596. Exploring Biblical Masculinity 1 Samuel 2:11-34 Tomisin Olanrewaju 14062026
80m 20s
The sermon, part of a series on 1 Samuel, focuses on the theme of responding to God in real life, specifically exploring biblical masculinity. The reading from 1 Samuel 2 contrasts the corruption of Eli's sons—who steal offerings and commit sexual sins—with Samuel's faithful ministry. God confronts Eli for honoring his sons above God, declaring a curse that will cut short his priestly line and cause his sons to die on the same day. The speaker argues that Eli’s failure as a father, despite his role as high priest, is the root of his sons’ rebellion. In contrast, Samuel grows in favor with God and people, influenced not only by his mother Hannah’s prayers but also by his father Elkanah’s faithfulness. The sermon challenges modern listeners to see God clearly by removing spiritual “network” issues caused by sin and suffering, enabling them to love and follow Him more nearly. It warns against idolizing romance and urges both men and women to prioritize biblical character over cultural compatibility in relationships and parenting. The message calls for a return to God-centered masculinity, where fathers model devotion and integrity, shaping the next generation to honor God.

I read. "The boy ministered before the Lord under Eli the priest. Eli sons were scoundrels. They had no regard for the Lord. Now it was the practice of the priests that whenever any of the people offered a sacrifice, the priest servant would come with a three pronged fork in his hand while the meat was being boiled and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or cauldron or pot. Whatever the fork brought up, the priest would take for himself. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shilu. But even before the fatwas burned, the priest servant would come and say to the person who was sacrificing, give the priests a meat to roast. He won't accept boiled meat from you, but only raw. If the person said to him, let the fat be burned first and then take whatever you want. The servants would answer, no, hand it over now. If you don't, I'll take it by force. This sin of the young men was very great in the Lord's sight. For they were treating the Lord's offering with contempt. But Samuel was ministering before the Lord, a boy wearing a linen e-ford. Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice. Eli would bless Elkana and his wife, saying, "May the Lord give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the Lord. Then they would go home." And the Lord was gracious to Hannah. She gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord. Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. So he said to them, "Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours. Know my sons. The reports I hear spreading among the Lord's people is not good. If one person sins against another, God may mediate for the offender. But if anyone sins against the Lord, who will intercede for them? His sons, however, did not listen to their father's rebuk, for it was the Lord's will to put them to death. And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the Lord and with people. Now a man of God came to Eli and said to him, "This is what the Lord sees. Did I not clearly reveal myself to your ancestors' family when they were in Egypt on the Pharaoh? I chose your ancestor out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in my presence. I also gave your ancestors' family all the food offerings presented by the Israelites. Why do you scorn my sacrifice and offering that I prescribed for my dwelling? Why do you honor your sons more than me by fattening yourselves on the choice parts of every offering made by my people Israel? Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares, "I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever. But now the Lord declares, far be it from me. Those who honor me, I will honor. But those who despise me will be disdained. The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your priestly house so that no one in it will reach old age and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, no one in your family line will ever reach old age. Every one of you that I do not cut off from serving at my altar, I will spare only to destroy your sight and sap your strength and all your descendants will die in the prime of life. And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phineas, will be assigned to you. They will both die on the same day. This is the Word of the Lord." Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I want to give you some insight to what I'm going to be praying about. All right. There's this very, very amazing song, it's old. It says, "Day by day, dear Lord, for these three things I pray." I'm going to listen to this song. Great. To see the more clearly, to love the more dearly, to follow the more nearly day by day. And you know songs that are powerful because of sometimes the way they are just arranged. That the only way you can love God more dearly is if you see him more clearly. And if you love something you spend time with it. So, if you love me more dearly, you will do what? You will follow him more nearly. About two or three days ago, I was watching this dating show with my wife and that's what was bad. And for some reason, I couldn't see the faces of the participants very, very well. It got my point. And I could hear what they were saying. But I just kept on feeling like something was lost. You know what I'm saying? I couldn't just see them clearly. There was nothing wrong with the show. There was nothing wrong with the TV. There was nothing wrong with YouTube. The problem was my network. In the very same way, there is nothing wrong with God. He has reviewed himself in his word. The problem is your network. Bad network as a result of the reign of sin, reign of loss, suffering, betrayal, anxiety, nervousness, failures, they tend to disturb our network. So we can't see Jesus clearly. I want you to bow your heads this morning. And say Lord, clear my network. Let me see you clearly. In the name of Jesus, I mean that pray, pray, pray. Clear my network. In the name of Jesus, do you struggle to follow God? You've not seen Him. If you see Him, you will follow Him. If you see Him, you will love Him. To see the more clearly. In the name of Jesus, love the more clearly. Follow the more clearly. Open your mouth and pray. Pray with an expectation. Let's take that part again. Lord. To love the more clearly. To follow the more clearly. Be by day one more time. Just take that part. You have a lot of problems. You have a following problem. You have a sin problem. You have a devotion problem. You have an allegiance problem. It's because you have a side problem. Lord, clear my network in the mighty name of Jesus. Our Father in Heaven, we ask as one voice this morning to see you clearly this morning. Lord, take away every the distractions that we came in with, the distractions that we are meeting here.
'Di' stobawah naethwok, 'Sos' da wu kanwok gwisif fully from you, 'Fa' da' kliwah naethwok, 'In the name of Jesus.' 'Let the words of my mouth, 'The meditations of all our hearts, 'Beacetable in your sight, 'To bless us for transformation, 'And kingdom advancement, 'In Jesus' mighty name of the Lord.' 'Can I get a lot of you, man?' 'Great, great, great, love it.' 'All right, if this is your first time joining us, 'We are studying the life of Samo, 'When the book of First Samo as a Church, 'And the title of the theme of the series 'Is responding to God in real life, 'Responding to God in real life. 'And we say to Samo, 'We preach to Samo already, 'You need to go and listen to them, 'Because there are some things 'That I'm going to be saying today, 'That you need that context for. 'You understand, don't get me wrong, 'But I'm just saying, 'You need to listen to those two Samo's, 'That I've been preached already.' 'The title of today's Samo, 'Is exploring biblical, 'Masculinity. 'Exploring, don't laugh, 'Just pretend like you didn't hear what I said. 'I know, I know.' 'I know it's a risky topic, 'Very risky, some of you are like, 'A synonsense, just synonsense.' 'I know it's just, 'I run the risk of being rejected 'By both men and women.' 'Oh, you understand? 'Fortunity, I run that risk. 'But here's what I want you to do for me. 'I'm going to be saying a couple of things today. 'I promise you, 'I will try, 'And I have tried to bring them from the Bible.' 'Hello, not my opinions. 'I don't care that much. 'The Bible, however, 'has things to say. 'I'm going to be saying some things 'that are in quote extra biblical.' You know what I mean? 'It's not in the Bible, it's beyond the Bible.' For example, 'One plus one is true, 'It is true.' 'But it's not in the Bible, 'You get my point.' 'It's extra biblical, 'But I'm going to try and show 'that even if it's extra biblical things, 'they are from the Bible as well.' 'Now, 'I know I tried to do the exploring 'Biblical masculinity. 'Who am I listening to me?' 'This has implications for your womanhood.' Are you with me? One of the things that I've discovered is that as a generation, and I've said it before, we idolize romance. As a generation, when you're looking for a partner, you're not asking, will this person be a good husband and father? You're asking, will it be a good husband, period? Will this person be a good wife and mother? No, is this person going to be a good wife, period? Exploring biblical masculinities, is important for you to know if you are going to, in quote, "Pick rights." One of the greatest social experiments, as far as I'm concerned, in the past few years, is this show? Popped Balloon? Take great social experiment. Popped Balloon or Find Love? I don't know if you know it. If you don't know it, all right, don't watch it. Just YouTube. It's really interesting. I promise you a great time. I watched that thing sometimes. Again, I'm talking to him now. I'm good to talk to him now. I get what, listen. I can see that the criteria are using to judge who you want to be with. I know you will pay your past or a visit in three months for counseling. I know for sure. I know. This thing, we end in disaster. It is important that even for women, you have the firm picture of what biblical masculinity is. The fact that you agree politically, agree socially, agree financially. Doesn't make you not chopped in. The fact that you support feminist views, doesn't mean you will not slap you. It's not an opinion issue. It's a character issue. It's a hard issue. How should we pick biblical men? Even for women, you have your sons, you will have sons, you have nephews. What picture do you have in mind that you're training them to become? Or even your children, what picture do you have? Because I might have the picture and I'm going to try and show you from the text. I'm not even trained out boy based on vibes. I'm not also didn't trained out boy by just reading a lot of research. No, she had the picture. Now, men, let me need them. All right. I'm going to be saying some things today that you might not like or you might like. I want you to understand that I am not preaching over you. I am here as somebody that you want to understand. I'm home. I'm going to start to preach. This is my posture. Did you get me? This is okay. I don't talk now. All right. So, if this is your first time, why not always be dramatic, all right? We might be asking why all these drama? I'm not going to be dramatic. All right. Why all these drama? Why all these, also, these nice boys saying. If God's word is true, the drama is not enough. If what the Bible says, what we just finished reading about is true. The drama I have displayed is not enough. How does Janta Tsu offer some more end? Let me read it to you. Why do you score? So this God speaking to Eli, right? Why do you score my sacrifice and offering that I prescribe for my dwelling? Why do you honor your son's mother made by fathoming yourselves on the choice parts of every offering made by my people Israel? Therefore, the Lord, the God of Israel, the clasps. I promised that your, that members of your family would minister for me forever. Please stick with me. But now the Lord, the clasps, far be it from me. The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your priestly house. So that no one in it will reach old age. This is the word of the Lord. This, you know, sometimes you watch not only with movies or maybe you know some people. In their family, they just don't reach old age. And what we usually say is village people, you know. In this text, he's the Lord. He's the Lord crossing these people. You see, check verse 32. And you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good to be done to use the no one in your family line, will ever reach old age. Let me say to your father, "Equip, equally." This is, this is bad. This is the curse. Why all these curses? Because this is what chapter two ends. We said because of the sins of of the alphineas. And in a sense, you are correct. But God didn't address these curses to of the alphineas. Did you notice? Check verse 27. Now, your man of God came to Eli and said to him. Of the alphineas, when he once that sinned, the curse came upon Eli and his generation. Listen, again, the heart agency. "Bogod did he address them?" As far as God was concerned, the reason why these boys were like this is because of a bad father. Eli is your fault. What is ironic is that, Eli had reached the peak of his career. He was the chief, he was the eyepress. He was doing well at work. But God said, "You're a bad father." So that sounds like you. God, do you want a talk? Yes, it is good, but you are a terrible father. In fact, he was seven in church. Again, he was eyepress. He had a gist of the spirit. For those of you that like the charismatic part. When I came to pray to the Lord, and she was rejected, Eli does say one sentence to her. Eli would say, "She got up eight and went and was happy." You know what that means? When somebody is discouraged, then you can just say something. Prophetic word. It was manifested in court. This of the spirit. Yes! It was a bad father. I used to say that every time we have rebellious children, it's the result of the father or the mother. No, quite. God knows the difference. You see, the story of someone goes further. And we find out that the people of Israel demand for a king. Why? Because someone also had two sons that were rebellious and bad. We know what God didn't do. He didn't question. Why? You can have competent parents, competent men, and have bad children. Yes. But you can also have bad children because of the incompetency of the fathers. That is a dangerous place to be. It's in this darkness. This is the context. It's in this
ahtunah. The darkness that the Bible says that the boy somewhere verse 18, go to verse 18, the boy somewhere was ministering before the Lord. I want you to understand that at this point, when they brought him how old was someone went and brought him to the tabana ko. Three. He was three years old when they brought him. This is the great one was greatest question. Why wasn't he influenced by life and opening and finia. Very certain he just right then the middle. It was ministering before the Lord. He is what will understand long man, long boys, very impressionable. You know what I mean? I'm telling you a story quick story. My dad walked in Abu Jaffa, the last part of his career. He comes home every month. So it wasn't really around. I asked when I got to say, when I started attending, but now. And then we had this cousin, a young boy who came to live with us. You think it's that man that he was living with my mom and my two sisters, just woman around him. When I came back from school, I was an university then. Mommy used to lead night's devotion. I know how mother's are now. They want that he's to sleep the most. They will make you sleep sitting sit down beside them during night's devotion. So that their hands can reach you. You understand. Just lay their hands up on you to change things. So the boy was sitting down beside my mom. But wasn't sleeping. I noticed this thing, but I didn't I didn't dip it. And I thought my mom just I love it during devotion again. My mother is very serious. You know the love. God is here. You can't be laughing. She was like, what? Why? And she said, tell me. Did you notice that she is this name. It's copying everything you are doing. I did like when I crossed my lead. It crossed this lead. When I adjusted my body just to be more comfortable in case the sleep wants to hook me to. Yeah, just tell them. So I was laughing. Nothing scared me. Why? I didn't need to see anything. I was I was going to empty that time. And she was going to be me. Young boys. One thing you know about them is that they seek the approval of any older male figure around them. Again, this same show you guys very nice boy. So it was quite not. When it was younger. My mom used to be looking every time. I bought one particular. When I was at home. And I saw them. You know, you just just see them move on. I called them. I said, so my mom had been rebuking about this thing. All this was eating change. This is what I did. And then it just and you call yourself a man. I know it's bad parents. I know I'm just I wasn't a parent. So you. You both are crying. Why? All these things you dreaded the most was for me not to like him. The question is how was it that somewhere at age three. All these saw was Eli being competence man and often and Phineas devalant people. How was it that was it influenced by the men of you. We say it was Anna, you know. I'm powerful Anna, Anna, the prayer warrior, Anna that prayed and received. Anna, the one who can make vow. I don't know. Many of us don't deep deval the Anna made. She gave a child to the Lord at age three. I've ever tried to separate the mother from a child at age three. So I looked at me for you. Let me tell you a story. A story. I will together. I'm so better now. I don't know. I have a son right. Great guy. Now. About seven months after I was born. My wife got the gig in Abuja. That gig was going to be for three days. I was going to pay our one month salary. In my head. Lord, you're a provider. I said, so I will leave him for three days. I said, I didn't choose yet. The money. Again, yeah, I did. For five months, I was presenting case. I was making case. She eventually went. Thanks be to God. God is merciful. But yes, the point. You cannot separate the mother from the child is very difficult yet. Anna did it. So Anna was the courage or strong woman. Are you? I was together. I was not a naughty boy. Because of the prayers of his mother. Again, it wasn't influenced by what many of us were influenced by. It wasn't influenced by that. So you might think it's Anna, but we say no. nuagit bansatio liberalono m humanistrim s

avioror Women window Shiravan труд ayudar como Dora. The Bible wants you to understand that there is something unique about this man. The first age versus in first summer is about the economy's interaction with people. At various points, it keeps on showing up. El Kanan. What is the big deal about this person? Here's what the Bible is trying to teach us today. The barricade defaced that was around sound well-sounds that didn't make it to be influenced by the evil around him because not just the prayerfulness of Anai because the fakefulness of El Kanan as well. And I hardly. Unfortunately, I didn't hear any sound about El Kanan. El Kanan, all these things. It's fine. It's okay. We discussed El Kanan today. Now, this point I'm probably asking why did you try to teach it? Bibli Cooperantern. Because I'm just one year in. I can't advise you. Jooks apart. Honestly, I just felt like we don't know a lot of stuff on Anai. That's it. I think this part is all for mist. El Kanan. The biblical man. Every time it comes up, it's the one mistake he made to bring up. It might be penina. Like we don't hear. We don't hear. What was the good man? I'll put this caveat again. This is not all they reached to say as we observe El Kanan. This is not all they reached to say about biblical masculinity. This is your song. They are all that things. Hello, are we together? Although this is all. No, we would get no, no, this is your small. There is more. We just don't have time. And it's not really in our text. The first mark of biblical masculinity. It's also basic. It's faithfulness to the Lord. Faithfulness to the Lord. Let's read this verse three together. I don't know if I can't read it. Yolk, he? He's just women, he's just woman. Again, at these people that are supposed to love their wives as Christ love the church. But they don't know that Christ got to do a spending of time with him. Your wife spends more time with the Lord than you do. You are a community church. You can ask a do I have to come to church to prove my devotional? Do you have to go to work to prove my devotional? Just tell them now. What are you talking about? Divorce onto the Lord, mean something. I'm not just talking about Sunday service. Small group meetings, prayer meetings, prayer should go. We're going to beg you. The Bible says something said, "El kana may be vow." He used to go to tabanaku, he made the vow that this was the man of his word. He wasn't moved by feelings. I don't feel like coming to church that was stressed. No, it was a vow. No, we will go to church in this family. It is the reason why ladies listen to me. When you bring boyfriend, what are the things we ask his what church is going to? And does he say if they are regularly, does he go? He's for herself reservation. He's not for us. It's for you. It's for your safety. When I was about to get married to my wife, she said to me, she said, "Tell me. What are the assurance that you give me that you will not hurt me?" I said, "No, I will hurt you. I'm human. What are you talking about?" I would say the wrong thing. My head is not correct. I used to preach. She thought I was my legal coreto. I said, "Fuck it, that one. Here is the assurance I have for you." I said, "My head will always be correct but if my friends, once I pray with Ben, Yenka, Olaiton, Tomoa, if these guys don't correct me, cannot correct me. The higher level, I have taken Pellumi, Pastor Emmanuel, Dikin Tehmi Dayo. I said, "If those ones cannot correct me, I have Pastor Femme, Pastor Moses, Pastor Francis. If those ones cannot correct me, I have God." I said, "If God can correct me, wrong for your life. I will destroy myself and destroy you." A man who is not faithful to the Lord is a danger to himself and everybody around him. You need to understand that. Reality check. It's not a love for your wife that will keep you from destroying your marriage. Let me say it again because some of you just flew by your head. I want you head of situations where the man was caught cheating. They said, "Let's get a divorce. It starts to cry. Why? I love my wife." Yeah. He has something you don't want to hear. He does. I love his wife. He just loves himself more. Love for the wife will not keep him from destroying his home. Man, you're not all that. You need help. If the Lord doesn't help you, you are head dead towards destruction. Be faithful to the Lord. You cannot see him. If I don't even come with you, I've been here for you to see him. Don't let them beg. They don't let your wife be waiting for some day when it's come to church. Why now? Secondly, biblical masculinity, values, women, has been made in the image of God. You see, Elkana was actually very, very progressive for this time. At that time, a woman is well as valuable as a mother to children she could give but to. Sometimes even this time. But what did Elkana do? Check verse 4-5 of verse a bunch of 21. "Whenever the day came for Elkana to sacrifice, it would give portions of the midst to his wife, Penina, and to all her sons and daughters, both to Anna. He gave it double portion. Why? Because he loved her and the Lord at closed our womb." Elkana figured, "No, this one is not valuable because she can give me children. She's valuable because God says so. This is something for you to learn. Women are not valuable because they can submits to you your adult state. No, they are valuable because they've been made in the image of God. But even you old woman who is expecting a child. I said to you, "Tolumillity, because I cannot understand what you're going through. I don't. I don't." But when your identity is tied to the child bearing, is the devil that is ministering down to you? One of when we're waiting for Tula and he does my son. And the doctor told us that it's possible that we're not able to have a child except we're assisted. All of these my wife said to me, "I'm broken." She said, "How can I call myself a woman if I can't even give birth without help?" Is it devil? Because identity, your identity, is not tied to child bearing. Or it is tied to child bearing. It is tied to one child that was born 2000 years ago who lived and died for you. That is what identity is tied to. Not any baby that will be born, baby that already been born in the manger. That's what identity is tied to. Don't let the devil minister this stuff to you. He came. Heal Kana was spiritually progressive, socially progressive, so it was goals. Do you understand what I mean? I'm going to move in some people. The guy was goals. That's right. When the baby was crying, I'm not sorry. I'm missing with too many chances. That's a problem. I just. I love you. I love you. Come on. I said when Anna was crying, he came and said, "I'm not going to want to want to you." Why was he saying that? He said, "No, we knew that I'm goals." I thought, "Oh, that woman are looking for me." What's going on? I said, "I'm crying." That's what. All right, never mind. This will lead to the third theme of biblical masculinity. Biblical masculinity is not a dictatorship. It is a collaboration open to receiving feedback. First and much after eight. I was bound to say to her, "Anna, why are you whipping? Why don't you hit? Why are you downhearted?" She said, "Don't ask a woman something you're not ready to receive." That's a lie. Don't that mean more to you than ten songs? I don't know how good. It is only in a dictatorship that you don't ask for feedback because you don't care about what they think. Man, ask your wives, "Are you happy?" I don't know. She's not happy. I asked my wife this question. I said, "How am I doing?" I said, "How am I doing?" You know, father, husband, preaching. "I'm kidding. She killed me." Here's what she said. I said, "Scream of 100. Come on, you're not bad." I rolled from my wife and I was 75, 80. What did you guys call? My wife is more gracious than most of you think. She said, "60." I know. I'm not good. Now listen, listen. She said, "60." I didn't talk to her for the rest of the night. I was not angry. I was so keen. You know what? Somebody get bad grade. You want a 60s B now. How bad could it be? Here's the context. It might be missing. I asked her permission to say this. My wife didn't grow up with a good example of a father or a man. A father was abusive and manipulative. He didn't have context for a good man. For a long time, my wife's criteria was, "Don't cheat on me. Don't beat me. You're good." When she said, "60." The bow was already low. See in my head, I had 20. That was the rice call. When I said to you that I'm not coming here to stand over you and declare, I see. I've got to figure it out. Rise up. No, I haven't. I haven't.
'Bah, that's what it means to be a man. Ask her for feedback. No way you stand. Don't be lazy. Don't be, don't be coward. How am I doing? Where can I do better? Whatever it is, chest it like a man. Be better. Thought of 14. Biblical masculinity is emotionally nurturing. Did you hear what I said? That was it that we just read. And now this is the point where maybe you know, I can't I can't I did great guy, but it's not the perfect guy. Are we good? Is a great guy but it's not the perfect guy. When Anna was crying, he said, why are you crying? He said, why you know it's a, am I not that is you had the reason why she should have been crying. I was together. There was a logical reason why she should have been crying. What she was being emotional and you hear all these sayings. Men are logical. Women are what? I know I say it's not I know I'm about to critique it say to cook food confidence. Women are what? Women are emotional. My first issue with this is actually just scripture. Men are logical men are emotional. Because what you mean by that is that the problem with emotions and she's displaying that and therefore she's kind of lesser than you. Body Bible teachers is a book. You are different. Yes. But she's not lesser. There is an instance in the Bible where the Bible calls a lesser. Yes. She says, all know her as the weaker vessel. It's only physically spiritually intellectually emotionally, psychologically. But we come. I said, no, no, you just, I just been emotional. Why are you crying now? Why you crying? What you know it's in. No. Men are emotionally not children. Yes. Yes. There's been going. There is some logic to emotions. Are you with me? When they're kind of asked. Are you know what I might not want more to you than tension? It's not you could have said. Yes, you are. But you know my song. Is that no prison for us to cry? Yes. Yes. Where did you get this idea from? It's not again. They cry. Yes. But you don't. If you had the information they had, you might cry too. Now, I know is men's mental health awareness one. Don't cry that much. Don't cry. Just saying. That's me. It's not scripture. It's me. But this idea of, you know, we men are just logical people. Most crimes of passion. You know crimes of passion. It gets in point when a man walks into a room and he finds his wife. He puts on a man and he keeps both of them. That's a crime of passion. Most of them are committed by men. And yet, men, I don't want to catch the most. Who is logical now? Do you understand what I'm saying? You are emotional. As a man, you are an emotional person. If your full body loses today. Exactly. She mentioned that drop it. She said, go there. You will know it. Right? Why are you not eating? I'm just trying to. You are an emotional person. How do you explain? See, you know you exist. What are you crying about it? Saka doesn't know you exist. That's not fun. I love you. No, no, no, no, no, we want. We want. We want. We want. But I'm not saying that. I know this day when you're happy and rejoicing. It's not logical now. Is it? It's not. The whole idea that woman, the emotional, the man, uh, what is it? What's that? How do you explain when they score? I want to be by the head of home. We'll pull shits. I'm be running. Emotional person. I'm opportunity this morning. Okay. The issue many times. This is garage. I will write notes. Is that for some reason? Men, we've limited the display over negative emotions to two things. Angle of frustration. If I never, anger. If you are scared, anger. If you feel, anger. If it, anger. It doesn't make you logical. The fact that it is emotional doesn't make it illogical. It's not that woman. I emotionalize that you're not emotional about what I think they're emotional about. That's all it's just. You're emotional about the things you're emotional about. And it's okay. It's fine. Be emotionally not touring. The fact that you don't understand it and you can't feel it doesn't make it less real. I'm like, I'm looking at Jesus. Please, for me, yes. I'm a man, a man, a man, a logical have to take. You never know it's in Jesus' name. See, they were trying to know the pain with one injection. I don't like you guys. Most of them. I cry. You think it was very dignified cry. You never cut your tongue. That's why. I'm not asking you to be anything you are already are. You are emotional. I'm only asking you to be gracious when you're dealing with an eye-presenter motions. I'm just asking you to be good human being. That's all I'm saying. If you think about it well, if Elkana married Pena and they didn't have any child, eat to be cry now. Because you didn't work. Or maybe you do not eat. At this point, all the men in the house are like, "Don't be a man used to go to war." I just don't sense your sense. Be emotional. I hear you. Sounds like we're creating a weak man. I just nice. I would say no. There's an example of a weak man in this passage. His name is Elaine. Often, in the orphanage, we're sleeping with people in the Tabanaco. They were stealing meat from the offering. What's the scenario that should be stoned to death? Best scenario that should be casted out of the Tabanaco. Elaine did nothing. Elaine did nothing. Elaine was nice. Elaine was weak. Now, man, listen to me. The fact that I've said emotionally not shorting. Does it mean be weak? Men be strong. Listen. I don't know what I'm saying. Men be dangerous. What? Let me explain. You are only capable of peace when you're valent. I'm giving an example. So I have two friends. I'm just dedicated to my second boy. I'm clapping. I'm just so. It's a church. I'm just a strong guy. If you don't slap me. I don't like how you do. You said, I told you so peaceful. No, I'm not peaceful. I have sense. He will beat me. What's your system? I will mess up. Listen. So if he slaps me before you said, I will. How do you talk about it? It is if I slap or like don't. I don't like. I don't like him. It's peaceful. Why? It can beat me. He's dangerous. Hello. Weak people are not peacemaking people. You don't have strength. So we don't know what you can do. A person that is dangerous and capable of violence. Yet can be emotionally notchering. That is the peacemaker. In life was a weak man.
ganitahnah. ganitahnah. ganitahnah. ganitahnah. ganitahnah. ganitahnah. ganitahnah.
'Ahh, Ebu-lu. 'Now, there's some woman that are bad, 'Zil-wrapped bad, that's woman are bad. 'Now, it's possible, that reason why she doesn't want to settle with you. 'Is it really because it doesn't look like a calling, 'an destiny, can't be not children by what you have. 'But if you yourself, they wouldn't know what you're calling it, 'but you're not trading the path of destiny. 'How will you bring an Apesian alongside?' 'It's time for you, Azema. 'Sid down God, what would you have me be? 'What would you have me do?' 'Then create that environment. 'Second you. 'El-Kana's calling, didn't swallow up Anas' calling. 'Let me make sure you something. 'Shabta, too. 'And Shabta won't rather, 'Wrestth 2021-2003. 'Because after summer was born, 'Kana went up with all his family to offer the Anas' 'sacrifice to the Lord and to fulfill his vow. 'Anas did not go.' 'She said to Azema, 'After the boy is we, 'that we take him and present him before the Lord, 'and he will leave there always.' 'That Kana said, 'Do what seems best to you.' 'I was bound to the Lord.' 'Stay here until you have won him. 'Only when the Lord make good his word.' 'So this wasn't the weak man. 'The issue was that he has figured that this was his woman's calling. 'She was working in line with purpose, 'and he supported her.' 'This idea, where?' 'No, I'm the man. 'This is where we're going.' 'No, she was living a life for she met you now.' 'If I can imagine, 'If I have a daughter, I've trained her.' 'She now meets you, 'sodily, all the investment, 'Skata, she's not with you.' 'That's not the making sense.' 'She has a life now.' 'Yes, the Bible calls that to submit, 'but not at the expense of a destiny and call it.' 'She submitted so that you can actually 'not show that destiny and call it as well.' 'Well, yes, what needs to happen, 'you need to figure out what that thing is.' 'When you meet her, 'is that you're telling her, 'I see you like this, 'I see what you can be.' 'And you're speaking to her, 'She's out of what training her, 'She's out not showing her.' 'Notes, what the hell was this, 'was also for his son.' 'He said, 'May the Lord fulfill his word.' 'That is, there's a sense, 'in which as men, 'you need to figure out what you think 'God is calling your children too.' 'And not show them in that direction.' 'I'm going to give an example, 'and this is not pushing me up in any way.' 'I just started, so we'll see 'whether I will make sure to obliter, 'so that's just preforming, alright?' 'When the doctor told us, 'So the doctor, alright, 'you can ask for a permission, 'so I can say this. 'I have a struggle with the particular illness for a while, 'and what I meant was before I go married to her, 'a doctor called me outside and said, 'You know that the 50% chance you can't have children?' 'I said, 'I know.' 'She has had about four major surgeries in four to five years, 'and the last time we had surgery, 'they went in to treat something, 'they found something else.' 'And the doctor said, 'Guys, 'you know, we've checked our egg reserve, 'you know, is that of a 45 year old woman?' 'Alright, and so, 'you know, whatever you have to do, 'you understand. 'But you know, 'yes, actually, what he said, 'it's a comeback in like six months, 'so that we can try the assisted, 'then, you know, so we can assist you, 'come back in like six months.' One more little, 'I said she was sick, you understand? 'And we went to the hospital, 'and the doctor said she's pregnant, 'and, yeah.' (Applause) And I said, 'You know, that's real, 'that we posted on CT Church, 'but you're already taking Tokyo, 'so talking about an ungod busy. 'May I know what I did? 'I got busy.' 'She didn't understand the chance, 'just saying. 'This is her chance.' Now, the story ended. So, the younger doctor told us that, 'you know, you're pregnant, 'and then the other doctor came, 'and he kind of rebuilt the younger doctor. 'It's like, 'no, you shouldn't have said that.' And then he said, 'yeah, you know, 'if she starts bleeding in the next few weeks, 'just come back, you know, 'it's probably not a big deal, you know. Now, imagine how 'we're happy. So, what would you be, 'because you're expecting blood? 'Does your husband miss courage? 'All right. 'He went on for like a week, 'the house was dark. 'No, no, no, no, no. 'It was a dark season in the house. 'When I was praying, 'I can't forget what I own 645. 'I remember where it was, 'on that speed, you heard. 'I was praying, and I got, 'I got a witness in my spirit, 'by class song, I get my spirit. 'I don't know if you know this song, 'we dance on an empty grave, 'we dance on an empty grave, 'and I made this prayer to the Lord, 'I said, 'The grave that was 'result for my son, 'yes, I knew it was a boy. 'The grave that was reserved for my son, 'will be empty, 'because Christ's tomb is empty. 'I told God, I said, 'God, give me this boy, 'give him back to you. 'That's why we named him 'Tilu and me. 'He's God that owns him. 'Not tillu and me. So, you can profess, 'I'm sure, yourself. 'Tilu and me, for not your brothers, 'because it means, 'I belong to the Lord. 'I call the Lord, 'to profess, 'I'm consigning him 'to Lord owns him. 'Now, here's what I've done. 'It's not perfect, 'I don't really know 'where the direction is. 'But there's a call over my boy's life. 'Does that mean it's going to be a pastoral? 'I hope so. 'Yes, I hope, 'I hope so. 'Because sometimes, 'I don't understand this idea of, 'Am I a failure? 'Is pastoral in a failure? 'Why shouldn't you desire to be a pastoral? 'Why shouldn't you, 'If you're a good man, 'You'll challenge you 'If they say, 'What do you want to become a future? 'I want to be like my daddy. 'That's my goal. 'We've received professors 'concentrating him. 'I'm telling you, 'It is this profession 'that I'll be using to fight for him. 'Because the way the boy be moving, 'it's like he can go stop more and small. 'Just say, 'You like say, 'Oma, 'Oma, 'I can't see it. 'I'm a bad singer, 'I don't face like this. 'It's like this. 'Great guy. 'Tilu and I love you, 'I love you. 'Just. 'But. 'Why we say, 'Make warfare with the professors 'that I've gone for concerning you. 'If my son-part venture 'his sickness comes to him, 'what will I use to fight for him? 'He belongs to the Lord, 'do it doesn't belong to sickness. 'Get your answer. 'Kia-kia. 'As men, sit down, 'or rather go your knees 'for your children, 'God, what is this thing? 'What is this thing? 'What is this thing? 'That I can use to pray for him. 'What's that thing? 'This is a slight picture. 'It's sneak peak 'into biblical masculinity. 'This is not all there is. 'I promise you this is not all there is. 'I also didn't necessarily try to balance it 'by telling you what you do. 'One day you'll all become. 'They will give us passage, 'we'll preach. 'You know. 'Here's what I've been going all along. 'I can't find such a great man. 'There was a barricading 'over Salman's soul 'that made the difficult 'for those fake men to influence him. 'Guys, 'leave lives 'that are so impressive, 'so radical. 'Now when your boy 'or your girl gets out there, 'they can't bamboo shoot them 'with fake masculinity. 'Make it hard 'for the world 'to influence our children. 'Make it difficult. 'There is a space 'that is open 'when a man does his step 'into his calling 'in the home. 'There is a space 'that is open. 'And somebody else will feel it. 'Make it difficult. 'We have lots of men 'and women 'with serious boys and girls, 'with serious cases of that issues. 'Men are always think that 'you can also get us alone. 'Boy is too. 'Men, you are working 'around with serious 'that issues. 'Are you going to let 'this evil continue? 'Step up. 'Be emotionally not 'sharing, be violent. 'Be faithful to the Lord. 'I have such an impression. 'Do you know what's even more amazing? 'It's the someone who was three. 'It was three and it's all this thing. 'It was three. 'Don't think they can see you. 'They can see it. 'It wanted to be. 'I would assume just like his father. 'When you don't step up, 'every man here listen to me. 'There is a space 'in the spiritual and in the society. 'When you don't feel it, 'it's a great place to go. 'It's a great place to go. 'So how he was found out? What you read it? You don't go Chris.
I'm not a man. I'm not a man. Uncle Kiss. Uncle Ricky. Before the Lord get me, I got to say something quickly. I grew up empty since my daddy wasn't with me. I wasn't picky. I'll take any male figure. You stepped in at the right time. It's cause of you that they're right. You probably never knew that. I probably shouldn't have seen. My first view upon was with a bar to go. I'm really concerned about the argument. One older guy. I said to him, he said, "You should make sure that I probably shouldn't have seen. But you had barely made it out of your sins." He said, "No, not child. Mentor, not child. If you don't father your child, one senior and SS2, SS3. That doesn't know anything." He would say, "You ask who's on?" You took me on that, your wings. I want that heart. I want that girl just like you. Lean to the side when I rolled just like you. I didn't care if people didn't like you. Let's scratch the part. If you would have died, I would have died too. You went to prison. God seek, lost your property. Yeah, I cried too. You never know who's right behind you. I have a little son now. And you do whatever I do. But something deep inside you that tells you it's got to be more than doing what other guys do. They have nobody better guide you. But I followed your footsteps. And this shouldn't surprise you. You realize. You realize you. I just want to be like you. If you don't mentor him, a young boy will mentor him. Because boys would not listen to weak men. Did you know what I said? Boys would not listen to weak men. It's not attractive. All these are families. Why are they attractive? They lie songs. They didn't listen to him. You know why? He was weak. First so much after 2.29. When God told them, I don't know. Some people probably wondered about irrebooked the children now. He did what was wise. God still angry with him. He rebuked the children. You see, what the children were doing with two things. They were stealing from the sacrifices. And they were sleeping with women in the tabanaco. Read this. Why do you call my sacrifice and offering that I prescribed for my dwelling? Why do you honor your songs more than me by fatling yourselves? By fatling what? That is a lot of chop up. When those boys were snatching the thing, they would bring it home to Eli. Eli too. Do you know when Eli decided to correct them? When do they sleep with other people? Because Eli wasn't doing that. They could smell the hypocrisy. We can. I put Chris like that. We elevate what you're good at. And let us watch our weak hearts pass by. No. Be a man. Rise up. Why? Because of the curse. Eli was cursed. It was. But also statistics actually show that children or people who grew up with healthy male attachments. They are emotionally stable and psychologically stable. Even when they have mothers around them. And they just don't eat these two mothers. It just is. I can tell you my theories. But you think I'm doing my theories. But it's just what they start. They're single mothers in the church. They have to be violent and not chorrying at the same time. To children that they give back to. Here's the thing. I can tell my wife might not beat that boy. I don't know where he's lined up. You know where I'm just like. My child do not watch that. Why? No, be me. Bonham. She got torn to give back to that boy. Who we do at best if we are in the liberal room. Smot and I will call myself not stay for 12 hours. It's really hard to be man. We don't need weak men. We need strong men. We single women and women have to be fathers and mothers. At the same time should that child can stand the chance. They have to be both. Men in the house. You know those boys. You know those girls. Single mothers, the children. Why don't you walk up to the mothers. Can I take him out once a month. Can I take her out? Maybe we should leave you with a girl. Just to be safe. Women. Preferably invite the girl home to meet yourself and your husband. Let them have healthy attachments. They can be uncles. You can be uncles. You can make it their point as I'm talking to you right now. Don't procrastinate. That's the boy you need to do. Be a man. I know somebody. I will text them. If I have your full text them now. Can I take your child out? Can I take him out regularly? I know you stuff. But do it. Be a man. Because if you don't, then it's just a space there. The enemy would like to feel. Be the uncle Chris. Be the uncle Chris. Be the uncle Ricky. I don't have the answer. But be the answer. I don't know. Be the answer. Be the answer. I know what you might be saying to all of this. Even me guess, if you want to make it their father. I wasn't father. I'm no OK. Frankly, it makes us. Most of us are OK. Is this passage closed in now? First John. I can't find it. First John shops are 15. I mean John shops are 15 rather. It's kind of projected for me. John shops are 15. Jesus gives them this answer. Very true. I tell you, the son can do nothing by himself. He can only do what the son is doing. Because of the father. What? When the Bible calls God the father to the fatherless. That's the chance you have to be able to father another boy or another girl. It doesn't matter if he didn't have a good dad. You have an Heavenly Father. You know the problem is. You can't see him clearly. The reason why Jesus was a perfect example is because he could see God clearly. He said, "I will do what I see." That's how we sang that song. Many times our network is bad as men. Something has tampered with our network. Manipulative parents. A voidant that absent fathers. Or death. It has tampered with that space. But what we understand according to scripture. God is not absent. God is not a voidant. God is not dead. He is alive. And he can clear your network. And you can see him. And be a great man. Come and rise to our feet together. I want us to do something. Can you sing a come up? Yeah, it's. If you have any man around you hold his hands. Unfortunately, I'm sure there will be enough women to go around. The spinal cord point was making it. So, hold one guy. Hold one man. Hold one man. It's okay if they are then two women. Holding one man. But no man should be standing alone. You need help. You need help. Man. Our men need help. The solution to toxic masculinity is not no masculinity. It's also not weak masculinity. It's godly masculinity. Take this seriously.

The sermon explores biblical masculinity, emphasizing that Eli's failure as a father—despite his professional success—led to his sons' rebellion, while Samuel's faithfulness was shaped by both his mother Hannah's prayers and his father Elkanah's example.
The speaker highlights the need to "clear your network" to see God clearly, linking spiritual vision to loving and following God more nearly.
The message underscores that choosing a partner or raising sons requires a biblical picture of masculinity, not just cultural or romantic ideals.
