Good morning. I want to start off with the thing for this session has been the goodness of God and I want to go back to the scripture that Sean originally introduced to us at the beginning of the school year. It was Psalms 23 of Psalm of David and it reads, "The Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides quiet waters. He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the path, the right path for his namesake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will feel no evil. For you are with me. You're riding your staff. They comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Surely your goodness will follow me all the days of my life." That's from David. I want you to ask to understand something. I asked a few of the students describe God. What is the qualities of God? Ensure that he's omnipotent and he is, omnipresent, he is, all knowing, he is, but I want to tell you something else. And those of you who know me from NYC, as John said, let me describe something to you about God. God is good. He is good. When situations are bad circumstances or not what you want, guess what? God is still good. It is his nature. And so at NYC camp, I have this thing where I always in the night with the affirmation. And I want to ask you guys to help in this affirmation. I will say God is good and you say all the time. And then I'll say all the time and you say God is good. So every time I say God is good, I want you to say all the time. God is good when things are not going well and your grades are slipping and you're being told that you have to do extra, an extra year of school. God is good. Are you sure? God is good. Okay, thank you. When you are in the doctor's office and the doctor says, I'm sorry, it's cancer. And there's nothing we can do. God is good. When your girlfriend, a boyfriend breaks up with you or worse yet, your husband or your wife says, I want a divorce. God is still good. He is still good. It is God's nature that he is good. There will be times where we live in a broken world. We live in a world that does not understand that God is good and they will tell you lies about our God. They will tell you if he's good, then he wouldn't permit this. They'll tell you the world is full of evil. So God must be evil himself. God did not create evil. Evil is the is the absence of God. It's when we don't have God in our heart. It's when we don't honor God that that happens. You know, so many times when things go bad, we turn to God. But what about when things go good? Do we turn to him then? That is the time when we need to be turning to God because guess why it's going good? Guess why it's going good? Because of God. Because he's there because he's present. I got the privilege of going on the mission trip last week. Things went fabulous. Things were good. It's because God's presence was there with us. He was there in the vans with us on the way there and back. He was there in the Airbnb with us. He was there on the streets of Nashville with us. He was there in the work while we were working in the warehouse. He was there while we were swimming in the pool. His goodness was there all the time. So, I just want to leave you with this one message. God is good. And all the time. Thank you.
