Godfluence: Making Your Net Work- Pst Kenneth Olusanya

This teaching emphasizes the Christian's urgent responsibility to share the gospel within their sphere of influence, framing failure to do so as a serious spiritual omission. It advocates for a practical approach that balances passionate conviction with respectful and sensible engagement, avoiding methods that might alienate others. The speaker outlines a two-part framework for effective evangelism. First, prioritizing prayer ("knees before feet") is essential, as demonstrated by Jesus praying all night before choosing his disciples; spiritual groundwork through prayer is deemed critical for success. Second, one must "be attractive" by living a life that authentically reflects the gospel's transformative power, as a congruent character often speaks louder than words. The overall message is that fulfilling the Great Commission is the core purpose of the church and every believer, requiring both divine dependence through prayer and a credible, compassionate witness through daily life.
Hey, welcome! You're about to listen to a teaching by Kenneth OluSoya, lead pastor of the Vinified Church. Beyond listening, get set to put these words to action. See yourself grow exponentially as you have your hearts awakened to the finished works of Christ with powerful simplicity. Are you ready? Let's go! I think this is one of the most practical teachings I will ever not sure, but it will be one of them. One of the most practical teachings ever. If you've ever wondered how can you boldly share your faith to the people in your sphere of influence in the most practical ways, this is that teaching for you. And the good part is that it's inescapable. We've all been commissioned to do this thing to reconcile the world to God. There's no escape. It's for all of us. And so if at all we must do it, then we might as well learn how to do it the right way, isn't it? So let's start with this scripture. Acts chapter 20. Acts chapter 20 from verse 25. Are you with your Bibles? Are you with your right in Materials? I really do hope you are. Please, if you didn't come with the intention to write, just try just because I'm begging. Just try to write somewhere so you don't forget things that have been said. We're going to read from verse 25. I'll read from the NLT actually. I think it's going to help me explain this better. NLT. Now this is Paul speaking. I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me. Again, this is this is heartbreaking stuff. Before he goes to Ephesus again, he's talking to this people here and he say, look, many of you who have preached to you're never going to see me again. And he had a premonition. He knew that as he's going to Jerusalem, he'll be bound, arrested, probably killed by the Romans. And so he said, you might never see me again. You most likely won't see me again. But this is what he's saying. I've spent time with you. Now, with verse 26, therefore, I declare to you today. Right? What does he say that I am innocent of the blood of any of you? Why would he say something like that? Why would you say I'm innocent of the blood of you guys? Like, what does that mean? Verse 27, he explains, what does he say? For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will, the whole council of God. If we were to flip it the other way, what would he be saying? How does a person become guilty of the blood of people? When they do not proclaim the whole council of God to them, it means that possibly some of us have blood on our hands. And we don't recognize it yet. We have blood on our hands, we're guilty of the blood of people because we've failed to let them know what they can do for a good healthy eternal destiny in God. If not told, then what it takes to be rescued from the path they're on, they're on the pathway, the highway to hell. There's done nothing about it. But I mean, I envy Paul. I don't think, even as I am here, as a pastor, I can say this boldly that I'm innocent of the blood of everyone I have encountered in my lifetime. I don't think so. The time I was reading this scripture, and immediately some names started to pop out. Some of my uncles came up. And I said, you know what? I must be innocent of the blood of everyone. I wanted to go after the other by the time I went to the festival, I said, okay, yeah, I see why. I did not do this. My uncle just attacked, went for the juggler. He used to be an atheist anyways. At least now he's questioning. He's open. We're having more conversations. But I was like, okay, I see why I did not enter this space. That way, on Thursday, I'll teach you how to be a farm's up. How to influence your family, basically, for the sake of the gospel. I'm going to teach you that. So that would be more specific. But for this one, it really, this keeps me up at night. Like, there are people probably in my life that never know about my faith. That maybe I was too busy or too scared or not conscious enough to say, this is what I believe. I want you to believe the same. Come forget the story of Pastor Young-hee Cho of South Korea and Seoul. There's this lady who would go to where he was when he lived as a apartment and preach to him and preach to him. And preach, he's like, oh my goodness. By the way, if you don't know Pastor Young-hee Cho, at the time, he used to be the pastor who had the largest congregation in the world in a single place. I must say in a little bit like in a single gathering, biggest building, biggest church in the world. Now before he got saved, there was this lady who was always pestering him. And he got to a point where she was, I mean, just telling him come to my church, Jesus loves you one day out of nowhere spontaneously. He just started to cry, yeah! Please! I beg you, Young-hee, please! Believe me, Jesus! Jesus can't save you, please! I'm not trying to scare you! And she was weeping and crying. And he's like, okay, this looks serious. And he said, if there's anything you will do, just take this Bible in my hand. Just take this Bible in your hand. And you'll see it for yourself. What did this man do? He said, if this thing is as serious with this intensity, there's something that she's not asking for money. She's not asking for, she's spending her time consistently to make me believe something she believes. It must be serious. He carried the Bible and studied from the book of Matthew and studied to read, as he read the conviction of the Spirit, he did him strong. He went to her church, got the disciples, and after many years started his own church. The gospel is that serious. And I think she carried that perspective. I cannot meet this man that I experienced, this Uber driver, this bull driver, this classmate, this person I was contacted in secondary school, and they don't know where I stand now. And they've never heard me speak. Forgive me if I've never told you the gospel. Forgive me. Because that's wickedness. What we can do better. And there are practical ways to influence people for the gospel without being obnoxious. Without being, I know that some of you might listen to that story about this lady who preached to young Gichou, I'm like, that's too intense. I don't want to be that guy who, by the way, this has happened. I know it was a time where I saw a family who was a picnic and was a guy who went on a date with his babe. They were on it, on the mats, having fun, just trying to feed in yourselves with grapes, all this romantic stuff. And then I saw someone pass by them. I was just watching, just saying maybe they know the guy, but they looked like they didn't know him. And I think he just sat down on the mats, or they're picking a set of preach to them. Now one perspective is like this guy understands the urgency of the gospel. Everyone he meets must hear this gospel. On the other hand, he bro, is a time up place. That is obnoxious. Probably this guy's been on this girl's matashifali. I agreed you spoiled you. Very first date, how dare you? But how can we do both bring an urgency and intensity, but also be sensible, respectful, be loving, be practical in our dispensation? That's what the teaching is all about. Are you ready to learn? But I want that by the time your life is coming to an end, or whether you die or you fly, no, that's all. That's the only way. Well, okay, like, whether we die or fly, we're good. But at the time where your life is coming to its conclusion, would you be able to make the statement? I can guarantee you, Lord, my Savior, I'm innocent of the blood of every man and woman in my life because I did not shun, I did not withhold, I did not hesitate to proclaim to them the whole council of your will. I told them about the gospel, I told them about the love of my soul, I preached to them without being a coward, I spoke to them with my life, with my words, with my actions. Would that be you? Do you think it's possible? It is. It is. It is. That everyone within the sphere of your influence feels the intensity of your faith. It is possible and it is demanded. Praise the name of the Lord. And this is why we're having this teaching because I think one of the most effective ways to judge a healthy church is how well they fulfill the great commission. This is our purpose not to have lights, not to have air condition as much as we need it desperately. We do it!
needed. As much as we want the sound and the light, this is great stuff. But we have no purpose. We have no meaning. It's all activity if we are not pursuing the great commission. This is what we are born to do. To be disciple and raise disciples. This is our purpose. To know him and make him known. This is our purpose. And if we are not doing this, we are wasting time. And Jesus will just be at our door. You think he is a new first time man. And Jesus is knocking on the door. Let me in. You have missed the purpose of church. You gathered together but I am not there. My gospel, my sacrifice means nothing. It's optional. It's secondary. It's an opinion. It's a suggestion to you. Not a commission. There's a problem there. Praise the Lord. It will do better. One way to prove that you are truly unashamed of the gospel. It's how extensive the gospel has had its mark in your circle of influence, your spheres of influence. How well do people in your life know where you stand? That's how you know how unashamed of the gospel you are. Praise the Lord. So the framework I want to give us on how to make our network. By the way, that's the title of this teaching. Making your network. And I mean it in two ways. Like you are building a network, making your network. But you are also making your network. Because Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew chapter 4 verse 19, it said Jesus called out to them. It said come follow me and I will what? I will make you fishers of men. I will show you how to fish for people. In your day job, you fish for fish. You catch fish. You let down your net to bring fish. I will show you just how to use that platform to bring people to me. To catch fish. To make your net work. And all that I will do is use the example of our Lord Jesus Christ to help you see how just effective it can be. He thinks it's a good example of this. He didn't just instruct us. He played the part. He did the work. He embraced those who had lost. Truly have compassion on them. Love those and et with those who had called sin as he gave us the prescription. He choked them with love. He also spoke with authority. And we are going to talk about how to go about it. Number one, the first thing I was saying in making your net work is knees before feet. Knees before feet. Knees before feet. Jesus showed us an example. He was about to start his ministry. He was 30 years old. About to start just so you know if you are 30 or over 30, you are still good on time. I hear what I am saying. Watch come out of your life such an age. Jesus started his ministry at this point. And he was going to need help. He was going to need a net work. What does the Bible say he did? Luke chapter 16 from verse 12 to 13 says now he came to pass in those days that he went out to the mountain to pray. And he did what? Continued all night in prayer to God. This can show you to an extent the intensity of the decisions he was about to make. The next step he was about to make was about to raise disciples. He spent all night praying about this. And then what happened next verse 13? And when it was day he called the disciples to himself. And from those he chose 12 whom he named apostles. He went to charge his powder. Like so that's the call. And I was like, oh yeah, follow me. What? And then follow me. I'm joking. He did something important. He was about to raise disciples. He knew that before strategy must come spiritual empowerment. Before you want to go on your feet and preach the gospel. Go on your knees. Pray to God. There are people Lord in my heart in my life that needs to know you. Some of you you talk about how much you want to preach to someone or convince them my question to you first would be how well have you prayed? How much investment have you made in prayer for this person? Have you done enough? Have you done an all night for one person? There's no other way. I put this on my status and I'm just thinking about it. I'm like, I know a couple of evangelists in my life and people are passionate about spreading the gospel. And I just feel it's counterproductive and counterintuitive that you are an evangelist and you don't pray. How would you get the work done? How would it be done? Even in the execution of the greatest gifts in the world, we utterly depend on God's ability in the proclamation of it. Because we have frail. We have weak. How can God entrust the biggest gift in the world to frail weak imperfect men and women like God's. We need His help. There's something prayer does. It paves the way. It breaks down the walls. It makes people more receptive. Pray for them. Pray for them as many people as I comment to your mind now. Make it prayer list. Pray for them. Lord, this one must be saved. This one must be saved. I can tell you categorically. I may believe I because my prayer is prayed. I can tell you that for a fact. As young as I was five years old, I can't forget. I've told you many times. I walk past those dedicated prayer room in our house every house. Even if it was a storage closet, there's always a room for prayer. I love that. I went past. I remember I was six, seven. There about five, six, seven. I passed around this part of the house. I was just hearing my dance voice. I was like, what is that? What is going on? I was just hearing. I don't know why. I don't know what he was trying to say. I don't know. When you talk to my brother, say, I'll tell me this well with you. It is good with you. You will talk to me. I said, okay, nice. I need that. I need that. I pray. I'm sure. And what I am because of that, I'm not going to lie to you. There's something about prayer. There's something about it. Our ministry will only be effective as a church if we pray. We have to stay and pray to make a way so they don't stray. Pray is the Lord. I'm serious. This is the foundation. Look at this. Romans 1.9. This is what Paul says. For God is my witness whom I serve with my spirit. He's saying this. Now, some of us cannot make this statement. Because if I ask you, everybody you've told in your life, oh my goodness, I'll be praying for you. Have you prayed for them? Can you say God is my witness? Everybody I said, I'll pray for you. I prayed for them. If that's you, lift up your hands now. There's no, there's no 80%. Look at what this is. God is my witness whom I serve by 80% of the times. In recent times, lift up your hands. Hi, God. We think 25 to 26. Everybody said you pray for okay, that's good. We know we have too quick to say yes. 26, 26, 26. If you are a dream, but this is what Paul is saying, God is like not Banabbas, not Timothy. God who sees all is my witness that I do not cease to make mention of you in my prayers always. This is not one of prayers. This is the people he knew where response he was responsible for in his fear of influence. I never stop praying for you always. I wish I could say this about this church. I love you guys so much, but I can't boast like this yet. I pray for you every day, but I can't say always as part of the same frequency every time. I can't, I don't know. I can't do that yet. But this is something I aspire to because there's no other way. You can, I can't stand here and preach every Sunday if I'm not praying for you is useless. It's meaningless. I promise you, it's said by the mercy of God. Praise the name of Jesus. This must be us. Can you do something for me? Just write down three people that have come to mind that you need to pray for. Just write them down. Three. Three people that come to mind. Colleagues, family members, before you met on social media, before you met randomly in some place in some organization that somehow there was something you had this person needs to know the Lord. Just write their name down. Old friends, you know, from before, maybe business partners, clients,
anything. Just write three people down. Are you done? Are you done? Fantastic. So number one is new. I'm sorry, knees before feet, right? Number two, be attractive. Be attractive. Be attractive. The truth about the mata is your life often speaks before your lips do. In many cases, your life often speaks before your lips gets to speak. And so in many ways people have said this, you're the only Bible people will see. And I get what they're trying to say. There's just something about your lifestyle that makes what you see attractive. When there's a contradiction to what you're saying and how you're living, it sends mixed messages. You understand what I'm saying? So you miss the mix sense that you look the part. And I can tell you the best example would ever have shouts of blessing door. It's raining. Yes. The best. Some of you are like, hey, I should have hung that. I should have moved out through to the line. No worry. It's good. You're okay. What was I saying now? What was I saying? Oh, this is strange. Hey, yes, your life was mirror. What you say and your faith. And Jesus Christ is a best example for that. He is a man of humility, a man of compassion. Wherever he, like, can people sense the compassion oozing out of you? That you're really love. You really care. I see it. If it is true that there was someone compassionate enough to save you, I see it because you're also looking like him. We forget that our character is in many ways also a proclamation of the gospel. It's proof the gospel has its effect in your life. It's proof that there's been a change. So you must be attractive. You must be attractive. Must be attractive. By how you live, what you do, praise name of Jesus. A simple way to practice this is just serving people. Like, maybe someone has a difficult time. You show up for them in that difficult time. It's part of it. Or you're mentoring someone trying to help them. Someone who you've gone ahead of is part of it. Someone sometimes to be honest with you, I mean, this one needs caution. But there are some times that before you will start to talk about anything gospel. First, clear the presence. I die. It's blurry. They've not drunk. What are sense? They've not, they've not eaten food. Let me give you an example. As a time I ordered food from, I won't mention the name. I don't want to do free advertisement, advertisement. So I ordered food from this food e-commerce store and the writer came to the house. I went, I was about to give my pen and I was like, hmm. Don't mean this to me about something about the person. I just said, hi. Just so so so. Is this happening with your family? And it was looking at me like, yes, that's that's trouble my mom. I said, okay, how many siblings you have, two, right? He said, yes, boy girl. Yes. I said, what about this? What about it? It was just adding up. But I noticed that as we're talking, the announcement was flowing, the word of K was flowing. But I was just going to be like, hmm, it's true. I said, just hold on. I wanted to get to me bottle of water. Cold water. I said, take this chew water. Sit down. No, no, I know you have another right. Just sit down, drink it. And then he drank it. He could see I gave him some money. We talked about faith just for a while. As he was about to leave, he now told me, he said, by the way, I know you. I said, how? He said, you have that better banner in this place that he wants came to the church downstairs there. So he knows he knows me. Just didn't want to say it at the beginning. I'm like, Ha, that's scary stuff. So imagine he had caught, clearly looked like he was about to faint. He was trying to deliver and I just walked up, hey, faint, 2000 and 4, 2o, yes, 2o, 0, 4, peace. What else you want? Please, please, please. And I just treated him badly. What's the story going to be? That fast. Yeah. Be the same person you are outside, at your inside. I didn't need to put it to minister to him. Just simple kindness, simple, like just honest, I could have easily felt I've done well. I gave what of K, what do you mean? Take it. It's a bless your life. Go on in peace. What's he was hungry? I hear what I'm saying. Those acts of kindness go a long way. If someone now starts every time, they need, they need, hey, you understand? There's a discipline, there's a wisdom to it. It's not encouraged but behavior. But as far as I can say, Jesus looked at these people who were following him. He saw the way hungry, they followed him for three days and he fed them. It's a supernatural. But just be attractive. Like if every believer in the world were like you, will we be safe? If every believer in the world were like you, with a gospel thrive and prosper, every believer in the world were like you, who Jesus be pleased and be praised and be glorified. What's the answer? Do you have an answer to that question? We're just just unsighting your head. But it's important that we serve people like Jesus did. He watched their feet. He served them. He loved them. I mean, we must do the same. Number three, what's number one? Means before feet, number two? Be attractive. Number three. Feed it. Don't force it. Feed it. Don't force it. What I'm talking about is feed the conversations. Don't force them. Your conversations should be done relationally, not religiously. It should flow naturally. Some of us, the reason why people don't even want to listen to you is because the first thing you say when you meet them is, "Hi, good morning." You don't even say a good morning. Peace be unto you. Shalom, Shalom. Jesus loves you. He loves you. He died for you. If you don't believe you'll go to hell, do you believe? Have you preached the gospel maybe kind of? Is it effective? No. Because if you start to treat people as actual human beings, maybe you'll be more effective as an evangelist. It starts to actually relate to people in a human level, have genuine conversations and lead those conversations in a spiritual direction. Just maybe you become more effective. See, this kind of teaching series, maybe the evangelists would love it. But I want to encourage you. All of us in many ways are evangelists. I mean, call to do the work of an evangelist in our circles of influence. This is important. Amen. Please, if you're using your shades in these glasses, I just want to check if you're still with me. Just everybody open it. Some of you look like you didn't sleep yesterday. Praise the Lord. So it's very important that our conversations are very genuine and natural. So I simple as this. I'll give you some good conversation status. Don't worry. Just things you can apply and I promise you every time it works. You're going to start this conversations and lead it into a healthy place for the Lord. What make you know, mistake, people are more receptive when you are relatable, when you are honest, you are transparent, where you're letting it flow. I know you came there to preach the gospel, but ask some questions. Get to know them. They're not projects. They are people. So let me give you some examples. Some good conversation status. I'll give you some of my examples as we go on. So in terms of purpose, right? And before I even talk about this, we see Jesus do this a lot. Right? From everyday stuff, you are talking about bread and from nowhere, he says, if you eat of my flesh and drink of my blood, of course, it's like his people run away. But he was using everyday stuff to explain this to them. A woman came to fetch water, they were, what did you do? He said, I tell you, I have water that you would drink and you would test them. In our mind, he was thinking there was an actual well like that of eternal water. But he was using that to liken to something else. All he's in a field, he's seen vegetation. And he says, you know, the kingdom of God is like the soah, who soars a seed. And he uses normal things to explain deeper spiritual truths. And that's something we can leverage. We can have people share things with us and just weave those conversations and show them what beautiful thing the gospel has done in your life. So let's give it context. Let's talk about purpose. This is what you can do. You're having a conversation with a colleague, you're having a conversation with a friend, and you get to your point where you just ask this question and say, do you ever think about what your purpose in life is? I simple as that. Like I mean, what is your purpose? Like, do you know what you're here for? What is your purpose in life? Really? It gives
Give them something to think about. Some people will tell you some ideas, will tell you, I think I was meant to change the world. Oh, how? How do you change the world? You see, I'm really heavy in planets green. I want to make sure the Earth is healthy. I want to make sure we reach zero carbon emissions by 2013. I want to do-- and you just see that this person is very now focused, very earth-centric, and there's nothing wrong with saving the planet. But this planet will not be saved at the end. It's not going to be. And so you just say, OK, but again, even scientifically, it is proven that the Earth will stop to exist in a couple of years, of course, the same millions of years. But it's going to stop existing at a point. We all know it's scientifically proven. So what happens after you've invested all these things in the Earth now is then more to this Earth, is then more to the life now than that. And could it be that purpose is more transcendent? Are you hearing what I'm saying? So that's a good conversation starter. Or what are the most important things to you? Here, what they have to say. And just try to understand how temporary are these things that are important. Can you help them navigate from a place where things are temporary? And start to say there are things that are more permanent, more eternal. Do you get it? Have you ever thought what happens? Then you go for the juggler. Have you ever thought about what happens beyond this life? I don't mean to scare you or bring this conversation to a gloomy place. But have you ever actually considered what happens when you die? When you do that, you are bringing people into a reality check. That way too, perhaps there's more to this life that I don't even know. I don't have answers to these questions. I've postponed my questions for the future. But you can help them with some answers now that literally shape the rest of their future. Let's give another example. Maybe you're talking about things like stress. And you can just ask-- see, because one thing I've noticed is that when you start talking about stress, stress is related with the notes. It's very relatable. I've seen people open up in the most unconventional way when you start to talk about stress and struggle. And so some questions you can ask are things-- what helps you stay grounded when life gets overwhelming? When life gets overwhelming, what actually keeps you grounded? Where do you usually find peace? When things are stressful, how do you deal with difficult seasons in your life? And for some people, they deal with it with alcohol and abusing drugs and temporary fixes. Nothing more permanent. Nothing more stable. And so in this conversation, you're trying to understand how do people really have an anchor even in this life? Have you heard all these memes that go around like, how can you do life without Jesus? And it's just the reality of like, how? How are you doing it without a present help in time of need? And so these conversations help you get people to be in a place where they truly want to unpack. This is how life is. And this is how I cope with life. When you're giving them help, you're giving them help. You're showing them there's someone who is the prince of peace. He brings peace to the most chaotic storms. He brings calm. He anchors our soul. Another way is through just some chipping and some stories in there. I'll give you an example. So imagine you said this. Like, did you just talking about, oh, what's happening with you recently? What's been happening in your life? And then someone, you just say, oh, see, something happened recently that really strengthened my faith. And you just go on with that. You start to talk about your faith. Unprovoked. And especially, actually, what happened to you in your life? What's happening in your life recently? Yeah. Something strengthened my faith. What was that thing? You talk about it. Or something. Or you can even say this. I used to think differently about God until something changed my perspective. My perspective about God and the world will live in exchange. And personally, as a God, which God, what are you talking about? And you start to unpack. You start to share. And it's your story. And we'll talk about this in a separate point, right? And then probably in a separate point, two points from here. On the power of a personal testimony, it's powerful. You can argue all you want with facts and science and numbers. But it's somewhat this story. And someone's lived the experience. There's a limit to how much you can argue it. You hear what I just said? It's powerful. So these are very simple ways to start this conversation. Don't force it. Don't rush it. If all you do in that first one was build some level of trust, in that first engagements to the person, start there. And then hopefully you have another time you set to meet the person, to talk to them, to interact, and get to know them as human beings. And navigate those conversations to a spiritual direction. Raise the name of the Lord. Number four. Number four. And by the way, there are sometimes-- let me just put it as a disclaimer. I know I made this down all simple and nice. But sometimes where those conversations might get heated. Sometimes it gets hot and heavy. And you need to be able to calm the fact, the way you can calm the situation, proves how attractive your faith can be. Because I remember back in school, there were some people that would argue, believe us. And before I know it, someone is climbing desk. Don't you know Jesus is Lord. I know. Put me in the river. Are you a South A? Someone walks in on you. How does that look? Make no mistake. Bible said Paul argued with people who-- I hope you know-- said he reasoned. Not places he debated. But three sabbaths for this. It's part of it. But how you reflect love regardless is important. Raise the name of Jesus. Compassion was shined through in our conversations every time. What was number one? We fight church. What was number one? Number two. Number three. Number four. Host. Don't ghost. Host. Don't ghost. This is one of the most-- I tell you by far one of the most effective gospel strategies, historically. A lot of conversions happened house to house. I hope you know. When the silence, Peter, and John, and flocked them, and told them, don't ever preach the name of Jesus. What did they do? They went house to house. And as it did, invited people to their own community to fellowship with them, to break bread, and to continue their apostles doctrines. It was the templates. But there's something powerful about hosting people. It's embedded in our gospel, embedded in our Christian culture. I'll give you an example of what this can look like. So when we moved to Dubai-- and interestingly, I didn't learn this from anywhere else, but TV. And what it was from Hollywood movies I learned since-- we had just moved to this place. And that community had a lot of Indians, Lebanese people, and all of that beautiful gardens, very lovely place. And we got in-- settled there. I was like, I told Peter, I was like, I think we should get to know our neighbors. Let's get to chat with them. We got to know some of them first before some others. But then went to a particular house. It had three kids. It's a lovely woman, a great man, just all of great family. I mean, went with some-- I think we're going to some cupcakes. Then we went with some non-bread and butter chicken. And so we parked all of that. Just say, hey, we're new in the neighborhood. We just wanted to say, hey, say, oh, great, please come in. And then we came in. We said to talk. And as God used to do it, it just-- what of knowledge just popping through. And it solidified a good relationship. Another person in the neighborhood is same thing, invitational culture. We still talk till today, went to their house. Like there's something about people being invited into your home first. They feel like you trust them. Then let them know that maybe perhaps you can also be trusted. As simple as this. So someone in my office also in Dubai, same thing. It's not something-- no, you tell me. In Nigeria, how often do you tell someone, hey, can we go grab a coffee like-- call what? I rather go for a chickpeas. If it's chickpeas, no problem. Let's do a chickpeas. I'm a la-- no. I'm a lazer, a tool of darkness. This is in the color. Isn't it color? Wait. [MUSIC PLAYING] Hey, come on. Come on, please. Hey, I'm a lazer. You want to use that as a bit? With every one, big hearing. To be fair, let me confess now. I actually like Amal. I like Amal. Not more than pounded down, but I like Amal. What I have to choose, light of darkness, this is obvious, but I like it, it's fine. If that's what you're into, Amal, it's fine. As long as it can win souls. If you don't know, win souls stop it.
I'm joking. But like, as simple as this, I just went to her, she's Egyptian. I was like, "Hey, I know you love coffee a lot." Like, "Oh, don't even start with me on that Kenneth." And I'm like, "Yeah, let's go for a coffee date." Like, "Really?" I said, "Yes." "Anywhere you want?" "Really?" I said, "Yes, let's go." "Beautiful me." I said the time, I said, "Talking." She said, "Talking about some Egyptian gods, some all of that." And then me too, I said, "There's an unknown god." Because she talked about one god that's connected to Ra. I said, "I know that god." Let me explain it to him. He's the one actually who is bigger than Ra. Historically, there were plagues in your land. We had about, he said, "Well, we can't really verify some of the stories are lost in translation." And I said, "But did he have food?" I didn't say it like that, but I said, "No, I think it happened." There was a god who defeated Ferris. I said, "We've heard about it and all of that." I said, "Yes." "Are you curious to know who that god is?" I said, "Can I come for coffee date, though?" I said, "I know." It's just uncomfortable for you. Like, "No, it's fine. You can share what you want." And she came to church. I'm very hard to well of life. She came. She saw, "I don't know if she's still there now. I hope so." Well, at least I did something. She gave what I'm saying. Like, that does a lot. Just bringing people into your space. You might not have, of course, carefully, especially if you're a lady. Please. But it's important that we include people. We host. And then some of you, you started the first time, but you actually go as the last time we hear from you. You have the Holy Ghost, though. And that's not what he was for. His wound that remains. He's still there. If Williamsburg did like you, you have a present helping time of need. Okay. Sorry. Forgive me. It's my fault. Like, just that level of hospitality and including people will go a long way. Something happened recently. And I was very intrigued by this. It's not really about hosting, but this is just about being intentional in our outreach. There was something that myself and Derek did back on campus. Derek is not here still seeking harvest. And not so harvest. If you know, you know. And then we did something else. Like, how can we, this Valentine season, how can we make people feel not just romantic love, but the true love of God. And so we said to do something called love letters from heaven or love letters from God. This thing was so effective that just general show you the picture just January what 24. Someone put these two letters, letter three and letter five and letter seven. Said my wife kept it since when she was giving back in CU. Give this thing 2017. Thereabouts. I think thereabouts plus two now. What is it? What? What's on the 19th? It's in thereabouts. That's how many years. It's years. It still has them. Both of them. I don't know how she asked to share, but she has two of them. Well, I can't. In Park's first off, she's not the only one. Like, there's just, there's just an intentionality that must go with your presentation of the gospel. Let people know that you went the extra mile in your presentation of the gospel. You did something more than the expectation. It means a lot to people. So get creative. Think of something. There's someone I know that this is what they love. How can I, they love going to the movies. Let me take them to the movies. They love playing this video game. That's what I did with my name. I hope it's not streaming. Hey. With somebody I know. I just knew that we need to connect. Someone in the neighborhood. And there was a public holiday. I was like, bro, come over to the house. I have FIFA 20. I want to tell you what I have. You know, think about it. I have FIFA something. Come around. Let's play. I'm a set up plane. And I was just like, God, how this is what I was like, God, how do I, how do we move from FIFA to gospel? How do we do it? Lord, help me. Guess what happened. It's too late. So let's say, this is like, just like that. It reminds me of when God said, let it be light and that was light. And I don't know how that came. I just came from there. We went outside. We said, talking. I just preached the gospel. My body was looking at me like this. After we were done, he didn't believe everything I said, but he said, can you pray for me? That's what he said. Like if this was what you're saying is true, I'm at least open to knowing. Can you pray for me? Now, I mean, he has an Islamic background. For every time he asks for prayers or he will say, when you're going to church, remember me. I'll come to church one of these days. There's that openness now. It's happening. He watches our excerpts. He follows us on Instagram. This is how it works. Do you get what I'm saying? It's very practical. I don't every Christmas holiday. I don't miss an opportunity to give him and his wife. He just had a child recently. I don't know about every other person that gives them, but I know. At least 30% of their house is stocked up with baby wives. And they're going to be a couple of times and pump us. Christmas came. People damn stuff. You just thought about you and your family. We love you guys. Here's a gift to you. It's not, it's not let them listen to what you have to say. I hear what I'm not trying to say that we use the bits, the wrong bits to attract them. No, but the bit at the core is love and compassion, which is materialized. And so we need to keep that in the front every time. These are people and they deserve every investment if it brings their soul to the Lord. If there's anything Westerners get right, it's hospitality. If you watch those movies, oh, hi, we just got to pick up a pot, pot, chicken pot, pot. And all in the neighborhood, we'd like to say a big welcome. Oh, he'll be right here in the south. Always been great. We also have like steak and brisket. And we like to get some. Oh, honey, oh, yeah, we just move back to neighborhood. We went back in Ohio and we just back here now. And then you just have the whole conversation. I see if you've known each other for years. A simple ask that even if you don't have a conversation and you just come, I brought a cupcake for you. Welcome to the neighborhood. First, if you do that, I will not collect that strange. It was giving Wednesday. But you come and say, "Hi, it's good to have you blah blah blah." Even if the mood's enabled five years ago, it's fine. I just noticed that we've been here all this while we've never connected. I just like to know more about you. It's important hosts, don'ts. Don'ts. Aha, praise the name of the Lord. Number five. Number five. Share your testimony. People can debate theology. They can argue philosophy. But they will argue to struggle with your story. That's a fact. That's a fact. If you tell someone, see, I was overwhelmed in worship and I said to float on the air and levitate. You can't say it. What happens or not is your lived experience. It could be true. It might not be true. So this is how the gospel impact. People can debate. See, do you realize how serious it is? People can debate God's existence. And there's a way you respond to that debate that maybe shows, do you really believe God exists? Because there's an approach to it. If someone is the topic of debate is does pastochism exist? I'm like saying, you know, you see there are some technological reasons why pastochism exists. Have you seen the design of this human? Have you seen God exists? You see, I could do all of that. I could say, oh, there's a cosmological reason, an ontological reason. And do all the guys at the end of the day, do I have personal relationship with this person or not? I do. And that testimony is powerful enough. Do you hear what I'm saying? Some of us argue God's existence is if he's not a person, you don't know him. There's no relationship. If someone says pastochism doesn't exist, I would say you are very foolish. That's why the right of the proverb says it, right? The one who says there's no God is there. Aha. There's personal relationship. I know this person. You're not saying that, yes, he's not around. She's not in touch, but she exists somewhere in the world. She does. So your personal testimony is powerful, but the problem sometimes is that some of you are not even cland on what the testimony in your life is. I mean in two ways. One way is that just maybe you've not invested yourself fully in the faith. You're not fully committed. You're still on defense. And so your profiting is not really appearing because you keep going back in the same cycles. That's one side of it. The second side of it is this. Maybe in a lot of your life you've played church too much. And you've not really understood the core of salvation. Like if I ask you, when did you get saved? I've always been saved. How did you get to know the Lord? I've always known the Lord for my youth. And maybe that's true. But was there a significant reason?
"Kind of life, you recognize where you sin, in need of the savior, believe that Jesus died, was buried and was raised for your justification, put faith in him, and decided to follow him all the days of your life." What point was that you don't need to know the date, the time, the geographical coordinates, we don't need those details. What was there a point in your life, where it all changed, where you moved from darkness into light? It's part of the testimony. Maybe if you don't have a definitive point like that, maybe you want to explore someone and check, is my faith really short. Examine yourself to see if you're still in the faith. If you even believed in the first place, it's very important. I'm not saying this to cause you to doubt your salvation if you're truly saved, but it has to have been a moment, where it all changed. Praise the name of the Lord, but that testimony, if people need, you don't realize how much people need to know what you know, desperately. The problem is that they might not just know it yet, but they need to know what you know. Praise the Lord, who were you in the past? What did Christ change? How is your life different now? What matters most to you? It's part of your testimony. It's authentic, it's relatable, it's powerful. The risk to this is that a lot of people now start to think, "Ah, I can't help it. I know how this thing goes." By the time I share one testimony, I'm a beautiful testimony shared today, by the way. Victor, there's a risk that comes with sharing the testimony. Many of you think that way. I don't want to jinx it. I know how this works. It's like devil-nose. I just mistakenly say, "God has foie." It's like every force of darkness tries to truncate it. Some of you know what I'm saying. Yeah. Newsflash, you've already probably knew. It's not new information. Right? But there's something that comes with the confidence of your proclamation. This is what has happened to me. This is what I changed and I stand by it no matter what. Your testimony is powerful. Can you preach that to your neighbor beside you? Say, "Your testimony is powerful. It can change lives." Literally. If the gospel is good news and you receive that good news in your life, the testimony of that good news can literally shape the life of someone else. Don't be afraid about it. Talk about it. It happens to you. Are you proud about what salvation has done in your life? Are you proud about the change of desires that has happened to you by the Spirit? Are you happy about the peace that has come with knowing the Lord? See, let me just tell you your testimony is powerful and the world wants to hear it. Number six. Let me see if you're still listening. What's number one? Number two. Number three. Number four. Who's doing good? Number five. Number six. Real them in. Real them in. Real them in. Real them in. Is that about? Yes, it's about the show media. Real them in. I talked about this a bit on Thursday. What the scope is larger than that. One thing I talked about is that social media is truly a game of attention. I hope you know that's their objective. Who can capture the largest part of the presence, attention span by time. That's the reason why everything is curated to keep you there more than the two minutes you promised you'll be there on four. And those two minutes turns into two hours. It's part of it. It's developed in a way to keep you in. But guess what? What keeps people from just swiping is what gets attention. So if you're going to explore that space, which I think every one of you should, if you can handle it. How many of you here cannot handle social media? I mean, I think sometimes when we put definitions, we say what's up is not part of such a person. People put it as parts, because I think it should be. How many of you cannot handle social media? Let me just see. Great. Thank you for your honesty. My hand is also up. There we go. Okay. Fantastic. And I think it's fine. Like a celebrity couple recently got married. Do you know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about? Relax. Relax. It's a celebrity couple got married. I should say who they are. Do you know who they are? I should not say it. You know who they are. The point is this. You don't know who they are. Why? Honest is not really not so far from home. You should notice. There's an inferior of just of just the bliss of marriage and. Marriage is beautiful, but there's something. If you know that joke, let's meet after I say, why do you know you for? Okay. It's fine. Here's the deal. They had a wedding and there were no pictures that went out to the general public. Do you realize how sacred that is? I was impressed. Not upset. They love the way of said. I'm like. That's impressive. One of the days where during holiday you go to a neighbor's house and say, how are you? You know, you've been well traveled. Where did you go? Are you as almost I mean nice. Where are the pictures? Oh, you don't have post stamps. Oh my goodness. But now you don't need. It will tell you it's a girl life. Real time. This is what that's happened. I just feel like of course there's a balance to social media. It can be overwhelming. It can engender some toxic comparisons, which are not real comparisons because people put their best foot forward many times. And it's not the real as comparison. But if you can't play in that space, whether directly or indirectly, I beg you. It's important. We can't do it with social media. If we're talking about influence, that's why they're literally called influences. This is what they do. People love to know. People want to be invited into someone else's life to distract them from what they're going on their own life many times. And so it's okay. Lead them. Let your influence shine the gospel through what it goes beyond this. They're more creative avenues to do this as simple as having a blog. Even if all you write is twice in a month, it's something on the soft stock on the medium or somewhere you create a website for it. Right stories. Things that get attention. Just like the newspaper headlines are something catchy that people are with what Trump did what's and you're going to find out it has nothing to do with Trump of God. You're talking about. Right. Like whatever you can do, get attention or make it consistent. Can's another thing that I think we can play in and I know that in the future I have something to do with this is short films with powerful messaging. It's short 10 to 15 minutes film that carries a message get good actors not the actor say yeah. Oh my God. What does that point to you? Can't professional people that can act together. I'm saying let the effects. Let me make sense. Not that the light needs to like this. Let me make sense. Do something. Invest in it. Put it out there. What I'm saying right. This short book right something do something. Real them in through creative means is what I'm trying to say. What I'm saying. So this is beyond. Just your direct sphere of influence. If you have followers on your social media. That's your flip yourself influence. If you have subscribers on your YouTube channel that's your sphere of influence. How can you keep them all grounded in the Lord? How can you let them know the Lord more and more praise name of Jesus. Create skits if you can create funny skits and let those kids drive some attention. If I were not pastor and I'll probably be a skit maker. I'm sure. Yeah. Show to what do you mean? That's what I was doing my time. I brought a left for university. All I was doing was just me and my camera. Doing different things like. It's me making us. You want to make it. Go. Go. I know just do all this crazy stuff. I'm. That's what I would have been doing my life most likely. I'm glad. It took this turn. I'll probably also go back there but. All that different what was laughing. Pastor done. What's the why you laughing. Okay. Probably do it different thing if I want to but I think it does well. Like people literally just want to get online and laugh. If you have comedy in your bones, let that find the expression. Let it find expression. Let your personality shine through. Let people be connected to you in that way. And then they see, okay, there's more to this president comedy. There's this depth. There's truth. I like what they have. I want what they have. That's how it happens. Like your influence is so powerful in this museum.
realize that in some pressing seasons, we have more non-members joining than our actual members. And many times, that's simple as you're reposting. Just passively reposting on your state. I'm so much like, "Ah, if you were praying, I'm fasting, I need praying, I'm fasting, this is not my life, let me join in." As simple as that. That's how you're leveraging your social media space to influence people for the gospel. As simple as that. At least, I might have the numbers wrong, but at least 30% of people have found this church because of social media. It's sort of someone's status, it's sort of on Instagram or TikTok or whatever, and they said, "I would like to check it out." It's powerful, I hope you know. But so she's on her own program, she organized it. She just put it out there. Someone, someone, he didn't know how from Adam, came around for the program, stayed to the end, showed up again for LOL conference. Just how powerful that is. People might just be like, "No, I just need a sign to know that there's a place I can belong." And the first thing they see is your post. Do you know what you've done? Some of you, nothing, nothing, your status, empty, if it's, no of you, it's almost as if, let me know, this is enough, but this, let me know, talk. Some of you, we don't even know which church you belong to. That's if you have five lookout churches you belong to. You never posted an excerpt from this church, but every other pastor is like your status. Don't worry, don't worry, we're watching number seven. And number seven. We've raised me to this point number seven, school, school, the fish. Of course, a collection of fishes are called a school. But what I mean by school, the fish is, enroll every fish you catch into the school of the spirits, bring them into community, bring them into community. For some people, all they really need is just direct exposure, direct environment. So if you all do work, you'll ever need to do, I mean, I hope not. For some seasons, all the work you ever need to do is just the fact that you brought someone in, you invited. Do you realize that Simon Peter was not the first person to meet Jesus? Was it the leader of the apostles eventually? Yes, before somebody else came later on. It was Andrew, the disciple of John the Baptist, who saw Jesus, what did he do? He ran to his brother, Peter, he said, "Oh, we found the Messiah." This was before Jesus even performed that miracle where he caught a lot of fishes. So we found the Messiah, come and meet him and Jesus on the spot giving me a new name. You'll be called Seffas. His life changed by just the invitation of someone else. Someone and see, this is how God does these things. It's not fair to entowel. If he wants to elevate, he's not about who came first. Andrew was there, but he brought Peter and Peter rose significantly because it's the calling of the election of grace of God. What does he say? Let me show you this. You don't, ah, let me show you this. John chapter four. What's John chapter four? I read from verse 28. Tell the president, "People desperately "wants to know what you know." They just don't know it yet. John chapter four from verse 28. I need your help. I need you guys to shout 28, 29 and 30 at me. Are you ready? That 28, let's go. What did she say to the people? Told me all that I have. Could this be the Christ? The historical question. Verse 30. So this woman encountered Jesus at the well. Someone who exposed everything she had ever known. You're not even gotten to the point, perhaps where he has given her that drinking, living water. But the fact that this man is a prophet, knows his stuff, ah, he could be the Messiah. And he didn't even get the load down. She already went. She dropped her jar. She went everywhere. Come on here. There is a man. Come on see. Come on see. He told me everything. I know he could be the Messiah. And because of the energy with which he carried it, what happened? Imagine a host city running. See the Messiah. That what happened? Verse 39, I'll read it. Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of what? Because of the testimony of the woman. How did I get to believe? Her testimony. Did she preach the gospel to them? Not directly anyways. What did she say? Come to the place where you can hear the gospel preached. And guess how they believed? Because her testimony. Come on here. A man who told me all that I ever did. Was he an exaggeration? It actually was. He didn't tell her everything. He told her a past class section. But if he told me this, he probably knows everything else. He knows his deep secret. He knows everything else. Look at verse 40. So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them. And he stayed with them for two days. How kind? And because of his words, many more believers came. Many more became believers. I beg your pardon. Verse 42. They said to the woman, we no longer believe. Look at this. We no longer believe because of what? Because of what you said for we ourselves. I've heard him. And we know. So this is crazy. The invitation also engender their belief. They believed at how it worked. Then they came to hear more from the source. And they sealed the deal. Don't underestimate the power of invitation. Don't underestimate it. I beg you. Take it seriously. Your common see can literally change the eternal destiny of someone forever on your account. They can say, if not for you. And some of you can say this about people in this church. If not for this pressing, hold on. Thank you for inviting me. I want to just publicly celebrate the Kaya Dezo. Honestly, I have to recognize the grace on your lives. I do. That's done. Hi. Hi, my love. It's incredible. I'm not saying that we don't have a good culture like that going on. I think we can do better. But I cannot count the number of times where people are saying, I came to this church. I say, how is them? How is them? Can you celebrate them? I also celebrate David O'Vee. I would like to have people who have been in this church who have come around just because he saw them on the streets and followed through. He's one thing to invite. Zanat is a follow through. He's one thing to say, come around. But he's not going to say, oh, yeah, we're still here. Let's be going. So I celebrate you. Thank you so much. And every one of you who has taken the time to intentionally say whether offline or online, please come to my church. I celebrate you. I celebrate you. Thank you. There is yet more. There's yet more. Do you know what it means? Just think of the math. And again, inviting people does not mean necessarily that they'll be planted here. It's my hope and prayer that they are. But it's also find that they get the first exposure here and then the rest comes afterwards. But do you know what, if you do the math, if how many are we right now here, not offline now, but here, not online right now. Maybe around, let's just say 50, 60, maybe 50. If everyone of us brought two people each, what's that? 150, right? If you brought two people each, like friends, family, strangers, neighbors, brought them-- people who are uncharged, you brought them here. You follow through. We will need to adopt triple our chair sizes, literally. It sounds very simple on people, but it's really that practical. Like, who do I know that can just-- like, I'm not saying if they already made church, that's fine. That's a different situation. When you know people who have not gone to church for years, you know people who are questioning their faith, and you just say, see, look, this is what we're learning in church right now. We talked about this relationship thing. They're trying to figure it out to your confuse. Just by doing this series now, love a thorn. You to bless you, man, it's to answer your questions. Many of you did this for "Ello Agala." I celebrate you. I come around, have your questions answered. Simple as that.
powerful stuff. I want us to rebuild a healthy culture of invitation again. I have news for you by the way. I have news for you. The I beg your pardon, the research team would like me to let you know. Should I say it? I should. You'd like me to let you know that they would like to incentivize people who are taking this seriously. And what I mean is if you're able to bring within a quarter, if the most amount of people who came to church came through your invitation, they want to say a big thank you for the great work you're doing. Do you want to know what they want to say thank you with? You should not tell you. Okay, I won't tell you when it happens, you know, but I'll just give it a brief. It's as it can go as far as there's a trip we have to do somewhere outside of Lagos or even outside the country. And that trip is sponsored. But I'm so you get to even see what it looks like to invite people on a global scale. It's part of the package. I hear that. So I'm not going to give you cash. No, no, that's wrong. Incentive. But just something that we want to stir up more the invitation out culture already built in Amen. So it's going to happen. I think just for this year, but we're looking for it every quarter starting from AMG, Imperial, Major. If you bring people to church, we just want to say thank you and keep up the good work. So please do that. Please do that. Let people know just send your broadcasts. Like what are you doing to broadcast messages? Every day as easy you have 200 contacts. 200 people are seen that you invited them to church. At least two will come. Are you to principle? Amen. Do you what I'm saying? So just take it seriously. Not all of us will be able to preach, but all of us can invite. Do you agree? So do your part. Invite. Invite. Tell people come and see. The last points as I round off. As incredible. I'm good on time, aren't I? It's be patient and consistent. Be patient and consistent. Truth is, you cannot save everyone or anyone. So leave it to the one who can't really cannot save like you can't save anyone. It's only one who saves. The job is to lead them to have an encounter to the one who saves. So that takes the pressure off of you, but make no mistake. Some of us give up at the first attempt. You say, oh, this person is not responding. I shake the dust off my feet and move on to the next village. It's not always the case. I told you the example of what a persistent person can do in keeping to tell the person Jesus truly loves you. Jesus gave the parable of the unjust judge and look 18. He said this woman, this widow kept crying out. This man was unjust. He couldn't care less about this one, but because she was persistent. Okay, you know what? I'm just saying, every time, VV5, VV5, VV4, every time, where is it? Bagada. It's not going to happen. What time is it? Okay, it's not going to happen. It's not ATM. It's 10 AM. Okay. Okay, no problem. But I don't have to say, oh, you pick me. Oh, okay, you're sensitive. Oh, okay. No, excuse. Let me share. Get this off my shoulders. They come stepping into the, as they're stepping in, just, you know, king smile has melted their hearts. You know, welcome to service. Ah, there's love here. And then, you know, Dikiniano, you know, where is he? Where's Yanuleek? You know, at least worship. And then just, and in the word of God, come through and, this was for me. Thank you so much for inviting. This was for me. What, what have I been doing in my life? All this, this was for me. Thank you. And not just because of your invitation. Now, I've heard the truth. I've had an encounter with Jesus. And I believe, that's how powerful it is. What we persistent. What does the Bible say? Paul said this, he said, I planted the seed. Apollo did what? He watered it, but guess who brings the increase? It is God. He said, everyone who plants and everyone who, who waters has their own reward. Do you get it? Do you know how much the pressure goes off your shoulders? For some of you, you will plant and you also water and God brings the increase. For some of you all, you need to just plant so that seed, somebody else will come later by the providence and sovereignty of God. And just, ah, as much they can tell someone's trying to tell me that time. Oh, it makes sense now. It's clicking then God brings the increase. But she gets her reward, the person who watered gets their reward. Talking about first Corinthians 3, praise the name of Jesus. Take that, just be consistent, be patient, be people's process. They need the time sometimes. And sometimes trust and relationship is built over time. It's not immediate. So take the time, praise the name of the Lord. It's only on some very interesting occasions that people come to faith instantly. I mean, it happens a lot, but some people need time. Sometimes it's really about the depth of the darkness and the depth of the past. Sometimes they need you to keep digging until you get to the core. And they can finally make a decision in the right hand space to follow Jesus. So overall, if you're going to make your network, what you need to do is you need to pray, you need to build trusts, you need to serve people and be attractive, you need to share the message of the gospel with them as much as you invite them. And then God will bring the increase. But I beg you, don't joke with this. God has given you the privilege of the people that have encountered you in your life. You are light in that generation, in that in that circle of influence. You are light in that dark place. God is counting on you. Do you realize that? At least if you truly are proud of him, talk about him, talk about him. Some of you just that it didn't in one day into it, you will not stop boosting. You will not stop talking. And Jesus is like, am I a spoon? I saved your life. This relationship will not last beyond this life. Talk about what's more important. I should tell them, oh Mario, I love you, I love you, I love you, Mario. Forgive me. There are things that are more important. Jesus is more important. It matters more than all things. Can I give you an assignment? Let's read the scripture before I do. Second Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14, "I want you to read it aggressively to me." Are you ready? Rise up on your feet. That's ready together. Are you ready? Ambassadors of Christ, are you ready? What does it say? "Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ and through us, diffuses the fragrance of his knowledge in every place." Look at that. Through us, this is the means to which his fragrance reaches the ends of the earth. Through us, through us, through our influence. This is our how it happens. I want to charge you next week Sunday. Can I ask that you bring to new people? I've never walked into this church before. Just to. I'm not asking you to see them impressing and talk. If that's too much for you, tell them please, what would it take to get you to come to my church? What would it take to get you to at least come around and listen to them? What they have to say? Every objection, try to match it. Transportation is sorted. Distance can be sorted. We have live streaming platform. This is just what can it take to get you to put online on offline? I hear what I'm saying too. Will you do this? This is one of your first steps in being the fragrance of Christ in every place. And that's a wrap.
