Global Protests and World Leaders Fuel Backlash Against Trump
19m 43s
The transcript highlights the growing global resistance to Donald Trump’s foreign policy and election interference tactics. Wise is presented as a reliable financial tool for global money management, offering transparent exchange rates to avoid hidden fees. Politically, European leaders strongly defend Ukraine, rejecting Trump’s attempts to weaken support or ease sanctions, emphasizing that backing Ukraine is a matter of security, not mere goodwill. In Brazil, evidence of election interference emerges as Bolsonaro’s campaign funds AI-driven disinformation and social media manipulation, with Meta accused of unfairly restricting Lula’s advertising. Similar tactics are alleged against Ukraine, where Elon Musk and the U.S. have allegedly cut off access to Starlink, damaging military drone operations. Leaders from France, Poland, Canada, and beyond condemn Trump’s actions, stressing unity and the importance of international cooperation. The narrative portrays Trump and his allies as destabilizing forces through disinformation, election meddling, and undermining global institutions. The broader message is one of resilience—world leaders are standing firm against authoritarianism and hybrid warfare, reaffirming the importance of democratic values, transparency, and collective security in a fragmented world.

The scene you just saw right there is in Brasilia, Brazil. Hundreds of thousands of people in the street to support Brazil's president, Lula, and to fight back against the Trump regime. Puppet Flavio Bolsonaro as Brazil approaches the second round of its election. And the Trump regime is engaged in rampant election interference to try to prop up their puppet Bolsonaro's campaign in Brazil will also show you the streets right now of Albania where young people and people throughout Albania are still there protesting the government there and protesting against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump's attempt to take over a beautiful island there. The Caesan island in turn into a Trump and steam oligarchical freaking nightmare people across the world and world leaders are standing up to Donald Trump and the mega oligarchs and the Trump family. We saw obviously President Zelensky standing up giving a number of public interviews calling out Donald Trump and oligarchs like Elon Musk. We've seen a lot of interviews from European leaders standing up to Donald Trump and talking about European unity more unified now than ever will go through all of these world leaders standing up against the Trump regime right now. So let's take a look at what's been going down first. I want to show you what the former president of Ireland had to say because I think this was so powerful. Mary Robinson, I think she's channeling what we're all feeling. Here's what she said yesterday. Let's play this clip right here. And the fact that you know in 1945 with the UN Charter and we decided that we would have dialogue rather than the kind of rule by power. What we back to, which is quite chaotic, rule by power, invasion of Ukraine by Russia against the Charter, invasion, sorry attack, illegal attack by the United States at Israel on Iran, country to the UN Charter. And then the sort of transactional way of operating. You know, you asked the question. I think it is a bit unusual in the world that we have a leader with such power, which the president of the United States has, who happens to be such an inadequate leader for the world. I mean, you have to say it. I mean, a complete, illegal, you know, narcissist, you know, so inappropriate. And we just have to live with that for the next two years presumably. And hopefully he'll be checked in the midterms in some real measure. And if you think about what's confronting the United States in Europe right now, look no further than what Karel Demetri of Russia's envoy to the United States, who's also the head of their sovereign wealth fund has been posting. Elon Musk wants peace Demetri Ab says as Elon Musk and Donald Trump throttled Zelensky and Ukraine's ability to access the star link and star shield that links to the Ukrainian drones and drone interceptors Musk said. And so the slaughter continues time for Zelensky to go and Karel Demetri have also reposted this AI meme of the United States and Russia standing together side by side against the European Union and the UK. Folks, this is absolutely existential stuff right here. So French president Emmanuel Macron said the following about Trump's purported Russian diesel deal. Macron says the following above all, I think the decision that was taken is good for nobody. It sends a negative signal and creates division or doubt. I don't think it is very useful. It creates mistrust. We need to bring down diesel gasoline and gas prices. But this is not what will bring them down effectively. It is not the right response. I think it is inappropriate and ineffective. The message from Europe is clear. We will not abandon Ukraine and the Ukrainians. Macron says this is a war of resistance against Russia's war of aggression at a time when there have been ambiguities or certain failures. Europe's role is to stand firm because Europe's security and the defensive international principles are at stake. He's asked about Marine Le Pen, the opposition leader who is favor to win the next French elections. She has said that she will stop funding Ukraine and she seems to indicate a much closer relationship between France and Russia. Think about her party as the mega of France. Wasn't she prohibited from running? There was an appeals decision in France, which limited the penalty on her that's actually letting her run regardless. She has her stooge who could run if she's not able to run right now. So he's asked. Macron's asked. Marine Le Pen has said that if she came to power, she would cut financial aid to Ukraine within six months. Macron says if France, like all the other member states of the European Union supports Ukraine, it is because we know that our security is at stake. Anyone who tells the French people today, we are going to save money because none of this is serious. We're going to stop supporting Ukraine. Would immediately put France in an unprecedented position. We would be the only ones no longer doing so the only ones. And we would be suggesting in a way that our security is worth very little. Helping Ukraine, Macron says it's not a matter of goodwill. It's in our interest. It is the unanimous position of the Europeans and it's about our security. Surrender is weakness weaknesses danger. I believe the best way to protect the French people today is to help you crane as we are doing because it is on the front line of our own security. Paulins Prime Minister Donald Tusk said something similar. There's never been such a unified position among practically all EU countries. Even those who are less pro-Ukrainian, who sometimes show signs of weakness toward Putin, had no doubts that the next several months will be crucial. Perhaps not only for the history and future of Ukraine, but for the whole of Europe. Everyone was aware with this shift in President Trump's position on Ukraine and Russia. Europe should support Ukraine even more because of what Trump is doing. Not everyone does this because they love Ukraine. This is not about symbolic solidarity. Again, like Macron said, this is not about goodwill, although goodwill is good sometimes. That's not what this is even about. Many countries realize that if Ukraine falls, we will have very, very serious problems. He says in my conversation with Zelensky, I've learned that winter has practically already arrived in Ukraine. Not because the weather is wintery, but because there is almost no electricity anywhere. There are problems with gas, so it gets cold that night. They are preparing for a very difficult winter. Heck, even Lukashenko of Belarus, Donald Trump's patash buddy says the following about Zelensky being called upon to resign by Trump. Now, whether Lukashenko is saying this tongue in cheek, performative, or whether he really means it, he says it's not for Trump to decide when Zelensky resigns. Who becomes president of Ukraine is up to the Ukrainian people. That's what Lukashenko's saying, who's allied with Russia. hundred dollars or more. The Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jettin says Trump also has an interest in supporting Ukraine in this war as we do over here. Zelensky was flanked by European Commission leaders and European Commission presidents and he says I'm so thankful that we have such huge support from the European Council, the Commission and the leaders, real leaders, real leaders, he says obviously as a way to employedly slam Trump and musk and others, they have stood with us from the very beginning of this war. It is crucial and we count on their support and then you had European Council President Antonio Costa. He says the support of the European Union for Ukraine remains as strong as ever. This is no time to withdraw support from Ukraine. This is no time to ease sanctions on Russia now is the time to increase our support, to increase our pressure EU's Von Der Leyen on Ukraine says the following. We supported Trump's energy ceasefire but we've seen that Russia did not respect it, not for a single minute instead Russia escalated and therefore we have to increase the pressure on Russia. We will not lift any sanctions unless Russia stops the war and then Zelensky says we want to end this war as quickly as possible. We don't see any signals from the Russian side that they are ready to end this war. Ben Marks, president or Prime Minister, who's always been under attack by Donald Trump, Trump continues to claim that he now owns Greenland, that's part of his speech. We own Greenland, we own Greenland. She says we need to stop those outside of Europe whose people are part of hybrid war fair. In other words, pushing migrants and foreigners across the border. We have seen this in a number of different countries. I think by the way, she's not just calling out Russia over here. I think she's calling out the Netanyahu regime and the Trump regime as well. And specifically, I think they're talking about some of the attacks that Spain has come under, which we believe and we've reported, I give you my opinion, that that was a Trump Netanyahu hit job as well. She says the following, I have not heard anyone say that European leaders should tone down their public criticism of Trump, nobody has said it, nobody has even hinted it. If someone said that I would disagree, as democratically elected leaders, we have to be able to have discussions with each other, even when we disagree. Then you have EU's foreign minister, Kahakala says we should not give all the things that they are interested in without some kind of concessions from the Russia side. But of course, you can see that with our American allies, it's very difficult at the moment. Poland's foreign minister, Sikorsky, who's part of the Tusk government says since January of last year, the U.S. has not contributed a single cent of the defense of Ukraine. We are doing it. Europe is doing it. By the way, Poland's president, Nauroki, Nauraki, who by the way is somebody who Trump supported. And somebody who Trump always brags about, you know, I'm the reason that the president. So just to be clear, so you're not confused, right, Poland has a prime minister. The prime minister has their, you know, cabinet and they have their, you know, their ministers and they basically control the government. Have more power. If the president is another branch, they have power as well. The prime minister usually wields more power. But the president of Poland was someone who was viewed kind of more right wing. But even he says, any attempt to ease sanctions against the Russian Federation, whether coming from the European countries or other countries around the world is something I view critically. What we need today in Europe and around the world is to tighten sanctions against Russia. Sanctions that should lead to the weakening of the Russian Federation. This is obvious. My position is clear. Then you had, of course, prime minister, Karni of Canada. I've been covering a lot of his speeches lately, bragging about how Canada is now the most connected country in the world, tariff, free access to 1.5 billion consumers. And we're just getting started. He likes to talk about how Canada has the most precious commodity today. Trust in an era where the Trump regime has lost all trust. Canada has stood up as very trustworthy, predictable, and stable. And then in that speech, Karni gave, I don't need to show it again. The crowd absolutely erupted when prime minister Karni says the Pacific link pipeline will reduce Canada's dependence on the U.S. And then when the crowd erupted in a standing ovation, Karni said, careful, they, the United States might think that clapping for me is election interference. They're a little touchy down there. We're not. We're getting on with it. Contrast that to prime minister Netanyahu of Israel. And his working right now with the Trump regime in order, I think, to try to reescalate the catastrophic war in Iran before their election and the midterms here to create national security incidents to derail the election. He goes on an attacks former president Obama, right? I mean, all this guy does is attack, you know, United States presidents and politicians. And this is what he thinks he does. Stay the hell out of our politics. Seriously, stay the hell away. He goes the other day. I heard a regrettable statement from Obama. It talked about Israel stealing land, Israel losing the moral high ground. Well, let me respond to that. The Jewish people are not far and occupiers in the land of our forefathers. Our history is not a colonial enterprise. Our land is not stolen land. This is our homeland. It's called Judea. We're not the Dutch and Indonesia. We're not the Belgians in the Congo. We're the Jews in Judea. That's what Netanyahu was saying right there. And then so as he's saying that, well, then you had Marco Rubio, Secretary of State. He gave an interview yesterday with Breitbart where he said, America first means we're going to do the right thing for America before any of that United Nations, global common stuff, that globalist stuff here play this clip. So, but America first, meaning we're going to always do what's right for America before anything else. We're going to put it before the UN. We're going to put it before the global commons or whatever you want to call the global order that people worshipped around here for a very long time. We're not against any of those things. We're just not going to put them ahead of American interests anymore. That's what the president is doing. And it offends a lot of people in these think tanks and editorial writers. But if we had listened to them, I mean, at this point, America would be, you know, middle power. Well, maybe you should realize, Rubio, that the post-World War II international architecture was created by the United States. And that was created actually to empower the United States and actually help the United States markets and bring wealth to the United States. No matter what you think about that architecture, now that you're destroying it, you also don't have a plan to fix it. And that's kind of the thing with the Trump regime. They're the arsonists. They burn it down. Then they blame. Well, if you have a better plan, what the hell is your plan right now? Your plan is just to cause global economic depression and to be utter losers. More from Rubio right here. Let's play this clip. No one ever does that because I think at its core, everyone understands it. Our foreign policy, which is that I can speak about, has to be about what is good for America. Every country should do that for their own countries. And foreign relations is how you, you know, untangle the differences. So that as we started with what was going on in Brazil, let's talk a little more about it. The Bolsonaro campaign has been uncovered, paid a US company big money to manipulate the Brazilian elections, spreading rumors and disinformation, creating fake accounts on social media and using psychological warfare techniques and infiltration methods to discredit opponents intercept Brazil rights. Flavio Bolsonaro paid 600,000 to a company in the US that sells an AI system to manipulate elections. Also yesterday, a judge of Brazil's top electoral court ruled that meta must adopt measures to immediately secure equal treatment of the two presidential candidates ahead of an October 25th runoff. Meta was basically throttling, right? You have Trump and Musk throttling Ukraine's access to starling star shield for drones. You've got meta throttling or preventing or prohibiting Lula's ability to do ads and have the same type of access to Facebook. The algorithms been pushing, been pushing Bolsonaro, same thing on X pushing Bolsonaro as well. And so here you have it. I mean, one of the things we talk about in WTF America, the book I wrote with my brothers, that is out on Tuesday, we spend a lot of time in the book talking about the international, this international dynamic.
