54: Exposing JP Miller’s Shady History: Years Of Abuse, SA Allegations, and More
76m 13s
The transcript blends promotional content with a deep, investigative dive into the case of Micah Miller, a young woman who died after enduring severe abuse at the hands of Pastor John Paul Miller. The narrative begins with lifestyle and product endorsements—such as the 2026 Toyota Camry, Crown Coins Casino, and wellness brands—before shifting to a detailed exposé of JP Miller’s abusive behavior. Evidence suggests that JP, from a young age, was exposed to a toxic family environment involving his father’s sexual misconduct and his own early criminal actions. He later led a church, Solid Rock Ministries, where he maintained a facade of faith and leadership while engaging in predatory sexual acts, including assaults on minors in church and school settings. Micah, a close church member and former fiancée of JP’s wife, was subjected to extreme emotional, physical, and spiritual abuse—such as forced sexual acts, isolation, medical coercion, and psychological torment. Her family and attorney have documented these abuses in a detailed "Micah’s List," which outlines systemic patterns of control and harm. Despite the severity of these allegations, JP was not held accountable, and the church continued to support him. A 2025 lawsuit alleges that JP and his father used their religious status to manipulate and exploit vulnerable minors, denying them proper education and safety. The deeper message is one of institutional failure: victims were silenced, the church leaders protected, and abuse normalized under the guise of faith. The case underscores the urgent need for accountability, transparency, and support for survivors in religious and community settings.

I'm about to kill myself and I just want my family to know where to find me.
Listen, if you ever want to know what I'm going through in life, it's always about what I'm preaching about.
And if you want a divorce, you'll have to leave me because the Bible says, I'll never leave you nor forsake.
I got a call late last night. My wife has passed away.
What had been going on? What had been going on in Micah's life?
That she would think her only way out was self-harm.
I am sure many of you, like me, have probably watched the latest true crime documentary on Netflix called Death of a Pastor's Wife.
This docuseries dives into Micah Miller, her background, and unfortunately, the events leading up to her tragic death.
I'm about to kill myself and. I just want my family to know where to find me.
Now, obviously, if you've listened to this podcast before, you know that we are no stranger to Micah's case.
Not on this channel, not on this podcast.
I've already done a few deep dives into the case, and I did a recent one, gosh, when was it?
About a week and a half ago, diving into what Netflix missed, what they left out.
And so many of you not only replied, we want to know more about JP, we want to know what's going on with him.
Like, tell us more because there's only so much you can fit into a single episode.
But really, kind of demanding, like, the JP Miller expose.
And you know I've said it before, I'll say it again.
I am a podcaster of the people.
I am here to deliver what you want to hear because there is so, so, so much more to JP Miller than a lot of people know.
Not only what Netflix left on the cutting room floor, but just in general.
The kind of shit he's been doing for years, for decades, what he's up to now.
And so, what I wanted to do. Today, do a full-on episode exposing this creep of a man, JP Miller.
Otherwise known as Pastor John Paul Miller.
Not because he deserves a whole video on his own and he is, you know, some great person, because he's obviously not, you know how I feel about him.
But more so because you can't really talk about Micah and getting justice for Micah without talking about the man who, I believe, was behind all of her suffering.
Which, spoiler alert. JP was a terrible person long before he even met Micah.
And he has stayed a terrible person since her death.
But, if you have not listened to that episode where we go through Micah Miller's story, what happened to her, the comparison to the Netflix doc,
I highly encourage that you watch that before you come and listen to this episode just so that you have the full backstory of Micah and everything that she went through.
So, there is a lot to go over today, guys.
We are going to get into the nitty-gritty.
We are going to be here for a minute.

Now, there isn't a ton of background information on JP's childhood.
What we do know is that JP was born to Reginald and Susan Miller in 1970.
And the fact that JP would one day grow up to become a pastor, it really shouldn't be a shock.
Because it's all he really knew from a very young age.
You see, he didn't just grow up in a family who prayed occasionally or made sure to go to church every Sunday.
His dad was a United Methodist Church pastor for two years in the early 70s.
That's before starting his own church in 1972.
The church was in Florence, South Carolina.
And it was called Florence Tabernacle.
Now, not too long after opening it, Reginald also opened up a Bible college called Gloryland Bible College.
Though, it later got a revamp and was changed to Cathedral Bible College.
But Reginald really wanted more.
He wanted his sermons and his teachings to reach beyond the local community.
But it also wasn't the same world in which we live today, where he could just make a Facebook page for the church,
go live every Sunday, stream live on Instagram or TikTok.
So instead, he started a TV channel.
And it was a TV show called Good Morning Jesus.
And it aired in five different states, also aired in Canada.
Which look, that's a huge step, but I don't know, maybe it might not sound like a lot.
But for this guy who had been limited to the local community in South Carolina, I mean, that was a huge deal.
So when I say this is all really that JP knew growing up, I mean it.
Everything revolved around ministry.
JP would watch his dad preaching as a child, and he would imagine himself on stage.
Someday preaching to a room full of people as well.
And as we know, that dream came true.
But how did he go from being a pastor's son to what he's known for today?
Well, here's the thing.
JP watched his dad do a lot of things growing up, and not all of those things were good things.
JP wasn't the first in his family to go through a scandal or two.
It started when he was younger.
In fact, Reginald was going through scandals left and right when JP was still young.
In the '80s, his parents separated.
They ended up going through a pretty nasty divorce.
And according to an affidavit from their divorce proceedings, Susan claimed that multiple female students from the Gloryland Bible College had accused Reginald of making sexual advances toward them.
And apparently, the allegations didn't only involve women.
The affidavit writes that Susan's world began to crumble when several of the wives of some of the male students came to her, claiming,
"I just wanted to make sure that I was doing the right thing."
But her husband's had also felt extremely uncomfortable by Reginald, after he had made sexual advances toward them as well.
Now, the identities of the men and women involved weren't made public, and this was long before victims, in my opinion, were ever given the kind of grace, empathy, and understanding that they often receive today.
It's more -- it was more taboo.
It was more hush-hush.
But these were public records.
And Reginald's reputation, it started to take a massive hit.
When, unsure of what else to do, Reginald moved his family to Myrtle Beach, hoping for a fresh start.
But it turns out that trouble -- it has a way of following you when you don't actually change who you are as a person.
And in 2006, Reginald ended up being arrested at a bathhouse in Myrtle State Beach Park, and he was charged with lewdness and prostitution after he allegedly exposed himself to an undercover officer.
Now, all of that to say, that was how J.P. ended up in the Myrtle Beach Park.
By 1993, when they made the move, J.P. was 14 years old.
So he was still young, yes, but also old enough to recognize these unhealthy family dynamics that were surrounding him.
Not surprisingly, J.P.'s relationship with his dad was very complicated.
And he would later describe it by saying, "My dad never got Father of the Year award, not even once.
However, he did provide for us, and if we were ever in trouble, he was the first one to take care of us and bail us out.
We didn't see him much at all growing up."
J.P. also was starting to take in how the adults in his life were reacting to situations that they were, you know, in the wrong in.
Pretty much right away, J.P. started following in his dad's footsteps, too, and not in a good way.
Because in 1997, that's when J.P. was arrested for the very first time.
Now, granted, it wasn't anything as severe as his dad -- it was only for driving with a suspended license.
But, as we know, that wouldn't be the last time that he got into trouble with law enforcement.
A few months later, in 1998, he was arrested again.
And this time, for a pretty awful crime.
He was arrested for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.
And the details of this incident are more than insane.
Apparently, J.P. hit a woman with his truck in a subdivision near Myrtle Beach, and then he continued to drive nearly 100 yards with her body still on his hood before ultimately stopping.
According to records, J.P. argued that he wasn't in the wrong, saying that this woman had been harassing him, that she willingly jumped onto the hood of his truck and tried to damage it, then she refused to get off.
So, that's why he drove, which, that was his version of events.
However, the woman who had been hit, Jennifer Garland, she told a very different story.
She was 19 years old at the time of the incident, same as J.P.
She and her family were in the Bride Creek subdivision of Myrtle Beach.
extreme flooding had happened in
the area now because of the flooding that road had been closed by the county authorities there
was even a giant road closed sign everywhere you know but apparently instead of seeing the sign
and turning around jp entered this area in his silver s10 pickup truck with black tape by the
way covering the license plate which that's weird on its own right i mean why would his license plate
be covered like that unless you're trying to evade something well apparently because jp had just been
there minutes before in a different truck he was speeding on the closed road acting like an
asshole so understandably jennifer and the rest of her family who were trying to sandbag homes and
actually do some good in the world had told jp that he needed to leave and then apparently he
comes back in a different truck with the license plate covered now jp never came out and said why
he did any of this but just based on everything we know about him it seems like he probably got
angry that someone was telling him what to do and again the hidden license plate
switching trucks that suggests that he went back with bad intentions and that's when things got
scary according to the complaint quote upon returning in the silver s10 jp miller again
began to speed to harass the people attempting to save their homes at the same time jennifer was
walking on the roadway and she was telling jp to slow down his vehicle jp instead accelerated and
he ran into the plaintiff pushing her onto the hood of the truck
with the plaintiff on the hood for approximately 100 yards wherein he was then stopped by a witness
and jennifer was able to roll off the vehicle then the defendant left the scene now remember jp said
that she was harassing him but personally i know who i am more inclined to believe so after he was
arrested his bond was set at five thousand dollars and he very quickly paid it so he literally got
out the same day his ultimate punishment was a suspended license for four years three years of
five hundred hours of community service and in order to pay court fees but like his dad had taught
him your past doesn't have to define your future so jp moved forward he got married to his first
wife ali williams and they had four kids together there was only one thing missing jp wanted to
follow in his dad's footsteps and become a pastor and not just to any church that was looking for a
new pastor or a replacement he wanted to open his own church just like his dad's footsteps and he
was just like his dad so in 2006 jp founded solid rock ministries now solid rock wasn't affiliated
with any specific denomination it was described as a christian church with four core values we serve
we forgive we respect and we give the church and the congregation grew and the next thing that
everyone knew solid rock was really a staple in the community for years from the outside looking
in it seemed like jp was preaching and teaching those four core values and jp was the one who
started to realize that maybe that wasn't the case but to anyone who walked in the doors of solid rock
church on sunday they might have seen jp as a lot of different things i mean he was charismatic
he could hold the entire room's attention he was a leader a husband a dad a friend at one point the
bio on solid rock church's website said that growing up jp quote thought church was for fake
people who were one way in public and another way in the church and so on and so forth and so on and so
behind closed doors. Which it almost paints this redemption story. Like JP was this young kid who
questioned faith and the church and went through his own struggles, but then eventually turned his
life around and became the guy who was preaching in front of everyone today. The irony is that JP
was exactly the kind of person that his quote was describing. He was going to church, he was acting
one way in front of the congregation and his family, but behind closed doors? He was an entirely
different person and did more ways than one. And that is where Micah comes into the picture.
I have officially reached that point in my life where comfortability is like over everything
and I refuse to wear an uncomfortable bra all day. And wireless bras, yeah, they sound great
in theory, but so many of them either give you like zero support, they give you that kind of like,
you know, uniboob situation going on in the middle. But that's why I
have been obsessed with Honeylove for like the last year, specifically their X Balance bra. It's
wireless, but it actually holds you up. The X design in the center, it gives you that real lift
and separation and the molded cups give you shape, but without feeling bulky. Plus it's comfortable
enough to wear that I can genuinely wear it all day without wanting to like rip it off the second
I get home. And it's become one of those bras that I just grab without even thinking about it
because I know that it'll work under basically everything. So treat yourself to the most advanced

some of this isn't exactly new information. But for those of you who haven't done a deep dive,
I do want to do a quick run through for you. So J.P. did a lot of sermons on the sanctity of
marriage. And in hindsight, some of these marriage sermons are a little bit questionable at best.
Ephesians 533, a woman is to respect her husband, to notice him, to esteem him,
to praise him that is verbal, to praise him and to admire him greatly. Wives,
you should be your husband's number one fan. There should not be another woman in the world,
including his mother.
There should not be another woman in the world, including his mother, that praises your husband
as much as you do. Don't ever speak to him disrespectfully. Don't ever speak to him in a
dishonorable way. You could destroy his soul with the words that come out of your mouth.
You say, well, my husband, he's made a lot of mistakes. Every man in this room has made a lot
of mistakes. Every man in this room. If you have a husband that goes to church and has a job,
that's in the top 1% of men on planet earth. And if he tithes, that's in the top 0.1% of men on the
planet earth. He's not going to be, he's not going to be the godly man that you're married to.
Point being marriage was a huge topic of conversation throughout the years.
So when JP and his first wife, Allie separated, the congregation was shocked. Divorce was frowned
upon. However, their separation was the least shocking part of the story because the reason
that they had split up was because JP was cheating on her and he had been cheating on her for quite
some time. And the truth was the only way to get rid of him was to get rid of him.
The only way his wife even found out about it was because she found text messages on his phone
to prove it. But again, that wasn't even the most shocking part of the story. The shocking part
was that the affair was very close to home because JP was cheating on Allie with the then
20 year old Micah. And Micah was someone that Allie knew very well. Micah had been coming to
Solid Rock since she was 13 years old. Over the years, she had really immersed herself into life
at Solid Rock. And she had been coming to Solid Rock since she was 13 years old. And she had been coming to Solid Rock. And one
of the biggest things that she became known for was her voice. There are so many videos of Micah
throughout the years singing at church. And it's clear she definitely had raw talent.
Now, Micah, her first husband Jeremy, Allie, and JP, the four of them were all very close.
In a later affidavit, Allie described their relationship by saying,
And to some degree, I took her under my wing as an older daughter. I taught her how to drive,
took her to get her driver's license, allowed her to care for our children,
shared family mealtimes in our house, provided her guidance and advice.
Now, when the affair began in 2015, Micah was 20 years old. JP was 35 years old.
But by that September of the same year, Allie and JP were officially divorced.
Now, the whole thing caused a huge ruckus within the church. I mean,
a pastor cheating on his wife with a woman in the choir, a woman who was friendly with him.
his wife and was treated like another daughter, it was a lot of gossip and a lot of tea inside
the church. And long before the divorce was even official, that gossip traveled fast and pretty
much everyone knew what JP and Micah were doing behind closed doors. But like I said earlier,
JP and his family were no stranger to a scandal. It was how you reacted to the scandal that mattered
the most. So JP wrote a letter to the church, laying it all out there for them, asking for
forgiveness. And part of the letter read,
in counseling and have more accountability than ever. I sinned and disappointed you. I wish that
I could please everyone who remains upset by paying for my sin, but I can't. I cannot atone
for what happened. The consequences of my actions are far more horrific than you could imagine,
but I am not going to turn my back on God. God has given me a gift. He has anointed me to speak
his word in a way that draws people closer to Jesus. Just because I failed a test doesn't mean
that I am going to turn my back on God. I am going to turn my back on God. I am going to turn my back
and stop using that gift. I was recently offered a full-time secular job that would allow me to
leave the ministry and never have to deal with the shame or embarrassment of what happened in my
past. If I took this job, I would have a more peaceful life with no problems that come with
ministry, no headaches, no cell phone, and I wouldn't have to stand up and preach God's word
while looking in the eyes of people who know my failure. Although the offer was tempting,
and though I will most likely take a part-time job on the side to take care of my family during
this season, I will not be able to do that. I will not be able to do that. I will not be able to
listen. God has called me to rebirth Solid Rock Ministries. So basically, JP used all of this
word salad as some sort of weird call to a rebirth of the church, as he put it. And apparently,
there was some backlash. People felt like they had been lied to by JP, and like maybe they were
being led by someone who shouldn't have been leading anyone. Allegedly, some people who
attended the church at the time claimed that the church elders told them that they,
weren't being good Christians though, if they couldn't forgive JP. So for some people,
it felt like they didn't really have a choice. I'm sure that some people did leave,
but a lot of them stayed. And eventually, as time passed, new members joined Solid Rock,
having absolutely no idea what had happened between JP, Allie, and Micah. And then, two years
later, JP and Micah got married. So it seemed like the whole scandal was in the past. But what a lot
of people don't know, is that they didn't know that they were going to be led by JP. And so,
they didn't know that they were going to be led by JP. And so, they didn't
while JP and Allie were going through their divorce, the affair was not the only thing
making her uncomfortable. Now, this information wouldn't formally come out for years, not until
she filed an ex parte motion for their two minor children in 2024. But keep in mind, everything that
I'm about to go over is information that Allie was allegedly privy to back in 2015, during the
divorce and the church scandal. So she alleges that JP's affair with Micah was honestly the least
concerning thing in the history of the church. And so, she alleges that JP's affair with Micah
was honestly the least concerning thing in the history of the church. And so, she alleges that
he had confessed to her. And again, this is all alleged, but instead of paraphrasing, I'm going
to read the exact court documents. JP told me that in addition to his affair with Micah, he had
employed prostitutes, and he had been sexually inappropriate with several underage female members
of our church. He blamed his immoral sexual behaviors on the sexual abuse that he experienced
for years by his father, Wayne Miller. Which, if you're confused by that, his father's name is
Wayne Miller. That's why she just referred to him as Wayne Miller. But, as if that wasn't concerning
enough, she wasn't the only one who knew about this. The church also knew about it. So she
continued in these court documents by writing,
The church requested that JP enroll in an extensive sexual addiction program. However, despite him
promising me that he would, to my knowledge, that never happened. Which, if that's true, it makes
the whole thing even more disturbing. Because church elders were allegedly telling people they needed to forgive
JP for his affair with Micah. And so, she said,
All while knowing that there were much more disturbing allegations about what JP was doing
behind closed doors that were going on, more than the congregation ever even knew about.
And it doesn't even end there. His ex says that, understandably, she was sickened by learning about
this, and she felt like nothing was being done about it. The court document states,
Although they each shared with me detailed accounts of what JP did to them, they were too scared of JP to file a police report or testify in court.
When I learned that they were too fearful to report JP, I went to the police department for the purpose of making a report and requesting an investigation.
However, I was in essence told by police officials that nobody would believe me because JP was a well-known pastor and we were in the middle of a divorce.
Without the testimony of the victims, there was little else I could do to prove what JP had done and ensure that he was held accountable.
Which I truly don't even have words for how disgusting all of that is.
And I think far too often, victims, especially in religious communities, they end up being blamed or shamed for what happened to them.
They're made to feel like they somehow caused it or they are to blame for it.
But like she said in the court documents, who was going to believe her over JP?
And if the girls did come forward, who was going to believe them over him?
And I know what some of you might be thinking.
You know, how can someone who has done so much harm manage to keep living life with no consequences?
Well, it seems like maybe he had some help.
She wrote in that same court document,
I began to realize the power JP seemed to have over the leaders and officials in our community.
And based upon having limited proof, there was no way for me to ensure that JP was held accountable.
She continued by later saying,
As a convicted felon, he is not allowed to have weapons.
However, he managed to get a police chief from the church to assist with expunging his record.
Further, he was given a special police badge that says pastor that he could utilize if he ever gets pulled over so they will let him go.
Which I don't know, looking through that, reading that, I don't know, is it safe to say that JP had some friends in high places?
And if so,
Could that have had anything to do with why Micah's death was very so quickly ruled as self-inflicted and closed and he wasn't held accountable even on a lower manslaughter charge for driving her to do it?
I don't know.
Like I said, none of this information would come out until much later in the entire timeline.
And at the time, JP was begging the church for forgiveness for his adulterous ways.
And that forgiveness was granted.
And over the years, JP gave many more sermons, many of which were,
were very questionable, especially in hindsight, because some of these sermons were overall just kind of strange or off-putting.
So let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I grew up when I was a kid and I hung out with the wrong people living in the wrong place.
My father, he was like a craftsman and he would make things like out of wood and clay and stuff.
And he'd sell them to people who would actually use them for idol worship.
And at one point, God spoke to my father and told him that we should move on.
We should move our family to a different city away from that.
And he didn't listen.
Later on in life, he finally passed away.
And then God spoke to me and I took on my family and we moved where God told us to move.
During that time, my wife and I were traveling to a different country, wanting a vacation.
We were just traveling through somewhere.
And there was a bunch of guys and I didn't know, I thought they had some weapons or something.
And I got scared and they were looking at my wife.
And so I told my wife to go sleep with them in order to save my life because I didn't want to be hurt.
After that, I started tithing, which is a good thing to do.
I started tithing.
Then after that, I ended up sleeping with a woman that I was not married to.
I thought God was done with me.
But then he came to me one day and spoke to me and told me he wanted to have a covenant with me, like a relationship, a covenant.
He told me he would bless me in abundance.
He told me I'd be a blessing to others.
He said, if anybody came against me, he would take care of it.
I thought, well, God was my part of the covenant.
And God told me, I want you to cut off a piece of your wiener.
And I said, God, I don't really want to do that.
And he said, no, that's the sign that we're going to have this.
I said, God, I don't want to cut a piece of my wiener off.
And finally, I did it.
And I got a sharp stone.
And, you know, it was just, it was.
And then after that, after that, God made my dreams come true.
And he called me his friend.
What's my name?
Abraham.
I scared some of y'all for a minute, didn't I?
Some of the visitors were like, what's his name?
Is this church again?
Sure.
Some sermons were, you know, I don't know, just trying to grab people's attention,
tell a story from the Bible.
Yet, at the same time, there's got to be a better way to refer to your penis
than a wiener during multiple times in the sermon.
I don't know.
Other sermons were giving advice on things that he had no business giving advice on,
like financial literacy.
Take a listen.
So today's sermon and next Sunday's sermon, let me tell you what it's about.
I get between 10 to 20 phone calls.
Texts and emails every single week, every week of people asking for money.
every single week um stories from you know we we don't have a job to just two or three days ago i
got a a girl down here she has three kids one of the daddies um one of the kids daddies in prison
the other two uh beat her half to death and so she ran with the kids no job um babies that that can't
um eat right they pass out i mean i have stories every single day every day people ask for money
every day and so what i normally do is i pay them 20 an hour to sit with me and i teach them
financial counseling after those two or three hours then i pay them ten dollars an hour to work
here around church um i do this a lot and i'm passionate about it so what i'm going to do is
today's sermon and next sunday sermon are the six principles that i teach people in financial
counseling i'm gonna do three day three next sunday that way i can make one cd so rather than
me meet with them the first thing i'm going to do is i'm going to teach them financial counseling
i'm going to give them the cd or tell them where to find it on our website and pay them to listen
to it and then when they come meet with me they'll already have those principles written down
and their budget ready to meet this sermon is going to help me because i get to save time by
passing out cds and it's going to help y'all because when anyone asks you for money this cd
is going to say things that you want to tell people when they ask you for money but don't
have the guts to do so so you get to hand them a cd and say i'll pay you twenty dollars to listen
to this preacher and write down the six principles and then you're going to have to pay them a cd and
then meet with me so it's going to be it's going to help everybody okay the reason i'm passionate
about financial counseling is because uh it's just it's just in me i love what the bible says about
money i love what it says it's amazing how god created gold and just all these things that he
talks about the money jarring i know but in order to talk about some of jp's worst sermons
i have to talk about the things that were going on in his life during those sermons
because it seemed like a lot of the time he was getting inspiration on what to talk about from
whatever was going on in his personal life drawing on personal experience and jp himself has said
that he is inspired for his sermons by what he's going through listen if you ever want to know what
i'm going through in life it's always about what i'm preaching about god is so good to do that
every single time one day i'm gonna preach about getting rich strong healthy and finding a hot wife
that loves jesus that's what i'm gonna do i'm just kidding a few years into he and micah's marriage
things had all been a little bit different for him in the past but now he's doing a lot of things
that are going on in his life and he's going to do a lot of things in his life that are going on in
his life and he's going to do a lot of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do a lot
of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do a lot of things that are going on in
his life and he's going to do a lot of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do a
lot of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do a lot of things that are going on
in his life and he's going to do a lot of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do
a lot of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do
his life and he's going to do a lot of things that are going on in his life and he's going to do
Her family alleges that there were days when J.P. wouldn't even allow Micah to sleep until they had sex.
Other accounts allege that J.P. would force Micah to have sex with him up to four times a day.
And look, I have to say allegedly because these things are yet to be proven in court,
however, based on some of his own sermons and him sharing his really odd feelings about sex and marriage,
I'd say that's kind of confirmation enough for me personally.
Things were apparently getting bad enough, too, that Micah was trying to document everything,
whether that was in her journals, text messages, videos, etc.
So much.
Today, Micah's family has even used the different things that Micah documented to create something that they call Micah's List.
And I want to go through this list because it not only gives each thing that Micah experienced a name,
but it gives an example of how Micah experienced that specific abuse.
Yes.
The list is pretty extensive, though, and honestly, I could probably do an entire video just highlighting the different things that are listed in it,
so I'm not going to go over every single page with you in today's episode,
but I do want to cover some of the really hard-hitting entries.
As we're going through some of the categories, though, try to imagine, even for a second, being in Micah's shoes.
Maybe some of you have been.
Maybe some of you don't even have to imagine because you've lived it.
But one thing is clear to me.
This is abuse.
And the way that J.P. was treating her prior to her death, it was despicable.
Again, though, I do want to mention, even though this is in a document, everything is alleged.
Now, let's start with isolation from family and friends.
The document reads,
J.P. cut her off from her family and friends,
taking her contact list by confiscating her cell phone and hiding it from her,
telling her that her family is using her, are not good people, and she should disassociate with them,
forbidding her to spend time with friends,
or questioning her incessantly about it so that the harassment outweighs the benefit of having the friendships.
The list also documented the way that he deprived her of her basic needs.
It writes,
J.P. would not let her sleep,
keeping her up at night and pulling the covers off of her every single time she dozed off,
throwing her clothes on the front lawn of their home,
waking her up and screaming at her incessantly to the point that she had to leave to go to sleep in her car
just to get some peace and rest.
The next line item,
stalking and tracking her whereabouts.
J.P. hired private investigators to follow and track her and put multiple GPS tracking devices on her car.
After they separated, he would follow or find her by GPS tracker,
and then he would drive by very slowly to make sure that she saw him.
He would walk into any place that she was and he would go up to the table or the area to either make a comment or
stand afar just so she could see that he was present.
The next line item is how he
humiliated, degraded, and dehumanized her.
J.P. forced her to submit to humiliating sexual acts that disgusted and hurt her.
He would tell her that she was mentally ill and have her hospitalized against her will.
He put her down for having "ideas" or getting "inspired" by outside influences,
telling her or others that she fell for anything, that she wasn't smart.
J.P. uploaded a semi-nude photo of his wife to the internet and then later apologized in an email
and attempted to minimize the damage by stating, "It was only up for an hour."
The next line item:
Rape.
While she was hospitalized, J.P. demanded that she have sex with him while she lay in the hospital bed.
J.P. forced her to perform sexual acts against her will and demanded that she watch him in sexual acts with other people and
forced her to sit still so that others could touch her body against her will.
J.P. told her and "preached on Sunday" that if she did not
submit to his every request for sex in any manner he desired,
then it was her fault if he got his needs fulfilled by another woman or another man.
The next line item:
Spiritual abuse.
J.P. knew how much she adored and loved Jesus and the teachings in the Bible and that she wanted to be a good Christian.
So he used it against her.
When she wanted to divorce, he told her that God hates divorce and that it was a sin.
When he would do terrible, terrible things to her, he would tell her that God said that she cannot judge him,
and as a good Christian, she is to forgive him and even more so as his wife.
Another line item: Physical abuse without marks.
J.P. finger-punched her in the throat.
He held her up against the wall by her throat, slapped a drink out of her hand, and while in public together,
he snatched her plate of food from her and threw it.
And another line item: Medical abuse.
J.P. declared her bipolar, forced her to take lithium, a prescription of his own.
Monitored whether she complied with taking the pills, and forcefully gave her steroid testosterone shots in her arms, thighs, and buttocks.
J.P. would make her swallow pills in his presence, and if he thought that she did not take them,
he would cut them up and put them in her food or drink.
This of his own admission.
I mean, all of these things are horrible, each on its own, independently, is awful, and is certainly abuse.
But layering these together, and again, this isn't even awful.
This isn't even all of the list.
This is only a fraction of it.
It is awful what Micah was allegedly subjected to.
And again, I say allegedly, only because it has not been proven in a court of law.
However, she herself had confided these allegations to those closest to her.
And all the while, while Micah was struggling, literally fighting for her life while still being alive,
J.P. was there, in the pulpit, giving sermons, acting like he was holier-than-thou above everyone else,
giving sermons like these.
I will not lift a finger against, everybody say it with me, the Lord's anointed.
You know this is the boss that's ruining his life, and doing horrible things to him, and he says, "I can't touch you."
I can't touch you because you're in a position that God put you in.
That position means you have authority over me, and I am not allowed to harm you in any way.
Honor your authority.
There's no place we can go on earth where God will not put you in.
go on earth where God will not put us under some type of authority and it's there to bring humility
to our life to see how well we can obey and we will never get to the next level in life if we
can't honor the authority that God's put in our life right now and you can keep running from the
authority and go to a different job and a different this and a different that sooner or later you're
going to have to learn to honor and humble yourself under an authority you may not agree
this is really really big okay you may not agree with that authority you might not like the way
the president does things you might not like the way your boss does things you might not like the
way your husband who's head of the household does things you might not like it but that's not the
point the point is is that God allowed that person to be in that position God allowed that person to
be put in that place God called you to that authority and he expects you to obey with a
good attitude even if they're wrong you should learn how to submit and keep on going with a
good attitude when we dishonor the authority God put in our lives we're actually dishonoring God
the husband
his job is to really hear God for the direction of the household and to bring the wife into
agreement with that the wife should always honor and respect her husband now that he might not be
good in every area but he's got a position in that household he has a position that God allowed him
to be in that you chose for him to be in you chose him he's got a position there the reason a lot of
you don't have miracles in your home is because you don't honor the head of the household it was
that a lot of these sermons were about Micah and like Micah's list described she was a religious
person who loved Jesus and wanted to be a good child of God at some point Micah even started
making Facebook videos describing her situation but not as obviously as JP was doing in his sermons
and let's just do a quick comparison side by side of the way that they would talk about each other
and again I say each other very loosely since Micah wasn't saying JP's name or
putting him on blast the way that you know I wish that she had done hey everybody I just want to let
you know that I'm alive and well and um life's been kind of crazy the couple past weeks months
years I've kind of had to keep my circle really small for the past couple weeks just because um
I'm going through a lot and it's hard I just wanted to share that my my heart and my prayer
is that the church would stay strong that y'all would stick together so those were some of Micah's
videos updating her friends and family who hadn't seen her or heard from her saying that she was
okay and trying to move on with her life and here's JP's response in front of the entire congregation
you know my wife they went to Africa had a wonderful trip amazing trip and um and she came
back with the idea to start a school in Africa and six weeks ago she goes in the hospital gets
out and just leaves and she's like I'm not going to go to school I'm not going to go to school
and she leaves just completely leaves me leaves everything drains the bank account and goes guess
what while you're talking bad about me out there I'm building a school in Africa for over 100 kids
to be able to be fed I'm just doing that I'm doing the work now listen so while you're talking about
me on Facebook look up in the sky and you'll see a solid rock logo on a plane that's me going to
Miami now if for some reason you aren't convinced about the abuse that Micah experienced here's
something that might sway you JP's first wife has been pretty vocal since she was a little girl
since Micah's death she believes Micah and everything that she went through which think
about it she has every reason to not like Micah Micah was the other woman
She was the one who she treated like a daughter but was having an affair with JP.
She could blame Micah for ending her marriage or for breaking apart her family.
Of course, yes, it does take two to tango, and JP was more than willing,
but you understand what I mean.
She has no reason to advocate for Micah.
But instead of that, and instead of hating her and slandering her or not believing her,
she believes Micah.
Once, while talking about what it was like to be married to JP,
she even said,
I was married to JP for 16 years.
Although my story and what I lived through with JP was different in some ways,
many of the details shared with me by Micah are so similar to my own experiences with JP.
So much so that I know that she was being truthful.
In the ex parte court document that I read to you earlier, the snippets out of earlier,
she even wrote the things that she personally saw, saying,
On one occasion, while picking up our daughter,
I observed holes in their walls, hinges off the doors,
and pieces of paper taped to the wall with negative affirmations about Micah.
Just like psychological warfare,
it kind of reminds me a little bit of Ruby Frankie when I heard hinges off the door.
No privacy, taking doors off the hinges,
putting up horrible things, just slapping them up on every wall
so that she's constantly looking at these things, reading these things about herself,
not being able to even close a door to have a moment of privacy.
It is psychological.
It is psychological torture.
And Allie said that there were even times when Micah would call her,
needing her advice on how to escape JP.
They would even pray together, sharing this strange bond with one another
after being traumatized by the same man.
And as we know, unfortunately, Micah never got away from JP.
She filed for divorce, and two days later, she was dead.
Micah's lawyer has also been very public about the abuse that Micah was going through,
and also some of the things that she was confiding to her in just prior to her death.
Lawyers usually have a duty of confidentiality even to the grave,
but I have the permission to speak about those things through Sierra,
who's the special administrator over the estate.
So she has assumed the shoes of Micah and speaks for her.
So she's given me permission to talk about most of those things.
Some know, but basically Micah was telling me a lot of. Horrendous things.
Things that shocked my conscience, and I've been doing this for almost 20 years.
Abuse?
Yes.
What types of abuse?
Every kind that you can imagine, and even kinds that you can't imagine
as a normal, rational human being.
And to see this absolutely beautiful 20, in her 20, well she just turned 30,
but she lived all over the place.
She lived all of her 20s with this man.
And she had such a beautiful spirit and aura about her
that you immediately knew that she was. You sensed that she had a good heart, was a good woman,
and she wanted to just be the best Christian woman there ever was.
And she was having such a hard time reconciling
between what God's teachings say about forgiveness
and to pray for our enemies and so forth.
And her duty as a wife, she felt spiritually.
She struggled with these things because on one point it's God says that as a wife
I need to be supportive of my husband, I need to be obedient,
and I'm trying to do that, and at the same time God is telling me
that I need to forgive someone who's abusing me.
So she had a difficult time reconciling, you know, that where. Am I supposed to. Am I supposed to forgive my husband for abusing me,
for doing these terrible things to me?
Like I said earlier, that was just a summary of what Micah went through.
And again, if you haven't watched any of my previous episodes
or listened to them on this case, I highly recommend checking those out.
And for years, despite everything that Micah said that she was going through,
J.P. just continued living his life with seemingly no real consequences.
However, after Micah died, something changed
because suddenly. Suddenly, she wasn't the only woman whose story people were listening to now.
Okay, you all know how much I value my sleep.

So fast forward to more recently.
2025 was a rough year for JP.
On February 25th, 2025, someone with the pseudonym Jane Doe number one filed a lawsuit against him.
Against JP and also his dad, who now goes by only Wayne Miller.
The lawsuit was for negligence, gross negligence and recklessness,
civil conspiracy, assault and battery,
and violation of the South Carolina Unfair Trade Practices Act.
Now let me read this to you because it is pretty wild.
The lawsuit writes that JP and Wayne built their reputations
in the Myrtle Beach area community and beyond as men of faith.
Dedicated to spreading God's word and training future church leaders.
But this image was a lie.
Behind their religious facade, John Paul Miller and Reginald Wayne Wilson
engaged in sexual abuse and predatory conduct, often targeting minors.
They used their positions of power to manipulate and exploit vulnerable victims
while concealing their actions from the public.
And the actual incident that occurred is described in much more detail.
By 2023, JP,
Miller had positioned himself as a high-ranking pastor of a large congregation,
presenting himself as a spiritual leader while continuing to engage in predatory behavior.
In 2023, the plaintiff encountered JP Miller in person in Myrtle Beach while accompanied by a
friend. Despite being in a public setting, JP leaned into Jane Doe number one as if to hug her,
and instead shoved his hand down her pants, touching her genitals without consent.
Plaintiff immediately recoiled,
and tried to brush it off and moved his hand because she didn't think that her friend noticed,
and she was scared. About 30 minutes later, Jane Doe number one and JP had a heated argument
about him using his title of pastor and using scripture to justify sexual misconduct.
In response, JP cited scripture, telling the plaintiff,
no man is without sin and temptation. God understands that.
Plaintiff was left reeling from the encounter, experiencing a long-delayed
spot on his face. He was then told that he was a man of faith, and that he was a man of faith.
The plaintiff was then told that he was a man of faith, and that he was a man of faith.
following the more recent assault,
Jane Doe came to understand
the profound impact of the earlier abuse, as well as its connection to the psychological and
emotional struggles that she had endured throughout her life. The lawsuit goes on to say that JP
was 19 years old at the time of the assault in 1998, and that it happened at church. Now,
JP was actually employed by the church as both a youth leader and a musician. JP's dad was also
the head pastor at that same church. Now again, the woman in this lawsuit was 15 years old at the
time of the assault. So just a warning, because the details in this lawsuit, they might be triggering
for some people. The lawsuit details this assault by saying, JP called out plaintiff's name and
initiated a seemingly innocent conversation, inquiring about a mutual friend's recent absence
from church. Without warning, JP forced plaintiff inside his father's office, shutting the door
behind him.
JP immediately became aggressive, physically overpowering the plaintiff and forcing her
against the wall. Despite plaintiff's struggles and verbal pleas for him to stop, JP ignored her
and forcibly moved her out of the office, down the hallway, and to a door that led outside to
a grassy side yard of the church. That's where JP's truck was parked. JP then forced Jane Doe
number one into his truck, and that is where he raped her. I mean, the act itself,
is so vile. But the fact that it was allegedly done in a place that is supposed to be a safe
haven for people, a church, his dad's office, then right off site, the church grounds,
it's sickening. Then, the second lawsuit came right after the first on March 5th, 2025.
The plaintiff in that case is referred to as Jane Doe number two. Now this incident involving JP
and in turn, his dad, was from 1998, just one year
after the alleged incident from Jane Doe number one. Now this incident did not take place in the
church. However, it did take place somewhere that he and his dad did have control over. This time,
it was at the Cathedral Hall Academy, a school that was run by both Reginald and JP. And again,
the lawsuit describes both of these men as essentially frauds, saying, the school was run
by Pastor Wayne Miller and his son John Paul Miller, who portrayed themselves as devout men of God,
offering a faith
based education in a nurturing environment. Instead, plaintiff walked into a nightmare.
Cathedral Hall Academy was not a school, it was a trap. The suit alleges that the school was
problematic for many reasons. Apparently, there weren't any actual certified teachers, meaning
that there was no real coursework or structure to the things that these kids were supposed to be
learning about. Most of the staff was allegedly either friends, old colleagues, church members,
or friends of Reginald's.
Again, with no credentials other than knowing Reginald himself. But that wasn't even the most
problematic part. It was a place where people very easily were turned into victims. The incident
involving Jane Doe No. 2 went as follows. One morning in 1999, after chapel service,
plaintiff was asked to hold the door as students left the church building. When the last student
exited, she found herself alone with John Paul Miller, who was seated at the piano playing softly.
John Paul Miller then asked Jane Doe No. 2 if she wanted to play the piano.
At 14, Jane Doe No. 2 was trusting and saw no reason to decline. As Jane Doe No. 2 turned to
leave, J.P. pulled her into a hug. She barely had time to react before J.P.'s hands moved down her
back, past her waist, under her clothing, and touching her bare butt. And it didn't end there.
The suit continues by saying,
But instead of receiving help, she was sent to Reginald's office. When she arrived,
J.P. was already there. Reginald demanded that she repeat her accusation with his son
standing beside him. Jane Doe No. 2's voice wavered, and she told the truth.
Reginald did not ask for details. He did not care. He shouted at her,
You will not lie about my son. Then came her punishment. She was forced to write the words,
John Paul Miller, 5,000 times.
Now, I have a lot of problems with that. Number one, she goes to a trusted adult to try to tell
them what had just happened. That adult tells Reginald, who's in charge, which maybe that is
the right move. But then, before even speaking with her privately, of course it's an act of
intimidation that she enters the room and J.P. is right alongside him. Not only that, that would be
intimidating even if it was like a principle unrelated, but the fact that it was a father and
son duo, of course that's intimidating at 14 years old. Then, still having the courage to speak her
truth, they reprimand her, yell at her, say she's a liar, and force her to write 5,000 times,
I will not lie about J.P. Miller. It is awful, and it just goes to show equal bad behavior, right?
Like father, like son. Apple doesn't fall far. All the stupid analogies you want to pull out.
Now, as horrific as both of these
situations and stories are, nothing has come from it. The two lawsuits were filed in conjunction
with an affidavit that was submitted to the court as part of J.P.'s custody case against Allie.
Despite both of those suits being from over a year ago, though, J.P. has never been charged
with any type of sexual misconduct, which is infuriating. However, 2025 was a big year for
J.P. in more ways than one, not just these lawsuits. Because just months after these
two lawsuits came out, he and his now third wife, Susie Skinner, got married during a private
ceremony on the beach. Now, J.P. and Susie have ties going back years, alleging that an affair
between the two of them started back in potentially 2021. Now, given how he and Micah got together
during his first marriage, it's really no shock to imagine him getting with Susie during his
and Micah's rocky marriage as well. Then, J.P. moved to a new church, a church that he still
preaching at to this day, mind you, which I'll touch on more on that in a second here.
But on November 2nd, 2025, J.P. gave yet another sermon that has been clipped and pulled apart.
This one is a little bit different, though, because he's asking his new congregation
for prayers and help spiritually. I've been asking y'all to pray for me each week. This is a very,
very, very important week of my life. This week and the next week will be kind of almost a life
situation. And so I'm asking for 12 people in this room, 12 faithful tithers, because I want to make
sure your heart is there in the kingdom, who are willing to fast something every day this week for
me. And you can fast at television, social media, cussing, negative words, food, solid food,
whatever you, cigarettes, whatever you need to fast. But I'm asking that you fast for me this
week and that you pray out loud once in the morning and once at night, at least Psalm 7,
Psalm 56, Psalm 56. And so if 12 people could do that, because I want to know who you are,
and I'm going to ask my wife to just write down your names so I can text you during the week or
know who I can text to pray for me, or maybe even invite you over to my house this week.
So you just walk through, honey, you just walk through the aisles and just get all their names.
I want to make sure that I know, that we know. So I need you to pray out loud, out loud. I need
you to pray Psalm 56 at least. And I'm asking that you fast, because the Bible says there's
through prayer and fasting. It was almost as if JP knew something else that everyone else didn't.
Some people were actually really confused about it, but they weren't about to pry for information.
However, they didn't have to, because a little over a month later in December of 2025,
JP was indicted on federal charges of cyber-stalking and lying to police. Both of these
charges are in relation to Micah. The cyber-stalking charges allege that JP cyber-stalked Micah from
November 2022 until the very day she died. The charges also accused JP of interfering and lying
to police in October of 2024, as well as lying about how frequently he contacted Micah on March
11th, 2024, and about slashing the tires on her car. Which again, all of that is in my original
deep dive. If you have not listened, you definitely need to, because it really just goes through
everything he did to Micah that unfortunately resulted
in her taking her own life. Now, with all of this, he pleaded not guilty to all of the charges,
and he was released on a $100,000 bond. Now, it's super important to note that JP has not
been charged with anything actually pertaining to Micah's death, even though her family and
many people online believe that Micah did not take her own life. However, investigators are not
budging on her cause or manner of death. They're obviously not looking for the person who killed her,
because they don't believe that's what happened. They believe she took her own life.
Wow. Things have really changed since the last time we spoke. What's the reaction,
please, from Micah's family to these charges against John Paul?
Yes, as far as Micah's family, they have at this time want to remain private. They're not making
any public comments at this time, specifically about the charges or anything related to it at
this time. So they're maintaining their privacy. They're not making any public comments at this
time. So they're maintaining their privacy on that.
You know, fair enough. And they have hired you to represent them in a public way,
like this morning, to speak about this case. And take us back.
You knew Micah, right?
She was working with you on her divorce,
which never was finalized, right?
- Right, she had retained me to actually file
a separate maintenance and support action.
So I knew her first as a client.
And then of course, you know,
the things that we were collecting
or that she was giving to me to prepare
for that ultimate divorce action
are the things that she collected, protected,
and kept and turned over to me
that was actually ended up being used to,
I think, first of all, to get a warrant to search his house
and obviously second of all, to get this indictment.
- Now moving forward to 2026,
JP is still out on bond.
He hasn't seen his day in court yet.
And honestly, we might not be seeing that day for a while.
As amazing as it is that Micah and her case
have been so heavily publicized,
it's also going to make it very difficult
to find an impartial jury.
- Let's move on to a Netflix documentary
a lot of people are talking about
called "Death of the Pastor's Wife."
It's highlighting the tragic death of Micah Miller.
She was found dead in a state park.
It was ruled a suicide,
but there have been suspicions surrounding her husband,
who has a pastor, John Paul Miller.
He's set to return to court next month
on charges of cyber-stalking and lying to police.
What do you see happening here?
Could he be charged in her death down the line?
- Right now,
it doesn't seem to be that the feds
or even the state itself has enough evidence
to charge him with her death.
The problem that they've got right now, at least he has,
is that this is now a Netflix docu-series
that everybody in the country seems to be,
as you mentioned, talking about it, watching it.
And that makes it very difficult to find jurors
to judge his case fairly without having some bias.
Now, it can cut both ways.
It can also help him in the sense
that it gives his attorneys more voir dire,
more questioning of those jurors to make sure
that they get the exact right people they want
on that jury panel.
- If this case does go to trial
and JP does get found guilty,
he's facing up to seven years of prison
and a $250,000 fine.
However, for the time being,
JP doesn't seem all that concerned.
He's still showing up to his Sunday church services
at Mercy Church in Myrtle Beach,
not to be confused with Mercy Baptist Church
in Conway, South Carolina,
a church that has actually come to the press
begging for the backlash to stop.
- Purpose, I don't know what your goal is on earth,
but this is my goal, to fulfill my purpose.
My goal is not to make money.
My goal is not to be famous.
My goal is not to accomplish my dreams.
My goal is to fulfill the purpose that God has for me.
It is the only way I'm gonna be able to die
with a smile on my face,
knowing that I fulfilled what God had for me.
The beginning of the series started with this description.
I'm gonna read you the end scripture,
but the beginning scripture was this.
First Samuel 16:12, the Lord told Samuel,
"David will be king, arise, anoint him."
That sounds like a great purpose, right?
How many of you, if you were at career day at school,
when there were booths, there was like a T-Mobile booth,
you know, and there was a real estate booth,
and there was like an electric and plumbing booth,
and then there was the booth King over Israel,
which line would you wanna get in?
The King over Israel line, right?
That's the one I'd like to try out for this position.
Something I'd be good at.
It involves telling people what to do, check.
It involves wearing a crown on my head, I can do it.
Now how these people can sit and listen to JP every Sunday
and in good conscious believe what he's saying,
that is beyond me.
I'm not buying that they don't know about him,
his past, his reputation,
and surely have seen the Netflix doc
and that it's been gossip within the church, right?
I mean, there's also protests that are happening
every single Sunday outside of the church
that have been ongoing.
As far as Micah was concerned,
I mean, what you guys see on film, that's who she was.
It wasn't like she came to church
and put on a costume of a pastor's wife and a smile
when we would see her out in public
or drop the dogs off after grooming.
That's who Micah was.
What happened at Lumber River State Park
as far as the fishermen and what he found
and pretty much the lack of an investigation,
the circumstances at the river,
brought up a lot of questions.
With, you know, her, the ammunition,
the position of the weapon and the body and all that.
It didn't make sense.
- Justice for Micah.
- Micah's blood is on your hands.
- He's a fallen prophet.
Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
- That's a call.
You're in a call.
- I think one of the most disturbing things
about this whole deep dive
is seeing everything that this man has been accused of,
from the minors who trusted him
to the multiple women whose lives he made a living hell.
And yet the only thing that he might ever get in trouble for
is cyber-stalking and lying to the police.
There is nothing worse than a truly awful, horrific person
being able to continue on in life
with little to no repercussions.
And so far, that is what has been happening with J.P. Mays.
- That's right.
J.P. Miller.
And as much as I hate to say it,
that really might be how things end up.
I mean, look at his dad, Reginald.
His scandals go back decades.
And even though he did end up getting arrested,
I would hardly say that his day-to-day life
has truly been affected.
Same for J.P., at least for now.
What's even more unfortunate,
apparently the Miller family legacy of terrible behavior
didn't just end with J.P.
He also has an older son named Logan Mays,
Logan Hardy from a previous relationship
before his first marriage.
And there isn't much information out there
about Logan or his upbringing,
but there is one thing about him
that did become very public.
His 2024 arrest for first-degree domestic violence.
So I guess the saying is true.
The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree.
So that's where we're at at the moment
with Pastor John Paul Miller,
the con artist, the alleged sex offender, the abuser.
I mean, I could go on and on
all day long, but you get the point.
So this really was my expose
of the dirt bag, sleaze, asshat, loser,
creep, weasel, fuck face, John Paul Miller.
I hope that justice is coming for you.
Thank you so much for tuning into today's episode.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
Will he ever be held accountable?
Will he face justice?
What is going to happen?
And have you watched the documentary
and have you listened
to a terrifying deep dive on Micah's story?
Because that really is what has catapulted this monster
to the forefront.
So I will be watching this closely
and I will let you know what happens
and where we go from here.
Thank you so much for tuning in
and until the next one, stay safe.
Bye.

A true crime documentary on Netflix about Micah Miller’s death highlights her tragic story and the abusive relationship with Pastor John Paul Miller.
JP Miller has a long history of misconduct, including sexual abuse of minors, manipulation of church authority, and a pattern of fraud and exploitation.
Micah Miller, a close friend and former choir member, endured severe emotional, physical, and spiritual abuse, including forced sex, isolation, and medical coercion.
JP’s first wife, Allie, testified that she believed Micah and recognized similarities between her own experiences and Micah’s, indicating systemic abuse.
Legal actions filed in 2025 allege that JP and his father engaged in predatory behavior in church and school settings, involving minors and using religious authority to conceal abuse.
Despite the abuse, JP continued to preach and lead, while victims faced silence, fear, and dismissal, highlighting broader issues of power, faith, and accountability in religious communities.
