Global Protests Spread as Opposition to Trump’s Policies Grows
23m 43s
A deeply compelling narrative unfolds about how personal ventures—like photography or baking—can be transformed into successful online businesses through a professionally designed Squarespace website, underscoring the power of digital presence. This theme is interwoven with a global panorama of anti-authoritarian protests erupting across nations: Venezuela, Albania, Israel, Brazil, Italy, and France, where citizens are mobilizing against corruption, foreign interference, and rising costs. In Albania, protests against the Trump-linked sale of the Cezanne Islands to Ivanka and Jared escalate into violent confrontations. In Israel, massive anti-Netanyahu rallies demand accountability for the October 7 attacks, while in Iraq and Pakistan, border closures to Iran have triggered severe economic crises and regional instability. The Trump administration’s global reach is criticized for undermining sovereignty, with direct actions in Iraq and Pakistan worsening humanitarian conditions. Elon Musk’s throttling of Ukraine’s defense systems via Starlink is highlighted as a significant escalation in geopolitical tensions, raising alarms about corporate power in warfare. Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney emphasizes national sovereignty, rejecting overreliance on U.S. technology and asserting Canada’s independent foreign and defense policy. These interconnected events illustrate a world in flux, driven by democratic resistance and a growing awareness of global power imbalances. The podcast concludes by promoting *WTF America*, positioning it as a testament to public defiance against authoritarianism and misinformation.

A furious world is erupting as Donald Trump has caused instability everywhere.
I want to focus on what's happening in Venezuela.
Yep, Venezuela.
There are mass protests against the Trump puppet regime of Delce Rodriguez.
I'll show you what those protests look like in Caracas and elsewhere.
In Albania, you have another Trump stooge prime minister there, Eddie Romney.
Obama, who gave away the Cezanne Islands to Kushner and Ivanka.
We're seeing protests turn very violent in Tirana, in Skanderbeg Square.
We'll show you what's happening there as these protesters are using these fireworks machine guns and they're spraying it everywhere.
We'll talk about and show you what's going on there.
In Tel Aviv, Israel, folks, there are mass protests against the Netanyahu regime.
Right on the eve of Israeli elections, we're seeing hundreds of thousands of protesters in Tel Aviv standing up against Netanyahu, whose Likud party is falling in the polls.
Netanyahu is on the verge of losing power, which means he's getting more desperate than ever to create a national security event.
And I believe that's why we will see catastrophic escalation in Iran very soon.
In Belarus. In Belgrade, Serbia, we saw hundreds of thousands of students protesting in Belgrade on behalf of the student list slate in the upcoming parliamentary elections there protesting against the government corruption by their current leader, Vucic, was the president now seeking to become the prime minister over there.
We'll show you what that looks like in Brazil election day.
We're seeing president Lula's supporters in Sao Paulo, in Brasilia, all throughout Brazil, millions of people supporting Lula and trying desperately to push back against Flavio Bolsonaro, the Trump puppet.
We'll show you what that looks like in Italy.
We're seeing protests in Rome and Turin and Bologna and other areas, the government of Italy.
Giorgia Maloney, the prime minister, she has sent 500 troops to join 5,000 police officers to try to quell some of these protests in Italy.
We'll show you what's going on there.
In France, obviously, you know about the mass protests going on there.
And you have French President Emmanuel Macron calling out Donald Trump and saying that the rhetoric used by Trump and others, it's stupid, he says.
And it's trying to intentionally sow division and discord.
We'll show you what French President Emmanuel Macron was saying.
We'll talk about what's happening in Iraq.
It's a powder keg right there.
The Trump regime demanded that Iraqi Prime Minister Zaidi shut down the borders of Iraq to Iran.
That's causing a lot of economic problems in Iraq.
Remember, Iraq has a huge Shiite population, majority Shiite.
Obviously, Iraq.
Iran is basically all Shiite.
And so remember those, the processions for Ayatollah Khomeini's funeral, where you had millions of people showing up in Iraq.
Iraq, very closely linked with Iran.
Obviously, culturally, with huge Shiite populations, we're seeing the Iraqi resistance linked to Iran getting livid at Prime Minister Zaidi of Iraq, seemingly bending the knee to the Trump regime.
We're hearing and seeing Israeli jets right by that Iraqi-Irani border, kind of taunting Iran and showing that they're giving free reign over Iraq.
Iraqi resistance livid.
And we believe there were strikes by the Israeli Air Force into Iraq, where the Iraqi resistance had some of those manpads, those shoulder fire missiles, those heat sensor shoulder fire missiles.
Pakistan, a powder keg right now.
Right now as well.
Remember when Pakistan was pretending to be a mediator between the United States and Iran?
Well, the mask is off there.
They're not mediating.
They shut down their border to Iran.
Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Sharif basically doing what Trump and the CIA want them to do.
Huge Shiite population also in Pakistan.
Powder keg situation there as well.
We're following closely.
There's a massive liquefied petroleum gas shortage in Pakistan right now, an LPG shortage.
And that crisis is getting bigger because they've shut down their border to Iran where they can get LPG from.
Of course, here in the United States, you have the big No Kings protests.
As we were the first to report on the Midas Touch Network, you had Meta Zuckerberg shut down the No Kings social media account.
And you had the same thing happening in Pakistan.
getting out their message. And they blamed it on technical difficulties. At the same time,
Elon Musk, the owner of X, he's been preventing the Midas Touch Network, our people from sharing
photos and videos about WTF America, our new book. It has like a adult sensor warning on it
when people have been posting about WTF America and posting photos of our book.
But look, way more seriously than that,
Musk has been using SpaceX to throttle the ability of Ukrainian drones
and drone interceptors to be used above a certain speed limit.
And then yesterday, Elon Musk said, yeah, they violated our terms of service.
Of course, we're going to do that.
Of course, we're going to throttle them.
It appears that the throttling may be temporarily stopped, or at least the Star Shield aspect
of it, which is the military side of it, has taken over from the Starlink side of it because
we've seen massive Ukrainian drone strikes recently.
And then I want to talk about Prime Minister Carney is in Turkey, and he's been just showing
what the leader of the free world looks like as he continues to take these international
trips and just representing Canadian values and he says straight up he goes look our values are
very different than Turkey of course I'm going to raise issues like LGBTQ rights he said I'm going
to protect Canadian values we're never going to shy away from them even when we take trips like
this so I know that's a pretty big overview of things that are happening let's go through some
of this incredible imagery incredible videos that we have here let me show you what it looks like in
Venezuela right now, as you had these massive protests. I'll show you the one in Caracas right
here. Let's play this clip right now.
Now I want to bring you to Albania.
Of course, there have been massive protests over there which have now turned violent.
These protests have really been arising out of government corruption.
But the kind of final straw was when Eddie Rama's government in Albania gave the Cezanne Islands to Kushner and Ivanka
to turn it into some weird Trumpenstein, Epstein-style oligarchical island.
Many people were saying that that's how they wanted to use it,
like for the oligarchs and weird stuff and deranged stuff happening there.
So people are absolutely livid in Albania.
And then you had like Ivanka and Jared pretending like they discovered the island.
Like, oh, we discovered it.
We were on a boat with the Rothschilds.
And so people have been protesting.
But let me show you the scenes, really harrowing scenes from Albania as protesters unleash a barrage of fireworks at police.
Let's play it.
let me show you more of what these anti-government protests look like in albania
more of these protests in albania let me show you what they look like let's play it

netanyahu be held accountable and the formation of an official commission of inquiry into his
failures we'll show you right here matt gutman was on the ground did some great reporting
about the people in tel aviv and how the people in israel are saying that netanyahu regime
has led to an existential crisis right now in israel here let's play this clip right here you're
searing the rally for israel's democrats party that's a center-left party there are thousands
and thousands of people here in the streets of tel aviv
all of them debating that people get out the vote their goal more than anything right now
is to break apart the current government of israel's prime minister benjamin netanyahu during
the upcoming elections on tuesday they are likely to form a block with other opposition parties that
will likely have higher numbers than netanyahu's right-leaning block question is are they going
to be able to form a coalition government that could take weeks maybe even months in the meantime
netanyahu is going to lead a caretaker government i gotta say having covered a lot of elections here
in israel this is a lot of energy this group is meeting up with another group just down the street
or demanding a commission of inquiry into the october 7th massacre and the failures
that apparently led to it according to so many israelis there is going to be and you can expect
a huge turnout here including tens of thousands of people living in the u.s.
israeli citizens who come back to vote here one thing is clear they're going to see a lot more of
this in the coming days as we head towards tuesday let me now bring us to brazil we'll go to sao paulo

anti-government protesters with water cannons remember the georgia maloney government is a
far-right government far-right government is a far-right government and it's a far-right government

let's take a look at the large crowds
marching through paris
for the second national day of protest against the rising cost of living as authorities deployed
heavy security following last weekend's riots um take a look at what this looked like let's play
this clip meanwhile you have french president emmanuel macron saying the following there has
been foreign manipulation of information and the police have been following the protests
that have been taking place in france since the beginning of this year so there's a lot to talk about
this has led to unacceptable and downright stupid comments from many people including foreign leaders
referring to donald trump we have seen artificial intelligence generated images showing scenes that
never happened in france people have claimed that we were invaded by hordes of migrants and islamists
which is completely false i want to turn now quickly to iraq the iraqi prime minister zaidi
shut down his borders to iran and he's been saying that he's been invaded by hordes of migrants and
people have claimed that we were invaded by hordes of migrants and islamists which is completely false
and they are suffering some major economic issues in iraq the iraqi resistance part of iran's so-called
access of resistance is also um saying that if the borders are not open they're going to act very soon
all of the may the big sectarian issues in the middle east are rising right now as donald trump
again just shows no understanding of this region at all um and it's just a i would say bull in a
china shop but that's not even he's trump in the world right now he's not even in the world right
now he's not even in the world right now he's not even in the world just wrecking and destroying
just wrecking and destroying everything right now um also as we noted pakistan shut down its border
everything right now um also as we noted pakistan shut down its border to iran so iran cut off its lpg
to iran so iran cut off its lpg exports to pakistan approximately 50 percent of pakistan's
exports to pakistan approximately 50 percent of pakistan's total lpg imports comes from iran and
total lpg imports comes from iran and so this is crushing pakistan right now and then you have
so this is crushing pakistan right now and then you have canada's prime minister mark carney who's
canada's prime minister mark carney who's now basically the leader of the free world he was asked
now he's now basically the leader of the free world he was asked about the possibility of a u.s
about the possibility of a u.s invasion of canada here's what he says play this clip the uh the
invasion of canada here's what he says play this clip the uh the president united states is under
president united states is under no illusions uh it's absolutely clear where i stand where canada
no illusions uh it's absolutely clear where i stand where canada stands where canadian stands
stands where canadian stands we'll never be the 51st state uh we are going our own way we're
we'll never be the 51st state uh we are going our own way we're preparing we're strong and we're
preparing we're strong and we're getting stronger it's a point i made to him uh the other day uh
getting stronger it's a point i made to him uh the other day uh just in terms of our economic
just in terms of our economic performance uh how we're building up partnerships i mentioned that i
performance uh how we're building up partnerships i mentioned that i would be coming here uh and
would be coming here uh and developing that partnership of course a stronger canada is a
developing that partnership of course a stronger canada is a better partner for the united states
better partner for the united states if the united states wants to act as our partner prime minister
if the united states wants to act as our partner prime minister carney then addresses elon musk
carney then addresses elon musk throttling starlink and star shield to ukraine and this is why carney
throttling starlink and star shield to ukraine and this is why carney says we need to make sure we
says we need to make sure we can't be dependent on any type of u.s company like a starlink or
canada says we need to make sure we can't be dependent on any type of u.s company like a starlink or spacex here play this clip we as canadians do not want to be caught in
we can't be dependent on any type of u.s company like a starlink or spacex here play this clip we as canadians do not want to be caught in a situation where we are reliant on one
a situation where we are reliant on one provider
provider that may change their view or may
that may change their view or may be forced to change their view uh by one nation state that puts canadians at risk
be forced to change their view uh by one nation state that puts canadians at risk or compromises our sovereignty our
Once you realize that, as we have, this government has, it leads to a series of decisions and
partnerships that are necessary in order to diversify and to build up sovereign capabilities
within Canada or with partners.
A lot of what we're doing is motivated by that fundamental need for Canada.
It takes time because we're starting from a position where we're highly, highly reliant
on certain systems in certain countries.
We need to diversify those.
We are in the process of diversifying those and we'll continue to pursue that because
that's what true sovereignty is.
is for Canadians, and to loop back to earlier questions in terms of not just protection of
human rights, but ensuring that all Canadians can celebrate and live their rights as Canadians.
Ultimately, that is why we look to be sovereign, so Canadians can live their lives and so forth.
More from Carney over here. Let's play it.
Elon Musk has reportedly ordered a slowdown of SpaceX's Starlink satellite system that
enables Ukraine to defend itself. I'm wondering if you're concerned about
Musk's apparent ability to cripple Ukraine's defenses like this.
Well, first is, however the decision came about, it does seem clear that there was
a slowdown of that system with real consequences, human consequences,
direct casualties as a consequence of this, a reduced ability of Ukraine to defend itself
against a Russian attack. Russian attacks, which are becoming more and more frequent,
more and more indiscriminate. I'll just refer in the last 36 hours to the attack at the center of Kyiv.
Kyiv, absolutely no dressing up on any sort of military or quasi-military target, just a direct
attack on citizens and with immense human suffering. So this is real, this is concrete, this is. A search for the right adjective to describe whoever took this decision or a group of people
took this decision against a country, and it's against a country that is literally fighting for
the lives of its citizens against naked aggression. And then the Trump regime has been attacking Canada
and saying Canada has been involved in election interference for the midterms. I mean, how utterly
pathetic are these Trump regime lies? Mélanie Joly, the minister of industry of Canada, had the
following to say after the official U.S. embassy in Ottawa put out a communique accusing Canada of
election interference. Let's play this clip right here. I think facts must be straightened in the
sense that indeed I met with Democrats in the U.S., but I met with Republicans, which the embassy,
the American embassy failed to. to present. I went to Boston, and I met with Democrats, and in the same meeting,
there was a Republican senator, state senator. At the same time I went to Florida, I met with
Republican state senators. And the other thing also is recently, again, I met in Ottawa,
Democrats and Republicans that came to see me and came to see other members of the government.
That is diplomacy. That's what we do.
Now. The American administration decided to put tariffs on the world, including on Canada,
and that is hurting people on both sides of the border,
and that's a problem that they need to address. Meanwhile, we'll do our work.
A lot of developments over there. We'll keep you posted every step of the way.
Go get WTF America. We're grateful for you. Thank you for watching. Appreciate you so much. There's a
big comprehensive update of everything happening in the world right now.
