Episode 957 | "Not Your Average Joe"

This episode of the Joe Budden Podcast features the hosts, including Joe Broadway, Mona, and others, engaging in casual, unfiltered banter on a range of topics. After a mock disclaimer, they joke about health and aging, with Parks as a recurring punchline for white fragility. Joe is teased for not promoting his Forbes or New York Times features, leading to a discussion about privacy versus self-promotion in the public eye. The main event is a detailed recap of a Verzuz battle between Donnell Jones and Joe, where Joe dominates; Donnell is criticized for forgetting lyrics, poor vocal condition, and an unfortunate outfit, while Joe's polished performance and surprise 50 Cent appearance are celebrated. The conversation then shifts to celebrity diva behavior, using Usher's door-holding and wardrobe changes as examples, with the hosts debating what's acceptable for stars. A lighter segment on one host's single sock leads to comedy and a PrizePicks advertisement. Music reviews include high praise for Ransom's album for its lyrical and production growth, positive notes on Cleo Sol's new work, and a mixed reaction to Lucky Daye and Leon Thomas's track "Fly You Out," sparking a debate on whether they should collaborate further. The episode closes with playful movie talk, maintaining the podcast's signature humorous and opinionated style.

(laughs) It's on, it's working, that's what the problem is right now. - Yo, and Don Nell Sentless was fired. Let me tell you, that way I wanna be album, you got a hard time. - Yeah. - Anybody got a hard time with that album. - Yes. - You do. It's almost like for me, it's tough when you pull a nigger off the couch or out of the Uber and just give a mic. Give me. - It's not what this is. - No, it's not. - It's tough when you take a nigger out of that, y'all. - You're telling us to be nice, let's be more, you do an opposite. - You take a nigger straight from door to the sh*t. - Yo. - I can't put him on the f*ck. - You put the address here? (laughs) - Stop it, stop it. - I'm joking. - Yo, who am I? - Yo, I'm just joking today. I got too much respect for Don Nell Jones. However, it would have been nice if he knew his songs. - He did know them. - No, he did not know his songs. He was learning the words to his songs in real time. Nigger, I know the words. I've probably heard this album more than him. I'm not singing the words. He's telling me, no, no, no, no, Nigger. We supposed to be singing it together. What was up? - Have you seen clips before this verses? - Yes. - They were clips going around. - No, I ain't seen no clippin' no damn Don Nell Jones. - It was clips going around. - And I think people weren't-- - I ain't on threads. - It wasn't on threads, it was everywhere. - If he's seen it, my boy was on threads, boy. - Please say something else, I read your threads. I seen your threads. - You were threads? - You were doing damage. - You were threads. - My boy, my boy, old play on that thread. - You were on threads. - It's not just me. - Miss the bitches on threads. - What you saying? - It's not a fucking word, it was so sweet. - Shit about the championship. - You're on threads. - It's over. - You're on threads. (laughing) - Shit, I lost it. - Who showed you how I did that? - Oh, yeah. - How'd you figure that out? - I don't know. Magic. - You, I'm starting to believe that you be on Internet. - I know my boy gone crazy. I caught him on the bitch happy birthday to a three-year-old, he don't tell me I was something. Yeah, and I was doing niggas. - I'm sure he was happy. - I know. - You don't know this guy, dude. - I'm talking, I'm lying. - I'm lying. - I'm lying. - I don't care. Anyway, back to Donnell Jones. I don't think he knew the words to his song. - He did. - But he came out looking smooth. - Right. - All white man. - And physically, he still looks good. - He looks like, yes. - He looked like his ubers four doors. - Oh my god. - Stop saying that. - He looked like his uber black. - Black. - Black. - It's fucked up. - So he looked good coming out in the old white. - He did. - Then Joe come out in the red. - He was in the '70s bag. - Also with that, Joe been on the road. That to me mean that band been on the road. - Yeah. - That band sound like they've been on the road, like tech nine. - Donnell's band sound good. - I don't know what they was listening to. - That band. - Donnell Jones. - Donnell Jones. - He has been on a road shut up. He has been on a road. He has done some shows. He's not just a nigga. - Yeah. - His voice is shot. - Oh, he's tired. - No, not even so much tired. Like, I think there's a difference between Joe who has preserved his voice. He hasn't done a lot of damage to it. - Donnell Jones. - Donnell Jones. - Donnell Jones. - He has been on the road shut up. He has been on the road. - Yeah. - His voice is shot. - Oh, he's tired. - He has done a lot of damage to it. - And Donnell's, are you any? - And I think maybe I don't know if it's. - Donnell been performing in like Johnny Rockets. - No, he hasn't. - Don't. - What? - The city hineries. - Stop. - Yeah, exactly. - That's one of the more. - Exactly. - Donnell Jones. He has a great catalog, great songwriter. I don't think anybody would consider him one of the premier vocalists. So when you put him in front of a premier vocalist like Joe. - Slopside. - It's Slopside, yeah. It's never going. It's never going to hit the same. I don't give a fuck how many. It's the same thing with the Mario and Amarion shit. Everybody walking into that door. Amarion was going to be able to song after song Mario out of it. And they forgot that. That nigga can get on stage and sing whatever. - And he has songs. - And he got songs. - Yeah, yeah. - And then Niggas forgot. Joe got hits. - Yeah. - Every song he played was not a B-side. - I think that's the thing. - Every song he played was a hit. - Yeah, he didn't play no B-sides now. - He got to the Mariah, Keith Sweat, Miko. I mean, the battle was done at that point. I'm just serenading my girl in a bit at that point. - Yeah. - And I don't mind it. Go ahead and get you up 20 to one or whatever the score was. - Yeah. I'm not saying that Donnell's band didn't sound good. - Okay. - I'm saying that. - I didn't. - They were trying to help him. They were trying to help him. - Oh, no, no. By the time. - You mean the drama industry was just. - That's what I'm saying. - Yeah. - The drummer doing that and he went off. - Yeah. - Was like, oh, they don't really sound to me like this. Chemistry there. It's like, okay, it sounds to him to kill because at that point, he's like, I'm getting my shit up. I ain't just going to be part of this fucking chemistry. - You put vinegar or anything. They're just going to explode. Like, yo, don't. That shit. It didn't matter. The nigga could have had any band in the world up there, bro. He sounded. Like, I'm not no disrespect because that. That's a top seven album in R&B history. But. - It's a top album. - It's a very good album. It's a top album. It's a very good album. It's better than very good. In my opinion. - Well, it's seven. But it's top. - Dog. He just sounded bad. - So then I'm waiting for his backup singers to bail them out, but then they put a close up on her. So I got to really look at them in the eyes. And I was like, all right. That's my name, y'all got it. - I ain't going to lie. You get a moment like that as a background singer. - About you should be. - And they give you a solo. A record like us. - You were supposed to go crazy. - Yeah. - No, no, slow down. - He was supposed to go crazy. - Slow down, slow down. - Slow down for a second. I mean, and every round, this battle just got bad. But I do not think it's cause of song selection from Donnell. - Oh, no. - He was up there. - No. - He was up there. - No. - He had some great record joints. - Yeah. - Anybody else up there or somebody that can't sing? Like, he can't sing now. And we just doing this up here. It would have been bad for him. - Yeah, for sure. - But it was bad. Donnell came out, yo, man. I'm gonna let my man sing this shit right now. - Not a good usher just to do it. - Cause usher is on tour. Oh fuck. Oh fuck, nigga. They pan to the backup singer. And I was waiting for a different usher. To come usher him out of the vicinity. Cause then they kept the camera on him. And I'm like, yo, dude. Where are the usher? - I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm just, I'm going to fight. I'm going to fight. Like, I'm going to fight. - I go ahead. - So then they pan back to Donnell. And I guess when you can't sing, now we got time to just really examine everything. Let me tell you something. Did this nigga have a girdle on? - What? - They did panning and it looked like he had something. - And now I can't root for you. Cause you fucking up one of my favorite albums with this waist trainer that you got on up there. That's why he couldn't sing. - Oh, that's what I was saying. - They put a putter on it. - They got that fire. He wears fire more than you. Oh shit. Look at that. But yeah, so who knows? Maybe that played a part and why his vocals was like that. But I couldn't, I was distracted from that. - Y'all wear a sheet wear. Y'all wear girdles and shit. - You see my body? - I thought you was slim. I don't know why you got your, you can't wear your period outfit on with the big sweat fans in the big shirt. - It's been a tough week, but don't, don't sleep. - Yeah, sure. I got a stuff in the bag and show you the waist. We're like, they're up. - Do y'all wear a sheet wear? She asked y'all? - No. - She asked me. - I said no. - I said no. - No. - I still wear my nigger bra. - Tank top. - Okay. - You do that sheet wear. - I was like, whoa. What the fuck is that? - That's it. - Okay. Nigger bra. - We probably need something. We probably all getting them all fucking the 48 year old pecs. - Yeah. - Boops. - Boobies. - Boobies. - When they get sad. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - I'm down. You down. Nigger, they sad. - No, sure. - They sad. And you like it, so he's super sad. - Yo, back to down now. So then, off the waist trainer, the nigger kept showing, I hate that belt. Yo. Yo. Listen. I don't care, yo. I hate that fucking belt. And he must have thought that the belt was lit. Because they kept showing the belt. That looked like a belt from like the spy league. What the little kid spies with it got cameras and shit. That looked like the belt from like the league of extraordinary gentlemen. - Why? - It looked like he was to all the details. - Did you see that belt? - That's all the details. - That belt was a mess. And we're in the little pack on the side as well. - Yo. - No, that belt. The pack on the side. The headphone pack. - Yo, you got to put that on back. - Yo, I didn't like beeper, yo. Yo, I didn't like that niggers. Cuff links. - Oh my god. - Oh my god. - Come on, see the belt. - Yo, step out. - Am I lying? - No. - No time. I'm like, yo. - No, the belt was bad. - The cuff links was bad. - It was from Claire. - Claire's. - Claire's gonna make cuff links. - And speak in a Claire. - Special, special. And then I got the looking at then I got the looking at you can say it in the mic. I'm not why I'm a say that shit was hot Kaka say watch was terrible. I think the audience was waiting for like you could tell when The audience went crazy, but he just couldn't execute and deliver he couldn't do the song Yeah, bro. I think if he would have really delivered those songs and like to your point Yo, the track list how he set it up all of that shit. It was it was amazing. He just could not execute yo It was bad vocalist Preserve your voices. Yeah, it was bad He could as just how long as a vocalist expected to preserve their voice honestly At least we are we being are we be at least 50. I don't know when to say yeah Have you seen Charlie Wilson perform? Give me an example that's not Charlie Wilson and Stevie Wonder and the greatest of the great Give me a regular person example. Do you remember? Do you remember a moment where people were trying to get at Casey and was like low-casey look and then if you go listen to Casey now Live Casey is still killing my money any time somebody was killing you got back got back he came back Is he tricking me no to say something bad? Yes, he's learning Whenever somebody said something bad about KT's voice amonnie, they were saying something else to you That speaks to preserving the voice though. So whatever you were doing before Stop doing that. Yeah, stop doing that. Yeah, whatever Everybody that was there for the Joe to see Aaron know that it was two cases Yeah, listen, there's a clip of us are going around right? I'm wrong No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no even records, sings, period. You have to warm up your voice. You have to work your vocals out. You get two vocal chords. That's it, once they go, they gone. - Yo, did you see the clip? I'm in the ass y'all, but it wasn't. - A-E. - Usher could afford Camimil T. - No, it's not just that. - Camimil's not expensive. - How much is Camimil's, how much is Camimil? - You're a bruh. - Very cheap. - I'll play it in like $69 soon as you go. - How much is your record? - You compare usher's regimen. - Usher got a bitch massage in his vocal chords. - That's what he's saying. That's what he's saying. - You can drink in the finest of waters. - No, no. - His PG is really pretty. - Droppin' cherries in his mouth. You know, only nigga still got clean lettuce. - Oh, no. (all laughing) - Blueberry. - And bread. - And what else they got rid of now? - Oh, that shit, bro. That shit, man. - But I dropped, man. - I was trying to say something before it. - That's a clip. - You should've arrested me. - And watch a clip. - Oh, yeah, I didn't bring this up when I first saw her 'cause it's a non-starter. It's not a big deal, but now that we're on Usher, walking through the door. Oh, yeah. - The job's here with him, with the young lady. - Yeah. - And he opens the door for the young lady. - Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes. - And she walks through. - And he waits for that. - And it holds it because Paparazzi is out there. I don't wanna make a sound like he's doing some demon shit. You know some demon shit. Paparazzi is out there. And he makes the security dude, or whoever that is, jog from his elevator shift to hold the door. So he can walk out smooth for the Paparazzi and the camera. - Yeah, I'm Usher. - I'm Usher. - What do y'all think about that? - I did exactly what I was supposed to do. - And that door should have been open. I shouldn't even have to do that. - Yeah. - And she didn't even have to touch the door. Nope. - Usher shouldn't touch doors. - Hey, I'm Usher. What do you think, is she? - They still touch the door. - He always be surprised when you toss it to one topic. I'm trying to formulate my words accordingly. I think that's corny. - Me too. - I think that shit is wack. My nigga, we from where we from. - I'm open from where we from. - I'm open in the fucking door, my nigga. I'm not too big to open the door. - But you're not Usher. - But he did open the door. He opened the door. - What do y'all think? - And I opened the door for myself. - I'm a star. - I hear the catch me walking out here. - Yeah. - I'm not open in the door. - He wasn't rude about how we act through the open door. He's like, yo, can you? - Yo, Ryan, I still think it's corny. - Okay. What do you think? - He ain't touch your door. - I think I'm really glad that I'm not at that level. I'm not at that level of the start 'em. 'Cause it makes sense. I understand. But that's one of the perks of not being at that level of start 'em. - Doors. - Well, first having paparazzi lined up, so you can't really move from your hotel. Now all the people is usually a nice hotel. Now the people who had no idea who I was in this hotel is like, hey, what's going on out there? It's a thing. Now you got to walk out. The picture is important. So in that case, yeah, please hold the door. So I think it's a certain way. - You don't like me doing that, catch it. - Me? - No. - No. - I think Usher has been a star since. - Since stars were made. - Yeah, like he has been a kid star, went into adulthood. He's done all this. There is a procedure that you take as a star when it comes to all his-- - Yeah, it's classes. He probably took a class for that behavior. Like, seriously? - No, for real. - I mean, I'm not sure how much I'm with you. - You ain't see his new shit? - He got a new shit where he, uh, for, I think it's architectural dodges and he walking him through his house? - I don't, I don't have a subscription to that. - No. - It was on TV. It was, I think it's on Netflix. But-- - You watch an architectural dodges? - Yes, he is. He's on architecture. - Yeah. - Yeah, he's walking him through his house. His entire house. But every scene, he changes clothes. He got a tuxedo on over here. - Oh, no, we dragging it. - I'm dead ass. His family jumps in the pool. They all got tuxedos and bargounds on when they jumped in the pool. - And when the guys pool is different fit? - Like you think I'm talking about bullshit? - He walks them around his entire house. And in his house, he keeps changing outfits and he walking them around on some diva shit, like some real diva shit. - Is there anybody that, for y'all, it would be any diva behavior is acceptable because you accept the fact that they are diva. - Oh. - Like that's the consensus on Mariah Carey, right? - Yes. - We are women, yes. - We are women, I'll say. - All right, so let's take women out. - Men? - No. - Yeah. - Yeah, man can be divos. - I think Stevie Wonder could be a diva. - For sure. - Thousand percent. - Stevie Wonder, Ronald Eisley. - Lonnie Richie. - Yeah, Ronald Eisley, another one. - Lonnie Richie is one of those. - Yeah. - Oh, shit. - What's the diva behavior? - Like I think my door. - Yeah. - Bitch. - Yeah. - Hold my door if I'm shopping with my bags, slice my steak, clear this, clear this place before I get there, empty the mall. - That. - Yeah. - Close the hospital, I'm having a baby. - A lot of that shit is safety precautions. You know what I'm saying? So I don't look at that as diva-esque. Like, yo, if I've rent the whole floor in this hospital, I'm renting that because Niggas paparazzi out here trying to take pictures of your baby and shit like that to sell the pictures. - No, that's not the thing. - 'Cause I won't rent the whole American dream playground. - You know what I'm saying? That's different. It's different. - I think that. - I haven't some like, slice your steak is insanity to me. - That's insane. - That's insane to me. - And somebody shoot you, you know what I'm saying? - Okay. - Joe, clearly not a lot of steak house people in here. - Joe, if you get, if we really, clearly I'm on an island with this one. - If you go ahead and get a steak, you expect to call somebody in the restaurant say, "Do me a favor, walk over." And slice this up for me at the table. - Who gonna slice it me? - What the hell is that? - What is he talking about? - That's some demon shit. - No, it's not. - Demon shit is placed in my mouth. That's demon shit. - Yeah, that's demon shit. I'm not touching the fork for me. - You don't think having a cut it is demon shit? I mean, it's certain spots that they're gonna bring it to you slice it. - He wouldn't do it. - They're gonna come to you and ask you. If you ordered a nice steak at a nice steak house, they should ask you, would you like, it's like food? - That's not the same thing. - You just saying the right thing. - Yo, yo, somebody comes like this. - We're saying every time I go to get a pee, a nigga is doing like this for me at my table. - Oh, no, no, no, no, no. - He's talking about like, like, the bonds worth bimphyship. - Yeah, that's not what I'm talking about. - That's my steak. - That's different. - That's something different. - Yo, I'm so heated, man. - That's different. - Well, yeah. - I wanna see your first class behavior. - I'm with Ollie. I don't know how to-- - But you just on the part talking shit, but it's some places I know the diva come out of you. - I know the diva come out of you. - Is she used to come through the kitchen, Acosta. - Acosta? - Okay. - That's diva. - No, I did not. - No, I didn't. - No, I didn't. - No, I didn't. - No, I did not. - No, I didn't. - No, I didn't. - No, I didn't. - I was part of that pulled you up to the front door. The establishment he's talking about, you parked literally on the side and they opened the side door for you to come into the restaurant. - Not everybody. - Not everybody. - And I didn't do that a lot. I did that very seldomly, but that's what they told us to do. - That is. - Am I lying? - No, you're not lying. - You didn't ask for that. - I was part of the membership. - Come through there. - That's what happened. - Got it. - Got it. - Yeah, got it. - Got it. - Yeah, got it. - Everybody. Everybody that parked over there didn't get the option to go walk through it. - No, no, no. - Everybody in parked over there didn't have a membership. - That's not true. - And it was levels to the membership. That's one thing. But what I'm saying is, that what we, we're all a divas. - The diva members. - Yeah, we're all a divas. - We didn't know that was an option. We didn't say, hey, can we walk through here? - Yeah. - First time there is, hey, we're going to come get you and bring you through here. Oh, okay, cool. That's not. - You ain't got to defend yourself, yo. - Hey, yo, stop fronting like you've never seen me walk in the front door of the house. - You work hard to be a divo. - You could be a divo. - I'm telling you, when I'm telling you me, you're going to think I'm shooting at you, but I'm not. When I see you outside and we don't come to the place together, when I see you, I'm like, look at it's being a diva. - Now, I will say, I've only seen one person, I know who car would be parked on the sidewalk. Right there. I didn't know you could park on the sidewalk. - You can. - Well. - If you're a divo, you can. - I know somebody that parked on the sidewalk. - That's a fact. - Be a diva at the fucking Ping Pong and Bitches party that was happening. - What's that party? - What's that party? - We call it a ship standing bitch. - Stand up Ping Pong and Bitches, right? - Ping Pong and Bitches. - Yes. That's what it was. - That's what it was. - You think it's, think I'm always lying. Or lying, Bitch. - What it was called. - Paddle of the Sexes. - What the fuck are you fucking doing? - Yo, paddle, paddle with sexes. (laughing) - Shower, shower, shower, shower. - With his best shit on, with the stand on the side. - From the pond that you're talking about. - Smoke over me, smoke over me, smoke over me. - Yes, he smoked those at paddle with his sexes. - Yo, he's good at that. - He had a spotlight following him when he walked around. I tapped gory, look at this nigga. Look at this nigga, ain't played a Bing Bong since fucking. - Yo, you lost so much. - I'm telling you, you been here for your best, show you the best. - That's why I make sure to not speak to him in that instance. I ain't saying no, no, no, no, no. - I'm gonna put the light on you now. - I ain't saying no, no, no, no, no. - That ain't exactly what you're saying. - I ain't saying word to him the whole night. - And that's how you be bagging the shit, 'cause he, I don't know that nigga. Fuck your butt. (laughing) I make sure that we're, let me talk, don't talk over me. - What is it? - Talk after I'm done. Don't tap nobody, I'm talking yo. - Hold on. - I was talking, as soon as I'm done, he could go. - No, you just gonna get louder and cut me off more, but go ahead. - Remember the fuck I was saying now, 'cause you fucking cut me off. - 'Cause you lost so much, you can't remember 'em. Yo, fam, which one is it, do I? Use your name for bitches or do I die? - I don't talk to him when he and Diva moves. Diva, Diva, Diva. - Diva. - Diva. - Yeah, I don't talk to him when he, when he activate. (laughing) - He walking with his hands and, and that's his attitude. - Yo, we call him, we go out of people with us. - That at the fucking save on a mixer. - Yeah. - He Divo now. - Now listen, I'm gonna keep the buttons here. - And save on his hands, so I'm gonna say no. - I don't know about no other event. - You be Divo now, man. - You walked off the elevator like, bearing in, bearing. (laughing) - It's cool, it's all right, man. - Yeah, I let you lie. - You let yourself aware. - No. - No. - See? - I'm sure not. - You don't even know. - No. - That shit was, that shit was-- - Mona, no one say none in case you could crack in the future, but-- (laughing) (laughing) Double-one, Tondra. (laughing) - Oh my God. - Oh my God. - Oh my God. - Oh my God. - You gotta fuck you up. - Okay, okay. - Yeah, it's crazy, sir. - That's horrible. - Oh my God. - That's fucked up, man. - My bag. - And now it's time for my favorite part of the show. (singing) - All right, so we've made a discovery. (laughing) - I don't feel like fucking what you're already about this shit. - No, we were all walking around chilling, and I realized you got on one sock again. - You mean it's just that-- - Is that your thing? Is that like your signature? - First of all, no. - It's a fly on one sock though. - And you've never denied the correct thing. - Thank you. (laughing) - Never just came out and said, you know what? - I don't smoke crack, I've never tried it. I don't have any, you know what I mean? I do know how to cook. - You don't have any crack. - No, I don't have any. - Okay. - But you be in neighborhoods where crack is. - Crack is not even really a thing anymore. People don't smoke crack. - Around that store it was. (laughing) - That's the old school store front. The store you going, got two bags of chips. - Here's the truth, right? - Hey, boy. - Here's the truth. - When I was first visiting the sock in the big fight, it was a compression sock. I just ran out, I forgot the sock, okay? The emergency, 'cause I only had a certain amount, so I was constantly washing them at first. I think I was like fresh out of surgery then. These socks, I like Enklets. And I like the way that it looks in the summer, so I'm going back and forth like, do I want to do a sock or no sock, 'cause I like my Enklets. - So you said fucking people, but where's the other one? - Oh, for God. - Are you just buying one? (laughing) - No, they can stop. Listen, move on. - So this is a choice. - Wrap it up. - It was a fucking mistake, I forgot. - It was a mistake, was it? - I started from a tension deficit disorder. Are you making fun of my disorder, guys? - We ain't doing that. - No, we ain't making fun of my disorder. - Not at all, I'm not. - That was one way. - I'm not. - I'm not. - I'm not. - I've had to finally have a name to put to what the disorder. - What you talking? - I was trying to figure this shit out myself. much and you do attend a lot of don't think I don't let them put us in the beach I'm rolling you ever seen go fellas yes man time all right and they bring my man a table in the front nigga said him a money goes to blue all right all right my question is the same so that makes that relationship what power stronger than yours no no I'm not even say stronger than I'm saying I think the answer you don't get rid of the soups for the summer yeah I think but I'll back a close if they take that potato soup out of there you won't see another outback the nigga's idea for the steaks you think those are good steaks I've never had the super outback no one each day you go oh shit you go to outback you go to outback for the kook among the wings and shit like that with the soup no and I don't think they're wrong for taking soup off for summer because I think average people don't want to eat soup in the summer well the extraordinary people do the extraordinary people want some soup most people don't eat soup in the summer because it's because she says that big got wings the soup cools you down it's not cuz now you slept you know me but this you know me and most people are super cold in the Nobody could ever say Rand can't rap. You would be fooled even say that. But a lot of times with those who are excellent lyricists, that marriage between being in production, to make it an easy listen, don't always be there. I disagree with that with Rand personally a little bit 'cause I've liked the production on most of his shit that he's been releasing for the past five years. But I can see this speaking to you more possibly? Yeah, that's fine. Well, I've listened, but I mean, this one. It's a very easy listen. That's all I'm saying. This album. I actually hear Rand. It's actually hear singles on this album. Okay. Like, I don't expect that from Ransom. It's like, and they good. Usually when the super-liberal dude tries to do the single, it falls flat. Or it seems like you're reaching. You're not comfortable doing that. True. He seems like he's just in his pocket everywhere on this album. Whether it's an introspective, deep-liberal record or the sky high record, which is clearly a bop. Right. He just a miss. It's something for everybody on this project. See? When I'm listening to his past projects, I agree. I feel like rat-wise, there's no denying that he can rap. I think this album shows how much he's grown as a songwriter. Yes. And a human. And that's a man. Like, just grown man shit. If I'm a 40-something-year-old man and I want to listen to an album I can really relate to and not just get bars from, this is the album I'm going to listen to right now. Yes. Absolutely. Shout to Rand. Shout to Rand, man. Rand, you growing all your own food and eating it? Yeah, nigga. That's what I'm saying, yo. You should out here today. When you see him and you be like, yo, how's this dude in such a maze and shit, nigga's growing his food out there and wherever you at? It's fine. Oh, the discipline it takes for that boy. Where would I be without a microwave? You still use microwave? Yeah, or what? Well, it's not really called a microwave. But I use what y'all use it. I have something to eat the food up. A convection oven, I think. Yeah. It's not a microwave. Which is an air fryer, really. But anyway. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's bad. But I don't have a microwave. It's none wrong with it. It's something wrong with it if it's on the counter. I'm not going. Come on. Yo, I can't be the only one to spill the fucking bad shit about myself. Say it for me. I do look. I do judge a little bit. Of course you do if your microwave is on the counter. A little bit. A little bit. I know. I'm the last. You know the fuck's up? I judge if it's on the counter. And if you've got a little section for it. Like, if it's hanging up some way. You made your makeshift shit. Yeah. It's a plow wood. What's the way? What's the most? What's the most? It sounds really good. It's true. Yeah, I heard half of it. It sounds beautiful. It sounds like amazing, beautiful music. A lot of keys and chords. Yeah. And I do want, I do miss some of that Cleo Soul like before she had this baby. Yeah. I do miss some of that. I ain't got that vibe. Cleo Soul. And while I ain't even got it from the most recent salt project either. So it seems like that's something a sound that's kind of been abandoned since his baby. It's been here. I'm not blaming her on the baby. I love all that mom. Hey, congratulations. Yeah, congratulations. You're killing shit. But different space. That's the message. Exactly. You can do about it. Yeah. The music's so good. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, for sure. Shout out to Cleo Soul. I will get around to checking out the project and it's entirety of a huge fan. Don't let what I'm saying confuse you. Huge fan of Cleo Soul. We mentioned Leon Thomas and Lucky Day record. It just dropped. All right, so I'm gonna play it now. You're gonna be on there saving that game for Lance. Yeah. All right. All right, let me see. I didn't get all the way through game shit. It was long as fuck. Fools. I would have long. Yeah, listen to a couple of times. All right. He'll talk about it. Go. I'll fly you out. I'll fly you out. I'll fly you out. I'll fly you out. I'll fly you out. That's right. Lucky. Go first. Set the tone. Set the tone for. Show me how it's both of you done. Lucky. Let's go. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You see how I'm born in Jesse? I know it's just hard. It's shit and hard. Good stuff. That's brand new lucky day featuring Leon Thomas fly you out Never cut it over when the other time is I Fool I tricked y'all out there Come on man, come on, let me start. Come on. You know what we trying to do. Let's hurry up and get the verse out So we can compare and contrast see who got washed you didn't Did you go that record is called fly you out that is lucky day and Leon Thomas and don't even say feature in Leon Thomas It says lucky day and Leon Thomas does that mean we should expect more from these two I would love a EP or something from them to those of my two favorite R&B male artists currently maybe demons is chopping it up putting it together I think that'd be a nice idea. I think Leon is on a a sick low-run Especially with an R&B, you know he does That may be calling it a sick low-run is downplaying it is everywhere, but he's killing it It's one thing and it's he weird and it's he everything is he Not I'm not making fun, but it's going to sound like I'm making fun. Oh remember when you and gain did a record together Future future right before that there was it just seeing y'all cool was like oh shit We gonna get a Joe and game record Future was a cool song. Yeah, that was horrible, but when you first hear that feature the game is gonna be together So when I first heard lucky day and Leon don't give me wrong this song is dope dope, but going and listen to algorithm again And then listen to Leon's mud album and then the the EP folks join after that. I I wanted something Something else. Huh. I just wanted something else Know it's funny about that and the me and game example is a good one right because no matter the record I would have wanted to make with gain the game the people that were paying for that record did I took a little bit off the top things Games, but the people that were paying for that record they wanted a single So here we go now it never goes right when you go in the studio to make a Single so I feel like lucky day and Leon Thomas if you get these two names. You got a damn all that junk I feel like if you get Leon Thomas and lucky day together whoever's putting that together is saying I need to leave here With something that could at least be a single not something that really shows you guys is artistic reasons Yeah, and that's what it sounds like I like it a lot to me too. I like I do especially when the beat get in And start moving. Yeah, I really like it. I'm gonna listen to it, but I wouldn't like the idea of them linking and doing something together I think that's dope and I think it's a dope way for lucky to get back into There's four rotation of of job and the Leon Thomas need to do that right now. No, he don't and why does lucky need to do it? I'm not saying he needs to I'm just saying I think I'm saying if he's not in I know she's in a normal rotation of what's going on I assume that's purposeful. I'm assuming he's probably recording music. I Think I don't think we should get a album first. I think we should get something to work us up to the lucky album I think right now we have a really dope movement of R&B getting highlighted especially coming off of us here Chris Brown tour. I think if you have and we've always had this conversation about men and R&B not really standing out when leading the way for R&B Okay, so if you get your two premier R&B vocalists two premier R&B acts at a truly R&B and ailing together and give us a dope project I think that keeps the train moving and then anything they do after that is going to I'm gonna say if I'm Leon Thomas Listen to this so for just like a guy If I'm Leon Thomas No, okay, no, you got you got you got lucky day fucked up a little. I'm not saying this project. Yeah, I'm not amazing I am smoking on everything. No, y'all making me mad now Now everybody shut the fuck up for a minute I'm down to have to talk y'all when I have but before we do listen y'all making me mad We got to be up together. It wasn't no mud around when this was out It wasn't no mud around Before my way before my way before the on Thomas project. That's my point. It couldn't be nothing now Nicky, you hear what's going on? I want you. You hear what's going on? Fuck y'all talk about you're gonna play Thomas until for that. No, I'm giving you divide nigga. Hold up I'm giving you divide but what's going on? Fuck as you talking about nigga. I love Leon Thomas, too He's on fire. He killed blacks out when he killed while he's out me until killing every album. He's on Well, Leon. I mean, not Leon. Lucky day was at my pool party. Lucky is that nigga. Let's get it we've been to the lucky days show 100% he took us backstage greener just at the front. I ain't gonna turn Yeah, hold up for a minute Hold up for a minute now. Hey, look, it we're still riding Can't we wait for it out. Fly the way I'm just saying, can we not be? Can we not be disrespectful? This is lucky. It's all lucky day. I'm not gonna say this is disrespectful. I'm not being disrespectful. I'm okay. I'm now I'm paying it that way. And everything I do is scorching hot. Why am I going to attach a project to another name? nigga, no, I can do this myself cuz they're both great. No, yeah stop. Yeah stop. Okay, okay. Yeah, what do you? I'm not. This is not reply to parks because that's a good one. They're both great. Yeah, they are both that's fine But I don't need to do nothing with nobody great right now. She I'm great. I'm doing this shit my own. Everybody's coming to me I'm not saying anything like you even you said the Again, I'm not being disrespectful but the fact that you had to say hey lucky. We still rocking with you Says a lot of people that's not or something if if lucky and Leon do a project together and a big part of the longevity of a project is touring and it's not many R&B tours where you can get two premier R&B acts Especially male to go on a road together You just seen it with Bruno Anderson whoever yeah, why not link with someone else who I know can keep up with me And we'll be also able to do their own catalog and we both go on a road together after you drop your project I drop my shit that only to me the when I cool off when I cool off I'm that's all I'm saying up from if I'm scorching hot I'm not looking to make a project with nobody right now. I don't need that right this second. Okay. I can do my own tour I don't need you saying that as he has paired himself with everybody while he's on this run. Yeah, so my point He hasn't released a project with everybody. I'm only speaking to doing a project with lucky day I'm not saying nothing about we if him and lucky day here if him song with this person I'm saying that if him and lucky day plan on doing any semblance of a tour together It wouldn't be smart to do it. Of course if you're doing it makes you doing a tour. Yeah And that tour is seven out wherever the fuck they go right 100% that's a fire to talk about a tour Didn't yeah, this is supporting the tour and earth. That's joint. I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about now I'm talking about it now. You know what's going to be not when we was at the lucky day show wait brief aside back to the Olivia show we could as bros and been completely happy. I believe I know it was like 90% women and a lot of them you ever see sometimes like When the fanbase kind of resembles the stars. Yes. Oh see So he there's a lot of roses in here. That's all It's some dandy line field. I got I got a car and was walking in and there was a girl from me. I was like she probably six foot Dressed to the nose. I'm like is that Olivia? Oh, here. What's she doing on 34th Street? It's five. Oh, yeah Now he's talking to him. Go ahead. I know your wife is he is because you can't say no. Oh, no, she's with me. Whatever you talking about It wasn't like it. It's just some of walkers, y'all That's a nice one. That's so cool. Yo, next show me he go to we bagging some y'all I'm doing it for me and my girl Next show we go to I'm bagging some to bring home for me and my girl like a dog bag Fuck that fuck they talk now next show we go to if it's fine shit out you come Yeah I feel like Mona learns every time I play some over the morning and then about and then stuff. (laughing) - Some booze, you know what I'm saying. - Thanks. - That's what I'm playing. - Yo, not speaking of Boomerang, but speaking of Harlem Knights that nobody was speaking of, but you say Boomerang. - Yeah, you got to. - Speaking of Harlem Knights, I turned on Netflix when the coming attractions was there, and I got hyped for something called the Dating App Killer. And then it came out. So when me and my girl was going to sleep, you know, I didn't want to watch the bomb on Pan Am 103 'cause we got to pay attention. So I put on the Dating App. That shows great. - Yes. - Bomb on Pan Am 103. - I do got to watch that too. - Yes. - Six episodes of bombing a Pan Am 103. It's great, like a dope viewing, like the agency. It's just like a good shit. But so I put on the Dating App Killer and I watched 10 minutes of it. And Lila Rashan is, Lila Rashan is on her show. - Yeah. - Yo. - Sunshine. - Sunshine. - What do you have to say, ish? - Sunshine. - What do you got to say, ish? - Who wrote that? - Which one? - Lila Rashan, which Lila Rashan? - Mm-hmm. - To watch that? - To watch that. - You seeing the person I'm talking about? - Lila Rashan? - No, today. - Today? - I'm asking you which one? - Today. - Today. - The today one. - Yeah, I'll say. - Yo, sleep. - Hold on. - Yeah, now I'm about to be back to the room. - I'm sorry. - I said yo. - You just messed up. - Yeah, I said yo. - That's your man over there. - Lila Rashan. - I said it in the whole room lit up. - I didn't see the date in that killer. You don't need to. Lauren, did you see the Charles Manson, should ya? - No. - You're a doc person. Normally when you do that, it's such a drastic fall from the name you're trying to attach to. This really ain't. It's a couple joints on it that I don't really like per se. But I've been trying to figure out what my, what the problem is, we're game. Why, even when you bring up the West Coast rappers, he's not looked at it. And this album confirmed it for me. Outside of a couple songs on this project and a couple songs on, I wanna say that's Drs Advocate, like a couple albums here and there. Game is a West Coast East Coast rapper. And that's why he doesn't fit. He don't really fit the West Coast sound. He did it more on this album than he has on pretty much any of the other ones that come to recent memory. But I think that's the little knock against him. Like even his introduction was through East Coast rappers. He picks a lot of beats that sound East Coast the way he raps sounds East Coast. Even though you know way from he makes sure he shouts it out this way. Everything. He makes it very clear. Yeah. Like maybe that 100%. And a bunch of East Coast beats on this album. No, no. So I said outside of this album. Yeah. Outside this one is like a return to a West Coast sound. Drs Advocate was more of a West Coast. Out of, yeah. These two projects. Most of this sounds like, this sound like I intentionally made a West Coast out of you and you know I now you could go into the Y because again he's shooting that Kendrick a lot on here he's he's but he's also not he do that though gang will do that I will shoot at you and then make and then give you props that's please that's not exclusive to Kendrick neither like that's his yeah that's the thing yeah I'm going to shoot at you and then like clean it up your game has one of the most impressive catalogs top two top two don't acknowledge enough I don't my only problem with this album is that it didn't drop immediately after the verses I would have it's close and cool but if you would have told me right after that moment I'm sure 12 o'clock documentary three dropping I think it would have had a bigger effect to get it like I this is a surprise drop it was like I don't know where we got we started I started working on this for years yes so I don't want to call it a surprise drop he has been he had to say to love it I'm good on that one at first I didn't like the Wayne record I played it and like halfway through Wayne's verse I was ready to just all right let me skip not let it go and I'm not really a fan of double time flow by the time game came on they just kind of all fit the song like he kind of saved it for me I didn't really like Wayne's but then they started the little back and and a half times that's a lot for a lot more that's all I listen to since they dropped it then I heard the surf record on the way in I got to sit with him more like any other album especially with Sometimes I just let you out get yada shit off. No, no, no, no, no. Just no, no, no, no, no, no. I could go ahead and all that shit. I could just say one thing. You just make all this shit. You heard what I said earlier. He good. Oh, everything he good. You heard him. He said it earlier. And that's my bad, then. Tough. I'm a nigg. I'm wrong. Tough. I'm not necessarily joking. Shout out to the game. Word. I will listen to this project. The project game was going on. Yeah. I got to listen to it on the bigs. Not when I'm on the toilet at three in the morning. Yeah. Yeah, listen to Rapsley. Drop the project today too. I listen to that one on the phone. It's tough. Denon, I think, did the whole thing pretty much. But I want to ride with it. Listen to it. Got it. Same. Same. Let me just look at my phone and make sure nothing else came out that I need you to talk about. Destin Conrad came out. I'm not listening to Destin Conrad. Do reggae. That's what he's doing. I'm not doing that. That's the reggae. I'm listening. Some of it is cool. I listen to it at some point. Yeah. But you just came off the opera album. You just. Hey, back to our game called. I just wish people would just sound like them for a second before they get to bouncing around all these jobs. You a new act. Oh, well. You a brand new act. I'm just getting there. We've been 20 years. Yeah. But then if they don't do it out the gate, then they get box into that. True. And then if I've always been able to do all these different things out the gate, I'm showing you that I'm versatile. And if I'm a creator. That's my time. Imagine the game did that from the jump. Then we would today just look at him as a nigga who can do whatever he want. But if you go for so long doing one thing, and then now you want to switch up in year 10, nigga's like, what are you doing? I know we say that a lot, but all the artists that think they are Swiss Army knife are not. That's the fact. I don't want a whole bunch of people hopping around trying to get in that. Did you like the Dustin Conrad, first project? His first project? Hell yeah. Did you like the jazz joint? It's okay. Okay. But you can clearly see he's… His first project was night and day. First project when I didn't know he was gay. I didn't know he was gay. I thought he was just fucking crazy. But you liked it. You even liked the project when you found out that he was gay? Oh yeah, yeah. He made gay, don't have nothing. Right. I'm on his debut album with jumping and kissing and public and all that. I think that's complete heat. So yeah, give me some of that. But go ahead. Go ahead. Doing some reggae shit. I'm shutting up. I'm a fan. I don't know. Did he completely abandon that sound that you like? Or is it… See, the thing about like you mentioned game, he jumped around but then he still got records on here where I'm still giving you just me and what y'all like. I'm not mad at that. If I want to do some extra shit on the album cool, but I'm also going to give you what y'all know me for. So to your Dustin Conrad example, is it that he abandoned that? The shit that like Joe was saying he liked or is it just… It's not so much abandonment when you love certain genres of music and there's a market for you to go ahead and be featured in that market. Why not take the chance and get angry? And this is a high person to have to compare. But if someone would have told Quincy from day one when he started working with Frank and all of them, yo, you stay in his zone. You're only allowed to do this. Like the jazz shit. He would kill the jazz world and then at some point he wanted to do the album with Michael. The execs told Michael, Quincy's not the person to do this. He does not know what the fuck he's going to do in pop and he goes and delivers you the greatest album of all time. Like, people don't want to be boxed into saying this is what I can do because that's all I've shown. So fuck that. All y'all stay on the side of real artistry and real creatives. So you kind of can't pigeonhole somebody who's brain or creativity is just running them up. Yeah. I'm a false. I agree. I'll wait for him to get back in his back. I mean, whatever the back is, I can go call the gay back, but I don't need reggae, Justin Carmrede. I'm a listen to it. I'm a listen to it. But before we do get out of here, there's some news floating around. We just get out of here with that. Cause you say, let me see it. That's it. I got more music. No, I got music, though. I'm for you talking. I can do to keep mowing the silence just a little bit longer, man, this is my girl. But Eric Belinger dropped his album, dope, named Eric Belinger, named Eric Belinger and he's hitting the classic R&B pose on the front. Okay. Perfect timing. 10 songs, 29 minutes. Not too much. Yeah. Oh, I like that. Yeah. And like you said, perfect timing. Let me just hit some randomly, I ain't here as you, this is track for a closure. Let me just hear it with your own real quick. BB friend of the show. Faux-show. Oh. Anytime you can put the water drop in there, you got me, a little bit of reverb, a lot of reverb. I've been like 10 years now, since you found out, and the nose went loose on the internet. I'm having a baby by somebody else, I think crazy, because I hadn't even told you. Yeah. I love this nigga, yo. I love him. I love him. Oh. Oh. Oh. I was like it if you, we've all knew it was over, but there was no problem, I had to choose. God damn it, smoke and eat food, God damn it. This is beautiful. That's fine. That's great. That's heat. That's a huge mess. That's a huge mess. Yeah. Why are we on there, yo? I'ma say this. I'ma say this. I'ma say this. I'm moving on. Dude having a baby on the side is aggressive for the last 30 years, yo, Joe, please, there's a sensitive topic. Joe, what? How woman handles her man having a human with another bitch? Yeah, they do it aggressively. Joe. What's the other option? How should you be handed? Should you go buy something for the baby shop for this little fucker? Yes. Joe. Yeah, you crazy. What? Stop. Like why would you not be beaten to shit out of your own name? Now I don't do it. I don't have side babies. If I had a side baby, I would want my girl to love on them. That's someone. Baby, don't have nothing to do with how I cheated on you. The baby is here. You ain't got to smack the shit out of them. I made a mistake. The baby is here. What you gonna leave me? It wasn't a mistake. No. You can't fuck with that baby to that baby. That's someone. That's someone. Can't fuck with that motherfucker. Take a walk at least. As someone who had a side baby. You gotta be mad at first. Fuck that. Don't bring that baby. It's not my side baby. No. Side baby. You did that? Yes. There's no way in the world you could ever tell another person how to respond when you have to look in the eyes and see how fucked up that is. That shit hurt. Did you hear confessions? It's fucked up when they leave us. Yeah. Can you change when they stay? I don't think they should leave over that. What? Okay. Joe, if you flip it. I wouldn't do it. Don't try to make it sound like I'm arguing for that. Don't even say you would do it. I would not do that. Flip it. But when people do it. Flip it. I would be here. Flip it. I would be there. You would not be able to walk into a home and look at the child that you're partner had with someone else, especially when that little nigga or little girl looks just like the dad. You got me, fuck up. You mean a baby that I could love but leave it anytime? You know we never have it on him because y'all had to be around a bitch pregnant it would never have come on It would never fucking have the flat print on his head. You said no way. I got more music. I got more music I'm just talking shit. I'm just throwing shit at the wall. Uh, girlfriend all of the above. Let's go. Let's go Let's go Shout out to girlfriend Another friend of the show who we haven't met yet, but we support this joint is lit. This joint is absolutely lit Some of y'all listening agreeing with them, but y'all are a break-baby or fucking stuff. Just y'all fucking X Let's go I don't want to give you the wrong impression, but it seems like there's no direction No, I always answer when you call my name. I just hope that you could say the same thing You got a lot of promises to make. Oh Why keep on telling you the same old thing? I don't ever ever get a guessy and I should tell my million dollar question Oh That record is called all of the above by girlfriend Available in your phone and on DSPs right this break ego All right, I'm done. That's all good. I'm done. Don't use it. I am done with Yeah, wait up bells back after last week's nothing this Yeah, it's been quiet So I'm fair, buddy My favorite weeks. Yeah, all right, so we are seeing something disturbing floating around Yeah, so we want to just send prayers to a peak of quality control We don't know any details. We don't know any stories, but we seeing things floating around on the internet They say may or may not be in the hospital hospitalized a rep for P confirmed a variety that the hip hop moguls were covering from a medical incident We want to clarify that P is alive and currently hospitalized receiving medical care Everyone keep P in his family and their thoughts and prayers and respectfully give them the privacy and space they need during this Praying, yeah, some people are saying hard to take and all the other Praying, I don't even care. We don't know what it is Praise prayers, yeah, I'm just praying for a man. I just be recovered. Hopefully everything is eyed man. Where? What else is important what else what else needs are a tension? Let's see All right, I'm tossing it to my little dark expert. That's free is fish. Oh, I mean it's free Freeze what's going on, man. Oh, the trial started Freedom Three of the trial started free him into his back work. Yeah, he has a uphill battle. It looks like They got quite a few members of his his Camp that are working against him. Uh-oh Now I thought that last week when we came in here and said hey, they have 35 witnesses a lot of people on the internet It was like you got 35 witnesses. It don't take that long to draw the picture of paint the story that you trying to tell that might be good news for Durk, I was like or There's 35 niggas that's telling some shit that they want to hear So they could be really putting up Trying to drive the point home to keep you where you are. I didn't take that as good news Then you hear listen, I don't know none of these niggas names. OTF jam. Yeah, OTF jam was in the jail and was had They of course they've had the bunkey in there. That's a federal informant. So OTF jam told the bunkey who's a federal informant that dirt paid him to get back for deep thing and it's like It's getting crazy. Did you see that thing that went viral? I don't know if this guy is testifying on him or not But him and Durk are in a video together, but they got footage of him from the cop car to the side of station crying And I give you a homicide. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so so that person the person you're talking about the reason why that footage is out is because in the I guess the indictment Where it lists like you know, they'll they'll when it's like a confidential witness Whatever they'll use the initials and stuff and it said this person appeared in a video with Vaughn Durk and they were at I believe was ice box or something So you know niggas went and found what video are they talking about? It's him So it identified the person and then it didn't they found the other clip of him saying I'll give you a homicide so it's like about did cop open the door And he is Falling apart and they can't even get in the building and in the street while he's getting walk He's like I tell an armistice I tell you I tell your homicide Yeah, who's the other dude again? I don't know anybody's name no disrespect I'm just not familiar with all of these names Who's the other dude that they was like they got testimony of him saying the dirt pulled him in the bathroom like you'll you got a chill out Yo, that's the you that's too many murdered. That's him That's when they talk about and that's when I knew that I was retired for good like I pulled my niggas to the side and be like yo Slow down with all this candy Yo, man, you need to slow down you driving so fast you need to Slow down you killing too many people on us Is what allegedly was said slow down. You don't get the fans on us And they're bringing their using bro. They're using if that's true that mean he's seen knew about a couple murders and let them slide He didn't think his man was that line. Yeah, after two. It's a limit the threshold. All right Don't you go yo, you live in though. Yeah, we was good with five But yeah, yeah, it's and they're using Everything everything podcast appearances music videos text messages lyrics. Wait, come on slow down. They're using evidence Wait a minute you got to be shit me a lot of people got this whole, you know, you shouldn't be allowed to use lyrics and court No way to use an evidence against Moana, how you feel for him? Yes Free him Is it yeah, they're killing this ball You know you all know that The case with the the young boy Carmelo Anthony. He lost he got to 35 years. Yeah, and you know they have a new trial now Yeah, no, I don't know what the fuck you did to this. I don't like it now they got all this new information coming out right That they agreed to withhold from the trial. They knew but yeah, well right not new what's new to us? Thinking best treats because the they agreed to not bring certain things up But Austin the boy who he got to an obligation with he been a he was locked up for like Arrasa people being racist like his background. It's niggas 17. His background is checkered as fuck, but it's all interactions Well like black people and just doing or just doing bully shit He was the same way everybody thought that Carmelo like Was defending himself like he was really in a situation where it's all these niggas against him. That's What it is that's what happened? Yeah, so and that's a fact this bona fide fact here got him right in KKK on the wall When it when the chip was going on the first trial where hit the streets was that because you know, Austin's a twin Yeah, Austin his brother beat the shit out there father So it already showed you the type of home like they had yeah because niggas don't beat the shot They dead when things is going okay, right, but it says the prosecutor says Austin mech have had documented history They included racist and anti-Semitic graffiti and bullying and some of the evidence and some of the evidence was deliberately excluded from the original trial But it's like what type of lawyer would you have to have to agree? You was supposed to fight that down to the ground That was the whole fucking case, but like the streets say it was self-sabocated a lot of people think that it was bigger hands evolved to make sure that Why would you agree to that why but the lawyer sometimes is not the person that is in control of that the judge could be like no This is not admissible. This is not admissible even if the attorney is fighting for I'm not saying he did fight for it I'm saying but sometimes that might be outside of his hands Bro, they have a laundry list of shit that this boy is was doing since he was a child That was just bullion Beligerent this like just One or two do's that was just the bad seat They was and they basically elected to dismiss all of that shit So you can't even paint the narrative of this kid has been running around bullying people So what would make him the exception in this particular case that he wasn't already being a little like him. Yes That's didn't they recuse the judge so people are calling for the lawyer to be this bar That's what I'm saying. It's like that lawyer me the defense. Yes He made mistakes that are large enough that people are accused of him So it could be, it could be, bro, we know how this shit go, bro. We know exactly how this shit goes. That's the sneaker, please. That's not true, but it's like that to me. That's just mind blowing like, 'cause that was the whole debate. It's just, it's, it's, and that's how it should be decided before the trial started, and that's shit down. I don't care what evidence you bring. It was things held up, held back for Carmelo to. Carmelo ex-girlfriend allegedly told the school administrator that less than two hours before the stabbing, Carmelo was stalking her and wouldn't accept the break up. Prosecutors also said that his phone contained messages showing the obsession with guns and eyes that fight. And Prosecutors also said presented evidence involving a photo of a knife that Carmelo, Carmelo allegedly sent his ex shortly before the killer. But here's the thing, all that may be cool. You just fucked up and bullied the nigga that liked guns and eyes. Because you can like guns and eyes, but you shouldn't bully the motherfucker that liked guns and eyes, 'cause they might poke you. (laughs) - That's a fact. - Free Carmelo, please free me a free Carmelo for real. - I said dirt shit to Joe. Dirk made a lot of choices. Free Carmelo, 'cause that shit's some bullshit. And he's just a kid. I would rather my son make a home then to get, to let the people kill him or whatever was going to happen to him, whether he's going to stop him out or just punch him in the stomach. He defended himself, bring that boy home. That's what we're at with it. I represent the Joe Bullying Park. What I say represents the whole park. - I don't disagree with you. - Yeah, I know. - I'm what you're talking about. - I'm what you're at. You ain't saying it wrong. - You ain't saying it wrong, girl. Speaking of trials, you seeing anything from this other QVD trial still? - Oh, gosh. - I'm like, I'm just watching now. - It's like, it's borderline, it's funny. - It's funny. It's funny. - It's sad, but it's funny. - What's funny about it? - Bro, you sitting there in the crowd that do this test upon, you call them a fucking rat. Like, they got you, saying that. - Loud. - Like, out of my nigga. They can see you. What are you doing? - It's just dumb shit. - It's probably so old and ancient. - Yeah, that's-- - It's like, what type of time are we getting told in this? - They had the other dude up there. He got mad, he's like, yo, I don't wanna sing you the joke. I can't answer that question. He yelling at QVD, yo, get your lawyer. Like, the question he asked me, if I answer them, you go in the jail. - Yeah. - I don't wanna answer this. - He understand, he said, I don't wanna answer this, 'cause I don't wanna sing you the joke. - Them old niggas turn up. - And then look at him and say, get your lawyer. Niggas gotta know when they turn a street off. - I can't answer this. The point was, I'm out of that life. I don't wanna talk about none of that shit. I don't wanna be here. I already told you, y'all gonna have to treat me as hostile. I'm a grandfather. I don't wanna talk about none of those things from that day. And the questions y'all asking me, I'm even though me and him don't get along. I'm not trying to hurt him. I've grown past that life. So he's saying-- - But you can't answer-- - If I answer, you answer it. - Hey, what? - You can't say-- - You don't realize that. - He don't realize it. - You need the fifth, man. - Yeah, that's what you had the door just we felt held and could keep-- - And they kept going, so yeah, but but so you were with this gruel. And when he came back to confident was problems, why? Talk about answer that. I'm gonna send him the job. - Do the old school shit when you used to go to jail, just take the peanut butter and put it in your drawers. - They don't think we're 10 like you mentally incompetent. Just do something besides sit and start talking. Niggas talk too much. - Fuck that, Niggas. - Niggas got too many street, ethnic street rules. And then you find any moment to go back on it. This whole case, the whole reason why it's even brought back up is 'cause of a so-called street niggas. - And his mouth. - And his mouth. - And the internet, thinking that it was gonna come from it. There was an interview, the niggas said in the interview, you know if you keep talking about this, it's a chance that you can be still prosecuted, right? - Right. - In the word. - The niggas said that. - Man, Tom. - Yeah. - A niggah who not from the street, had the Ramana street niggat at yo, you know you talk it some street shit, right? - Man, you're a fucking 16 year old man. It's niggas always powerful. - Their defense is, he was lying for clout. That's the defense they're trying to give a fuck. - Okay, that's cute. - That's cute. - Go clout yourself and that's, then be in jail for clout. - 'Cause they're not charging him with pulling the trigger. - Right. - You in the car, you orchestrated it, you knew what was going on, you like guilty by associations, like you were part of it. - Well, you black and you do stuff like that, you get a lot of time. - You talked about it in the last 20 years, bro. - Well, you said I passed him a gun. - Yeah, you talked about the only five form in the world. - And he's too old to do it big and come home and be okay. - I'm gonna die in there. - See, 10 to what, 10 to 25 or 10 to whatever. You 63, if you do 10, 70, listen, shut up. Go home, go play with your grandkids. Go knit. Do anything, go knit, then get on the show. - Especially! - Especially if you think about it, y'all. The way the streets are, the fact that you're old is a blessing anyway. You're old and free. - So it's like, why the fuck would you want to talk about that shit? But when people say they're close to hell of a drug and all that fame, she's like, "That's not exclusive to kids." - No! - Some people have never felt that kind of attention and it does something for them. - This is old, this is old, this is old, you know what I mean? - Fam, that's, I don't need to blame that. - I don't blame the kid. - Because it's like, yo, I scored eight touchdowns. When I was, yo, fam, Niggas lives be fucked up. And the best part of their lives was in a high school or college, or in a early 20s, whatever the case may be. That's when they, like, that's when they hit, but I was popping after that. - Mm-hmm. - So, again, Niggas's Niggas are playing around. Playing around with real Niggas. - The best part of their life is, you know, those glory is, and they be working on it, but you know what it is, you know what it is? - You know what it is? A lot of Niggas started seeing that they can get money and get interviews and paid off of old stories. - He started that bullshit. - No, you know what it is? - No, he didn't. - You grabbed some dumb ass old stories. - No, no, he didn't. - Niggas wasn't incriminating itself on dream champs. - Dream champs, yeah, now. - Niggas was outside going up. - Remember, faithful to Niggas, that I used to fuck a lot of Niggas. That's why I couldn't really feel dick for a while. Remember that? - What? - What? - I promise y'all, I'm telling it. You know what, listen, first, I'll talk to you. I'm telling it, saying shit up here, and it shocks the room and being in it, I'm a little crazy, you're thinking I'm gonna be in it. - No, no, no, you're the shocker. - No, you're not, you're not. - You wasn't talking about that. That's how I feel feeling. - That court of doofy in his hand. Everybody just so thrown off, got the doofy catcher, and we didn't get my point. Faithful to a dream champs got fucked up, smoke a weed of drinking, and at one point she says, nah, I fuck mad, I fuck mad Niggas when I was a kid. That's why I really don't know why I can't get off on those dick now, 'cause I had so much dick. And the whole room said, God damn, but she was like, hold up. Wait a minute, me and like that, but the demons was done. - Thank you so much. - Faith is big jerky, so we don't speak on that. - What's wrong with fucking a bunch of niggas boys? - Nothing. - I respect them when they do it that way. - In a make-up story. - Yo, I lived, but her point was that she could barely get off or enjoy it because she had too many dicks as a kid, like that's kind of heavy. - When I say kid, I mean 20, I'm not saying too many. - And she might not even be saying like physically, just like she's not good at all. - Yeah, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it. - That's it, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it, that's it. - I love her too, but she's saying it. - You know what I'm talking about that. - You know what I'm talking about? - We don't speak on that. - And the thing about that scene though, like, that's where she fucked up and how she reacted to it, 'cause she gave it up herself. 'Cause when everybody said, you know what I mean? - Y'all believe pop. - That's it. - No, I don't, I don't believe that. Y'all do, y'all believe that? - I don't know. - I never believe that. - Faith Jersey. - Faith's the pop-fuck-ther, now. - Oh, it's not my business. - I never believed that, I've heard shit since that's like-- - After the story that you just said, I mean, maybe? - I don't know, because having a lot of sex is different from cheating on your nigga with his eye. - Maybe they were hubs yet. - Oh, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe they were hubs. - Y'all. - Of course, you know what I mean? You know what I mean, yeah, she fucked. Everybody off camera, of course they said, yeah, she fucked that nigga. - She said it, just like that. - I'm not saying that. - I believe women, I believe women, she said she didn't do it. - Oh, shit. - I never believed that shit. I never believed that, I don't give a fuck. - I'm being honest. - I believe women, too, where are you going, Joey? - I'm, I'm being honest, man, I don't fucking, I don't like that people need a confirmation for nothing. - Facts. - They ain't any of your business. - I believe, she said no, and then he-- - Bigger sure on his face. - Bigger, bigger, bigger, go on. You don't even want me talking-- - She said no, no doubt, no. - That's right, he ain't do it, that's exactly it. - That's the fake, we love you, fake. - Love you, fake, but you know where I do that. - I'm not funny, fake. - Yo, what do you say? - Fake for real, bitch. Everything I've ever heard about fake is they like, she a thorough one, she, you know what I mean? I've never heard really nothing. And so it's far as people that know her. Like we have a couple of neutrals, and she's a thorough one. - Mutual, mutual. - Mutual friends, like, yeah, that's what somebody introduced, people would say that we looked at like all the time, and somebody introduced us on FaceTime in the way. - That's not helping me. (laughs) - Say fuck with you today. - Say fuck with you today. - Yeah. - Say God, say God. - Say God, say God. - Say God, say you as a little light, you know what I mean? - Say God, say God. - She said Mutual, she said Mutual. - She said Mutual. - She said Mutual. - And this conversation is, it sounded yummy. - People say that we look at like, and I don't see it, I want to see a play on Broadway, and Queen Latifah walked up to me from the back. Kiss me a little, she's fake, I love it. - This thing, I hope, she did that. - I can see it, I can see it a little bit. - Yeah, I can see it. - I got a whole lot of stuff out of my face. - Show what you said? - See, that's Jersey too. - I can see it. - I can see it, I can see it. - Y'all, you know I had a show on Wednesday. - I was, I didn't know. - It was so good. - It was coming with your shows or so I could come to 'em. - It was a club with Ohio, I'm not coming there. - I'm not coming there. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Tag that bitch, sold it on Wednesday, I was shocked. And this is soon to know why I would come out on Wednesday. - Girl, you heard. They're gonna come out on any day. - You know what's happening there? I appreciate that, but what's happening there? - Ohio fucks with me, it's really the strangest thing, but the entire Ohio fucks with me. Why are you still surprised that like I swear to you no lie since you've been on the show Anybody that come to talk to me about anything with the show like you always mention your name They'll pick spots but but every single person at some point talk about and when you're not here and they just come up here They looking for you. Yeah, I told you I'm in the gym the other day. This is true story and the nigga like yo, man Let me get that one. I said stop playing me. I call it right now He's like yo, seriously, did you call it? Yeah, I called like yo, my man. Did you for much? Did you like that? He called you and that with a random nigga on the phone. Yo, look here and they do that I'm just like yo, my man. So before we get a close yo, we would hang out shit with each other before you would ever even need a call I slide this niggas but it's okay though. It's okay though. It's okay for me I feel like that's naturally what they gonna do. Exactly. That's our relationship and for family or cousins of everything They they don't understand their relationship. They don't get it. Yeah, they don't do that. They don't see that. I'm up there with some strangers and I'm up here with just that off mic we don't do that. Yeah, you know shit Yeah, that's just so I don't know if anything is more like a family atmosphere it's not like that and that's the thing too with me I'm not one of them bitches. I'm gonna leave here filling this respect and I'm like, well, say I'm gonna say something to niggas You know what I'm saying? So it's not I wouldn't be coming back up here just You know what I'm saying like I feel a way about shit, you know what I'm saying? I'm going to pop it I'm gonna say what I gotta say and if it's dead deep we gonna do it off the camera, but that's what I step into Even when I did have a little issue everybody was like, oh, we ain't really on that you know what I mean? So I felt like out out of the circle for having an issue with a nigger. You know this harbor. Yeah Everybody know now I'm split everybody know this story. I was very careful. It's just snitcher. I make my money industry. I make my living industry So I don't have the luxury of calling the police like other people So if my baby daddy punches me in the face. Can I call the police about the dv? That's debatable depending on who you talking to with street people You know what I mean? I remember at the time I like I wouldn't even call the fucking police to report my car school and like it was that you know for me now I still have so many negative Views on police.
