Fantasy Sleepers for 2026 With Hayden Winks and Josh Norris, Part 1

This episode of The Ringer Fantasy Football Show features guest analysts Josh Norris and Hayden Winks from Yahoo Fantasy Football, filling in for Craig who is on vacation in Hawaii. The main segment focuses on players the hosts are most passionate about for the upcoming fantasy season, with each analyst presenting their cases for specific undervalued or high-potential players. Hayden Winks opens with a defense of Kyle Pitts, arguing that tight ends typically peak later in their careers and that Pitts showed flashes of his elite potential late last season. He points to the Kevin Stefanski coaching tree's history of featuring tight ends heavily. Josh Norris follows with Jaylen Waddle, highlighting his strong underlying metrics from last season despite poor quarterback play, and his fit in Sean Payton's offensive system in Denver. DK discusses Ricky Pearsall's potential in San Francisco, noting his route-running skills and the opportunity created by George Kittle's injury. Josh Norris also makes a compelling case for Saquon Barkley as a bounce-back candidate, arguing that the Eagles' offensive line struggles were the primary cause of his down season rather than any physical decline. Danny Heifetz rounds out the discussion with A.J. Brown, who was traded to the Patriots, comparing his situation to George Pickens' breakout last year and citing Drake May's superior passing ability compared to Jalen Hurts. The episode concludes with listener emails covering embarrassing classroom stories involving the song "No Hands," celebrity names that perfectly match their professions like Usain Bolt, and a Canadian listener's detailed complaint about the hosts' misuse of hockey terminology. The show ends with a discussion of the rapper Chamillionaire as part of their ongoing Millennial Bangers segment.

Speaker 5Hey everyone, we had Josh Norris and Hayden Winx on from Yahoo Fantasy Football today. Craig is on vacation in Hawaii. We went so long talking about our favorite players for 2026 that we were splitting it into two episodes. So we're going to have part one today, and we're going to have part two with Josh and Hayden next week, and then Craig will be back from Hawaii. And we're calling it DK Favorite Players, Sleepers You Hated, that I call the sleepers.
Speaker 2Sleepers and good values is kind of what I look at it like.
Speaker 5Yeah, well, you were mad at me, but it's fine. So anyway, we'll get to this. This is... This is a really fun episode. So, okay, let's get to it. ♪ music playing ♪ Welcome to the Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz, and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Josh Norris and Hayden Winx of Yahoo, baby. Woo! Craig is on vacation in Hawaii, and so we brought out the big guns, and I'm not just talking about Hayden Winx. He's secretly yoked. Josh, it's kind of true that Hayden's yoked, right?
Speaker 6I mean, I'm not going to, you know, peel back the curtain on Hayden's life here, but I think he moved about a year ago and got like a home gym in his big garage and spent a couple grand on free weights and kettlebells and everything, so he better be yoked. I don't use it enough. You have to use it. I look at it.
Speaker 7It's nice to look at.
Speaker 5Dad's strength. I want to do dad corner at the end here. So we're going to go over our favorite players for this season. And I want to do that with you guys for two reasons. One, because not to just like make it all awkward and say nice things to your guys' faces, but I think very few people do the combination of stats and understanding how modeling and projections work, but also actually understanding how it interweaves with football and understanding the news as well as you two do. And we've been like long overdue to do this show. Also, Craig was on vacation, so it was super convenient. But on top of all that, you guys, who have been an underdog for a long time, were traded to Yahoo. And I would like you to plug your show, but also explain what the hell it means to be traded when you're not actually a football player.
Speaker 6Well, yeah, just like every other professional athlete, Hayden and I now understand what it's like to be traded. Yeah, I don't know how many details we can share here, Hayden, but we were like pulled into the CEO's Zoom link and told us, hey, you have two options. One of them is to be traded. And we're like, yes, let's take that one. Can't wait. It's going to be awesome. And our show relaunches on July 27th. We're going to go four times a week until the season starts. So lots to catch up on over the last two weeks. And guys, this is an awesome time to be on the show with you. No, it's fun.
Speaker 5So their YouTube channel, the handle's at Josh and Hayden, and it's Yahoo Fantasy Football. And again, so July 27th, first episodes with Matt Harmon. Yep. Even more yoked than Hayden is. Matt's certified yoked. Also does yoga, which I hate him. Anyway, so we're going to go to our favorite players. And also, while we're shamelessly plugging things, DK, we have the live show on Los Angeles. Los Angeles, Thursday, August 27th. And tickets are still there. So if you're in Los Angeles, check that out. Thursday, August 27th. The tickets are in the episode description. Without further ado, you guys sent me your list you wanted to talk about. We talked about favorite players.
Speaker 2We probably heard clarity here, though, because I didn't. These are not my favorite players.
Speaker 5You didn't read the text. I sent them.
Speaker 2Well, you said sleepers are good value. I wrote sleepers. We guys little peek behind the curtain. We've never actually agreed on what the actual. I don't know. I still don't know what it is. I still don't know what it is.
Speaker 5It's because you say. I asked for sleepers, and then it's like a band. It's like you start being like, well, what's real rock? It's like, what's a real sleeper? Is like a ninth rounder a sleeper? And I'm like, I was like, bring me the players you are most passionate about having on your actual teams for this season. And if it's a second round or 14th rounder, I don't care as much as like, give me the player who you actually feel strongest about will overperform based on where they're going. And I think Josh and Hayden read the text. And DK just at this point just ignores everything I say.
Speaker 2We think we'll have sleepers in the title, but truthfully, just bring three to four guys you love this season for redraft. I don't see any word favorite in here, but that's fine. We can continue.
Speaker 5Wow. All right. Well, you don't want to go fuck myself.
Speaker 2I just want to be clear. These aren't my favorite players. That would be a Devon H.
Speaker 5All right. So we'll come back for that episode to high fits. How about that? All right. Well, let's just keep Craig on vacation. Why don't you just come back in a week with that? Perfect. We'll do it. Okay. So we're doing this fine players that you are most passionate about. We'll overvalue whatever they'll do. Let me get right a title for once. We'll see what it's called. Anyway. You guys sent me this list of players that we don't know what it is and don't know what to call it, which is a great hook. But I want to go through these in a specific order. And there's only one place we could start. Hayden. You put Kyle Pitts for the Falcons. Literally the most discussed player in the history of this podcast. Yep. You're a really smart guy. I really respect your opinion. Tell me why Kyle Pitts is not a rake that you're stepping on. Well, I can't even.
Speaker 7I promise that's not going to be the case here. I'm just saying the pathway to him really balling out. I saw it last year. I mean, for like the last half of the season, I watched him go absolutely crazy. Yes, that was with without Drake London. But you also realize he's still just 25 years old. And you go look at like the best fantasy seasons at tight ends ever. They're never like at 23 years old. It's 25. Kelsey and Kittle and these guys are doing till 33. Tony Gonzalez. I mean, that was. I was like 35 years old. Antonio Gates was doing it like so much of this position is like, do you have your head on straight? And I think that Kyle Pitts now has the experience doing this. You bring in Kevin Stefanski. All he's done for his entire career, the entire tree, not even just Stefanski, is pepper tight ends. They've had two of them the last couple seasons on the frickin Browns. There's not a wide receiver to on the team. Drake London or Bijan could get hurt. We can see Kyle Pitts go crazy. And because he's burned so many fantasy drafters, nobody wants to draft him like the last three drafts. Afters aren't going to that had Kyle Pitts. They're not going to draft him this year. So he kind of falls and falls and falls. He's after 100th overall. And we have to remember, like he was the alien generational prospect and he just flashed it. And we might look back in his career and be like, yeah, that knee injury like held him back for multiple years. And then he turned out to be a perennial pro bowler. So I think you're just buying the dip on him. Seems really smart this year.
Speaker 2I think the Hayden, you watch a ton of tape. I do think he looked different. At the end of the season, like truly like he did in college, there was the explosion was back the the way that he could evade tacklers and things like we didn't really see that for a couple of years. He was just kind of like a catch and fall down guy. It felt like when he had the opportunity and late last season, he was, you know, reverse stiff arming guys and running after the catch and doing these big explosive plays that you're expecting from a guy who was, you know, top five in the draft. So I like this. Obviously, he is one of those players that you hate. I hate seeing on your team kind of because he's let you down so many times, but it's nice to tell other people to take Kyle Pitts, right? I do think like dynasty wise, I'm super excited about all the shares I have hopefully finally paying off. But yeah, in redraft, I think he could be a really great value. What do you guys make of this quarterback situation? Josh, do you think it's going to be Penix? Do you think it's going to be to do who's better for for the skill players?
Speaker 6Well, I don't know if any of them are better for the skill players, but I think this is clearly going to be to as as the quarterback. Yeah. I mean, when Kevin Stefanski last year gets, what, 80% Tua and Dylan Gabriel, then he's kind of just found his guy, albeit, you know, now a two left handers here on the roster. Kyle Pitts is a fascinating player because we all point to, you know, his report card during his rookie season, clearing a thousand yards. But if you actually like had him on your roster during that rookie season, he really didn't do anything for you. I mean, he was tied in, what, 14 in points per game. That season. And it's because just the total lack of touchdowns now that has changed is now from, you know, Arthur Smith and everything in between that that has happened. But it's not an offense that I have like a ton of investment or happiness other than Bijan Robinson and Drake London that in confidence that they're going to be, you know, even average in scoring. But if I can get in Hayden side at all, it is from the Kevin Stefanski tree where they really do make primary pass. But if I can get in Hayden side at all, it is from the Kevin Stefanski tree where they really do make primary pass. And so often when a tight end does break out or have a season that actually matters for you, they have to be the second best pass catcher on their team. And you look at this roster and if Kyle Pitts isn't the second best pass catcher on this team, then there are real, real structural problems here for the Atlanta Falcons.
Speaker 5And to that point, the Falcons gave him a contract extension. And it's funny because when the Falcons, when I say the Falcons, I wanted him Kyle Pitts more when it's a contract year than a contract extension. But the person who really gave Kyle Pitts the contract extension is Matt. Ryan. who was his quarterback the rookie year that is crazy oh what i didn't think about that that is wild like that i mean i i feel like i'm i'm not hallucinating right like that way he was yeah he was the quarterback oh tell me i'm not yeah 2021 like that's how long kyle pitts has been in the league that does actually mean something to me because he was around him for practice habits i think kyle pitts i think in the middle beginning of his career first of all he's six months older than akeem messidor who was the first round pick for the chargers this year so the point that sticks with me with all this is two things hayden's point that all tight ends usually have their best seasons afterward because you have to learn to catch and block at an nfl level but also because of the physical development and on top of it again and we can look at yahoo's rankings today since you guys got traded to yahoo i feel like kyle pitts is going at his floor which is oh like what the 85th overall pick i'm like okay well if you look at the second half of the season the top two tight ends trey mcbride were what colston loveland kyle pitts colston loveland's a top 40 player and kyle pitts is not a top 80 player so that's the part of hayden's pitch that makes me actually want to step on the rank which is the only thing worse than being having kyle pitts again might be oh yeah 25 year old player who has had to play with desmond ritter and washed matt ryan kirk cousins off an achilles injury michael pennexton his rookie season into a year where he was hurting his uh his acl again uh taylor heineke more i even mentioned marcus mariotto who quit on the team later that season like it's a pretty terry mclaurin the early deandre hopkins-esque run of quarterbacks for kyle pitts uh and then there's plenty of tight ends that didn't perform until this age so i i kind of want to step on the rake i think i like this one hayden that's that needs a lot just to close
Speaker 6the loop on drafting him as his floor again we focus a lot on coaching changes and how much that impacts these fancy players trey mcbride last year attached to drew petzing coming from the kevin sofanski tree we know tied in one in points per game harold fannin tied in eight in points per game this past season yeah i'm like that is where you're drafting cow pits here now do i think that cow pits and harold fannin and hayden speak to this a little bit more like have opposing skill sets in a way i think so like cow pits is probably at his best in the intermediate downfield portion and harold fannin is probably a bit better at breaking tackles and you know making that first man miss and all that type of stuff but at the same time again this just goes down to the foundational elements of this styling of an offense and of this tree that they really really do care about tight end production yeah i mean i think that he can be one
Speaker 7of the best vertical tight ends like that we've seen in a very long time and like the last year's tape he was actually breaking tackles and he was able to turn i mean how many how many years in a row he could not turn left he's not a derrick zoolander he can turn left now can we talk real
Speaker 2quick about the falcons uh receiver core i haven't looked at this in a hot minute drake london is the number one clear cut and they signed johan dotson and olamide zakias in free agency drafted zechariah branch after that i am not sure i've heard of any of these guys tell me if you guys have heard of any of these guys vinnie anthony the second nope dylan drummond that sounds like someone you're going to recruit college lameek brockington these are not real brockington i look at the producers of your show yes marion chris blair antoine wells jr i haven't heard of a single one of those guys
Speaker 5that's crazy that's crazy wow anyway that all right i okay so pits you know what i that is a good so just wait just vote here for a second if you're actually going to do if you had one team this year i i would take pits in the seventh round would you guys do that yes up thumbs up or thumbs
Speaker 7down josh down josh down you don't have to do it that early just wait wait even longer okay there
Speaker 6we go you know what i was just real quick i think my opposing answer would be i'm in more of the camp of sam laporta and he's going right around the same range as cow pits is at this moment just because he is the one now in a better offense still attach this coaching tree in drew petzing so i'm more of sam laporta than cow pits okay in 2026. a good side step of the yes or no
Speaker 5but i think that's a good note that's no that's what he does that's the josh norris so we'll put josh on the spot because the second most hated you know some people with fantasy analysts are like we don't hate players we we hate their adp dk on our show we just kind of hate some players i know that
Speaker 2was i was going to say that hey didn't did a great job of laying that whole thing out i just still kind of just can't draft cowpats i agree with everything he's saying because i but i just kind
Speaker 5of hate i'm going to put josh on the spot next because the second most discussed maybe hated player in the history of the show is jalen waddle receiver who's traded to the broncos this year the player i think these two guys and the reason i want to start with them are the players that i'm most afraid of my biases ruining my year because i'm worried they can have big years josh you had him on your list he was traded the broncos obviously obviously for a first round pick uh why is jalen waddle also not a rake that you might step on and hit your face
Speaker 6uh for one we had ryan heath who's like this up-and-coming great mind in fancy football on the program last year and and he talked about league winning wide receivers and one of the best stats for that is first downs per route run uh it's why we were on crystal ave last year this past season jalen waddle ranked eighth in first downs per route run and if you look weeks 1 through 16 last year he was the wide receiver 18 in points per game on an offense that was 31st in place per contest and now he goes to one that was fifth in plays per game and you're able to draft him as wide receiver 20. like none of that really makes sense to me at all and when you look at where the broncos with sean payton throw the football they were second in the league among wide receivers in screen rate third in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in screen rate third in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in screen rate third in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in screen rate third in game three in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in screen rate third in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in screen rate third in game three they were second in the league among wide receivers in go balls and 12th in crossing routes like if you go balls and 12th in crossing routes like if you go balls and 12th in crossing routes like if you were just to diagram and visualize where were just to diagram and visualize where were just to diagram and visualize where jalen waddle is at his best it's all jalen waddle is at his best it's all jalen waddle is at his best it's all three of of those areas so three of of those areas so three of of those areas so to me this is the perfect landing spot to me this is the perfect landing spot to me this is the perfect landing spot for a for a for a styling of a player like jalen waddle who styling of a player like jalen waddle who styling of a player like jalen waddle who has never been really asked or forced has never been really asked or forced has never been really asked or forced to be an alpha since he's been in the nfl to be an alpha since he's been in the nfl to be an alpha since he's been in the nfl mostly since he's been tied to tyree mostly since he's been tied to tyree mostly since he's been tied to tyree kill and is the one player that sean kill and is the one player that sean kill and is the one player that sean payton knows that hey i can get out of payton knows that hey i can get out of payton knows that hey i can get out of this kind of gimmick stuff and go back this kind of gimmick stuff and go back this kind of gimmick stuff and go back to the new orleans saints stylings of me having like this very proficient passing attack and uh waddle is the key to all of that dk this
Speaker 5is fun i'm glad you guys are here because dk hates sean payton but likes jalen waddle and craig and i hate jalen waddle but like sean payton i was the jalen waddle defender last year and then
Speaker 2he got traded to the broncos and i'm like oh hell now i can't do it um i will say he's probably the guy i'll miss on the most this year just because uh i have a bit that i just can't draft any sean payton players anymore i just can't do it i can't i can't like be held to the whims of sean payton whoever he wants to like feature in his offense on any given day that being said i mean if you just sort by these are the pass rating qualified quarterbacks if you sort by attempts per game last year guess who's number one bo nicks yeah isn't that wild like i don't really feel like that was the case but bo nicks averaged 36 pass attempts per game last year i mean he led the nfl in pass attempts um so you know there's a there's a enough to go around i do think it's going to be more of a you know like focused offense in terms of who's out on the field last year it was constant they were like rotating in they had to get everybody their snaps um basically the only guy that played over um 80 of the snaps or over 60 of the snaps was courtland sutton i mean the next closest guy in snap rate was troy franklin at 58 and that's just not something that's not a world you can live in with the receiver position i don't think that's going to be the case this year obviously i think they traded um so yeah he's probably going to be a blind spot for me because of all those things i want
Speaker 5hayden josh whoever wants to jump in dk's point of will they trade him for because they want to play him a lot sean payton is traded up for marvin mims and never played him sean payton i think
Speaker 2traded up for jr sean payton trades for people it's like i mean all it doesn't take the football
Speaker 6away thing again this is gonna be my point like don't you think it's a bit different of not knowing who sean payton is going to play when maybe the other guys you were drafting in fantasy football were like evan ingram and troy franklin and marvin mims like jalen waddle is another tier of the
Speaker 5that we're talking about especially because sean payton was trying to run back a super bowl team and they didn't really add anyone in free agency at all and jalen waddle is really the only player i my question josh i so is is it like is he sean payton has a vision of a team he's trying to rebuild the 2007 saints offense at all times is jalen waddle going to be like faster like like better brandon cooks or faster michael thomas because those are different players if you're
Speaker 6drafting fantasy sign me up well i mean i'm also not saying that bo nicks is drew breeze here so i think like the offense is utilized in different ways and will attack different areas of the field like for example okay broncos last year third most passes off play action uh obviously where the the dolphins excuse me jalen waddle was coming from and the dolphins lots of play action on top of that but he had over four routes per run off of play action last year so like again all these stats and underlying metrics and just the eye test to me point to jalen waddle being very very good injuries being hampered by quarterback play a lot of bad moments over jaylen waddle and i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen and i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle
Speaker 5i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle
Speaker 7i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle
Speaker 5i think jaylen waddle is going to be one of the best players i've ever seen over jaylen waddle to pat bryant behind the line of scrimmage really and that that's our guy pat bryant don't you know i love pat bryant i think it also speaks to why sean payton was like literally anyone do anything for me i unfortunately agree with you guys i think i mean uh ftn almanac had the great stat that bow nicks he had a hundred attempts targeting middle of the field intermediate so basically not just right in front of the line of scrimmage a hundred attempts targeting middle of the field it was the second lowest dvoa among all qualified starters and so it's like jalen waddle it screens it's deep stuff and it's everywhere which is what you want and it's play action rollouts it's crossers it is a lot of bubble screens and so i unfortunately agree and think jalen waddle has the lead winning upside and i think i'm gonna have to change my mind on him and then craig i don't know if he'll be with me but he'll fill the trade when it comes back uh i like these so far this episode is brought
Speaker 4to you by google chrome you think you know a browser but gemini and chrome that's new it can help you with practically anything on the web like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50 page restoration blog or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks gemini and chrome is here for it ready to make anything online make sense there's no place like chrome check responses set up required compatibility and availability varies 18 plus you matched on hinge you're vibing
Speaker 8then her energy completely changes what do you do i'm raven smith and i wrote and read a real love story about this exact sitch listen to the free audiobook now dk i want to ask you
Speaker 5while we're on these receivers uh you you texted ricky parasol and i was annoyed because i also wanted ricky parasol ah but he's also one of these guys he's also an injury prone guy in the niners offense and i'm just curious because i feel like we sold ricky parasol to everyone last year and
Speaker 2then he didn't do anything well i mean he hurt his he hurt his knee i mean if you go back and and well yeah he was shot earlier and then he hurt his knee um i mean just going back to last year i kind of had forgotten about this he had um he was shot four catches he never brings up
Speaker 5that he was shot dk always just was like he's how long do we get how long do we gotta fall back on
Speaker 7this yeah how long do we gonna do this in 10 years from now with these shot and that's the excuse
Speaker 5like spoiler alert no it's never not gonna come up it's always geez um he had four catches for
Speaker 2108 yards against the seahawks in week one um i've kind of had forgotten about that and over the first three games obviously a very small sample but he hurt his knee in week four um the first four week or first three weeks he had a 22 target rate five catches and 93 yards per game um you know and he's still over the year average over two yards per route run even coming like even battling through you know pcl injury and we've seen how that can really affect guys a lot like basically you lose your stability in your knee um bowers drake london last year yeah and so um i i really do think this is a situation where and look this is kind of going i don't trust kyle shanahan thing but i do think um which is this offense i don't i i i'm kind of off the not trusting shanahan thing i'm on the sean payton is the devil i think dk has come
Speaker 5so there are there are good coaches that build good offenses and dk likes the ones that get the best players the ball in creative ways and dk has come to hate the guys that get creative players like basically being like oh you don't know how i'll get justin jefferson the ball or how i get the ball and dk hates matt lafleur being like you don't know where the ball is going and dk is like
Speaker 2i'm done with these people yeah no it's it's purely fantasy i know they're good coaches look i get it um but if you look at the 49ers good offense good quarterback i've come to accept it brock brock pretty he's a good player uh he's a pierce a good route runner good hands and i think the injury is really the only question here and i think the 49ers are going to score a lot of points the other thing here that is interesting is i saw this great article from jared smola um at draft sharks and it rankings where he kind of talked about he looked at the implied points uh opposed opponent implied points this is all like based on on vegas projections game total shootout potential
Speaker 5etc the 49 careful to shoot out with parasol but yeah sure sure um the 49ers ranked seventh in that
Speaker 2just based on look their defense isn't really what it used to be they could bounce back this year but last year they were pretty bad so that gives you the opportunity to have a lot of um high scoring games and back and forth and a lot of a lot of points and plays and so um with kittle likely missing time early in the season i wouldn't put it past him to get back within like a couple of weeks i guess but he may not be himself until halfway through the season at least um and then mike evans also kind of injury prone so um you could have the potential here for a really high upside high ceiling with pierce all if uh if things fall the right way and i think you know even if they do end up having pretty much everyone healthy i i still think he's a good player who's going to get a good chunk of the you know target rate here twenty percent target rate um and you know be a useful player i think he's just undervalued right now
Speaker 5hayden on yahoo ricky parasol is oh am i pulling this up yeah ricky you have uh ricky parasol below
Speaker 7your future yahoo colleagues uh-oh whoa explain myself yeah first of all how dare you yeah first of all um tough competition over there i will say this that entire tier of receivers you know they're not going to be able to do that they're not going to be able to do that they're Josh Downs, Xavier Worthy. I'll throw in both of the Packers, young guys, Reed and Matthew Golden, obviously. There's a pretty nice, like, you draft them as your wide receiver four or five, and they can easily be your wide receiver three in fantasy. I don't think those guys are that dissimilar from, like, the Jordan Tyson, Makai Lemon tier, who's, like, multiple rounds ahead. So I kind of skip out on that tier, and then whoever's just available in this range, I'll gobble them up. I see the same thing with the George Kittle stuff. Like, I saw the, everyone, like, at the tight end university stuff were like, wow, look at George Kittle. I was like, are you guys looking at the same play? Like, he's clearly limping. Like, am I in crazy pills? Everyone's like, look at him go. And I was like, I'm not sure about that. So I wouldn't be surprised if it's, like, a pretty slow season for George Kittle, and somebody's going to have to step up.
Speaker 2I saw this stat from Fantasy Points, which was fascinating. Among players that ran 50 routes, so that's, like, a pretty, not that high of a bar. He was third in route win rate, behind only Devontae Adams and Mike Evans. Mike Evans is another interesting one, obviously, I think. And he's a guy that I'm interested this season for fantasy purposes. But I do think Pearsall's just a post-type sleeper, where we got excited about him last year, and he started out really well, and then he got hurt. And then he just wasn't himself for the rest of the season. Your guys, you know, Matt Harmon, I was reading his article recently, and he comped him to Adam Thielen, as kind of like... I think he comped him. He has, like, a historical player comparison tool that looks at, like, the different win rates and where they line them up.
Speaker 5Win rate, race, all that stuff.
Speaker 2Yeah, white receivers with great hands. It's a great filter. And Adam Thielen was a top mark there. So I think that's just fascinating to see how this will go. And again, like, Shanahan's going to dial up plays to get these guys open.
Speaker 6Yeah, Heifetz, I think Mike Evans is a big deal for Ricky Pearsall, because you can stick him on one side of the field, be stationary if you want, and then that allows Kyle Shanahan to be extremely creative with Ricky Pearsall. Like, you don't have to put him on the line of scrimmage. You can get him in these stacks, get him in full-speed motions, all that type of stuff. And with that, like, even dating back to Ricky Pearsall's time with Anthony Richardson, our guy, back at Florida, so many of his targets and catches were, like, 15-plus yards down the field. I mean, his ADOT was tremendously down the field. And if you go back, I can't remember if it was last year or during his rookie season, but there was a huge breakout game against the Detroit Lions that Ricky Pearsall had. And a lot of it was because Kyle got him in these free releases and manufactured space and just allowed him to work down the field. And quick tangent, Heifetz, did you see that Sheffield reported that some teams had DeJuan Stripling as wide receiver one in this class? I mean, there's another name in this wide receiver room, too. Fascinating.
Speaker 5So Stripling, I like Stripling a lot, actually. I am always dubious of any rookie receiver performing for Shanahan. Just because if he goes out and gets Mike Evans, I think Stripling's a guy that I'd probably want to add. Like, I know there's, you know, there's best ball. There's all those different formats. If, like, you're just doing a league, like a 12-team league, I'm like, you can probably add Stripling on waivers when Mike Evans pulls his hamstring.
Speaker 2So there were NFL teams that had Stripling over, like, Carnell Tate, Jordan Tyson, Mekhi Lemon? Sure. Sure.
Speaker 5Why not? So... I'm not going to say what I'm thinking. Thought better of that. I'll say Parasol wins late, and it's hard to quantify, but he just, he's a great receiver. Like, he creates separation. The combination of getting open early in the round, I just think he's great at the catch point. I just think he's, like, he's a creative player. I just, he just, he's a baller. Like, I just think he's fantastic. So I like this pick a lot, DK. I know people might be mad because I literally said Ricky Parasol and Matthew Golden were values last year, but this year, but Parasol's way better. The next guy I want to ask, Josh, you immediately, when I, when we texted about guys, you immediately claimed Saquon Barkley for the Eagles.
Speaker 6Yeah. This is probably what threw DK off because Saquon's obviously not a sleeper at all. Yeah.
Speaker 5I said sleepers, and then I was like, but don't get caught up by sleepers. Tell me players who will outperform their, I don't know, some people wanted eighth round sleepers.
Speaker 6Some people are like, it's not real sleepers. I'm trying to put the blame on myself here, Hyphens. I think we all need a layup, you know, at times. And I think Saquon Barkley's like a real layup in this conversation, right? I think it's absolutely absurd that he's going behind Ashton Jenner. on every single platform out there. And if you go and look at consensus rankings, Saquon Barkley's actually running back nine. At this moment, just overall, when you hear about the Eagles all offseason, you're going to listen to talk about, you know, the passing game and how Sean Manning is going to come in and pluck these new passes and routes and concepts from Jalen Hurts. And how is Devante Smith going to, you know, take over for what A.J. Brown left on the table? And you have Mekhi Lemon and Eli Stowers and all this stuff. Look, none of that matters unless they get the rushing attack to work. Like the key to everything is getting Saquon Barkley back to close to what he did in 2024, because that is what changes the math. Like that is what changes the coverage. That is what forces a safety to get closer to the box. And then you get single high. Then you can throw all this stuff down the field. And this just was an average rushing attack last year versus being a top two, three, four rushing attack like it was in previous seasons. There's all these metrics I can run through in a moment. That point to that. But like, I don't see how we can draft someone. And I'll just I don't want to pick on Ashton Gentry, but I'm going to. And an offense that's projected for like the fifth lowest points compared to one that is, you know, projected among one of the most consistent scoring offenses across the league and just has easily better talent. I test wise didn't see anything different from Saquon that I did the previous year. He just wasn't given the second level as often enough to showcase those 20, 30, 40, 50, 60. 70 yard runs. Right.
Speaker 5Hayden, do you think the Eagles bounce back on offense or is the point that they don't even have to really bounce back for Saquon to be worth a first round pick?
Speaker 7Yeah, they can be the 10th in scoring. It doesn't matter. I thought that the sign last year, which we ignored, was when all the offensive line and we're like, my back hurts. That was a lot of rush attempts going in from the last postseason. And we kind of like ignored that. And then Lane Johnson this time, Landon Dickerson, like contemplated like retirement. And he played only 14 games. And he was a young player. Good. Yeah. And he was. He was just like he was just straight up not good. Cam Juergens was in and out of the lineup. He was not the same player. In theory, those guys should be healthier this year just because last year was such a disaster. And I think that's going to make a big difference here. I think the coaching staff is still the same kind of Eagles principles, a little bit Packers. And that's all Josh Jacobs. So and my stat here for him was he scored one rushing touchdown on 11 carries inside the five yard line last year. Like that is entirely an offensive line stat that's due for regression. If we even. If we just scored on half of those, he would have been a top five ish running back even last year when the offense was very stuck in the mud.
Speaker 6It kind of feels like 2026 version of CMC in a way where, you know, we were all drafting CMC first overall. And then he gets injured, has a down season. And then what we get him in the later parts of round one last year for much of the summer. And then he goes and just is the best player in fantasy football. Now, Saquon Barkley, we drafted him as the first overall pick last year. Then he finishes as what the running back 12, 13, 14, depending on your scoring. And then now you get him in the second round. How is Saquon Barkley going in the second round? I mean, a major part of it was just a average environment last year where he was 16th in rushing yards before contact per attempt. When in 2024, that was second. All right. Seventh and explosive carries this past season. Despite that, when he was then second in 2024 with touchdown runs again of 72, 76. 68, 65, 39, 25 and 23 yards. And then just two touchdown runs longer than 13 yards last year. So I don't think this is like a declining player, an old, washed, bad athlete. As we see at the running back spot, just simply put, the Eagles are going to get back to the Eagles. And Saquon Barkley is going to be the biggest beneficiary of that, despite all the noise about the passing attack.
Speaker 2I think that the you know what you were saying about Ashton Genting, too, is like you mentioned, he was what? Saquon was 17th. And yards before contact per carry or whatever, like Ashton Genting was dead last, like among all running backs. And then and then now he's ranked above Saquon. Like if sometimes it feels like we get a little cute and fantasy and we're trying to we're trying to skate to where the puck is going and everything. But like, yeah, this is still the Eagles offensive line. This is still Saquon. Like, go watch him jump over the guy backwards and, you know, touch grass and draft him for TK.
Speaker 5You know what you just reminded me of? Genting is like a it's like a they're like stocks. It's like a tech company pre revenue. Like Genting hasn't done anything. But imagine when he starts making money, how much money he can make. Saquon's like a fucking oil company. And they're like, there's printing money. They're like, yeah, but like how much money is left? And it's like, well, like sometimes, you know what? Maybe Ashton Genting will continue to lose you money. So that there is an element to that. OK, so sticking with the Eagles, I relatedly. So my favorite player and unfortunately, the player I think I'm going to like live and die on the hill this year for is A.J. Brown, who left the Eagles for the Patriots. This year and got traded, didn't get traded to Yahoo, but they get traded to the Patriots. And I just think A.J. Brown is this year's George Pickens. And I think that it's I don't know. But you guys, I think it's harder to find sleepers and values now than it was like five or 10 years ago. I think everyone's smarter. I think it's harder. I think that sometimes you need like multiple overlapping variables that can fall through the cracks of both models and the eye test. And I look at A.J. Brown and I see what I saw with Pickens last year, which is a unanimously talented player who doesn't always have his head on straight. Who would play with a bad, like a bad, not a great passing quarterback and a weird passing and offensive environment. And now A.J. Brown is with Josh McDaniels instead of Kevin Petullo running the offense. He's with Drake May, who's a much better passer than Jalen Hurts, a much more complete passer. And I just think when I look at A.J. Brown's statistical decline, I don't see a physical decline. I see he was not focused. I think A.J. Brown will be incredibly focused this year. Now, I might just be wrong on that. And he's a diminished player. But when I see Stefan Diggs basically replicated the stats that A.J. Brown did last year, playing 45. Of the snaps of the Patriots, I'm like, well, what if A.J. Brown plays 85 or 90 percent of the snaps of the Patriots? I'm like, I just think A.J. Brown is the last receiver left on the board that if he led the NFL in a volume, if he let the NFL in catches or yards or receiving touchdowns, I don't think anyone would even think it's weird. And I don't know why he's necessarily like 30th in some platforms. And so I just think he's still absolutely like a real life top five receiver who had an unfocused couple of seasons because Jalen Hurts is a limited quarterback. And we'll see. I might lose all my leagues because of that. But I just. I just have been surprised to see how many people are willing to write off last year is like a physical issue. Hayden, I might have an opposing view.
Speaker 6So I'd love to hear if you are along the lines of hyphens.
Speaker 7Please. In the first part of the season, I thought A.J. Brown was not the same. But then by the end of the season, I actually thought he looked a lot better. And I don't think that he has to be like peak A.J. Brown to go crazy in the offense just because he has Drake made is like all the catchable ball rate stuff, especially on the downfield targets. Like night and day between Hurts and Drake made last year. And then also throughout the factor, Josh McDaniels had some crazy seasons on the Raiders with Devante Adams, 180 targets, 175 targets. Like, I mean, that wasn't the peak Devante Adams like that was like, yeah, so I think there's just some crazy, crazy potential here. I, I was kind of like wishy washy on them last year, but like the more I thought about this, I'm like, this one does seem like pretty straightforward.
Speaker 5Josh, please feel free to disagree with me. I'm wildly wrong on. Multiple players.
Speaker 6It was more eye test stuff where, you know, when I went and watched him individually in that first half of the season, I thought he did struggle to separate. You know, I thought the best corners in the league were sticking to his hip pocket more often than we previously saw, you know, a freak athlete out there. And that continued a little bit as as the season went along. At the same time, Drake May is so willing to throw into tight windows that he's going to give him opportunities to still make these, you know, dunk on new catches. So I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing.
Speaker 5I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing.
Speaker 6I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing.
Speaker 2I think that's a good thing. I think that's a good thing. so who knows what he could do next year when he's not scrambling quite as much i think there's there's meat on the bone volume wise for him as a passer um and so yeah i think i i just don't know what to make of the the eagles passing game i'm not i'm not confident in it and that's ultimately why aj brown was so unhappy the last year or two um so yeah i would lean aj brown pretty strongly
Speaker 7the other thing is just the static nature of that eagles offense last couple years i mean he was just like online scrimmage just right into the corner space and doing nothing like you have romeo dobbs and kate sean to be like x receiver stuff where you can be a lot more creative with aj brown like some slot snaps like would be nice for for once you know like we haven't seen that in a very long time like he was a slot receiver and almost all his routes in the slot i think if
Speaker 5you look at the 120 receivers that ran the most routes last year i think aj brown literally was last in slot rate he was dead last why and i well i don't know kevin patula would say it's jalen hurts and i think he's dead last in slot rate i think he's dead last in slot rate jalen hurts if he ever spoke he's like a sphinx would say it was kevin patula or sirianni i don't know i i we'll see it to me there is a similarity to saquon it's like the tides coming in and out where the eagles it's like embarrassing wild card loss super bowl appearance embarrassing wild card loss super bowl in embarrassing wild card loss we're on that schedule again but we'll see it maybe the jeff stoutland the whole line coach leaving is overrated could talk about the eagles

Speaker 5okay that's the end of part one with josh and hayden and we kept going and that's going to be part two is going to be next week because it was great but we went really long and then craig will come back from hawaii and we will do hot quarterbacks when craig is back dk you want to do a couple emails here before we get out of here absolutely i asked you like like that was a question but obviously i could say no yeah also i will say while people are asking me to do this people are emailing us please email us punishments for the ringer fantasy football league we're going to bring these back so for those who don't remember the ring we're doing the ringer fantasy football league again we're gonna have bill we're gonna have sal we're gonna have mal we're gonna have chris sean van like we're having everyone from the ringer and what we did last year because we couldn't agree couldn't get all these people who are in charge of us to agree on a punishment that was both humiliating that they would actually do was we had people draft their punishments i think scott emailed us this idea and we had people pick their punishments and you could take them so we're gonna do it again but we it ended up being kind of lame because honestly craig came in last and then he chose not drinking coffee which was because he doesn't drink coffee and it was really lame and we screwed it up and so we want punishments this year and dk no offense but you're more the era of the people in the league and basically there's a limit what people with children like they're not you're not going to do 24 hours in the waffle house like you literally won't do it life changes when you have children have it so all right what would you do if you just how would you describe how people should send in punishments because i think we get a lot of enthusiastic stuff from people in their 20s who don't have kids that are like well you just have
Speaker 2to like only eat hot dogs for a month something that you think your boss would be willing to do how about that these people ultimately are our bosses a lot of them um and i just be just be
Speaker 5realistic that's all it's like it and it's hard too because like sean fantasy was like i won't listen to my eyebrows like yeah he's vanilla ice and i was like that's shocking to me that he would do one but not the other so anyway so i sent us emails but also it's they're not like gonna take a bus to the draft from like 10 states away so but email us the punishments please put the punishment in this subject line title with that said i want to go through a couple things we got an email from nick and bone uh nick writes uh breakfast was yogurt with fruit and honey nice nick says i just got done listening to the pod and you guys were talking about no hands by waka flaca and it took me back to high school where i was on my way to spanish class he said shout out senora rivera and i i was of course i was on my way to an exam at spanish but on the way i was showing my friend no hands by waka flaca on soundcloud should have been spotify but it's fine i know yeah and so nick wrote once we nick writes once we get into class we're taking the test i have no idea what any of these translations are so i attempt to do what every person has laid on my phone and in my attempt to be sneaky i accidentally hit play on my phone and in the middle of this dead silent classroom burst the beginning of no hand of no hands which
Speaker 2is listen to this track bitch oh talk about your all-time backfires so he was trying to cheat and
Speaker 5then he brought all the attention to him i don't know if there could be a funnier song to play the opening one second of than what listen to this track bitch and just like everyone turns and he's like i don't know i don't know i don't know
Speaker 2oh my god that is rough did he get did he get in trouble then he lied and said he lied and said he
Speaker 5was reaching for a pen and his teacher let him off sure that old chestnut and she apparently she let him but she just watched him the entire remaining of the test but he got away with it
Speaker 2that's not as bad i mean that's could be worse like at least like he wasn't watching porn or something on his phone and that started up you know like moaning and whatnot that i that would have been worse yeah but that's that's still pretty tough
Speaker 5pretty tough uh the other one we were talking we asked for celebrity names that hit like how tony hawk just has his actual legal name and it's the perfect name everyone emailed in but adams was the best email and they adam wrote breakfast granola bar from costco banana and a green tea for breakfast you're gonna he said adam writes you're gonna get this a million times but the fastest person in the world being named usain bolt oh right is one of the craziest things that's ever happened you're telling me the fastest person in the world was a half foot taller than every other person running set every sprinting world record did a cool pose at the end of the race while breaking the world record and his last name was literally bolt yeah that's up there that's like what we
Speaker 2called it uh we can never get the name right not nominative nominative determinism nominative determinism where your name forces you into doing something that you doctor doctor end up being the best yeah um that's a great one i think that's probably the elite version of the best version of that um he was man he is fun to watch did you there's like a another young uh really tall sprinter that is like taking over the the hold on i gotta pull this up here did you see the videos of
Speaker 5this i think he's like a high schooler no um yeah i did see that kids are breaking all these track records now i didn't know this but apparently middle schoolers elementary every kid is faster
Speaker 2at every level now oh we talked about this guy gout gout gout gout his name is gout gout like the opposite of no no that's definitely overcome yeah i mean i'm sure he doesn't have gout right he's the world under 20 record holder for 20 meters or sorry for 200 meters um australia he's he is a joy to watch run that guy that guy can run like the wind blows gout gout um gout gout is the opposite of usain bolt
Speaker 5his wikipedia just yell it's just everything's gold first for every race he's runs first first
Speaker 2first first first dude watch him run a race it's kind of it's it's similar to bolt where you know the over the first whatever distance it's everybody's kind of close together but then by the end of the race he just pulls apart pulls away from them at a ludicrous rate it's just unbelievable to watch him it's funny that
Speaker 5everyone who is like a sprinter was like tall people can't do it and then tall people started
Speaker 2doing they're like oh shit dude they can cover so much ground they run the race and probably like half the amount of like strides or whatever um that's that is great did you get any other good
Speaker 5ones besides same bolt was the big one i think now i kind of want the opposite i want gout gouts i really overcame the opposite name yeah yeah like how katron allen the penn state running back his name fat man i'm like that you know not really but ever calls who is the most uh unaptly named nfl player walker little who's like six six but i guess that's more like how little like some people named little or big no app poorly named nfl email it's that i want people like gout gout who are not what you'd expect um okay last one here this is just like a correction for the record well no it's not it's an area of grievance from a listener this is from jeff all right jay bone long time listener first time emailer breakfast multiple black coffees with two over easy eggs on toast with chalula and avocado chalula is good with eggs chalula hot sauce oh is that the hot sauce yeah yeah i like texas peat but yeah jeff says i put hot sauce on
Speaker 2my eggs every morning what kind uh i like to switch it up frank's is a good one yeah um trying to remember the other ones i i always just get random hot sauces and then try them do you like really really really hot hot sauces not like ghost pepper no i don't like that that's
Speaker 5like too much that's like the food version of like climbing mountains or skydiving or shit where people just like want the hottest i don't know what you're trying to feel or why you don't
Speaker 2feel alive unless you're like habanero to me is in ghost pepper stuff it's like it's just a little too much but i'll do like buffalo sauce and i like a lot of it you know
Speaker 5i like a lot of it like hot sauce, but I can't, I don't know. I I've hit my limit. There's too many hot sauces.
Speaker 2Too many choices.
Speaker 5Jeff writes, as a resident Canadian from Vancouver and lifelong hockey fan, please, for the love of God, stop making hockey analogies. While I enjoyed the utter lack of understanding of the sport and its history during Hockey Corner a few weeks back, the continued use of what you believe to be hockey terms, which is mostly hyphens, such as skate to where the puck is heading, has to stop. That's not a hockey saying.
Speaker 2I think I said that today.
Speaker 5We all say it. He says, no one says this, and it feels like a soccer term because in hockey, very rarely are there passes where the player's skating to where the puck is going. 90% of passes are intended to be taped to tape, which is directly to the player's stick. There are exceptions where the puck is dumped or shot for the layperson into the opposing team's end, and the team tries to recover the puck on the forecheck, which involves beating the opposing D-man to the puck or hitting him off the puck. Skate to where the puck is going makes no sense in the context of the sport. Please stop saying it. And he actually goes on and on, and he's basically, you guys are morons. Also, the thing I said where it's icing, he was like, that's wrong too. Basically, he's like, I'd never do this again. Jeff Ainsley.
Speaker 2I will say, that's fair. I understand why he's upset about that. It was attributed, it's attributed to Wayne Gretzky's dad. Like, we didn't make it up. Wayne Gretzky's dad, named Walter Gretzky, was the one who made that expression up. Okay, good, so fuck you, Jeff. I don't know why you're fucking yelling at us about it. Yeah. No, I get it. We sound like morons when we talk about hockey. Well, should it, wait,
Speaker 5so what are you saying? So it's basically, it's that quote, Wayne Gretzky's dad, Michael Scott.
Speaker 2I'm seeing a lot of, I'm seeing a lot of, like, people attributing it to Wayne Gretzky, and then I see a Reddit post that actually was misattributed to Wayne. It was said by his father, Walter.
Speaker 5Are we sure?
Speaker 2About the way that Gretzky plays. I think part of what made him great was, you know, being able to see the whole, like, the whole, everybody on the ice and know where to, like, be and where to pass. But obviously, look, I call, I went on Vancouver Radio one time with our buddy Bick and I accidentally called the puck a ball. You called? Like, look, I don't really have A Canadian radio. Yeah, yeah. And they called me on it and it was very funny. And they also never let me live it.
Speaker 5What year was this?
Speaker 2This was, like, five years ago.
Speaker 5You called the puck a ball?
Speaker 2I was like, oh, God. They took me, Bick took me to a, Bick and Sat, they took me to a Canucks game. It was great. It was fucking fun. Partly because I called the puck a ball and they were like, okay, you need to come to a game immediately. We need to rectify this situation. All right.
Speaker 5Let's get out of here. We're going to have part two next week. Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig, wherever you are. I hope you're enjoying Hawaii. Thank you, Cam. Thank you, Abu. Thank you, Nikhil. Thank you, Austin. Thank you.

Speaker 5Patron. I love when that song came on, man. That's so good. Dude, I knew every word of that.
Speaker 2It's such a good sing-along song. It hits real hard. It's fucking great. It just reminds me of that college era.
Speaker 5The fifth grade dance, that was, dude. That was just, it was unbelievable.
Speaker 2Crazy that you guys were that age when I was in college.
Speaker 5It is fifth grade. That is the thing. It's like you're 12 years older, but you've been an adult for twice as long. I know, it's wild. The one I always think about is-
Speaker 2This came out in 2005. I graduated college in 2005. 2005.
Speaker 5The one I always think about is like on 9-11, I was in first grade and you were old enough to go to war. Yeah. Like you could fight in war and I was like literally like child. Very strange. Did Chameleon Air do a lot of other stuff? He did. He had another song that was popular. I've been wondering what that guy's up to. Oh, he's the 40s. He's from born in DC. I should meet up with him. He had another song that was big. There's just that crazy bone on it from Bone Thugs-N-Harmon. Wow. Dude, it's great. He had another, what was the other big Chameleon Air song? God, see me roll. Dude, it's just fantastic.
Speaker 2Oh, God. So the two biggest songs on Spotify are writing, which is 335 million streams. It's low. It's too low. And then I guess it's between Turn It Up, Rockstar, and Good Morning would be like the next couple. Rockstar sounds familiar. I think this counts as like a one-hit wonder more or less.
Speaker 5He had two. He was a two-hit wonder and I'm trying to remember what, because I know another song of his. Dollar Signs? I'm going to pull it up. Oh, this is Chameleon Air. It's funny when Spotify has the this is for guys that like kind of had the one big song. Oh, maybe it was Turn It Up. Dude. Oh, Party Like a Rockstar remix with Lil Wayne, dude. Yeah, it was Party Like a Rockstar. Yeah. Party Like a Rockstar. Do you remember Party Like a Rockstar, DK?
Speaker 2I think so. Can you sing it?
Speaker 5Party Like a Rock, Party Like a Rock, Party Like a Rockstar. Come on.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that one. I don't know if that's like one of my favorites, really.
Speaker 5No?
Speaker 2No.
Speaker 5Shout out Chameleon Air. When Craig is back from Hawaii next week, we'll return to you with another Millennial Banger. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. Thank you.

Summary:

FAQs

It is a behind-the-scenes podcast hosted by Jon Favreau featuring cast and crew stories, creative insights, and surprises from across the galaxy. It streams on Disney+ or wherever you get your podcasts.

Danny Heifetz and Danny Kelly are the main hosts, joined by Josh Norris and Hayden Winks from Yahoo Fantasy Football. Craig is on vacation in Hawaii.

He thinks Pitts is still young at 25, showed flashes late last season, and benefits from a Kevin Stefanski offense that heavily features tight ends. Pitts is also falling in drafts after burning fantasy managers in previous years.

Waddle ranked eighth in first downs per route run last year and moves to a Broncos offense that ran more plays per game. Sean Payton's scheme uses screens, go balls, and crossing routes, which fit Waddle's strengths.

Pearsall showed strong route win rates and had a big early season before a knee injury. With George Kittle and Mike Evans having injury concerns, Pearsall could see more targets in a creative Kyle Shanahan offense.

Barkley's down 2025 season was due to offensive line injuries and poor rushing environment, not a decline in talent. The Eagles are expected to return to a top rushing attack, making Barkley a strong value in the second round.
