Fantasy Football Week 6 Recap: Who BOOMED & Who BUSTED? | Fantasy Focus
1h 1m 37s
Week six of fantasy football was one of the most frustrating in recent memory, with no player scoring 30+ fantasy points—a rare absence since 2024. The lack of consistent production across major offenses, including the Texans, Panthers, and Giants, left many fantasy managers scrambling. Notable performances emerged from Tuba Hubbard (Panthers), Travis Hunter (Texans), and Keenan Allen (Colts), who provided reliable upside despite team struggles. The absence of standout scoring from top quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts (out for the year) and the decline of players like Brian Thomas Jr. compounded the season’s challenges. Meanwhile, roster mismanagement in the Colts and erratic coaching decisions in the Giants—such as benching Cam Skataboo—highlighted poor strategic choices. The Panthers’ offense, however, showed resilience with Hubbard’s explosive contributions, making him a top fantasy target. Despite early optimism, the season continues to face major setbacks, and the fantasy landscape remains volatile. This week reinforced the need for flexibility in team building, especially as injuries and poor drafting decisions are prevalent. Many players, including Rico Dottle and Kyle Pitz, have shown flashes of value, but consistency remains elusive. The season’s trajectory appears increasingly unpredictable, with injury news and roster changes undermining fantasy projections. Teams are now forced to adapt quickly, relying on depth and waiver wire pickups rather than established starters. Overall, the lack of scoring in key matchups and the frequency of player absences signal a turbulent season that could test even the most experienced fantasy managers.
♪ Fantasy, you and the old six, oh one old ♪ ♪ Focus, fantasy, fantasy, focus ♪ What's up friends, welcome into fantasy focused football alongside my play and feel Jates. My name is Daniel Dopp here and excited to be able to recap everything that was week six. Honestly kind of a little bit of a down week in week six. We have yet to have a player, score 30, fantasy points, we still have Monday night, football, hopefully someone named Jayden Daniels can make that happen in case you need them. This is what happens when Jameer Gibbs decides to take a vacation. I don't know how long it's been. I would love it if our buddy Kevin Pulsefrues sometimes watches the show can tell us when was the last time we had a week in which a player did not score at least 30 fantasy points. Not even a quarterback. Well, I can tell you it's been since at least 2024. It didn't happen at all last year. Last year we had somebody score at least 30 fantasy points in every week. And obviously this year we've had somebody score at least 30 fantasy points in every week. And yes, we had four teams on a buy, but we have weeks in which we have six teams on a buy. And one of those four teams on the buy was the dolphins. Right. So they didn't really count. Yes. The dolphins were on a buy. The Vikings, they sort of count. They were on a buy as well. I get it. The lions and the Bengals. They helped us out often. Yeah. But out. But I'm just saying like this was a disaster week in fantasy. It wasn't great. Now nobody was as much of a disaster as the person who's deciding how to play the Giants running backs will dive into that a little bit. But yeah, this was a messy week six really messy week six. Quick shout out to our friends at trophy smack use the promo code trophy week seven for 10% off your order over there at trophy smack.com.greps and something fun for your league with that. Let's dive right into everything that is week six. We will also do a little bit of a Monday night football preview at the very end of the show. But Mike biggest game. Yeah. Texans and Jaguars. Yeah. This one now feels like a few weeks ago because so much happened yesterday. But speaking of no offense. Oh, wait a minute. 3431 guys. We got a lot of your 65 points on the board with two of what we thought were the best defenses in the NFL. Not so fast. So fast. Of course, in true form to the way this week went, we had eight touchdown scores and they weren't super helpful in fantasy. Great. The Charlton did score two. Both were touchdown catches. Foster Merrill had two. Jalen Noel had one. Joar Jordan off the practice quiet one. Travis Hunter had one. That was cool. And Nick Borkertcher. Nate Borkertcher. Nate Borkertcher. Nate Borkertcher. Oh, he's happy. There's always a tight end. I can't. Was Nate the one with a sick one handed grab to that was actually him and Foster Merrill had really cool. Okay. One handed grabs. Foster Merrill's was called back because of a time out. Oh, that's right. Oh, okay. And then by the way, this was cool. So the Texans had second and goal or something. They were getting ready to snap the football. Time out was called, but it was so close to when they snapped it that they did run the play. Foster Merrill catches a pass like a little flag route to the corner. It took a time out. They come back and they run the exact same play, which usually it's like the defense is saying I like they saw what are they going to do? The next play and the offense ran the exact same. And it worked unbelievable. So a lot of touchdowns that didn't help us, but let's get into the notable things we need to know moving forward running back snaps were interesting. We were talking about this. We were, of course, live on fantasy, fantasy, focus countdown. We got. That's like a dying sand. Almost not a full stumbling. I stumbled running back snaps. Bush all to 39. Chris Rodriguez 20 and Alan look when I played eight was interesting was Chris Rodriguez took on a larger share of their rushing workload, but that expanded two in his role in the passing game Rodriguez 55 yards on 11 carries just 12 for 39 for tune, but tune ran 25 routes in this game guys call for targets for 48 arts and two touchdowns at 10% target share. They had a lot of passing volume. So it's not a big share, but it's a move in the right direction as long as he's involved in the passing game that can offset if they roll back is rushing a little bit in this game. Otherwise for taxable solid games for Parker Washington, Jacobi Myers and Brenton Strange Travis Hunter actually played nine offensive snaps in this game. That was an expanded role for him. He had a good day at the office, but it's not. And when you're playing nine snaps, it doesn't matter that he found the end zone had a couple of catches. He's just not going to be a consistent fantasy option. So don't worry about adding him on waivers. And the big story here kind of behind the scenes is Brian Tom is zero second half snaps play 22% total. They're on a buy now. Is he going to be on this team when they come back from the buy? I don't know. We'll see you next week. They aren't a buy. So fascinating to see what happens here with Brian Thomas because he's running behind Josh Cameron. Now they're working Travis Hunter and more. I don't know what the point of him is right now. And he could be a value on the trademark. All right. First call out the chat. Let's get a realistic tree. I don't want Brian Thomas Jr. for Christian McAfry. Right? Like throw me a realistic trade to a team that you think makes sense. If you want to make it a draft capital trade, you can. If you want to just say who you want to be traded to, that also works. But we want Brian Thomas Jr. to get a new home. It feels inevitable at this point. What's the point of having him on the team? He's rostered in 51% of leagues right now. So he's out there in a bunch of spots. Is this similar to like the Marvin Harrison? This is exactly what this is. Brian Thomas Jr. is not long for Jacksonville. I don't have insight information saying that. I'm using my comment. Yes. Right? Like this guy context was wide receiver three as a rookie with Mac Jones as his quarterback. So Brian Thomas Jr. should not should not be a Jacksonville Jaguar for much longer. The trade deadline is with three or four weeks away. It is time to get this one figured out for Jacksonville makes no sense to collect dust on the bench. Yeah, no doubt about it. I'll talk about the quarterbacks in this game. So start with CJ Stroud since we're talking Houston 312 yards, three touchdowns. He's as we talked about right before the show. We're talking about the software up to fifth at quarterback and fantasy points this season. But guys, he only used two top 12. So he's had a couple big games and then a couple of games where he's like, okay, that's going to be typical of a quarterback that does not run the ball. You just five yards on the ground. So keep that in mind. I still view him as like a Jared Goff sort of fringe QB one will like him in the matchup is good. Probably a QB two in the matchup is neutral or tough. So something to keep an eye on there. Trevor Lawrence, 306 yards, four touchdowns. That's his first top 10 fantasy week. Believe it or not. Since week one. So it's been a minute. He's kind of falling off a little bit. Now he's back up. So we'll keep an eye on him. He still he does run. So well, he didn't yesterday, but in general, I can run. So still a mid range QB one for Lawrence. Let's talk about the actually did this in reverse order. Sorry, but Jacksonville will go down to Houston. Woody marks 78% of the snaps without David Montgomery in this game. 56 yards on the ground, 25 yards through the area. 17 touches to our Jordan, as mentioned, did kind of steal the rushing touchdown on this one at six for 43 on the ground. If David Montgomery is out, we will obviously need this data a little bit more when we're back projecting what happens in their next game. But for now, we're not going out of the way to start. What did he have? What did Woody marks have this? Like let's say Woody marks got that point one fantasy point. So if he gets that touchdown, then he'd be, you know, right in that right in the realm of, okay, he paid off. Yeah, Jordan, no, he's a good rusher. You know, they liked him last year. He had a couple cup of tea late in the season was effective. So he's not going to go anywhere if Montgomery remains out. For now, Mark's the better fantasy option. However, he's used that phrase cup of tea. I think it's because of you. Yeah. Come on, cup of tea. That's another, that's another term I know mostly from baseball. Yeah, using a lot of baseball terms. Yeah, get a cup of tea in the major. Who do you got in the world series? If the raise advance the raise and brewers. Yes. It's okay. I don't know the rules. I guess favorite. Yeah. Oh, they would be okay. I've planted home. I take the brewers, raves, fillies. I don't know any of them. The Guardian still have life. Anyway, anyway, Marvin Harrison Jr. makes his debut for use in 11 snaps. It was just a 19% share eight routes, three for 34 and four targets. So they put them on the field and threw it to him half the time. His role will expand going forward. I'm noticing. I'm officially noticing. Yeah. I'm noticing too. And by the way, that leads right into jail in New well at four catches for a hundred and seven yards and a touchdown on four targets, not buying on that. Not a guy running the waivers for because Harrison's role is going to expand its Nico. And then it's going to be Harrison. And that's probably going to be New well in the slot. And then you're going to have booty and Hutchinson kind of rotating. And that should be the dynamic of that wide receiver room. But Harrison, if he's still out there in a handful of leagues on waivers, he is scoop him up, get him on your bench. Nico, by the way, three for 74. That's a terrible day for him. He's still got double digit fantasy point. So keep moving forward with him in your lineup. There's nothing like being able to trade for two wide receivers and then have the third round draft pick that you were hoping was going to do something actually lead the team and receiving like you did this week. Sometimes it just works out that way with the three wide receivers. Look, haven't Nico and Harrison on the outside. If they get something out of Harrison's going to help free up no all for some big plays, but he's not a guy that's going to be a consistent fantasy starter. Again, he had four targets in this game. Texans. Also, I'm officially noticing they're back in the mix. Maybe they have now just two games back in that division. If they sit them out yet, they've the same record as the Rams. What I thought, are you out on booty? I'm out on booty. Tell me something I don't know. All right. Next one is a bucket nears. Do you know you're up? Sounds good. Steelers and bucket nears, guys. You know what happened in this one? Aaron Rogers. Let us know that Jimmy Bernard is his new best friend. Holy smokes. By the way, in the first time since the Super Bowl era, shout out to our buddy Kevin Pulse for I texted him this last night and I was asking for a little bit of help. Aaron Rogers is the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era to find two pass catchers for at least 11 receptions and neither one of them hit a hundred receiving yards. That has never happened before in the Super Bowl. That's right. A lot of history in this game. Dude, Jimmy Bernard looks legit. At this point, you can't not pay attention to what's going on. I know Roman Wilson wasn't there. We know that the injuries with Michael Pitt in Jr. Ben Scorronic not being there. At this point though, Jimmy Bernard is going to be one of the biggest waiver targets. We'll talk about him a bunch tomorrow on that Tuesday. We talked about him last week and I was aggressively like, go get him. I was like, I kind of mad. I didn't get him in more leagues. He did say that on Wednesday morning. Yeah. So, uh, but yeah, he's, I have him in our FFC league and he's, he might be pushing for a starting spot. He might be more valuable than DK going for a wave to see a base on what way he was 50.
team targets for DK Mechak. By the way, they both, these two were the clear past catchers in this one, running backs. We got Rico Dottle back in this one. Guys, we had three straight games with no Rico Dottle and Jan Warren eight in all three of those games. This one back, Julian Warren played 74% of the snaps. Rico Dottle played 28% of the snaps. Rico did look good, by the way. Yeah. And he maybe that stands to reason when you're playing one quarter of the snaps as opposed to three quarters of the snaps, but he looked good. And this is, I think where Rico was going to be rather than have standalone fantasy value, he's just going to unfortunately hurt the value of Jalen Warren for us in our life. Yeah. This was like dead evening carries a decent chunk of the way into this game. But then when the Steelers were in comeback, my Warren took over and kind of separated himself. So I'm going to be interesting dynamic moving forward, but yeah, Warren. Yeah. Yes. But they want to get Rico Dottle involved. They made that clear. They want to put the ball in his hands. Let's talk about the bucks really quickly. Oh, by the way, quick, can I say one more thing, our Rogers two passing touchdowns. He got there. He tied Peyton Manning for third all time on the passing touchdown list. So love that. I believe I won that fantasy face off as well. Right? What was that? It was a couple fantasy. It was a comedy. You Drake London. Obviously won that one. Yes. Yep. So take that was a flowers. Was that one London was Watson? London versus Watson. And I won that one. Just like I had Watson. Was it Watson? That he could be 9.4. Okay. Anyway, I don't know. I have to check these. Here I am. I remember like I can remember like I said, they had to be pretty close. London didn't have a big game. Well, let me make sure that I let me make sure that I'm not put not not. All right. We could do that later here. Just you don't want to do it live now. You talk. I'm going to go check out my talk. Daniel is my game. Let's talk about the Tampa Bay bucks. Bucky Irving. Touch the ball. A ton. Oh my gosh. Guys, what did he have? Like 21 touches in this one? Well, the team carries 19 carries two catches. You're right. Look at that. I'm only more prepared. 6.9 fantasy points. I resent you. But at the same time, only three touches for Kenny Gainwell. This is just a really tough one. If you were the Pittsburgh Steelers and you came into this game and you saw what Bucky Irving did the week before your main goal would be, you know what I'm going to do? Let Jalen Daniel is the undrafted free agent. Beat us with his arm or maybe with his legs. And we're going to shut down Bucky Irving. They did that. Yeah, he did. Um, Ameka Buka back to back weeks was 17 plus fantasy points. Yeah. This time it was a bunch of receiving game work. Last game, he had a rushing touchdown. 9 plus targets in three of his last four, including 16 in this one. Jalen Daniels isn't exactly like the most accurate passer in the NFL. But as long as we know that he can get the ball to Ameka Buka, I'm feeling a little bit better about my Ameka shares with Jalen Daniels under center. I might not matter, though. Baker Mayfield very well could be back for week seven. That would be huge for this passing game. Yeah. To your point about Buka 16 targets. That's great. But just seven catches. So we need that to be better. Those are the only guys that we are even thinking about as fantasy starters in this offense. A decisive win for Drake London, 10.2 to 9.4. Oh my gosh. You thought it's so like you were. I've been that confident. Yes. I heard it yesterday on fantasy focus countdown. She'll call us. Next one we got. What is his bears falcons bears and Falcons great to see Caleb Williams back. He scored just 16.5 fantasy points. I don't know how many quarterbacks have played better real life games with fewer fantasy points than what Caleb Williams did yesterday. But there is a specific reason for that 30 for 36 30 for 36. So five out of six in terms of completion percent is 83% 305 passing yards and a passing touchdown. Felt to me like Caleb Williams pulled himself back as a runner yesterday. We did see him do some maneuvering in and out of the pockets. But he had just three rushing yards and the bears pounded the football at the goal line with a combined three touchdowns for Deandre Swift. And I thought Roshan Johnson's score one as well. Did he did rushing? Yes. Excuse me. He did. So there it was 14.5 fantasy points for Roshan Johnson. The one passing touchdown that Caleb Williams threw yesterday. Yes, sir, was too coast in lovelies. Yeah. He did. He actually had. Yeah. So he had seven targets to coast in loveless six catches 65 yards. There was this play. It's kind of like the snap play where Caleb Williams has an opportunity to throw the football is coast in loveless is running to the front pylon. Yeah. Caleb's got to get that ball out right away right away. Colston Lovelin probably just catches the football. Holdston could easily have had two touchdowns yesterday. He has to settle for one. That was good. I would say we are two thirds of the way back on the bear's past catchers because Luther Burton saw a pretty dramatic emotion in terms of snap percentage yesterday. I had him at 35.6% Mike might have a different number, but it was low. Well, Luther Burton, though, when he is on the field is going to see the football. He ran 16 routes and at eight targets and eight catches eight catches for 95 yards. So it's sort of a good news bad news with Luther Burton because he is just explosive enough and his play collar is just creative enough that even not just both of these guys. He's plenty explosive enough and the play collar is plenty creative enough. Are you okay? Yeah. I feel like Tyler yesterday. I know. We're losing Mike over here. Who's my voice? Look at Burton. So he barely plays. But he still has 17 and a half fantasy points. So I lean more towards the good news side of it than the bad news side of it for Luther Burton. I'm okay. If they're going to reduce his role, as long as they get him to football, when he is on the field, not sure what I'm going to say. He's playing more than any bear's wide receiver by a lot. Still think there's some talent there for Roman Doonsay, but three catches for 39 yards. For now, the pecking order for bears wide receivers, even with Rome being on the field all the time is Luther Burton won Roman Doonsay, too. And that is a pretty clear designation. They play Thursday night. I'm excited for this Thursday night game, by the way. Yeah. Bears hosting the Patriots. We'll see whether any bears wide out draws the Christian Gonzalez shadow. That Patriots team totally neutralized Garrett Wilson yesterday. Tough match up for whoever is that top bears receiver. Yeah, probably Doonsay more than Burton. Who's going to move around a lot and he'll be in the slot quite a bit. For the Bears, besides that, just until Kyle Menungai is back, Rocheon Johnson is the Bears RB two, which if Menungai is going to miss a couple of more weeks, Rocheon, a reasonable guy to have on the end of your bench, just in case something happens to the Andre Swift. For the Falcons, it was kind of a forgettable day for fitness. Definitely forgettable, right? Bejon. Yes. We'll talk about him in a moment. Bejon has 7.3 fantasy points, nine rushes for 61 yards. That's a season low. Just two catches for negative eight yards. It's probably too soon to declare this race fully over, but those that were Jamir Gibbs over Bejon Robinson at 1.01. For a while, I was sort of saying like, guys, it doesn't really matter like the end of like, after four weeks, Bejon and Jamir were both clearly the two best players in fantasy football. Guys, Jamir Gibbs had more receiving yards in a week in which he had a buy. Yes. Then Bejon Robinson did. It's amazing. But the bottom line is this is that like, yes, Jamir Gibbs, the deserved 1.01. The bigger question is if we were to redo it right now, does it go Gibbs, Kenneth Walker, the third, and then Bejon or Gibbs, Bejon Kenneth Walker, the third. Yeah. JS ends in that conversation too. You're probably I mean, he might be, he might three or four. Yeah. It's probably those four and kind of a tier one of guys. We'll talk about Puko, who kind of done it again yesterday. But kind of a disappointment today for Atlanta. I mentioned Drake London. He absolutely smoked Christian Watson. He actually caught a two point conversion, which I forgot. Yes. So it was 12.2 for Drake London. I win that fantasy face off. Johan Dawson. Sure. Why not 17 points? I've been fantasy points. Thanks. Not at all important for us. But how about Kyle Pitz, baby? Yeah, there we go. Pitz is back. Yeah. Until next week. Yes. Correct. Kyle Pitz is back until you start trusting him and he's back. Exactly right. I told you I said he's got five touchdowns scientifically left to score. He did two of them. And he did. He's right. Back on track. Correct. Touchdown catches for the season. I don't know like Kyle Pitz. And this is a year in which this kind of thing will be said more often. I have decided and I don't know if I'm being a prisoner of the moment. And chat can tell me I'm a lunatic. People listening right now can tell me I'm a lunatic. My life. My wife doesn't like three times a week. This just feels like more of a disaster season across the board and fantasy than I can recall in quite some time. And it's not like a top five pick hasn't been lost for the year to the injury. I mean, a lot of those last year in prior years, we've had major injuries at the top. We haven't had that to super start the guys we drafted early. The first couple of rounds have all pretty much panned out. It's just guys that we thought could be good across the board. It's just a ton of just absolute disaster class, whether it's chargers and everything there, the bears for the most part, right? You were in a, I was just going to say the dead zone of the draft has all been a disaster. So I need to stop saying just cross guys off because I've realized I've used that terminology too much cross guys off cross guys off. I've crossed off three quarters of the league at this point. So Kyle Pits probably is going to burn you when you feel like he should be started next week. But he's probably one of the 10 most talented tight ends in the NFL. He's probably the most likely bet to be the number to target within his own offense in a given week. And that's good enough for me. His quarterback, by the way, still playing pretty well. Michael Penex Jr. 23.1 fantasy points yesterday. But to be clear, just be Jean is Drake London and Kyle Pits right there on that fringe tied in one radar. I wonder how many people had to do use pits as an emergency replacement for Tyler Warren because I did one of our knockout leagues. Did you had to scoop? We've a short bench, too. So I had to actually, I had to remove Jordan Tyson from my art, drop him, add pits, move like someone else to IR who is rolled out for this week and plug in pits for Warren. And that, I mean, I'm comfortable either way, but that was, that was huge. I mean, and then now he's on your team, too. He's on your roster. You keep him moving. Let's see if we can get our producers to do a little swap here on the fly. Mike, you were supposed to talk about both the Ravens and the Browns game and the Eagles and the Panthers game.
Maybe we can bump up the Eagles and Panthers games as we have breaking news involving Jalen hurts. Did you see this? No, I did not. Okay. Well, open up your phone, because Jalen hurts is out of the season. And this is a scary one. Jalen and Hurts will be out for the year after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in his lungs. So let's get to do the Eagles and Panthers game probably, but also awesome that they were able to catch it and find it before it became a problem. Like silver lining, want to like very much hopeful that this can get Jalen hurts back on the field sooner rather than later and very glad that they come. I'm not even thinking about sports right now. That's just scary stuff. So yeah, you're right. I'm glad they're on top of it and obviously great, great, great doctors in the NFL picked this up and get this guy taken care of. So we'll see you next year. Healthy Jalen hurts. But in the meantime, let's talk about this game Panthers win it, 25, 14 Eagles hung in there. It did. It started. The offense was atrocious early on. They had a couple drives just to keep a competitive, but it was ruffle. You quick on the Panthers because there's really not a lot to say here. I was going to say it was all right, status quo in the mean guys here, Bryce Young, 281 yards, two touchdowns both went to Tommy Tremble, which was infuriating. That helps no one. Only six yards for Bryce Young again, he's going to probably be a good, a good, a six rushing yards. Probably going to be a good QB two going forward, but not a guy that's going to be in every week's starter. There's a lot of guys that fit that bill. It's just going to be dependent on the matchup each and every week. The other guy here, Tuba Hubbard, 93% of the snaps in this game, fellas, AJ Dillem was out. Trevor HN up off IR. It didn't play very much in this one. Hubbard was so busy, 28 for 120 to touch them. Only two targets in one yard, but he's had a little bit of involvement there in other weeks. Jalen Coker, tremendous six for 97 at 13 targets, Tedaroa, six for 86 on nine targets. One two punch right there. Tedaro at Jalen Coker. Lock him in. They have been fantastic. They're line up locks every week. Coker is the real deal. He has three full games this year. Both of them are outstanding fantasy days, so one of the better one, two punches in fantasy. You did. He said, he's got three full games this year. Both of them. He has been fantastic. I'm not good at it. No, it's okay. It's just words. I'm the fraction of guys. You're the wordsmith guy. What I wanted to say is after just going off about how much of a disaster this season has been, a rare bright light. Tuba Hubbard. Yeah. I think an awesome is Tuba. Yeah. Guys, he rules. Two percent of the snaps yesterday, obviously Jonathan Brooks being heard has changed the outlook here for Tuba. The guy runs well. He's occasionally involved in the passing game. This offense is pretty good. Shout out to you, buhubber. Yeah. As someone who, and again, you, I know you were front and center on Tuba Hubbard. But when there when all there was so much Jonathan Brooks, I, Hubbard got really cheap and draft. So I have quite a bit of him. The one thing I'll say though is someone who's starting him every week is, I don't want 93% of the snaps because I don't know if he's going to make it all the way. So I want Brooks to come back and take a little bit off of his plate. Um, but yeah, just, I mean, guys just don't hold up 30 touches a game. So this can't go on forever, but he should be a fantasy starter. A good one. The rest of the season. Also, this is a great team to practice a little bit of fantasy gratitude on because we thought the chargers were going to be really great this year and they've been terrible. They've been a handful of teams. We thought we're going to be really good this year. And they weren't going to be very good. And it feels like the Panthers were getting something out of Bryce Young that we weren't sure we were going to get. You got two wide receivers that are locked in as line of blocks now and Tuba Hubbard is looking unbelievable like they've, they may have from a fantasy standpoint over, over produced from what we thought coming into the season based on where all of these people were drafted. Lord, you need them though. They have. Yeah. They have three line of gratitude. I mean, very clear. Three line of blocks right now. Yeah. Great. Do you receive that rolling and then Bryce is as useful sometimes. Eagle side. Not good. Uh, efficiency wise, but there are some silver lining, Tanner McKee attempted 45 passes at 215 yards in turn didn't throw an interception in this game. No rushing arts. As expected, the guy is not going to be a streaming option at fantasy. However, uh, he did get the football to his top two guys. That's really important to us. Devon T Smith was actually limited 66% of the snaps, 14 targets cut seven for 75 yards in a touchdown. He remains in the wide receiver one conversation Dallas got it six for 61 and eight targets. He remains a back end tight end one in the back field. This might not matter if Sequan Barclay returned soon, but Damien pierced like 59 of 61 snaps in this game. Right. 12 carries five target five targets in the game scored a touchdown car since deal was going to have a role. But he got hurt early only played two snaps in the game. So if Barclay remains out Pierce fringe RB2, which is what he was this week. If Barclay is back, obviously Pierce is no more than an insurance running guy. No practice yet for Sequel and obviously it's a hamstring injury. We believed it would be multiple weeks. We'll see how this one looks. I don't think Philadelphia, just because of the division they play in is in the business of being like, all right, Sequan, we're just going to hold you off because we're thinking about 2027, especially this week Monday night football, like the Cowboys huge game. If the Eagles feel they have any chance of Tanner Miki keeping them in this is it. I mean, they got to they got to be competitive with the Cowboys is a big opportunity here. Let's talk Titans and Colts here, friends. We can be pretty quick on this one Titans and Colts. We're not necessarily a very fun game to watch, but we did get a handful of things. At least from the Titan side, we had Carnell tape, quick bounce back in this one, six catches for 70 yards and a touchdown player. And that was basically it for the time I would say on Carnell tape. If there's a guy that you have on your roster that you think is overachieving. Carnell tape, like you're not going to get him for nothing right now. He's had two games that have been really good over his past three, he had 145 yards a couple of weeks ago, he had the one catch for five yard last week, and then he had six for 70 to TD yesterday. If there's somebody that you think is overachieving, they are willing to part ways with that the other managers in your league might think is a real bonafide asset. I trade for Carnell tape right now. Yeah. He is a stud, a stud. I mean, that catch he made yesterday for the touchdown was beautiful. He had multiple beautiful catches. I think he is already in the conversation for like top 10 best hands in the NFL. Really? He's amazing. He catches everything that comes his way. Big believer in Carnell tape, this draft class has been interesting so far. The number one pick has barely played that, of course, being Fernando Mendoza, Jeremiah Love at number three. Super talented player, but misutilized, but that top of the draft looks really, really good for a draft. It wasn't considered really, really good, right? Yeah. Like David Bailey. Keeper for the Jets. Arville Reese. Excellent for the Giants. Carnell tape. Amazing for the Titans and sunny styles. Can't wait to watch him tonight for the commander. Yeah, by the way, I mentioned this last week, but the Titans, very light remaining schedule for their offense, specifically their wide receiver or so. And he's already had it easy. They've had it. I have them with the 30 EC schedule so far, but it's second easiest going forward. So good news for Carnell tape. On the other side of this one, John and the Taylor did what John and Taylor does, 150 plus totally yards, found the end zone. Keenan Allen, eight catches for 82 yards in this one, guys, he had three straight games with nine plus targets. Yeah. Keenan Allen has. But it's kind of emblematic of the news that took place this morning. Yes. So Chris Ballot. Yeah. Go ahead. You go. You take it. The Colts announced that they fired Chris Ballot. They're GM, who's been there for a decade. They have never won the division. They've made the playoffs twice once won a game once. They gave Daniel Jones $44 million a year in this offseason. They gave Alec Pierce $28 million a year in this offseason. They traded the way too far as Trump picks for sauce gardener, right? Like this team has hardly even been able to chase the middle. They've been chasing like, you know, the 10th pick in the draft, basically. It's just been a mess. It's an absolute mess. And that's part of the problems. Other than Jonathan Taylor, there's nobody in this offense that matters for our purposes consistently. The quarterback has been awful this year. Daniel Jones was terrible again, you know, I mean, what happened to that guy? I understand his health last season. But just a complete mismanagement of the roster over the past few years. And this Colts team is about Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren when he's healthy. Otherwise I don't really, really, really want to start anybody on this offense. Yeah. I agree. I think there's enough volume here to Daniel's point on Keenan Allen where I prefer him to Josh Downs for the moment as a flex option in PPR, but he's about at his ceiling yesterday, right? He's not going to score a ton of touchdowns. He'd eight for 82. And this one, you're not usually going to get quite that much volume and production from him. But that's about it. Until Alec Pierce comes back. Yeah. And we did not have Tyler Warren was ruled out before the game. So that's a part of it. No, Tyler Warren's not going to be there that might actually be like a sneaky flex consideration for Keenan Allen as that middle of the field guy, but we'll keep an eye on that as well. Jets and Patriots, Patriots win there with third straight game, I believe. And Drake May was once again awesome. We'll talk about him in a moment for four of the Jets. If this is it for Breeze Hall's absence, shout out to Braille and Allen, who has just been good. Like it wasn't dominant on Sunday, but 12.4 fantasy points. He has played all the snaps for these Jets running back. I mean, I saw Isaiah Davis. I have some role. Yeah. No, no way. No chance. No, how? Garrett Wilson. Eight point four fantasy points. I think this Patriots defense is legit. I do think that secondary is good, even with all the injuries, tough day for Garrett Wilson. Good day, though, for Omar Cooper, who I am monitoring Omar Cooper Jr. Now has the Jets, I'm monitoring in general. I get it. Jets fans are going to say everybody talks about us nicely every once in a while. Then we can't find a quarterback and we go back and we stink again. That might be true, but I think they might have nailed the first three draft picks this past year, including two guys that matter for us, Kenyans, Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr. They got three more first round picks next year. Cooper has 22 point three fantasy points yesterday, including a touchdown that was called back on. Now, I was watching, we're all, we're watching all the games at once and you can't always hear the audio or dial exactly in, but that was kind of a ticky-tack penalty on Tim Patrick that was called an offensive pass interference. You got my attention, Omar Cooper Jr. Hopefully Breeze Island. Breeze Hall is back soon for the Patriots. Can I do a quick shout out? Yes. I want to give this. I was cleaning my basement this last week because I'm hosting a house show tonight. And I found some cards that I have.
been Michael's favorite. This is a chat. No way. No way. I've actually got two of these. That's our Chad pennington. It's an ultimate collection and both of these are game used swatches. No, it's my guy. His is number 26 out of 50. This one is number 27 out of 50. We have back to back out of 50. Are you giving this to me? I'm giving that to you so that we can always have one of these and we'll always be connected because it's been trying to win fantasy face off. I'm just saying I know that he really loves Chad pennington. How many game used Jersey swatches? Do you have the Chad pennington? I don't. I don't. I have an autographed jersey and I have a cameo from Chad pennington. I love that he is your guy. I love to know all the quarterbacks. You're guys. That's the thing that always gets people to scratch their heads about me. They're like, why? Why? Why is that your face? I was pumped when there were two of them that were exactly the same numbered right now because that means we just always get to be connected. They put that right on my right on my shelf behind me when I do said Jets EV from home. Jets needed a quarterback. Maybe we could bring Chad out right now. I'd bring him back. Maybe his son at some point right? That's right. Prospect. That's kind of bouncing around the college ranks inside. Drake May, who I understand that there have been quarterbacks that either haven't yet played this week, Brock Perty or guys that are off this week like Jared Goff, but I was looking at the season long fantasy quarterback scoring and Drake May is now quarterback eight for the season. I don't want to say he's like six points away from being quarterback four. So Drake May confirmed he's back. He's been feeling good. He might be better. If his best wide receiver could catch, AJ Brown forgot his hands yesterday. I mean, AJ Brown had 10 targets. You love that number. 10 out of 32 targets went to AJ Brown. Oh my god. Oh no. If you're watching right now, you can see the person who has made a Photoshop of AJ Brown's hand just being six of butter, but AJ Brown had three drops yesterday. One of them on a long pass that would have been, I don't know, 40, 50 yards. Another one for a touchdown. Another one on a slant that he could have picked up maybe 10, 15 yards. AJ Brown will get on track. But if you drive that AJ Brown, through six weeks, you've basically gotten nothing to do. I'm off to miss and things will trend up for AJ. The backfield, not a whole lot going on there. It's still reminder Stevenson. Yeah. It's going to be him playing more than Travian Henderson. He has a better path to fantasy relevance, but there's a low ceiling on both of these guys when they're both playing. I don't know. As there been any update, we had originally gotten news at Travian Henderson. We thought was going to miss quite a bit more time. And then he's back with this one. Is there any updates on how like the length or what this injury is supposed to potentially look like? I mean, he's he's playing yesterday. So he's good. And they're kind of getting on Thursday night. So we did see late in the game. Some Corey Kiner. I was going to ask you about it. I think they were just milking the clock. You think so? Yeah. It was. I mean, he's had a handful of carries now for over the past month. And I wonder if they are going to keep you. So I mean, at 11 for 57, 5.2 yards per carry. Like I don't know. I don't I don't think he's going to be like the lead back, but he's going to take enough that he steals enough from these guys to the hard part with the guy like Corey Kiner is that it's such an obvious. We are going to run the football. Yeah. So if you're killing the clock, the team knows you're trying to run the football. But like throughout the course of the game, if it's competitive, it's hard to bring in a guy on like whatever. Second and six, and expect the team to think you're going to pass the ball when you've got kind of really just going to run the foot. Yeah, they only won by seven though. So it's not like this was a 30 point game, which is usually what where you'll see these guys in mop up. Dude, they were trusting him to not like fumble the ball and turn it over. They could have lost that quick. So I think that's interesting. Even if he gets five or six carries a week, that takes away from these other guys. That could kind of crush Trevian Henderson's fantasy value because he's not the starter. And he's also not involved in the passing game is Anderson. So he's not he's not anywhere close to line-ups right now. If you ask me to think so for the Patriots Romeo dobs gets hurt after laying out for a long, beautiful touchdown catch yesterday. So the Patriots wide receiver injuries continue to pile up. It's AJ Brown and for Thursday night in a good matchup against Chicago, if Romeo dobs is unavailable, well, at least have a conversation about tomorrow, Douglas, who's been great. The Patriots just continue to tap into pop. And he once again was awesome yesterday seven for 86 with a touchdown for pop Douglas. Nothing more to say here other than. Oh, do you have somebody? Well, I just wanted to say before the show we were talking every once in a while, we get lucky on waivers. I this week was in a really desperate spot had to start Jalen Noel and got in the end zone and things said, well, you were in a spot where you had to add pop Douglas in a very deep league. And he sometimes you just get lucky off waivers. And it feels really good that way. That's a BAM night in our dynasty. Yesterday because I lost DJ Moore. I needed an emergency DJ Moore filling at four o'clock like this is after I couldn't add anyone from the early slate. And BAM night gets a BAM night. This is a note from our friend Kyle sopie. The great Kyle sopie researcher extraordinaire Kyle a plus human and has dug this up. He is seeing week five 2006 as the last week in which we did not have a 30 point score. No way Tony. Knab was the top player at 28.3. Are you kidding me? 2000 was week six. Did he say so is same week of the year week five week five. Okay, so about the same time of the calendar. You're 20 years. That's crazy. We got to let this thing rip here. We're on to the saints and the giants and we all get into browns is what we're doing. I can't that's right. My bad Mike Ravens and Browns. Again, another fairly quick one because for the Ravens, it was all bad. By the way, Browns, when this one 13 10 out of Todd Munkin. Yeah, get it done. Tyler Huntly 165 passing arts and a touchdown, which went to Josh Quavis. I'm sorry. Yeah. What fifth round pick at Alabama. I nailed that though. Is that right? Yeah, it was good. I didn't pronounce the Asians. I'm just running. That's right. You know, I just got to run by that's before the show. If they're back to do it, I have to run them by field. That's the that's a roll around here. So Tyler Huntly didn't do much. We talked about this yesterday on FFC, which is that like Tyler Huntly is only throwing more than one passing touchdown again. Twice in his whole career. Of course, he came back to earth with just the one in this one. Save flowers. Did his things six for 66 on 11 targets. Remains a lineup block tight end one no matter who's under center. Mark Andrews does for the second week in a row with Tyler Huntly. He's not worth starting at the moment. By the way, Rashad Bateman left hurt. That probably won't affect fantasy at all. Keep an eye on Jacobi Lane, the rookie who returned from IR and was productive in or was involved in this game. Four for 40, but probably not going to be enough to be a consistent fantasy starter. A rare dud for Derek Henry 17 for 58 had a fumble as well. Only one target in the game. But that's going to happen with Derek Henry. He'll be fine. Nothing to see there anything. I think all I was going to say is I think I think it was a field that said this earlier this year. But they flowers just looks like a different wide receiver. Oh, I got to the next level. Yeah, he clearly looks like he's taken another step forward and just become a much better player. It's been cool to watch him. Even with Tyler Huntly under center, he's just he's great. The Browns. Well, they won, but also bad here. Deshaun Watson 164 passing yard zero touchdowns. Gary Judy at 69 yards guys. No one else got to 40 in this one. That includes Denzel Boston, who a rare letdown game from him. Five targets. Just one catch 15 yards. Harold Fanon, another dud, one for nine on three targets. I'm going to stick with Denzel Boston. The guy is the real deal. He's still a fantasy starter. Fanon very much in that market. Andrews to year, probably a little ahead of Andrews, but more of a fringe top 10 top 12 sort of option at tight end. Certainly not a lineup block. They're running backs. No quench on Judkins. He tried to work out. Surprise. Yeah. Yeah, it was. He worked out. We thought he'd go. He didn't. So that gives us some optimism. They'll play this week. But Julio McLaughlin filled them with the lead back 37 snaps to just 18 for ojric estimate McLaughlin in this one. Nine carries four targets. Estimate had the rushing touchdown, but only nine carries in zero targets. It's a situation to avoid if Judkins is not there. If you have to choose one, it's McLaughlin, but I would avoid it if I can agree there. Well, I'm trying to stop eliminating players. I'm principle. If Dylan Samson is back, it just makes it that much more complicated. So good. I am probably not going to be starting a browns running back, but I also am going to be looking at my scores from this past weekend and saying, am I sure about that? Because there were some absolute disaster classes in this app yesterday. Sure. We're let's talk about Saints and the Giants. We got one of those disaster classes here in this one. Let's start with the Saints, though. Tyler Schuck was not good, but he was also good for less and fantasy, right? Didn't look great. 16 for 30 only 144 yards, but three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. So you appreciate that. Alvin Camera actually had his receiving touchdown was sick. It was very cool. It was like vintage Alvin Camera. We even threw the defense pretty rad. He got banged up, though. Camera did in this one a little bit left for a little while. Kendra Miller came in 20 carries for 70 rushing yards. And then the wide receivers kind of disappointed. To be honest, even though they scored, what was this? 34 points. We didn't really get very many good fantasy like law. They scored late. No one had 45 yards in this game. So it was that side. Four for 43 and a touchdown for Crystal LaVay. But Devon Veile wasn't great. Joanne Johnson with a goose egg. That's not something that you were expecting at the tight end spot with the way that they have been playing, especially if you knew that this team was going to score 34 points. You'd assume there'd be something else there. But I am still in on the Saints. Not really a whole lot has changed Tyler Schuck continues to keep doing after a really tough week last week. Mountsback really nicely with this matchup. On the other side, we're talking about the giants. Two big things happened in this one. Yeah. One, James got benched. And Jay, Jay McCarthy came in. And two, Kames Gadibu played six full snaps. Let's start with Kames Gadibu guys. Kames Gadibu playing six snaps. Is this like I texted this to Mike last night. When you decide that you want to bench somebody in order to like prove a point after a fumble, usually like a guy gets benched for a drive. Yeah, he got benched.
basically for the entire game. I mean, but by like, here's how you can defend the Giants. It's during the first half, Najee Harris, average zero yards per carousel. Congratulations, you guys on this. You made a great point. You handed the keys over to Najee Harris, who was going to fall for like a yard, a carry this season. And Tyrone Tracy, like, shout out to him, like he actually was good yesterday, found the end zone as a receiver, like Tyrone Tracy, a perfectly reasonable change of pace, slash third down back, but Devon Singletary and Najee Harris, like great, you proved a point. You proved a point that you're running game is even more pathetic without Cam Skataboo than it is with Cam Skataboo. And he hasn't been great through the first five weeks of the season. But like a guy who took the NFL by storm last year gave a franchise a fan base, let me into cheer about during a largely forgettable season last year. And you're going to pull the plug on this guy in favor of Najee Harris and Devon Singletary. Congrats. Like congrats. You're three, two, and one. You're in first place in the worst division that I can recall in a long time. Like this giant's offense is going nowhere on the ground right now. But to not play Cam Skataboo more than six snaps, zero touches, like really, like really. We think this accomplished anything. Do you think the Cam Skataboo is all of a sudden I got to never fumble once again because of that one time the giant's had him place six snaps. Like is that an effective methodology here? I guess we'll find out. I want to tell you. Yeah. So you think they did a good job. Yes. Great. It was awesome. Awesome. Yes. Here's what the running backs did. Yeah. I don't trace these six rushes for 18 yards did fall on the ends. Yeah. He was awesome. Yeah. He was awesome. Compare the rest of them. Devon Singletary. Four carries for 14 yards. Najee Harris. Four carries for two yards. Yeah. He averaged 18 inches per carry. That's. So that's combined 34 yards. I believe Skataboo had at least that in every game. The first five weeks of the season. Yes. Great. Right. He was fine. I mean, and say whatever you want about the fumbles. I get it. It's a problem. Najee Harris put the ball on the ground last week as well. Right? Like it just was. And John Harbor after the game. We didn't bench him. We didn't bench him. I mean, it's just game flow. It's like that though. Okay. What do you mean game? Sometimes I want to. Camp Skataboo is like, yeah, I got benched. Coaches should have a punishment wheel when they're just obviously not telling the truth to us. They should have to spin it at the end of their press conference. Oh, wait. It came Skataboo and started the week. I think. Yeah, I did. That's right. I sure did. That's why you said. Oh, no. I mean, listen. I am mad because intimate starts the week, but also like, this was an ass and I in wave approaches. But stupid. Yeah. I think it was really make a lot of sense. And by the way, we're spending time on this and not giving the flowers that we deserve to get. Jim McCarthy. Yeah. He was good in garbosh timing. Oh, no, it was not. It actually became a guy. Yeah, he brought them back. He brought them back. But he was good against a wretched Saints defense. Isaiah likely and the recent replay of Malik neighbors are two of the best stories in fantasy. Unbelievable. Yep. They've been fantastic. Malik neighbors has 35 targets over the last two games two games, who games 12 catches 165 yards in this one. Isaiah likely 11 targets six catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. James Winston got benched. JJ McCarthy came in and absolutely made it a game. He lit them up. Right. Absolutely. That's 43 passing yards in basic and like in all the fourth quarter. Yeah. And only the fourth. It was probably some of the third. Yeah. A lot of it, but still 21 attempts 243 yards. That's a while. I brought it back. I just immediately put McCarthy in the projections for this week. Like I assume they're going to go with it. You have to. Yeah, I have to. After that display. I mean, based on what we saw yesterday, I'm bracing for the Giants to start Jake Caner next week. Yeah. I got to punish JJ, you know. Yeah. He had to have that one interception. Yes. By the way, McCarthy also led them in rushing, which kind of to our, to our point on the running match. Oh my gosh. That's unreal. Yeah, I hope he starts. He looked. I mean, again, he had that interception, but otherwise looked pretty good at it. I mean, he moved the offense. Real talk though. Malik neighbors and Isaiah likely are easily locked in as said it and forget it line up locks for your squad. What do you do if you've got our scatiboo? Are you like shoot? Can I even play him next week? So I was, I mean, I'm trying to figure out a projective for next week. They're using four running backs. So they do that again. I, I do think they will go back to scatiboo as the one A, but I think there's going to be a one B one C and maybe a one D. So I don't want to start him at all, but I would not drop him just yet. I agree on that. And I just said, like, I'm not going to dismiss every player is like, you can't play. I'm going to this ass games. That one right now. Not every him in week seven. Yeah. All right. Let's keep moving on. Cardinals and Rams, guys, did the Cardinals win a game in which they didn't score a touchdown? They did. They had six field goals yesterday, Chad Rylin, the high score on this Cardinals team. The Cardinals beat the Rams 18 to 16. The Cardinals beat the Rams. What year is it? 18 to 16. Is this like the 90s or something or not? Not even acceptable. Not this at the non 18, the non Kerr Warner era Rams against the Cardinals. That sounds more like this. Isn't it an amazing, by the way, and I feel bad doing this to the Cardinals a day after they win a game, which the Rams are the story here. But the Cardinals draft Jeremiah love third overall. They pay, Tyler Alger, it's two years, 13 million dollars. And then bam night comes off the bench and has 80 rushing yards on. That's because I needed a call on him and our dynasty league. I needed him to step up. Damn it. Get out there. We need you. All right. More seriously for our purposes. We warned you, like this is a tough matchup for the pass catchers of Arizona. And that was very much the case. Tramock bride. Joe was all over this yesterday under on the receiving yard. Seven catches for 30. I'm sorry. Seven catches for 53 yards from McBride. Michael Wilson, just four for 32 to who we percent attempted 35 passes, which is like 15 fewer than I expected. That's the Rams. I thought they were going to be blowing them out. The Cardinals still the same guys that matter to us. McBride, Michael Wilson and Jeremiah love. If he is healthy from there, I would say largely pass for the Rams. Dude, what the hell? Two and four for this team. I don't care if Miles Garrett has played like eight snaps for you all year. This is a completely inexcusable game yesterday that might loom large in an NFC playoff picture that has four teams in the NFC North alone that look like they're going to be in the playoff mix as well as two others in the NFC West and Seattle and San Francisco that should be there too. After the game, Garry Williams talking about why the team can't seem to be consistent from one drive to the next. He said probably because they take me out of the game, which is true, but wasn't the case yesterday. He just done it. He had 9.7 fantasy points, but played 71 percent of the snaps. Puka kind of disappointing yesterday. Puka got some stuff late in the game. Six for 80. Puka has now played what? So it's six weeks total. He's played in four missed two if I'm not mistaken. I think that's right. Yeah. Two really good games, two kind of me games for Puka, but six for 80 is a terrible day for him. So if you have him, you're still like, all right, I feel I'm afraid starting him every week. One six for 80 here in week six. Those are the frustrating games. So I guess the problem with Puka is that like, you're not measuring him vis-a-vis like Zay flowers. No, no. He's measuring his March A's and JSN. Yeah. Yeah. And what he's done in the past, I have an expectation. So for Puka, last thing here is Demonte Adams leaves the game and I have not yet seen an update. Me either. I have not. I've played most of this game. He was only seven behind Niko and Rout. So he got hurt. He handed up even at the, I know, but I know, but he was in the game. Oh, I see. You're saying moving forward. I'm just saying as far as I was my, where my brain went was he had three for 39. His lines have not been very good when Niko has been on the field this year. So that's, that gives you a little bit of pause touched in her bust. He kind of pulled up in the end zone, non-contact that didn't look like he hit anybody or anything like that. So definitely something that we will watch just to make sure that we are up on that one. And if it is hamstring, which there's a chance, or whatever it is. Remember, last year, once he got hurt, he came back and he kept saving his season because of his receiving touchdowns, but remember, the Rams really rolled back his playing time. Now, maybe that was because they were actually good and they could afford to think ahead of the playoffs. Now they're in last place in their division. Like they might need everybody to be full tilt for until they get back into the playoff next. Otherwise, sneaky team. Sneaky team. Sneaky team, not a receiver, too. Remember, they were, I mean, this might have been at Adam's expense, but they were in the A.J. Brown sweepstakes and Calvin Ridley, Jerry Judy, and I don't know about Brian Thomas. But if they're, I mean, they're clearly all in. I'm a chef. Yeah, I know. Yeah, I know. But, you know, not, I mean, what's, what's Judy going to cost you? Maybe a six. I got potatoes. Yeah, exactly. So sneaky team to watch. The potatoes. The mic could eat eight bites. Ah. We have the potato chips here. Potato chips. Potatoes and eight bites for Mike. Um, guys, do we have to talk about the chargers anymore? No, no, we don't. It's only the chief's talking about all these chiefs. All right. All right. Let's do that. Let's say I have some notes here. This is my game. Let's start with the chiefs. Ken Walker, the third. Does it a, again, I think we're all collectively kicking ourselves from not ranking him. Top five this year. Uh huh. The dude is crushing it. We knew he had the talent. Seattle. He just never really maximized his skill set and I was worried about that in, again, happening with the chiefs. We shouldn't have been because he's been awesome 19 for 120 and two touchdowns on the ground, not much passing him involvement. We're not going to sweat that because he plays plenty in that one. They need him two for 11 on three targets, played 75% of the snaps. The guy is legit real deal top five fantasy option right now. Uh, patch of moms fantasy dud here, but he played fine 272 through the air didn't throw a touchdown, which is what heard his fantasy day one in reception 16 rushing yards. He'll be fine. He's in the QB one mix going forward. Uh, no rushy rice in this games. Xavier worthy, called all seven targets for 73 yards, who remain, uh, a line up lock as long as for she races. I will see if he can practice last week, uh, yeah. No one else over 53 yards, by the way, in this game. So it was kind of worthy or, uh, bust, uh, a little post script to the J.J. McCarthy and whether he'll start next week. Good call out from our boss Scott Clark. The giants play the Texans next week, then they go on a buy. This might be one of those where do you just play James.
one more week because if you play JJ next week and he struggles, like a quarterback can, not as much this year, but can against Houston, then you come out of the buy and you're playing the flip flop game the entire season. Maybe Jamie steps out there on the field to begin the game next week. And if he struggles, you bring a JJ in and then it's his job after the buy. Yeah. I don't know. Is that a tough matchup though against Houston right now? We don't even know. It could be a cupcake matchup at this point. I think that's still, I know. I know. I'm just I'm excited. It's hard to know what to make of that defense. I'm excited to see what's going to happen in the future. I don't want to talk about it now is not the time to have this conversation on a Monday. But if JJ McCarthy plays really well, the chance are going to have to figure some things out if they still really like Jackson. It's a long way to go. That's a long way off. We don't need to do it now, but it's just out think about. All right. My charger is no is charger stink. Okay. Great. Now let's really quick couple things. Can I quit? If you want, we already moved on to the next game. Super quick. Justin Herbert did nothing to enter for pass yards. No touchdowns. One pick ran a little bit same old Justin Herbert not usable in fantasy. The biggest note here, Lad McConkey left with a concussion after one target. We'll monitor that. The poor guys, what four out of six games have been impacted by injury this season to some extent, either being limited or leaving her. Hopefully they get him right. Get him healthy and get him rolling after they're by the charges running backs. We're useless. Again, they're using three guys pretty evenly at this point. None of them should be near line up at this point. I just, that's all I got. I can put this out there just so that we can have it week one. Lad McConkey sustained a rib injury that obviously heard him moving forward week four. He suffered a foot injury against the Seattle Seahawks for some to leave early week five. He was active. If you remember, but then didn't play a single snap in that game. And then here in week six, he was active and got a concussion. I don't think you can play Lad McConkey. You cannot. Like even if he plays, they have a buy. If he's healthy after the buy from the concussion, I, I'm, I'll start him. All right. I mean, don't line up lock, but startable. If our conclusion on the charges remains that every single guy is not playable, then we need to just stop talking about the charges. Let's talk about the raiders. I'm fine. I mean, like going forward, like every week, it's like I just sit here and wallow in my sorrows about a pathetic disoffensive. They're on a buy. So we don't have to talk about them for a while now unless they fire their off court. Let's talk about bills and raiders. There we go. Josh Allen, guys, I mean, he did some things. It wasn't what we actually wanted from Josh Allen, but he was fine. 255 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. James Cook gets in the end zone as well, 95 rushing yards in this one plus a rushing touchdown. Again, no DJ more in this game. So with that being said, we looked at their pass catcher that stepped up and did some things. It was Keon Coleman in this one. He's probably been the guy that if you had to say, all right, when DJ Moore is out, who's the one that I guess we can maybe throw our, our biggest amount of trust behind. Keon Coleman seems like it's the guy receiving touchdown and three straight games. Dalton, Kincaid almost got in the end zone, but then his touchdown was called back to a penalty, so it didn't really work out there. Bills kind of are exactly what the bills are, though, you know what you're getting with them from a fantasy standpoint. I don't have a whole lot else to add because the bills are the bills. Same with the raiders. Ashton Gentie unfortunately struggled in this one, did get in the end zone. You love to be able to see that Brock Bowers was not utilized early. Like I got nervous first half that he was not going to get very many targets, but four catches in this one at least for Brock wasn't a great game across the board for the raiders. I'm a little nervous about Ashton Gentie and I've been on this train for about a month now is like what I'm worried about is whether or not this foot injury is a problem or not. Gentie says it was the healthiest he's felt all season last week, practices in full all week, no concern on the injury report. The question I have is is he a better runner right now than Mike Washington, Jr. It wasn't yesterday. Wasn't yesterday really hasn't been for this season to the point that I get he's going to have. He's got a real role in the passing game, which keeps his floor up there. But is Mike Washington, Jr. is going to take more carries. There's only three games on the 4 p.m. slate yesterday. I'm sitting there watching that game for a while. I'm like Dylan lobby and Mike Washington, Jr. What's going on? Nothing. There's nothing wrong with Ashton Gentie. He's just not running the football effectively at all. I've been worried about this for a month. I remain concerned and will be until he proves me otherwise. We need him to keep scamming a little with the targets and the touch the occasional touchdowns. That's where you're getting bailed out right now because you're right. Washington double them up and almost double them up in rushing yard yesterday on the same volume. Yes, indeed. Here's what he has done. So just really quickly, 2.3 yards per carry. This is Ashton Gentie, week two, 2.3, week three, 2.9, week four, 3.9. So that was nice. Week five, 2.7 yards per carry, week six, 2.2 yards per carry. Yeah. He's got one game that he's averaged in the last five games that he's averaged over three yards per carry. Either way, you know what's good. Finish your thought for this. The concern coming into the year for me was the offensive line is improved, but is it that improved for Ashton Gentie? By the way, there's things we love and hate about a fantasy football. But you know, it's infuriating when there's a team you're facing in a league that you care about and they're in a tough spot. They have to stream their quarterback and they're looking for desperation receivers because of buys and stuff. And you know, I'm going to stack up Kirk cousins and Trey Tucker and see what happens. And then they do nothing for the first and two and a half quarters. And then suddenly get hit for two touchdowns. Dan Graziano was talking about this on FFC yesterday that he was going to do this against me. Luckily, I got the win. But that was tough to watch in the second half as he slowly started catching back up to me. Oh, you're talking 97 yards and two touchdowns. He does this every year. He has a game like this. Maybe one or two games. Trey Tucker goes off. I was waiting to see the Cowboys catch back up to the Green Bay Packers, but it never happened. It didn't happen. Packers win 2313. This look like it was going to be a game where Green Bay was off to the races early. Jordan love came out. He hits Matthew Golden for a touchdown. Golden, I think dropped to other potential touchdowns last night. I mean, he could have been our 30 point score without breaking a sweat last night. Target players playing the Cowboys. He haven't had a night where Christian Watson has just 64 receiving yards. It's so obvious. This Cowboys team is just so pathetic and so bad offensively that just play them. It's the Eagles next week. So maybe we have less confidence given their offensive injuries and the quarterbacks situation. But if ever there was a time for the Eagles offense to be feeling itself, it would be on Monday night football next week against Dallas. Reminder, we should talk a lot this week. Jacob Josh Jacobs this week. That obviously changes things for this Green Bay backfield. Pierre Strong was the man the backfield last night. It actually looked good. But if Jacobs is back, it's going to be the Josh Jacobs show for the Cowboys. Dak once again, bad last night. And a CD lamb and George Pickens. It's weird when you like two guys both have over 70 receiving yards. You're like, that just feels unsatisfying pedestrian for them. Yeah. Nine for 70 for CD lamb, George Pickens, I think was six for 73, six for 73. Yeah. It's a combined 29 targets, speaking of scamming or spamming them targets. I mean, we'll take that in fantasy. It's hard. It's hard to get. It's like, you can't really get mad at that output. But you sort of can at the same time because of how talented these two players are Mike, one of them mentioned that Jake Ferguson basically got benched last night. Yeah, he did. Breven Span Ford got the start. And I believe ended up out snapping him in this game. Ferguson ran way more routes than him. But we said this earlier in the year, it was a little Ferguson had that two touchdown game or like, be careful. It's not sustainable. He's not going to see enough target volume. And that's been the case. So he's way off the fantasy radar. You can drop drop Jake Ferguson, joke, Farterson, whatever you want to call him. Jake Ferguson. But he can be dropped, yes. His problem is that he just he fumbles the ball more than any tight end in the NFL. It's a real problem. Yeah. And the Cowboys clearly taking notice. Good thing he doesn't play for the Giants. Let's talk about Monday night football, my friends, commanders and 49ers tonight. Anybody projected for 30 fantasy points? No, but we have candidates though. Brock Pertie can get there. CMC can obviously get there. Mike Evans. Mike Evans will play. Yeah. Sounds like you play about whether he would play. He's all banged up. But he's a gamer. Mike Evans. I am down 109.92 to 88.1. I'm the 88.1 team because I'm down to the Miz. I need exactly 21.82 fantasy points from Jaden Daniels to be able to win my first game in the FFC league. By the way, against this guy who has the most points in his team, yeah, it's like a wagon of the worst team and it's not necessarily your fall. You've had an unreal stretch of injuries. You have the worst team. He has the best team for sure. So this would be an awesome. This is my Monday night miracle that I am absolutely hoping for. We need this for content purpose. Yes, we do. Please guys, put all of your energy into Jaden Daniels tonight. If you don't have anyone else going just for me, it would be great. On the other side, let's talk really quickly about 49ers. I just think actually on this game, like for the commanders, the thing I'm most interested in. I don't know if Stefan digs going to play sounds like he probably will. And then on the commanders running back front, who's getting the carries tonight. There is no Bill Croskey married. Are we going to see him? Is it Rashad White, his show tonight? I would imagine it to be a few different guys with him and Rashad. I'm sorry, him and Austin Eccler and Jeremy McNichols. Probably close to not mattering, but I got Rashad White. Yeah, just keep an eye on the injury news 90 minutes before the game with Evans and digs, but we expect them to go in this one. So hopefully if a fallback, if not, we got a couple of questions here from our chat. I think we'll be Brian Thomas Jr. Suggestion. Oh, are they? Let's see. Here we go. Brian Thomas Jr. The Giants for Camp Scataboo guy. Giants are the Chargers. They guys are okay. Gregory Jordan Olsen, BTJ and a fifth to Vegas for Jalen Nailer and a seventh. I don't mind it. I think that the the Jaguars have enough receivers. Yeah, they don't look for stuff elsewhere. Brian Thomas Jr. for DK Metcalf, Audrey. I don't think that they they don't just don't. Jacksonville doesn't need DK. I don't think Steelers are interested. We're going to now. We're talking now. We're talking. Who do you want? Trade from the chiefs to be able to get drafted in your draft capital. What about the Steelers? The Steelers haven't no white receivers. No pit middlely back, Jeremy Bernard's there. Roman Wilson still coming on. Brian Thomas Jr. to Minnesota for Jordan Addison. I have a gear trade there. Interesting. I don't know. I like the soda does that, but I like Addison. If I can do it that way.
LSU-wide receiver. Well, you did put together an LSU fantasy team, right? Yeah, she's not bad. Let me go, bro. Jaden Daniels, you're two quarterbacks. You could start. You've got Justin Jefferson. I think he was from LSU-RJ Jefferson Jefferson. Pretty good. Guys, that was very Jones's desperate. He might trade a couple firsts for Brian Thomas at this point. Just keep adding. He'll acquire any former first round pick. We know that. My guess is if he is traded Brian Thomas Jr. I think it will be traded. I think it'll be probably a pretty uninspiring return. You know what I would love is to be able to see rather than us having new co-hosts. If we wanted to get someone else, we'd have to trade Mike. Do we trade Mike to the Jaguars for Brian Thomas Jr. I would be expensive to acquire though. That's a problem. What do you play for them? Are you for the Jags? That's. What would I do? You would hold the water bottle. The long snapper got hurt last week. Oh, there you go. There's the job. That just played the most snaps ever. J.J. Johnson, yeah. You guys are sickos that you knew the long snapper I was talking about. Very particular set of skills. That's yes you do. All right, thanks for hanging out with us today. Guys have fun watching Monday night football. Come back and hang out with us tomorrow. We're going to dive into everything that is the waiver wire heading into week seven as well as recapping that Monday night game. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself. We deserve it. We'll see you guys tomorrow. See you. [Music]
