Fall in Love with Your Life Every Single Day & Tune Into the Life You Enjoy
33m 50s
The podcast episode addresses feelings of burnout and depression through a spiritual lens, using the example of a hardworking man who feels overwhelmed by his responsibilities and has lost his joy. It argues that such struggles often stem from forgetting one's true, joyful nature and becoming misaligned with a positive energetic frequency. Instead of requiring major life changes, the host suggests the solution lies in a conscious internal shift: "recalibrating" one's focus as one would tune a radio to a better station. By intentionally seeking and appreciating small, everyday miracles—like the taste of coffee or the sound of birds—one can begin to "fall in love with life" again. This practice reconnects individuals with their inherent spiritual alignment, moving them from states of lack and overwhelm toward joy, which is presented as our natural state when in tune with a higher source or consciousness.
Hello and welcome back to Spiritual Coffee. I hope this day is finding you so well and if not you're in the right place because this is where we come together for a few brief moments to recalibrate together and to heal a little bit in our mental emotional spiritual landscape. So I'm so happy that you're here with me. Of course we always grab our favorite hot beverage or ice if that works for you but on spiritual coffee we fill up both our spiritual cup and our physical coffee cup with our favorite drink and we chat over coffee or tea. So we come together to just spend these moments taking time for ourselves. This is like you time to come back to yourself recharges like you're plugging in, you're recharging and hopefully you're walking away feeling so much better after our little coffee chat. So cheers. What are you drinking today? Let's take a big sip of our coffee and let's fill up our cups together. Are you ready? And on this podcast we always do a collective sigh together just to kind of get in the right energetic space to receive the messages today that we need to receive to take away what we need to take away to be like a sponge and absorb what we need to most here today from spirit. So let's take a big deep breath in through our nose together, hold it for a couple minutes at the top of the breath and then a big sigh out through the mouth. Ready? Here we go. Breathe in. Sigh. Sigh it out. Sigh it out. Here we are. You can do more if you need more breaths. Technically we should do at least three but let's jump right in. You can keep breathing as you're listening. So let's talk tuning in to frequency that allows us to broadcast our best self. So I recently was chatting with a loved one who was concerned about her husband. Her husband is a remarkable man. He does so much for the family unit. He is hardworking. He is ambitious. He is reliable. He is responsible. He is a go-getter. And this man from the second he wakes up, the second he passes out at night is in constant service to others all day. And he stays busier than most people I know. And he has a ton of responsibilities on his shoulders. He owns his own business. There are a lot of moving pieces with it. He helps manage a property, a huge farm property for his mother because his father has passed away. He has three children all involved in different activities. And one of them is at a different school. And that same child is special needs with a double diagnosis. He's got a lot of friendships and community relationships and people who call upon him for things. Like I said. He is of service to others. And recently his wife was concerned about him because he came to her and he said something along the lines of, "I think I'm depressed. I think I'm really struggling with depression because I can't find any sort of happiness lately. And I am always grumpy. And I am just losing my temper a lot. And I just, I'm going to have to talk to someone or something. I just don't know what to do." And he wondered if it had to do with grief over losing his father several months ago. And she and I got to talking. And the first thing that kind of came to mind was he's forgotten. He's forgotten his true nature. And he's forgotten the beauty of life. And he's forgotten how to fall in love with his life every day. And that is perfectly okay. We all forget. The system is designed to make us forget. We get so caught up in the second we wake up in the morning. We get so caught up in all of our lists and responsibilities. And I got to make sure I accomplish this and I check this off and I do this and there's a deadline for this. And I got to meet this deadline and I have to be here for this person at this time. I have this appointment and I have this meeting. And it is just the hustle bustle of the current world is crazy. Everything is getting faster and faster and more demanding and we can squeeze more in and we can choke more productivity out of ourselves and we can do more and accomplish more and we can multitask more and oh my goodness it just is getting out of control with the more and more and more and more. Right? I bet you you can relate. So in a world like this and especially if anybody is paying attention to anything going on around the world which I don't listen to the news you probably know this if you've listened to the podcast here before. I get my news from source that's all the news I'll ever need. Stepping in a lining to source, the all knowing, all powerful, all the intelligence, all the consciousness that ever existed in all of creation. Those are the downloads I'm interested in. But if you're keeping track of what's going on in the world, all of this can get so overwhelming that you almost just want to just like cry or light out and make snow angels or just like check out for a while like the type of coping mechanisms that you probably want to do just to get through some of this stuff. There's a lot that we could want to turn to and want to do. And what I was thinking about is how can one in this situation, how can one fall back in love with their life again without necessarily having to change and overhaul everything. So like not having to quit his job, not having to have less responsibility. And there are some people that they try to look and prioritize, okay, what is most important for me to do? Kind of like you do with bills. If you've ever been low on money and your budget is stretched then and you're like, okay, what do I need to prioritize? Or what can kind of maybe wait or what can I just like pay less on or what do I have more time or grace with, you know, but even in life, you know, prioritizing going, okay, where can I pull back my energy? And for him through talking to them, I quickly realized it was one of those situations where there's not a lot of areas to pull back because every area was so in need. And it's kind of like when you're like, well, I need the electricity and I need the water. So I've got to pay those bills and I need to have food like and you can't find that many areas to pull back. You've already pulled back. So he was in this predicament of, I can't just overhaul my entire life right now. So I started thinking when we're faced with this situation of extreme, burnout, just like, dude, I cannot do this anymore another day ever again. Like I'm so beyond tapped out. Like I just, I'm numb now. I'm disassociating. I'm just, I could barely get through. Let alone have experiences of immense joy. Like that just seems kind of unrealistic in those scenarios to certain people. But when we think, when we take a view of this as everything is energy, which we've discussed before and frequency and everything is vibrating. One of the hermetic principles is everything is always vibrating, moving in motion. Nothing is stagnant or stay still. If you look under a microscope and you look deeper, everything has an energetic frequency and is vibrating. So if we think of our bodies and our lives and ourselves as energy and we think of, okay, we tune ourselves into different frequencies like you would tune into radio stations. So perhaps he's tuned into a radio station where he just does not like that music anymore. He is over it is doing nothing for him. Perhaps he needs to tune to a different station that plays music that is more in alignment with in-living and enriching his experience, enriching his experience so that he can remember how to love music again. So how do we recalibrate, as one might say? When we're in this state of just overwhelm and we're too busy and we're too overextended, and well, there's a lot of practical tips, I'm sure, that a lot of people could share and those are all very helpful indeed. But taking a bird's eye view, kind of pulling out and going above all those practical lifestyle tips and looking at us as spiritual beings, energetic spiritual beings. Is it possible that once we tune into a new station, now we're going to hear different things, experience different things, find more joy, find a newfound energy, rejuvenate, and start seeing the world even differently? Do we think that something like energy or frequency or music has the ability to change the way we see the world, change the way we show up in it, change what we think about our lives and ourselves and where are places in the world and how we want to show up each day? So maybe the issue is a tuning issue, and maybe as he clicks through trying to find a better station for himself, maybe he will start to see things he didn't see before that were right in front of him, unlock his particular activating system to notice more of the beauty and the miracle of life all around him that he's been overlooking in his stagnation and to activate his remembering that there's so much to fall in love with each day of your life that you can wake up every day and fall in love over and over and over again. You can fall in love with your life, you can fall in love with sounds, colors, sights, bells, people, places, things, music, art, creativity. So how can we recalibrate so that we remember that falling in love with life every day is available to us? We have to just adjust what we're tuning into. And there could be the most gorgeous music playing on the most perfect radio station and you will never hear it if you're not tuned into it, right? If you're on a different frequency, if you're on a different station, you will never hear that music. So it is up to us to decide what identity we're living from, what energetic blueprint we're putting out there, what we are creating, what we are making manifest in our world, what are we experiencing? And if it's something we don't want, how can we go back and just switch the dial? How can we turn that dial? Because we have to find all the little glimmers in life to help us remember that every part of our existence is pretty much a miracle at all times. Just the fact that you're alive and here and breathing is a miracle. We forget that. We overlook that. We take it for granted. When you really tune in to your day, do you hear the birds chirping outside your window differently? Does your coffee brewing smell different? Is this out of your child's laughter in live in you instead of frustrate you? Like, oh, they're not getting ready. They're messing around. Come on, why aren't your shoes on yet? So what if you could tune into the radio station of, I'm brand new to life? What if you could be like, you know what? I'm going to approach everything like I'm brand new to life. Like I've never tasted a piece of pizza before. So that first bite is going to be just like an inexperience or I've never heard a bird sing before or I've never seen the sunrise before or felt the breeze on my skin or heard laughter or drink a sip of coffee or heard a certain song. This requires us to wake up in the morning with a completely blank slate because what a lot of us tend to do is when we wake up in the morning, we start remembering. Everything that starts our day is a remembrance of past experiences. And then once we start tuning our consciousness into that remembrance and we start bringing that into today and now we're living out our memories instead of a new day. Who? Have you had that happen? We've all done that. You wake up and you're like, oh, yeah, yesterday this happened in the meeting today at work. We're going to talk about this. You already made today living out the past. Now we're going to live in the past today. Because we're bringing that memory into it. So when we wake up and we focus on possibility, when we focus on a new page, a new blank slate, new experiences, new eyes to see everything through. When we focus on all that I have is right now, the present moment, how can I make this moment the best ever by remembering what a miracle all of life and all of every experience actually is. I'm letting go of the heavy metal or whatever, whenever station you're on that's angry. I'm letting go of that because I want to tune in to just peaceful, easy feeling. I want some eagles in my life. I want to tune in to, wait a minute, this day is not decided for me yet. There's an infinite field of possibility. And yes, I do have responsibilities and I'm not saying be blind to those and forget those and not think of those and not think about what you have to do. But if your first few moments are dwelling on past memories and you're just living out a whole another day, the same as yesterday and the day before and the day before because all your focus and attention is going in to constantly tuning you into that same radio station, things won't change. If for a few minutes, when you woke up, you could think this is a brand new slate. Like the whole day could go entirely differently if I choose. And the field of possibility, the field of all the different options of what can happen and what can go on today and all the different radio stations I could tune into today. They're all in front of me. I get to decide. I get to decide. So can I decide what little things I want to choose to pour all my focus into you that are little pockets of happiness? You could have like a long hard day, but if you're focusing in on a few more little pockets of happiness and a little more and a little more each day, okay. Today I found three things that were like bliss for one second, but then it went right back to craziness. The next day, oh, today there were six things, six moments of bliss. There are six moments of bliss. I'm moving forward with this. I'm gently switching that dial over. How can you try to look for all the little things that excite you? What can you get excited about? What where can your attention and focus go? What can you notice that you haven't been noticing? What can you unlearn and unremember and what can you remember? Like what do you need to let go of so that you can remember the divine being that you are having this divine, incredible, amazing gift of a human experience with all of its contrast and colors and ups and downs and all the good and all the bad and all the, I mean, this is the, this is the right of a lifetime. This is an exciting journey. We get to have this human experience. We get to live. We get to feel. We get to feel sorrow. Feel grief. Feel joy. How would we know joy if we didn't know sorrow? How would we know happiness if we didn't know pain? We get to fully just dive into life and just feel and experience it all. And this is the adventure of a lifetime. And we don't want everything going perfectly right all the time. How, there would be no meaning in that. The feeling of a liveness. I'm alive here and now my consciousness is creating this life moment by moment ahead of the actual physical experience. What can I create? What can I focus on? What can I tune into? What's bringing me joy? What's bringing me happiness? What's bringing me excitement and fulfillment? What can I focus on that is just so much more exciting than a to do list? I'm still going to get my to do list done. But gosh, I'm going to do it my way tuned into my frequency listening to my music. It's like if you have to clean your house and you don't want to clean it, but you're listening to the best music ever as you're cleaning it, you're going to get it done. But you're going to get it done and joy. You can approach that two different ways. You could say, I've got a whole house to clean. I hate my life. I'm dreading this. This sucks. And the whole time be angry and complaining and just hating your life or you could put on some awesome music, light a candle. Be sipping up your favorite coffee while you're cleaning, dancing while you're doing it. And you can make that experience ten times more joyful. It's the same experience, but you're tuned into different frequencies. Are you not? You're showing up differently. We're not meant to do. We're not human doings. We are human beings. We are meant to be who we decide and choose we want to be. How do we want to show up? I'm pretty sure joy was meant to be a huge part of this. Because why does joy feel so good? Why does joy feel so good? That must mean we're more in alignment with our true self, our true soul, our true being, our true, our highest self. Spirit, source, all of consciousness, all that ever was, all of infinite knowledge and wisdom, the field, the universe, God, however you want to decide what you want to call it. Joy feels good for a reason. Perhaps we're meant to feel more of it. Perhaps we have this emotional guidance system to guide us. We want less of that and more of this. We want to choose more of this and less of that. We want to tune into more of this. We want to tune out of that. These emotions are here to guide us through this human experience so that we can move towards what is fully in alignment with our soul and our highest power and God, and source and the creator and the light. And if you're feeling horrible, you're disconnected. And that's okay. We all get disconnected. We all go offline, right? But let's tune back into God. Let's tune back into source. Let's tune back into spirit. The most beautiful sounds and music and colors and light and everything is found there in our alignment. Let's tune back in because we were meant to experience a joyful, abundant, rich, prosperous, human experience. Yes, it. Yes, we need the contrast. But we're not meant to stay there. If we're miserable, if we're depressed, if we're sad, if we're lonely, if we're hurting, we are turned away from source. And all we have to do, turn the dial, turn the dial. As you move towards better feeling of emotions, you move closer to source. Because why do we feel so amazing when we hear our favorite music? Because we're more aligned with our inner higher power than ever before in that moment. Why does love feel so good? Because we're in alignment with the creator. So how do you know when you're in alignment with source, with the highest power, with all of consciousness? Because you feel blissful. Why do we even want love? It's not the other person that's making us feel so much love and so much joy. The other person is activating the love that is already carried within us. And we are remembering it. And we're like, "Oh, that's it. That's where it is. That's what it feels like. That's why I really am. That's my real identity. That's the truth. It's already all the love and joy and everything is already inside of us. We're just activating it through all of our experiences as a human, through our relationships with others. Right? So if you find yourself depressed and just like burnout and done, I want you to remember your true nature is love, authenticity, joy, bliss. That's your true nature because when you're aligned with source, you feel those complete whole feelings. So if you're on the lower end of that spectrum, depression is not the opposite of happiness. It's on the same spectrum. They're all feelings, emotional states. They're not opposites. They're just different ends of the same spectrum. Just tune the dial, turn the dial, move towards the better end of the spectrum, more of what you want. Turn out of the things that are just creating more and more and more lack. Tune in to the miracles, the bliss, the joy, the beauty, the breath, the taking qualities around you, the people you love, the experiences you love, fall in love with your cup of coffee, fall in love with the sunrise, fall in love with the bird chirping, fall in love with your vitamins, fall in love with the people at your work, fall in love with the music on your commute, fall in love with the way your car drives, fall in love with your car drives, fall in love with the clothing you're wearing, fall in love with the way you smell and your candle and your perfume and your jewelry and your fall in love with your life, every aspect, every moment, every moment there's something to fall in love with. You just have to tune to it, you have to find it, you have to open your eyes and your heart to it and like there it is, boom, all along it's been there. Every single day that sun has risen for you. And how many of those days have you been like, wow, wow? Every day there's been love there available for you. How many days have you tapped in, tuned into it and been like, wow? What can you tune into? What is your frequency tuned to? Adjust the dial and it doesn't have to be big. We're not talking, you have to leap in head first, I always say. Do what feels safe, do what feels sustainable. We're not talking about just go and just overhaul your whole life and run naked through the streets and be like, I'm free, I love life. Right? That's not the advice here. Although I mean, you do you, boo, but there are miracles all around us. How can we tune in? Because your day just got infinitely better if you can just tune in moment by moment and then now moment to just little things that just bring you nothing but joy. There's going to be plenty of time to go back to that grumpy annoying, just mundane meeting. Make life a game, make it fun. My husband and I, when we get annoyed, I'm going to share this. We might get annoyed with certain people in certain situations and we turn it into a game. And I think this has been like one of the best things we've done in a while. This may not be very spiritually in line, but let me tell you. So sometimes there's behaviors of people around you that you don't really feel in alignment with, you're not on board with. And you're just like that behavior kind of annoys me, right? I'm just, this is not my person. This is not my, we just don't vibe, right? My husband and I have turned this into a game now. Like we make jokes of how many times are they going to say this or do this or, you know, that person flirts with that person, we take a shot, like we don't really take a shot of a drink, but we just pretend like what if we took a shot every time that person flirty with this person or every time this person didn't know something that we already wrote in the group chat and they just didn't read it or. And if you can make a game out of life, oh boy, can you make everything a little more lighthearted, right? You could just be silly. Like, let's see who's going to win this bet today. Like I bet that's going to happen 20 times and I bet that's going to happen to just make life more fun. And I'm not saying judge people and be rude. I don't want to come from this place of like we're being mean about people, but we're lining the load of, we're making it not so serious. Other actions what they're doing are not so serious. It's not that big of a deal. Life is not so serious. We're meant to frolic and play and be in joy and have whimsy. Or else why would those even, if we're not meant to experience those and we're supposed to live a serious, productive, hardworking life with none of that, then why does it exist? Why do those feelings and emotions and situations, why do they exist? If we're not meant to tune in. So go out there today, live in whimsy. Be careful, be safe, but live in whimsy. I'm telling you, change the freaking station, change it. And live the life you want that brings you happiness that brings you joy that lifts you out of your funk. And you know what? The rest will be there for you. It'll all get done. It'll all get sorted. But try to enjoy it. All right, I'm so sorry. I've already kept you longer than normal today. But I think we needed this. I think we needed this, right? I'm sending so much whimsy and love and light and excitement to you. Let's go find our glimmers, not our triggers. Tune out of the triggers, tune into the glimmers. Let's do it. Thank you for joining me and I'll see you in the next episode. Take care now. Bye-bye. [BLANK_AUDIO]
