Episode 978 | "Content Demons"

The podcast episode explores the dynamics of celebrity treatment in service environments, particularly focusing on restaurants in Atlanta. Host Joe Button and guest Mark Lamar Hill discuss how celebrities, like Keith Lee, often receive preferential service—such as faster service or better seating—when they visit, sparking debate over fairness for regular customers. The hosts argue that this privilege is not just a matter of social status but reflects broader cultural and economic patterns, especially in black-owned businesses where visibility and community trust are critical. They highlight that while service and food critiques are subjective, basic standards like wait times and customer attention should be consistent regardless of who visits. The conversation also touches on the ethics of criticism: celebrities may be expected to enjoy better experiences, but this doesn’t mean they should be exempt from accountability. The hosts emphasize that while preferential treatment may seem normal, it can disadvantage local patrons and undermine equitable access. They stress that true critique should be grounded in experience, not perception, and that both critics and businesses must operate with transparency and mutual respect. Ultimately, the discussion serves as a reflection on how power, visibility, and community influence the way service is delivered and evaluated in modern hospitality.

It may have been there. - Which is-- - Nope. - In Manhattan. - Delinquency and fucking-- But boy, it's fun to just people watch in traffic. We was going to the party. It was at Beauty and Essex. So that's down there by O.K. - How's it going? - Yeah, yeah. - That's a fucking soda. To traffic, they was detouring everybody to the FDR. Back to-- - It was an absolute-- - So isn't that car for about an hour? But the last 10 minutes of the ride, watching the crazies in New York, I'm feeling inspired. I put the man's going in the car. Let's get it. Now I'm rolling the window down. - No, no, no, no. - But what nobody fuck with me. What nobody-- Like to flick point back in the day, you got your man's going. You put your head out the window. It'll be some interactions. I see you. It wasn't none of that. - Nobody know who the fuck you was. - This Halloween. That's not what New York is. That's not what New York is supposed to be. New York is together when it's not supposed to be. - Exactly. - Holidays, chaos, emergency. - It's like that in Queens. Both nights. We were out Friday. Queens gives that. But I'm talking about in Manhattan. Like when they doing they gay thriller shit down there. They down Christopher Street. They work on it. They work on it. So it's a big deal. So anyway, I put my-- - You courted me a grab. - He courted me a grab. - Back it over. - Mark, you too much of a fucking ally to the LGBTI community for you to only make fun of the gays. Because if it was trans-- It's trans people there too. - Oh, who's that? - That change your position? - No. - It wasn't just gays. - Oh really? - There was transgender people down there too. - You were? - Yeah, he was down there. - I just-- like the choreo. Anyway, I put my mask on the last 10 minutes. I keep it on thinking I'm in the spirit of things and I walk up to the party. I get there on time because to be honest say that this is going to be madness and the fire department might shut it down and get to out of control. So I get there and we walk up and I ain't been outside in so long and I ain't been to like a club in so long that I heard a line that I never liked to hear and it really bothered me. It bothered me even after the event. After the event when I got home, it bothered me that I heard this line. I love it. Get to the back of the line. Oh, shit. Oh. Oh. Is that you? No one likes to. Yes. Yeah. You got your mask on. Celebrity. Yes. Oh, well, I'll get the mask on. You can't get mad. Now how that works. It's not it works. That's not it's not it's not it works. It's a dog. So there is a line to the left. Okay. And a line to the right. Okay. And in the middle, not the longest, but it ain't moving. They clearly not letting people in. And in the middle, there's the people that think they important. So they try to talk to the people and security that sit them all the way. Y'all get the fuck out of here. So all this left standing is me and my family. And I say, Hey, man. Hey, that's a cool voice. And he says, he says like New York security. Yo, get, get to the back of the line. Yo, the club ain't open yet. If you hear, yo, you nigga put his thumb on my mask. You nigga back in the line. No, of course he didn't do that. I'll give me high. So then I said, Hey, man, hey, hey, hey, are y'all not open? And they say, yeah, now we not open to the back of the line. And I said, okay, okay, okay, I say, Hey, is this party open to the public? And he said, I don't know about all that, but you got to get to the back of the line. Clear the whole front, clear the whole front. And I say, Okay, let's try this a different way. We're do this. We're do that. We're do this celebrities go. Well, he said, and he said, to the back of the line, we've not opened everybody get to the back to the back of the line. And I said, Oh, okay, we'll try this a different way. Face time, Tiana. Who is a woman? She is there. She is there. The people that play in the holiday spirit, like the Halloween spirit, her, Tiana and Heidi Klum probably have the same process on Halloween. Like they go make up. So they didn't get in all the hair and make up shit down. I pissed down. Oh, and she was in a bad mood. And she barked on them people. I felt like such a bitch doing this. Yeah. Why you don't just take your mask off, Joe? No. So how do you even say who you was? You know, just to sound of my voices a hit ice. Well, I just the sound of my voice is a hit. What they didn't hit it. You should have used a lot of us. Yeah. That's the same. Yeah. That's funny. But anyway, she barked and let us say it seemed like everybody was there. I wouldn't know because I didn't move from my table in my section. But everybody was there having a time. They had, she had the dancers, the stars, some of the Starless dancers in there. So like a, they mocked the strip club for the middles or everybody's with you dancing. And they had singles. You can go get singles. Oh, shit. And if you bought a section and they came with singles. So I had a section. So I went to go get some singles and the kids just with me now. So they think daddy war bucks is here. So we about to just throw a whole bunch of money. So I go up there, get more. And I'm trying to get some more money. And there's some other people over there trying to get some money too. And I guess they was having a tough time with the communication is loud and there or whatever. So I had just walked up there. And Tiana had two stacks and she put them in my chest. But then Ty Little, the streamer was there. I guess trying to get his money. And he didn't get his yet. So he was just had his hands on mine on, I'm holding money. You're wrestling for the world. I'm holding money. And he got his hand on the money that I'm holding, talking to somebody, yo, I just got my money. It's my money. And I just say, say here, bro, there's more money. You know, it's okay. You don't have to act like this all sounds like it's perfect today. It's a style. It's a big, big dog. It's not a one. No, no, no, no, no. How are you thinking when? We know how we? How are you thinking? How are you going? I don't want no problem, sir. You run that. God, they run that. Yeah, they hang on a lot. They play with you. But they don't see me outside. You look at shaky. I they don't they don't they don't see me. They don't see me outside. They can't have me look at shaky. Anyway, we really grabbed your breath. That's what they say. Took your shit. Shot and saw. Did you make it past the day late, saving time? Reset? No, no, no. No, no, no, no. I got out of the air. I got out of the air about 130. Because once the dancer's start coming out, you go, I know these bitches. In a good way, and I took my singles home. I gave the kids some singles and walked right out of there with a bag of singles. I'm surprised kids didn't blow it all. No, I ain't get more than money. No, no, I gave them niggas two grand and went on. That's a lot. She should be enough when you're 19. Anyway, shout out to Tiana. Everybody that was at that party. Good time. Just a good vibes. Think I see in May, no, and a fan. I see Emily B too. Oh, boy, hey, bye. I've got to be careful when he's in New York, obviously. Yeah, yeah, the truth. Yeah, I don't know, but I didn't like how well, no, I want to be treated like I want it perks. And I guess we are about to talk about that. We about that. But I want it. I want it. I want it. So I re perks. Yes. Yeah. Like I work for him. I worked hard for that. That was our point. Yeah. Huh? That was our point. I didn't like how that felt. So for the rest of the night with mask off. You rather than mask again, rather be a snitch and just take your mask off. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What does that do for how you look at me? You don't wait for the back of the line. You know how you go to the kitchen. I'm not going to say all the way. But I want to argue with the dude instead of just pulling out off my mask. Man's doing his job, too, too, man. Yeah, but if you pull the mask off and then he still says get the back off now, you make the content. Now you make the call. No, you look crazy in that app. I didn't even think of that option. Yeah, we're on your button. Damage you're doing it. Do your ass to the back of the line. Yeah. Oh, fun times on Halloween. I was in bed the whole next day because that one day like savings time. Now I do love it looking pitch black around 5 p.m. Not me. That's what happens. So it looks like they see the sky purple. The extra hour with the same sky. Don't do that, Mark, because I wasn't doing that. Anyway, yeah, but I'm well rested. I'm well rested. Ready to rock. Ready to rumble. Ready to react to things. Come back. What you got? We got takes galore for you today. So many takes galore for you today. Yo, yo, yo, shout they by that Clipper program. It has been watching on the back end. Hey, I'll do that. Hey, yo, he said in and save on it, been watching and monitoring things in the back end. A lot of you. You all are racking up out there. There's only been a few days. We're starting this count from the first so congratulate stay by out there. Keep that up, man. I'll do all the people out there. Some of them cheating the system. Just keep your eye on that. I ain't no snitch. I ain't gonna say who? How? What's what's the cheat? What's the unit? It's a seven day hold on Patreon's. Oh, oh, yeah, I saw. Yeah, I saw you. Yeah, just snitch. Yeah, I saw. No, I can do it. We saw. We saw. We saw. We saw. Yeah, you can't sleep. No, but you can't sleep. That's not easy, so I can't sleep. Nothing by save on it. We say they are. They are actually. You wouldn't read it. Never. I'm a rapper. I'm just asking questions. The message. Can we all do it? I thought you could say, yeah, we can all do it. I don't know. I can't do it. Nobody can do it. I want a pepper jack. All right. All right. All right. We are leading off with two chains versus Keith Lee. There was a rough weekend for food influencers out there. Or a great weekend, depending on how you look at things, depending on how you look at it. Let's get right to it. You know what I'm saying as far as like what you do is it's your thing. You get right to it. We'll wait. Today is the day where you can actually create who you are, create a job, create revenue, create ways to take care of your family so I can never take care of it. got to wait. Obviously you've been to a couple of my restaurants. What are the responses? Good or bad? Which restaurant's there? I don't need it. It's on my. Okay, I'll just do it. I think so. I can't believe we got fooled up here. We'll try that. This clip to me is hilarious for so many reasons. It really is. I have it in here because this clip is 8 minutes long. I have the shorter, more condensed version. I just think it's important for y'all to hear how two chains led. Like his whole. Yo, it's not a big deal. It's not a big thing. I understand how y'all get your mind. I do think that's important. Even him saying, "Hey, Kirk, ain't that right?" And Kirk not being sure is hilarious to me. Ain't that right? Kirk aren't willing that down the street. Well, if you said it, it's okay. In pieces for it. Right, Kirk ain't doing it. More than I would have called indoors, but anyway, I saw you do my restaurant, I saw you do other people's restaurants. I really can't judge it because it's your pain. You know what I'm saying? It's like your. Also, let me pause it real quick because it's come out that it was a whole different food reviewer that interviewed the restaurant that he's talking about. Now, I feel like had he not just been like, "Yo, it don't matter," then they could have got to that. It could have got to, "Yo, that wasn't me." The one you're talking about. Yeah. But anyway, "East Buzz is your opinion." It's like how to leave with that. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? And then, like, whatever people are engaged in, that's them. Now, we got, you know, streaming is the biggest, like, "I don't know if you're still doing the food reviews." I know what not, but I know streaming is just as big as what that was back then. So, to live in a time where people, it's just really opinion-based and people do get obvious attitudes of because it's like, Atlanta is the city, it's really what we're contemplating. You're really being from Detroit, which is another city that I can sit up, Black DC, I don't know if you want to see it. We go, let's go. But Atlanta is like the mecca of light. Yeah. People coming together, like, real light, you'll meet somebody like theirs and y'all will open up a business. And in three months, it may do well or it may not do well. So, just, like, consciously knowing that you are in an area where people are trying, like, no one else. And I explain this when I go, "Mine me when I'm in New York." Like, when we do this type of, if we was in New York doing this facility, we can already know that a Black person I got nothing to do with it. If we was in LA, and a Black person on a building in LA, a Black person on, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. But down here, I'm telling you, I got three-fold properties, downtown, three-fold, you know what I mean. Right. I nigga come down here in front of me. That's a shit. Man, oh my god, this stuff is just a seasoning dish. You're just not, you know what I'm saying, nigga, right? Who is buddy? Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Who is buddy? I'll pause it right there. Who is buddy? Is hilarious. And he thought so far, gentleman. It's an interesting setup for where he's going. Yeah, that's all I'm gonna say. You know what I said? I'm here for that. I'm swear, I'm swear I'm not. So, I'm here for that. So, I'm very polite. I believe in that. Do y'all think the two chains is irritated at this point? Absolutely. I think two chains isn't particularly love critics. He was irritated from the, and I think he, I think his frustration didn't allow him to convey his thoughts in the most concise way, because I get what he's trying to say, but I think his, what's he trying to say? He's trying to say that in Atlanta, and I agree with him, and Atlanta, black people are opening up businesses and are entrepreneurial in a way that they are not anywhere else in the country, right? So, New York got 20 million people. If you go to New York, you don't see black owned businesses nowhere near at the rate that you see them in Atlanta, especially in Atlanta, shit is elaborate. Like you might see $70,000 chandeliers hanging down from the ceiling. And when you walk in there, typically in New York, that's some white own shit. In Atlanta, that's some black shit. And so, you don't see that in most places in the United States. And so, for you to be a critic and go into one of these establishments that's potentially black owned and to shit on it, he finds it just tasteful. That's what I think he's trying to say, but again, his frustration didn't really allow him to convey it in a manner like that. And he's saying, "Yo, a lot of these businesses could be shut down in six months." Make a break. Yeah, make a break. So, if you go in there and you're a respected critic and you shit on this restaurant, then they could have a detrimental consequences to this up-and-coming entrepreneur. But shouldn't that speak to, if our own restaurant trying to like a critic may come in here? Yeah. So, maybe I should have great service, great food, things that if a critic comes in here, they would write a good review. You have that option to do things where this will lead to a good review, or you have that option to do things where this will lead to a not-so-favorable review. In fairness, if the review were to happen in the first six months of a restaurant being opened, and I'm not sure that's the case, there's a lot of kinks that got to get worked out in the first year of a restaurant in particular. The restaurant business is a very, very, very hard business. A black and raw people. So, when it comes to the conversation of customer service or where the conversation of food, not only do I come from a place of being a professional athlete, and the only way that I was able to cut as much weight or be a professional for the level I was, was how I focused on food. So, I was around food dietitians and food scientists for years, right? But I never come from the perspective of expert or the perspective of chefs. I come from a perspective of somebody who is a consumer of black community. That's a part of black community. And somebody who won't be advancement of the black community. So, my opinion has always been from that standpoint. It ain't been from all the food got to be amazing. It got to be the second, third, but if I go in and we all know at this table, if you mojo rooks, you two chains, you desi bans, you cut, if you go in, you're gonna get a completely different experience than if my mama go in, where my wife go in or if anybody in a problem in, because they're not food other people think they are, right? So, I feel like from here specifically, the experience was completely different once my face was shown. I sent my mama law into ten different restaurants. She couldn't know where, she couldn't get no food, she couldn't get no service, she couldn't get no experience at all. I go in and tell you we're ready right now. So, I think it's more or less from the people who watch us. I'm blessed enough to have people who want to jump on a plane. I'm blessed enough to have people that's gonna come from a different country and say I want to try this food. I'm blessed enough to have people that's gonna stand out hours of long lines around the corner. We just do our very first festival in the world and say over 20,000 people showed up. So, like, I take that serious man. I don't ever want to put nobody in a situation that they get a different experience only because they not keep leave. So, it's up. This seems to be the crux of the argument. I didn't think this was the most concise back and forth, but this seems to be the part that got everybody. That was unfortunate. Oh, you know, this is the part that got people up in arms. I guess I'll play it in my poll as it for it. Honestly, come with that. And me saying this is how our experience was. If I got to get the backlash for that, I'm okay with that. All right. So, two things that I got out from that. Two is I'm an entertainer and obviously we get perks to other people don't get that's just that's not even a liner. That's this period, my boy. I don't stand out good. That I got a greeter. I don't stand in line at the airport. I don't do none of that because I don't work my ass off to do this else. So, to say like, I'm supposed to wait 40 minutes to get that boy. That's bullshit. I'll Yeah, I paused it because this is where my confusion comes in. I'm not certain that two chains is picking up what Keith Lee is putting down. I'm like, holy mr. He missed it. He missed it. I think I think the best. Keith Lee, Keith Lee is saying, yeah, the celebrities are going to get different treatment, but the people that I'm speaking to and my audience, they are not celebrities. So, I'm giving the experience that they're going to receive, especially when people are traveling and coming from out of the country to try a restaurant that I'm trying. We can't rely on, hey, this is such and such so, let's get him a table immediately. And later on in this, which you'll hear, Keith Lee says, well, what happens if all of that goes away, which he probably should have said, well, what about the person that that doesn't apply to? That's a bit of what I want to say about it. Because it didn't help two chains pick up what he was putting down. It was on the pass. And Beverly Hills, they can still mention them straight. I happen to that go away. It's been here before us. It's been, it's been here before us. It's been here before us, bro. It's been here before. You can be a wrestler, but you know, Rick Lair coming in, Waffle House, they won't make sure he eat before anybody. It's just what it is. And then secondly, your expertise being an athlete, being someone that's had meal preps and dietary stuff like that. Man, your expertise, it supersedes anything that a normal person is just eating every day. You eating the cut, wait, so you are medically know what too much salt is, fried food is. You know, what you need to be eating all because I don't know if I look like it, but I eat right too. You know, I'm saying like, I eat right on my athlete too. And that's the part, well, I mean, like, you know what, two chains, you got to be dope. Like any part in the conversation where you got to start telling me that you were athlete and you eat right too, then you ain't getting, you ain't, you ain't hearing what I'm saying. You just look at this point. It sounds, you just sound, it ain't sounding the way it's supposed to sound. And two chains is athlete. Like any, any, any, any does eat right. I'm just talking about having to say it because somebody else said it. No, I don't think that's why he said it. I think he's saying it like, yo, you're an athlete. And so you don't necessarily want to eat the fat back and the shit links and all of the shit that these people are eating. So if you are critiquing this stuff for my athlete, from an athlete's perspective, you might be like, yo, this is too salty or yo, this is too fatty or yo, this is too this, which is the average motherfucker in Atlanta, don't care about that. - Yeah, we look at the serve as big back shit. - I want big back shit. - Which is a good point. - From two chains. - Yes, yeah. - Now, then it comes to who's reviewing the food, which is a different conversation, which is the partner conversation they didn't get to yet. But yeah, I agree. I mean, his relationship to food is going to be different. - Yeah, I think that's interesting. - And so, what you saying, even from what you saying, that perspective is even more crazy, because you know your athlete, you know what you got to eat, I also don't love that, because in too many videos, Keith Lee says, this is my opinion from my taste buds, and be sure to go out and get your own experience, and see how it tastes for yourself. Like he does stake that, like rather often. That's one of them disclaimers don't really count. That's true. You know what I mean? Like we all say shit like that. That's just my opinion, but we want, we want people to believe our opinion. And people believe celebrities when they say shit. - Coming to restaurants, these restaurants are not made to, they're not like you went to a vegan restaurant, you know what I mean? They don't do this thing here, this thing gonna help you cook. You going to restaurants where they got fat, they can make in your back fat. This is what they do, this is for fat bags on them. You can't go in there, you can't go in there on some like, I'm trained, this is for fat bags, you come here, I'm training my nigga. Y'all ain't got, you ain't. - I only got a place I'm in, right? So I never go anywhere on to this deal. - I don't know, I don't know, I just ain't. - I only got to place places that specifically say, hey, pull up, now it's different, right? If I go in and I get my opinion, and it's not the opinion you wanna hear, you invited me here, you asked me to come get my opinion, but then you get upset because my opinion, I would just want to give you. - First of all, I'm opinion, that's, just to stop that opinion, that's it, that's an opinion. I'm just saying, because I'm just getting to know you, that your taste buds derived from a place of being an athlete and happening to stay at a certain level. - Keep Lee clear to me right now. - I'm like, man, you gotta go to some. - Keep Lee clear to him with the, but you don't eat meat and you did the complex show and you were judging Waggo. - Yeah, he said, I did that shit for a chat. - Yeah, that didn't help, that didn't help anything. - I gave it to Jason, he said, yeah, I might've been a bad judge. He said, I might've been a bad judge. I didn't, I'm not, I'm not gonna qualify. - Yeah, I ain't qualified. - He's conceding, I wasn't qualified either. - Yeah, but if you can concede it to, I just did it for money, then you can't say nothing, the food reviewers, 'cause you can assume they also are doing it for money, even if you don't think that is where Keith Lee's core and core values are. - That's what Shane's saying, he's saying, do it for your money, but he's saying if you can get it, make your money, but he's just trying to establish it, you're not qualified to assess it. - Or it's detrimental to some other people that you could potentially be critiqued. - We've heard enough of this to be able to fight out, right? - Yeah, I think so, yeah. - Yeah, 'cause I, again, that was one of conversations and we have these arguments up here at some time, where we talking past each other. It's some of us frustrating to hear two people talk and it having two very different conversations. - Yes. - And I'm like, what the fuck are you talking about? - And I think, I think the conversation pivoted. - Yeah. - And I think it was a good conversation in the, yo, 'cause I think what changed was headed was, yo, this could potentially be detrimental for people that look like us. And I think the conversation got away from that. - I don't like that, though. I don't like that, because so now I'm supposed to look the other way and give a favorable opinion because you look like us. - Or say nothing. - Or say nothing. I'm so they know that it's only review. So now I'm kind of not being true to what, to what my thing is, yeah, my audience, I'm not being true to them because I'm not gonna go review the places that look like us because if I give them a bad review, that might hurt them. So I'll stay away from those and just go where it's okay to leave a bad review. - I mean, it's a tough situation. I mean, if somebody invites you to their place of business for a review, then they, I think they should accept what comes along with the review. - Exactly. - I agree. - Did he start off like that? Like, 'cause I remember I was talking about him years ago, did he start off invite only? - I doubt it. - I don't think so. - I don't think so, because I remember some of the adversity before he was based on it wasn't invite only. Now, if it's invite only, he's gotten big enough to where a review from Keith Lee could help my business. So now I'm inviting you in, then that's the one thing you gotta take what comes along with that. You get what I'm saying? You gotta take what comes along with that because you asked me to come here. - I mean, even if you didn't ask to come here, if you're putting anything out, whether it's food, music, service, whatever it is to the public, you have to open yourself up to some level of review and critique. - Yes, I agree. - Our whole fucking internet economy, damn near, revolves around critique. - I mean, I think if we're looking for a vestual leader, we're looking for the best vacuum cleaner what the reviews say. If we're looking for a restaurant, we're looking for four or four or five stars on Yelp or whatever it is. - Especially in service and hospitality. - Yeah, absolutely. - Like, you can't be in service and hospitality and not expect a review from somewhere. And what I think is kind of what, with the celebrity aspect, these places think, okay, let me invite Keith Lee. Will we know Keith Lee's coming? We're going to roll out the red carpet. What they didn't know is Keith Lee going to send somebody in there that's affiliated with him that y'all don't know, exactly. It's like secret shopper type shit. Like, and that person's going to get a real experience. You asked me to come here for the review. You don't know how I conduct my review. It ain't just me walking in here. And a lot of places getting exposed to bad business. Oh, I'm not going to say bad business, but there are things that are being highlighted that they might not want the public to know. But that's on the business at the end of the day. Yeah, I don't see him doing nothing wrong. - Word of mouth is just part of owning a business. - Any service business. And it's frustrating sometimes. I'm going to open my coffee shop. We have a above average coffee, but we do a specialty coffee. Like, we have a above average coffee, but if you're only famous reference for coffee, it's Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks. You might say, this doesn't taste like this, or this is what a macchiato is. That's not what y'all have. Starbucks is poison with a macchiato is. It's an entirely different thing. So I might feel like two chains does. Like, you don't actually know enough about this. Or your taste buds aren't tuned to know what good or bad is. But you got to charge it to the game. Because 99% of our reviews are excellent. And I just have to accept it. The person that goes on their Facebook page and makes a review, this is sad. The macchiato wasn't sweet. It's like, you know, I just got to say, you don't know what the fuck you talking about. - And that person, okay, cool. You didn't like it. That's your opinion. But it is frustrating. - It's a way to critique though. Like, because if you have a hundred people that go to Uncle Bobby's, right? And a hundred people can give their opinions. If one person who's opinion is weighted, way, way, way more heavily comes into Uncle Bobby's and now shits on a coffee, then that is a way, way, way different level of a critique than the other 99 people that just happen to be reasoned through Uncle Bobby's. - Yeah. - For sure. - So it's a little, remember when you used to be on Twitter. - And still on Twitter. - I mean, but used to be active on Twitter. Ice, at one point, from what I hear, 'cause I wasn't ever on Twitter, but I've heard this from mad people. Ice had the ability to sway somebody's first week album sales. - Wow. - Right? So, dog, if a nigga puts out a project, that's the money, that's the blood, that's the sweat, that's the tears. Going into this project, you don't know what I might have sacrificed for this particular project. So now if ice gets in and say, yo, this shit is trash, or it says whatever, right? That person could feel a way about that critique. So, for us to say, yo, dog, nigga, you put a project out, you give and take what it comes with, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I think it's a little insensitive sometimes, and I think sometimes, especially in the rest of my business, I could have had two people call out today. And you just so happen to come in on a date or two people called out. Now, your service might have been as quick as we typically are. It's just a lot of variables that come on with it. - They don't like to be critique or the biggest critics. So, it's just what's out of the coin you stand on. - I see where you go with your ice example. I just don't love the example. - I'm just, yeah, I just off the con. - I'm talking about this as an example when we review music appeared. We've pissed people off. - Wait, no, no, no, great. - I don't like the music example in a service and hospitality conversation. - Okay, stay tuned. - Because music is so subjective, you could pull a hundred different people and get a hundred different answers. - That's true. - But I got a good one. - In service and hospitality where people are just coming to eat, like, or get a massage or get, whatever, in the service industry, get their roof done. I don't think it takes so much to be able to recognize bad service. I don't think you need to be really an expert to recognize bad service. And I think that's across the board here in America anyway. You go somewhere, if you're waiting too long, if the place is not so full, and it's taken a while for the food to come, if they're not coming to check on you, or if you can't get a table period, which is not my business to speak on Atlanta restaurant shit, but the word has been going around for quite some time about Atlanta restaurants, and how you can't get a table, and how it's $50 valet to a fucking party, and how it's hookah smoke in there. Well, niggas are trying to eat French toast, and y'all got a DJ for breakfast, and it's a party in a club. That word has been there for years, actually. And maybe that's the culture that y'all wanted to curate, but when people just come in to get a meal, but is that fair to hold them, if that is the vibe in Atlanta, and that is the vibe at Two Chains Restaurant, is it fair to critique them if that's the normal? That's the culture, or is it just that? What's happening? That particular place is not for you. If you don't want hookah around your motherfucking French toast, don't go to wear this hookah around your body again, if I'm pretty and I'm invited, I'm going there. If I'm a critic and I'm not invited, if I'm not invited, and I just go to restaurants, and I sit there and it's hookah smoke being blown in my face, I'm going to my yolk and I'm saying something about this. I'm going on platform the whole shit. Y'all, and what I know this is, again, difference between music and music, and service and hospitality, and service and hospitality, your celebrity will almost certainly act in reverse, Because, and I've seen, I very rarely have seen a celebrity open a restaurant in Goggle. good review. They killed Paddle Bell president. They killed fucking the baby. That's what I'm just talking about. I'm older. They was killing not Paddle Bell. Fucking this is another one. It's another one. But anyway, they who had the fucking waffle house, the French toast, it was one of not Paddle Bell. Was it Gladys? Gladys. Gladys night. I ate there. Yeah, I was terrible. I ate there too. I had bad experience. The food was for I had a bad experience. I ate there too. What is bad is what I was seeing. But if you're a celebrity and people are coming here, the expectation is almost even higher. It is. And they think that you got a post on each department of this restaurant. And they probably don't. That's why they don't. They don't eat them. They don't eat them. They hide their ownership. Like even GZ, GZ said he opened a steakhouse in Atlanta. And he said the shit was popping until the people found out that it was his steakhouse. And so a lot of people will hide that shit and not let people know that they even have a part in it for that very reason. Yeah, I would hide it. But also if I'm a celebrity, I'm going to make sure that the one part, my business or restaurant don't fail in service. Yeah, just be kind. Yeah, like it goes well from if you do all the little things right. Yeah, it goes a super long. Yeah, great people at the door. Make sure people are seated within a decent amount of time. But I give you an example. Flip. Remember the place, the restaurant. Yeah. Yo, the special chicken nuggets spot. Yo, stupid. But now I went I went to a spot at Reservations the whole night worth service. I have experience. And I came I came in here out of respect. I wanted to air them the fuck out. Just because even just go fuck I didn't expect nothing. Those special treatment. I got that bottom treatment in a spot. I'm like, oh, it's too easy. It's crazy. I heard about you. I don't like it. But yeah, but but you make a call, everything changed because you know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah. And when it's that's celebrity shit shouldn't change nothing though. Sure. Oh, right. If you don't know what they shouldn't change. No, no, no, I'm what that for. No, when I say shouldn't change nothing, your regular walking customer should not be treated less than. Yes, that's true. No matter what. Yeah, you give your celebrities preference to treatment. Okay. But your regular customers Don't get treated shit get shit get shit get get shit. Yeah, it's a baseline standard should be good Celebrities and not even you don't have to be a celebrity regulars or local Politicians or someone's just popular in the neighborhood. It's always like that's what you know trying to say You know why he said you know why celebrities get that treatment because y'all got a network We don't want you to shit on us. Y'all probably have a voice to platform all these things We want you to have a great experience here. Yeah, yeah, so yeah So now you don't know keeping and I want you spread the word. Yeah, no people in town You know, I got the spot to take you to it's great over here. They don't bother you out the out the way we cool Let's go over here, and I'm okay with that It's a couple things one I do I agree with you the music is different But sometimes these food reviews go past Surfers of hospitality they go into the actual food itself and that's where it does become subjective like you know Like you say like of course these wings are too salty or you know this soup wasn't and at that point You just have to try you you have to begin to trust the critic. It's just like when music critics It's a critics when they say album is good or bad. I don't listen to them because I don't care what they think I don't care about this website says this person. I'm okay with I'm okay with all of that. I think As a critic one thing to think about is I know with me like if an album comes out back when I used to do music the long time ago like when music will come out If it was a big album you had to review if Jay-Z comes out you got to say something about it no matter what yeah But if it's an artist who I don't know as well and the album is asked I just don't Say anything say if it's good. I'll promote it small business if it's a good small business It's just point if it's a good small business. I'll say this is the best food. I've had it if it's the worst food I've ever had I may not say anything about it, but again the celebrity restaurant Everybody's talking about it. That's part of it. That's part of the job So if you're too changed you got to expect but they didn't even know it was hit He's saying niggas didn't even know it was his but then it even came out later that Keith leave it never even reviewed or critique me that was mr. Chime time. It was another guy But um, oh he's mad at Keith Lee. They want to be help? Yes, or just appears to be the case. I mean, I think that the Sentinance still remains the same Critics in general. I feel like other people have criticized Keith to Yeah, my other thing with if there's an expectation on me as a black man to Have grace for black on for certain things in the black with a black-owned business Then I expect reciprocity when it comes to that like when you see a black person walk in Yeah, yeah No, you know, like you're back when you see me walking like that in New York in Atlanta March, you said it when you walk in everybody see New York is just different cultures So like you go to DC you go to Atlanta you go to New York. It's just a different culture and Atlanta everybody's black So preferential treatment is just gonna be the bar to what I said saying that the typical hospitality and service should just be good See that's more the reason for me. I'm not disagreeing, but yeah, I'm not disagreeing with you That's even more the reason, but it's a black spot. It should just be all black city all black and all people. Yeah Yeah, what's what's the debate we looking up for us now? I didn't love how two James explained No for real Then what was I about to say before you start a coffin you didn't like all the way to change explain I didn't like how he explained celebrity perks Thank you. I didn't love it. It wasn't great I didn't and I think that's the part that the internet is on his ass about which I don't disagree with what he was saying about it I just disagree with how he presented it and how he perceives it and how he perceives it is tonality He he spoke he spoke. I'm not saying he believes this because two chains is a friend of the show word and I know To be a super cool dude. We love him. I don't know if he believes this He came off like that behavior is to be expected What behavior though Perks perks for so any perks for celebrities any special preferential treatment if you're a celebrity that behavior should be Expected because that's coming with the life and many celebrities probably feel like that Joe you feel like no, let's talk about it. Let's talk about what happened as a celebrity I could have called in let him know I was coming had him roll out the red carpet. I could have shown my face I could have thrown a fit. I didn't do nothing show Tiana's face. I don't do that. Okay. I don't do that I don't throw my celebrity around you guys cut. This is just back. I saw Matiana though is a I don't throw my Like that's a fact Nigga nigga my face is the ID card, but that's true. It's I actually understand that because there's nothing more frustrating Than a bouncer stopping you tell you they love your work. Tell me the big fans That's the time when I do that's time when I do I don't say no, but I'll be irritated in a month Somebody knows who you are as but I don't know because I'm not it should it should you should not feel entitled To other people treating you a certain way because you're a celebrity that should that should be a perk of Bonus and additive enough of it and when that and when that happens and that's a mistake But when that happens consistently, that's your norm. Yeah, now it should do not entitle to that You're thinking that it as entitled. Yeah. I just think it comes with because if that case you should have went to the back of the line You get what I'm saying like no hear me out. Don't get frustrated. We have in the conversation if you're not entitled to this perk Then when a do to go to the back of the line, you should have gone to the back of the line No, that's not what I'm on because I work my ass off to two changes point you just reiterated that before we even opened up the clip Nigga, I work my ass off to come to this middle line and have me and my family go in without going to the line That's a perk that celebrity is in bridge and you didn't go to a show because they left your tickets in my name And you was like no, I'm not going because I'm Joe button my ticket should never do man I thought that was Joe. No, he was that serious. Oh But again, I think that speaks to my point. I'm not if I'm not gonna be treated a certain way somewhere I'll stay home. I'm not coming out to make sure that y'all treat me a certain thing. You don't think they were wrong You just didn't want that experience I There is a difference. Okay, I'm listening. There is a difference if you're outraged like they they were wrong for how they treated me That's a entitlement saying I want to get to that middle door and if they don't let me the middle door cool It's your party, but I'm leaving that's not entitlement to me. That's preference. It's still a title. It's just how you actually I don't know if you make a stink about it. If you just Participate then that's not Expectation is the entitlement What do you mean? What is what is you leaving? Let me look up the word based on Not getting what I expect it. What is an entitlement title to it? I don't feel like you owe it to me I feel like this is what I want this is what I deserve is what I prefer - And if I don't get it, then I leave. - Yeah, I don't think I can get Google. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - I mean, even with the mention of a title, man. - We're so. - Okay, maybe it's entitlement, but it's not like a negative intent at all, okay. - You two are saying this, okay. - And I'm saying it like that. - I don't believe it's entitlement. - But you two are definitely saying two different things. There's a nuance here, right? Some people are like, "How dare you treat me this way?" I'm not leaving until I get in his motherfuckers. - Yeah, it's not what I thought changed his point was. - I didn't hear chain say, "How dare you?" I thought chains was saying, "Yo, fam, since the beginning of time, superstar, fuck him." He wasn't even talking since the beginning of time. - 'Cause I was been. - Yo, Marlon Brando goes somewhere, he's getting in. Frank Sinatra goes somewhere, he's getting in. Fucking Brad Pitt or Angelina or fucking Dimsel. - Tell the publics and get my fucking treaty bird off the wall. - Jordan, Michael Jordan is getting in. - And if it's that, I'm good with it. What I heard him say was the idea of feeling like he's owed it. - Yes. - And I think he used the word owed. - That's the part that makes it, that's the part I take. - I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, that's what I got from him. And he didn't say, he didn't speak to what happens if Rick Flair is not seated immediately when he goes to the wash house, because that is what he was inclined. Like if you don't treat me a certain way, then fuck y'all, it's up in a mouth raise. - I mean, 'cause I'm a celebrity and you should treat me a certain way. - Y'all, I don't act nowhere near. I'm surprised y'all too. - No, you don't, you don't do the outrage part, but you will lose it. - I don't go nowhere. - You call Tiana. - That's not outrage, it's not outrage, bro, it's in it to, it's not outrage. It's still going above and beyond what the person that would have had to go to the back of the line would do. - But here's why I see a different, I get your point, I get your point, but here's why I see a different, there is a system at this party. The party, the system is celebrities getting in this door. He wasn't asking for something that they weren't giving. He was for, I don't know, I'm gonna use your word first, he was trying to make it clear that he was among the people who deserve this thing. - Without showing his face. - That part, that's a wild, that part's nuts, but I'm with you in that. - 'Cause I think I'll hold your chance. - That part's nuts. I thought he's had, I took that as tongue in cheek, but regardless, like, take that part of sex, that's not my point. I'm saying that if the restaurant has a celebrity entrance, I want to go through it. If there's a line, I'm not saying me, I'm saying me is too true. If there's a line and there is no celebrity entrance, I can either, I'll leave the wait, or I'll go home. - I'm not going to expect you to make a line for it. - What do you expect, though? On the walk up? What do you expect? If you know the restaurant has a celebrity entrance. - I expect to be, I expect to be, I expect to be laying through this celebrity line. - That's the entitlement right there. Now what you do afterwards, see, I don't think that's interesting. - The definition of entitlement is a belief, excuse me, excuse me, there's other ones. But this is the one that applies, belief that one is deserving of or entitled to certain privileges. - So for this-- - That is the privilege. I'm going through this door. - That, so if you are expecting this, that speaks to your entire life. - No, but based on what they're offering, that's why I'm making the distinction. I'm saying, if I just walk to a restaurant, you ain't got no celebrity such as, I'm going to ask you to-- - I don't want to do gym pop. - I'm not saying that. I'm saying, if there is one, and I am clearly one of those things, I want that thing. But if you don't have it, I leave. - I also think the definition that you gave is different from how it's colloquially used. - Yeah, that's what I'm saying. - That's what I'm saying. Y'all are please-- - Yeah, that's what I'm like-- - Okay. - The only way that we're using it is I'm putting up a stink if I don't give my-- - And it's a character thing. You have a sense of entitlement. You think you owe this. You think it's a bratty, kind of, almost like-- - So you know what I'm saying? - He's speaking to the-- - Yeah. - Actually, it's taken after-- - Yeah, I'm not. - What you-- - Or even how you see it. I want more-- - To me-- - Yeah, I see more-- - Yeah, yeah. - But to me, it's like, I want more than what even what you're given, because of who I am. And to me, if they already given it, that's not a super big deal. But there was another thing he said that I didn't like before we go to Brad. He said, "I work too hard." That's the part to me that I find frustrating to everyday people who work hard. Forget the restaurant. Because to me, the best argument for seating celebrities is giving them such special entrances is that it creates a mess if you don't. You don't want Kanye West standing line at your restaurant, with 10,000 people dancing. I know that. I mean, there's a million reasons to let somebody through a security entrance at an airport that are good reasons. - Mm-hmm. - Or just to get them through quickly. - Yeah. - Sometimes I feel differently about this and those I feel like, look, if I got to stand in line and take 50,000 pictures, and I'm going to also promote this thing, then God damn it. Yeah, let me sit down, right? That feels like a fair quid pro quo, whoever the person is. But my frustration is, when you make it sound, is if your hard work has earned you this airport thing, when the person waiting in line might have saved three lives as a surgeon. - Right. - You know what I mean? That person might work, might be digging ditches at home. - I think he's saying, "I work too hard to get to this point." So whatever it is, whether I be an entertainer or athlete, the work I put in to get here. - I get it. - But specifically to get me here, though. - That's a part of it. - I work too hard to become a celebrity to gain the perks. - Yeah, I, the shit that comes with being a celebrity, I work too hard to become a celebrity to not get these things. - That's always the part that's going to rub people to rub. - I'm telling you, that's what rubbing people to rub. - You don't, because you said, I'm not trying to bring you back, but Joe just said that when he gave the story to go on the Tiana's party. - Joe said, "Yo, I work too hard for this." - I think that was the job, that was the job. - That was a call. - He was a call for it. - A call for it. - But Doug, I just, I'm agreeing with you. - I'm just saying, along with celebrity comes perks, and that's across any celebrity. - I agree. - Like, no, don't go somewhere, my nigga. He's not waiting outside. - Again, to local. It could be that's all this. - Local police officers go in a dunk in Donuts. They get moved to the front. - From the air of his small town. - That's the pay. - Yes. So I just think school football comes along. It just comes along with that level of, of no the riot. - I think celebrity should get perks. I also think that you're not better than nobody because you get a fucking perk. - No. - And that's a fairly work part. - That's harder than nobody. - A thousand percent. - Because you get a perk. You running around with the attitude, posture, and verbiage of somebody that gets more deserves more and should have more. You come on from. I'm not talking about two checks now. I'm saying period. - Period. - Period. - I want you. - This is me talking. - I think you're going right into money. - I'm not never going to be against the lives getting perks, y'all know I'm into that shit. But you ain't better than nobody, nigga. It'll make you better. - No. Hell no. - Who's the best celebrity perk you ever got? - That I've ever gotten, I couldn't even, I couldn't, I couldn't say. I'm too blessed. That's a problem with celebrities, yo. When you speak, you got to remember just how blessed you are. And when you start sounding like you forgot that amongst other people, you come off nuts. There's no way around it. Like you hear some of the basketball players in recent years, stating out when the reporters ask 'em real pressure. They'd be like, "What Mark just said, the person that's doing brain surgery is under pressure, the person that the fireman has to run into the burning buildings on pressure." I play basketball, yo. I play a game that I love. - That I would play. - Yeah, I'm blessed to be a real man. None and nothing about this is pressure. When you start losing sight of the blessing that the privileges come with, what a blessing it is, then you lose. - And again, I think that that argument clip, all that shit, neither side really got their points off the clearest and they're talking past each other to your point. So I want to give some grace to chains in that. - I do as well. He believed for me is tough to hate. - I've heard from people that know I'm personally, that he's just an amazing person. Like Nick said, yo, he's just an amazing person and then to his point, because I am really, I'd stood more on the two chains side, but people said personally, he's just an amazing dude. He gives back to the black community overwhelmingly. And so you're getting, you want to shout that out too, even for people that don't know about it? It's just dope. I heard he's just a good dude. I like how his thought process works. I mean, he does come off socially awkward to me. I'm saying that as a socially awkward person, like watching that. I even love that. I love him being out and having the talks. This interview was great. - It was. - Yeah. - There's a lot of other great shit in the interview too. - A lot. It's a shame. - Yeah, no. Keith Lee was talking about all of the current Franklin joints. - Yeah. - So a lot of to help stuff in there. - I love Kirk Franklin coming back and letting two chains know that you were indeed sensitive. My boy. It was since they've ain't done wrong with it. Which leads me to another point, I don't think most of these celebrities know that they sensitive. - Oh, facts. - That's part of the entitlement. - People don't know that they sensitive. - Yeah, that part too. - Yeah. - Yeah. - You know what? I'm not talking about people. I'm just saying, it ain't just celebrity. That's a lie. - It's more highlighted with a celebrity. - Yeah. - A lot of people. - Yeah, but I'm speaking about celebrities because there's so much more for them to be sensitive to when you talk about the volume of comments and more people could see it. - Yep. - Like as a celebrity, your words, your post-sign line, your fucking reactions, the shit on line is under a microscope, except everything. - Everything. - Everything. - You got to recalibrate. - I'm sorry. - You just want people to celebrate you and then that's it. - That's not what I say. You got to recalibrate. - Exactly. You get criticized, it heads differently. - The smallest criticism feels like the biggest disrespect because you're used to everybody loving you and telling you how easy it is. - It's really. - Like, who would ever think that two chains are sensitive? - No. - No, man. - You've been sensitive at this table. - Really? - You've been hearing and telling what you're like. - Yeah. - And it's been powerful. - Yeah, man. - No, they're funny partners. - I might don't know. They're really. - We ain't no crime, baby. - You know what they're funny partners? - No, we ain't saying that. - And I don't feel like it's true. - Kirk Franklin was, Kirk Franklin was saluting him and complimenting him. - Yeah. - And because in our community, sensitivity has been bashed. He immediately said no. - He got defensive. - I ain't sensitive. - Right. - No, it's okay to be a sensitive person. We should all be sensitive. It gives us some fucking empathy for other people. You understand what I'm saying? Or how somebody could potentially be feeling. He immediately rejected it like, nah, nah, nah. - Yeah, of course you're not sensitive. You hearted and why are you hearted? Like what did you go through to make you lose? You're born with that stuff, you know? - Okay, okay. - I can flip. - Yeah. - Yo. - I knocked you out, nigga. - Hey, you're doing that. I'm not about that. - Yo, for the people that believe that because you have a black business, I should support all black businesses. How are you able to, what's your way to critique them? How would you critique them? - Me personally? - It's very personally. - Me personally. - I just, they can't get them on my money. - So you're not gonna let them know that this may be bad, this may not take it. - I wouldn't publicly do it. But you wouldn't do it privately, neither. - Y'all could. - Would you probably go to a white business? - I do. - So you'll go to the chef? - I went to a restaurant, a hood soul food restaurant. In a few years, no, maybe five years ago, in Philly, and it was the worst service I've ever had. The woman was the outright disrespectful. I found her owner, black woman, told her the whole experience. She blew me off. So I just stopped going to the restaurant. - Yeah, I wouldn't go you. - But I gave it every opportunity I could. - For them to fix it. - Yeah, if I don't-- - And I love that food. - If you, if I don't like your food, if I don't, again, 'cause now in a service business it opens it up. If you are dry cleaners, if you are plumber, if you are whatever the case may be, and I don't like something about you and I spent my money there, I'm gonna let you know. - I just felt like when we talk to the youth, and I feel like there's a lot of misleading, meaning that when two trains are speaking and he's saying, well, it's a black business, so us at black, you as a black person should not criticize that. If it comes off like that, to the people that are younger and saying that, you should, it can come off that you should be critiqued. - No, I mean, we're not giving examples of what's the best way to criticize this person. Okay, fuck it, not publicly. But they should know that this is bad and stuff like that. Not just 'cause you're a black business, and I'm a black man. I just, oh, let me, no, look, the other way. - I just continue to support you. - And a lot of people use that, a lot of people play that line. That line, we gotta stop blurring that line. - That's my pain. My pain was, I'll pull you to the side, I'll let you know. We know people that have businesses. I'll pull you to the side and be like, yo, that blah, blah, and hit, you know what I'm saying? - I don't, boy, dude, oh, the girls brought it in. - You got a Mexican nigga making colla greens. - Yeah. I'm telling you, I've had these conversations, but I won't get on a public forum and be like, yo, the food over there is shitty. I won't do that. - Would you get that to any platform, or is it just not black old? - I would do it to answer your question. I would do it to a white one before a black one. - Okay. - Thousand percent. So again, I want this shit to succeed. I want this particular business to succeed. So if I can help them behind closed doors, that's a help to me. - Got it. - Me shitting on them niggas publicly is not a help. I think that's more harm than help. The only thing I would add is when it comes to certain closing, and closing flip is I also tell black people to always resist the urge to hold us to a different standard. 'Cause people always let a complain about soul food restaurants. I had to wait 25 minutes and they would sit there with that vibrating ass remote control at the Olive Garden for an hour and a half. - And as far as I was told to wait, was an hour, you fucking wake an hour and then take a head. - Have a man video and we have a police inquiry. - I'm feeling proud about it. - Right, thousand percent. - So I just, don't hold us to an impossible standard and understand what building and growing. So we might need a little more grace. Not less. - That's a great point. - Great point. - Yeah, I'm, I'm what you're 100%. - This is the point where you tell us. - Yeah. - You make a quickie remark and then take us to your favorite part of the show. - I was gonna make a remark within I was worried about how we'll maybe come off to the large audience. - Yo, what? What's the remark? - My whole thing making nobody wait an hour and that's back to the point a little bit. - Yes and no. - Yep, that's not true. - That's why I use the Olive Garden example. - I'm just giving you, I'm giving you an example. - I know what you're talking about. - I don't have to talk about car bones specifically. - I'm just saying, but I didn't even wanna say that. - No, to use them. (laughs) One day, they jam pepped. - Yeah. - My man got a black car. He calls them, he calls a American Express, American Express gets a table in car bones. So that is one of the perks again that come along with this certain level of celebrity or it is certain level of status. That's across the board. - If I got a black car, there's a few perks that I'm gonna be explaining. - You get what I'm saying, but that's just one. - That's just a perk. - If I have a black car, now this sounds like a fun topic. Like, not only do I expect them to clear a table when I walk in, but I want a front row seat while they do it. - Oh, you wanna watch hands-nacks? - Yeah. - You wanna watch it? - Make a sense. - When Henry, you wanna do that. - Yeah, I wanna do that. - On good terms. - Yeah, you know what the awkward moment, you know what's like an awkward moment, depending on which side you are. And I promise we get into that ad now. Like, when you go to the spot and they say, "Yo, you got a section." And the lady is walking you to the section, but it's somebody's in there. - Oh my God. - Yeah. - And now you gotta be the guy to stand there. - You look like the dick that kicked him on this section. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. - It looks bad. - It looks bad. - It looks bad. - It looks bad. - Joey, you know what, yo, yo, yo, yo. - It looks like a moron. - Joey, it looks like a moron. - You like to wear out. - You like to bug him. - This thing is crazy. - You like to watch them leave. - Joe, no time you like to stay there watching. - It's not, uh, Joe, I stay in the balcony. - You ask me to really answer. - Please do. - Joe, do you, Joe, are you crying? - My answer to this question, and then you can go to ice, is it depends. - On? - It depends. - Boy, try not to wheeze his way, go ahead. - No, I'm telling you. - I'm telling you. - It depends on the goings-ons, when we arrived at that table. - True. - I agree with that. - What's happening here? Is this just some unsuspecting people that was sitting there in mind their business, and how you being addicted to these people? Nah, I'll probably go over there and talk myself to smooth whatever the fuck they say. - Got it. - And shit. - But if you over there, on some raw rowdy, like, this your shit, and we ballin' and fuck everybody. You know, if you butt shit, you knock 'em down the pipe. - I can't wait, this lady to tap you. 'Cause you see us walk over here. You see, you know what the walk is about. Some people try to take a long time doing it. - Some people might not know. - No, you know that walk. - I promise you, I promise you, you know that walk is about. - It's awkward, but you know that walk is about. - No, they don't care, but right now it's gonna turn us up. - I was in a spot recently, and some people have finished eating their food. Before these niggas damn near, paid the check. They took their tables and moved both tables to here. - Oh, the sky, I didn't think. - Yo, that's crazy, it's like, this is my last time coming here. We should have took a long time to pay the check. As soon as we paid the check, they kicked us out. - And there was two tables in the egg. - Oh, listen, man. - Let me ask y'all a question. Let me ask y'all a question, and I promise then we moving on. - I'm dead out. - How long do y'all think you should be able to stay at the table once the check is paid? - Shot it, this is good. By the way, thank you. - She made it? - What the heck? This is shit, I ain't gonna lie to see. - You asked her to make it. - No, no, no, I didn't, I didn't ask. No, what's your spread? - You gotta go, you gotta go, what? That shit, you gotta go, shit. - This is perfect, you know what I mean? - I can see why you're being the crib. - I can see, I didn't get it, I didn't get it at the top. - You playing on the rim, never. - Yo, this is well-made. - Oh, look at him, my fiancee. - Never, never, never. - Thanks for making this, I see what you say. - Yo, you gotta go, you gotta go, you gotta do what it's crazy. - Yo, you gotta go, you gotta go. - Hey, you say it, you say it, you say it. - Have you a say it? (laughing) - Wow. (laughing) - Wow. - Dude, it's all right, stop, everybody stop. - Can those say that's fine, I'm playing my family. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no. - That's not good. - Thank you. - Answer the question. - I'm 30 minutes, I feel like there's more. - You're 30 minutes. - 15, ish. - Yeah, I'm about 15, 20. - Ice. - Yeah. - Something in there, about 20 minutes. I'm not asking for the check until we're ready to go. Until the ice is melted in your drink. - In there. - If you're sitting there with a fucking glass of watery whiskey, you gotta get the fucking out of here. - But, Pogs, you work in the field, right? What's the grace period, would you get people or would the restaurant say it? - Are we slammed? - Yes, you gotta go. - Slam. - Really? - You gotta go. - Yeah, but as soon as you pay-- - You're welcome to go sit at the bar or, you know, you'd say it a nice way. - Yeah. - But if you're sitting there bullshitting with fucking empty glasses, no, it's time to leave. - I'm taking up space. - All right, we did it. - What's your opinion? - Shall I do it? - How you doing? - Didn't they spill a drink or do you want to hide it in there? (laughing) - Tell me what you got. - Tell me what you got. - What's up with this guy? - I'm not gonna, I'm not-- - What's up with this guy? - I ain't gonna rush to even pay the check. - No, you say it once the check is paid. What's your timeline that you want him to be out with? - Oh, once I pay it? - I mean, if you're a restaurant. - Oh, no, if I'm a restaurant. And I'm, it's gonna be jam. - If I'm a restaurant, Keith Lee and him should come over here. (laughing) If I'm a restaurant, prime time, time, time, chimichurred, all these niggas. - Yeah. - Okay, don't come to mind you, dawg. - I can't. - If I'm a restaurant, you gotta go. Get up. - Okay, five, two, three, four, five, two, three, four, - I'm talking shit, how big is my restaurant? - I think it don't matter, I think it's just a little slit. - Actually, take the check with y'all and pay that up there at the door on your way out. Y'all gotta go. - You know what's funny when the restaurant niggas, some of them will tell you ahead of time, how long your reservation takes. - Yeah, that's what they tell you. - And that never feels good, but I understand. - Nah, I respect it. - Yeah, you got two out with it. - I know this shit, lit. - I know exactly what that was. - You sit down, you, the place is ready. - Yeah. - Yo, that's the, that's the same thing. Well, you know what else I've come around on? Did I used to really be against? I promise I'm doing a prize mix answer. But this is fun now. You're, you're, you're large. Nobody in your large party can be seated until your party gets here. They used to really piss me off But it makes sense people be like it makes sense. I just hate that. No, it makes sense No, nigger. You took up a table for six and this three of y'all What if it's for ten and seven y'all a day? That's why I get If it's seven of y'all I got a seven Cedar OB. I got an AC. This was noriega Ran up on a do what's this do they sober facts sober facts sober facts is a food reviewer who runs up on restaurants We feel like things are Extremely overpriced and we've reviewed it. It's not for the people. He says this is not So let's see if I can break some of this down for you guys Sober facts a little while ago Went to left rack Mm-hmm mistake number one for sober facts. Yeah, and he had some choice words for nori Let me see if I can find so the facts is from that area here. We go. This is what he had to say about nori Yo, this is a message for no reiega the rapper. I'm right here when you grew up and growing on my way here I'm actually the kids do you know when no reiega the rapper lives who's that nobody knows who you are Even ask the door man next door. You know, we're no reiega. This nobody knows who you are But the reason why I'm making this video I haven't forgot how you disrespected me a few months ago We really gotta start now respecting you rich alcoholics you rich drug addicts you people do not motivate the people You should be even happy that black T.B. Once you all this for a second Okay, now I will play it. Let's play it again a little soundtrack His podcast broke you haven't had a hit in the decade broke and I'm telling you again every time you come to left Like you just go to the deli and buy a six pack bro. I told you you're an alcoholic. You a drug addict You got to get your leg together. You don't inspire. Nobody. You definitely don't inspire I'm gonna try to shit on me. Make history Supposedly, I was the man and what's supposed to be He should have just played in the head during the whole class Well, I like to know me. Shoot it to God and make you know me. You ain't ready. I'm slow down and wreck a lot Yeah, yeah, no, you see pride pride some other shit now just cry some other shit before But you know what? Listen man, like I said, I could have did you feel me? I'm paying on your camera I could have did a filthy right now Feel for me. No one's there. What are all the other dudes that just under his comments? Where y'all at? Positive all I said was stop saying nigga none of us are safe next not do it against the Puerto Ricans I'm not even Dorian's not Nicaragua's none of us Not even Ethiopian Not even right to be safe nigga. I saw my dad. Yeah, I had a positive So that's it man. So so so so please Before we stop your shit We think what do we think? What do we think? You should read progis book versus sober facts. I like the way nor he handled it at the book He should on me and that one. Oh, do you shit on you there? Yeah, kill me and I know recipes for my rest of it. We piece it up It's recipes prodigy man. What do we think sober facts? And look at properly, he did and I see the frustration a little bit like Yeah, you know, and oh boy, you think you handled it properly nor we absolutely yeah Yeah, I feel like I should play sober facts after the fact No, I'm doing the food review. We pose up. I see him. Yo, and I feel like you two all to try to beat people up Trying to do all this stuff, bro. That's a lot of pause it. Yeah. Never talk about it Wow, wow, while of a certain age fighting Should be a last resort option true Sometimes it is not like don't think that because people are 50 55 that There above it though, you shouldn't assume that no, but you you not just that when you put that energy out there and somebody now that same exact energy you can't now cry wolf no the better you should be you better thank god that it was nori and not somebody that you don't know that love nori like nori just made a quick little PSA for you some niggas that love him that you would have never saw coming or a nigga he did a favor for 20 years ago yeah that's still feeling that all of those people were there no but I'm saying the fact that you know him without nori yeah oh that's homie right there that was popping shit yeah that goes differently yeah I was just chilling bro no you wasn't man I wasn't the first a lot of people are here smoking and drinking they can't get super I feel like the most super guy I knew your city right now I'm just trying to spend some dollars on y'all and your old spitting knowledge can't get the shit smacked out of you could spit your knowledge without his name and the nigger can spit blood you just spit all the knowledge you want you you single nori out for what and what you do it right and disrespect for why you do it be prepared for whatever come with that and and and left rack you did that oh my god because that should be the end of that I don't care if you was in left rack I don't care if you say LA you jumped on the camera calling this man name out disrespecting him for a reason what was the disrespect him call him alcohol you said you alcohol you can't diagnose me as that left you know be left rack and 40 40 projects in the 90s for your new kids was like old block maybe not with the happenings but with word and rumor you wasn't just going over to if you wasn't from there and pulling the camera out they went they're talking to nobody a certain way you wasn't doing none of them projects over there in the 90s you was doing that too so to do it now and to say hey I just went around and nobody knows you well good thing people have been successful they moved they've grown who cares that the people who live here now don't know I am you trying to be funny yes and you're trying to be funny in a place where I'm from I could probably have something done you while I'm in on the Cayman Islands nigger so now to get on video talk about oh I would you chill under the table the road it's crazy you can't want to fight me because you're the other yet yes you can yes you can you yes oh mark you on the wrong side of history let me finish this clip and walk and I'll tell you what I always want to do this shit end up in jail what is that smart you're you're willing and bro bro didn't even let me speak every time I'm open now speak stop me stop me and I'm not gonna lie bro I'm a content demon bro there go there go marga I gotta get a little video off this shit we got no okay I already knew that she was gonna go viral but I was just doing my dancing and the thing is you saying to not say the n-word and you keep saying the n-word like what make it make sense bro and then you don't even let me speak bro like I'm not with the fighting shit I just think the facts bro and one thing I know if you speak the facts you do gotta be with the fighting shit you can't draw a line yes you think I dare it was there to pass the drug test bro and when whenever you want to see this is good I'll give it to y'all that's the thing I don't want to argue with people that haven't fought their deem so but facts there's any time for nobody to pull out the little plastic piss test them who are you to to sober facts got it he said y'all want to argue with nobody that haven't conquered their demons this is what he's saying this is this is this point break it down more and there's some shit the sober facts did and I made a video about this there's some things sober facts did that I don't agree with I'm not for all the internet games and I agree with y'all that if you play internet games you gotta be prepared to encounter people who don't play those games you gotta be prepared for that that's all I'm saying yeah but there's more than that because you said you you think nori handled it right I do that's the difference between that's why I disagree why because it's just words y'all every Joe is the main person up here telling some of us myself included that we overreact to just words that we shouldn't be fighting when people just use words can they fight can they fight I understand that but what I'm saying but I'm responding to his point about saying you you have to expect fighting and I'm saying I'm just agreement that yeah I'm saying we shouldn't expect fight but you said you well I want to know where you mean to tell me where you so let me say he handled it right so for me if I'm sober facts if I were giving advice to both of them it's to sober facts I would say stop antagonizing people don't go to people's projects talking shit you know that that signal something to people don't know why you doing it don't do all that screaming and yelling around our shit because to everybody I know in any place I ever grew up any place y'all ever grew up that mean you want to fight I get all of that so I'm not saying he should do that on the other side of that though is I understand what sober facts I don't know if y'all watch his videos but I've seen I've seen some but but you kind of have to understand so I've seen some of it he's somebody who conquered his demons of alcoholism and drugs cool and he goes around criticizing and I criticize he goes around calling people to be better not but sometimes but he also goes to deli's and pours out the liquor he tells people yo see you can beat no I'm saying his his whole mission is you can beat this I want y'all to beat this so when he's talking to nori he's talking to nori is somebody who runs a show where people get drunk on air and he's saying that's sending a wrong message and I don't have an issue with that I think you can criticize him for that big Sean basically said the same shit to him when he was on air he just did in a loving brotherly way which is a big difference and that's which is why I said my to sober facts you do you do know you have the rice one on drink chips one look at it I'm with you I'm not which I was saying but these people they're not to the world I don't love when people get sober and then criticize everybody who's not sober but I feel like he's doing less of saying fuck you for not being sober and more talking to people who aren't sober saying I want you to get right and he's critic but he is criticizing people who are promoting bad messages again plenty of criticism for sober facts all I'm saying is that if I'm nori and I'm nori nori is him right best podcast biggest hip-hop podcast biggest podcast in the world who's Noriega that's the guy saw in that video that's what I'm saying and so you're him I'm saying you can go on in front of a camera taking somebody who's in the cheap seats and running out to the cheap seats and threatening them or intimidating them is to me not the right man oh see I don't see I look at that all you did was feed his mind I look at the exact opposite he see could have saved that boy life because the next person might not play with you like that so that's why let me show you you know you don't a lot of times people with these cameras and these microphones and shit don't realize that real shit could happen to you outside that's true I go back to the when man on air lover ran up on Shorty and um Short Hill's mall who was just on Twitter just talking crazy don't know that the nigga right here and can see your tweets walk up on you with your boyfriend and was like yo you could have got fucked up for her just sometimes you just have to instruct people that hey there can be consequences to what you're doing you might not be thinking about them so going forward maybe you should uh move a little differently if you don't want those consequences now you wait them consequences rock out if he if he if he do says I'm not so nori didn't cut no camera he told him this kind No he told him cut it off. No he told him cut it off. I'm trying to make sure. Cut it off before we cut it off. Yeah. And again dude that's the right to make a camera. He's the right to make videos. What if dude doesn't cut the camera off then what happened? We gonna cut it off. You know we gonna cut it off. And that's my point. No that's what it should get stupid in the market. No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. It's no hurry to be doing that shit. But Mark. If you know he wouldn't have done it. No he wouldn't have done it. He wouldn't have done it. But he's not a tough guy. That's what he said in his resume video. He said stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. You calling people out there and then you got mad at Flip for calling you a sucker. And you was ready to go somewhere else because Flip called you a sucker. You were ready to go to Ferricon. No so look. So a nigga that I don't know that's calling me all of these things. One of my old hoods. And calling to my neighborhood like nobody around here don't know you. You ain't him. You ain't really from this neighborhood. Niggas there's repercussions that could come along with those actions. Right. And remember when I when I when we went to the whole issue you go up on this one. You spawned on a nigga for that shit. No let me say you the way you talk to me in the hallway. Will you give me good advice and call me down is what I'm trying to do with Nory. I understand why people get to that place. I'm not doing judgment about getting angry. I guess angry is anybody else. I don't fuck flip up. Yeah right. Yeah right. You're all like for me tomorrow because that was a good joke. I want to spend time with it. Good thing he's calling them down. Yeah I know. I know. Thank you. It didn't take him in there always. It would have been a rather. Could have got bad. I would have stopped. Got no. Yeah so know what I'm saying is again yo and this somebody that you see. Somebody that you love. So a stranger saying these things about you on a public forum. In front of millions and millions of people my nigga. And again I appreciate Nory for what he did. Yeah. I'm not going to touch you. I'm letting you know that you are touchable. Yes. You are accessible. And the least things can happen to you. Can I let the niggas speak that that was out there doing this thing? Here's a thing. What thing were you doing? Not like how he was doing it but there's consequences. Why were you doing it the way he's doing it? Because I was outside touching grass. Yeah I'm certain respect for how the streets operate. Hold on. The thing is that Cloud Chasing has become an all time high. Absolutely. I want to trade in some Cloud Chasing tactics. However, things like that happen. I understand what Mark is saying. He's saying that yo you are at a different level. Let it go. But it's not that. sometimes when you garnish respect outside and when you walk in these facilities and people respect you to have somebody that you don't know that nine times out of ten if you was in the same room with them they wouldn't even play with you like that to do that and you saying that oh I'm doing it for the sake of content and having an opinion well sometimes nigga you can't have an opinion I mean I guess it's American opinion no you can't know you can't it's how you deliver you can have you know when I'm saying just be prepared for what come with it your dog when the wolves in the room you don't have a fucking opinion sit your fucking rabbit ass down and shut the fuck up and so if you're opinion that you wanted to have you don't have when the wolf is in the room and he's saying nori wouldn't allow him to speak nigga you're grown man you want to talk you didn't want to talk you didn't want to speak you start stuttering and you start blaming it on content so again in real life and this is the problem with the internet yeah when the lion's is in the room some nigga shut the fuck up until the lion's leaf that's real life when you start talking in street shit these niggas don't be really bred from that nigga shut the fuck up when real uh what's your name say everybody's against until rogue gangsters come in the room no you're killing you don't even need no example no I'm just saying like and that's the real life shit bro niggas don't know who noriega is they think he's a podcaster when you really start talking to street niggas from queens that nigga got a resume you can watch all the interviews of nori it's a problem not the interviews yeah not the industry shit not the podcasting shit not the source magazine shit the shit when niggas is standing outside in the cold with guns on them that resume and niggas be thinking that these niggas is entertainers and they ain't gonna do shit that niggas are real street nigger turn entertainer turn run champ like yeah like that's it the shop of nori two bottle of nori I'm saying is because I love nori that's the point is that I thought you would really dig out nori hand of that because it was on some peace love this love and this is the thing it couldn't with the tin he just he gets kept it at six he wasn't at six but that's where our discrepancy is he was at three pick the number and I don't fear you three I'm saying whatever number it was it could have been love I'm not saying if I'm nori I ignore that shit because I ignore that shit like that's what I'm saying you know what niggas you know what 50 did you know what niggas act like they ignore shit they walk straight past the person and guess what happens at a part that's cool yeah then niggas is getting boot by pop head throw in the glass outside of that ignore shit that's all of us all day I seen it I bought this thing I think you know I think it boobies but I bought just you guys queens foot and I'm gonna make it the name I know it's all funny because two niggas I can beat up listen niggas was to see you and woke past you they do this right here this finger I Bad a what you at that one night perfection. That was a bad Sometimes you in and then I was a guy. I was talking to niggas did y'all think it niggas did y'all The kid y'all want to do on YouTube and in front of these cameras. I'm telling you guys listen to your inner voice Sometimes that shit is a bad bad. Yo, sometimes I miss old man. Oh me - me sometimes I miss old man Not all the time because old man. It was still old. Man. Oh, like you want people to change But sometimes the point When I was 23 talking all that gee you know shit and them they can see me in front of the radio station and put me close to that That was the first time you should see yourself. Just letting me Mark the touch laugh is what's going to When they put when they pull you close to be like hey, her would you say just letting you know couldn't went bad That's the warning that's great. This is walk away. That's all it needs. That's great a lesson should be learned Yes, that's the person that gets to great. She'd be like. Oh shit You try to get all that shit off the mix tapes Nah, I was with niggas as long on bullshit. Yeah, just not that day That's the other reason I turned in my street nigger car early Super early early it and most Because they have to be with you. Yep all the time like all the time the deli I was calling I was calling street niggas with awkward y'all roll me to the laundry man What the fuck it could happen to you. Yes, and as soon as it happened you know what niggas go and say Everything I say so if you want to be sober facts and talk that sober fact shit aggressively Just be prepped for kind of surprise at Mark's date, but I'm sure I think your mark it puts a lot of it sometimes He could say I've been what I got the same feelings about sober facts that y'all do I just want nori to have to respond to it So you saying that that's what I'm saying. I get what you want. That's where I am. Yeah, that's how nori handled it We all agree sober fact that I'm Exactly how nori handled it. That's what I'm just agreeing with y'all or how he's handling because again When I first saw I was like I thought it was ill and I was like, yo, I'm glad he handled it that way because it could have went a lot worse Because the inner and he's like, you know, stop me shit before we stop you shit all that shit. I was on that I thought it was great, but then I just thought about it more over the over the course of the day And even today, and I was just like no, it's too big for all it just ignore that nigga man Oxygen by responded and that's due got a viral video. What the lesson in that video. You know what happens next time what we know you don't respond the grace well You step it up a tear right tonight now you involved on some some so now would you and I then got to be normally it could be the next food person Well, you don't respond to warnings and grace, but what did he do that? See this is Yeah, and fat Joe's comment same thing just set it in a comment your dogs Please this is not what you want stop you playing the game that you don't want to play. Yeah, stop People are trying to warn you after a while the warning the warning is the courtesy you got to be from a certain lifestyle to talk like that Now when you hear about like niggas did to get a caron and all these records you you preparing From you're preparing for something. Yeah, when you talk you have to prepare like I'm going on a ledge and I'm prepared for whatever that comes with it I will move a caution, but I'm prepared So in fact, he's just what a talk slam people slam some of the pizza saying this over price I mean, I like that. He spoke for speak for the people a little bit is a little bit is too abrasive and it's too much And I don't know I didn't like no, I like I like his message not the act of it. So if he's saying that you know You got to feed the people feed the community the people can't afford this. I forget that part. I like that part I don't like slam in the pizza. I don't like wasting the food. I don't know what I What what was the I don't really I don't necessarily look at the sober facts do the way I look at Keith Lee Okay Tell me why Who are you to dictate with some of my charges for the goods? That's why got it. That's why I think he's pointing out people who Exploited that's why it's a context for you. You gotta watch the video. I think you watch the videos you might agree with that That's our part. Yeah, that's what he's doing. I don't like that's the throwing food away cuz Let me ask you something is Williamsburg the hood That'll more tricky question, right? Yeah, not a moron. I was there. I was there wins. They it was it has him in the hood for That's not a tricky question for some people it is he's going to some hoods and Saying hey, this is a hood and they really what it is. No, you know why you going on and but you way old look I got two which is this way. I think it's where it was going the rest of runs he going to are priced that way for a reason Yes, they're priced that way. It's not just you paying for food. You're paying for exclusivity Paying to not be around him and I think the people pay for that I agree But I think he's he flea is going in there and really judging the functionality of your place. Yes He's just popping up places that he feel like shit is priced too high Move around, but he's speaking for this place people through gentrification. So the fact that oh god, I mean you can say oh god But that's the point. He's saying this shit is for the hood, but it's actually not for the hood Nobody that says that see I don't I don't also don't believe that everybody that says that is true to that I agree I mean you believe it a lot more than I mean, I should believe it with him why he really not going to the hood slamming a pizza He is though. No, you know Williamsburg ain't the hood If he went to York and slammed the pizza, yes, what's next no, he gonna get pepperoni Niggas know where to fuck to go to do that stuff and that's my point Watch the rest of his videos is some saying I think if you see the videos just you see he is in the hood some time But again everything we do in the last two minutes who is making my point. I think which is what I hope which is We have said sober facts named more times in the last five minutes that anybody on the internet And any legitimate platform and said his name in life put together, and we wouldn't have done that if Nory hadn't run up What he wants my rebuttal to that Nory giving him grace possibly teaching him a lesson. I could save his niggas life Far greater work far greater than hey, you was hot on the park. I promise you sober facts Name would probably never get said again. No, and a bunch of 40 something euro niggas that was outside telling you that you got served some grace Should be a message to you and to other people that want to create similar colors. Yes. Yeah, but we're all that makes sense If we accept that talking shit or internet should get you killed or fucked up real bad. No, no, nobody said that This is the worst case scenario, right? That's what we say, right? I mean, we've been honest. I mean, that's not all back What we said is just respect people that don't tolerate this respect whether it's on the internet whether Anywhere in the world can get back to the first one, what did he do that was disrespectful? He called my alcoholic and a drug addict on a public platform and went to his projects where he grew up and said nigga You and nobody nigga. Don't nobody around here He didn't just critique certain shit so so he attacked him as a man. So no, I'm not. Oh I'm listening for a reason So alcoholic Yeah, it's a wild accusation against Nory Drugs and like I asked about the hood. They don't know your fraud. I don't think that's exactly what you said But let's assume that's what he was saying. Mm-hmm. Should that get you? Do y'all believe that should get you fucked up? Yes from no listen. Sure. No, no, no, no, my mark from a 50-year-old Mind of a man that has children. No, but from a nigga that was running around in these streets and knowing what the consequences are when you put Smud on somebody's name apps are fucking loot me. Yeah, you talking from cool. So homeboy has to see yo This is the new me the old me. I would have fucked you up No, I'm not wait wait watch your mouth before the old me comes back out mark It's the difference between homeboy saying that in front of fucking Carvel and saying it in front of left rack I'm which I this is where we miss each other. I understand the consequences of what he did I understand the idea of saying This could have went a lot worse for you and in 99% of situations with a nigga different than me Let's mature and develop the meat. It wouldn't work. I get all that. I'm not being obtuse about I get it I'm trying to push it push a step further and say That shit is actually unhealthy and fucked up and while I'm celebrating no if I'm not taking it there I'm saying the there itself is some shit that none of us should ever be doing anyway. I'm not disagreeing that that's all I'm saying but why can't we also say that you shouldn't be on the internet? Yeah, disrespect it. I started there Remember I started there. That's it. Yeah, it's been enough time here because we don't read on it We didn't we yeah, what I'm talking about is a cause and effect words having power Yeah, the power of manifestation and comic retribution and I believe in all of those things whole artically So you play stupid games you may one day win a stupid price and you can't bank on everybody a crack-and-shot You can't you can't you can't bank on everybody How much what am I trying to say you can't bank on everybody? Having a decision making within a split second right because nor is somewhere mine is business look to the side Oh shit, they go that nigga that was talking shit. Oh, no job. No, somebody might But that's my furthest my point that's still about a nigga that you don't know that got tentacles outside in real street Queens and outside in real New York and you running your fucking mouth and this easy I could get a phone call and but happen to be 10 minutes away from you and pull up and something bad to happen to you Yeah, watch your fucking mouth. I don't have to be there for something bad to happen to you Yo, you want me to take care of that yeah, I'll be here 10 minutes I'll be there and then when you see that person for the very first thing for you to say I got no I got no defense of them made a follow-up video Because that's what he do close itself He explained he explained fucked up situations and if the worst thing had happened if he said fuck you I'm not keeping it. I'm not turning this camera off and then he did get boo-bop to somebody end up in jail I'm fucked up and he's still making videos and nor is implicated who fucking one that's all I'm saying I don't I don't know defense of sober facts. I just don't like Nobody, but nobody won in the scenario. You just paint it, but that's not what happened No, but I'm worried about I'm explain why it's a bad choice because it could lead that it's very easily Go to so let me ask you to somebody that wants to be the next sober facts Don't you think no, I'm asking. Do you think them watching this makes them want to or say damn? Maybe I shouldn't be talking about motherfuckers because they could run up. I could word it a little differently I think it's the latter, but I don't know. Yeah, you got at least know how learn learn how to fight at least if you scream Okay, I go for you streaming niggas. There's too many of y'all scrawny and bad built Honestly, cuz the niggas sober facts are he was sounding old shook and timid and then when I fucking seen him like it next to a door frame I was like, oh, okay, the door frame look like yeah You are probably the person that you shut the fuck up like you you shouldn't be the one that's with the rock Oh, it wouldn't take much. Yeah, that's why I let that streaming nigga take your money Tyle ill you mean that that streaming niggas rather big and the streaming world. Okay, everybody who was somebody was there What happened? How do you love to party flip? I wasn't there. Oh Oh shit Thank you for the body. That was somebody Good to have been there. It is like flip. So I'm just talking to your bro. That was Marla. He was there. I ain't talking to him for like at least 30 minutes I thought he was there I apologize. I mean about that wife's coming up me last block. We I don't even remember what you tell about your last Part time. No, yeah, but the one that I don't remember two episodes. Oh, I don't remember it. Don't try to spin on flip I don't need I think it's help me yes you do No, what you talking about okay, listen, what I'm saying is that you set up I'm saying he's still you can't teach kids checkers. What do you mean about checker? Let me say you might still be frustrated about the comments at last I don't I don't pitch it in the comments. I really don't know what you don't know. Well, I'm not gonna get the details But the people will go a little longer. Okay, let's say you know me. It's peace Mark doing the right player blivius Why are you trying to slow walk the dog? No, he's not playing a big give me a pound. He's gonna leave here Come on. We got we got oh come on more fucking mess mess. We got more mess We have Big Mona don't call her white girl and Cardi B I've ever seen him. I love Joe Joe Joe. I think if we're gonna talk about Mona and she not here We should at least get her in the conversation. Yeah, no, I'm gonna call I'm gonna call Mona cuz I don't want it to feel like we talk about the back If she don't answer though, I will talk about it back And let it ring the whole way - I hope she answered I'll talk about it back on a voicemail Hello, may we speak to Mona aka don't call her white girl big Mona Yeah, we are here right now So don't say anything and criminating even though that is your back Mona how how you feeling? This is a temp check. It's been a feeling good. Hi guys We love we love you miss you. We we're about to cover this Mona Mona Cardi topic And we wanted to call you first Well, I really stepped in on my pie that dropped tomorrow But I'm not gonna hold you guys for too long, but I apologize The inquiry I didn't party when she first said anything because like I said on the pie like I really didn't think that That she would like we heard or I said about it. That never was my intention. So besides anything like I've been open about being dragged this year. I've never believed experienced it. I've been dragged all year so like her saying that I'm gonna call to her being dragged right now like that shit makes me feel horrible like I wouldn't want I wouldn't want nobody Experience that shit once let alone like you know the level that she probably experienced and don't want so You know just just with that being said like I ain't gonna lie to a little belly button shit pinched a little bit because I think I got a nice belly button I like my belly button word child's a poppy, but I'm not that's just like I don't even want to get all subject like I legit Like I got enemies that I wouldn't want to experience some drag. So it's like like I just I feel bad And I ain't gonna lie today. I feel bad. I wouldn't want nobody to feel you know I mean to go through that because of something I say or something I bonga. You know what I said being all right? I listen I totally feel where you coming from I agree. I think it I think it was big of you to apologize And yeah, you just want to always make sure that your words and your actions aren't alignment right like you what what What you intended versus what was coming out was really my main concern and in me and you spoke privately So I won't get into all of that, but on a on a platform this size I keep saying up here all the time our voice is just too powerful for for certain things and Get it that you be passionate so you getting your back And but I feel like we could add the colorism conversation Sans for hearty, right? That's a bigger conversation to be had so to make her the poster child of it Which I'm again wasn't your intention But yeah, and that's I fucked up your two dough Joe not to catch you all I I had made this mistake more than once on his platform Where it's like I'm not doing enough research because the honest truth is if I knew that that clip was Edited that clip was even but fuck if it wasn't edited if I knew it was that old. Yeah, it would have been a total different Response from me. I I took things like me putting it on a six-type page and putting it on a page wrong Get that much attention. I'm thinking we'd like to have a conversation, you know I didn't expect for it to blow up that beat but those are the things that you know is like I'm a type of person like it Happened it is like a sitting it while when it or I could figure out why how to avoid it So it's like I just got a step to shit up and you know in some real Drew as a shit and I know people probably hear this is able to do you should research after you talk about the truth is people don't so I speaking to me. I just got a tight enough with shit like that because this was avoidable and that's part of you know I so like whack, you know what I mean? I like it because I know you really really really fuck with shorty and you you praise her condo So I want her to think that you don't really fuck with her that you were shooting at it because you talk about it with reverent You know, I'm saying like you really really really admire her. So that that's where it comes shit. What's fucked up for me? And she responded like I wouldn't share nothing We talked about in the DM, but she responded. I I just and that's and that's told her In the DM like everything I'm gonna say here. I'm gonna repeat on a big platform because it's like whispering Oh, I shouldn't have did that in my bed and yelling which you did is like fucked up So it's like I'm waiting to even call because I'm had opportunity to do it So then I would have been able to wait till Friday for that. Yeah, cuz I've been I've been in those shoes that that you and Wayne Just letting something sit for a week when I got something I need to say it's time Word word it is and that's enough for nothing I mean hurting though like that was never my intention and I would like I wouldn't when nobody would do it Let alone a person that was kind to me. That's the bottom line. I'm it credit card. He was kind to me Connected and we that's how it's been since and it's been years of that and I and I have Avoided seeing a certain shit avoid to tell my certain shit So I just feel like to do this now. It's crazy and even what her response like I Give it like she being dragged. I give it. I don't even think I would have got that until I Experience getting dragged for real because now I do now. I get dragged for real. I think it drives a play-play But it is what it is, man. Mona. Do you think you and Cardi could get past this? Um, I'm not gonna lie like but I was mad that she was mad like I definitely feel like with me that I call it I keep trying to like I'm bringing this whole I'm the one I keep it really says who I am shit so an industry that don't necessarily represent that so it's like when We did connect and I'm thinking we cool up because she know you know me that because if you know me you know I ain't you know It will with it, but she don't know me like that and it is a dewey cool, but it's a damn shit You know I'm saying so it's like when I don't wake up and hang and shit like that so it's like His levels are relationships. So you I'm thinking the cooler than we are like she won't understand it's me You know me and it's like we not she somebody that experiences that shit on a big level where my fuck is coming at her So it'd be for that's how that's what when she's been experiencing the one I'm experiencing now You don't know who show everybody come with a smile. You're going on a woof fuck with you with this kind of shit. Well, I mean I get it all I could do is I apologize and move on and do better only things that I feel like I gotta do better with for sure is Make sure I know what the fuck I'm talking about because I am so catching it. There's something like research is really require me for me because I'm super awesome about every day Especially in English here. I think that's well said. Yeah, that's well said. I'm glad you apologize Not because I'm protecting any relationship. I'm about to curse these fans out soon as you hang out the phone about it These fans are these my mind, but I'm glad you know why because sometimes when somebody that you love and care about is wrong Which I felt you were wrong from from the start of it The the cheering section can get too loud There's too many fans that start the chime in with oh she writes she writes she writes she writes she writes she writes she writes she writes No, no, no, and I'm about to curse the fans move the fuck out when I Because they put what they think they give in somebody. I love better advice than I'm giving Like you're talking you I'm talking to somebody. I'm talking to somebody that has asked me to give them advice Same like hearty like Mona you're Mona's asked me. Hey, please mentor me Uh in areas where you see I could improve or yada yada yada so when I get to doing that They put a fucking fans from a fan perspective to pop in and say oh she writes he writes he writes you write mind your fucking business Oh, but I'll talk to them when I hang out with you anyway. I think you did it right. We love you. Yep We hope we hope all is well and and we'll see you Friday, but we love you and we got you back and we support you Did it because they kept saying she ain't gonna come to the bar. I'm gonna be there Friday Oh I think without having talked to Mona. I think that she DM's guardian of all of course. Of course. You know how long one is yeah, no She really fucks with Cardi. That's what I'm saying. Like she's really fine for her mind my intention let me clear that up immediately Let no she just go in general. She's not like intending to be disrespectful for the most part. It's not malicious You gotta know how you come off. It's important. Yeah And if she didn't give two fucks about Cardi then I don't have nothing to say Like if she had never spoken and never DM the don't you bitch you just it ain't nothing there then you have Free feel free to say whatever it is you want to say, but because I know that Mona loves Cardi Because I know that they have interact and because I know that Cardi has been in support of Mona It ain't just like a one-way thing. It also seems like a genuinely fucking great person for the most part You know, I mean I love all her stances politically otherwise. Yeah, cardi she's not like Oblivious to sis. She's on point. She tapped in she knows going on. Yeah, because of those things. I just thought Making her the poster child for the colorism conversation Not that she was wrong and whatever her assessment was, but I wouldn't have jumped to that like she said off the old clip Off the edited clip if you I think there's certain accusations that you if you throw out boy You better have them researched to a tee because they both you got to know what the hot button topics are in the world to put on somebody Hey, this person's abusive. Hey this person Don't pay people back. Yeah, it's this person is a liar. This person's only video of a cuz of cuz of risk yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda one more I don't I don't think it was a bold take or extreme take because she didn't say the latter thing She didn't say like she's only there cuz of colorism her point was Everybody is affected by colorism and she's not an exception But I think the difference is what I didn't understand the last episode was the dynamic of their relationship because you can have that conversation Without her as the center of it, especially if she's not a newspaper. I think and on a show like this when you have a newspaper all of what's wrong? Yeah, I'm which I just want to be clear Cuz I don't want to make it now that colorism becomes a thing that's you know a while take their critical colors And I know you're not saying that I just want to be definitely not saying that I know you're not and I want to be clear to the But even in when when she's saying I should have researched what she's saying is I should know not to use it was two years old And it was edited in the in the whole clip Cardi acknowledge that hey colorism has played a part somewhere But that shouldn't be used to reduce me or just credit my hard work like Yeah, but but also right like We've been around a while. Cardi was on this podcast and like year one maybe and her and I have had to going the Bank through the gauntlet of it like Sometimes the experience is the lesson right like I'm I'm telling you this may be a hot button item for somebody This might be something that somebody is Is grappling with on their own without you coming to add your power for voice in your audience into that and that's where and now you talking about you DM Now we just talking about you not coming off like a two-faced phony ass bitch Well, that's part of my whole of a minute. I'm you in my DMs or it is interaction and Yada yada yada. Nobody want to come off like that Especially not the woman who has been pretty clear about bitches playing in her face and then going to fuck her husband like there's all types of just things and fans Think that these celebrities is just celebrities so the fans come in with that very fan POV of all Geez, right and these people don't want to speak their mind and it is people protective relationships and they not give it up She'll shut the fuck up already doll like these people ain't celebrities to me Like, these are people that are going through human shit. And if you talk to them, either some of that shit you gonna feel, or some of that shit you ain't gonna feel. But I don't think that that was monestance with carting. So you just wanna always make sure to present yourself that way. - And I don't think there's anything wrong with preserving relationships. I think we sometimes use that as like this criticism that to me ignores what it means to be human. Like, or to be a friend. That's what I mean, exactly. Which is part of being human. It's like, if Cartier going on a rant about anti-colorism, or pro-colorism, whatever you wanna say, like yesterday, then we have a duty to cover it as news people. But two years ago, if a clip to re-emerges on TikTok. And I have a relationship with that person. I looked at that person for advice, which is the part I didn't understand last week, 'cause I didn't know that, I don't know the relationship. That wouldn't be the, that wouldn't be the story I'll pull up two years later to talk about it. - Exactly. - You know the record. - Exactly. And that's what research comes in. - Being unresearched on something, 'cause if she's already cleared this up or addressed this, then it's a none. - It's a non-issue. - It's a non-issue. - I talked about this. - That's not true. - Why? - Clearing it up and addressing it, don't make it a non-issue. People can, I've experienced that personally. You can, it don't matter. Sometimes things. - Well, on your part. - On your part. - On your part. - On your part. - You address it, face it, head on, cleared up to the best of your ability. And your part is done. That don't speak to how other people. - Right, that's what I'm saying. - So, 'cause he's saying digging a two-year, it don't matter. You've addressed it, you clear it up. You do what you need to do on your part. That ain't gonna, that don't mean it's over. That don't mean you're forgiving. - No, that ain't it. - Like what the people that you heard or whatever, they could still feel that way. They could bring it up every chance they get. Other people can, this is new information to them. They didn't know. So now they're attacking on like, that's what's happening with the Cardi situation. - And the beautiful thing, sorry. It's a beautiful thing about being talented or being a broadcaster, broadcaster, artists, or whatever it is. Anything in the world could be your muse. Like what inspires you to get passionate or what inspires you to wanna speak on something and nobody take away from you. - Thanks. - How you present that is totally up to you as a broadcaster. Like the world don't have to know where your every inspiration comes from. Y'all seeing this clip and Cardi beats it. And this is what I think about how to say it. It's like, you can have your talk. You can just have it. - Back to soul effects. Yes. - You could have had that whole conversation without singling out of Normie and disrespecting them. Well, a fact, Joe and doing that. Which is back to two chains. Because most people are sensitive and may not even want to acknowledge that they are sensitive. - We all are sensitive. - We all are. - We all are. I didn't like the fact that you talked about it online. I didn't like that. - Choking spaces. - Yeah, I thought that was my family. - I didn't like that. I didn't know why you chose to do that. I don't know why you chose to even give. I mean, you could do whatever you want, but I don't think any of us do that to you. I don't think we go on platforms. I don't know if that's your moral relationship, but that just rubbed me the wrong way. And that was no different than what Bida did to me. And he shouldn't got criticized 'cause he said a joke about me when he set it up here. Then he went to talk about it. That's the same thing he kind of did what you did. And I'm trying to understand a gauge. Is it like, it's a hot topic. So let me get ahead of it. Is it like. - Well, I didn't think there was nothing for me to get ahead of. But is it like, I want to give these months. And you are, it's your entitled to give your supporters the first hand opinion of your belief. What about like, comradery? What's the word comradery? What's the phrase? What about all that, how somebody that works for you or work with you may feel of that you're going online and discussing me. And you just said you spoke to us, so I didn't know that. But when I heard them, like, come on, Joe, man. Fuck you talking about to these niggas. And maybe because I have an issue with. Maybe I could speak from a bias standpoint as well. Maybe because I have an issue with that. But I know that niggas won't do that to you. Any issue that niggas had, niggas ain't going up there. Oh, Joe did this. Yo, I think Joe was wrong, niggas ain't doing that. So is it a practice that niggas is just practicing? - I don't think Niggas should do that to the boss. - Is it, no, but niggas can. Niggas can. - It was sober facts good. - But a niggas was sober facts, me. - I mean, we got it, that remains to be seen. - I just had to call and mark that. - What I'm saying, we know that. - You don't take them into all, what you know what I'm saying. - Blow off the steam. - They're faking the check. - I didn't like that when I was having that conversation with the community that in the middle of the conversation, they got clipped up and said, "Joseph's moanin shit it did because that's not what I said." - Whatever they said, I said. - So I felt for clip culture as well. - Well, yeah, were you in there? - I was not in there, no. - Then you fell for the framing of something. - But what I said in there was kind of what I wanted to say here, just moanin wouldn't allow anybody else to speak on the matter. - And at some point, sometimes rather, it's important for me to say what something is from me because something will get put on the entire platform. - And we already been through this with her a million times. - So if it's something that it ain't really got to go here and it ain't really about nothing, then yeah, let's let that be heard. And listen, y'all don't be known people here and see and look to hear every single thing that is said about them. - Oh, that's the fact. - And they got people that do it. - That's so true. - But sure, I'm one of them niggas. - Yeah, that could have turned in Cardi's whole Celelequee. I was glad that it was direct to what her problem was and who it was about. And she was extremely honest, like Park said, she almost ran out of characters, talking about that shit, but she was honest in it. - Yo, it hurt me coming from you because yada, yada, yada, yada. - So that was moanin, Cardi's shit, none of do of me. - Shout out to Mona for her humanity, shout out to Mona for just acknowledging that. I definitely respect that. - I mean, a lot of y'all niggas, like I said, I protect relationships, hey, I don't look for what the niggas say. You know, niggas gotta try to appease y'all niggas. Hey, I'm a relationship protector. - What is he talking about? - I'm a relationship protector. I don't got to pretend and act like I'm criticizing and finding another word to criticize my man. I protect all relationships. You know why? Because I be outside and a lot of these niggas haven't got punched in the face in years and when they doing fucking wrestling, they hurt their knees. So they're not outside. They can't run. They try to go to the trunk. - I don't mean to. I got these two dick beaters and I'm not playing it. - So I have to end the day. - You can do it. You can do it. - You have to end the day. - Very coctured. - Yeah. - End of the day, I protect my relationships. Whether you like it or not, because I do feel like there's a way to not criticize the ones you love or there's a way to use a topic that your friends are involved in and take it off of them. And let them catch what you were saying instead of directing them like we in the clip culture a lot. So I protect that shit. I just want to say that. I said, "Lady, I think I say that." Yes, Queens Flip do. Don't look for me. - I love you, nigga. Don't look to me. I'm not here to leave anybody. I'm here to fucking give my facts and protect my relationships because you niggas is ain't outside. And somebody's niggas do this finger right here. - What happened to your face? - The fans don't ever acknowledge that part. The fans don't acknowledge that little finger shit. - Why you didn't tell them you were a cop? - Well, Norris said, "All the people in the comments are winning at." - I ain't got to tell them shit. Fans of fans, celebrities are celebrities and there's a cost to being rich. - There's a cost to being rich. Right at what cost? - It is a cost to be rich. - I kicked this back. - That's my other thing about back to Mona and Cardi. Like I was telling, some of my, I was telling earlier. Outside of Mona's reverence for Cardi, which she has. - For sure. - Cardi is corporate. So Cardi is a brand partner with companies that I would think comedians want to be fly with or appear on. And all it takes in this business, again, which is why fans is fans and celebs are celebs. Fans that don't cost you nothing in your living room to say what you want and be right. But in real life, all it takes is for that person to say, "Well, outside of that." - No, in the corporate world to say, "If that person, you know what?" - I'm not comfortable working with her. - That's all it takes. - That message is like the telephone game because now they found out and now you're hard to work with and I don't know if I want to fuck with you. - I'm saying that as somebody that been through it probably still goes to it, but I'm on top of my game, so I'm fucking scared to do nothing with me, fuckers, they talk about it. - You got to see your empath bag more as talk to my research back in the days. You got to see your empath bag more where you're able to identify how someone would feel and not want them to feel that way because you wouldn't want to feel it. - I got into my empath bag after I realized the world was listening. - Yeah, I was just about to say, when the podcast was getting 30,000 spins and we were doing the shit in my basement, - Say what you want. - Easy to say, fly off the hip, get it all off. - That's what kill me when they sit there and say, "You don't think it's gonna give it up like you used to." - But they don't give a point of it. - Look at that scroll. - I watch Joe sit here if somebody's offended, I watch him and I watch him sit here and ponder like, "He's not pretending or scared." He's just like, "That was never my intent to make you feel it." feel that way. That was not my intent to make you feel that way. And even when somebody did similar playing around with him, how he responsive. He said, "You know what? I'm not going to do this, but I mean, I no longer support." You know what I'm saying? So I watch him practice what he preached. So it is what it is. Mona, we love you. We love you, Mona. Cardi, we love you. Cardi, we love you. Cardi, we love you, man. I love you. And you know what I mean? Hopefully Cardi sends the doctor over to belly button doctor, whatever. That was a good doctor. What? That was, that's some good girl shade. Yo, that's some good girl. Don't say it, but like three words. That shade was so good. Mona had to say something. I like my belly button. Girl shade being different, yo. It's true. They played dirty. The belly button. Man, I've been niggas said that to somebody. Look at your belly button. You can't say that, don't you? You can't get that off as a dude. Anyway, what else? What else? What else? What else? What else? What else? I feel like we squashed in all beef. What else? Mona gave you something. Freeze got him. This was, uh, you want to give the show? Salah, he actually sent this for, he said to give it to you in shoday. It says his, uh, he said it's, uh, engagement present from him. Oh, nice. Oh, that's nice. This is really nice. Salah probably would have looked a bit, looked a little better. If you were there to see us in person, you're supposed to be there for the invitation that you sent you to hit me and said, no, I will be there. You know, I'm not really sure if I'm a bagging. I said, no, please, please, please. I need, if anybody, I need to be there as you and you gave me your words and said, I'll be there. Now you send me a fucking picture. This cute. Thank you. Thank you. No, I appreciate it. It's super fly, but I'm still mad. Still mad. Don't try to, he did me right. Got my baby nose a little crooked, but we'll talk about it. Baby nose ain't crooked like that. Watch your fucking mountain. Baby. Stupid. Yeah. Look at she's so strong. Seven months. You'll stop with that. Look, seven months. She's still dead. Can't you say that? Yeah, you can't die. She's strong. You have to stop. You got to stop. Yeah, please. I take it back. I'm done. I'm done. Anyway, uh, come on. We squashing all these today. What else? Yeah. Whatever the angel. All right. Yeah, you asked so much to say about sober facts and nori and all this other shit. Get to your educator business. First of all, today, by gone vote. Hey, by vote. I did. Hey, by vote. All right. We got a park's vote. Are you gonna? Are you gonna? I don't. I don't. We'll be fine. Are you able to take a close eight? I think eight or nine or something I don't want to mark you voted. I will be okay - You think it's gonna mailed it in? - My daughter told me about that. - Why early, I got it. - Nah, I know that I do it the morning of, but, okay. - Flip, I know I was dealing with it. - I said my daughter told me about that this morning. It didn't make us, I'm sure, right? - You're 16 year old daughter. - 17. - Talk to you about voting? - Yeah, I mean, the kids didn't touch me. - My daughter told me that I should vote high. - Do you vote in the States? - 17, it's almost 18. - Yeah, she'd be 18. - Next year. - Oh, you'll be high. No, I'll slap this shit out. (laughing) You know what I gotta get smacked for saying this everything is always Follow up Speaking of my daughter. I got a shot of my man mark my hair. You know man I'm one of the shot him out. You know man. Well, he's calling him when it comes to that But when it comes to family was good like my daughter been having some issues when it comes to the common app and prepare for college Which you know, she she was depressing all that stuff Me being a parent, I'm looking at it like you know, we're living good, you know our lives has changed What does there to be the press about ignorant ignorant it's ignorance? I didn't go to college. I try to sneak in the Kingsborough and pretend that I was different one day and they got me out of it Kingsborough would definitely know that you weren't supposed to Like you should have tried to - Yeah, that's never happening. - Yeah, so what I'm saying is that. - So she was going through that. - Kingsborough is that. - Kingsborough, when you were the Jamaica Niggas. - Kingsborough, had- - Kingsborough. - So anyway, so you know, we've been filming content. Flip the family with me and my family. - It's fire by the way. - I don't love you. - New show up here. - Mark contacted me, he said, yo, anything when it comes to Princess, you know, I'm wanting to give a hand, help her, and everything like that. I said, can we deal with some content? - I did, I don't care. - I just want to help her with college. I'm like, you don't have to be like, I need to say this, but you know, - Where are those? - It's not where those things come from. - Where are those things come from? - Content D, man. - Content D, man. - Content D, man. - Content D, man. - See, I'm giving him a compliment and you disrespecting my family. See what I'm saying? - I never would do that. - Hey, what, my daughter say A like that nigga? - You. - Yeah, I'm not saying that. - I'm just saying you, you both don't want to do this y'all. - I love y'all, okay. Keep going. - I'm gonna thank you. - I'm gonna thank you, Mark, and I'm gonna thank you to it for your ignorance. - I'm happy to help you, man. - That's meant a lot to us, 'cause you was on speaker. - Which I didn't know. - I didn't know I was having a conversation with you. - I did not know you were gonna speak. - Were you recording the conversation? - I did not record no. - He was recording. - He was recording. - He was like, "Yeah, my daughter loved what you said." I was like, "I wasn't talking to you." - She really appreciated it, especially somebody that come from, you know, somebody like you, 'cause she did the research on who you are and it meant a lot to her to just help her navigate that, 'cause I was stuck at a point. I'm like, "I'm gonna figure it out." The comment that she's going at, the comment, I'm gonna hold a shit there. - What the fuck? - It's a lot, I've been through it a million times and I'm happy to help off air. - You know what I'm coming at you. - Which you daughter or anybody else, we need to help. - Thank you so much. - You know, yeah, you could back then, then they have to come out, they had a fucking blue sheet, nigga. - Are you talking about his daughter, on air? - No, I'm talking about his back in the day, going to college. - All right. - I wanna play with y'all. - Don't play with them. - Shout out to the niggas that try to suck up during the gochies, huh? You trying to be cool with your man? - You ain't even know, you ain't even know. - You ain't even know what you're talking about. - I'm gonna fuck you bitch outta here. I don't have to suck up nigga. I don't have the time I don't have time, nigga. You can do whatever you want. That's my man. God don't play about me. I don't play about him and draw you what it just so happens Fuck you talk to me. We don't even do contracts. Yeah, can you enable me. They call me cable. I'm both the niggas together It wasn't a plan for your contract to end right around the time that my daughter was born and I'm not gonna look to shed I'm fine with that. I'm not gonna. I still love you That's the difference. I'm not exited. I'm gonna like never yeah. I still love you. Yo, can I ask your two stupid questions? Please no questions, and then we get in the age lower But I'm acknowledging the these stupid questions, so y'all don't have to tell me I'm stupid. So such a thing is super cool Do y'all do y'all do y'all respect men that would born in November? I'm sure yeah No, no, I was out of family come on. That's your family You're respect do to your purpose morning. I don't know before that me. How you know? With that man. I don't know. It's my brother the same day is my brother. They born the same day and date. You mean? So he's here and everything. So I hear. I hear that he's here. I'm telling you. I'm doing your pushup. I tell you how that much you do. I'm gonna remember shit. Hey, he's still got your - No, you fuckin' wreck it. - Yeah, you're chill. - Hey, can you hear me? Oh, no, that's hot. All right, so y'all do what's better. All right. - How many captains birthday is today? - Also, yep. - Happy birthday to Colin Kavenay. - Happy birthday. - All right, so y'all do what's better than men who was born, never, right? No beef, no beef. My last question to y'all. How many bites do it take y'all to finish a devil egg? - I don't eat that. - I don't eat devil eggs. - That's a one better. - We have penises. - Yeah, one better. I mean, I guess let's, you know someone go He's going to do it a lot. He freezed it up. He slurped it up. You know, how do you freeze? I don't eat double dicks I'm not saying that. - Oh, fuck, no, what are you doing? - I'm paying. - What the hell? (laughter) - Why would I call it that, dude? - Don't say it! - If I had to do that, I would never have had it! - You think it is a fool, yo, that's funny. - Oh my lord. - What makes the devil like? - But how are we gonna take you to take one down? - Oh my God, how do you. - Yeah. - To take one down. - To take one down. - That experience. - You're gonna be mad, you're gonna be mad. - I'm just gonna do it. - In the bed. - Oh my God. (laughter) - Is it a jumpy truck? (laughter) - Yeah, is it a jumpy truck? - Yeah, you can do it once. - You can do it once? - Like you wanna hook up? - Yeah, hook up. - Yeah, hook up. - Yeah, now I'm gonna trick you. - Now you answer. - Now you answer, though. - Yo, you drunk at 20. - See, I've never had two at one time. That's a weird thing. (laughter) That's even a weird ass amongst devil and eaters. (laughter) - Yo, 'cause, don't call yourself an eater, yo. (laughter) - Yo, Angela Rye. - Angela Rye. (laughter) - Oh, Angela Rye. - Angela Rye. - Angela Rye. - Angela Rye. - We squashing old beef today. - What? - We squashing old beef. - All right, what she did. - Content DMX. - Angela Rye is fighting with some lady named Brandy. Take it away, Mark. - I thought you were gonna take it away. - Why would I, I'm not that fucking educator, yeah? - I'm fucking dropped out. They can get in your bag. - I don't have the ring. - Usually when you're cornering-- - I don't have the ring. - You set up the story and they say, "What do you think, Mark?" That's usually how to do it. - Wait, you think I'm trying to corner you with the Angela Rye store? - Yes. - Because of my five minutes ago, you said, "You talk on that shit about super facts. "What do you got to say about Angela Rye?" - Because I know that you and Angela Rye are cool. And I ain't got no beef with Angela Rye. - They're looking at each other. - Shout out to Angela Rye. She got a lot of great shit going on. - She's the best. - But with the election, with the midterm, things got spicy, where she was going back and forth with a content creator by the name of Brandy. What is her whole, what's her tag with? - I don't wanna mess up her. - And she's been going back and forth. - She's been going back and forth with a young lady named Brandy. - What's her about Obama? So Angela was talking. And one thing she said was Obama doesn't do enough. It hasn't done enough politically. She had a political critique of Obama. Some said this. - Angela Rye. - Got it. - Then people on the internet were pushing back against Angela to which Angela kind of said, and I've, you know, she said basically that there are people who have criticisms and critique, but they haven't necessarily, they don't have the full understanding, the full context. Actually, can we play a clip? 'Cause I don't want to misrepresent what she said. - And the lady's name is Brandy, the Millennial Manager. - Yeah, we go to Millennial Manager. - Here it is. - Here it is. - 'Cause you never work on the, miss because you never work on the hill. Miss because you never work on the hill. You didn't work in an administration. You ain't even work in City Hall. I invite you to get you on your experience. And I'm not telling you to, you know, shut up and dribble. I'm not telling you to shut up and do your corporate job or whatever it is that you do. I'm not telling y'all to shut up and just create content, but I am saying understand that there's range and some of y'all are lacking it, frankly. So that's what I'm missing. - You know, two thoughts. First, I agree with her. I also understand how people you agree with her on what. The argument she was making, which is that there are people who are making critiques of politics or involved in a political conversation who don't necessarily have the experience necessary to make certain judgments of people who do have it. But I think that, so she criticizes Obama. She's saying things he could do, she's saying things that he could do politically right now. And people with no political experience say, that's not true. And she's saying, well, I've worked in Capital Hill. I've worked in every branch of government. I understand these different avenues. I understand how this works. And I'm telling you as somebody who knows this, that that's not true. And so you argue with her and Brandy. We're going back and forth about. - Yes, that's what I'm saying. And so the people who criticized Angela and Angela responded with this. And so Brandy took the, and specifically people who have interpreted this statement that we just played as a response to Brandy. - Got it. - Yeah. So she never said Brandy's name, but that's how Brandy's taken it. That's how the internet's taken it. I'm going to operate from the assumption that it was a response to Brandy as well. - Because Brandy was talking about New York schools, I mean, school systems and the teachers and the kids and all of this shit. - Because part of what she's saying, what Brandy's saying, and other people have said is, look, I live politics. I have an experience. I grew up in this city. I have these experiences. This thing happened to me. I navigate the world. Politics is my life. Not because I'm a politician, but because I'm a citizen who experiences this shit. And the criticism of Angela was that she was a leader. And people start talking about Jack and Jill Blacks. And the elite blacks who think that only people who have a certain resume can be involved in politics. And that's the criticism of it. If that's what was communicated, then that's on Angela. The message or the messaging, right? Because that's not what the message should be sent out. You absolutely shouldn't tell people that they can't be involved in politics unless they have a certain resume. And honestly, some of the most sophisticated political tacticians, some of the most thoughtful political critics, haven't had the resume or the degree or that kind of shit. So I'm not supporting the leadism. But I don't think Angela was either. I think what Angela's saying is, sometimes y'all don't know what you're talking about. And sometimes you have to defer to expertise. If I watch a football game or basketball game, and I say, well, you should have run this play. You should have run that play. Sometimes we write. But sometimes the coach, who has a high level of understanding, understands why it wasn't so simple as to just do XY or Z. And if the coach says, look, y'all don't know the game, like I do, because I've been playing it and coaching it for 50 years. I don't know if that's a leadism. I think that that's something else. And I think that has to be room for both conversation. I don't think it's a leadism. It's more expertise. It's a problem. That's how I see it. I think in this particular instance. War is coming forward. No, no, I'm not. I think in this particular instance, he's right, in this particular instance. But we see it across the board, often times that in any time-- Any time in politics, they have that stance. Yes, it's funny. That stance is like, yo, you don't know what you're talking about. So you should honestly shut up in dribble. And I think in media period, we have that stance. And so often times, I've heard political pundits talk about economics. I've heard political pundits talk about other shit. And they don't take their advice to shut up in dribble, because this is not your area of expertise. So in this particular instance, if Angela is saying, yo, Obama's not doing enough based on her level of experience that she feels Obama's not doing enough, then she is well within her right to say that, because she's been in this field for over a decade. And that's Anne, it's also opinionated. Because Obama could feel I am doing enough. Yeah. So it's still opinionated, and she's entitled to her opinion. So I don't disagree with it. I do disagree with the sentiment that, yo, if I haven't worked in these areas for a certain amount of time, then I don't have the range to comment on it because we see people in media do that shit every day all day. But since I may be wrong, it's possible. Yeah. And that's what I'm saying. But they don't shut up. Yeah. And I like that she said, I'm not saying shut up in dribble. I'm saying, keep talking. Everybody's entitled to an opinion. Everybody should involve themselves in the process. But she said, try to see yourself beyond your experience. In other words, like, that shit. Yeah. I was about to-- That shit. And I'm going to tell you-- Oh, I'm going to tell you this. No way to cover up the bad ass shade. It is. And again, across the board, seem like a lot of people are just not really aware how they come off. And I'm not talking about whether Angela was right or wrong in her assertion. I'm only talking about how she come off. When you say things like, I beg you to get beyond your experience. And this is out of your range. And all that shit that she just said in that clip comes off very small. It comes off very condescending. It doesn't come off like a more experienced person trying to educate. And that was my first point, right? That's what I say. Like, the message does matter. Because if people walk away feeling alienated from the process or feeling like you want to alienate me from the process, then the message wasn't effective. Exactly. So that's what I say. I'm not championing the delivery. But I don't want us to confuse the delivery with the point. I wouldn't say it that way. Maybe in frustration, I would. Or maybe talking shit. This is my fucking thing. Never did that. And we all do that. Right. Right. Yeah. But like, at the core. At the core, like, you know, like. But when you hear people publicly. That the calm. All right. So we're going to say you. Angela. Bakari. It's others. We look to these young black people that resonate with us for guidance politically. Yeah. Right. Because in our communities, of course, we're not voting at the clip that we should be. So when you tell somebody in a. In a. That type of manner. Those be the same people that we want to encourage to go out and vote. Exactly. So if you're saying that to them in that manner, then that's discouraging. Like, yo, well, I'm done. I don't know enough to go vote. Like. Outside of my lease. I agree. That's what the message has. I think the way you do it is to say, hey, y'all. I hear what y'all are saying. But trust me on this. But it's more complicated than that. Here's why we can't just do X. Trust me. Just like in sports. Here's why I couldn't just give the bar to Mike and tell him I clear up. Like, yeah, we all consider that shit. You know, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Now, I know in a moment of frustration. You just say nothing. But I we want to be like. Fuck you talking. You're stupid. Yeah. Yeah. And frustration. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. I mean, first up, my wife and I ran our pie. Right, there was an audio issue or the second episode. There's an audio issue and like ten fans saying you guys should use mics Now what happened was it was a remote mic. There was a signal issue. It was all the shit that was going on and all because it was use mics So why don't you call parks, right? Which you know, we could have but the point was like I know to fuck it I've been doing this for 20 fucking years. You don't think I considered using a fucking microphone on an interview like So there's a way that sometimes the the peanut gallery is is saying the dumbest shit in your mind And you're frustrated and you're already frustrated and there's no way to say you you don't know what the fuck you're talking about Especially the moment of crisis of it and to be like you don't know what the fuck you're talking about I'm not saying that's the right answer. I'm just saying I understand that temptation, but we got to fight that temptation It's too easy to fight the urge to say nothing right Right, but it's really all that happens if that's really all that you can do in that instance It's a good sign which is what I did but it took a lot But in the case of politics is more complicated because the people who are commenting you want them engaged right Yeah, you and you want them to have a better idea of what the situation can't achieve that Bobby little and you can't achieve it by saying nothing So you didn't you got to find the right thing to say At the bottom of the media. Yeah, through the first especially when you're frustrated, but that's where it gets tricky Especially when you frustrated man, so see there's no beef. That's people's man. I love Angela You know, I think she's nice. She's a nice lady. She's she's she's very committed She's brilliant. She's passionate. I like a lot. Yeah, no. She's dope, you know, and dealing with the public is hard Yeah, everybody out there, you know, you should be aware you come off Speaking of which we did get it to a two-chains update He tweeted I got a chance to speak to Keith after the podcast and it was all love and Know my words offended some people and I apologize for that what I said and what I meant were two different things I could have done a better job of getting my point across I got well said well said straight to the point speaking how you come off watch it to be today. I love it Speaking to me come off. I want your opinion or something real fast. I don't take M.I. A Karen. Yes. Yes It's long at all. You are can't take long. You're watching every one On Friday night Joe was kind of there Oh, he's kind of Friday night I'm at my house enjoying a much needed respite on my couch 10 o'clock at night 9 o'clock at night I just got home from a long day of taping the Joe button pocket. Okay, I'm sitting there and also here's No, it wasn't in my crib. It's asked me that question again So my wife text me it said yo, do you hear that shit what the fuck I'm left-handed. I just want you to understand And I'm like Yeah, I hear that shit. She's like where's it. So I'm looking at the window. I don't see nobody And so I go outside I put on my shoes. I go outside and I'm looking for this noise. I have to walk a whole block over To find that these kids they look like kids to me. Teenagers. Teenagers. I haven't a fucking Halloween party and there's like a hundred of them. Okay. Okay It's a Friday night. Yeah, you could buy me some beer. Oh gee. It's literally mischief night. Yeah, so I put my hood on And I walked through the party. I was gonna help hold on His neighborhood and probably didn't help because this was a very white party. Well, and be clear mark hoodies don't fit the description Yeah, I don't look like I don't look violent Good, good. So I'm walking through the party looking for an adult. So you went in the party They were all outside for the most part and this was like a fancy house the first one like a pool with some shit I don't know some fancy shit. I couldn't understand. I just was trying to find an adult right block behind yours Same area. Yeah, very good. No, it's a story of two blocks. Go ahead. Good And I couldn't find one and then finally this kid and so I saw a videotape in the party. Oh You're a character. No, no to do what to send to my wife to be like look at this shit happened I wasn't videotape in a sendin don't like the police. Yeah, not a one check here Just to say you're like yo, I've seen I found the party. That's it. That's all I'm videotape in it for But the kids like why you videotape? Why you think that he's like kind of running up on me I'm like I had to put my hood down like I would beat the shit out of you relax to try to beat the kids up No, but I'm just like yo relax Finally like the kid walks up. I heard when the kids say like um, oh my god, it's that an adult like calling me like I'm like trying to be at the party Hey, you they hike oh, they say oh, no, and I'm black fellow kids right and I'm black. I'm like no creep And I don't want no police coming for me. So I'm like yes, I'm an adult. I'm your neighbor and I'm calling I'm coming right here because the Music is too loud. You're waking me up. You're waking by just there another adult here. I didn't ask that but I could see there was no adults here These were some unsupervised ass kids. They were making out in the corner. They there was a beer. I saw something how dare the oh my I went over and demanded that they turn the music down mark. They should have jumped you Thank you, and then I went back on But I didn't call the police the point is I didn't call the police. I just demanded that the music came down because I didn't get a drunk I did the dough the demand something at arcade kickback. Yeah The music was down before I even got back to my house There's like a three or four minute walk back to my house. I'm the music go back up It didn't go back up. They were cool about I think they If it been y'all I wouldn't I wouldn't win around there. Oh You know about the music and we're safe to go Is that Karen behavior? Yes Yes, that's what I say you know about the music that it was saying I pay taxes this car. Is it when you do it at the back of sleep and tell me that you pay taxes is Carrying shit has up and in non-caring behavior. There's some nights Where you supposed to tuck your inner Karen no matter how you feel about yeah, Halloween missed your night one new years is to Like this this night Every single day like rock out as long as it's not like it's one night It's nine 10 o'clock at night. Yeah, it ain't 3 30 in the morning. Yeah, even if it's 3 30 in the morning. Have a chill out 3 30 I'm guilty. Yeah 30 in the morning, you're getting the police code on you call the police. Yes, I Don't okay, what do you do with a three in the morning? You can't sleep and your newborn baby your newborn baby is awake because What do you do? My baby rocking the sleep Jazz now yeah, I call the police put on the YouTube fire. Oh, I'm never calling a police. I don't believe it call the police But you are going to say can you turn it down? I don't know about that because that's the question. I'm not that somebody else do at 3 30 30 in the morning you knocking on somebody door. They been partying on night. They drunk. I wouldn't do that I wouldn't do that because I know me and I'm not gonna say nothing that's gonna be taken politely He gonna give him that condescending voice I'm gonna say one thing slick and then at 3 3 3 in the morning. I'm gonna be the condescension That's 3 30 we gonna get right that we get right to it at 3 30. What do you do? It's say it's not 3 That's one in the morning go home. Fucking see what's going on. Oh, you know, you had the funny thing about is that I accept that I Except that well, I wouldn't get beat up. I would actually go there. I wouldn't call the police and to you know You're taking the camera. No, I'm not taking the camera. I go talk to them. You would tell me turn down though Yeah, I said turn down. Would you tell me turn down? Not at 10 o'clock. Not at 9 o'clock. How about one on a Friday? You're all carries. It's got different 3 in the morning 3 Friday night. I know what it is. I know what it is. We're being nice going to your Karen. You're all a Karen with different curfews. Everybody appears that they would do it just at a different time. And I wouldn't do it unless it started to become No, 3 34 in the morning. You're not a Karen because at first I was gonna see you right, but now if it's repetitive and they do it frequently That's something different because now you you interrupted my way of life. It's like quiet I was a I had I had some neighbors That were from South of Texas Oh, I know you ain't gonna knock on a door and when I tell you The horn they had the band out there and I'm not joking. They had the band It was like four in the morning, but I'm talking about everything. It's like your mom. Yeah, it's everyone. What y'all doing? I love mixed Cuban and Mexican music, but yeah, they mix all over. I don't know what it is. I think it also depends. Yeah, like is it? They was wild now. The speakers outside are much So if I'm just getting based, I sleep through that. - No, it depends, is it? - I really don't care if it's outside of screaming. - It's just that I was wicking the kid up and out. I don't know how to spend time with him. - It was nine o'clock, you know? - It created up, don't you? - Yeah, you as well, nine o'clock, two o'clock. - Five to eight, nine o'clock, ten o'clock. - It ain't a Wednesday night. It's a weekend, my nigga. - Come on. - Okay. - I'll give him later next time. I'll give him the midnight. - The weekend before. - No, on the Friday night before. - Night before, my nigga. You've been sensitive, no, no, my nigga, you've been sensitive, it's terrible. - Powerful sensitivity, that's funny, though. I know we didn't touch much on music this podcast, but I do think that it should be noted that Gabby previewed some music, and I'm going to play it for y'all. - Please do. - Gabby is her, and her is her. - Literally. - Yeah, and she's her. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - So, yeah, she was performing. - Yeah. - Yeah. - See? - Yes. - Big time. - Yes, really. - Absolutely genius to make the time you've been gone, a tangible thing in the song. - Need to see the Q on this. - Yeah, I'll know if y'all can really hear it, but even if you can, this is fire. - This is fire, we need to see the Q version of this e-mediately. - Oh, yes, we did. There's another new song here called "Friends" that's her on the band, Joe, let's go her. - Oh, hey. - It's hard. - Sounds good. I'm ready for a project. - That's it. - All right, man, brand new, her previews. - I'm ready. - I'm ready. - Sure. - My body is ready. And this is from R&B Live, Out in Dallas, which I hear was all types of amazing. If I can go to Dallas, I might have went to that show. - If you could go to Dallas? - Yeah, Dallas on the list. - I can't go for Dallas. - You crazy in there. You can't even. - Act tough. - Act tough. - What's the last game you've been to? 2025 opening, right? 2024? Yeah, it's been a while. It's been a second. Yeah, mute up. - I don't have anything else. I don't have anything else. Is it music? - Yes. This is real quick. We've been shouting out his voice and mentioning it. I'm talking of television, my God. Kirk Franklin has a new album out. Shout out to Kirk Franklin, made a new album. It's two discs. The first album is on, you know, a new song, the second one is live. Some live tracks. Really good, guys. Well, if you're in the guys, well, I think you'll like it. The production is great. Songwriting is great. It's a great guest appearance. It's not just the Glorilla track. It's some other great, great songs on there. I want to. What's up, brother's name. He was up here the other day. My brain is freezing because it's late in the day. I have to pull it for you. I really like the song. And now I'm just calling him what I am from DeVito. Thank you. My brain was freezing. He's a song called "Hoping You" by DeVito. But the whole album is there. Jelly Rose on here. DeVito's on here. Glorilla's on here. It's a relatively short first disc. But it's seven tracks, but it's great. The second is the seven tracks. Also really good. Again, if you love gospel, I think you'll love this. And if you love Kirk Franklin, there's some songs that are right in the mix of Kirk Franklin flowing and there's some other stuff. There's a little difference. There's some Afrobeat on there. If you like Afrobeat, you'll love this. There's just some spoken word. He raps a little bit. It's a lot of different sounds on here. But I think it's a great message. You're like, hope it's a beat. It's good to drive too. It's dope. I like it. Okay. Great. Shout to Kirk, man. Anything else in music? Anything else in music we need? Actually, maybe not so much in music, but before we get out of here, I do want to say congratulations to Druski and hit the round of applause on him. He announced a multi-year partnership with Netflix. He is dope. And the first thing they're leading out with is a show, a spoof show about the comedy. I mean, the pastor. The pastor's ship. Let me look up the name of that. But it's him and Mike Epps. If you've seen his skits, they put out a nice little teaser trailer kind of combining all of the skits. But I know we've been asking for a Netflix style show from Druski for quite some time back. He's been absolutely killing it out here. I'll look forward to seeing what this show looks like. Collecting praise. Collecting praise. Could not be happier for Druski, man. Well deserved. You worked for it. Congrats. I cannot wait to support. When you preach his out there, I don't know the name of preacher dude that's in the $4,000 massage chair, giving the fucking, giving the sermon. But you're all doing this on purpose? I mean, well, we're not standing in faith. We sit in it. Sit in it. It was good. I know. All right. You're trying to make the Druski show. Yeah. We showing you. Yeah. And that shit did look fine. Yeah. This happened to me. You continue to donate and tie. And he can make it happen for you too. See? See? Look at you. Your grandparents are going to call you. It's faith. They're going to call you. Faith. Faith base. $4,000. $4,000. Osaki chump 2 massage chair. By the way, them chairs are amazing. I don't know if you're going to say it. Osaki won with some bullshit. All right. I'm all right. All right, you got it I don't think you should do nine years for burning down the your competition's business. I don't I don't how long should you do Not nine years. Summary:

FAQs

The episode discusses how celebrities often receive preferential treatment in restaurants, such as being given priority seating or better service, which raises concerns about fairness and whether such treatment is appropriate or equitable for regular customers.

The host argues that while celebrities may receive better service, it should not be a standard expectation, as it sets a harmful precedent and can leave regular customers feeling disadvantaged or treated unfairly.

The podcast highlights that reviews from celebrities may be influenced by bias, especially when they come from a place of privilege or expectation, and questions whether these reviews accurately reflect the true quality of food or service for all customers.

The host references a situation where a celebrity arrives at a restaurant and is given priority, while regular customers face long wait times and poor service, showing how preferential treatment can create inequality in the dining experience.

Yes, the podcast suggests that celebrity reviews can be biased due to their personal experiences, celebrity status, or expectations, especially when they involve a disconnect between public perception and actual service quality.

The podcast emphasizes that public opinion and online reviews play a significant role in shaping consumer decisions, and that a single negative review from a celebrity can have a disproportionate impact on a business's reputation.
