We are talking some running backs to buy and sell, also throwing some quarterbacks in here as well. This is our typical trade show that we do every week in season. Erickson, we are splitting this, just so the listeners know. Last week, this was one. Episode this week, this is going to be split into two episodes. It will be running backs and quarterbacks is one episode. Wide receivers and tight ends is the other episode. Erickson, how are you doing here through week two now of the NFL season? I wish my fantasy teams were healthier. I think that we all can admit that. Where you look up this week, apparently, it's the last week when week one, points galore, man. Everyone was scoring so many fantasy points. There weren't nearly as many injuries. And this week, man, the matchups, just like scrolling through my fantasy teams. It was brutal, man. You saw teams winning with like 70 points scored, 75 points scored total because there were just so many low outputs from a lot of these offenses that was tied to the injuries. And I think that bearing the lead here with what happened on Monday Night Football, exactly that, the New York Giants, I think they're going to lose Jackson Dart on the first quarter on their first possession. He takes a hit to the knee, doesn't get play for the rest of the game. Now, we got reports afterwards that confirmed that he has a sprained MCL and that it's not considered season ending or anything like that, which is really, really good. But, dude, the MCL is still something that's really, really tricky. And when you look at how effective Dart is as a rusher, the fact that he now has a sprained knee ligament is really, really concerning, especially with how bad Jameis Winston, who looked last night, like he looked nothing like the Jameis Winston that is the YOLO ball guy. 11 of 27 for 111 yards and a pick. The Giants basically could do nothing offensively. They were gifted a red zone possession after Kyron Williams fumbled and they couldn't even punch it in for a touchdown. So Malik Neighbors also got banged up in this game, suffered this like arm shoulder injury where he was getting looked at on the sideline. Looked like he was in a lot of pain. I'm not sure if it's like his shoulder like got knocked out of the socket and they'd like pop it back in or something like that. So, just a really bad game overall from the Giants. Really, unless Cam Scadaboo was getting the ball, they didn't really do a lot. Isaiah likely target leader for the Giants, but way more inefficient than he was in week one when he was basically perfect with Jackson Dart as his quarterback. So those are some takeaways from the Giants side from Monday night. Yeah, I feel like if you're looking at this game as a whole, the micro level takeaway, the short term takeaway is the injuries to the Giants. The macro level takeaway is the Rams seem to be okay. Now they were going, they were going up against a team with their backup quarterback and, you know, missing their best receiver at a certain point in the game and all that stuff. So, you know, take it with a grain of salt, but there was some degree of, Hey, are the Rams maybe not all that in a bag of chips? Like we thought they were going to be over the summer. And, and they looked a lot more like the team we kind of expected going up against a team that had looked very good in week one itself in the Giants. You know, obviously like you kind of hit on these injuries on the Giants side, but you know, the Rams like Devante Adams, the big, the biggest story, obviously eight catches, 195 yards, two touchdowns looking like prime Devante and Terrence Ferguson, a guy that I talked about all summer long on the dynasty show with fits and then started to talk about on the redraft shows. By the time we got to August as a player that I really liked as a late round tight end, my absolutely my favorite late round tight end this season. And he went six catches, 54 yards and a touchdown after a poor week one Stafford looking a lot more like his MVP self, right? 327 yards, four touchdowns, uh, Kyron Williams gets in the end zone. Thankfully, thankfully through the air. Cause he didn't on the ground. Like he usually does, but he and Blake Corum just continue to be like the same player. Basically 12 carries 85 yards for Kyron, 12 carries 79 yards for Blake Corum. So yeah, the Rams winning 28 to six, like definitely felt like more of what we expected to see out of the Rams. Even if this was maybe a lighter opponent than we expected going into the night Erickson. Yeah. Devante Adams when Puka is out is just a total turbo smash of a play. And I was not high on Adams entering the season, but in the back of my mind, this was always the worst case scenario when Puka Nakua was forced to miss time, whether it's injury or suspension. I knew that I was totally screwed in games where Devante Adams is going to play in the featured wide receiver one role. So did layer on some touchdown bets for Devante Adams. Cause I knew that I was going to get absolutely cooked, um, in terms of fantasy rankings with Devante Adams. Although I did rank him pretty high this week because there was that late news about Puka Nakua not playing. And this is usually what we get when Adams is put into that role happened last year when Puka Nakua missed a game, I think against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London and Adam score three touchdowns and that game. So we shall see a team like Puka was at least close to playing in this game. I know that he downgraded to out as the week progressed, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be a long-term thing. We'll see what happens with Puka. Obviously Adams is a top five fantasy wide receiver top three. He's up there. If Puka is going to miss time and Ferguson, I would even say, he left some production on the table last night. There were a couple of drops for him where he had open space to run. Stafford hit him on a really quick pass where he just basically wasn't ready for the ball to get there. But I do think that it is a positive trend for him that with Puka out, they invited more opportunities for their young second year tight end. And for the most part, he did deliver again. There's always going to be growing pains with some of these younger players, but the fact that they put him into a larger role playing 59% of the snaps still behind Kobe Parkinson in terms of total snaps plays, but in terms of the routes targets, it was very obvious that they were trying to get their tight end more involved. And he is kind of like their de facto wide receiver three on this team, which is there's no two to at well, or these other guys really getting a lot of action because those guys aren't special in any way. Like Ferguson, at least has another element and dynamism that he can add to this Rams passing attack. Now, when they also get back Puka Nakua. So the Kyron thing and Blake Corum thing is also so just, it's so crazy, man. Like both the guys just absolutely smashed Kyron. Gets the touchdowns in the past game work, but Corum is a little bit more explosive, even though in this game, they were both just like rip it off big runs against this giant Steve. I made the joke on X, which people didn't like. It was like Blake shot out of a Corum, you know, I think the phrase like, like shot out of a cat shot out of a cannon, but I like that. Yeah, I didn't do that. Okay. And then I guess I just logged off after then. So it's not your all time best, but I did like it. Not my best work, but yeah, I mean, both these Rams running backs, they're splitting your eyes, but they're, they both look great. And they're both scoring fantasy points. So you just keep starting them until proven otherwise. Yeah. In any week where Puka is not playing, where are you ranking Terrence Ferguson? Cause I, I feel like this is proof of concept of like when either receiver, Devante Adams is older. Puka has all his stuff going on. If either of those guys is ever not in a game, I feel like it is very clear Ferguson. Like this is what I expected it to look like in terms of target share in those types of scenarios. Devante Adams, 10 targets, Terrence Ferguson, nine, targets, nobody else more than two. That is what I would have expected before the season as somebody who was projecting this Ferguson breakout. So to see it play out that way, even though Ferguson did leave some of that production on the table, like you said, is obviously highly encouraging. So in any game where one of Devante or Puka is not on the field in that week, like it's, you can't, it's hard to say for a rest of season ranking what you're doing with Ferguson, because you just don't know how many games are going to have one of those guys out. But in those games, when they happen week to week, where are you? I think you'll be ranking Ferguson amongst tight ends, probably top 15 tight end, at least if I don't think that's aggressive enough. My, I was going to say like top 10, honestly, if one of those twos out in any of those weeks, I think it'll look a lot more like this low end fantasy tight end one. Yeah, that's probably the right range for him. Obviously it's going to depend on the week and certain matchups, but when you just look ahead at the schedule for the Rams and just correct me if I'm wrong here, where I'm trying to make sure I have the right matchups week three, they're playing at the Denver Broncos. So that's, that's on the road. You look at where the strengths of this Denver Broncos defense, it's in their secondary, right? They have a really, a lot of talented cornerbacks. If Puka is out in this game, you have Devante locking up with Sertan. Like that's obviously going to happen. And that leaves Terrence Ferguson against some of these other defensive backs and linebackers where he can be a mismatch. So Terrence Ferguson, definitely if he's floating out on waivers, if maybe he got dropped out for week one, cause he didn't do a lot, this was obviously a step in the right direction. And yeah, there's more, there's more meat on the bone here with Terrence Ferguson. So you're right. Yeah. Probably like a fringe fantasy tight end one in the weekly rankings of Puka or Adams miss any more time. Yeah. I'm looking at the names that are in the, that range right now in terms of the rest of season rankings. It's like Travis Kelsey. How's he going to hold up over a full season at his age? Harold Fanta Jr. Major quarterback question marks. I'd say likely maybe we'll have some, you know, quarterback question marks here this year. If Dart misses time, Kittle's older too. Jawan Johnson and Dalton Schultz we like in their own ways, but, but there's, you know, it's like, there's superstars. So like, those are the guys guys who are ranked nine through 13 in the tight end rankings i think terrence ferguson easily belongs at or near the top of that group of names in weeks where puka's out so definitely the the upside shot play with ferguson because of what he can do from a skill set perspective i think just his talent profile is so different than someone like adult and schultz where schultz is a compiler like that's what he's going to do he's going to just get a bunch of targets not necessarily going to be super dynamic with those targets i know last week he obviously had a career game but so much of that came with in the fourth quarter when the texans had no shot left in the game and cj stroud threw the ball 55 times that is not usually what they're going to want to do on a week-to-week basis so that is a very inflated total so again terrence ferguson dalton schultz that could be an interesting uh trade potential let's jump into the show here erickson our week three buys and sells for running backs and quarterbacks as a reminder to everybody uh as always uh these are not buy lows and sell highs they could be but they also might be buy highs and sell lows it is just a buy and a sell because i think there's all sorts of names that you want to be looking at trade wise not just guys who are buying low and selling high that's my weekly reminder there uh before we jump into the actual running backs though erickson some trade strategy advice anything high level you're thinking about as we enter week three similar to last week when we talked about targeting teams that are dealing with injuries whether it was aj browns a flowers and then as the week progressed nico collins was another player that missed time well now even more managers are dealing with injuries in their league so if you are one of the lucky managers who has a healthier roster i think that this is a really good week to send trade offers to teams that have glaring holes in their roster that are probably debating do i make a trade or do i try to run out the clock here with depth on my roster and i always find that it's more beneficial to try to be aggressive here with you and i think that's a really good week to make trades because people are trying to make moves and even if you do like the depth on your team i think right now is an opportunity where you can make some two-for-one trades where hey i have this really talented elite player and that's usually what helps separate you the most in fantasy but if you are just so beaten down by the injuries and you can't put out a starting roster that feels good enough to compete then i think that makes more sense to take one of your best assets and redistribute that into multiple starters so i'm always on the side that you want the best player to be and i'm always on the side that you want the best player to be and i'm in the deal but in certain situations if your overall roster is going to get better and you're getting multiple starters i will be willing to trade off a more premier piece to get more startable assets if my team has just been bludgeoned with injuries are you thinking about this in the context of a specific position at all or just kind of across the board this is the strategy you're taking kind of across the board honestly i know this past week right i have a dynasty team with aj brown with nico collins was a flowers and they were all out so i had to start my death it's a little bit different in dynasty so i had guys like ontavian wicks i had rashad bateman i had jayden reed so a couple of those plays ended up working out for me but you may not be as lucky in your redraft league especially if it's a deeper format 12 team league or 14 team league where these waiver wire wide receivers that we've been talking about maybe not aren't maybe they aren't available to you and you really need to make a trade whether you have a parker washington or christian watson like those two guys in particular getting a lot of questions about like do i sell high i'm going to sell high i'm going to sell high i'm going to get on those players and obviously i don't want to sell those players because i like both of them entering draft season and they've been big hits through the first two weeks of the season parker washington looks like a top eight fantasy wide receiver rest of the season christian watson is going to see concentrated targets with jayden reed on the shelf for a little bit him and matthew golden are just eating up in this packers offense but if you are dying at running back and you have a flurry of receivers because you're getting production from watson and washington because after them in rounds five or six then yeah i think you've got to make a move for a position of need based on the injuries that you're potentially dealing with those guys washington and watson are both inside my top 18 rest of season like if i'm sitting down and actually like thinking out who i want i'm a i just i i believed in them during draft season i've seen nothing to stop believing in them you mentioned like the target share is going to get even more concentrated in green bay especially and parker washington just looks awesome like i know there's a lot of really but there there aren't 18 that i want more than those two guys rest of season you know where i have parker washington rest of season rankings uh i don't know stop my head it was pretty high when i was looking at consensus earlier so i'm curious where you have where is he rest of season watch receiver eight oh my god dude he has a 35 target share for the first two weeks of the season i'm i'm not arguing it it's like you know it's crazy that it's like we're already here but we're already here dude like we have arrived some of the names in the like ahead of him right he's 14th in consensus and it's like neighbors is ahead of him got injury stuff and quarterback questions zay flowers is ahead of him if he comes back healthy that will probably look correct but if you know who knows what the hamstring lingers question marks around those guys in his range and it's like do you have any reservations about parker washington and the answer is like no you're right it's crazy how quickly we have gotten to that point uh all right let's jump into the actual running backs we're talking about here erickson we've each got a running back to buy we'll start with yours who do you got please don't throw up any liquid that you're potentially drinking while listening to this program or watching this show but i'm gonna name a cleveland browns player here quinch on judkins and i was by far one of the biggest faders of quinch on judkins during draft season didn't want any part of him because he's plays on the browns bad offense bad offensive line and the first two matchups of the season i thought were really bad spots for him playing on the road against jacksonville playing on the road at tampa bay and i was not surprised that he struggled in sports the last two weeks judkins was my state of the week in both of those matchups and he did not deliver especially as a rusher but the conversation has changed a little bit here heading into week three part of the reason i like judkins as a cheap buy is because his stock is way way down after two games that he did not play well in i think that the managers are having buyers remorse about man i took this guy in the fourth round i'm excited about a second year running back what's happening here and he's disappointed but i think that's really due to the matchups i really think that's why he has been so poor with his offensive line still trying to gel but now where does he go they're going back home to play the carolina panthers defense that two weeks ago just got absolutely destroyed by the chicago bears run game other thing that works in judkins favor and this was the reason i didn't like him as much in draft season was i had question marks about him as a receiver well that's no longer in question because dylan samson is no longer part of the equation in the browns back because he was put on injured reserve after week one so his workload has been steady for the first couple weeks of the season he's had 12 carries obviously the yardage has not been there but the target share went up significantly from week one to week two going up from 8.7 week one 16.7 in week two five catches for 27 yards on five targets so you're looking at a three down bell cow workhorse played 67 of the snaps last week and you can buy him dirt cheap against the carolina panthers defense at home so i think that he's a sneaky buy again can't guarantee he's going to be super successful all year long but right now if you're hurting that running back and you need a stopgap option i think judkins especially as a player i think is pretty talented i think he's a sharp player to buy on the cheap this is right the buy low category right i talked about the top of the show how like we could do by highs and any sort of you know direction we want to take this this one obviously and he's coming off two games where he's got 24 carries for a combined 54 yards like this is this is you are looking to buy low um man i don't know like emotionally it feels really tough to say like go out and invest in a brown um especially since they got the win meaning like deshaun watson maybe has a little more leash here like that's that is tough to um sort of rubber stamp that from an emotional perspective it makes sense the case of what you're laying out for why you would be interested in um i'm glad you called him like a sneaky buy as opposed to like you know a screaming buy where you're really trying to to heavily convince people to do it he's ranked outside the top 24 running backs right now in the consensus rest of season rankings he's dressed outside he's already 25 um it's funny because he's a player that i didn't really like in draft season like nfl draft season i mean when he entered the nfl and then he impressed me really early and i felt like okay i was wrong he like is a good running back and then now obviously a slow start to the season but tough matchups in a season like again he's rb 25 i get it given what he's looked like so far and the continuing offensive environment question marks but also a good player you think there's brighter days ahead where's the right spot for him yeah i think that the rb2 range makes sense for him i'm trying to check right now where i had him in my rest of season running back rankings because you know moves i'm thinking about making because unfortunately i have a lot of teams that have guys like jonathan i have guys like marshawn lloyd i have so those teams i look at judkins as he's like an immediate upgrade from those types of players where you have a hole in your rb2 slot yeah judkins is not the sexiest name but i have an rb24 so i think that's pretty spot on let me ask you this would you rather have the gross committee of the new orleans saints with travis achan or would you rather have quinch on judkins who at least yeah offense we're not excited about but you know he's going to get the bell cow like you know he's going to get the volume whereas achan dude they've been third and long because he's the best pass protector on the team and he was a free agent rookie running back like i don't know what the saints are doing so that's a deal you can definitely get done easy a chan travis a chan for judkins when so again like that's an example and i have them back to back in my rest of season rankings so that's something that i would maybe consider especially if i am hurting an rb2 with bro or something like that i think i would just break the tie with the saints of the better team and so i'd rather have a chan it obviously has been quite gross i mean he did get seven catches in week one so maybe the pass catching will be there more in future weeks unlike in week two they just they paid him so much i'm like how are they not using a chan i think he's a decent player and again it's a good team so i i think i i lean a chan but i don't feel good about it i think it's totally fair to go for judges with bill broski merit you they're five spots apart in consensus i don't i don't think you if it were a negotiation involving me i i don't think you could i would want a little bit more but i think with the right person like i think it's worth asking i i think i think for the right manager again this is also contextual i think in your league it could totally happen i i think that's on the table yeah and and then too again pointing out that needs are going to be the biggest thing that you're going to have to do is you're going to have to be the biggest thing that move trades roster needs and it's very easy to tell especially with all the injuries what managers need what so a potential wide receiver for running back trade could also be a better avenue to be successful with a judkins trade let me give you my running back to buy here erickson it's bruce hall and i'm going to be talking about this a bit more in the wide receivers show which again i hope everybody checks out since we're splitting these shows in two but the schedule for the jets is something i'm very interested in particularly in the next two weeks at detroit at chicago we know detroit course field of the nfl you love to say it we know chicago i mean this last week with the terrible weather aside is likely to have one of the worst defenses in football so that's a really appealing couple of weeks and then even beyond that erickson for the jets after detroit and chicago the next two weeks it's cleveland but on the road for cleveland which we know the defense doesn't travel as well at new england particularly in the next two weeks and then even beyond that erickson for the jets after defense and then miami and las vegas that's through week eight and then even beyond that buffalo's in week 10 they're a much better offense than a defense they get miami again in week 12 the chargers defense hasn't looked that good that's week 11 you know uh denver has been run on run on all over and at least one of their games this season that might have been more of a kenneth walker stat than a denver stat but that's on the list here too i just think it's a and the jets are functional right like we didn't know that they would be this year i'm not saying they're great i'm not saying they're a playoff team but they look functional which which a i didn't really expect and b was not what they were last year and race hall is a great enough talent to take advantage of being in a functional offense so far this season and i did a show a short form with tara roberts yesterday and she had this phrase that i'm gonna you know lift from her because i think it was really good she said that what we've seen so far from breeze hall is the floor and i think it's really good and i think it's really good and i think it's really good and that's that's what she is is viewing him as and i think that we can see more ceiling going forward and um she actually let me to be clear she was saying that about garrett wilson but we talked about it in terms of all the jets as kind of seeing their floor in terms of the fantasy output so far and there's more ceiling to go i don't want to say that she was talking about breeze because it was garrett wilson but we we had that conversation about all the jets there and i think it applies to both of them uh he's been rb 12 and rb 13 in the first two games this season that rb 13 is because he has the pass catching ability as well five catches on five targets for 63 yards to help lift that floor so i think he's an rb2 right now uh price wise he's rb 17 in consensus rest of season but i think he's going to have closer to an rb1 output rest of the season i like him as i'll call it a buy medium right to do that all being a mega by jets players in general am i beyond the waiver article for week three which will be out when you guys are listening to this i sign off the jets section with dare i say buy all jets start your engines are we gonna land this plane because dude the schedule is so amazing this makes gino smith like a legitimate quarterback streamer if you've been hurting at quarterback you've dealt with some injuries or something along those lines yeah you're missing caleb williams dude gino smith next couple weeks dude this guy could absolutely cook given the matchup that they have upcoming and you hit the nail on the head with breeze hall he failed as a rusher last week but because he's super dynamic and he has a three down skill set he made up for it as a receiver so game script proof i think is so key with some of these running backs here where it doesn't matter if the jets are getting blown out the jets are destroying another team breeze hall is going to and yeah the occasional braylon allen rushing touchdown vulture is going to happen that happens to a lot of running backs but yeah i could not agree more definitely you brought the more exciting running back to the table here of goodbye i think by far than my gross bylo quinchot deadkins play some of the names that are around breeze hall that i would rather have breeze hall then david montgomery is ranked very closely rest of season rankings camp scataboo is three spots behind the rest of season rankings bashal tootin obviously can be an exciting player but he's he's in that range i'd rather have breeze hall i think i'd rather have breeze hall than jeremiah love who's two spots ahead of hall in the rest of season rankings just given the respective situations and and who i expect to be in at least more competitive games throughout the season even if arizona has been you know they had the impressive week one um i would still rather have kyron who's back to back with with breeze hall in rest of season rankings i think that's too low on kyron um deandre swift i would consider like he's he's rb 14 halls rb 17 i can consider trading swift for hall if i had to make that choice especially with caleb williams stuff going on um the one that i i would go really back and forth on is bucky they're back to back in rest of season rankings bucky ever versus breeze hall i think i would prefer hall but i i wouldn't fight somebody who wants to say i think the i think the bucks have had just a weird first two weeks of the season and bucky has looked good and that offense is going to get better and he's getting the usage and this will look better going forward like i i wouldn't fight anybody who wants to make that point on bucky who's also getting a ton of past game usage but like hall versus all those other names i read who are all within the same range as him in the consensus rest of season rankings like i'd rather have hall pretty clearly i think i you know at least for most of them no he's goodbye and uh i think that he as a trade target will come up when i do my top running back to sell as a potential player you can get back before we get to those running backs to sell both of our running backs to sell today so give me the first one you want to talk about yeah so i'm going to talk about or marion hampton because i have some concerns about the chargers offense the chargers backfield and i think it's really worth discussing especially with hampton being a player we actually talked about last week where you talked about him as a buy and i think that we kind of dove into some of the futures for this chargers team obviously expect them to have back-to-back duds offensively although hampton was actually one of the main bright spots of the chargers offense last week at least if you look at like the box score, like almost rushed for a hundred yards, he had 23 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown. He got more targets than he did in week one, two targets, two catches for 21 yards. He actually had a couple of calls back in terms of rushing production. So his true rushing line was actually 25 carries, 105 yards. Um, if you include those plays that were removed by penalties. So the workload has been there for O'Marion Hampton through two weeks. He has been a clear cut RB one, his volume actually increased in week two compared to week one, where it wasn't nearly as much. However, I do have concerns about the way that this schedule is kind of shaping up for the chargers. Now they get Buffalo this week. That's a good matchup on paper, especially if Ed Oliver doesn't play, we know the bills can be run on, but after that, and this was something that we talked about in the tailgate show, the chargers just have a brutal schedule, like rest of the season, like weeks one and two were supposed to be their layup spots where they were supposed to just absolutely truck stick these opposing games. And that was hardly what we've seen from them. Now you also layer in the injuries that are continuing to pile up on this team. So during the preseason, they lost Tyler Biotis, their starting center. They have now just put their two other tight ends that play a big role in the run game, especially Charlie Kolar. He's on injured reserve, David and Joku. He's on injured reserve. So what happens to these heavy personnel sets where you're creating more lanes for the run game? Do those cease to exist now? And it's Mike McDaniel offense that has really not been awesome. The first two weeks of the season, they also put one of their starting guards, not on injured reserve, but he's going to miss some time with an injury as well. So the interior offensive line injuries are piling up. Joe Walt in particular has not played like the guy that was healthy last year. Rashawn Slater still stud, but these injuries on the offensive line are piling up. And our Marion Hampton, the eye test is the guy is just looking for contact. Like I don't see him going out and bursting off these big explosive plays. It's just him like trying to find the nearest defender and like truck stick that guy. And then, fall forward. I'm not trying to bury O'Marion Hampton, but I just don't know if this is going to last for him favorably. When you look at the injuries on the line, the schedule coming up and the fact that the past game usage has really not been there. So through two games, Hampton ranks 40th among running backs in routes run, which is the same as Keaton Mitchell. No running back with a 60% or higher snap share has worse receiving usage than O'Marion Hampton does through two games. So for all of these reasons, I feel like he's a player that coming off a pretty, pretty strong game. I get the vibes around the charters are not super high, but I think you can still get something decent for him. Even if it's a little bit like 80 cents on the dollar where I just kind of want to wipe myself clean potentially of Hampton. When I see a lot of flaws in his projection for the rest of the season. And there's a lot of good running back then. We just talked about a guy like Brees hall, right? I get that his offense isn't nearly as exciting, but you just talked about how Tara outlined the floor for the jets. We're starting to see a ceiling potentially with their schedule coming up. What if it's the opposite? With the charges where it's like, oh, this is actually potentially like how good it might get, at least from a Hampton perspective and against tougher teams, what's it going to look like then? And that's where I get concerned about a player like Hampton, who I think still has like the draft capital attached to him. Cause he was like a high second round pick. I still think you can get a lot for him. So that's my take on Hampton. I know that you talked about him as a buy last week. Do you still feel the same about him after this week? Again, he had a good game in the box score. So I'm interested to see what you have to say. Cause again, I have like Hampton two coming into the season. I thought the two weeks of the year, we're going to be really good. Good for him. Not as impressed as I thought it was going to be. So I was kind of prepared for week three to come along and think, okay, Hampton, are we buying or selling? And I feel like I'm a little bit more on the sell side, especially when you have the juicy matchup of Buffalo coming up that you can really use to get, get a strong return. It's a great question because fundamentally, I don't want to be some barring like an injury or some sort of like huge change in circumstances. I don't want Speaker 2 : To be somebody who on the show one week says, I think this guy's a buy. And then literally seven days later says, no, no, he's a sell. Like, I don't want to be just that react. That feels reactionary. Having said that, I definitely feel more nervous than I did despite the big game in the bar. I mean, he was RB six this week and I, and I feel worse about it. The lack of passing game usage is tough. And that is like, we just talked about with Brees hall, like that sort of in Bucky thing really does lift your floor and ceiling as a, as a running back with the nature of fantasy scoring. If he doesn't have that with just two targets throughout the season to start two weeks in, they need to be winning games for him to be having a chance here again. I know he had 94 yards at a touchdown this week and they lost, but generally speaking, if he's not getting past game usage, they need to be up in these games for him to really hit it big as a fantasy running back. And boy, I don't know when are they going to be leading these games? With that schedule. I mean, you talk about how tough it is. Buffalo, Seattle, Denver, Kansas city, the Rams, Houston, and Baltimore is their next seven games. Like that's tough, man. And later on in the season, they're going to get Kansas city again, San Francisco, who's looks really good while they're healthy right now. Tampa Bay is usually very good against the run. I mean, new England's defense isn't, but I just don't know when they're winning all these games, frankly. And I don't, I don't want to write off a team after two games. I don't want to write off a two weeks. I don't want to write off a guy that I said, you know, was touting as a buy one week later, but I agree the, the, the production we've seen added all up and it's been fine, but the, the profile hasn't. And the projection for the future doesn't feel very fine to me. So I think for me, he is probably more of a hold than a sell, but I, he is not a buy for me anymore. I don't think I've, I've totally done the one 80 and gotten them all the way to sell, but I I'm totally comfortable moving him from buy into hold range. And you're just kind of hoping and praying, honestly, because I, I may this, this charge, I, I wouldn't say there's a 0% chance they turn it around. I don't think they're there. It looks good right now, but it's a non-zero chance that this offense maybe does like, Hey, it just took a few weeks. It's a new offense coordinator. Herbert's still getting more comfortable there. You know, all it starts playing better and boom, maybe not off to the races, but we, they look a lot more competent and fantasy friendly in the coming weeks. And maybe the fact that their defense isn't very good. And I think they're going to be trailing in these games. We'll just simply force them to throw to Hampton more like that. I could, we can hope on that. Right. So I, I think there's a world where the offense does look better going forward, but I don't think the team's record is going to start looking much better going forward. And I do think ultimately that will just kneecap a Marian Hampton's fantasy value. But one thing too, and I can't believe I didn't mention this when I was digging the grave for a Marian Hampton. He's fumbled back to back games, lost fumbles. And we know, we know a Harbaugh is not going to like that. Like that's the thing that scares me the most is I would like to, and to your point, but not in one jump ship one week after, but a lot of the equation has changed. I mean, they lost offensive lineman. They lost their two starting tight ends and they didn't. And they laid another egg, right? Like part of the reason you were talking about buying Hampton was because yeah, they're going to bounce back against the Raiders and he did. Hampton did have a good game. So he technically, you were right. He was an improved asset, but now, it's like, okay, like I don't, I don't feel nearly as good about him. Rest of the season. You've got the bills match up here, which should still be a good spot. So if you can't get anything for Hampton strongly, I think that to your point, you, he still can be a hold, but man, like it's, it's tough when you look at the rest of the season schedule for the chargers. And if they don't get it together, then he's a player that I feel like you're going to be starting him every week because you have to, and he's hurting you more than helping you make a difference. Listen, I said this, you know, there's a non-zero chance that they kick it into high gear. There's also a non-zero chance that we look back and say, this was the best selling opportunity for Hampton all season coming off of 94 yards and a touchdown. I hope that's not the case, but that's, that's a possibility. All right, Erickson, who's your other running back to sell? I'm going to go with your Corey Krosky merit running back for the Washington commanders, also known as bill. I am concerned about what this offense looks like rest of season with Marcus Mariota taking over for the next couple of weeks. We're still not exactly sure what Jaden Daniels and how long he'll be out for, but considering it's a re-injury of his elbow injury, they didn't get surgery on the only way to fix it is with surgery. So we shall see, but for the time being, it's going to be a lot of Marcus Mariota and your Corey Krosky merit was actually works then, or he was worse last year with Marcus Mariota as his starting quarterback versus Jane Daniels. And this is courtesy of the fantasy pros with or without you tool. If you go check that out on the websites, one of our tools that we just talked about this year, you can see the splits of how a player performs when a certain player is also in the lineup. So go check out the tool. You can see for yourself, but yeah, it's a fall off when Marcus Mariota is the quarterback. And I don't think that's really surprising. He is a worse quarterback than Jane Daniels is. So that concerns me about what bill can do rest of season. And then when I look at this particular matchup, what we saw last week, Rashad white was out there commanding the majority of targets. I don't think that this Washington defense can stop anybody. And that means how much chore across America is actually going to be playing in this particular offense. If the commanders are always trailing in games because they have a worse offense because their defense can't stop anybody, because that's what happened last week. We're shot white, six cuts, six of his targets for 40 yards tied for the second most targets on the team. He also had 43 rushing yards, seven carries, which was actually the same yardage as bill, but on five, fewer attempts. So I've always been on high and Rashad white, you know, through the off season, that's the commander's running back. I prefer now it's kind of like a situation where you don't really feel comfortable at any commander's running back, but I just think that bill is facing an uphill although he has some decent box score stats through the first two weeks of the season. And admittedly, he looked really great against the Philadelphia Eagles. I do get concerned about his rest of the season outlook with a backup quarterback starting, with things kind of going or getting unraveled here with the commander's team overall without having Jane Daniels for the foreseeable future. So for those reasons, I think that Ja'Cory Kroski-Meyer, especially trading him to a team that might need a running back, he is a sell for me. It's, you know, the upcoming schedule too, like Seattle, they're not gonna score anything on Seattle. Then like, and you can maybe use this as a selling point. After Seattle is Indy and the Giants, I think you can make a selling point on him being a good buy for managers then. But then after that, it gets tough. At San Francisco, I don't think he's gonna do very well there. Philly again, I know like he looked, you know, better in week one than he did in week two. He still was averaging under four yards a carry and needed a touchdown to have a good fantasy day in that one. The Rams in week nine, like it's not that, really that enticing. And then to end, to the season, Erickson, his last, the last four weeks. So if you're thinking ahead already, like, oh, I wanna have this guy for the playoffs and everything like that. Weeks 14 through 17, Houston, Atlanta, at Minnesota, at Jacksonville. Like, how are they? I just, it's especially in the running game. I just don't see him being very effective for the commanders in that end of season schedule in the playoffs. So I think in the medium term and in the long term, this is a smart move to try to sell off if you can on the basis of that week one performance. And maybe a couple of the games coming up, you could try and sink that into the conversation. But he's, he's already 30 in the rest of season consensus rankings. He's right behind Blake Corum. I would definitely rather have Corum rest of season. He's two behind Chuba Hubbard. I'd rather have Hubbard at this point. He's two ahead of Menungai. I'd rather take the upside swing on if Swift goes down, what Menungai looks like. Like he's, he's just in a range where I'm interested in other names. To me, he's a player that you're gonna feel obligated to start when he's getting volume, but then he's a player that you start in your lineup and you feel disappointed every single time you play him because, oh, he didn't hit his projection. He's not involved in the passing game as much. He's got to score a touchdown, rip off a big play. And I actually just pulled up the exact stat. So last year in six games with Marcus Mariota as the quarterback for Washington, Bill's production fell off by more than five half PPR points per game. So that's pretty substantial when you look at the entirety of the commander's offensive projection rest of season. And I didn't mention this either, but they also had two offensive line injuries last week, Samuel Cosme, Brandon Coleman. So do it against Seattle, man. I think his stock's going down after this week, at least. I feel very, very confident about that considering nobody can do anything against the Seahawks defense and Marcus Mariota. Yeah, he's not the worst backup quarterback in the world, but even at home, dude, this commander's offensive is gonna outscore. He's not a terrible backup quarterback. I just think that the situation around it, like this team, as much as any team in the NFL, is reliant on their superstar quarterback. And if Jane Daniels isn't there, I just don't see Washington doing anything. And that's not a knock on Mariota. It's a knock on what he's stepping into around him. And then you throw in the fact that they're facing the best defensive football. I think it could get really ugly this week. It's gonna be tough sledding. And Terry McLaurin was a player I considered talking about maybe on the receiver show as a buy, because he's actually had pretty positive game splits with Mariota. But then I'm like, you can just buy these guys after they play. I was gonna say, wait a week. If you have interest in buying any commander, wait until after this week. Price of the brick's going down. To reverse the wire quote. Okay. Quarterback, and you can go in either direction, buy or sell on this one. This week, you're going with a quarterback to buy Erickson. Who do you have? Yes, I'm going with the old homer pick here with my Patriots quarterback, Drake May, because he has been bad to start the first two weeks of the season. He's been outside the top 20 fantasy quarterbacks through the first two games. I actually checked last year. He was outside the top 20 quarterbacks, I think like once or twice all of last season. So credit to the tougher schedule. That's obviously going to hold its weight. Losing A.J. Brown at the beginning was obviously really tough. And he hasn't really looked that great, admittedly. I know Seattle's obviously going to be a tough draw on week one, but even against Pittsburgh Steelers, still made a couple of bonehead throws where I was thinking, man, like Drake, what are we doing here, buddy? Obviously connected with the Patriots, on Romeo Dobbs for a long play, but no touchdowns in this game, except for the Travion Henderson rushing touchdown. So we definitely want to see more from Drake May. But I do think that when you look at the schedule for the Patriots the rest of the way up until their bye week, it's filled with bad defenses or projected shootouts against teams like the Jaguars or the Bills. And then they get to face the Dolphins twice. They get to face the Jets. So those are the reasons why I want to buy into Drake May because I don't think that the talent has fallen off. In any way, shape or form, he will get A.J. Brown back at some point. And I think right now with his stock just so low, we know that Drake May can be a difference maker at fantasy at the quarterback position. And when you can get a guy like that for, dude, if I could just send, like, do they get to trade Jared Goff to get Drake May based on Jared Goff coming off like a 40 point game where Drake May has done absolutely, I mean, people are probably pissed about drafting Drake May because he's been so bad through two weeks. When I look at, okay, week one, the matchup is really tough. Losing A.J. Brown, week two, again, the Steelers, not a environment conducive for scoring points. People are frustrated with May. And I think that you can probably flip one of these other quarterbacks plus something else as sweetener to get a quarterback that, I mean, he was runner up in MVP last year. He can make plays with his legs. And I don't think that he's going to be this bad the rest of the season when the schedule opens up. So what do you think about that? What I think is I'm so bummed that we're not going to get to see A.J. Brown against this slew of defenses in the next two months because that would have been really fun. So, yeah, like I do. I mean, you said like you use top 20 as your barometer. Man, he's been outside the top 22. He's barely been a quarterback too. He's been QB 23 and QB 25. I was trying to be generous, okay? He's my guy. He's trying to be generous. I know it. Listen, we've all been there. Yeah, you mentioned all those defenses, by the way. You did not mention Chicago is on that list. You didn't mention at Detroit is on that list. Like at the Chargers, I mean, it is. It is awesome. That week's 14 and 15, he gets Minnesota and at Kansas City. That's a little scary. Besides that, pretty much the entire rest of the schedule looks awesome. So unfortunately, that second Miami game is in week 18. So he won't get that during the fantasy season, which is a bit of a dagger. But yeah, no, this looks great. I'm totally, totally on board with this. The biggest question for me is like what it would take to get somebody like him. And, you know, it's just hard because it's so league dependent, right? Like in the consensus rest of season rankings, he's QB four. I think. I think folks who do what we do for like professionally, I think are going to be very recognizing of the schedule and the talent and say, even though A.J. Brown is still out for a while, like we're just a believer in this guy. And again, he didn't have A.J. Brown last year, MVP runner up. But I think if you look to maybe in the right league, which again, it's all contextual and it's all worth asking. I think you could try to swing other trades. I wouldn't even be opposed to something like, hey, I'm going to trade you like Tyler Shuck and another piece for Drake May or Jared Goff and another piece for Drake May. I'd be fine like trying to tear up a quarterback and going for the big upside swing with Drake May, who I think is going to finish a lot closer to his QB four ranking rest of season that he's at right now, as opposed to where he's at currently, obviously. I agree. Let's do some buy, sell or holds, Erickson. We've got a couple of questions. We've got a couple of running back ones and then a QB one for you. Then we'll get out of here. I want to put some big names into one of these. So I've got Devon Achan, Javante Williams, Kyron Williams. Again, for those who are maybe new to the show this year, this is not a ranking of the three. This is one to buy at their current market value, one to sell at their current market value and one that you want to hold at their current market value. So buy, sell or hold Achan, that's Devon Achan, Javante Williams, Kyron Williams. So I think, you know, I think I'm going to buy Devon Achan because I think that he plays on the Dolphins and that's why he's cheap, but he is a full-blown bell cow running back that's catching passes. That was the biggest knock on Achan was, oh, what's going to happen when Lee Quillis is the quarterback? He's not going to get targets. I think that he might be the target leader for the Dolphins over the last two weeks. He's had at least six targets, I believe, in both games. So he's someone that is seeing passing. He has 11 targets this season, just for what's worth. It's five in the first game, six in the second. Okay. So he's seeing plenty of volume through the air, which that was like the biggest point against him, obviously playing in this environment as well, but so explosive, can rip off big plays. If you just want to lock in a fantasy volume play, especially in full PPR, I still think Achan is an interesting buy. So especially just given the- I will say, by the way, of those 11 targets, he's only caught seven of them. He with three for six, which you don't often see for running backs because it's usually a bit easier just catching the check down. So just throwing that out there. I would say, so he's the buy for me. And then Javante Williams would probably be the sell, as weird as that sounds, because he plays on a wagon offense of the Dallas Cowboys, but matchups aren't nearly as good. I mean, Javante has had two amazing spots the last two weeks and his rushing production has been really bad to start the year against the Giants and Commanders. What does he have? 24 carries for 71 yards, I think is his exact line. That's exactly right. Yeah. So I remember writing that in the Beyond, waiver wire piece. because you want to list him as like a sell, but you also recognize, dude, like there's really no one else they're going to give volume to in this backfield. But if it's a scenario where someone really wants to pay a lot for Javante because he is the Dallas Cowboys star running back and you can get a really strong return for him, that's who would be my sell here. And then Kyron Williams, I think is just a hold, man. I can't project exactly how this Rams backfield is going to play out. All I know is Kyron Williams scores fantasy points. I'm just kind of throwing my hands up. I know Corham's good too. They're both good. They were both going to pay off their ADPs. Like I'm so sick of having to take a side. It's always usually against Kyron and they're just both good. You both play him. So he'll be my hold. Javante has nine targets this season. And that was something that like, I know in the summer, I talked a lot with Fitz about how Javante is kind of a nothing burger in the passing game, especially after the first few weeks of last season where he was catching passes and then just totally stopped. If he's catching passes again, he's somebody that I do want to be buying. We'll see if that lasts the whole season, but eight catches already on the season, including a receiving touchdown. I'm kind of interested in buying all these guys at cost. Honestly, I don't want to pay up for any of them, but I'm willing to pay market value, I think for all three. So that's kind of why I want to trade. So all three guys, would you take over on Marion Hampton? Yes or no? Yeah. Okay. I don't love saying it, but I think you have to, honestly. And by the way, that's the tier though, right? All three are ranked behind him in expert consensus rankings. So I think that's a good thing. So that is a very doable trade. Hampton is where? RB11, A Chance 12, Javante 13, Kyron 16. Yeah. I also have Hampton at 11 because I feel like my ranking is more projective of what the market price for him should be. Like this is how he should be valued, even though we just outlined how this could go very south for him in the upcoming weeks. And this might be the time to cash out. Another trio here. David Montgomery, Cam Scadaboo, Travion Henderson. Henderson getting the explosive touchdown this week. Scadaboo obviously has the offensive questions with darts, injury, and David Montgomery having nowhere close to the game he had in week one. Buy, sell, or hold Montgomery, Scadaboo, and Henderson. Man, I wish I had been more defined about selling Dave Montgomery last week. I wrote about it, but did not bring it to the show. Instead, I was a coward and said Chuba Hubbard was a sell. And I got what I deserved for him. Got what I deserved because Jonathan Brooks is not coming back. That was the worst advice I gave last week, trading away Chuba Hubbard. But we will keep on keeping on. Gonna sell Dave Montgomery anyway because I just don't, didn't like him in draft season, didn't score the touchdown, still have issues with this offensive line for the Houston Texans, especially without Nico Collins. This offense just isn't the same. Keep Cam Scadaboo because he is so good and so fun. And if Jackson Dart misses any more time, it's just going to be Cam Scadaboo, Wildcat formation. Dude, I would sign up for that type of offense. Like that would be fun to watch. And then Henderson will be the buy, right? You know, Ramondre is never going to go away, but every time the guy fumbles, it gives Henderson a shot. And I think that the fact that Henderson scored right away after Stevenson fumbled in the same drive is just a reminder of like a subtle nudge at the coaching staff for Ingram and be like, dude, like we got this guy with a rocket attached to his back. Let's give him more opportunities and less for Ramondre. No, we said this all last year, but hey, streaks are meant to be broken, man. Maybe this is the time that they finally shift back towards Henderson. So that's what we'll go with. Let's quickly do a quarterback trio here. Erickson, Justin Herbert, Tyler Shuck, Jordan Love. Three interesting names from the fantasy perspective. Love obviously losing Jaden Reed this week. You know, a player that I really liked coming into the season. Honestly, Shuck has looked awesome ever since he got into the second half of that Lions game. And then Herbert, you know, we could not have been higher on in August as a mid-round quarterback and has certainly not panned out. So at this point, two weeks in, buy, sell, or hold Herbert, Shuck, and Love. So I'm going to buy Shuck because his schedule is really good the rest of the season. Just buying the Saints in general. Basically, if you're a Saint not named Travis HN, I want you on my team in some way, shape, or form. So Shuck's a buy. Love would probably be my sell for me. I feel like both these quarterbacks feel like sells, but right now the stock for Herbert is so, he's going to get dropped. And like, you can't, I don't know if you can sell Herbert for really anything. So he'll be my hold because I just don't think that anybody's going to want to acquire him, even though you've got a matchup here against the Buffalo Bills, where even if Hampton doesn't show out, it could be a game where Herbert has to do a little bit more and plays better. So I like Herbert probably as the hold and Jordan Love would be the sell for me. Losing Jaden Reed is not good. And as bad as the offensive line has been for the Chargers, Packers offensive line is worse. So that concerns me about him long-term. Took more injuries this week too. Yep. So they're playing on a short week against the Falcons. They don't have a pass rush. So you're probably not going to see that happen this week, but that's where I would be concerned.
