Like I say, it's such a lot of unknowns about how good we're going to be or how bad we're going to be. but I think we need to pick up points in the first five because you don't want to go after the excitement of break and have them free great fixtures with all the pressure in the world that we need to get something. so yeah, yeah, but like I say, it's a dirty game season, you've got to play everyone twice. You mentioned those free fixtures, you've got the free promoter clubs in a row between game week six to eight and a lot of FPL managers are possibly going to wildcard in game week six and that's going to be very difficult to overlook those free fixtures at that point. What I have said is, if you're in the shit after game week eight, then there is real reason to be concerned. I wouldn't be concerned after the first five because I probably think you've got one of the toughest sets of opening five, but if it's really struggling after those free promoted ones, then I think there's real reason for concern. But as said, a lot of people may wildcard game week six over the next three weeks afterwards obviously, you've got the moment on the schedule, the best run of it. Talk to me about your new forward, mate. Garcia and why FPL managers may well be looking at him at that point. Yeah, I think he's feeling at a really good price, and six million, very good price for him. Look, if you look at any player, there's compilation on YouTube, you're going to think, while this guy really is the business. But, you know, he was joined Topgullscore at the club World Cup last summer. He scored a really, really good hatchet against Railbetter's. last season. It's a bit of a weird one because if you look at last season, so Alonzo played him more than Arbaloa in the senior team and I couldn't really work out why. I didn't know, it was like maybe Arbaloa knew he was leaving and you know you wanted to take him with him, he didn't want to put him in the spotlight. Maybe it was more the club didn't want him to play, they wanted to play other players in the squad. You don't know how much control Arbaloa really had over that squad in the tactics, you know what I mean. So yeah, he's an efficient finisher, he starts back that up. He's smaller than him and he seems quite physically well built and he's a massive presser which you know he knows Arbaloa's system inside out so I don't think there's any doubt he's coming in to start getting me on. Might he maybe struggle with the kind of physical ality change of our league? Possibly, you know, but it's you don't really know until the sort of in it. I mean he's going to be up against Bassy and Preseason who is one of the most physical center bucks in the league. So it's a good test from get up the speed. You know, there was a running joke within the following community that whenever we started Menes, you wouldn't do anything when you brought him on off the bench, it always score. There's a bit of a weird one. So maybe it going back to, you know, like you said, Menes had a bad season last season scored one goal opening day of the season. Like you say, had a big injury in the middle of it and he never really got back up and running. So maybe he just needs a season of on the bench, you know, to get back up and running and yeah, I think he's more effective off there. So I don't say I'm leaving. It's interesting, though. I think there were similarities you could use to compare Menes and Himanas. You're saying Garcia is a very different type forward. So now you've got two players competing. We're very different stylistically and I wonder therefore if there might be certain games with like right Menes is the better fit for this game? No, because I think I think Garcia is, I think because I'll be law wants to address press aggressively and that is what Garcia is really good at. So I just I just think he'll pick formation and tactics over a personal. But, you know, can many come on for 20 minutes and press the ball? Yeah, you know, I mean, he's young. He is able to do it. What's the likelihood of him getting minutes? I think it's a little unless there's injuries. I mean, I mean, we played Palace on Friday like I said, he was the only outfield player not to get on the pitch. So other whole bench. So I think he's only just in 19. I think that's more of an investment and nobody could be more than a, you know, for a hero now. I'd suppose of the 4.5 forwards at the moment, there isn't anything that looks interesting or anything anyone at this moment as far as I'm aware, thinks is going to start. So if people are looking at that, I think they do want one might get the odd cameo, get the one point and then again start with. Is he likely to be in and around the first teams called from the start? I don't think so. Fine, that's good news for everyone. He's got double the ownership of any other full-on player at the moment, the time of recording. Fine, if I'm in a position, it's a good idea to play the game. So I think he might be a very versatile player, Arboloa, I can trust on the pitch where he needs him. Like I said, he played left wing, but more of a left 10 against Crystal Palace, which could be where he starts him until maybe Kevin is up to date with how Arboloa wants to press. The moment you think he'll start against Chelsea, is it? I think he'll start. I just don't know if he's got the physicalities to play in the middle of the pitch for it away in this league. I might get away with it on the left. Well, if considering it 5.5 then or not? I think if I ruled down, I think if I was to pick a full-on 5 in the squad, I think I could call it Bob. I mean, he's like, you look pretty sharp against Palace. I think he was obviously bored with the club knowing that Wilson was leaving. So I've said multiple times at the end of last season that I wasn't the case, but I think when you spend that much money, it's not going to be for a backup. So I think this is really, and he's obviously not joined full of him to be a bit part player. So I think he's going to have a big season. Since you mentioned 5.5, it says, let's do that now then. You said Bob is your preference. Yeah. Why? I think it's the most likely to start. I can definitely say he's going to start. We haven't got one right-winger at the club at the minute. I think we might buy, but to start the season, especially, I think, you will definitely start. The other ones just don't really know where people are going to play. I don't know how it's going to crumble. So I think it's more of a way to see where people are. I mean, could he just not play Josh King? Could he play Palacios in the middle or Smith-Rod? Yeah, he could. So it's like you say, the fixture's two and good after five weeks, so everyone will have a good understanding of what the teams look and buy then. So I guess what the saying at the moment is, which is probably Bob's start, right? You're saying Palacios moving off the left with this push, Robinson on. So 10, are we looking at Josh King, Emma's with Roe or something else? Yeah, definitely King. So King positionally sounds quite interesting. I only met the start of last year when he was 4.5 and you said to us, last summer, he's going to start, which he did, really bright young talent. Didn't have the output and product, I think, last season. But that could kick on this year, right? Someone's got to pick up the slack of goals, and we're kind of assuming it will be Garcia, but someone else has got to chip in. Yeah, I think that goal away at Chelsea, if that had counted last season, I think it really could have kick started some race. You're still upset about that, aren't you? Of course. But it was such a pivotal moment in his career for that season. And look, I told you on this part last year, Josh King would be playing for Real Madrid. I mean, he's basically playing for Real Madrid this season. So I wasn't wrong. Have you gone back to Black Shorts this year? We have. I don't know why. Celia, don't you? Yeah, I mean, you did look a bit like Real Madrid from a distance last year. Maybe, if not as fatically. What about it? Well, be at the same price because it sounds like you think he's going to probably drop into a deeper role. He's still a very busy player. He could be in an around. Def cons is going to play central, which would regularly. Yeah, I think I think he definitely will start the season as the eight. Similar to what he did on this silver. He does have the ability to press the ball. But again, we are looking at midfielders and more than just one. So I don't I don't know how long that lasts. Or, you know, if if you get to move back out wide, you know, there's so many unknowns with how he wants to play and players were still bringing in. That it's hard to say. I think it was only maybe three or four, maybe three players in the offensive side of the pitch that I'm pretty certain all stuff. Game week one, I mean, everything else is, I wouldn't be surprised if anything happened. Okay. One at the time recording, but as had the "Here we go", Shay Charles. I think it was important to play the number six, I think. Berg's position. I don't think you're playing the number eight. Again, he could come in and play the number eight, but I think Berg was struggle to play it as aggressively on the press. So I think he is coming in there. I don't know if he'll start the season. Depends, you know, he might come in and you might pick up the tactics really well. And he has got the energy to play where Berg's playing, but I think that's a game that's a way to see. But I don't think we're buying him to not play him. OK. I want to talk about some departure that has said you've lost some goals from the team. Yeah. I think I really was some standout for the FPL asset last season. He obviously was out of control. So it was looking highly likely that he'd leave. I guess first and foremost, are you disappointed that he didn't stay on and how well do you think he could do at Leeds, which is our next podcast on Correspondent Wake? I'm not really that disappointed. And I know people say, I'll be really saying that because he's left, but Wilson was a moment's player in the game. He was never a player who could control the game. You know, he pop up with moments. He was never really in the game until he scored sort of thing. He had a good six month period, but after the March and the Nationals, when obviously Wales lost to Bosnia, he came back and he just didn't do anything. You know, and by the end of the season, he got dropped out the squad. And again, like I said, start the pod. This summer, who the manager was, the whole summer was about dropping the average age of the squad and dropping the wage bill. And Wilson is getting on. We bought in Bob and January to cover that. He was obviously considerably younger than Harry Wilson. So yeah, the goals will be a mess, but I think I don't think Wilson could have played an arborist system anywhere. I don't think he really could do the press. And the hulking of the touch line, Wilson wanted to come inside. So it just wouldn't, I don't think I would have worked anywhere. Yeah. Is he an FBI consideration for you at late? I'm not going to lie. I don't know what they fixed us off. But he's a, he's a moment's player. So in FBL, that's what you want. You know, I mean, I feel you don't care if someone's dominant in the game. You just want the output. So yeah, for sure. I think these, these might have a good season this season. Yeah, I'd say they're opening set of fixtures who's reasonable. Forest Brentford, Brighton, Newcastle, Palace. First five. I mean, all of those five you've put in five teams together are difficult to say what order they'd finish. And it's kind of feels like middle bracket. Yeah. They've done that. So the interesting thing is see what Ed says about him. Obviously, well, him and Ed's departed as well, not as surprised. I was surprised to see Sasa Lukeitch move, but this Shay Charles move and change of dynamics in terms of off the ball pressing makes it sound a little bit more, makes a bit more sense. It's still a surprise though. I like Sasa Lukeitch. Yeah, I think he is a great, I think if you couple him and deal up into the move, the both went to episode, I think they're really, really good side and for Epswich, you know, for a promoted team trying to stay in the league like they are ideal. It's a good experience to bring in. Yeah, like they're neither one of them are good on the ball. You know, they're very much, I mean, if you give it you said you're up, we always say, you know, if he's got, if he hasn't got time to think about it, he's fine. If he's got time to think about what he's doing, that's when the mistake happened. And with Sasa, he's a great work engine. He'll pick up the yellow card, but his technical ability just for a team, we want to progress. We just want to stay where we were. So we don't want to be where we were when we promoted. We want to push on and sometimes you just got to get it with the players. They're both 30 this season, both in the last year of their contracts. It's nice to get money for players instead of just letting them all go on and free like Harry Wilson, like him and his. You drawn to D up for it, which at 4 million start? Yeah, he's on my team. I mean, obviously I listened to the Epswich podcast to see whether they think you'll start, but if you start, I mean, you know, he will get death caught in that. About 20% of the teams at the moment, I think he said, yeah, he's probably the most familiar 4.09s, obviously. He played well at the World Cup for Rocco as well. I thought he did that after. Well, Sasa, you've never even needed, yeah? Solid, very good sign on that. What's needed for you next in the transfer market? Where else do you need to invest? It feels like from what you've said, it might almost be across the board a little bit. Yeah, I think priority, well, it's funny. So I think I've right-sided centre back because I don't think that Anderson can play in this system. Now, he's got looked at Fugaro's still at the club. Obviously had a very good World Cup was on low and last year. Maybe he sees him play in there. I've got a few on the dozen. He played Coenka and Basi against Palace, two left footers. He left two right footers on the bench. And we have been in the market for a right-footed centre back. So I think that's a priority. It's also worth noting that Anderson has suspended Fugaro and Week 1. So I think if I was to give him a priority now, I think it'll be Basi and Coenka playing at centre back. Calvin Bassy can play right-sided centre back. I've seen it. It wasn't good. No, it's more experienced now. Well, anybody with alpha brain is just going to force him onto his right foot in press. Yeah, I mean, look, it's a difficult one because you've got to Fugaro's who, you know, buy all accounts. He had a really good World Cup. And he's not been priced up. Yeah, I thought it was a chance. Maybe he might start a game with it. Seems strange he hasn't got a price. Yeah, I find that Basi was looking yesterday and I'm to obviously say something about him, but there was no price point to see it. They're not going to put him up for a ride. I could, but it'd be really difficult to pick him up anyway. Come in at 4.5, one eight, they'll just go, I'll run to a chance, I think. I think so. Yeah, I think we have been looking for a right-sided centre back. So that is definitely, I think a winner, a right-winner, just so we've got some backup. You know, we've got one. We've got our academy is really good and we do have some academy players who maybe already and I'll blow up my might want to use them. He's an academy manager, so we don't really know that yet. I'd like a right-back, maybe move Castaneroan. I think we need some youth at that right-back. They're both going to pick up an injury in the season. So having some sort of youth in that position would be handy. I think we haven't touched on Shay Charles. Have we touched on Shay Charles? Well, a little. We don't really, obviously, don't know what it's price could be. You said you're not certain he's going to start the one as it stands. I think Harrison Reed could still lead the club. Again, I'd say it one of them where can we get something back on him and get another centre in the middle. But I see a lot of people say they're losing all of their experience in the squad. At the same time, people have said the squad profiles too well. Yeah, exactly. You can't have a ball for his. Yeah, we've lost some experience, but that doesn't mean that we've got no experience. And I'd like a goalkeeper. I don't think this will happen. I think this might be more of a nexy, nex-summers sort of sign in. But yeah, I just want a younger goalkeeper who can, who can play the sweet or will better than what I think Len O'Conn. But I'm happy to be proven wrong on that. So yeah, I do it with the squad in a bad place. I mean, we sat down here last year and we hadn't signed anyone. And we didn't spend any money last summer until deadline day. So, you know, we're already spending more money than last year. I feel like an improvement. I get it. So any question marks on Len O'Conn starting? I don't think so. No, I think it's the first choice still here. You see, people will look at him as a 4.5. There's a number of rotations where he lands really well. Someone literally said to me yesterday, actually, about Kinsky and Len O'Conn pair up really well. And I said, yeah, but I think there's a problem with that. The problem might be the three people you're putting in goal, but actually, truthfully, particularly Len O'Conn. In the sense that he doesn't, he's never come off, I think, as a great FPL asset. You don't have enough clean shapes. Yeah. It seems to very rarely hall when you do. Yeah. And I think there's a small, and it is small, but a small question mark that you might go into the market here. Yeah, I think it's been widely reported that I don't think we're actively looking, but if there's an opportunity in the market, we'll look into it. There is definitely a lot of work to do. other priority positions. In the squad. Is there any case for someone who's not looking at bench boosting game week one to put Anderson in and hired him? No, what is 5 million everyone else is 4.5? I just don't see one, it's quite conceivable that it doesn't even play. Like, you know, we are looking for a right-sided centre-back because I think Arbolo, as realised that he's not going to fit the high line, he's more expensive and I don't really know why. Like I said earlier, like Robinson is essentially back to playing his left wing that he was played two seasons ago under Silver. I mean, you have to take Robinson's campaign last year with Pintra Salt because he had a big injury in the summer, took him a while to get up and then he went away on international, got injured again. So, some players just don't have the ability to play well after not getting a preseason, sort of a right off season. So my choice would be Robinson. I mean, him and Teddy will start a full-back, but I think Robinson has a bigger upside than Teddy. He's part of that upside down, the Robinson's in town in penalties. No, I really, I still have no idea how that was about. That was bizarre. We expect in Garcia, probably. I'm expecting Garcia to hit them, yeah. Okay, fine. Ryan Sessionion. Yeah. What's his chance to have minutes here? He's obviously been reclassified back to a defender. Yeah, he's that right. I mean, is he, are we looking at him in competition with Robinson or is he being profiled at the moment as someone who might play higher? I think he's in competition with Robinson, but you know, with Sessionion, you know, it has a better way to play on the wings, you know. I actually think I wouldn't be surprised if he had more minutes. Say we don't manage to get a right wing sign, and before Chelsea, it wouldn't be surprised if he came on at right wing, sort of thing, or that came on at left wing. I think it was funny because last season, you asked me if he was an FPL asset, but you've been classified as a midfielder. I'd be really surprised that the river brusse sign that, yeah. Yeah. So then obviously he wasn't an FPL asset, not that we count many clean cheats, but this season he's back to being a defender, but I could also say him playing higher at the pitch more than playing at left bar, so it's a weird one. Too risky for now, and you sound like you don't think he's a good start. I don't think he's a good start. No. So for you, defensive one would be Robinson, if you want to go midfielder, Bob, and Garcia obviously, he put a really close sign on. Okay, fair enough. Harrison Redu said it's 4.5, you think you'll leave? I think I wouldn't be surprised if he did leave. It's, I think he has the ability in terms of the present to play the number six, like Arblow wants to, but again, similar to Luke Edge, he's not technically good enough with the ball. He played, he started there ahead of Berg against Palace, and yeah, he's not good enough. He'd be really good for a championship team, I'm sure, but sometimes you've got to, you've got to cut people off, either of them, but a little bit of value. Okay, any love for Kenny or Berg at five, there's options. Not in FPR, I mean, Kenny's just had surgery, so he's probably going to be missing until after the first international break anyway. And I just don't see the upside of it, to be honest. Okay, right, give us a predictive game with one line up, then. Leno, Tertey, Bassy, Kuwenga, Robinson, Burger will be Bob King, Palacios, Gossia. Game week two. I ask about the centre backs. And of course, I suppose, yeah, if Krenko and Bassy did do really well against Chelsea, then there's every chance, maybe that would stick for the game afterwards, which is a Sunderland in Game week two. Sunderland or a team that's going to get looked at quite a bit, is that right to be looking at them across the first two planets, which and then yourself in Game Week two? Because you had a great result at the stadium, I actually, last season. Yeah, I get to fail and you beat them at home. Yeah, it's probably fair. It's their first home game of the season. That's always more difficult. Sunderland's a hard place to go anywhere. So yeah, yeah, I mean, I could say it was good in their own winning, but I can also say it was good in their conceding early to a silly goal and the crowd overwhelmed the players and we got smashed. It's, that is a hard place to go, first game of well, first home game for them, that season. It's a hard one. And Chelsea out in day, which is a bit of a weird one, isn't it? Cause really, we're actually your biggest name of the season. Is there, does that create any narrative to put people off of Chelsea assets? I'm a gel pad, which obviously extremely highly owned at the moment. I think so. Yeah, I mean, look, you don't really know what you're going to go from Chelsea, you know, as much as you're not really sure what you're going to go from the following. I mean, I seen Chelsea's result last night. It wasn't exactly amazing, drawing a free, free two penalties in a known goal against a comprehensive name. No, I could carry. So don't worry about it. So yeah, it is obviously our biggest game of the season. It's a Monday night under the lights. The players will be up for it. I'm sure. So yeah, I think I think we'll get something in that game to be honest. Okay. What's a good season look like for fun? Safety, yeah. I mean, you know, we're only small. Safety should be the goal every season to start with. Anything more than that as a plus. I think to weird, it's a very weird Premier League season this year. There's so many new managers. I mean, you know, I think anyone born in the big clubs could finish anywhere from, you know, seventh down of, you know, relegation nets. It's a really vital season. So safety first and foremost, anything more than that to bonus. If I said she now 17th, you're okay with that. Depends what it looks like. But 17th, your first year where you were never in danger of going down, then yeah, if it's 17th last year, she itself. Yeah, okay. It's different. So yeah, just to safety, to transition season, what's the worst case scenario? Is that an obvious answer? relegation. I mean, yeah, it's the worst thing that can happen, doesn't it? So yeah, I think it's a weird one because we've obviously signed the two Real Madrid players and it's kind of like we can't really get rid of our ball or if it starts bad, we can't get rid of them because we can no kind. I know, but these players, these players have not came to follow them because it's fallen. These players, they're probably not really in here. Garcia has probably not even heard of follow them until I'll be like him. So, you know, to then get rid of the manager up to see 10 games, if it starts bad like Eriola started, for example, then, you know, it's, but the thing, Neil Grover would tell you if they'd lost that that 10th game against Bernal, he probably would have gone, Eriola even joked about it himself when he gave his speech on the pitch after the final game, like at the start, you were like, who's this guy? But sometimes it goes a certain way and I think what happened last year is obviously lead Sunderland looks better than what people anticipated and it caused panic.
