The podcast features a lively, conversational discussion on comedy, with hosts critiquing recent SNL performance by Shane Gillis, particularly his use of the word “horror” to describe gym attire. The hosts argue that the joke, while possibly humorous in intent, crossed cultural and gender-sensitive boundaries, sparking outrage due to its offensive connotations. They reflect on how modern comedy operates under heightened sensitivity, where even small words can trigger strong reactions. The conversation then shifts to the significance of Druski’s historic hosting debut, viewed as a positive evolution toward greater diversity and inclusivity in comedy. Hosts express hope that Druski—being a young, online-native personality—will bring fresh, creative energy without relying on outdated or problematic tropes like “white face” humor. They also highlight the broader changes in comedy, noting that platforms like SNL now prioritize younger, relatable talent and digital appeal, signaling a shift from legacy formats. The tone remains playful and self-aware, blending serious analysis with personal anecdotes and humor, such as a mishap at a college homecoming. Overall, the segment underscores the evolving nature of comedy in a socially conscious era, where humor is no longer just about laughs but also about cultural awareness, responsibility, and representation.

We are trained professionals We do not have your best interests at heart or our own Enjoy the show This dude is about to drive my OCD through a roof somewhere I think it is going to just stack up a bridge over there. All I do is just come right here And he's watching away my wife and my dad used to watch me when I'm drinking on the couch He's like you like I'm about to make a mistake and they can't wait to tell no he look at y'all and say all right Where do y'all want to start? Well, I'm starting in my head with your the top to your tea Off with a tea, but the time got a hole in it Yeah, it's meant to Sip through this is coffee not tea. That's why you don't sip an Americano through a hole. I mean you can't I need I need I need a I need a full swallow Okay, okay, all right your world If you talk about it's so big like you people won't even yeah The junkie shit you do over there in the corner and try to I had mine a couch Please please try to refrain from such behavior. I can't make any promises while you're seated next to me Man, I only broke one couple. You don't usually have three cups over there by now. I'm trying to refine Mark No, trying to teach in the difference between the salad fork and the dinner fork I've just using my hands boss How y'all doing, man? Good to see you brothers. Good to see y'all. You know smelling good. Hey, buddy. Well rested. Yeah, sir. No, but I'm well Usual, yeah, I got I got an hour yesterday. So I'll sleep. Yeah, I was stressed I kind of knew you didn't sleep once I saw the hecklers letting Seinfeld have it. Oh shit Turned out to be a real piece of shit No, that show was turned out to be a whole piece. Remember Michael Richards got hit like a ten years ago I'm like I'm waiting for his could stand the next like as long as Larry David says cool and clean, please, please So I need just one please Yo bro, don't start your shit Listen Seinfeld may in fact be a piece of shit. Yeah, but the show is still a show but if I'm at a comedy show And somebody just get up next to me and start Saying the mark the mark stuff Did y'all hear I didn't I didn't I didn't hear I'm not I don't even I mean we Not that I don't love talking Palestine, but I think what's more interesting to me is whether you go to somebody show the hecko I'm not paying Seinfeld money to go hecko So the tickets were probably not cheaper. That's what I'm saying. I before I knew he was a piece of human garbage I purchased Seinfeld tickets. Okay. Oh my god. It was a $200. Yeah for like upstairs It was like a hundred dollars per funny joke ratio was terrible and I don't know man. I couldn't do that. I salute them for doing it. I respect it in my head, but I just I'd wait I'd be outside waiting Y'all care about anything enough to hecko in the show. No, not really if they say something in the show Okay, yeah, but I'm not gonna pay someone that I don't like to go to their show I'm not I'm not doing it. What if you go to a show and the opener says some wire shit that you don't fuck with the opener? Yeah, I mean it like you pay to see yeah, you comfortable booing. Yeah, hell yeah. Yeah, boo. Okay. Okay. I'm not booing But I mean I wouldn't take a serious to open the fuck you Depends on opening but yeah Okay, not the opener is kind of like show time at the Apollo Like you got to do good comedy. Yes. Yeah, for any Friday. Yeah, that's not true You can't be out there too long. There's not some shows. You got dope ass access. You provide example I remember one time I went to see It was beyond say missy and Alicia keys. Who's the ladies first two? Yep, Alicia keys open Oh, you're not saying that's an opener That's a point that's a point that's a point. Yeah, all right, man, you're in Beaumont, man What do you call it she just have supporting supporting the non-headliner is that a better word the non-headline? From the actors usually so that we don't know I get what you say you get mad look. No, I get what you say I mean, I think I'm missing my bigger point. I'm saying what I know I stand corrected You don't have to be trashed. What I'm saying is because you said in what I'm saying though Using your example Alicia keys would be dope. So you're not going no no what I'm saying is like you pay to seek so and so Mm-hmm, and I don't care who else is going to be there are you cuz they he was saying he wouldn't boo the person Who he paid to see I'm saying I get that so I'm saying even if they whether they don't Open that if they say some wild shit where you boo them. I'm saying yes, I'll boo and like to that to that ladies first tour At least the opening acts made sense to the headline. Yeah, you get them said sometimes you'll go to a show expect, you know To see this person and the opener be something that clearly don't even fit on this. Oh, yeah, that's easy to boo I think the opener say something to wow then you wasn't good Right, right you're not doing your job. That's interesting Yeah, that's interesting cuz I get a son from situation seemed like that crowd loved the shitty was saying Well that crowd may have loved the shitty was definitely so if you go to good I tend to be a show I tend to move in a world in a way where sometimes the crowd is with some shit And I'm not but we went to a party. We went to a Paul Mooney show and Paul Mooney star ragging the fuck out of the white folks. Yeah We go like we gonna be in stitches, but what what if a white prison show? Something that she wasn't funny to me really the poor mooney. Yeah, I say it all time. Yeah, like you find like offensive or he's they find a funny Some of it is a lot for a comedy show. He went a lot. No, some of some of it is some of it is he's funny Yeah, but sometimes his his style of humor was so dry to the it would Yeah, it's the reverse of what I say about kill Tony, right? Like one once I know that you for real like Paul Mooney at times during his set and I've been to see him a million No, he'd be serious where he didn't that Joker. No, he's that sir. He's just shitting on some white white person sitting in front of him for hours To white nigga paid to me. He come from a time where you know, I mean like now he's the rest of the piece to the go Yeah, rest in peace Paul Mooney, he's that guy, but sometimes if you're there, it can become a little Yeah, funny is funny. I'm gonna talk a lot about comedy. I think today, but funny is funny and not funny It's not funny kind of to me. Yeah, and see I'm not booing nobody because I don't think they're funny I'm only gonna boo somebody if they actually like say something offensive offensive Probably but I'm most likely to boo you if you're just a piece of shit who I happen to bump into at this thing So like again, I'm not paying to see like Jerry saffron I'm not paying the bull but Jerry saffron chose terrible jokes. I think he just didn't funny anymore He's like he's never been a great. He's not really funny in me. I don't think he's gonna act either I don't know if he wasn't a really good actor on Seinfeld, but the show was great. Yes But like so like I know all that but if you start saying like Palestinians deserve to die You know what I'm saying. They're not my boo. Yeah, I'm a boo. Yeah, they're not my boo. I'm not booing you because I don't like your talent I just write the walk out and I'm gonna start You know Some M.O.P. was gonna come up Good vibes going on trying to enjoy one of the last nice days. Are you going down on Friday? - Yeah, but I still work. - You know what I'm saying, when I missed my flight, I just stayed down there and was like, yo fuck it, I might as well just keep getting shit done. - That's the thing, I thought you would be of the Patreon. So you figured you might as well just, since you missed your flight from DC. - I wasn't gonna get hit at like five, so by the time I was dead. - Was it a perfect timing? - No, by the time I would have got, airport did all that shit, got to land it. - And you could have really helped us out with some, rejuvenated us with some fucking new energy, new stories, new life, injected a new spirit into the room. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, no doubt. - But you figured, fuck it, I'll stay out there. Hey, since I missed my flight to, since I missed my 30-minute flight to DC, let me stay out of here and get some work done. I'm never had that. All right, that was cool. - And then Friday night, Nicky. - You the reason I'm asking you. - What, why are you, man? We out of this, bro, I'm listening to my man's story, say. - Okay. - But Friday night. - We're loving to go, yo, say that when he, you get some shit like a look at him. - What, be honest, I hate him a lot, I hate him a lot. - How did you season it? - Word. - I'm lost, but he just, shooting at me. Friday night, Nicky's, start hitting me. Yo, you coming to home, coming, you coming to home, coming. - Stop, it's, what's wrong with you, Nicky, man? But, but you should, to Nicky's new, you stayed. - No, Nicky's was hitting me like, yo, you coming down from home, coming. Like, when you go to, not trying to be funny, college. When you go to college, Nicky's gonna start inquiring like, yo, are you coming down to the home, coming? - You got it. - So I'm like, yo, I'm already in town. They like, where, yo, we, we doing some shit. - Oh, the college you went to? - Yeah, yeah. - So I went to college in Baltimore, I was in DC. But it's a, - So not the college you went to. - I was in DC, I went to Baltimore, school in Baltimore. - But look at him, though, he's, bro, you can go, man. - Oh my god, bro. - Well, I'm the, I don't know nothing about college, I go ahead. - So, - So Nicky's started me hitting you, yo. - You all'm already down here, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba. They like, yo, swing through, we doing some shit. But I ain't had no hair cut, I ain't had no clothes. I didn't bring nothing for festivities. - Mm. - Again. - Hey, what's that happens?
I'm talking to a bunch of chill people. - So of course you told them, "Y'all, I'm not prepared for this, man." - I'm not going. - I'ma sit this way. - I didn't even bring no clothes, yo. I'm really down here to work. My house is almost done. The queen's child project is said, "We wrapping it up." And I'm and I missed work today. I got a head back home. Of course you'd say that, right? - Right, so I ended up, uh-- - But then the problem was that somebody, these fucking nasty fans-- - No, so-- - Somebody did take a little pic of you at the homecoming. - You see it? - And then somebody did put it in our group chat. - Somebody. - Somebody. (laughing) - Nick is a rascal, man. - It's good about anybody else though. - That's how it's taken. - So you can't, no, no, no, we got to have fun first, and you know what, you're being at the homecoming with no shape up in the pic. - It looks great. - I got a shape up, come on. - So you look-- - But it's cool. - Okay, but it wasn't your barber. - It wasn't. - Look, look. (all laughing) - Okay, go ahead, tell your story. Let me stop being a mature girl. - And then they get cracked me too. - They get charged to be $60, I was like-- - Oh wow. - Yeah, man. - But, no, it's cool. No, so I shout out for the homecoming shit. I hadn't been there in a man long. I probably hadn't been the homecoming in 70 years. So you don't have to-- - You don't have to be famous. - I mean, that's what you want to call it, yeah, I guess. - But that shit was dope, it was really good to see. (all laughing) - Yo, I told you I'm being the dude. I'm not saying that I'm pre-read to the shit. His ice face is going to be up. (all laughing) - Ice face is going up. - Ice look at the door, it's even the door. - I don't know, it's still going up. - I'm living in this. - Anyway, it was dope. - Nah, it was dope. - You hadn't been in a while. - Yeah, so, you know, just to see, up here, we don't really get the black experience. You know what I'm saying, especially from a college perspective, it's all black university. So to just see black people coming back to their alma mater and all that shit was dope, it was real real dope. So it was just something I ain't seeing the long time. It was five. - The cultural vibes. - Yeah, it's just really, all jokes aside, it's really a dope thing to see successful black people coming back that you might not have seen in 20 or 30 years. And you start talking, my fuck is a doctor. This one, the lawyer, this one's doing this, that they got some people out their kids with them. That shit was dope. - Now, I don't have any college campus experience. So, any event that I'm around that atmosphere, how do you start talking to all these people? - Yo, it's people that you know already. So, Nigga, you might-- - That you just had, so you get to catch up. - You might have seen them in 15 years. - You get them saying? - That's what I'm saying. - That shit is dope. - He wasn't famous the last time. He was already him, but now you going back. - So what's some of the bros up to? What, what, what, what, what's some of the bros? - What's some of the bros we're doing with the bros? (laughing) - How the bros look at bros? - They've been, they've been, they've been, they've been bros. - Bros look good, right? - They too. - They're killin' shit? - Yeah. - Alright, in a great way. - Entrepreneurial shit. (laughing) - So, I'm niggas as principals, I'm nigg-- Yeah, it was dope. - You are idiotic. (laughing) - You were originally entrepreneurs. (laughing) - Oh no, I'm way worse than that. I don't even know if I should share. (laughing) - That's kind of crazy. - He had the sweats on in the pit. (laughing) - Actually, after he came up with the same pit. - I wanted to do the shit. (laughing) - That's what I wanted to know, coming shit. They got stopped and bought the sweatshook. - Shit was wagging. (laughing) That little shit. - Oh, I'm so excited to be available. (laughing) - Shut up. (laughing) - I said, I said, you jacky man. - Are you talkin' my mom? (laughing) - Oh. (laughing) - Oh. (laughing) - Lookin' for a party. (laughing) - Yo, you got a problem, son. - What's wrong with you? - Look at the picture. - I just look like I was lookin' for shot of glass. (laughing) - Yo, what is he, y'all? Let me see if you got it. - Yeah. - We'll check it out. - Check it out. - Check the picture. - Check it out. - Check it out. - I didn't zoom down to the third. - Yeah, that didn't go that far. - No, you put my meat in your mental roller deck. - Oh my god. - That's crazy. - That was wrong with you, y'all. - You're not the first time. (laughing) Anyway, glad you had fun catching up with the fellas, man. - Yeah. - Over the head at the home, man. - The gang, yeah, man. - To the school that you didn't go through that you ended up seeing anybody that you knew. (laughing) - No, I ain't Mark and Freeze, man. - Look at Mark, dude. - No, I ain't nothing. - Niggas need a hunt, anyway. - Yeah, I love it. - What was it, man? (laughing) - He grew up, man. What was it like in terms of being like a JVP person? I'm sure you drew a lot of more attention than normal. - Ah, I'm here. Niggas loved a show, bro. Like, it was people coming up to me 50, 60, well, 60 years old talking about the show episodes. Literally, the fan base is so wide. That it was shocking. Like, my fuckers would be 23, 24 years old, but then it was people coming up. Like, yo, I'm an attorney that I, they 60 years old. Talking about the show that shit is dope. - That's where I got to help my boy out with the law, that's the time. When I used the law, I did that too. I bounced between the extreme, yo, they was 60. And it was from 22 years old. (laughing) Niggas left a lot, it's me right here. He had to go, you know, feel so good seeing this happening. Yo, what was it? (laughing) - Hey, which, you need the peers out there. (laughing) - No, I didn't fit that one. - And it was from 21 years old. They look up to us, yo, like, you know, I went to the wide, we brave, bro. - No, I got it, that's where you went. (laughing) - Anyway, I'm glad you stayed here. - I'm glad you're here, man. - Yeah, that sounds like it for a weekend. - Shout out to Morgan State, they got to go out of work too. Morgan State, homecoming, what? - Yo, you stupid. - I just would expect you to go cop out for just something like that. - I wasn't planning on going there, bro. - I'm telling you, you got to retire, man. - There's no other way to get for this. - I really was not planning on. - It always be the hottest event in D.C. and he wasn't planning on going. - Yo, so if I planned on it, you don't think I would have wore something better than this? And that was my plan. - No, I think it was a point. I think it dressed like that. (laughing) - I think you did. - You right, you're right. - I think it chaired up in his barn outfit. (laughing) - So I'm like, "Yeah, it's me." (laughing) - He was really mean. - Yeah, man. - With no hair. - You're not, you never thought I'd be able to do it. Do it the issue, but it's my issue. - He's gonna make sure I'm never gonna do it. - Yo, man. - Did anybody else do anything interesting? - I want to pass the mic shit and Connecticut out of blast. I saw a lot of friends in the show. I realized that I don't like casinos. I've kind of, why? - Why? - What? - It's too overstimulating, everyone in there looks like they're not really having the greatest of times and they might not be. - They have. - My end they usually ain't. - I don't like the fake oxygen shit. I'm feeling like I'm high in there the whole time. - No, she a bag. - No, no, it's not. What the fuck ya? Do y'all do a shot? It's a shot of love. - Corey giving me some healthy shit. - So let me juice? - Paul. - The show was great, so we had a really good time. - They look like, you mean all casinos or just Connecticut. - It was a nice casino. - Where'd you go? - I know, but he was on. - Yeah, it was nice. - Yeah, it was dope. - I might see it in the song. But casinos in general, I'm never really positive. - You never been a mole, you guess what? - No, I don't gamble, I say out of casinos. - I mean, you could add a performance there. - Oh no. (laughing) - Not at all. (laughing) - It's not as light as stupid, ya know. (laughing) - Mojito's son is dope. - Yeah, super fly. - Yeah, yeah, like he is dope fly. - And everybody performs in him shit. - It's like the MGM, when we just say, - This is new? - Mojito's son is new. - No, no, nigga, I shit like, 30 years old, 40. - Okay, let's do it. - It looked like it's renovated, that shit was, "No, this shit is nice." - Nice shit. - I ain't been in a while, but that shit is nice. - I'm just not much for Gable, and I lost like $300, it's about 45 seconds, I was like, you know what? - What you play? - Ulet. - Oh, that's the game. - I know. - I do Blackjack when I do it. - No, Ulet. - I do both. - But I'm not a gambler, so I'm not good at it. - Yeah, I'm not good at it. - I throw a cup of ours in, win a lose, I'm out too. - Little baby, look like he was having a blast. - Little baby. - I didn't see his, where he was having a blast. - Little baby, little baby, little baby was at the table, turning it up. - You ain't see it? - Nah. - Little baby was gambling, I wanna say his biggest. - Cracking him. - And he was talking to him big money shit. - Okay. - He was cracking him? Or he looked like he was cracking him? - He said, "I'm one sign, I'm playing for too much mortality, "shut the fuck up, shut up, bad juju." While I'm gambling big money. - High stakes. - Get her out of here, he was bugging out. - Have a good time, bro. - Were you always a non gambler? Did you like having bad experience? - Uh, no. No. - I like sports betting, but I don't care about my story, I have to really start my price fixing it. - Ah. - Got you. - Oh man. - Yeah, no, I got on cool when I'm bad. Yeah, when I'm bad, I'm cool, got you. And I worked too hard for mine to just piss it all away. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, without feeling it. - Pussy coming back. (laughing) - Like. - I mean. - Get the shick out there.
- Let's come back, that's what, that's valid. - That's an honest low, yeah, that's what you do. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Without a wizard girl, right? - What the hell are you doing? - Winning more money. - Just sitting there. - Or losing it all. - Yeah, I'm a thing. - Even when I go to Vegas and I'm at the win, I'll go down there and play one of the restaurants nearby, or the coffee shop nearby, or shop. Or shop. Like that's my, that's as close as I'm gonna get to, because you know, you're not fucking tables at all there. - No, no, no, no, not at all, not at all. - Really? - Not as you fucking get that at all. - Yeah, I'm a fan. - I only play roulette. Nothing else. - I got chips in my bag. - What's the most you will in the loose? - I mean, if I, I don't know what I'm gonna play with, if I start out with a stack, I'm willing to lose it. - Okay. - But I'm not going, I don't, I don't re-up. - You know, you don't end up, you know, like a stripper, you know, back at the AT machine, and you like, what the fuck, like you don't do in the game. - No, no. - I'm disciplined, I'll go there, if I, whatever I do, if I lose this, I'm out. - Got you. - See that ain't gambling to me. - Yeah, that is gambling. - No, it ain't. - It's discipline gambling. - That's discipline, yeah, I don't have that. - Discipline. - Yeah, that shit is. - Should I get up? - Once I make back, whatever my initial was, I put that to the side, and now I'm just playing with this, and once that's going, I'm out. What's the most you ever wanted to casino? - Like four. - Thousand? - Yeah. - Nice. - Let's go, big freeze. - That's good, yeah. - Fish? - Most I have a one? - Yeah. - Probably like four or five, man. But I've lost way, I think the most I lost was like seven. - Hey, man, something like that. - When I relish it, blackjack, I'm on reled. I had a streak. If I get like three or four in a row, I'm done. Like when I go to DC, I get him a lot. Like I go to the MGM. They got fucking ID clear water in the casino now. Just high-car low-car, and you just be moving. - Yeah, it gets me crackin' on. - How's wins, man? That's the thing. If you play longer, if you're gonna lose it in a casino, so it's a good point, you know what I mean? Blackjack makes you feel like you got something, because it feels a little bit like it's mad, it feels a little bit like you like your eyes. And I'm pretty good at blackjack, you know what I mean? I got the abs and was like obsessing with it after a while. But then, I have to work too hard to make my money. And it wasn't enough money, or you end up down, or you fightin' to get it back, I'm like, it's not, all it gives me is anxiety. Like I don't have fun doing it at some point. This ain't fun. - But that's the fun part with Gambler. - Yeah. - For some people, it's really the rush. - It's the rush. - The casino is where you walk around when you're tryin' to get that score. - If you just walk around the casino. - I don't know if there was Escortzip, but we can sign when I was, I didn't say it was. - It was. - It was. - It was. - Try to shoot me, yes it was. - It was. - It was a Sunday, I think it was a Sunday. - It was shut down, it was money in there. - It was the Escortzip. - Maybe yeah. - Maybe I missed a fact. - Maybe I missed a sign. - So I was Sunday. - I don't get a high stakes room in there. - I have a high stakes room in there, right? - I'm sure. - I didn't see it everywhere. - If there's a high stakes room in there, it's absolutely it. - The low stakes room. - Where do you gentlemen want to begin? Anywhere y'all want to begin, I am totally fine with. - Let's start with SNL then. - Yeah, let's do it. - Shane Gillis. - Shane Gillis monologue has set half the world on fire. - Yup. - Shane Gillis. - He went into monologue and basically said how women are dressing like horrors at the gym. - Okay. - Cute observation, Shane Gillis. - That guy, especially in New York, it's a nightmare, dude. It's just the hottest gay guys you've ever seen. They're jacked and they look at me, they're like, yeah, right. I know, dude. Also, I've been to the gym in so long. I didn't know women just dress like horrors now. Look, there's no other way to describe. Have you seen it? I've seen the shorts. Have you seen the shorts? There's neon, they're like, they're like artificial bait colored. The wrinkles go around the cheeks and all combine at the butthole. And don't look. You're not allowed to look. For real, don't look because they all are filming. I'm in the background of like 10 TikToks right now. Oh, the equipment. I've been in the gym in so long and the equipment's changed. It's all like kettlebells and rubber. That was it. That was it. And a lot of women were upset. But why? They didn't like being, saying that they dress like horrors. - Yeah. I think it was the horror part. - Yeah. The horror part, bro. You disagree? What y'all think about that as dudes with dicks? I watched the monologue. I didn't think it was funny. I didn't want you to lead on the dudes with dicks for it. It's like a sad one. Hey, when I say dudes with dicks, don't just jump out there. What did you do? What did you all do? You think first. I didn't think it was that bad, honestly. Like, maybe the wording was terrible. It wasn't that bad. I didn't want you to say anybody go to the gym. Yes. Like, "Horrors in the gym?" Horses might be a little excessive. - Yeah, that's the point. - That's the problem. - Okay. - That's it. That's it. - There is a, in many gyms, there's a risqué look that a lot of women have. They're wearing what you call them shoes? Amazon? - Oh, the Amazon leggings? - The Amazon leggings. - Of course, they got the built-in crack part. They wear those a lot in the gym. So for an older dude like Shane, it might be a culture shock for him. - Shane's like younger than us. (all laughing) - He jumping in. (all laughing) - That's the way. That's the way. - That's the way. - That's the way. - I don't see what the problem is though. That's my only thing. Like, as a dude, bet. That's his observation. - Yeah, I think this is just comedy and maybe the horror was a bad way to word it, but I hate police in comedy. - Why is that a bad word in comedic sense? - I don't think it is. - It shouldn't be. - It shouldn't be. - I don't know why they're judging Shane Gillis's SNL monologue as if it was like a presidential speech. It's not. It's a comedy set. You say words to be funny. - Sure. - Hors-- - A political correctness is not necessarily the thing you're looking for. - You're kind of looking for the opposite. - Like honestly. - Especially Shane Gillis has historically been not politically correct. - I agree. - All right. - A lion's temper. - All right, Mark. You go ahead and do it. You go ahead. - I agree. Do you really? No. I think it's crazy. I think it's a couple of things. One, I think SNL is a certain genre of comedy and I think his set for that audience didn't match. And I think there's moments like he was making a hiking joke. There was a much funnier joke there that he couldn't say. And so you could watch him kind of self-sensor because he recognized in that moment that the joke he was what he was trying to say, he couldn't fully say on air. So I think Shane knows that it's a tightrope you walk in. When you do it, Dave Chappelle has to walk that tightrope. Other people walked that tightrope. Chappelle did it masterfully. I don't think Shane Gillis did it. Forget it being offended. I just think it was funny. I just didn't laugh a lot on the set. That aside. But as far as the horror thing, I think that joke could be made in a lot of ways that could be funny. Saying that making joke about gym attire and how it looks now versus how it looked before or how it looks to him, but I think that's a great joke. I just think the punchline of horror was too hard and if you turn off half your audience if not more, it didn't work. I mean, I'm about to march in the streets from it. I just think it was a bad joke. That's what gets me though. I don't get the. I saw people literally outraged. Yeah. I can see why. No, you can't. That I don't. That I don't. Even if I disagree with using the wording of horror, I don't see the outrage. Tell me more. Let me ask you a question. If a woman comics said it, would the outrage be the same? I've seen women comics have said it. No, I was asking more. I don't know if it would be. I think the world. I think the world, horror in particular, and a lot of it's cultural, different people. We use that word. I'm saying we appear, like I know we use it like playfully. Some people use that word and don't. I'm sorry, some people don't use that word in that way. That particular word. That word. It's like the word. The C word. Right. That word is offensive across the board, I feel like. I'm telling you, when I grew up, I did not know how offensive that was as I got around white people. I'm telling you. I'll maybe have to give it to people. Black people don't use that word. The four letters C word. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I had no white people. I didn't know that that was like. Yeah. The third rail. I didn't find that shut 'cause I was like. This was saying like. And so I know for a lot of people, particularly like who identifies feminists or who identifies as. That word "hor" isn't like "ho." Like they literally feel different about that particular word. So I'm just saying, I see how, for some people, that shit trigger, it's like a trigger. To me, it just was an unfunny joke, but I get how people feel about that. I agree with you. I don't think this was his best set. It wasn't. No. I don't have a problem with this joke. I don't have a problem with. Because the overarching joke for the most of this monologue was how out of shape he was. Yeah. Right. And how he's out of touch with what is going on, really wasn't even about the women. It was to laugh at him. Outside of not being his best set, I just think if this is over the line in comedy, then all of comedy is over the line in comedy. I think that they just. The world in general doesn't know how to feel about Shane, doesn't like Shane for various things. That's the reason, with his previous podcast, with the anti-Asian rhetoric and standing
To people politically that some people don't like or even just hanging out being friends with Rogan and deal bond and them But you didn't say I hated that part of his said. Oh, I was at Joe Rogan Tells and the old bond was in the sauna and they said I look like a ache like This just wasn't his best set at all even with what he was trying to do but call him to my or in the comedy said no But we keep saying comedy said. I'm not saying you can't say horn comedy said. I'm just saying it was a bad match for the platform SNL like historically like we see when people know and bro had this problem in the 70s There are people who just like you do a comedy set and it doesn't fit this genre. I think if he does that on on Netflix, I think it's a different joke I don't know if I agree with you about About the tight rope. Yes, I know it exists. I don't believe everyone walks the same tight rope You know like when Dave she pellets up there you can sense it from his set like you say and I think he's fumbled on that tight rope a lot He's offended a lot of people Jane is Lauren's best friend like with the do whatever the fuck you want pass, which is part of the reason that they're killing him Yes, I think if he if he didn't have that pass Maybe he would have had to be more thoughtful about making the joke funny I think it was almost a laziness to it. Did I have to do that again? I'm not outraged about Joe. I just don't think it was funny I get why people find it offensive, but for me it just wasn't funny It was just a much more creative interesting way to tell that story or to make that joke. I ain't even take it as that Was the joke like like you saying that he's the joke Like like Joe said. I'm describing me out of shape. I'm just this is an observation a quick little hit point in the whole Yeah, that wasn't the punch. Yeah, that wasn't the punch So I'm not looking at this as oh you tried to tell a joke here, and it just wasn't funny that was not the punch It was a joke. It was a joke. It was just a They just not fucking with Shangulous. That's what it is. That's how I look from it. That's how it goes Yeah, don't fuck with you. It don't love Richard prior and then be mad about this I don't think Richard prior makes that joke on the NSL same way. Again, I'm not talking about making a joke It's on SNL. It's just the SNL part of it is I'm talking about see. I don't know what they're yeah I mean watch SNL minor logs they usually very tame You're usually not done by comedians They're often not funny. Oh I mean you saw Jaylen you saw I mean Kim Kardashian I mean they're usually not even that good. I mean, I don't love SNL minor logs in general But very few people come and when comedians come sometimes they do their old set material instead of writing something for the for the night And when they do the old set material sometimes it's a weird mismatch sometimes it's just not funny sometimes offensive Whatever I just I just think he is a bad choice. I just think a problem when they're on SNL. It's a problem when they're in guitar Where where can you perform You got a fucking crack the blue note Where can a comedian go and do comedy the port authority? Don't stand there with a cup. Oh my god is tough. Do it wherever you want just make it funny. It's tough boy I didn't see you during cancer culture No, I don't cancel like I'm not I'm not big on canceling people for me is more like critiquing people I'm just like I think it was funny. I didn't like it. Yeah, same same chain Yeah, it wasn't great. It wasn't be better Shane. It wasn't a great set for you know who will be funny on November 7th Who's that November 7th is very important day? Super important day Because it is the day the Druski hosts SNL Okay, okay, it was announced today officially Congratulations first online personality in the history of the show to actually host the show Big deal that's major some major big deal congrats. Hey, keep that applause going for Druski. Yeah, we're I'm excited. Let's run the numbers up for Druski. Let's run him up. That's a fact I'm deep and all of that sketch comedy shitty that I can't wait I'm curious how he handles the monologue because he's not usually just like a monologist Sure Stand up, right? He's on a standup community like I I just watched the module brook standup. I See it there's a hard it don't translate for everybody like you're you're you think of module brook shit I didn't laugh at all. Yeah, I cut it off after the first. I was like. Oh, yeah, this is this I see why Certain people in that realm don't hit that stage. I got it. I understood right there I think if you don't stand up SNL is a pretty safe place though because they have so many writers Like that might be where he gets the most that's fair. Oh, that's true. That's true. Yeah, Kim Kardashian didn't write her shit. No, I'm He's asked but the jokes were pretty funny just as an example. So I think you might have a you might have a decent judge Ellen Brunson didn't do terrible Given that he's not a coach got you got you got you. Yeah, that makes that makes sense. I know. Yeah, I'm that's that's our man, but I was kind of That wasn't the worst part of it. I was just as a Nick van. I'm mad that they keep giving him a mic to make a speech Like at this point. We've seen enough speeches to say all right, Jaylin like we got it And then they always bring the rest of the nicks like they good at speeches. You toss it to OG He may not be so. Yeah Keep giving them speaking gigs and they're filled to the money through like oh, you know, listen I'm not mad about that. Yeah, I'm not mad at it at all, but I don't tune in anymore I thought he was actually decent as no like he doesn't have a career in acting or comedy, but Like I thought he did a solid job, you know, they're rappers get heavy. Maybe laugh a little bit Congratulations to Drew skee. It's a big deal bucket list type shit, man. I know you're gonna kill it Do y'all think he's going to they gonna give him the keys? What do you mean like free rein? Yeah, you know, there's different, you know, there's different levels of Of creative freedom they give you. I hope they let them run free. I would hope that he or whoever Is in charge of writing his skits helps write their skits For him, you know what I'm saying because sometimes their skits are a little hit miss anyway. Yes His are rarely miss. So he's he's already got a track record Yeah, and I think based on his track record to they know that he Teed is the line. I don't think they'll rope them in I agree I think he'll um, I think I think he'll and I think he's a sketch is gone I think the sketches he gonna knock out the part. Yeah, I think he'll pull them into his stuff That's the key they don't know party y'all they think that this long long time White establishment with these older white executives will bring in the hottest young black comedic talent and Stifle him no Y'all think they're entirely possible y'all think there's a shot that He can get some of their white face stuff off I don't know how far he'll go, but I think that I think that me personally I think that SNL ain't what it used to be And I think they're venturing out to try and pull more people in now to to to keep that shit afloat I think in a negotiation to even do the the show. I think he got a little bit of leverage in saying oh you see Yeah, see my know you see what I do. Yeah, so I have to be able to have do maybe maybe I don't have free reign But I gotta have some level of creative control over something. I do not think that's your skewer free reign That's my opinion. I don't think I have free reign. Oh, I'm sorry. No, no, I don't think I have free reign I just think that he has good comedic sensibilities and I think he'll make choices that won't be that Outstep with what they would want like he's not bringing the white face idea to them And I think that might be the difference to be sure I wouldn't be shocked if there was white face I really wouldn't really yeah, I would okay, then I'd be wrong on that. Yeah, I don't see it But I'm hoping to be a wrong way. I just think he has such a range of comedic abilities and I think he's smart If SNL asked him to do white face. I'm sorry Mark if you're him. Do you do it? Oh, yeah, no Hell no, I don't think he would do it. I don't think if they have this is too big of a this this ain't the Internet skits and stuff This ain't that why do you think he won't noise to the fuck his brand up? Yes, I think he's smarter than that Mm-hmm. I just think it's too bright. No, no, he knows the platform. That was me. Yeah, I was just asking I don't even I'm just saying the the level of attention that this gets isn't What he normally does this is a whole different market. There's a whole different audience this a whole different set of eyes I don't need to be going out here making so much noise to wear now. This could affect everything else. I got going if they let him do that Jake Paul is gonna be black Hey, y'all better be ready for me. You're better be ready. Show time You might be ready. Yeah, at this point is he doing more for SNL than SNL's doing for him? Oh, Drew's key No, that's still SNL over there, bro. I think I mean a lot of people say SNL's dying. I'm talking about it. They moved to They dead dying. I'm asking. No, no, no, no, I know I think it's mutually beneficial, but I don't think that they are he's not where SNL is I agree. Yeah, we talked in 50 60 years Totally different and I know the ratings go up. I hope that they say ratings go. I want to go I hope they go up significantly just to prove his value and his worth and I hope they bring him back But if I'm the platform that young Eddie Murphy is right through the head that that young everybody Everybody yeah, yeah, it's most of her favorite story and some from there and some former another SNL's obviously Like a franchise that you want to be a part of in
and it adds, like you said, as to the resume, it's a bucket list thing. I don't know the extent to which now in 2026, SNL is gonna make Drusky richer, or extend his reach that much. I think it will, and I think it's a great look for him. But I also don't wanna underestimate, SNL is making a whole lot of money online. They're making a whole lot more money digitally than they are on linear TV. And that's Drusky's world. So I'm just saying, I don't also don't wanna underestimate. - Yeah, I said I think-- - That's I think mutually beneficial, right? - Yeah, I don't think they're doing him a favor. - No, I don't think it's an honor, but it's not a favor. - Yeah, I think he is who he is, and I think that they are now recognizing that we're not, we gotta pivot a little bit. We gotta pivot a little bit. - And I love that, I do love that. And they are recognizing that most of the hosts that they hired for this season have been young, up-and-coming, online personalities, they are, so shout out to them. - Yeah, there's a show like SNL, is there room for sketch comedy shows anymore? - Well, it's funny. - That's it, funny. - And SNL's always a dice roll, and it always has been historically, like people say, "You used to be way funny your back in the day." It wasn't, it was always hit and miss. - You just said it. - The one's a hit, the one's a hit, hit. - The funny one's then a test of time, so people still talk about them and go back and watch those. - Right, or the people go on to become super stars, like Will Ferrell and then, and then you go back and watch, and be like, "Oh, that was funnier than it was at the time when I didn't know who the fuck this was." But now that I'm in love with this character, this actor, this is funnier now. - Yeah. - That happens a lot with them. - I think so too. Bring back whose line is it anyway? - I like that show. - I love that show. - That's a great show. - Absolutely love that show. - That's cool. - That's the kind of stuff I'd love to see. Super, super creative, geniuses on it, doing amazing shit on the fly in front of an audience that appreciates that, like that, that, that, that show. - It would be extremely tricky in this era where, Shane Gillis gets criticized for a slip of a word, or maybe intentional slip of a word. - Yeah. - But an improv show? - Wayne Brady wouldn't slip like that. - No. Wayne Brady will never say the word. - That's true. - That's true. - Super clean cut, man. It's out to Wayne Brady. - It worked. - I was watching, I was watching, I was watching a Dane Cook movie. - Okay. - I was watching a Dane Cook movie, and he was talking about, it chronicled his entire rise to fame, and he was talking about being invited to do SNL and turning it down and just sticking on his, you know, Chitlin circuit comedy route that he was on. And he said, he would watch SNL, and the comedians that would do it, and they were blowing up big time, all of the Chris Rocks and everybody, and he was on stage, just fucked up, struggling. Eventually later in the movie, he got bigger, and they invited him back, and it was a whole big thing. But in that Dane Cook movie, why it's interesting, and why you maybe should watch it, this is not an ad. The whole movie is about his brother stealing his entire fortune. - Huh. - True story. - Yeah, was his brother anybody of no, it was just-- - No, how do you steal his money? - This is brother. - Is it managed or something? - His brother, long story less, long clip no version, his brother worked as a CEO at a jail somewhere. - Okay, okay. - Right, and one of the inmates, one day, fucked him up real bad to the point that he almost died. So Dane Cook did him a solid, said, yo, quit that job, come work with me. It was one of those, hey, you work with me, but just hand, pick up the phone. - Right, right. - Hand him the store for me, if I need you. - Yeah, and all that type stuff. And through his working relationship with his brother, stole probably over $12 million. - Yeah, I am. - Sheesh. - Yeah, stole $12 million, yeah. - And Dane had no idea. - How do you found out? - I used to know I fucked my brother up. - Yeah, he fucked up from the slug. - You can't steal it all the one time. - You still, $12 million, a lot of money. How much Dane took worth? - Today, huh? - I don't fucking know. - That's $12 million, that's $12 million. - He looked like he could have used it in $12 million. If you're asking me, I don't know, but like it's just saying, it was over time. And that's what they were highlighting in the movie that he would start out. He took $3,000, $10,000, $20,000. Then it stayed at $24,000. Then it jumped to $80,000, $80,000 to $500,000. That $500,000,000 to $1,000,000. It's just like over the course of time. Like, yeah, I had a family member take $50 for me. - And if you're not checking your money. - Yeah. - And you trust the person that's handling your money. - Yeah, it's $12 million, I can't imagine me rich enough for where to $12 million. - Goes unnoticed. - Goes unnoticed, I'm sure it happens. - He was get a lot of money back, and I wouldn't need revenge. - Yeah. - Yeah, I wouldn't need revenge. - $12 million, I can't just get away with that. - Something's got to happen. - He said one of the checks that his brother took from him was for like $28,000 and like $17,000, which is what pissed him off. - He took $17,000. (all laughing) - You're already robbing me. - Right. - Leave my $17,000, you bitch ass. - You taking $17,000 for me, you bitch ass nigga. After I got you out of the jail after they tried to kill you. I would get, listen, family and money. - Or, that's a trip. - Every time. - So when your brother, that's got, - Yo, I was going back to jail. - So, kill him. - Oh, kill him, your brother. - I was, yeah, on the other side of the game. - Yeah, you on the other side now nigga. - And if brother, you should, I think at the end of the dog, the brother got away. - Oh, no, I really didn't want to do that. - They always do. - That's crazy. - $12,000. - That's some shit. Fuck your ass up. - Entertainers be getting robbed, boy. - Yeah. - I almost rather lose it to agent. - Oh yeah, you definitely don't, don't you remember? - Yeah. - Somebody that you looked out for, somebody that you did something for, and they saved life. - No, I want to lose it to somebody. I'm making find. - Yeah, where agent could go, he can go get low. I have no ties to him. - Yeah, I heard that. - My brother, I could find you with a lawyer ancestry.com. (all laughing) - That's your hurt. - That's your hurt, boy. - Yeah, that. - $12,000, that is somebody. - Sure. - You sure? (all laughing) - Right, but at least the lawyer are going to do that. - Yo, you know what the fuck, that part? - What if you can't be your brother? - Gotta find the cousin of something that can help you. - Yeah, yeah. - They used to be a CEO, they could get the boot, bopping on your ass, and store your money. - That's crazy. - That the shit, me trusting a brother's too much. - Brothers close friends, yeah. - Yeah, a lot of you. - No, that's not uncommon to be told that nobody would have. - If you go, that's the talk that nobody would have. - I agree. - 'Cause sometimes even if, let's try to give him a little benefit of that. Maybe the brother was just really bad with money, which happens a lot too. Like sometimes you put someone in position, a family member, friend, parent, whatever, and they're not even necessarily a nefarious. - The brother is incompetent, as fuck. - I can't live with that. - Yeah. - Still 12 million. - Yeah, I mean, but I'm just saying. - You're on my 28,017 cent. - That's the shit I'm talking about. - Yeah. - I can't live with you being a fuck up, 'cause then I can blame myself and I can probably get over it. Like we all make mistakes, but knowing that you burnt me, like you actually took my 28,017 cent. - Mm-hmm. - Now, I wanna blow your house up. - Y'all want to talk about duge and stuff with the tiger, right? (laughs) - I'm glad the tiger's alive. - These are my favorite shoes. - They are now euthanizing the tiger. - Yes. - The tiger did kill homeboy, rest in peace to him. - To Indy, fuck homeboy. - He was a guy found his way inside of one of the tigers. - Did we know the story of how we got into the tiger? Like, did he intent, was it a suicide mission? - Yeah, all I know is I saw that dude look at the tiger. Go like this, like that was gonna do something. - Yeah, yeah. - Well, I'm sorry, I'm uneducated on this. So my went into a zoo? - Yes. - Into a tiger dead. - Into the tiger. - Into the tiger cages. - Into a dead room. - Yeah, yeah. - And what did he go there for? - Well, what they're saying is, and again, I haven't researched anything. I'm not a journalist, and I don't plan a research in this. But they're saying that he might have been special needs. - Oh. - Oh. - I mean, that's the test. - Wait, that's funny. - I'm just saying, if you go and lay in the lines, then yeah, you probably have special needs, but that's like the definition. - Whoa. - I'm not laughing at this. - What do you think about Mark's laughter in this moment? (laughing) - What do you, what do you, what do you, if I was testing to see if he was special needs. - Put you right there. - I put him right next to the line's cage, which way do you go? - Yeah, yup, yup, yup, look, he went in there. - I've already got special needs now. - What? - Fail. - What? - We got to take this out, right? - No. (laughing) - I'm not waiting for Park after the talk. - Instead of just saying, what? - I can't offense it. - Watch? - No. - Yes. Highly offensive. I apologize to you and your people. (laughing) - Oh shit. - I'm not offended at all. - I'm just saying, yeah, it sounds like special needs behavior. I don't think a person who doesn't have special needs gets in war or who isn't drunk or having a mental illness, like I'm just saying, that's not normal. - No, you know why people are doing that? - See, I don't even think there's no why people behavior. I mean, no why people behavior. - He's reaching a hand through the thing, patting him. - He's reaching there on some, did you see the video? - He looked at the tiger and was like, hey, you stop. - Rest of peace, dude. - Come on. Like, they don't sound a little special. - He got one of these looking for. - Well, he wasn't my problem with the video. Actually, my problem with the video wasn't even in the video. I think that the handlers of special needs people are great 100%. - Because, where are you? - You felt. - Where are you? If this gentleman is special needs, how the zoo did he end up at the zoo? - Underneath a tiger's mouth. - I've been to a lot of zooists. - Wait, don't do that. Y'all love zooves, don't. - Y'all hold it. - You'd say it's special needs people shouldn't go to zoos. - I'll bring you up. - Oh, shit. - You know what I mean? - I would say, are y'all, are y'all, are y'all, are y'all? - That's the same place as maybe. - Okay. - It's getting more danger there. - There's a level of stimulation that can get confused. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. Most zoos that ain't the easiest to get into, like, for the zooists.
Visually like I've been doing up for like they usually buy some big ass glass shit like yeah, you got to look to try to get Yeah, that is why human to stupid humans go to the zoo Then to the Safari and be like oh this fence will stop him No, no, it's electric way and feed him. Yeah, it's do stop him They go jump they ask in there with a stick they arm over the fence big ass sign that says do not feed the inner Most don't put your hand over here. Yeah, and even as a cat owner, right? I have cats love cats They be fucking me up. I want to make me think a 300 pound version of this fucking thing It's about to be 300 with a tooth this right? That's a great point. It's like a Regular cats get busy word. I'm not going to fuck with a fucking lion. So you to hand-learn this kid and you see or this guy With a kid a guy the tiger was so confused words the tiger was like no way Looking around for the kid he looked around makes sure the cops wouldn't Was the tiger wind grab some a-one so I was like all right, the this guy I got to go back and watch that Jeffrey damage. It might be spicy already flavorful. You know, I don't know. Oh my god, man. Yo rest that handler Rest all right. Yes, you know much handlers make I Used to be a wrap around. I'm just telling you if you pay me $10. I don't need to be a wrap around I don't You could pay to like Like in schools or TSS workers wrap around basically you follow special needs person around and like make sure that they don't go The tiger cake right like a tail. Yeah, so you give me $10 an hour, $12 an hour And now I got to Pulse my out of a tiger cage. No, don't ever be in the tiger cage That's what I'm saying how much of my Tesla this way if I don't told you twice Meal But your next kid will just see what happened Wait just for shits and giggles. How much you think the the the wrap around you make It depends if I'm in school it depends do you want me to stop them from going in a cage or not? Mark going to fight for some fucking rights. How much you think these job We need to know if I'm a tiger duty I mean, I mean, I mean, if you make it hard if you get my bicycle in the major digging Don't move I said do that don't move to your mother get back. You got to help me read I'm get to the class some are like a high function So they seem like regular Until they get the tiger to the day. Yeah, and that's how you get comfortable I'm going to run it back the way right here. Well, but as a special needs parent. I wouldn't give my kid to just another person Not you nigga. I'm not trusting none of you fucking humans with my kids. I fuck y'all I have to go have fun so I'm got to work. That's true. So I'm got to mom's got to go to work. I feel awful about all of it. I'm really sorry. He's See that I didn't realize oh you changed your tone I'm changing tune up. No, he about to make a joke. I lining it up Wow, you bet it is no shame will is
No, no, it was it was really bad. Yeah, no, no, that was all I didn't I'm not making fun of him being especially me change it to him once you learned he was trans Transpecial needs and Mark would have jumped it and the lines bit himself and saved that link with a spear Rest in peace to homeboy man. Yeah, rest in peace and arrest that handler Rest in so much to be arrested anyway, anyway, what else we got what else we got going on already in jail So can't be word crazy. I'm just glad they kill him say him. I hate to see that. But what else will we at? Under some music shit. Yeah, let's get it. There's music. Why not we fail on social social We're not very good social justice. We're gonna get better though. Not at all. We'll get better. I did all not we're not gonna get So what's in the music Well Summer Walker's beef with her record label. Mm-hmm. Looking to get released and moved Jesus summer. Yeah summer Walker. Yeah No, probably probably not no, no, no, no It were you are a starra starra. Yeah, a starra. What's all right? Do you know? Some of Walker's attorney plans to vigorously defend against interscopes law school law suit over her record deal But says they are still willing to meet the label at the negotiating table Walker's in dispute with universal music group subsidiary over the status of the contract she signed back in 2017 The R&B singers sent a legal notice in August Terminating the record deal under California's seven-year statute, which limits the length of personal services contracts in the state Interscope then responded on Friday, October 19 by suing Walker claiming she will owe $50 million if she walks away before fulfilling her album commitments She's delivered three out of the five albums three out of the five over it still over it finally over it She's also produced two Ep's clear and I forget the name of the other one that will not count against her contract So their position is you owe us two albums give us our two out their position as you ain't over it yet Exactly we ain't over it. We ain't over it. You wonder it yo dog. So let me ask you a question Why do artists do Ep's if they don't count for anything try to get hot stay hot Something in the market while you're working on something bigger typically is the idea and sometimes the labels will play the game like Sometimes you find out that EP don't count After us out Oh It's a tightrope you walk in and feeding your fans and feeding you off filling your contract Like like parks it you might got to keep something in the marketplace stay hot stay on their minds Used to be the whole outside out of mind thing. So you want to have music out there and let people know you are indeed working on music It could be an indicator for how the music is going to sound is coming. There's a bunch of reasons you could do it market research You can still and for some people it might it might count somehow That's what I sometimes have a project or something like that Yeah, probably depending if it does well enough. I'm sure the label would be willing to What's never put some money behind it and then all right now now we'll count towards something. Yeah And the fucked-up part is you get down to your last album or so and they hit you with the all right Well, we're not releasing this yet until we renegotiate So now you so now we're just gonna hold you here We're not gonna put that out because if we drop this you out to deal and we want you for two more or one in the option That's seen it happen bro. That's summer side Describes this contract as brutal offering $110,000 advance and 16% royalties after recruitment Yeah, she's invoking California's 1944 law to leave after seven years. I don't think it's gonna work. No. No. No, I don't think it's gonna work You know, but it's not It's not I believe this is not a this is not a new trick that She's come up with this this existed back when I was trying to get out of my and Is it something if it did work it opens up the floodgates for every artist in the world I've been under contract for more than seven years to get out of this shit and it worked. They would have done this already. Yeah That personal services rule is not really meant for artists contract. Right You can go in and argue whatever you want to but I just don't see them Holding that down. I'm confused. I'm confused why she wouldn't just hand in two albums She sounds like she doesn't like the splits. I don't think they've commented Her son you're not gonna like the splits, right? You're not gonna like the splits that part but but and again To my sister's point what if what if you turned into an album and they just know oh no, we're not doing it. We got we're not letting you out The goal is not for you to get from out this deal She has the leverage if her last album did 3 4 5 million records Okay, you have the leverage then you go she just puts in your work stoppage Maybe handled differently by the label and you can negotiate. They may be open to that if we got you dead the rights and You ain't done nothing to make us change our position and then what are we changing? No, we can we can read your obligation. We can renegotiate Or amend the contract you leaving is not part of the negotiation We're not amending this contract if you not know. I'm saying with the two albums you saying just turning your two albums I think more artists would do that if it were that simple. No. Yeah, yeah again. I'm talking about saying that I'm not saying that it's a simple Route right like I'm a dinosaur. So it was gatekeeping going on when I had my deal. You could hand in whatever you want How they are released was up to the label. I don't know what exists today because I'm far removed But you hand them in and I don't know what the contract says some say it's done. Once you hand them in some say they got to be upon release We have to approve this album. It's all types of shit. The contract can set I would have handed them to them so fast. I did you gave to them whatever split are bad music? Yeah, whatever do what you want with them I'm done, but I just don't see this working out too well. Yeah me either me either Thought some crazy like I said, I've seen this happen Like I watched it with somebody and You can hand that album in that label saying no, we don't want you to leave. We don't care We ain't doing nothing until we start renegotiating over here first. I will hold your last album for the next 17 years We don't get cold. Yeah, have a long and you can't do shit after it could be done. We thank you Thank you for this amazing three album run. Yep, you did you're done good for us Awesome and now go do whatever you doing label don't give a fuck Label don't get we had a run life expectancy as artists is short. So when I get one that is a summer I'm not letting go If it's just a wreck right away. I said things. I'm also not gonna just handed any old album to me and think that that we're all good No, you got to hand me in something that's good. That's the other thing up to our Stand apart. Yeah, that was the other that I think um, I think was under a thousand says something about that where a album didn't count Because it has to be comparable to your previous works or something like that. So you can't give me no bullshit You can't just go make no bullshit and hand this here and say oh, it's my album. No, it's not we know what you could do This ain't no album so you go and and how you gonna make money now Because you can't release music no right and it's bad bad out here now you went on tour already because they'll get you They'll get you you can't do shit online like they and ain't just the music Now the the deals is they locking down like it's artists that couldn't do freestyle Just a freestyle that keeps me hot. I can't go to on the radar and do a freestyle. I can't go to LA she might be cut. She might be cutting those despite her face Yeah Without knowing any all that details super details. Yeah, which maybe there is some agreement to shit that we're not privy to a good manager I don't know whose managing her would advise her against this route the route of California law dead. Yeah Yeah, best of luck sucks for the summer fans were Because it does sound like there will be some level of work stoppage for sure. It has to be. Yeah, if you're right They're not letting if they're not gonna drop and you're not gonna record right Yeah, I wonder who her team is Isn't she down with love for Renaissance? Renaissance, I don't know if that's a manager. Oh, okay. Got it. Got it. I was looking it up Yeah, I don't know that And I mean without speaking to them I would imagine they want two more. I'm still I would imagine So now you're you know now you at odds a few different ways. Yeah Aubrey banks I Keep uncovering Jinkies I missed you is you okay that I part different when you're not here. You don't care about that Missed you man. Why would I care about that? I don't know. Oh, I don't know. Just thought you might get a fuck you next time
(laughing) He basically said, "Fuck you in the pot." - He said that when he made it to the home company. - Oh my God, my DC flight was delayed. Yo, he don't even hear why that's funny to me. My DC flight was delayed. That flight is 11 minutes long. (laughing) - No, I ain't say it got delayed, it got pushed. - Oh, I thought that meant delayed. - Was it different? - No. - Put, they rescheduled you for a whole different flight. Whole different, like, so let's, how your flight was? - Yeah. - They give you, they gave you another flight. - You were in Turks and Cacos, right? - Yeah. - Yeah. (laughing) - You think that, you could've went to Hertz. - I already had a truck at Hertz. (laughing) - No, I'm not talking about the one. - Yeah, come on up, we got, we got, we got, we got, we got, we got, we got. - No, don't you. - No, don't you. - We got no, don't you. - We do have no, don't you. Let's see, let's see, let's see. - Let's see, come on, come on, come on, come on. - No, she was going. - There's nothing back. - Oh, sorry. - All right, let's see, new, dopey, new, dopey. I don't have it. (laughing) - Guys, great. - Oh yeah, there's, I got it, I got it, I got it, I got it. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) - Oh, there you have it. - There you have it. This is a new dopey, this record is called Bums. - Okay. - I don't know if it's a teaser, it's only a minute, it's something long. The video is fire, which she directed. I'm not sure if I love this song, but. - She was saying some shit. - I'm gonna say some shit, I'm just. - She was saying some shit, I don't necessarily, like that pop has never been my pop. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Be like Bums over back then. - But she was saying some shit. - She was saying shit. - Lyrically, she was saying some shit. - Yeah, for sure. - I fuck with this. - Yeah, yeah, I like this shit a lot. - I need to hear it a few more times. I just love hearing her rap, so she can be a little bit. - She's fucking going, and I like the flow. Like you said, that Bums over back, that real. - Super fat. - Rapid fat. - I love it. - But still, I could hear it, like, I fuck with this. - I fuck with it too. I need to hear it a few more times. It's really digested, but I thought it was dope. - I'm curious to see what her vision is. You know what I'm saying? She's a very artistic artist. - Yeah, she is. - And what if she's gonna go this route for the whole project? - Yeah, this song, I mean, I don't know. - Where I would listen to it, but I love it. I love that she's pushing the creative boundaries with the song and the video, and I love that she has the freedom to do it. She's also tearing this motherfucker up. - Yeah, she's tearing this motherfucker up. - She's rapping. - I also love, I was around long enough to remember when there were rumors that Jungle would make its way into the hip-hop scene. I was there for some of that, and I like Jungle, so this gives me some of that. I like it, I fuck with it. I ain't used to see what else you got going on, but she's tearing this up. And at a time with a conversation around female rappers is some of that shangilist gym conversation. Oh my God, you dress like Horses. You sound like Horses, your content is Horses, Horses, Horses. This should be somewhat refreshing. - It is, and what I like is, fuck female rapper. There's a lot of rappers that can't do that. - Oh, for sure. - That's what I like. - I love how that tempo is. - Yeah, that shit's not easy, bro. So yeah, when I hear rappers do that, it does make me, it does put me in awe of their diction. - Yeah. Yeah, just being able to get those words out fast at that level is-- - That's physically fucking difficult. - It's a supreme ability, and not many rappers can do it. I couldn't do it. Many of us have speech impediments. Even if you don't know that you have a speech impediment, you probably have one if you try to say a bunch of words or unbeat. - So for her to do this, clear, she smoked that. - Sometimes you need to just throw out a supreme display of talent. - For sure. - Fuck what this do. - And with the video-- - Just let y'all know. - Doing the video too. - Yeah, which look great. - Yeah, I'm fucking talented, I'm her. - And I'm forward to it, then. - And I'm gonna always love the dark skin girl doing the sex symbol thing. That's gonna always be a fan of that, so. - Yeah, she's beautiful. - Shout to Douchy. - Shout to Douchy. - Sounds good. - I piece it up, man. I'm over there, should you say it about straight dudes. - I'm piece it up. - I forgot about that. - My older grudge, I'm like a boy. Now I'm over there. This is absolutely fire, congrats. Go Douchy, you can't wait to hear what else is going on. - What else in music? What else is in? - I mean, it's no drop to another thing, but it wasn't music, it was some video announcing a single karma on the 14th, which is tonight. Or yes, today. It's today. - Is karma the record that we heard? - I'm assuming my single karma is yours on October 14th. - Snow, absolutely love you. Won't lie to you. Not the time for a bunch of announcements. - Yeah. - Announcements about an announcement. I know that that's some big wig person behind you telling you that that's the way to go. When you've been gone for six years, drop it. - This feels like we're getting something soon though. - Yeah, yeah. - Between having the song that was only on Instagram, which I don't think was karma, maybe it was. It says run free. - Oh yeah, that was what it was called. - This is called karma. So we're potentially getting two records in a week. That sounds like an album's coming. - We got two announcements without a song. - Yeah. - This is my thing. - This sounds like it's coming. - Like it would be different if run free was available. - Mm-hmm, true. - But you announced it. Like let's not go too crazy with announcements. Snow, I love you. I support you. Can't wait to hear what you got going on. - Yeah, can't wait to hear the single. - The official. - The official single. - So now last week, right, right? Let me talk to my R&B heads out there. Last week, a joint snuck by me, but can't get by me for too long. So as you guys know, as some of y'all know, Tide Dollar Sign has a label. - Yes. - Easy money. - Leon. - Yeah, Leon. - I'm not saying Leon. - Easy money. Leon Thomas is a name that you guys are probably familiar with. But RJ DeWeirdo is another artist signed to Tide Dollar Sign. And I think RJ DeWeirdo, I've said it before, I'll say it again. I think he has my favorite project to drop in 2026. - Oh, still. - Still. - He is all the way like that. - You played some up here before? - I don't think I went to that. - I've been playing it, but I played a bunch. I just be playing random RJ songs to start the part, end the part. That project, especially if you out there going through a breakup, oh my Lord. - At least she's beautiful, right? - At least she is. - I gotta listen to this. It is great me voting time. So I gotta, you know what I mean? - Oh yeah. - To a couple of these. - That project right there in terms of concept, how it's put together, the job he did telling a story by far, my favorite, R&B project. - Got you. - To drop this year, right? - DeWeirdo's got money. You already know that. - So now, so now, so now, the label is putting out an album. DC Money is putting out an album, which I'm excited about, because I love a few of these niggas. So they dropped the record. I'm gonna play the record. This is New to Love, Easy Money, RJ DeWeirdo, Leon Thomas, and Busy Crook, who I'm not familiar with, but you are familiar with Busy. - You are familiar with Busy? - But I'm gonna play this record. Oh yeah, yeah, let's go then. - Hey. - Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
I think a lot if I was a r&b nigga doing a song with Leon Thomas, I don't know if I would let him do that little run that he likes to do in the features. I don't know if I would keep allowing him to get that little run off where he leaves the script. No, no, no, no, no, I'm cutting you out of there. Now you can't. You gotta let him go. No. That's when it's saying why he eaten too much. Again, that's brand new RJ the way to Leon Thomas, busy crook that record is called new to love. And busy crook didn't do too bad on the rappers. I'm not familiar with it. It's about for a minute. But he sounded pretty good. Yeah, he could rap. You got the first dupe was RJ? Yeah. Oh yeah. It sounded like Tori. No. No, he doesn't sound like Tori. It sounded like R&B Tori to me, not at all, two totally different worlds. My brother. Hey, hey, hey, no disrespect the Tori. You know, I love Tori. I'm never trying to shit on, I got a Tori music, but listen to RJ. I'm just having that song. Maybe it's some other one. It ain't that. No, no, no, no, Tori, no, no, no, listen to the boy. Yo. Ty Donaldson. I love that you putting everybody on. When you got Leon Thomas and RJ the widow on the record, go ahead and go on the booth. Go ahead and get the booth. Add a little something there. Come on, man. You tied down sign. You got the end of this record. I love that you put it on for your folk. Yeah. And I ain't saying take the busy quick record first off. Yeah. Just go in there. But you go in the booth. Sprinkle something in there. You tied Donaldson? Yeah, it's getting the booth. Sorry. Sorry. Or Remix. Remix. He's doing the exact round and he's doing a great job. Let me just stand. Go ahead. Go ahead. For real, Nick is going to get in the booth that one time. It's just that one time. We got $5 version of fucking jaded in the Serrato, but we can't get a $5 verse on his shit. Nah. Now, speaking of remixes, uh, Levin Callie remixed his own record. He put out a deluxe, uh, if you know, you know, uh, but he remixed his record, Starlet. This is featuring Destin Conrad and Ombre. This is like Blue Note, Snap your finger vibes. This record gets harder as it goes on to. I'm not going to be a fan of this. And again, this is off his LK 99 Plus Deluxe. I got to let Destin flow with his voice. Mark final next topic, boy. I just heard the same thing you heard. He's going here and that he's talking. That he seems fine, health wise, that there was a head injury. But it's not clear whether it was a fight, whether it was a fall. I tried to play all the angles. I couldn't get anything really disappointing. But I'm glad to hear he's okay. Yeah, I mean, speed recovery. Yeah, they did say he was drinking honey and sometimes other medications in the jail. Maybe he got a little too twisted. Well, I've heard so many puff jail stories. I mean, we know it's probably not that only because after we heard that, when did that? So did the jail and took his moon challenge. They took all this stuff and they pushed his release date back. They pushed it back. His release date went from, you know, it's been, it's been a moving target. But it went back to March as opposed to January. So it's going to be lost 41 days of good behavior. Yeah, yeah. 41 days is a lot. Yeah. And that's the spirit. Whatever you think of puff, I just know, you know, I'd be, I'd be pissed if somebody snitched on me and that happened. Every any time I picked your puff in jail, I picture it just as they described it. Massage tablet. Yeah, everything. Burn or run this. Some spicy rigatoni. Someone cooking for me. Yeah. Dude, massaging them. Yeah. Somebody folding his clothes up. That's how I picture his billionaire being in jail. Yeah. Yeah. Somebody else putting the coms through the toilet to get the weed delta. No, no, that we didn't come through the toilet. No, we didn't come in through the toilet. We don't get the toilet. No, he don't get the toilet weed. I got hand in hand weed. He got the real shit. Yeah. I'm not getting the toilet weed. He's the only comb. And he ain't trying that little tax don't trick with the, with the sheet. That's not how it's coming. I'm telling y'all. I don't care if y'all make a stupid face. That ain't how it's coming. Yeah. I think you're right. I could tell you how it's coming. I know. You know how that's good. Yeah. Someone's bringing this. Handing it. Yeah. Handing it too. Here you go. Listen, I watched the doc with that, that, that, that CEO girl fell in love with that, that country bumpkin redneck white dude and, and they escaped. Yeah. And then he killed her some wild shit. Well, no, they got that car accident. I think she. It was car accident. It was car accident. It was car accident. It was car accident. It was car accident. Didn't she? They painted a little differently. They painted. She should see. Ah. You should see. Cause the way the story broke was that she. Yeah. But anyway, my point is that if homeboy could get it done in jail. Puff is definitely. Puff can get it done. Do whatever the fuck he wants. Puff can get it done in jail. So do you, I think his head injury, I know you, there's one theory about the. Maybe a little too head. Yeah. The bulk low. He wake up in the middle of the night. Bomb. Yeah. I think it will. Any other theories? I wish you a theory. I got a theory. We need a reason on paper excuse to take you out over here. So whatever you need to do. I thought the same thing. That's the first thing I thought. And that's why you can't get no details. I thought the same exact thing. I thought he had to make a run. Yup. He wanted to chop cheese from a specific bodega. And they took him to get it. And brought him back. Wow. I don't think that. That's possible. I would have thought that three weeks ago. I think because he got in so much trouble the last two weeks, I think. I think trouble did he get in. And they threw him in the hole. And they pushed his date back two months. I think. Yeah. But I think that he has enough juice that. Hey, man. Y'all took my head and he and my fucking dad. Now I need to go. Now I need to go. And I don't think his hole is the same as everybody else. Hold on. He's a whole quality come with a light bulb.
- Winno for the fucker. - I bad. - Yeah, why fightin' the whole thing? - I'm not so much talkin' about puffs trouble, I'm saying that because of all the spotlight on it, the people been lookin' at the prison skeptical. Like I know a couple of the CEOs have been disciplined. I know the warden is being looked at. I'm saying, I think they-- - What's the discipline? I think they got suspended, looks from work. - Mark, sometimes I want you to, all right, put your activists hat away. - Listen to me, just hear me out. - Okay. - They got suspended. - To them, there's a nigga in there that when he get out-- - Remember this. - 'Cause unsuspend things, right? Now hear what I'm saying. - I'm saying, hey, for two weeks. - Yeah, I'm saying, I think that's tempting. I think some people would take a little spedger, a little slap on my wrist. - I'm pretty sure that if he was bringin' in, if someone was allegedly bringin' in contraband for Mr. Colmes, he was probably taken care of for whatever else. - Yo, yo, yo, yo, sell my man 20. - Okay, exactly. - Here's the classic case of us, y'all respondin' somethin', I didn't say. - Good. - I agree with everything y'all just say. Y'all talkin' to me as if I'm not. What I'm saying is, it's hot right now. So it probably wouldn't have happened two days after he got out of the hole and might have, they might let it chill out for a week or two before they take him out. - We sayin'. - That's why it hot right now. - It's hot right now. - No, it's hot right now. It's hot right now. - You gotta go over there to do the shit. - Yeah, it's hot. - The warden is in. - Yeah, no, no, no. - I don't, I'm with you, it's hot, they lookin' at the warden and everybody. So now we need a legit reason, 'cause we can't just give you the shit in here. - It's a crazy theory. - Come on, you can be possible, he just got to fight or he faked an injury. I'm not saying, I'm not naive to think that this doesn't happen in prison. It's been a lot of time in prison. I'm sayin', I just think because it's so hot right now. - No, no, no, no, no. The side, not there as the healthy speaker telling you don't do crimes. - Right, and the people you're talkin' about, the CEO and the warden are also on the other side of the bar. So I'm saying, knowing those people and knowing what they do and I know CEOs who do this, the thing you're talkin' about. I'm not disagreeing with it. I'm just saying, I know for a fact, haven't spoken to the people that everybody is being watched right now. So I'm saying, I think it's likely that they will wait a little while before they smuggle Puffy to Fat Burger. That's all I'm saying. - I think Puffy could get to Fat Burger. - I think I understand what I have to get to. - I think Puffy could get right to Fat Burger. - Hey, we're gonna stop at the store and get a little honey. - Fat cat? - That's the first of all I should talk about. - They make him listen, they make him listen, they make him, they make him, they doing shit out there that I see, but I can't say that I see it. - Like, ice uncovered the whole Carisha Uptown records thing. Nobody thought they had Carisha, they have a lot of success. - No one's like someone else. - Someone's helping out. (laughing) Some shit moving. - Yeah, like, it don't look like a different type of movement. - No, it does, it does. - I do you one better. - I do you one better, all the people that they were trying to make take this then and say was down with Puff and his organizations on their load, they just, they work for us and now. - Is that a real, is that a fact? - Yes. - Listen man. - Good people always gonna find a good job. - There you go, there you go, always laying on their feet. - That's right. - There you go. - Yeah. - Loyalty is rewarded some places. - Look down in DC. - Word. - I'm talking about cross street. I'm saying he and they're making sure that his people are - Yeah, you held it down. - That's what it looks like. I ain't spoke to him. So don't come putting me back on in the firing. - But I mean, you got to stop aside. That's what you're supposed to do. - The videographer that he is, that he was people with. He's, he's all I should think. - It ain't just the execs. Take care of my people. - Yeah. - Come on, move on. - Show us his slipping fall. - Yeah, yeah. - Speedy recovery. - Speedy from my thoughts and prayers. Another music adjacent stories, Kelly Clarkson. - Okay. - Tell us going over to Kelly. - I was about to ask y'all. - Kelly Clarkson went in a store and tried to buy something and they treated her like she was broken poor and she went to the internet. And now it's a big thing because the store replied and their reply was, "Hey, we love everybody." And with respect, we were what she was inquiring about and wasn't for sale. And then Kelly Clarkson and a bunch of fans put up the price tag that was next to the item that she was trying to purchase, which was a $15,000 ticket. So the store has been under, under some fire from the internet streets and they trying to fight through it. Even though I'm sure it's bringing a business. - Probably. - And Kelly Clarkson is. - I'll keep what I think what she's talking about. - What kind of store was it? - I'm looking up now. - I mean, it's a $15,000. - Not a jewelry, I know of his. - Oh, okay, okay. - The reason I was asking is that I saw on the news. - Kelly Clarkson walking that store looking like Kelly Bundy and they said, "It's hard to get your broken ass out of it." - That was art, okay. - Well, that's what she said. She said they looked at me. She said, "And literally I would look at as if I couldn't afford it "and was told he could find something more comparable for me." - Oh, wow. - On the headlines, 'cause I read the headline in the news, they said, "Welcome to being us." - Right, yo, we're, we're, that's all I got to say. - It's interesting how it's being reported, 'cause in the news, they just said she's having a caring moment. But they didn't say why she was upset. They said she went to the internet, but they weren't saying why. - Now, she put a hold, I'll read it, at your door. - Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store. I thought it looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn't afford it and was told he could find something more comparable for me. Wow, dude, you're an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y'all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn. If you enjoy being treated like Julio Roberts' character and a pretty woman, for sure, check it out, thumbs down. - Wow. - And the store says, "This is Art of Play." Yesterday, Kelly Clarkson visited us in Brooklyn and inquired about buying Molly a one of a kind singing and dancing bird ottoman who plays an important role in the magic shows we host here. Molly is permanently attached to the wall and isn't for sale. However, the negative experience Kelly described on Twitter would resonate with anyone who has ever felt judged in a shop. At Art of Play, whether someone comes in to make a purchase or simply look around for a while, they are equally welcome. We greet everyone who walks in the door with the invitation to pick things up and play and they do. Many stay for hours and join our puzzles, games, and toys. Imagine our surprise when our small local business was suddenly attacked by eight million people who have never visited our store. - You eat as much as you imagine Art of Play. - It's been a surreal experience to be the focus of such widespread outrage after just one mention by a celebrity. Thank you to all our friends for their support and welcome to all the curious folks who have discovered us amidst the drama. We're going to keep our heads down and hopefully - I bet you are. - We're going to clear things up with Kelly someday. As a talented, popular singer once said, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Yeah, she replied back to that and she gave the exact quote. She said, "I'm not going to be the whole thing that is pretty long." She said, "The person eyed me with a condescending tone." Yes, it's for sale, but it costs $15,000. So if you'd like me to find you something comparable for that, I can't. - Sorry. - Who do you believe her? - I believe her. - I believe her. - I believe the store. - Not a fuck-up artist. - The fuck-up artist? - Yes, I believe the store. - No, I believe her. - Fuck-up artist, I don't feel sorry for her though. - I think whoever the salesperson she talked to may not have known that this thing is not for sale truly. - At least not right now. - You don't know where's the price tag next to it. - Even though she said they had a conversation about the price. - Yo. - They date, man. They judge her about how she looked like. - They judge Kelly Clarkson, bro. - Even in Brooklyn, white people? - Yeah, I don't think so. - That's what those are because in Brooklyn, rich white people look like that. - Yes. - Everybody looks like that. - I don't. - You said a black person, I'd be like, "Yeah, okay, fine." - Oh, for sure. - Yeah, but that speaks to you and issues understanding of Brooklyn white people. I don't know that everyone that works in the stores of. - Oh, I'm not a grandma. - I'm a grandma. - I think they totally judged her and didn't know she was. She went in on some hobo shit and thought that she couldn't afford it. - I think that Kelly Clarkson, hobo shit, still looks like that shit. - Yeah, that's what they can. - Not necessarily. - And for those who go in those type of stores, they might not be price-checking. - Yeah, I want this, I'm buying this. So the fact that you asking the price and how much is it? - Did she ask the-- - They might have, I'm going for him to say, "Hey, this cost." - It's not what she said. - I want that and then they told her the price. We're just having to me and all of us before. We're just gonna have you going to store to buy something and they tell you, they almost tell you the price to back you down, right. Oh, no, that cost such and such. So that's what she just said. I said that she said, "Yo, that cost $15,000." I'll show you something that's like that. He was saying that her asking the price was a tell that she couldn't afford it. So she asked the price, she might have just said, "I want it." - I think she said, "I want it," and then they told her the price. Look, I don't know who sounded true. I'm not saying Kelly's, I'm just saying it wouldn't shock me if the store profiled it. - Profiled it? - And it wouldn't shock me if Kelly Clarkson just wasn't, it was used to getting treated in a certain way. - This store-- - I know it's not, look, 'cause I look at this. - I'm sorry, I'm sorry. - It just looks like some regular little mom and pop shit. It doesn't look like a high-end art gallery where they would judge her for wearing sweatpants. - Yeah. - This looks like a fucking mom and pop store in Brooklyn where they got a bunch of little knick-knacks, and she came in there and I'm Kelly Clarkson checking everywhere. Fuck out, I want $215,000, ain't shit. And she didn't get her way and she made a fucking stink about it. - And that's off. - And I'm not saying Kelly's.
I think sometimes miscommunications happen that way where it could be coming Wanted to be treated a certain way and we don't get that treatment you start thinking like you got treated like shit They might have been once a mom and pop to mom and pop shit like I don't like y'all's take. Yeah, cuz mom and pop stores don't Necessarily sell 15,000 all our items And when you say which makes it not be my mom and pop as in small and local I don't mean like a thrift store I just mean like mom and pop family own family own but so my aunt yes be clear my nigga everything in the stores for sale You want the roof of this bitch if you got enough money for you can have my roof, but that's the rich person attitude true So what I might have been like this ain't for sale It's possible right now right now also and these have a like artistic spaces. Yes, this is for sale eventually But right now maybe this is part of some Exhibit or something that they have here so there's a price tag, but it's not for sale right now come back to us in All I'm saying is I don't assume that because a rich person or a famous person weaponizes their fan base Intel's a good story that is true. I also don't assume that is not and I just think it's easy to believe Kelly Clarkson because of how she's telling the story But I'm not convinced and I I mean I believe it because I ain't seen this from her before Yeah, that counts too that she super cool like she wanted that constantly doing this type of shit Then all right cool. I ain't never seen her pop up like this. I agree That's that's why I think it might be a I got treated differently than I expected I don't think she's lying per se. I just think she might not her version might not be acting let me ask you But she did get treated different than she expected if she inquired about the piece with a price tag next to it That's the biggest part and they told her to suck a dick. I was about to say that, but you know what I'm saying I was about to say that when you all say She expected to be treated a certain way. Yeah, like a valued customer And if they did do that then she's right. I'm saying I don't they're saying they didn't do that But their story also changed once she dropped her response so tell me to give me more I'm saying at first they said it's not for sale And then when she put her response out About the price tag stuff they say yes, there is a price tag here and there's another way we can go about this Or there's something comparable we can show you from the same artist yada yada yada Okay, see if they got a price this is my opinion Because I didn't see the picture with the item with a price tag on it If the fucking price tag is on the item is for sale but that's fair that's simple to me If a price tag is on a specific item it ain't nailed to the wall You know what I mean like as a display, but if it's a price tag on this particular item That means somebody priced it for sale And I know famous people can be dicks so that's a believable thing Sales people can also be dicks agree agree that's true. So they're both they both carry the same kind of wait Yeah, like it's man come in me from my in my experience like in celebrities of that stature Like of Kelly Clarkson level usually know how to walk in somewhere and keep it cute Yeah, and not draw attention to themselves and do all this extra shit, but them workers They get a little crazy sometimes Johnson they do yeah, yeah, or even if they know your Kelly Clarkson, but fuck you Yeah, it's something to make you like that because you're Kelly Clarkson. I'm gonna show that. I don't give a fuck about that Right should know me not know over here. Yeah, and that's why I say it wouldn't shock me either way I just I don't believe I don't believe a story just because I hear it But I do always think it's interesting when famous people have a bad customer service experience and they go to social media That's it. We too. I don't know. I'd never like weaponizing the fan base against some fucking Unless there was something you know Airlines I disagree. I disagree. I'm with it. I think I should be like shit I'm the first one to be like and I tagged him and I was a lot of times the only way to get your flight fixed or you or whatever You know, I think customer service is a lost art today. Mm-hmm I think customer service sucks today and it sucks because there's no recourse So if you go on a spot and you're acting accordingly and somebody gives you shitty customer service And you have it in your power to be like, yo, dog don't go there That's the only consequence that these people see forgiving shitty customer service So if they gave shitty customer service and you report the customer it's like a yelp review Yeah, but it's Kelly Clarkson. That's it like I and I would be on her side if this was some racist shit or something like that cool Let's get him the fuck out of here. Oh, Oprah went for winter because they said what it's sell first huh? Oprah went for you went to the Hermes store and they wouldn't open a door for her I think that she has the right to do something and say something in that close Weaponize. Oh, they're close. Well, that's different. I think that if there was something terrible that happened She would be absolutely right to weaponize her probably tens of millions if not more fans against them Doing that for a bad customer service thing Yes, I will be that guy See I think what he was saying at all You know instead of saying Hermes I think customer service you treat everybody like they call it Clarkson Which is supposed to do because you don't know I correct what that person can go do and who that person is My fuckers go make a call. You don't know my fuckers is friends with the CEO go make a call Yo, you you know he me saying shit marker look at me like Shit, I know we don't know. No. Oh, I fuck up a lot more worse than I think you do I just fuck the biography had you in the church about the biography videography videography To me owes in videography. I don't know where it's worth. It's just one. Oh, it's one So you say video video I always say video. We don't say nothing. But yeah, but that's wrong And what he said was wrong, right? I'm saying it's wrong to not say it's wrong to not correct someone. Oh, I see I like only amongst y'all Correct someone so they know not to make that same point life is gonna get this. I thought that but I didn't say it Even if y'all said it off camera y'all should say y'all should fix it. I will tell you off camera. You didn't I didn't get a chance You had another good one that was 22 was the other good one you had a while ago. Yeah, uh, I know it was it was a good one And mark ain't correct the user fucking user. Yes, he did he corrected it in Yes, but yeah, that's what I'm saying you're dick you're dick. We all say I understand a long time ago I can't bear here. I don't like correcting people when they've mispronounced work. I think it comes off the away if I do it all right, but um The idea I never got distracted, but I'm with I'm with you. I don't I think you have to be careful when you web when you use your fan base On on businesses even if the business is wrong for example. I don't mind saying This airline is is screw me over because one people are still going to use them and two is like you say this is the only way to get To get satisfaction, right, but a small store and you got 10 million people writing in because people are crazy fans are crazy So if you if Kelly Clarkson has fans and they now that they're gonna be doxing people they go to people's houses They do wild shit that's that's way beyond what the person deserves. That's why I would just say be careful when you use more the reason to treat all your customers The way they're supposed to be purchasing You know stop you give me your spaces review my space. It's all right. Oh, I don't get it No, I'm not saying I don't understand Free would you say now I said that's more the reason she all your customers the right way you don't know who's who you don't know who knows who I agree with that You're a small mom and pop. Yeah, a small mom and pop Establishment customer services even more paramount to you than it would be for United or Delta or any other big establishment When you go to fucking Chick-fil-A they pray for you damn then when you go to Chick-fil-A Customer service is amazing. Thank you come again. God bless. Be safe like they do all of that and so people appreciate that so let me let me show them You go to North mm-hmm. They let you in for the day You go to a local soul food restaurant black hole. Mm-hmm. They the service is shitty Would you be wrong to use your platform and go or come up here and and name the restaurant sales fuck you how you got treated? It depends on how how bad the service was but Won't give me infotations for now. No, I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not the worst the service at a black restaurant in the hood the better the food is And that's a known That is a fact. So if you if you walk in there You ain't put in put in the beef room. You know, especially You're making stories Have she'll ignore you for a time. She's got to hit you with a That's where Stella tell them show me. I appreciate too many different aspects of This situation. I appreciate when the celebrities run the internet to tell us what happened to them I love hearing about things to happen to celebrities like when they're slighted because it's usually some bullshit I wonder by this $15,000 toy I also love hearing about the establishment that was totally rude to its celebrity. I do and I enjoy the fans That will ride for whatever this celebrity say Like that's a scary. That's it. That's it. That's it. That's a gift. You know, you got to see me on the highway when the sign up there and be like Stop Bluevope wagon We amberlar with the light plate. Hey, if you see you silver all are X7 one And I got to speak up actually for the customer service people and the people that are in that business because As much as we say yes, you should be the nicest greatest customer service person ever There are also mad people that be on absolute bullshit when they go into the store So restaurant or whatever So That's part of the job. How we say shit? There is actual like visible or like verbal financial physical abuse that happens in these places Customs you are entering a park studio zone I'm pretty sure they have great customer service at their restaurants. They do so. I'm not speaking to them No, we don't rush when you sign up for customer service for facing public facing job You have to deal with everything that comes with that not saying
in his right, that's the gig. That's what a professional does. You got to deal with it. - Yes and no. - You have to. - No, yes and no. - Or the job ink for you then. - That's not true. - What's the no side? - The no side is that people be on absolute bullshit coming in there, fucking harassing, being rude to fucking the wait staff, not tipping, asking for shit that they can't have, yeah. And you sometimes, if you just tell them, I'm sorry, I can't do that for you. They will go on the internet and fucking shit on you and say this is the worst place in the world. And no, you just can't buy the fucking $15,000 toy right now. Sorry. - All right, we moved it around a little bit. I'm just talking about the bad, the harassment and all of that. Certain shit comes winning. - Got parks in the school. - Come on, no, no baby, no way. - Certain shit comes winning. So that person has to be in an asshole. You got to take the good with the bad. That person that was an excellent, perfect customer. You appreciate them. - For sure. - You got to deal with the assholes. You have to, that's part of your job. - That's true. - You feel the same way about police? - You don't, right? - Tell me more. - It's a lot of civilians or a lot of people outside that are dicks, tip cops. - Yes. - It is your job to diffuse that situation and not you lose your temper. - True. - So you can't handle that. - The same thing goes to customer service associates. - It's not the same thing at all. - I disagree. It is your job. You got hired to deal with customers in a certain way. And it is your job to diffuse that situation. I'm not saying be they punching back. But if somebody starts physically assaulting you, that's a different thing. But somebody starts cursing you out. You can elect to say, yo, you're being rude. I'm gonna walk away from you and go get my manager. But it's not your job to start cursing them out back. You are on the clock getting paid. - I don't like, yeah, okay. - There is ways to diffuse it. Yes, you can get a manager. Sometimes they keep cursing out the manager though. - All right. - I'm the manager to get his cursing out. - No, but look, I don't like the comparison because police murder people sometimes and arrest people unwarranted often times. - I'm just saying that we can't say it's quite the same. - It's not. It's one degree, it's a very high, yeah, yeah. But I'm just saying, like, just say that, yo, this is my job and these people came in on bullshit. You took that job and sometimes people do come in on bullshit. It is a part of the job. - Yes, I agree that it's part of the job. And so I can tell you, from our own experience, you know, managing and working in restaurants and stuff like that, it's, I expect people to treat me poorly sometimes, right? And it's my job to treat them well even when they don't. I think my frustration though is that sometimes people act like because that's my job, nothing, there's no criticism of the customer. People act like nothing is too far. And I'm just saying that sometimes there is a too far. - I agree. - And unfortunately, there's no space for that. And those same people, the Parkinson's point will go online and tell a very different story of how the exchange went. I could bend over backwards. I mean, you know, I could, I could do it. I could make it something. We don't serve that. Okay, I'll make it for you. - I'm about to say I'm coming to your restaurant, daddy. (all laughing) - Now you call me Papa. - Who do you call me Papa? - Now I'm a big papa. - Oh shit, it happens to me. - It's the last thing now. (all laughing) - You ain't never been an over backwards. (all laughing) - Let me tell you. - Hey, y'all play with these service workers if y'all what? My TikTok feed, they puttin' a gun through the drive-through window and fuckin' it, you motherfuckin'. - Hey, I've never seen so many people murder it, Sonic's. - They fuckin' it. - Fuck out, y'all. - Snatchin' they got a car. - No, these niggas are getting fucked up. Y'all better be care, who asked me for your extra barbecue. - Again, these niggas are short tempered, not gettin' paid a lot. And like you said, customers do be on business. - I also don't think that you should be allowed to have your gun on you at the Wendy's Droughts and Wendy. - That's a fact. - Shit. - Yeah, that's a joke. - Where's Wendy's at? - She has a laughin' look. - Where the shit at, y'all? - Some states you could carry, bro. I'm just sayin', you get caught. - So y'all in a cool with the drive-through person havin' the gun on it. - I'm? - Depends, yeah. - Am I fries hot? I don't get fuckin' what that nigga got on him. - Are you cool with somebody died over there? You makin' a joke. - No, somebody died. - Some of us fries were not, some of us were not. - And somebody's never done that. - Yeah, some of y'all views on T-Done. Some of these topics. - Never seen stuff. - Yeah, bro. - Yeah, boy. (laughing) - And she won. - In the video I saw this lady, she put the gun out in the window. Shouted about me a bow, bow, bow, bow, but he just drove off. And a little commentator voice there, and the next carniple. (laughing) - Yeah. - Yo. - Oh. - Yeah, imagine you're the next one. - Yo, I'm thinking about that now. - Nah, fam. - 'Cause you can't, a lot of 'em, you can't maneuver 'em. - Nah. - Can't get out of there. - I'm just gonna want the extra sauce now. - All right, cool. - Well, speaking of being the next one in line, we do have to talk about the unfortunate rollercoaster incident. It happened over here in Georgia. - Oh yeah. - That's six flags. - Yeah, I mean. - Somebody, again, somebody lost their life. And now that person has been identified. - Okay. - Right, so I want to make sure I get his name, 'cause that's important. But you're really, really, really horrible, horrible. All right, the father of the father, his name, 42-year-old Hassan Krem. - Rest in peace. - Rest in peace. - I feel like we've seen this and both the tiger-shaped, like, both of these things have been happening a lot lately. And I don't understand the why. There's been a lot of rollercoaster mishaps. You've seen, I've seen multiple videos in the past six months of fucking ladders going up to take everybody down. - Yeah, it's stuck. - Yeah. - But this one. - This one was a little-- - Yeah. - I ain't seeing this happen. - Well, break it down. - All right. - It was a rollercoaster, a Goliath, and I don't know how-- I don't even know how it was-- - They're saying-- - They're saying that-- - The bar. - The bar came up when the rollercoaster was on the last little dive. So the gentleman became undone. His body began to hit other people that were on this rollercoaster. So some of the people there have dudes blood on them. And in the picture that the rollercoasters take when you spoke to have your hands up. - Yeah. - Yeah, you can say they have him. - Coming out to see. - Oh. - No, he's not out this-- - He's hanging over them. - People in front of him more. - Yeah, they show him hitting other customers falling on them. - That was a lot. - That was a lot. - They spoke to some people at the scene and they say he hit at least three different roles of people before he began to hit certain parts of the actual rollercoaster. And then, died. Felt it was on time with the mind. - That's right, that's right. - His story couldn't get any more tragic. Of course, he was there with his son. - Oh my god. - He was there with his son. - So sorry to hear that. - Yeah. Rest in peace. - That's a fucking nightmare for real. I don't know if I'm getting that over rollercoaster. - Yeah, I've been-- - I don't do it. - It's over now. - Yeah, I like it. - I ain't been on one in 30 years. - Last one I was on was King Decah. - That's six flags down here. - I never liked them anyway, but the safety issue is like, now it's niving out. - Yeah, hesitation. - Even though I look back, it's like, for what? - Yeah. - Is that thrill shit? - Some of the people who walk with them are just, for me, all these recurrent issues. - Yeah. - Yeah, I'm all set. - I'm a big rollercoaster guy, but as you get older. - Yeah. - The risk. - The risk reward is not worth the-- - I've been upside down before. - Safety man. - I heard that about you. - Good safety man. - King Decah with a flung your ass. - I was on it with you, dumbass. - Flung us. - I'm stupid, my stupid ass is not listening to you. You'll make sure nothing's in your pockets. Me. All right, well, my wallet here, but the bar down is cool. I got off that shit. They found my wallet in a safari. They caught like days later because I had to go to Los-- They lost my wallet. They say, "Yeah, we found it in a safari." - And lying to you, bro. - Hey. - It's my man's thing. - You don't even have a taste. - He said that shit through the gate. - He gave it back to us. - You don't even get shit back. - You don't even get shit back, you know. - And they give it back to you. - Oh, man. - You're just really unfortunate. - Yeah. - I don't even know what to say about it. - This is horrible. - And imagine being, 'cause they suspended, you know that the rollercoasters load up two cars. So when that car pulled in, screaming. - Oh, true. - Screaming. - The people in the other car just suspended. No, they stopped people. So they suspended. We can't let you get off. This whole thing is a crime scene. It's right, it shut down for the day. Why are they screaming in front of us? - Right. - And get me to fuck off of this contraction. - That's horrifying for just all parties from here. - And fam, it was people there at the park that wasn't even on the ride, like film, you know, everybody pull their phones out of shit. Just imagine anybody in that park, that's just traumatized. - Yeah, that's where I'm going. - Like, you can't have, like, our day is done. We gotta get out of here. I'm with you. - Yeah. - Let's close six flags, man. - It's time. - It might be time. - It might be time. - It's time. - It's time. - It might be? - Ain't nothing going on down here. We did it. - You hate that. - Man, ain't nothing going on down here now. And it's almost that time again, Lou. - Friday night. - Friday fest. - It's almost that time again. - Is this one again? - It's running now. - Hey, if you want to go somewhere and get sick and get germy and herpiation. - Yeah.

Yeah Lance bass bass 35 dollars a day at the height of in sinks fame. He made it for us. He had good run later Yeah, he said thank God he he was able to do something afterwards. That's crazy. What do you do afterwards? He's done TV shows he's made some of the music, but he's done a lot of media and then when once he came out You know, there was a whole other LGBTQ lane for him as well in terms of like the media speaking all that kind of you know Did it make what back with did it make what backstreet would have made basically? Yeah? Yeah, he never don't look sure. I mean I didn't fuck him I got the hard way Hey, yeah, back I was moving instinct guy Yeah, that's crazy. He make that money back as worse than the $12 million thief were talking talking to him No, they showed him because it was making a hundred they had to make hundreds of millions of dollars the dude that they did the doc About he was the one that made it all the money. Yeah, huh. Yeah, the label. Yeah, I don't know that that's worse for me Huh, what I'm a part of a superstar group and and and I'm getting 35 hours a day And I found out the label made hundred hundred hundreds of millions of millions you find out whatever the fuck you want to find out What did that contract say That's sure who cares what you found out shit, but that aside. Yeah, 15. Damn cook brother Did I have one on track that he ain't tell a joke. Yo, he didn't do shit and got 12 million don't get away with it The niggas from new additions said they got the hunter scooters. I think 5,000 or 15,000 dollars And a cordless accorded remote VCR Is what they got they first days first album and said when they went to think to do The nigga didn't even know what the fuck they was talking about like so evidently the secretaries of somebody bought the shit for them Yeah, they and it took that out the budget. What else is going on? I used to tell me about this I didn't get the whole story from you, but this hood warfare shit. Oh, man. So a video game popped up I personally believe I talked to you about this before um the the hidden hidden marketing I did I talked to parks by this before we talked about nurture a lot. Yeah, you know when you get mad and like More Apple news Oh, there's like that that secret um hidden marketing shit where it looks like hey guys What is this crazy shit and then everybody jumps on the way, but you would hate to promote it Since a video game that pops up over the weekend. It's called hood warfare too Yeah, cause the first one came out in 2023. I want to say and that was based on Detroit This is basically like a call of duty But your gang members in the hood shooting at each other trap music And I saw the internet kind of like crazy over Crazy how crazy as in you know, we got to play this game Like people are telling me yo yo, you got to play this on your stream. I'm like Yeah, this is feel right. I went and yeah, I was like that don't sound right. So I went and uh I mean I get I play GTA so I understand where you going You guys we're doing a podcast You guys were sharing the rest of the sir Anyway Ah Boys to ramen They call it pretty Ricky tan earth when you know they just try it. No, it's just try it. No look they call them niggas. Oh, hell This is not funny. Yo, oh shit yo Mentique and shit You know, okay, anyway, we're having a good war for your part I went to look Some company name I ain't gonna say the name but the name said a little weird Yes, the white man made it. The white man made it Put this out here. People go paid it five dollars. Everybody name mothers buying the game. I watched it shoot up this Steam store. It's like number two. Wow, but should be one after this glowing endorsement. I'm not endorsing again. I don't know I'm not endorsing again. I'm buying it after you can buy after what you say. I didn't say anything great about this game. I'm like heat. No I think he go for me like what did you know that? Would you like to check? No, I've had the big one. The first one was in Detroit. What's this one in Chicago? Yeah, now you didn't buy that. No way you bought that you took a stand. It wasn't a stand, bro, that ain't my I forgot this thing is saying shit. I know. I know. No, you took a stand. No, you know, you play Call of Duty. Yeah And you play Grand Theft Auto. Mm-hmm. Why is this one feel so much it's it's the Like again, I was there's people over recording themselves playing this game. So I'm looking at clips and shit Um The kill streak when you get like a UAV in Call of Duty with lights up the enemies. That's called a snitch. Okay, um, you yeah Put that nigga on the shirt. That's what the character will put you I put you on the shirt That's what the character says that he kills somebody under when you play. I don't play this one. Oh, I thought it was called a duty I'm sorry. No, no, this is the the the hood warfare game. I'm just using lingo that Clearly a white person is like in the game to try to make it sound like this I mean like video games are made I get your point. A man get your point. Yeah. Um, I think I think I think If you look at the success of Grand Theft Auto, mm-hmm You would try to make a copycat edition of that and so in doing that you're gonna go get Consultants or people to come in and let's but you can get those you can look I'm telling you can look at this they didn't get them consultants They just went and got a bunch of stereo types and threw them in the game. That's not consultants That makes sense, but you go look at again Grand Theft Auto, I think it's all nasty That's why I think it's honest. Yeah, it sounds nice. That's why I don't like I get your point Even GTA I think is nasty theoretically like yes I remember when I heard that you how you used to power up used to go buy a prostitute or something to get your energy back Back in old that's how's like real life we have all Hey No, I'd be weak to the motherfucker. No, yeah, yeah, yeah, bugger unless you gonna pay on the game. Please continue You pay in phone minutes, right My thing is this like the game itself her warfare is gross I get the point and it plays on racial stereotypes and reinforces The worst things we know about Chicago and Detroit and really about black people and about poor black people in urban neighborhood I get all of that. I'm against all of that. I just think we should keep going with that criticism and say in addition to that I actually think in a country that has this much gun violence Having shooting games period having games where people walk through pretending to kill people and Do it in unnecessarily violent fashion and urban setting in urban settings as part of the problem too and
and I think in a country that has a war machine and a military industrial complex, pretending to be soldiers and romanticizing soldiers killing each other is also a problem. So I'm just saying, I get how this is a step more. - Yeah, that just seems so far for me. For me, the shit y'all do is way too far for me. - Got it. - I understand that. - Yeah, I get it. I see the similarities. I see it. I saw this shit, no, it's like, are you serious? People tell me, you'll get it. Play it on the street. You will never catch me playing this game. Just to update you guys, that article play store on the Kelly Clarkson topic. - Yeah, hold up to the same old day and I got it. - They changed the price, they changed the price of the things you was burned by. - And more importantly, - Publatory has obtained the footage. - Shut the fuck up. Are you serious? (laughing) - No, no, shut up on the public. - No way, they changed the price to 15 million. (laughing) - Are you serious? - You fucking live. - I promise you. - Oh, so you can hit him. - I can't wait to see what Pablo got to say, man. - No. - That's what we're gonna find. - Pablo, you heard about the wrong shit in New York. - Right. - Go cross that bridge. - Go back and cross the Brooklyn Bridge. - What are you doing? - His hand Pablo is ass. - I'm cool. - Defending Kelly Clarkson. - We don't know this. - We don't know. - Yeah, he just, he just, he just, he just, don't join the list. - I feel like we get to this. - Just want to buy his truth. - If anybody's gonna get to the truth, Pablo did all that shit and the raptors handing Kauai, but you're a care package. (laughing) - He'll find them, he'll get you. - He'll find them $75, this is some shit. - $20 in the bag of skittles. - You take care of that? - That's fucked up. - See? - What? - Anyway. Are you gonna look and see what Pablo's doing? - Oh, it's not, I'll get tonight. - Oh! - I want you to watch the movie, we don't want you to interview. - Oh, I just watch the announcement. - Oh. - Shout out to Pablo for that. - Yeah, man. Let's get to the bottom of the shit. - Get to the bottom. - Important shit. What were we talking about? - I don't know, I think we don't even. Hood Warfare. - No, I'm trying to show it. - Oh, Hood Warfare. - Yeah, we don't. - Oh, yeah, Hood Warfare. - That's it, instant cop. - No. - I'm joking. - I don't know nothing about it. - My son came to me yesterday. Dad, can I play the PlayStation? Sure. (laughing) - You have to figure out how to turn this off. - Fuck off. - I don't know, go ask naive amount of turn that you don't. And then that reminded me that when I bought all the kids of PlayStation, I bought me a PlayStation. It's the same thing. - Ask me where it is. - I don't know. - No, I know where it is. - It's still in the box. - It's in the box. - It's in the box. In the closet, by the candles and the future's in. - I couldn't get mine going. - Yo, bro, I bought it. I had a four. That's how old my shit is. I had a four. I bought it from Costco. I ain't open that shit and never. - I bought the five. - Oh, I played my five. I played my five. - I used to have you by the five. And I got it out the box, like maybe like a month. I bought it when I first started working here. I got it out the box. And I can't get it to work. - Why are you calling me? - Then I thought about it. I was like, "I ain't going to play with it." - On a online gaming now. - Can I play my DVDs and it's still? - Yeah. - What did they change of that? - You can. - See? - Oh, you can. - That might be worth it. - If you have the disc version. - Yo, oh my God, freeze. I meant to talk to you about this. Did you see Apple dropped the home view? - The home view? - I did. I was asking Parks if he was going to get one. - I'm not getting the whole view. - I might get the cameras, we'll see. - What's the whole view? - This is my favorite part right here. I knew somebody was going to say, and I'm glad it was you. - What's the home view? Hey, freeze. Tell them what it is. - Home view is basically they take on Alexa. - Well, it's got the A17 chip in it. - It's a speaker with a screen on it. - So now they, hey, it's another screen. (laughing) - It's a, it's a, it's indeed another screen. - Well, yes, it is another screen. It's their version. - Apple, hey, I gotta be good. Hey, Apple. (laughing) Hey, if there's one thing they have figured out, since Steve Jobs passed, put a screen on some shit. It is how to sell you a screen. - A screen. And I told you, Niggas, when that duo shit came out and they said, look, more screens. I said, yeah, but I have an iPad. You know, this is the big Apple watch. No, if you take the Apple watch thing and make it a little bigger and with a kickstand, that's what this is. But don't take my word for it. The greatest part about this is the commercial, which I saved. So you guys can hear how they're selling this thing. Boy, it's great. - I just wanna say before you play that. - If you are a person that has an Apple ecosystem, like I said, you're looking into the locks and all those type of things. Like, I got a thermostat that's controlled by this shit. My curtains are controlled by my lights. If you have a smart home, if you're in a smart home automation, this makes it, right, it's a screen you put in the kitchen or a central room and it controls everything. - Yo, what ICE is saying is dope shit if you have a family that you live with. If you don't and you're a bachelor, nigga go to bed, bed, and be on and get some regular drape. Don't go in there acting like fucking Michael Knight. Don't take something to your crib. Tell 'em, shave down, play music. - You bugging, bugging. - When the niggas had the touchscreen remote, the big shit and you brought some over, they like that shit was impressing my fucker. - And it broke the next week. - And what, that's, you talking to quality of product? - I'm just talking about what. - I'm only speaking to the devices. - Anybody here ever have the clapper? - No. - Couple of niggas had the clapper. - You had the clapper? - It's you had the clapper. - You crazy as a man. - I had the clapper. - But not the clapper. - 'Cause you fuck (beep) - I was your work. - But she didn't have it when I had it. - You fucker. - You had it, you had it when you got a little dirty. - You're wrong. - I had that bitch. - Hey, bring that down, man. - Hey, you wifeed her. - No, I didn't. - You just believe anything they tell you. - Yo, how many years you dealt with? - Oh my God. - How many years did you deal with her? - Start it, start it. - Shut up. - Shut up. - I'm the gaze. - Yo, I think I like five, six years. - That's what Niggas always wanted to say when she wanted to fuck you more. You wifeed her. No, she was just at the crib. Niggas, she's getting fucked. That didn't wife anybody. No, listen to what they tell you. - You took her to your crib. - I'm in games. (laughing) - I'm in games. - I'm in games. - Oh, listen, I got this commercial for you right here. - I see you in the name, why? - It's crazy. - No, hold up, hold up. - We getting this commercial right now. - I see you. - I got it right here, hold up. Check it out. (upbeat music) Introducing the home to you. - I need a bathroom. There's one downstairs. - Five. - This is a white family. - He's touching this. - You promised French toast, bro. - I'm not here. - I'm not here. - Bro. - I almost says remain, Vincent. - Fine. - Hey, Siri, find the French toast recipe that mom sent. - I found it. (laughing) - Bye. You only got a lap. Keep it going. - Come on. - Keep it going. - I'll watch this. - Keep it going. - Okay, let's keep it going. - Rose, but you didn't know that French has an actually French. You know, right? Then why is it called French? Junior's son living in Europe. - Hold, please. Siri, it's French toast, French. (laughing) I told you it's a ver- - They could do the same shit with Alexa. - Yo, dog, yo. I'm telling you something. - Who's gonna tell Apple to knock it to fuck off with this shit? - See, I don't care about this little hub thing but I do like having fucking automation. Automation, shouldn't fit. I'm with them on that. - But this one, huh? - This one, right? - What's the price tag going? - $2.99. - I think it starts at $3 on it. - I mean, any bad. - That's the only one. It's the desk stand version and there's a wall mount version. We just mount on a wall. - That could look fly. - No, that could look fly. If I didn't have 90 other things that could communicate with Siri. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - This is re-rock. - It is re-rock. 'Cause like theoretically, I think that you're following in your TV, especially could do all the same shit. - And all the shit, I feel like I can control everything now. - Okay. - Okay, yeah. - Some people just want a one device and again it's, like in that commercial. - Everybody in the family recognized by the face, everybody had their own settings. Some people don't want to have to use and go grab an iPad or go grab a remote or go grab this. You just walk by the shit, touch it, it goes. White families in the morning got time to add Siri, who made French toast wasn't the French people. Give me the best French toast recipe. They add Siri, a bunch of shit. White families in the morning isn't a duffel bag. I never, not one morning in my life didn't look like this. The most I do is I ask the weather. - They should do it with a black family. - He should have brought his little tamper to be broke in the first four seconds. - All eyes out the house. - Will a Z-Pack cure this. - What are these bumps? - Right. - Oh my God, the home, the home view. Get this thing. - It's stealing, bro. - Oh my Lord. - Everybody going by, I'm gonna take a lot for me not to buy that if I'm running the store. - Let me, let me ask you, what is it, Alexa 2.0? - It's like Alexa but it's Apple's version. - It's Apple's version. - So Siri, just on a TV. - It's more a theory. - How's a theory? - How's a theory? - 'Cause one existed previously. That's not theory. If they have their own ecosystem, well all of their devices that communicate together and you wanna make a hub for that, that's what you do. - Gotcha. - I'm gonna get you. - It's like her warfare. - It's not. I'm stealing. - That's all I'm gonna do. The biggest guy, Grant Devin audio. - Yeah, they got Grant Devin audio. I'm an auto, I'm gonna go over here.
take hood warfare. Same shit. Rob that nigga for his Bentley. Get a gold chain. Sell some scag. So all the same shit. What's cool, right? You'll go ahead, man. Get yourself a new screen, man. Oh, my God. Have a blast with it. Anybody here have a chance to see, uh, check out animals. Bin Affleck's new movie on Netflix. I did. I did. I watched. I missed this. Bin Affleck and Carrie Washington. Not sure that I, let's just review goes well. Not sure that I am right to it. But we shall see. You don't have to run to this. You don't have to run. I thought about this movie earlier when we was talking about the zoo situation. And you said, um, um, I just stay right here. I'm running to the bathroom. I thought this what happens in the fucking movie? Like, we just talking, we just boiling it. Or what we doing. You can spoil it. Yeah, as far as movies, terrible. Um, I thought it was okay. I wanted to. I want to hear frees. Oh, no, it's bad. He was bad. It's like good. The movie, um, he's a politician, spend all his money on a campaign. His kid goes trick or treating with, I don't always slow down. Okay. He's a politician who spent all his money on the campaign, unbeknownst his wife. And he needs the Latin vote. That's important. Oh, yes, he doesn't need the Latin vote. And he is been affluent. He's been affluent. And wife is caring. Okay. He cannot win. He has to get the Latin vote. The Latin vote. That's he's running for. Was it mayor? Okay. Okay. Yeah. Mayor. Um, kid goes trick kid is going trick or treating with, what is she the nanny with housekeeper? Where are the LLA? Okay. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So kid is going trick or treat ice skipping over some of the fun. Well, go ahead then. You know, I like you telling it, but well, you're jumping in it. The nanny's Latin. Well, I said enough trouble today. I did not say it. Y'all all thought it. Thank you. Carry on. So that means. The nanny's kid is Latin. Mm hmm. Not the nanny's kid. The nanny's boyfriend's kid. The nanny boyfriend. The nanny's boyfriend. The nanny's boyfriend is the garbage description. And the kid is Latin. And he's racist. No. No, it's important. It's moving. Yeah. And it's an afflex kid is not right. But an afflex kid is. So not having a kid. Oh, no, he is not having a kid. The kids go up to the carnival wearing masks. They were the same costume. That's important. They were the same costume and go up to the bathroom and the handler lost me right there. The mom. I'm going to hold you. The mom lose the kids. So she, they let the nanny take their son and her son. They mix up the kids. The old classic mix up. Come on. You know it. What's in that though? You watching this part. You watching the kid. He wants to go in the haunted house. Your kid don't want to go. So you say, all right. Go ahead. We're going to stand right here. Let him go in the haunted house. Now your kid want to go and play a little game or something. And you go chase off after your kid while he's in the haunted house. Then Ben Affleck gets a call. This is the worst deal of your life. We got your son. But then it's not your kid. Well, they don't know that at the time. But visible difference from when he thought it was his kid. And when he learned it was a little ad game. They tell him you need, we need $7 million by tonight. Okay. He don't have to spend all his money. Right. But it's but it's his chief of staff or whatever his man's say, oh, I know somebody who worked in this type of situations. They can get you the money tonight. The fixer. The fixer. I know a fixer. They could bring you $7 million cash tonight. You want to have to pay them back that plus 1.2. 8 and a half coming back. Okay. Oh, wait. I want to jump in. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Walk out. Kerry Washington. The same as Kerry Washington do in any film you've ever seen her in. That crush is cheating. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She's cheating. She has a black work husband. Yeah. So when the fixer comes and they trying to figure out who could have kidnapped these kids. The fixer says, listen, I need to. If there's any secrets, now's the time to put everything on the table. We need to know who might want to do something like this to you. Everybody. No holds bar. No secrets. Stupid as Ben Affleck. What do he do? Come clean with all his secrets. Yo, in 89, I fucked this chick. Doggy style. But I never spoke to again. You know that other chick that I called me, but I didn't even do that. Yeah, she. But I said, he come and clean. Yo, I had to force them in college. That he just he's he's he's he's spilling it. Get the care, get the care watch. What do you do, Joe? Hold it down. Hold it down. 90s. Not, not, not say a fucking word. Trifling horror. Oh, yeah. We know how to money. This is a good bad movie. It wasn't good. It's a good. It's very predicting this is with the movie. This was the shit got great for me. So now he on the phone with the kidnapper. Yeah, hang up in the door. Walk. She his kid. He walked home. What do you say, could you say, Corey? Whoa. Oh, they give him a hug. So that was kidnap a car back. Fuck you. Hey, yo, fuck you. But then it's, yo, we got your kid. No, you don't. Then he realized, oh, it's they kid. So I asked now, let me stop right there. He made money. Go mode along, too. He told me all of them in the house. Send them out back to fix the gate. It's night time. He took that nigga to go get the tools. Yeah. I got a hole in my face. Yo, I got a hole back in the fence. Go fix the fence for me. Big dog right now. I pay you for a hundred. This movie is great. Wow. What do you know? What did I answer my question, though? You thought your kid was going the seven mil cone. You got the cash or they got the money. They got the money. And now your kid walks in the door. Do I still owe the 1.5? Yes. Yes. That was part of the. Yeah. Just her delivering the money. You got to pay and she made that perfectly. She made it very clear room for misunderstanding. I don't care what goes forward. You have to pay me back eight point eight point two. This gets kind of a kid because the kid is of Latin American descent. And he needs that vote. Yes. Well, I mean, that's the predictor. Why it's so predictable? Because at the end, he's going to get the land rolled and he's the mayor and I won't spoil the end. The end of the movie. I know. Well, y'all ain't there's no question. Yes, we did. Take that mask off. I keep. Thank you. Thank you. And for the surprise, Mr. Robb, Mr. Kidnapper. Yeah. Uh, mine here. Ben Affleck. I understand he did the deal with Netflix. So he's got this whole AI company thing going on and near our parts of the movie where that is painfully obvious. Okay. Like the graphically or the writing or both the writing. I mean, not the writing on graphically. Oh, okay. I'm writing. It's low quality Ben. Yes, low quality Ben. It's take a chance and carry. It's not. It's not going girl. Yeah. It's not. We are far cry from. He didn't make gone girl. He was just in gone. Still. I think he actually did have something to do with gone girl. Fincher directed it, didn't he? It was Fincher. Yeah. That's a. I could be off. Having a very good director is a very big difference because even if it's some bullshit, they're good. No, this movie was bad. This movie was bad. It wasn't good. It was. This was bad movie. Well, I would say I'll watch it, but I don't think you're fine. You're fine. Trust me. You're fine. I think I'll pass. You're fine if you miss this one. Or maybe that's like a. I'm not really paying attention kind of movie. You know, you that's how I watch it. That's how I watched it the first time you watch this movie twice because I wasn't paying attention. I said, all right. Maybe I missed something. Let me go back and now pay attention and watch. Oh, beautiful. You watch it twice. Oh, he got horny about it. Now that's cucking. I'm going to watch this. All right. You sure. You sure. You sure. It's good bad. It's a good bad movie. I like a good bad movie. Also below on Netflix is not the worst. So many living in series six bad six episode order, but it's only half it's only bad at the last two episodes of iceberg and some animals. I mean, some. I saw this. It's some shit where something's going on in the in the water and they don't know what's going on and they relocate all the town of people and all right, spoiler and at the end, there's the rich white people that need the gold or whatever's running through the town, but the creature she's watching is not bad. It should sound like the village. It's really it's good. It's good. But when you get to the end and kind of learn more about the creature guy and
The creature got a good memory, it's cool, which some of these things. - It's like (laughs) - It's all explosions, it's not a lot of them. - It's good, no. I'm telling you it's good. - I'll consider it. We're kind of low on show, so. Although this is something that I have watched everything, there's nothing left to be seen in my mind. - I'm gonna do it in this. - War is great. - Is it? - War is really good on HBO. - There's a new Apple show that's a thriller that I'm gonna watch. - 12, 12, 12? - Maybe. - Is that it? - I haven't started yet. - You took the high school, nigga. - Oh, oh. (laughs) - I got 12 on speed now. - Oh shit. - Who is that a shock to interview? - Play with me. - You two else. - You two else. - You two else, what else, what else, what else? What else has happened out there? - We went through Puff. - Mark, did you tell us about Soldier Boy? - Oh, Soldier Boy released a couple days ago. - Huh? - An image. - Soldier Boy, like, the rapper? - The rapper. - Okay, tell us. - Like, a soldier boy. - Oh, I could do it from the boys. - Got you. - I didn't write that. - Oh, okay. - Well, go ahead. - But Soldier Boy posted on a social media image of himself, a flag, the United States of America. And it said Soldier Boy, 2028. And he's released a little bit of information on it. You know, he's been really into the AI conversation. He was the first rapper to really talk about AI in that way in the critique. And he's running for president, according to some reports. And normally I wouldn't pay attention to that, 'cause rappers say a lot of things. But I'm here and he really might run. And I don't care if Soldier Boy runs for president. He's not gonna win, right? But there's a lot of celebrities right now who are talking about mountain political campaigns. And there are a lot of people out there who are trying to draft celebrities to do political campaigns. People are literally trying to get the rock to run for president right now. 'Cause they think he can legitimately win. It used to be real Smith before, you know. - So sluggy. - Yeah, and that freestyle. It's like, now-- - Like a slap. - He's actually, exactly, you know. And so now it's the rock. And I'm saying that this celebrity culture, this idea of we're gonna save our world, we're gonna govern by who's the most famous, who got the most followers. You think that we think it's like Soldier Boy running for president. And again, I don't care about Soldier Boy, but I wanna, I wanna send a message out there to people watching. Stop looking for celebrities to save you. Stop looking for celebrities to govern us. Look for qualified people who actually have answers to our problems. Just 'cause you like somebody's music, don't mean you agree with their politics. And just 'cause you agree with their politics, don't mean they good politics. We should be getting educated. We should be organized. We should do anything other than this. Otherwise, you gonna keep ending up with people like Soldier Boy running for president. That's all. - They don't take this serious no way. Well, not they. But there's a lot of voters, even previous elections. They write in Harambe. - Well, I typically agree with you. - Mom, Tommy was a rapper. - That's fair. That's fair. - So, that's fair. - What do you say to that? - I stand down. Soldier Boy 28. They mean I'm done, yeah, it's too late. For what? Last couple of weeks. I don't know about that another time, I don't know. - Okay, okay. - But just, yes. Is she any thoughts? - No. (laughing) - I've a bum out of that. - Cool dog. Shit, there's a joke. - I guess that's what I'm frustrated by. And right now, there's like a lot of ill shit happening in the world. I mean, Ilhan Omar yesterday. - That was crazy. - Had her house raided. Federal authorities raided her house. From Homeland, the HSI, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security. There's no reason to think she's done any crimes. There's no evidence that she's done any crimes, but she's an enemy of Trump. And they've had their sights on her since day one, because she's been criticizing her. And now they're saying she's part of a criminal investigation. And we're at a moment where people are getting locked up for their politics. They're getting railroaded. And we're not doing shit about it. And I feel like there's a lot of distractions out here. I just don't want more political distractions when we're really in the crosshairs or something really important. What do you think people should do? Like, for the person out there watching, I said, damn, that's fucked up, but I don't know what I can do. 'Cause you said we're not doing anything about it. - Yeah. - What advice would you give them? Like, what would you say to that person? - The first thing we could do is just talk about it. I mean, if anybody is paying attention to what people think and paying attention to the TV's and the temperature of the room is down the trunk. He wants to be popular and like more than anything else. So when you hear a loud outcry from the people that this is happening, that's step one. We need to talk about it. We need to put attention to it. We need to put a spotlight on it. Because there should be people on the right side, Republican side, who don't like this. If you believe in free speech, if you believe in your right to say whatever you want about how fucked up it is, which is what a lot of them think, then you don't want the big government in any state, all the words they use. You don't want them walking up in your crib, locking you up for it. So everybody should be outraged by this. We should be going to our elected officials, demanding answers. We should be going to our members of Congress demanding answers. We should be demanding that people like the Congressional Black Caucus who don't do shit, that they stand up and actually say and do something. See, the problem is, like you said, they should believe free speech. They ain't inviting you no more to the panel. They ain't inviting me, man. Yo, they should be free speech for all. That's not the philosophy. Right. It's, oh, we could do it. Y'all can't, right. So they down with this shit. And that's what we should be. That's what we got to get outraged are people who don't have that perspective. Because first is the person you don't care about that much. And then it becomes us. Yup, you know what I mean? And they're trying to play on these these-- That's how it's played out to history. You start with society's trash. Exactly. Because now everybody's like, all right, cool. You're doing us a favor. Exactly. And you work your way over and you work your way up. And who's the easiest person? You pick on the black person. You pick on the immigrant. You pick on the Muslim. You pick on-- I mean, she's all those boxes, right. And so it's easy to dismiss her. And when they say, oh, we're-- they start these rumors that she married her brother. And she's stuck into the country by marrying her brother. It plays into every evil nasty thing we think about-- Somali people, about African people, about Muslims, about what. And so it becomes easy for people to believe a totally made up story. And then the witcher-- He didn't think about it as a person day. Exactly. So we got to do something about it, man. So anyway, that's my rant for the day. But it's just, you know-- It's cool. Yeah. I'm with you. Before we leave, did you all see that-- did you all see the young lady cast a reality star? That was her murder, by her friend. I heard about it. I don't know-- I'm not familiar with who she is, but I did hear about it. I'm not all the way familiar with who she is either. I know that she's from baddies and whatever all the reality shows did. I'm not into-- but she was fighting. She was fighting a girl, a video went around. I'm not suggesting that people look for that video. They did pretty well with taking it down as fast as could. But she was fighting a girl. A friend got out to kind of help pull the gun out and tried to shoot the girl that she was fighting. And shot her? And shot her in the head. That's crazy. So I want to say, Reston, peace-- And demon. Yes, Reston, peace. Oh, my God. Yeah. And this is without me talking about the bodyguard murder that I meant to talk about last week where Bodyguard was killed by a woman at a club. Really? Yes. Yes, that was a baddies event. Yeah, baddies event. Details were sketchy. But Zeus replied-- oh, yeah, I think that's when they were Zeus replied-- Yeah, Zeus. But yeah, young lady shot and killed Bodyguard named Bear. So Reston, peace. Reston, peace. Yeah, Reston, peace. Reston, peace. Shh. It's heavy. Didn't you-- wasn't there celebrity, Reston, peace, you had? Well, why junior? RJ Mitha, or Mith, 34 years old. Well, why junior from Breaking Bad? Special needs, obviously. So not the greatest timing with our jokes in the first hour, but Reston, peace. Self-transitioned, according to some reports. I don't know if that's entirely true. Reston, peace. Reston, peace. Party full. Yeah. It's always nice to be four years old. Yeah, it's-- yeah, Reston, peace, man. That's bad. This is just a moment dedicated to my mother, my grandmother, my father, my father.
