Evil Is The Root Of All Entertainment | Vile And Horrendous Episode 7 | Joe DeRosa

The host of Violin Arendis reflects on his personal struggles with smoking, framing addiction as a paradox of both resentment and enduring habit. He retracts a harsh critique of the *Mandalorian* movie experience after discovering that *Masters of the Universe* was a genuinely enjoyable, well-made film, which challenges his earlier belief that Hollywood has completely failed. He praises the movie’s strong narrative, character depth, and balance of spectacle and substance, despite its high budget and poor box office performance. The host then delivers a provocative argument that "evil" is essential to creativity and emotional intensity, citing music, food, sports, and entertainment as examples where boldness and risk generate authentic excitement. He contrasts this with modern sensitivity-driven filmmaking, which he believes has led to bland, uninspired content. The segment also touches on broader cultural issues: rising air travel costs, a controversial university president’s anti-suicide remarks, a woman banned from casinos for life who won a jackpot, and a viral photo resurfacing involving a teenage guy with an upside-down cross and a swastika, which the host dismisses as a minor, drunk-era misstep rather than a sign of racism. The episode concludes with a lighthearted segment on personal anecdotes, including a man’s drunken bar antics and a comedic reprimand of "villains" in the past. The host ends with a call to action and tour dates, emphasizing personal empowerment over societal despair, while wrapping the show with a darkly humorous observation on the crumbling mental health of white women in America. Throughout, the tone balances satire with genuine critique, highlighting both systemic failures and moments of unexpected joy.

(upbeat music) - Let's get right into it today. The, I'm in a mood, I can't talk about it on camera. Oh, I'm in a mood. Hey folks, welcome to Violin Arendis. I'm your host, the Violin Arendis. This is episode, what, seven? - Yeah. - Yeah, episode seven. How did we get this far? Only 3,000 more to go before we can stop. Uh, I think part of why I'm in a mood is I'm trying to quit smoking and, I hate it, I hate it. I hate smoking and I hate quitting smoking. It's, that's, I guess that's the, I guess that's the nature of the addiction, right? Is you wanna quit, so you resent the habit, but then quitting sucks, so you hate the quitting. And I smoke just enough that it makes me feel like crap, but not enough that it makes me feel like I need to quit. Does that make sense? Like, I, like on a bad, like on a good day, I'll smoke no cigarettes, I'll smoke none. I'll go two days sometimes, sometimes three days, no cigarettes. But then on a bad day, I'll smoke like 10, and on an average day, I'll smoke like four. So I don't know, I asked my doctor, he was like, no, it's bad no matter how much you do it. Which seems like bullshit, doesn't it? Doesn't it seem like bullshit that, if you do it less than a guy that smokes two packs a day, it's still that bad, they're right down there. Fuck. I'm not ready to let go. I'm gonna try and relax everybody. I'll try not, also try not to eat a beef stick. God, people wouldn't shut the fuck up about that. You know, chewing on cameras and knowing, yeah. You know what's more annoying? Comments like that. Anyway, all right, all right. Let's not be pissy the whole episode. There's actually some positive stuff happening today on the show. And right off the bat, let's start where I turn the barrel of the weapon on myself. We're gonna go right into retractions. (buzzer) So, two episodes ago, I talked about the terribly shitty time I had going to the movies to see the Mandalorian and Grogu. And I talked about how the movie sucked and how the movie theater experienced sucked and how AI needs to destroy an already dead Hollywood. Well, I've got a retraction. This sentence that I'm about to say is loaded with stuff that I can't believe I'm about to say. All right, here it goes. I went back to the movie theater last week and I saw Masters of the Universe. And I loved it. There's three things in that sentence I can't believe I just said. Went back to the movie theater, saw Masters of the Universe, loved it. I thought for sure, I thought for sure after my Mandalorian fiasco, the whole experience of this was gonna suck. Not just the movie, but going to the theater, all of it, right? In fact, I even was talking to my friend Kyle on the phone. I was sitting in the parking lot 'cause I got there too early and I had to kill 10 minutes. And I was talking to my friend Kyle on the phone and I said, "This is gonna suck today. This is gonna suck. Why am I doing this to myself?" So you might be at home, the viewer, the listener. You might be quite justifiably wondering, "Jo, if you thought it was gonna suck, why did you go then?" Well, that's like asking me why I still drink despite the hangovers or why do I still eat fast food despite that it gives me gut ravishing shit cramps. People torture his life, life is pain, God is dead, and we all suffer. Do you understand? This is the way, all right? Anyway, listen, here's my point. Back to the movie theater and my why I'm retracting. Okay, today. Okay, so I complained two weeks ago that going to the movies, it's become and just an unredeemable experience. It's the bank account breaking popcorn prices and audience members talking throughout the movie and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and also the Hollywood is just completely done for with this completely contrived, all fake crap they're putting on screen with no people and everything. So, after seeing Masters of the Universe, I am here to say today that perhaps Hollywood is not completely dead yet. They managed to make a solid summer popcorn flick out of he-man and also my hats off to regal cinemas for not playing any commercials before the film 'cause that was one of the things that I really bitched about was the amount of commercials they were playing at the movie theater. Also, this is just what it is. Look, movie theaters were always price gouging. I mean, I remember when I was a little kid, my parents complaining about the prices but I realized something after seeing this movie. The price gouging is way more palatable when the film is enjoyable. Also, the film is enjoyable when the people watching it tend to shut the fuck up or at least more enjoyable, okay? Actually, let me rephrase that. When the film is enjoyable, the people watching it tend to shut the fuck up. That's what I'm trying to say, okay? So, I'll say it all again. Price gouging, a lot more palatable when you're enjoying the movie and when the movie is enjoyable, the people don't seem to be talking quite as much. Now, second segment of the show today, I'm talking all about masters of the universe. Here is my debut of masters of the universe. (audience applauds) Masters of the universe. This is a fantastic movie featuring fantastic characters in fantastic settings, dealing with fantastic scenarios, yet it all remains magically anchored by a solid script, a story with stakes, and a cast of characters that despite their wielding magic and laser guns make logical sense. The women are strong. The men are strong. The villains are rotten. The heroes are honorable. It's pretty simple tail-telling that doesn't needlessly undercut a well-established franchise and mythology by trying to reinvent the wheel about why good clashes with evil. It doesn't ask us to feel sorry for the bad guys. It doesn't force us to dislike the good guys. Sure, there's plenty of CGI. How couldn't there be given this property? But there's also plenty of real people bringing real depth to a spectacularly unreal story. It's not perfect, but at the end of the day, it's fun, and that's what matters most about a movie like this. Masters of the universe is, in my opinion, a masterclass in big budget popcorn filmmaking. It has the power. But for every retraction, there must be a pro-traction. That's the name of this segment, right? Pro-tractions? Yes. Okay, I couldn't rematch it. When I was making my notes, I was like, I think it's called pro-tractions. Too lazy to look it up on my own computer. It's right over your shoulder, too. (phone ringing) Here's the butt. This is the pro-traction, and this supports what I was saying about Hollywood and why it still sucks. I like this movie, okay? But it had a budget of between 170 million and 200 million dollars. I find that odd that Hollywood is doing that more and more now. They're not telling you the exact budget anymore. They're going, "Ah, it's between this." They know exactly to the penny what they spent on that goddamn movie. The fact that they're not telling us means they're trying to, kind of, in my opinion, kind of cover their ass. Like, well, if it bombs, hopefully they think it was 170 million. I honestly don't know why they're telling us the budgets of these movies anyway. I mean, everybody lies anymore, you know? Like, none of the streamers show their numbers or they just claim things without showing any proof or anything. Why is Hollywood even telling us the budgets of what they're spending? Why do I say, "Ah, I'm asking the universe, believe it or not, we did it for 25 million." You go, "Oh, great, good for you guys." Anyway, here's my point. They did tell us the budget. It was between 170 and 200 million dollars. That's a lot of money. And so far it has made roughly $60 million. at the box office. It is already being called one of the biggest bombs of 2026 as is Mandalorian and Grogu. Meanwhile, meanwhile, let's talk about back rooms and obsession. Back rooms, $10 million budget. Guys, I can't believe back rooms was a $10 million. I didn't see it. But as far as I can tell, it's a guy walking around an office building and there's a lamp. I don't know what the fuck cost $10 million. I guess they built the giant office building atmosphere. I don't mean, I don't know, I guess maybe that's where the time is. I guess every room looks the same. It's not the whole thing. It's vast and endless. Yeah, anyway, whenever $10 million budget, it made $126 million so far. Obsession, obsession, $750,000 budget. It is made $229 million. Even scary movie, which for all intents and purposes was a sort of traditional big studio release, $30 million budget. It's made $19 million as of today. Hollywood, for once, listen to the audience. People clearly want movies that rely on a script, a director, and a cast of real people. Little to no special effects. Smaller budgets, human film making. As much as I'd like to see a sequel to Massage of the Universe, I really do. I really do. I don't want to see it if it means we'll get less from the Curry Barkers and Kane Parsons and Will Stutix and Wayne's brothers of the world. So if that means Hollywood needs to leave the $200 million event filmmaking to Google Vio, an engine that can get it done for five bucks. So they stop hemorrhaging money and use all that save cash to let the young traditional filmmakers create even more good stuff than I say, "Hey, how you doing, Google Vio? Welcome to Hollywood. Try not to form too bad of a co-cabit and keep your hands off the kids. You should have a bright future." Folks, I'd like to welcome our first ever sponsor to the Vio and horrendous show, Mars Men. I'm excited about this because if you have watched this show at all, you know that I like to sometimes lament about my shapely figure and I'm gonna be honest with you. Once in a while I am the guy wearing his shirt in the pool, not just next to it. And I'm doing my best to try to get this borderline dad bod into shape. As men get older, our bodies, they naturally, they reprogram themselves to store more fat and lose muscle much more quickly. And then your testosterone levels, they begin to drop. That's kind of what causes this whole process, okay? And that's where Mars Men comes in. It's a natural supplement designed to support healthy testosterone levels, which can help your body burn fat more efficiently and it can help build lean muscle. When your hormones are working the way they should and they should be working the way they should because they're your hormones. They're not their hormones, they're yours. When they're working the right way, this can all get a lot easier. Working out, having energy, even staying lean. Mars Men is made with real natural ingredients that support healthy T levels, T means testosterone. That's the code. It helps with weight management, exercise performance, okay? It supports these things. And it does it without all these synthetic hormones or suspect stimulants. They even have a 90 day money back guarantee. So there's no risk if you're not crazy about giving it a shot. For a limited time, our listeners get 50% off for life plus free shipping and three, three free gifts at mengo2mars.com, okay? That's mengo2mars.com. I'm going to say it one more time. Mengo2mars.com. You go there, you're going to get 50% off and three free gifts when you check out. After you purchase, they will ask you where you heard about them and you will say the vile and horrendous show. Please support our show. Let them know I sent you. Do it. Let's move on. Thoughts. We got a brand new segment today. Isn't that interesting? You know, here's the thing. Before I announce this new segment, it's it's it's pot off the press, all right? And this is something we usually don't do around here, but we're going to do this sometimes. This next segment is all about it's all about celebrating instead of condemning. This is a segment where we're going to pay tribute to someone or something that deserves its flowers, okay? Because sometimes you got to build something up instead of tearing shit down. So let's build, baby. Welcome to we salute you. All right. I was talking a little bit earlier in the Masters of the Universe review about good and evil, which is perfect because today in this segment I am saluting evil. Yes, good old evil. Folks, I'm here to tell you that evil is good. I'll say it again. Evil is good. I realize that might sound like an oxymoron. I don't say it for effect. I don't even say it for humor. I say it because it is true. We need evil, all right? I'm well aware that sensitivity is a great thing. Sensitivity allows for humanity, which allows us to treat one another with dignity and respect. It's sensitivity that allows us to grow and progress as human beings in both society and mentally, okay? But sensitivity ain't everything. We need a balance. We need evil. People want to stop out evil completely and I say that is the result of a very narrow perspective, all right? People want to get rid of evil and they're only thinking about it in a very basic sense. They're thinking about evil in the sense of neighborhood crime, corrupt politicians, bullies in a high school. That is very limited thinking. You can't reduce evil to just those things, all right? It's like thinking, you know, all red meat is bad because you only eat cheeseburger roller bites from 7-Eleven. And yes, those things are disgusting and they should be completely done away with. But there's more to red meat than those rotten shriveled up dog dicks that 7-Eleven is selling you, all right? Red meat has universes to it, as does evil. I want you to think about how much beautiful stuff evil has given you over the years. Now this will pertain mainly, mainly to the fields of art and entertainment and enjoyment. But these areas are incredibly crucial when it comes to any of us enjoying our time here on this horrid planet, okay? Let's start with music. All the best music comes from evil. All of it, gangster rap, the best rap, evil, evil. And I mean real gangster rap, okay? I don't mean this shit. You people are all listening to these days where some guy drinks a bottle of night quill and mumbles for seven minutes. I'm talking easy, easy, an actual gangster that made money doing gangster shit, then started a record label and used the money to make records to wrap about the gangster shit that he did. Gangster rap, all right? The real deal. Easy he has a lyric. Easy he has a lyric. I leave the hose boo hoon because they're addicted to what my dick did. Do you hear how wonderfully evil that is? How beautifully and then he died of AIDS because he walked the walk. God damn it. He walked it, baby. What do you want to hear? You want to hear tolerant gangster rap? Is that what you want to hear? You want to hear a guy be like, I was going to shoot this motherfucker. So I went to get a gun, but there's a two week mandatory waiting period. So I always respect the rules. So I went home and waited and gave it some thought and I called the guy. We're friends now. He's actually a great guy. He's got father to my kid. Nobody wants that. Nobody wants that. You want dangerous rap music. The same way you want dangerous rock music. All the best hard rock and heavy metal music comes from evil. Listen to it. The shit they're saying. It's terrible. She's only 70. 70. That's one of the pussy or hard rock songs. I'll drive God damn drunk to it. It gets me hyped. This man is living dangerously in ways that we should not be. Hollywood. Hollywood. Hollywood sucks now. Hollywood can't turn out. Well, this is going to be a recurring game. Hollywood sucks. But they can barely turn out a decent movie anymore. Why? Because they're two goddamn sensitive with everything. That's one of the things I liked about the He-Man movie. They weren't afraid to be like, hey, if you don't like this guy and he's getting in your way and he's trying to hurt you, fuck him up. I was like, yeah, it's about time. Let's get back to some of this shit. But for the most part, Hollywood won't turn out a good movie anymore because why, because they got too sensitive. The best decade of filmmaking in this country, the best decade of filmmaking, hands down was the 1970s, the 1970s. Those directors were off the reservation. They were insane. Watch documentaries about them, watch documentaries about them, watch documentaries about like Kubrick. They're interviewing the actors and in between takes, the actors are like by the third take Stanley was firing live ammunition at us, the reactions he needed. It was fucking nuts, but they got trophies. Why? Because they made art. Why? Because they let the evil go. They let a channel through them and inspire them. They went to crazy lengths to get these movies done, all right? And what you want to see on screen is it all comes from evil, gangster movies. Everybody loves gangster movies. What's the opposite? What's the sense that you want to see a soprano's where they sit down and talk it out? Is that what you want to see? Where Tony talks it out with no, you want to see him fucking shoot a guy through the throat at his daughter's graduation or whatever the fuck they did on that show. Shout out to Jamie. I mean, dude, all the best food, all the best food comes from evil, comes from evil. Gordon Ramsay is the greatest chef that has ever lived, the man, there's something wrong with him. He's got blackness in his soul. There's an episode of Gordon Ramsay. Do you guys ever see this? A woman fucks up in the kitchen. He puts a hamburger bun around her head. Have you seen this? He calls her an idiot sandwich. Yeah. Yeah. He holds the bun around her head and he goes, I'm an idiot sandwich. Say it. There it is. Say it. Look at this. What are you? An idiot sandwich. Yeah. Look at her. She's fucking almost hyper ventilating. I bet right after they cut away, she burst into tears, he scooped the tears up and started making a marinade with them because that's how you make good food. Fear, evil, rottenness, you've been working a kitchen. It's a fucking, it's like being a nom. It's a fucking horror show. You can scream that, trust me people, soft kitchens make soft food. That's not what you want. All the best food comes from evil. McDonald's. McDonald's. The most successful restaurant chain of all time. Go watch the movie The Founder about Ray Croc. Is it Ray Croc or Roy Croc? Doesn't matter. Yeah, I think it was Ray. Ray Croc. Do you ever watch that movie? He, he, he stole McDonald's out from under those dumb fucking hicc brothers that started it. He just took it right out from under them and turned it into the most amazing thing that is ever existed. Do you people realize what that man gave us with his rottenness? Do you understand what he gave us? You can get off an exit of any highway at any time and find food. You can get off, I'm going to say that again. You can get off an exit on any highway, any exit at any time and find food because of McDonald's. Because of McDonald's. And I, you might be like, well, there's also Wendy's in burger, none of that happens without McDonald's. This is all this evil cock suckers doing, all of it, all of it. Do you know what you had to do to get food on a road trip in the fifties? Pull off and find some hobo and suck his cock for the rest of his soup, whatever. You weren't getting a big Mac, trust me on that. Evil, it comes from evil. And last but not least, as everybody on the planet won't shut the fuck up about the nicks and the spurs, Jesus Christ. Don't do the nicks and the spurs, shut up sports, sports, sports, your greatest sports moments come from evil, your greatest sports moments come from evil, all right? Sports comebacks, sports comebacks. It just happened. Well, when this comes out, it'll, it'll have been a week ago, but it just happened last night with the nicks. What you said about the nicks last night, they were down 20 points, they came back and won the game. Did you see the people going crazy? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm not into sports, all right? I'm not into sports, but I do know this much about sports. The only thing better than seeing your team win is seeing your team come back and win. That is what makes you cry. If you watch your team just pummel another team, great, we won. They're down, they come back, especially when there's something at stake, truly, like the playoffs, right, a Super Bowl. Oh my God, that is, that is what makes the greatest sports memories, all right? I experienced it, even as a sports fan, I experienced this and I understood the weight of it. I lived, there's two times, not the last time the Eagles were in the Super Bowl, the time before, when they went, when they hadn't been there in like 40 years or something, like that, whatever it was, like the Patriots? No, the Eagles. But they played the Patriots out of your game? Oh, when they played the Patriots. Yeah. I don't remember. You could have told me, you could have told me they played the Sixers, it would be like, okay. Play Colorado Avalanche. I just knew the Eagles hadn't been in in decades and I'm from Philly, so I was, you know, I was supposed to tune in and I, you know, the extent of my sports excitement is if a team from where I'm from, goes to the distance, that I do find that exciting. But that's without having watched the entire season or whatever, I'm just not a sports guy. Anyway, I was living in Hollywood at the time of this Super Bowl. And I watched the game with a bunch of Hollywood actors. People, there are two things actors from Hollywood don't care about. It is football and Philadelphia. Those are the two things. Anyway, halftime comes. Eagles are down, not looking good. Man, it took all this time to get back here. Here we are. We're not going to win. It's a bummer. Eagles, miraculously, pull it out, second half of the game, come back, win the Super Bowl. People, the actors from LA were crying in the bar. I was crying. We were all crying. It was an emotional moment, okay? You don't get that moment with sensitivity, okay? You don't get it with sensitivity. You don't get it with the coach going out at halftime going, hey, hey, hey, hey, why the long faces? Who cares that we're losing? Winner, schminners, guys, come on, man. Everybody's a winner on that field today. All right? Pizza's on me after the game. Come on, let's see some smiles. Let's have a group hug. Come on, let's just get out there and have fun. No, that's not how you get a win like that. That coach came out at halftime, I promise you, and was like, I will face fuck every one of you dickless fucking pussies right now. If you keep playing like the pieces are shit you're playing like right now, line up, you're getting face fucked. Line up! Boom, Super Bowl ring. That's how it works. That's how it works. And that's why you need evil, and that is why evil is good. All right. I'm moving on, moving on to one of my favorite segments. We didn't do this last week, but we got one this week. Flight log. Just with following the theme of what this segment has become, and that theme is that air travel is becoming an impossible endeavor for the average American citizen, and that soon because of costs will all be unable to indulge in it at all. There are three headlines that progressively tell a cute little story. Now, rising cost of fuel leads us to our first headline. Can we show that? Americans are paying more to travel this summer. Airfare shot up 27 percent from a year earlier in the latest inflation data. Well, that's not good. We can pull it down, because that leads us to our second headline, which is right here. American Airlines, the airline I use the most, just to spend six routes amid high fuel costs. All right. And finally, that leads us to our third headline, which is right here. You can't fly planes that are empty, airlines draw up cuts for ugly winter. So, prices jump 27 percent, routes get suspended, and finally, planes are empty as we approach an ugly winner. There it is. There it is right in front of you. You can pull this down. The airlines are officially now crying poor house this falls right in line. everything we've been talking about, they're crying poor house, again, again, again, just as they did after 9/11, just as they did after COVID, my prediction is they're going to do what they always do when this happens, exactly what they did after those two tragedies, which is this. They're going to start offering us insane deals, offers we cannot refuse, super cheap seats, et cetera, that kind of thing. I, for one, I, for one, I just procured a first-class seat that was somehow cheaper than an economy seat. Go figure. What a deal, right? Yeah. What this does is it keeps us flying, okay? Once they keep us flying, they're going to start slowly hiking those prices back up, pass where they're at now, and fucking us all over again and start, and they'll also start adding brand new convenience fees. New fees are common people. I promise you. You will start being forced to pay for your carry-on bags. That's right around the corner. Paying for your carry-on bags is right around the corner. It's coming, all right? Premium airlines will start functioning the way spirit airlines use to. So you're going to be paying premium prices for everything on top of an expensive airfare, and it's all going to be a la carte, all of it. Trust me, you will be paying for every tiny thing, okay? And ultimately where this ends up is air travel being more unaffordable than it is even now. They can't take this away from us all at once. They can't do that. They've got to make it look like they're really doing their best to accommodate us. They've got to make it look like they're really trying to help us out, and then slowly, slowly slide that dick back in, and they're not, they're not trying to accommodate us. What they are doing is performing a long con. This is a long con when they've been running for at least 20 years, and one that has a simple end goal to have the majority of us stuck in our homes, unable to get out from under your day-to-day bullshit, forced to fucking AI sex bot as your door dash order shows up, all right? And that of course will only be exacerbated when, how convenient, every ride share is driven by a robot, and they can shut those cars down whenever they want. I'd start working diligently on that perfect AI girlfriend now if I were you. It's a grim future folks, but what can you do? I don't know. You know, a friend of mine said to me today, I started watching your show. It seems like you're not happy about anything. I said, "I'm not." What's there to be happy about? He goes, "You really think everything's that bad?" And then I barked at him for like 20 minutes about what I think, not bark like me in a rude way, but just kind of puked out all my cakes on current society, and then he goes, "You know what? I'm depressed now." He sober. He said he was literally was thinking about drinking by the end of the phone call. I said, "Yeah, you should. You're an idiot to not drink." Christ, all right, I got myself all worked up. All right, let's move into, while we're on headlines, let's move into what a world. Oh, they're going to get so mad about this beef stick. I'll chew while you're, when it reading. Okay. All right, this first one is university president who told graduates to end themselves takes unpaid leave. He told them to kill themselves. Yeah, it was a graduation ceremony. And I mean, the context of it is basically, he told them that if, you know, the whatever it is, whatever job or career that they get into, and if they feel like they can't do it and they're failing at it, they should just end themselves because they're not contributing to society. I mean, that is fucking wild. Holy shit. Can we at least pull up the full, can you scroll down so I can read the full quote? Or is that the video? Oh, it was overseas. Yeah, it's in Taipei. Oh, well, then that makes sense. Yeah. Oh, I thought it was, I thought it was on American soil. No, no, no. Taiwan, I would have guessed Japan, because isn't Japan, what is that called when you stab yourself with a sword because you failed your family? Harakiri? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you know, you lose the family business and you put a, you put a fucking sword through your stomach. But this is, this is Taiwan. I'm surprised it wasn't Japan, but yeah. By the way, that's not me shit knowing Japan people, they're Japanese people. That's just me saying like it sounds in line with that form of self. Is it self-imulation? Is that the term when you light yourself on fire? No, okay, then it's not the term. They should add fire to that fucking thing though, right? That's it. That would make it super bad as if you put a sword in and you fucking go up and flames right after. They just do it better in Japan. They just do things better than we do. Suicide. What do we do? We take pills. So born. Just drown on your own vomit. Yeah, Jesus. I mean, this is bad. Obviously, this is a bad shit thing to say to a crew to anyone. It's a bad shit thing to say to anybody. It's a bad shit thing to say to somebody that wants to kill themselves, let alone, unprovoke to a bunch of students. And then he takes an unpaid lead. Look, I'll give him this much credit. That's what you do. If you're, was it, was he suspended or did he, was it a self-imposed unpaid lead? It was self-imposed. Yeah, yeah, he, you know, he got the idea that like, maybe I shouldn't have said that and you apologize for it and decided to just take the lead. That's the gangster move. You go, I said it. I'm out of here. Taking two months off. No pay. I know what I said. I know what I said. By the way, I love that it's only two months. I mean, God damn, they are not fucking around in Taiwan. Holy shit. I guess the leave is like after the school year. So that's fucking wild. That is wild. He just said it and the school didn't even make him do it. He was just like, all right, I'll see myself out. That's crazy. Two months, two months after telling how many kids, doesn't say how many kids were in attendance. It does not. If you can't make it at your job, kill yourself. I don't agree with the sentiment. I will say this. If you can't make it at your job, please get the fuck out. Because Lord only knows we're watching a ton of people who can't make it at their job. Do the job repeatedly every day and we all have to deal with it. Please quit the God damn job if you don't have to do it. That I will say. For instance, the DoorDash guy that delivered my order today and called me four times trying to figure out how to get into the building with explicit instructions in the app. Maybe give up DoorDash if you can't figure out how to get into a building. All right, let's go to the next one. All right. Next one, a woman who banned herself from Pennsylvania casinos for life gets escorted out after winning jackpot. All right, bring it up. Why is that? What is she? She banned herself. She banned herself, which is a thing you can do if you suffer from gambling addiction is you can put yourself on like a list for people like that work at casinos to know like, hey, not, you know, we can't play with you. We can't take your money. Whatever. So she was on this list and I guess she just went to a casino and she won and got reported and I guess they're not letting her keep the money either because she's on that list. Jesus Christ. That's got a sting. That sucks. She's 69. I mean, fuck off casino. Let her keep the goddamn money. You know what I mean? What a fucking shitty. Because look, if you put yourself on the list, I assume you can take yourself off the list, right? Or maybe you can't. I think you can put yourself on a list for one year, five years, or a lifetime. I guess it's like, you know, you set like a certain limit. I don't know if you can necessarily. Oh, it says the self-exclusions don't expire. So I guess once you do it, that's it. Yeah. All right. Well, she did it. And then, you know, that's, I guess that's the rule. You know what I take back what I just said, the casino. Hey, that's the rule. Look, I'm a big believer in this was the agreement. You know, I'm not a big fan of when somebody comes back and goes, but the agreement wasn't fair. We've all made stupid decisions. We've all made stupid agreements to things because in the moment, it seemed like it made sense. Now, now, let me be clear. I am not talking about, you know, getting robbed through the fine print or being manipulated into thinking or misunderstanding something or misinterpreting something. That's different. So when something is pretty clear cut, in other words, if you do this movie, this is what you will get paid and there will be no further. their money. If you sign this thing at the casino, you are never allowed to gamble in here ever again. You know, these are the types of contracts you see people backpedaling on a lot lately, you know. You see it a lot with it's and the reason I said the movie thing is because you'll see actors come out and say well I was in this and then it went on to be this big franchise and I didn't get any of that and that wasn't your deal. That wasn't your deal. Your deal was to be in this thing to play the part in this thing to accept this amount of money for that part and that was the deal. You're not owed anything past that. You signed an agreement. Things happen which is why, you know, you sometimes need to get a lawyer involved. I've had lawyers tell me a million times with a million things I've signed. Dude, I know the chances of this happening are extremely unlikely. Just in case they do, we have to make sure you're protected. If you don't have a lawyer doing that for you, you sign what you sign. It's what happens. All right. And if you sign an agreement at a casino that says, hey, the agreement is is once you put your name on this thing, you were never allowed to come back. Well, that's the agreement you signed. Well, shit. Why? Also, would you go to the fuck? I mean, God damn lady, you banned yourself from the Pennsylvania casinos. Why the fuck wouldn't you go to the Jersey casinos? You chose to continue to gamble in Pennsylvania the worst option instead of going down to Atlantic City. Unless she banned herself in Atlantic City, she's from Asbury, New Jersey, seven of those like that man for casinos in 2000. But the headline says Pennsylvania. What happened in Pennsylvania? But she's from New Jersey. But it says she banned herself from Pennsylvania casinos. She didn't say it doesn't say she banned herself from New Jersey casinos. I mean, I guess she didn't ban herself from Jersey. My assumption is she also did. It's possible. I mean, Christ, go to Connecticut then. It's a two hour drive. Go to Connecticut. Go to Mahigen Sun and gamble up there. Why would you not do that? I don't know. I got no sympathy for this lady. She's really connected to Hollywood Casino, I guess. Yeah. Well, I welcome to Hollywood lady. You got fucked. That's how it works. Just like the Blair Witch Actors saying they should be paid money for the extended franchise because they were in the first movie. That's who I was referring to, by the way. Anyway, go ahead. Let's do one more. All right. Have you ever seen the show heated rivalry? No, you know what it is, you familiar? Well, being that I've never seen it, no. All right. So heated rivalry star scrambles after swastika photo resurfaces. Oh, boy. Guy in a popular show. You know, I find that's where most of your scrambling takes place these days is the resurfacing of a photo. Resurface is a word you never want to hear in a story about yourself. If you see a story with your name in it on the internet, you know, with a news outlet like TMZ or the New York Post, New York Times or whatever, and it says resurfaced. Something bad is the hammer's dropping. This is the photo. Where's the swastika? I don't even see it. Right there. Okay. It's on the top side. Okay. And he's also got an upside down cross. It also says MIA. This looks like, well, let's see, let's see the explanation. My guess is he's in college and his friends and him got shit faced and they all drew on each other's faces high school for Christ's sake. You basically got it. Image dates back to high school, small community town, annual camp out tradition, underage drink and partnering, covering one another, shirts, faces and bodies and shirts. Okay. So it was exactly what I guess. Except he was in high school in our college. What is the problem here? I guess since he's, you know, a public figure now and he's gotten popular online. But I mean, is there any backlash? Does anybody not understand he was a dipshit in high school and did a dumb thing when he was drunk? Yeah, but I guess, you know, nobody's really putting that into a context of it. What's the swastika? What are the, now, now Hudson Williams is being haunted. Okay. Let's see who he's being haunted by. Scroll down, please. Okay. He's being haunted by Hannah, everybody. Hannah. Who the fuck is Hannah? Hudson, William stuns and newly sheriff. Okay. So let's scroll down and see who else is haunting. Hudson. Oh, there's 15 replies. Oh boy. 15 replies. Can't see him. It's okay. Don't worry about it. But no, but is there anybody else in the story itself besides Hannah or her, is, is and her sisters or her sisters in here? Or is it just Hannah? Um, looks like it's just Hannah. I mean, I think just people in general like online are just, no, but when I'm saying it, go back to the story. What I'm saying is, is scroll down, they'll put, they'll put multiple posts in is my point. If they're there, we've got one post. That means nobody's talking about this online. Let alone anybody of, with any weight behind them. Um, this to me just sounds like TMZ father. This seems like stupid shit that again, a kid who's being dumb in high school, not, not realizing the weight of something when he was drunk, being stupid with his friends. By the way, is he, can we pull up a wiki? Is he Asian? Is he Asian? Yeah, he is. He's Asian. So swastikas don't carry as much weight when it's in Asian. You know, because that's how Nazism works. Blond hair blue eye. That was a big component if I'm not mistaken. Well, not a big part of Hitler's soup, his big recipe. Blond hair blue eye. That's a big part of it. Yeah, this kid's going to be in the next fucking mortal combat movie for Christ's sakes. Was that racist? I didn't mean for it to be. I just meant like there's a lot of Asians in the mortal combat movie. Oh, you're right. Uh, yeah, it come. Massive hate. Well, no, click on that entertainment weekly one. Bottom right. Massive hate campaign. Okay, he rivalry star has been under scrutiny after an unverified photo of him as a teenager. Okay, scroll down. Uh, let's, yeah, let's just get the bullet points here. Master or sorry, Marvel star, Simeu, Simeu Lou, I never know if I say his name properly. I apologize if I said it wrong. Showed up in support for Hudson Williams. Uh, by the way, Hudson Williams does not selling the name of an Asian guy. It sounds like where you get your tires done. Doesn't it? What are you doing today? I got a Hudson Williams. My treads, my treads then. Excuse me. All right, wait. Oh, God, the pop ups. We can't even read the article. The photo surface to mid what social users have alleged to be a smear campaign against Williams. Okay, so social media users are saying this is kind of come on. Uh, I began to recognize patterns, whatever people of color specifically had a moment of visibility, Lou said in a common online. It happened like clockwork and I see happening now. The internet is insane. I agree with the Marvel guy, man, it's like, come on. You know, it's, it's, yeah, this is stupid. This is, this is nothing burger. I'm sorry, it's nothing burger. And that's not me dismissing the historical pain and significance of the swastika. And that is not me saying that anti-semitism is okay. That is me saying, this is a kid that did a dumb thing that he thought was funny when he was young and drunk and didn't know better. And come on already, enough with this. Uh, all right, folks, you can pull this down. Uh, I guess we got time for a quick pig talk. Why not? Right. One of those is from our buddy, uh, psycho stench. Who was psycho stench again? He's the guy that wrote that one story that you couldn't read. Well, then, not reading that one. I saw numbers in it immediately. I was like, I saw the number 18. And I think I saw another number in there. And I was like, this, if this is age things, I'm, fuck this. All right. Uh, okay. Let's do. This is, no, I thought we read that one already. We didn't. Okay. Vile or villain. And this comes from somebody named moose. Moose. I'm a sucker for the name moose. always makes me laugh. Sup Joe and pussy hounds in one cock sucker. Thank you, Moose, first person to address the crew by their title. By the way, I already forget the other name. Scumbags in the other room. That's right. We got made fun of a lot for me picking-- well, I got made fun of a lot-- for picking the two names that I thought of. [LAUGHTER] I don't know, I like them. Anyway, Moose says, I'm in my 40s and married 15 plus years now, early in my marriage, I would frequent bars and get a bit wild. Some of my go-to moves would be such as asking girls flat out to see their tits. Jesus, Moose, you're off to a bad start here. Immediate reactions were always no. Then I would say, I am married. I don't need to touch them. I just want to see them, not getting any better, Moose. Shocking how well that worked. Oh, dear God, what do you live in? A girl's gone wild video. Also, I would smack random women's asses on the dance with Jesus Christ. OK? And again, whether the women themselves or their men confronting me, I would just point to my wedding ring and say, hey, I'm married, just trying to have a good time. I would still choke you. [LAUGHTER] You could literally say, you could literally put your wife in front of you as a blockade. As a human block, I would choke you. Nothing would make me not do that. My wife was either present, or I told her the stories. She was never really thrilled. You don't say Moose. But at least I was honest, I guess. Even typing this email blows my mind that I only got away with this. But I was borderline celebrated for it by the victims times where-- Just when you think it's going to turn, where the guy learns his lesson. Just when you think it's going to turn, right? Ready? Ready for the last sentence? Times were so much better. Before everyone was able to record videos and not point out everyone's flaws. And although I would hate me in my 20s now, if I met him, he had a blast. Cheers, Moose. No, cheers, Moose. You're a villain and you're a vial. That's gross. It's not cool. And the only way it could be redeemable would be if you said, I can't believe I did this. And I'm embarrassed. And it's Jesus Christ. And I guess times might have been different, but dear Lord, you're not saying any of that. Right in the part where I think you're going to say it, you say, and in a bummer about camera phones? No, actually Moose, it's not a bummer. You're exactly the fucking reason we have them. All right, folks. Thanks for tuning in. Come see me at the joke world fest, July. Sorry, August 14th and 15th. I did not go to Home Depot. Of course, I did not go to Home Depot leave support ice. I don't understand. Yes, I'm losing my shit. Why is everybody not losing their shit? The world is run by a loose appearing cult. They're rapes, murders, and eats. I'm not eats. Children. And all you have to do to stop it is heal yourself. Make better choices. Like don't, don't get money to the company's doing this. And make talented love to your partner. That's how you fix it. But now they want to play video games and watch the Super Bowl. I can't.
