Chris Booker, and when I hear that tone, I feel like my mom's about to yell for something. - Excuse me, I ain't your mama. - Yeah, but, you know, so I had to investigate you because, you know, as an entertainment journalist myself, which I am not, I know nothing about, yeah. Well, I know nothing about anybody or anything. That's my charm of the show. Perez knows everything, and I just call bullshit, you know? So that's the show. So I had to investigate you. And I'm like, who is this girl? Like, is she shady? Is she good? What is she? So, you know, I watched a couple of your things and I was like, all right, she's great. She's clearly a broadcaster. She knows what she's doing. And then the audience started to pour in, and people were like, she's fantastic. You'll love her. And I was bored with that until I got a couple of watch, until I got a couple of watch out for that girl, because she'll click bait you. And I was like, now I'm in. - First of all, I think the only thing that saved you were getting ready to call me is see you next Tuesday. It's fine. - Never, never, never, never. - Our mutual friend Blair, who's like an unbelievable, 'cause my audience knows this, and you are still on the radio here in LA, which is huge. I love that. But our friend Blair has been a long time radio producer, and she, when I posted that, she immediately hit me up, and she's like, Chris is so cool. So I'm like, okay, I got to love Chris. And I feel like you did the same, because we have this, and Blair is like the best in the business, so, and now I have a new friend. - Blair is what I called her, but Blair, Blair is my Philadelphia producer, and she is. She's remarkable in the best. - Okay, but wait a second. So obviously we have this connection with Radio, and we were just talking offline about crossover and who we knew, but here in LA, what do you do? Give us the radio spiel. Where can we listen and what do you do? - I work at 98 seven. I have an afternoon show. It's Booker and Striker. It's an iHeart radio station. Yeah, that's it in a nutshell. That in these shows on the podcast and the Patreon with Perez, that's it. - Okay, no wait, how did you, so for anybody that's just like joining us, right? We had this exchange online, but you also are Perez Hilton's co-host on PerezHilton.com and on his podcast. And Perez has had a podcast for a hot second 'cause didn't iHeart do a deal with him? Any hat on podcasts? - Well, we started with Odyssey, and I think they were intercom back then. We've been doing our show for 10 years. Every week, twice a week. So we've got quite the, you know, trove of work, the body of work. And they, I think he signed a global deal with that company back then, where they wanted him to do a podcast and podcasting back then was like a new frontier. And they were trying to pair him with a girl. And they was just girls, girls, girls. They were throwing at him. And he just wasn't vibing with anybody. And at the time, I worked at 97. One in Los Angeles and Carson daily was our morning guy and I often filled in for Carson. So Perez would come on and Carson had zero interest in any of this, but Perez would come on with me and we would have the best time. And just the tennis was great. And he said to the company, he said, "Well, what about the fillet? "What about Booker? "What about us doing a show?" Long story short, 10 years later, here we are. - Dang, you've been co-hosting with Perez for 10 years? - 10 years, 10 years. Okay, so everyone's been following what's been going on and the family's been giving updates. We don't have to rehash what happened, but you obviously know him as a friend offline and this whole situation was so traumatic. Can you just take us back? How did you find out he was live on TikTok? - So I was sitting here doing radio work editing something and as you do, you kind of jump online and look for things to talk about and such. And I got the first, like DM. And the DM was, "Hey, check in on your boy. "I don't know what he's up to, like what's going on." Now that was the first one. And I got to tell you Sarah, if I had a dollar for every time, someone was like, "Check in on your boy online "for the stupid shit that he does." - Yeah, like that's something it would surprise. - I'd be rich, I would be filthy rich. So I literally just ignored it. I'm like, well, he's probably picked a fight with a 10 year old or something. Who knows what he's up to? So I let that go. And immediately I see a second, a third, a fifth. And I'm like, what the hell? And the next thing somebody had sent me screen grabs. And I see Perez, you know, I don't want to get to graphic, but, you know, I mean, I've never watched the video 'cause I refuse, like, yeah, it's so bad. People were telling, and I hate violence anyway, not that he was doing it, well, whatever. It was just horrific. So I'm like, hey, you don't like any of that. So I've never seen it. - Yeah, good, and don't. There's no need to fish for it. It's awful. It is out of a horror movie. And that's what I thought I was watching. And my first inclination was he loves to play with AI. And I just assumed, maybe this is AI, but I said, this isn't his speed. This isn't something even he would never do this for clicks or for attention. It made no sense. And then I saw video. And I'm very quickly realizing this is real. This is happening in real time. And so I'm on the phone. I immediately text him first, nothing, of course. And then I text his sister. And I'm like everybody else. I'm at the will of what the hell is going on. And, you know, then I get an update, like, as everybody else did, from whatever TMZ, whatever-- - Yeah, whatever it's like, we heard the conversation it was. - Yeah, and like it was pulled, but took a long time. Yeah, it was crazy. - So I was much like everybody else. Just watching, just wondering what was happening. And, you know, none of it made sense. To answer your question, none of it made sense. - It didn't, 'cause I was gonna ask you like, when did you guys do a podcast? When was the last-- - The day before. - No way, you did a podcast with him the day before that video that happened to him. And so he had, and he battled with sepsis, which people may or may not know. He had sepsis, which is awful. It is, you're lucky if you live from sepsis. And he had a couple of different surgeries from it, and he developed a blood clot, blood clots, oral that he had to deal with. So he had that going on. And in the midst of all of that, he moved. Like he just got out of the hospital, and he's like, I'm going to Miami. And I've told my audience this, like, that's when the red flag alert for me went off, because we did our show on a Monday, and the next show we did was on a Thursday, and the show started with, "Hey, I'm here in Miami, "where I live." And I'm like, "Huh?" - Yeah. - So typically he'll text with me, and we converse, we're friends, you know? And if he's got something going on behind the scenes, I always know about it. I knew nothing about this. And the behavior after the sepsis incident, to me, in some regards, was a little off. Some of his decisions and some of the things he was saying on the show even, were very out of character for him. So, look, did I see this coming though? And I know what you're saying with people, when sometimes there's just these little red flags you notice after the fact that something's happened. But at the time, you're like, well, that's strange. But you don't-- everybody kind of keeps carrying on. OK, so fast forward, obviously. Something comes out every week. The family just put up PerezHilton.com, like the latest update. And one of the things that you and I were exchanging back and forths over was-- I thought it was so particular. I have to talk about this. Whatever a week or two ago, this story came out that Perez woke up from this whole situation. Thought it was 2016 and was asking for money. OK, it's not funny, but hopefully Perez would find it funny. Yes, it is, it's funny. But I'm like, this is so specific. Like, I got on the port. Like, who has someone fed this to Daily Mail? But the family put out the statement. They call bullshit. They say it's absolutely not true. So do you think it's not true? I know it's not true for certain. I mean, I've talked about. It's not true. Here's what look. Here's what's happened. And this is my role on our show. As we do on these shows, we get reports. And I don't blame anybody for reporting the reports. It's what we do. And oftentimes, it's fun. It's fun. It's, you know, it passes the time. It's arbitrary. Most of the time. It's not hurtful. And that's fun for me to, you know, for anyone to sit and hear some of these stories this celebrity did what? Like, no, they didn't. And precisely that is my role on the show. I'm the guy that raises my hand and says, this is bullshit. Okay. Like, sources, this whole source word has infiltrated our society in a way. And I feel like I'm about to climb up onto the soapbox, but it's ridiculous. It sources should be cited in anything that's serious. It just should be. It shouldn't be that somebody said something and that person turns into a source that doesn't make anything the truth. And on our show, I'm the person that often points that out. I'm like, Perez, this is ridiculous. You know it's ridiculous. Everybody knows it's ridiculous. It's not true. Here's what probably happened. Here's the rub with the publicist and what they're trying to feed us. And that's the fun stuff for me. So this story is something, and I said this yesterday on our show. This is a story that we, of course, would have reported on if it was somebody else and not Perez. And we would have done it as, you know, as tactfully as we possibly could. But I would have been the guy with the hand up in the air raising it going. This is bullshit. Okay. You mean to tell me that one of his close friends, he hasn't talked to anybody. He hasn't talked to the press. He hasn't talked to anybody. He hasn't done his Oprah Winfrey reveal. You mean to tell me that one of his friends picked up the phone called TMZ and said he thinks it's 2006 and he wants to talk to Katie Perry. That's ludicrous. It's insane. I don't think it's funny though. Yeah. Well, it is. I mean, it is, you know, if Perez, Perez's relationship with celebrities, and Katie Perry in general, and I talked about this yesterday, too, that he has said, quote, we're not friends. We're not friends. We're acquaintances. We're friendly acquaintances, but I think a lot of these friends or people from that time, you know, they were all in their 20s. They ran in the same circles. You knew one another, the internet and what he did was in its infancy. Everybody could see the power of it. Even Perez. No one knew the power of even what Perez had back then. He didn't know. I know. Yeah. It was huge. You know, just dick it around online and drawing dicks on people's faces was funny. And I think everybody else thought it was funny and we did in 2009, we did right. And you know, everybody wants to look at the world through those today's lens and in the woke world lens. And it's patently unfair. It just is because I like to remind everyone. It was the number one website in the world. Everyone was on it. You were on it. You know, so these judge met the people like have to have out there. He down, whatever, he drew some dicks on some faces, you know, and half of the things that are reported aren't even true. You know, some of the stories that I've read that he supposedly did are just erroneous. But source says or people's recollection, you know, it's not my role either to defend him or that time or he's a poet that it's right, right? It's his story, not mine, but I just tell people my role on the show is I'm the bullshit guy. If he's dishing bullshit, I'm the first guy to say, this is stupid. That's my role. So it is what it is. Okay. Blink twice. Did he try to cut off his dick? Because Rob Shooter has reported. Wow. Well, Rob Shooter, Rob Shooter has reported that I don't know who that is. You can say Jesus Christ reported it that I haven't met either one of them. We don't know mine, just had they just posted today that he did that, you know, look, the guy was in a manic state and I know he was nude and I know he had knives and I know there were multiple cuts just because I saw, I mean, it looked like Kerry. It looked like that. That's what he looked like. So if that part of the video was there, here's the thing. It was aired and I think because of the internet and how shitty it is, you could probably find it. So maybe he did the digging and looked and saw that or noticed that. I don't know. I haven't looked. But, you know, if it's true, that it's true, but, you know, this is a guy in a in a manic state. So maybe I don't know. Okay. So you were, I think the only person that's actually, I know, I know his sister, Barbara, like I think they talked to page six a couple of times because they were like, look, we have to just put out these rumors that are out there that are completely not true. But I think you're the only one that's had an interview with his brother in law, brother in law. Yeah. Yeah. Like on air podcast radio. Okay. So how are they doing? I mean, it seems like they pop up and give updates when there's just these ludicrous rumors, but is it, how's it going? Well, you know, the, the first thing I addressed was that like, what's going on? And I think everyone thinks that they're maybe farther, further along in his recovery. The initial, like, when I spoke with them, they were still dealing with his injuries. The broken bones that he broke his clavicle or something, he may, maybe fell down in the video. So I don't think at that point, even at the interview, Tom, it told me it didn't sound like we'd even neared the bridge of, hey, let's delve into the mental side of what's going on there. Like I, I, you read this stuff and you're like, okay, that makes sense with that. And I could, I could see that. But as Tom told me, he said, look, even if it was that, there's no, there's no like test you do to say, you know, put your tongue here and give us some saliva and we can definitely put a stamp on it and say, this is sepsis related. It's a good theory, but they don't know. And they probably never will know. So I think it's through whatever process he's going through now with psychiatrists or whomever, whatever. I seriously do not know. I have no insight on any of that. I know it's happening because he isn't a facility where they're dealing with his state of mind and his, you know, his mental state in general. So that's where he is. And I, I don't think we're far enough down the line to have answers to anything that had happened and why it happened. So Tom said when, when you guys did your interview and the statement they just put out that he is awake and coherent. Yes. Yeah. And he knows it's 2026. Oh, yeah. No, no. He's Perez's Perez. He's, he's not, um, okay, so he's not out of it. When you say that, okay, he's still the same person. He's not, it's not this, he's not in some state of delusion. He's not in 2008 as the reports have said and he thinks he's still friends with, it's No, he's he's calm isn't he's yes current. He's aware of what happened. I don't know if he has much recollection of what happened. I don't know if that's once again, this is Dr. Shit. I don't know if like you're in shock when that happens. If it's sort of a state of shock, I don't know. I have no idea. And I think there were a lot of my understanding is that there was a lot of maybe, you know, things he was taking because of the medication from the sepsis and the move and, you know, he did mention, and this is not breaking news. He did mention on our show that he was in therapy. My guess is maybe he was prescribed something who knows if you mix this with that, you've created a time bomb and something like this happens. It's happened. It happened. A Phil Hartman's and his wife and, you know, killing him and this there's a litany of a mountain of people that this has happened to when, you know, drugs are mixed. And once again, I'm not saying that's what it is. I'm just, you know, hypothetically, it makes sense. I think, look, when there's something this big and that live in front of everybody, it is and Perez, I think would appreciate this. People are now going to speculate a lot of things. I mean, it was just so front and center for people and so viral, right? And people are going to keep asking myself included because I met Perez. I mean, I've met Perez. He's been on my podcast like, he is this cultural icon, whether you love him or hate him. And it's like, I mean, where are you at? Do you think he will ever as your as your friend and podcast co-host? Do you think he will ever be back? Because I just have this feeling, Chris, like, you won't. I don't know. I'm with you. I don't know, but this is what he does. This is his job. This is his business. Being Perez Hilton is his business. And he likes it. I think that what I think all this is is somebody biting off more than they can chew. I think we're raising three kids and the money and the need for it and the moving and the surgeries and the end the end the end the end the and I think that's all this is. And once again, I'll crawl up on the soapbox again. I blame the internet and I know that's a really arbitrary thing to almost say, but it's toxic. The people in it and the things that are said people would not say to that people to people walking down the street if they met them. It is a it's an ugly, horrible place that, you know, you see these laws that are being passed and we're in the infancy of that. And there will be more because this isn't it's not this isn't the real world. These this isn't how people communicate in the real world to one another. This is some weird box where people can act as a son on as they want and there's no precautions and people may become emboldened by it. And it's quite frankly, it's scary. I mean, it's leaked into politics. It's leaked into our environment. It's, you know, it's scary. And I think when you say that. Okay, but when you say that, what does that specifically mean when it comes to Perez? Do you think Perez, like the negativity prior to this incident, had become too much for him or you saying, since you've been so sick and by people basically being like, we wish he succeeded. No, I think it's I think it's just the long-term mental erosion of being online and participating day after day in something that is that I've said a billion times is not real. This is not real. This is not real life. Real life's behind me. It's out that door, out that window. This is not real. This is fodder and fun that has turned into something else that's quite frankly not that fun anymore. You know, and it's gotten real ugly inside of this internet box. And I think the culmination of all that time and and being surrounded by all of that negativity, I think would wear on any human being. And I think Perez out of most human beings is pretty bulletproof. You know, we've talked about his passing and what it happens. And he is so cognizant of the fact that no matter how many times he's apologized or has moved on from that time of his life, that people will cheer when he dies. And he's literally said that 20 times on our show. He knows that he is disliked and every time somebody comes at him about it, he sits there and he listens and then he apologizes once again and says, you know, that was 20 years ago. I don't know how else to apologize for this. So once again, I'm not taking his side, the internet side. If that's your perspective and you don't like a person and you don't want to follow them, I always say the same thing. Don't. No one's forcing you to follow anyone or even participate. And here's the headline, nobody fucking asked you. Okay. Like people on the other side, I'm not asking you. I'm not asking anyone to participate and give me your opinion. If you want to listen to mine, great. If you don't, great. I mean, it doesn't matter. I'm always like, I can't wait to get canceled again. It's like, awesome. Great. I won't have a podcast and I can hang out with my kids all day terrific. I'm great. Cool. I've been canceled a couple times, but great. Nice. Good to you. Congratulations. I try to stay away from the cancellation bubble. I think a lot of it, but I think a lot of it has to do with the, um, the visual aspect of this. You know, I don't do a lot of this. And Perez and I don't do the visual portion of the podcast. Um, I cherish what anonymity that I do have. You do really? Oh, yes. Even though that I'm on the radio, even though I feel that I have a very, I think I have a very healthy relationship with social media and what it's for and an understanding of how to use it and what it means to me. And I'm protective of that. You know, I don't, my life, my everything is not flashed out there. And I think the visual of that, I think that's when the jealousy starts, when somebody starts getting famous, when you're just this random, you're a radio person, when you're just this random voice, you're almost a friend and someone's head. Oh, yeah, people love you on the radio. Yeah. Yeah. Because you, you can create any sort of magic in their mind of who you are and how they perceive you and when you introduce this video element, something happens. Um, I think this will be all of this will be studied decades from now. We're the first generation. We're the guinea pigs for this, for the idiot box. We really are. And, you know, super power. I went to see my doctor and it was a random checkup. And this really attractive girl, like leaves the office and I'm like, Oh, she walked out. This is, you know, this is LA. We trip over attractive people here. Yeah. Oh, Jesus Christ. I know you're good looking. This hot woman. She walks out. Young lady. Let's put her at 35. So and at the time, I'm probably 35. So maybe closer to 40. She is. So like I said, super beautiful woman. And I see my doctor and you know, I've known my doctor for years. And I'm like, a tough job you got here. And he goes, he just kind of shakes his head because another depressed girl in Los Angeles. And I, you know, of course, I have to inquire. What do you mean? He goes, you know, all these girls, they come in and they are trying to, you know, unravel in their mind, the fact that they're, or they're unraveling in their mind because they can't, I get that they're not 23 anymore. And they're not the hottest girl in the club anymore. And they're not getting every piece of attention all of the time. And there's a depression that's happening because of it. And he's like, I see it every day. And I'm like, it's awesome to have been like, just okay, looking my whole life. I've never had that really good. You're like a 10 for radio. Have you seen like the radio guy? I mean, you can't, you're like a Ryan Seacrest. I'm like, you and Ryan are like the hottest. I'm trying to think of who else was hot. Most radio guys, it's like they have a face for radio. That was always our famous saying. - Well, I've said it's hit the wall, but I'm just saying, I can't imagine being-- - Not even close. - Saw it after by the public. And I think, you know, when you are that beautiful like this young woman was, I'm still thinking, wow, this is probably the prettiest girl I'm going to see all day long. And this is someone that left an office. And I'm like, your worth has not tied to your face or anything, and on top of it, you're still beautiful. - Like you're so gorgeous, you don't even know. And isn't that the saddest situation to be in when you don't even realize how great life is and you're so hot up in something that you'll never win? 'Cause father time is unbeat. Guess what, we're all going to be grown up. - Yes, undefeated, undefeated. - And that is my point with this internet and Instagram. It's, I think it's going to be, like I said, it'll be studied and the damage that it's doing to young women especially. Men is a whole other conversation. And it's a different conversation. But, you know, what I see women doing and how I see how women have changed being an old guy over the course of the past 30 years maybe is night and day. And the self-worth and the value and the, everybody does the same thing and individualism is dead and we all have to wear the same goddamn clothes and the same style and have the same face that almost looks robotic and the same makeup, it's odd. It's odd for someone that's getting older to see that when, I don't know, I just feel like there's so many options and I don't know. The internet should have set us free. It's done the opposite is my opinion. - Okay, honey. - And it all ties back into Perez and I think all of that is just a microcosm of what's happening. - This is beautifully poetic. People have to understand, you know, we had a podcast for 10 years, twice a week. - You have to hurry, yes. - So I didn't know, I'm like, well, are we done? Like, is that it? Is, are we not doing a podcast? So even when it came to putting out a statement or talking about it, I'm on the radio every day. I have to say something. I have to, people are asking me TMZ to us magazine to other publication in every country's hitting me, asking me like, what do you know? What do you, and I'm like, first of all, I don't know anybody in answer. Number one, but number two, I do owe our audience an answer. And I do need to tell them because they have listened for such a long time. I want to say something and I didn't know what to say. And it wasn't until I spoke with Barbie and Tom that they were like, oh, no, no. This, Perez is going to want to continue this. This is, you know, he still has kids to feed. This is part of the revenue, you know, yes, please, if you could keep this going, do so. So that was a weight lifted off of me. I was like, okay, now I could at least talk. Now I could at least feel okay about talking because I always default to, it's no one's fucking business. That's what's going on with him. And I don't know, I'm not even going to ask. I'm his friend and I'm not going to ask when they're ready to talk, they'll tell me. So when it came about, that's sort of how it came about. Like, we need to address a few things because the few things just keep piling up. And to your point, you got people out there saying, he's asking for Katie Perry and all this other. It's like, it's just wasn't true. Yeah, his body is covered in gauze. And he doesn't know what day it is. And, well, and there's the, you know, I know, I know Perez probably better than anybody because you, as you know, when you sit in a room with someone or you talk to someone for an hour, two hours straight, a couple of times a week, at some point, you've talked about everything in the world. You, you know, that person. So I can always hear and always know what he's thinking in, in my head. I, I know his opinion on things. And he's always like, talk about it, talk about it. It's, I'm an open book. Let's, you know, you can say things. So that makes up a little easier for me knowing that that's what he would do. That's how he would handle things. At least I'm privy to knowing that about him, I guess. You and I live in Hollywood. You've lived here longer than I have. Do you think Hollywood is demonic? That's the other big thing. He's possessed. It's demonic. What's your take on Hollywood? I think Hollywood is what you make it. And I think that's the easiest answer to that question. I think if you're looking to do demonic things, you can find it. I think if, I think the need for hunger and acceptance is very prevalent here. And I think people are very willing to do anything and say anything to get that. It's almost like chocolate to get that, that endorphin rush from that bite of that chocolate. They think that the solution is there with this fame. So that plays into the maybe the demonic thing you're saying, because that, I think that idea is rather evil. It's, it's, it's, fame solves nothing. There's probably more problems wrapped up in fame. And I, I guess I'm lucky that I figured that out many, many years ago. You know, I worked for entertainment tonight. I, you know, I've got my own back story of, you know, you know, I dated JLo sister. A lot of people know that and, you know, having a front row seat to Ben and Jen. That was the most, if anything, if I wanted, if there was something I wanted to do, looking at how ugly that was from the cheap seats in the back seat, I was never more turned off by Hollywood or what it could be than watching that thing fall apart or eat itself. I was, I was like, I'm good. I'm, I love being on the radio. I'm going to, I'm going to really focus on being on the radio, because I don't want to chase that anymore. Whatever that is, I'm not into that. Yeah. Okay. Last question. Yeah. People believe that Perez, part of this too, was he sort of, you know, he's, he's been Perez for the past like 10 years, but he's never achieved the same height and fame that he had in 2010, 2009, right? But he did sort of become back as the Perez Hilton a little bit that we knew, the new version, the kinder one, with all this Blake Lively stuff. Do you think that pop of clicks and money and attention to all's podcasts, like do you think that played into this? Um, I guess that's an interesting take. I, I think people don't understand how hard that was on him. I thought it was super important to bring this up before we go any further. And he's, you know, he's done a lot of TV shows. He's, you know, requested for a lot of things. He's constantly working. He's, you know, I, I think Perez is always like, I got to finish this and then get to the next thing and to the next thing. So I, I don't, I wouldn't, I don't want to blame that situation on this. I, if anything, he likes attention. And, you know, I know how taxing that was on him mentally, but at the end of the day, all of the clicks and the pay for that, he enjoys. So he, look, he's seasoned at this. He's, I always say he's bulletproof. Sometimes he would get in it with things you and I would probably crumble. We would be like, Oh, God, yeah. I can't, I can't, I can't take this heat. And I, I didn't know how he would do it. Sometimes he's like, Oh, fuck it. I don't care. I've, I've been through worse. You know, it's just like, so no, I, I, I just think everything's a culmination of a lot of things. Okay. Wait, final, final question. Um, do you have any other news? Any other news inside? Uh, so then I just started blaming him for the picture that, uh, people magazine used of me, I looked like a fucking convict. Like I asked, no, don't, it's just why did I even say the publication? It is Sarah. It is, I look, you said to the audience that I'm, I'm, I'm okay. You're a good looking guy. First of all, you're actually good looking outside of radio, but in radio, you're 10. Like honestly, you could go through. We won because this is a positive podcast, but we could go through everybody we knew all the men in radio of 20. Do you remember in Florida, all the Florida jocks? Oh, my god. Those guys would still get laid all the time. Really? Yeah. Wow. Oh my god. Those are stories for another show. I would like to be on that show. Oh, no, but I just looked like a convict. So I had, uh, I had mentioned that to Perez and my letter, but also in my letter, I did. Is that the one? Oh, they did. They kind of picked a fat photo of you. Yeah. And I'm like, I don't even, I don't even know how, I don't even think I was ever that fat. Even I, I, I feel like they photoshopped that, that had me. Oh my god. They really did. They picked the one like you double chin. You look like you're walking out of some nightclub. Oh my god. They really did you, and that's in that, and I'm glad you said that. That is another thing. I don't even know where that picture's from. I'm not like someone that people are taking paparazzi shots of. And that's not any picture that's on my social media. It's not anything. My web, my radio station would put on their website. So I don't even know what it's from. Like, where did they find this filth? Look at that. It's so bad. Tell people I'm better looking than that. I mean, what are you better looking than that? It is really. I mean, maybe I put on five pounds there, but I, you know, my weight fluctuates about 10 pounds. That's about it. You know, so I, I don't know where they got that, but I think that I'm serious. I say, I think somebody a eyed me on that one. I don't even know that outfit. That is good. Yeah, that doesn't. But anyhow, I wrote, I wrote, look at that. That's awful. I wrote him about that. So I, I knew he would find that comical, but I did also talk a bit about the outpouring of love that, you know, has come his way. You know, I was dying to tell him about all the hate things and the things, you know, that he's always talked about before so we could make fun of it, but we're not there yet. But we'll get, I'm praying we get there so we can have some fun with this. I don't know how, but I know us, I know we'll find the funny in this someday. So they are kind of going to select friends. Sounds like they're not like asking the public. Sounds like they just want some select friends to write these handwritten notes. I don't think they've asked Katie Perry either. And I'm sure they're terrified. They don't know what's happening. It's so hard. I can't imagine that part. And only you could talk on that. I can just tell you they're great kids. He loves them to death. He, you know, he is so present in their life. And that I, you're a mom, you would know, this must torture him not to be with them or be around them at this time. I, I know that's got to be all the other stuff in his mind. I'm sure it's like, mush, he doesn't care. It's the kids I know he's thinking about. That's it. I know it. When traumatic things happen when you're a child, like I lost my dad who died when I was 14 of cancer, it's just like, it forces you to grow up. And I think that's like the hard part for them is this experience is going to change them. It doesn't mean they're not going to be close to their dad and they're all going to get back as a family unit, but it's going to force them to probably grow up a lot quicker. And that's just really, it's hard when you look back and you're older and you're like, oh, having to deal with that emotionally. And then there's this heightened, nobody knew who I was when my dad was passing away. But they're, you know, now the internet knows, like they have to go out every day as they get older and hear it. It's just, it's a lot for them to process. And that's the part that breaks my heart and where I don't want people to wish Perez on well because the bottom line is he is a dad. Yes, he's a son, but his mother is a grown woman, his sister's grown, like, but those little precious babies, like they need him. And it's just like people need to put everything else aside.
