Fantasy Football Draft Advice: Expert Picks & Predictions for 2026 NFL Season (Ep. 2160)

The hosts of the Guaranteed Human podcast run a real-time, 16-team fantasy football draft, leveraging live picks, draft assistant tools, and strategic sacrifice to build a competitive team. The draft emphasizes depth in running backs and wide receivers, with players like Travis HN, Jordan Mason, and Chris Godwin targeted due to high upside and injury risks. A key strategy involves sacrificing quarterback and tight end spots to focus on skill positions, especially in a deeper league where volume and reliability matter. Injury concerns are raised for players such as Alec Pierce and Josh Downs, with Pierce seen as a bench option despite recent recovery news. The team also discusses the removal of the Pro Bowl game, calling it a joke, and suggests replacing it with fan-voted All-Pro awards. Scoring bonuses for 300+ passing or receiving yards and severe fumble penalties (minus 4 points) add strategic depth. Late-round picks like Jonah Coleman and Denzel Boston are considered valuable, though tight ends like Dallas Goddard or Isaiah Wynn are debated with a consensus to wait. The group acknowledges the inherent imbalance of a 16-team league, prioritizing risk-adjusted picks to maximize team resilience and scoring potential. The draft process is designed to be chaotic, fun, and educational, with real-time decisions and team-building strategies shared with listeners.

This is an iHeart podcast, Guaranteed Human. The entire draft room groans because you just took the guy they wanted. There's no better feeling than crushing your fantasy football league. I'm JJ Zacharyson, host of the award-winning late-round podcast. Before your draft, our players to target and players to avoid episodes tell you exactly who to circle and who to cross off. Listen to the late-round fantasy football podcast on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello everybody, welcome into the tailgate I am Ryan Warimley, joined today by Andrew Erickson and by D. Bro. We are talking fantasy here. This is often a feed where we will talk about a larger picture of the NFL and not always strictly fantasy as we do in the fantasy pros feed. But today, it's draft season, right? This is the time that that's what people want to be talking about when they're thinking about the NFL. So we're telling you how to win your fantasy draft by doing a fantasy draft here. And we're going to have some fun with this. This is a 16 team real league that we are going to play out and discuss on this channel throughout the course of the season against real listeners that we got from our wonderful discord community. And it is something that Erickson kind of put together here as an idea for the show. And we're going to talk through sharing a team with the three of us with a 30 second pick clock. So it's going to be some chaos here. Try to agree to picks with very little time on the clock. We're going to have fun. This might be a disaster. It might be super awesome. We'll find out together Erickson. This was your baby. Yes it was. And I just cannot wait for all the Monday morning conversations we have talking, recapping all of the games between us three and recapping how our fantasy team did not just against the opponent, but against the league average because that is one of the rules I implemented here using fan tracks as our platform of choice. But as we go through the draft, you guys will see we did sink it up with draft assistant. So using the fantasy pros tools to our advantage here. These guys have accessibility to the queue. So even though I am the final decision maker on actually who we draft, the queue is going to be filled with players at D row and worm are adding behind the scenes. So I have been known to time out just as Tom Stracken that does happen to me on occasion when I'm doing. So you're saying is that queue is very important. Yes. So you guys want your guys get him in the queue. Do we have a max number of Patriots and Ravens were allowed to draft on this team because I feel like we need to set that limit right now. Well, you're going to have to be the tie breaker at Zay Flowers, D row because Erickson likes in way more than I do, even as they even say flowers were definitely it's auto drafting. Okay. He's already in the queue. And we're definitely not trapped in Mark Andrews if anybody saw the fantasy fest. They already know what's up. This is a 16 team league. So maybe we will. Dude, we might drop Matthew Hibner, dude. We might have to. Hey. Yeah. Well, before we get to the draft, she's going to start in roughly 10 minutes. Everyone hits some news and notes as well. Really the biggest news of the day as of, you know, this Thursday morning when we're recording. Alec Pierce off the public. You know, going to try to ramp up and get ready for week one remains to be seen how that process will go. Drash Downs dealing with the calf issue. So sort of this receiver room as a whole is pretty interesting. They are facing the aforementioned Ravens, which I expect to be a pretty strong defense this season under Jesse Mentor. So I'm really curious to see what that offense is going to look like week one. We might see a whole lot of John at the Taylor. I think we probably will. Deep. What was your early reaction just to seeing that, you know, Pierce finally after, you know, months of surgery updates and, you know, videos of him limping is finally off the public. I think people are going to look at this as a much bigger positive than it actually is. Go to X. Go watch the video of him walking across the practice field. His gate is horrible. Like he is limping. Don't watch his legs and stuff. Watch his shoulder level. Like he is giving every single time he uses that leg. And so we're expecting what he's going to be ready to play actual NFL games at full speed in what kind of time frame. I feel no better about how it appears Josh Downs is continually banged up. Like everybody makes their injury jokes about Christian Watson and Martian Lloyd and all these other players. Josh Downs can't stay healthy either people hate to tell you. So it's going to be them leaning on Tyler Warren and Keenan Allen. I don't feel good about either one of those players like Josh Downs continually, whether it's a groin, a calf, whatever cannot stay healthy. So consider me very concerned. Erickson, do you think Keenan Allen is worth like a, you know, I'm not even saying it's like a season long guy, but like, would you, should we draft him in this league? For example, the idea of like, maybe we even sneak in an early season start as these other guys are getting ready to go and you just kind of trust the veteran, even as a late signing to step in and be ready to go. Or is this truly like we're interested in Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren and pretty much nobody else as these guys finally kind of shake off the rust and get healthy. I'm going to think Keenan Allen does make a lot of sense in terms of being a depth piece in these leagues that you're going to have to draft so many players and you're starting so many different guys where yeah, he's going to have usable weeks, especially early on the season, but let's not pretend he's like a spring chicken, like he has a lot of injury risk too as an older wide receiver. But the fact that he is so familiar with Shane Steikin offense out Pierce, I'm not as pessimistic as DeBrow is. This is technically his timeline, right? They said in March, four to six months. It's August. That's six months. So again, at the tail end of their projected timeline in terms of him coming back, yeah, he's probably going to be slow out of the gates. Like we expect, Daniel Jones probably be slow out of the gates coming off the Achilles Henry. But to me, just screams like, dude, Jonathan Taylor is going to get like 30 touches per game. And they're going to just ride him as far as they can go like they did in the beginning of last year, where he just sees, I mean, they're back up running backs or injured, right? It looks like Seth McGowan is going to end up being the handcuff running back to Jonathan Taylor. He will be. He will be. He will be. He will be. So I think it's really right or die with JT. I think that they're going to attack that Ravens interior defense that we saw get eviscerated at times last year, we'll see with getting guys back if that Ravens defense has improved. But the Colts are going to test it out here in week one. The mentor McDonald's sort of defense that's taken from the NFL is willing to let teams run too. It's more designed around some of the past. So like, even if the Ravens are healthier and like have a better front seven than they did last year, I still do think schematically. Mentor will be willing to let the Colts run now having said that if Jonathan Taylor, they say, well, that's the only guy who can beat us. Maybe they changed things up there in week one. But yeah, I think pretty much, at least for this first couple of weeks, you're staying away from any past catcher. Not named Tyler Warren there just in terms of drafting him, because obviously we still, you know, a little bit of time here for people to self drafts is real time ADP. Why does he were 40 for Outpears? Why does he for 41 for Josh Downs? They're going back to back, just a couple of picks of spot in the overall, a couple spots apart in the overall. Debra, for you, like too high, is that missing you shake your head? A Helmo, I'm not drafting either one of them, because Keenan Allen is wide receiver 58 per real time ADP. Make that make sense, guys. No, I'm not paying any type of premium for Josh Downs and Outpears. No. Eric said for you, wide receiver 40 and 41, too high, too low, just right? I'll take the swing on Pierce at wide receiver 40. I mean, he was wide receiver 32 like a month ago, and he's just gone down because he just hasn't been practicing in the training camps because of his injury. But one leg too that's like his thick is my pointer finger. He doesn't need to be ready in full 100% by week one. You're not going to be starting him anyway. So I think as a bench receiver that is going to eventually be put into this wide receiver one rolling, it's the number two pass catcher on the Colts offense, I think that Pierce is value is kind of intriguing where he's going. So I'll take the injury discount as a bench player that a month into the year, that's when he'll be closer to 100% and then we'll see what we saw a little bit more of last year from him. Even it's just a lot of spike week. We know we can have big games. I mean, I don't think we should have been expecting Pierce to been firing out of the gates anyway, based on Daniel Jones coming off in the Killy's injury. So that's another thing playing here. So I don't hate Pierce at wide receiver 40 real quick on Alec Pierce, too. It's not only just the fact that he has like there are big increases like that's with his leg size, the atrophy of his calf and stuff like that. You've seen over years and years with multiple players and stuff. It's not just the recovery stuff I'm worried about. It's the compensatory injuries because of that imbalance that he can also have hamstring issues and other things during the season. That's why I'm just I'm staying away. Well, Pierce was also playing through this injury the last two seasons and this was then the defining side. Okay, I'm going to get fixed up for the long term views. So clearly, I mean, here I shown the ability to play through this type of injury. So I get that you're concerned by looking at him and how he's walking. But this is something that he's dealt with and played through before and played at a pretty high level as he's led the NFL and yards per reception the last two seasons. So I'm a little bit more optimistic, even though I usually I even though I hate the Colts for the most part. I'm too a Coltsator. I mean, you're worried about it. But this is just specific. This is just specific to this one player in his specific price. Again, if he was like wide receiver 24, I'd be like, gross, but like that's where he finished last year. He's still too high, though, dude. Like, do you want to take Alec Pierce or Josh Downs or Dijon Stribbling? So you're saying he can't be better than he was the last two seasons, because he's been better than wide receiver for the last two seasons. That's exactly what I'm saying. I guess he's not somebody who will be drafting in this draft. No. No. No. Should we all get like one true veto? One Vita. Yeah, everyone gets one true veto. Yeah, I think that's true. I think that's true. We are outweighing the other two who are essential. So do I use, I don't know, Patriots player or Ravens player? I'm using mine. I'm Christian McCaffrey. If you guys are gonna push from it. I'm using Mono Mark Andrews. I'm not, I'm not drafting himself. In a 16 team league, we're not drafting CMC. You're not wrong, you're not wrong. Uh, not, not much else to the news into it. I mean, Cedric Tillman released. I still remember that like three gave stretch. He had a couple of years ago where I was like, this is the next thing with Tillman was after they drafted Denzel Boston. They're like, yeah, we finally got this big body receiver that we haven't had on the offense for like years. And Cedric Tillman's like, am I already cut? It's, it's the, uh, I think you should leave meme of him in the hat. Like, what the hell? Like they're talking about me, uh, Texans, uh, right tackle brain. Smith avoids major injury. That's just a good thing because obviously that offensive line has been really problematic in the past. Um, and then we have like two minutes here before the draft starts, but I will just throw out the Pro Bowl is no more. Uh, there will still be Pro Bowl designations for players. This is news that came out yesterday, um, but the actual, uh, game itself will no longer be played. It's been a really interesting stretch, uh, the last like half decade or so of every major sports league, trying to kind of like figure out what to do with their all star weekend, their all star game. They smallest really the best because it's such an easy game to play without worrying about injury over exerting yourself. Football obviously the hardest of in that regard of avoiding injury. So Pro Bowl had become a real joke in recent years. I don't think anybody's going to miss the actual game. Uh, Erickson, what's your reaction to this? Good riddance. Hallelujah. Get rid of this point. It's still around that they were turning into a gimmick by transforming it into flag football. I remember they had the Deon Sanders Jerry Rice drafts. It's lame and it should not exist. Teams are way too preoccupied with trying to keep their guys healthy. And the pro bowl was just inviting bad things and it was just turning into an absolute joke. So I get that they have to keep it around because of the accolades and it's in player contracts. I mean, what wasn't should our Sanders pro bowler last year? Yes. Yes. It just, it just turned into a total joke. High five. I think I may pro bowler if they got rid of it all together and just make it about the all pros, right? That's another thing that we voted for and it seems like it's much more accurate in terms of capturing the actual best players. And who should be rewarded for each position? You're an all pro at tight end receiver, etc. And all pros voted on by the media. I do think it's nice that fans can give their vote. So then we should have a fantasy. There should be a fantasy football award in the real NFL voted by the fans of fantasy. Like that should exist because the thing about pro bowl designations. Now if there's no game is there's not going to be people like it's just whoever gets voted in there. It's not going to be like, Oh, I'm not going to play in this game. So now we need a third alternate that's how like the Tyler Huntley's in the sugar sanders is become pro bowlers in this. It'll still it'll now just be the guys that were voting. The fan base is a little bit better. No, I think that that just goes back to whoever's gotten voted in the pro bowl still doesn't get off of there off a merit. And because of their performance, it goes back to the size of the no. It goes back to the size of the fan bases and how much they vote for the players. It's still garbage. Get rid of all the pro bowl crap. Get it out of it by gone forever. Don't care. Haven't cared for at least 15 years. Expand the all pros like, yes, that that is the answer. All right, okay. A draft and starting drafts getting going here. Let me just let everybody know as the draft gets going that if you want to win a ladenian Thomas and signed Jersey, this is your shot. All you to do subscribe to the tailgate YouTube channel right now. Drop a comment below on any video. That is it. We'll be announcing a winner right here on the channel. So make sure to turn on those notifications. So you can know a new videos are up and to claim your prize. Again, that is a signed ladenian. Thomas and Jersey very fitting on this episode, given his historical standing amongst fantasy players. One of the all time great seasons back in 2006. Hey, this is David Port and Sean Clements. We host the podcast. Hollywood handbook on the big money players network. Our show is extremely accessible to first time listeners. Each week we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us. Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman. Not that great. I actually can you help me can can can you help me shape this? Yeah. How about we flip it on his head? Right? How about we flip this around? Okay. What is the surprise one then? Well, actually, you think as the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott. This entire time you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never let go of that. I have. I would never set expectations for something like that. It sounds like if the universe allows for something like that to happen. I am open to. I'm always going to accept, you know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity exuding. I could smell it walking on the hallway to be honest with you. I was exactly I was exactly. No, it's fragile masculinity. Yeah, Ben still or no? Because a lot of times in out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is. You know what I mean? Like you're like, oh, it's so stupid around everyone. So dumb and fake, right? Fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show. And he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etch. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there. Is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule great and decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bull. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test too. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Munga Shatekater and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive. This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about and what it really means to live forever for all of us. I learned about some rad science. I can make a brain for you and then we can test what draw is the best for your brain. A suppose to his brain. Here's some hard truths. I would expect Indians to age faster but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year acceleration and get myself into a world of trouble. I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make you look more defined. They say it works. I don't know. Listen to Skyline Drive, how to live forever on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Let's get going here. A four picks already in Gibbs, Bijan, Jamar Chase, Jackson Smith and Jigba. Guys, we are one pick away. Who are we looking at at 106? My early inclination is to push for a running back just given that I think it's a pretty weak position and especially in a big league like this. However, I don't know if there's a guy we're all going to agree on. What are you guys thinking? Puka, I'm on raw and James Cook, top of my queue. Puka, go back or go home. Maybe Puka falls to us. I feel like he's an auto pick. He's there. He's there. We got him done. Puka. Yeah, they went on raw next was the next pick. Puka, I'm okay with that. I didn't think it was going to be there. All right, I do definitely think we should target a running back next time around. Great. 16 team Lee. Well, actually, let's get into that as kind of there's going to be none of the tailors next. Well, yeah, that's kind of my concern. What is your strategy and how does it differ DeBro in a 16 team league versus a more standard 10 or 12 team? I think we kind of touched on this a little bit earlier when we were just kind of waxing poetic about players and cults and what have you. I feel like in these deeper leagues, you have to sacrifice somewhere. I'm sacrificing a quarterback and tight end. That's where I think we should sacrifice that. You push those two ones. You positions down the board. We cobble together or those rooms and we hammer running back and white receiver. But that's my two sides. The format is one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, two flexes, DST, no kickers, five bench spots, 16 teams, half PPR, the special rules because you can do that on fan track, which is really cool. If you lose a fumble, it's minus four points because we do not tolerate putting the ball on the ground, okay? So we're not drafting based on two fumbles. We've got it. Okay. Or remind your students. We're not. We don't mess around with that stuff. If you fumble, you're going to the bench. Just fumble up the fumble leaders of last year and just make our two nut drafts. Probably. And then you also have the bonuses that I threw in. So you get three points. If you go for 300 passing yards, you get three points. If you go for 100 receiving yards, three points. You got like DK style bonuses in this. Yeah. Yeah. So like, how is this a little fun here? Okay. Because what's the quarterback touchdown interception? Is it like four minus two? Is it six or passing touchdown and minus two for an interception? Just minus one. Interceptions are quarterbacks faults all the time. But fumbles like that's on you. That's why you're gonna pay the price. - Minus four. You're lucky I didn't make it more. - I'll give a quick recap of the first round. I'm not gonna do this for everyone 'cause there's 16 picks around. But just to give everybody a sense of how this first round is going, Gibbs, Bijan, Chase, JSN, Amunross, St. Brown, Pukka, Nukuah, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, Justin Jefferson, Christian McCaffrey. That's the top 10. Then we have CD, Lam, Chase, Brown, and Mary and Hampton, Seikwang, Barclay, AJ Brown, and Kenneth Walker is the final pick of Round One. So that is what Round One has looked like in the 16 team league. Now guys, as we wait for our next pick to come back to us, we talked a little bit about throwing out the possibility of some kind of punishment, not for the entire league, but since it's sort of everybody trying to be the super team, the Avengers of the tailgate crew here working together. Do we want to offer a punishment if we, let's say, miss the playoffs or finishing last is gonna be too hard 'cause there's 16 teams. But if we miss the playoffs, should we do something for the fans? - Hello. - Who do we actually do for the 16th? - If we're, let's have a miss the playoffs punishment and a finish 16th punishment. - Yes, I would agree. I think there should be a caveat. If we actually do finish 16th, then we have to do something very, very horrible. But I agree, if we miss the playoffs, six teams make the playoffs here. So we're not doing the ES. Oh, yeah, half the teams make it in the playoffs. No, no, no, again. This is not, this isn't a super, super fun in terms of, no, we're playing some, by the rules here. So I don't know exactly what we want to do. - We want to do a tailgate show with the three of us like in those loser's singlets from trophy smack. - We good. - We good. We just look like a high school wrestling team talking about football. - I've had a post of that. Let's take through some options here. - People really want us to eat things like spicy food. - I'm really do not handle spicy food well. - I can't do it. - I drink an IPA for the people. - I'll do that. - For me, so you say you will drink an IPA for the people. - I'll drink an IPA for the people. - Okay. - We're up here in a second. Where do you think we should go with this? I'm kind of feeling like, do we pull two running backs up the board? - Well, considering. - You know what I'm gonna say? The running backs are so bad. - Bad. - The board already. - Are they? - I feel pretty good about these running backs. Like we still got Breeze, Javante, Travis H. That's what I was saying. - I mean, I'm doing a double tap of some sort of-- - I think we're running back. - Are we pushing it? - Especially in this format, where you only have to start two wide receivers in this that Ericsson made. - That's true. - I have a hookah. - I was saying Nico, he just went here. The couple of picks was before us. So the other receiver option, and I think we're all to agreement now. - They're gonna try. - Not taking the trick right or Josh Allen. - We're on. - We're definitely, we're all to agreement on that. So it's Pickins, Devantist Smith, Rishi Rice, Garrett Wilson, Zay Flowers, Jalen Waddle. These are like the receivers that are at the top of the board in the fantasy pros rankings. Running back is Breese Hall, Jeremiah Love, Kyron. Maybe interesting in this format with just a little bit of stuff going there. - I'm on the clock. - Zay does good here. - I would push. - I want Breese. - I mean, I don't want to take Breese, I want to take Pickins. - You want to take Pickins? - Pickins feels like the value pick here. - We're gonna be struggling at RB2 if we don't double tap running back. - We can get HN on the way back. We can get HN on the way back, or Zay? - HN. - Were you seeing Devant HN? - Travis. - Oh, Travis HN. Okay. - Yeah. - And then what are we doing for RB2? - RB2 with a 16-teamer? - I mean, everybody's going to be heard somewhere in a 16-teamer. - Okay. - That to me is like everybody's going to be hurting. I don't just-- - I didn't realize it. - Zay Flowers already went. A two-tanker. - Yeah, he went right in front of us before us. - Because they knew you guys were on this team. - We can go with Breese, we can get HN. So like those are two running backs. We can even get like, Swift. - I think we're about to get crushed at this turn. I think we're about, these two teams behind us have, everybody behind us has one running back to this point. I think it's going to go run, maybe I'm wrong. We'll see. - Smith goes to the next pick. So that's a receiver that helps us. - Put your guys in the queue then. - I'm sorry, Erickson, did you say this is half PPR? I forgot. - Yes, half PPR. - Half, okay, okay. Kyron goes there. - I don't want Kyron. That's fine. - Are we interested like middle of round three in a league this size in the injury risk of Jeremiah Love, like just in it to win it swing big or no? - No, I don't want to. - I mean, if he's only running back left. - I was going to say I like if the worst. - If Breese and Jacob's in HN are gone, then maybe we don't have a choice. - So I mean, so HN that was like, is like the dream pick if he falls, right? - I like HN. I don't think he really wants a cue. - Breese Hall. - I mean, I want to Breese. - I want to HN. - Yeah. - I don't want to. - I just need one of them there. - Swift, Swift is fine. - Right, thank you. - It has to be a running back, even if we're reaching, no doubt. - Yeah. - But so far, I mean, we're getting a little lucky here. - I think. - Yeah, see, there's an only one running back that went was Kyron, and these guys are having a running back. - There are still, okay. - I think this time it's going to hurt us, but we'll see. - There are still five picks to go. Yeah, I mean, you could be right, but Breese, Jacob's, HN, if it's not Travis, do we have, who's our favorite running back? - So I go Hall, HN, love, Swift. Not, you don't want Jacob's? I'm not drafting Jacob's in a 16-teamer. We will be screwed. - This, yeah, I don't, I don't want Jacob's. - That's fine. - I know that's where we prepared to take Marchion Lloyd, like two rounds ahead ADP. - Like, not fighting you. - No, I mean, again, I didn't look. So only one run back has gone since we drafted Pickens. I thought Pickens fell. I get that he's not like perfect, but I mean, to get him, we'll save HN Falls. - Yeah, I mean, it's like, that's like what the two of us did. - Where do you were talking about HN? - They're like, dude, HN, man, you're HN, you're insane. - I say it differently than everybody else. So, then the way he, that's why I was like, - Say, say it wrong. - So, you know, I say it correctly. - You're not fluent in Cajun. It's not my fault. - Do you guys see the news update on the Green Bay Packers? They signed you on who Smith? - Who? - Are you in again? - Are you sure? - I think it's kind of interesting. - I mean, I just think that that tells you everything you need to know about Luke Musgrave. - Two picks away. - Two picks away in love in HN. - Oh, what do you know? - Come on, come on, baby. Let's go. - And now see, one of love in HN would be there. Are we interviewing on HN over love? Just in a 16 team in the age of years? - Yes. - Come on. - HN or David Montgomery? - Come on. Dungeons and Dragons, don't do it to us. - What? - Let's see it. - I'm really nervous. - Watch. - Prepared for pain, watch. - Oh, let's go. - You see it before we are. - I know, I was like, I'm not saying anything yet. - Let's go. - There we go. Okay. - I'm gonna veto HN here. No, it's getting-- - Travis HN. - So Puka, Pickens, and then we get a pretty good running back. I trust-- - I think this is pretty good. - Okay, my problem was not that. My problem is, what the heck are we gonna do at RB2? 'Cause I feel like it is gonna get wiped out before-- - I will see. - We'll see. - We could-- - Maybe, we'll see. - I just, I worry. - It is a lot lighter with Robodre Steven and completely off the board. So we'll see who's actually available. - Robodre Steven, oh, you're vetoing. - No, no, he's talking about the fumbling. - He's back at the fumbling. - Yes, yes. - By the way, John-- - Oh, yeah, no, he's-- - You took him off the board with the score. - I can't understand. - I don't care if we got drafted. - I can't believe Derek Henry got drafted off of it. Oh, his fumble last year. Geez. Guy, Josh Allen goes to your middle round three in a 16 team league. - Interesting. - We do the top three tight ends are already off the board. Two of them going round two and then love them goes with the first pick for round three. - Got a pun. - We got a pun. - Yeah, I'm punting you. - I read those 16 team, we all have late round picks. We like there. We can easily just take like Mark Andrews and be fine. I know we all agree with you. - No. - Yeah, I would rather have-- - I'd rather have Terence Ferguson than Mark Andrews. - Mark Andrews is over under our touchdowns this year is higher than Zay Flowers. - Well, you're just laying out that Vegas is wrong. - So. - Dude, I'm doing, I'm filming a social short later today. Number one, Zay Flowers over five and half receiving touchdowns. Lock. Lock. - We still need to come up with that bet too. Our head to head Zay Flowers, Andrews touched out bet. - I mean, I could just bet with you instead of paying the rake at a sports book. If that's what you want to do instead. - Yeah, I agree with that. I agree with that. - Can you just take the action? - Yeah, I can just give you the money. Hold the money and just give it to you at the end of the season. - Worm is become a bookie, it's his other job. - Some of the recent picks here, Tenerovic, Bill, and Amecha, Buca, Diandre, Swift, Rishi, Rice, David Mucca, we can't even let him let him go. - Tyel Warren. - Oh, sorry. - I mean, he was a late addition. - You got grim in this league. It's coming up in the pain. I mean, look at who's drafted already. Chase for additive Mucca. He's going zero wide receiver, Bill. - Zero wide receivers. - You got it, you got to sacrifice somewhere. - Dude, more running backs means more fumbles. - You're saying. If you're gonna go zero, you're gonna have to do it now. - Well, we didn't go zero or B, so you know. - I know. - That's a good point. - I mean, A. Chan, he's not gonna put the ball in the turf. He's, he's, I hope not. - Is there a play with it next week just BPA? I kind of think it should be, because we have a flex spot we can throw a receiver in. - Yeah, I think it's, there's two flex spots. - All right, it's two. - So we're getting, we're getting to a lot of green running backs. - Oh, if I'd know there was two flex spots, I would have said we should have waited another round on running back. - So, well, I'm glad you didn't know that. - That's some glad. - No. - No, I like that we got A. Chan, what we did? - No, I know, I'm just kidding. - I think we take the swing on Basel Tut in a Gidearium price that they fall to us at RB2. What are y'all thoughts here? - I'd rather. I like a dunesay a lot, um, upside, so we got Jamo. I look into this flat tier of wide receivers and a lot of the guys we really like are getting, like, crushed right now, Parker, Washington, Christian Watson, just go, well, that's that's what I'm saying. I actually don't see it as that flat tier of receiver. I feel like I feel like a dunesay, James and Williams and then carnaultator, like my three favorite left. And then it's like, I think it gets ugly at receiver kind of quick. Well, who's so, so okay. So like, who's more likely to be running back to what's more likely to fall back to us then based on the board here. A wide receiver running back a receiver. You think receiver. I think the receivers are going to go here next is my guess. I could be wrong around the turn on these wide receivers. Yeah, but you know, some of them have two running backs already. I mean, I mean, if price goes right here, then I'm fine just punting running back. But like if price is here, I think if it were me, this pick would be a dunesay because I really like him. I'm also open to James and Williams that receiver running back is like, I don't know. I mean, like, I'm cool with a dunesay like, like to me, a dunesay, I worry about his foot. There goes JMO. All right, then who do you want to do today? If you don't want a dunesay, who do you want then, Debra? We we are up in Ramajray, just went. I want to do in price. But like if we're going wide receiver, I guess it's carnaultator Chris Godwin for me. Oh, see, I like a dunesay. God want to be available later. Okay. Well, I would I would go to a dunesay or price would be the pit what I would pick between my vote would be a dunesay. I'm open to whatever I just feel like it's either price or Jonathan Brooks. You take him here. One of those two because what he's not going to come back to us. Jonathan Brooks will not come back to us. So if you want him, you take okay, who would be to oh, we took okay. So the running backs that were prices in the queue back price. Tates in the queue Brooks Henderson's in the queue. Do we like one of the Steelers running backs if they get back to us? I mean, Rico gets that. I mean, fine. Say John, the Brooks going to be a price is still available. He's still on the board. Quenchon, Jackins gone. Yep, we don't want him anyway. I get we only have to start to we'll have to start to running backs. Yeah, we only had to start two wide receivers, too. Yeah, there's price. I do feel like maybe bullies. Nobody's listening to the main receiver fix. Hey, man, it worked the last time where we got a chair and it did not work here. It didn't work this time. Who so, yeah, I mean, like Henderson is still there. Warren Pollard, Doudal, RJ Harvey. These are the top names in ECR right now at running back. I mean, again, everybody's going to be hurting somewhere. This is the nature of a 16 team. We we're not going to have like a perfect team. So I mean, I feel like at this point, we just take another wide receiver because all these running backs right into it. Yeah, I mean, at this point, like we just lean into a hero build and say, we'll figure RB to the hell out. We just take a crap on a handcuffs. I mean, at this point, Henderson is still available. Okay. So he's a price in handcuffs. He's not going to be the starter. Why are we taking Henderson? Cause he makes big plays and he's not the starter. Well, there's you already talked about this one. Hey, he's a laundry is the starter. Okay. But we didn't we're getting him we're not paying like that much for him. We are nobody here is is like a truth. Besides like Tony Pollard is like a real guaranteed starter left. So any running back we take is going to be in that bucket. Like I don't see a big difference between Travian Henderson and Jordan Mason at this point. So why don't we just take another wide receiver if we're going to do that. Like with this team, I mean, I'll take Mike Evans, dude. It's either him or have like I feel like Evans, if we want to win from the flex with this build with four wide receivers and we're starting you take Mike Evans. I feel like that's embracing the rest of the upside. We're oh, and he goes up for us. All right, Chris Godwin would be my vote. I would be fine. Henderson, it's not like we don't want you. So yeah, yeah. I like Henderson. I just feel like with this team build, like we've already kind of gone with here are these. So like we're just going to chase our B2 up the board. All right, so what is you want going in now? Yeah, I'm just less interested in Godwin. Yeah, I'm totally fine doing it. Yeah, he's a hundred. He's a hundred and twenty targets. Yeah, I'm okay with it. Because I feel like at this point, probably with the way the team builds are, we can get one of like Kenneth Gamewell, Rashad White, JK Dobbins, Jordan Mason. One of those guys will fall back to us at that point. Probably with the way that these team builds. Because the other side of the board, every other team behind us has, has at least most of these teams have two if not three running backs behind us. Like only, I mean, one of them has gone there and they're going to be, they're going to be racking up negative points weekly because of all their fumbles. So just to recap our five picks so far. Pukinakua, George Pickens, Travis HN, Roma Dunes, they Chris Godwin, very receiver heavy. But we can start all of them because we have two flexes here. Just to recap some of the other positions off the board so far. Quarterback, our Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Drake May and Joe Burrow, off the board at tight end, our Brock Bauer's, Tray McBride, Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren, and Tucker Kraft. And then of course, a bunch of running backs and receivers off the board. So far, Trayvon Henderson goes here, the 5/11, Quentin Johnson goes here at the 5/12. So we still got some right. And he's like, Jordan Mason is still available. Dobbins is still available. Like, there's some running backs and we can, Harvey's available. I mean, all the Broncos run backs are available. So yeah, we can piecemeal an RB2 spot here. Let me ask a strategy question here for you guys. When you are playing in a league like this where you have some of those scoring bonuses, are you thinking about that with big plays? And you know, big, like, are you thinking about a 100 yard extra three points, stuff like that, or are you not really paying close attention to that? No, because I think that the illness is still draft good players. They get volume and good players that put up stats. So like, if that's the main, if that's the sauce, it stays the sauce. Okay. Well, I think it just for me, it helps kind of separate like the players that can do well in fantasy that aren't really good real life players versus because the best players are getting further rewarded for being the best players. So I think that's something to keep in mind, especially in the later rounds where it's like, hey, maybe this guy's situation is kind of like not the best in terms of like where he is in the pecking order or the team environment, but if we know that the players really good, and when he does have opportunities, you know he's going to smash, then he can fully take advantage of, oh, well, if this guy does get to start a game like, yeah, I could seem going over 100 yards or a quarterback passing for 300 yards. Again, that's just another reason why going late run quarterback here is awesome, because we know that either it's a mobile guy or guy that throws for 300 yards consistently, they're going to get even more points, especially in half PPR overall. I was just going to say when you say late round quarterback, Erickson, are you thinking like, I know the guys you've generally been targeting have been Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, Caleb Williams, are you thinking about that as late round? Like you're just outside the top, you know, clear cut top six or so, or are you thinking like for this draft to particular, you want to go like, go for Willis or somebody that's really going later? Dude, I mean, I think, I think that's honestly, go more in because again, like you're locking you at golf and love, golf and Kylin, like you're like two guys that you can piece meal together, what you want to do a quarterback each and every week. Shuck almost, because you're sacrificing so much. So it's 16 team league. What rounds is that? Are you thinking is it like eight, nine? I think it's going to be dependent upon every league to be different. I think we kind of read the board and let like, there are six off the board so far. But we start considering it once like 11 or 12 quarterbacks go off the board and get ahead and see how the board plays out. I didn't want to train like, you know, steer the ship or take us somewhere different here, but like, I've been kind of workshopping this take. I want to, I'm curious what y'all think. I'm getting more and more interested in Jordan Mason because I think the Vikings are going to be a run heavy team this year and I don't trust or I don't trust Aaron Jones to stay healthy. Like, I think the Vikings might be like a top five rushing rate team this year. I want to go either. I want to run you back here and I want to go on Blake Korm or Jordan Mason. I have Korm well ahead of Mason personally. Is that just hate like straight up handcut value because like, the Rams are the going to be the heavy favorites in every game they play this season. I think he's going to run the ball at time. But what's his outside of if Kyron stays, it doesn't matter. It doesn't, it doesn't matter. Oh, he's off the board. He's off the board. It doesn't matter. It's already dead. Yeah, I would have lost the battle anyway. Jordan Mason is the pay. I'm fine. I'm glad he got drafted. Okay, we can do it. Mason. Yeah. Mason game. Well, Bill, one of those guys. Yeah, I probably for a game. Well, but I know I know DeRoe likes Mason. I'm fine. We might be able to get a game. I don't see a gap between them. Do you want to go another running back around the turn? Since we only have two, we don't have to go running back again. You have two running backs. So we basically have our starting lineup minus the onesy positions. Yeah, which I'm cool to continue to punt. Yeah, like, I mean, honestly, I would consider fanning if he came back around just because he's the he's the last of that like top seven or eight tight ends that I do think there's a gap. I'm not pounding the table for it. I'm just saying it's something he's somebody I would consider. I mean, we could say like, would we rather take a guy who's going to be on the bench for us and just have more bench options or would we rather take like, I do love Herbert, right? And this late in a 16 team league, I wouldn't be opposed to it either like dipping into the onesies. I'm not again, I'm not pounding the table for it, but I'm also not opposed to it. If we don't like the other options that running back in the receiver. I don't want to go one Z position right here. Okay. I, I want Dale is going to catch a ton of passes, honestly, like Ryan Debal bringing him in and like, but it's half point. So that's true, but so just kind of standard empty calories, but so okay, so skill position players, who are you pounding the table for? Like, that's kind of what I want to know, because again, if there's no one, I get what we're saying, where if you like, if you don't like anybody and you're like, okay, I got to take the quarterback, I really like, I'm cool with that, but okay, so you like gain well, I'm cool with gain well, where do you have someone that you want to pound the table for at a skill position? It's not quarterback or tight end. I am okay with gain well, I would not fight that. My like, again, I'm not pounded a table. My like, I mean honestly, like, I know he's going to get hurt. JK Dobbins, I think, is going to be productive until he gets hurt. And just if we're expecting that thing, just take Jonah Coleman later. I mean, I think we could do both. I wouldn't be opposed to taking Dobbins and Coleman, honestly, I did have, I did have Kevin conception on in the queue. I would have been okay with conception, honestly. Yeah, I think, I mean, Jordan Addison, I don't love, but I'm just like, I think it's a talented player. I think my vote would be gain well or Dobbins here. If we're not going tight end or quarter. Yeah, I'm pounded with that. Like, I think it's gain well with Dobbins. And if we get Dobbins, try to get Jonah Coleman or even try to get Jonah Coleman later, I just look at the water here. I want to go after Coleman, regardless of whether we get Dobbins or not. I think he's a good pick anyway. No, I agree with it. I just look at the water receivers here. And I'm like, I like Dobbs. I like Dylan Coker. But I feel like we could punt that and get like, you know, a Don Tavy and Wicks later or K. Sean Booty or something like that. Like, I feel like you can gain some more production. I was running back to overuse you. For me, if it was just me drafting, it would probably be fan and I'm not going to push it. I know you guys don't want to go ones. So in that case, I say it's one of the three running activities. Game where or Dobbins. I think we can go. You want to Dobbins? I think one game. Oh, no, I'm fine with either. Like I don't feel strongly. I'm totally fine as game. Well, if that's what I just don't turn back every single year. But he's every. I don't just stay healthy. Do not. Yeah, I don't think it's going to stay healthy the whole season. I think he's going to be real productive when he's on the field. He was the number one guy last year. I don't think gold. I'm not. So you're just making the case to draft Sean a Coleman. Dobbins was the number one guy last year until getting hurt. I think what he's on the field, he's going to still be the number one guy. But I still do want Coleman. Again, even though we didn't take Dobbins, I'm definitely going to board with him. Yeah, no, I think gain well, gain well gives us a lot more versatility. I think because he could have a really stable value and we have the attention outside. Again, I was not fighting against gain well. I'm just making the case for why I liked Dobbins. But I think that Dobbins, I mean, Dobbins also benefited from the Broncos having a really easy schedule the beginning of last year. And then when the schedule got tough, he got hurt. So RJ Harvey was the one running into all these brick walls. And everyone then said, oh, he sucks at rushing the football, even though he's facing a top 10 run defense every single week, which JK Dobbins did not have to face. And then this season, the Broncos face a very similar schedule to the schedule they face in the second half of last year. I mean, if the Broncos are going to be up tempo passing the ball, that's not really JK Dobbins. Like, that is more of the RJ Harvey Jonah Coleman types of players. I agree. I agree. Out of the back to which has not really been Dobbins game. Not to say that he can't do it. And then there's always the caveat that he gets hurt. Do you think they're going to not win as many games this year? Because I think they're going to be really good this year overall. Still good. So like, so in their games, I think they're going to be running on 14th of last year. I don't know. I'm not saying that they're going to, you know, have 13 wins or whatever this season. But I think they're generally going to be one of the better teams in the AFC. And we're talking, I mean, again, Dobbins off the board. It's not like it matters for us. But just in general, like, I think job is going to end up being a value early in seasons, even against a tougher schedule. It's just like, you know, it's going to get hurt at some point. But in a league like this, I'm like, everybody's going to be weak somewhere. So having a guy that we think is really good early, I think is smart. And again, I'm just talking strategy wise with listeners. I know it's not applicable to our situation. I'm just adding wider severs and running backs to the queue and stuff like that. Like, who do you all know how to make you know what? By the way, who is the late tight end that we want? I'm totally fine with us going with a multitude of guys, either like going the George Kittle route and immediately backing that up with the Dallas Goddard or an Isaiah likely or a Jawan Johnson or punting it further and going with like a Jawan Johnson Isaiah likely Dalton Schultz or Brenton Strange build. Brenton Strange is really interesting to me because if there's any injuries, his per-route metrics are freaking bent at the volume opens up for him. He could be a top 12 guy and he's no we're close to being drafted. I kind of think if he's there, our next pick should be George Kittle. I'm fine with that. I think it's late enough. Yeah. And he has. I'm fine with that type of high level upside that other tight ends in that are available. I think if we do that, immediately we go Kittle and Dallas Goddard and we're done at tight end. That would be my vote. I am on board with that. What do you think part of Sean Lloyd goes here? Debra. Yeah. I think he wasn't going to make it back to us about where him was going to take it. Find us. Three teams between our picks. Three teams need a tight end before us and then three teams after behind us. Three of the four teams are two two teams after us like in that one to five range. Still need one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just two. Okay. If we don't get Kittle, do you want to go likely? If we don't get Kittle, I'm fine punting it. I was going to say if we don't get Kittle, I'm good waiting till the next pick. Yeah. To take it. Same. Okay. Then same. Okay. So what receiver running back do you want instead then? I would I know that it's like sounds ugly and gross. I would make it make the case for Tyler Algier. If Jeremiah Love is really slow early on or misses anytime, like I do think he'll get opportunity. And again, it's a 16 team league. Like guys getting volume even in gross offence is I think matters. I would also be on the board too. I would say Algier and Coleman will be my picks. If it's not Kittle, then I think it's Debo or Denzel Boston. That's just me. Debra, you don't want to go Jonah Coleman yet. You want to wait another round? I think we can wait until the ninth round. I mean, he is the sixth highest rated running back right now in ECR. So like in terms of the guys who are currently still available. So like he might not get back to our next pick, which is okay, but I'm just saying that. Am I not? I mean, well, again, we also got to figure out the tight end thing too. If we're if we're not going tight in here. Okay, so it's not. I'm sorry, I think we just tied in. I think we punt tied in. So you don't want to tie them with any of our next two picks. I would say definitely not with the next pick. I would consider it in the next. Like I don't want to tie in the. I don't think we should do it. I don't think we should say a little bit of a tight end run is happening. Yeah, I said I don't want to hear, but I would mind one in the ninth. Yeah, but again, you have to sacrifice somewhere. I'm willing more willing to sacrifice at tight end and quarterback than I am running back on white receiver in a 16. Okay, so I like likely here. You guys want who instead of running back a receiver? Which one? I would take Algerian Coleman or Tyler Algier. Would those would be my two that I'd pick between if it were me. And then at receiver, like I'd probably go Boston, honestly. Yeah, okay, so we're up. For me, it's Jonah Coleman or Denzel Boston or Debo. Those are my top three guys who ever want to talk of those two. I would go Coleman or Boston. I don't hate Debo, but I like Coleman. I'm good with Coleman here. I mean, we're putting together a pretty freaking good running back room man, considering we just cobbled together. This just feels like a zero RB team or a hero RB team. And I like the builds so far. I think we caught up at running back well. Yeah, I agree. Honestly, so now we have four receivers and four running backs. I wouldn't mind a tight end here on the next round. I'm not going to push it. I'm open to it though. Goddard would be my pick then. If we go tight end. I like likely. I'm fine with likes. I like this. Honestly, warm. Do you have a do you have a allegiance to your former Raven? Or do you like I feel? No, he's not a Raven anymore. He's dead to hell. I feel I feel very like this is a very flat range of tight ends for me. Like, I would be very open to the case for any of like the next five or six ranked guys. So I don't feel strongly about it. If I like, you know, forced me to pick if I was the only one here making this decision, I think I would probably go Goddard. But it is like a not a big margin for me. I just I feel a lot better about Goddard. Like all the stuff about Eli's hours coming out. Like he is going to be redshirted this year. Like, I don't think he's going to be a part of the offense. Like, I think Goddard's going to be a big time part of this offense. Now, there are four teams after our next pick who still need a tight end. So we could just wait another round and say, hey, you know what? Let's go get like Dylan Sampson or Denzel Boston. And just like because Debo's gone, Algier's gone. But like if we wanted to just get Boston or Sampson or somebody else that you guys want to make a pitch for and say, hey, there's only four teams that still need a tight end before our next pick. And we'll just trust that not all of these guys go. I'm okay with that. But I'm also okay with just taking Goddard lightly too. Again, I don't feel strongly. I mean, I mean, I want to say that by the way, I'd like to address one of the tight ends. Because we like the tight ends anyway. And I think actually coach is saying that there's maybe a tear drop off. I think they gave me some notification or something about buy weeks. We have four players on the same buy week. Is what I just saw from that. That's fine. It'll be. Well, I don't care about buy weeks. I could not care. We should not care at all. Don't look at them. Don't care. I don't. So whichever tight ender's false to us. No. Boston went. - So Boston's already on the show. - Wait, what happened? - Tayden, we're already on the show. - We're already on the show. - Yeah, let's make our pick quickly for first. I think it's got her likely. - Yeah, I just want you to, I like you pick. - Worm, you make this. - I would probably go got it. - I would go got it of the two. - I just feel better about his route here. Like I know he's going to be a full-time player. I think that about likely, but again. - Let the record show, I want Isaiah likely for all those watching. - The record will show. - I don't see what happens. - Yeah, I like that one too. - He's like a 26- - I think you're right in the play. - He's like a 26- - Are you playing in the play? - When, I'm doing all right. - AJ Brown has missed games. So, now if he gets back, I was going to say, I wouldn't mind going back-to-back tight ends and taking away with the next pick if he's there. I'm totally aboard with that. - Cool. - And I'm even fine if we wanted to go, say he goes, I'm fine with us even taking an upside swing at this point and don't concade. Like, 'cause if he does get the full-time route share, he could be a top five guy in a 16-teamer. - Yeah, down with that. - I mean, I think Isaiah like it could be a top five guy too. - I don't disagree. I was playing it out if likely it was gone. - I would rather likely, but yeah. - Can you show him booty? Oh, also to, I don't know if you guys got the update. So, the unknown player, I don't know why it's showing up like that, but it's Jacobi Lane. - So, I don't know why, if for some reason, it doesn't matter. - Oh, that's weird. - That was drafted. - Yeah, maybe because he was drafted so ahead of ADP. - He's an N-D-N-P-C. - That's hilarious. - Oh, I have no idea why. Unless they drafted like, Jalen Lane, I got to double. I just see Jalen Lane. - I mean, maybe Jacobi Lane has become so good, he's turned into like a creative player. I mean, who knows? I mean, all the beatwriters out of Baltimore thinks that he's going to be a Hall of Famers. - Fancy and deep fans are going off the board here too. Couple D-S-D-E, couple of Texans, Broncos. - I was gonna make the case for Emma Johnson. He goes here. Isaiah likely goes as well. - All right, likely's gone. All right, King Cade's next up then, as an option. If we want to double tap. - King Cade or Jalen still got a lot of four Macs left. - King Cade. - King Cade's gone. - Yeah, we still have, like just that quarterback, Purdy, Bodenix, Mahalem, Stafford, Gough, Kyler, George, Lovshan, Logan, Man. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - Again, like we pick two guys and we're good to go. Like, piece of cake. - I was gonna say, are we gonna take two quarterbacks? 'Cause we only have five picks. Wavers are gonna be pretty good at Baron. Again, 'cause it's 16 teams, so. - So we're taking one tight end and two quarterbacks with our next five picks, right? - Yes. - We want to have two of each. Okay, so that means we only have two running back receiver picks left. - I think we go tight end and quarterback with our next two picks, depending on who's there. Like, but that's only if, oh, did John Johnson just go? - He did, so never mind. Okay, so like, honestly, I'm fine with us going quarterback, quarterback here, guys. Like, what do you think? - Double tap it. Yeah, I think it makes sense if we're not over the moon about any running back or wide receiver. Again, if you really want somebody speak now or forever hold your piece, if not, again, we do have to draft quarterbacks at some point and the values there, the guys there, let's just take that. - I think we can start the run. I think the run is gonna happen, also true. - The rest of the QBs, after our pick, all those teams already have quarterbacks. - I know, but they're gonna get a QB2 and a 16 teamer. Maybe, I don't think they're all gonna get a QB2. - Oh, I agree with warm. I think maybe our next pick, we don't have to go quarterback. We can wait till the turn around. - But then the one after that should be at least. - Yeah, we should start to get at least one. - So some of the running backs and receivers, I'm just like, you know, you're not, you're obviously wearing like a real handcuffed territory. Like Brian Robinson, Ray Davis, Videll. - That's what I'm saying. Like Sean Tucker, Nick Singleton, not really any of them, honestly, for me, 80 Mitchell, the debut of Stray Harris. I mean, these are some. - I don't know, I don't really. - Pat Bryant, Malik Washington, these are the receivers that Rashad Paytman. - I wouldn't say no to Trey Harris. - But I'm not getting on that panic table for any of these guys. - Court of Nick Coach. - Well, which quarterback do you want? - I would go with phone next. - I think if there's so many quarterbacks I like. - I think Botanix and we go like, go pure up like Botanix, if he goes before us. - I mean, golf, 'cause you get bonuses for 300 passing yards. - I think we go next to golf, and then back it up with Malik Willis. - I kind of like golf Willis as the pair. - Yeah, I think we should go quarterback quarterback. I think we should just take two quarterbacks. We're done and then we take our lead. - And Botanix just went. - Botanix, I think it's gonna happen. - Let's go golf here and then an upside quarterback. - Golf, last time we went against D-Bro in this so-called run that was gonna happen. He was right, so. - Oh, what's that? - Let's just do it. - Jared Gough. - Jared Gough, the official quarterback of the tailgate fantasy team is happening. We're good, Jared Gough. - Yes. - We're gonna do guys every single week. - I'm good. - Let's go, baby. - Jared Gough. And then I think we go tower shocker Malik Willis. Willis is my pick if he comes back. - I will point out, Malik Willis says the same by week as Jared Gough. - Okay, we'll talk about that. - Normally I don't care. We're gonna 16 team league that gets tougher. I'm just pointing it out. - We're not gonna go undefeated anyway. - That's true. - I would be on board with Willis in the next pick. - Willis is the next pick. I'm on board. - I'm cool with Willis. - Yeah, it's Willis or Shock. Whoever we wanna go with as far as upside, that's fine. But yeah, I think once he gets to the other side of the board, quarterback's gonna get annihilated coming back 'cause it is a 16 team. - No, 100% agree with it. And just to make sure we got, again, I understood one where you were saying what we could push quarterback. But then it's like, well, we could just get the two guys we want and then not have to sweat. 'Cause we're not seeing any quarterbacks go. - There's a team. - What is that? - The KCM has no quarterbacks right now, unless I'm reading that wrong. So they're probably banking on double tapping quarterbacks. - The case for me to not have gone quarterback there would have been if we really liked their running backer receiver. Since we did in, I'm super on board with double tapping. - Running back is kinda, running back is pretty gross right now. - Yeah, and wide receiver is like, we can just take upside shots on guys like super late. - Yeah, they're upside guys at receiver that I want to at least take a swing on. But yeah, it's like they're still running back. - Antonio Williams, they're still Ted Hirst, they're still Chris Bell out there. Those guys are gonna go super late. - And we still want to get another tight end. - All right, Willas, I do still want to get another tight end. But I'd rather take a quarterback here and then look at tight end next. - All right, so what are we doing quarterback then? - Mine is, I know Debrose is gonna use his veto, but I would put Kyler Marianne. But I know he's gonna veto it. - I like Kyler. I like Jordan Love, honestly. - I like Jordan Love. - I think that's not one of those guys. - There's also a match for homes available. Could just take him, I don't know. - I mean, dude, we could just take my homes. - I am also okay with Shuck. It does feel weird to take him over my homes. - Yeah, I think considering who's left on the board, we take a match of my homes. - All right, I'm on board. Do we have any stacking partners? We could take Baker, we got Godwin. - You can take Baker over patch of my homes. - I mean, I'm just talking for the stack. - I'm not a kid. - I'm not a kid. - We're not. - I don't remember your own stacks, honestly. I would go to my homes, or Love would be my two. - My homes. - Debrose, my homes. - My homes. - It feels like the right pick. - It is the right pick, yeah. I mean, I think Will is the right pick. - I mean, they do. - We've got to take him before us. - Yeah. - So round 10 and round 11 picks in a 16 team, or we go from my homes, it's pretty good. - Yeah, we've got like four homes with what do you do? - 165, that's right. - I mean, that's wild, man. That's wild value. - That's why later on quarterback dude, it's so back, so back. - So on the way back, do y'all want to go with like a Brenton strange at Titan? 'Cause we only have Dallas Goddard so far. - I want Terrence Ferguson. - Are you want Terrence Ferguson? - Yeah, I'll pop over that. - The thing is, like, I almost would wait, let's see what happens. I almost would wait another round at Titan because like, there still is on the board. Ferguson, Andrews, Chica-Cocco, Brenton Strange, the Rhonda Gadson, Terrence Ferguson. Like, I know we like some of those guys better than others. - Okay, but we have a lot of names, I still think. - Remember, we have Pook, we have Pook and Nikoah. If he goes down, Terrence Ferguson's going to see a major boost role. And we're going to be starting. - See like, that's true. - And to your point though, worm. Yeah, there's a lot of names left. I don't like any of them outside of like, strange names. - But I hate all of them. - Like, there's a lot of names, but. - Well, well, the same thing Erickson just said with Pooka, we have George Pickens. If he goes down, Jake Ferguson is going to look really good. - That is a valid point. - Rebellious made a case for Lionel for Roy. - He's in the 12th round of a 16 team league. I think that is a boring value. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah. - But what I was joking about was, you were making a case. - Florenoid might have a larger role this year regardless. - Yeah, that's exactly where it was. - That's fair. - Pookens are a lamb where to go down. So you guys are just aces with these robots. You guys do this full time job. - We should consider it. - It's a hobby, it's a hobby. So where are we, by the way, we haven't drafted a receiver since Chris Godwin in round five. - That's fine. We take a tie in and then we just go receivers to, - It was wild though, like, 'cause Dero was like pounded for Chris Godwin and like, dude, it seems like a reach and then we stopped the drafting while I had receivers all together. 'Cause I was like, our receiver was pretty good. So I'm like, well, I mean, we not bad. - Yeah, but we started with a zero RB team. So like our three of our, I mean, four of our first five picks were receivers. So we kind of like made the bad thing. - So by the way, in draft assistant, Jacobi Lane is available. So maybe that was Jalen Lane that went earlier in the unknown player spot. - Oh, maybe. - It must have been. - I don't know. - So someone fast finger the wrong J-Lane. So all right Erickson rule rule a thing here. Do we have to draft a defense? Yes, and the way you set this league up Ferguson. Yes, we have to have defense. That means we have defense tight end and receiver our next three picks in some order So here here's a question Do we want? Do we want to take a second tight end or do we want to not worry about that and then just take two receivers? I honestly kind of think with what y'all just pointed out the fact that we only have four receivers I kind of think we take we take two receivers in a defense, but I don't know I mean you could put a tight end at flex. I just feel like I like the tight ends better than the receivers I'm like are there receivers? I really like to even agree. I mean Jake Ferguson makes sense for what our roster is Even though he's not as fun as T Ferguson He does make sense because then we had George Pickens plays a good off. I also think Andrew's gonna get a lot of touchdowns this year Don't care. Yes, we know. It's well documented. Yes You were batten for a Breton strange D bro like he's available to I think I think strange definitely needs an injury to be impactful I think he does I think some of the other guys maybe could be impactful without an injury or we just take Charlie Collar Real tight end one on the chargers. I mean AJ Barner like Do we like any receiver? I mean, I put 10 hers Chris Bell and Antonio Williams in the queue I feel like this is where you take the upside you guys are gonna laugh at it I actually do think Rashad Baitman is a big value this year like I can't with all field stuff dude He's totally found he's on the field like I think Declan Doyle is gonna use him in much better way than he then Todd monkey Fair, I think even went on the field is gonna be way more productive this year But I totally get the off-field stuff. Yeah, a receiver. I vote for Paparine for what it's worth on the off-field stuff By the way the woman who accused some of all that recanted her story back in June like well before the TMZ story came out I'm not saying that we didn't happen. I'm just reporting that that she did recanted even before it became public. So you know, for whatever that's worth I think I would go tight end here. I would go tight end with this pick and then a receiver and then defense would be how I Yeah, there's a there's a team picking behind us that still doesn't have a tight end. So then Brenton Strange is my vote Okay, I would say Ferguson so Erickson why don't you break the tie unless Debra wants to veto Ferguson Ferguson Yeah, you want to go Ferguson? Yeah, just because we have pickings like it makes sense if you know he gets hurt I do like this like eight straight picks of receivers and running backs then four straight Doubling up at the onesies. That's kind of a fun way to go. I mean, that's what you do in a 16 team Yeah, you got a you got to sacrifice somewhere and I think you sacrifice a tight end and quarterback. Yeah, we go receiver next Debra since I push for Ferguson you can pick the receiver. Who do you like best that's available first? Oh, you like her best okay. I said hers. This is an upside I like her and Paparine could be my other receiver. So I've one of those two. I think it's her Paparine and Chris Bell would be the kind of the true I was gonna say Brian's as well I was looking at Antonio Williams. I was looking at her, you know, I would say Bryant and her start the two We should pick between because that was I think that we most I like her. I agree on this is all just upside because we also have Chris Godwin so if Godwin gets hurt again, you could see her's having we spanned a role when we can throw him in Exactly. Yeah, structurally speaking. Oh I got taken bummer Well, let's do. Okay, Paparine. Paparine's it. Yeah, I like Paparine Who's our backup is Brian? Who's the backup? Yeah, Antonio Williams. I again her shot baiten Fields. I don't hate jackass Jacobin Lane if you really think beans not going to be on the field Calma field. We all like to year ago. Brian's not there. I'm back to it. We yes. All right. Check Paparine. Got him Yes, don't agree. Yeah. Yes, got him. You know, I miss all right So what defense do we like all right? Let's see who's available Chargers Chargers Ravens. I do like to Ravens getting the Colts and week one With a bunch of banged up receivers and Jones coming back from the Achilles. I think Ravens is a good early season Who do the Vikings play in week one? I don't I haven't like memorize the week one Packers Packers. Oh Packers. Okay So I would go chart. I would go chargers Ravens Lions those three And whatever order they're available are left Who the Ravens getting first Colts with with all the receiver injuries and hair. I need to they have a bunch of other easy Games to start the year to they get the same thing like in a 16 team where it's probably not going to be as easy to to scream defenses Um, especially some of these teams might take two Uh, I'm looking at Ravens schedule. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah Ravens. I like the early season Ravens save time Ravens The Ravens might start might have a bit of a fine one. It's well, and then we got I think it's absolutely all in then if we get the Ravens defense. I mean Did we draft any other Ravens players just went? No, I don't know and Mark Andrews dude. We don't get any Patriots players This draft sucks We know Patriots are Ravens. I mean No, dude, we could get the Ravens defense. Don't don't never say never. Oh, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Yeah Who's the backup to the Ravens? We did get the same though We got we got to say Chargers Chargers to be the defense if we don't take the Ravens For me and then if they're gone. They're first to be awesome Because four teams. No, so three teams are going to draft a defense before we pick again because they have to So three defenses are going to be out to work. I'm guessing the Ravens will be one of them because they're They're in the top three highest ranked available So we should look a little lower Chargers and Ravens defenses are gone Lions are a low-key defense. I like because they have the easiest schedule in the NFL They're going to play in a lot of shootouts which means Passing game. They're going to face a lot of pass attempts. They're in Hutchinson's gonna. They do start They're gonna be fun then They're in Buffalo too. I like the cowboys as a big-time sleeper defense or the Bengals. I like that. That's a good one too I think Dallas and Cincinnati are going to have very improved defenses So I know they start with the Rams, but San Francisco gets Miami Arizona in weeks two and three I just don't I don't have any faith that the 49ers pass rush is gonna be any good That's like as easy of a weeks two and three as you can get though And we just kind of sacrifice if they survive if they survive australia Ravens went all right Ravens are gone. Yeah, that sucks So I mean we expected it Chargers There's too many teams that need one I agree with the charts. I don't think they'll be there are y'all with the cowboys So I like the Lions Cowboys adding to the queue The Packers get Minnesota and the Gets and Atlanta to start. Oh the Packers are Packers, you know, I don't have a person so like I just don't I don't think they're going to be any good. I know But I don't think they're going to be good They get to face two and Gino and defenses Kyler They're defense sucks that when they don't have their sense. That's the issue. What about the Bengals guys they get their luck near they the Texans Steelers Jack or say who they face again Buckeneers Texans Steelers Jaguars Dolphins Ravens. I don't like that. I also I also think the Bengals are gonna be terrible this year Like I like the defense. I mean like I'm not buying you No, I'm not I'm not gonna be Ravens Homerism coming through that is that is the Holmerism They've been a terrible defense for years. I don't I don't get to a Lawrence is alone to fix that. They ain't got better Terrific In the draft Oh my god, it's happening. I don't I don't think the Bengals defense is gonna be any good, but I could be wrong Dude the Chargers by fall to us. This may not matter. I was fixing to say the Chargers of the pick if they fall to us agreed Chargers definite pick if they're there they go right before us watch. It's gonna happen. I'm just preparing you. There is at least one Yeah, there's one team that still needs a defense in front of us Yep, this is up right now. It's gonna happen. And they took the chargers. No I told you okay, so what's your fault, Erickson? You talked about the charges too much. What are we doing? I vote Lions I vote lions more. Who do you vote for? The bills in week two is so tough with the lions. Yeah It's one week. It's one week. Okay. What's the risk of open the season more? I'm one of you. I think I'll ask out Niners. Oh no, we're going Lions. Bro the Saints bills jets Panthers Cardinals It's just a tough week to say no more baby This line. I don't know why we're trusting our defense to stay healthy and be any good. They do know the impolites and they're gonna get them back. Dude, the Lions deep. This is the opponents season goes on It's still got a hutch baby, dude. Thanks. We trust dude. Same week one dude Tyler. Show. I wish we had taken the Ravens defense in round 13 and then just taken like a like Bryant in round 14. I bet maybe would have gotten back to us. I think He would have needed to take defense. No bro. We do Jalen all Colby freaking young was getting draft Brad Brad, Brad Brad Travis Hunter got drafted. I don't know. Only four receivers went between those picks. You never know. Brad Brad would have gotten back to us. That's the available Cedeek still available. We have wires not as bare as I thought it would be. There's some names out here. There's some names. There's some names. There's some names. We're right. Rashad Bateman's there. So That's pretty good. Yeah, he's going to be there for a while. This is a pretty long episode, so we will take a very quick look just to see kind of what our projected standings look like, and everything we're not going to dive deep here, and then we'll get out of here. Maybe we'll take a look in some of that. Oh, 95. Wow, that's amazing. No! I love to see it. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. - Yeah, that was that. Okay, well, we got 95 out of 100. Second to only, second only to the user name that shall not be named at this time. - Tw. - Tw. - Tw. - Tw. - Tw. - Tw. - Tw. Tw. - Tw. But, yeah, expert opinions, a lot of 99s. People really like our draft, guys. And we're dominating wide receiver and flex. That's what you do in a 16-teamer. - Quarterback. - Yeah, that's because we weren't running back for a team. - I'm liking that it shows third and starters first in bench. So, like, kind of have a good lineup and depth here. - Yeah, let's see if the pick analysis agrees with it. The Godwin pick and then Roma Dunes, a debacle that we had to go through. - I don't see it here. They said we won Judkins instead of a Dunes, a not pro. - Well, this says we should have gone rice instead of HN and then Henderson instead of Godwin. - Mm-hmm. - As an number one spree effect. - In a 16-teamer, I'm not quite sure. - She writes. - Yeah, she writes. - No. - This is a tough one for him here. - I know, I disagree with you guys. - Yeah, I just can't. I mean, I get we got stackin' with patty, but I can't, I can't. - Well, we didn't even know we were gonna do the stack with patty. - Yeah, that's fair. - That's fair. - So the team whose name we can't say, they did take rice. - What's up? - CD-LAM, Drake, whatever she writes. They started receiver, receiver, receiver. Then Lamar Jackson, then they took Trayvian Henderson, RJ Harvey, JK Dobbins. So they didn't take her running back to around five, but then they took three in a row, including two Broncos guys. They got Kittle, so that's a pretty good team. - Oh, so they took our Broncos idea. They just went RJ and JK instead of JK and Jonah. - Yeah, and they took George Kittle, yeah. - Yeah, that's a pretty good team right there. All right, we'll go ahead and wrap things up there since we went along. Thanks everybody for checking this out. This was super fun. Hope everybody enjoys it. We will reference this league kind of throughout the season on tailgate, and you know, we're gonna kind of run it together. - Projected number, I mean, we're projected to be second place. - We'll finalize the punishment as well. We're definitely open to suggestions that people wanna throw out. - And eat some W's, boys, eat some W's. - Give us suggestions for a missed the playoffs punishment and for a last place punishment. That will only apply to us. We're not gonna make anybody else in the league. - The winner is going to get $150. Not American, there you go. - Hell yeah, I didn't even know that. - Maybe. - While waiting till the end, once the draft was done, once I saw that we were gonna probably win, then I know it's that there's been a lot of use here. - No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. - I probably wanna change it like, right, winner gets $25. - I would not have let us draft Chris Godwin if I had known if we could actually win money. No, I was kidding. - I would have still vetoed Mark Andrews for the playoffs. - Yes. - Well, for everybody's own drafts, the reminder that all of our 2026 consensus rankings and tiers can be found at fantasyproz.com/rankings. Summary:

FAQs

It's a 16-team league with one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, two flex spots, and no kickers. The league uses half PPR scoring and has special rules like a -4 point penalty for fumbles and bonus points for 300 passing yards or 100 receiving yards.

The league has a -4 point penalty for fumbles, bonus points for 300 passing yards or 100 receiving yards, and a rule that if a team misses the playoffs, they must participate in a special 'loser's' event like drinking an IPA or watching a tailgate show.

Running backs are prioritized because the league has a strong focus on volume and upside, and with only two starting spots, teams often sacrifice quarterback and tight end positions to build a strong running back unit, especially in deeper leagues.

The team is open to drafting a tight end, with options like George Kittle, Dallas Goddard, or Isaiah Wynn, but is willing to wait for a later pick or use a flex spot to avoid over-committing. They believe in a balanced approach, with a preference for consistent, high-upside players.

Yes, there are significant injury concerns: Alec Pierce has a calf injury and is limping, with worries about long-term complications from the imbalance. Josh Downs has a history of injuries and is seen as a high-risk player, leading to skepticism about his availability.

The Pro Bowl will no longer be played as a game, though it will still have designations. The discussion views it as a gimmick that has become a joke due to injury risks and lack of real competition, and suggests fans should instead vote for real all-pro awards.
