Funkopopification | Son of a Boy Dad #425

The podcast opens with Francis recounting how he helped sanitation workers load heavy trash cans in NYC traffic, earning admiration from onlookers and sparking jokes about his future in garbage collection. The hosts then clarify that Chase bank sponsorship ended as a normal six-week partnership, not due to any failure. They move through various topics: the value of credit card points, Russia-Israel relations, and a humorous discussion about Willem Dafoe’s anatomy and the need for a small-dick actors guild. They touch on Ariana Grande’s weight loss, Ozempic’s prevalence in Hollywood, and the “Funko Pop” look it creates. The conversation shifts to dopamine resets, with one host taking a break from weed and considering cable TV as a healthier escape. They also discuss J. Cole, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar’s rap beef, praising some bars while criticizing others. Food talk includes Michelin stars, “bib gourmand” restaurants, and the best apps for finding spots. They express concerns about Flock cameras and Texas’s contradictory weed laws. Finally, they debate the skill gap in tennis versus golf, with one host claiming he could win a point against Novak Djokovic due to his big serve, while others argue the gap is insurmountable. The episode blends humor, pop culture, and light social commentary.

It is 11.30 a.m. and we are here alive from HQ. And Francis is overheated. Francis is overheated. It's insane to me. We're the one room in the entire New York City office that just for whatever reason does not have air conditioning. Or air at all. Of any kind. [LAUGHTER] I'm still breathing in the same air that we left with yesterday. Bro, I'm tired of it. I've brought it up. And that's-- Get that hat. What are you talking about? We sell those? There's a reason why Francis is overheated. That's a beautiful hat. Francis was driving me in today. What the hell is this? [LAUGHTER] What the fuck is this? We're stuffed in traffic. What the fuck is this? We're stuck on a garbage truck. And they have to unload a full construction site worth of a ship from a dumpster. So he helped? Francis popped out. And for a cool 10 minutes was loading trash cans that were full of like building material, like drywalls, cinder box, like plywood. And he was just sweating, bringing everything in. It was-- no wonder you're overheated. You just burned 300 calories, lifting 400 pound trash cans. One, the trash cans were way heavier than I was expecting them to be. Two, I totally underestimated the amount of dust and asbestos that would be swirling. They weren't wearing masks. So I thought, well, that was a liar, yeah. I really-- I mean, I saved us five minutes by helping. I really did. I saw how much they had to load. And there was no way around them. And I was like, all right, obviously I'm going to help. But what was so funny was that at that very intersection, there were other cars stuck. Yeah. There were two construction workers across the street in hard hats watching. And then there was a truck, one of those big bed moving trucks with three guys in the cab watching. And when I got back into my car after helping, all of them were like, everyone was like, cool, man. Way to help out, you know? Like, holding the collar. They're shaking like blue collar. Blue collar, like, gosh. And that's all the softness, boy. I've always also wanted to throw trash into those trash and watch the thing. And have a little attitude while you're doing it. It's really just send it in there. Yeah, just throw it. Yeah. And it's funny because initially they were like, we'll throw it in. And then eventually they were like, you're one of us. Yeah, yeah. Go ahead. You should have been like, what time's lunch? Yeah. You got a, what's the injury pay like on this fucking gig? We get overtime. Yeah. Is that, did you say anything when you went out? Like, were you just like, do you guys care if I help? Or did you start moving? I said, it'll go faster if I help. And they were like, if you want. They were all smaller than him. Oh, of course. And they all had curlier hairs in him. Yeah, you know what I mean? Yeah, Mexicans. The best part of it was when there was one trash can that was so heavy that I carried it with a guy. Oh, really? And of course he took a handle and I took a handle. Of course, I have footage of that as well. Did you guys like, was they like fist bumps or anything? Uh-huh. There was a fist bump. Love that. Yeah. That's great, great, great, a sense of community in the city today. I, I've always been attracted to men. Of course, like that, that masculine. Specifically, you know, working class man. And if I can get a little dose of it, it just helps me feel a little less bad about how. Yeah. Process. My life is. Do you guys think, do you think those guys have any thoughts the way that like negative thoughts the way that we do? Or do you think it's just? Oh, that's insane. The cloud of fucking dust, it got, it got really thick. I could, I was like, oh, I have asthma. Sean, I may have dropped it to you right now. Can't let them know that. No, I couldn't let them know that, but I'm just, I knew within five minutes that that life wasn't for me due to my health concerns. I feel like those guys, like they probably hate their jobs realistically. I don't know. Maybe they don't. But like, I feel like a job like that, like you get home and you just pass the fuck out. Bingo. Sleep like a baby. Exactly. I need that. Yeah. Might have to pick up a side gig. Trash? Trash. Sanitation. Yeah. Sanitation. A part-time trash. Sanitation engineer. The good thing about that is that was dry trash. My dad used to be a garbage man in the summers when he was in high school or he would ride around on a truck on Sandy Hook, New Jersey. And they had some song that had to do with the juice from the Fisherman's like, wait, you know, cast off bits and stuff, they had, they had some name for it and they had a song for it that he would sing. Yeah, that's it's nasty. He said it was his like favorite job ever and that when he would work on holidays and they'd get like two and a half time pay or something like that, work on the Fourth of July, that is a good way to make money like if you're, if you're coming out of a tough circumstance, you just want to bust your ass. That movie dirty work. Do you ever watch that movie dirty work, Emilio Estevez? No, I know. And I haven't seen it though. It's classic. I guess my point is that like trash runs in my blood and trash through and through. If all of this disappears, which I expect it will someday, bar stool, not bar stool, like the New York office will be washed out to the sea. I will definitely go into trash. Nice. All right. Well, that's good. I'm glad you have that lined up. I mean, you just, you get those guys numbers or anything like, no, actually looking for work. No, I did. You should have got a card from them. What we'll do is we'll post this video with my email bottom. Yeah. It's a good idea. If anyone's looking for someone who works on their lower body to, or I mean like, they'll be back in that area. They could well be. I don't we just like same, same time in place next week because that is the, that's my crew. I there was chemistry with them, you know, definitely, they weren't put off. They were so welcoming, which most, if I know the trash world, it's that, you know, there's a lot of territoriality. Oh, yeah. But I think that's it's something I noticed in the four minutes that it took like you're gonna, they were already starting to lean on you. They were. They were starting to kind of take a back seat to you. They're like, oh, he's the strongest. Initially, they were picking up the heavier ones. And then as soon as I showed up, they were like, the Clydesdale's here. Yeah. Yeah. Get out of his way. Yeah. They were doing like kind of loose pieces like one on each hand. Leave these for the Gringo roll. Yeah. A total, a total roll. For the Nando. That must have been like what the fucking Mayan saw when Cortes landed. The Cortes have a white beard or a red beard, white beard, maybe I have no idea. Try to remember. Try to remember what my boy Cortes looked like, but yeah, that was an impressive display from Francis. And he got us here faster. We would have been stocking traffic for why'd you guys drive? Ron can't walk. Oh. Of course. I was thinking in my head, I'm like, well, I'm surprised they didn't bike. It's a pretty nice day out. Yeah. Yeah. You can't bike with that. I can't bike. I'm like, I would be, that would be really, it would be like forest gump. And he breaks free from the braces. Mike Adam by the, yeah, I need to get chased by some bullies. Speaking of chase, I would like to clear up that chase did not drop us. There seems to be a little bit of a misconception there. I'm glad you're saying, um, they just ended. Yeah, we had a six-week, uh, presenting partnership. Yeah, that's how all the sponsors are. They come on for a certain amount of episodes and then it's a gone. And maybe they'll come back, maybe they won't. You guys just thought we belonged to chase from here till forever, or you thought that we would do anything to cross our brothers at chase. Of course. Those are our, that's our family. Yeah, people are, it is like it, everyone's first assumption was like, they fucked up. Well, it's because most other brands at this company will fuck up and lose a sponsorship. That's not us. No, we don't. We are brand friendly. Yeah, we're going to keep talking about chase until they come back. Exactly. A little free ride. Yeah, we should just get the sign back up right now like, uh, we want to keep it actually. I'm closing in. I think up for my preferred guard, if you spend five grand in the first three months, you get 100,000 chase points, which, man, I'll tell you, chase points are fucking valuable. I booked that hotel in, uh, Tokyo in September. Oh, yeah. It was half off because it had this chase points boost. Damn. Where the points are worth double. I truly like half off. Yeah, yeah. I'd never seen that before. I, I'll be honest, I've never used a single point and I don't even know how to find them. I give up, man. Yeah, I know that really like that's got to be like, that's like rage bait for you. It's just like, you know, I, because like I've always just used like the miles and stuff. Like, I don't know where you even see the points. Brown. Well, I've also just been using a debit card instead to mostly just a debit card cash. And I'm just racking up a massive credit card bill as well that I'm refusing to pay off. Friends, why sick? You see anything? This is going to drive me to trash. I think the debit card is what really that's set him over the edge. I hate the debit card. I hate the debit card so fucking much. I remember when I used a debit card at like seven 11 and I was with Francis and he was so mad. He was like, you have to enter in a code. He had, he's putting, he's punching in his fucking pin code for $1.67 cent water. And I'm like, shielding the thing. So you know, I'm just saying, like, I, you know, I don't use it. I don't use a debit card ever anymore unless I have to, you know, because you shamed him. I mean, I pushed for a long, long, long time. I walked him through the credit cards. Then he told me he'd gotten one and he lied. He remained, you stayed on the debit card for another like three or four months until finally your business manager came in. Yeah, probably, but the debit card. I mean, it's when you're, when you're all liquid, debit cards are great. You're just, your cash is not making, you're not making no money on your money. And it, and it, I am now, I am now. I have a business manager who you're paying the same. The amount that you're paying. What he's earning, he's taking that's not true here. Why don't you just run this for me? And whatever you get above the number I put in, that's yours. Yeah, I want to say the same, but I want you to make something. Yeah, yeah, exactly. I want you to eat what you're doing, my business manager. You honestly, you don't talk to anybody that's not related to you or on your payroll. Of course. That's the only way to play. I want my whole team on my payroll, yeah. All my boys, exactly. Otherwise, they're compromised. Exactly. Hate to see it compromised wolf. Hate to see that. I just hate it. Hated compromise. What do you think Austin is in what sense is Austin compromised? Like is he working with Israel or Russia? Perhaps did you want to add in Russia these days? You do? Yeah, it just makes it sound better. It sounds less big at it. Or Russia, but our, uh, never mind. What is he working with the South Sudanese dissident groups? I'm so glad. I was about to ask a really dumb question and I stopped myself. Well, what's it going to be? I'm not going to say we can have the joy of I'm not going to say it. Because you didn't say it. You didn't say it. You didn't say it. You stopped yourself. You addressed it was a dumb question. So now let's hear with the question. Someone I know was wondering whether or not Russia and Israel are enemies. I actually have no idea. I don't know if they have any. I think that they are by deep proxy because I think Russia is aligned with Iran. Is is Russia aligned with? I thought I thought I was China. Well, Russia, China are both, I think, aligned primarily with Iran. It's like whoever's against us. They're with yeah, yeah, of course. So yeah, then no, I would say yeah, you're probably right. I would assume it is whoever Israel, whoever we are against, Israel is against vice versa. Yeah, we are one. Well, this is a pretty nuanced answer. Russia and Israel are not formal enemies, but rather maintain a cautious coexistence defined by pragmatic risk management and tactical deconfliction rather than a true alliance. It's kind of like the Russia's at the club. They get pussy. Israel's at the club. They get pussy. It's like they're not going to beef because like that scares away the huts. Yeah, so it's like as long as they just keep on fucking. Well, that's a great explanation. Yeah, like I fully understand it now. So stay over there, stay over there. Just don't fuck up the. I think we can honestly just end the Israel talk on that. I think that was, I think that really just hit the nail on the head there forever. Yeah, forever. I think we're done. We're done with Israel. Yeah, I've told you I get so many messages. People don't like the Israel talk. That Krop Maga is Israeli. Well, that's cool. That is cool. Well, I don't think people, yeah, people just don't want to hear me talk about politics, which is fine. I get it. I wouldn't want to hear myself talk about that either. Well, then other people should stop talking about it because that's all you see in the world. And it's like, when you keep yapping, like we're regurgitation show. Exactly. I'm just like, I'm just spitting out what I'm being fed, you know, that's all that's happening. And I'm spitting out a lot of information based on like reading half of a headline. Right. For example, I heard that Vladimir Putin is outlawing GMOs in Russia to the point of execution. Oh, well, if you, if you put like a seedless watermelon in the ground in Russia, yeah, Putin will execute you. He'll kill you personally. That's a half head long come to your house and kill you. That I read. If they don't want me to talk about that, the algorithm should stop showing that. Yeah. I agree. They don't want me to regurgitate that Putin is killing people for Monsanto, a Jason C. Don't tell me. Yeah. Don't let me know that people. I do feel like you, we can still talk about Russia. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Because there's no, they don't have a religion that's like based around them. Russian Orthodox Christians don't have the same and we just like we've always had to hate Russia. Like that's kind of just how they've been our enemies forever. Yeah. Unless you're talking donk. You know what? It's funny about Russia is that there are enemies, but I think we are a country, well, I think we have this weird respect for them, meaning you don't hear people like mock Russia. No. It's always like, man, those guys drink vodka and fight bears and live in Siberia and yeah. They could climb to the top of any building. Yeah. That's true. They're like scary in a way and really, really intense. They're not like little bitches or any no one really, yeah, you're right. No one really. That is like the general opinion. They've in movies, they're always presented as worthy adversaries. Yeah. You know, it's fucking Ivan Drago and Rocky, it's from Russia with love and James Bond, that guy who used the cord to kill him, suffocate and kill people. What's that cord called? Garot wire. Yes. Well done, Paul. Who is the bad guy in the most recent Top Gun movie? What ethnicity were they? They were those. Were they brown? Don't give it to me. Don't give it to me. No, it's it's a it's a fake Russia. It's it's meant to be Russia, it's implying Russia. Was it though? I thought it was a career or something. No, no, no. It was definitely Russia because they were so scared of being racist towards anybody that they had to do it. It's always Russia. Yeah. Yeah. They had to do like Princess in the Princess Diaries, they made up a country called Genovia. Yeah. They're so scared. They basically Princess Diaries that it's like, did you guys ever see Red Dawn? No. Well, that's career. But then they made another one that was Russia, I believe. Oh, there's two. Like Josh Peck is in one of them. Yeah. My wife said the meanest thing to me and she wasn't even trying to be mean. She hit me with that. When you retire, you should become a tour guide and I was like, damn, it's ruthless. God. I was already thinking about your retirement. Why would you? And it was she was like, you just love to like spit out facts about stuff. That's pretty much her being like, you got to get this out somewhere else. Yes. Thank you. By the way, you're never going to stop working. Yeah. She's like, you're man-splaining earth to everybody that you encounter. You will need a job for when your main job is done so that I don't have to deal with all your facts. I'd like sit her down and explain why that's like deeply insulting on like, that's a layer cake of insult. Yeah. That's a lasagna of a front to me because there's just like, no, that's, that's, that's stuff. That's so, it was so hurtful. Tour guide stuff. Tour guide is insane. Yeah. And would you be a tour guide? I would also say like, you guys get along. Right. So why would she, so why would she take this dig at me? I'm just saying I'm not that worried. You should hit her with, you should just hit her with it. You should hit her back with it. But this is the, I mean, I put a chink in the armor for sure. Oh, yes. It's like enough where it's like, okay, do I have to talk to Francis's guy? Yeah, yeah. Who's my guy? Horse lawyer. Oh. Woman. What is it? Oh, yeah. Really? They're better. Yeah. Really? Yeah. Like a pit bull. I think women, someone, Shane was, I think, no, no, I wasn't Shane. Ricky Villaz once told me he was like, do whatever you can to surround your team with women in the industry. Like, make your team, your agent, your manager, everyone should be women because they just like, they have a chip on their shoulder. They work harder. Yeah. But you didn't do that at all. No. I said, I don't want, you know, you know, your agent and manager, both men, yeah. I can't have in the middle of a negotiation, my main person, you know, going off with period cramps. Yeah, exactly. They're by fall in the mess. Yeah, exactly. That's how a deal falls apart. Yeah. They're going to want to fuck you. They're going to have feelings for you. Let's get ahead of this. Let's dip this in the butt. Yeah. It's more of a hazard than anything. Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord. It's just fucking infuriating. It's just like but boiling underneath my skin. Yeah. There's two good tour guides that you can think of. And it's Vince Vaughn from the break up with Jennifer Aniston. What is he a tour guide of in that? Buses. Buses in Chicago. Chicago. Very charming. He and his brothers run a family business. And they have a sick apartment, which like they could never get on the tour guide salary. To be honest. Yeah. That's a big. People are really honing in on that. Do you see those like the Spider-Man stuff? Yes. How people are like raging online about how Spider-Man has like a nice three. He has a nice three monitor set up and a treadmill. I mean, this is always the case. Anytime there's something set in New York City, right? Yeah. Friends. Big guy. People are like. These are loser bombs. Yeah. Live in a. But your point about Spider-Man was apartment was hilarious. Yeah. He's a he's half spider. You're worried about his apartment size. He's half spider. He's literally a man who is a spider. His wrist. His rope. And he can dangle from buildings. I also feel like if you have a superpower, you could probably find some cat. You could finagably. Yeah. You could make some cash on the side. You can reach it to the register before anybody knows exactly or you could just I would just be like, you could be a street performer. How fast are you door-dashing? Yeah. Yeah. Oh. Door-dash would be crazy. Just. Yeah. They door-dash guys are probably trying to get bit by spider. Save all your colleagues from jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. We haven't delivered yet. That will be a great. A spider-man that that would have been an incredible storyline for him. Like that basically is a spider-man storyline. There's no guys about to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge. Yeah. Have you are you guys are you guys into that shit? The spiderverse? No. No. I haven't really gotten into it myself either. I'm too old now. That series was meant for I think a decidedly younger audience. I think spider-man one. What's that? Like the Tom Holland one. Yeah. Really? I think it's the most Disney of all the Marvel superheroes. Yeah. I would agree with that. And I loved the original one with Toby with wire. Yeah. That was great. I mean I was obsessed with that one. That one. Spider-man two were both great. Spider-man three. Not so great. I don't know if I remember the third one. Spider-man three turned out it to like turning into a fallout boy video. Yeah. Yeah. It really did. It was like they had like black bangs like going down the street. There was like a musical number thing. Was that three or two? Was that two? If you like two then that speaks that's a what's the one with the green with? That might have been three. Which one? That's one. Yeah. Yeah. William DeFoe is scary in that one. Yeah. I used to be so scared of William. William. Yeah. That is a scary one. William DeFoe. That one's something new every day. William. I thought it was William. My whole life. William. William DeFoe is a great actor. He is a really good actor. William is a bit of a little boy's name though. It's a little bit of a boy's name. You know that meme that always comes up with him when he's like he's gay but he's not gay. Yeah. That's what I said. You know that his dick was too big to be yes. What's this exact story? I don't remember. He needed a stunt double with a smaller dick because he said his dick stuck out too much. So they just needed a tiny cocked stunt man. How do you even cast for that? What was the movie? Antichrist. You zoom in a little bit all of that in hand. It's physical and down. It was so large that it confused and distracted the cast and crew. It's confused. What is that? What is that? They're disoriented. How could that be? My ears are ringing. What day is it? It's like that key and peel sketch. I thought he was not supposed to have a large penis. Confused is such a funny word to use. What is that? I'm sorry. What are we doing today? Must've been beautiful. It's a good problem to have though. Stunt double for the cock. Well, it's a good job to get. If you can, it's the best small penis job because it's a really not economy for the small penis. It's got to be tough being the stunt double though. I don't know. That's what you were just saying. That's a good job. I think that if it's like getting work in the lollipop guild as a little person, that's the best job you can get in that world. I don't know if you want to be the guy that gets the call. We're looking for a guy with a small dick who's not going to confuse anybody. You got to let me read for this. We got Willem Defoe over here. He got the lead role and also his dick is too big. The role calls for someone with a small penis and then what would happen is just like how people get angry when they cast Brian Cranston in a role in a wheelchair, the crew of disabled or handicapped actors are like, we have so few role opportunities anyway. And this is like, you know, it's like when they cast a straight dude as a gay guy. Yeah. So Hollywood, you know, there's so many of us that have small dicks that could have played that role convincingly. Yeah, the stunt double is showing up and he's like, well, I mean, you know, I can't act. I feel like this role was really like meant for me. But it's like going forward, that's like a Hollywood that we can hope for. It's like how back in the day people were like white actors were in blackface. Now Willem Defoe was in small penis. Yeah. And one day, like, we dream of an equality for small penis actors to be able to, they need to start a union, you know, a small, small, small, small dick actors guild, stag, I'm a part of stag, small dick actors guild, march you for stag rights, stags on strike. It's only big dick actors working right now. One thing I will say about Will was he was very respectful of my small dick. There was no, no slight snow, I got in. I did my job and he did his job. It was simple as that. That's the yin and yang. It works perfectly together. For every big dick you see, there's like five small dicks behind making it happen, lifting him up, lifting up his dick, who made the PR for that? It's like the best PR, the only good PR after that for dicks was when, I think it was an area on a grand day was like talking about Pete Davidson's dick, which was like, and it's fucking there. 10 inches or whatever. She said, she said, someone, I think someone asked her, I was it, was it Charlemagne? I don't know. Why do I feel like it was on the breakfast club or maybe he talked about, maybe Pete Davidson talked about it on the breakfast club. You talk about Charlemagne that came from nine, oh, got it, like 10, it's not, oh yeah. And then she like, like sang about it in songs. Oh, she replied, she replied to a tweet. She said it was, yeah, and that thank you next song. She's like singing about how Mac Miller's dead and Pete Davidson has a big dick. She's a, she's going through it right now. She's going through it. Is she? Yeah, hoping, hoping she figures it out on the slate. It's pretty depressing to watch. What's wrong with her? She's got like a really bad eating disorder No, she doesn't No, you're like not a lot to say that she's a bad eating disorder. Why? Because um then you're like telling you shaming or or out of it like we're not shaming We're celebrating. No, we're concerned. We're concerned But it is like genuine like concerning like she looks really really unhealthy. Okay. Well, then now we're getting a little shaming I don't think it's shaming But it's like someone's got a fucking helper. Oh gosh. I she's like a rib cage with a jar. Yeah, super super respectfully Yeah, great singing voice Yeah, exactly. That's the thing Incredible amazing talent amazing and we have to say all this we have to say this part This podcast is brought to you by our partners at Ariana Grande One thing Ron and I can agree on is that Ariana Grande is beautiful. No matter how much she's eating We like to see her in wicked and her songs Most of the stuff I'm already spending money on it I'm good. I'm just concerned for her Yeah, I think that's kind of the general opinion is everyone is concerned for her Yeah, body body negativity took over The zempie took the zempie killed body positivity Yeah, the zempie is a, it's a nasty nasty. I don't know. What do you guys think about it? The zemp I think it's probably good for some people, but I also think that and a lot of other fuckers walking around with ball heads now But people are all wrong like like one of those pop toys or what are they called? Funko pop Funko popification of Hollywood because of the zemp But I think that it is a shortcut and it probably has helped and saved a lot of people's But also People are taking the shortcut that could get there the long way or that also don't even need to get there You know what I mean like they're taking the I mean the fucko pop is very spot on. It's exactly what they look like But it's only like some people you know some people it looks like they look good If I took ozampic I'd be Funko poppy because I have a humongous head And there's only so much sort of skin that you can lose on your face. Yeah, then head I think it's good and it's bad. I don't know I don't know why I wait to take your stance on this one holy shit, bro I just think there's a lot of people that are doing it that don't need it Yes, yeah Which is like what are you supposed to say you're not fat enough to take it Well, that's right. I used to say it with her other shit. Yeah That's so hard to sort of draw a line because I feel like there should just be like a required BMI But the BMI whole measurement is also completely ridiculous because you're morbidly obese. I'm morbidly obese What about people who just want to taste ozampic for a couple months I don't know. I don't know. Well, Dana cycles on and off Well, it doesn't work on it. It doesn't work. His surviving barcel card said that he's the only person that's gained weight on ozampic Yeah, mathematically, which is a feather in his head. I mean, what if you just took a bunch of Adderall Like what if you just started taking like, you know, I don't know if that's like a healthy way to lose weight But he's gonna stay up more hours and grind my teeth Well, I mean more so because it suppresses your appetite, but like what it like Not not so you can just get fucking cracked out of your mind. It's gonna be awake for 20 hours a day and that way I won't be lying down and not burning calories. I don't know is that when I was taking Adderall when I was a kid I weighed like a hundred pounds, but like what what oh well then what's healthier though, you know Like I don't think either of them are necessarily a healthy way to lose weight. They're both suppressing the appetite The healthy way to lose weight is obvious. It's known. It's been around this gym. No, it's it diet and exercise. Yeah, all right, but yeah What I said come on. Yeah, exactly like people can't Have necessarily the discipline to to do that or or their their body their constitution doesn't wire that way I've come away from this idea that if I don't know the people are overweight because it's their fault. I don't believe that at all Oh, you think okay, I see I think I've know enough people now who I have seen be overweight Even though they're trying not to be yeah, and I'm like yeah, there's just certain genetic factors Whatever things that unfortunately it's like a unlucky situation. Yeah, I also know the other way people like J will and like Marty mush who eat nothing but like fast food. Oh, yeah, and they're in like pretty good shape Yeah, like Taco Bell and Baja Blast for breakfast. Yes, you're like having straight Baja Blast and you cannot get fat Yeah, and that's because your god's favorite. Yeah, it's just metabolism. Yeah, god What I mean like what like if they both are just suppressing your appetite like wouldn't I don't know If it's me I'm going I'm going the Adderall the Adderall diet Yeah, because at least you'll be able to fucking grind you're gonna grind so hard I yeah grind your teeth, but you're also gonna be fucking right something good. Yeah, fucking get everything done check off your You know your entire checklist for the day clean the house with the toothbrush. Yeah, exactly I also do not care when people put in their body. No, no, I truly do not give a fuck if people take ozemic or Adderall or anything. Do you think it's the food? No, I think it's a I think I think people are born with certain metabolism They do you think like our food is just that much worse already guys today's episode is brought to you by Quo It spelled q u o the business phone system built so you never miss a call Quo was the number one rated business phone system on g2 trusted by over 90,000 businessmen who rely on it to stay Reachable and look professional every day All your calls texts and voicemails live in one place So anyone on your team can pick up a conversation see the full history and respond fast Set up in minutes on any device keep your existing number and add teammates as you grow no IT no hassle Quo's built in AI agent handles after hour calls answers questions and even books appointments So you never miss a lead even when your team is offline Quo integrates with the tools your team already uses like hub spot Zapier clawed and more helping you save time stay organized and spend less time chasing information between systems Money is on the line always say hello with Quo try Quo that is q u o For free plus get 20% off your first six months when you go to Quo dot com slash boy dead That's Quo q u o dot com slash boy dead That is b-o-y-d-a-d Quo dot com slash boy dead I'm tired of people saying that they go to Italy and they lose weight But they do They do yeah Yeah, cuz they smoke a pack of skinny sigs a day while they're over there always the who who is what what what movie is it where the guy says like He's like smoking doesn't kill you's like people in China smoke and they live till they're 130 I like it's the for they say it's the food food in America Dude there's this new phenomenon where for whatever reason people think it's sexy to post photos of themselves smoking cigarettes Yeah, I mean that's come back to the phenomenon forever No, but it didn't for a while and now it's back. I think it's an automatic ew I think that's been a thing for like how'd say the last 10 years I don't mind if you smoke a cigarette don't take a photo of it and post it Well, I think that's just like guys It's performative yeah, of course, but I think it's sexy for guys like Liam Neeson stunt double who see it It was like a phallic thing like oh, that's my size That's that's that's that looks like my penis I would rather see someone post a photo of them smoking a cigarette than people that post photos of them smoking weed Yeah, posting photo smoking weed. I view that as bomb behavior. That's bomb behavior too But I think the cigarette thing is even worse honestly. Yeah. Did you see that weed has overtaken cigarettes as the uh and alcohol I didn't know about alcohol. I think it's like the most consumed Well, I was saying most smoked thing so I don't know how many people are smoking alcohol Wow, take your word for it they're vaporizing it And that likes it right? Yeah, apparently like if you do that like you smoke the whole beer I'm gonna go home with smog a six pack. I think you can get like insanely drunk. Yeah, yeah, yeah, wait too fast I guarantee Dana beers is working on the science to figure that out right now. Yeah They got to get yeah, we got to get beer carts They have DMT in a pen. Yeah, why can't we have a bottle light in a pen Smoking on an IPA It's an acquired taste. It's here it's from Vermont Small batch We might get to a point where we're just smoking everything you know, yeah, for sure. That's just that we consumed vegetables. Yeah Time for my broccoli Hate this yeah Gross or like how they've made weed like how we used to be like 20% THC and like a beer is like 6% alcohol But now there's like 40% THC. Oh, yeah, and so now like you're gonna have like a 40% out the whole beer vape I don't think the the higher the THC I don't think I think it just makes the side effects significantly worse like I feel like there's no difference between like 25% THC and 40% THC other than you just feel worse the next day yeah I feel it big time really yeah because I have a higher tolerance now and 20% gets me whatever normal relaxed 40% gets me high but what if you just smoked more of the 20% it I don't know I don't like to do that I don't like to just pile it on that's why you have a bond I don't have it anymore oh you got rid of it Nikki took it when she got successful she's like that's mine now the not smoking is is is I don't know I don't know how long I'm gonna I'm gonna do this for to be honest what yeah I'm scared you're fucking two days in what do you mean I'm over a weekend come on back baby it's been over a week dangerous out there yeah it's safe it's safe there's like no fun what do you mean you've had the most product you were on the limitless pill all week yeah but now I'm burnt out no you're not I'm looking this your burnt out of being not I'm not being not high I'm trying to melt some fucking wax to my brain no you're gonna come back stronger than you're gonna come back in and make sure that you never leave again it's just feeling like shit's too serious you know yeah I don't like it I just feel like I mean it's obviously like how motivated you are it's making me very self conscious I don't I I mean it's obviously like a mental thing but like I guess I just associate nighttime with smoking weed and like when I don't smoke which I haven't been smoking weed it's like I feel like I I work all day and then I just get in bed and then I like I'm just like waiting to go back to work you know yeah there's no there's nothing life sucks yeah you need to get fucked up to escape from your podcast job yeah which is bad so that's why I'm like maybe I should take more of a break you're missing you you're missing the routine the ritual the grinding the rolling that's all comforting that's all nice yeah that's it's a bro make a lettuce wrap then like you can you can get that routine through other things the tactile routine get to the lot more zoko I need you no but I am like I do feel so much better and I feel like I am having more fun like I played I was playing video games with bow and mat last night like I had a blast and then I get off and then I'm just like I guess it's time to go to bed is there a world where you could only smoke right before you go to bed no that's it's a slippery slope even if I do go when I do go back I'm gonna go weekends only I think no yeah I don't think you will I think I will I think we're gonna well we're gonna get you back you're gonna come back you're gonna build back better now you're gonna be strong exactly I'm gonna build back in a healthier routine no no I think that you're gonna build back like more and and you're gonna be taking like 15 breaks every 15 minutes of the podcast to go to the bathroom like a coke head you're gonna be doing weed like a coke head yeah no I I hope not that we're gonna be pounding on the bathroom door yeah and you're gonna be like slumped in a stall now it's yeah I don't I don't like that at all well that's what's gonna happen to you now I would hope not if you don't take control of your life it's because of your endless need for dopamine I think it is to dope my dopamine my dopamine receptors are fried so that means you need to like reset them through aggressive like no no no like you need no stimulation for long periods of time you need to be under stimulated so even the slightest thing like so seeing the color red like that gets me going yeah yeah yeah yeah I think I might I think I just need to go full dopamine reset you need to stare at a wall yeah for weeks do you guys have any TV shows that you like beep beeps the funniest show I've ever watched anything new so fucking funny have you watched all of you know he refuses to watch it strictly because I suggested it I refuse to watch it because it has a female lead it's literally like it's the funny show I know I'm kidding amazing it is so fucking funny no I heard that widow's Bay show is pretty good I haven't watched it though it's on Apple TV House of Stasi on Hulu oh really good no why not that stuff is not for me how do you even know what it is well it's everywhere and I was talking to like who was I talking to you Una because Una had her on oh really yeah Stasi yeah yeah she had her on her drawing show damn so she was like none of my episodes do anywhere with with famous people do anywhere near as well as like Harry well I mean come on now big cat face talking about the face you should just have you on again honestly I mean hey why don't you co-host that show with me now I don't think that's a good idea why is that because I only have a drawing to hit from the bone only hate thing he's drawing is a nice long toe from the joint I might have to get maybe I'll start smoking sigs maybe that's next you couldn't handle sigs now I couldn't so gross I tried to smoke I smoked like a SIG in Vegas because everyone was smoking sigs yeah Stasi so very sick yeah so gross when he like you brush your teeth nine times it never goes away in that city too oh hot but also just like concrete and like unnatural well we were we were in we were in the burbs oh you were oh yeah we had a great like sick pad where were you um we were like 20 minutes outside Vegas holy shit and we had the we were right on a golf course oh yeah I could see a sick hitting out there yeah I don't know it's just not really for me yeah six you need to be back on the booze to enjoy a sick and that's intermittently yeah I literally have no interest in going back to the booze I'm going to Vegas in September really with my friends oh really for fun well it's they're expecting to have fun you're not I'm just going because I I miss them yeah you'll have fun why did they pick Vegas they like it they like to gamble they like that it's pretty hard not to have fun in Vegas I don't have fun there you will I don't like to you will I don't like it you're gonna have fun I my idea fun is like a ski trip yeah whitewater you know being outside but a casino is fun for if you're winning which I'm not and for a couple hours yeah yeah we're going for three nights that's an eternity in Vegas yeah it's a long time especially are you guys staying like in Vegas yeah we're staying at the wind only place to stay on the place yes no it is the only place to stay it's the only place to stay haven't they not really renovated the rooms and forever when was the last time they renovated the win was it Dante that had to get uh that caught a smoking room in Vegas because he wanted to hit his vape I don't know who who wasn't surprised me you guys could you should get a suite up there maybe we will I have I'm going with some heavy hitters right go with the heavy hitters get a suite with the heavy hitter some pipe playing mother fuckers yeah have a little hangover like experience is that from a pulp picture yeah I'm gonna call it a couple of them up some fucking some heavy pipe hitting mother and mr. pervert here that's after she was dead I don't know it's after he got raped yep after the rape and bud comes back as far as you and me is concerned we cool what do you guys see yourself ever watching that movie again yes yeah whatever it's amazing movie whatever it's on I'll watch because you're a cable guy yeah yeah cable I feel like it's better you getting on it you get more of a natural and you could catch it in the middle of it yeah you don't have to watch out everything from the beginning maybe I should get cable it's nice to jump into that my yeah I think cable actually might replace the weed for me oh yeah it's way easier because you kind of get a good dopamine hit of like changing the channels and then find a show that you're like oh shit something's actually on oh what a wonderful like a retro yeah it's retro yeah it's your version of TV vinyl yeah exactly because yeah I know I only have 27 channels you see that show on ESPN oh you mean eight yeah but I think that could be a good like I think that is kind of a dopamine reset in a way because it's like you don't just get to like it's almost overwhelming having to open up the smart TV and it's like what what should we watch we could watch literally everything there's we could watch anything that has ever been made rather than cable you're like some nights you're gonna have to watch a shit movie or like maybe you find a new movie that you didn't expect yeah exactly there's a it is a truly sublime feeling to click into something on cable and to pull the blanket up to your chin oh yeah and you're just there and you're just like sitting there for a while yeah the rest is when you don't even know like if you're at like a shitty hotel you don't even know what the movie is yeah you're just watching a movie yeah there's no TV god channel I'm looking up the quotes from the movie trying to figure out what movie I'm watching yeah dude I started watching the movie hamnet hamnet with I fell asleep in that one bro I'm normally in the past this would have been a I would have loved right I know it's well regarded well reviewed it's sort of Shakespeare in love meets you know Oh, I've seen this you saw I haven't seen I've seen like I know the movie okay, well anyway I've now it has been three attempts to finish this movie. I don't think I'm a third of the way through yeah That's no I watched twenty fifteen minutes of it and I am like There is nothing else that would be less interesting than what I'm doing. Yeah, I don't know how you consume movies like that It's my point because I know I I'm trying to re-strengthen my attention and muscle it has atrophied From scrolling scrolling Yeah, variety. Yeah, as you said I just always I'll watch five ten minutes of something and assume like that's why you have to pull the blanket up to your chin Like that that is a key like it because it basically it removes your hands from the situation Yeah, the blanket is to the chin you you can't scroll one thing anything one thing you guys have a TV in your room Mm-hmm. I do you watch TV like when you're going to bed. No, not really I have a TV in my room now. It's fucking awesome Is it I've been wondering if I should do that it's pretty sick especially if you have like if you have nothing the next day or whatever Like it's nice to like lay in bed and watch something. I don't do that That's not for you because you don't have a TV in your room. No, I just don't like I could that would make me feel that would make me feel really lost You feel I can just rot rot in my bed. What are you mean rot watching a fucking movie? 11 a.m. I'm not talking about 11. I'm talking about the night before. Oh, I thought you said I said like if you have nothing the next day So you don't have to worry about like oh, I gotta go to miss I miss understood I thought you meant the next day is when you're watching the moon. No, no That that's the thing that sucks is I I'm gonna get another TV because I I don't watch TV at all during the day because I Again, I like like what you just said. I don't want to lay in bed at 11 a.m. It works something right yeah So you only have one TV right now. I only have one TV what happens when you lock 18 co-workers in an office for one week to compete for a Quarter million dollars of cash. I'm gonna get a second Yeah, 4k and that second one is to is for what reason living room So that you can watch TV during the day football That's fine, but but you're saying TV for football now all you're telling me is that It's only gross if you watch TV in your bedroom during the day Yeah, as long as it's as long as it's out in the open. It's healthy. I mean. Yeah, I mean, I'm not gonna walk I don't even disagree I don't watch TV during the day regardless. I don't disagree like I never watch TV during that I don't really watch TV as it is so like I don't I play video games. You wouldn't want to watch TV You wouldn't want to watch football in your bedroom. I've done that. I've had that set up before it's it's nice But no, I would much rather watch TV like on the couch. You're just gonna screen out your crib You're gonna it's the co-robification of your crib. Yeah, definitely just gotta have you might so you're One step away from having eight screens in your living room Currently, there are three screens in my living room and one screen in my bedroom and you're gonna add a TV fourth and once you add a TV you need two side TVs for the Love how you're thinking love how you're thinking and then like two lower Computer monitors. Yeah, so you can watch red zone. What do you think do you think I do that? You think I go you think I go one regular TV or you think I go like four small TVs quad box. No, no I think you go one and then wings. We need your main one like so two side monitors vertical side monitors Vertical. I want your home to look like the lobby at CNN. I wanted to look like the fucking the scene in the dark night Yeah, exactly when you're finished typing Like I want to be able to sit at my desk and like be doing whatever and then I got my hair And then I got my spinny chair and I want to turn around and see Drake may throw in a dime to AJ Brown Yeah, it's key to have one of your TVs be on a lag so you can watch it and then watch the Replay in real time. Yeah. I love it. Spinny chair. I love it. You need it on at all angles. Yeah But yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what I'm gonna do Then you treat yourself and then you get out to Queens and you just fucking you stretch your goddamn legs. Oh, yeah Legs are getting stretched. That's for damn sure you have some delicious Queens food I got the Michelin app. There's a lot of Michelin restaurants have Queens grow. Yeah, all the food out there's insane Well, they probably have a lot of the bib gormons out there. What does that mean? I was looking up. What is bib gormon? Bib gormon is really good food really good value. Oh They're like awesome awesome restaurants that don't they're not quite fancy enough to have a star Yeah, but they doesn't mean they're there worse. I some of my favorite restaurants are bib gormons Oh, so some of the stuff on the Michelin app is a Michelin star's bib gormons. Yeah, and then they even they have that and then they also have Do you have the app? No, I just don't aware of the bib gormon system without even Yeah, I mean how many Michelin star restaurants are there even in New York? Oh, there's so many if you count bib gormons There's like 40. Oh two stars. There's probably like 12 what's the three stars? There's probably like four in fact I bet you I could name the three star restaurants is is labor and unden one of them. Yeah, for sure Oh, four Charles one of them. No, no four Charles might have one star, but I don't know See that's where the system is broken to me because four Charles in my opinion should have five stars Yeah, but there's it's like a different it's so much more about the food and the service and the preparation of the style of cooking and there's like like almost Trophy generation diversity quotient where it's like your Cambodian and your many food needs to have like representation too Yeah, so it's like you there's gonna be a place that has a Michelin star That's by JFK where you can get Trinidadian food shit like that and it's like yeah, that's what Queens feels like a lot of the places in Queens Feel like somewhere that like Anthony Bourdain would go. Yeah, you're sitting on a stool. Yeah, exactly I want to hear you try and name them the places with four stars. I know I know Mosa got relegated to Yeah, rats. No, it's bad. Oh, they got big. I brought down Maligated. Oh my by the way, why congrats to me? I was congratulating them. I brought up but I misunderstood no they got taken down to two Which is bad for them because I think they're the single most expensive restaurant in New York city. They were Never recovered from that. Correct. It's not good The top ones are a burner down I Think it's another one is oh Boy, I'm not you know, there's one you should know and there's three I'd be shocked if you knew the mark for June No, it's not three stars per se is three stars. Yes, per se exactly right pole. Rico per se is Gabriel Krueyther. Why not? Close though Wait, wait, wait, wait, one of them is Daniel. No Then Norris Penny, but salute to Daniel Penny Wait, don't tell me keep you guys keep on robberton near on the Tomics is two stars and it should be three They said the Tomics is not and of course you think that low condo bear days is Is that the one that robberton neurons? I've never been I Don't go to these dumb ass restaurants This shit is all dumb. I want you guys to know that I'd actually like I support One of the Japanese I support you guys being more into like the fancy like wine and stuff like that than this bullshit That's what this is yeah, but this is it's a scam. You're being scammed no wine is way more of a scam than this no I went to labor and identity it is a scam certainly not certainly is How did you not enjoy the food you tasted? I'll get I'll get the lobster and then they bring it on into tic tac It's a tic tac sized lobster You go wow that seems like it would have been good if there was more of it So if you ran the Michelin star program Like red lobster because they have big lobster. Yeah, exact bro I if I would go to the red lobster a hundred times before I went to labor and identity again. That's insane Diet Coke and one of those cool cool cups one of them you know the sommelier Oh, I'll have medicine Park is three stars. Yes. Yes. Wow. That's a Korean one. I don't know the girl sick Sushi show Yeah, I don't really snap it up for sushi show I think the two stars are there are the ones you want to hit though If you really want that level of like high cuisine because they're the ones that are fighting so fucking hard to get a third star So what is four trials do we confirm? 'cause that's, I'm basing that as the number one. in New York for me. For my cuisine, my taste, my preference, my wine taste, they have all of my favorites. Red, white, house red, house white. Just quickly, Tyler, would you look up whether or not four Charles has a designation under Michelin? Or they're simply a bib gourmet. They could be. Which I doubt they would be because I don't think that their prices would suit that. Does not have a visual in the star. It's a recommended. It's a recommended. It's still noted. Well, Michelin doesn't have to be your only food recommendation site. I mean, the infatuation, I think does a good job of recommending food. Yeah. Eater is the best. Eater. Every, the Eater has in all the top cities in America. It has the, for whatever reason, the 39 best restaurants in Chicago, the 39 best restaurants in. But there are social media presences infuriating. I think they're the ones who are like, if you go to London, you have to try this burger that's going to change your life. Run, don't walk. Yeah, that's the, that's the Eater cadence. But the thing that, the one thing about Eater that I do really like, belly actually. Yeah, that's belly. I don't like belly. That's belly. Um, the one thing about Eater that I really like is that you can go to the map and then see which restaurants are near you. Hmm, which I think you can do on infatuation too. I think they have the food on Michelin too. Yelp. I think everyone has integrated the map. Yelp, they probably, Yelp is like, they're like, here's their hot dog stand. It's great. There's too many. There's too many restaurants on Yelp. Yeah, they got everything on Yelp. Yelp is, Yelp has, I think, surpassed like Google maps and Apple maps. I don't like Yelp. It is the map. You could type in like, I need to get an eight gigabyte flash drive and they're telling you exactly where to go. Yelp has like, there's too, too many people can offer their input where it's not, not a reliable narrator. Hmm, but if they have a shit ton of reviews, you know, this place is incredible. Yeah, I don't know. Yelp's not for me. I was, it's too poor for you boys. It's the poor man's belly. Hungry. Yeah. Yeah. I opened my social media on Monday morning and I saw a picture of my good friend, OBS filming the J Cole concert. Oh, really? From he was at a beautiful video black and white of J Cole performing. And I realized that I had tickets to that J Cole concert, beautiful floor seats to the J Cole concert that I bought for my wife. And I didn't know that I had tickets to the show until the Barclay was at Madison Square Garden. How did you not know that you had tickets to that? I just didn't know when the show was. Oh, it seems on the Perkies. I was on the fucking OXies. The Rocksies. What are Rocksies? I think they're just like super strong OXies. I don't know. It's like a street, I think it's like a street drug. I remember a friend of mine used to have those on him. Oh, really? Yeah. Are you guys still close? No. Yeah, it's not surprising. But this was like probably 2012. And he called them Rocksies. A Roxy code on strong prescription opioid pain medicine. It's a brand name. Yeah. All those interesting when you come up with a brand name for a drug. What the fuck are they thinking? Yeah, why do they have to make them sound so cool? Like Rocksies? That sounds cool. Well, Rocksie Codon is not cool, but then if you can, oh, you know, abbreviate it to something cute, takes the sting out of it. Zanx. Yeah. Zanx is just a made-up word though. Yeah. Like their tech, like they just wanted to make a cool word, even like Moon Jarrow is just like made-up. It's just a made-up word. It's not based on anything. It's not like a chemical compound. No. How are they coming up with that? Maybe it's like that. Maybe there's just some dude whose last name is Rocksie Codon. Matt Rocksie Codon. Oh, for the Rocksie Codon family. Dude, I can get a table anywhere. Look at the Rocksie fortune. Rocksie Codon for two. I felt so dumb having not made it to the concert. I would have been limping up there, but it would have just been sick to see Jay Cole. I like Jay Cole a lot as Jay Cole come back from his fall from grace as a result of being sort of I don't know if he really fell to be honest because he just got out of the beef. Yeah. I think he started the beef and then he kind of just bailed at the right time. Didn't people say he was a bit of a pussy? Yeah. I mean Kendrick said there's three goats left and I say two of them hugging and kissing on stage. And that's Drake and Jay Cole were hugging and kissing each other on stage. Essentially, yes. What? But I think Drake also had words, had choice words for Jay Cole after the beef or during his last album. I think Drake had some choice things to say about Jay Cole. They said mean things to him and he didn't come back, which I thought showed maturity. Yeah, me too. I don't think he wants. He's not he's not about that. He's above that. His therapist is just fucking up the rap game. Yeah, exactly. His therapist is like, don't respond. He's good sober rap. That's what mean to me, my friends. We say Jay Cole sober rap. Drake Cole expressed his lingering disappointment. Drake expresses lingering disappointment during make them pay. I like. I like Jake. I like Cole. I like all three of them to be honest. No, that's not that's not an exception. I know that's controversial, but that's not acceptable. I don't like Drake. Like I don't love Drake's new music, but his old music. It's just undeniably amazing. Who Drake? You don't like his new music, did you say? I just don't really listen. I really just listen to if you're reading this, it's too late on repeat. You know that he has been the leading streamer every month of this calendar year with like at minimum 1.6 billion streams a month. It's pay to play. What? Yeah. Also, that has nothing to do. I don't I don't I don't I know Drake is still got a lot of ninja here. It's just not really. I know Drake is still very big. It's just not the new stuff. It's not only my cup of tea. I just hate to hear a lost ninja like you. I don't like Drake grass being a straws regurgitating narratives. Go back to the Israel. I don't like Drake any extra stuff. Go back to the Israel stuff. Yeah, I liked you more when you're on weed and Israel. Yeah. Now a lot of people did. I'm a. I've been getting I will say since my since my cook break, I've only been listening to rap. None of that. None of that lame shit. I was listening to before. No, mom for the sons. I'll tell you that much. Too angry. Just too pissed off to be listening to that. Yeah. Fuck a big three anyway. There were too many chefs in the kitchen. It was a mess to begin with. Boom. That's Drake. That's Drake. That's the bar. We cast bar. I like that bar. Weak bar. Chess in the kitchen mess to begin with. No, I understand. No, no, no. You don't get the syllables. You have to hear it. To know it. I said the kitchen. I was a mess to begin with. That's fucking multi syllable magic right there. I think he just got buried too bad. He just got buried me. I stood on 10 T's and accepted the mission. That's the same rhyme scheme. I'd rather death and death and submission. Same rhyme scheme. That's multi syllable. How can you press the ignition and let some memories of your past affect your decision? That's insane. Chefs in the kitchen. Says who? Bro, I honestly will. I'll have him come and I might have jobs come and do it, bro. Honestly, honestly, it doesn't even have to be jobs, bro. Look, I respect Drake. You're going to party come race. Probably in my top five most streamed artists. Oh, wow. I'm a Drake fan. I like Drake. I'm just saying the new stuff doesn't do it for me like the old stuff, dude. There's nothing wrong with that. You didn't listen. I didn't. Yeah. So that's your fault. That doesn't mean it didn't do anything for you. I'm sorry, bro. I'm sorry, bro. He gets in. He's coming off. We eat. He knows. You know, I'm a little moody, right? Yeah. You're picking fights. I'm off my bad, bro. He's trying to start shit. He's that he's being a goof like he actually has obsessed. I think Kendrick's probably my goat right now. I'm sorry, bro. It's just it's undeniable. Like what what a thing did he say that you liked everything? Like what? Everything. Like what's the thing? Yeah, exactly. Mustard. I love that shit. How did he come up with that? Come on, bro. You know, he's a better, he's a better rapper than Drake. Don't even play. Good kid, Mad City. It's a master. Great, great album. Are we talking about the one from 2012? Yeah, but they're all years ago. I tried to listen to Pimp a buck to to Pimp a butterfly all the way from start to finish. It was like watching hamnet. That one's that one's a little. It's exactly the same as having it. And you just kind of like wake up from a nap and someone's screaming. And it's just like, whoa, didn't do it. But what's it could do? What was it? Damn. Was that one of them? That was one of them. That album's great. That had swimming pools on it. No, that's that's good kid, Mad City. Swimming pools is amazing. That's cornea song. Okay. Corny. I remember some kid came up to me once and he was like trying to explain it to me. Like when I was in high school, it's like it's about like how bad alcohol is. And I was like, yeah, I know. Dude, it's pretty straightforward. It's not like there's no Easter eggs. And that's song. You get hell with a gram. I think you get life in prison. Yeah. I saw Casey Muscreves. No, it's not even just weed. It's like Delta. Yeah, that shit's all illegal now. All the hemp. Oh, they went backwards. Yeah. Apparently 70% of people in Texas wanted it to be fully legalized and then they made it way more illegal. It makes you just think like what's Rogan even doing down there? I know. Right. What's happening down there? Because I'm pretty sure I watch Muscat and Rogan fucking chief in devil's let on the fucking set in Texas. Also Texas. Like, I don't know. Didn't all those guys move down to Texas because they were like, we got to get out of California. It's to government to government heavy. And now it's like if you smoke weed, you go to prison. This is the forever fallacy of like. Yeah. All the all the red states have strong bands on things like, you can't sports gambling in Texas, right? Now you can fully. I mean, prediction markets have opened up all different types of like draft kings is legal in all states now because the prediction markets. What can you even bet on sports on that? Yeah. Of course. Come on, bro. What fuck? This is all fucking retarded. I think you can't smoke weed, but you can smoke Delta nine. Now you can't. You can't gamble, but you can do prediction markets. Like, what are we doing? It's just so fucking stupid. It's an endless cycle of loopholes. Yeah. Like, like, just legalize it if there's going to be all these insane loopholes. You got people smoking fucking angel dust thinking it's weed or two K. Yeah. I think it's the tax rates in California are pretty bad though. Oh, definitely not just the government's big, but like the amount that you're getting taxed and that you have to be trans. Yeah. That's crazy that they're making that a law that you have to be trans and they're using the flock cameras to find all the cis white men and kill them. You know, that's what the, you know what, that's what the flock cameras are. Is there an attack on straight white man? Oh, cis whites. Yeah. Well, you'd think that but then I listened to the brother Matt Walsh just talk about how good flock cameras are for like 30 minutes. He's constantly arts. You're supposed to be against this anyone who's pro flock cameras compromised. He's like, this is a time when a flock camera stopped a crime or like helped catch someone who did a crime. So like, that's insane. Yeah. Who is caping for the flock cameras? I have no idea. What is the flock camera? They're privatized. It's 1984. You've read 1984. Yeah. It's just around around surveillance. Yes. And at in all places at all times, a flock camera is an automated license plate reader system used by law enforcement, private businesses and HOAs to capture vehicle data. Each solar or battery powered roadside unit typically doesn't matter. It costs $3,000. Data captured snaps high contrast photos of license plate vehicle make model color uploads. But it's not just doing it's not just capturing. But why is this such a big deal? I genuinely don't like I'm just capturing. I'm just talking out of my ass. It's not just capturing cars. It's capturing like human images and like it's using data to like be like this guy's walking on the street with a description of them. Yeah. So is this everywhere or is this just in certain states right now because I haven't seen these in New York. I think it's in certain like places and neighborhoods and I saw like I know people are like destroying them when they see them. Yeah. It's probably a bad idea. Why? Because they're recording you. That's right. You have to sneak up from behind. Yeah. Honestly, that's what crop wire should be used for. Yeah. Just go. Yeah. Taken out the flock cameras. Oh no. He's choking me killing the AI with your hands. It's a big. It's a big hot button topic on the debate shows. Oh, it's a big, but it's a buzz right now. You got to hear what Riley Gaines has to say about flock cameras. I was trying to talk to my buddies about it last night. Just completely just making shit up as I usually do. But I was just just just just you know, just trying to start something. Yeah. Get the you know, get a go. You guys hear about these flock cameras. Yeah. Bad news. You actually you floated it on the last episode of son of a boy, dad. Oh, yeah. Nobody bit now. But now we're here. Yeah. That was waiting. Yeah. Yeah. It was only a matter of time before we got into the flock cameras. Francis, you need to you need to check this out as a serious infringement of our liberties. Now Francis will be pro flock camera. Unfortunately. I don't know that I will be. In fact, I don't think I would. Yeah. See? Love that. Love that. I don't think flock, walk a flock of cameras. Walk a flock of cameras. I would pay for 100%. Yeah. Cameras that just started recording walk a flock of 24 hours a day. Yeah. That would be amazing. There's cameras set up around the entire country tracking specifically walk a flock is moved. Saddle lights just honing in on walk a flock. I was kind of picturing like full walk a flock as with cameras for as eyes that just on every street. Just like a full like animatronic walk a flock on in every like private community. I like that a lot. But yeah, really, you know, is it is is that our is that our freedom of. Is that journalistic integrity? Is that freedom of the press? It's not exactly the press. It's kind of just surveilling. It's just surveillance. Yeah. I've done something nice in my life, which is that as I have checked out from keeping up with the news, I have also allowed my opinions to dissipate. I think most people go the other way. It's a bad. This is bad. We go less informed. What are we get stronger opinions? You need your opinions. I don't want to have opinions. Nobody needs to know what I say. Disagree. And it's weird to say that speaking into a microphone, but again, I just hope that nobody takes a single thing I say seriously. Oh, me as well, because I know I'm wrong. Doesn't I think that Japanese think that like if you if you know a lot about politics, you're a nerd. Oh, yeah, they don't give a fuck about politics out there. Yeah. They think it's uncouth to be like, uh, busy yourself with the everyday politics. And most of the guys like running for politics are like in like a barney outfit or like a fucking full yellow suit with like spiky hair. Like, but do they have watch cameras in Japan? I'm actually probably. They probably do. They probably got something way behind them. Oh, shit. They're probably filming you like three or 12 or they did a they made people, uh, they make noise when you take a picture because people are taking too many upscirts. Oh, yeah, yeah. Cause so so maybe they're fighting against that. I don't know. You'll be boots on the ground. What are you leaving for Japan? Are you going to Japan first or Las Vegas? Vegas to Japan going to figure in fucking war dogs middle of September and then I'm going to go To Japan at the end of September. What? You're going to Bose in September I'm only going to Japan for four days a lot of MQDs Good God You're trying to go around that fucking MQD wheel twice The year you think this could be the year For 360 no, you know, we're not going to talk about it. It's not going to happen Did you I think Big Hat announced that the internet invitational is going to be next week did he I think he said that on the act Oh really? I'm pretty sure that's great. Oh, yeah That's I'm really excited to see him actually he was so fun last year It's like there is definitely something really fun about Not being in the tournament you get to relax and just oh, yeah jokes and hang out with really cool and funny people Yeah, it's probably a blast Everyone who I've talked to who I've mentioned that I'm very very nervous about it tells me that I'm playing with house money That's not true No, not at all. I'm not playing with house money. What where would the house money be they're like we already won it once It's like yeah, and now there's an entirely new competition happen. Yeah, and the prize has what quadruple Yeah, yeah, if anything I was playing with pesos before yeah, yeah, now we need this bad you're playing with Japanese yet We need it. I think we should get a flock camera if you win Just get out get one of our own because you said it said personal businesses have them like we could have one Hmm just get one just mounted right there. We should record our podcast via a flock camera We're like via a network of flock cameras like we just travel in between flock cameras. I mean 20 25 to $3,000 a year like that's Ain't that much speaking of business. I saw a kelly keeg standing on business yesterday With what you know that guy Kareem? Yes, the guy that we work with The guy who's been here for like eight years He's though. Yeah, Kareem was giving her a hard time about talking about Austin. Oh really at this Concert that they were at What a weird conversation for a concert No, no, that Austin was at. Oh, I don't think they like ran into each other at a concert and started arguing about Austin No, I don't think that's what it was Either way Kelly went you you know you she rises she rises to the occasion and I watched that happen and I was like Yeah, I don't say to Kareem She was like what are you saying we'll say that louder because then one of the people started robby started filming Mm-hmm, and then Kareem kind of wilted Mm-hmm. Kareem was like you're you're talking about my boy and I went He's like gets one of my boys. I was like how many boys do you have Kareem? I was doing that. I was ruining it for everybody That's fun, but it was fun for me Yeah, I love right. Yeah, but I was also I was also deescalating by inserting humor into what was Mounting into an armed conflict. I think Kareem was the one who I was talking about yesterday that would cancel the cancel his door-dash orders or say he say they didn't get delivered. Oh, yeah I sound surprising at the risk of exposing myself to his burner army Kareem said that he grew up Playing Call of Duty and that he was really really good at it when he was younger. Sure like it's like if you were like like we had me in me bow and Matt were talking about last night because bow started playing tennis And really? Yeah, he's getting into tennis. Why'd you bury the lead But I was getting into tennis. What's the one of that I play tennis? I'm sure yeah Um, he's getting into tennis. What does he though? I don't know You need to know right now. Yeah, maybe I mean, he'll listen to this. Let's see. Listen to every episode. Well, I'm playing tennis. I mean, I have always played tennis Every episode and it pisses me off so much it tennis runs in my family my mom was an all-american tennis player in college. What yeah First class of women at Princeton. She was an all-american tennis player. Jesus. That's pretty impressive. Yeah, so yeah What yours was she a Princeton? I don't know 1950 something. No, that's when she was born um Must have been in the 1970s probably the late 1970s And that was the first year of women there. Let me look at see what So Matt uh, his brother is like insane at tennis like like that's like all like that was his whole life pretty much until like the last couple of years And Matt therefore is also good at tennis and bow was pretty much arguing that he thinks that he could he could Beat Matt in tennis after playing. I think he said he has played eight times and had two lessons And I was like he and he was like I can hit the ball over the net And I was like brother. There's a there's there's more to it than just that like the the skill gap is still He bragged to you that he can hit the ball over the net. He's lost. He's he's completely lost Is he four? Yeah, he might be I can hit the ball over the net. Yeah, that was his big standing point That's like I'm never gonna play with him. He's way too far behind me. Yeah, he is but were you hearing this? Fuck you I can't believe you thought You could play tennis with me. Do you we were also debating if what what's a harder sport to get into Golf or tennis golf they said golf. I said it's the same Getting to what I would call scratch in golf, which I don't know what we're not even talking about that I'm just saying to a proficient level or a high proficiency level in golf is far harder than a high proficiency level on tennis in my opinion I don't know I know but you haven't played it you've played golf at a much higher level than you've played tennis I don't know if that's true. I grew up playing competitive tennis Yeah, but you played golf against you've played golf with professional golfers. Yeah, I don't compete with them now Yeah, you just like there among them I don't know the way that I said the way that I saw it in my head was like if you're playing tennis against someone even if like I I feel like Like I feel like if bow was to play tennis against someone who's really good at tennis like he would never even have seen the ball come at him that fast Like he wouldn't even know what to do with himself. Yeah, he'd lose six outs. Yeah. Yeah exactly like it's not like just because you can hit the ball It doesn't mean that you're gonna be able to hit the ball against yeah, but if I played match playing golf against a fucking PGA tour professional I lose every single hole Maybe I wouldn't lose every hole, but I'd lose Quickly, but you don't so you don't think you would lose every every like do you think that if I played Novak jokavitch in a full set of tennis On my surf I might win one point. I might win one point per game Per game. I don't think you're that most single point the thing is is that I have a big serve. You're probably right I probably yeah, I think you might have a unforced error though. I think I I hit my serve. I was I had a big serve But it doesn't matter because the he goes up against people with the biggest. He's gonna get everything back Yeah, you're right, but I do think I just have a big serve. I don't take your But this is like me being like I my serve is so big that when like like when I'm tired They have to bring in people with small serves to You're not getting a single point. It like makes people I hate confused my serve confused Your serve confuses people who don't play tennis But if you were going up against the one of the greatest tennis players of all time His serve would make per your serve would make perfect sense to him You're not there would be no confusion about yourself. I'm just saying like if I I could hit A fucking bomb flat serve out wide That would once, let's call it once in a set, once in a set, he might not get back. He might, he might just, he might not get it back. And there's a point. It's possible. That's a point, right? Yeah, that's possible. But I walk off, I walk off a point in game, I'll, I'd call it, I think I would win. I think it's the same argument I could win four points in a set. I think it's the same argument as people saying that if they were, if they were to get in that bat, a hundred at bats in the MLB, they would get, they would get a hit. I don't think they would. So there's only one way to, to sort this out one hit out of a hundred at bats. Yes. Someone who's played baseball, not obviously not someone who's played it like professional high school baseball, high school baseball, I don't think someone's gathered in a single hit. But didn't Marty much like hit a ball off that college college, D1. Okay. So you're just discounting him. Well, D1 college baseball is obviously closer to the MLB than high school baseball. Sure. But he, he hit against that guy. I just feel like I, I feel like it's just didn't go to hit. The professional is just everything is just faster and, and, and perfect. Like I, I feel like you're getting up to bat if you're like someone who's confident that you get a hit and then all of a sudden the ball comes at you faster than you've ever seen anything move in your life. What do you think is harder returning an Andy Roddick in his prime serve or a Ben Shelton serve right now or hitting a 100 mile an hour fastball into the play? It's, I mean, it's hard for me to say because the both of those are so insanely far fetched for me. I don't think I would do. I don't think I would make contact with either. The only reason I would say tennis is because I've played tennis. Yeah, I've never played tennis. Whereas I'd have no frame of reference for hitting 100 mile an hour, fuck, I'd just close my eyes. Yeah. I would be terrified in both scenarios. I'd be less terrified in tennis because you can stand all the way against the backstop. Yeah. That's true. I don't know that your mom was at Princeton at the same time as John Nash. That's a good question. I don't know. She was class of 1973. I don't want, I don't want to bring it back to video games again, but I'm going my, my reference point here is that I've played Call of Duty my entire life, right? Over probably 20 years I've been playing Call of Duty. And I spawned in at that tournament and the people that I was playing against, it was like, it was like, you watch professional call, I watched the professionals play and in my head, I'm like, I could get it. I could, I could, if I was, if I was dropped into a team with three other bros, I could hold my own. And then you get out there and it's like, you, oh my god, like I don't even know what's happening. Like the, like the difference from people that do things professionally to people that have done things as a hobby, even like a, like very serious, like they say, if you drop someone on fourth mic with us right now, they'd be, they'd be lost. Exactly. They wouldn't know what to say because they'd be like, what are we talking about? Willem, the foe still, it's just I feel like people don't remember that these people dedicated their entire life that would go to the top 200, yes. Like those people their entire life was dedicated to returning a serve. One of this is to get away from anything. All I'm doing is trying to decide whether or not I think the golf or the tennis is harder. Yeah. It's a good, it's a good debate. I'm the, man, it's crazy. Marty Fish had a very good interview excerpt that I saw about this. Oh, that's what I thought I said he was fatter and I said, you're Marty Fish. Marty Fish said something about they were like, what's harder golf or tennis or something? He said that winning a may, I think it was like winning a major in tennis or winning a major in golf and he said it was, he said that in tennis, it's so fast that you can't like adjust on the fly or like it's over before you know it's all happening so quickly where it's golf. There's so much time to tense up and think about what's happening and closing out a major. I think he ultimately came to the conclusion that winning a major in golf was harder. Yeah, I could see that. And this is a man who plays really good golf and obviously really good tennis. His that documentary at Marty Fish was so good. Oh, about his anxiety. Yeah. Marty Supreme. Got me through it. Got me through a dark time. I thought that was really good and I also thought it was amazing when Andy Roddick said that he was the only player he'd ever seen who kind of in the later half like switched into that second gear. Oh, yeah. Yeah. What it need, what need you need to do. Yeah, that was pretty interesting in order to actually be that good because I remember thinking that and being like, okay, well, so I just haven't found my second gear yet. Yeah. You still waiting to find it. Well, I was, I always think about clicking into it. I'm like, some point soon, I'll really put the pedal to the floor and then you remind me that it's not cool to do that. No, I feel like I'm starting to hit my second gear. Can you tell him what you were telling me in the car? What is that? I don't know if I'm allowed to say it. I don't think I want to talk about that yet. I think I don't think I want to talk about that yet. It was that it was news that was, it was the most excited that I've been of any news that I've received in 2026 very soon, very soon. I'll talk about that if that becomes something. And even if it doesn't, then I'll tell how funny it was that I thought it would. But it's funny. Talk about a fucking tease. No, I'm not trying to tease. I apologize. I feel like I'm being teased. Do you feel teased? I feel teased and I feel like a fool. I feel foolish and like an outsider. I mean, maybe I'll tell you after we're done. I don't want to tell me, I don't want to put that out into the world because it's, it's like what, um, um, Emperor fucking, what Caesar says about Rome, which is, it was, it was, uh, Julius Caesar in Matt in Gladiator before they, what the old man before he dies before a communist kills him. And he's like, Rome was so delicate, uh, you even, you, you would only whisper about it and it might disappear. Yeah. Is that him that says that? No. And then I was like, I know I'm breaking in some pipe laying mother fuck. Yeah. I'm lost. Fuck up Rome. I'm completely lost now. Now I'm thinking about is what this is. You and me are good. What this is? Does it, does this benefit? The dream of Rome was so fragile that anything more than a whisper would make it vanish. Is it, is it something about the show? No. Marcus Aurelius. Yeah. It's completely different. Hmm. Marcus Aurelius. No. Aurelius that said that. Uh-huh. No way. That was fucking Aurelius. Is LeBron coming on the podcast? This one? Mm-hmm. I'm just trying to guess what, what this could be. No. You're in touch with LeBron. Do you see the Jalen Brown one skydiving? No, I didn't. He's out on him. He's not on the Celtics. Yeah. I don't watch him anymore. Got some bomb. He wants. Got some bomb. Enjoy your Twitch streamer. You're so hurtful, bro. I just don't know why. I'm ruining on that team's downfall. Enjoy when AJ Brown gets four catches for 30 yards and he goes on the janky rondo stream. We don't need AJ Brown. You don't. We don't need him. Clip that. You don't need him. We got Booty. Booty's getting traded, bro. I'll come out now. Since fucking. Come on now. Booty's a Patriot forever. All right. I'm expecting a big break out here from Travion Henderson. Usually the stuff he's been saying about God. Of course. He fucks with him heavy. He fucks with him so heavy. And I love that. I think he's making AI post about God. I think that God fucks with Travion heavy too. Really? Well, he wouldn't need AI to talk about God if he just could fucking speak from the heart. You think Travion's going AI? He reads like an AI post about God. I hope not. AI say something glowing about God. I'm actually put that prompt in. Do you think I've kind of wanted it like I've thought about this like if you do you think if you I know Ben Avery did this. He did like he tried to get engagement like he tried to like engagement bait enough on Twitter to like see how much money he could make. I'm I'm wondering like if you were to just as a side hustle just create a fully AI account like how fast do you think it would gain traction and like how fast you think you'd like start making actual money with it? It depends what type of AI you want it or what type of content you want to do. I mean, there's really two options or or like politics/tech guy that doesn't exist on Twitter. Who would be better but like that will require more input in your AI to create like realistic core pictures. Yeah. I think it's just like long ass essays on Twitter. I think anti like like like racial stuff. I think we'll go crazy. Yeah, exactly. I know there's like know how they in Fight Club when they like killed the guy and like 20 of them take took took his place. Yeah. The same thing is happening right now with Chud the Builder. There's a bunch of new Chud's there's Mexican Chud the Builder. No. Come on. Dude, who's called Mexican Chud the Builder. Yeah, but you can't be chud the Builder if you're Mexican. It doesn't work. I mean, it's working. He's just saying the N word to people's faces. But it's a Mexican like they people are expecting that already. The Mexican say it more than black dude. Say it. You know what's like presenting honestly. All right. All right. Good. All right, we will see you guys next week. Thank you for listening. Goodbye.
