FFT Express - EARLY Week 5 Waiver Wire TARGETS! Tyreek Hill, Emanuel Wilson, Dohnte Meyers, & Others (10/05 Fantasy Football Podcast)

The transcription blends two distinct topics: a weight-loss program from Noom and fantasy football strategy. Noom offers a GLP1 medication program paired with behavioral coaching, emphasizing sustainable habits over short-term results, with a one-month subscription starting at $39. The fantasy football segment analyzes player performance, injuries, and matchups, identifying top starters and value picks such as Tyree Kill, Keon Coleman, and Dante Myers. Running backs like Zack Sharminay and Joe Mixon are discussed, with potential for a competitive depth at the position. The analysis also highlights key defensive matchups, particularly the Raiders vs. Patriots and Cowboys vs. Bucks, where strong defenses offer value. The overarching theme is long-term sustainability—whether in health or fantasy success—making consistent effort and smart planning essential. The host concludes by reminding listeners that maintaining success is far harder than achieving initial results, urging strategic, patient approaches across both personal wellness and fantasy football decisions.

Those apply, visit the website for full terms and conditions. The best player to get, wow, I don't know if there's a manual Wilson. He's still available in 36% of our leagues. I'm going to guess he's available in several more on other sites. He's a must-at. Let's see what happens with this Joe Mixon story of him visiting Seattle and Windsack Charlotte. He's going to come back to the field. If a manual Wilson starts against the 49ers in week five, once again, he is a must-start running back. Let's check how rostered he is and sleeper just to give that contact 62% on sleeper. And, do you think who's the best Seahawks running back rest of season? I'm going to still say Zack Sharminay, but look, we could have, in some capacity, a three-head and monster by the end of the season, whether it's they sign Mixon or Didarian Price is healthy. I hope that's the case because I don't want to see Joe Mixon taking away from what some of these younger players can do and maybe we see who's the running back of the future for Seattle here, but I think it's going to get messy as the season goes on. Zack Sharminay, 82% rostered in CBS league, 65% rostered in sleeper leagues, probably around that in ESPN and Yahoo leagues. Okay. How about other running backs? I'm going to start with that position. Sure. Keaton Mitchell, obviously, is two straight weeks of quality production. I saw at least one report. I don't know how. I didn't see who exactly sent it, but it would make some sense that the chargers are, my gradient, at least, is pushing Keaton Mitchell a little bit more than Maureen Hampton. We saw it more so play out in week four than we did in week three, so Mitchell should be rostered. We have a bad injury situation going on in Philadelphia with both Sequan Barkley and Take Bigsby banged up. It's Will Ship, Lee's the next man up. It's Jacksonville. He's at Best of Flex. But if he does get that starting opportunity, you should have him rostered. Who knows is going on with the Washington back, Phil to Austin Eckler should be rostered, I think, in a lot more leagues than four percent. He should be picked up wherever available because we're shot white and may or may not have had shoulder surgery. I don't think that's actually been confirmed anywhere, but probably legitimate situation to keep an eye on there. Maybe a few weeks that he's going to miss some time. I still would pick up Jalen Wright. I know Olly Gordon had the big game for the Dolphins, but they were splitting plenty of time. Evenly Gordon had the big run. Jalen Wright's 57 percent roster. It's not a bad idea to let waivers go through a couple of times. If you want to just stash Jalen Brown in your bench, he can maybe give you some flex performances as well. Wide receivers is the best wide receiver to get one who's currently not on an NFL roster? I think that's the best long-term play. There's a lot of good short-term options, but the best long-term play is probably just to pick up Tyree Kill and see what happens with him signing. There's a lot of reports following the injuries in Kansas City yesterday that that's the most likely marriage. But Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Tyree Kill, said that they've been in contact with teams. The timeline seems to fall in line with Tyree Kill posting videos of him seemingly looking okay if he does sign in Kansas City that gives him another week to get acclimated or get reaclimated to that organization and show how healthy he is. But they may be without one receiver if not two. We know Tykwan Thornton's going to miss some time. We don't know how long Rashi Rice is going to be out with the hamstring injury, so Tyree Kill long-term. But then you got the two guys in Cincinnati. Myers would be the preferred option after the game that he just had against Jacksonville. Then Mitchell Tinsley, I think in deeper leagues, both guys are only 1 percent rostered. If you don't have Jamar Chase and T Higgins, both are injured in the game against Jacksonville. Clearly Joe Burrow is still going to throw. I know it's the dolphins that can run all over them if they want to, but I'm going to pick up a Bangalos receiver again, Myers, Dante Myers being the one that I look at first. The two guys in Buffalo should be added, Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir. I know I think I agreed, I don't know if I said it, but I think I agreed that Khalil Shakir over Keon Coleman. I'm going to flip that and take Keon Coleman first over Shakir. He looks great right now, and it's two games so far this season where DJ Moore has been banged up and Keon Coleman stepped up. Both guys are worth rostering, but Coleman would be the one I'll go after first. Lad Maconkey's banged up again. Trey Harris would be the guy I'd go get in Los Angeles. No Patrick's or Tans. They are playing the Broncos this week, because Tans is probably going to miss time with the ankle injury. Keep that in mind. The guys, excuse me, in Philadelphia, I guess everybody just get choked up when they talk about the Eagles. The guys in Philadelphia, Don Tevin Wicks, I know they don't have a good game, he's one of the shallow league guys, 74% roster, but Darius Cooper now, two touchdowns, three touchdowns in his last three games, did have a decent target share. You can also take a flyer, I'm a Kyl M and he had six targets, he's nigh for him, so we'll see what happens. It happens as a mess, but something to keep in mind there. Roman Wilson, deeper leagues, 7% rostered, he's now had two good games for Aaron Rogers, seems to be the preferred number two option there. And then I would actually go back to, I know it's going to sound gross. But I would go back to, still take a look at Keenan Allen, he missed the game with the growing injury. Obviously it wasn't a great game across the board for the Colts receivers. If he's healthy, he'll be a factor. Khalif Raymond, I know, was a huge let down, 62% rostered, not a bad guy to stash on your bench, to see what happens when Caleb Williams is back. And I Mitchell's now has two games of the fingering injury, prior to that, he had a 12 target game. He's somebody stashed on your bench, and then don't forget about Malik Washington, just giving you about 10-11 PPR points on a week-to-week basis, so receivers pretty deep this week. Roman Wilson has as many targets as Mike Evans, as many targets as Omega Buka, just below Jalen Waddle and Parker Washington, six targets in all four games that is 24. We'll be right back with quarterbacks, tight ends, DSTs after this. You know, recommendations can be great. Maybe someone recommended this podcast, and here you are, but home projects are different. If a podcast isn't your thing, you lose a few minutes. If you hire your cousin's neighbor to mount your TV, you might end up with a lopsided screen and wall damage. Maybe I know a guy just isn't enough for your home. That's why thumbtack works. It matches you with top-rated local pros, with photos, reviews, and credentials all in one place. For your next home project, try thumbtack. Hire the right pro today. I was quarterback looking for week five with Bryce Mahomes, um, bye. Yeah, two of the best, um, with the way that the season is gone. For me, Jacob Bebersett would be the number one guy to get. Never a great game against a Giants, but now gets the Lions. That's probably going to be the type of game you want Jacob Bebersett for. And almost every quarterback is at success against the Lions so far this season. So presets top 12 quarterback for me this week. Kirk Cousins on an easy matchup going into New England, but he's just been so good through the start of the season. Aaron Rogers, two straight games over 27 fantasy points should have an opportunity to play well this week against the Colts. Just Sean Watson, you know, two good games so far on the season. He gets the jets this week. James Winston takes on the commanders. He's coming off a three touchdown game. So there are some options at quarterback you can look for. And then in the super flex to quarterback, we got to go get Tyler Hauntley just in case Lamar Jack is going to miss some time. And then Tyson Beijing still 7% roster. It sounds like he's going to be the starter for the Bears if Caleb Williams misses week five against the Packers. Finally, tight ends. Well, actually, we have DSTs as well, but tight ends, yeah, tight ends got a couple of interesting names. However, it's going to be Micaseki if both Bengals receivers are out. We've seen this in the past when one guy has missed, plus you get the revenge game narrative and TJ Hawkinson just had a huge gaming as a dolphin. So their secondary is clearly beatable. I'm going to go with Tyler. Hey, be next. We know that everybody's healthy and we saw the receivers were healthy, but we saw the first game without Terrence Ferguson, Colby Parkinson. It was a decent game for, for Hey, be a lot of passes for Matthew Stafford, but that seems to be the norm right now. So I think Hey, we could be not a starter, but a streamer. Hawkinson, if we get news that Jefferson is going to miss the game, would be my second favorite option, but sounds like Jefferson is going to return coming back from that ankle injury. So just lower expectations for Hawkinson coming off huge game against Miami Hunter Henry 62 yards. I don't know if you're going to get like huge top end production from him, but could be in the streaming conversation. And I think Brenton Strange is worth a look, but he did just play the Bengals similar to the Lions. You get the Lions month. You get the Bengals bump. The following week is usually not as good. Okay. And DSTs. I just want to check one other guy. Kenyan Sedeck is 79% rostered and Jacob just gave a good stat on Beyond the Box score, just for those of you who are wondering what to do with Kenyan Sedeck. He had a very high first read target rate. The Jets ran the second, I think Jacob said the second fewest plays in the last like 10 or 15 years something crazy like that They ran 32 plays so it was just a worst-case scenario for the Jets. Maybe give Sadiq another week Yeah, I have him in the in the shallow league guys. Just don't get rid of him All right, DSTs it's a great week for DSTs Cowboys get the bucks. We know that offense is gonna struggle with Jeyland Daniels Jaguars get the Eagles that offense is a mess Lane Johnson may not play again Barkley may not play the Monte Smith-Thals Goddard the bangles get the Dolphins It's funny that the bangles are the third favorite choice for me But the bangles get the Dolphins just I think the other two guys are the other two teams are in such great spots The Browns get the Jets Browns defense point amazing so far and then the Patriots get the the Raiders Another Raiders offense is good, but the Patriots Decent stash option because they stop and play the Jets the Dolphins that's coming up And so you're gonna get two good matchups for them with a very good defense I still think that fantasy managers can trust and The Raiders get the Patriots by the way Raiders have been awesome in three or four games. Yeah, it's not a great I mean on paper it's a great matchup Patriots give up the fourth most points to DSTs But it's you know, I don't think it's going to be one of our favorites, but I think just one of the things to keep We'll talk about is what the Patriots is Seahawks Steelers Who they play week three Seahawks Steelers Jaguars Jaguars and Bill's like three really good defense It's a start to season and then they play a much easier opponent and the offense looks a thousand times better Yeah, but oh man watching that chief's Raiders game. I think that I think the Raiders have a good defense I really I totally agree and you can make an easy comparison obviously the difference would be my home versus May but the Chiefs lost You know pretty big player early in the game and then offense You know kind of struggled and the the Patriots are down another wide receiver on top of AJ Browns. That's a good call Yeah, I mean look it's not like I'm I'm rushing to the way we're already at the Raiders But I think the point I'm not spending a lot on a DST this week because there are good fallback options. So save your fab And that's it for this show. We'll talk about it for an hour tomorrow on fantasy football today. Thanks a lot everybody. Talk to you soon Per-A-Mount Podcasts.
