Feel It or F–k It 5.18.26: An RSP Podcast with Bob Harris and Matt Waldman

- Good morning, Matt Wallman. Good morning, happy listeners. It's I, Bob Harris. Join by the great Matt Wallman. We're here to feel and fuck things. As we have eight teams hitting the field for OTAs. And so there'll be plenty of chatter on the upcoming week and going forward before we head into training camps this summer. So by the way, rookie scouting portfolio, everything's available to you. You should be going out and getting up Matt, tell them to run through the drill. - Run through the drill, let's see. - You're gonna get 1267 pages, quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends, about 167 of them. Some of them ranked way higher than the consensus would even deem. And some of them will actually turn out to be worth the ranking that they got. - Can't bear it. - And contrast, there will be many prospects who will be ranked below the consensus. And you will test me and you may fail. (laughing) But no, seriously, it is derived from its own research. Research that's probably best practices when it comes to how you would evaluate talent. I know that's what I got trained on before I got into this whole football thing. And it's worked out rather nicely for the past 21 years. You can get a post draft along with it that re-ranks the players according to fit and scheme and surrounding talent. And I give you a breakdown of all those things along with ADPs that I saw this spring and show my rankings relative to the ADPs so that you can figure out where's the best place to draft them when you see somebody like, "Oh, Miles Montgomery, who we'll be talking about." And you may go, "This guy isn't even in consideration to be drafted." And then maybe you have to go, "Hmm, maybe I should take him at the end of my drafts and consider him in this respect." And everything Matt said, I can attest to, there will be players that he ranks more highly than the world who will turn out to be exactly what he thought. There's the occasional miss. We all do it if you do enough stuff, things happen. And it's football because it's weird. The ball is shaped funny and all kinds of stuff gonna happen and not every coach it turns out knows how to use every town. All kinds of things come into play here in a very dynamic situation. One thing we know for sure, 'cause the Steelers are telling me right now, number eight is back. Matt, sure that's, everyone's very excited. I'm a little excited because I've been held hostage by Aaron Rogers annually now since what? Last four or five years in Green Bay, I sit around and wait to decide what he's going to do. After doing it for Brent Farm, by the way, before that. So, okay, if I had a nickel, a nickel, or every time I was, my day was ruined by Aaron Rogers for Brent Farm, I would not be doing this right now. - You'd be on the beach or in a mountain. - Like the combination of individuals addicted to attention and a league addicted to attention, boy, that you get caught up in that meat grinder and look out people. Rogers finishes court, that's a little behind the curtain stuff there, you can all say, oh, fuck that, you got to use your job. You're right, it's not that bad. If that's the worst thing that happens, you'll be okay. Aaron Rogers finishes court, back 18 last year, Matt, he's being drafted outside and courted back to territory right now, probably some of that based on uncertainty. Rogers will be a viable fantasy option in 2026 going back with Mike McCarthy. Be a little fucking. - In 2QB leagues, yes. I think he will be. I think that DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman offer the type of receiver that he tends to like. Guys who are in a just well to zone coverage that he can throw open in the middle of the field, guys he can throw open up at the boundary as well. So he's got the common, they're like plus versions of Alan Lazard, either plus plus plus or plus plus versions of Alan Lazard. - So they got, Alan Lazard may show up at some point. He might show up or Randall Cobb might come out a retirement who knows. Donald Driver might even say, yeah, exactly. Antonio Freeman probably not. But yeah, I mean, when you take a look at those considerations, I think Rogers with McCarthy is a decent pet. He's a couple years past that, that three years past that Achilles tear. I think that the Steelers, this is a chance for the Steelers to adjust for the teammates to know each other pretty well. Even though it's a new offense, the teammates tend to know each other pretty well. So I think that he'll be a bottom-end quarterback anyway. - Yeah, he can actually. - He can actually resumption. - Kind of be part of the coaching staff in this case, and probably will enjoy that more than other OTA work, which I don't know if he'll do any OTA stuff. He was there this morning to sign the contract, $25 million. And get ready. He had serviceable moments last year. I think the consistency would be the concern, but better will slightly improve weapons this year. I think the big news is for the pieces you were investing in otherwise though, the mech calf, the Michael Pittman Jr., the running game, we've got two running backs to support there. Again, J. Morgan and Rico Dottaloid. But in the offense being on schedule is good news. Am I right that we don't see as much, as McCarthy is heavy on using the running backs in the passing game? - You know, I'd have to take a look in the-- - I think the numbers are lower. - Yeah, and they might be a little bit lower compared to Naggy. But at the same time, McCarthy is someone that I think still adjusts according to what the talent will tell you. So if I think if Pittman stays healthy and his back isn't like a shambles, then the running back range will be lower. But I think that if Pittman's a problem, they don't have much else on that receiving core. So they're gonna have to use, you know, they're gonna have to use Warren and Dottaloid a little bit more in that respect. And we'll see what they do with tight end. Now that, you know, now that-- - Are the Smiths gone. - Yeah, are the Smiths gone. - The weird usage can cause-- - Maybe Pat Fryer-Muth will actually have value considering that the beat reporters all thought he was gonna be their most valuable player. - Of the offense was what they called him last year. - Yes, that was a big miss on Mayan too. - That was a flat line on that one. - Yeah, that was awful. - There are a couple of glyphs each a few weeks. - Yeah, but-- - The bangles gave it up to him. - The bangles definitely gave it up to him. But maybe, maybe Mike McCarthy might see a little more value. He does seem to do a pretty good job with tight ends. - That makes sense. All right, we'll go to the New York football giants. You mentioned Matt Negi. He'll be calling the offense there. Jackson Tart, being even better as a fantasy quarterback this year, feelin' to fuck the fuck that. (laughs) Fuck that. No, because I, listen, I understand that he made a lot of off-script plays. He did a great job running the football. He was certainly someone that in the short passing game did well, even without, you know, Malik neighbors for him to be able to throw down field too. But he couldn't throw down field even when he had Malik neighbors. He was not good past 25 yards from his pitch point. He wasn't that good in college at it. He wasn't that good in his first year in the pros. And then on top of that, Malik neighbors isn't gonna be really, probably fully himself, spoiler alert, we'll have to eliminate a question right now 'cause he's not probably gonna be truly back until 2027 with that ACL tear and then the cleanup surgery. I mean, he'll be on the field, but he's not gonna be the player that we saw. He'll probably be, I bet he's like, you know, 30% of, you know, 70% of what he was in his first year. - Current average draft position. Malik neighbors is going to be, I think he's been falling, falling a little bit, but he's still like wide receiver eight going with the 19 thing. Not worth it in your book, be able to fuck it. - Put a one in front of that. That's what I would probably say is his upside. Yeah, I would put one in front of that. Go ahead. - And Dart is, as quarterback K, just to carry that theme back over to the quarterback. Core back eight going into sixth round, right after Caleb Williams, Jaylin Hertz right ahead of Dac Press got, my guy Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert. It's a feeling to fuck it on that ADP. I'm guessing it's a fuck it. - Yeah, a fuck it big time. That's crazy. I mean, because what we didn't even get to is he lost Wandaile Robinson to boot. He's now in his third offense in the past three years if you count college. So now he's had to, So basically. having to learn his third offense in the past three years. That's yeah. That's a lot when two of them have been in the NFL. Meanwhile, NFL teams, they've got a book on what he doesn't do. Well, he was the worst against pressure last year. They know what to do. They know how to confuse him. They're going to implement more of that now that they've had a full off season to study him. And he has, you know, he has a 70% Malik neighbors and a rookie in Malachi fields. And then the same holdovers that they had that they didn't lose. And a new offense to me, that's a recipe for you can, you can probably multiply at least 1.5 to his QB 8 ADP. And that's probably where he's going to be. I just, I just don't think that he's going to be, he's definitely not going to be even better. Well, I, you know, you know, another team is having a book, part of that book is he's a reckless abandoned kind of player and probably people be looking to lay the wood to him. And that would be a good approach. I'm guessing maybe they can dial him in. Matt Nege, how big a concern is the change of play calls? It's a huge concern considering that I don't think Matt Nege has been all that successful since his first turn with the chiefs. Wasn't he with the bears previously during the Justin Fields era and some of the problems that he had there. I just don't, I'm not all that impressed with with Matt Nege is a play caller and as a designer of offenses. I was impressed with some of the talent that he had that inherent that he earned the praise that he got that got him the first opportunity to be in a bigger spotlight. But nothing he's done that is to me has been super impressive and it's going to take Jackson Dart. I mean, I don't think he's awful, but I don't think he's going to take the, you know, he's not taking Justin Fields or Jackson Dart and turning them into career year players. I just don't think that the perception is is that Kansas City's offense was tailing downward. And that's probably why Matt Nege is no longer there and there will be enemies back. Malachi Fields, we mentioned him. Is he a bad fit for New York feeler? Fuck it. Oh, fuck that. He's a good fit for what New York does. He can work the middle of the field. He can win contestive catches. He can win after the catch and they need a receiver who can do all three things right now because they lost one Dale and what we talked about with Malik neighbors. So he's going to get an opportunity to give you 800 and 900 yards this year. If everything works out pretty good, he might even have more upside than that. It just depends on whether or not Jackson Dart can prove me wrong, you know, or, you know, he can prove naysayers wrong and and and make another step. Yeah, me. If it's just me, then it's just me. But, you know, but yeah, I think Fields, Fields is a good fit for New York in theory and in practice as long as they have a quarterback who can support it. I thought as well. And by the way, for me on dark like I generally have been willing to aggressively pursue second year quarterbacks coming off strong rookie seasons. I did it with Boenix last year. It ended up working out. Okay, I don't feel the same compulsion with Jackson Dart this year. For many of the reasons Matt laid out, including the change of play collar and of my concerns about him taking care of his own self as he runs with the football. So we'll see how that goes to Sean Watson. Now there's somebody I'm not concerned about. The Sean Watson will be the starter and Cleveland fielder. Fuck I want to say feel it. Hold on to your ass. The drum beat is it has turned into almost a thunderous roar at this point. Literally, they got a drum core out there at this point with him, you know, and he's the drum major leading the way. You know, but yeah, I think I think he'll be the starter. The fact that Deon's already in the media talking about how he wants to talk to Todd Monkin as a coach, not a dad, which is a nice track for a dad who happens to be a coach to take in the media if anybody believes that nobody does. You know, as I predicted, within, you know, the biggest disaster for Shadour Sanders emotionally will probably be if Deon talks his way into becoming the head coach of the Cleveland Browns within the first few years of Deon getting drafted. I mean, Shadour getting drafted. And I think we're on our way towards that lobbying if Todd Monkin doesn't, doesn't establish himself very firmly in year one and they don't have a good year. And Watson seems to be healthier, full year away from the ACL. He's probably learned how to get back into some level of denial about what he did that wasn't proven in court. You know, and so therefore he did or didn't do anything. But all the controversy surrounding him, I'm sure he's probably figured out some way to train himself so that he can get used to the booing that will probably cynically turn into cheers if they start winning football games. You know, so he certainly has an offense that is, you know, Todd Monkin wants to do certain things with him that he did well in Houston. And you could see that coming with the way they got Concepcion who is Casey Concepcion who is going to be that nice extension of the run game that they can feed, but they can also give him, excuse me, some of what Will Fuller was able to do in his past. And then Don's El Boston or or whether it's Tillman or Judy, they can fill in there too and and be able to provide them at least some ranging of a of a passing game that they offers different things. And I think I mean, I don't see Watson becoming a QB1 this year, but I think that Watson might be competing with Aaron Rogers for a for a low end QB2 value. Yeah, I think you can go clearly his days as a top five fantasy asset are behind him, but I don't think those ever existed for should or standards. So, you know, the fact that we've at least seen the high end from Watson is encouraging the switch that flipped for me was when Jimmy Haslum who a year ago was saying he was a swing and a miss or the biggest swing and a miss is now saying he looks like the best option was talking up how good he was throwing the football at the end of last year working just on the side. He hasn't been with the team this off season, but we're still getting glowing reports from his his own offseason workouts in Florida. Jerry Judy was in attendance there, but also the latest comment is that you know, he's seems to be you know, be a be in lockstep with Todd Munkin. So, he's got a new offensive coach. So, they've set the table. Mary Mary K. Cabin has been reporting that he's the favorite. I think she's not reporting that based on her own guesswork that people are telling her this. That seems perfectly reasonable as well. So, I think the I think this is getting baked into the cake in advance and he will be I have a theory, Bob. Go. You know, maybe, maybe you know, when Jimmy was seen in the stands during Sam Darnel's workouts early on in his 10 year, maybe, maybe they should have listened to Jimmy all along. Maybe Jimmy, maybe Jimmy's not the problem after all. Maybe if they had taken Sam Darnel in the first place, maybe none of this would have happened and they would have been the Super Bowl winning team. I don't know. I bet, yeah, right. Me too. I believe that I'm with you. But it's not as funny. You mentioned Denzel Boston. His stride style is could it be a long term concern field or fucking? I've seen some stride coach, some movement coaches who seem to have a pretty good handle on what they do. Talk about how Denzel Boston's feet, the way that they start at the line of scrimmage, the way he's kind of split outward, puts a lot of stress on the knee and the ankle and the leg in general and that the movement is not efficient and is more conducive to injury. And they showed other players who often had these types issues saying that they were, they had really inefficient unhealthy movement styles. One of them, you know, one of them as an example is there are two examples that they brought up and their both players have been hurt a lot often on throughout their careers and they were running back. So Kenneth Walker and Christian McCaffrey now when they're healthy, they look great. They played, they played very well. They've had healthy enough seasons to play to, to be established players who, who get high value. But you know that the injuries have been a factor throughout their careers. And so this guy was talking about Denzel's strides dial and it could give kind of being an issue with staying healthy. So that's something that I'm going to be watching a little bit more especially with guys like Walker, McCaffrey, Ashden, Gen T apparently has some of those issues stride wise and how he sets his feet. So I'm going to be, you know, wears and contrast concepts he apparently has excellent footwork and how he uses his feet and how he strides. So I'm going to be kind of paying more attention to some of these guys and seeing if there's something to this and talking to some other people. But that's something that's just notable to kind of watch for even whether you believe it or not. Tampa Bay, Sean Tucker remains the running back three who want to draft to be end of fantasy drafts. Feel it or fuck that. I'm going to say feel it mainly because I don't have trust that that what's his name. Lucky Irving coming off. Yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, sure. Yeah, sure. Yeah, 195. and he's coming off the injury. We had not working out the case. They added Kenneth Gainwell, who's had a good season. Maybe he duplicates the role Rashad White's played as a receiver after his 73 catch season with his dealers last year. But what is Tucker? What kind of role could we envision for him with those two guys both healthy? Do you think this is going to be dependent on somebody getting hurt? Yeah, well, yeah. And Bucky's not all that small. It's just that his size may not be conducive. He may personally may not be. I don't know, man. Draftroes. Draftroes would like me to think that 190 anything below 200 pounds is not big enough. I know. That's what they have to say. I'm sure they're really going after James Cook for the past few years as a reason. You were a draft pro. You know, was I? I don't know if I'm a part of that group. Fuck that. Yeah. But, uh, but, uh, but yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do. But yeah, I think Sean Tucker definitely is someone you want to consider at the end of drafts. Just you can, you can get rid of him early on if you want to as a disposable piece. If everything's going swimmingly, but you definitely want to be having him high on your waiver wire list to take advantage. I just think that for me, guys, you draft between 15 and 20 in most leagues, other than kickers, are guys that you're probably rotating on and off your roster. And who better would you want to have rotating on your roster than a guy who can give you instant starter skill if an injury takes place. And they see Kenneth Gainwell and Bucky Irving as the same style of player. That's what the coach said. Skip Pete. So that means Tucker offers a little something different and might be might get that into the mix soon if one gets hurt. Skip Pete Ma an old high school nemesis the quarterback of the Sewardo Cooper is the rival of the Sabino Sabre cats. Of course, everyone knows that. I'll say Sean Tucker. What position did you play Bob? I played every position. I was I was alignment. I was a lowly lineman. So what's a lowly about that? Were you a guard? Were you a center? Yeah, I was a guard and a defensive and a nose guard and defensive. So, but mostly you know, offensive guard was where I played. Yeah, you were the richie and cognito of the of that group. I bet when I went to college, I wasn't picking up to do that. So they turned me into a baby fullback. I could see that with you too. Yeah, that works. That you, you're still you still got that mentality. A little bit. So I'll just add to this list a little bit, right? And by the way, draft Rose relax. I'm just kidding, man. We all know there's an exception to every rule and and some guys that aren't that big or not that big. And some guys are bigger. It doesn't matter. Some other guys though that running back three is that I think might have good chances. I'll be watching Nicholas Singleton in Tennessee. Maybe put some late round flyers on him. And then I'll be watching Nicholas Singleton in Washington for the same reason just the contingent upside or if he's surprisingly good. Another one that we heard about this week was Miles Montgomery got a big. They pretty big bonuses and under after free agent. Is he running back three to consider there's a lot of competition there with Patriots. Oh, fuck yes, because there's already some beat writer expectation that he may be the beat RB three over to rail Jennings. He's basically one injury away from playing time as a potential at least, you know, what we say basically an off the bench contributor, but more likely based on his skill sets. He's I thought he was the best blocker in this class past protector in this class. And I mean, I had him as a top five running back in grade pre-draft, which tells you I'm very high on this kid. And the Patriots apparently said there was a lot of demand for his services. And they did they they he had the most lucrative contract of all the UDF a sign. So that's how you right there like John Tucker did two years ago. Yes. And Montgomery said that he chose the Patriots because he liked how they coached and he liked how they let people compete. Right. So to me, this is this is someone that you want to be keeping an eye on this summer. If you're in a if you're in a dynasty league, he's an end of the draft option. Right. Apparently he's confident this coaching staff will remain intact. Good for you. Yeah, see there you go. That's true. But you know, but it probably will even after the good morning America firestorm. That's probably about to come or what other what other stuff. I think that there's a certain I think there is a certain celebrity player former player who's probably quaking in his boots a little bit now about all the endorsements that he does. And whether there's going to be any talk about him being mentioned anywhere, but we'll find out. All right, Trevon Henderson will take over for Monterey Stevenson as the running back one in New England by years and feel it or fucking fuck it. Of course, I'm going to say that I'm a party line. Remondre Stevenson. 102 pounds is trevon Henderson. That's his problem. Yeah. Well, that that and he only runs gap, you know, really well. That's really his best thing. So I think he's going to have to get better. Whereas Remondre Stevenson's going to have to really come to fall off a cliff as a player. I know that Henderson speed is so salivating and he is certainly probably in in contention for the football die hard play made of the year in terms of speed. Certainly on that on that list, but he's got to complete his game a little bit more. And I think that, you know, what Stevenson offers is a past protector and a receiver is way, especially as a route runner is way to appealing. And he's just a better, you know, Stevenson is just better inside the five in terms of his power and short yardage. Henderson had the three monster games last year. You had more than 28 points and all three, including a 32 pointer, but he only averaged about eight points per game and the other 14 games. Two of those huge games came with Remondre Stevenson sideline. So, you know, like obviously you have some contingent upside. There's something happens to Stevenson. And there's lots of touchdowns otherwise. So he's still a playable asset. But I'm kind of with you. It seems like they they picked their lane. And you're drafting them the opposite. Like people are drafting them like last year. Well, not quite like last year. Stevenson was going as running back 43 Henderson is a running back 18ish. Now it's like running back 19 for Henderson. I think we're up to what 30 something. Let me double check this 29 running back 29 for Stevenson. So sanity hasn't prevailed yet. They should not prevail yet, but it's getting closer. Yep. I can see that. Okay. All right. A little more medication. They should be all right. I'm not going to deliver JSN caliber production to Tampa this year. Feel it or fuck it. I'm going to say fuck it. Just because it's way too high to say that. JSN is a JSN is a better route runner than Amika. I'm JSN is a better pass catcher than Amika. I'm not sad. Amika. I could give you low and running wide receiver one production in that offense. And he's a good football player and promising. But I don't think that he has the level of refinement in the areas that he needs to that JSN had to reach that elite upside. You have to you really have to hold onto the ball well and to be a top tier route runner to reach the the rare fight air that JSN did last year. Look man. Look listen. Yeah. I hate it when you reign on these parades of these kids. They're hard working young man. By the way, we've tasted this with the book. Right. He finished a month of September with 18 catches 280 yards and four touchdowns in weeks one through four. He was one of four wide receivers and the only working with 70 plus 75 plus yards from scrimmage and three or more games. That was Justin Jefferson, book and a cool. Oh, and Jackson Smith and J. Let all of you during that span and ranked second only to our mon Ross ain't proud and pass or anyone targeted among players with 20. Why more targets. He was a wide receiver for overall during that span. So we have seen the high end. He could not sustain it. And part of that is going to be on Baker Mayfield. We got a new offensive coordinator. I'm just saying we tasted it Matt. That's all. You know what we tasted it with chase Claypool back in 2020. Remember Chase Claypool. Remember how high it was. Never. One. Oh, after six weeks, he had four touchdowns. He had, you know, and he was like a top five player and then the bottom dropped out. Now, I don't think the bottom's dropping out of a book. I think he's a very good player. I just think there's a difference between very good and great for fantasy production. And that margin becomes very narrow and he's not going to fit through that little pinhole to get to the fantasy heaven that that people want him to, you know, that's what the, that's what the Jesus said, you know, in this in the scripture, which was that, you know, what is it that you know about passing through the gates of heaven. I think that, you know, you could say a lead production is kind of like that. Fair point. I'm quite sure. I actually, Jettie, you mentioned his dried. Now that Chip Kelly fixed his stance too. Well, he'd be better in 2026. Well, as long as the, as long as the movement grows aren't right, then I think he will be better in 2026 because that offensive line couldn't be much worse. I was, you know, I was contributing something for the football guys magazine that one Mr. Bob Harris edits and I was doing that this morning and just mentioning the fact that that Genos, if you look at Genos Smith last year in that horrible offense and they go and you think about him going to the Jets and people are like, well how's that an upgrade? Remember that Genos Smith, two of his first three years as a starter, came in Seattle and two of those years he had quarterback one value in fantasy and the Seattle has never heard of the idea until last year that you should draft an offensive lineman in the first round. They were like searching big lots and Kmart is Kmart even around. No, the farms looking on the tractors and the ink and guys off. Yeah, I was a big kid. Exactly. And so last year was the first year they actually focused on offensive line in the first round. Whereas, and so if you think of that lackluster production in Seattle, think about how far downward the raiders had to be where there was at least multiple errors on seemingly every play and that extended to the run game extended the passing game. They're going to have better quarter they're going to have decent quarterback play this year if the offensive line can get better and I'm sure that offensive line is going to be a massive priority. He's going to be running out of more 12 and 13 personnel sets. That's more gaps for Jim T to set up. And he was he had a he was a very ladenian Tomlinson like rookie year type of player. If you look at what ladenian did, average in what 3.9 yards per carry and not even having like, you know, he had a lot of games with less than 40 yards, I believe in that. And he didn't have many breakaway plays either. And you know, they're talking about Ashton Gentile, like he was awful. Well, he was not much different than the day Nian Tomlinson look out. Tomlinson's career banned out. I think Gentile has a chance to to at least be on the level of the top five backs that we've seen over the past five years as he develops. And I think this will be a year where we takes another step forward. And yes, Gentile bros. I know he went back to the Michael Myers dance and he'll be perfectly fine. Yeah. James Blue and Phil Moppa. Well, they'd be perfectly fine. Are they dynasty stashes? Feel it or fuck it. I'm going to say fuck it because if they're already talking Malik Davis is running back to now I don't know Nick Harris's reputation at the Dallas star or Fort Worth or wherever he is, wherever he is, what newspaper he's at. But he's reporting that Malik Davis will be likely be the running back to that may be motivation for blue and Moppa to get their acts together. But Malik Davis to me was always the was the second banana to Rico Dottle for years. I don't know how much better he's really gotten. And it just says to me that blue and Moppa aren't ready or aren't performing to the level of expectation that they need to be at. So I think they're waiting to see guys that you can ditch this year, get out from wonder quickly. And if you must wait on blue because you just seem too talented and too speedy and you know all of that, at least wait till August and then you can make your move there once they start talking about the coach being in Jay blues here, you know, and that he's not doing enough. All right, Breeze Hall headed for a career year in 2026 feel it or fuck it. I'm feeling it for all the things I explained about Geno Smith. This might be the, you know, he's got a bet. He might have the best offensive line that he's played with at least on paper. The jets aren't an awful aren't an awful offensive line. They're not a great one. But they're probably middle of the road on paper and young and could emerge and get a little bit more, you know, cohesion. So that could be good for him. Certainly there's weapons for you. Geno Smith to work with and develop. But I think the running game is still going to be the main deal. You're still probably going to see more 12 personnel. And Breeze, you know, the fact that, you know, Geno Smith is a much better signal call or, you know, much better diagnostician than Justin Fields or Zach Wilson was. And we don't count Aaron Rogers because he was still, he was quote unquote healthy. You can put quotes around as healthy during the eighth, the Achilles return. I would say that Smith offers a little bit more that defenses have to honor. And that translates to probably, you know, bigger plays better matchups for Hall. And if you could imagine Hall getting maybe more 20 to 30 yards, you know, more games with an extra 20 to 30 yards to his game running and or receiving next year than what he was getting last year. You're probably looking at top 10 territory for Breeze Hall. And I know he was RB two a couple years ago, but I was looking at that this morning. If you look at the year running backs at his top two year, the following year would have been RB seven. So you know, it wasn't a good year for it as a top two running back. I got like 288 points. And that would have, you know, that was a low total for a running back to most seasons. I think great work, Rick Johnson has done an assembling the roster around him is going to serve all of it quite well. You can't even say what a straight face, but it was it was clever. That's for sure. Feel the clever, the clever response there from Bob Harris draft row Bob Harris thinks Jacobi Lane is a great fit and Baltimore. The Ravens seem to think he's great fit as well. What is Matt Walman think, bro? Jacobi Lane, a great fit and Baltimore feel it or fuck it. Fuck that. I think that's okay. That's hilarious. Okay. Just because Jacobi Lane is very good at catching the ball. He's good on outside routes. Guess who doesn't really throw the ball on to the boundary for guys to go up and get Lamar Jackson. Guess where Lamar Jackson excels in the middle of the field. Guess where the Jacobi Lane is an absolute fuck up middle of the field. I'm like literally doesn't break doesn't break back to the ball doesn't continue his breaks inside has has had repeated issues on tape where he doesn't finish routes or doesn't know where to be in the middle of the field and it's created a lot of consternation in the passing game. And that's a great fit and Baltimore. I mean, maybe they're changing the offense some maybe Jacobi Lane. Maybe there was something going on with him that we don't know about and he's going to flip the switch and suddenly become Brandon Marshall on the inside or Torelloans. But I don't think he's his his frame isn't even modeled for that game. So yeah, I'm not I'm not there at all with with Jacobi Lane being a great fit unless you say great fit for being you know in that that golf club in the bag that you need to have to have a complete bag, but you'd never use that club. So here's why draft robot Harris thinks he's a great fit. It's because Eric the cost of things he's a great fit on our board. We do months of work. Sometimes our evaluation is differ from public consensus. You can understand that Mount Wallman Lane is a big receiver six four. He ran a 4 4 6 like at that size. Excellent contested catches with great hands. I don't know they did double down at the position. So we'll see he didn't put a ton of investment into either him or Elijah Sirat. Zayf Flowers is the clear cut number one. But after that there seem to be opportunities open. I don't know. I don't know that they've given up on reshawd Bateman. But I don't know that reshawd Bateman is ever going to return that first round value to them. So maybe he'll never will because he's he's on a team that runs routes in the middle of the field and doesn't allow him go up and win contested catches on the outside, which is one of the things that he did extraordinarily well at Minnesota. But they don't do in Baltimore and Eric the cost of sounds like one of those guys that almost got into a fight with you know one of those executives that nearly got into a fight with the Rams counting staff when they wanted to make Alex Smith the number one pick overall in St. Louis back in the day and have them rewatch a hit clip tape of 20 highlights. So Eric the cost may have spent months on the on the John looking through fantasy magazines. You know, doing his research. Here's colleague would go a little would tighten that up a little bit and say Eric the cost is a beta cook. But look, Eric the cost is probably an excellent. Is an excellent executive in the things that he's done in Baltimore. And it has and I'm a big Baltimore Ravens fan. They're my favorite team to watch. I watch them pretty much every week. So I don't have that much of an issue with the cost. But I think the cost of this year wanting to like add his his little his opinions to the mix and that they spend months doing this stuff. Well, look, I've seen some scouting reports from NFL teams. If it took months to write three paragraphs, you know, and at the level that they have, that's some sorry ass shit. And I've seen been seeing that kind of stuff since 2011. So maybe they do more and I hope they do and they've made some excellent picks in the past. >> Draftbro Bob Harris over one. And that's something that is coveted by Koshan. I know we keep talking about the John Stribbling speed, speed, size and blocking ability. And certainly that can come into the mix, especially if, oh, I don't know, George Kiddell isn't quite ready yet for prime time when he returns from his Achilles injury. You know, and they want to use more 11 personnel and let's Stribbling block and play the tight end role. That's great. Bar, you getting fantasy points for pancakes. I don't think you are. So if you are, congratulations to your league. I want to be in that. And I want to know who the fuck's tracking all those stats. But I think that Christian Kirk is a formidable challenge for Stribbling if healthy enough. And that, especially as a route runner with his hands, what he can do after the catch, different style player, but a very reliable one. So I'm going to say fuck that. So I think what you're saying is, Stribbling is going to beat out Ricky Pearce all in the number two spot hell now. Oh, all right. So draft robot. That are that are draft robot Harris is going to be is going to be three for three because I think if we go if or maybe actually, I don't know, are we four for four? We got Mason Taylor. We've got Jaden Daniels, you know, so that those two were pretty good though, though, you know, people might be arguing both by next year. But we'll see. I kind of like both of those things. I want to say, you know, the future of draft robot is tenuous at best. There's a reason I don't do the draft and I just demonstrate. I think we'll do it. I think we'll do a second interview. I don't know. I would listen to Matt Waldman. I would read the RSP carefully. I would trust his judgments on the rookies over mine. Although, yeah, no, no caveats. I would trust his.
