Fox News Scrambles to Defend Trump as James Talarico Faces Baseless Attacks
21m 47s
A beautifully designed Squarespace website is presented as a crucial tool for transforming personal passions—like photography or cookie baking—into profitable online ventures. This theme is contrasted with the broader political and media landscape, where Fox News and other state regime media are criticized for spreading misinformation and engaging in biased, often absurd, attacks on figures like Katie Zakaria, Trump’s new press secretary. Critics argue that Zakaria, despite her qualifications, was mocked over her appearance and background, while Fox hosts like Hannity and Jesse Waters promoted offensive political narratives, such as claiming Trump’s remarks about men’s bodies are “gay.” The media’s response to the viral hospital rumor involving James Tallarico reveals a pattern of deflecting responsibility and amplifying conspiracy theories. Additionally, false claims about the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s military control are highlighted as dangerous distortions, undermining trust in official sources. The speaker warns that such misinformation fuels economic instability, including soaring oil prices. Ultimately, the narrative calls for a return to independent, fact-based media to counter the systemic lies of state propaganda, emphasizing the need for truth-driven journalism in a fractured information environment.
A beautifully designed Squarespace website is the difference between thinking about photography school and selling your portraits online.
It's the difference between giving away those cookies you just made for free and running your cookie empire.
A beautifully designed Squarespace website is the difference between having a movie reviewing hobby and a movie reviewing career.

State regime media, which calls itself Fox News, in total panic mode on live TV after Donald Trump's new press secretary, Katie Zakaria, I would say bombed, but it was way worse than bombing.
Also, was she a lawyer? Is she a China lawyer? She doesn't have a law degree in the United States.
She says her law license has something to do with China. The hell is going on?
So.
On state regime media, as Donald Trump's polls are also crashing, as Donald Trump every day looks more and more deranged and demented,
and as more and more MAGA and Republicans and independents are just disgusted by this guy.
Here's what they're doing on regime media.
Propaganda, Sean Hannity, says he's such a snowflake, Hannity.
Zakaria, she's been mocked and attacked.
They're talking about her hair and the way.
She spoke.
Could you imagine if we did this to Kareem Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for?
But could you imagine?
I can imagine.
I know what you did with Obama when he wore a suit color that you didn't like, which is far different than having a press secretary who's not a public speaker, but more alarmingly has a background showing that she is a major QAnon supporter, it seems.
Or at least she would.
She would repost lots of QAnon stuff, in my opinion, that's what it was.
She's out there posting Michelle Obama has a penis and Barack Obama is gay, and she would say all of these horrific and disgusting things, and she's the press secretary.
Anyone want to do a little vetting of her?
Anyone want to do a little?
This is what Hannity had to say.
Here, play this clip.
A perfectly normal question and answer, but most of the so-called journalists, and I say so-called because that's what I mean.
We have an abusively.
Biased, corrupt news media in this country, the legacy media mob, as I affectionately refer to them.
They are not interested in real questions and real answers.
They are out for blood.
Zachariah has been mocked.
She's been attacked over her appearance, her hair, the way she spoke.
They questioned her intelligence, her credentials.
They even asked about her bar exam.
Could you imagine the press asking similar questions to Korean Jean-Pierre?
Asking about her background, her record with Zachariah, a blowback was immediate.
It was nasty.
And all of this from a group of people that claim to champion women in the workplace, which brings us to some.
Then you had Dana Perino saying, it's a good thing that she's a lawyer, because if and when Democrats take control of the House, she can use those law skills, Zachariah.
She's not a licensed lawyer.
Having to go there.
He's having to go to Alaska.
It's a long way to go to have to do that.
So I think it's one of those things where you're the press secretary leading into a midterm and leading into the last two years.
I do think that if the Democrats do end up taking the House, her law degree will come in very handy.
Okay.
Then you had Jesse Waters, one of Fox's other propagandists, defending Zachariah by attacking Korean Jean-Pierre.
Remember Korean Jean-Pierre?
Remember we did whole segments about how catastrophic she was?
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
Didn't Hannity just say that?
Didn't he?
Oh, you don't even have your talking points.
You just, even when it comes to this, you have to attack Biden.
Biden's Biden.
Biden's press secretary.
This is a Biden issue, everybody.
The press secretary.
I mean, she has big shoes to fill.
Caroline Leavitt was amazing.
And remember, Caroline.
It started in the campaign.
So she had all that runway leading up to the job, a lot of access, a lot of proximity to all the players.
Katie gets the job Friday, flies back to California Saturday, packs a suitcase, flies back Sunday, first day Monday, briefs Tuesday.
So as she does this, she'll develop authority and she'll be great.
I know how devoted she is and she's very smart.
You know, the Democrats are going to criticize whoever it is.
Yeah.
They had Binder.
Yeah, exactly.
We did whole segments about how catastrophic she was.
She couldn't talk.
She couldn't pronounce words.
Where is Korean Jean-Pierre?
So forget about all that noise.
Forget about it.
And then propagandist Jesse Waters says, you know, look, I give Donald Trump a lot of credit that on the campaign trail for the midterms, as he's out there speaking to the voters, that he's talking about men's asses.
Like John Euston's ass.
The Republican senator of Ohio.
Jesse Waters says, you know, look, Trump says a lot of stuff that guys think about, but we don't want to say it.
And sometimes it's gay.
That's what Jesse Waters says.
He goes, but lots of straight guys think gay things.
I kid you not.
This is what Jesse Waters says.
A lot of straight men think all these gay things, but Donald Trump says the gay things because he's so straight and we can't say it.
Because we're not as straight as him.
It takes a real straight man to say gay things is basically what Jesse Waters says as part of political rallies while the American people are suffering and can't afford anything.
Yes, Jesse Waters.
Whatever you say.
Whatever you say.
I go back to the warning that Jesse Waters' mom gave him when he took this job at Fox.
And I could only imagine what Jesse Waters' mom is thinking right now.
I know.
What's up?
Jesse Waters' mom's a big Midas fan.
So I know she's watching this video, but what the hell's going on with your kid?
Yeah, I mean, we're talking about guys' asses here, Emily.
I don't know why you're talking about Alaska.
Listen, Trump says a lot of stuff that we all think, but we don't say.
And sometimes it sounds a little gay.
But he can get away with it because he's straight.
Like, we talk about guys' stuff sometimes.
Like, Greg has no ass.
Flat.
Just falls off his back.
Can you say this?
I don't know if that's true.
The president said it.
This is the topic.
And, like, Johnny.
It's Greg.
Can I talk about my assistant's body?
I don't think so.
So Johnny's built like the Tin Man.
You ever see him walk around?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's like his hip sockets are too lubricated.
He's just like this.
You think his leg's going to fall off?
I saw John Thune one time in a locker room.
The guy looks like an Olympic swimmer, right?
This is what guys say.
He was saying this guy, is his name John?
Husted?
He's saying John Husted is a phenomenal athlete.
He was an All-American cornerback, national champion,
Division III football player, and he's got what it takes.
Now, I always say vote for the better athlete.
Who's he running against again?
Sherrod Brown.
Sherrod Brown cannot play anything.
He didn't play sports in college.
He can barely catch a football.
You got to go with the guy with the better ass.
That's what I say.
Then you have Dana Perino.
Now, she's got to do the jujitsu here.
On the one hand, you have Zakaria.
On the other hand, Kimberly Guilfoyle resigned yesterday
after being embroiled in all of these scandals in Greece.
Dana Perino goes,
the zinger was Kimberly Guilfoyle was asked to resign.
Then Greg Gutfeld on the show is like,
we know she'll land on her feet.
In there, she's asked a question that she knew she was probably going to,
and there was the zinger that Kimberly Guilfoyle was asked to resign.
And that story had been hanging out there.
And I imagine that we'll learn a little bit more about that
when President Trump makes a decision to let somebody go.
He doesn't do it lightly.
So there's probably,
they probably thought there were other shoes to drop.
Well, if there's one thing we know about Kimberly,
she will always land on her feet.
She will.
She's a cat that way.
So that's a long trip home from Greece.
Yes.
Then on State Regime Media,
you have,
had one of the other hosts say,
Zakaria came out loaded with news
and dropped the mic and walked away.
What we all observed
was not somebody who had stage fright,
who was visibly panicking,
who didn't know basic facts.
That's not what was happening, everybody.
It was not what was happening.
What we saw was someone so loaded with facts,
they'd plop,
they dropped the mic on all of us,
damn, we just saw some three-dimensional chess
here play this clip.
Yes, there you go.
Diving into the deep end, we call that.
Right.
Melissa, go.
No, look, I thought that she presented well.
She didn't come off as combative,
like we've seen some of President Trump's
prior press secretaries,
present company excluded.
And she did, at first, I worried for her
because what you don't want coming out of this
is a process story.
You don't want to come out and be the story.
You don't want them to dissect every pause,
every like,
Um, should you have said
this differently. And she came out loaded with news. And then she dropped the mic and walked
away. And so I think from a strategic perspective, that was a really smart move.
You know, on CNN, you had the show, they were asking the New York Post reporter about this.
And the New York Post reporter was like, oh, you know, it's very, this is a very difficult job.
Very difficult job. I mean, don't you, the level of privilege, it's the level of privilege,
privilege that you could just have the worst of the worst of the worst, and they'll go out of
their way and act like it's normal stuff. You had Philip saying, why can't the president just hire
someone normal, man? Why can't you do that? I mean, this is one of the
hardest jobs in the world. So I disagree with that premise. And I think at the end of the day,
she got out there, she broke some news. And being Trump's press secretary, your job is
to let him be the star. And he was. She made an announcement. Let's not call it breaking some
news. No. And it was like, since she works there. The president has asked. I'm not really
accentuating. I think we've all had tough days. We've all had tough days. Give her some grace,
but I'm just telling you. Last quick thing. Holiday shopping gets expensive fast. Between
your family, friends, and everyone else on your list, suddenly you're buying a million gifts and

State regime media, Fox. This is one of their main focuses yesterday. Look at this post.
Texas Democratic Senate nominee James Tallarico's viral hospital rumor has been debunked by
timestamp security footage reviewed by the New York Times. But the bigger story, what's the bigger
story? Is the bigger story how there are these mega propagandists that Fox props up as well?
Who just lie every damn day and poison the information environment and do more damage
than even the Russian bots? They're right here. The enemy from within is here. Is that the bigger
story, Fox? No, no. The bigger story, Fox says, may be why his campaign sat on the evidence while
the conspiracy theory exploded across social media for days. And doesn't this just tell you everything
you need to know?
About state regime media, regime media's plot right here. Tallarico, the big story is why didn't
your campaign come out quicker to rebut the deranged conspiracies that you were at a mental
hospital in some random Ohio mental health facility? Didn't you see that it was going
mega viral by Trump's propagandists? We're going to now blame you for not disproving the
negative. We're going to attack you for not immediately saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, Trump
propagandists. What the hell are you? Your fault. This is their whole philosophy. You flood the zone.
You do it quick. You just have everybody pushing. And then that gets out there. So even when the
truth is revealed, people don't even know. They moved on to the next one and the damage has been
done. This is a real. By the way, we talk about. This in WTF America, the book that I wrote with my brothers that's coming out next week. Pre-order
it now, by the way. And we talk about how this originated, the Fox strategy, 1960s, Roger Ailes
memo creating right-wing propaganda. So they've been doing this now for the better part of 60
years, this plan. The Midas Touch Network's been around for six years. They've had 60.
We've had six, which actually makes me very optimistic about the future. If we can use
the fire hose of truth to push back against the fire hose of lies, if we can encourage
independent media to grow the way we are right now, that to me is something that I think we should
use our resources to do. And that's what we're doing every damn day here. Just think about it
like this.
I showed you this Fox regime propaganda. Look at the CENTCOM account. This is US Central Command.
They're like state regime. They're just an arm of regime media. We used to always be like,
Trump is deranged and demented and lies about everything. But at least CENTCOM had people who
were legit. These were top military people. Not anymore. At least the people who run this account.
Shame on Admiral Brad Cooper. He really destroyed the credibility of CENTCOM with crap like this. For real, shame on him.
Claim. The Navy commander for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed today that
the Strait of Hormuz is under IRGC control and any approaching US Navy warship would be sunk.
Fact. IRGC's Navy command has no Navy. American forces and regional partners clearly control
the Strait of Hormuz.
Yesterday, US forces assisted Gulf partners in shipping more than 19 million barrels of crude oil
through the Strait.
Okay, why lie so stupidly? Why do so? You're not doing 19 million barrels through the Strait of
Hormuz. You're not getting out more oil or the same as the amount of oil as before the war started.
Stop it. We see Iran striking tanker after. We see it blown up. We see the tankers. If you control the Strait of Hormuz,
that means you control the ability of the enemy not to impose its will on the Strait.
Iran doesn't need a Navy, you idiots. That's the whole point of modern warfare. All they need is
their arsenal of anti-ship missiles, the ballistics, the drones, the cruise missiles.
They've got that. They've got their fast boats. That's all you need for modern warfare. So you
could brag about sinking. You could brag about sinking. You could brag about sinking their Navy, but they are imposing their will in the Strait of Hormuz.
And if you control it, then here's what you would do. You would bring in your Navy destroyers or move your aircraft carrier closer if you think you control it.
The truth is, Iran has destroyed Bahrain's Fifth Fleet and the main logistical hub there. Most bases in the Middle East have been destroyed by Iran, most U.S. bases. The aircraft carrier that's out there, the U.S. bases, are destroyed by Iran.
The USS George Washington is over 1,000 kilometers away. And Iran continues to strike these tankers. That's the reality of the situation right now. Crude continues to go up. Diesel and gas prices continue to surge. We'll probably hit $110 a barrel today, soon. For Brent, that's probably what we'll hit soon. So just stop with the stupid lies. And then we wouldn't be drawing down the strategic petroleum reserves here and in Europe.
If there was this glut, there was so much, there was such a glut of oil, why would we need to be drawing down the strategic reserves? Also, listen to what the CEO of Aramco, Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company, says. We've lost 3 billion barrels in this catastrophic war already.
If there was this glut, there was such a glut of oil, why would we need to be drawing down the strategic petroleum reserves? Dated Brent, Dated Today, or Spot Price Brent.
spot or dated, that's the terminology, that's $150 a barrel today. And that's going to go up
more and more. And don't even get me started on something called the crack spreads, the spread,
the delta between what the price of crude is and what the price of diesel, oil, and jet fuel is
from the refinery. Because these cracks, you can put crude in a car or a tractor or a truck.
It has to be refined into gas or jet fuel or diesel or whatever the refined product is, right?
Those prices are incredibly expensive. And the spread between the crude and the refinery price
is super high right now. And that's why we're all paying record prices. So anyway, I just wanted to
give that little oil lesson as well when you see scent compost derange things like that.
Well, there you have it. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get to seven. Oh,
get the copy though, if you can. Pre-order it now. Put in the comments if you've pre-ordered it.
And if you've told, can you tell five people about this? Tell five people about WTF America today.
Thanks for watching. We appreciate you. We're grateful for you.
