Fantasy Football - Top 10 QB Rankings + Money Money Money! - Podcast for 8/4

The Fantasy Footballers podcast opens with playful discussion about the upcoming Hall of Fame game, where hosts Andy, Jason, and Mike joke about their confusion over the event’s format, noting the Cardinals and Panthers will play for honorees like Larry Fitzgerald and Luke Kuechly. They transition to promoting the Ultimate Draft Kit (UDK), emphasizing its new mock draft tool—a first for the product—alongside features like player profiles and draft preparation resources. A new segment, "Performance Climbers," debuts, spotlighting players rising in average draft position (ADP). First, they analyze Isaiah Likely, the Giants tight end, who has moved up a round due to a potential featured role and a three-year, $40 million contract, with Mike expressing excitement about his athleticism and red-zone ability, though he remains a late-round option. Next, Parker Washington of the Jaguars is discussed; he’s been Trevor Lawrence’s favorite target in camp, averaging 71 yards per game late last season, but concerns linger about target competition from Travis Hunter, Brian Thomas Jr., and others, with money and roles still uncertain. Finally, Tyler Shuck of the Saints has risen several rounds, with Mike praising his rushing floor and elite receiver duo, comparing him favorably to Dak Prescott, though others note his limited NFL experience. The episode concludes with debates over receiver rankings, including disagreements on tiers for players like Jordan Tyson and Rashid Rice, blending analysis with humor.

Speaker 1Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
Speaker 2Welcome in. The. Fantasy. Footballers. The. The. I don't know. The people, Mike, they know. They can. They can tell that it's football time is coming. It's coming closer, Mike. It's percolating. Not that you'll throw one out there for the Hall of Fame game with our Arizona
Speaker 3Cardinals. I did wonder about that this morning. I was like, there's there is there is football, but does it? I don't know. You know, stay tuned. You know how stupid I am. Yeah. Yeah,
Speaker 2we do. Okay. That's all. Yeah. How stupid are you? I'm stupid enough to not realize that the Hall of Fame game is always between two teams. Really? That. Okay. No, that's not the end of the sentence. That's very stupid. I see how dumb you are. That have players going into the Hall of Fame. I didn't realize that we had the chance to visit the Hall of Fame. You know, two of five players going into the Hall of Fame and the Panthers are playing the Cardinals. That's how dumb I am. I just thought that they were just randomly
Speaker 3chosen teams. I don't I don't blame you on that. I really because I didn't realize you didn't realize I didn't realize that either. But I don't I think it's because he just learned it just now. I didn't realize it because I didn't care. You know, like, why? Why did
Speaker 2I do? I do kind of like, like, maybe it was just, you know, like Luke Keekly. We got to watch him play. Larry, the goat, my favorite. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't
Speaker 3know. If you told me that every year, like, like, like Thanksgiving. Well, every year it's the Lions and someone else. I would have believed you. I'd be like, cool. I don't
Speaker 2care. The it's a high school game. Like, but maybe like this, you know, Cardinals playing for the honor of Larry and then the Panthers playing for the honor of Keekly. Maybe there's
Speaker 4more gravity to it. Just two incredible teams. Well, Kenny Pickett's going to Kenny Pickett is the starter. Baby hands. Oh, man. So we, I mean, look, the hands means seven. They've been very strong. I was doing
Speaker 2AI is very powerful when it comes to accentuating someone's physical problems. Man, how long
Speaker 4until we speak only in memes? It's not far off. And it's going to be the downfall of society. I mean, like what we all started this like hieroglyphics drawings. And we're like, yeah, no, we're coming back. Now we're supposed to.
Speaker 5We're sophisticated with our language. And now we're like smiley face fart cloud memes do say something that words can't say. Yes, they do. I pretty much. You can feel the emotion.
Speaker 3I try to only respond in gifts, but not for me. Yeah, it's no, it really does. And I frequently
Speaker 4we we text each other. And I mean, it's full on the key and peel sketch when they're texting each other. And it's just something that's lost in translation of just words. Right. But when you send the meme or the gift, it's like, no, I know exactly. I hear you. Yeah.
Speaker 2Nothing is mistaken. Does that mean that we have just become very bad at using words to
Speaker 5convey what we want to say? Because I think that's what we just said. We're not good at
Speaker 3the words. I think we've I think we've grown even beyond just words. Well, we have a great
Speaker 4show today. I mean, it's the bell curve meme where everyone's dumb. And then you and then you get to the end and you're back where you started.
Speaker 2Cardinals, Panthers, our first kind of football game is coming. And then before you know it, Mike will be screaming out. It's football time once a week. And we will be in the season and you will be on your way to a fantasy title. And I'm excited. We've got a new segment today. We've got news to talk about. We have a quarterback rankings countdown episode. It is August, boys, which means the ultimate draft kit is out right now. The big headline this year. Thousands of you have used it. It's the ultimate draft kit. It's the ultimate draft kit. It's the ultimate this product over the last 12 years. The mock draft tool for the very first time is live in the UDK. So we've never had a mock draft tool native to the ultimate draft kit. It is there right now on mobile. It is coming to the Web very soon. It is a beta product. We've added keeper support. There's a lot of amazing tools and resources, but I don't want to bury all of the other things that are part of the UDK hundred plus player profiles, sleepers, breakouts, busts and values are consensus picks for those. You've got the ability to go through and you're going to be able to mark, you know, players inside the UDK in the mobile app on the Web. So you're prepared for your draft. So you don't forget the guys later that are important. Yeah, this is this is like setting the foundation for your entire season right here is getting the draft right. A lot of you have many drafts over the course of, you know, the entire month of August and into September. Sounded sounded like very tiny drafts, like miniature drafts. That's what I was just
Speaker 3like. Some of you have many. That's basically a mock draft, you know. So we've got a new mini
Speaker 5draft tool. You say those words differently, like many, many, many. Yeah, there's different
Speaker 2letters and stuff. Yeah. Many, many. What's the problem here? He you missed. He thought I said miniature drafts, mini drafts, which maybe you do. Maybe you have some small 16 league. A 16 league is a mini draft. Anyway, we support. Oh, boy. We support large, regular size and miniature drafts with the UDK. Many. That's ultimate. See what I say now. Many. It's over. Just use a meme. Ultimate draft kit dot com. Sounds like M-E-N-Y. Many.
Speaker 5Mike, be quiet. My mind is broken. We've got it. We've got it. We've got a new segment
Speaker 1we got to jump into. Performance climbers presented by GMC. We are we have a brand new segment and we
Speaker 2are talking through all the way to the top. A number of players that are rising in ADP. And what we think about that rise, whether the value is still there, where you think they're going to end up on draft day. So I've got three names to talk about, but I will say I'm very excited about the segment. One, two, very proud of what you did with the with the music there. Thank you. Playing in with the climbers because it was climbing. That was great. All right. Isaiah likely has moved up a round in the last couple. Of months. Isaiah likely. I am finding I've raised him in my rankings a couple of times in the last couple of months. There is a lot of talk about him having a featured role in the offense. Familiarity with the head coach. I don't view Malik neighbors as a reason like his health if he's back a little sooner than we think, which it seems like is the case. I don't necessarily view that as like some negative for Isaiah likely. It's better for the offense as a whole. There aren't a lot of things that we can do to make sure that Isaiah likely gets in this offense. Wandale is gone. Malik neighbors is acclimating. I find myself more and more interested in Isaiah likely right now. He's still an 11th round pick. He's moved up in the interest and in the ADP charts. Sign the big contract three year $40 million deal. 26 million guaranteed. He's been a 12.5 point per game player with no Mark Andrews. You know, the Giants reports. I mean, Connor Hughes talked about them featuring him along the way. He's been a 12.5 point per game player with no Mark Andrews.
Speaker 3You know, the Giants reports. I mean, Connor Hughes talked about them featuring him along the way. He's been a 12.5 point per game player with no Mark Andrews. You know, the Giants reports. I mean, Connor Hughes talked about them featuring him along the way. He's been a 12.5 point per game player with no Mark Andrews. It's possible he's third here with Isaiah likely there's there's a clear one and Malik neighbors and then there is a wide open. You have the total opportunity to be the number two target. He's 26 years old and we've seen plenty of times in history where a tight end changing teams go into that second contract. That's when they become more fantasy. He's 26 years old and we've seen plenty of times in history where a tight end changing teams go into that second contract. That's when they become more fantasy.
Speaker 4He's great the what's what's hard about it. Jay like, yeah, we've seen these guys change teams. Have we seen this is a question. I don't I don't know because this would be a factoid. Have we seen a tight end change teams to the exact same head coach who last year? Oh, he was told that that player would be a pro bowler and the answer to that was the other guy on the team got an extension. I will say this is, you know, to excuse away some of that conversation like
Speaker 2he got disrupted instantaneously. I mean, I say likely, didn't play the first three weeks of the season he wasn't playing um you know he missed his opportunity to kind of have that breakout i just know what i see on the field a hyper athletic talented move tight end that has the capability of being a red zone target that was a constant you know he went up and got balls in the back of the end zone for lamar jackson i find myself more excited look what is excitement for isaiah likely he's moved from the tight end 21 to 17 so we're not talking about and he's a late round tight end option if jason somehow and this won't happen but just hypothetically if jason misses out on sam laporta again it won't happen right he's mine but if it happens to me this is another player that you can look at later in the draft
Speaker 4that excites me a lot more than dalton schultz yes i'm i am with you of like i'm not planning any of my team structure around isaiah likely you know where last year we had you know we had a lot of players that were not going to be able to play in the draft and we had a lot of players that were not going to play in the draft and we had a lot of players that were not going to play in the draft and we had a lot of players that were not going to play and we had a lot of players that were not going to play in the draft and we had a lot of players uh with when loveland and warren were rookies i was very okay missing on one of the the elite tight ends because i'm like these guys are late and they they seem like we are we're pretty sure that that player is going to hit adp says that we're not 100 sure likely is going to hit but once if you miss out on the elite guys which that i'm with jason that's my strategy this year i want one of them but after that you know it's like ferguson who he needs an injury in front of him gadston news has not been good good like i mean range of outcomes on gaston there has been as useless it's been a lack of news and then it's like mark andrews what
Speaker 2does he have left kelsey's great one andrews v likely it is yeah so at that point that one is a
Speaker 4great which the thought process upside is on the yes is on the light so i'm fine with this as long as we don't get out of control and it's worth it's worth noting like
Speaker 3mike and i were in new york a couple weekends ago interviewing yeah uh jackson dart and cam scataboo and we asked dart like you know wandale's gone malik is coming back who's the first target to who are you looking at and the name he brought up was likely parker washington wide receiver for
Speaker 2jacksonville the headlines the last few days have been travis hunter center we had early off season brian thomas jr we got a contract for britain strange i mean i can they have a lot of past sketching targets but parker washington has been oftentimes the favorite in camp so far for trevor lawrence he has moved up around in the last seven several months he's an eighth round pick he averaged 71 yards a game was the wide receiver 11 from week nine on last year no travis hunter in that spell i mean again this is what's ironic about these two players so far and maybe i'll three the film says more than you know a season long set of numbers for these guys because they've either been injured not involved but i thought the film on parker washington was outstanding this looked like a a player that was going to be an impact player but i don't know if there's enough to go around to where i'm going to be sitting week in week out going parker washington's more wide receiver three to start him this week i think you can always start him but you got to like cross your fingers and be like is this the week that he's the most involved player where i know jason let's turn it over to you you have been rising on parker yeah i flipped i went
Speaker 3into the offseason brian thomas jr ahead of parker washington just because of you know the talent upside we obviously saw the breakout rookie season the the the fact that he's used downfield but everything that we had with brian thomas that was great was not with trevor lawrence and with trevor lawrence we've seen a real connection to parker washington and what's happened this offseason is it's really this i don't love moving players based on quotes and stuff and and that is what's happened here so full disclosure but it's the type of quotes that are coming out that are talking about when trevor lawrence talks about his wide receivers and he talks about parker washington and he talks about brian thomas jr he talks about parker washington like he is the best wide receiver in the league everything he's everything he does is good he's always creating separation he's quick off the ball and then it's like well what about brian thomas jr he is he's fast one word fast and it's like then you then you watch some of the other you look at jacoby myers and brian thomas talk about like they're trying to beat each other in they're trying to be the first one in the building the last one out but they're like well we're not competing with parker he's always here first like he is the
Speaker 2quote from john shipley from sports illustrator washington has routinely been the top target for trevor lawrence in practice during training camp it's easy to see why catching everything thrown in his direction consistent separation grant you said i certainly don't want to take it for granted that we have a player of this capacity uh when the ball's in the air i have the utmost confidence he's going to come down with it and
Speaker 3superlatives and superlatives we saw it after the bye week last year an entire half of the season nine games he averaged 12 fantasy points per game he was on pace for 1200 receiving yards 77 receptions like we've seen him on this team with this quarterback succeed in that role so it's like why are you know and that was how they finished the season and now everything in camp says it's continuing so i'm just believing what we saw at the end of last year i i have definitely risen in my rankings i the whole
Speaker 4jacksonville wide receiver situation is is tough as you know a a foundation i think that is is strong for fantasy football advice is follow the actions of of the team and the management what do they say they're paying everybody but parker washington well that that is their priority according so it's like but they haven't paid him yet if if a parker washington contract came in that would it would really change things i'm i'm not opposed to the idea that park washington maybe he is the best like that is certainly a thing that can happen but you trade for jacoby you extend him at the at the uh end of last year you give strange all that money and now all this
Speaker 2travis hunter stuff i'm i was gonna bring up the contract it is if you got news of the contract
Speaker 4it would really solidify it for yes it would it would go from this more nebulous abstract cloud that i feel like we're we're reaching into and hoping you get the right guy
Speaker 3yeah because dude money talks travis hunter is the biggest to me you look at after the bi-week last year where he was on pace for 1200 yards that was exactly the time that travis hunter went down so you can make the argument that it was travis hunter being gone is the only reason parker washington got the extra play and was playing 80 of snaps can he do it yes can michael wilson do it yes will that be their role that's the real question and and travis hunter while he is not going to play enough snaps on offense to be himself a weekly starter he is going to play enough snaps on offense to can potentially just ruin everybody not named uh trevor lawrence for the jags that that's my
Speaker 2biggest worry tyler shuck another quarterback that has moved up the ranks we know what mike thinks about tyler shuck we know what jason thinks about their white outs i don't know agree jason put his whiteout tears up on twitter oh yeah um you did i missed i think you're i think you mostly nailed it i i disagree on the a couple of them there were a few like jefferson and addison yeah there's three in a different tier than aminara and jameson i didn't agree with that at
Speaker 3all that was really i i will correct my mistake that was a an unintentional mental quarterback punishment that putting those guys below got the lions got it the other two that got that got flack on there was how high i have jordan tyson and chris olave and roma dunzey and yeah here yeah
Speaker 2i thought we were friends jason but you want s tier mike for a guy that's never played a snap in the nfl that's not appropriate that's inappropriate i think i think what i put up was very appropriate i mean i think you hedged i think you got scared burn the dunzey olave tyson are tbds on how good they'll be now this you could you could argue the way you rank i mean potential versus performance if you're ranking based on what you think their potential is that's fine but you
Speaker 3can't base it on performance yet well of course you can't with a rookie i mean you you have to
Speaker 2project right it's impossible not to yeah yeah but i i think most people when they talk about the talent level on a team or it's oftentimes what you've seen versus what they're might be you put rashi rice in the uninspiring category yeah that seemed a little low to me i loved it you okay what are we doing here just entertainment all right tyler shuck has moved up three or four rounds um but he's basically free still quarterback 18 or so yeah i mean uh mike is mike is just over the moon about tyler shuck i i think he saw enough of that and i think he's going to win in the in the sample size that he feels like there's nowhere to go but up we we know the story in the nfl you know don't ask cj stroud how his rookie season went compared to the other years bo nicks took a step back last year compared to what we expected uh we have we've seen the ups and downs of these players yep um but those teams didn't do what the saints did which is what
Speaker 4jordan tyson in the top tier guy and you draft jordan tyson the top 10 and then you give your true number one wide receiver all the money i mean this is just this is a dream come true this is and it's it's fine if you want you're like i can't put them up there because I haven't seen Jordan Tyson take a snap, that's fine. But I will say, you know, when we do, hey, the time machine, it's like by next year, I think the Saints are going to feel like the Bengals and the Cowboys. We have two top-tier studs, and we have a quarterback. I'm not saying Shuck is burrow, but I'm saying like Shuck can put up numbers the way that like Dak puts up numbers when he has two elite wide receivers.
Speaker 2So do you believe that you can draft him and play him every week?
Speaker 4I do. The opening is going to be –
Speaker 2Because that would make him the best pick in fantasy quarterback-wise.
Speaker 3He feels like it to me.
Speaker 2Because he'll be free.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean, the nice thing is he's got a rushing baseline. He'll rush for over 400 yards or a round there. That is helpful when you're taking a late-round quarterback. Dak or Shuck? Oh, Dak.
Speaker 4I'm more confident in Dak. So if you're talking – They're not that far apart in rounds anymore. Where's Dak at?
Speaker 2Where's Dak at sixth? Maybe Dak's way ahead of him. Significantly higher. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. I thought Dak might – I mean, Dak's getting to the point where it's – Sixth round is a pretty big commit to Dak for sure. Shuck, you don't have to commit.
Speaker 3Shuck, you're talking about Jordan Love, Malik Willis. Those are the quarterbacks around him.
Speaker 2Yeah, he'd be 11 for Dak in the ninth.
Speaker 4So the way I see Shuck is, you know, when we talk about the years of – and look, I have Malik Willis in this area as well. I'm like, you get to that last pick, you're like, I don't really like any of these – I don't like any of these sleepers. I'm not seeing any news that's changing how I'm feeling about guys. I'll just take a second quarterback, and I'll see what happens in week one. You know, like the Lamar year, that was the advice. It was like, everything's set up for Lamar Jackson, but let's see if he can actually do it. And if you took him with your last pick, you more than likely won your league that year. I don't want to get hyperbolic and say Shuck's a league winner, but he's that type of profile that – For a different show. I'm willing to draft a second quarterback where frequently I'm not.
Speaker 2All right, that was Performance Climbers brought to you by GMC. We are professional grade. We'll take a break, and then we'll jump into the news.
Speaker 1News and notes from around the league.
Speaker 2Well, this segment has got a lot of this stuff in it.
Speaker 4Cash money. Taking over for the 9-9 in the –
Speaker 2Big money contracts being doled out. Bijan Robinson, three-year contract worth up to $75 million with $51 million guaranteed. And if you want to know how nice it is to be a wide receiver, Zay Flowers, four-year 140 with 108 guaranteed. More than double the amount Bijan gets guaranteed in his contract. Big money for big money players. Securing Zay Flowers as the true one in Baltimore. Bijan, we knew he was going to get paid, just didn't know when. Maybe this – This clears up the path for Jameer Gibbs getting his contract. We'll see. Gibbs is not practicing. Bijan will return.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think this is exactly what's going to heal the ailment of Gibbs holding out because, you know, whoever goes second, they've got the market set, and they just go, give me that, but plus some.
Speaker 2Mike, prepare the electrical substation. Mike Evans did not practice. Okay. I guess I should say 49ers wide. Wide receiver Mike Evans did not practice Monday due to a quad strain.
Speaker 4It's not believed to be serious per Rappaport. But wait, there's more.
Speaker 2Kalen Blatt also did not practice due to a groin injury. Mind you, Jordan James fractured a rib last week. Garendo's already on the IR. So, bring – Pearsall's out for the year. Kirk got hurt already. Stribling is also injured. I don't think we mentioned that. The electrical substation is in midseason. It's season four.
Speaker 3Move your practice. Like, at some point, the joke is –
Speaker 4I'm in full agreement with that. If I'm the management, we're spending cash, man. We're fixing this situation.
Speaker 3I mean, it doesn't even matter if it's the substation.
Speaker 2Just a change of scenery. Yeah, if you're practicing at the base of a volcano, and they're like, that's an idle volcano. There's no danger there. I'm still going to practice somewhere else. Yeah, just for fun. Just move it. They lost their undrafted edge to a torn ACL. They did sign Khalil Herbert, so that's fun.
Speaker 5Khalil's like, I passed. He's like, no, thank you. I know I'm looking for work. No way, man.
Speaker 4Khalil Herbert's like, free check, baby. I'm going to show up. I'll be hurt within two weeks.
Speaker 2Yeah, I was going to say, two weeks of practice. And I'll just cash the – I'll get waived with my injury. Is CMC wearing, like, grounding cleats or something? Like, does he have some sort of electrical copper bracelet? What are we doing?
Speaker 3The joke last year was CMC was siphoning everybody. That's the only way he was able to stay healthy, and he is wanting to be healthy this year. I will say this. The fact that you lost Pearsall. Mike Evans, I know it's not quote-unquote serious. Of course this is serious. For a player like Mike Evans, who has been dealing his entire back half of his career with – No, but it's usually the back of the leg. I know, but it's the soft tissue in his legs. Like, if he's already struggling with this – Front of the legs connected to the back of the leg. And this is a problem. And last year, the reason CMC was so great, it wasn't efficiency. It was the fact that he – Availability. Well, I believe he led the entire league in red zone targets at the running back position. He might do it again. That's my point.
Speaker 2Mike Evans, you were into Evans. I love Evans here. It's a perfect match. Evans and Adams are the two oldest players being drafted in the top six rounds in fantasy. Just bear that in mind. I just want – If you don't get a discount on those players – You should not draft them.
Speaker 3It never works out. I need Evans to miss enough practices and enough training camp to where he's like an eighth-round pick. Oh, gosh. That's not going to happen. Because I really want to – But then you'll be even more concerned. No, that's fine. But I want Mike Evans on my team, but I just don't want to cost – I don't want the opportunity cost to be giving up something too valuable.
Speaker 2Mike Evans is going to be a very polarizing pick. He's a fifth-round pick right now. Yeah, too high. Devonta Smith, Makai Lemon, both not practicing. Both hurt their hamstrings. Makai Lemon, that's a bit of a flag to me. You want rookies that can acclimate to the offense, and when you are missing multiple stretches due to a hamstring –
Speaker 4Which he was already dealing with some hamstrings. Yeah, so this is a re-aggravation.
Speaker 3I assume it's the same one. I don't know for sure, but presumably he has re-aggravated the issue that kept him out of camp.
Speaker 2Yeah, that happened to Luther Burden last year, is that right? And that gave him a very slow start to his career. Kenyon Sadiq missed three straight practices, suffered a setback from a hernia. His hernia surgery will be out a little bit. Okay, Aaron Glenn said he'll be back week one. Casey Concepcion expected, quote, to be fine after injuring his shoulder, and Greg Dulcich is nursing a minor injury, which unfortunately with Dulcich's injury, Malik Wills is now throwing the ball to the air. That is the final blow. Where did you rank the Dolphins in your Twitter?
Speaker 3I believe my – My tier was what are we even doing here.
Speaker 2There's two teams in the what are we even doing tier. It's the Trey Tucker, Jalen Naylor tier, and the Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert tier. At least one of those teams has Brock Bowers. And then the Malik Washington truthers came out and attacked you.
Speaker 4All three of them. I got – I'll open that door and I'll wave to the meeting for Malik Washington. I'll just be like, hey, guys, I'm not coming in. I'm not putting a jersey on. I'm not coming in, but – I see you. I see you. I see you. I like what you're doing.
Speaker 3I'll take all top 40 wide receiver bets.
Speaker 2Well, it is time, guys. We've got our quarterback ranking show looking at four-point-per-passing touchdown rankings. Let's get it going.
Speaker 1Quarterbacks.
Speaker 2We are looking at our top ten rankings as of today, August 4th. Looking at positives, concerns, what could go right, what could go wrong, first matchups of the season.
Speaker 3Importantly, this is – This is four-point-per-passing touchdown leagues.
Speaker 2That's where the rankings come from in the UDK. Are these guys every week starters? The confidence level, I brought them up moments ago. Number 10. Dak Prescott comes in at number 10. He is also 33 years old. One of the older players drafted in the first nine rounds of fantasy drafts. Mike, you're the most bullish right now at eight. Jason at 11. I'm at 13. I think we all know what the potential of Dak – is in this offense. Ninth-round pick, quarterback 11 off the board.
Speaker 4He's always – He is an awesome pick. He's an awesome pick. If he is healthy in playing, at worst, he is a top-12 quarterback. At best, he's a top-five. And it's like – It's Dak with CeeDee and George, which, you know, George Pickens has not been really talked about. Which is actually – That's good. You know, like we –
Speaker 2As in, he's not making news for – Correct. Other bits of disgruntled stuff.
Speaker 4George Pickens, based off of his historical profile, at least the way he was talked about from Pittsburgh of, you know, just making problems. It was like, will this player who gets put on a franchise tag, will he make any problems? And it was just – It was real quiet. It was, nope, I'm going to sign it. And you thought, oh, that's interesting that that came out so fast. And then there's just, there's been nothing.
Speaker 2Scotton said in recent days that he wants Pickens there for the rest of his career.
Speaker 4I'm bringing that up. George Pickens and CeeDee Land, where were they? They better have been S-tier. They were, of course, S-tier. They are elite wide receivers.
Speaker 2And Dak Prescott is... You don't pay the borough price for Dak, and you've got the same borough situation. So is that as simple as it is? I mean, you did have career highs in passing yards and pass attempts last year. Does that change? I mean, that's like saying, does it change for borough right now? Until these teams have defenses that are not bottom of the barrel, which maybe both have worked on it.
Speaker 4Dallas has improved their defense. Even with that, it doesn't matter. They can have a top-ten defense. I still think that Dak is going to be a top-ten quarterback. But they can't have a top-ten defense.
Speaker 3But I know what you're saying. Yes, even if they did, the offense is great. They certainly will not, and that is perfect for fantasy. If you just take the 10 games after CeeDee Lamb got back, and then take out Week 18 because they basically gave honorary starts and didn't play, that stretch of 10 games, Dak was on pace for 4,870 passing yards and 30 touchdowns. So that's great for fantasy.
Speaker 2All right. Yeah, I mean, I don't really have much more to add. He is a discounted potential top-tier quarterback, and will be for the remainder of his career due to age and name fatigue. And the last five years he's gone as the quarterback nine or later in every single draft, regardless of performance. At 33, you are going to be an injury risk. You're going to run less and less as the career progresses. But he's become a better and better passer. So we can move on. Number nine. Caleb Williams comes in at number nine. He is 24 years old. I've got him at 11. Jason at eight. Mike? At 10. He is the eighth quarterback off the board. So I guess Mike and I are slightly below ADP there. He had five games, high-end finish games of 24-plus points. He has not been consistent in terms of fantasy output. Everything about his potential for your fantasy team is projection. It is, you know, channeling your optimism around the good, not the bad, not the completion percentage below 60%. 41% of the time last year on our consistency chart, he exceeded 20 points. So that, I do find myself, I want to want to play Caleb. Does that make sense? Yeah, totally. 100%. So I, you know, the schedule to start the year, I'll bring this up. If you are on the fence about Caleb, you should be excited about the first six weeks where you are favored in five of six games. You are playing three out of the first four games at home. And Caroline, as your opening matchup, that seems like if you are on the fence and you want to see how it goes, it's probably going to be okay at worst for the first six weeks.
Speaker 3Yeah, Caleb is interesting. He is the player this year that I think you're trying to project, did he do it? Like his completion percentage is bad because he is not consistent. When you watch his film, he has just these unbelievably bad throws that are like, you know, he's not consistent. Where did that come from? Because he's got great throws and then bad throws. You're hoping that this is a young player who just takes that leap forward and everything is, everything's on target. You know, you look at what's happened this off season with his own regiment, his diet, his work. It seems like he is ready to play. We just talked about the weapons that Dak has, you know, Dak has Ferguson at tight end. Now, Lamb and Pickens are greater sign than Rome and Luther Burden, but you add in, in Loveland, you've got great weapons. You've got a great offensive mind. You've got a great offensive line. Everything is there for him to mine. Absolutely line explode. But the problem is for him to explode for fantasy and truly be like a top three quarterback, which is very much realistic in his range of outcomes. He has to actually take that level up. He has to do kind of what Josh Allen did and go from an impressive physical attribute player to a consistent. Accurate quarterbacks superstar.
Speaker 2Yeah. And I do think, I mean, there is projection in the performance of his past sketchers because last year, I think we, I, you remember going into the, you went into the season, hoping Loveland would be good. Hoping DJ more would be good. Roma dunes. They didn't quite live up to expectation. There was some, we didn't get the, like how it's supposed to play out order, right? Like the plan. It was a roundabout plan to performance that happened a lot late in the season. So we are still projecting a little bit that Rome can, you know, step it up and continue to, you know, he's, he's on the Marv Harrison kind of like slightly like, you know, they're good, but are they kind of path. Right. So, you know, when you look at potential concerns, you know, you want to get the accuracy up,
Speaker 4which there's a big deal. There are reports that I've been reading lately. Sean Hammond, you know, talking about accuracy, of like it's been improved and it, and I think year two with Ben Johnson, it matters. Yeah. Like the, the, the he's a human being and he, you know, that was his second year in the league and it was already on a second offense. And we've seen that destroy quarterbacks when they have to just keep learning a new system, a new system gets to be in year two of it gets to have his wide receiver one and the tight end one, all throughout training camp. I I'm more optimistic for, for where I have Caleb. I mean, I don't have him ranked where it's like, this is a surefire thing, but you know, if you, if you're talking like Dak or Caleb, it's like, well, Caleb can take what he did last year, finishing at wide receiver seven and quarterback seven or yeah, thank you. Quarterback seven. And he could, he could easily move up into be a top five player. Number eight.
Speaker 2All right. This, this is you know, if you, if you don't want to get mired in trying to figure out Jacoby Myers, if you don't want to get Jacoby Myers, no, that's not great. If you, and now you've just flowed my flows off, you know, I was going to talk about trying to decide between pass catchers and Jacksonville running backs and Jacksonville, all that good stuff. Maybe you just draft Trevor Lawrence. He comes in at number eight for us. I've got him at seven. Mike, you haven't met seven as well. He was the quarterback for last year. This is an example of, I mean, he went, he went from the quarterback 26 again, he limited season, but he, he made a tear jump last year under Liam Cohen and Liam Cohen has full control of this offense. Jacksonville is there's so many weapons on this team. You've got a competitive, you know, a tight in four wideouts, special players to come in and certain personnel groupings based all tootin and explosive player. If you get the ball in his hands out of the backfield, maybe he goes the distance. There's just so much to like. Like about Jacksonville overall. I think they are very much a dark horse Superbowl candidate. Maybe it's not even dark horse. Maybe it's like just a horse. Maybe there's a regular horse. Oh,
Speaker 3I mean, he is the horse horse boy. He's been a horse candidate for a while.
Speaker 2There's our horse boy. We need him with his long locks though, man. You gotta, you gotta get that taken care of. Um, I mean, what an incredible goof that was part. The biggest part of Trevor Lawrence's performance last year in terms of fantasy output jumping. It has been, it was the rushing performance. It was nine rush. The rushing touchdowns. Oh yeah. And it was his career hiring yardage too, but I think we can't expect nine rushing touchdowns from Trevor Lawrence, but we can certainly expect five or six. And with all of his weapons back and healthy there, there's a chance that the passing touchdowns go up. And I just like what I'm seeing from him. And I think he has potential for top five performances too.
Speaker 3I do too. I certainly can't. I wouldn't project a player like Lawrence to be near nine rushing touchdowns again. So that coming back down hurts where he is in my rankings. However, you look at Liam Cohen, he got the rushing yardage and rushing attempts up with Baker Mayfield. That was a big deal. And it seemed like as the year went on, Trevor Lawrence finally figured out, dude, you are a very, very athletic quarterback that can scramble and help your offense. If you use your legs,
Speaker 2I think he's always underperformed in that.
Speaker 3Always. But, but he's the same size as Josh Allen. It really in pound.
Speaker 2It's like a Herbert. Yeah. You're like Herbert.
Speaker 3Come on. Yeah. Yeah. Do something. Just run. And, and, but I think that the thing I like is as the season went on, I believe this was intentional. Liam Cohen got more out of his legs. The second half of the year, he was on pace for over 400 rushing yards, which if that's his baseline, that he, with those weapons, I, you know, he's back at the eight, nine turn where he's been a 300,
Speaker 430 yard rusher, three out of five years, like 400 yards is, is not out of the range of outcomes. I think that it's Trevor is interesting to me. So last year, 19.9 points per game. Caleb was at 18.6. We saw Lawrence like really taking off, but Lawrence is being drafted behind Caleb Williams.
Speaker 2The hardest part about Lawrence may be sticking with him through a tough early season schedule. He has to play Cleveland in week one, then Denver, then New England, then, then Cincy congrats, but then Philly and Houston, like five of six weeks are against defenses. I'm scared. have matchups against there's a chance that he has a mid like if i could play let me put it this way if i could play caleb for the first six weeks okay the bears have the sixth toughest schedule strength of schedule in the league but their first six weeks are great if i could play caleb and then maybe trade him for trevor maybe that's the direction i would go um they they have opposites there but um i i just think that you're looking at an offense that could be a top three offense i think that's yeah they could be the best offense in football that's really possible i think so that makes them very interesting number seven it's jackson dart coming in at seven and this is a we have a wide disparity in our individual rankings which you know frankly
Speaker 4doesn't match mike's optimism and excitement for jackson dart from earlier earlier in the off season
Speaker 2i've just i've gotten more sad look jace has got him at six i got him at eight i which is a little bit higher than i had him before in the soft season mike at 12 his adp is the quarterback nine in the eighth round there's just a lot that can go wrong that's that's the only argument for for the dart situation
Speaker 4having him at 12 that that probably is too low for what we what dart put on the field of being a true fantasy difference maker i mean a couple real real poopy pants performances from him but a lot of like elite you know 20 plus points if your quarterback scoring 20 or more points in a week that's really really helping you you take down your opponent but the you know i hate that matt nagy is there he's the new offensive coordinator it's my biggest problem with it too yeah i it just and seemingly you know at least the way i'm looking at things what matt nagy wants out of his offense versus where jackson dart really excelled last year they don't jive so i just i have concerns uh that matt nagy is going to ruin everything for us for for jackson dart's fantasy
Speaker 3upside so i am all in on jackson dart for fantasy i i want to be i yeah well you have that choice
Speaker 4you actually can so if you really want to just do it no they they made the choice for me they hired
Speaker 3a budget magician yeah their offensive coordinator i get that and if this was a pocket passer i would be more worried but it's really the legs of jackson dart he was really worried about the running like Lamar ran he was on pace in his starts for almost 700 rushing yards that is that is an outrageous amount you can't be bad at fantasy in you know you could be Justin Fields and finish fine as a bad quarterback and he's not a bad quarterback he did that all without Malik neighbors you look at his scores last year as a starter rookie without neighbors 19.8 that's a that's a great great week that's a great 15.6 that's a good week fine then it was 23 28 20 27 26
Speaker 2I'm not certain the recipe for Jackson Dart will be the same we lost Cam Scataboo he had to scramble more run more take more chances got himself more hurt yeah so I'm not sure that the Harbaugh recipe for Jackson Dart not that anybody can stop him from you know being himself I think there's going to be an element of that but injury is going to be an element of that I think there's going to be a risk with Jackson Dart that needs to be baked into the situation certainly he's also going to be one of the more like I think more people will reach on Jackson Dart at quarterback than a lot of other guys yeah he's because he's fun he's exciting I just think getting Scataboo back having some actual pass catching weapons it felt like Dart against the world maybe Dart and Wandale
Speaker 3against the world last year I think Scat I mean obviously you want the offense to be good and Scataboo is such a good pass catcher that I don't think that that is a negative thing for Dart to me I just look at a rookie who scored 20 fantasy points a game in his starts adds Malik neighbors
Speaker 2so why goes into year two why is he being drafted in the eighth round is the question because there's
Speaker 3a lot of ways it can go wrong okay so you acknowledge absolutely this is a but in the you know where he's being picked in the eighth ninth round like who cares I'm just looking for upside there's he could go out there and be the you know the competing with Josh Allen for the
Speaker 2we'll take a break we'll count down the final six number six number six is Drake May I've got him at five Jason at seven Mike at six he was the quarterback three last year this is not tough mathematics right this is a player that performed at an extremely high level MVP consideration past you know one of the the highest passing percentage teams in football completed a mind-boggling 14 more of his passes than Caleb Williams 72 completion percentage has shown us he can go for over 4331 oh and you added AJ Brown that's that's the Drake May bull case is that you did it yep and now you add a true difference making weapon that can go up and get the ball I mean the fact he did it with the receivers he had last year to me is you know impressive
Speaker 3yeah there's not much to argue against him the only thing that is on the downside is last year his schedule was very very very easy this year the schedule will be more difficult so you're going to have to step it up when he played some of those great defenses in the playoffs they won but he did not have good performances certainly not statistically for fantasy purposes so we'll we'll have to see but I I do believe that he has all the tools and can overcome bad matchups like if you believe he's elite he's going to be good he's going to be good he's going to be good he's you know we don't worry if if uh if Joe Burrow is in a bad matchup you're not like oh no right you know sometimes you want him to be playing a great team because you want another team that can score on you so Drake Drake May is great the two negatives are can he do it against much tougher competition this year and he's not a free square anymore you're giving up a fifth round pick to
Speaker 4grab him and that's probably the highest ADP jump of anybody in our top 10 he is year over year he
Speaker 2that's higher than we have him ranked that's right so he may not be on our teams but I think the performance will be there number five Mike talk to me about Joey B Joe Burrow Joe Burrow comes in at five I got him at six so I do have him behind Drake May one spot Jason at four Mike at four you guys both got him ahead of Drake May he is the quarterback four off the board I mean we know that when Joe Burrow is healthy and has his two receivers that it's a fairly unstoppable offense and the schedule is amazing not only are they Warren Sharpe's third easiest strength of schedule for 2026 I believe I would you can verify it I believe they have the single easiest schedule for wide receivers in football so T Higgins Jamar Chase what could go wrong everything in Cincinnati but right now and they have they have done work on the defensive side both in the draft and through the draft and through the draft and through the draft and trade for Dexter Lawrence it will be a better defense but you're gonna need Joey B right you're
Speaker 4gonna need 4,500 yards from this guy 100% if Burrow's on the field it's very much like Dak except people respect Joe Burrow far more than than Dak he when Burrow's on the field he is like he's a he's a great fantasy quarterback year two 19.6 points per game follow that up with nearly 22 points per game the next year then he gets hurt 2024 back to 22 points per game and then last year of course hurt again right at the beginning of the year and the you know it's it's hard to get the signal of you know a player's emotion and how they're doing I don't know the the the vibes out of Cincinnati feel different to me this year I feel very positive the way they feel extremely positive the way and it's like we're not doing it we're not doing a contract bull crap where it's like for years of what are we doing with T Higgins and Chase and Burrow like are we gonna pay I mean of course they're gonna pay Chase but it's like when will that happen so none of those distractions are are taking place this year as far as we know everybody is healthy at the moment they have breath they have turned the team over to Joe Burrow Chase Brown being the running back speaks even more to that because
Speaker 2he's just like Chase Brown receiving skills he has receiving skills and he's
Speaker 4just he's not a he's not a Rico Dowdle where it's like oh boy this is the week where they're gonna give Rico 25 carries and Joe Burrow I really hope he gets a touchdown it no the the offense is Joe Burrow with two elite weapons and Joe Burrow is an elite quarterback I'm I am all in perfect
Speaker 2schedule oh he is Mike's quarterback one in six point fantasy leagues if you want to know how much he believes number four all right it's Jalen Hurts um this is look I will get out of the way this is this one this one's this one's hard I will get out of the way here he is at four so there's your respect so everybody that wants to jump on me for the next thing I say your respect is in the ranking okay the hard part is that you can say every single like I just said a bunch of stuff about Drake May and then I said they added AJ Brown I'm gonna say a bunch of stuff about Jalen Hurts it was his least productive fantasy season since his rookie year so basically since he was a starter that was the least productive in a point per game basis and now you lose AJ Brown that's part of the storyline here and that's part of the storyline here and that's part of the storyline here I feel like you know look this is a good franchise organization they drafted makai lemon they have dallas goddard davante smith's a stud but statistically speaking jalen hurts is two things this year he's coming off his worst season and he's at the biggest discount for fantasy so jason where are you you said it's hard give me your thought process before
Speaker 3we move to number three yeah it's hard because this is a player who has so many fantasy points scored on the ground that's that's always been his game and last year you had a player who's perennially 600 plus rushing yards 700 plus rushing yards who ended with 421 rushing yards this is a player who always has double digit rushing touchdowns because of the tush push sometimes up at 15 and last year he was down at eight rushing touchdowns so which is it is a a directional thing he's older he's running less he's not that that much of a weapon i don't know i don't believe that he's 27 years old he hasn't aged out of mobility yet i believe that kevin patulo is the worst i mean like give me matt give me matt naggy over that guy's stinks now we don't know if sean manion is great you know sometimes i remember back in the day it was like well this offensive line can't get worse oh don't you say that out loud it could maybe sean manion is just as bad as patulo but the offense was disgusting last year literally the eagles offense watching schematically was like they didn't do any there there's no creativity no scheming guys open no motion no all the things that work in the nfl seen enough motion and and sean manion is coming from systems that that work and they're going to have him under center more the manion or hurts they're going to have well either one man sean man you could sling it but hurts hurts uh will be under center like this jaylen they also have you know one of the best offensive lines that was very injured last year and should be healthy so in my estimation the tush push isn't going away they're not going to stop using it i think that he'll have double digit rushing touchdowns for sure he'll be at 500 rushing yards and he's at the biggest discount so i i think he's actually a pretty good pick in fantasy this year yeah if you're you know number
Speaker 2three i'm sorry i thought you were done mike no i'm apparently i'm no no i thought you were i it's the i think wrapping jayden into this discussion at some point will be good okay
Speaker 4it's like so you know tier wise fantasy football you have josh allen's kind of he's his own thing man and then you have the you know the kind of that batch of other elite quarterbacks jaylen hurts is the the lowest adp he i think he has the highest risk but it's still a potential difference maker number three you already did that number number three
Speaker 2so so what's funny about this is so jayden's at number three in our consensus hurts is at four burrows at five through this conversation i already want burrow that's the wild thing about this because i think the range of outcomes on burrow is not necessarily outside of injury which i mean look yeah yeah yeah any play jayden went down with injury like that can happen yeah but i think i
Speaker 4want percentage wise jayden daniels has been hurt half of his seasons yes look jayden burrows like
Speaker 2oh yeah don't say that um it was a lost season for jayden we know that i wanted the reason i hit three so soon oh crap it's half for burrow is because jayden daniels and and jaylen hurts are both in the sixth round and both to me are they're somewhat similar situations in the fact that you have a new offensive coordinator in both cities you have a quarterback who's dependent on the rushing yardage you have questions about the pass catchers in both cities to some degree and both of them are at a discount relative to their previous spot in fantasy so you know look do i think that one of the things that i wanted to do is i wanted to one of the two is probably going to work out really well for fantasy at adp yeah i mean both might but i'm sitting there with the stability of joe burrow the schedule of joe burrow the you know the the receiving group for joe burrow and i i find myself a little bit nervous i could
Speaker 3not agree with you anymore when i finished my stats for jayden daniels he was extraordinarily high he was you know in some formats he was like my quarterback one because the rushing the rushing upside is in the middle of the game so i think that's a good thing i think that's a good thing i that seven eight hundred yard range and like i said when you have that level of rushing you can't be bad at fantasy however i don't love the team outlook i don't love the offensive outlook i don't love the offensive weapons i think terry mclaurin is good but he's old he's going to be 31 this year and they don't really know who the number two is maybe they'll bring in stefan diggs but he's past his prime two so the weapons are dicey i think jayden daniels is great he's great for fantasy but he costs a lot to me when we look at this grouping of where you're taking these quarterbacks i'm in complete agreement with you andy if i'm taking a quarterback in this range it's burrow burrows burrows the best he's got the best outlook the best team dynamic the best projected point total the best weapons if i'm going for the rushing mobile upside that's why i'm all in on jackson dart let me take a running back or wide receiver here and if i'm going for the upside of this guy's going to have 800 rushing yards and kind of be the superstar for fantasy that burrow can't do that on on the ground let me take him in the ninth
Speaker 4yeah uh anything to add there mike oh just the the scramble rate was still incredibly high last year so like jayden's going to keep running we know that 11 percent of of daniel's passes were dropped which like that you know that that's fantasy points that that's not on on jayden daniels that's that will probably bounce back it's the it's the weapons that that's what freaks me out is can okonkwo because if they don't add digs it's it sounds like okonkwo will be the set the number two target who's paid maybe antonio williams sure but it's like is that is that enough to take jayden daniels with it with the rushing floor and and and keep him elite or are you just more of a a floor play where you're like i'm getting the qb7 every single i think we know
Speaker 3if jayden daniels is awesome this year if he ends up as a top three
Speaker 1quarterback the senate has opened oh what i am the senate he's gonna have to step up
Speaker 3i don't like you getting in on this oh but is he gonna step up probably not so i don't like you saying he's the skeleton key to success that's uh ben's senate everybody yeah
Speaker 2tight end but also the tight end on his own team lamar jackson comes in at number two in our rankings we all three have him at two which means that uh just you know by extension number one josh allen is number one so uh lamar and josh allen at the tippy top of the board um baltimore high projected win total favored in their first six weeks such a great pick i think they just locked up zay flowers the optimism in in baltimore is is extremely high that you know we want to see lamar like you can't you can't talk about depreciating performances in the in the aforementioned names and not talk about lamar having a down season as well i mean lamar was at 16.5 fantasy points per game it was a bad year so it now we've we've been it was very hurt last year we've been there before and and like lamar has now earned the level of respect that when he has a bad year you you can say that's just that's just not lamar but it's fair to say like he's bounced back from years where he was hurt and had lower performances to mvpc seasons being the number one overall quarterback that's what he was in 2024 he's been the number one quarterback twice where he averaged over 25 fancy points a game twice so that's what a healthy lamar jackson brings to the table last year missed time missed games lowest uh fantasy points per game lowest rushing yardage ever the rushing is the big one and it was so hurt man he was it was
Speaker 3even worse and maybe it was because of the injury when he got back from the injury the second half of the year the nine games he played he was on a 16 game pace of 345 rushing you could see it
Speaker 4you could see the way he was moving around and the decisions he was making of it where you're like oh healthy lamar jackson right there runs for 15 yards and he would turn that
Speaker 3turn it down and he'll turn 30 this year so the rushing upside is is the is the real question um obviously i i think they're i think their weapons are better they spent a couple of draft picks on some rookies zay flowers is good they've got a good running game they're good organ sure he's paid like he's great for sure so the question the question for lamar jackson who's broken fantasy two different times and basically guaranteed you a championship is will he run like lamar jackson of his career or is that high end you know seven hundred plus rushing yards is that done that's the question to me that you have to if you're drafting lamar where he is which is totally fine you have to truly believe he's just getting back to rushing and he's healthy and the reason he didn't last year was because of the injury what
Speaker 2do you put the percentage chance that josh allen finishes is the qb1 versus the percentage chance
Speaker 3that lamar does 80 if it's just versus those two i think i think 80 on the allen side josh
Speaker 2allen scores more fantasy uh jesse minner the new head coach declan doyle a much less predictable offensive quarterback coordinator coming in there's excitement from lamar about this situation they did draft a couple of rookie wide receivers to add to the bunch behind zay flowers brought back andrews but again this this offense we've seen lamar be an mvp with no pass catching options he's very much like like we've seen josh allen do it with really no pass catching options so those two are in a special category that's why they're at the tippy top of
Speaker 4this ranking the thing for lamar's rushing so last year baltimore was number one in early down rush rate and they're like not lamar like this is we're giving the ball to the yeti we're giving it to derrick henry which overall that's a it's a pretty good idea to go with but the the system so doyle's coming in from chicago this is a ben johnson type of system is what you have to project 16th in early down rush rate that means we're throwing more on first down and that's that's good for fantasy football because we're getting lamar some more numbers it is also more opportunities to run like this is we talk about jayden daniels scramble rate you can only scramble if you're given a passing attempt and the way that this offense works it wouldn't surprise me if if lamar scrambles even more uh based off of what his career averages are as as defenses have to respect things and drop back even more so i'm very bullish i look at last year of lamar i'm waving it off as this was like that was i truly the first we all are yeah but i'm saying like even the years he was hurt in in 2021 and 2022 when he played 12 games he was 20 points a game 19.7 points a game so it's i mean that's still not horrifically bad in 23 he was at 20.7 points per game and that was good for qb4 as in that that range of three years it wasn't all that different he just happened to miss some games in two of the three years i'm lamar is is is still perfectly finite because i think that's the biggest question is are you willing to forgive lamar for last year and move forward with him as your qb1 going in the fourth round I've won
Speaker 2100 m yeah and the schedule is great for him to start the year the schedule is great for Josh Allen to start the year as well in terms of being favored in five of six Allen is a machine he's the all-time leader in fantasy points per game at the position he has shown that he can do it multiple ways he was the quarterback one in 2021 with 35 passing touchdowns he was the quarterback one in 2023 with you know double-digit touchdowns on the ground 15. and he's he's only been in the 20s in passing touchdowns he was 35 plus for three straight years then he's in the 20s and it doesn't matter he's had two out of three years with the number one overall finish they have a
Speaker 3goal line running back yeah I was gonna say they added the tush push and that changed a lot you don't need the passing touchdowns if you know he's the big bodied back you know the big one just like Jalen Hurts and so when you have those double-digit rushing touchdowns like Lamar can't do that they're not using Lamar on the goal line the same he would have to like scramble out they're not going to just tush push Lamar they will do that with Josh yeah the the cheek sneak the the left-sided cheek sneak here's a cool stat um from Dwayne McFarlane on X uh this is the playoff advance rates for Josh Allen on fantasy teams on ESPN by season so 2025 last year 58 percent playoff advance rate the year before 58 the year before 62 the year before 59 the year before 49 percent the year before 51 the year before 51 and he's been all over the place sometimes he's been as high as pick 21 overall and you know as low as 30 not including like his
Speaker 4breakout years 105. so Josh Allen at 212 is just never going to be a bad pick he's and Lamar isn't
Speaker 2Lamar's QB two per ADP in the fourth the the problem there is you play with fire on the weight I mean if you look if I could always get Lamar there I just don't think that's going to be the case that's where he's settling but I think he's going to bounce around based on of course and I just feel like I'm I'd be nervous about the weight there and if you believe that there is that big of a tear jump then like Jason said it's not going to be a bad pick you don't mess that pick up that pick is not ruined you didn't draft a mistake it's not sure look Ken Walker we hope he goes it's great I have him I can't believe you're even bringing that name up as a possible mistake it's possible it's possible it's possible you can't oh Maureen Hampton it's possible absolutely that one is possible it's not also also DJ Moore has
Speaker 3added to the scene I know we haven't been bullish on DJ Moore he's looking great so far in training camp but like maybe not a negative for Josh it's not a negative to have a legitimate receiving option I mean his number one receiving option over the last couple years has been Jack squat is that your way of is that the next Mr squat yeah yeah I've never I mean clear secure is a fine player but he's not he's not a one or even a two all right we're talking top

FAQs

The Ultimate Draft Kit is a comprehensive fantasy football draft resource with player profiles, sleepers, breakouts, busts, and values. For the first time, it includes a native mock draft tool, currently live on mobile and coming to the web soon.

Isaiah Likely is rising due to potential for a featured role in the Giants' offense, familiarity with the head coach, and a big contract. He's seen as a late-round tight end option with upside, especially if you miss on elite tight ends.

Parker Washington has been Trevor Lawrence's top target in camp and performed well after the bye week last year, but concerns include competition from Travis Hunter, Brian Thomas Jr., and other receivers, which could limit his weekly consistency.

Tyler Shuck has moved up in drafts due to his rushing baseline and the Saints' investment in top receivers like Jordan Tyson and a true number one wide receiver. He's available late, making him a low-risk, high-upside pick.

The Hall of Fame game is an NFL preseason opener between two teams, typically featuring players going into the Hall of Fame. This year, the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers are playing.

The hosts suggest targeting an elite tight end early, but if you miss out, players like Isaiah Likely are viable late-round options with upside. They caution against overcommitting to uncertain players.
