They will speak about that. - I think Tanner was talking about like, when he's watching something, he was talking about like, when he is watching or reading something that has happened, like it's not an historical fiction, it's actually a story that happened in the past, and he gets to the big thing. He's like, "Oh, what?" Like when OJ put on the glove and it didn't fit into it. - Yeah. - Huh? You know, when salt, when they get around to salt, then deciding salt is bad for you, I'm gonna be like, "No, it's not salt." - Well, I don't even know if that's something that Mark Curlant ski will be covering. It was just something I was asking you about as the expert. - Well, I'm looking for-- - Is that Mark Curlant ski? - No, he's the young man. This is the young man that made the book famous, 'cause this is what I saw. And I really thought this was coming across my desk as like someone who reads books that aren't enjoyable. - Oh, that's actually Mark Curlant ski. - Ooh, Brooke. - I like him. - You know what my favorite compliment is? - What? - You're being so funny. - From me or from anyone? - Just anyone? - Yeah. - Someone said it yesterday and I was like, "I get bones, bones." - Yeah. - You are, you haven't been really funny recently. - That was just like something that I was thinking about. - Yeah, I like that compliment too. - Did you see Harry Styles is doing a tour in? Did you see who his openers are? - Yeah, I did. - Did you see who his openers are? - Yeah, do I forget? - This was like a shift for me in like understanding where like how big certain people are. Can we-- - Go Kylie Minogue as the one for here. - I'm gonna go to Rome. - What's in Rome? - LCD Sound System. - Yeah, I guess these are like not people that I know super well. - And like, you know, no offense to some of these folks, but like LCD Sound System in Tanashe, like-- - Is Laney Wilson-- - Laney Wilson's big in country. - Yeah, doesn't he have a band? - She. - Oh, I don't know Laney Wilson then. I was thinking of someone else. I was thinking of Catboy in LA. What's that, who's that? Laney, Laney? - Laney, yeah. - Okay, genuinely my mistake. - Laney Wilson is I got a hard lack, the truck that's been drawn through the mud. - I don't know that. - Sounds good, though. - Easy to remember. - Okay, well, it was really nice talking, though. - Yeah, it was great to talk to you. I don't like really, so many's happening to my memory recently where I'm just like, I kinda don't know, you know what we talked about besides-- - Best to forget. - Okay, well, your guys are welcome to join us in the bonus. I know we had a lot of signups, but oh, I guess the merch is out. Our merch is out from last week. - Shout out to the young woman on TikTok, like kind of coined that joke. That was really smart, and we just took it and ran with it. Your merch is on your way, my love. - Yes, and we have her name, and it's-- - I have everything, yeah, yeah, yeah. - So shout out to her, thanks Molly. Thanks for doing that, and welcome to all the new people. And if you're watching next week, the answer to the stars, if you'll have me next week, looking forward to seeing you. - I feel like I'm gonna watch. - You think you will, oh, that'll be fun. And if you like an adventure, to 2-1-N, it's adventure time. - Love you. - Love you, bye. - This week, I'm close friends. - No, I'm thankful for those two things. - Why do I keep choking today? - Could be a few different things. - Do you remember that one? - Nope. - Oh, no. - And then I don't believe your eye. - I hate that one. - If I was friends with Hannah Montana, and I had like two drinks, I'd be like, wait, I had to tell you something.
