One, two, three, four, I declare a thumb war. Elbow. How long you gotta hold it down? Three seconds. This is cute. Oh my God, kiss. Neighbors, welcome to the first official House Guest Game Night. Tonight, we've got a Gen Z royal court, and every court needs a queen. Winner from Love Island USA, Serena Page. And beside every queen is her king. Look at Cordell Beckham. And let's not forget a princess, a princess of viral comedy. I'm going to take out my Invisalign. Creator, Ashby Florence. Millennials, please pray for me. Are you telling me to play it again? Yes. Boom. I didn't, that was you. You came with all the, you came with all the, but y'all, thank you so much for joining us. This is our very first. Game night episode. Okay. So we are pumped. You got your drinks. You ready to do this? Softly this time. Learning, you know, no one is better than learning. I still want to roll that clip. Roll it back. No, give me the slow-mo, give me the slow-mo. Oh, can we curse? Uh, no, no. It's a family show girl. Oh my God. Ashby, what the fuck? Yes, absolutely. Live your life. Be yourself. That's one of the reasons why. You are here because your videos, your, I hate to even say content because I feel like content feels almost like maybe absent-minded or like accidental or, and I know that a lot of thought, a lot of care, a lot of preparation goes into stuff that you're creating, the work that you're creating online and it's guaranteed laugh every time. Thank you so much. What was it about the social media landscape that you were like, yeah, I think I'm gonna do this. It was more like I, I like randomly posted. Like the first like Hamilton thing during that like whole, whole trend and everything happened so fast and I gained so many followers, like I hit a million or 1.5 was like in a week. So it was more like, yeah, it was crazy, but it wasn't, I always say like, it's two things. It's luck that opens the door and then it was skill and training and preparation that like kept it open. So I saw that opportunity and I was like, okay, I'm good at writing. I'm good at comedy. Like I'm going to lean fully into this. You know what I mean? Yeah. And you do very, very well. You're hilarious. If you're not familiar with her material online, definitely get into it. Cause she's, and like, you almost never see it coming. And the faces that you make, the one thing everyone's like, girl, never get Botox. I'm like, okay, I'm going to get myself, but again, it helps. It helps. It sells it. You're so funny. I'm so glad that you were here. You too. Oh my goodness. I'm trying to remember where it was like the very first time we met. Was it in Barbados? It was Barbados. We stayed at the same house, right? Yes. Yeah. It was Barbados. Crazy. That's a crazy, like, introduction. So you met in Barbados. Yeah. Wait, I guess the story gets crazier. Would you tell her who we were in Barbados with? Oh yeah. We was with, uh, Rihanna. Oh, okay. Of Fenty. Yeah. Oh, okay. I see. Okay. Of Umbrella. Right. Casually like chilling with it. I'm like, oh, it was nuts. It was crazy. Yeah, it was kind of crazy. No, I'm happy. I'm stoked. There you go. It's so funny because that weekend we played so many games. There was like a field day full of competition that helped raise money for Rihanna's school. It was a lot of fun and it kind of helped me see like, oh wait, this is something I really want to do. Like I want to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to do a game show. Yeah, like a family game night type. You know? Yeah. So I was like, fuck it. Oh, you said family. I was like, forget it. Why, why can't I? Yes. Gosh darn it. Exactly. Gosh darn it. Oh. Oh, you like that? I have so many more. I have so many more. And the last time I heard someone really say, gosh darn it. It hits if you say it right. It does. It hit me. You saw how it landed. Well, gosh darn it. Are y'all ready? Gosh darn it. Are you ready to get this game night started? Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Hell yes. Okay. We are playing a game called Choose Your Battles. Because sometimes in life, you got to choose your battles. You know what I'm saying? Sure. So this game is really all about sizing up your competition and looking at what's on the board to see who you're better than. You feel me? Okay. So we all start with these four cubes. These are kind of like our points, our markers. Right? Oh my God. Did you know our favorite colors before this? I did. You did? Oh. That's so cute. Yeah. I mean, I do my research. Period. No, but that's totally fine. Yeah. I got purple. You got green. Right. See? Right. Yeah. No, it is not. Thank you. Guys, Charlie. It's a guy? No. No. So actually, a little bit of research. A little bit of research. No, my fault. My fault. Right. So we've got our four cubes. These are going to be like our points for the evening. And when it's your turn, you will pick a category first. Right? We've got Skills, Brain Games, Trivia. Once you've chosen your category, then it's about figuring out which opponent can you beat. Okay. Who are you better than? Mm-hmm. If you win, you take one of their cubes. Okay. If you lose, you give up a cube. Okay. All right? And when we're out of cubes, are we out? No. No. The winner-- Because you can get one back. Oh, because I-- Because you can get one back. Okay. Okay. Okay. At the end of the game, the person with the most cubes wins. And in this case, you're winning more than just bragging rights. I'm going to just tell you this. This is the prize you're going to want to have. Okay? Cheese. Just saying that. Cheese. Could you imagine? A block of cheese for me. It's just a slice of American cheese and do with that what you will. I cry. I'm so happy. You're going to love it. Okay. I suppose ladies first. Okay. Okay. And we'll go a clock like. Ladies first. Ladies first. All righty. I want to start off fun. Let's do skills. You want skills first? Yeah. Okay. Who's your opponent? Choose wisely. Yeah. My girl. You're going to ask me? Ask me. Oh, shoot. Okay. Who's your opponent? Who? Exactly. Who? A guy. No. This is going to be interesting. Who can hit the highest note? Excuse me. No, you go first. No, I'm first. Oh, my God. I didn't warm up. Okay. I mean, y'all didn't tell me. I was going to have to break out the vocals. Take a sip first. Okay. You're right. You're right. Loosen up the vocals. Y'all got to take a little sip. I'm good. Okay. All right. You might have something to do. I'm scared. Y'all know my voice is deeper. She said, "No, no. Y'all know I don't get that." Oh, my God. You're Toni Braxton though. Okay. Okay, Esri. What you got? Wait. Excuse me. Oh. Okay. That last one was. I heard that. I heard it. It went up there. Okay. Yes, it did. Okay. I'm going to take a sip. Okay. Okay. List as many '90s sitcoms alternate first to get stumped is out. - Oh, I'm so young. - 90s sitcoms. - Oh, so is he, how old are you? - I don't wanna say, I'm so young, so young. Your name, your name, your name. - I was gonna say Harry Styles. I thought it was the Friends theme song. - Oh, Ashby, you're supposed to be crazy as hell. - I'm gonna lose all my fucking cues. - Okay, let's see. I'm gonna go Brain Game. - Okay, who's your opponent? - I'm gonna go Brain Game. Oh, shit. - Right, uh-uh. - We gotta put that at the bottom. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - Please just take it out. - I didn't even see. I already got my excuse, so. - Okay. Can you solve this puzzle? - There's a word or phrase represented by what we're seeing on screen. - Job and job. - Job and job. Job and job. - No. - Job and job. - Job and job. - Job and job-a. - No. - Two jobs in. - Two jobs in. - No. - That's a good one, though. - Job, job, in between jobs! - Yes. - Yeah! - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Ha, ha! In between jobs. - When I tell y'all, that shit was not, I'm just sitting over here like, job and job. Like, I'm over here trying to like, move the words around in my head. I'm over here like, boba. - Boa? - Boa. - Boa. - I'm like, let me, how can I rearrange the letters? - Read the words. - Right. - Read it. - Yeah. - Thank you. - You can take one. - Why is it my cue? - Thank you. - Why the hell is it my cue being passed around? - Oh yeah, 'cause peach is my favorite flavor. Y'all, I need a little extra oomph to handle these fools next round. And these days, Well With All, a brand created for us, by us, is exactly what I'm reaching for. All right, all right, I'm coming. I'm just telling the people about Well With All. Boy, you in a rush to get your ass beat anyway? Is it your turn to choose an opponent? Oh, it is. I like that brain game. Y'all thought I was gonna go skilled. Who do you think you are smarter than? I wanna challenge you. You're challenging me? Yeah. Okay. I like that little, yeah, yeah. Okay, let's do it. I want you. Oh, wait, do I pick this up? Yeah. What's the song? The song? What's that song? It's your flippin' nipple flaring nipple. Nipple? What is it? That's not a song. What is it? Are they like jumbled? Back that ass up. Back that ass up. Yeah! Come on, now. Come on, now. Yeah, like I said. Oh my gosh, give me that. Give my man that cube. I don't want that red one. You can have Ash's cube. No, no, no, I want this. Why is my cube being picked up? Yeah. Also, roll the clip. I had that within 10 seconds. Back that, what? Did you roll? Yeah. Back that ass up. Yeah, I mean, I saw the answer on here, so I knew, but. Guys, y'all remember when he picked up that card the last round? I do remember that, actually. No, it wasn't. Oh, wow. Right. So you were pretending to struggle. Right. Wait, wait, wait. We knew the answer. But hold on, wait, was it really on there? It is. The answer is literally right. OK, what I need you to know, what I need you to know, people don't even know that I'm dyslexic. I'm dyslexic. And so, like, it takes me 20 minutes to read a sentence. Oh, yes, oh, yes. What the hell? Yeah, great. I'm trying to, like, find a community here. We were like, yeah, and so, but yes, it's true, right? It's tough. It's tough. And so it takes me a long time to read. There was no way I was going to be-- I couldn't even see them letters. Right. I was like, it's just-- That looked right to you. Damn it. That was-- that was-- OK, period. I read what I saw. Is it your turn to choose again? Yes. OK. I feel like I haven't gone. Trivia. Did I say that? Oh, have you? I've gone once. Yeah, everybody's gone once, yeah, so it's back around. Oh, my god, I'm so pick me. The way we did it. Well, me? I don't know about anyone else, but I've only gone once, so. I'm going to do trivia. OK, who are you going to choose? Cordell. Ooh, she want one of my cubes. It's not happening. It might not. Where did Rihanna find love? In a hopeless place. Of course. Hold on. Purple, please. I didn't even get a chance to process the question. So like, think about what that was. Yeah, I was-- I was still reacting to her reaction to reading it. And I noticed songs. Barbados. We go way back. I get that same Barbados. We go way-- Wait, you were-- Literally, my whole-- I was like, she's from Barbados. Right. I definitely said it, but you know, I was like, yay. In a hopeless place. Which category are you choosing, Ashley? I'm going to do brain games. You want brain games? I'm scared of skill. We-- it seems like we scared of skill. I know. I'll do skill next time, man. OK, who are you going to challenge? You. Shit. On which one? Brain games. Let me look at it first. Well, yeah. Create-- Right? That's how you read, right? I'm confused. I'm sorry. I'm-- It's like, order of operations. I don't know. That may be wrong. I did not even hear what you said until I heard her say, well, yeah, that's how you do that. I'm just a little confused. See, dyslexia. Oh, my god. That is hilarious. Dyslexia. Create the longest word in 30 seconds. Look at the iPad. OK. Uruguay. God damn. For real? Is that right? Is there a correct answer? Can I make something up? I don't have an answer on here. Uruguay-ish-y. I don't think that counts. Fuck you. They didn't say it real, right? Why you fuck-- what would you say fuck me for? No, you. Say what the fuck you're saying when you're going to fuck him. Fuck everybody. Uruguay-ish-y. It has to be a real word. Uruguay? What is happening right now? You said Uruguay. It's Uruguay. Yo. I don't want to, like, fact check you, but it's Uruguay. You might be right, but I got an accent. Yeah, yeah, no. Where are you from? Indianapolis. How many letters is it? Oh, dang. How many? Because a lot. That's not true. A winning amount. Six letters, right? Wait, what do you have another-- you have a word for it? I did. What did you have? Utility. Oh, my god. Girl, you didn't even think of that. You mean I didn't think of that? Yeah. And it gives, like, it would be a letter more than-- What the fuck do I know about utility? You said, I don't make an answer. I don't make notes. I don't know what a utility is. Don't let me fool you now. And I looked there all the way. I'm going to go skill. You know what? You know what, come on now, let's do it. Come on with it. I've been waiting. Without seeing the stopwatch, stop it as close as possible to a target time. OK, the number is 19. 19? 19 seconds? Oh, yeah, go ahead. Come on. Oh, should it be longer? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. 19, that's it. Count to three. Three, two, one. Shit! Oh, my god, really? Right, damn, you're probably at a minute now. You're probably at, like, 12 or 13. What is it? 12! Oh, my god, what wrong? I'm finna fuck you up. Oh, there it is. How did you do that? I forgot what number I was supposed to be going for. I thought you were, like, at two minutes or something. I thought it was, like, at this, like, 28. I forgot what we were doing. Make it zero. Three. Two. One. You mother-- But how many times you got to count? Because you got to have 19, or you don't have 17. Because 12 and 17, if you minus three, what number is that? Someone's talking a lot on set. Can we get some-- can we get quite a list? Uranus? Utility. Urinal. Hold up, what is it? I don't know, I'm scared. Hold up, hold up, what is it? Oh! Oh! Fuck! Yeah! Beep, beep, beep, beep. All that clicking. All that clicking. All that clicking. However, it's, wait, it says stop as close as possible to the target time. Oh, give me my six, give me my six, give me my six, no, you can take them all, but yeah, take all of them. Hold on, hold on, hold on, so I handed you, no, it says close it as possible to a target time. It does not say, no, without going over, let me see, that one's live, no, that's blackjack, and then, and then I'll take this. Yeah, take yours. Well, when did you get two? Because I handed you yours back from when I took it from you. Because you also agree that your ass should have been going up that point. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That was your body involuntarily being like, you know what, this motherfucker is right. But see, I didn't know the rules. Clearly, you don't know the rules. No, nobody knows how to specify the rules. You know what? We killing it, baby, give me a high five. Hold up, okay. That was good. No, because I'm taking yours, too. Don't get too excited. Run this shit back. Ray gave me with this, now, how about that? How about that, you know what? No, I'm coming for all of you. And if you win, I'm stealing the prize. How about that? She'll never find it. Wait, it's so funny. Why are you still closer to me? It does remind me. Don't you want to be closer to me? What, you scared? Come here. No. Can we all just get along, you guys? No. Just start it. Just start it. I'll be honest, right now, I'm having kind of like one of those flashback moments, almost like it's deja vu, you know what I mean, when you have a game night. I love game night. When we were on tour, our first tour, we stayed at a home we booked on Airbnb because we wanted everybody to be together. They had friends that traveled in town, family that traveled in town, and I wanted everybody to be on the same roof. And so, of course, they all wanted to play games that we play on tour. And somehow, we ended up playing Uno, and it became the biggest issue because it was like, what are the rules? Can you stack? What can you stack? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You keep on different rules. Exactly. Why do you keep putting flowers on me, man? Because they keep ending up in my mouth. I'm listening to this Airbnb story. I'm getting to the end of my drink. So the attune don't leave. And I'm ready. But do you stack in Uno? Do you stack when you're playing Uno with friends? Do you stack the cards? It depends on who I'm playing with. And how many people are in the circle. Because a lot of people, they get to being mad about the rules, and they're like, no, bro, you don't play like that. We don't play like that. So I don't even try to entertain them. I've been in circles or at tables where you have to, everybody has to establish the rules at the very beginning of the game. You can't change the stuff at the end. Yes. So you're saying what I should have had was on the card, not going over. Yes. The closest without going over. I mean, but still. If you're thinking technically, I would have still been closest. No matter what, if it's over or under, I'm still closer. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But every game show, if you go over, you out. If we're playing the Price is Right, and you got the showcase showdown, that's not true. If you go a cent over, you out. The cube is mine. Okay? It's not going anywhere. Right, right. What do I want to go? How many points you got over there? You worried about the wrong thing. No, I'm worried about the right thing. Let's get this game going. I don't even have one point. I actually just have one left. I have no points. And by the way, I'm a guest. That's whatever. Not giving much very guest, right? It's giving. What? It's not giving. My old rule didn't even make it on the damn thing. Well, it didn't make it on the card either. Okay. Right. Cordell, what is your category? Let me do another brand game. Who are you challenging? Challenge you. Okay. No, that's a fair, that's a solid choice, honestly. No, you know, it's okay. That's a pretty safe bet. Oh. The answer is on the card. Okay. Oh, my God. So, it's a word puzzle. I knew that other one. If you want to come back to that one. Good afternoon. Dang. Dang. Oh, wait. I had the answer. Yes. Give it back to you. Good afternoon. I was like, noon good. I was just about to say it, too. I was about to say hi to him. Right. I opened my mouth and everything. It's on camera. Right. Okay. So, you're back. Hey. Okay. I want to do trivia. You want trivia? Who do you choose? And, okay, skills. Me and Scott. Oh, shit. Okay. First to flip a plastic cup and land it upright wins. Okay. Here's a plastic cup. Why y'all get these? Man, I used to do this in school. Yeah. I haven't done it since then. Like this tight? Yeah. Or? Ready? Set. Go. Why'd you stop it? Okay. So, it turns out we'll be here all day. Oh, if I stopped it. Oh! Same time. No, but we. You're not. Which one is considered upright? Yours isn't right. This is right. Did it say on the card? It said upright. It did say upright. Oh, damn it. Oh! Get that shit out of here. Don't be a hater. You get my cube? I gave you your little stanky cube. Uh-huh. Yeah. Just kidding. Yeah. This message is a paid partnership with Apple Card. You don't even have your cube anymore. Okay. Sustain a clear whistle for the longest time. I got you. I'm going to count to three and the last person whistling is going to win. Well, I can't whistle. Well, then you're going to fucking lose this, aren't you? Aren't you? I can do a whistle note. You can do a whistle note? No. A clear whistle. A clear whistle. No. No. The instructions say clear whistle. Don't say shit about a note. Yeah. Miss specific. Miss specific. Miss specific. Miss specific. Miss specific. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. On the count of three. One, two, three. Pause. I win, right? That's a waste of my time. That was so high-pitched. Wasting my breath. Wasting my time. That was crazy. Me? No. You really can't whistle? Oh, honey. You win. No. Basically. You're like, "This shit is wasting my time. I'm done." I did. It was wasting my breath. Okay. Okay. Did you never learn how to whistle? No. Oh. What other childhood things? Let's get into it. Yeah. I'm very curious. What other childhood. Did you learn how to ride a bike? Oh. I was. Yeah. I ride my bike. Okay. Swimming, running, sports. What head do you ride with? Right. A whistle, I just. I mean, I never picked up on it. I mean, who the fuck makes that a requirement? Like, I didn't know how to ride a bike. I didn't know how to ride a bike. Like, I didn't know that was a thing that just people, everybody know how to do. Okay. Well, it's funny, because you're moving into this new phase in your life, this new era in your life, and kind of breaking some news, so to speak. What's happening? I'm learning how to whistle. Could you imagine? You're like, "I want it. I want it. I want it." You came here just for that? No. So, I give whistling classes, guys. I did take a moonwalk class, and then I just do it. I never picked that up. So, I could never moonwalk as a kid either. Anyway, that's not what we talk about. Ooh, that's a skill. A lot of people can't moonwalk. It's one of the skill cards. Ooh, I hope you don't get it. I hope I get it. Yeah, okay. So, I'm staying the fuck away from skills, but yes, a lot of things are happening. I have a very fun and new project coming out, hopefully top of the year, 2027, and I've been transitioning into just scripted acting. A word? Yes. Yes. It's been a passion of mine since I was like five years old, but never really had that much support around that career. So, I was like, "Maybe I'll just do something else in the entertainment space," but then I was- 'Cause that's why you moved to LA. That's why I moved to LA, yes. Which was to act. Which was a year before I went on the show. Yes, it was partially to act and just to get into the industry, but I got a short film with an independent director, Milan, and NAACP Studios, so I did a short film with them my first year that I moved, and then I somehow ended up on Love Island, so then I kind of like- Somehow. Somehow. Craziest thing. Craziest thing. I was like diving into whatever that- How did I get here? Literally, like, "Oh, I woke up one day in fucking Houston," but I never really wanted to broadcast that. He knew. I told him off camera during the show. Oh, word. So, that was something that we bonded off of acting. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I didn't want. I just didn't want to. I don't know, I have a lot of stuff surrounding that, but yeah, so now I'm like, God didn't put me in the place that I am now, for me to not- To not go full throttle in pursuing what I wanted to do. Hell yeah. So, yeah, I mean, we've been in our classes, I've been like hardcore auditioning, and- That's so cool. - It's been super fun though. I definitely made the right decision because I just feel so more like myself, like I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing when I'm acting. - Yes, and in the pursuit of the dream that's your original dream. - Yes, yes. - Life will take you a whole bunch of different places. - Oh honey, and I'm literally-- - Like Fiji. - Literally, I was gonna say I'm a great example of I let life take me wherever the hell it wanna take me. But sometimes you gotta reel it back and be like, okay, this was the goal, let's not lose sight of that. - No, I mean, I guess I just, what you gonna do if they say that they need you to whistle on set? - Right. - Y'all, they better crank up that damn whistle machine. Y'all saw, you couldn't tell who was whistling with me and her. I mean, acting, you better cut on the sound level. - Okay, bring me on set. I'll whistle for you. - You can't tell the difference. - My whistle double? - Yeah, my whistle double. - That's hilarious. - Literally play it back. You're not gonna know which one of us is whistling. - Okay, let's, I just wanna. - Okay. - Let's do it. Go. - Go, I'm done. - That's interesting. Okay, okay, we gonna see, we gonna see. - Oh. - You know what though? - She kinda nice with it. - It was definitely Ashby, but you know what? - Kinda nice with it, though. - But you, it wasn't too bad. It wasn't too bad. - It wasn't bad, it wasn't bad. - It wasn't too bad. And also, congratulations. - Congratulations. - Thank you. - To be able to declare, to be able to declare that, you know what I mean? That dream and that you're in active pursuit of a heart's desire is pretty awesome. - Yes, and it's super, super fun. And I mean, I'm sure we can all say, I definitely think that the industry needs a lot more of us like infiltrating that space, and hopefully I can be one of 'em. Yeah. - I love that. - Hopefully you will be one of 'em. - We will be one of 'em. - We will be. Y'all already are. Hello. - Yeah. - Hello. If nothing else, I mean, it's proof, right? Like proof of concept. Winner. Y'all did it. Y'all are doing it. - Yeah. - Why wouldn't that continue to follow? - Exactly. I mean, we're putting in the work, so. - Get it, girl. - Can't wait. - Okay, whose turn is it next? - I just won. - Yeah, yeah, it's you. - I just won, actually. - Oh, yeah. - She took mine, so that's all right. - I don't remember. - I'm gonna go trivia, and I'm gonna go Cordell. - Who is this? - Oh, I know her. Corporate Aaron. - Yeah. - Corporate Aaron. - Not McManagement. - Damn, bro. - She single-handedly got me through lockdown. COVID lockdown. COVID. - Girl, the pandemic? - That's it. - You're done. - Oh, see. - The, the, what happened? It was like a couple years ago, I was sick and dying in front of the camera. - That's the thing. You know, that's it. - Yeah. - Yeah, yeah. - No, I was there. - Let's get into how this game is rigged. - He got one more, he got one more. - You know who to go against. - I'm going against him right here. - That's what I'm saying. - I said skills. - So we're going to do skills, and I hope it's the moonwalk. - Oh my God. Thumb war. - Uh-huh. - Thumb war. - Thumb war. - Thumb war. - Come here. - Okay, hold on. Let me move the glass, 'cause I get it. - Well, wait, but you can't, you can't like move the wrists or, you know what I mean? How like people cheat. - Yeah, so we gotta keep the elbows down. - You can't, elbows down. - Hold on, babe, let's switch spots. - I'll just move back. - This is when it gets serious. - Don't worry. - She's not getting up. - She's not. - No, not unless y'all want some ass on the camera. - My arm's too long anyway, hold on. - All right, one, two, three, four.
