Fantasy Football - Week 5 Studs & Duds + Marv Trade Reactions! - Podcast for 10/12
1h 2m 36s
The podcast blends a humorous golf challenge with in-depth fantasy football analysis, focusing on major trade movements, injuries, and player performances. Andy Holloway attempts to hit a hole in one, using statistics to highlight the improbability of success for an average golfer, while the team debates whether such a feat is possible. A major trade sees Marvin Harrison Jr. move from the Cardinals to the Texans, raising questions about fantasy value and team rebuilding. The Cardinals are consistently criticized for poor performance, coaching decisions, and defensive struggles, particularly in critical game moments, such as a failed overtime play where a fumble cost them a win. Injuries plague multiple teams, with Will Shipley, Dave Montgomery, and D.J. Moore sidelined, affecting lineup strategies. Fantasy studs like Jordan Love and Jalen Warren shine, with Love showing elite passing and Warren delivering explosive plays. The team also critiques poor game management, especially Dan Quinn’s failure to spike the ball in overtime, calling it a clear coaching misstep. Despite strong individual performances, the overall narrative emphasizes instability, inconsistency, and the impact of injuries on fantasy success. The hosts use the week’s events to reinforce the unpredictability of the NFL and fantasy football, urging fans to stay flexible in their strategies.
Welcome to the Fantasy Footballer's podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Ride. Welcome in. Oh, what a day it is. Why is this the day that Marv is getting on a plane and flying away? Rather, there's so much happening. It's so much happening. It's a big day. We're recording an hour early. You're going to see this hit your feet. Are we putting it up early? Yeah, of course we are. What do you want to delay it? I know Mike's worried. Mike's like, ah, the people are going to want this every day. No, we could never do this. No, no way. We got a poop in the morning. Yeah, I have a soup. I have an eat breakfast. That's a good start to the show. No, I mean, I have this is the last day of my life, the last moment of my life where I am a person that didn't hit a hole in one. That's all I'm I've been telling you that I can hit a hole in one for what feels like a decade. Yeah. Okay. And in a few hours, here's what's going on. I will be a person that's hit one. It started on the spitballers, which if you haven't listened spitballers podcast, where the idea that Andy could definitely hit a hole in one. I mean, if he was given a day on one hole, he could absolutely sink a hole in one facts. I mean, with facts that you said you could do it. That's right. And far we are factually accurate. And so we have put this to or we are about to put this to the test. We have booked a hole on a golf course. Till 10 p.m. tonight, what did I say? Only God can stop it. And what's happening right now? It is pouring on the course at the moment. But otherwise I would it's going to pass by the time we get there. I think the weather will be nice. And we will Mike and I will be enjoying ourselves. Yes. And you will be you want to enjoy yourself for that long. I'm going to make my prediction. Oh, okay. I'm going to I have 10 hours, right? It's right now. Right down. I think I have 12 hours. 10 to 10. That's 12 hours. 12 hours to hit a hole in one. I want you to write down your prediction of how long it takes him to do it. Don't just put 12 down. I'm not. I swear. Four hours and seven minutes. I'll hit a hole in one. I wrote never. I put 77 hours. I'm straight hitting not just like from now and you sleep during it. You need. I mean, I do there is some mathematical. I do have some odds here. Like I did the analysis this week. And we've got Chris cash our writer. He's a he's a numbers guy. Yeah, he he thought it was possible. Now the odds. I think what did he give you? Like I think probably about the way to I was like 30% of my dad is non here's the thing that people don't understand. When you are an am a regular average golfer, which is exactly what I am. The average handicap is 15. I'm like a 15 16. Oh, man. Are you kidding me? No, I know Jason. I'm so sorry. It's so above average. You are about average. You are I 15 is a dream. You're in the gifted program. But the odds on any random part three for an average golfer is one in 12,500. Okay, per shot. But that's not no, no, the problem is is that number comes from just a random shot on random hole. I'm going to get to apply this incredible brain to the the slopes and the altitudes and the I get to hit it over and over again. I'm going to dial it in. I'm going to dial it in quite easily. Now I'm not going to mention the fact that I was on a driving range the other day and got pretty sore in about 20 minutes. So I'm going to be honest. I'm going to be honest. You don't have to I know I am looking forward to finding out if I'm rooting for you or not. Why? Because I'm like right now. I'm not sure because I want you to make it or not. Oh, because you know how I'll be really. I definitely want him to make it. Oh, you do? Yes. Of course I want to. I want my friends. Yeah, I want to see you out of here. Thank you. I want it to happen. But the point is what we said. The reason this is happening is I would like to sprout wings and fly far, far away. We said he couldn't do it. Well, that's where I'm saying like you want you want to. You're rooting against yourself in a way. They are one of our writers already said after three hours. Good luck grabbing the club. Yep. Not worried. Okay. I have a right hand. I do need breakfast. If you need it. If you want a double glove. I got you. I don't want to be on camera. Double glove in it. Okay. Say that after 200 swings. What's wrong with the double glove? Nothing. Nothing. Just someone just won the PJ tour with double gloves. And I get made fun of. It's just because it's not fashionable. You only have a left handed glove. Okay. You did switch back the only one glove. And I regretted it. You have a why'd you do it? I did it because I thought I was hitting better with one glove. But you were hitting just as much. Just maybe worse. The second glove is helping. Did I just get? Did I just get turned into a blue? Like is the you sure did? Hold on. Go back to that camera. We fix it. No. No, it's no off. Oh, yeah. Cool. Well, we'll go make it just the future. Okay. That's how you see the fantasy football podcast. It is not a golf podcast. We have our Monday, Monday reaction to the weekend. The injury list was insane. Just go into the weekend. We have a Marvin Harrison Jr. trade that broke in the weirdest way possible. We've got news. We've got studs and duds. And we're doing it all right now starting with your reactions to the weekend with a little elegant Monday. Monday. I haven't even seen all of these this morning. It's been a crazy morning. But let's start with Isaiah. Definitely not likely. Definitely. Start of the week or Parker. Wow. Washington. I like that. I'm taking mine. Christian. Hudson. Oh, and I'm taking mine. Matthew. Golden ticket. How about Jalen Warren? Okay. There's a lot of Jesus. Maliki neighbors. Garrett Thrillson. Okay. Mike Evans. All mighty. Boy, he is the weirdest player. Oh, he started. He's great. But you never know his his body is deteriorating. I know. Great. May. And Jaden manuals. Of course. But they weren't all good. We knew this one was coming. Tyler. Yeah. Tyler. What the shuck? Oh, that's the one about Wolt Shipley. No, and Romeo sobs. RJ Hardly. Uh, no, Colston bust land. How about scam? Skataboo. Uh, yeah, we got. Got nothing. Taylor. Chase. Let down. I like. Yeah. We're losing the names here. Um, Omarion. Hamptone. Oh, Jalen. Fraud. Oh, I wanted this quarterback with boom. Next. Yeah. I like that. Justin Herbert cannot be on this list anymore. He. No, because it's not there's nothing. It is what it is. It is what it is. Because when I'm thinking about Bonix, I'm like, man, he is as bad as Justin Herbert has been Justin Herbert. But that's assumed he's got it. Man, well, that division seriously, unstoppable football is freaking hilarious because you have looked at the AFC West was going to be like that is a premier division, right? Are you yet you're saying the way that the Broncos are playing? Yeah, well, I'm saying like, yeah, the Broncos are like the chargers. Okay, chiefs. Yeah, chiefs are like saying like, this is a surprise. And then you got the AFC North where I believe every team is above 500. Yeah, they, I mean, yeah. It is. And then they got the NFC East. Oh, where all four teams played two played each other. No one won. Yeah, no one won. That's incredible. The end of that game. Now I wasn't here with you guys. We've got to talk. I was watching that with my son. I, cams got to be fumbles. Apply you just can't fumble. He would have been the story. First of all rewind a little bit, because you got to go back even further. Because he was not being used. That dude was banned. That was a game. Well, that was a game where it was like if you had been using him, you'd be winning this game. Why is he not been on the field? Then when push cups of shove, they, they, they battle back in there in the game. And they're like, okay, let's, let's put the ball on cams hands. He dominates. He starts. I mean, he was the reason they got into field goal range to win that game. And then he fumbled. It was like, oh God. He fumbles. And then people in charge of this Washington franchise. That is worth. I don't know how many billion dollars. They don't understand how to manage the end. They don't understand how a clock, a clock. If it's running, it just keeps moving. And then like, but there's ways to stop it in that are very defined in the rules. This is they had no idea how to handle this. So what happened real quick if you didn't listen, this game went to overtime in part because cams cataboo fumbled and they couldn't care. Well, that was in the. That was it. Yes. Yes. Before the Giants should have won at that point. The Washington should have won. Washington was in easy field goal range. Yes. They had a minute on the clock. No timeouts. But there's a minute. They were on a play. They got 40 seconds on the game. I mean, this. They taking the world is in their hands to just basically kick a field goal and just clock it. I mean, listen, game time ran out. Yeah. And it ran out. So they're just kind of laxidaisical in the in the huddle, 20 seconds on the clock, 17, 16, 15.
They run a play, Jay and Daniel scrambles and just goes down and then gets up. But so the ball runs when you go down, because didn't throw the ball away. Now listen, Dan Quinn, that was awful. You at least stood in front of a podium. It took full responsibility, you fell down for your team. You took all arrows. You didn't blame your deserve the arrows, but you took them. You stood 100% are you telling me that Lamar Jackson doesn't look at the clock? Then Lamar Jackson doesn't know what's going on in the game. Jay Daniels took no response. And he says it starts at the top down. He's got to be it. Jay Daniels just kept saying I got to be better. Jay Daniels, so you messed up, I got to be better. No, but he was like, we got to be better. I mean, honest to go down, I feel like his press conference was absolutely nonsense. It was brutal uttered the line, like it starts with me or whatever. He said that I want that was the most throwaway nonsense. Like his whole attitude that entire time was skirting blame. It's top that like it's it's other time was appropriate in that game. Both teams should have won and didn't couldn't do it on normal 99% chances to do it. So what what should have happened? Obviously, he should have thrown the ball away. If you watch the wide receivers, the four wide field, yes. That's what the play call should have been. Play call should have just been spiked the ball. You don't have to worry about time on the clock. This is over time. You don't need to get close or you should just you just kick the ball. So Dan Quinn failed because it should have been spiked the ball, take the ball. But the call came in to run the clock down for no reason. It's over time and throw the ball away. It was just crazy. And then he didn't throw the ball away. It was just like he went down a chair hour, like he took a knee. Yeah. Which you look, it made sense to me when I was watching because I assume they had a time out. Yeah. That was that was first half. I know. But I was saying, it's washing. It does happen. Yeah. It was, it was. It was with. Yeah. All right. Let's get into the news. News and notes from around the league. Okay. We've got tons of it. Starting with the trade heard around the world with no destination. We're going back to the dance. Boy, that didn't work out. Did it? No, it's working right now. He's gone. Boy, he's gone. You played that drop when we drafted him and you're playing it when he leaves. The Cardinals first meeting changes over time. Has it been finalized yet this morning because we reported yesterday, Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Texans. Cardinals do get. We didn't think it was possible. But they get a 20, 27 second and a six round pick. Texans get Marvin a seventh. It was rumored to be a 28 second from some team because this was the weirdest trade environment of all time. Where it's like, there's a trade. Yeah. We can't. He's definitely traded. Where is it going? I think I know what happened. It seems like it's obvious and maybe you know something else. It seems like the Texans are like, we're going to do this if we win. Yes. Yes. It's the Titans. Yes. It's the Titans. They beat the Titans. Like, so we're going to win. It's the Titans. But let's hold off just in case. So, Marvin's gone. And the Cardinals, look, at some point, this is, let's translate this into fantasy football. At some point in time, we do, we do dynasty drafts, rookie drafts all the time. And you make a pick and you make a selection like Royce Freeman, Mike, and you make a pick like that. Third round. Stood. And everybody, look, draft capital is proportionate to potential. That is the way the NFL and fantasy players are going to look at it. But you will always, for us time being, believe that a player is going to have the potential to fulfill their draft capital. Yes. Cory Davis will have the potential to fulfill his draft capital just in five years. And, but, but you basically, that's baked into March. Now you need one team after three and a half years to believe that they're the fix for the player that's not separating, not getting targets, not delivering, not catching the football, looking lazy, looking lazy, not caring. Now, some people say he sandbagged the first four games on purpose. This is a plan with his dad to get out of Arizona, which by the way, that would be a great plan. Great plan for all players. If you want to sandbag and get out of Arizona, I don't blame you, but if you did do that, if you did that pretty great job, you looked terrible. Now, I would have thought maybe you'd try to catch the ball the previous three years when it's targeted at you or like a tough catch to win a game, whatever. So in my opinion, Marvin is actually unredeemable as a superstar. I don't think he can do it. I completely agree. As a superstar, there is no chance that the team to look, the Cardinals are a terrible organization and we have ruined plenty of human beings by drafting them before he's out of town and has an opportunity to really revamp his career, has an opportunity to be better. He's going to care more, he's paired with his with CJ Stroud who, you know, he played with in college and so part of it was was genuinely effort and it was mental, the town hated marvel. He was in his head, he's a, you know, the weak little Meowvin Harrison. He has an opportunity to go out and show what he was in college, which was legitimately great. His route running in college is production and college miss pick is what he was supposed to be. And he's he is absolutely not good enough to get it done. Now here's the thing. I am very interested in CJ Stroud rest of season because Marv will help the passing game there. They have no running game to speak up zero. Dave Montgomery is now hurt. It might get better. It could get better. But I think they're going to want, you know, just put five wide and CJ Stroud is going to run this offense, which he's been capable of doing this year so far. It's just why the Cardinals getting a second out of it. Congratulations. Mm hmm. Second from an O and four team. I guess one and four at that point. That's true. Which he's also going down is, you know, his practice window is opened up. So yeah, they're going to try to open it up honest to goodness, CJ Stroud has looked pretty good this year. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Ironic considering their own four. I would have thought if CJ Stroud can just figure it out. This could be a super bowl contending team and CJ Stroud figured it out in their own four or they were the defense. DeMiko Ryan's taking over the defense play, calling shut everything down yesterday. Every single dynasty league is getting more. Yeah. I mean, well, let's get another week under the belt. And every single dynasty league in the world, the question is being had by everyone in the league. Should I try to trade for Marvin Harrison or if you have him, should I be trying to trade Marvin Harrison away? This could be a sell window for him. And it is. I don't think you're going to get superstar to Nico is inf, I mean, infinitely better than he is. But you're going to get targets. This is what I was talking to Jason. We were talking when we were golfing a beautiful golf course. Yeah. 44 over. Uh-huh. Congratulations. Thank you. Thank you. But we were talking about the fact that like, if you just targeted Marvin ten times again in Arizona, you're going to have that he's going to look a lot more like a good receiver. The numbers are going to be okay. He's going to get targets in Houston. That's going to happen. Whether he's worth anything in fantasy, a next to Nico Collins and stuff. I don't know. He will never be to the level of a T Higgins or T Higgins is what I'm saying. Because that's like, he's the, the second wide receiver on the team feels like very good. That's the goal. The goal is, hey, we've got our T Higgins to our Jamar chase and he should go out there. He should catch a ton of touchdowns, which to be fair is the one thing Marvin Harrison has done so far in his career. He's got plenty of touchdowns. So I think they're hoping they get T Higgins. You didn't. Yeah. Cedars Stroud has three top 12 performances already this year. That matches the total from last year. He's looked good. Adding Harrison does not hurt him. Nope. Big news for, you know, despite week one being not that great, this is a Michael Wilson. Like for fantasy football, you know, this is great for Michael Wilson and everybody that's like, oh, man, I guess he needed Marv on the field because Marv was off the field. That was a joke. We had a great tweet. We had a great tweet of like, here's Michael Wilson without Marv on the field and it was a picture of Marv. There's problems in Arizona, though. And we know this. One of the problems is you're going to have a transition to Carson back soon. Two in 15, that's Jacobi Berset's record as a cardinal quarterback. He looks amazing on scripted first drives. Looks like he looks like he looks for the middle two quarters and then when the other, when the defense moves to prevent, you gather a bunch of garbage. Yeah. That's all it is. I mean, if you look at his fourth quarter stats, he's amazing. It is not because he's so clutch. It's got ice in his veins. He's a fourth quarter guy. Six scores. It's because the other team stopped playing. He's playing against backups or prevent it's buns. The cardinals are now moving to the, we grew up in Arizona and they're now moving to the level that they were when I grew up, which is Garrison Hurst, Thomas Jones. Players we drafted that were absolute booty here left to have near Hall of Fame careers. They are a disgrace and you know, it's a gift for us in Arizona for them to make headlines because then we get to talk about how horrible ownership is and this team now we get to see how we ruined Jeremiah Love, which it seems like we're doing. All right. All signs point towards Caleb Williams returning in week six as quarterback of the bears. That's probably good. He looks good in like pregame warmups. DJ Moore. Yeah. He is questionable with the shoulder for tonight's game. I didn't have football. Josh Palmer ruled out.
D.J. Moore is actually going to go in this one, but he's always at a re-entry risk and leaving early risk. Yeah. If you had D.J. Moore and Keon Coleman, who are you starting tonight? That's a great question. I actually think if D.J. Moore is active, I would still start him. D.J. Moore. I would. I think I'm on the other side. That's fine. Yeah. I don't blame you. I feel like if you needed five points, guaranteed, I'd start Keon Coleman. Yeah. But if you needed 25, I might try D.J. Moore out. It's really tough. I mean, D.J. He played through this injury, right? He got injured. Here's what's funny. He got injured a week two. Came back in week three right off the bat. 10 targets, six for 67 had a very good game and then got injured last week. So it's either you can get 10 targets or he can reactivate and Keon Coleman. Yeah. It's not an easy one to know because we just don't know how severe it is. Let's take a quick break and get into more news. injuries were the story going into the week. A bunch of tough situations where guys were coming back from injury, playing through injury. Ashton Gentie being one of them. That didn't work out. Trabion Henderson left early with a right ankle injury, did not return. You we started this game thinking it was going to be him with no Ramondra and the Ramondra is active and he got hurt and Ramondra scored before he got hurt. It is annoying. Dave and Montgomery left early with a groin injury. They say it's going to miss multiple weeks. Butterfly stretch me. Will Shipley left early with a foot injury multiple weeks due to a partial tear of his plantar fascia. That's painful. Will Shipley. He's gone. Damien Pierce is now the soul running back. Yes he is. That team has been devastating. Oh, the end of that game, the, there were three games this week that seemed like they were over for the other team that, I mean, giving up a monster kick or turn to my guy. It was a mere of two express that guy's career just keeps going. I know. He settled into what he is. Yeah. The commentators in that game literally were talking about the Eagles victory. They were talking about what this means for the rest of the season for the Eagles, how the morale of the team that has been so bad now is uplifted. They came. They battled through. They got a W whatever. Sarah Morale was not uplifted and their head coach is my fault. That's what he said. And it was Will Shipley, though, missing time. Roman Wilson expected to miss a couple of weeks after leaving early with a finger injury. If you look at the box score, a couple of things for Pittsburgh. One, Roger's playing great. He is playing great football, too. DKMF sucks. Yeah, he does. Three. Bad football. Pittman and Wilson are gone. As is. Yeah, so listen, Jeremy Bernard is going to be a huge pick up this week. I already picked him up in a couple of weeks as I just I didn't believe necessarily that the Roman Wilson 30% snap count would be the most repeatable situation. The Mewve got super luth also viable. When more of these guys go down, Roger's is a he's a trust man. You listen to him talk about Jalen Warren yesterday. If you would like to hear. I would trust Jalen Warren as well. If you want to talk. He's very good. He's not the most positive dude. But if you want to hear him like say nice things about somebody go listen to him talk about Jalen Warren for 10 minutes. He's not playing that great. I know he's playing wonderful. He is not. No, I've watched these games. He's looking great. I thought he's looking. He's he is looked okay. But like this last week, he had 235 yards and three touchdowns. That's amazing for fans. It's great. But like he had an 80 yard dump off screen that Jalen Warren took to the house three weeks in a row with three touchdowns. I get it. I just feel like. Top 10 quarterback for three weeks. I watched these games. All right. 71% completion yesterday. He plays against Tampa Bay this week. Great matchup. Are you starting Aaron Rodgers Andy? And let's find out on that. One, I started him this week in a league and one because of you. Congratulations. Am I starting him in Tampa Bay after Tampa's defense played the way they did last week? No, I'm going to find somebody other than Aaron Rodgers. But what I do in the future is not what he's done in the last three weeks, which is play great. I mean, you're talking about a 4,651 touchdown season over the last three weeks. I think that's pretty good. I completely agree that his results have been awesome. I mean, he hadn't thrown for that many yards. I mean, he hadn't thrown for that many yards in like five years, Jay. And he's thrown for that many yards in three straight weeks. Yeah. You're basically holding a dump off against him. I remember watching like he can't accumulate yards and touchdowns the rest of that drive. I just if he doesn't run down as I watch that game. I remember it's turning to Mike and be like, man, people are going to like. So you wanted to stand up against him? It was just I think that how some of this is happening is, I mean, hey, if it happens every week, great. I'm just not going to I'm not going to buy into it continuing. He has looked much better than last year. That's true. He's they're going down the field. They're actually attacking and that could be a McCarthy change. I would get it started and played him in a league ever last year under any circumstance. And he was a spot star for me this week. And it worked out. Quenchon Judkins was seen with them in in a boot. Yeah. With his right ankle. So we're going to be talking big time. Um, we're going to be talking big time waiver. That was the and that was the ankle that was the massive injury last year. I don't I don't know if that has an effect on it like, you know, a re-aggravation but sucks that it's that one. Yeah. Casey conception on brutal hit left with a concussion. Diego left with a hamstring the weirdest injury. It looked like it was a concussion. The way it was. Let go of the ball. On the way to the ground. I know is a hamstring. Genuinely. It didn't seem like a hamstring. It didn't seem like he didn't reach for anything. It looked like he got hit with a with a sleeping dart that you couldn't see and he just. Maybe hamstrings hurt more now. Exactly three darts too much. Ray Harris the dude the last remaining wide receiver for the chargers his went down with a hamstring and was almost uninvolved before that. It was a lot of like Gadsden and the running backs and I mean, I am the shame this week. And part of that is because my green goblin was that Justin Herbert in a game that I knew you'd have to pass a bunch would throw for 149 yards. He was under a hundred. I'm not sure if that's where he finished. Okay. Yeah. The last drive. Their next four games are on the road against the chiefs on the road against the Rams at home against the Texans and then on the road against Baltimore at the best they could win one of those four games. So you at best would be one and eight. Correct. I mean, I don't think our boss is going to stick around. He's going to melt into the concrete. He can't handle losing like this. E.G. Hawkinson concussion. Kenyansadee concussion. Michael Pinnix left with the rib injury and they left with an out. I'll have to get the rib injury laughing at the fact that two of comes in for like to what two plays and throws a just disgusting game ending interception. Unsurprisingly. I mean, impressive. Very unserious. Very unserious. What we all knew was coming. Yeah. And you saw the face that was on the sideline of Michael Pinnix as he's walking under the field with the game ending. And it was the same face that he had right behind him on the sideline early in the preseason. This guy is not a pro quarterback. Can we talk about some studs? Yes, please. This week's fantasy stud muffins. We're back. We're good. Hey, we figured it out. He's so good. There are also three and two now. Drake May 39.5 fantasy point. Which this is. Which how do you feel about this? You dropped him two weeks ago. You feel good? What would I say when I dropped him that he's going to have a real career resurgence. Somebody can pick him up now because he's about to blow up. Who's your quarterback now? Jordan love at the moment. Oh, that worked out. Yeah, that's it. Jayden Daniels. This is great. This is great. James Winston. Jordan love. We need good quarterback play. It's kind of fun to dunk on the guy who was so great last year. You're like, well, I was just, just, we need Drake May to be good. So this was, this was a, a few, like, just what if you're four, I'd like, thank goodness. The Mario Douglas had two touchdowns from him. You know, you don't have Mac Collins right now. Dobbs, he didn't, didn't get it done. No, because my dude, Kyle Williams, AJ Brown, I think, well, it'll be so good in this offense. But we're still weeks away. They've got two games quick, I think in the next like 10 days and so he won't be part of either of those. He might be back after that though. Yes, I agree. And I think the second half of the season will be good for him. That's a trade for target. Jay Daniels got it down with the rushing yard is nine for one, oh, three, honestly, I didn't think he looked, I thought he looked okay as a passer, but I thought the rushing totals man. If you get anything like that, that's my, my, uh, price fix line was 30 and a half. I tripped. Mike and I were both like, like all the conversation. Yeah. He's coming back. He's got a brace on the elbow. The, the doctor's out there saying it's not a matter of if it's win. He re-enters the elbow. Yeah. And then they came out and said, we're going to protect him and he's not going to run the football. So when you made that pick, Mike and I were like, thank you. Spoiler alert. And we were super wrong. When Jackson Dart comes back, he's going to run because it's just that's, that is who they are. Jared Goff had two, seventy one and three with a rushing touchdown. Jason star of the week. And he could have had as many as he wanted. Yeah. The Cardinals are so unbelievably bad at the events. I was thinking about this on the drive in. How great would it be if you spent your entire life? You are an offensive player. It doesn't matter if you're skill position, you're an offensive lineman, whatever.
and you get to the NFL and then you get to have a day against the Cardinals. You just get to play against like a JV team. Yeah, I was like, that'd be so fun. I get to play against a JV team that can't possibly stop anything we do. They have two good defensive players and one went down in this game. Buddha. Arvelries. Oh, oh no, we got a running back. That's okay. That's right. That's who we drive. We can't talk about the Cardinals anymore. Winston was hilarious because Winston played maybe the worst first half of football I've ever seen. I mean, just abysmal. And then he ends up with 326 and three and targets Malignator's 20 times. So amazing. Jordan Love was pretty much perfect. Unbelievable. And I'll tell you what, I said this to Mike watching this game. I feel like the few they figured it out. The rest of the league needs to watch this game and be like, oh, okay. So just throw it deep every single play against the Bears. Like the Bears defense has looked really good the last couple of weeks. Apparently they found their weakness. And it's all he did. It was just, I kept joking after. Even Tucker Pratt had it like a 49 year. I kept joking. This was beforehand. So the joke kept working great watching the game. I was like, every time Jordan Love draws back, he just goes, hey, check this out. And then he just kept doing it. Watch it. Hey, check this out. Boom. All the way down. I mean, it was just like, and they didn't always work. But it was like, I feel like he had 10 shots in a row. There's like, he checked us out 40 yards. It's not that different from what Joe Burrow has success doing, which is if you have really good wide receivers like Christian Wonson and Matthew Golden who high point balls and come down with contested catches like T Higgins and Jamar Chase. If you chuck it, it works out a lot. What do you get? They don't have a lot of defenders down there. They've got one or two defenders down there. It just, it was a great game. It was really awesome. He looks so good. And I will say this, they're martial and Lloyd. Yeah, Mike and I were like, you, you got to think about it. Boomsticks. They're one. They're often some line looked significantly better, which coincides with, they made transactions, right? They added more people off the street to their roster. They have tried to revamp this offensive line. It looked better. I think the passing game for Jordan Love and, and the Packers is it's getting me hot and bothered wrestling. Well, I, and look, I, it's going to be a slow burn, but Tucker Kraus is going to get better and better and better. He had a big play down the field finally, but the coming back from an injury, man, you need some weeks. It was fun. It was fun to watch. We get Dallas. Holy cow. Hey, check this out. That's all he's going to do next week. It's going to be so much fun. Oh, Jack, check this out. Oh, man. Look, it's going to finish like a 22 yards for attempt. Yeah. He was so good. Do you copy, Brissette? If you order back facing the Lions, he was so bad with the stinkiest. Oh, yeah. Oh, he was so bad. Cardinals. Well, this is the problem I have with the Michael Wilson, McBride, any of that. Carson Beck will become the starter at some point. Yeah, he will. And Carson Beck might be a better quarterback at some point than Brissette, but he's not going to throw for as many yards. Touchdowns. They're going to do something more, but how to how slash why would they not start him next week? Well, the quote from look, I don't, and I don't actually get this. What is the downside at this point? Nothing. You get to figure out if you have a quarterback. The season is toast. No. So here it's toast. You're lying to themselves. If they were like, we're going to, we're going to battle back in the NFC West. The actual truth is you have a first time brand new head coach. His entire world is trying to win. He is not playing for a future of a Cardinals franchise three years from now. Yes, he is. Well, of course, he got a huge deal. A long deal. No, no, no. I'm not saying he doesn't care about the Cardinals three years from now. He is, he wants to win. He is disgusted with how they're playing. His goal is to win right now. And at the podium, what he talked about was he said, I have too many things to fix to worry, like Jacobi Brissette isn't one of them. He's got to fix a defense. That's idiotic, though. It's a defense. He's got to fix so many other things, but he thinks Jacobi Brissette is, is not the problem. And he is. He's part of it. Everything is the problem. Yeah, I know. But look, play your quarterbacks against the lines. That's the head headline here. Yeah. Brissette, QB six. Bryce Young was QB five against them. Geno was QB three. He hasn't looked like a QB three against anybody else. Josh Allen was QB one. Shock was QB four. Play against the lines. That's Stafford. Nick's deck. The next three weeks. I'm not playing both Nick's. Oh, I will. I will absolutely. Oh, sorry. That's the Cardinals schedule. Oh. Yeah. If our mix does play against them in two weeks, okay. Right. Rogers. Oh, look at Rogers in the studs. Three weeks in a row with 22 fantasy points. He only did that three times all of last year. Trevor Lawrence. Only because of his stats, though. He only do his stats. Only the outcome of the stats. Yeah. That's a good point, Mike. When you get the ball around the goal line, you can throw a goal line touchdown and you can throw a screen for 80 yards. You're really good. Wait. Did you just say throwing a goal line touched out as a bad thing? I'm just saying. He. This is so weird, Jason. I'm going to go rewatch the tape. I mean, if you three weeks, three touchdowns a week playing good football, Malik Willis ends up on this list because the bangles decided to give up two garbage town time touchdowns and a bunch of rushing yards to him at the end of the game, but they were also great defense to play. Oh, dude. Target mind everywhere. We were looking at the Cardinals schedule, talking about Target, the Lions. Now I'm looking at the Lions schedule so we can actually know who they're playing. Yeah. They go to buy. Unfortunately, but then after that, it's the Packers. You tell me Jordan Love gets back and then they check this out. Yeah. That's awesome. The running backs. He deserves a break. Doesn't need Jameer Gibbs. And he got stuffed on the goal line twice and lost the touchdown, 35.2 fantasy points. They go to buy. He is unstoppable. He did say he wants to, he has the most touchdowns before 25 years old in NFL history. He says he wants to break L T's or L T 32 touchdown record. I personally want him to break that you find that funny back there out. Yeah. B's on Robins. I just love the guy. He is for the man. For the dude. B's on Robinson is the best running back in the NFL. I believe he looks outstanding and unfathomably good. He's been so good for, for fantasy football and it, it's not close between him and Gibbs. It's not even like, like Gibbs for fantasy is doing what L T like for those of us old enough who've played fantasy long enough to remember the L T year or years, that's what, that's where we are with Gibbs. Jalen Warren was number two on the week was unstoppable. Bucky Irving. Number three on the week. Nice. Love that guy. Henry. Whoo. 20 fantasy points. It's not getting what they're receiving. Yeah. And Braylon Allen with 18.1, a late touchdown, brought it over the top. Like I said, the line's going to the by week. Jalen Warren though, has turned into a monster and there's no, you know, I know Rico got hurt. We are now at the point of, of confidence with Aaron Rogers, loving Jalen Warren. He's been slippery. He never goes down on the first touch, which it, the, the Rico news is they said he was very close to playing this week. So I would fully expect him back. It should just stay the Jalen Warren. It should. It should. Six for me. It's not going to. Yeah. I don't know. They don't think it's going to. No, I don't think it's going to. I think that the coach is going to want to involve Rico. I completely am on the other side. Yeah. Okay. I told Mike. I don't know. Three quarters of the way through. Obviously, we watched very different games here for the Steelers, but I, I was just like chasing it. I did. I was like, Jalen Warren feels like that guy where everyone who has him in, in leagues every year, this happens like you're undefeated or you're one of the best in the leagues. You're one of the highest scoring teams because you had an unexpected fantasy superstar. And you're going to make the playoffs. And then he's not going to be what he was now at that point. I mean, that's, look, I agree the fact he won't get 97% of snaps. That's not going to happen. He, I mean, he should, he's so dog on. He will get. He will get the majority. That 80 yard reception is like, oh, that's cool for Aaron Rodgers. He also had a 101 rushing or it's like every four or five plays. He just, no one tackles him and he breaks out of the pile and runs. Let's worry, man. It's so good. But I do think when we fish like he is, I guess my point is if and, and you know, obviously Andy, you would be on the other side based on how good he's been. And if he gets the work, you should be on the other side. To me, I feel like he's a trade high candidate. If I can actually maximize, if I can get someone who's like, I need a superstar running back because that's what he is looked like recently. I would try to cap. I think part of it is the fact that like if Rico had been playing well in his two games, I would, I would be in a different opinion. He was like two carry. Yeah. I mean, he was garbage. But wasn't Warren bad during the time that like, yeah, neither of them was getting it done. Aaron Jones, Ramandre, CMC Swift, Martian Lloyd with the two touchdowns. If you could unload Martian Lloyd on two touchdowns, that could be a moment for you. The CMC utilization was obnoxious. He pretty much like it was very low almost all his work, all his fancy production was first half. And like he was 11, he had 11 carries, he had a rushing touchdown and he had three targets. And this was a team that they were, they were losing wide receivers on basically every single play. And McCaffer only got three targets. It was, it was really weird. Um, yeah, yeah, it was DeAndre Swift, only 43 rushing yards. They were not in a position to run the football at all. They were down and down big. We'll take another quick break and jump into white outs. Christian Watson. Oh, that guy Parker Washington, Malik neighbors, George Pickens, Mike Evans, your top five
at the position this week's eight target six for one forty three and two for Watson. He has been a reliable deep ball player for his entire career. And now he's healthy. And he also had one of the catches of the week. I mean, one of his bomb touchdowns, which he had to was incredible. I didn't really even understand like watching it live. I was like, where did the ball go? He just must a guy went over caught it off of his back and he's he's been fantastic. The upcoming schedule as we just said for Jordan love. We're fearless and Detroit. I mean, literally those are number one and number two in whichever order you want of teams you'd like want to face, right? Well, in what's crazy is so Watson is continuing his barrage of touchdowns. He has two top 10 finishes in the last three weeks. You know, who else does Matthew Golden? Yeah, two top 10 finishes. Golden's on pace for 81 for 1350 and seven. Yeah, he's just hiding in the shadow of Watson doing pretty much the same stuff. He's doing the same stuff. He just not catching the touchdowns. Yeah, which is I think that's how it will be. It's a big part of it. Yeah. I mean, Christian Watson scored an all but one game this year. But both those guys have been, I mean, look, the consolidation of targets. Now, like I said, craft was involved again. It's looking good for the receivers there in the matchups coming up. Parker Washington made two incredible quet catches in this game. The last one was unbelievable. Six for one, 24 and two. You love to see it. And then 20 targets from a league neighbor. Oh, it's only 11 catches because it's Winston. That's all right. But 11 for one, 21 and one. He still has the second most the last two weeks. Neighbors first in routes run, first in targets, first in receiving yards, second in receptions, and second in receiving touchdowns. So he's, he was sore and, you know, we were worried about it, but seems like he's okay. Yeah, that was a game where at one point, I was pretty sure they were going to pull Winston. Like he was playing so poorly. I was like, we're going to see JJ. Well, they kept pulling Winston for a play at a time. It was so weird. Dude, what is their plan? What is the plan? Get that deck cards because it's Matt Nagy. Okay. He, you are right. Yeah. Let's bring it. Let's bring in nine. We're going to trade. We're going to, we need some quarterback help. Let's go get JJ McCarthy. We'll be the night. Let's go get. Yes. He was sitting in the rain because he knew what was about to happen to him with a hoodie on. He, so they trade for a project quarterback. And then their plan, what they got to get him work is we're going to get him in and we're just going to run trick plays with him where he's running the ball so he can get exploded. Yeah, it was your backup quarterback. This is your plan. Well, they don't want to explode their starter. I mean, that makes sense. Man, how are you doing? Matt Nagy is a joke, but it's fun right now that the, that the giants can listen, listen. Syriani, Dan Quinn, Matt Nagy. Yeah. These guys are not that much smarter than us. No, I'd be a coach. To be a coach, you just have to put on the uniform. You just have to like, that's such a disrespectful thing to the good coaches, put the bad one. Yeah. The bad one thinks, too, the bad one's just keep getting job. I would have spiked that ball. That's all I'm saying. First of all, I would have spiked that ball. Yeah. Because the clock was running out. You see, put the Madden kid in. I know. Good Lord, people. I would, it's the Madden kid would be dominant in late game situations. We know how to manage a clock. Man, Dan Quinn's reaction to the video, the hanging his headset off its slamming into the ground was delicious. It just, I mean, it really, it really, really was not his fault. It was not Dan Quinn's fault. I mean, yeah, yeah. It was part of his fault. You calling a spike, the play is a spike. But he's not the play collar. He's not, he's not even an offensive guy. Like, you are the head coach. You're 100% responsible. You can always override your own. Of course, you can be like, spike it here. Of course you can. But at the same time, you don't in that situation, assume that you would need to say that to the offensive court here in the NFL. You don't need to go like, you know, you step the ball and spike it like, of course, like, I don't know, man. Mike Evans was awesome again. Seven for one, 13 and one and always hurt. Also had the funniest moment of all time when he checked the back of Dick Jersey. Which was amazing. But every time he would catch the ball and stand up, his face was like, yeah, this man is in agony. If you play his plan, the Mario Douglas two touchdowns for the Patriots. Kyle Williams wide open three for 91 and one. I, I had to pivot off of the Marv price picks. Kyle Williams was like, I was typing it in as my pivot. And I switched it to like a stupid bone melting one. Yeah. And I should have stuck with Kyle Williams. JSN great as always, Garrett Wilson. Jamo started the week, baby. That felt real bad when he was like, the Cardinals, it's funny. The Cardinals made the lines go three and out three consecutive lines. It was the first time since 2016 or something, the Cardinals had any, like, stop somebody three straight times. And then it was all wheels up. Jamo almost had a third one, two touchdowns in this one. That was the story for him. Tied ends Isaiah likely Brock Bowers who is unstoppable. Brock Bowers is going to be on so many championship rosters. It's hard to imagine. I guess the only real. He's great. The only real fear there is what happened at the end of that game, which you remember, right? It was not on the team team Raiders this week. I did not think it was going to happen. And it didn't in a big way. Mendoza took over. And so later in the season, if things start to go sour for them, that's your risk with Bowers. But firemuth, I think he's a pick up because of the injuries on the wide receiver core for the Steelers. Tyler Warren was 18 points and Sam Laporta has been unbelievable. Laporta was my start of the week as well. But every week, he is just, it's really hard to account for the Lions, skill players, Almanra, Jameson Williams and in Gibbs. And every week, Laporta is just a play here, play there, fakes a block, breaks into the wide open. I mean, did you realize this is the best, the, this is statistically the best offense through five weeks for the Lions in history. Yeah. So the blob fish. Now he got to play against his old team. Yeah. But putting up 45 against us. He probably was very happy. That helped. Congratulations. Yeah. All right. Tremick Bride with the beastly touchdown at the end of that game. And Jason, who's the other guy from Arizona that scored twice? Tegan. What's the last name? Tegan. I don't know. I heard of this guy and no one. Do you know it? Keter. Keter. Riano. But he should have looked into that. Yeah. I don't know. I was trying to. I got two touchdowns. No, I definitely know. All right. Let's talk to trade. Yeah. I just can't. Yeah. I just asked me tomorrow. Just out of curiosity. Statistically, would you say he played well? That guy? Oh, yeah. Okay. Just making sure. All right. Duds. Hooped in his big boy pants. They're. They're really look. You knew. You knew. We knew this one. You knew the match. It was bad. But there's there's a difference between bad matchup and scoring one fantasy point. Correct. And Tyler Schuck went 16 for 25 for 96. If you had a lava, it killed you, Johansson, it killed you. Everybody. It killed you. No one should have been starting him. Thankfully, I think most people didn't. We have been the most pro. Schuck. Yes. Pot around and and we Sunday live. Absolutely not. I am read that third bullet point. We wrote under there. Yeah. So Schuck's pressure rate since losing their left tackle. 49% of 50% which is on. No, tender back. No one plays good with pressure. Tom Brady will not survive this. No. But this was also the Minnesota Viking defense. And I I saw stat. So it's so funny to me. And obviously, we aren't as smart as these. The guys in charge. So Brian, Brian Flores, his defense has been unbelievable. He's he's blitzing on over 70% of plays, which is outrageously high. Number one in the NFL. This week, there was a point in the game where he was blitzing on over 90% of plays. And it got me thinking. What about 100% why don't we just blitz more NFL? Like I know I get like Drew breeze going to beat the blitzies. But it's like, okay, but we're talking all about Brian Flores's defense. It's like what a mastermind. What I'm at is like, he's just blitzing. Well, there's a lot to it. Like the DBS, you have to have clamp DBS. Yes, you do. You also have to like, the blitzes come out of confusing coverages. If you watch that game, there are multiple plays where guys are hand in players off. You don't know who's coming. He could that's his his defense is confusion. You confuse his young quarterbacks, old quarterbacks, all of them, but a young quarterback, especially doesn't they've never seen this before. And so yeah, he's just masterful. He's probably the best assistant out there right now. It's my one, any team favorite team. My favorite team to be on by is Minnesota because you don't want it to affect the field. It's just it ruins fantasy. The Vikings are absolute shut down. Yeah, that's that's a fair point. It ruins everything. Dak first bad game for rock party after he took the lead for MVP voting. Through through an ugly pick in this one, two touchdowns, only 189 yards. So yeah, I you know, Dak was Dak was fine. He just had the two picks. Bonix, I whiffed on that one. I thought it would be good against LA. He was not good. It's not Jason, you made this comment like maybe it wasn't Davis Webb problem. Maybe it's not play calling. Yeah, it seems like it's a bone X problem. He's
looked flat out terrible. He's playing against Seattle this this week. I feel like both of the Broncos and the chargers, like, I'm just done. Yeah, projecting any sort of success. This is why I've been like, I've not been happening in Waddle because they don't know what's going to happen any week. They will definitely have games where you're like, Oh, that was the jail in Waddle week. That was sweet. I hope you played him that week. Um, for those two rosters, I'm just like, so through through, I'm going to just, I don't care. I'm not going to play those guys through five weeks, jail in Waddle is the wide receiver 36. He's been startable basically one week. He is getting forgiven. Like Herber is just completely. I mean, he's broken. The chargers are broken. Everyone is done with them. I don't think people are done with the Broncos yet, but they are just as bad on offense. They're getting, they're being forgiven because they're three and two. They're winning games. They'll only losses that they have is against the 49ers and the, and the chiefs, both on the road. Did you hear the petition? The league is doing. They're actually considering removing all victories against the chargers for all teams. That would be freaking awesome for us. Cardinal fans. Yeah. That's how bad. That's how bad the chargers are. The cardinals beat you. Handedly like beat the crap out of you. Running back does chase Brown. Yeah. Jeremiah love 12 for 22 looked awful. Tyler Algier didn't help at all. Cam scataboo looked awful until about three plays of overtime. That's kind of a weird scary one as well. I don't know if it's coming off of injury. Those three plays look great. He was late in the game. This is a rainy game where they talked about like the before the game. It was he's going to get a ton of workload. And I don't know what happened. Obviously, he fumbled at the end, but he wasn't pre. They didn't know that was going to happen. It seemed like he was benched or injured or something. I kept asking Mike. I was searching social media. We were searching and searching. He didn't play forever. And then he see his John Dagle posting the R.B. Share since Najee was active. I haven't seen it. It's gone from 70% to 66 to 57. So it's gone down every week. It was wild. I, when he got back in the game, I was like, Oh, no. Because the hope was he was injured because otherwise they were choosing to not use me. He basically won them the game, then lost them the game because the fumbles going to come back. I mean, that is not a good look. Camaro was terrible. I'm already in Hampton, 14 for 33. The highlight play of that game was Camani Videl. Hampton was actually bad. He was bad. The utilization is worse. I can, you can point to the 14 carries and be like, OK, this is his worst game. He led the team. He led the team in rushing attempts by a good margin, but snap wise utilization wise, he is, I mean, I said it last week. This three way time shares not going away. At least while McDaniel still has a job. It's leading them to lots of. Oh, wait. Yeah, it's not working. It's not because you can't really, I was going to say you can't really argue for Hampton on a 14 for 33 week. No. R.J. Harvey, Mike. You finally got in. I abandoned my boy. You did. I abandoned my son. This is the first 86. I hate him. This is why you have the Bronx. You have been so. I abandoned my boy. So pro dog. It's no one. I hate R.J. Harvey has been more anti R.J. Harvey than I waved the flag. I said, fine. This is what we're doing. And he got one target. After 10 targets, no one done with this seven rushing attempts to three. I will support every day. Dobbs in the shadows. Yes. I just believe I always love him. Chris Olave, four for 46. This was a shock problem. It's always a Minnesota problem. Yeah. It was a Minnesota problem. Odunze and burden, both on the Dodds list. They couldn't figure out dude. The quarterback position is a agent. So we're going to finally figure out what the bear's office is any week now. Just give me a couple more weeks together. The data. Water five targets to for 19. I just, I would try to trade water because you don't know when you can play him. Yeah. That's the problem. And he's a big name. So you might sell somebody on him. Michael Wilson, seven targets, four for 30. That one made no sense. There were some comments about now. You'll get to enjoy being the sacrificial X in the offense. But it was really just, you know, he had seven targets. I think he's going to be a bit worse. That's not good. I think Michael Wilson for the most part will be great because the targets will be there. But the fact that this is a possibility for percent to look that bad for the cardinals to be that bad. Two weeks rams in the Denver, I mean, those are not, not easy. But after that, how do that you get Dallas? But that's two weeks, man. Yeah. DK Maccalf, three catches for 12 yards and also fumble. I watched two of the catches. You know what they were. Two catches were back to back place, screen right screen left. So line of scrimmage passes. They just wanted to remind him. Other than that, he had one catch for like five yards in a fumble. You think that losing, you know, Roman Wilson and Michael Pittman would benefit him. But trust levels are low. Josh Downs, it's not been happening. It sucks. So Jeremy Bernard, I didn't realize. Yeah. I knew he had a good game, but like the yards, he led the team in targets. Yeah. He had a great game. And he's a big pick up. Oh no. I didn't even see the stat line for Carnell take. Yeah, it was terrible. But I mean, cam ward. Oh, he saw is watching the press conference of cam ward afterwards the guys asking the questions. They're a little bit rude asking him, you know, so are you used to losing now? You know, whatever, you don't have to be mean like that. If you're going to be mean, just be mean, you don't got to veil this thing. Come in to the to the to the press conference to be like, how do you respond? Exactly, Mike. I want someone to do that. Cam ward. I think you suck. What do you think? Like just go ahead and say the truth. But also he is. He stinks. Uh, Carnell Tate had a pretty open touchdown that he was missed on. Uh, on one of his five targets, but six yards on. There's a, there's a reliable unreliable scale here. And right now, Carnell Tate, Jalen Waddle, any of the wider series for the bears, DK met cap, they're all in the unreliable category. Dobbs apparently is too with one catch in a game. Dobbs got a cool touchdown. I watched it number 87 for the packers. Yeah. Oh, it's like I refuse to believe that's not Dobbs. Um, lad Maconkey never play. But he was active. What was funny? I didn't play. We heard and I reported he was going to be an active. Absolutely. Cause he was. Thank you. Now all the, all the talk was he was, he was not going to be active. And then it turns out they had to have like enough players active because they have lost so many. I mean, we make a lot about the 49ers losing players because they've got a substation, but the chargers have been dead. They're offense. They have nobody left. They're offensive line. They're wide receiver core. I mean, Tray Harris was the wide receiver one. He got hurt. Yeah. He was and Tray Harris was their wide receiver three. Yeah. Now you're out of options. They're doomed. They are doomed. Like doomed is the, it's, it's an appropriate word for them doomed. And they're really doomed because they have Justin Herbert. They're, they're going to have a pick where you could maybe look at replacing them. They're going to be like, no way. Well, I don't think it's, I mean, oh, I almost said the line. The famous Herbert line that I don't think it's this problem. But when you don't have, you don't have your center. You don't have both your tackles. You don't have five wide receivers. You don't have your top two tight ends. Yeah. It's not, it's not really Herbert's fault alone. It's everything. It's, it, it is. And he doesn't need to be replaced. No, he doesn't. You, if Jeremiah Smith joins that team and a new head coach and a new offense coordinator, you can believe again. It's so tough because he is not a bad quarterback. And it feels so stupid. Those are definitely pretty bad. It's a, it's a, it's a snowball effect right now where he is playing terrible football, trying to help a team that has no hope that is doomed. I saw, I saw a comment from charge or good friend of the show, Paul charging it. He was like, how much money would the chargers have to pay for the Vikings to take the rest of this contract? I would be 1000% and if you said Justin Herbert, to the Minnesota Vikings, that's it. Yeah. Yeah. That was insane. They'd win the Super Bowl. Well, or, or the curse travels because he is a cursed man. And yeah, speaking of curses, Colson Loveland, two for 19 target share by week. Not good. No. Is this just going to be a whiff? Or are we waiting for this Caleb return to save us? I, I am very not happy. That is the wrong word. But just like, I accept it. This is a massive loss of, I thought Loveland was going to be it very, very wrong. By the end of the year, we could have some sort of redemption tour. But it's like, I'm not saying, I'm not, I'm not tripling down saying go trade for him. It's going to happen. There's players that are, are still bad right now. That I would, I'll be like, nope, I'm still in. I'm still in. The question that everybody who drafted him has is like, do I drop him? Do I, do I, do I, can I drop him? It's so hard to imagine. I personally would not drop him because I'm not playing him because there's no Caleb. Yeah. When we had Caleb, it feels like a lot of excuses, but
it's, it's tough. If you're, if you're the, if you are the manager of Colston, Loveland, I mean, Elijah Higgins has more points than him on the year. Nate Adkins. What about that guy that you pronounce for the Cardinals? That might be more. Probably. Uh, George Kittle, Fanon and John Johnson, Johnson with the Minnesota game, Fanon. That one's unfortunate. And then Kittle just helped down game. Fanon was, like, that was a real sloppy rainy game that the Jets Browns. Yeah. And, and, and Kittle, uh, it came out, like right before the game that he was very ill. We had another member of the, uh, the armed services. Oh, Major, Major Sickness showed up. Al said he's in the same battalion as Major Sornis. Yeah. General Sornis. Oh, General Sornis. That's right. She was a major sickness or general sickness. I don't, I don't remember. No, it was major. It was major sickness. Yeah. So we got general Sornis and major sickness. I haven't been in the armed forces. Uh, is major, majors or generals, generals, generals at the top. No, I know. I can't wait to find out about Lieutenant, you know, Lieutenant ankle or something. Yeah. Try again. Um, got to be more generic. Yeah. I mean, this is a whole, this is a whole quarter of operations here. But, uh, that is going to do it for today's episode. Waiver show tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the first day I do a show as somebody that's hit a hole in one, which is like, it's just exciting to think about tomorrow. Well, my attitude will be you are going to be on this microphone. Here's the intro. Are you ready? Oh, welcome. It's probably you're going to be so sore from two hours of hitting before I hit my home. I don't know why we get sore for that. Um, we got a fantasy draft redo on Wednesday. That'll be fun. And we'll preview the Thursday night game then. But Waiver day tomorrow. It's a big day.
