Heath, what are your thoughts on the Packers' backfield? I'm very excited to get these thoughts on the Packers' backfield. I'll say, I was in bed when you sent me the text, and so it would have been unfortunate if I had been on the show last night. No, I basically will start considering Marshawn Lloyd as soon as the clock turns to round six. I think he is right in that group of borderline RB2s, that have the upside to be a high-end RB2, and have a significant amount of risk. I don't really want to draft Josh Jacobs, but if we get to the double-digit rounds, and I'm looking for lottery tickets because my running back room is really weak, then I might take a swing on him because there's no guarantee. I mean, we might see him halfway through the season. So, if we could just look on NFC where I can do the date range, just drafts from yesterday, and some of those are going to be before the news. Some of them are going to be after the news, but it was 33 drafts. Josh Jacobs went 98th, and Lloyd went, let's see, as RB29 at 80th overall. So, that's. So, I would say drop Jacobs a round or two, and move Lloyd up a round or two, that's probably where they're going to go today. Because like you said, some of those happen in the morning. Yeah, I don't think it broke until three o'clock or two o'clock or whatever it was. Okay. Good morning, Jamie. I posted a poll, if you'd like to know about when should you draft Marshall on the. When would you draft Marshall on the line? Yeah. I think I'm going to. I think no one's going to agree with me here, but go ahead. Yeah. First five rounds, 11%. This is of 2,200 votes as 11 hours ago. Um, first five rounds, 11%. Rounds six through eight, 56%. Round eight or later, 28%. Not drafting him, 5%. Okay. I had, um. Hi, Dave. What's up, dude? I know Dave wanted to share his thoughts on Caleb Johnson and Marshawn Lloyd. I do know that you are wearing the same shirt you wore last night. I was. You know what? I'm glad you pointed that out. I like this shirt, and it, uh. I think it looks good on camera. You know, it's different. I wear a lot of gray and blue and black and stuff like that. This is different. This is like kind of a, I don't know, teal-ish. All I did was wear it last night for the show. Like, I put it on for the 20-minute podcast and took it off. So, I was like, I'm going to re-wear it. I didn't know if anyone would notice, but nothing gets by Jamie. Have we met? Dave, what did you want to tell us about Caleb Johnson? I have. I, uh. First of all, I did not notice that you were wearing the same thing. Thank you. But I also don't watch the video live. Um, I. I went back and looked into my notes on both Caleb Johnson and Marshawn Lloyd, and I don't have a lot of positive things to say about Caleb Johnson. He's a gets-what's-blocked runner, tight hips, non-existent elusiveness, doesn't create much, so-so vision. The strength of his game is physicality. He's a definite fighter with the football. I didn't think he looked natural catching the ball. I don't think there's anything from the past year to suggest that anything's changed with him or his game. If you want to take him with a late-round flyer, just in case he gets an opportunity at some point in Green Bay, be my guest. But he stands out as somebody who would be a definite backup behind Marshawn Lloyd if Jacobs doesn't come back and would split with Chris Brooks. I think Chris Brooks needs to be on the late-round menu for everybody. As just one of those guys, double-digit rounds, PPR leagues, half-PPR leagues. He does have a track record of playing on passing downs. I think he will take that role, and I think he's got a chance, if Lloyd misses time, to eat into the rushing downs role. And of course, I'm going to draft Lloyd first, and I'm not taking him as high as you are, Adam. I think he's like round seven, eight. That's where I would take Lloyd. But I think Brooks is worth taking with a late-round pick, and he's probably on the waiver wire on a bunch of leagues that have already drafted. So you could go to your waiver wire, see if he's there, and pick him up before the season starts. Drop your last player and see what you get with Brooks to begin the year. And if Lloyd doesn't last that long, then Brooks could end up being someone that you could use as a flex in season. Okay. I'll just make one last point, because if you want to hear more on this, we did a bonus podcast, about 20 minutes, where we talked about this situation in depth. I'm willing to take Marshawn Lloyd. I kind of look at him like Basil Tootin and Jadarian Price, although I just thought to myself, I don't know why I would take Lloyd over Price. I like the Packers offense better than the Seahawks offense. But Zach Charbonnet is on the pup list, so Price has. That's not a surprise. But I probably should take Price over Lloyd. But whatever. That's kind of where I value him. And based on the rankings, I think it's kind of close to where Heath and Jamie value him, right? Around that time. Yeah. I looked at the players who were drafted around five and six last year and the year before, based on Fantasy Pro's average draft position. And I would say about a third of them were big difference makers. Last year, you had Mahomes, you had DeAndre Swift, Jamison Williams. I struggled even putting that category, but he ended up pretty high in the rankings. Zay Flowers, Travis Kelsey, George Pickens, Rasheed Rice. Those guys were drafted around five and six. Who else was? DK Metcalf, DJ Moore, Cortland Sutton, Sam Laporta, who was good, Xavier Worthy, Devante Smith, Tedaroa McMillan, David Montgomery, RJ Harvey, Isaiah Pacheco, Baker Mayfield, TJ Hawkinson, Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard, Aaron Jones, Travis Hunter, Bo Nix, Jalen Waddle. Not all those guys were terrible, but some of them were just fine. And then the year before that is very similar. You had like CJ Smith, Jalen Waddle, David Montgomery, David Montgomery, David Stroud, and Anthony Richardson in that group. Dalton Kincaid and Kyle Pitts and George Pickens when he wasn't that good. And Zay Flowers when he was wide receiver 36. And, you know, and there were some great players too. But I think what I'm saying is there's a pretty good chance your round five pick is going to be bad. It just, unfortunately, I hate to say that to you. That's just what history shows us. So I'm not afraid to take a risk on a guy that I think could be really good just based on his opportunity. And that's what I would say. I wanted to share with you this morning. Well, it's opportunity and offense. I mean, those are the things you're buying because you can't be buying Marshawn Lloyd because he hasn't done anything yet and he has a terrible injury track record. So you're buying opportunity, you're buying offense. And if those two things come together with the player being slightly above average, then you're going to get a good return on investment. If he's continuing to struggle with injuries, it's a waste. If he's not the best guy, as Dave just alluded to, maybe it's Brooks, maybe it's Johnson, then it's a waste. If he's not the best guy, as Dave just alluded to, maybe it's Brooks, maybe it's Johnson, then it's of jacob's situation and as dave probably not last night like you may not be getting a full season of the situation because jacob's could still play so i i think the price comparison is the most logical because of the charbonnet potential return so like if you're looking at it as opportunity for both those guys is amazing team is potentially amazing and there's this looming thing of for both of them at least potentially another player that might be better than them coming back yeah i i guess the other point i wanted to make it i think i made it but it's just like if you mess up your fifth round pick you're gonna be okay and and i would love to take lloyd in the sixth round by the way that that would be my preference here but you know i don't think you have to take him in round five i don't think i mean you certainly don't have to take him early in round five but you might feel like late in round five when when tootin comes away that um now might be the time oh and i i would guess we're gonna get something from the packers today that kind of lays out hopefully the questions are the right but hopefully lays out what they're thinking from their backfield i hope so you know whether whether it's lloyd johnson brooks all competing whether it's hey we have full faith in marshall lloyd that he's going to be our guy you know it'd be nice if they came out and said this sucks for our team that we don't have our number one running back we'll see if we get our number one running back back but we feel this guy like don't just say the group say this guy you know come out whether it's good and coast or or uh or or the floor saying we feel confident in marshall lloyd or we traded for caleb johnson because we want him to be our guy like at least you know yeah well i don't think they're gonna say the last i don't think they're gonna say that either but no uh well the only other thing i know about lloyd is you can't triple stamp a double stamp i think we've got a lot of good dumb and potential team names here if lloyd uh really takes off now a couple of updates for you if you're in the fft open well you said we were going to talk about the passing game i think that's very important for the packer well that's on our risers and fathers segment um the uh fft open leagues there's over 400 of you in it so fab's gonna start soon waiting for some of the other drafts to wrap up and i think later on in the show i'd like to just talk briefly about fab and in that league it's a little bit different you can be a little bit more aggressive but for those of you who don't know how to use fab if you're doing whether you're fft open or not if you're doing fab for the first time marshall lloyd as soon as it turns to round four i will draft luther burden wow four so wow so that's going to be ahead of who guys like mcmillan and garrett wilson well no um mcmillan i still have ahead of him burden i have ahead of garrett wilson yes um i've got him ahead of lad mcconkey um i've got him ahead of terry terry mclaurin's higher for me than he is for other people um one of my fallers we're going to talk about i just kind of swapped these two guys so i don't know if you made a reference or not i've gotten one spot ahead of jaylen wattle yeah sure and also if you want to make a davante smith versus luther burden bet you can pick the terms i have luther burden behind davante smith so are you saying you want to bet on luther burden to be better than davante smith okay there yeah no yeah i'm glad i'm just glad we got everything settled on the other bet and so you're fully committed and there's no way you're ever going to back out i finally told my wife about it so yeah what did she say about that she wasn't happy but is she gonna let you do it yeah yeah just i don't think i don't think any of us are going to be happy about it but really at the very least i think the three of us are going to be plenty happy about it she's going to let him say he's going to do it for the next three months at the very least yeah um so the guys that i flipped in my rankings i think i had them at 18 and 21 and now they're still at 18 and 21 but they just went back and forth um luther burden and ameka buka um i'm a little bit more concerned about a buka's fitness early in the season than i am luther burden and as we'll talk about with one of my risers we can just connect this and i'll just talk about all my guys all at once before anybody else talks um chris godwin was moved up for me and that could move buka moved down it sounds like like with these older players when you have the injury concerns just the fact that they get to week one in good shape and looking good and looking like they're going to be able to do it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again is a little bit of a boost so i'm feeling more confident in god when at least early in the season um so burden wide receiver 18 a buka wide receiver 21 god one's up to wide receiver 35 okay dave I still have Abuka ahead, but it's much closer than it was earlier in the off season. Remember, before Abuka had the toe injury, I was all in on him. Thought he would break out and have a monster year, maybe even be this year's JSN. I suppose that's still possible, but I'm worried about the injury lingering. I think Godwin, I like Heath's call that Godwin is a riser. I think his ADP is criminal. He's healthy now. We know that he's got time in the bank with Baker Mayfield. Those two seem to be on the same page and I would expect Godwin and maybe even Ted Hurst and maybe even Jalen McMillan and maybe even the running backs to keep that target volume a little bit down for Emeka Abuka. I still think he'll be over seven targets per game, but I think eight is out the window. That being said, Abuka, like three spots ahead of Burden in my receiver rankings, all of them top 50. I've got Abuka, then Devante, then McLaurin, then Burden, and then Parker Washington. Don't forget about that guy, but they're all right. There is like top 50 picks for me in PPR. I guess I'll get Jamie's thoughts in a second, but before Abuka's groin injury, which apparently he's back at practice moving well, right? Toe toe. No, no, I'm sorry. Burden before Burden. Oh, yes. Yes. Back. He has. Fucking good. Abuka, by the way, they're hopeful for week one for him. Did you have Adams and McLaurin, Dave, ahead of Burden? Yeah. Always. Yeah. Okay. I don't know about always, but right now I do. I can double check and see where I had them a few months ago. I can get back to you in 15 seconds. And Jamie, look at those pictures. Now that Burden's back at practice, I would take back at practice. I would take Burden. Okay. All right. Okay. And I had Adams ahead of Burden all off season long. I never knew what this gif was for, but now I know it's for when I'm able to draft Chris Godwin 98th overall in a PPR league. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, baby. Why do you say it the wrong way? Yeah, I think, so I've got a new thing. Okay. That I'm waiting to do is every time- It's gif. No, don't say gif. No. Every time you do something like this, I'm just going to move you to the bottom of the screen. Okay. Let's get back to your, well, no, Godwin, just to finish up on that. Right now, over the last week, Godwin's going 71st overall in between Carnell Tate and Cortland Sutton. Do you guys like Godwin better than those guys? Oh, yeah. Yeah. So I do, but at 71st, it's a little, I haven't quite caught up to that yet. He's a round five pick for me. Round five. Wow. Round six for me. But by the way, that's wide receiver 33. I don't know where he is in your rankings. He's 30th for me. 30th. Okay. All right. And then Alec Pierce and Quentin Johnston, who are both, over the last week on NFC, they're going about wide receiver 37 to 39. So right around DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman, Josh Downs, Michael Wilson, that group. For Alec Pierce and Quentin Johnston, why are they risers and who do you like better? So Alec Pierce is back at practice. And again, I'm not quite as optimistic that he's going to take on this massive. Target share this year, as there was some speculation earlier this summer, but he is healthy and he should be, we've kind of dropped him out of the top 100. He's firmly back in the top 100 right now. I actually have it ranked Godwin, then Pierce, then Quentin Johnston. And no, I'm not just raising Quentin Johnston because of one monster play, although that was really cool. What was really encouraging to me, and it's just, listen, we're nibbling at whatever we can get right now. But when they went to 13 personnel with Justin Herbert on the field in that game, Quentin Johnston was the wide receiver on the field. And I, we don't, I don't expect it will be the same guy every time they do that. And they're not going to do it as often as the Rams do. But I do think that that's a very good sign that when they did that in this game, he was on the field. He'll at least be part of the plans in 13. Okay. Yeah, that was 64 yard touchdown to Johnson was definitely. A note to Chiefs fans. Y'all better watch out this year. Coming, coming. Okay. There's a question from the chat from Gray Matters to me. What is the metric that they are leaning on burden so much? Where did Adam go? I can't buy it. The best, I think the best metric is that last year amongst wide receivers that had at least 50 targets. He was third in yards per run. And the two that were better than him were JSN and Puka Nakua. And then when you say, well, yeah, but it's only 50 targets. Well, DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus combined for 150 targets and they're gone. So he's not going, it's not like he's going to get 150 targets and have the third best yards per run. Probably, but he might. Yeah. All right. Yeah. He's, he's really talented guy. And yeah. And his coach loves him. Yeah. Okay. And I think he was second. Jacob Gibbs has a really good yak. Um, stat on Luther burden too. I think he may have only been second, second only to Rashi rice in that metric. And as we know, rice has like a running back air yards share. So, yeah. And I have a good yak stat, Dave, as we get into your risers here, it's about Christian Watson. So Christian Watson, since he entered the league, he averages his 4.8 yards after the catch per reception, which is amazing with a 16.1 yard a dot. Yeah. In that four season stretch, Watson has the highest yak per catch of any wide receiver with an eight, more than 14 yards, which is only 15 wide receivers. But it's just what he does. He, I think he's fifth in yards per target since 2022. Uh, so, so efficient. So you think all of the Packers other than Josh Jacobs are risers, Dave? I do. And I really am excited about the passing game. And I moved Tucker craft into the round five range because I think he's just an easy, short, short area target for Jordan love to lean on if the run game cannot get going or if they want to just have a change up. And we know what, what craft means in terms of efficiency for that offense and for his own numbers. And it sounds like he's going to be ready to go. And maybe there isn't going to be a limit on just how many snaps he plays to begin the season. So he's the one that I moved up, not necessarily the most, but the one that would get the most attention because I think he's a top 60 player. I didn't move Watson up that much, but I had him up pretty high. Anyway, he's a borderline number two, number three, wide receiver. Golden is somebody I'm very excited about. If he's taking over the Romeo Dobbs role. And if Romeo Dobbs, uh, had the highest target per route run rate for Jordan love when there wasn't Josh Jacobs on the field over the last two years, then certainly there's an opportunity here for Matthew Golden to have a big role. I'm, uh, I'm, I'm, I'm pretty bullish on him as like a round eight type pick. Is golden taken over the Romeo Dobbs role or is Christian Watson moving into the Romeo Dobbs role? And golden's taking the field stretcher, Christian, Christian Watson role. It could be a mix of both of those things. And I think a lot of teams are going to try and do that with their top two receivers is mix and match what they're capable of doing. And not anybody is going to be just an X or just a Z. And I do think that golden's just going to have an opportunity. I think both those receivers should be able to get north of six targets per game. But for, for Watson, as long as he's healthy, he could be around six and a half and this whole team could throw more. And six and a half could be low for Watson and six targets per game could be low for, for Matthew Golden. If you're watching on YouTube right now, I abs like this is exactly the dilemma for anybody using numbers, trying to project my Matt LaFleur wide receivers. Because if you look at the, at the CBS projections, it's, it's 88 targets for Christian Watson and 77 for Matthew Golden. It's probably about 90 for Tucker craft. But I mean, that's torture. Because it's a completely different offense now, Heath. Or not completely different, but it should be. It's going to be altered if they can't run the football or even if they can run the football a little bit. They're going to have to come off of it unless Marshawn Lloyd is as good as Josh Jacobs has been. You have a run game that's suspect. You have a defense that might not be as good to start the season. And you have all this talk about maybe putting more on Jordan Love's plate before all this happened. And so now you're looking at it as we've been waiting for concentrated targets for this receiving core. And you're taking away 135 from last year. So I think even if you just give those three guys four guys you want to throw Tucker Crafton those four guys just increased opportunities. I don't think to his point I don't think we're getting 120 plus for maybe even one guy. But I think you're going to see opportunities increase for all of them. And hopefully they're just as efficient. For me I go back to 2023 when Jordan Love was a good fantasy quarterback. And you had a defense that wasn't great. And you had obviously a run game that wasn't great because that was the last time as Dave referenced. The last couple of times we've talked about this. The last six or seven years that Matt LaFleur has been the head coach. A running back has been good. 23 was the year that it was not good in Aaron Jones' final season. My favorite Packers receiver based on cost is Jaden Reed by a mile. And I love him. He's my favorite sleeper after all this stuff has unfolded of any position. Because the value that he is right now is probably going to rise because I think everybody's going to recognize that they're going to throw more. But love him a lot more than Golden. I think there's a huge opportunity for him because as we saw when he was healthy he's going to get carries now. And so that's going to be I think a big plus. I think that's going to be a big plus. I think that's going to be a big plus for his profile which is what we saw in 2023. If he stays healthy, that's a big thing for him. If he stays healthy because he has a hard time staying healthy. His last 23 games where he's had at least 5 targets. Very small number. At least 5 targets. 13.5 PPR points per game or more in 15 of those 23. And he averages 16.1 PPR points over that span. Give him opportunities. He is going to smash. He is going to destroy his ADP. I'll do you one better on that. So in 10 career games with at least 6 targets. 11 plus PPR points in all 10. 13 plus in 6 of the 10. 7 career games with 7 or more targets. 15 plus PPR points in 6 of the 7. And Green Bay. I went back and looked at every single one of these games. They had a hard time running the ball in 6 of those games. And Jaden Reed just was able to pick up some of the slack. So I talked about Tucker Kraft being one of those guys. And I do believe that Tucker Kraft can be one of those guys that can help alleviate some pressure on the run game. Reed is the other one. And if his ADP. Where is his ADP now guys? If it's really low. Then Jamie is spot on. Spot on. And maybe he's even on the waiver wire in a few weeks. I'll tell you what it was yesterday on NFC. It was wide receiver 43. 91st overall. So that goes Pittman. Yeah, but they're very wide receiver heavy for what it's worth. Pittman. Josh Downs. DeJuan Stribling. Jaden Reed. Wandale Robinson. Matthew Golden. I see 116 on Fantasy Pros. I'm just going to say. One other thing. And this is the poo-poo. But that 2023 season that Jamie talked about. And I think that might be the answer is just move Jordan Love up. Maybe I need to look at that. I would take Jordan Love over Patrick Mahomes right now. Oh, wow. Yeah, I could see that. But that 2023 season, Jordan Love threw 579 passes. We would freaking love that. Of those 579 passes, Romeo Dobbs led the team with 96 targets. Then Jaden Reed had 94. Then the two tight ends combined for 86. Then the wide receiver three had 58. And three more guys had 40 to 50. Who are the three other guys that had 40 to 50? Dontavian Wicks. Okay. Aaron Jones. Okay. I'm sorry. There's two. Okay. And those are the two. And then there were three other guys that had 20 to 30. So are we maybe. Are we maybe. Are we maybe. Are we maybe. I'm not going to see the consolidation that we thought between. I don't know. I hope so. Golden. Well, I mean, look, they, they, they just add, they just add John who Smith and we know he's a pass catching tight end. And you know, our guy, Brandon Howard, he's been drafting Savion Williams for years. Wait a second. Yeah. I don't really think Johnny Smith is going to be, I mean, I'm hoping that they must grave is hurt, right? Aren't two of their tight ends hurt, right? Now I'm not, I'm just, I'm just saying names that are going to be to Heath's point. Like they, they, they use other bodies. That's kind of been the MO here, which is the issue. So I agree with Heath. I think Jordan love is going to be great at the same time. Matthew Golden's a first round pick that they have to sort of justify and get going a little bit. They just pay Jaden Reed this off season. Tucker craft was amazing to start last year. So there's, there's things here that should work. And again, hopefully we'll get opportunities, increased opportunities individually, but also collectively to, to Jordan loves benefit because as noted last night, this division is awesome. Now from an offensive standpoint, this is not a black and blue division anymore. This is if the Vikings offense is what it could be. The lions offense is great. The bears offense is great. Packers have to keep up. Yeah. And they got a big test week one against Minnesota. Yep. They were 15th and pass attempts that year before they got Josh Jacobs. So yes, they spread it out a lot, but like, can you post a Dan? I don't know how to, the whole thing there at the bottom. But yeah, you're not going to win a lead because of golden or read. You are correct. You are. That's why they're called sleepers, not breakouts. Yeah. However, every year we get a handful of guys who are drafted around nine or later, which is pick 96 or later that finish in the top 24, not going to necessarily win you your league, but Brian Thomas jr. Probably won you your league a few years ago. Right. But if Watson hits, he's a league winner. I mean, he just, you've seen that enough Jaden read just, and I agree because, and Watson's, at least showed last year, he can get a 28% target per hour run rate or whatever. Jaden read since 2022. When Watson entered the league, Jaden read in 2023, Jaden read is leads all wide receivers in fantasy points per target. And Christian Watson is third because of his rush attempts. No fantasy points per target. You think that counts the rush attempts? I think it's probably counting the fantasy points he scored on rushes. Oh, okay. I'm not sure, but, but he's, you know, but he also scored like he scored like 13 touchdowns his first two seasons. Or something like that last year, he only had one end zone target, but before that he was, you know, fairly involved. And, um, and he is going to rush the ball. As Jamie said, like he is really good at it. He is the one I'm willing to overpay for. He's the second most rushing yards since he entered the league among wide receivers, I believe behind Depot Samuel. Um, all right. So let me get throw out some names then. The defense has a great player and Aiden Hutchinson. Everything else is kind of just decent. They could be in a lot of shootouts. We've talked about how many games are going to play indoors. Jared golf is a top 12 quarterback for me now. So I'm, I'm happy to take it. Oh dude, it's great. I just, I just wish I could find room in my top 12 for Purdy also, but there's just so many quarterbacks that are, that are really exciting. And it just leads to waiting and finding that good value. Like we've talked about for the last six months. So golf is absolutely in the range of QBs to look for late. I would take them ahead of Matthew Stafford now and could easily see him having one of his best years ever. Okay. So. Golf. Yeah. That's kind of where he's, he's going in between Stafford and Purdy on NFC over the last week. I'd rather have him than both. Let's try to fire through a couple more before we take a break here. Ramon Dre, Stevenson over the last last week on NFC. He's RB 27. He's just after Travion Henderson. So it goes Travion Henderson, Ramondre Stevenson, Jonathan Brooks as RB's 26, 27 and 28. He's around six pick and I'm actually very comfortable with him as an RB two to settle for when I get to that point of Jadarian Price, David Montgomery, Basialtoon. He's in that group and he's ahead of Marshawn Lloyd for me. He's ahead of Jonathan Brooks for me. The Steelers running backs. There's just too much good stuff about him and not enough good stuff about Travion Henderson and I'm no longer worried about Ramondre Stevenson fumbling and losing his gig. I think he's going to be the 1A for the Patriots for the foreseeable future. The fact that they added AJ Brown means that safeties can't play up on the line like they did last year should open up for better efficiency for Ramondre Stevenson. I like getting him. I don't mind even early round six in full PPR. I'm sorry. Could I just go completely off subject for a second? Yeah. Is this about me putting Jaden Daniels as a riser? No. Good. I think he's going to end up being the guy behind Camp Scataboo in New York and I'm starting to get very afraid that the Giants are just going to make this a muddled backfield where there isn't one guy that you can look at and say, "Okay, he's the 1A." I think it's going to be mixing and matching all year long until injuries/bad play weed out players from being impactful. And for what it's worth, Najee's looked good. He looked good in the joint practices against Miami. Reports after that practice say that Najee's looked good. We saw him in the preseason. I think that he's worth a late round flyer just to stash on the bench and see what happens the first few weeks of the year. Chris Olave is a riser for you right now on NFC over the last week. He is wide receiver 11 in between Nico Collins and Malik Neighbors. Is he 11th for you? Where is he exactly? I know that he's a number one wide receiver for me. I've got him at 9. So I've got him ahead of Nico. I've got him ahead of Pickens. I've got him ahead of Neighbors. I have him ahead of Rice. Just fully expect him to begin the year dominating the target share for New Orleans. This is one of the teams that we've identified all along is suspect defense, really good offense. We know that they're going to play at a fast pace. We know that Shuck was great for Olave when Shuck went under center last year. I think that maybe I'm drafting Olave a little bit too close to his ceiling if he's in round two, but I think he can get there again. He's a really good wide receiver. Talented arm finally throwing to him and not a ton of competition for targets there. And I don't know when Jordan Tyson's going to come back, how soon he'll be acclimated into the offense, and how serious of a threat he'll be to take away a number of targets from Chris Olave. Okay. You're the high guy on Olave at 9. Heath and Jamie have him 11th behind Nico Collins behind. Do you guys have him as a round two pick or do you think that that's cuckoo? I got him at 22. 24. Okay. So I'm a little bit ahead of you guys on him. Fine with it. I mean, look, the whole group of receivers, it's such a basically who you like best versus like our arguments for and against because you can make so many points on either side that make sense. And so I think what it comes down to is like when Jordan Tyson returns, which is such a gamble at this point, how much does that impact Olave? Because we really saw what his numbers were last year with Rahid Shaheed, who I think we could all agree Tyson's a better player or should be a better player than Rashid Shaheed. I hope so. When he was basically a solo act, he was as you said, a monster. Can he continue to do that if Tyson plays? Okay. Next up is Parker Washington. He is currently is a riser for Dave. He's currently wide receiver 26 over the last week on NFC in between Christian Watson and Terry McLaurin. I have a problem. I can't stop drafting Parker Washington and he's been like on that round five six fence for me all offseason. And now he's starting to get close to the round four or five fence, which is nuts. But I really love the outlook for him. I think he's going to lead the Jaguars and targets catches yards touchdowns. I'm not 100% sure on but usually if you're getting a lot of looks from the quarterback, you're going to find your way into some touchdowns to maybe only get six on the year, but could have 80 catches and like 1100 yards on top of it. I'd be really excited about that. Yeah, let's try and get him in round five and not round four and even better if you can get him in round six and just the best receiver to get in Jacksonville. He's one of those guys that I've tried pretty or not have a take on, um, all season, because I think it's, because it's going to be hilarious either way. It's either going to be like, how did you miss all of these signals? He's obviously a star or LOL. How did you fall for this? Yeah. I feel like we could say that about like a dozen receivers this year. I mean, I think Luther Burton's probably one of those too, but I agree. A little better pedigree for Luther Burton. Yes. I agree. And Washington, you know, there was a report that Travis Hunter has been playing almost exclusively defense over the last two weeks, which is good for Washington. It was that way in the joint practice against Tampa too. How would you rank these three players? Cam Scadaboo, Christian Watson, Parker Washington. I've got Washington ahead of them all. I have Scadaboo next Watson after that. Really close between Parker and Scadaboo. Jamie, all within 10 picks for me. Same. Yeah. I'm in that same thing. And Burton ahead of them all. The names again. I'm sorry. Scadaboo, Watson, Parker Washington. Who am I drafting for us? Yeah. That's probably still Scadaboo, but it's Watson and Washington right after. John Stripling is a riser for Dave. Yeah. He has been all training camp long. The reports out of San Francisco were good. The preseason film was good to very good. And you just can't help but feel like he's got a locked in role as an outside receiver in this offense where he's sharing the field with a bunch of older receivers, who are definitely capable of either being inefficient or breaking down. And I just love the idea of drafting them late. I'm not one of these guys that's reaching for him and round seven or round eight. I saw a league where he went in round six that put my jaw on the floor. I think he's more of like that round nine type of target in that same range for me as Jaden Reed ahead of Kelsey in that same range with Coker and digs and downs. Like a good bench wide receiver. You're just going to have to be a little bit patient with him. And if you see him after that, then get him and put them on your bench. And I think you give him a month. And if he ends up playing a lot for the 49ers, maybe without a huge target share, you just hang on to him. So Lewis was tuned into the show when I told him we were talking about the pick and picked RJ Harvey. So I hope that I don't end up feeling bad about that. Trey Tucker, Dave is wide receiver 59 right now. Late round flyers, nothing more than that. Don't have to feel compelled to draft him, but I think he's going to be the best receiver in Las Vegas and the second best target getter in that offense. Do you like him better than Denzel Boston and or Jacoby lane? Definitely over lane. And I believe I have them over Boston too. Okay. Kayshawn booty. Do you like Trey Tucker or Kayshawn booty? Tucker. All right. Booty booty sets up to be the number two target getter. And he's going to be the number two target getter. Houston. We know that Jaden Higgins is out for the year. You can take the top off the defense and another player who's, who's looked really good. Honestly, the last two training camps and he wasn't necessarily a big target getter in new world in new England, excuse me last year, but they moved on from him because they didn't want to pay him. And now Houston's got him. And I would imagine in a contract year, he'll have opportunities to ball out booty or Schultz getting more targets. What do you think? Schultz Schultz might get more, but he's going to be the number two target getter in New England. He's not going to do much with them compared to Kayshawn. Chris Bell. All right. Welcome back. And it's amazing because like, the ACL injury, man, people are coming back from that and it's not necessarily a big deal. Like his acceleration is still really good. And this is a giant wide receiver. So I could see him. You might have to wait till November, but I could see him becoming a thing for this dolphins offense. Probably of all the receivers that we've said in the last four minutes, the guy you don't have to draft, but can pick up off waivers when you've got a dead roster spot. Okay. I'm nervous about where the commander's offense is going now because of the offensive line. I'm hoping that they can get most of that line healthy, but a huge question mark at left tackle much rather have Jalen hurts at this point. Whereas two weeks ago, they were back to back for me. Okay. You know, if you look at the NFC ADP for Jaden Daniels, he's going after Caleb Williams. He's going after Justin Herbert. Yeah. I think going after Justin Herbert is the right move. Wow. This is, this guy could rush for 900 yards. That's the thing you want upside position. Yeah. Yeah. But Herbert can run a little bit too, and he could throw for 35 touchdowns. Yeah. All right. Like he's been around five for me for a few weeks, but it's like hard to justify him over some of these other guys that are in timeshares that are in offenses that could be just as good, if not better. Like, I just don't know how much of a time. I don't think he's going to be playing on third downs like he did last year. That's kind of weird. No chance. Unless it's third and one. I mean, I understand Najee Harris has looked good. Najee Harris, we know who Najee Harris is, and he's coming off a tourniquet lease. It's not so much, though, about Najee Harris, though. It's the whole collective. I don't think they're going to matter. I mean, if Cam Scadaboo can't beat those guys out, like Devin Singletary better not take Cam Scadaboo off the field. Tyrone Tracy? I don't know, man. You hear me say this all the time. We think these guys suck. Coaches love when guys do the small things the right way. What does Cam Scadaboo do? Does he fumble a lot? I mean, he doesn't. He tried to take out his own defenders. I mean, that pisses coaches off. Well, there's been different accounts of that, as you saw. Well, when he called him an infectious disease because he obviously did something to cause an issue at practice. However you want to slice it up, whether it's the one report about he's been pissing them off, or the one report about just that he did it that day. He obviously has done something to annoy his coach and annoy his defensive players and maybe not do everything right in meeting rooms or whatever. And they just say, Devin Singletary is a veteran that does this. And Najee Harris is a veteran that does that. What did Najee do his entire career? He never fumbled. You know what? As a Giants fan, if they start playing Devin Singletary over Cam Scadaboo, I'm just going to have to pick a new freaking team. Okay. You said this. That's going to be what? I mean, two-minute drill. No, that's fine. Two-minute drill is going to be Devin Singletary. And that's what it's been. If you look at their talent and their personnel, Cam Scadaboo has to be so- I think short yardage will be Najee. No. I'm not sure about that. Cam Scadaboo is the man in short yardage. You cannot tackle this guy. That is his best thing. And by the way, I don't think I've drafted Scadaboo once in a real league. I have been out on Scadaboo. But if he's going to start falling like a full round later, because he was a round four pick, we start talking middle round five. His ADP was round three last week. Okay. Yeah. That's insane. I never liked it there. Nope. And I understand the bus potential. I totally see what you guys are saying. I just think the Giants would be stupid. I basically think like Scadaboo would have to seriously blow it, either with his personality or whatever he's doing, which he might be doing, or just his performance. But they better give him the opportunity to be their lead running back. Did they just keep the four guys on the roster? They did. Yeah. They cut Eric Gray. I mean, that's telling. It is telling. Because none of those guys are special teams guys, maybe outside of Singletary. Yeah. What do you expect? Do you expect him to have two running backs who are special teams guys? No, but usually you have one. Yeah. I think Singletary will probably be. I mean, probably. Maybe it's Cam Scadaboo. Maybe it's Tracy. Maybe a good gunner. Yeah. Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if they're in talks to Trey Tracy, though. Travion Henderson's a follower for Dave. Yeah. That's just the inverse of Ramondre Stevenson moving up. I want to talk about this one. Rishi. Rice is a follower for Dave. He's currently on NFC wide receiver 14 in between two terrific wide receivers goes Devante Smith, Rishi Rice, Zay Flowers. I've got Rice ahead of Smith and Flowers. He's just moved down for me throughout the entire training camp slash preseason period because I've bought into Kenneth Walker more and more. And I don't think there's going to be more than maybe four games this year where both Walker and Rice will have monster games. I just don't think it'll, it'll play out that way. I think if Walker's running the ball, well, I think if he's catching screen passes, it's all stuff that's going to take away from Rishi Rice. I knew I was, I don't mind him as like a early round three pick in full PPR later than that non PPR. It's one of like my favorite things. If I have Gibbs or Bijan and I can get two of Nico Pickens, Collins, a lot of a Nico or Nico. I'm sorry. Um, like, oh, Rice, like the fact that, that he's fallen that far is awesome, right? It's hard. It's hard to take him in full P or it's hard to take Devante over him in full PPR just because of the potential for, I mean, there's also the, the upside, the contingency upside. Kenneth Walker doesn't exactly have a gleaming track record of playing 17 games. He did last year because he was splitting reps. But if there's, if there are going to be games for walkers on available for Kansas city, then Rishi Rice is going to go right back to nine targets a game. It's interesting that you're giving. I mean, Walker, the injury problem and not rice, the injury problem. Yeah. I mean, sure. That's part of the contingency downside for rice. I don't think he's around to pick anymore. That's it. I just don't, I just don't buy the argument that you add a running back. It could make a wide receiver worse. Okay. Two years ago, the Eagles added Saquon Barkley. He ran for 2000 yards. Didn't really hurt AJ Brown's targets. I don't think, I mean, maybe I'm wrong last year. The, the bears got so much better at running the football and, and they had a better passing game too. I mean, I just think their offense, the offense is going to be better. The seven target per game guy in that offense at wide receiver. Well, they didn't, I mean, they spread the ball around, but no, they did with Loveland at the end of the year. Yeah. That's the tight end. I'm with you, Adam. I don't think Ken Walker is the problem for rice. I think rice is the problem for rice. If he's not, if he's not physically right, then we have an issue. And that's, I think the concern is that people looked at the videos and saw, Oh my God, look, he's slow. He can't separate all these things, which may be true. But if he's, if he's on the field, healthy playing there, there's not anybody. Anybody else does Kelsey's 36 and right. Worthy is not proven anything yet. And look, I, I, I'm, I'm excited about Cyrus Allen, but I don't think Cyrus Allen's a problem for Russia. Right. So I think as long as rice is there, he's going to command targets. What he does with those targets. Is he still the touchdown guy? Okay. You can, you know, nitpick all those things. And maybe that's where Walker comes into play, but like to run away from rice. And I'm not saying Dave's doing this, but like to run away from rice because of Walker. That's a mistake. I, I, rushy rice has never really been able to separate. Right. I think he did early in his career. Yeah. I don't know. Um, last two years, I haven't found much evidence. He's averaged 18.7 PPR fantasy points per game in his last 17 healthy games, which is only one game. Um, okay. Ridiculously high target share. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, in those 17 games on pace for 163 targets and, you know, he probably, he might, by the way, he might struggle week one. He struggled against tough matchups last year, gets Denver in week one. So there's that, but I don't think that should matter. A Mecca Buka. We've talked about Jordan Tyson's a follower for you. Are you taking, now you had a couple of risers, like you had, um, Trey Tucker, Kayshawn booty and Chris bell. Are you taking them ahead of Jordan Tyson? Let me double check where they are in my rankings because the one appealing thing about Tyson is you can draft him and stash him in an IR spot. I do have. I, right. Uh, Tucker and booty. I do have just ahead of Tyson. Uh, I also want to say that I lied about not having drafted Scataboo. I feel bad about that. Cause I drafted him in the podcast league. Uh, what round 10th pick of round four in a 14 team league. Okay, good. So that's a 50 second, three, four points overall. That's right about where I am ranked. All right. Um, so we're so Jordan Tyson, uh, Harold fan and junior and Travis. Kelsey are two followers for you, Kelsey, for the same reasons as rice, but much worse. Like his target share could really fall off a cliff. How many targets are you projecting for Kenneth Walker? That's what I'm saying. He's taking targets for rushy rice. I don't think they throw as much as they have in the past. They've become the reason why I've started to sag a little bit on, on Patrick, my homes. Okay. And fan. And we talked about, I'm, I'm becoming bullish on Casey conception. Really think he could be like very good. Yeah. Okay. Well, that's good. Heath, uh, Sean Tucker got a one year, $2.5 million deal to stay with the bucks, which is actually a pay cut and I shouldn't be on the bottom right here. So, um, yeah, you lied. Yeah. I think that anybody who's drafting Bucky Irving hopes that it doesn't matter. And from their point of view, it's a good sign that Tucker had to take a pay cut to stay on the team. It is just a little bit concerning because both Kenneth Gainwell and Sean Tucker had a lot more carries inside the five yard line than Bucky Irving. And in fact, everyone who had a carry inside the five yard line last year had, had more carries than Bucky Irving. So I, I, I think that the trap back risk is a little higher. I'd still take him over Scataboo, but, um, it's, it's there. He, he could just be kind of a between the twenties early down guy. I got a lot of news items here. Most of them don't really matter, but let's pick the ones that do. Unfortunately, this matters. Hate to see this. Jamie Keenan Allen arrested for DWI, um, to just from a fantasy standpoint, unfortunately to be cold about it. Sorry, but, but I'm not going to be worried about that. I always hate these news items. Um, did this change anything for you with the Colts? Well, Well, two things did. I mean, one, Alec Pierce being cleared and ready to go on top of Keenan Allen getting in trouble off the field less than two weeks into his tenure with the Colts. It just doesn't feel like, is the risk worth the reward for a 34-year-old wide receiver? So you wonder, are they going to let this play out? Is there going to be a suspension? How is this all going to work for the Colts passing game? But for somebody who was worth a late-round flyer while Pierce was on the pup list, now I don't think he's worth it. Do we move Downs up or anything like that? I mean, I think if you were in on Josh Downs, you should stay in on Josh Downs. If you were out on Josh Downs, you're probably not going to be out on Josh Downs. Keenan Allen's probably still going to play. I don't think they're going to cut him. They probably would have done it yesterday, but maybe if there's a suspension, they decide to move on. It's just a matter of how much were they just waiting? Were they just waiting for him to be ready and then signing him that this was the plan all along? And they're willing to just put up with this off-field scenario? Or is it like, hey man, we value your service, but can't be doing this. Bye-bye. Didn't they cut Nick Westbrook yesterday? They did. Which wasn't probably ever going to matter anyway, but he might have mattered if Keenan Allen was gone. I agree with you, Adam. I hate talking about this. In some situations, I pretty much just read what Drew Davenport writes about the league's policy, and he seemed pretty skeptical that anything would happen NFL-wise to Keenan Allen before this situation is resolved. It sounds like he was parked at the time that it happened. It was, yeah. Also, Drew Davenport does not, from what I read this morning, does not have Josh Jacobs on his draft board. Right. He's staying away from Jacobs. For reasonable reasons. Keenan Allen in full PPR is like round 12 plus, and if he ends up being suspended, you just cut him. I know that they like Ashton Doolin, and they drafted a guy, Deion Burks, and those guys made the team. And that's why Keenan, Westbrook Keenan, is no longer around in Indy.
