Francis Reacts to the Internet Invitational | Son of a Boy Dad #449

The podcast blends humor, personal anecdotes, and product promotions in a lively format. It introduces Papa John’s new seven-topping pizza as a premium option, promotes Rujia Reddy’s ED treatment with a 15% discount, and recommends High Noon’s passion fruit vodka as a fun, guilt-free gift for gatherings. The hosts explore the surprising ingredients in candies like "Bunch of Crunch," which contains rice, sparking a lively debate about candy composition and nostalgia. They dive into the cultural significance of classic treats like Butterfinger and Heath bars, while also highlighting the absurdity of Halloween candy traditions and internet-generated jokes. A segment on percentages reveals how people misunderstand performance metrics, such as overestimating effort at 110%. The discussion also touches on internet pranks, like comedian Ludicrous’s outrageous requests for 400 mince pies or massive condoms, and leads to a humorous reflection on internet culture’s absurdity. Throughout, the tone remains playful and self-deprecating, with topics ranging from snack food to comedy, fitness, and digital trends. The conversation ends with a lighthearted nod to the satirical nature of modern internet humor and the enduring appeal of simple, shared experiences like a good game of golf or a housewarming gift.

We are here live from HQ three. It is 12 20 a.m. 12 20 p.m. Hello. How are we doing? SAS has gas. I'm gasped up. You couldn't even imagine. Can't spell SAS without gas. Well, you can. You know what it was, the bunch of crunch, the bunch of crunch. I was on a, oh my god, just a rampage last night. Have you guys ever had these? Of course. Unbow. They're my movie theater. Go to unbow. Where do you come outside of a movie theater? It is. That's when you know you really have a problem. No, until you get them. And then you go, I'm going to start eating these with every meal. This is just going to be like, I'm eating them like they're like a thing of almonds now. Just shaking them around in my hand. Throw them on a salad like the top of a lasagna, crushed it with a bunch of crunch. They are good. But they are. They're in my recipe. Yeah. They trap air. Oh, big time. That's how they get the crunch. Yeah. I mean, I must have taken down a family-sized portion of bunch of crunch last night. It's popped rice, isn't that what it is? I thought it was just bunches of crunch. Yeah, the crunch is, I think the crunch is comprised of rice. Really? I don't know how to say that. I didn't know that. Interesting. So you think that's what did it? It feels like a very small amount of air. So I'm basically eating Chinese crisp, crisp rice clusters. Yeah. Really? Yeah. That's disappointing. That's crazy. I didn't know. I never would've guessed that. Why not just chocolate? Why do they got to put rice in there? Then it's just bunch. You got to be able to create the crunch without rice. What do you mean? I don't know. I was actually just about to say I just had a. I was literally about to say I just had a rice crispy treat. That's crunchy. Yeah. There you go. No, I know I was going to say there's no rice in that. And I realized it's the first word of the name. Big part of it. Yeah. Yeah. To your credit, I never thought that there would be rice in my fucking bunch of crunch. Hell no. I never thought I'd be carboloding while I was having my bunch of crunch. I thought that was just sweet chocolate. No. And I feel bad that I've pulled the wool away from rice on this treat. It was about time that I learned that you will now swear off of it. I got rice in that. You know, that's wafer. Yeah. You might be a bit of a candy expert. I might know a thing or two about a thing or two. Crisp wafer. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. That's interesting. So would you say you guys are more. Well, keep quizzing me. You want some other questions? Not Butterfinger. Butterfinger. Ooh, that's a tricky one. That is tricky. Don't tell me. Thank you. There's a lot of crunching. I mean, that's got to be like, literally, I would guess it's butter in the middle butter and. Rice. No, I don't think there's any rice in there. Yeah. It's surprising. You wouldn't have probably some caramel. You wouldn't assume. But butter crunch is a butter. Butterfinger's only like two ingredients off of a chicken tikka masala. All it's missing is cream and chicken. Oh, there's cream. Crispity. Yeah. This is what they say. It's a butterfinger is an iconic American candy bar featuring a crispy, crunchy peanut buttery layered core. So we know a five-year-old wrote this. Yeah. Involved in a smooth chocolatey coating. Crispity and crunchity aren't words. Yeah. I don't give this any merit, and I'm sticking with my. My take. Butterfinger's like on the same level of like a nature valley bar. Like when you take a bite of one of those, it just. They are great, though. It's everywhere. You'll have chunks in your molars for days. Oh, yeah. And it's, I mean, it's. It's everywhere. You could hack out some of that chunk with an ice pick. Yeah. And use it to fill things. In American sniper, there's that kid that's about to bite into the butterfinger in front of like the bizarre, and he like takes the headshot, because he knows it'll fucking explode as soon as you bite into a button. Sure. Everywhere. Shrapnel will be vicious. You know what I do like, which. Call me old school. I do love a Heath bar. I would actually. I would actually go as far to say it's probably my favorite chocolate bar. Oh. I would just stamp on the brakes. I cannot let that shit fly. Why? What about like a. What about a hundred grand? Maybe a hundred grand, but definitely not Heath. And the Heath on like ice cream is a good way to ruin some cream. Oh, no. Heath bar crunch. Heath bar is unbelievable. That's like a protein bar. Now that ice cream sandwich that I should. I used to keep track. I used to eat so many that I would actually keep track of how many Heath bars I ate. Oh, yeah. In my Heath bar. Like a fresh one. I can't really buy one Heath bar. I don't know if you guys. You were the only one who heard it, Mack. What? You kept track of your. Just fucking stepped right on the God damn punch line. What was it? I said I kept track in my Heath ledger. Oh. Very funny. It's okay. It's okay. No, no, no, no. We're a riff show. I love it. I didn't see it. I loved it. Mack got. I got the laugh from Mack. That's all I needed. But when I was my balls feel blue as fuck right now though. Mack is a good. That's a good barometer. Yeah. It's really called like ruined orgasms. That's kind of what happened. I don't know. I've never heard that. You ever seen that kind of born with a. It's a ruined category. That hasn't come across my desk yet. That's right. As there are guys about to come, they stop and then it just sort of like dribbles out. That's what happened there. Oh. Yeah, you're into that though. That's nasty. You like that. If you're watching that, you have a serious issue. That's actually what Butterfingers are made of. It's ruined orgasms. It's ruined orgasms. Lage. Oh God. Fowl. Fowl. Yeah, now, now my mind is tainted with the word. Yeah, now I don't want to talk about candy anymore. Tawfi. You ruined it. You ruined it with your sick porn talk. I have to go there. I don't have a choice. I had to slam off of a New York Times podcast where they were talking about candies and Halloween came out this Sunday and they did say that Butterfingers is the number nine candy bar, but they were going through like the hot candies and they were talking about nerd clusters. It's like, bro, but this is like, that's not new information. This isn't the news. You're telling me nerd clusters are hot. That's not fucking newsworthy. It's also like nerd clusters have been around for that. That's my point. Yeah. This isn't some new hot. No. Well, I think it definitely has had a big recent rise in popularity over five years though. Yeah. But it isn't like nerd's ropes. That's just a long cluster. Those have been around since I was born and I'm going to be honest, the ropes are better than the clusters. Do you think? Absolutely. You like the clusters? No, I like the ropes. I actually don't, I can't really eat those clusters are like, I mean, it's poison. Yeah. Yeah. All of this is. Yeah, but specifically when you're eating those, you're like, what am I, what am I doing? I'm eating rainbow clusters with balls of sugar on the outside of them. Yeah. But you can feel the cavities every time you bite down. And you're like, there's like a cackle as your teeth disintegrate inside. Your mouth. I have a full pie in my fridge right now. I bought a briar mere farm that on the north fork of Long Island when I was coming home. I bought two. I bought one and get and we ate it at the golf course at night. And then I brought one home. It's the one I, it's the same place that you gave me. - Yeah, which was amazing. - I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. - With the pie? - One man who lives alone should not have a pie unto himself in his refrigerator. - Yeah, but it's hard to get a, like what are you gonna buy? - Half a pie? - They don't sell those. - Exactly. - And these are all world pies. But like now I'm eating it for breakfast because I feel, I know I'm gonna end up throwing it out. And nothing wrong with a little pie for breakfast. There isn't, but I'm on that no sugar kick. - Well, no, you're not. - There's not any more. - For breakfast. - Bingo. Bingo. - And that's a buttery treat. Those are the most, that's a teacum masala. - Yeah. - You know what I told myself after I had some this morning? I said, it's just that it's the season. - It is, I mean, it is the season. - It's apple pie season. I had this beautiful apple pie. And I was like, soon the season will be over. And I'll be glad that I had pies in the fridge during it. You'll be in fucking, I don't even know what kind of pies do people eat on Christmas? Pecan? You're gonna be in pecan? - What do they mince meat pies? - Minced meat. - No, mince meat, mince pies? Mince pies. Mince pies. - Mince. - Christmas pies are mince pies. British fruit mince pastries. I'm not a fan, but it is a classic treat. - What? - Mince pies? The fuck are you talking about? - I'm not wrong about this. And I think you, oh, I know what you mean. - You recognize it. - Like one of the second one over in the photo. - Like that? - On the left? - Yeah. - I mean, I'm really talking about all, every photo there is one of them. - All of that looks terrible. - It's not good. - Yeah. - It's like, I mean, no, it's not bad. - Like you'll eat it and you'll enjoy it. - No, no, no, I don't even think you will. I mean, I've had like, I don't think it looks like that. - I don't think you've had mince pies. - You'd know. - I don't know if I have. - They're aromatic filling of apples, raisins, currents. And this is where it starts to get weird. Citrus zest, warming spices, spices, and a generous splash of brandy or rum. There's a bitterness to them. They almost taste like they're made with rind. - It sounds like it would be a good laxative. - You should have something. - It would probably make you shed a lot, right? - Five races, all just fruits. - I suppose. - Raisins and shit, raisins make you shit. - Do they? - Yeah, and a bunch of fiber in 'em. - So maybe you should be starting your day with a mince pie. - Yeah. - Well, I don't like the mince pies. - That's why you start your day with 'em. - No. - And then you can careful and apple pie for lunch. - Do you guys like marmalade? - I don't know, I don't know. - Are you a marmalade guy? - Or more of a jam, man. - Yeah, yeah, preserves. - I like seedless blackberry is my go-to jam. - That sounds delicious. - Seedless blackberry. 'Cause it spreads a little bit cleaner than the CD ones. But I mean, it's fantastic. I have a solution for your pumpkin pie, or your what kind of apple pie problem? You give it away as a Halloween treat. And people cut little children come to your door and they come up, put their hands out like Oliver and you slab them with a fucking crumble of pie. Just just here, bare hands. - That's a great, I think that's a great plan. - I feel like a wet wipe as well. - May be a little olive mode on the side of the hole. Open your mouth, open your mouth, otherwise it's a mess. It's coming right in. - There should be more variety in the kinds of sweets that we enjoy on Halloween. It is very like packaged candy. 'Cause it's like the Valentine's Day of the October. - You know why? 'Cause people are putting fucking razor blades in the candy. You can't be putting-- - I really thought you were gonna say Israel. - Oh, no, no. - I mean, where do you think they got the idea? - Just out of feeling somehow, there was something there now. I'm not on that today. - Taking the day off? - Yeah, yeah, someone's got it, you know? Just been hitting it hard lately. But after the cushion or stuff, I was just, I just was going too deep. - You were steaming over the kitchen. - I started to lose my mind. Kind of started to lose sight of the goal in life. - Which is? - I don't know, not whatever I was doing though. - Yeah. - On fucking the ninth page of Google looking up Jared Kushner. - That's where you just gotta sit down and look to Sneco and Myron to tell you what to do. Oh, Mighty North stars. Sneco and Myron, what should I believe? - Did you guys see the Pat McAfee? - Yeah, which one? 'Cause it was two. There was the, him talking about Utah. - That's what I saw. - And then, but you see the clip from, was it today of, what's that guy's name? - Or Vlovsky. - Yeah, Dan, right? - Yeah, Dan or Vlovsky. - Yeah. - Or Vlovsky. - He was like on their show and he was really funny. I mean, he was like, did you guys, I just found out about this the other day. Did you guys know that, and he pretty much just explained what a percentage is? - He's like, what number would you associate with percentage? - Yeah, what would you assume 1% is out of? - He's quizzing tactical days. - And they're like Vlovsky Connor. - This guy, Dan or Vlovsky. - Dan or Vlovsky. - Yeah. - And they're like 100. He's like, yeah, all right. But did you guys know that? - Oh my goodness. - And they're like, yeah. They're like, isn't your job all like percentages and stuff? - When you're a quarterback, wasn't your completion percentage? - Like three-throw percentage. Oh, and any, single sports statistic. - Yeah. - Every sport has a very important metric that is measured in percentage. But he didn't, he thought it was like out of like 50 years. - The batting average is a little tricky though. 'Cause they say batting 500. - Yeah. - And that's 50%. - Yeah. But percent is nice because it says it in the name and in the symbol. - Yes. - Yeah. - It like indicates it everywhere. Per percent. - Yeah. - Per 100. - The only time it's zero over a fraction. - Yeah. The only time it's not going to be out of 100, they tell you it's not out of 100. - Yes, it's a fraction. - Yeah. It's always that, well, percent is always out of 100. - Exactly. - Yeah. - Okay. - Yeah. - I don't know if we were above 200% effort. - Yes, exactly. - That's probably, that must've been where he got the extra. - 110%. - 'Cause he's like my whole life I've been given in 110. Now they're telling me it's only out of 100. (laughing) - Well, where's the extra 10%? Can one of you math wizards explain to me what I've been doing? - I really don't love the 110% sort of spin on things. - It's just really, I mean, it's like, all right, well now, nothing means any. - No, I completely agree, 'cause I feel like there was a big point in my life where I was kind of operating at 110. And now I've realized you really want to be hovering around like a cool 75. - Okay, why? - Well, that's fine. - It's just more manageable for longevity. - Yeah, so you don't want to overexert. You don't want to overtrain. - You don't want to overtrain. You don't want to try too hard, 'cause that's how it leads to burnout. - Yeah. - And you get burnt out. - It also always hurt me when kids would tell me that they had like a 4.3 weighted GPA. - Oh my god, you're like that. - Like giving a fuck everyone off the system. You broke the scale. (laughing) - Yeah. - And to reinvent the scale for you. - First of all, if you have a 4.0, you should be taking the hardest classes that have weighted you above it. - Yeah, that's what it means, APs, right? - Yeah, it's like the APs in the honors, maybe. - But they're like. - School didn't do that. - Yeah, if schools, if certain schools don't do that, then it's like, okay, my 3.9 now looks like shit. - Yeah, well, you can let the admissions committees know. Places like Long Island do it, big time. - We did it, we did it at my school. - Really? - Yeah. 'Cause I had a 4.3 when I graduated, I think. - That cannot be true. - Out of what, eight? - I know it's not true because you've told me that's not the case. (laughing) - 4.3 out of 100. (laughing) - But the Utah stuff was crazy too. - Brandon, I saw Brandon's take on it. - What did they, what did they, what did they walk around? - You know Brandon's coming for that one spot. - Uh huh. - You know he wants that McAfee slot. - I like that. - Which I'd find with, I would love to see Brandon on the big spot. - I've been trying to push, or I've been trying to push Brandon to go for that. - He should be. - I think he should be too. - Or there should be another type of like, like Pat McAfee's really the only guy. Like there should be another network with another college show. That's Brandon. - I mean, that was Dave. - That was literally Dave on "Big Noon Kick Off" and they kicked him off. - Yeah, well. - That's why they called it "Big Noon Kick Off." Kicks his ass to the curve. - Yeah, that's pretty insane that they did that. - Yeah, well that, I mean. - All 'cause of Ryan Day. - They bent the knee to Ryan Day. But I saw kids on the University of Utah campus getting interviewed. And they were basically like, flaming Pat McAfee, like they were edge lord podcasters. They were like, oh, I bet he's gonna take a shirt off. Like, let me guess. Like, is the tide turning on Pat McAfee even among the youth? - Yeah, I think it's mostly the youth actually, I think. - Really? - 'Cause yeah, I don't, like this is something that I feel like everything in my life leading up to this moment would make me think that I should be one of these people that is like outraged by Pat McAfee. - Right. - Which I would say I'm not, I've made fun of him, I've made jokes about him, but I don't hate him. I don't have like this crazy hate in my heart for him. But if you were looked to like, when ESPN posts, like the college football stuff and then the comments. - Yeah, what do they say? - Oh, it's, I mean, I'm talking like 30,000 comments, just being like, oh, Pat took a shirt off again. - Crying laughing, yeah. - Yeah, crying laughing emojis. - It's a bloodbath. - You know, I think Pat's an a case of anyone who just gets to a certain level of success worth. Like, it's just not cool. - It's just oversaturated. - Where, you know, again, in my experience, like he's been great to me. - Yeah. I don't know, I've never. - He had me open for him at Purdue. - Yeah, yeah. - 6,000 people, like I didn't know if he was gonna pay me or not one day, he just called me up. He's like, "All right, just grab your flights and has five grand sound." It was the most I'd ever made for a show at that time. That's pretty nice. - Did like eight minutes, five grand, went home, being like, "Okay, I guess I can live forever." - Yeah. - Charge five grand notes, that's the price. - Yeah. - Yeah, I think that he's fallen victim to his own success. - Definitely. - If he wasn't successful, people wouldn't. - Yeah. - You can really trace it all back to the album. - No, I think it was before the album. - I don't think it was. I think the album set people over the head. No one was this nasty about Pat McAfee before the album. - I don't know. - I think that there's also, I mean, the kids on the ESPN interview were like, "Dude, you're taking your shirt off. "We're all children. "You're 38 years old. "We're children." They were trying to put some nasty implications on it. But I think that. - I didn't think the video was that bad. - If you get off the internet, the shit is not as loud. I think the same thing about Jay-Z, it could be in the halftime show. Everybody's like, "If you look online, "people are acting like they're outraged. "If you just ask the average American citizen," they're like, "Oh, that'll be sweet." - Why are people mad about Jay-Z doing the Super Bowl? Why would anyone care about that? He's nothing but a great guy. (laughing) - Yeah, I don't know. I think people are online. I saw a KFC had a take and he was like, "If you're at a certain level, you should just retire. "Like if you're Jay-Z or Taylor Swift "or even Shane Gillis, you should just retire." - I mean, that's kind of what Eminem did. He'll pop up in cameos here and there, but he's not doing stuff. - No, he's nowhere. I always said that. - He's not? - Isn't he on tour? - I don't know. You don't know. - He just came out of the song with Kid Rock. - He's all the performance. - Never mind. - I don't know, shit. - Already, let's talk about Cash App. For all the parents out there with teenagers, we know you're already trying to keep a million different things under control. I wanted to go see ludicrous in concert and the only place he's performing is at Jingle Balls. - Oh, really? - Yes, 108. - You know, there's like a network of Jingle Balls that you could go to. - Yeah, it's like the Q102, the Q108. There's the New York, the Philly, the Boston. And so he's going on a tour of Jingle Balls that you could. - I used to want to go to Jingle Balls when I was a kid. - Of course, yeah. - It sounded awesome. - Ludicrous famously had that crazy rider. Did you ever see that? - No, I don't think so. - They leaked it from his Jingle Ball tour. He said he wanted 400 mince pies in his. (laughing) - It was found written in his Heath ledger. - No, yeah. (laughing) - Damn it. I've been leaking comedians' riders. - Really? - Yeah, about what they get, I mean. - This is famous though. It was like, he was doing colleges. And it was like, I want a box of like 12 enormous magnum condoms, you know? - An enormous magnum. - Six, six like brand new washcloths of this certain brand. - Have you ever heard the story about the comedian who got a, would ask for two pairs of brand new air force models? - I told you that story. - No, I've heard this story. I heard the security guy at Pittsburgh improv told me that story. - It happened in Nashville. - I've heard the story that he didn't, they went around town and found them. And then they, he didn't wear them. And he threw them in the trash. - And then I'm in ketchup. I'm in ketchup. (laughing) - Yeah. - It's fucking crazy. - He didn't want anyone in this town. - Yeah, yeah. - I'm gonna start operating like that. - Yeah. You don't have the chutzpah. - Haven't I told that story on the podcast before? - We've talked about it before. - Yeah. - But now Sas has heard it so it's verified. It's too factor. - And he can't attribute it to me. - Masty. - These are so dumb. The writer things that a ludicrous would do because he has to pay for it all. - Yeah, it's all coming out of his jack and he can afford everything on the list. - Oh yeah, yeah. - It's not like he's making people. - Also, there's like, this is at colleges. So there's some girl who's like the head of student, you know, events who has to drive to 14 different stores in order to get all this. - Yeah, which is also getting stuff for ludicrous, which is pretty cool. - Fine. - If you're in college, you're like, I'm gotta go, I gotta go to the store, pick up. ludicrous needs some fucking. - Massive condoms. - Massive condoms. - Yeah. - You're probably wondering who these magnums are for. - Ludicrous. - My boyfriend ludicrous. - He's definitely telling the guy across the counter. Of course. - He's really careful. - Yeah. - He double bags it. - We've been dating a long time. - This is for one session of courtists. - There's been a pack of magnum condoms on the grounds on a street I walk down every day. And every day I walk by and I'm like, oh, they're still there. Still see the magnum condoms. And I'm wondering, who's are those? - They're yours. - They must be yours. Are they opened? - I don't know. - Okay, you got to kick them. How many of all of the people who have purchased magnum condoms of let's go percent, we can talk percentages here. What percentage of every box of magnum condoms do you think has been bought strictly as a joke? - Oh, not, I don't know. That's a good question. I don't know. Probably not as many as you think. - Probably like, I'd say like 10%. - Okay, sure. One in every 10 boxes of magnum condoms bought is for a joke. - And then one, another one I'd probably say. - And probably just ends up on the trash. - It's like a kid trying to size up. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Is the kid trying to be a baggy? - Can I? - Or can I fucking fill this thing out? - Yeah. - Going in one, and in one basketball shorts, going across someone over and fucking swishing condoms. - And then three percent are purchased by balloon animal clowns who ran out of material for their giraffes. - If you're not. - Remember when people were doing that challenge online or they would like fill the condom with water and drop it on their head? - No, that seems like the same as the came to early porn that Francis is watching. - Bro, they would drop it on their head and I'm not watching it. I just know of it. - It would perfectly enclose their entire head in the condom watching it. - What do you mean? Oh, they put it over their head like this? - No, they would fill it up with water and then they would drop it directly on your head and then the elastic part would come back around and go right over your face, like a mask. And then it's just a dude with a big gallon of water attached to his face. - That is funny. - It is funny. You guys should check it out sometime. - Highly recommend. - Coming up with a new prank. It must be exhilarating. - Oh, of course. - I ran into Brown last night. - Oh really? - Yep. - The exact place that I told my story about. - Hmm, interesting. - On the spot on Monday. - He was scoping it out. - We were walking, he was walking at the exact time, which was the sunset hour along the same stretch. And we saw him and I thought, hmm, I wonder if he does this normally or if this is because his mind thought, wow, that sounded nice. Maybe we'll do it. - I stole Francis' route. - I would assume he did it because of you. But I can't give him any unoriginality accusation because I was doing the same thing again myself. - But it's your route. - No, it's not. - It is. - It's Francis' route. - Yeah, it's Francis' route. - I can't lay claim to that route. There were a lot of people out there. - It's Francis' route, right by the children's playground. - I walk quickly and find that playground and do not look. I don't turn my head. I focus on the sunset and not the little children's. - It was so funny. One of my kids was having a fucking spas attack. - No, it was a little meltdown. - He was having a meltdown. He actually had a fever of 102.8. - Whoa, we're guy. - The hell? - Yeah. - Bringing that shit in here? - No, it didn't hit me. - Never hit somebody. - He said last time and then I was sick for a week. - No. - Well, he shouldn't have made out with his son. - I mean, kids, they got a lot of germs. They carry a lot of germs. - Yeah, they do. - They carryers. - I didn't find out until that he was really sick until like the middle of the night. Like I thought that he was just being bad. - Yeah, it's acting to fool. - Yeah, I was like, "Would you put this out?" - Yeah. - It was actually a problem. (laughing) - I thought there was gonna be a blue wave. (laughing) - But I. (laughing) - Bye. He was, he was hollering in the middle of the night and I went in to go grab him. But I have been sleeping with mouth tape and a sleep mask. So imagine me fucking running into my kids screaming and I run into the fucking, his room, like fucking bounding guys. - Yeah, that's a good room, room, room. - Yeah. - Good room. - Looking like Nio and the Matrix. - Yeah. - One of the agents. - Like he's probably fucking terrified. - I was like, "Why does this happen?" Can I just go back to my old nightmare I was having? (laughing) It's just significantly worse. - Oh! - So you guys are both taping? - I don't, I don't do it. I did it very briefly years ago and kept waking up, drowning. - Yeah. - So I couldn't keep doing it. - How are you liking it? - I like it. It kind of like, every morning ripping off tape that has my face like dry. - Are you just using duct? (laughing) - I'm using scotch. - No, I'm using, I don't know. I need to find a gentler tape. - But you want something strong enough that's gonna keep you shut. - Block the air. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Block any possible flow. - I wake up significantly better rested when I have I mask mouth tape phone in another room. - Oh yeah, I'm sure. - And I chug the water beforehand. Before bed. - Before bed. - Before bed? - Yeah. - That's crazy. - Yeah, I would have to pee. - That's crazy. - I wake up with a hydrated brain and the energy of having to go pee. - Damn. - You ripping any supplements, any vitamins? - Before bed. - Super be. - Be complex. - What are we talking? - Be 12. - I do respect the bees, the killer bees. - You got to be on the bees. - But I don't take any bees before bed. - The bees are all up here, all the mental. - You're a, I'm a be complex guy. - Yeah. - Personally. - Who's your, who's your be doctor? Who's your be shaman? - Myself. - He's telling you this. - Reddit. (laughing) - Which Reddit? - I appreciate it. - You have no idea. - Reddit slash, I think I looked up a supplement for cognitive function and then the be complex came up. - What, who had you looking that up? - Just trying to be sharp. - Did you feel dull? - Yeah, I felt really dull. - When? - Uh, I don't know, probably after playing counter-strike for like 15 hours. (laughing) - Well, I got started taking vitamins. - I gotta reverse the damage on this. - Yeah, there's something, I don't feel well. I must be lacking B vitamins. (laughing) - Hey, it works. - You have to start drinking Lewis Gomez's testosterone coffee with his collagen and steroids now. - What about some vitamin D? - I did not get it from the lack of sunlight, you don't. - This is a narrative that is false. You just told us. - You played 15 hours of counter-strike. - He was playing outside. - That was weeks ago. - I haven't played counter-strike in a couple weeks. - He was walking around with a streaming setup. Like that dude, Ari, at home, who makes beats as he goes to the city. He just had it on his desk as he put in 15,000 stuff. - He was playing his storefronts the way they watched Slumdog Millionaire for the alley. - That's the dream, honestly. - The TVs were facing out into the street. - Like the Currisau soccer team. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Like they're watching. - The dream is honestly to be able to game wherever, whenever. - You have your steam. It doesn't, it's not like that. - Steam's not the dream. - It's not the dream. - Like I'm talking multiplayer intensive multiplayer games. Not just story mode. - Story mode, you can officially play those games everywhere. Nintendo Switch has them now. Nintendo Switch got Elden Ring. - Oh, huge. - You guys would probably love that. - I'm waiting for November 18th. - GTA. - Yeah. - Oh, the air just came on. The internet invitational first episode aired on Monday. - Oh, yeah. - It's now Thursday. So if you haven't seen it yet and you hope to, - You're stripping the ball. - Fast forward right now. Yeah, that one, it was me and Frankie against Bubby from Good Good and Marissa, also from Good Good Girls. She's unbelievable. She's a plus three and a half played on the LPGA, played it Kentucky. - One of the better players in the field. - Yeah. - Why did Good Good have to add Good Good Girls? - GG. - Couldn't it just also be Good Good? There's nothing about Good Good that suggests men. - I don't know, that's a good question. Ron, these are waters into which I choose not to wait. - So you've thought the same thing, but you've just mouth taped over it. - I hadn't thought of it. - Girls good good. But there are too many jokes to be told that would, you know, it would just- - I'm ruin you. - What about Good Girls good? Girls can be good too. - Yeah, yeah, I like that a lot. - Good girls. - Good good and then in parentheses girls. - Girls for this one. - There's gonna be girls in this episode. - Good girls good is good. - Yeah. - It's like going baby, going. - Yeah it is, that's what I was thinking. - Good girls good. - Well anyway, I mean, holy shit. I need some fucking B vitamins. - You were striping the ball. - And even in, you striped it. And Dave's like, is that a good shot? Was that good? - So did you say anything? Did you say anything to Dave? What do you think? - One thing they didn't show, which was crazy, was that we had our T time, right? Call it 9.40 AM. We were maybe the second group off, me, Frankie versus Bubbie and Marissa. And there was a practice putting green, maybe 50 yards from the first T box. And I was up there putting, finished on the range, had moved away from the range just to there. We were, the group ahead of us had like teed off and we still had like five minutes. So I was like, I'm gonna go hit some putts. There's just rolling putts or whatever. And then it got to like two minutes before 9.38 and Frankie yells, Frances, if you're not on the T, they're gonna make us forfeit the whole. You have one minute, run, run. - And I had to run full speed down the hill. - Hey. - As like they were counting down. Like they wanted to penalize us the way that, you know what I mean, it's cheap. - For like being 10 seconds late for a T time or whatever. - Even though you were there. - I was pretty much there. - Yeah, they could see me. - That's a little bit of a cheap shot, in my opinion, but you know, we're all looking at fun. - They're looking for any way to make it the WWE. - Of course. - Anyway, so then we, every hole we were kind of like behind, like they were just, they're fundamentally better than we are, both of those players. Bubby hits it a hundred miles and, you know, Marissa doesn't miss a shot. She's an unbelievable putter. So they beat us on a hole because we kind of like, couldn't put our wedge shot close, but then here we drove the green and managed to two putt for Birdie and they made a par. So we even got it back to tied. And then the last two holes are like, electric, because they put their shot. It's a par three on the eighth hole. The whole field's now watching our match. It's a big swing match. - How'd that feel? - You know, it's scary, but for some reason in that moment, it like it made me more excited and more focused. - That was the best shot of the match. - That was the shot here is the best shot that I hit in this match. It's so pause it for a sec. So right here it's the, it's the ninth hole we're tied. - Hey son of a boy'd ad listeners will be right back, but first a quick message from one of our partners. - Feel lucky? You should be. Meet the new lucky one sweet tea from Miss Peaches. The vodka drink that's positively doing good, made with real tea and real vodka, non-carbonated, the hundred calories. And here's the scoop. Pick up a lucky one sweet tea today and give back one can at a time. - All right, now back to the episode. - Everyone's around watching. We had to take my ball 'cause Frankie hid his left in the woods, I hit mine into the like long grass way up on the right, took us a while to find it. We finally found it. Then we had to kind of like punch that punch out. It's a par five. So we didn't get to punch out very far, which means we still have like 185 yards into the green. And they're like 80 yards away. One of their balls is like up by the green, but they didn't end up taking it. So they're 80 yards away. And Frankie goes first and he sort of hits his short. So we're not on the green. And this is into the wind 185 yards. And I just stepped up and fucking laced a seven iron smoked right at the green. - How far was it 185? - Yeah, yeah. - Wow. - Into the wind. Even kids who is relentlessly cynical and funny was like great shot. - Hell yeah. - Couldn't help themselves. - You're telling to get off the dick? - Yeah, give me the flowers. No more room brother, jump it. Jump off. And then they hit one and close and they didn't then they put it first or we put it first. I got lucky here in my put where like I didn't hit a good putt, but it was really fast. And it was because I didn't have a good stroke. It didn't go that far past the whole. Everyone else puts this putt like six feet by to the degree that they then had to go first because they were away, they put it back, they make their putt. And then we had like a three footer that we had to make to tie. And Dave's watching like I just said, I'm just going to step up and make this. Yeah, I knew I would. And like, so they're in now and now watch we have this putt and Dave goes. Francis, if you really had a flare for the dramatics, you'd miss so that Frank, you would have to put it. But I made it. Fuck yeah. So we ended up tying. We tied a far better team. This to me felt like a huge win. I mean, we really were on our back foot. That's so awesome time. And we were pretty stoked about it. That's so awesome. It was great. We felt really, really good. That's as good as we could have done. We could not have been washed. She didn't take her hat off or respect no respect. Bad details probably through the whole. I think there's a whole lot of like this assembly required for that. It's a slide it down. Yeah, it's like taking a bra off or something. I don't know. I don't I can't pretend to understand that the intricacies of John look big. John look like a stud. Yeah, he was doing really well. Who's body with the sleeveless sleeveless? Yeah, that's Bobby Ray, which is such a perfect name for how he dresses and looks. When he and he was and he was the kid that he was going back and forth with. I was like, what is a short game king? What are those basketball shoes? Then he's like the difference between your prowess and your mouth is unbelievable. I'm going to put you in the fucking ground. I was like, I could have you in the ground in one second. You know, the short game king was like, huh, a lot of energy. Yeah. Yeah, so it's fun. It's a fun watch. I I don't know why, but like, um, I didn't really. I knew I just kind of watched my own shit. A little bit of the other team. I mean, it's long. Yeah, I got to watch. I'm going to watch it today. Yeah, it's really good. I feel like I can find the time we can all find the time. Yeah, exactly. He's probably the hyperbaric chamber with it like projects. It only outside of the wall, but still look at this guy. Dude, this dude's enormous. Like he's also six, five, he's fucking. He seems so secure, enormous. So he's a long drive guy and he can't help himself. He swings out of his fucking shoes on every. Oh, yeah, like even if he has a pitching wedge, he's like, Oh, it's 200 yards. I'm going to hit pitching wedge and then swings as hard as he can. I used to do that forever. And I realized that that was why I sucked. This is the kid chirping him. I mean, he didn't even like get in his ass bad at all. He said, are those basketball shoes? And he's like, I'll put you in the fucking ground. I mean, he's probably on T. Yeah, right? Yeah, I don't know. It could be nanny. Now Tyler says now. I just kind of based on his attitude, you know, yeah. Yeah, true. If you're talking about putting someone in the ground on the on the golf course over breaking balls, like what and what he have said that to like Whitney. If Whitney broke his balls, or is he, does he think he's the man? Because this, this kid's getting more than him. That is a good question. Francis, you should have told him that I'll put you, I'll put you in the fucking ground, bitch. Man, Zell and Grootin are out there. Jay will sleep on that shirt. To make some sleeves out of your pants. Let's get you. Let's fix you some sleeves. Did you some damn respect? Why do you keep ruining your shirt? Jersey, Jerry was really funny. Yeah, man, Zell and Grootin, man, like, hey, man, I'd love to have a beer with you, man. You didn't ask him nothing about football. How's your body feel? Okay, got out of their unscathed. I'll tell you what, I'll tell you what I spent some time with Johnny, man, Zell. He's very different from how I pictured him being. How did you picture him? He's not the man. He is exactly the man. That's the, that's what I pictured. That's what I did not expect. Really? Not only is he the man, but he is incredibly like polite and inquisitive, so down to earth, like asks you questions about yourself, asks you a question about your family, where'd you grow up? And then like you, if you continue talking to him 20 minutes later, he'll like bring up stuff that he learned about you. Oh, yeah, yeah. He restores it. Yeah, he's listening. He's a people pleading. He's like, no, maybe I don't know. I wouldn't say that. He's an active listener. Yeah, yeah. He's just like a really, I don't know. I was impressed. I was very impressed because, I don't know, you make assumptions, right? Based on his reputation or his playing career or what you've heard about him in the media. Honestly, in a situation, in an environment like this, I would have completely expected him to just be like the guy. I would have expected him not to care. I would have expected him to kind of just be on the periphery, like, I'm better than this, whatever. That's, that's what my unfair assumption would have been. Yeah. And that's not how it was at all. He's kind of a guest in their space. Who would you say is like the alpha star of this entire thing? Ryan Ruffles. Rough? Yeah. Ryan Ruffles. Ryan Ruffles came into this thing. Um, he didn't play last year. Is he a golf tuber? Well, sure, but he's also like plays on the PGA tour. Uh, he's a genuine like pro. Well, as he, he's named like a cartoon bear that like teaches you to wipe your ass. Yeah. Well, don't be fooled because he's a genuine fucking killer because he doesn't have sleeves on his shirt. Ryan Ruffles. Well, you would have thought that way till you see his fucking biceps. Ryan Ruffles is very like handsome. He's got this cool Australian accent. He's, um, Ryan Ruffles. He's like a huge, he's a huge comedy fan. Oh, hell yeah. It goes to the seller all the time. Um, and he was like the upstairs room at the stand. Cool. What about the patio? I'll let him know to go check out rising star. A little Sasquatch, um, but yeah, he's the man. And he's also just like everyone knew he was the guy. And so when, does that come with like, um, you know, if everybody's standing in a circle, he'll maybe say some more words, you know, everyone's kind of deferring to him. Like, who's the social star? Oh, that's a good question. It just seems like there's a lot of respect on the course. The social star, maybe like maybe, um, I don't know, you know, like the spin chicklets guys always seem to have a little bit of like, a little pop magnetism. Yeah, yeah, it's so funny and like, well, like Robbie Dave. Oh, yeah, yeah, of course they're thing. But I think those are obvious. But yeah, the chicklets guys have a little. I would say the chicklets guys, maybe Santino. Santino is always like killing everybody. And he's got a group of people around laughing, for sure. And then like, um, Horvath obviously. No, but grants pretty like just, I don't know, he, he, he's not like holding court and performing. He's like, understated and my LVPs from last season, both redeem themselves. Horvath and, uh, Juan. Yeah, yeah, they, yeah, uh, Luke, Juan was awesome. He did that. You know, it's funny. He did this thing where he like, he slept, he brought a tent to the first tea and like, Dave arrived early and like, didn't know who's in there and opened it up. Saw that look, it's slapped on the first tea or theory. That's the bit and Dave loved it. Yeah, but it's a bit. Yeah, Dave does not like bits. No, no, you got to have a pretty damn good bit for Dave to like it. He's not a bit sky. You know, if you did that, he would be like, what the fuck is with the tent? He was like, he knew with a golf club. Yeah, he's in there. Look, he's, he's, he's laughing very hard. That's amazing. He doesn't really like bits. This is a whole, this is a bit. This is his first bit. That's a bit right there. I mean, there's no way he slept there. Look how feathery his hair is when Luke, when Luke, yeah, when Luke leave in condition. When Luke got picked for his team, he walked up to the team with a sleep mask on. Oh, that's funny. So he was really, he had a couple good bits. I like that. I like that. That's the way to own it. That's great. Same with Horbath. He was like, yeah, I didn't know who Gruden was. Now I know better than ever who Gruden is. I thought that that was very, yeah, I think the people from this year who were in it last year were very aware of how you can come off and were protective of that. And then there were some new people that might not have been as aware who are going to learn the hard way. Maybe to, to protect their, you know, image a little bit more. Big John going back and forth was Dave was great. What I was now, yeah, I was no, that was my question. I was talking Kyle there in it. Yeah, Kyle and Saleem are in it. They were on it. They were in the other teams that I wasn't playing against. So I had no real exposure to them. I don't, I didn't get to see them much. Were they full sending her? Was it like more of a half send? I'm not sure. I wish I had more. I wonder if they were doing it. any wheeling. What's that wheeling any chicks? Oh, is that what they say? Yeah. Oh, yeah, where are they wheeling chicks? Is it wheeling any birds? Any birds? I don't know. I mean, there's a lot of smoke shows to women in the field are like all plus handicaps. They're fucking incredible. Yeah, yeah. But what about how they look? Yeah, what about their bodies? Oh, God. So, so you're telling me Kyle wasn't holding court because that kind of pops my bubble. That kind of dissolutions. I don't, I don't know. I don't know. What about Tony? You can front Tony. You know, sounds like no. He was not happy with me. Really? Yeah. Tony. Yeah. What do you do? Did I not tell you this? No. I met him and he was chilly, very chilly. And he's not a chilly guy. I think he is. No, he knew. He knew what I had said. But what it was, what did you, all you said was that he stole my video, which he did. And then we made fun of him for having a porn addiction. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, I mean, that's just what he read. We read the news. Yeah, that's just a really made fun of that. That's exactly what we did. We, we, we mocked his addiction. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's fake. Yeah, yeah. It's a funny addiction. It is until you run into the person who's one of the most successful people on YouTube. That's how you know what you're like. That is how you know it's fair. He's not living under a bridge. No, no. No, but he had seen it. Would be my assumption. Yeah. He didn't like it. We can't take a joke. So he wants to steal your joke. But he can't take I can't say for sure. But I, I, I very much distinctly have the impression that he, he had seen it. Whether it was the porn part or, or me, or me shitting on him for stealing Harry's joke. Real, which is to say, like, look, yeah, I talked shit. I did. I did it into a microphone. You got to go more back. So what happened when you went up to him? Like, were you going up to him with the intent of saying no, no, he was like sitting with Brad and I didn't realize and I went to say hi to Brad. And then I saw him and I was like, I was like, Hey, and he gave me a handshake with courteously. Yeah. Of course. But there was class. And then, but it was like cold. I could feel ice spreading up. I was like, yes. Yes. How are you sure? And you know what? That is absolutely fair from him. Hell no. Yes. It is. No. Yeah. I stole my video. We told his video. He stole my intellectual property. I stand on what I said and I stand on his right to treat me with very little regard. I think that's absolutely fair. I think that's fair. He thinks that you're, I think you're just a meme. Not a. Yeah. He thinks he's him. I would, I would, I would have said what I said to you guys, maybe not the porn stuff. I would have said the porn stuff to be hammer home just as hard. I would have said the part about the video to him personally. And I wouldn't have been surprised if he did not receive it well and treated me with little regard. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Basically is what happened. I said it into a microphone. I'm assuming he saw it and had had had no time for me, which is utterly fair. And by the way, he doesn't have time to come up with his own fucking videos, but, but, but we're, I'm, I'm, you know, I thought about it. I was like, that's, that's all that is fair. How that all went down is utterly fair. No, I think it's fair. I would like to hear the conversation like, Hey, Tony, what are you mad about? Yeah. And is it what's, and what's it most charitably? What's his argument? I was just trying to give you guys like credit. I was just trying to remake the original. I wasn't mad enough about it at that point to press it on the video thing would have been weird if you were. Yeah. I didn't want to make him pay for it. Yeah. What's the new porn category we learned about today? Ruin to orgasms. Ruin to orgasms. Yeah. That's probably his shit. Oh boy. Yeah. I mean, that's kind of his addiction kind of ruined all the stories. I live in a ruined orgasms. I kept thinking about that riff you two had. I don't know which one of you it was about like having to tell you. Oh, yeah. You're addicted to porn. That was just laugh. Yeah. That was a very funny thing you said. Yeah. Yeah. Get everybody in there. I mean, the more I think about it, they'll like, I feel like if I was him that I guess I get it because it's probably something that you don't want public then don't publicize. But why would he have publicized it in the first place? That's when I'm like, he's a fully child fan base. Why would you think that's something you got to get out in the open? That's how people feel about it. Did you ask? Didn't ask. Didn't you? Didn't sense. Hey, I had a question for you. Why are you talking about the porn shit? Very bad. My nephew watching. He didn't. He, you're the first he heard of porn. We're just doing this again now. And next year, I really, I mean, imagine Tony, Tony, Tony, walking into his house and everybody's fucking everybody's sitting there. Oh, yeah. Hidden with the intervention. Yeah. Like we found your hard drive. Yeah. We found the drive. We found your search history. Private browser. I mean, if you got a hard drive, I'm not saying obvious. I know Tony didn't have a, I hope we don't know if he had a hard drive. But if you got a hard drive, that's what I would, I think, okay, I'm going to rephrase my porn addiction thing. If you've got a hard drive, you are an addict. That is, that's a full addiction. Yes, yes. But you only ever hear about people having hard drives when it's illegal porn. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Having a hard drive is kind of like being like a squirrel who biologically wants to just collect nuts for the wintertime. Yeah. If you have a hard drive, the FBI found it. Yeah. They're carrying it out in evidence. If it's an external hard drive. Yeah. Because all, it's all on the internet. Yeah. You don't need to keep it. No, no. Never once have I watched porn have been like, how do I download it? Yeah. How do I save this? Can't lose it. I need this offline. I never know what if the grid goes down? Yeah. There's a lot of shit with the cyber attacks going on. Like, just to be safe, I've got two terabytes of porn on external. I have a rack of like dry rice and beans. I have like several gallons of water, a backup generator, and my favorite porn's on a hand crank that I don't watch. I mean, it's not a bad idea to get a little hard drive going for the, uh, you know, for the, for doomsday. Yeah. Yeah. For your doomsday. Then we'll just go back to analog. We'll go to like magazine. I mean, I'm just thinking in general, you know, get like interstellar on there dark night. Oh, yeah. A little porn may be. Yeah. Yeah. Like hide the porn in a folder of a movie that you know, no one's going to watch. Yeah. Right. Right. For that too. I knew, by the way, I knew not to try to make amends with him over. I knew not to be like, by the way, I know I said something. I wasn't that would have been ridiculous. Yeah. But I also felt awkward. Of course, you know, I don't have malice towards him. No, of course not. Um, you just stole from our friend. Yeah, that did piss me off when he did that. But by the time we had the internet invitational, I didn't care. I didn't like so many things. Yeah. But you also, if you go hard on an apology and then we hit them with the second flurry of porn jokes, then he's going to be trained. I didn't know that you guys are going to light the fire again. And I mean, I'm not even talking about him. Can't wait for next year. You know, I'm not even talking about him specifically. I was talking in general, nothing but respect for Tony. Now that we've had this conversation, I'm going to have to destroy my hard drives. Oh, yeah. Because otherwise he'll come right back and yeah. Yeah. No, you don't have hard drives. I don't have hard drives. I've soft drives. You floppy disk. So early old porn. Yeah. The big thing now is the home server. You guys familiar with the home server, the home lab. No, that's probably what that's what the, I bet Tony's got one of those accessible. I was going to build one. I was going to build a home server. Yeah. But then I was like, I don't know what I would ever need this for. He's got an underground reservoir of cooling water. Boy, he's really using a lot of water. He's got a data center in his backyard. Purchase the fucking outer space satellite. It's my porn tower. Yep. 700 terabytes of porn and everything that's ever been jacked off to is in that, in that server. And I mean everything. Yeah. Everything. It's a walk-in room. Wired it myself. Yeah. It took me a while. I've been working on this puppy for about a year now. Finally, she's up and running. It's the criterion collection. Doesn't that exist at like the Playboy mansion? There's like a, like a room full of like reels of old like Playboy. Sure. Yeah. But it's all in like, classics. Microfeesh. Yeah. Probably. That's why this is now worth it. That's why Tony that's made it worth it. We can't cut any of this. It's too fucking funny. That dude perfect warehouse. Yeah. Yeah. Four. That shit's crazy. They have an insane office. It's a shell corporation for his towers. Oh my god. I mean, they probably got some freak shit in here. Wait, that's the court from the diddy. It does look like it from the hotel. The one that they via the Vegas people stated. Yeah, we're on the best. You're on the basketball court. Tony. These guys are literal pioneer. Do you think that he like, do you think they like their job still or do you think they're like at this point? They're like, this is fucking awful. It's like, obviously you get sick of any job. Yeah, sure. But like, trick shotting. I get a certain point. I don't think that's what they're doing anymore. Dude, they've like expanded into the biggest people on. He was the de facto most famous person in the field. Yeah. Yeah. I believe that. I think he's the de facto most over Ryan Ruffles. Yeah. Yeah. I only would guess maybe Kyle from milk would have claim now. Well, even like he's obviously, he's massive. But before they had 60 million subscribers on YouTube. It's bananas. Yeah. What's like Mr. Beast level? How many does, uh, how many does milk boys have probably like two million, three million? Yeah, that's, and are they just mostly doing golf stuff now? No. Hey, son of a boy ad listeners will be right back. But first, a quick message from one of our partners. Oh, wow, Drake is the fucking bro. That's your guy. He gave Kyle the layup like that. That's your love, bro. That's why you couldn't. You never see Kendrick doing some gay shit like that. Gay shit. 20 women. 20 women. Why would you want to fight 20 women? He came out on top or no, that goth girl beat him. Yeah. He made it to the final plan. Fake goth. No tattoos. She's AI. She's fully fake goth. No, she's not even a real human. Yeah. There's almost no chance. Pikachu. What's going on with Drake? Why is he doing shit like this? Why is he doing videos with like porn or only fans, girls? Like, what is this? This is Drake's. This is Drake's good friend. It's his birthday. He just had his birthday. I don't give a shit. What is he 40? Probably, probably exactly time to hang it up. Time to quit doing shit like this. What? Start a family. He has a family. Take care of him. Have you seen the donuses left hand? No. He's a good basketball player. This is the goth. Fake goth. You're just saying she is good makeup. Oh, they just pretty much just paint her white. Imagine how Tony was doing himself when he first saw her. Oh, no. He was punishing himself. All right. I got those torus for lunch. Nice. How was it? D. T. It's actually great. Yeah. Yeah. Way better than Chipotle. Did you hear what? Did you hear what Bob said about Chipotle? No. Bob does sports. He was like, they have a clubhouse issue over there. He said that the guys behind the counter Chipotle are like, have the worst attitudes of anybody that you ever met in your life. He feels bad about them. He just, he thinks that there's like something internal going on at Chipotle. I think they probably just hate their fucking job. I mean, that's not that's not my. I never understood that. I never understood that when people are like the guy McDonald's was such an asshole. And obviously he's fucking miserable. Would you think he's just he's going to be sunshine and rambos just serving you your fucking fries? Some people are. I mean, that's how you get a job at Chipotle. Killers. That's how you get a job at in and out in and out. Got workers. Yeah, but in and out. They get like, I think they get paid a lot. Probably isn't in now like the best fast food place to work. Chick-fil-A, they have the whole, they have the whole Christian. Chick-fil-A's awful to work at that my pleasure. Shit. What's wrong with it? It's gratitude. They don't want to be doing that. It's not their pleasure. They would, you wouldn't apply to Chick-fil-A unless you wanted to be doing that shit. No one's forcing you to do that. Yeah, that's true. You go work at the bell. Yeah. Go work at the bell and be nice to someone. Have you guys ever seen those Taco Bell cantinas? Yes. Those are hilarious. There's one not far from me. Is that where you can drink? Yeah, yeah. No, I haven't. You might have an Uber driver in Syracuse and we were joking around about it. It's having an absolute hoot. I think Donnie once started like, drank all day and wanted. He watched everything super bowl there. He watched the Patriot Super Bowl from the Taco Bell cantina in China. I mean, I've been, they have one in Chicago that I went to. I mean, they are fun, you know? So you can have like a well tequila and margarita? Well, I think it's more like you get a baha blast with a little little juice in it. A little baha splash. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. A little tang. I went to the Taco Bell in the seaport a couple weeks ago. That was so fucking depressing. Have you ever walked into a Taco Bell location? Yeah. Yeah. It's dark. Driving through is one thing, but walking into the one in the seaport is a fucking, it's a hellacious memory. I was talking to one of our guys in London for Bush and we were talking about, I was like, I was like, I just had a burrito bowl for lunch. And he was like, oh, man, I wish I could have like a burrito bowl. Like we got nothing like that. And I was like, he's like, we don't have like an a Chipotle or anything. And I was like, we was like, what's like the closest thing you have? And he was like Taco Bell. And I was like, those aren't even remotely close. Taco Bell or chicken or or Chipotle. How do they not have that? Just take the sauce off the Indian food. I don't know. It's the same shit makes you wonder. It really makes you wonder. They probably just have immense pies all fucking day. That should be like, I'm going to get a burrito bowl and you come back and it's how you got Taco Bell. That ain't a burrito bowl. No, that's a bummer. Yeah. It's fucking bummer. How's the workout's gone? Really solid. Yeah. Yeah, really good. Do you get to the gym yesterday? No. You can go today. Yeah. Uh-uh. Probably not. No way. I'll probably go tomorrow. Do you get home and caught it up? No, we have to do the, I have two things I have to do still today. I heard three things. Oh no. That's fucking nightmare. Three things. Fucking nightmare. What are they? Oh, I got to do the bush podcast. Then we got to do a stream. And then I got to go to a store and return something. Oh no. Don't go up top is it? I think you can't return it anymore. I looked on the best by website. They don't even sell it anymore. Because the guy, when I got the laptop originally, the guy told me to sign up for Best Buy's membership, which I'm now a member at Best Buy. Because he said that I would be able to, he said, which when he's, while he was saying this, I was like, this is, that's never going to happen. Because like, though everything is going up in price right now, like, especially like electronics and computers. But he told me like, he was like, it's price at this right now. And he was like, likely it'll go down in the next couple of months, like $1,000. And he was like, when it goes down, you can price match it. And then they'll refund you the money because you're a member at Best Buy or some shit. And I was like, all right, it's like $30 to maybe get like $1,000 back. I was like, yeah, I'll do that. Never went down, went up. And then I took it off the website. Yeah, well, because it runs on gas, right? Yeah, it runs on diesel. Start the computer with a drop. I got a full tank in this computer. I mean, you would think, dude, like, I can't even use this thing in public because the fucking fans are like jet engines. Yeah, it is so loud. It's, it's actually insane. Yeah, to sit in your bag. The laptop. Yeah. Yeah. In case you used to defend himself. Yeah. It's like a bulletproof shield plate. Armor plate. I'm bringing that thing out when the air turns off in here. Yeah. Yeah. It'll, I mean, then someone like try to assassinate James Garfield. And he had that laptop in his front pocket and it saved his life. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Not sure. Is that your author or something? Yeah. Yeah. What kind of laptop chamberlain? It was that kind. It was the Neville Chamberlain. Yeah. Is that the first day you've worn the sweater? Yep. Is that a sweater or is that just a shirt? A shirt or a sweater shirt. Do you like it? I like it. It looks very nice. No one ever, you guys don't ever comment on my clothing. It looks just like a standard shirt. I'll give you a comment on your clothing. I feel like over the last three months, you've made an attempt to almost mute and streamline your style. Oh. Is that is that true? I feel like you were you were dressing loud for a while. And then we would make jokes about it. And I feel like that that hurt your feelings. No, no, no. I like it. So I'm sorry. I like. Oh my gosh. No, I liked it. If I would guess that this is just a seasonal shift. Oh, maybe. In in the winter, I wear more muted earth tones and things like that. whereas in the summer, I'll rip out the Kim Jong-un. Pajama party. That's what I wore to the US Open. Oh, oh, yeah, yeah. We wore that shirt to the US Open and everyone was like, what a great shirt. And then if you wear with the pants, people are like, you're fucking nuts. Yeah, yeah, you're fucking nuts. Yeah, you wear it with just regular pants. I just wore it with khakis. Yeah, khakis in that shirt. And everyone was like, where'd you get that shirt? By the way, the other thing too, a lot of people make fun of me for the clothes I wear on the show. But then a lot of people message me asking me, hey, where are these shoes you have? Or what is this? I want to get this. The making fun of his stuff. You can't have it both ways. You don't get to know where I got my shit and what it is if you're also going to be talking out the other side of your mouth and cracking jokes about it. That's fair. That's fair. Got a pickle lane. What are we talking about cashmere? Is that a part of cashmere? This is all stuff. I bought the pants and this in Tokyo. I can't wait to light up my cashmere when I get home. He sounds like you're about to catch me in the last minute. Yeah. I can't believe you actually have a fucking stupid ass. It smells so good. It's actually like, I'll go take a shit sometimes or take a piss, even just like leave, like, you know, go to my bedroom or something, leave the living room. And then I come back in and I'm like, oh my god. Yeah, one cashmere. That's awesome. How did you find that? Where exactly did you buy that Yankee Candle? Not the Yankee Candle Store, obviously, because you wouldn't get that dumb fragrance from the Yankee Candle Store. So would you go to like CVS or something? A targeted target. And you just smelled a couple or you're just like, this is the least girly one. Oh no, I don't care about that. So you smelled a couple. Yeah, of course. We just grabbed the first one that was very cool. I smell all of them. And that was the best one. Well, one of two. You got it. But I also go with I seek out Yankee Candles specifically because they last a long time. Yeah, I was like, they last way longer than those cheap ones. Have you heard the negative propaganda about the things that you're breathing in when you light a candle in your home, specifically Yankee Candles? Cashmere? Yeah. You're breathing in cash. They said that people breathe a sweater a year if you have the that you ingest a sweater every year. That's fine with me. Now, can you look up what the bad things that you breathe in by having candles in your home because this is going to be eye-opening? They say you should use scent diffusers. That this is the new way of scent diffusers. Volatile, organic compounds, soot, and fine particulate matter. Yeah, I don't know if I'm breathing in any soot when I'm lighting a candle in my apartment. Soot? Why would the internet lighten? No, yes, it's the ear's tantrum. What kind of candle? That's like if you let a bonfire in your living room. How do you do no candle? Do you know to trim your wicks? No, I didn't see. Should do that. They'll burn more evenly and slowly. Interesting. But I do it before every time. You know how when you like, re-light the candle, you look at it and the wick is long and it's got like a nub of black. Yeah, you trim the black part. I cut it all maybe halfway down. And then it burns nicely and evenly. But the Yankee candles burn evenly regardless. No, they've really had an issue. I've never had an issue with that. Well, let's put it this way. Reputable candle companies don't gain their fucking sense after particles of clothing. I mean Yankee candle has actual Yankee candle stores. You could go to the Yankee candle store. There's a lot of dumb people in America. There's not a lot of other candle companies that have their own store. But that doesn't mean that they're like the best candles. You said reputable candles that I would say Yankee candle might be the most reputable candle. But you're lighting every time you're lighting basically a box of Legos on fire. Every time that you lay Yankee candle. How? That's what's inside of them. Oh Yankee candle is very quality. Like that you can tell. That's actually why I like it. You can tell from just the glass. Like this is this is quality glass. How many other candles have you tried from different companies? Tons. No, I don't. Hundreds. I think you decided on Yankee candle. Now you're convincing yourself. Brother, I've been using Yankee candle since I was in high school. Exclusively. Yes. No, I've dabbled. No, I have not. No, I have. You've only met on Yankee. No, I'm telling you I have because that's why I say like the Yankee candle more because I did other candles and they they would they would be done in one sitting. You were lighting all kinds of different candle brands in high school? No, in high school, I was always a Yankee man. Because my family were a Yankee family. And then you decided to branch out. I branched out when I went to New York. I mean, I've only been using candles in New York for I would say two to three years tops. So there was a pair of your life where you went dark? Yeah, yeah, for a while. Because in high school, you were every night family, lots of Yankee candles. Lots of Yankees. And then and then college none. Really none for probably four or five years in New York and then last year or two. Got back on because I but I bought a bunch of candles and they all sucked. I got bought a bunch of like shitty candles that like they smelled like not even that good and they burned really fast. Yeah. And then I went back to Yankee and I said, home, home, yeah. Yankee is like just the kind of starter kit basic bitch candle though. Yeah. I'd much rather have a Yankee candle than have whatever you guys got where it's just like one of those white no cents. I used to think. Like you probably got like candle sticks in your house. The church candles, yeah, yeah, yeah, I got the shit that they stole at the beginning of labels. Yeah, now I prefer a good just a hefty beast of a candle. One that you're going to I'm going to like the smell and I'm going to I'm going to enjoy it for the next probably year. That's how long it'll take me to get through this candle. Okay. Hey, listen, I'm not going to yuck your um when you're reaching down like the tube of that mostly miss your elbow, do you like Vince Carter don't suck. Yeah, you just need one of the long lighters though. Yeah, those are so helpful. I aim the I look a little bit lighter and I aim it like a gun. Yeah, that's a terrible all the way in. You strike me someone. Are you team lighter? Yeah. Oh. Was this regular like a big? Are you talking about like one that like a cigarette lighter? Oh, but that how is that get to the candle more when it's deep better than like it doesn't? That's why I'm saying I had to aim it like a gun. Oh, and you've like hold it upside down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then the it gets hot enough that the wax starts stripping down the side. So that actually happened to me and I might have told the story before but one time I was in I was in high school and I was playing video games and I like lit a candle and then I blew it out. And it was like it had been lit for a while like it was probably like half melted wax. And then like an hour later I was like I'm going to re-light it. And I grabbed it and I tipped it and it just poured all over my bed. Oh my god. You know, I'll tell you, I played a lot of video games in high school with my friends. I cannot remember a single time that we went to one of my friends' houses, queued up a game of mad and they were like before we picked teams. I need to light this candle. Yeah, but you weren't this wasn't you're not understood. We weren't together. I was by myself. So it was only when you were alone. Oh, I'm not having my boys over and being like let's let some candles. You're just doing it when you're alone. Yeah, that's the best time for a candle. I don't disagree. I just still find it odd that you were a candle guy in high school. I think we had a candle. And it was lived in your gaming room? My bedroom. I had a candle in my bedroom. You're the only person in the family that had a candle? No, everyone had candles. I don't think it's weird to have a candle. Because you're like a stinky like high school boy and your shit like stank a little bit. I don't think my parents came up and we're like we have to give you something. It's a candle. I mean, I think I just bought it. You bought the candle for yourself. Hi guys, I don't remember. I mean, we're talking this is years ago. I don't remember how I got the candle. I remember it was a blue candle. I just didn't get into candles until like late way later in my life. That's why you got a shit tasting candles. No, no, no, no, no, no. It's why we have good tasting candles and you keep returning to this bullshit Yankee candles. It's because you had like fucking frosted flakes when you were eight years old. Now it's the only food that you'll eat at restaurants. You guys have those candles that have like the the crackle wick, the wooden wick. See, I don't even know what that is. At this point, I trust that you know more about candles than I do. You know, you've been on candles, you don't know what the crackle wick is? On the pops, like a fire? No, I don't know that. Is it like, are you really known enough for that candle? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Oh, man. The crackle wick. I was talking to a guy that just knew nothing about candles. So they, what they do is they put you in the room. Too much about candles. I'd rather be me. I don't think that's a road knew what I was talking about immediately. He's just trying to play it cool. Well, rounds just trying to impress you. No, he's trying to impress you. He's trying to impress you acting like he doesn't know what the wooden wick is. When I guarantee every one of his candles at home has that way. That's not wooden wick. Yes. I'm using a three wick and one wide candle. I like that too. That's the worst type of candle. No, no, I like that too. That's the worst candle. I like that. There's a reason that they're built like that. It's so you don't have to fucking go in, like you're fixing PVC piping to be able to light it. I know your shit's got no scent. None. I think it has more. It's got three different things burning. It gives off a much more silage. There's more silage. You fool. I'll put you boys on. I'll get you guys some Yankee candles. Bro, you can smell my shit from down the hall. Is it just me and we talk about candle a lot? No, we have we have recently. time of year. I don't mind that we do. It's just an odd thing that it's the time of year comes up. It's the perfect time of year. I mean, I haven't I didn't let a candle all summer. And now I'm finally starting to get them going again, seasonal. Yeah. Well, I'm, I like them all year round. What? You fool. I mean, I'm sure you do. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah. We don't have to relitigate this. You're dumb. I love little, those little tin cup ones. No, those are when you make candles at home. My wife used to make candles and she would put them in the tin, the little tin, the small tin containers. Would you like to say anything to ask you about this? Yeah, they don't have any smell. What? Yeah. She makes her own sense. I've never had your hers. Talking about the generic ones. These ain't generic, brother. I can have her make you some candles if you want. It's expensive. And it takes up a lot of fucking room and they're heavy too. They're heavy. Yeah, the sense are heavy as fuck. Bam. I'm out to get a candle room. You should make your own. I know. I think I will. I'll bring them in on I'll bring them in next week when I'm done. Some Confederate candles or some fucking Red Sox candles. Definitely. All right. I think that's going to do it. That'll do it for today. That'll do it for this week. That is a wild episode. Happy Halloween. Happy Halloween. Enjoy. Yeah. Have a good time. Have a good weekend. Stay safe. Check your kids candy. No open wrappers, no open wrappers. Bring a small little extra plate for pie. Bring a plate. Yeah. So there's a plate for some pie for you. And don't be afraid to get a lot of mode. All right. We'll see you guys next week. Goodbye. (upbeat music)
