So thank you for being here today and so you know take us back to the beginning for you and how did you first get into the pool industry and and where we are now. Yeah, so I got into the pool industry kind of on accidents. I had been doing web design work and things along those lines. You know that that work on dried up around 2006. And surely so wasn't in the same vein that it was you know the graphical editors came out. Tintwoods came out and became a lot easier to drag and drop things and make your own website really, really quickly. So I knew I wanted to do something entrepreneurial. I knew I wanted to work for myself. I didn't know what I wanted to do. I bought a house my first house back in 2006 back when they were throwing more to do the kids that said they had a job. I fell into that category. So so I had a house had a pool and didn't really know how to take care of it. So hired a company and I probably went through six companies, maybe seven companies that all turned my pool green just consistently within them. Yeah. And so if you know I mean you know why in hindsight right. I didn't so I kept firing companies firing companies switching out finally I found a company that would turn my pool green. I didn't really know what I wanted to do after web design, but I wanted to do something like sit on burial. I like the idea of recurring revenue. So I was talking to that cool guy and saying, Hey, you know love your service. Can you give me some advice on maybe going into the industry? You know what are your numbers? What can I expect? And ultimately he offered to sell me his route. So I ended up buying I want to save 65 75 pool something around around that range from him got training from him when you know just started the company from scratch thinking it would be really easy. Everyone obviously underestimates the pool industry and I was no no exception. You know I can talk for hours going from there but I don't want to I don't want to cut you off. So happy to let's get get a question in. It's just interesting to hear you know and it's awesome that you came from the pool industry and you know had your business servicing pools before cool brain. So it's that taking the experience you had and then you created something obviously we're going to talk about what it does for pool pros. So imagine that one day you'd be owning pool pool brain and where it is now. So yes, yes and no more than yes. When I first got into the industry, you know I immediately wanted to embrace whatever technology existed and you know it's just always on the cutting edge of that. And those days the cutting edge meant that you had a server closet and you had a program called service service CEO is one of the few platforms out there at the time that basically did field service management. But there were no smartphones at the time that could really you know do the mobile dispatch so you still had to print out routes and send it off with them. But you could put it into a platform and log in at the office and get a lot of those benefits with filling and CRM and and quoting and other things along those lines. How far along was that? How many years ago was that when that what was going on? I wouldn't say I mean I started in 2006 and it was right really quickly after maybe three or four months after I started I got serviced CEO realizing I couldn't scale it doing it just on pen and paper. At least not easily. You know as we evolve this is the early version of what we use today right. The difference between where you talk about using that back then and then hear what technology can do now for our cool pros. You know what's more interesting is we still have people is obviously when people you know sign up for full brain we are as ask them you know what we're using before we try and track those metrics. And we still have people saying that they're coming from service CEO to pool brain so you know software that was kind of outdated by 2009 so that that kind of shows the slower shiftness industry to the newer technologies. But yeah it was it was good at the time and to answer your question you know I thought at the time hey I can do better than this. I would love to build a cloud based platform you know that doesn't you want to keep a server closet and I can do a lot of things better for the industry but I had no capital no access to the funding to do what I wanted back then so my plan was build it for you know however long I needed to then hopefully get access to those loans. But within two years a product called service bridge came out which was basically what I wanted to build and I thought I was just too late. But that time I gave it up and switched to service bridge it was good at the time compared to service CEO but it's still didn't solve 90% of what we need to solve for the pool industry and eventually that opened up the opportunity for full brain thankfully. That that's I mean it's just interesting to hear the the history of where we were I mean I know before that it was pen and paper. It routes that way and trying to hone them in and and keep track and communicate with your customers and invoicing there's so many things now what was the hardest lesson you ever learn your first year and I'm going to pose us in two different questions out on for you. It's going to be first what your pool service business and then the hardest lesson when you started pool brain let's start with the pool service business first. Okay there are a lot of hard lessons which first start the pool industry everybody like I was saying underestimate it severely. I was no exception thought it was going to be really easy to you know be a water janitor effectively and just go in clean some things and then scale that up. But what I learned the hard wins were all my problem stemmed from is that there's just no tolerant there's no tolerance level for forgiveness like there's no it's such a fragile product that can go green so easily with one of a thousand different mistakes and wait way too many variables to track and know without proper training and years experience so that you're kind of set up to fail when you.
go into it, especially when I started in the industry, it was like July. So I was thrown into the meat grinder immediately and immediately turned all those tools green and had to build most of that route back from scratch for obvious reasons. But you know, things like one setting on a piece of equipment is off. You know, one valve turned incorrectly, one basket, not empty. You didn't know about the filters not backwashed or cleaned on time or you know, name a million things. So the whole gamut and one mistake, that pool is green the next time you show up. There's no ramp, there's no warning, there's no forgiveness. It's a full pass failed, full winner die. Keep a customer, lose a customer off a single mistake. And so it's very, very hard to manage that. And ultimately, that's why I ended up building pool brand because it doesn't work at scale. But that was by far the biggest wake up call for me. So I'm going to pose the same question to you. What was the hardest lesson you learned now when you started pool brand? So I had, I said, I had a really good product when we started pool brand. I knew we had a really good product. But we didn't have the funding to build out the full all in one, you know, platform that it is now. Not back when we launched it in 2019 was the first time I think we went to a trade show and kind of exhibited it to kind of see where the feedback was. And you know, people would explain it and they would be like, that's amazing. That's the best thing. And that's exactly what I need. How much is it called? Oh, that's great. Let's sign up tomorrow. Okay, show me how it does billing and scheduling and quoting and all the things. And I'd be like, well, it can integrate with service bridge or one other platform very easily. We can do it through this quick books connector. And they would just cut me off and be like, oh, it doesn't do everything. No thanks. You know, and so, you know, I had a rude awakening that I was going to have to really get some funding together, really spend a couple of years of time really build out the all in solution before people would start adopting it. But you know, that was where we were going anyway. So it's not like it was a big deal. It's just, it was much harder and longer than I expected. And that was a rude wake up call, especially when you're bootstrapped in doing this unlimited funding to realize I had to go build everything and risk everything before I take a traction on it. Hey, but here's an old thing. I'm always quote to my kids too. Good things come with time. And so yeah, a great thing that's here and it took time to build it. And that's why it is where it is now, Adam. Appreciate that. So was there a moment early on where you thought, what did I get myself into with full brand or with full service? Wow. And see, this is such a cool episode because you had, you were in pool service and then you're on the technology side. So it's almost like you can, and it's everybody listening, our pool service pros out there. So it's very cool for them to hear that, yeah, you had some of the same issues that they had when they started their businesses. And they don't feel like they're alone, you know? No, it's very, very common for pool companies to have all the same problems across the industry. Yeah. And it's always a learning process. So let's say, let's ask this question about the pool service business first. And if did I get myself into answering that question? Yeah, no, I definitely had that moment very quickly. Again, starting with no experience in July. And you know, the training I got was, I see, it wasn't great. It was based on the good old boy network back in the day and all the myths and things that just kind of propagate down the line over decades of experience and mouth to mouth, you know, type of transmission of that information. The internet was still in its infancy. You certainly couldn't look up things on your phone from the field when I first started. You know, actual education and documentation was really hard to come by. It was like, gold that you could get it in your hands. And that is, you know, that goes to what you're doing. It's very, very valuable to get education out there and you have these outlets like yourself now and others that are getting this information out to the public and it's super valuable. I don't think people who started back, well, started now realize how special that is compared to where the industry was back then. So the long story short is, you know, very, very difficult to come in with no former training, formal training or education. No ability to get the education. You're in summer, you're drowning. Just trying to keep, you know, the route stable and I'm losing all of those pools. So I definitely, very, very much out of the gate thought that I just got myself into something crazy that I was going to have a problem with. But thankfully it worked out. It turned into a great thing. So let's pose the same question and pull brain. Did you have a moment where you had maybe when you started, what did I get myself into with this or did that really happen? Yes and no. I mean, when we first started, the mission wasn't necessarily to solve a problem for an industry. It was to solve a problem that we were experiencing. And it took me a little longer to realize it was an industry wide problem that nobody had solved. And that was one of the things that led us to actually launch it commercially. And then just going back to what I said before where, you know, once we launched it commercially and people were like, well, if you can't do anything, I don't want it for anything. Or if you can't do everything, I don't want it for anything. Then, you know, then I was like, holy crap. Now I have to risk everything versus dip my toe in. And like you said, you were still kind of working in the very beginning with where you're connected to other platforms and stuff to try to do things. So it's kind of cool that we're going to get into that where you left that and cool brain where it is now. But let's stay on this early track here. So what mistakes did you make that you think actually helped shape where you are what pull brain and where pull brain is? So I made tons of mistakes as you can imagine. You know, I named a chemical mistake. I made that. In the beginning it was especially hard to because again, the training, I was trained that salt systems were snake oil and have never worked. It's just something that manufactured pushed me extra money. I was trained that cider acid should be fully disregarded. You shouldn't even think about it. You shouldn't even look at it on the readings. Shouldn't even carry the truck. I was taught to disregard alkalinity and focus on pH and chlorine and that's it. It's all you need. It's all we've ever needed. It's all you're ever going to need. So also to not backwash DE filter or sorry, not tear down and clean the e-filter. Sure, you have to tear down cartridge filters. That makes sense. But never tear down and clean the e-filter because when you backwash, all the dirt comes out. So-- Oh, golly. Wow. So you see what I'm saying? So you're working not only against what you don't know, but against misinformation and miseducation and it was very difficult. So I made a ton of mistake. I cracked pump and colors off and kind of, you know, fly them off with channel locks instead of securing it on the back when they twist thing it off. You know, every mistake in the book, I'm sure I made it. And in some-- you know, mistakes help us learn and make things better too. And being able to admit mistakes, a lot of businesses have mistakes. But there's still great businesses. It's about what you do, impive it, and move forward from the mistake and learn from it. And then it not happen again if it's a negative effect. So that's awesome because I think the best business owners sometimes are the ones that say, yeah, I made mistakes, but I learned from them and I pivoted and I made this decision to change this and that's-- it leads you to a good place. I think that in time are great things, especially with businesses and a well-oiled machine, something that's going to work really well. So what's something about the early days that today's new pool pros might not understand? You're going to make me sound very old. I'm older than you, Adam. You know, anyone starting now, I mean, those whipers, nappers don't understand how spoiled they are. But mostly from a standpoint of just being able to, you know, just having a computer in a pocket back in talk to the world on demand is such a huge valuable tool when you work from the field. I mean, back in the day, you know, you'd have to print out the night before this stack of sheets from mapquest.com, which I don't think anyone even knows what that is anymore. Just to know where you were going, you'd have to have an atlas or maps of the city, you know, and those were outdated half the time because of all the new construction. No one really could day will understand what it's like to be 45 minutes away from a supply warehouse and need a part, but not really know which one and not really know where to go and have no way to find out. So you're driving around for hours, asking manually, you don't have cell phone signal and, you know, the list goes on and on and on for those types of things. Technology has certainly come a long way. I can even relate to it when I worked at the health department. I remember the days where we had to go pool paper inspection reports and copy the previous one from Stits Months prior and then map quest all the locations. So I could try to get all my pools that I was inspecting in my route area, basically, as honed in as possible. And even when I left, there was no software we were using, even though it was available.
to benefit because sometimes it comes down to budgets and stuff too, but it's also a whole different thing when you work for government. But I can relate to the technology side there. Yeah, I can't remember the last time I was lost anywhere. But back in the day, you'd spend a half your day in the hot, trying to get from place to place. Don't ask me because I can manage to get lost even though I have my GPS. I remember one time in Texas and I got off trying to go to a Walmart and it had like these weird things that you got off and it kept gave me on and off, on and off like six times. I finally called my mother-in-law. How do I get to this Walmart? I need food. Yeah, the mother-in-law was your navigation back then. Yeah. How did your mindset shift from technician to entrepreneur, Adam? To be honest with you, for me, it was kind of been river-wide, it was in reverse. Just because I started the pool company with the mindset of I want to be an entrepreneur, I want to build this giant company and kind of set back. I knew I'd have to do some stuff in the beginning and learn it. Do the heavy lifting and maybe the first six months to a year is what I estimated. And of course, six years later, I'm trying to work myself out of the field still. But yeah, I'd say it was about six or seven years and I could finally mostly be in the office and then at least three years after that before I could kind of fully be in the office versus part-time stuff or supervisory follow up kind of stuff. I think you do it much, much faster now, obviously with the platforms like Pool Brain because you have a way to manage from the field and see and, you know, enforce consistency and all the things. But yeah, my mindset had to grudgingly go from entrepreneur to technician and then live in that world to then build a good business. Awesome. So what gap did you see in the pool industry that led you to create Pool Brain? So the biggest issue I was experiencing was that I could not scale the company past about 25 trucks, roughly. You know, first however many years getting up to that point wasn't exactly a walk in the park, but it also wasn't something that was insurmountable. You know, you could increase your marketing and get more in the top and you could increase your training and get a little bit more out of your tax. And you could do things you could adjust levers. But at some point, it just didn't matter what I did. If I put 300 customers in the top, 300 customers would come out the bottom. And it was just flat line for five straight years. And I was trying absolutely everything I could. You know, incentive programs, tons of supervisors, random follow-ups, tearing the text so that you could go to your one, two or two, to your three and you could learn different skills and make more money and give them an actual career path and try and keep them around and get the motivation. You know, bonuses for if you get good reviews or if you don't get bad reviews and certain careers, absolutely nothing moved the needle. Not even a little bit improved. And after about five years, yeah, of just spinning my wheels on that, I went to my business partner and said, "Hey, we have to do something radical to solve this." That's not going to be like building a new product or a new system. Or we need to sell this business because I can't just sit here for five years. You know, telling customers mistakes aren't going to happen. We turn the pool green every time, telling them something's going to get fixed and it doesn't every time. And they leave and we can't grow. So it's so cool, you know, just to hear from you have that experience as a pool service technician owning a company. And then you see these, the same issues I think everybody that owns a pool company has. And going, we need to figure out how to fix what is happening here. And it led you to where you're at now. And that's what's really cool to hear about is that growth to where you are now with pool green. So what problem were you personally frustrated with that pushed you to build pool green? I mean, what I just said was it was the scaling issue. You know, you have this constant turnover problem in this industry with technicians. And you know, you can talk for an hour on why that is and why I don't believe it can be solved. Meaning, I don't believe you can solve the fact that you're going to have a revolving door on technicians turning over. But what you could solve that I ultimately realized and which is why I built pool green is that even with that turnover, maybe you can't solve the turnover, but you can solve how it affects your company. And you can basically take the knowledge away from the technicians and put it in a platform. So that no matter which technician goes onto the property, it's going to actually have them do the right things at the right times in the right order. They can't skip it, forget it or cheat it. You know, it's going to automatically tell them what chemicals to put in. So you don't have to really train heavily on that for each and every technician for the needs of each and every body of water or service level, which changes depending on what package they have. And all of that should be as easy and automated as possible. Much easier said and done. But that was the theory and that's what we built and it worked so well. We ended up doubling the company in about a year and a half after just sitting flat for five years losing money on supervisors because we had so many of the field just firefighting basically. So yeah, that sounds like it's almost like it's set up with like Stan S.O.P.s standard order operations kind of a thing. Yeah, we call him guided work flows because you know, you can checklists in general just don't work. I had checklists on service CEO had checklist service bridge had checklists. It didn't solve the problem. You also have this other problem with horizontal platforms where they don't have a specific body of water tracking or whole architecture is off for what we need. You know, horizontal will have an architecture that's like customers up here and then multiple properties under those customers and then a bunch of custom fields under that. And even if you set up those custom fields do like 90% of what you think the foreign industry needs, it doesn't work because what you actually need is customers and then properties and then bodies of water on those properties and then equipment sets at the system level under those bodies of water and then automations under those equipment sets that happen based on what the technician says is on site. And then all the chemistry magic on top of that and without all of that you're not solving the largest pain points for the industry and you need all of that, which is why the horizontal solutions were talking like you know, generics like job or service bridge service tighten things like that. They'll never do what the pool industry actually needs and then a lot of the pool specific platforms are you know, little more than logbooks. They're not really solving the biggest pain points. There are some good ones out there. You know, don't get me wrong. They do valuable things but they don't solve the biggest pain points of the industry or companies looking to scale up. Right. And one of the biggest issues like you said and especially in the economy we are now, even more so than before is that it's going to be hard to keep technicians in those jobs. And so there's constant turnover as you said and replacement and you've got a new employee now. So if you're working on a platform based on workflows, it kind of guides them as to what they should be doing when they get to that property because otherwise you do, there's a live investment in training people where you have to send a physical part and I'm not saying that still doesn't happen, but this maybe helps reduce the time of having to have a physical supervisor or lead employee take somebody out with them. That other new person can get out in the field sooner and start servicing pools because you've got a platform that is workflow based and it's going to help them. Okay, I have to do this, then I do this instead of it just being a checklist. Checklists, you can go out of order usually and that doesn't help and checklists are just okay, I checked off that task. It doesn't really help tell them or guide them how to do the job. So. Correct. And we're using checklist. What you have to do is you have to list every possible thing that can be done on every possible body of water regardless of what's needed on that body of water, which means that the technician has to already know and be trained to sort through what actually needs to be done and you're missing the point if you're relying on the technician to do that. That's not going to handle your turnover problem. That's going to make it more reliant on training and that technician is now your product. Instead of you being able to control a product that happens consistently, the technician is your product. So some are going to be great. Some are going to be terrible. That's just the nature of humanity and the way things are. And that's not control. It's just a matter of time. So the guy in workflows will enforce that in the most specific key thing is you'll only be seeing things that are relevant to that body of water based on the equipment said because it's going to automatically remove or add things based on what equipment's there that is critical. And then also you can adjust for that body of water. The idea is that you dial in each body of water because it has its own set of variable combinations, its own personality. Some variables you can't even know and you just have to learn over time and you dial that in and then the technician doesn't need to know it because the system knows it. I would say each pool has its own, like we all have our own unique fingerprints, right? It has its own fingerprint based on how it's built, the construction, the equipment that's installed on it. So that's what I think.
my students usually. Yeah absolutely. What was scarier, Adam? Was it starting in the pool side of the industry or starting poolbring? Poolbring was by far scarier only because I had a much better idea of what I was risking in the uphill battle. I was facing. I was a young kid who was super talky and thought the pool industry was going to be the easiest thing in the world and I was just going to comment and crush it. So I should have been scared to death of the pool industry when I got into it, but I just wasn't and most people aren't for the same reasons. But yeah, poolbring when you know you're going to be starting over at the age of 40 if it doesn't go well was a lot scarier. You just gave your age away. I gave my age away. I mean I'm 44 to be weird now. I mean, you can do it. People can do the math on the math quest. So I know that I kind of asked this before, but I'm going to think about any other field experiences from when you were had your pool company that you think may have influenced the way poolbring operates today. So yes, plenty of things. I'll just say that pulling from my experience in general has been incredibly valuable in building the product. You know, pointing to specific things is probably more difficult than just overall. Kind of just saying that the benefit that I have, I'd say, is that I've lived it and understand what's critical and what's nice to have. What's really going to move the needle versus just being a little bit valuable. Again, you know, other platforms they build a lot of features and I don't think any of them are not valuable. And you know, I just think there's an order to build the features in that move the needle for the biggest pain points. And so I'm trying to get to that as fast as possible. And I don't know, there's a lot of noise in the industry. Like I said, there's a lot of myths. We just talked about that a lot of myths, a lot of old outdated concepts and ideas and misinformation. And sorting through all of that if you haven't lived it is very, very difficult. It's very difficult to say what's accurate, what's not, what's really going to move the needle, what won't, what's going to be a deal breaker for the tech or the office person or the customer. You know, anywhere in that chain, in what's not, it's something that I can draw from that really, really helps build the product. So if you could go back and talk to yourself on your first day Adam in the industry, what would you say? Hang in there it gets better. Yeah, it was stopped in the beginning. Early on it, it seems like it's the toughest thing and then you get down the road and then you're like, I wish I knew what I knew now then. You know, and then maybe I would have looked at it differently. And like I said, we all make mistakes. We all make mistakes. It's about you own up to them and you learn from them and a lot of good businesses come from making those little mistakes and becoming better. You know, and growing and everything else like you guys have done because you started and I'm sure it was small. And now it's just like you guys are everywhere. It's awesome. What you guys are doing here. What you guys have built your support of conferences and education. And you know, you could keep all that money in your own pocket over there. But you help out the industry because you know how important from your experience, as you said earlier, the education of everybody out there. So you built a platform that's going to help based on a workflow pattern so that you can fit a lot of the issues that you have when you own your business. And see that's what makes it so great is yeah, there are other platforms. But were they started by a gentleman that owned a cool service company? We're I mean some some some but not but not all. And so it's the it's experience you have like it makes it relevant for our listeners because you were a pool service pro you still are. You're just in it. You're trying to make things better for the pool pros that are still going out every day, keeping our pools clean and healthy and safe backyard or commercial right? And so it's so nice to hear somebody who's created and has his company over here. But it was built on the experience and you're selling a product to people based on the experiences that you know they're having and going through that you went through as well. And that makes you relevant to the industry so much at them. Thank you. Thank you. Well, we're not close to done. I promise you that. We will get there if you want. All right. So what advice would you give to someone that's just getting into the pool industry today? That actually embraced the education opportunities you have now. You know the you know your classes and there's lots of other you know I don't think you teach like how to go break down pumps and things like that right? But you know if I'm working for chemistry for sure and then there's a lot of other options out there for actually understanding how to service pool and how the equipment works. It seems simple but there's so many different variable combinations like even just a common mistake. This is what I made and what most of my tax made at the beginning is if you have a quick skimmer of interior skimmer that uses pressure to create a vacuum essentially. You know those just always got turned on because no one knows how to use them but they're actually very good if you know how to use them properly even set up that system to just be much better once you understand. So it makes your job a lot easier to go out and get the education thing one. Thing to use the software platforms and tools at your disposal now in this industry. You know pool brain for example the very first features we built aside from kind of work loads of some other things was chemical dosing. So for my company on day one of pool brain automatic chemical dosing because you know you don't go to I don't know you don't go to the grocery store and as the cashier is ringing up the products they aren't writing it down and then like adding it up on paper and then figuring it out through a slide rule calculator and then spitting it out you know and it shouldn't be like that in the pool industry. Even in 2006 when I started I thought you know how was this not a thing how do I have to figure this out. I'm not just punching readings and a gallon engine it just spits it out this should be a solve problem and that's what we're doing in pool brain and we again we put range target dosing in on day one for our own company. We recently launched a the ability to dose chlorine tabs through an AI model that we developed to train on real data and incorporate weather data in there and basically the idea is yeah thank you the idea is that you know it can guess better than a human because ultimately the most chemistry like break point chemistry is not a guess that's straight math it can be predicted every time it doesn't matter on the environment etc etc it's just math. Been going to maintenance chemistry so your tabs or your salt system or you know whatever's on the pool that's a whole different thing that's a guess they say oh no it says on the side of the bucket one per 5,000 but you'll learn very quickly that that doesn't work it's too much in the winter it's not nearly enough in the summer typically and beta-level throw that all out the window so we think in AI our theory is that an AI is better than a human I'm guessing at that because it can see all the data and it knows the weather better and it can just consistently make those guesses and a technician can learn a pool over time but the problem is the turnover right the technician doesn't stick around the learn that pool or if they do and eventually leave now the next technician is going to turn it green because they don't know that pool and so if you automate the chemistry break point and you automate chemistry maintenance that's fully eliminated and that's also 70% of your training for the technician typically so that also allows you to handle turnover easily and get those texts back into the field and one thing we're about to launch next month because I know people I'm sure are saying like yeah range target though that's that's the old ad a date way to do it I use LSI and that's fine LSI is a great method too and we're about to release the first of its kind ability to automate LSI dosing so you can train the system pool brain on how to move the sliders and what order based on what conditions when I say sliders I mean our renders sliders because we have their calculator and that integrated with pool brain directly and we also use all their calculations in our automatic dosing so it'll just move those sliders on the calculator and spit it out and so all the technician does is they enter the readings that you require and how often you can control if you want a full LSI panel or if you just want certain readings and if you want to do it every week or maybe every four weeks you can fully automate that away and then when they arrive on the chemical dosing screen it's just going to fill in what they should be putting in the pool that's it the technician doesn't have to know they don't have to think it's going to be right every time dead right and then they just hit I confirm I've done this and so there's accountability there's time stamp they can't say they missed it and then you move on it truly is sounding like it's a pool brain it was named appropriately yes it was and I think that that might have been before you really realize how much AI
was going to be helping our industry. And it really is using the workflow model as well. - For sure, but I do want to point out, 'cause AI is a very hot topic, and there's a lot of confusion around it. The AI portion of that dosing is the core ENTAP portion, and we feel that's the right use of AI. And that's standpoint because there's so many variables, and there's unknowable variables, and the AI can help guess at that better. It's really good at seeing a lot of data and giving a prediction or things like that. But when it comes to straight math calculations, AI is notoriously bad at that right now, and once you give it access to a calculator and tell it what to do, but at that point, why are using AI? You can just go straight to the calculator, right? So that's why we're using Rinda in straight formulas that you set up or already exist in our sacrosync to do the other dosing. So Ringe target dosing, LSI based dosing is a combination of your settings and Rindus calculator that happens automatically, and then the AI comes in with the core ENTAP dosing. So that was one of the many integrations that you guys did with pullbrain over the years. Tell us a little bit more about the other integrations that you've done over the years as well. So you have the Rinda app doing the LSI and dosing for you within the pullbrain app. What else do you guys have? - We have a lot of integrations. So obviously we integrate with QuickBooks online. Post the answer used that. We have a full two way automatic sync. So you don't have to manually push anything. And if you change something in QBO, it also syncs back to pullbrain and vice versa, that allows you to leverage their app store as well. Because when things happen, you can trigger things, and then when things happen, QBO you can push things. So it's best in this class. And then for other integrations we have, we're integrated with one MOT spin touch or spin lap, which is a device in the field where you can put a disk in, fill it with water, close the lid, hit a button, it gives you a bunch of readings, but it will then automatically Bluetooth those readings into the app so you don't have to type them in. Also, if you have any concern that the technician might be dishonest with the readings, this will eliminate that because it comes into the app and then marks it as a MOT entering it. Technician can change it if they need to, but it will then basically tell you in the system that the technician changed it. And here's what they changed it to, and here's what the initial reading was. So then you can make a judgment call and whether or not that was the right move. That's what you want to see. And then we also have-- Right, that's a great option for startups and stuff to prove your startup water chemistry. Because then you can say, no, yeah, that this came in to the app, not by a person entering it in. It came in through the basically cloud or whatever you want to call it to the pool brain app and says that the spin touch lab tested it. So that the customer can't come back and say, well, your technician can write whatever they want on a log. And so the stains and issues I see on my surface from the startup is their fault. Now that the technician can-- it solves another problem, which is great. Yeah, it's great for liability, for sure. Yeah. And then what you were about to say, another integration that you guys have? Yeah, I'm going to try not to forget any. Another one we have is with Heritage, full supply, great company. And we integrate with them in a few different ways. One is that when you connect a heritage number to from full brain to heritage basically, or actually you don't really connect the number, you just make sure the heritage number is on the products and full brain. And then it's going to automatically sink the cost every night. So if your cost changes on that product, full brain can see that and then update your cost into full brain automatically. And then it's going to update the price you charged for the customer automatically based on the margin you have set or the markup you have set rather on that cost. So you can fully automatically let the cost update and let the price update. And you'll always have those margins protected. And I personally ran into those major issues, which is why we pushed this a couple of years ago as a priority to where after a few years and not updating prices ourselves, not doing a huge audit, we ended up being able to find out, unfortunately, that we were losing like $100 a filter for these certain filter models that we were selling, even when you take into labor into an account. So if you're not on top of your prices, the can actually cost you big and this fully automates that away. So it makes it nice to be all second. - That's awesome. If you talk to any accountant that's having that live information and it being very accurate and you're not wasting time having to go research it yourself by looking it all up. So it's automatically coming over with that integration. That's awesome. I mean, time is money and money is money. And so both of those things being solved by the integration is awesome for the pull pro. - Yeah, it's huge, honestly. And the other thing we do with Heritage would do a few things is that if you create a product with bull brain, you can search at the Heritage catalog to just pull it in immediately with all the photos, the descriptions, the part numbers, both Heritage and manufacturing numbers. And so you get that complete product in a much better way with virtually zero effort. It's just search and click. We also allow ordering through the platform. So we have purchase order system, we have an inventory tracking system, and you can just purchase straight from Heritage through bull brain, just by searching their catalog, adding light items to a PO, clicking order, and then walking away from it. And then it either gets delivered or you can put it on a build call if that's what you wanted to do. But you delivered anywhere otherwise. And it automatically tracks the stages as well. So if you can see when the product is picked and staged and loaded on a truck or shipped or delivered, then you receive the items straight off the PO into your inventory, whether it's to a truck or to a location that gets transferred to a truck. So all of that is tracked, start to finish. - Wow, it's amazing. And I think I remember one other integration. Aren't you guys integrated with Water Guru as well? - We are. Water Guru is also a great product. It's a remote data monitoring product. And I've said repeatedly in public, I'll say it again. I think the future of this industry is that all of the products in the field that can talk to the internet, whether it's something like Water Guru or an intelligent pump that's on the platform that can get a Wi-Fi signal out or the automation centers name it, all of that is going to communicate to products like pool brains so that the data flows in. And then actions happen automatically based on that data. Whether it's alerts or actual jobs or quotes or whatever we need to do there, I think that's the future of the industry is, right now we only see the pool once we go to average. Obviously, some things are a little bit different. But once we go to average, so six days you're not there, anything can happen. So like I said, it's very fragile, right? So it could be completely not your fault and you show up the next week and it's green and you have no idea why, but guess who's responsible, no matter what. And this fully eliminates that completely. And so Water Guru is what helps do that now. They have a great product. It's a skimmer lid. It just replaces the skimmer lid. The device hangs underneath and it will measure and it can measure a lot of things, but what I recommend is getting the cartridge that measures just pH and chlorine. I know I just kind of made fun of disregarding alkalinity or whatever and you definitely should not disregard alkalinity, but for the tests that happen when you're not there, those are the major things you need to see to make sure you're not damaging the surface or the heat exchanger or not can turn the pool grain ultimately. And then you can adjust for everything else when you're there once per week. And then that cartridge I believe lasts two months. So you don't really have to, and it's very easy to swap out. And the real win with that product is they'll also tell you if the flow is not happening. So you set it up when the pump should run. And it can tell you if that pump is not moving water. And that's the other major thing that will turn a pool grain. And it can also tell you if it's out of water. So if the water levels too low, essentially, it's going to tell you that. So all of the things that can turn a pool grain, it will eliminate, which is what I think the industry is always needed to inter-remote data products. And you can throw in any pool super quick just by swapping out the skimmer lid. Sounds like you almost wish that that was around when you started your pool service business in 2007. Oh, I was begging manufacturers to do that. When you were bought thin, I was just all over them trying to get them to change it to do something like that. I mean, it's awesome. And Water Guru is also one of my strategic educational partners at Platinum level. You guys being diamond, which you and Aqua start up there. Awesome. Awesome. Thank you for supporting Education again. But I've had them on the podcast. So certainly, and I have a Water Guru device in my aunt Nunkal's pool. I don't have a pool in my backyard. Isn't that surprising? Let's nurse. It's not surprising to me. I don't have a pool. I must-- most pool people don't, I find. When it was spoken about, then we waited. And then it cost too much money now to put a pool in. And my spouse said, I know who's going to end up cleaning it me. So no, if we can go and use my aunt Nunkal's pool, we'll go there. So we have the Water Guru there. And I remember when we first put it in, and then I went on a cruise for like a three-day weekend. And my uncle had it on his phone. I had it on my phone on the app. And I felt like I was stalking his pool from the Bahamas. All right. It's like I knew-- we had the cartridge that did all of it. They sent the one just to try out doing-- I knew alkalinity. I could calculate as water balance, everything on it. But what I like about it-- and this is just me working from the Health Department side too. And integrating what pool brain is alerting the pool technician if there's zero chlorine. If there's not good chlorine, if the flow. Because those are two closures right there for Health Department. is that there are.
pumps off, you got no flow, and also zero chlorine. So you can prioritize getting to that pool on your route first and prioritize the major stuff. Maybe not losing a customer that way if you get out there before it gets worse, right? And so I think that's the future of the pool industry as well. And again, going back to how appropriate the name of poolbrane for your company, because in the beginning, I don't think you'd imagine it was going to be doing these many things yet, you know, like the technologies come so far, and we probably have a lot more to go too, and it's going to get smarter like a real brain, you know. I think it's just so appropriate with the name. I love it. I mean, look at the shirt, guys. It's a pool brane. That's the biggest pool brane logo I've ever seen. I love it. Thanks, Kevin. We just called it that Kevin. But don't sell me short, though. Actually, from day one, when we designed this, I knew this was coming. I knew the remote data was coming. I knew that was the future of it. Like I said, pressing manufacturers for a decade on it. So I knew I had to design it in a way that accommodated that when we were ready for it. I think you had it in your head, Adam. I think people like me are just amazed that you knew that back in two thousand sits because we go back to I go back to two thousand sits and I think about what version of iPhone I had and what could it do if I had an iPhone at that time. Well, I was saying 2006 your version of iPhone was not existing at that time. I want to say it was late July. Facebook did come out to the late two thousands. Yeah, I was late to that. So it was on my space the way too long. I think it was 2008 or 2009 ish that it came out. So they can 2000 sit. A lot of us are thinking what technology was like back then. And it's amazing that you were able to be for is the for two of us a word. It is a word. I don't know if that's the right meaning. Looking forward to what technology was going to bring. It's amazing that you had that fourth thought. Fourth thought. Fourth site. Fourth site. There we go. Thank you Adam. We'll get to it. All right, when you looked at existing programs out there, which we're not naming names, all right? When you looked at existing programs out there, what did you feel was missing? So for the horizontal platforms, we kind of went over that. It did the architecture, bodies of water, equipment, etc. But also all the things that that lets you do is really what was missing because you can't know your chemical costs if you can't track it by body of water. You can't even get accurate chemical data into the platform if you aren't automatically filling it into the fields. You've been relying on a technician to do it and spoiler alert happens maybe 60% of the time at best. And so almost half of your chemicals aren't even registering. And then for all the automatic dosing, there was no way to do that and that was going to be a huge thing. So all the horizontals were just never going to even integrate with industry platforms. It just wasn't going to work for the pool specific platforms, especially at that time. They were basically just full logbooks but paperless. So the horizontals had all the power. They had all the automatic filling and the scheduling and the quoting and all the things you need to run a larger pool business. And then the pool specific platforms were more designed to like the 1-3-man operations. And so they had a lot of the basics and they had the right architecture, but they didn't have enough power to do it at scale. And so I knew after going to those platforms, I went to, you know, at least three or four different trades shows across about a year of time, basically just begging them to build it because I still didn't think I could. And I thought I was too late to the game. And one of them was about to do it anyway. But I went to them and I was like, hey, can you please do this or that? Or did you think about this or that? And the pushback I got was just like, oh, yeah, we're not going to, we have no one asking for that. We're not going to do that. I was like, okay, then I guess I guess we have to build it. And I think just what it came down to is there's a whole lot more, you know, one to three person operations out there that haven't really come across the pain points that turn over yet or scaling issues yet. And so they didn't really, like I said, a lot of noise and they weren't cool people for the most part. And so then we have the opportunity to go out and do it. And that's why we did it. And your platforms really awesome for even the big companies. So like 25 pool techs. Yeah, our largest, our largest customer at 600 pool techs. We have many around that area. That is what we targeted first and foremost out of the gate because that's the solution we built. We built a solution for the big companies that needed all the complex powerful features at scale. And needed to be able to control a product at scale. And then now we're working down market towards the smaller companies. And we're now a lot better fit for those companies than we were even a year or two ago just by adding a lot more things in the app they can do and making it a little bit easier to get settings going and things along those lines. And we're now committed to work back down towards the needs of the one polar, the two polar and making it just a lot easier for them because they can benefit from what we built greatly. I mean, just again, just automatic chemical dosing alone would be huge. Companies save almost 40% on average on that not to mention the training reduction and just all the things. So it's coming. Yeah, that's awesome. And I can't even imagine trying to manage 600 pool technicians. And I'm sure there are across many different states. And so regionally things are different. We've already talked about like even with the chlorine tab dosing and stuff with the AI, it's taken to effect for a company like that. If you have one of those technicians in Arizona where it's dry and it might rain but it gets hot and you got Florida where it's 100% humidity in July and you know, so things like that are going to help those pool techs. Even though they work for the same company, it's looking at things differently as you said. So all this technology coming in to help us do our jobs so that we have less green pools and lost customers and issues and want to pull our hair out and stuff like that, right? It's awesome that we can make so many benefits for our pool service pros, right? Oh, absolutely. It's very rewarding when I go and just trade shows and people come up to me and I started with you two years ago and I wasn't sure to go with. It depends to me and oh my gosh, I've scaled so much now and all the things are going well, it makes my day for sure. Well, and again, as I said earlier, you're relatable Adam because you're talking to pool service pros, you were a pool service pro before you own pool brain, you own your own company and ran it and ran into all the same problems that these people starting up now, it's just you didn't have something like pool brain back then. You saw the need to fit some things in the industry to make it and what you did is you didn't just fit it for you. You're trying to fit it for everybody else in the industry. That's so awesome that you don't just keep it to your own company. You're helping everybody else out there, you know? Yes, well, they helped me as well. To be clear, the two-way street, but yes, we're very excited to take this industry. Why me is industry, why you don't want to push it out to as many people as possible, solve as many pain points as possible. That's really where the focus is. Like I said, you can build a thousand valuable features. I could rattle off 100 now that no platform has or that we need to build still, right? But it's what's going to move the needle and really solve your day-to-day pain points and give you back time and money. So going back, was there any specific experiences in the field that made you say, there has to be a better way to do this? In the field, yes, the automatic chemical dosing is the one that leaves to mind. I mean, like I said, day one, I was shocked that that didn't exist. I mean, I get it now. It's really, really hard to do, but it can be done. But mostly it was from the off at Stan Point where I was like, there has to be a better way to do this. And it all related to the things we've all talked about, but I already talked about as far as turnover and just managing that, telling customers that this won't happen again, Ms. Jones, I'm making this big note, I'm putting this big checklist item here all in caps, it'll never happen again in the very next week it'll happen. They'll say, they didn't see the checklist item or something goes wrong. It just, it was driving me up a wall. So that's why we did what we did. It's just amazing because you can take what you've learned, experience wise and go, we can do this better. There's a way to do this, create something that's going to help. So did you build pool brains to solve a problem for just you, Adam, for yourself first, or did you think this is going to be for the industry as a whole? At first, it was a solve my own product. I knew it was a fairly common problem. I didn't think we were all low in the world with the problem we were experiencing, but I also wasn't convinced that we were the, I don't know, I figured some companies may have solved it. I didn't realize nobody had solved it. So I set out to solve it for us and then when I went to do that and I was looking at other companies in the industry like, well, how would they
solved it. And so I'd go to you know without naming name some of the largest companies at that time and be like, well, how do you have 7,000 pools? How do you have 12,000 pools? And at the end of the day, I looked at their model and they hadn't grown in 10 years either. And it was because they were just buying companies, just buying, buying, buying and stacking them in there, but that's how they stayed at a higher level. But you can't say that. They're costing the money to buy those pools though. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. But they weren't growing. And so it's just like, so they hadn't solved the problem of how do you grow? How do you put 100 in the top and you have those 102 years later? You know. And so that's why we knew there's something something had to happen that was radically different. And I was just focusing on my own company. If I could get it solved my own company, then we could think about step two and maybe solving it for other companies. But I had to fix our company. Awesome. So what makes pool brain in your mind fundamentally different from the other platforms out there right now? So mostly the fact that we were built to solve the pain points, the biggest pain point of the industry. I mean, this is named just in my opinion, you'll get a surveys that are out there. You know, some of the reports that are out there that it always consistently comes back with technician challenges, turnover, training, consistency. And so we were built to solve that biggest pain point. And that is the core four is what I call it the core four features. Day one rolled out for our company was guided workflows. So we've already talked about that. Dude, that's very important. I want my listeners to understand building the platform here based on that is such a game changer. That is so awesome because I hear all the time just like you have Adam about that's probably one of the biggest things that they pool service companies are dealing with is you know, you invest a lot of time of money and everything in training people and then they're gone. So having that workflow there that's awesome. Yeah, it's huge. And so guided workflows was the first thing we put in we kind of put it all this in at the same time, but obviously improved it at different rates. The second thing was automatic chemical dosing, which is kind of going into the guided workflow part as well, but that's its own whole piece that takes a whole lot of effort and intention and you got to get it right. So automatic chemical dosing and then we went into customer alerts. So you get all this clean data now because of a guided workflow and because automatic chemical dosing is putting in clean data and it's easier to hit eye confirm rather than trying to put things into field. So they're much more likely to hit one button than to start changing things and properly. So you get clean good data and then from there you can take all this data back and you can analyze it and we have an alerts engine where you have a lot of customization capability to say here's what I want to see here's how often I want to see it here's the priority I want it to appear at when it triggers and those are things like you know flow for example. One of the most important features of full brain we found out eventually we put it in is the forced portion of the guided workflow where after all of the work is done in the baskets have been emptied you know everything had backwashes have happened. Your flow is at the same baseline that it should be week after week. You have the technician prime the pump before they leave the yard and then take a photo of the PSI gauge and record the reading and if they're actually standing there watching it prime like they need to be the reading and the gauge don't photo don't take any extra time so it really might take a few seconds right but then you get a few things number one you get the knowledge and the guarantee and the liability protection that you left that cool in a good climbing condition so you're not running equipment right which is a huge liability. Also you're not turning the full green those both those things happen huge money goes out the door and the only reason we even put this in is because I thought automatic chemical dosing would just eliminate green pools and it reduced it like 80% to be clear it reduced it crazy crazy love we said 20% of all. That's crazy. It's really good number man. Yeah it really is and so then we're still turning the full green though occasionally it was way less but like how is this happening there's just no way this could happen if we're doing the chemical chemicals correctly and we're doing the flow correctly so I figured it had to be on the flow side so we put this in and once we actually got it dialed in in the right place where it has to be at the end of the job and you actually have the technician take a photo to prove that they're not just saying something and running out of the yard it creates a nice little graph over time and then the system can analyze that graph and say is it you know maybe it's a 20 and it's 18 and it's a 16 and it's a 14 that will catch it and alert you and say hey this impeller is probably clogging you probably want to go out and fix that and so we actually realized unexpectedly that you can predict you can actually predict and stop impellers from the clogs from turning pools green you know with almost 100% accuracy as long as you have this workflow thing active and so that was that was one thing I was turning pools green and that solved the other thing that's turning pools green is that technicians were thinking that the pump would prime but it would not so they would you know sometimes sure you can just forget and walk out of a yard and leave something and service motor something and obviously guy didn't work flows prevent that that's number one number two and this is very very common I'm just going to say that all of this is so awesome well thank you but but number two and this is something that everyone who's ever serviceable can relate to is you don't want to stand there and watch the pump prime right because it does take a minute per pool or whatever in like 15 minutes out of your day like don't want to do that but at the end of the day you have to or that you will be turning pools green because on some percentage you will walk out of the yard that pump won't prime you will have the green pool you will have the lost customer you have the $100 and whatever right so what was happening is technicians will flip on the switch whether it's an intermagnet timer or whatever they'll flip it on the water will rush into the pot and they'll go oh that'll prime that's what I do too you know if it looks like a strong pool you're like it's going to prime and you walk out but then it doesn't and now you have the green pool and this prevents that and instead of it's getting back to customer words this is one thing that I can see you can provide alerts on so if it's in a down condition or a four prime condition you can learn on that immediately you know it didn't spend enough time on site too much time on site started weight you'll get in the word any type of chemistry outlier you want you can see in the real values you can even do it on you know I can every ex of visits trigger so instead of saying you know for example if a technician shows up at a pool in the chlorine is zero that might not be a problem maybe they just they did the chemical dose and they brought it back up it's not going to happen again but if three visits in a row they show up and it's zero even if that pool is clear and blue that means you are just writing the edge and it's just a matter of time before one little thing kicks it over in a screen so you want that alert so then you can figure out do you know what's going on here do we need to just have more maintenance dose allocation is there some larger issue here at stake you know do we need to go a bigger chlorine flutter do you go more times per week what's what's the solution and you can dial it in and then you're good and so you just kind of have this alert system that always makes sure that you know instead of the old way of going out and looking for problems and proactively doing like follow-ups and trying to check and you know into it what's happening you can just relax and not do not have to worry about it unless you're actually seeing those alerts and then you just work them from the top down and you can fully customize that because that's three out of the core for the last one is um built-in customer feedback so when job emails go out there's a big thumbs up big thumbs down says job feedback customers can do one tap or one click and that feedback comes into the system it's recorded against the technician satisfaction score also against the customer in the job itself so you can see very easily if technicians are consistently being downbooted by customers you know for something you can't see and maybe it's technicians fault maybe it's not but what it gives you is the ability ability to know as a catch all at the end is this customer still unhappy yes we did the guided workflows yesterday the automatic chemical dosing yes we made sure everything was good with proactive alerts but at the end of the day it doesn't matter if the customer doesn't feel like you did a good job and they're happy so you'll get no alert immediately um saying customer is unhappy they can put in extra information oftentimes they do if they're unhappy but one tap will get it to you then you can call them immediately and half the time the technician's still down the street you can send him right back you can make him happy uh or you can explain something that's oftentimes just a point of confusion like he didn't put in chemicals this week or you know whatever it's like well he didn't need to and here's the reading you know but you can make sure they're happy they're not writing bad reviews they're not shopping your your uh service basically it all goes back to customer retention it just it gathers all this information and it really helps you like prioritize what you're doing out there as well that I mean it's just amazing it's amazing yeah tip it tip of the iceberg obviously you know you can go into like both customer portal automatic notifications on uh if you change a route day automatically there's no more paying attention to who you change and then calling them up or sending emails it'll just pay attention automatically and then send out the notifications automatically at a certain time of day that you set um you know saying they were following up on past due invoices open quotes uh all of the things I can talk for hours on that but fundamentally what makes a difference what I talked about with the core four features uh to my knowledge you know no other platform has those or has very limited versions and minimal uh you know fingerprint on those but
but everything else is obviously there as well. It's a full all-in-one modern platform. - I mean, the model sound like all four are so equally important in different, in their own way, different way, you know? So that's awesome. And it's nice when you have like the core reasons why you have what it's doing, right? And that's you're looking at it's almost like goals that are gonna help the pool pro, right? - Yep. - And help their businesses. So I'm gonna ask this as we're getting completed here. Are anything new that you're allowed to talk about yet that it's gonna be integrating or anything with pool bring? We're all so excited to hear 'cause it does so much already. - Yeah, so first of all, I'll just say that I'm the type of person that would love to just tell you absolutely everything. But I've gotten myself in trouble in the past 'cause things can shift. And if you do say, "Hey, we're gonna do this awesome thing and it's gonna be a year from now," people think you said yesterday and they'll hold you to that. So I will, I will teach something. I'll talk about some larger strategy, but just know that there's a ton more things and just 'cause I don't mention them, doesn't mean it's not coming. We're working on it. - There's a lot of stuff on the coming up for pool bring. - Oh, so much stuff. - And we're moving faster every year. - Awesome. - We release every month and we move faster all the time. So tons of things coming, but what I can talk about number one is what I mentioned earlier is the LSI automatic dosing. So that's gonna be coming next month. We're about to release either end of this month or early next month, the ability to track multiple pieces of the same equipment type and still have all of the automatic scheduling or workflow frequencies intact for that, which is easier said than done. We're about there. And then we're going as well to add, well, I don't wanna say that when you had just building my shift gears. So ordering. Obviously right now you can order with heritage, you can go all the things they say, cost sinking, all that stuff. We can do inventory as well. But what we're about to do is expand that capability greatly and we're working on that in phases. We're about to release phase three, about a six phase roll out on inventory and ordering and phase three, which we're hopefully doing to the next one for two is launching. And we're already working on it that launching in that timeframe. You'll be able to do inventory with consumption units. So not just all goods like pumps and filters and et cetera. You'll be able to actually say, hey, here's my, yeah, I order a palette of taps. Let's just say a palette of 25 buckets of taps. And then I can still sink costs down to the stock unit level, which is a bucket automatically. So it's not making you do it as a palette. And then from there at the bucket web, I can say there's 100 tabs in the bucket, just using a number, 100 tabs in a bucket. And then as I go through a route stop or a job doing, what I'm doing already, it will automatically dose and that will all work with the consumption unit properly. And then it will automatically come off my truck. So you'll be able to visually see what's on your truck. You'll be able to visually see that I have a bucket of tabs that's half empty, approximately. And then also for jobs and stuff like that, we already have today Whole Goods auto deducting from truck inventory. So now we're about to have Whole Goods and chemicals and consumption unit items like maybe you have a, you buy PVC and sticks of 20 feet, and you consume them by the foot that will come out the truck automatically. But then the other side of that, which is the coolest part, is the automatic ordering side. So right now you can order through Heritage through the web dashboard, or web dashboard, but not through the app. The technician can't just go and do it directly through the app. But this is what I mean about working down towards the smaller companies that are out in the field and they've got the owner operators doing everything from the app. We need to get to that point. So what we're working on is what I call the closed loop solution, where ordering happens automatically as possible, and then the inventory deduction happens at the end. So from ordering to consumption, it's a full closed loop. And the idea is you'll have a shopping list in the app. And when you wake up in the morning as a technician, it'll be prepopulated with what you should be buying that day. And that will be based on the job you're scheduled for, whether it's a repair job or an install job, you can see the products on it. You'll know if you have it on the truck, and you'll know it goes to the shopping list automatically. Same thing for chemicals. You could have minimum stock settings, or you could have a look forward period. And this is what I've always wanted, is to say, hey, based on the schedule I have, I want three days worth of chemicals on the truck at all times. So based on what you can see for chemical consumption on these pools, and what I have going forward for these days and the weather, tell me what should be on the truck. So you'll wake up in the morning, and it's just going to be there. And then the technician can just tap, tap, tap, or select all. And then they could say, put it at my closest hair to your branch on a will call or deliver it to whatever. But most time, technicians just going to will call it. And they show up at that branch and gets loaded onto their truck. They don't have to stay in a line. Waiting is a will call. And then it automatically gets put into their truck inventory and gets marked off on the shopping list because we can see that with heritage. And we can just do that automatically. And then the new jobs normally comes off your truck and it's a full-close loop. So we're moving towards that. All of that should be done by interview. Wow. That's amazing. That is amazing. I always want that. I always want that. That's really going to be a game changer. I agree. Getting down to the one pollers who are wanting to be able to do their ordering and stuff like that. And maybe they don't order by big pallets. They're not buying as much as a big company does. So you're getting down to a smaller consumable amount. That's amazing. That's amazing. Yeah. And the theory of it will work for small companies and work for large companies. It benefits both. You know, you can have it right in the app, super convenient. So yeah, excited to get that fully done. But phase three should be done here pretty soon. And then we're going to go into four or five in six to be done by interview. Can't wait to see what other new things and integrations that you guys have in the next couple of years.
