Fantasy Football - Players to Trade For & Trade Away - Podcast for 9/30

The podcast discusses key trade opportunities in fantasy football based on performance, injury risks, and roster dynamics. Olly Gordon and Jalen Hurts remain uncertain due to injury concerns, while Brian Robinson emerges as a low-rostered sleeper with strong value on a struggling Patriots offense. George Pickens, despite a lack of touchdowns, shows strong target and efficiency metrics and is positioned for a breakout in the upcoming schedule. Jeremiah Love, a top-five draft pick, is highlighted as a breakout running back with high targets and usage, making him a prime trade-in candidate. Chase Brown, though off to a slow start, has high opportunity numbers and is projected to rise in value. Christian Watson is viewed as overvalued due to injury history and low touchdown output, suggesting a trade-down opportunity. Brock Purdy, while reliable, is seen as expendable given the QB landscape and injury risks. Matthew Golden is recommended as a safer, high-value alternative to Watson with comparable production. The team also emphasizes the importance of context—such as dynasty goals and injury risks—when evaluating trades, noting that flexible, data-driven strategies outperform blind value chasing. A new feature on the Foot.com platform allows users to adjust dynasty rankings based on whether they prioritize short-term wins or long-term growth, enhancing trade decision-making. Overall, the episode promotes strategic, injury-conscious, and data-informed trade decisions over relying on hype or initial projections.

Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, welcome in. We're over here reacting to all the waivers. I need more excited. It's not fair. We had, I mean, we're in a bunch of leagues and the Olly Gordon Express took place. Holy moly, I mean. Every league I'm in, he's going for over 80 fab, which to me is insane. Maybe look, it's tough out there in the streets and you want. Well, that's a Dolphins running game. You would if it was HN out there, obviously, and we believe in HN out the Olly Gordon. He was a prolific, not HN. He was a prolific collegiate running back. He's a three down kind of guy. All I'm saying is I was trying to think of what a seventh round running back. Well, let me ask you this if the pros loved him. Well, okay, was he seventh round? Let me double check. I don't check my work. I remember he was definitely talked up and then fell sixth round. I apologize. Much different. Let me ask you this, though. If Bruce Hall was out for the year, and Braylon Allen is on the waiver wire for the Jets, right? Braylon Allen goes for more than 82, right? Yeah, I mean, you probably go right around now. The problem part of the and Isaiah Davis will get work this week with the Jets. Part of the problem, I think, is not everybody is aligned on Olly Gordon V. Jalen, right? Correct. And we are not 100% certain about that situation. Jalen right was out with a foot injury higher on the depth chart. Olly Gordon, they talk well of him. I've always liked the film. But that's the unknown. That's why I'm not. That's why on the show yesterday. I'm like, I'm not dropping 80 on a player on the worst offense. Well, second worst offense. New England. What up? I think it is 100% because it's a season ending injury. Yeah, bet. I get it. I'm not saying it's worth 82. I didn't bid that. You know what I mean? I had HN. I bid 25. My bid was 25 in the league. I had HN. I wasn't willing to go harden the paint there for the Miami offense, necessarily. But I'm just trying to think of the rest of the season. There's only a handful of not rostered players. Most of the most of the backups are rostered that aren't available out there like the high prolific big time names that are, you know, the image Johnson, right? Oh, sure. Like, I mean, obviously if if Ken Walker went out there, it went out and image Johnson's on way. That's 100 dollar fab. But it's like the guys where you, you feel confidence that they would take over and that they would be very usable. Like Brian Robinson. I mean, I don't know what it's roster percentages, but I have to imagine it's. Yeah, Brian Robinson will go for a ton. That's not an offense. We love either. But it's not as good as it's better than the vision is better than the dolphins. You know, who's not better than the dolphins, you know, who scored fewer points than the dolphins. Brian Robinson's roster is way low. The Patriots. I will. Patriots are the only team that scored fewer points than the dolphins this year. You guys should pick up Brian Robinson. It's 33% rostered on sleeper. You guys being our listeners. Yes. Not just the two people you're sitting across. He's rostering in our league yet. So yeah, a lot of, you know, our chop league. We had big money spent on Pukin Akua, which is a scary spend. He went for over 500, right? Scary spend for chopped because anytime there, you know, it's like if you then don't get him this week and lose in our chopped. It was a bad. He's probably not playing this week. But another like in our chop league, a lot of players that went this week were players with long term question marks. Like Malik neighbors. What's he worth in a chop league? Because what is he rest of season? He ended up going for 200 on a thousand dollar budget, which double nines can take care of it. Double nines. Yeah, because he's 18 now. Yeah, talking about McCarthy. Oh, I didn't see that. His number 18. Yeah. You thought nine was good. Just wait. Yeah. The second time. Yeah, that's two. That's why we have a trade oriented show today. We're going to talk about some trade for trade away players on today's episode. We'll preview the Thursday night game, jump into the mailbag as well news to catch you up on. Let's start there. News and notes from around the league. Bears coach Ben Johnson said we'll see how it plays out this week when asked about who will start at quarterback and week four. The bears play the jets this week has. It has to be that way. You can't have. Case kingdom performed the way that he did on a Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles and just automatically throw. Secret agent man in there as your back and your backup. You have to at least evaluate something. Yeah, so this was not in the context of the potential return for Caleb, because that's still weeks away. Correct. So yeah, if I if I'm the bears, there's no way I don't play case kingdom this week. I would be shocked if that's not the decision. And yeah, go ahead. I would say I would probably put kingdom out there. But the the percentage chance that case kingdom goes out for this game. And it is the worst thing that you've ever seen. Not impossible. Not impossible. And the jets are they're playing okay. Jaylen Macmillan on injured reserve for the Buckeneers. This dude's body does not like football. No. So yeah, unfortunately. He's flashed a few times when he's been on the field, but that's been also been a few times. Yeah, so Ted Hurst. He continues to get 70 plus percent of the snaps. I picked him up in legal record. He he'll get opportunities. We won't have Baker. You traded him to me. Did you click the button? I'm about to. I was wondering if you do that because you have too many tight ins. Nobody's been outraged. Jason is trying to he's trying to keep four plus tight ins on his roster. Our league, which nobody knew apparently Andy might have known this. No one else in our league knew that we had roster. We've literally had the conversation before on the show that you shouldn't have limitations on transactions and who you like to me that's stupid. I'm going to bring it to a vote is dumb, but apparently I have found out that we do in our league of record. You can only have a maximum of three tight ins and I want more honestly, I want five in today's NFL. I mean, so what is the trade? I'm not. Yeah, I did you take it? So because I literally went to make a transaction and put a wide receiver in and it said, Oh, I'm over the limit. I have four tight ins, which what was the trade? The trade was I needed to get rid of them. So I traded Darren Waller for one dollar of fab and Ted which yeah, to your point of us putting a cap on him and you can have who would you rather play this week? Exactly. Darren Waller by a billion. Yeah, Darren Waller or Tyler Higby. Look, I have no problem with changing that rule. I just it's been funny because it's been back to back weeks where you like you signed three tight ins or whatever. You you talked about this last week and then you're like, Oh, what what happened? I can't do it again. Honestly, I assume that the sleeper system would not let me pick up more than the limit. If the limit is three, it wouldn't let me pick up a fourth. I think that's I think that's fair. And if we need to change it so you can stockpile your future. There's so many out there. I want the funniest part is I think two sets of your tight ins aren't they like. Like I got Higby and Ferguson combo. Yeah, Ferguson and Parkinson too and just and Alan don't tempt me with a good time. Go full Rams. I mean the NFL is not putting a limit on the Rams. Right. Oh, okay. Tell me I can't play. Oh, five personnel. Come on. Oh, I love this. Um, I don't love this news though. Packers placing Jane Reed on injured reserve. He tweeted 11 out. It looks like it's indefinite to season ending. We don't know for certain, but that's a neck injury. It was serious. And Jane Reed, at least according to his Instagram, seems like he's not going to be here for the near term at all. It'll be interesting because we're going to talk about some players on today's trade app trade segment that relate to the Green Bay situation. So we'll save it. We all say stupid stuff sometimes. Yeah, we do, Mike. That's a good point. You would know better than most. I will just letting you know, like you don't have to say something stupid today. I'm not going to say anything stupid. Okay. I'm going to say something tempered and we'll last. We'll last the people. I'll say something stupid. Perfect. Yeah. Dan Quinn said you're going to read Andy's straight away. If don't take it personally. There's context to trade away. Jayden Daniels would be considered limited if it was a full practice today. I saw a picture of him. He's got a new sturdy left arm brace. Oh, yeah. Something you could have been doing this whole time. Rashad White dealing with a shoulder injury receiving treatment for it. They signed Austin Eccler. And then Jayden Waddle is, quote, believed to be fine despite being seen in a walking boot on his right foot following the game. Classic preventative walking boot. Yeah, I mean, it didn't work out well for the cocker walking boot. Yeah, I guess it was a different injury. I don't know. But preventative walking boot. Put them all in them. If that's the case, if we need to keep these feet safe. Yeah, I mean just armor up like these guys during the week living, you know, does anyone have Monday through Saturday and in full iron man gear business proposal for you guys. Yeah Designer walking boots. Oh designer. Yeah, all because when they're coming down like on game day and they're in their swag when you got the big one Where it's like all these velcro straps you like yeah, that's ugly. It's medical grade. That's Nike. Where you at? Nice to put a swoosh. Oh, Nike. I just gave you with the proposal. Oh, I'm gonna work my own brand. I just got to buy this from us. Yes, we just patent patent patent. You think a bedazzle? What are you thinking? I mean some of them patent leather. Yeah, we were I were icing them out for sure. That would change my perspective. I was like, yeah, he looks hurt, but he looks cool. Jayden Waddle I do he's the only player we're fine can correlate to already being hurt. So we'll see what happens there. The the waddle situation. He should be okay, but he's kind of a scary dude in terms of we haven't seen consistency from Waddle since the Tyree kill Miami year. Right, even though we know how good he is. It's kind of a weird thing and he gets banged up. But Okay, any other news coming through. I do want to let people know we have some news on our site. Like if you're an ultimate foot plan member, for the first time ever, we have dynasty startup rankings available in season, and not only that and they're frequently updated. They're used in our trade analyzer, which has Dynasties specific trade advice. But there's also a new option and I'm so this is so happy about because people want to know, and this has been the story of our show forever, that context matters. Your leg mates, what your plan is in a dynasty league. It not all rankings are made equal. And so we now have a an adjustable bar at the top of the dynasty rankings that you can drag from win now all the way to long term and everything in between. We have a balanced setting, a win now setting and a long term setting. So it adjust the rankings based on your actual goals as a dynasty team. So we've never had we've always had dynasty startup rankings in the UDK plus in the dynasty past during the off season. They're now available year round. And you can drag that bar to adjust your plan. So if you're evaluating a trade and you want to look independently, you're going to see who we think our win now players versus long term assets. So super excited about that. That's all part of the foot plan. Just we just added it in there yesterday. Teams been working on it with us. And the rankings are up there. Join the foot.com. If you want access to it, it is only a part of the ultimate because that's where the dynasty past lives. That's where the season long stuff is. So If you want to upgrade or you want to jump in there. Super cool. It's we talked about it a good bit on the today's dynasty part and just get some examples so you can check that out. Yeah, no, it's super helpful. Let's talk some trades. Well, this should be fun. And I'm open to full on discussion around these players disagreement. All of that stuff. Three weeks in. Good opportunity to kind of get a lay of the land. Players that might be outperforming, you know, a reasonable, you know, touchdown number or something to that nature. Guys that we are choosing as trade for candidates. And then players that we're choosing is trade away candidates after three weeks. So Mike, why don't you kick it off with the trade for player. Sure. That's on your list. So the trade for we're trying to find players that we believe are underperforming. And I would like to highlight Mr. George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys because it's just the huge game hasn't happened. I mean, last week was much better. 11 targets. Seven for 82. Like that's a very usable game. What we're happy about that. But the first couple of weeks it was it was down. Even though the Cowboys are still putting up points. But you're looking at the like behind the scenes metrics. The numbers are actually very good for for George Pickens. His target share, his targets per round run, his yards per round run. Those are all up compared to three weeks into the season for for last year for the Dallas Cowboys. It's just that the production is lagging a little bit. You know, no touchdowns. George Pickens is going to start scoring touchdowns of it. It's like it will bounce back. And so he just the volume is is still completely there for him. The schedule. I mean, the upcoming schedule is actually fantastic for him. Dallas faces. Dallas wide receivers. As of right now, face the third easiest rest of season schedule. That, of course, rest of season is a little bit tricky right now. They don't keep a trace of data, but the early outlook is it's going to be great for the Dallas passing game and CD lamb. You're not going to trade for CD lamb because he's been performing. But if you still want a piece of that Dallas passing offense, then George Pickens. I think you can get him cheaper than he is going to be in just a couple weeks. I think you can get him cheaper than what the perceived value of him was before the season two. I think I think maybe there's been a tear changing people's minds. I don't mind the suggestion at all. I will say the only thing that I think has been definitive through three weeks that was a question in people's minds with the pick and selection was whether is CD lamb still the dude. Is he still that guy is he still a lead. I think we've had that answer pretty definitively in three weeks that, you know, one of the concerns that I had around CD lamb as somebody has them on his roster. Was that this team would kind of do with CD lamb, what the Arizona Cardinals eventually did with Larry Fitzgerald, which is you had players that came in John Brown, Steve Breston, they became downfield threats and you saw underneath as kind of the prime like you stop. They stopped going deep to Larry after a while. Sure, my biggest worry was like, are we going to get all bombs go to pickens and all underneath goes to lamb. Lams had the downfield shots in multiple weeks. So I was happy to see that as a lamb manager, but I think with the zero touchdown numbers what jumps out and that's going to change and targets CD lamb. 26 George pickens 25. Yeah, I mean, it's it's really everything is neck and neck between the two of them. Lamb has just been George pickens had a couple nasty drops and then this past week CD lamb had that. Like the free reminiscent of of a championship week a couple of years ago, where the cowboys are back on what they're. Oh, yeah, he almost had like a 90. He was a shoe string away from, but it like that hit that hit for CD lamb that hasn't hit yet for George pickens and it's definitely going to have a couple touchdown so far. Yes, and yeah, no, I I think pickens is nothing on the field tells me pickens isn't. 1 B I saw a tweet that was talking about the most missed opportunities so far in the league and who's basically under performing the expectation based on the opportunities they've received and it was a list of a bunch of bad players, which makes sense, like, oh, they've gotten opportunities, they've failed. And then there was George pickens who is not a bad player at all. And he was leading, you know, he's the largest gap. So I think this is a good. A trade for Canada, his good games are coming. He is not the archetype of a every week consistent player. At the end of the year, you're going to have a handful of bad games. Remember last year at the end of the year, it was unfortunate timing. I think it was fantasy playoffs or right before it was like, he had a couple games in a row where, oh, he just disappeared. Oh, his effort is, but, you know, it's like, he will have bad games. And he will also probably finish the year as the wider sheer of 15 or better. And so if he hasn't had those games yet, they're coming. I like, I like trading for him. Last year, he never had a three game stretch where he didn't have a 20 yard catch. And that's how he started the year. He hasn't had the big play yet. So, you know, that's kind of wild. Three games in George Pickens doesn't have a 20 yard catch. He's had tons of opportunities. Oh, yeah. And he's also had a couple of passing interference. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, he's good at that. I think we all agree that Pickens is a nice target right now. You can get him at a value that will not be the same in a few weeks. So we'll take a quick break and come back with a couple more trade for candidates. Jason and myself. And then we'll get into some tradeaways. Alright, coming back into our trade talk segment, Mike sharing George Pickens as his trade for candidate. And I am going to bring up Jeremiah love. I think Jeremiah love the moment is now the time is now. If you had the opportunity in years past to pick up, Ezekiel Elliott in week three of his rookie season or say, one, Barclay, or Christmas, Caffrey, B. John Robinson. This is your moment with Jeremiah love. And so I think you would only have hesitation. This is a top five draft pick. This is one of the greatest best graded what running backs that we've seen, heading into the NFL. And you're sitting here three weeks into the season and the breakout is coming. The big play is coming. And it's on an offense that's pretty darn good on a week to week basis, like the Cardinals defenses. Like every metric metric is terrible. Yes. They're going to be down in a ton of ball games. Jeremiah love is the past catching back. Jeremiah love got 19. He had 19.4 fantasy points and 26 opportunities last week, you could argue that it happened. But it's basically happened last week, which was it was surprising the way that they handled the first two weeks. Oh, this was like a concerted like we just made this decision and it's happening. Yeah, it felt like oh boy, here we go. The Cardinals are just going to be as stupid as possible with their with their draft pick. They paid Tyler LG. No, just Jeremiah love, you know, it seems like forever ago. Now he did have the ankle injury and preseason. So perhaps that the plan was just a hey, we're going to make sure he's healthy and ready to go. So usage, this usage spike in week three, this should be sticky like for for the top five draft pick. You got to you have to do this. I think they're I think there's some interesting trays that I know you could get done. I don't know if you would say yes or no to them. But I would be looking at like some of these players that maybe are out, like would you trade the Andre Swift straight up for Jeremiah love? Yeah, I would. So the Andre Swift is the sixth running back right now in terms of fantasy output. So that trade on paper, I think you might be able to get done depending on the league that you're in. But you know, would you trade action genty for Jeremiah love? That maybe is a bigger conversation. But I think it would be wise. I think that would be a smart one. Man, that was tough. I don't I have genty above, or I'm sorry, I have Jeremiah love above both Swift and genty for rest of season. Yeah. I don't think I would. I mean, I, you know, it's like the Cardinals offense might be good, but the Raiders offense might be good too. Yeah, I think that that one's really, really close for sure. But if you could go take Kyron, Kyron is the name and put other pieces with it. I think Kyron is the is the perfect name where I would tune. I would move Kyron or Tutan to Jeremiah love. I mean, you know, they're in good situations. They're good fantasy assets. They aren't some sort of generational talent. That's what Jeremiah love is. So if you don't have an absolute top tier fantasy back, if you've got a really good fantasy back, a low end RB one, I think you try to take the chance that Jeremiah love is a top five running back rest of season and trade for him. But I also view like that is what I think ashen genty is as well. Yeah, I think love, I think your time is now to move on Jeremiah love. And I think the Cardinals will be in a lot of games at the offense. We saw them move it. They put up 30 against San Francisco last week. They had a good week one against the Chargers. They slowed down against Seattle's defense. That's not too surprising. I mean, Washington didn't, but no, everybody, but Marcus Mario, yeah, of course. But yeah, I think that this is the moment for for Jeremiah love. If you can, if you can take advantage and maybe this last week doesn't let you do it, but that's my target. Yeah, I'm going to go with a back that's in I think the same tier. I wouldn't trade him for Jeremiah love, but I would trade for him because he is coming off of a down week. And that is Chase Brown. Chase Brown has gotten off to a decently slow start. He was running back 14, 22, 30's not been bad. No, just, but he's good. Yeah, but he hasn't been great yet. However, the opportunity is completely there. He's tied for seventh in routes, wrong among running backs. He's eighth in targets. He's ninth in total opportunities. And the bangles for some reason, I don't know. They always every year get off to a slow start. This happened last year with Chase Brown with the bangles. I mean, it happens every year. I think extremely bright days are coming for Chase Brown. What we know is he is the dude for this team. Yes, he is talented. He's getting all the work. And this is an offense. We want a part of there's just been some weird outlier stuff that here's here's just some crazy thing that's just happenstance. It's just randomness. Cincinnati has six total snaps inside the one T yard line in the last two weeks combined. That is 31st in the NFL. And for context, the NFL average, the average team gets 10 again. And they have six in the last two weeks combined. That's where fantasy points are scored. And so I just think he is one of these guys. It's like he's a top 10 fantasy running back. And you're not going to have to pay. Most top 10 fantasy running backs, you just can't acquire. You just can't like there. People aren't willing to let go of him. I think right now, you could make a trade for Chase Brown. And last year in the League of Records, because I went to look for Chase Brown. He was on Mike's team. Yeah, that's correct. From your cold dead hands, I'm sure. Yeah. So, you know, to me, I think he is a great trade for Canada. And I'll just throw out quickly two other names that I think the opportunity is beyond what the fantasy production has been. Came scataboo, who I just traded for in one league and Josh down. So I just ironically traded away in League of Record. I think those two guys have down. Downs is like my favorite target right now. Yeah. It's interesting. The opportunity ahead appears really, really good for both of those players too. Yeah. I think I think Josh Downs is about to cook. And Jason had sent some offers out. He's not I'm playing for not acquiring to win. So he's shipping and shopping Josh Downs. And I was like, he wanted like a third round pick in our league, our keeper league, but you can't trade above a second. And a third is it's pretty good. And I was like, man, I can't do that right now. But I bet you could get it. And I bet even in a couple of weeks, if the value might go up, if he stays healthy. But no, I love that one. Absolutely. Now let's talk about trade away players. Mike, why don't you kick us off? All right. The player I'm looking to trade away. And this is not a necessarily an over performer where I'm like, I got to get out. It's Brock Purdy. And I only bring you. Oh, you did say you're going to say stupid stuff. I don't mind this. You're you're argument for this guy is the same argument I'm going to have for my guy. So you understand right. But my argument for Brock Purdy is that there are other teams who are desperate for quarterbacks. And they I think they might have big eyes where like if you have, you know, we've brought it up, but Drake may herburt or you have one of the injured guys. My recommendation for the most part would just be figure it out streaming off of the waiver wire because players are there. Matchups are there to be had. We have a weekly segment every single week. But that's not how everyone likes to play fantasy football. Some people just want to have their stud quarterback. And I think that you can trade Brock Purdy, get a bunch. And then you can still be okay at the quarterback position. That's that's where I think he truly is overperforming. He's not he's not going to be the number two quarterback rest of season. I put it that way. I like he's not with the amount of injuries they have at the wide receiver position. Brock Purdy is an e to me an easy top 10 guy. Five is not outrageous to me. I like I really like Brock Purdy. I just think that this is a good strategic move with what has happened to the quarterback landscape. Fix the rest of your roster for a position that you can more easily replace off of the waiver wire. I just don't know if people like we see Brock Purdy as a an elite quarterback. He's he is great. I don't think most people do. I mean, you look at where he was in drafts before the season. I'm not sure people are going to pay up. Like in general, what you're saying I agree with. He's the he's a quarterback to he's not going to finish his quarterback to he's got injuries around him. He's far more expendable to me. I agree with that. I just don't know that may manager might want him. Anybody is paying number two quarterback prices for Brock Purdy. Also, it's worth noting. They got positive news, but Trent Williams win when Trent Williams, they're all generational left tackle went down. I was like, Oh, oh, great, trade away these guys. He had a next singer. It was checked out. It's not serious. Should to be back, but at the same time, he's dealt with that a few times. He's missed games for that before. So that would be very scary. I mean, you know, all of their injuries. I mean, they don't have any wide receivers left. If Mike Evans does not get back and get healthy. At some point, that does come to call. You're not going to get the same plays out of Jordan Watkins that you're going to get out of Mike Evans. And so I'm just agreeing with you that like, I think Purdy's going to be fantastic. Like Kiddles there. Yeah. And Debo is there who caught zero passes this last week. How dare you? But he had 80 yards. Yeah, Purdy's the only quarterback in the NFL that has not been sacked one time. He's a he's a very good quarterback. And you could be right, Jay, the value name wise. He doesn't he's not Lamar. He's not one of those type of players. But it get into the negotiations. Show the show the fantasy points. I don't know. I think you can sell Brock birdie and be all right. I the name that Mike says is stupid to bring up in this segment is I get both sides of this currently the wide receiver four in fantasy. And Mike, of course, is going to take this personally because this is Mike's my guy because I said draft him. He's going to be awesome. And he's been awesome. So so Christian Watson is look trading in fantasy is all about value. It's about what do you get for the player? And do I believe that Christian Watson is going to score 23 touchdowns? Oh, no, I don't think no. No, no, no, he's on pace for 23 touchdowns. Do I think he passes 1600 receiving errors? Maybe I don't think that's going to happen. Um, near 100 catches. I don't think that's going to happen. Now I could. My point with the trade away candidate [BLANK_AUDIO] and Watson is not, you trade at all costs. It's the same argument you just made with Brock Purdy. It is trade if you have the opportunity to take advantage of where he's positioned. He has four touchdowns through three weeks. You have a team that has not been able to run the football that would like the identity of this team to be able to run the football. I think they signed two different offensive linemen this week. We'll see what happens with Josh Jacobs. I think Watson is either number four overall receiver at the end of the year. I think there's no chance of that. Is he top 10? Probably. But if I can go out and I can turn Christian Watson into Chris Olavek in a trade. If I can turn Christian Watson into Garrett Wilson in a trade, those are situations and I might even get a little bit more depending on the names that you picked there. That's something I'm gonna look into because I think he's the inverse of Pickens right now. Like Pickens has no touchdowns. Like he is overproducing. For a target perspective, like you look at the top players in fantasy right now, target-wise, 36 for JSN, 35 for Almond Ross St. Brown, 36 for Chris Olavek. Watson's at 29. It's not a bad number. Golden has more targets than he does on the season. So, you know, and Golden has one touchdown. Like from a statistical standpoint, they're pretty comparable. He's just scored four times. And he's gonna score a lot of touchdowns. He's probably gonna be a 10 touchdown guy. I don't think he's a 23 touchdown guy. So I'm just saying you may be able to take advantage of this window where everyone's bought in. He is an injury risk. He just is. That's just the nature of Christian Watson. If I could get out of Christian Watson for a less injury risk player, maybe Alavi's not the answer to that question. But he could he could currently be injured. Like that practice. I was just waiting. I was pulling up the practice report. I'm gonna be surprised if I see full participant this week for Christian Watson. And hopefully he is. We, I think Mike mentioned at the end of yesterday's show, but it was like the last play of the game, he kind of looked like he pulled this hammy a little, but it was not reported, you know, who knows? Maybe it's absolutely nothing. We just are always worried about Christian Watson's hamstrings. I love Christian Watson. He looks like he's going to be the clear wide receiver one for a team that can pass the ball. He is always good for fantasy points when he's on the field. I want him on my team. If I had him on my team, I would be trying to trade high because it's not, you know, Mike, you loved where he was in the draft. You thought he was going to be great. He's been great. He's been a great pick. He, you know, succeed on your mind guy. If you then trade him at the value that he deserves, if you're trading him at a top tier value, it's a guaranteed win. Your draft pick was a great pick, no matter what, even if he, even if he does well. And can I just, I'll just like Jack Knife, a trade four candidate in there. I think, I think Matthew Golden is a trade four candidate. I totally agree. Matt, if you look, if you look at the numbers outside of touchdowns, exclusively, they're almost identical seasons for these two players. 17 catches on 29 targets for Watts and for 284 yards. 15 catches on 30 targets for 253 yards for Golden. They're very similar production. They're being used in similar ways down the field. Their yards per catch 16.9 for Golden, 16.7 for Watts and go trade for Golden. If though people don't buy in, they were burned all rookie year. Golden, I think is a great one because Watson is, we're soaring with the Eagles with Christian Watts. And people may not realize how close Matthew Golden is. And like the target share is going to be split. Now you have Jane Reed probably out for the year. Like Skymore. Yes. But Skymore is the slot wide receiver. Yeah, it's crazy. That concerns me even less than Jane Reed when it comes to a target competition. The where I am at with, I think the touchdowns may start to, sorry, to just say, like Tucker Krav getting acclimated to the offense, that could be where some touchdowns end up. It's the, where it's difficult for me is like, if you guys want to look at your rest of season, like I have Watson right now at wide receiver 10, rest of year. So it's like, there's not a, not a room. There's not a lot of Olave may be, I mean, definitely I'd prefer Olave. I don't know if you'd be able to get him. Would you trade Watson for Niko Collins? No, no, I would not. So I have Niko one spot higher in rest of season rankings. Would you trade Devonte Adams? Would you trade for Devonte? I would prefer Christian Watson. Jefferson. Jefferson is the, that was the name I was going to bring up where it's like, it sounds insane at the, would you even bring up the discussion, but just truly think about it. Like where this, where the Minnesota Vikings are, we still have no evidence of Kyler Murray being able to get it done for, for Justin Jefferson. We know how bad it can go for Jefferson if they don't have proper quarterback play. Yeah, the second we for Jefferson was not good with no proper quarterback play. Would you trade, if somebody sent you an offer right now, Mike, do you have Christian Watson anywhere? Uh, in a couple spots, yeah. Somebody sent you an offer for Pukin, Niko. Oh, man, you wouldn't have to take, I mean, you would, you would probably want to take it, but you could find out tomorrow, he's having surgery. I, I thought that was maybe the most agonizing, holy moly question I could ask. Pukin is, what do you even do? Pukin's the hardest one, 'cause we, I don't know. 'Cause Pukin could go out this week. Or he could play this week. I mean, I'm saying, he could play this week and you're like, okay, everything is in the, 64 targets in the mirror. Pukin is still great for the race. Not a crazy question. Let's say, now, let's make Pukin the train away. Give it. Would you, if you had Pukin, would you trade him away right now for Parker Washington? (laughing) I was looking at the mic. - He's the kind of soundbicycle come back on Twitter. - Yeah, yeah. - Six weeks, I have Parker at 11. I got Parker at seven. - Oh, dude, I have Parker at seven as well. - I'm Pukin by one. - Same. - Yeah, I, I mean, would you trade Pukin for Zay Flowers? Mike? (screaming) I feel like Pukin, the answer to this question, if you have Pukin, hold him. If he's somewhere else, don't trade for him. I feel like that's the recipe for Pukin. - Yeah, how much risk do you want to take? Flowers has his own ham truck. - The Pukin, the win you the year. - Yeah, and that's the thing is that like, to win a championship, you usually need, I was talking about, I was talking about this with Andy this morning. So in our main dynasty league, where Mike is the champion there as well, he has a sensational team. I've got a very, very good team. I lost two of my three running backs, but I was, I look at my team, and I've got a lot of really good players. I've got a Lava and I've got London, Rushy Rice to Vante Smith, but I don't have the like, the guys are gonna go out there and put up 30 points and back to back weeks in the playoffs. Like a Jamar chase, a JSN. - Kyle Puer. - A Pukin. (laughing) - I just remembered last year's playoffs, I'm sorry. But it's like those players, when it comes, like I'm gonna make the playoffs great. But once you're there, do you have those nuclear players? You need a Josh Allen or a Jamir Gibbs, or a JSN or a Brock Bowers, a training, like you have to have some of those guys. And so training, Pukin's such a trade for, trade away conundrum. 'Cause right now he's your biggest bet in either direction. - Yeah. - And honestly, if, sometimes when you're playing fantasy, you've got to think about just pure upside. And there is not much higher upside than Pukin. If you could trade for Pukin right now and then it turns out, he doesn't get surgery. People are afraid of surgery and you turn Christian Watson and Pukin, that could be a champion type of mind. - But it is a gamble. - I disagree with one of the guys you said. Or I mean, that too. 'Cause, but Olave, I think Olave can be a guy who like, he could just go. - That's who I told you this morning. - Olave. - That was the one I was talking about. I think he's, he's so high on my rest of season ranking. - Yeah, he's at number four for me. But at number five, right now for me, is Drake London, like Michael Penix, Michael Penix Drake London games equals fantasy domination. Like you can, you can look at Michael Penix and he'll, the end of the, the, the stat line for Michael Penix is not gonna be great for him to be a fantasy quarterback. - Yeah, but all he does is throw it to Drake London. - All he does is throw it to Drake London. - PSA to sucky quarterbacks. Throw it to the really good guys. Every play you can and it works out way better than you think. - Yep. So I'm, I'm with Drake London. - It, as long as it stays Michael Penix, which that's a. - It wasn't, it just, it wasn't Keenum. That was in Houston that, that just hyper-chucked it at Hopkins. Was it? - I'm trying to remember when they did all overlap. - Oh, maybe it was Austin. - Oh, Brock, yeah. - Was it Austin, why are they? - It was Keenum played in Houston, right? - I think so. - I mean Keenum's had 16 careers, but T.J. Yates maybe, I don't know. - Jason, you got to give us a trade away candidate. It comes from the same team as Mike's. - Yeah, it's another 49er. I mean, obviously the, the industry. - Last man's standing. - Last man standing, but honestly, it works almost in his favor. The injury issues and worries about Mike Evans says that the last guy there is Debo Samuel, who has been good. He's a man. ♪ Now you're a man ♪ ♪ A man, man, man, man ♪ - It took you too long to get there. - I know. - I know. - How did he not get a target last week? - We'll see. - He was already the last man standing. - It led himself to Jason's argument. I'm not sure. I think Debo's current abilities are all gadgetry. - Oh, 100% not wide receivary. - Basically 50% of his routes this year are running back routes. - There you go. - There are screens, flats, backfield. I mean, he is, his average depth of target is 3.4. - Which defense against position? should do you look at it for Brock, for a stop him? Is it like, do you look at the wide receiver? Do you look at the running backs? Right, the matchup, you know, it's one of those things where there are teams that have lost a lot of players. Yeah, wide receiver, you know, go look at the Jefferson, the Mike Evans team, Jalen Coker, the Puka manager who's struggling, Nico, you know, there's a lot of teams out there that are like, man, I, I really need a guy. And I think this isn't someone that you're selling super high. You're not getting a star back, but you can get someone who is maybe a struggling young wide receiver back or a middling package debo to a wide receiver need team with someone else to get like a Chuba Hubbard who's like, I don't know, I'm not super excited about him. I don't know that that's gonna happen. You know, they're two kind of older seeming players if you need a running back or, you know, Jordan Tyson. That, that, that manager who's held on to Jordan Tyson for three weeks, if he has another wide receiver injury, he might just have to make a move and can't hold injured wide receivers. Colonel Tate who's been super disappointing, people might be like, should I, should I drop him? Who do I start? I gotta get a win this week. Like try to flip debo for some of these other struggling young guys like Roma Doonsay who, I mean, I would rather have just about all of these people over, over debo. I think debo's manufactured points are just not reliable. I don't think he's gonna be really anything rest of season. And right now he's scored enough fantasy points. I mean, like last week, the 80 receiving yard, you know, play was on one gadget play. So it's like that you can't rely on that. And I think after another couple of weeks, you're not gonna be able to trade him for anything. So yeah, to me, if he was on my roster right now, I'd be, I'd be shopping him, see if I can capitalize on a couple of good fantasy performances. - All right, let's take a break and talk Thursday night. Thursday night break down. The Pittsburgh Steelers, two and one. Guys, taking on the two and one Cleveland Browns. Here we are, AFC North Battle, Pittsburgh minus two and a half on the road over under 38 and a half, which is right about where the average over under is for every Pittsburgh Cleveland game for the last five years. And the last two games last year were at 38 and 34. So here we are, two teams above 500, the Shawn Monson on a two game winning streak. Aaron Rodgers got it done last week, first two 90 in three game and what, five years. So fantasy wise, Mike, you'll do the morbid, told you so with Quinch on Judkins right now. 35th in yards per carry, 35th in rush success rate, 35th in yards before contact. That's bad 'cause there's only 36 in the same bowl. So that's pretty much the worst starting running back. If you want to make the case against Ollie Gordon, you got it. You got it right here where I don't think any of us think Quinch on Judkins is the 35th best running back in football from a talent perspective. But on this team, in this situation, with what they're able to do with the offensive line, he is really entering the don't mess around with category, which sucks. It really, it does because he's a better player than what he is able to do right now. But the path forward, I mean, we got 18 carries, so 20 opportunities last week against Carolina. Yeah, that must have been a bunch of fantasy points, right? I mean, you got you at the top 24. But yeah, you have to sheer volume your way there and he will, you'll get a couple touchdowns along the way. But overall, it doesn't feel great. This game's disgusting, dude. Who's gonna win? The Steelers are gonna win. No, they're not. What? No, they're not. Oh, yeah, not the fans. Wait, you think the Browns are gonna win this game? I do. Oh, man, I really don't. Since the Browns can't run the ball, they've been passing the ball okay the last couple of weeks. The Sean Watson is looking. I'm thinking through this. I think I'm with Mike. However, the passing defense for the Pittsburgh Steelers this year has been phenomenal. It has been. TJ Watts been awesome. I know. I mean, it's just, they're a very difficult team to throw the ball on. And so I don't think the Sean Watson's going to be able to succeed there. Judkins hasn't done anything and their defense is not what it was with Miles Garrett. So I, I think this is definitely the Steelers when this game. So we're split on that. But for fantasy purposes, it's not a lot of star said decisions. Jaylen Warren. Jaylen Warren is talent and volume. You have to play him. He, he, he looked amazing last week. The two players I want to apologize to the most right now is, is like, Jaylen Warren and Kyron Williams. Like three weeks into the season. From an efficiency standpoint, both are better than I thought they'd be. Yeah. If Warren certainly got his opportunity with, with Rico being out and Warren. Warren's always been a great player. So with him getting everything that, it totally makes sense. Yeah, I mean, on the Steelers side, are we playing any of these wide receivers? You're still trying to see how it's going to shake out. I do think the targets say that you can play Metcalf. Uh, you know, he's on pace for what? Like zero, 36 target. No, look, he scored last week. I'm not wanting to. I'm just saying that like if I had to, if I'm in that category of just, I don't know players. Dude, I mean, he's on pace for 136 targets. So that's where it's like, okay, that's, that's a, that's a wide receiver one. Maybe a wide receiver too. He's also on pace for 550 yards receiving. Do you want to make this game interesting, Jaylen? Yeah, let's do, uh, I dominated you last week on a hundred dollar bet. Oh, if you remember, I took, I took Bryce Young and he took Justin Herbert and they were a point to part. They were a point to part and it was not a lot of points. Yes, but I dominated. I got a hundred dollars. So I've got house money here. Uh, I'll bet you Browns versus Steelers. Oh, okay. I think the Browns will win the game. And the reason I think they're going to win the game is you know, you made a good point. They might not be able to pass the football. I think they'll hit the under in this game, by the way. Yeah, it's going to be disgusting. It's going to be gross. But the reason I think is that the pass rush and the defensive line for the Browns at home, where they're by the way, seven and oh, in the last three last seven, Thursday night games. Aaron Rodgers, it becomes incapable of functioning with any pressure at all. And there were five players. I think they got five pressures last week for the Browns. That's why I think they'll win the game. And now we have something. Yeah, no, that's fun. That's the easy money. So, um, yeah, I guess you just became the biggest Aaron Rodgers fan. That's all I want you to know. Although, I guess it's worse for me. Yeah, it's definitely worse for you is because there were no odds. So it's a great for me. But the Cleveland rush defense right now, they're allowing an explosive play on 17% of design runs. That's the highest in the NFL. And we saw Jaylen Warren with some explosive plays back to back last week. So I think they're going to be able to run on the Browns. And I just don't think the Browns are going to be able to score. Yeah, I mean, that's, that's what we're looking at here. It's a close, uh, close line, Pittsburgh minus two and a half. Low over under boring game. The only other don't play players if you don't have to. Yeah, I would say don't play players if you don't have to. If you've got another option for my cow, that was it, that's where I was going. I'm getting into fan and fan and is the one guy who finally figured out. You see the target. Maybe I should throw to him. You see the target progression here? Three, six, nine, uh, 12 songs on the way to one target. And if you can't pass the wide receiver, Jason. Let's do it. You want to let's target fan and I'm going to give you a disgusting start. Say a question DK Metcalf on Thursday against Cleveland or lad McConkey on the road against Seattle lad, I'll go lad, hoping that the ribs are getting. Yeah, I, I, I want a good wide receiver. That's not a great match. I'd be there. Yeah. I mean, that's not a good time. I mean, I just any, any Metcalf decision is not, not a good time. Can you play both defenses this week? Sure. Yeah. Okay. Sure. We'll find some silver lining there and then we'll move on to Mailbag. Mailbag. Mailbag presented by Paramount Plus. All right. I like it. The floor is after. I've got to find a spot. If you have a question for the show, we're here to help. That's what we do. We'll be waiting for you in your week. You can go to the vannecyphalballers.com and you can click the submit a question button or dial our voicemail hotline 3024640FFB. We'll start with the voicemail. Hey, ballers. This is Trevor here at Big Fan of the Show. We've got a member of our league that is battered at wide receiver and I have Michael Wilson. Would you rather have Michael Wilson or Nico Collins rest of season? I think I've got an opportunity here. Let me know. Bye. Okay. You get the chance to turn Michael Wilson into Nico because they need a player this week and Nico's out potentially. I mean, do it. I would do that in a heart. I would. Absolutely. We were talking before the show. Nico's a great trade for candidate personally. Yeah. I agree. They need him. He looked good. Obviously dealing with his own hamstring injury sucks for now. But if you can, you know, if you can withstand victories long enough to acquire Nico, I mean, he could be back this week. He was listed as a decent. and chance to return in week four. So yeah, I would definitely do that. Michael Wilson is a very good wide receiver. He's clearly the best wide receiver on the Cardinals roster. He's better than Marvin Harrison. He does everything well. He had 17 targets last week, but he's, he will never be the number one receiving option. When Tramick Bride is there, he'll be a best number two. Nico is there one and so that's, that's a level I would always, always trade for. I am very bullish on Michael Wilson finishing, you know, probably in the top 15 to 16 range. Yeah. I think he could get there. It seems like the 17 targets of game, he will, yeah. It seems like the team has, you know, last year, Marvin Harrison's injury forced Michael Wilson to show that he could be a one and he was down at Michael Jerry Rice Wilson. A new regime came in, new head coach, new staff, everything changed. And now it's like, okay, well, Marvin Harrison is part of the future of this franchise. And we're three weeks in. And in the third week, they were like, dude, the other wide receiver is way better. And so I think the transition's been made. I do think Michael Wilson will be good. And Marvin Harrison is, I mean, he had five targets this week, Jason. That's a huge uptick. Marth. Yeah. 17 for the other guy. I don't think that they are looking to force Marvin Harrison to be something he's not. No. And it says something when you come out and press conferences and you have to defend the usage of Marvin Harrison and then your answer to that on the field of 17 targets for the other guy. Yeah. All right. Another voicemail question. A phase to baller the split. And if I get on this, my dad's gonna freak out, but I was wondering if I should play. Are you down Henderson? Well, it's Grayland. I don't think thanks. Love the shelf. Huh. Tell your dad to freak out. So we got Braille and Alan or Traveon Henderson this week with a Brie saw. Brie saw hasn't ruled out yet that I've heard, but he's not going to play. I would play Braille and Alan. I would go of all you look, I don't want to like discount Traveon's potential to randomly show up. Agreed. But that is what it is right now. It's not you don't play him with any guaranteed production. You play him with a, with a hope that you get a big play. He's playing the Buffalo Bills and Braille and Alan is playing the Chicago Bears. Both are decent matchups for running backs. I would play Braille and Alan as well. I think they will get enough work in a good matchup where he's looked good. The jets have been better. Their offensive line has been improved and you just don't know. You don't know what you're going to get with Traveon Henderson. The matchup is good and so I was like, man, should Traveon be a star of the week? No, I can't do that. Should Ramon Traveon be a star of the week? No, I can't do that, so it's like, yeah, look, he's becoming an if man right now. It's like if you use him in the receiving game, Traveau would be awesome. If you give him enough work, he'll break one out of way. But what, this team is so broken right now, you got to understand that the lowest scoring team in football. Now, I'll drop Drake May this morning for Austin Eccler, oh, my God, that's where Drake may, what does he have like one touchdown and six otherceptions and he's broken. He's confident he's broken. And it's, it's certainly going to change with the way that the jets with Breeze Hall out. But to this point, it's only been Breeze Hall and Braille and Alan. Like they're the only running backs who have actually gotten any sort of work. Isaiah Davis has not seen us an offensive snap. Yeah. Yeah. I think Braille is going to be a true, but Isaiah Davis has been active, right? Has he been active in those games? So that, I mean, that's a great sign. I'm saying, like, and like I see what Andrew Beck has run five routes. Did we get, didn't we get Braille and Alan alone a couple of times in his career in terms of getting a star? I was just trying to remember, like, I don't, I don't 24, I'm not saying Alan is a slam dunk by him. He never got more than 12 carries in a game in his career. And I'm not saying it's, it's pure, this is pure volume versus a, a matchup that we can exploit. He's never had more than 12 carries. So he's going to have, I mean, something 22 years old, he's in your three. He had 10 carries with Breeze Hall in week one. All right. We'll see how we do. We'll see what happens. From YouTube, Gabe writing and Tucker Kraft or Colson Loveland rest of season in a PPR league. Wait, wait. Loveland or who? Kraft. Tucker Kraft. Like I can tell you, if somebody offered me Colson Loveland for Tucker Kraft right now, I would turn it down. I would, I would take Tucker Kraft. I think the, the target consolidation in Green Bay, Jaden Reed's injury. It's so, there's so many limited options and I, I, I think Tucker Kraft is on the uptick and I think Loveland is going to be a little more hit and miss than we wanted. So I would, I would turn the trade down if somebody offered me. I, I don't mind staying with Tucker Kraft and then making that move at this point, you're, you're trying to hit a true home run where, and like hoping that these three weeks are just, or whatever, I guess after Caleb is back, then things get back on track for Loveland and he turns into the monster was at the end of last year. But if you miss, you're going to miss real, real bad. So maybe I just stay with Tucker. The issue that I had with Loveland preseason and the draft season was always just target competition. You know, it's, will he get the targets will, or, or will it be a Luther game and then will it be a, a Rome game, will it be a Kaleigh Freeman game? And it seems like, you know, he's not the primary target. They're not drawing every, like he's not the first read all the time. You wanted him to be a Tremac bride. He is the primary focus of the offense. I think through three weeks and I know we had a ring game. We had a backup quarterback game and we had a crazy, you know, the running game works. So we haven't seen their, their standard offense. But at the same time, three weeks in, we know he's not the focus, the focal point of every week for their offense. Follow up question by Lucas. Would you rather, if I say a likely or Tucker Kraft for us this season, Tucker, crazy Kraft. Yeah. And that's, that's what you might, that's what you might be able to get done because Kraft has been disappointing. I think we're probably right. I would assume most people would want Kraft. But someone out there might be like, yeah, I'll, I'll take, I'll take likely and I would definitely go. I think the Tucker Kraft, like, not a ride. He isn't anywhere near the other top end tight ends because he only had a small run last day. Right. So if you didn't catch that run of dominance or know that he signed a contract, all that stuff, it's kind of a, just the nerds. Yes. Here's one for the nerds, more, I got two, two trade questions, I think are very difficult. Maybe Dylan and Long Island. Do I trade Zay flowers for Jeremiah love in a PPR? I mean, that's perfectly fine. Yeah. That's, that's just about positional. Yeah. It is about, it is about positional need. But the thing is is when they're in the same tier and I think their, Zay flowers is good. Jeremiah love is good. I'll take the running back. That's where the needs gets, you know, more, more scarce and more needy. Yeah. I think you're right. Where the needs get more needy. The, the slight hesitation is just the way that flowers has looked this year is like electric something a special season, you're getting an Antonio Brown vibes. Well, I wasn't saying that, but I just, I mean, like, this is a different offense. I'm, he's being used different and he is, I'm, I'm just a fantastic, I'm just afraid of Mike. I'm just afraid of the years of Mike. We don't know. We don't know how inclusive evidence is over yet. He suffered no injuries anywhere. He drafted perfectly in our league of record. Those players are all breaking out and I know people want to make me the enemy this year. Let me, let me point the, let me point the finger over here to this guy. It would be much worse if I would rather you win than Mike. But I'm telling all about you know what that's about, but I think your odds of winning are much higher. Yeah, see, look, I've already, I'm not going to say it out loud. I've already figured out all of what Mike's doing rest of the season and how easy it is and how easy it's going to be for him to make the title game and I, and I'm terrified. Tyler, would you trade? I'm just doing the best I can. Oh, shut the front door. Would you trade Cam scataboo for Amari and Hampton? Jason. Oh, I just, I also mentioned that I think Cam scataboo is a good trade for candidate. Uh, the workload has been there last week was a super rainy game. The average three yards per attempt, but it was like a sloshy, you know, everybody's up at the line of scrimmage. Uh, the, the game was 12 to seven, uh, that being said, he got 20 carries, four targets. He's going to get the work, um, I, you know, I, I think I, I think I take, man, can we get a darn zoom? Is there a slow zoom? We could put on Jason. I would take both do that in post, both cam scataboo and I will take them both. Would I trade Cam scataboo for Amari? Thank you. There we go. Thank you. There we go. Would I, if I had scat, yeah, yeah, I would, I would trade for Hampton. I would trade Cam scataboo for Hampton, I think, oh, oh, man. I know it's the herbos can't stop. I, I, I would do that. He is on an island right now. I know. Something there under the beating sun, I'm going, I'm going to get you that whip that so you can just hit yourself in the back over and over. Yes. Uh, I'd rather have cam scataboo feel great, but I think. I'd rather have cams get a move. I think that the workload, but man, that's brutal. Well, it's the workload of like, but the giant's offense is not going to turn around and all of a sudden be a jug or not. Correct. The chargers are not going to do that. Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. Olly Gordon and Jalen Hurts are under scrutiny due to uncertainty around injuries and usage, making them risky trade candidates despite high projections.
  2. Brian Robinson is a strong sleeper with low roster percentages and significant upside, especially on a weak Patriots offense.
  3. George Pickens is performing below expectations in volume but has strong underlying metrics and a favorable schedule, making him a trade-in candidate.
  4. Jeremiah Love is emerging as a breakout RB with high targets and production, creating a strong opportunity to trade for him in a dynasty league.
  5. Chase Brown is showing signs of a slow start but is in a high-opportunity environment with a top-10 fantasy profile and promising rest-of-season upside.
  6. Christian Watson is seen as overvalued with injury concerns and low touchdown production, making him a potential trade-down asset.
  7. Brock Purdy is a reliable top-10 QB but not elite, and trading him offers flexibility in a quarterback-limited market.
  8. Matthew Golden presents a low-risk, high-value alternative to Watson with similar stats and a better injury profile, making him a top-tier trade candidate.
