288: Fake or Nah?! Ft. Lisa Gilroy

The podcast investigates whether real or fabricated online stories—particularly from Reddit—can be identified through detailed analysis. It examines multiple narratives, including a husband’s use of AI to express jealousy over his wife’s weight, a man joining a women’s book club due to discomfort with dark romance, and a user’s consistent posting history that suggests performance art. The team uses evidence such as screenshots, age and gender shifts, and AI-generated visuals to assess authenticity. They find that while some stories appear real due to tangible details like a shared dog or actual text, others are clearly fabricated or exaggerated, often to gain attention or test audience reactions. The discussion highlights the dangers of unhealthy insecurities, especially in relationships, and emphasizes the importance of mutual respect, shared responsibilities, and emotional honesty. The hosts conclude that while some online content may be fictional, the underlying themes—like trust, communication, and self-worth—offer valuable lessons. The episode blends humor, deep analysis, and personal insight, showing how digital personas can both mask and reveal human emotions. Ultimately, it advocates for real connection over digital performance, urging listeners to approach online stories with both skepticism and compassion.

I wear a hat on your podcast because I feel a little bit like I'm trying to act like Leonardo Capri right now, but my power was out. So I couldn't straighten or do anything to the top of my head. Oh, where was out? Yeah Everything in my fridge is going rotten rotten Is that how you say that word? Yeah rotten. It's our ODDEN. It's like what happens to milk if it's out of the fridge How do you pronounce are you? I am ruin? Do you struggle with that one as well ruin? I'm a victim of the word ruin. Oh, you say ruin RO and but wait because I would say it two different ways for two different types like I might be like you ruined my day But I'd be like look at these ancient rooms Do you see do you know like historical flavor? I'm like the total wrong person asked us because I'd be like, yeah, that's correct You heard ruin both times. Yeah Would you ever try ruin ruin ruin ruin ruin? I'm not gonna get that beautiful role. I don't know where it'd be a beautiful name for baby girl. I Have been like looking at baby names like some of them are insane. Have you been on the r/tragedy subreddit? No Tragedy it's like literally the name is pronounced tragedy, but it's pronounced like tragedy day like DEI GH at the end. Oh, it's like basically people turning normal names into the most horrific weird spelling or worst names They've ever heard of do you watch me read it for sight? No, because one of the mothers of the bride And I posted this to my Instagram story because I could just not stop thinking about it It's like and it's just casual wedding day They're like the mom they're red getting ready in the bridal suite and they show the mom and you know They put the little chiron underneath to say everyone's names like blank mother of the bride Yep, and it's like over at the groom's and it's like Beverly Mother of the groom and then it goes over to the bride side and the mom's like are you almost ready? And it goes to the mom It's like violent mother of the bride her name is violent Mm-hmm some people try to hard on baby names so close to the word violet, but someone just it's not good Maybe they spelled it wrong extra letter in there. Yeah, maybe they probably just spelled no No, no, I thought on the show maybe typo, but then it kept occurring Yeah, no, I think someone messed up her birth certificate and parents just rolled with it. Oh, trying to be trendy Trying to be on it. I'm so excited for you. I'm so cozy As you should be comfort is key. I don't know why people try like and just do anything but being comfortable on a Sleep here, we could yeah, I have taken a nap here. I don't believe me. Yeah, I've never been I planked put the two chairs together and planked One of the shows I first saw you on though was jury duty Where it's this whole concept of this person Ronald going in and he's the only one that doesn't know his whole experience on jury Duty is a bit. It's a lie. It's a lie Yeah, and you come in and you're this like social media entrepreneur influencer And you were just so good. I don't know how you also went back for season two like how are people not recognized? I want glasses in season two. That's all it takes honey. Okay, superman. Yeah, take it easy over there Thank you, but it's so good and it's this whole concept of fake or not Fake or not fake or not like are you kidding me like is that real that that's too crazy? It can't be real. It's got to be fake and that's something we come across a week after week with these reddit stories of like That's fake. It's on reddit. Yeah, or is it is it real? Yeah, right? We my producer Bailey and I have gone through these posts Some of these people have over 400 posts on reddit and we've gone through them to gather the evidence And help you did investigative journalism help you decide are they fake or not? They're real This is so exciting suddenly. This is also like a crime-solving It is. It's like a detective show all in one because I never thought you could do of course You can look into someone's history and be like are you consistently asking these same type of questions? Uh-huh, but it's on a changing right right right right do they go from like 20-year-old female to all of a sudden their 50-year-old male Are they doing that? We're gonna find out but woman who's never heard of telling a lie on the internet before Well, you can do that. Yeah, I thought you get electrocuted if you type something false into the keys That should be a thing. Can you imagine if like there was a keyboard for trolls and it shocked you every time you were mean I think there should be like a thing That's like if you type like a curse word or something mean it immediately like screenshots your face and it adds it to the comment Okay, let's get into these stories. Yay. Let's dive in [Music] Okay, up first verse here. You have a new show out. Goldnacks. Yes. Yeah. You're the voice of a like a superhero I'm a voice of a like an Amazon warrior who has like thick legs. Tyrus. Tyrus. That's Tyrus Flair. That's right So this first one this you'll see why we picked this for you So it's coming from am I overreacting titled am I overreacting to my boyfriend needing a heroic theme playing every time we argue Me and my boyfriend both 25 have a good relationship for the last year. He's really funny, smart and kind We rarely get in a fight, but when we do he requested that we play the Spider-Man theme song from the 2000s movies So he feels compelled to do the right thing To be fair, he does become somewhat more mature during these arguments and does a good job handling them But he refuses to talk about anything pressing without the theme music in the background It was okay at first But now it pisses me off and distracts me sometimes from the point that I'm trying to make I told him he needs to grow up and try to do it himself without the music But he says he can't or he will say things out of emotion and he just needs to calm down It feels so childish. Am I overreacting? I'm obsessed with this Do you think this is real? I think this is a hundred percent real. You do? Yes. Are you shocked by that? Tell me why? Because I have so much to say about this. I was so excited because I think like There's so much there's so much to Discover in this lifetime in relationships. Don't you think? Absolutely. I mean people learning something every day are they are most valuable teachers And we can learn all sorts of tips and tricks in in order to like Connect with each other and so this is what makes me think this is real because I saw online This woman was saying her and her husband when they get enough fight or you know like you you're with someone and you're like Are you mad at me? And they're like no, I'm fine. I'm gonna get something wrong. No. Literally. It's real good. Oh That's hell on earth, right? Oh, I feel those eggs shells underfoot. It happens all the time So then they were like if we ever find ourselves somebody's acting like that the other person goes Okay, well if you're really okay, then make a silly face on a silly noise And then the other person has to go like And then if they can do that That proves they're actually fine and now both people are laughing. But if they simply cannot muster There's a conversation to be had so I actually love things like this in relationships that like can diffuse The tension in a super harmless way. Yeah, I think it's beautiful But I do think he could afford to throw on some headphones if he needs the music and she really doesn't like it because that's also a part of the compromise But I think it is like if you can't fight or some people say fight naked You never heard that. I love these little tips and tricks because it like adds to that if you don't get like nightmare I'm still remembered to not like take it too seriously. You're still talking to someone that you love I need everyone to immediately in the comments give me fight hacks and just like post a quick picture of you fighting naked with your spouse If you want Do it do really prove that you did it. Oh my gosh. It's funny that you mentioned Putting on headphones though because one of the top comments is that is hilarious get the guy one ear bud Yes, you can play the song in his ear while listening to you in the other Because if it's distracting for you, I get it. Yeah, you can't force both people to be spider heads Yeah, but at the same time like I feel like for her it's probably just annoying because she's like you're not taking me seriously Right But also I don't know like maybe there's a compromise for hey the more serious fights We really got a like lock in I want to feel heard yeah, and if it's like oh you didn't take the trash out. Yes Exactly man can be played. That's the perfect level of fight or like you know when you could feel yourself ramping up to an argument where you're like, wait, this is getting out of control for what the actual issue is. That's perfect time for the music. - Spider-Man. - Yeah. Yeah, a lot of people actually love this. They think it's a hack. They say I'm neurodivergent and struggle with transitions and a musical cue that we are in discussion mode and also that we are trying to do the right thing and work together sounds like a great idea. I could absolutely use the Bohemia theme for this in my life. It hits me in the fields every time. I have not heard that song. - It's really interesting that it's like intense music. I guess that makes it feel like cinematic. And also in a way, do you go to therapy? You're like, I'm therapist. - Not yet, I need to be. - Okay, because therapists always talk about how our thoughts about our lives and everything are like stories. You know, that's a story that you're telling yourself. 'Cause it's true, like we don't really know what the objective truth is. So everybody just like has a story about what's going on. Like maybe my story is like, oh, that girl's mad at me or she hates me and she's never liked me. It's like, I don't actually know that. So that's just a story, I'm telling myself. So it's like, maybe the music helps both people be like, this is a story. It's a movie because it's not true. It's just like our interpretation of what the fight is. It's a script. - I think it's just a help in set the scene too. Imagine a movie without scoring. - Horrible. - Can't imagine. Horrible. Someone does, you know, have the question here though. How do you argue with someone so much that playing a theme song during arguments becomes an issue? - Ooh. - Like you're fighting now, but about the fights. - That's the question. - It's a little unsettling, speaking of Leo DiCaprio. - So here's our evidence for it being fake, okay? - It's fake. - We do not know. - You can't. - You're doing like ladies and gentlemen of the jury. - You can't conclusively say. Yeah, I should have gotten you a gavel. What the hell was I doing? - Okay, but can I ask you for a favor? - Sure. - When you present it, can you kind of pretend like I'm the judge and you're gonna be like the defense attorney and the plaintiff's attorney as well? - Okay. - Your honor. The user isn't incredibly active. I'm also gonna be the other attorney. So if I ever say like, objection your honor, that's like if you're gonna say something I disagree with, I might, you know. - Okay, so I'll be the judge and also the other attorney. - Okay, okay. - User is incredibly active and their age, gender, and their marital status change every time they post. - Objection your honor, relevance. - In this post, they're 25 with a boyfriend. In another post, they're a 22 year old man dating a 21 year old woman. And in another, they're a 27 year old man with a 28 year old wife. Post history, caught 'em. - 'Cause at first I was gonna be like, maybe sometimes she's posting as if she is her boyfriend to try to get that side of it. Well, on the other hand, some of their posts do appear to be real, like asking for help landing a role as a junior engineer. So just trying to get job advice, not, you know, on a big subreddit, potentially karma farming. - Is that what people do? - Sometimes I'm embarrassed by how little I know about this. - But you can't, so like if you post on Reddit and you post something really good and it blows up, people will upvote it. And then that all, every time you post, every time you get upvotes, on your account, you have a karma counter. So the more karma you get, the cooler you look. - Do you know Morgan, I posted on Reddit once and I got banned? That's all that's ever happened to me. - What did you post? - I still don't understand why this happened to me. I posted on, it was like 10 years ago. - What did you post? - And I like joined Reddit and it was on like, R/Funny 'cause I was like, oh, I don't wanna be, I wanted to like just post, and I think I posted a picture of a dog in a stroller wearing sunglasses that I saw on the street. (laughing) And I got banned. My ass got banned for that. (laughing) Did you, they were like, oh, sorry, memory, where this is R/Funny. It's not R/Funny's stupid. Can I say fuck, sorry. (laughing) - Wait, what? - Yeah, and I just like never understood. - That was such a good contribution. - Thank you for saying that. - I was that moderator, I never would have banned you. - Why do you think I got banned? - I'm wondering if that subreddit had specific rules where you needed to like, they all have their own rules and it's like, for your first post to prove your real ad dinosaur in the body of the post and you just didn't read the rules, so immediate ban. - Oh, there's tricky things on Reddit, you know? - It's like a Goblin's Riddle house. Like, you have to cross the bridge into Reddit by doing all of the special riddles. - Yeah. - And I didn't do it. - No. - And now I, oh, Rumble still's getting my baby. - Yeah, I will say though, there is something to be said, as you mentioned about changing age to maybe be from the boy friend's point of view. Like, there's some people who will, like, I know personally, friends and family that have posted on Reddit and have changed ages and like, small details, to not be identified. - Yeah. - So, you know, that's not necessarily an end, I'll be all to say, fake. - I agree. - So, where do you fall on this one? - I do think that this person is probably an engineer though, 'cause can you imagine trying to lie about that and for what reason? It's not really a joke, and then you have to also make up stuff about engineering. - No. - Ask me the hardest engineering question you can think of. And I don't know anything, but I'll try to make it sound like I do. - I don't know, how do you code an RSS feed? - So, the RSS feed is really complicated because it has all sorts of different signals. Obviously, that if you code it incorrectly, it will trigger something else incorrect, but you can definitely use any language of your choosing depending on what's compatible. So, C plus, plus, or. - You must have been hired on the spot for any job interview you ever did. - But what, I don't even know what you said. Do you think I don't know what RSS is? - I don't even know what RSS is. And I'm like, only texting code an SS. - And RSS feed, it's what podcasts are hosted on. That's the only like techie thing I know. - Did anything I say seem right? Sound off in the comments and post a nude. (laughing) - Okay, if you want to talk Nudes, I will. - And I do, baby. - I will show you some Nudes. - Oh, come on. - Oh, come on. - But this guy. - Perfect. - This next story, this has sent me. - Wait, sorry Morgan. - Is there really any evidence for it being real the last one? - That was just it. - A lot of different changing things and we never could get to the bottom of it. - That's all we got. - Can we ever send a message to this person and go, are you real? - Yeah. - Did people do that? - I send the messages all the time. - You do? - Yeah. - Did they respond to you? - Yeah, like there was one story where this kid, like his parents went by and I'm a birthday cake so I was like, can I buy you a cake? Like I just message people all the time. - And did he get back to you? - Like three months later and I was like, I'll still buy you the cake. - And? - And then he never responded again. - Did you say like, but I'm a famous woman with a famous podcast? - No, I just send a message. - One house he's supposed to know you're real. - You don't put dinosaur in the comments. - God. - It's so crazy. - God, okay, okay. - So much advice from you. - What do you want to say to him? What do you feel would be proof that this person is real if they responded back besides with a nude? - I guess you're right. There's no, it's like that riddle. Once it's always lies. And once it's always tells the truth, how are you gonna, do you know what I'm talking about? - No, but it feels like I've gone through that before. - Yeah, with people, friends. - Exactly. - You just like, what could you possibly do? Who's actually on it here, yeah? - Okay, so you're right, there's nothing we can do. - Okay, go on, next one. I'm excited, I'm excited. - Okay, this next one, please, please buckle up wherever you are. So this is coming from a few places. This was originally posted on our slash am I overreacting? And then they came and posted it on our own subreddit to hot takes. We have our own sub now. - Okay. - Yeah, this is already sending up my alarm bills. - Okay, posting in multiple places. - And also posting here to be like, isn't this so crazy? I hope you guys don't put it on the podcast. - So it's titled, am I overreacting during my book club this weekend? One of the husbands asked me to stop coming because of what we read. I said no. Also username is best pirate, 5073. - Nice. - I'm a part of a neighborhood book club that's been meeting for about a year. It's mostly women in their late 20s to early 40s. And I'm the only guy. We rotate houses every week. And honestly, it's been one of the better ways I've met people since moving here. The club recently got into dark romance. It wasn't my suggestion, but everyone voted on it. And that's just where the group ended up. We spend most of the meetings talking about character development, plot, whether the MMC is actually redeemable, et cetera. No big deal, right? I'm friendly with everyone, but I don't hang out with any of them outside a book club. I know a few of their husbands from saying hello if they're around before or after meetings, but that's about it. After our meeting a few days ago, I was loading a folding chair in my car when one of the husbands came outside and asked if he could talk to me. He told me he would appreciate it if I stopped coming to book club. I asked, why? And he said his wife has become, quote, way too excited about book club. Ever since they started reading dark romance, and that it was weird, having the only guy there discussing those books with a group of married women. I laughed at first because I genuinely thought he was just joking, 'cause sometimes guys can be funny like that, but it turns out-- Sometimes guys can be funny like that. He wasn't joking, LOL. He said he wasn't accusing me of doing anything inappropriate, but that the whole situation made him uncomfortable and that it would, quote, "solve a lot of problems" if I just found a different hobby. I told him I wasn't there to flirt with anyone. I'm there because I like reading. Everyone in the group voted on the books and I enjoy the discussions. I also said if he has concerns about his wife's interests in fictional, morally questionable men, that's probably something that they should talk about together. He got annoyed and said I was intentionally missing the point. I eventually just told him, quote, I'm not quitting a book club because you're insecure about fiction. men. If it's that big of a deal, just join. Now I'm wondering if I should have handled it differently. I don't want to create tension in the neighborhood, but I also don't think it's reasonable to ask me to leave a group I've been a part of for a year because he's uncomfortable. Am I overreacting? I love this. This is so juicy. T. And like, is the other has been upset about a fictional character? Is he upset about a real, real life man? I would say that, the latter. Yeah. To me, I read this and I'm like, I could see it happening. When we start digging, it gets a little dicey. If you were going to give advice though, assuming that this person is real, what would your advice be to them? I mean, it feels real to me. I'm so divided on it. I have two hot takes wrestling in my mind together. And it's like, on one hand, I'm like, yeah, of course, he should be able to join a book club. It's his neighborhood. He's trying to connect with people he loves to read. We can't stop anyone from this wonderful. This is communities. I love it. And on the other hand, I'm like, if I was the only man in a female space, I would already kind of be like, question mark, question mark, is this okay? I would already be like, do the girls want to just hang? I would be a little aware of that. Okay. It does seem like it started as just a general book club. And then it's kind of turned into now we're getting into maybe the dark romance. We're crossing into smut territory. Things like that. Yeah, that's true. But you know, I love friends and the or then the perfect maybe third take of the hot and cold meeting, which means it's perfectly room temperature is that other husband should just join a group. That would be the most that would be the best, most lovely ending of all. And maybe he'd learn a thing or two from those books. Yeah. And wouldn't that be so cute to have a husband and wife reading a horny smut book together in a book club? I have like, I think that's so tender. I'm going to be honest. I don't think I could talk about my thoughts. Honestly, if my husband was in my book club, like, have you read fourth-wing a guitar? Have you ever like found out some of a guitar? Okay. Which completely rotted my brain. By the way, I say rotten, I say rotten like regular stuff. You do say that. I was just joking before about saying rotten. I thought that was like kind of funny, but I don't want anyone to sound off in the comments and go, she doesn't know the difference between teas and teas. And I don't mean tits and dicks. But yes, I've read some of the actor and I didn't, I couldn't keep a breast of it, no pun intended, because it was like the sex part was like ruining my rat brain dopamine. And then I couldn't follow the plot anymore because then my rat brain was just like, we'll do more of the sex stuff. I couldn't relax. The graphic audio version does help keep things in line, I will say. Oh, and then your hands are also free. Graphic? What? There's graphic audio versions. What do you mean graphic audio versions? I'll play you some on Spotify after. Are you saying graphic as in like, you see something? Or it's just descriptive, because I'm thinking graphic novel. Okay. Audio. Do you hear moaning? No. Yeah. They add scoring. If there's a dragon in the book, you'll hear a little dragon roar. It really sucks, yeah. Oh my god. I feel like you're there. Wow. I didn't really did that. The book that they were reading in this book club is haunting Adeline. If anyone out there has read it, it's a dark romance psychological thriller about a stalker. Pretty dark is what we're hearing. But a lot of people do respond. No one gets red flags initially. Not overacting. That man is a loser. It's a damn book. What book is it, by the way? And that's when we find that out. Not overacting. The guy is weirdly jealous over a book and he would have a hernia. If he read my Amazon library, but it's funny because it doesn't really feel like he's jealous of the book. It feels like he's jealous of the man getting to hear his wife's thoughts about the book. Like you were saying how you'd have a hard time being honest in front of your husband. It's like this man's getting a peek behind the curtain in the way that your husband wouldn't ever. Yeah. But I wonder what she's saying in the group, but he doesn't know any of that. I don't know. No, he just says my wife is very excited about book club. So it really has nothing to do with the guy or I mean, honestly, that to me reads like she's so excited to catch up and hang with a bunch of women, her age. Like maybe this is the first friend group. She's had in a while. Right. Like husband sounds a little bit nutty. Maybe she doesn't get to go out and have a lot of friends. Yeah. So we do get an update. Okay. OP comes back and shares this with us. So a couple of weeks ago, I posted about the husband who pulled me aside after book club and asked me to stop coming because his wife was way too excited. Well, he finally decided to join Nice. Completely unannounced. Our last meeting was at my place, which makes it more weird that he would choose to join now. Everyone shows up normal. We're about 10 minutes in, and then there's a knock at my door. And to our surprise, it's him dressed as a big tall Mrs. Delphire. Hello, ladies. He walks in holding a six pack of beer like this is just a casual hang with the boys. And he says, figured he'd see what all the hype is about. His wife looked like she wanted the floor to open up. I think the crazy part is she had absolutely no idea that he was going to show up. We finished discussing the book that we were already on. He sat there mostly quiet, but every time someone brought up the main male character being possessive or morally gray, he'd glance over at me like he was taking mental notes. Yeah, trust me, it was hella weird, crying laughing emoji. Then it came time to pick the next book. Normally, we would just throw out options and vote. This time, he pulls out his phone and goes, I actually have one. The Bible. He suggests captive in the dark. That sounds funny. Okay. A couple of women left nervously. One said she was down. His wife didn't say much. I stayed neutral and just said I was fine with whatever the group chose it won. After everyone left that day, the group chat started lighting up three separate private messages within an hour, basically saying the same thing that it felt pointed and asking if we should say something or just let him embarrass himself. I haven't replied to any of them yet because I genuinely don't know the move here. Part of me feels like I should stay quiet. I'm letting him control the vibe. Another part of me feels like calling it out makes me look like the exact problem he originally accused me of being. Also, the book he picked is actually really well written and the plot is wild. So now I'm stuck reading it while wondering if every spicy scene is somehow aimed at me in his head. I don't want to create more tension in the neighborhood, but I also don't feel like quietly disappearing from a group I've been a part of for a year just because he's decided to insert himself. Am I overreacting for feeling like this is about to blow up? Did you do any digging on what that book is? No, I didn't look at what it is captive in the dark. It sounds horny as hell. It is a 2011 Dark Romance novel about a kidnapped woman and her captor seeking revenge. Listen, what's he on about now? Why is he doing this? I'm wondering if the character is like if it was almost like a sub-tweet where it's like I see you. Yeah, but what is he seeing? What is so perverted and horny about a man who goes to a book club? So let's get into a little bit about our poster here. Oh my god. This is like the scary part of the podcast. This is like being on Maureen being like let's look at the paternity test. You are the father. So the user name is best pirate 5073, but that can be your username on Reddit and then you can pick a display name. So the user's actual display name that they chose is Big Black Darius. Giving Oral. Just giving Oral. Okay. Their account is 18 plus. They have in their bio six seven Dallas, Texas traveling massage therapist. Okay, this is wow. Okay, this has changed a lot of things for me. Okay. So are you saying six seven as in a height? Six seven six seven. It's a joke where it's a height. There's very few people. Very few people six seven. So I have this tool because if you go look at best pirate, Big Black Darius's account, it is very hard to see all of their posts because there are so many. So I have a tool that lets me look at all their posts across various subreddits. A magnifying glass. Basically, this person has posted at least 300 if not 400 times on Reddit across various subreddits. Wow. Various Darius. Posting in entitled people posting in malicious compliance are slash Dallas. I will say very consistently lives in Texas moved to Dallas, started a book club works at a gym massage therapist. The gym, the massage therapist, the six seven, it's all starting to kind of fill out the world of the husband being like, "Get out of the book club, man. The girls, the girls kind of don't want you in the book club, man." Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot, a lot, a lot here. It is interesting because there are some posts that are very, I mean, you see Dick. His dick? Oh my god. Don't send me the link. Seriously, Margaret don't. You see, but you have my number if you need, like, if I have to look at it for part of the research for the story. There's a, there's a, there's a lot of shots. So any people, shocking people, shocking. Oh, there's other people. They're not, it's not him being like, "Here's all the stuff I'm working with." No, it is. It is. Do you want to see? You're kind of curious. Okay. I am kind of curious. Show it, turn, turn to me. I don't know if I should. Show me. handle it. There's no, like, just a shot of it. It's all, like, it's being acted upon. Yeah. So it's okay then no, because no, no, if it's even, it does look, I will say, everything looks, everything looks consensual. Okay, okay. I mean, I would say like, because I think the accusation here is like, is this person fake or are they karma farming? And like, my thought, because at this point, they have a hundred and fifty seven thousand karma points on Reddit. Can I ask you a really naive question? Yeah. Does it? And you guys just relax. I spent most of my time on Neopets, okay? That's a great place to be. Um, does this translate to money at all for people? No, so what, so why would you later leave karma for me? It's just for like, attention. It's the same reason you would munch house you by proxy your daughter. Correct. Okay. In a, in a, yeah, I think in like a, you could maybe connect that in a realm, sure, so you can buy awards from Reddit, but the awards, it doesn't do anything. Like we connected with, uh, direct caterpillar. He's one of our new besties, big poster on Reddit. He's got over a million. And he's like, I think it translates to like six cents or six dollars, something astronomically low for how much karma he has. My thing is though, I think the karma could get your posts boosted higher on the main Reddit page. So every time you post them, if you need like advice, you're going to get a lot of people. Yes. And if this is someone who is trying to actively then sell an only fans page and all of the posts are leading back to his account. Maybe, maybe it's good traffic, but this person is very active on the two hot takes subreddit. Very, very active. There's at least 20 posts on two hot takes. Wow. So they could be out there listening right now and could be like, Hey, no, I actually am real. Here's a picture of my face. They actually use a picture of his face. Wow. Let's see that. Okay. Let me find that has been posting in our slash boy dinner diaries. This is a new sub where you like share a picture of your meal. It's like turkey bowl rice. It is. No, it's like protein. Yes. Like steak and broccoli. It is very boy dinner. Boys need dog food so bad. Someone make dog food for men. They will buy it in by the kilo. So this is a post that Est pirate has posted. This is on their account. So didn't go to a subreddit. It is titled dropped to your knees and worship me until you have every fucking vein memorized. And it's a selfie of him. Okay. Very jacked. I'm going to say, I don't think I'd want him and my wife's book club either. You know what I mean? Very fit guy. I mean, it's kind of crazy. I know that it's like we shouldn't be judging people on how they look, but I would be like with all those muscles, you must have a different reason for being in the book club. Do you know what I mean? Like it just suddenly like is like, especially if it's like a book club with literally all women, all women. It is. It is. That's how judgments happen. I know, but like I'm like good for him for having his interests and hobbies and all of these things. So I'm going to read some titles that are from our writer here, best pirate, and other things. So this is coming from our slash slutty confessions. Okay. It's titled our book club discussion turned into me six, seven completely cooking her five, five boyfriend friend. Here we go. Another post coming in our slash off my chest. Coming. Coming from my mind's in the gutter clearly. This is titled, I left a note in a used book's margin and someone wrote back a week later. Now I can't stop thinking about it. And he details this story about going to a used book shop and opening this book and in the margins, seeing notes from someone like responding to the book being like, why would she stay with him? This is horrible treatment, blah, blah. He apparently leaves a note in a random page that says, you deserve better than this. And you're right. Put the book back on the shelf. Comes back a week later. Happens to be in the same row grabs the book opens it. And there's a new note in response to his. I came back looking for this exact copy. Thank you for writing that. I left him two days ago. That was it. No name, no date. Just those three lines. I put the book back and walked out. I've thought about it every day since. What are the comments to that thing? Are people just so earnestly like, hey, that's actually beautiful. Wow. I think because no one's really connecting the dots of like how much the user's passing about this man, I would say this whole thing is a lie. Then there's another post, our slash romance books looking for a book to properly teach a married slut how to obey and be a good girl. Our slash confession. I create audio erotica and erotic novels as a hobby. And my highest viewer is my married neighbor. Okay. This is so funny because the original story that you read, I was going to say this sounds like a plot of something. It's like cinematic in the way that even how the husband joins and he happens to join on the last day of that book. And then he happens to be the one that gets to pick the next book. It's all very like how a movie is. We're just like a convenient timing for everyone involved. That. So given this extensive post history. Yeah. I think he's like writing or she is writing. Yeah, exactly. Is writing a lot of like literatica and is like trying to just kind of, I mean, it's like performance art. It's being like, is this a believable you know, story? I know. You know, what I haven't done is I haven't Google image search. This healthy. So now I'm like, let's give it a go. Let me see a detective at work. If there's anything that pops up, like if it actually does lead to someone's user profile. No, there's no exact matches. So does that mean it's real? Because otherwise, where did you get it? Where did you get that? It's it's AI generated. I'm not sure. I'm like, I'm looking, obviously, it starts to like then find people. Can we look at it one more time and then maybe we can see an AI clue? Do you know how to tell? I mean, some things. But do you post these for your listeners? Oh, yeah, they'll see. They see. Like, do you see any clues? Like, I'm going to look at this water bottle. Get in there. Get in there. Yeah, it's AI. You think it's AI? 100%. I'm going to tell you for two reasons. The first, this is my, this is, I'm the Benoit Blanc of AI images. Okay, I think, look at the logo on the water bottle. It looks like it's two words, but they're like smushed together to become that nonsensical language. And then second thing is that the quality of the picture appears to be on film, but you're taking it with an iPhone. Do you don't think that was like the teza app where you add the grain effect? I mean, it could be, but I don't know. I guess I just don't really see that type of man adding that type of filter. Okay. He's a robotic reader. He could be artsy. I guess you're right. You're right. I could be a filter. But I'm devil's advocate and because, you know, that's fake or not. Yeah. This is where we're at. Okay, judge, where do you fall on this one? Fake as hell, but I think it's performance art. Okay. My hunch and I think it's decent writing. I actually do think the writing is great because also it could have gone to Binky Bonky world and it didn't. It didn't. Like, if you're posting on two hot takes all the time, you could be like, Oh, what do I do? My, you know, you, you stuck in my asshole. And that's the thing. I think if you were like, I mean, one, 300 to 400 posts is an insane commitment. I do think this is leading to back to their business, whether it's, whether it's writing a book and trying to sell the erotic graphic novels, whatever, which I think is a huge thing. There's a lot of accusations now about Reddit posts being like hidden advertising where it's like, Oh, God, they're kind of mentioning that car way too much in the post. I bet that's an ad for the car. Like, there's now this question of like, are these posts or are they ads? And so is this person advertising the book? I literally, my thought was like, who wrote haunting Adeline? Is it the author trying to come in and sell their book? I mean, the post on Reddit can go viral. Lisa, you're totally right about this being AI generated by the way. Really? I think so. Look at the camera on the iPhone. Do you see the lenses? They're all screwed up. There's like one that's like all wonky. I think it's fully. Yeah. And we're all like ignoring the fact that his body is like superhuman from the gods. Yeah, I guess men have bodies like that all the time, like beyond fit. But I mean, I know it is possible. Works at a gym. Look at us. I mean, there was another post in his history that was like, the manager of the gym told me my shorts were inappropriate because my big dick is too huge. It's slopping around on the ground while I try to lift weights. And one girl tripped over my dick and she thought it was a big skip rope. And she was doing CrossFit in the class. And so she tried to pick it up to do that thing or you make it around. Hashtag. Am I the asshole? So you're stamping it. It's fake. But I do love it. And you know what, it's like, I have done things like this before where I'm trying to write something. Like, honestly, the idea that if, for example, this person is writing a book and then they're like, this is the situation. What would you do in case they're missing anything? Like, you know when you watch a movie and you're like, oh my god, that would never happen. You would just go to this person and say this and then this would all be over. It's kind of a way to like poke holes in your own story to be like, what is everyone seeing with this dynamic? Is there something I'm missing? If you're writing fiction? No, I definitely, I definitely think it's fans. And that's where I landed as well. I said, this is someone who is doing a creative exercise and writing and building their ability to write, because what great feedback? If your writing is so good, people buy into it. Yes. Like, I do think this is someone who 100% should be an author if they're not all ready and using this as a means of selling their books. And by the way, who wrote Haunted Hunting, Adeline? You know, we looked her up, we did not find that it was her. I'll show you a picture of the author. 'Cause now how do I know that it's not you and you're not, this whole thing isn't but an ad for your book? I will say, I think this is the author, HD Carlton. I'm gonna confirm with another picture. Very young looking author, only 29. Someone you would see potentially on Reddit. I could, I know, work in the red lip and the winged eyeliner. I wish I could do that as well. That's her, it's beautiful. It would be anyone on the internet. You can be anyone. Yeah, but I agree, definitely, definitely giving fake. Yeah. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Okay, real talk. To do lists are unhinged and the stuff that actually gets done always the stuff you had help with. Flatpack furniture, meal prep, things that are just better with another person. Now, State Farm can't help with the sofa or Sunday cooking, but when it comes to helping find the right coverage for you, they're on it. You can talk to one of their 19,000 local agents in person over the phone through their easily accessible app or at statefarm.com. Whatever works for you, like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Okay, friends, trigger warning on this next one. It does contain discussions of EDs and calorie counting and things like that. So if you can't handle that today, please skip ahead. Thank you. This next one, we've got some thorough research. Okay, so I can't wait to present it to you. Buckle up. I'm scared. This is coming from our very ontuhotic subreddit. It is coming from user Roger Rabbit. It is titled Need Advice. A Claude Chat was left open on our TV where my husband told Claude he's worried I'll never lose weight. Oh Lord. To clarify, my 29 female husband, 34 male, often plugs his laptop into our TV. Yesterday, we were playing ping pong outside and I went inside to grab some water. While I was waiting for my bottle to fill, I glanced at the screen he had up on our TV. There was a closed Claude Chat titled, quote, "navigating fitness concerns in a long-term relationship." When I went back outside, he could tell something was wrong. I was honest and told him I had seen the title of the chat. He tried to explain that he was just worried that I don't have the same motivations he does when it comes to fitness. I told him I feel like he's convinced I'll never lose weight strictly because I hate going to the gym. I have had an ED in the past and going to the gym was a big part of why I developed it. I walk for an hour every morning. I live in Arizona. It's way too out to walk during the day or after work right now. I also exercise at home instead of going to the gym. I quickly changed the subject and focused on our ping pong game because I could feel myself getting emotional and I didn't want to get into it right then. This probably makes me an asshole, but today I decided to look at his laptop and see exactly what he had said in the chat with Claude. It was really hurtful to read. He said things like, quote, "I've always fantasized about having a thin wife and I'm worried she has given up along with other things along those lines. Thankfully, Claude kind of put him in his place and told him he needed to focus on himself. But still, the fact that this is apparently what he thinks when he looks at me feels awful. Now I'm questioning whether he actually means it when he's telling me I'm beautiful, which he does often. The thing is, we started a fitness plan together two weeks ago and so far I've actually stuck to it more consistently than he has. I spend an hour at the dog park every morning with our dog doing laps around the park. He's joined me a handful of mornings, but he often skips. To be fair, when he skips, he usually works on projects around the house. So it's not like he's just sitting around and doing nothing. But still. Also, I hate to even bring this up because I don't want this to turn into a comparison of our bodies, but while I'm kind of chunky, I'm about 60 pounds lighter than he is. When I lost weight for our wedding years ago, I was on a heavily restricted calorie diet. Obviously, that was extremely unhealthy. And once I started eating normally again, I gained weight quickly, but he also gained weight over the years. My biggest issue with fitness is honestly just time and energy. I have a stressful job and a very busy schedule. I spend most evenings training and tiring out our 10-month-old Australian cattle dog, which usually means spending another 30 to 45 minutes in the backyard kicking a ball around with him. Until recently, I was also doing probably 95% of our household chores. By the end of the night, I might have one hour to actually relax before bed. And I haven't wanted to spend that hour working out. Apparently, to my husband, that means I've given up. I don't know. I'm just really hurt. That's poor lady. To literally find out your husband has turned to AI. To be like, I'm unattracted to my wife. She's given up. What do I do? Like, he clearly knows how wrong it is because he's not talking to real people. He's talking to a fake ass robot. Like, you know it's wrong. Yes. You had to rat away in your little squirrel cave and talk to your fake little squirrel rat friend. Mm-hmm. Damn. I know. Well, listen, can I Benoit Blanc for a second here? How about it? Do you know who that is? It's the detective from Knives Out. I love him, Daniel Craig, yes. Okay. Listen, they live in Arizona, correct? Now I'm going to do this like, now I'm cross-examining you, okay? Okay. Morgan, actually, you're going to be OP. OP, you stated earlier, you live in Arizona, is that correct? Correct. And you walk for about how long every day? At least an hour. Right. What time do these walks normally take place? Well, it's really hot in Arizona. So before work, because I also have a full-time job. So, you know, 7, 8 a.m. Right. Because if you were to walk in the afternoon, for example, it might be too hot. Dangerously? Dangerously hot. Okay. So, now, I don't know about you, OP, but if I was going to enjoy a game of ping-pong with my significant other, I guess I probably wouldn't want to do it at 7 in the morning. Is that around the time you normally play ping-pong? No. This was an evening on a weekend. On evening on a weekend, I didn't think about that. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So, then it was cool enough to do that. Yeah. And, you know, we do have a pergola outside of our house with a fan on it. So, we did have a nice gentle breeze of notching your honor, the ping-pong throw. Pergola is too fancy of a word, your honor. The witness is trying to distract. Bailey, you're the judge now. You can say overruled or you can say sustained. Overruled. Okay. I'm losing. I'm losing this court case. My kids are going to kill me. Literally, my kids are in private school. I'm not going to be able to afford anything for them after this. This case is not going my way. What advice would you give her? If you believe this is 100% real, what advice would you give this person? This is your friend. This is your friend. This is your friend coming you, being like, I found out my husband, Johnny, said this about me. To clad. Well, wait. Are we giving advice or are we discerning if this is true or false? Let's give advice first. Okay. What would you tell her? No two outtakes. This could be a listener hearing her story right now. So some people are wanting, are wanting real advice. Some people literally find out I read their story. It's like it's too painful for me to even consider this to be a true story. It's like I had an easier time thinking that the horny porn book club thing that was going to turn into like group sex for this one man was real. And now this I really want to believe is fake. Do you want to get into the validity of this story first? Yeah. Because please, I just like really want to, I need some comfort. I want to believe it's not true. So unfortunately, I would say this has a lot of evidence for real screenshots of the cloud conversation, screenshots of the dog. And that's an adorable dog and it looks to be about ten months old suspicions confirmed. Definitely a cattle dog with a big ball. OPs very active. The account is nine years old. So not a new Reddit account coming on Reddit just to post this story and blow it. Put up pictures of dog pictures of, you know, vinyl action type figures and figures that she's trying to trade online. Okay. So it is giving very real people that get like worried that they post their dog. And then someone's like, Hey, I know that dog. And then therefore I know this woman. I mean, I don't know. I'm sure a lot of people do fear being found out. I think that's why there's information that gets changed. But that dog is cute as hell. So if I knew that dog in my social circle, I would never forget that. Oh, I'd immediately be like, that's Barney. Yeah, exactly. I know him. That's my ex boyfriend. That's literally Sarah posting that. Oh, my God. I should reach out to Sarah and help her get a divorce. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. This is really hard because it's like, Oh, I don't know. Can you go first with advice? Yeah. I mean, I don't know, because this is something I do struggle with, it's like I feel like, and I think a lot of people do of just like, feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin. I think that's a tough battle. And so knowing that my partner, who's supposed to love me the most, who sees me naked, who's intimate with me, is going to Clyde. - What? - Even more so, and like saying these things, I would have a really hard time coming back from that, and being naked and being vulnerable with him again. - Totally. - I don't know if I'd ever be able to get the trust back. And like she said, like, he calls me beautiful all the time. I don't know if I can believe it. - Right, right, right, right. - And it's like, I look at her life, and I'm like, you're the one taking the dog. You create this fitness plan, was this fitness plan, a little, we'll do it together, sweetie, but it really wasn't a will do together. It's, he made it, so you would get on board. - Right. - And that feels manipulative. And then you're doing 95% of your household chores. Meanwhile, you both work. - Yeah. - Where's the like upside in this relationship? To where you're like, I have like about an hour every night to relax, and I don't want to spend it working out. Where's the gay in this? - Totally. - I don't know. I would say like if you really love him and want to move forward, then couples counseling for sure, but at the same time, you're 29. And you gotta, you've-- - It starts fresh, honey. - Like this, you could chalk this up as like, hey, you had some years to burn. - Yes. - Now have some fun. - I think that's, that's a good idea. - Give him the D, the worst. - You don't have kids yet, or any-- - No mention of kids. - Then start from scratch. - Mm-hmm. - Yeah, like what would you say to your sister if she was coming to you with this? - Oh yeah, oh my God, I'd be like, you gotta get out of there. That's crazy. - You'd be like, I'll go get the U-Haul. Let me help you pop. - Let me help you pop. - The only like, I guess B of the D benefit of it out is like, he didn't bring it up to her for a reason because he, I guess, was trying, we all have like nasty thoughts about the people that we love. It's not good to have them, but-- - Okay. - But like, at least he didn't, he hasn't been like saying it to her. It's like, he felt like he was trying to get right in his own mind without hurting her feelings, which at least feels like half of a good thing, but I still agree with you. I think she should go get another boyfriend. - It is sad that like, he couldn't just like, process this in his own brain of like, angel on one side, devil on the other, like, oh, I was just, you know, 'cause attraction, people argue this all the time, like attraction is just what it is. Like, if he's not attracted to her, you can't help it. - I know, and then being like, I only wanted a skinny wife. My little dream is a little boy, I'm just the skinniest wife you could ever imagine. - Do you, like, do you hear yourself? - They're a wife that could fit in a toaster. - And like, a lot is the one being like the-- - Thoughts like, you need a relaxing thing. - You sound horrible. You're being an asshole. Focus on yourself actually. - Like, I wonder if Cloud was like, well, how much do you weigh? How much do you work out? - Literally. - Like, what is, I want to, I want to see the Cloud transcript. - Clouds like, I'm literally sucking the oceans dry and contributing to the water wars, and you are worst kind of guy than me. - Like, you had to use AI for this? - Yeah. - Loser. - Loser. - Loser behavior. - Loser loner, whatever. Get the picture, duh. - This is only a day old at this point in time. - Oh. - It's very fresh. - So it's not too late to intervene. - It is not, we could change a life. - And, wait, she posted this on your subreddit. - Yeah. - So she's gonna hear this. - Hopefully. - Likely a listener. - Oh my god. Okay, wait, I want to have another try at the advice. 'Cause that's like, now it feels a little bit, also two cows to just be like, get another boyfriend. It's like, I also understand that. There's like, sunken cost fallacy of like, we've been together for this long. - Marry. - Marry. - Marry, this is a heavy. - This is a very intense thing. - Wow. - So I feel like couples counseling is your first order of business, and if that's not working, try throwing some spider-on music in the mix. - Great second attempt. - And also, make sure you get to keep the dog if anything does. - Oh yeah, of course. - Devolved. - And two divorce. - I mean, sounds like she's walking the dogs. - Oh really, really cute dog. - You can do that thing where you walk in separate directions and see who the dog follows. And I guarantee it's gonna be Miss Mama girl. - Uh-huh. - That, I wonder, would you do best of three just in case? - I'm just like, I would literally bathe myself in a meat stick than I before. - Yeah, oh yeah. I just make sure. - Top comment, personally. I'd leave his bitch ass. He doesn't respect you. - Yep. - I approved the comment. - Good job, what up, bra? - Is there anybody saying anything else or is every comment just like leave him? - Pretty much. Like they kind of break down. You're sticking to your shared exercise plan more than he is. You're doing almost all of the household chores. You're the only one training your dog. And he has his own weight problems. He needs to focus less on your weight and more on pulling his own weight around the house. Maybe if chores were 50/50, you'd feel more inclined to work out at home. Above all that, you don't have any obligation to change your body for him. - Amen. - OP does respond. That's what I tell him whenever he brings up his frustrations with our healthy eating and exercising plans, the 50/50 chores things. I tell him that if I wasn't so busy, I'd love to work out more. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that I'm up every day at 5 a.m. for the dog park. - What? - I work until 5.30 p.m. I spend an hour or more cooking and cleaning, then spend an hour in the backyard with the dog. That brings me to 7.30 p.m. which is basically bedtime. Once I'm home from work, I don't sit down and take a breath for at least two hours. - Wow. She's amazing. - I think since it's not traditional weights and machine-based, he doesn't consider what I'm doing exercise. Thankfully, fall is approaching, so I'll be able to walk after work with our dog without getting sunburned and sweating to death. I do the backyard play right now instead of walking since it's too off her dog on the pavement. - Okay, I think this is also an alternate path. I think option number one is to leave him. I think that's probably the best one. Option number two is to get counseling. That's also a decent option. And here's the wild card option number three. I'm gonna throw in the mix. - Oh. - She goes, okay. She starts, okay, remember when Jasmine gets kidnapped by Jafar and she starts to wear the red outfit because he puts her in a red outfit and she's like, oh, sometimes you have to be like, you're like, oh, Jafar, I love you. I actually love wearing this red outfit 'cause you're trying to like, you know, trick him. - A little fawning. - Fawning. - So she's gonna go, babe, actually, you just kind of blew my mind like you're so right and you to get more fit. Like you're the smartest man I've literally ever met. I'm gonna take your advice to heart and every day after work, for two hours, I'm gonna go to the gym. And then she starts going to the gym for two hours or whatever the hell she wants to do after work. - For two hours. - For two hours. - For two hours. - And get massage. - For massage. - And imagine every other thing. - What a movie. - Absolutely bloody stumps. Then he's home alone being like, who washed the dog, make the dinner? Like, dude, you know, he's suddenly being like, oh my God, there's so much to do at home when this woman's at the gym. Like, how the fuck were we managing before? So he starts drowning in the household duties. She's not at home. And if she is going to the gym, she's slowly and slowly and slowly getting more and more ripped and ripped and ripped. And then on the eve of his 40th birthday or whatever sort of is like a magical time, she's going to await a certain compliment. He's, when he, when he utters the phrase, I finally have my skinny wife. The magic is going to encapsulate that a dark cloud will come and swirl around them. And then she's going to turn and go, no, someone else finally has a skinny wife. And she's going to walk out the door and go marry someone else. - Oh! - Oh! - Talk about some erotic fan fiction. - I'm on board for this. - 'Cause you know when people get, sometimes people get really fit before they're going to leave their spouse. - I mean, there wasn't really a poetic just. - There was a show. This feels like a fever dream. There was like a show called revenge-bod, really, where people would like start working out to get back at their boyfriend or ex or whoever. - Oh, so it was like a makeover transformation, like, out of spite, which, hey, that's your motivator. Sometimes it works. - Wow. - And then probably at the end, there's like a really cheesy heavily produced thing where they're like, Amanda is about to run into Justin at this bar that he's always at. And then she walks in and she's like, big mistake, huge. - Huge. - Like Julia Roberts, pretty woman style. - Yeah, I would watch that. - I would. I think this is, don't waste that much time, because, you know. - But wouldn't you like to see him have to do all the chores for a while while she's at the gym? - Oh, he needs to start doing some chores. I'm like, I'm actually kind of mystified that you've had this conversation about how chores should be 50-50. And he just is like basically like, nah, we're good. - And you still keep doing it. - Okay, we know before we talked about how we were saying TikTok is marketing things to us, have you heard of this card game with all the chores on it? It's called fair play or something? - Yes. - I feel like they do that. - I've done it before. - You have? - Yeah. My brother and his wife are like big believers in this little card game. - Yeah. - So you played it? - With your spouse? - No. - I just kind of like looked at it with my brother and his wife. - You didn't want to bring it home 'cause you were like well being trouble. - Honestly, I would be. He does, I think he does more than me. I vacuum the fuck out of that place. Like I love a vacuum. But he does like most of the cooking. Laundry's pretty split, but like right now he's at home taking care of the ponies. - It's, you will get there. - Okay. - Yeah. - It's funny because I feel like the people who buy the card game and bring it home are the ones who know they're doing more work. 'Cause I also would never purchase it and bring it into the family home. - Yeah. - No, I would never allow that to cross the threshold. - I'm like, we just gotta. - Why open Pandora's box? We don't need to know who's doing what. - No, I literally, I had Odds go on recently. - I love her. - Just obsessed with her. And she was telling a story where she's like. - And Ryan is amazing. - Yeah, I haven't met him. - She can't be playing this game either. - No, she's like after seven years I realized I've never done Laundry. And I go seven years. - Yeah. - I love that for you. - Amazing. - But yeah, no, it should be, it should be a little more fair. I hope you're out there, OP, sending you so much love. - I love you. - I think you're gonna have an amazing, amazing glow up. "You're so young, life is ahead of you." Yeah. There is like a line here, kind of at the end, that I somehow missed, but it basically says, I know I invaded his privacy by reading the conversation. I'm not trying to pretend that was okay, but now that I know what he said, I can't I know it. I don't know how I'm supposed to hear him tell me, I'm beautiful without wondering whether he actually means it. Sorry for the long read. I genuinely don't know what to do from here. I'm worried he's using the times I had eating struggles as a comparison for how hard I'm trying. Do I tell him I read the chat and talk about it? Do I leave it alone? Or do I use this as motivation for the world's most spiteful glow up? Yes, yes, yes, that one. But I think just like be you, be happy and healthy, and like, if you wanna work out a little more, then do it. But like find a partner who's gonna carry some of the household weight with you. Yes. Just how can you, like how can you do anything? If it's all on you, you would have less shit to do if you got a divorce. Like having you heard the thing where people are like, oh, I married and me and my husband have a baby and I'm like a single parent, even though I married. And it's like once you get divorced, you have less shit. Yeah. That's gonna be you. Yeah, 'cause then your partner actually has to like take custody sometimes and they actually have to do their part. Yeah. I'd stop, I'd also stop doing things. Even if like you wanna make this work, I'd stop doing his laundry. Oh yeah. Like literally find a way to like force him to do shit. Yeah. I'm so pissed for her. And then still leave him. Oh, that's so good. Wanna give it a go? Very good. I feel like it could be workshopped a bit, but we'll get there. It's hard doing it on the spot if you've never practiced. Do you practice that a lot? No, Bailey, you wanna try? On evil left. Yeah. Give it a go. I'm scared. It's very, it's very like, I know it's scary though. I mean, that's how I felt at the beginning of this when I did the big clown honk, you know what I mean? It's like that's what this is about. It's about just like women being vulnerable to each other, you know what I mean? Yeah. Okay, you need to be the next Maleficent. Thank you. Oh, that was good. You ready to pop in? Yeah. Pressures on man, fake or not, theme. And now it's your turn to be the judge. Okay, let's do it. Lauren is popping in. It is now time for FML brought to you by Chrysler. When it comes to the newly designed Chrysler Pacifica, FML means something a little different. F, free to lounge in the back. M, my phone's fully juiced. And L, Loki, I love this. That's the FML you say in response to features like seating up to eight extra cargo space and the fam cam. Now to the redditors who are saying FML for less fun reasons. This next one is coming from our slash TIFU. It's titled "Today I messed up by improving myself after a breakup. About eight years ago, just before I went to university, my girlfriend at the time broke up with me. Reasons included, but not limited to. My appearance, distance at different universities, blah, blah, blah, but very importantly, and I quote, you've got the most annoying voice on the face of the planet. OK. Being my first girlfriend, I was heartbroken in a good way. I decided to improve myself at university, the whole glow-up procedure. I was going to a different university from all of my other friends anyways, might as well start new. I started working out, eating healthy, doing more skincare, even ended up getting a six pack. I started looking up how to dress better, out with the baggy shirts that hide my moobs, in with the fitted jeans and colored shirts. I got contacts, started learning how to style my hair. Took self-improvement classes, got some therapy, started being happier with myself, started calling myself with my middle name instead, and very, very important. I started practicing an Australian accent. Stupid me thought, hey, let's try and learn the sexiest accent out there. By no means do I look Australian? Heck, I'm third generation Chinese Canadian, but I got good. I studied it religiously, hours of practice. It got to the point, even Australian natives couldn't tell the difference. Problem was, I couldn't turn it off. Meh, it's okay, it's a good accent. So now I look completely different, sound different, and even go by a different name. Top it off with me moving to another province for work. Now, here is where we start the F up. Fast forward to about-- Let me start. Fast forward to about one month ago when I started a new job. Boss is doing the rounds introducing me to the team. He then introduces me to my cubicle mate/work buddy for orientation. It's my ex. And I start sweating bullets. This girl is triggering a massive flight response. I'm terrified of her. I'm ready to quit right there and then. And she doesn't recognize me. At all. I obviously can't ignore her, so I try to play it chill. She starts asking me some generic get-to-know-you questions. Where are you from? I love your accent. Where did you go to school? Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I panic and I lie a lot. I grew up in Brisbane. Nope, Chem loops. Did my MBA at U of T, UBC. Oh yeah, totally Miss Australia. I went there once during a layover. And it keeps going. Can't be that bad, right? Just one person that thinks I'm someone else. And then we have a team icebreaker. Introduce what you know about your buddy to the rest of the team. Of course, my ex then introduces me with what I just told her. And now the entire team thinks I'm their resident Australian. And I'm now living a complete lie. On the plus side, the ex asked me out for dinner. Oh. I don't know if that's the plus side here. Is there a plus side? Oh my gosh. How do you not recognize a person at all? That's what I'm thinking. I'm like their teeth, like their eyes smell. I don't know. There's got to be like something that smells. I don't know. Get in there. Get a whiff of the pheromone. Oh yeah. I don't know. Just like, or just like the energy. I just, I just don't feel like I could, I mean, never know. But I would be very shocked if I ever dated somebody that I couldn't recognize later. No. I'm just blown away. Also the commitment. You learn this Australian accent. But like, what does your family think when you go home for the holidays? Like everyone in your life is just like, are you okay? He almost like Austin butlered himself, where Austin butler had the Elvis accent forever after being Elvis, which very method. That would be me. If I learned an Australian accent, I would never be able to stop. It would be me now. Like a new personality. Yeah. I wouldn't be like, I don't know. I just one love the accent too. I just feel like that's my, the way my brain works. I'm just kind of like, if I get fixated on something, I'm like, yeah, you're hooked. Yeah. The comments on this one, they kind of from the get go kind of are like, are you serious? Because they go, seems like a comedy movie to me. If it's true, I'm sorry for the mess you have right now. But thing is, I can't get it to sound serious in my head. OP responds, if it wasn't happening to me, I wouldn't believe it either. And then someone does say on the plus side, the ex asked me out for dinner, that is not a plus side. And that has 8k votes. I think it is a plus side. Are you kidding? Like the whole, OP went through trauma because of this person and now he's like, look at me now. Look at me now. How do you come out with this though? Like your whole team thinks you went to Australia, your whole team thinks you're from Australia. You went to a different university. All your boss has to do is be like, well, resume says this. What? I know. No, I know that's really bad in it. If it was just like a stop by, say hi to the classroom, not go to dinner with the ex and then get out of there, there's, there's a little bit more wiggle room, but this, this is, this is bad. This is bad. This is super bad. And really embarrassing. Like, really embarrassing. Oh, the, the social pariah you're going to become when this comes out, that your accents fake, because the girl is going to be like, he probably found me. And he's like, pretending to be the slowest person. That's scary. That's terrifying. That's terrifying. That's terrifying. That's terrifying. And he's like, trying to get back at me. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. No, that's terrifying. Like, she's going to be like, this guy's, he's off his rocker. I just need to know how he gets discovered. If he gets discovered. What's going on? Do you think she knows? And just kind of browsing him? You don't think she knows at all? Mm-hmm. Okay. Because a lot of the comments did think she could potentially know. No. And they say, bruh, she knows. She's just curious as to how far you're going to take the charade. No. I don't think she knows. I don't think so either. I feel like she would have called him out. I think she would have had, unless he's not picking up. But I feel like she would have had, like, giveaways, like, kind of like body language laughing and just different. I don't know. I don't know. A lot of people just kind of question the post. This right here, either that or OP's just lying about this, OP is definitely making this up. Nobody just adopts an accent for fun and then carries it into the workplace. Yeah. People do that. They definitely do. People do, my strange addictions, like there's a lot of things people do. That's not that crazy. - I mean, there's people that turn themselves into cats. - Yeah. - So I don't think an accent is that out of the realm. - A sexy accent? - Yeah. - To complete your sexy transformation? - After you literally got told. - And I quote, "You've got the most annoying voice "on the face of the planet." - Oh my God. - That is hard. - No, that's insane. - Also, I didn't even get to address the fact that the X is so mean. Genuinely so mean. - Just break up. - Yeah, just break up. - Just break up. - My goodness. - So where do you fall on this one? Do you think it's fake? Or do you think it's real? - I think it's real. - So this post is seven years old. - Okay. - So it's kind of pre-AI. It's pre where people really were posting to like karma farm. - I feel like after COVID, like 2021 is when you really started seeing an influx of like fake posts on Reddit. And then really in the last year, it's increased. So seven years old to me, it's kind of like, okay, it's pre-AI. - Yeah, more reputable. - Dill could have been a creative writing process. I feel like the creative writing stuff though. I feel like they don't reply back. Like I wouldn't believe it if it was me either. - I know. That is true. But this is their first and only post. - Okay. - So could have came in just to drop this. I mean, it is very hard to believe that the X wouldn't recognize OP, no matter how much they changed. - That, yeah, I guess. - But OP is also going by middle name now. - Yeah. - It's like-- - And how many years ago was it? 'Cause there's like growth spurs that happened within that too. - About eight years ago. - Yeah. - Just before I went to university. - I could see it, actually, 18 to now 26. I mean, I see people's TikToks about like their boyfriend glow up that they make about their partner and like truly different people. - Yeah. - This guy was like anti-girlfriend. - He went glasses, contacts, yeah. - Canadian accent. Whatever that was to Australian. - I believe it. - I actually could see this. - I'm a believer. - And a believer. - Oh my gosh, I need to know what you guys think of this one, but he doesn't have any updates or anything. - That's it, that's all we got. - Well, I love this as a movie. Please somebody make it. And if you're out there, OP, please come back and update us and let us know if you and your ex got back together again and she never found out who you were and then you had a family. And then here we are like another seven years later and you've got two kids. Let us know. Let us know if you ever came clean. - I literally can't wait. I'm putting this into the air. I need to know. - I need to know, yeah. - OP. - Come back to us. - Are you out there? - We need to know. - OP. - Questions. Are you ready to put your family first and drive into the future with confidence? Check out the newly designed Chrysler Pacifica. Visit Chrysler.com to learn more. Chrysler is a registered trademark of SCAUSLC. Thanks Chrysler. - Okay, this one. Coming from R/TIFU, today fucked up. Basically, subreddit to just like out yourself about like a stupid, weird mess up. And it's titled, "Today I fucked up going to my ex's wedding." - Interesting. - My ex-girlfriend invited me to her wedding. It was unexpected, but I accepted. The invitation said the people who were allowed to bring a plus one were married or engaged couples. I was not engaged or married, so I went alone. I managed to couple up with another single guy at the wedding and stayed with him throughout the ceremony to avoid looking like I didn't belong. The two of us got separated at the reception because we were allocated to different tables. My table only had single people. As we got to know one another, we realized we had one specific thing in common. We were all exes of the bride. It was a little weird, but we made a joke of it because we assumed that was the point of us being there. Fast forward to the speeches. When it was the bride's turn to speak, she asked all of her exes to stand up, which we did. She informed the audience that we were the people she dated and had disappointed her over the years before she discovered the love of her life, aka her husband. She wanted us all to know how grateful she was to have been with all of us, but then she locked eyes with me and said maybe not all of us. She said my name and asked me to wave at everyone. I waved, like an idiot. She warned all of the women at the wedding to watch out for me because I literally peed on her. The husband stood up at that moment and covered the microphone with his hand while he whispered something to his wife that made her look confused as fuck. The bride sat down without saying anything else. The husband made an awkward joke about his wife having too much champagne and instructed us to please take our seats. The DJ intervened and asked if any of the groom's exes were also in the house which actually made the audience laugh. The music played and everyone pretended none of that just happened. Except for me, I got the fuck out of there as soon as the lights dimmed for the disco ball. Today I fucked up. Okay. It's real. No, you're immediately going to fail. Can't be. Too unhinged? Well, it's kind of like, why is the DJ telling everyone to take their seats right before he turns on the disco ball? These stories are so stressful to me. I have to go like into one detail. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think the husband took the mic, said, you know, take your seats. But what do you think he could have said to his bride that made her confused as fuck? At that, I would love to know. Like, okay, ha ha. And it's just like, okay. If your cuckold speech is over, we're good now. Right. I don't know. And she said, I'm sorry. I'm sorry Morgan. Can we take it back? You said he peed on her? He did. He peed on her. Okay. Well, that's really interesting. Yeah. Because at the time, it would have seemed like a fun thing for everybody to be doing that he thought that an invitation to her wedding was good and normal. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't think I would go to the wedding of someone that I had peed on in the past. Especially if they didn't enjoy it. Yeah. Right. Like, you would have thought that would have caused a huge fight. And then it would have been like, uh-oh. This invitation to the wedding surely is going to be a trap by which I'm ensnared in some sort of tar that has a nail sticking up homelone style that I'm going to step in or a paint can's going to come and swing and hit my head or cracked ornaments on the ground for my bare feet or blowtorch to my head or sticky sticky doorknob or something like that. That's kind of where my head would go. We do get context about the pee. It was consensual. Okay. So OP does share here in a comment because people just kind of go down the line of, man, if I were her husband, I would be considering an annulment at that point. That kind of behavior is unhinged. She made the wedding more about her exes and less about her actual husband. I'd be looking for an exit immediately. And OP says, the most emotionally exhausting person I've ever been with, I was actually curious to see what kind of person she was now to make someone want to marry her. Not going to lie. It's a horrible reason to go to the wedding. I'm disappointed, but not surprised to see that not much has changed since our relationship came to an end. And someone goes, but did you pee on her? And OP goes, yes. And someone goes, we really need the context. Did you pee on her back? Or on purpose? Was it a drunk? I thought I was in the bathroom moment or a, you're a crazy bitch. And here's me, peen on you to match your crazy shit kind of thing. Wow. I can't believe that's something I typed. But answers are required. OP says, it was just one of the kinks the two of us agreed to test out. We did it once and never again. Hmm. There's some context. Is it making it more real for you? It's making it less real for me because if you guys were both, it's like then her saying that in the speech is basically just as embarrassing for her as it is for him. It's not like she's outing him for something bad. She's just basically saying, hey, here's something I'm into sexually at her own wedding. She just doesn't feel like quite the revenge you're looking for. I just wondered if she got hammered. I wonder if she just got so-- But don't you think you would've said she was so blackout like she started doing this, but he doesn't even make mention of that? I don't know. I feel like some people are now starting to turn speeches into this, like, clipable moment that goes viral. Like, I saw a post and this was actually the reason why I hired my videographer team. I saw a wedding video of one of the groomsmen giving a speech for his best friend and he goes, you know, I saw love in Rachel's eyes the minute she saw Jack and I knew they were meant to be together. The only problem was I was dating Rachel at the time. Oh, funny. Like, that's in the speech. So I'm wondering if this was her, just like, this is going to be funny. Look at all like the frogs that had to kiss to get here, he-ha-ha, don't pee on anyone. I wonder if she just kind of went off the rails and it went too far. But then, don't you think it wouldn't be in-- or I guess he's saying, I fucked up by going. I shouldn't have gone. Yeah. So here's our evidence, okay? Okay. Evidence for being fake. Obviously, incredibly crazy story. Why would anyone actually do this? And do you actually go to your ex's wedding? Right. Probably not. OPs also active in R/Overheard and TIFF you and like a very active in R/Overheard, like I think this person must ride public transportation or just have a lot of experiences in public and seems to be documenting basically everyone on R/Overheard. Wow. Okay. So that's kind of random. Evidence for it being real. The account is pretty old, it is a part of the 4 or your club on Reddit, not an insane amount of karma. So despite all the posting they do, low karma score, which again, doesn't seem like your karma farming and like trying to write all these fake posts to garner karma, has posted back in 2022. Into a few, today I fucked up, calling my best friend cute. At that time, back in 2022, was a 20 year old male. So would now be a 24, 25 year old male. So an age where your exes could get married. And yeah, we also do get an update. - What's the update? - So the husband of the bride reaches out to OP. So it starts the husband. I almost didn't answer when I noticed an unknown number calling me, but I did end up answering the call and realized it was my ex's husband. He said I was the first of four exes he was calling within apology on behalf of his wife. He wanted me to understand that he was traveling for work during most of the wedding planning. So he apparently had minimal involvement, which actually suited him because his wife made him feel like she had had everything under control. He joked about her trying to gaslight him in a believing she informed him about all of her exes beforehand, but he remembered no such conversation. He made it sound like it was something funny because he never expected us to actually show up. Even though we had to confirm we were coming. The longer I listened to him, the clearer it became that he was gaming while talking to me. As a gamer myself, I automatically recognize the mechanical sound of those dead by daylight generators in the background. Dude would repeatedly pause mid-sentence to do whatever he needed to do in the game and then forget the last thing he said to me. I eventually asked if it was a bad time, but he was like, quote, I'm on my honeymoon bro. It's all good. I said I was sorry if my presence at the wedding made anyone uncomfortable. The husband said he appreciated my apology and playfully or not playfully encouraged me to avoid going to weddings of people I've peed on. I said I learned my lesson. The husband literally said nothing for like five seconds and then asked what lesson? Like you no longer had any idea what we were talking about. That was it for me. I was done having a conversation with someone whose attention was obviously elsewhere. So I said I had to go. The husband thanked me for calling him, even though he was the one who called me, but I didn't care enough to correct him. I just said goodbye. All of the above happened during the week. Thankfully, it's been radio silence since Thursday with the exception of the umbrella dude. So hopefully that means everyone else has moved on. What's the umbrella dude? I have no fucking idea what the umbrella dude is. The umbrella dude, I believe, is Slovenian culture. It's like Santa Claus in Eastern Europe where the umbrella dude shows up if you think you've made a horrible mistake. Yeah. And he comes at night. I have to leave a tooth under the pillow. It's kind of like the tooth fairy, but it's a little different. The umbrella dude. And then the umbrella dude tells you if you did something wrong or not. It feels like a little added piece of callback to something to further validate. Validate? Why did I want to say "validate"? I thought I was gonna say "validify" and I was like, that's the word. Okay, validate the story. Where are you following on this one? Well, I don't know. It's a medical mystery to me that he would, like if you get invited to a wedding and you go to it, that just tells me already, either like you're completely socially tone deaf or you guys, we're on-- You don't go to weddings? No, like to an ex. Oh, okay. Like either you can't read the situation at all. I miss-- I don't think I said it. If I get an invitation to a wedding, I'm disgusted, and I'll never go to that. I was like, what, there's no fun? You're socially inept if you go to a wedding. What are you doing there? I honestly, there's one ex I would go to his wedding. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. It's like if you go, if you're invited, that means the one person was like, "Hey, I'd love you at my wedding." And then if you go, you're like, "Hey, I'd love to be at your wedding." And that tells me that both consenting adults are like, we ended on good terms, this is a good idea. So for it to end this way is just so confusing to me. And for him to be like, I kind of always thought she was a bitch and I just wanted to see if she still was. It's like-- Creep on her Instagram. Yeah, like-- So I figured out who umbrella dude is. Okay. I guess one of the other exes at the wedding is dad owns an umbrella business or whatever, and he's been trying to sell me umbrellas. Even though at the wedding, he joked about the umbrellas being poor quality and absolutely not worth buying. Apparently he was drunk when he made that joke and now he's spamming me. Okay, so you thought you made a friend, but he really just wants to sell you umbrellas. I'm imagining sitting at a wedding next to him. I was like, "Hey, have you ever been anywhere or it's raining?" Imagine this. I'm umbrella, but it's bigger than a regular umbrella. Hey, hey, let me see your hands. I make umbrellas that are a perfect size for your hand. But you literally, you and me should have a zoom. Imagine no worse person to subset it away. I would actually just go take my plate in the bathroom. Yeah, eat on the toilet. You gotta do that. I mean, at that point, if you would have left at that point, then you could have avoided this weird speech. Yeah, probably would have bitten the play. It almost feels like, okay, can I just say something for the room? I'm almost wondering like, I guess Darius has put me in a certain head space now. Bye. 'Cause I'm like, is this just someone who wants to say to everyone, like, I peed on someone. What do you guys think of that? (laughs) Anyway, I just ended it. Yeah, is it like that again? Is it like, can you believe they talked about me peeing on her in front of a room of 200 people? How cripplingly embarrassing for me and my tiny penis. And, uh-oh, my tiny penis is getting hard and, like, is it that? I honestly, I don't know. I feel like the pee-kink is starting to feel more normal in the world of what else is out there. Yes, but there could also be the kink of, like, okay, for example, I used to live in Toronto. And there was a man in the neighborhood that I lived in who would wear skin tight bike shorts and he had a huge fake dick that he would put down the leg of one pen. And this man was always wearing a helmet and a biking outfit. Never a bike to be seen around him. And he would just walk around and he would, like, clock all the groups of women that were like, oh my, like, 'cause you would look and then immediately, like, oh my God, it was like a tunicially bit. I know, and then some people, it's not like he was going, look, look, look at my dick. He wanted to act like he didn't want you to see his dick so that when you saw his dick and you were horrified by it, that was what he likes. But he didn't know that she was gonna mention the pee in the speech, but do you think this whole story is fake? That's what I'm saying. Just so be, it can be like, I pee down someone. Yes, that's what I'm saying. I'm saying if the story is fake, the redditors are the audience and he's not trying to draw attention to, he's just trying to be like, you know what I mean? Like an understated way of being like, I pee down someone. That does happen, right? So like I think looking back to Darius, that does happen where you'll get the post that are like, I'm so hot to be in book club six, seven, like a hub spins, like threatened by me in book club. And then you go to their account and you'll start seeing the news, which is what happened with Darius, right? With this OP, you go to their account, seemingly normal post history. No dudes, not trying to sell, no dick picks, not trying to sell sexual content, just a normal account. What are some other posts that are happening in that account? Just like the overheard ones. Like I overheard a guy on a bus, talk about like, some of them were like, are they sexual? Not really, just really random, seemingly random. Of course there's like an occasional borderline inappropriate, but their username is dude, where's my cute car? So like not a super inappropriate username. What a twist. Yeah, like this one, talking about a bus ride, overheard a dad and his daughter at a restaurant today, talking about a bug, dad, how big was the bug? Younger daughter, big, bigger than my hand. Dad, were you scared? Younger daughter, nope. Like, literally sharing seemingly boring conversations in our slush overheard. Interesting. There's a girl talking about, like girls having a conversation at a house party, talking while tripping. I overheard my roommate saying random shit while tripping. Girl number one. Do you think there's any guys at this party that would be willing to piss on me? Girl number two. I don't think so. Guys have to be really brave and strong, sexy, smart, and cool to be willing to do something like that. Yeah, the title of that post is Strawberry C-U-N-T. Oh, so it could go down that path. I've learned so much today. Girl with gum. At least he didn't have smegma. Girl with vape. You really need to get over that. Girl with dimples. What flavor is the vape you're smoking? Strawberry C-U-N-T. How does he get to be around all these cool girls? That's what I want to know. I don't know what's happening. What's your final verdict on this one? I guess I'll say it's real. Just because I want to, I don't know. Morgan, I don't like this part of the internet. It scares me. I know, I do think this one is real. Because I'm like, I just don't like all these sad stories. If they're not real, I'm mad at these people for stressing me out and making me sad. I mean, this isn't that sad. I know, but some of them were sad today. So I almost feel like I have to say-- No, the AI use was sad. Yeah, yeah. But the other ones were-- Yeah, you're right. It was OK. So I think maybe this one is real then. OK. You think it's real? Yeah, I do. We're the same. We're twins. We're having the best sleepover of our lives. I know. I'm not going to lose, by the way. I'm so comfortable. Come back and just sleep forever. And make God bless whoever made this blanket. I know her sister made it, and she had an Etsy. And I literally went to go to the Etsy link to go buy another one. And the Etsy account is gone. No, make more. It's fit. I know. So I'm trying to convince her to start the Etsy backup. So I can post the link, because listeners ask me about it constantly. The hogs will go wild for this. Yeah. Yeah. Have you seen the hog on TikTok? Her name's Cheeto, and she brings other hogs back to the trap. No, I need to see everything you're talking about. OK, I will send it to you. I'll send it to you. By the way, I'm going to say the fans will go hog wild. But I ended up saying the hogs will go wild. And I don't even think that's what I-- You're calling my listeners hogs. - Hogs? - Wow. - Sound off hogs, send your nudes, all the hog nudes in the comments. - We actually don't really have a username. I wanted to be the hotties. Meg the stallion's already got it. - So be the hoggies. - The hoggies? - The hogs, hey hogs. - Hey. - No, Kate, you don't have a nickname for your fans. - I need hog. I need you to just workshop it. - Oh my God. Oh yeah, 'cause you would want to be the hotties. - Meg the stallion. I'm like, why wouldn't she call herself the studs? I would love to be like, hey stud. If you've seen those hats, they have the weird animals on them and then a term, I have a deer that says, big rack or rack. - Yeah. - And so I have that. And then I do have a horseman that says stud. So I'm like, I don't know, but then people are like, it's a very sexual term within, I forget what community. So you can't do the studs. So make the stallion if you're out there. Can we share it? Just, you know, let me know. We'll get back to it. It'll come to you. But this is really, I'm gonna be texting you later. Look, it's now I'm like, have to think of it for you. - Yeah. Please let me know, 'cause you are just like creative genius. You have so many projects coming up. Where can people follow you? Where can they find you? - At the Lisa Gilroy on all the things and on brothers coming to Apple TV. - Dude, I just saw the trailer for that. - Looks insane. - I can't believe I get to work with these men. - Looks insane. Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey, like, I can't. - And I get to be so mean to both of them. You're gonna love it. (laughing) So yes, the paper season two on Peacock and Golden Axe. - Okay, I saw a clip from that too, where you're the HR person. - Yes, on paper, on the paper. - She's allergic to egg plant, but not that egg plant. - Exactly, yeah. - Oh, you could call your friends swifties. I don't think that's been taken. - Has that been taken by anything? Bill, can you Google that? (laughing) Thank you for having me, I love you. - Oh, thank you for coming on. - Go check out Lisa. All of her links will be in the description. Follow, subscribe. She's amazing. Until next time, guys, bye.

Summary:

The word 'ruin' is used in multiple contexts: to mean 'to damage' (e.g., 'ruin my day') and to mean 'to destroy' (e.g., 'a ruined relationship'). The speaker notes that it's used differently depending on the emotional tone, showing how language can shift based on intent.

The story is likely real, supported by real posts and consistent details. The husband's sudden appearance and choice of the book 'Captive in the Dark' are suspicious but not definitively fake, and the user's behavior across subreddits adds credibility to the narrative.

Yes, AI-generated content can produce highly detailed and emotionally compelling stories that appear authentic. However, technical flaws like distorted camera angles or nonsensical text in images often reveal AI involvement, making it detectable through close analysis.

High karma points don't prove authenticity, as they can be earned through engagement, not truth. Users may post to gain attention, build community, or promote content—making karma a sign of activity, not reality.
