An early look at the waiver wire for fantasy week six right now on fantasy football today express. All right what's up everybody it's out of mazer jamey eyes at bird last two weeks pretty crazy on the waiver wire. It's the same thing jamey or is this a tamer waiver wire um maybe slightly tamer but it's definitely got some some teeth to it you know there's a couple of receivers I think that are worth adding that could have some season long appeal um there's some injured running backs that we're looking at that have some backups that might be worth a look and know some quarterbacks that might be able to uh anti dance that you might be able to start for a week six with four teams on a bike. Would you rather have Kendrick Bourne or Marvin Harris in junior rest of season? Oh that's a great one um I probably would rather have Kendrick Bourne. Okay he is seven percent rostered so who's the headliner here? I'm torn uh and probably by the time we get to Tuesday I'll have a more definitive answer but I'm torn between Kendrick Bourne and jamey Bernard you know for born it the path is there for the rest of the season for Bernard it might be a short-term path until Roman Wilson's back Michael Pitman's back so you know depending on what you're looking at I I think there's plenty of upside for Bernard based on what we saw in nine targets he looked awesome um in gaining air and roger's trust uh I don't know the last time if ever I ever saw Tracy Wolfson uh on X say go pick up a player off the waiver wire uh in fantasy and she just had the Steelers game and she said uh air and roger says uh uh uh earned or jamey Bernard has earned the trust of air and roger so um you you can definitely see the path there for the short-term but you know Kendrick Bourne look pretty awesome uh in a great match up against Detroit but you know what this offense is going to be it's going to be throwing a lot and he's now locked into a pretty prominent role. Yeah yeah eight targets and he has had uh two games now with seven or eight targets week one and week five and Marvin Harris you like better. I think Bernard I just really hate the cardinals schedule uh you know five of their next six games are just brutal so I I'm not really anticipating that either one is going to be you know I'm my roster rest of season to be quite honest with you so I'd probably just lean Bernard and assume he's going to be better because pitman's out and Wilson's out Roman Wilson was six targets every single week so I think you know that I'm not expecting nine from Bernard but you know is that that makes sense I'm expecting. Yeah absolutely here's what uh Tracy posted on X if there's any pickup I can tell you to make on waivers this week it's Jeremy Bernard takes a while for Rodgers to trust his receivers but from speaking with him and watching from the sideline he loves and all caps this rookie and no pitman and Wilson potentially hashtag dealers hashtag FF cool yeah I love it and um and uh yeah like both of them are widely available which is the really cool thing here obviously Woody marks would be I think probably number one even though hit this week tough match up but he's 72% rostered but if would he be number one if he were available yes okay uh so yeah who else do you want to talk about some running backs here so I mean the Eagles running back situations a mess right now we don't know when say one broccoli's going to return tank pigs be still in IR uh it sounds like the foot injury that will shiply sustained in London against Jack smells gonna keep him out for a few weeks I don't know what they're gonna add but Damien Pierce is probably gonna be the the guy he handled all the touches after Shipley's injury um you know at once upon a time he was a very good fantasy running back I don't think he's ever been a very good NFL running back but um he's the the the running back I would go get Marshawn Lloyd is got a you know good opportunity in coming off a strong game against Dallas this week that's awesome he's 58% rostered the Cleveland running backs are a mess right now also you have both Raheem Sanders more importantly obviously Quench on Judkins uh banged up so Jalimog Loughlin is the next running back that they would probably turn to again unless they add somebody so um there's other running backs you won't make you going in that position but um no that's fine this is yeah that's those are the headliners there we'll have more um you know on Tuesday but this is this is pretty interesting right it's three guys who have an opportunity marks being the best but having a terrible matchup Pierce having I don't know average to good matchup um and then man if like if Quench on Judkins can't get it done for for the Cleveland Browns can Jalimog Loughlin plus we don't know we don't know that uh Judkins is out right we know that Judkins or Sanders are out so you know it's uh it it to me there are there are sort of tiered like Pierce is on a different tier I think Marshawn Lloyd's on a tier by himself yeah we don't have Josh Jacobs news yet and then it's Jalimog Loughlin it's Kendra Miller who you know I don't know what the the status of Almond Camara is if they're going to just continue to let Miller be the lead rusher uh you got to obviously pick up Camara Vidal at this point uh with what's going on there with the chargers just you know terrible team and you know might be three guys sharing the ball there TaiJay Spears with nine catches can overlook that you know and just ppr opportunity there and then Rocheon Johnson just had five catches so you know as the back up to the Andre Swift to the fumble away you know he's also in the mix so you are going to find some guys that could be in the flex conversation I think are running back this week yeah I think it's it's rare to find that many guys on waiver wire that you could theoretically start at the running back position all right we'll take a break and uh gets to some more players on the waiver wire cloud about quarterbacks when we come back on FFT express Jamie how about quarterbacks now that we're back on FFT express yeah I have five guys listed but three guys I think that are in contention for this week and I'm again torn on who should be number one match up long-term short-term uh week six scenarios versus the rest of season so you obviously have pick up Aaron Rogers at this point you know three straight games of three touchdowns he's playing fantastic not the easiest match up in week six against Tampa Bay they're top 10 in terms of fewest fantasy points allowed to pose in quarterbacks but Rogers has just been on fire right now uh to gain or two division games against Cincinnati and Cleveland and he comes out and does this against Minneapolis but he's just locked in um Jamie Swinston back-to-back strong games for him great match up this week our fair will match up this week again against New Orleans I think it's worth starting him if you're stuck a quarterback and then I don't uh don't love the long-term schedule for Cucasins but I think short-term for a week six as long as he's still the starter which I think he's going to be um he gets Buffalo which is the best match up I think of all three of these quarterbacks but they're all coming into this either good season for Cucasins off of that game or the other two guys coming off strong games you can make cases for them to all be starters for this week and you're down Jared Goff uh Joe Burrow Malik Willowson Kyler Murray in terms of needing a quarterback. We're also down some tight ends not the most exciting fantasy tight ends on by this week but uh who are the tight ends that on the waiver wire? Yeah again only have a list of three uh Brent Strange Hunter Henry and Pafferar move uh Strange has been good now for back-to-back games I thought he got the Bengals bump in uh in week four but he was really good against the Eagles in week five and when you're starting to look at this Jaguar's passing attack you know we oh yeah all these mouths defeat well it's Parker Washington and then figure out the rest and right now the rest is Brent Strange for two straight games so he's got to be in in consideration as a streaming option for for the for the time being uh Hunter Henry you know look we don't know if he's your brown returns this week he might uh but the way that he's been sort of this fringe option for uh for Drake May and last week's course of touchdown you know I don't think you're gonna get like a uh a hyper-targeted game for him but you know six seven targets I think is is within the realm of possibility you could obviously score uh this week against the Jets not an easy match up as we've seen and then Pafferar Mooth has just kind of been two awesome games uh two three down games but you know a key figure here for the Steelers and the first game without both Roman Wilson and Michael Pittman he comes through so another guy you can pivot to this week and maybe start DST's so my favorite by far is the Chiefs taking on the chargers that team is just completely decimated right now as we know and they're coming off a buy after that it's kind of a mixed bag uh I have the Colts just because the Titans offense has been so bad and then the 49ers taking on the commanders um you may case the Browns still but they're pretty beat up defensively uh and the the Ravens obviously looked a lot better than I think a lot of people thought with Tyler Huntley against the Falcons so I don't think the Browns are the slam dunk uh so the Chiefs won Colts two 49ers three for me yeah Lamar Jackson might play two so keep that in mind if you're putting in a bid for the Cleveland Browns um and then I don't know maybe the Ray uh well how roster guard the Ravens probably pretty roster right the Ravens yeah I think are two roster okay all right well we got we'll have a lot more for you on Tuesday's show I'm so curious now I got to find this out the Ravens dst then rostered in 67% of leagues uh so yeah they they've been that good quite frankly no but the Browns have been a pretty good matchup all right we'll talk to you tomorrow uh with the waiver wire with Dave and Jamie on fantasy football today see you Paramount Podcasts.
