The podcast episode features Joe Budden and his panel, including Flip, Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, and others, engaging in humorous and candid discussions. The show begins with a disclaimer emphasizing its entertainment-only nature. The panel jokes about Parks being stranded in Turks and Caicos, leading to a debate on whether people genuinely try to return home or simply accept delays. They also parody emotional communication, mocking passive-aggressive behavior in relationships.
Joe Budden announces his new true crime show, "Crime in America," and the panel praises his success. A heated debate follows about a Joe Jackson documentary, questioning whether his abusive methods were necessary for his sons' greatness, with some arguing the end doesn't justify the means. The panel also discusses a scandal involving leaked private photos, condemning revenge porn and extortion.
The conversation shifts to entrepreneurial etiquette, critiquing a designer who publicly posted a celebrity's DM, advising that private business interactions should remain confidential. Bill-splitting among couples is debated, with opinions on customary practices and how to handle unexpected expenses like expensive bottles.
Finally, the group debates whether MySpace could make a comeback, with some citing nostalgia and community-building potential, while others argue it's outdated in an era of algorithm-driven platforms. The episode blends humor, social commentary, and personal anecdotes, maintaining a lively and unfiltered tone throughout.

The line is all the way around the corner. They're still coming in. It used to be me and six people in the club, they'd be saying that shit. Before you understood the club dynamics of why it was a line outside and nobody inside all those of the days. You're prompt going to the club? Prompt everywhere in my life-ish, everywhere, even the club. Are you trying to shoot at me? No. No, you're shooting at me. No, you're always on time. Yeah, it's in this, it's amazing. You're opening the club up, carrying a brace for the DJ. Free before it's in. Oh shit. And you had the broken jokes. Yeah, I ain't mad at it. It kept us on Friday. I wasn't in this. Yeah, we've been here for like three hours y'all, so we've been on fire with jokes, man. Parks, Parks is in Turks. He told us he was going on vacation, him and his wife. Hey, Ram. Parks is in Turks. Quick weekend trip was supposed to come back Monday. And in Monday, he hit us and said that he was stranded in Turks. He would not be able to make it back due to whatever the hell he said. Do the Turks. Do the Turks, yeah, do the Turks. Turks, I'll get Turks. No one ever gets stuck in Boulder, Colorado. Ever. Ever. And there's a lot of people in Turks right now. A lot of people in Turks right now, but Parks said he's stuck into a Friday. Oh no. Until Friday. That's what he said. Oh, that's nice. Okay. That's a good one. Yeah, Parks. You pull the move, boy. Listen, I blame these guys. All that fucking prove your worth shit. Holy fucking prove your values. You didn't work, buddy. But hopefully he's enjoying his vacation. If anybody deserves one of this parts. That's a fact. A friend of mine, my homegirls. Actually, in the playing right now, I had a back from the Turks. Back over here, back home. Friend of yours and your jersey. Yeah. Friend of mine. Friend of mine. On a playing currently. As we speak right now. That's probably her right there. You didn't know. The playing is up there. I have a working theory. Is you trying to shoot it again? I was asking a question. A friend of mine. I tend to really make it sound like something else. You tend to run. I'm not even saying that. Let it go. Let it go. But I'll be the determiner on if I'm good. I have a working theory about people that get stranded on vacation. Because I've heard this story now from about six to seven different people in the last eight months. Hey, I flew somewhere out of country. Flites has fucked up. I'm stranded now. Actually, my BM just told me that. Save that for another part. But yeah, I keep hearing this line. And my theory is this. The people that get stranded. They never really trying their best to be un-stranded, right? Like, I'm a workaholic. I know what day is the gig is. If I get stranded and the schedule is off, I'm busing my ass to try to make it back. But the people that get stranded. They normally are at the mercy of the airline that they flew on, right? So like if you're on Southwest and Southwest cancels for four days or a week. Then they say some stupid shit like Parks is saying, I can't get back to Friday. Rather than doing what I always do, which is pulling up the nose. Pulling up the website that does comparative pricing. Yeah, I pull up the website. I put in where I'm trying to go. And any airline that has a flight, I buy it. And then I come home. That's what people try to do. Like this plane's flying right now. But some people don't want to dig in a pocket and buy the new flight. Actually, Flip just did this too. Last time he was on vacation. Yo, I'm stuck out here for two weeks. Well, yeah, if you just going with a gun to airline or whatever the fuck airline you was on. And all the flights was mess. I know you could have purchased a flight and got on. But nobody wants to do that. I didn't know that. I'm not shooting a lot of money. Two things. One, it depends on where you stranded at. That'll kind of influence your motivation a little bit. That's true. That's one. And two, sometimes that other flight home might mean going somewhere that's nowhere near you. Like it's a plane going over there. It's a plane going to Houston. Then you get there and got to wait for a little bit and then catch your flight to Jersey. It might not be the same, you're non-stop coming straight here. Yeah, I had to flew into Houston and drove to Jersey. I'm getting home. I've done it. I'm getting home. I've been stranded out of the country and I just want to get state-side. Yo, you seeing the movie the day after tomorrow? The dad, flood, daughter, for us to go, I got to get to my- That's me. That's me. I'm getting home. I'm getting home to my- I don't care if you man, they're good. I'm trying to rush me and I'm trying to rush when I'm saying. I'm down with you. It depends. I wasn't saying kids in January for new years. You're another one pulled that, I'm stuck a lot. I got into those lines, boy. Fuck like while the shit fucking up like he think that we down with him He like oh hey, oh, there's no work. Oh, looking around. We like young left. He was animating He like oh shit. I tried And we and we on the phone with parks who don't even have the decent sea to be in a quiet part of turks and act like He's missing work. He on a beach The wind is whistling in the background way to go parks love you buddy Man, he figured it out though. He was dedicated. Oh, that's gangster. He said. Yeah, it was dedicated Gangsters the trick all y'all. Well, you just did the same shit when you go to your little white country to be business We're all first. Yeah. Oh, y'all Only person probably get back when he said he getting back as freeze. I don't think freeze got stuck in Jamaica when he went out there Free. Yeah, but y'all said I pulled the move a fucking court. Oh, yeah, you did that. You didn't go. I'm sitting in a parking lot, but I pulled the move Yeah, you definitely pull the move without Yeah, yeah, I wanted to go to my car for seven hours in the airport yesterday for done Where were we going? Put something in her name I would say if she could be saved But all this hero shit we we've gargled out with the playing Let's shit out of boat Nah, like I can't swim but she drowned in I help That's a great point though When you sit in emergency seat on the plane And ask you all some questions Are you laughing? Are you laughing for the leg room? Yeah One time I told the truth though Like I'm not going to help these people You said you were a good woman I'm definitely going to be the first person to jump off In the event something happens And there was like well if that's your answer We have to move here I said I bet I'll help the people I'll hold the door while all our lives are in danger Right after you I don't think nobody can say nobody But I'm not If I'm the one responsible for the door we all dead I don't know how to open that shit When they talk about when they tell you the instructions How to get the parachute out of the seat We here break open the door I'm not listening to none of that shit You ain't lying And all You should don't fall down the mask I don't know how to do none of that shit Put yours on first and didn't help your name I'm going to put mine on Don't you worry about it? Don't you worry about it? Have you done what you did? Shit, shit, shit You're a victim wrong one You end up at the mercy of whatever crowd you're in At the time of the threat Yeah Which is scary I'm relying on a fucking citizen if we're on the plane I need a door open now You can get stuck with some idiot You can get stuck with the insurrection crew All of them niggas out there look like complete idiots Every last one of them that took off I don't give you at PTO You niggas look stupid up there They did And I finally got to the last few episodes The Widows Bay and came to the same conclusion Oh, this is a town just full of idiots I ain't seen it I ain't seen it No, I cut it off after episode nine I wasn't Russian in the 10 It's only 10 episodes But I had a brand new episode of Furious on the side I wasn't about to keep watching Widow Furious Furious on Hulu Is it scary? I feel real good. I got a lot of next level shit. Next level shit. So this was you was telling us last year right you was telling us last year You just needed a couple more months. This was this with the one you were cooking if you were talking about So a couple of months past now boy. What are we doing champ? You look good. You're flipping you know you know I guess you got to go on the road now to a lie right like to do the shows you got to meet with the locals Yeah, that means unfortunately like work because you got to do work see how he said that up early Yeah, you got to go with work is no matter what work is you know, then you have to do a vacation to come on point No, he got to go to New Mexico first. That's kind of crazy now. You think about it. No soda. Hey Minnesota Don't forget me. Wyoming a lot of crime in Wyoming. Man shit going on in Montana cuz cuz the flips started putting boots on the ground Investigating stories and all of that different cities with something pop or swagger Jack. That's what it look like. Oh, I didn't even think about that Yeah, he could do that. He could do that. I bet it's okay. Can we look out for each other, you know me? I supported me support me. It's what we big time, you know me y'all work it out Yeah, I'm open to what you saying, but if what you saying is true that me and then Mark swagger Jack Flip because mark is the one that's trying to get into his investigative journalism bag Brian McKnight Cheyenne Bryant fake college dude. I mean that you saw what flip was doing When he was at Murray, Bertrand The host talking and Natalie none Everything one always prestigious So why did you throw that glass Did you ever think you be spinners when I'm talking to cops and stuff? I haven't spoken any police of Mark. Ain't that what you said that you'd be talking to the police local No, the local police like the beaks cops the ones that know you by first a deep Was it Malik open? Big crime in America To check it out. Hopefully y'all enjoyed it. I can't wait to have the support of my brother Even if this is what the support looks like I'll still take it No, we do it. I just lastly you know, he wants us more involved into a TV coverage I think every episode we should bring it up with you. Yeah. Yeah, we got you. Oh, we got you big up That would require your whole watch No, we're about it System Thomas softly. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate that man. Oh, what's going on some other new shit is coming out by the way You see as Joe Jackson documentary coming out Am I wrong for feeling fucked up about this? Depends on what you feel fucked up. I don't want it to come out. Why? Cuz he's a fuck them dude and I feel like they're gonna make them into a hero Joe Jay. I guess Marlon is making it Marlon is executive producing it so you know he gonna take all the ass whoop is out Marlon, mine I mean the ass who have Marlon the youngest Yeah, but Marlon was the worst one. He might have got all ass whoop is The youngest don't get the ass whoop they were successful by that time. Yeah, by that time We got the formula down Can you tell Joe Jackson's story without the the beatings? See, I don't think you can You commend him a lot of that's kind of his thing I is the same way I turn it Yeah, cuz I turn her had has a recording career outside of Tina Turner But you can't really tell the I turn her story without talking about what he did to Tina Turner Yeah, don't make give a fuck about the I turn the story before Tina. That's sure that yeah, I turn a review ain't that interested Amazing song. I ain't here anybody try to get me to K-4 But what I'm saying is if if all media outlets tell you what to think of somebody did and you're not gonna really think nothing else Of them nobody talks about his greatness outside of that They only talk about him in relation to his is that was it cuz it ain't a karaoke maybe one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century If not number one Not an interesting guy, but nothing interesting to say about it Right, a baby-faced dog, probably actually a baby-faced dog could be interesting See, I'm told we know I'm telling myself so my I know I'm telling myself today I know it's important talent ain't what the whole of let's take it out entertainment land for a minute Cuz this is interesting to me what Mark is saying how many people on earth do you think just live Completely bland and uninteresting life. I don't think there's a whole shit load of them. I think it's leverage though I think it's levels so so that so not in comparison to the amount of people on earth But to what the masses will call interesting as a totally exactly. What that's where you need producers and writers and people to come pull the interesting out Kind of like me and flip duty all every week like you need professionals to do that like that's just not on humans You know Cory That shit off, you know Would you would try to try all Cory being Spencer's just buying buying shit What that story you have to craft man to know that shit? Well, just Spencer. No, it wasn't Spencer sears No What's the story that now now got to think of it? It was Spencer's what Spencer's got Spencer's head for all the futuristic shit. They had to fucking no craftmatic. Oh, you talk about sharper image sharpener image Yes Sharpen image when you were just well, let me speak for me when I was young that was the place they had all the shit I wanted to be able to buy one day I couldn't afford facts. And they had all that shit. I'll let you use it like Demo totally niggas that shit that you just didn't even need pencils that re-sharpen by itself. I'll type the dumb shit in there Anyway, I used to go in there used to let you use the shit while it was on display Anyway, that's too long. I didn't speak louder take that fucking gruff out your voice Bear ass Anyway, what's going on Joe Jackson some markets disappointed about Joe Jackson? Yeah I just don't think it's gonna be interesting even though the way they they teased it didn't seem like they was gonna leave out the bad shit You can bro. You can't I want to see how much they selling you on the watch it And even the Michael movie had some of the bad shit maybe not to the degree that we needed it, but yeah Even the Jackson's know they gotta put some of that in because I wasn't a focal point with the Michael shit But it was just a battle between him and his father this if it's about Joe you can't tell Joe Jackson story without ass weapons That's true. It's not possible and again, back to what we were saying. What do people know you for? Like in his case whip it at That's what he's known, but we've argued up here About everything that's true But some people up here took a stance and his greatness like you don't get the greatness out of them if he wasn't whipping they had Oh, you said that you said that. I was trying to spare you I was trying to spare you You don't know people up here I'm never that I was trying to spare you. Oh, then that was us Come out come on out being French nigga. We we I stood on the other side, but So
I don't think you necessarily had to physically beat them to get the greatness out of them. No, I don't. Well, this story, man, the pressure that he applied, the constant practicing, regardless of you don't want to admit it, that led to one of the greatest groups of all time and the greatest thing of all time. He said to himself when he was alive, even though he didn't like it, this is what he stated. So, we always talk about whatever it is, let's show us another group that went through the same thing without the ass women that became as successful as them, then we can compare. Oh, you said if they were. I'm saying show us. I mean, no addition. See, this is why I wonder if I should have went to the cold show. We are here breaking down. The ass women part, though, I would ask your question about the cold show too. I don't think you get the greatness out of them without the ass women, but I'm like, it's okay. Maybe we need the greatness. Easy to say now. I'd rather not have Michael Jackson work in Circus City, you know what I mean, be alive. She didn't get his ass women. No. No, no, no. So, I got choose the ass women from Michael. Yes. Yes. He, he, he, he, when he started selling all that, yeah, no, yeah, some selfish fucked up people, man. I mean, he made it man in the mirror and all that. He did. No, but not from ass women. I mean, kind of. No, man. Kind of. I mean, drugs, self-esteem, surgeries, fire, all that shit came from the ass women. Listen, man. No, man. It's a lot. One thing that came from ass women is in that. Why didn't you go to the cold show? For art, they got in the socialist museum. I bet you was worse than the museum with all of the fucking cold niggas on bullshit. Like, I just stand in that, in art to the point that he said, I said, I still, I do believe that. In art, you need the rest got to go to something. Sounds great. Yeah. I agree. Now, I'm not saying that what that the rest has to be, but the true mark of greatness for every artist is what they were able to endure overcome or express while they were in turmoil. Now, while the sun is shining. I'm with you, but to be human is to have that turmoil. So the turmoil is going to come and art going to come. I'm just saying that don't mean like niggas make great art when they dad leave them, but you can't just leave your kid and be like, look, he's going to be a great rapper one day. Like, you can't do, or you know, he's going to be running back. Like, no, you got to do the best you can, and when the fuck them should happen, life will happen. I'm just saying if I could choose, you know. A great rap career ain't never brought back a dad. Hey, y'all, y'all think you're missing dad didn't hear y'all miss dad. Hey, hey, you have enough money and rap for the dad to pop back up like, hey, you're new album. I'd never seen that. Sorry. I never seen it. Tell me what. Yeah. And maybe Jay-Z. She got a little successful with any popped up. You can't tell you what we heard that we didn't even know Jay-Z dad that's fucked up. That's fucked up. It's crazy. Don't do that to Benzino. We fuck with Benzino. That's my man. Damn, I see. You said only ice. I don't know Benzino to be a Debbie. That's not him. That's him in his door. I'm sending pop back up. I don't know if I have to pop back up and play. Yeah. Yeah. You know what you said if you said if you don't say nothing, you're gonna put into it. I see you. He's still brother. He's still brother, nigga. We cool, man. He's still a little. He in the weight room. Well, that hairless shit ain't gonna fly when fisticas start. Nah. Nah. You're gonna take your shirt off and get away from it. Look right out. I'm gonna hold that. Oh, shit. And that's a new perceived up for you. Benzino. Back to our office. Back to our office. Nah, that's not. No way. Well, perceived up, perceived up, someone that may not be in up, but because of something you've said on the podcast, an audience will assume that this person is your off. I got at least 30 of them. Yeah. Y'all have some too. They're out there. Yeah, that's true. That's true. Like, we got a hot topic on the board right now. I don't know why we trying to push it back down with three, but I mean, it does involve some of us. So a lot of hot topics involved. Somebody's up up here. So I mean, I can't bring it up. Oh, shit. Show me. Show me. I'll say it. Nigga, fuck them. You're out. Slip. With my off end. I'm asking. I don't know what you're talking about. Nah. Some shit about rolling, man. Let me see it. Let me take my shade. Oh. Yeah. Shit about rolling. Okay. I found a tweet. I found a tweet. I found a tweet. I found a tweet. I found a tweet. She says, There's a set up in the room. The fact that he allegedly sent her pictures of himself in a G string. This is only the beginning. I wish I could unsee this. Yeah, we've reached out to his team. If you live in your life and you get caught in a thong, it's your business until the person you trusted with these pictures is made.
- How did you input it online? - Facts. - Well, there's a public business. - But it's also illegal, the problem is that's illegal. Revenge porn, extortion, blackmail, those, and that's what their role as team is going after them for. - Well, I hope he's successful in it. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I hope he wins that. - I'm out of fan and under that shit. - Not at all. - Yeah, you'll see these pictures when we are together again. I ain't sending them to your phone. I don't know, me and the leopard, the leopard shorts. - Illegal, illegal, I'm sorry, I need me to cut you out. Illegal recording, revenge porn, and extortion, or three things. Also, what's not, he didn't even know she was being a recorder. - I can't, I can't 100% confirm that, but based on the charges that are being made. - That's what I'm saying from the beginning. - Yeah, it sounds that he didn't even know. - Yeah. - It's not like, let's make a video and then it slipped into the wrong hand. - Oh, the fuck is alert and pegged. - That's the other thing. - That would take all my fucking concentrate. (laughing) - Yeah, I wouldn't be able to think about it. - Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. - Turn the camera, turn the camera. (laughing) - Yeah, yeah. - Yo, this nigga. - I'm just trying to find some life humor in a real unfortunate situation. I meant, I meant rolling rolling. It's super cool, I hope he, I hope he gets through this. Thoughts and prayers rolling, and this is fucked up. This could happen to anybody out there. - So I mean, yeah. - And he wasn't being picked in the video, by the way. That's another thing, Tasha corrected yesterday on her video. She said after, because of the legal ramifications, she didn't show the video. She initially promised on her stream, but she did kind of watch the video and kind of narrate it to her audience, which is, you know, and she says that he was not being pegged. I don't want to get into the graphic. - It's fine, buddy. - Yeah, it's fine. - But whatever you need to peg somebody, it wasn't there. And I think it was important for, and according to her role, we'll see him make that clear. 'Cause people would say there was a dude in the camera, not true, and that he was being pegged in the camera. Also not true. - God. - But what was happening in the camera? - I think there was some digital play. - All right, what's the next one? I don't know what digital play is. - Did the fuck is that digital play? - I don't know what that is. - Did you know what your digits are? - No, fingers. - Oh, did you, did you thought I meant like computer? - Yeah. - I didn't know what the fuck you were doing. - Y'all really should have went to school. (laughing) - If you need to lay, y'all can go back. - Thank you for this. Thank you for that. (laughing) - Let's find invent new ways to call us stupid. - Let's see, let's see, let's see, let's see. A sat rocky. A sat rocky reaches out to a dude on the internet, likes his work. This is a dude that read does logos. Reimagines logos. He reaches out, he DMs. And he says, "Good morning, Allen." How much do you charge for brand logo revisions? Assuming you will be willing to do so, I would be honored. Love your work. God bless. Sounds very normal. I'm like what you would do when you're a fan of somebody's. - Yeah. - The dude takes that and posts it. - Screams out. - And he was excited about it. But he posted it publicly to which A sat rocky responded and said, "This is just this tasteful." Well, I guess we won't be working best of luck, buddy. Yep. And I see this happen quite a bit with talented people on the internet that get to just be excited when certain people reach out. You gotta remember, a lot of people is fan still. So the famous person reads out, "Hey, I'm a fan of your work. "You wanna post it publicly." They don't know that they cutting those despite their backs. It's very short-sighted. No, they are. They could be about it. There's no entertainer that wants to see their private messages posted for public consumption. - Ever. - No, I'm not disagreeing. I think that they almost look at it like an ad or like promo, like if Rocky fucker with me then the common man gonna run to get the logos done. - But you know what a better ad would be? - Post the work. - Doing the work. - I'm not disagreeing. - I'm not disagreeing a lot. - Letting the work take place. - Yeah, that's what I'm saying. - Letting the celebrity, once the work is done, be the one to talk about how amazing this experience was and working with you, look at this product, I guy. Even being able to put certain things on your resume, even if the celebrity never says the word. - Like I don't get, I don't, I mean I do understand it. I just am on the other side of it. - I agree. - People get so excited. - You can DM some of these people in this community who I wanted to do work with. Some of y'all recommended the person to me. And as soon as I did the follow, they posted that I followed them. So now people are watching the interaction and it seemed like a good brother and I wanted his help on something. But like now, I'm like if I know you're gonna do that screenshot, just me following you and then make a whole story about it, then that makes me think every interaction we have is gonna be like that. And that makes me not wanna rock with you at all. - Thanks. - I'm gonna do it. - Make it not wanna do no business. - You fucking yourself, I agree. - And then other people see that. Oh, that's how that person move. Now I don't wanna fuck with you. - Right. - You really are making it harder for yourself. - And I think people have good intentions. - Yeah, I think people are really like souped up about it and kind of put it out to the rest of the world. Almost like a, like y'all I'm working with this person, I'm working with that person, but down necessarily noter ramifications could have. - And I saw this happen recently with a young lady I followed with. She was talking about she needed some money for college and I guess Shaq reached out and offered to pay, yeah, after how much she said a number and he paid it. And I guess her understanding of what she, thought she needed was different. So she posted the message and then went on a post about what she really needed and how she was gonna go double back and ask him. - And she posted it, she said he was really upset about it, spoke to her about it by the scenes. I don't blame him, she apologized. But that's something that I don't know for an apology ever unknowns. See, I don't, I really don't understand that one because here y'all already have had the conversation and he's like, he sent some bread over to help you out. If there's another, you need to reach back. You have some level of some line of communication already. Go and use that same line of communication and do whatever you did. But the point and she report, I mean, she screenshot the DM exchange, then she went screenshot like the bill breakdown showing how much she really needed. Posted that up and then said y'all tag Shaq. - Yeah. - Yeah. - And she was weird. - Yeah, it's disgusting. - I didn't understand it. - In my opinion. - Any advice y'all can give entrepreneurs out there to avoid things like this from happening? - Pop posting the message, yeah. Don't post the message, do the work, seal the deal first. A lot of times if someone is a fan of your work and you're receptive and you work out a deal, a celebrity will post your work. They may even tag you. And if they don't, like you said, you know what I mean? It builds a rapport. They may invite you to an event or somewhere where you could be able to capture a picture and then write under the comments. You know, this guy hit me up and, you know what I mean? So you gotta be able to seal the deal. A lot of times you niggas, you know. - And a lot of times, don't be afraid to act. - She knows it's like her face. - Yeah, yeah. - It's a way to do it. I'm just a fan of not putting my business out publicly anyway. So even if I was working with the celebrity, it would just be under arrest. - That's a fact. - You know what it is real quick too. - Same. - You know how when people out of the past away or something happens, somebody would take a picture of the conversation and text conversation and DM and stuff like that, yeah. And it's not until I came up here with you guys who are talking about it, I'm like, oh, that shit look crazy. - It looks crazy. - At some point, at one point, like when somebody passed away, I wanted to post something, you know. I guess that's the error that I came from in my mind. - That's what I never understood. - I guess you're just showing the relationship, showing that I really knew the person. - You really showing the world or bragging to the world. Y'all knew him. - Yeah, it's just a flex. It's a flex. I knew the better than you did. But being up here and hearing how Joe talk about it, that's one of the things I can say that influenced me. Joe's like, man, that shit is corny. I was just about to do some shit like that too. And I looked at it and I thought about it and I saw somebody else do it 'cause you know how the outcome of the work. And it does look corny. And then you act like you talking to them. Y'all miss you, man. You just spoke to me yesterday. It's like, I, so I mean, the whole performance. - But back to your point about the entrepreneurs. Don't be afraid to like, once you get into the point where we are, we're gonna do the work. Ask them, hey, can you credit me for this? Or is it cool when you post this? Can you tag me or can you just, some of them will do it. - Yeah. - But don't just don't be afraid to ask, but at least get to the point where you're actually secure at the job first. And that goes not just with somebody reaching out to you for work, but a deal you get. Like if they reach out to you and say, I remember I had got, which was a long time ago. No, no, no, this was years, years, years, years ago. It was, I never did an audition before. I never did an audition. - Wait, hold on, hold on. - Hold on, let me, yeah, go ahead, go ahead. - No, no, come on, just don't move too fast. I just want to, you audition for something. - Yes. - I audition for something. I'm about to tell you what it was. I'm just excited. - Good too. - This was a long, this probably was 2012. - Where the, where the part get? - Back when MTV too was revamping all of the shit. - Oh, this was visual. This was, it was a show. - Yeah, Mark. - Mark, come on, get the show. - Here, Mark, be in the top. - I know, Mark, Mark, be in the top. But again, I ain't no no better. So when, actually, Crystal sent it to me. Like, y'all, they're doing a new show. - Exactly. They look down, I don't know. - I'm not trying to be down. I'm just telling you who it was. They were like, they were reaching out to basically, they were seeing people who had any kind of movement on social media, so they were just bringing them in. And I thought that,
Man, oh this shit was a done deal. I don't know again. I'm not from the entertainment world. I'm telling people, y'all yeah That's it. Yeah, I got this over here Probably cause you told everybody When you tweeted about the nail this audition He worried, freeze in the basement Yeah, you shot yourself in the foot telling everybody I know the audition tape was slamming I will I will Can I preference this a little bit though? I didn't even know what was going on It was like you'll just read this that'd be a lot of time. I didn't know like the you need to be animated I read that shit just like this. Oh shit, y'all listen Yeah, next up, we have such and such coming from this right here doing this episode and then then we're gonna be doing this and then There was like All right. Thank you Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. What was the show? Oh god, it was some new shit Yo, yo, yo, hey, I'm like wait. It's just a sit when we do a second page. No, no, no, that's okay Yeah, when you get home delete them What a guy man I just love the fact that he told us The free bottom up for even telling us that he knew we wasn't With that the last audition you went on yep, my choice Have you been invited to like speak anywhere else? Yeah, no on on the camera one camera. Yes, and they good Oh No, they got never audition for nothing. What you want me to watch your interview bag when you go for a job Like with subway school with some way school you'll come in What did you say to Jared you mean me y'all me Interview is not I mean what did they say I don't remember they had to make a sense ago, bro. No, I never worked in a subway Did you fold your hands what you're talking to him like this like I don't I was 20 years ago So y'all had no audition for this show right you just kind of came and sat down. Yeah, work that toys a rust. How did you know? What you were gonna get what you expected to get you know shit But people keep saying I keep hearing that what what Joe button was in a rut jump I keep hearing that Mark it wasn't about experience at the time it was about seeing some these are two dudes that I told years in advance They they should be able to do this like they have like some Untaped stuff that they should look into just just talking to him regular like hearing the stories and stuff you do it Yeah, this makes it at least for y'all friendship. I think part of it is the friendship. He's all jokes aside He said this shit for years like I started a podcast before that I didn't want to do because he said something Like I don't want to do that. Let's start the issue is going to do it too, but he procrastinated man. So would you go to the podcast before this? What's he just this is a joke story? I can't tell God has his way of making everything come together man no matter what you're playing is for yourself You like You know You get to talk without a barbershop You was in that barbershop more times than me You was in that but what you doing helping your man you was in there. I was in there looking when the nigger was smoking hot nigger That's Why tell you talk when you talk about smoking hot shit boy Be smoking hot It's like 9-1-1 wings like it's level It's atomic No, I don't know what you're good. Listen. Oh now it's time for parks. I tell you one thing buddy Hey parks, you might have bet your ass buddy by Friday. We're back to double down on it Issues going with Lauren Betts for more than nine and a half points and rebounds Angel Reese for more than 15 and a half points Camilla Cardoso for more than eight and a half rebounds and Jackie Young for more than four and a half Let's go don't forget to put in your slip right this very second see if you can hit a slick Don't forget if you download price picks the app right this very second and use promo code JBP you get $150 instantly when you play your first five dollar lineup. That's right price picks is getting to the money on Only on price picks the official partner of the NBA All right time to break down split in the bill more vacation shit Queen Najib was somewhere friend of the show Queen Najib came here was absolutely spectacular and amazing shout out to her Queen Najib was Streaming and I'm assuming she was on vacation that didn't look like outback steakhouse that she was at And the bill came while she was on stream. That's why I don't stream. Yeah, I'd be honest with you I don't stream because y'all gonna see the shit I do and the shit that happens in real time. I can't edit it out So the bill came it came to her and it was a large discussion at the table about how they were gonna come up with this This this money or who was gonna pay the bill or where they're gonna split the bill There were couples there. There's audio. I'm gonna find the audio and play it I don't know why in 2026. We still have to discuss bill etiquette, but we do so I know why Why highest hell everybody got it right now I go out to keep your ass home. I'm with you I'm with you 100% definitely and definitely don't get to invite another couple True and I'm not talking about them because I'm sure they've had it, but let's talk about it. Here we go So yeah, we did a split it by couple Thank you for being a friend Don't sing over. I'm trying to hear you man in the background At this point in the video they pulled the calculate out too much talking Yeah, we could I mean, I mean, I don't know And this is when they outside before the stream cut off You got to listen closely to hear the tea in there What are you talking about?
I love I'm not on content. (laughing) By now you get to just anybody fighting the background. She says we're on stream, they cut it off. That's that. What did we take away from this? And how can we help America again? America needs a mother. America needs guidance. That's a father. Like dogs. It was too much talking. If you going out, in my opinion, and how it was, if you go out and there's four couples or three couples, or whatever the case may be, customarily how I was raised, the men pick up the bill and divide it equally. Yeah. So the bill's $1,000 as there's four couples. It's 250 a pot. That's just, I don't give a fuck. If you had a water, if you had, a fucking Louis XIII, that's just customarily how it happened. I'm not even doing that, but I'm not even doing that. Yeah, I'm paying the whole thing, yeah. This is, and I'm not talking about you. I know you carry a post. This is what said when these talks come up. Like what you saying is what, like men have learned, what you're supposed to say when these talks come up. I've seen it with my own eyes too many times. Niggas got to take a phone call. Niggas got a pee, they ain't there for a man long. It's piss ever. Niggas sit there and start just looking around. Niggas won't even fake grab for the wallet. So I mean, yeah, men know what to say. But when put into that situation and the chase account ain't looking in a certain way, men get silent. Yeah, men get silent. They forget men rules, men rule. I think men need to stay the ass home. You know what their account look like before you get in the U, but before you get in the car, you know what their account look like. And if you and your chick are together and y'all don't got it and y'all ain't discussed this prior to sitting down, don't go. But what happens is because I agree with that. The only thing I can think of sometimes what happen though is say we all go in the dinner and then I'm going to say flip the size. He want to buy a bottle of something that costs $1,000. And now we divide that forward. You see what I'm saying? If something OD happened where I could reasonably expect that we was going to spend $300 on dinner. And now suddenly that $300 turn to $550 because we divide that bottle of four ways. It's not fair, but to me, you're asking my opinion. You got to eat it. But if something got on drink, I don't know. I'm saying that to the question of like don't go out of view and got it. I might have budgeted for what was like in the bounds of reasonable. So what do you do as the guy that don't drink when Mark's situation comes up? I split the bill all the time. No matter what, I don't know what it is. So what happens with me is and the people that have been out with me, they know when the bill comes, I don't drink. I had three over here and drinks costs. We in New York City Metro, that shit costs. I just split the bill. But in that instance that Mark is talking about, if you don't have it and you budgeted $300 and now because this nigga ordered a bottle of Louis Trail or whatever the bill is $600, it's a conversation. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? It's a conversation, yo dawg. Where should that come out to? For the people out there listening, where should that conversation take place? No, no, I didn't pay the bill. Somebody come to the bill. No, that's not true, because you might not have it to go outside yet. But if you know that that happens once the bill comes and you're amongst friends, then my friend will be like, yo dawg, what did that all of a sudden? If you know you ain't got to like the second flip orders that bottle, that Louis XIII bottle that you know what it's going to cost. Yo, yo dawg. Yo, listen, I ain't plan for that. Shit, that's more podcast to do talk. Should happen. Nobody sees it when he orders that bottle. The guy that is on fuck shit, people talking, grooving, that's true, that guy told the waiters lean in, you don't see it to let you hit the table, but when that shut comes and that's your man, yo bro, I ain't fucking with that. You on that. Yeah. Listen, we talking about this Queen Naja shit, my first beef is with the waitress, because she handed the bill to Queen Naja. That's all for ready. She is. Wow. She might have recognized it. That's a woman. Oh, that's a woman. She's right. I give it to the famous person. Too proud if I was a wait. No, no, no, no. I don't want to give it to a man. on the check. Sorry, Nancy. I don't want to be around on people, bro. I know. Maybe it's me, I'm not trying to be funny and none of that, but I grew up with a bunch of people that I was in the street. So we didn't really have those, and so I got those lessons from that. I'll say, I got lessons from that till I never really experienced that. But if you grew up on the other side, with like the people that your friends were serving in the community, like they knew we had the other victims. The victims. No, I was just saying to my, I'm just. That's where my experience came from. The victims experience though, we push that poison, but we. Dad, I, I, I, I, I, I'm struggling. You know, that divvied up. Why are you out here? Some flies. I just learned crazy from that. Like, we're not doing under that shit. We're not. Don't come ask me over $1,300 either way. If I'm paying it or you paying it either way, if I'm paying it, don't interrupt me pulling out your little, your little capital one card. If I'm paying it, some hassle going on. 13, huh? He's some of that back, big dog. Yeah, I was cranked up. I think 13 hundred is a fair number to start hassling. Give me that number. No, I depend on many people. I looked around at the barfuckin' sweet at the jazzy shit, when the barfuckin' Jack came. I was glued to this thing. Boy, boys. I didn't know it was. It is. I go down with you. Darryl off your show. No, no, no, no, no. That Jack came. These barfuckers in the suite were singing sunshine. The worst jazzy song ever. It was something. You know what I don't worry about, man. I know girls like it so shit. Yeah. And now you can't interrupt. You can't. Now because you're corny. You can't interrupt nobody watching the show. Just say, hey, man. Hey, hey, hey. Look, y'all. That's what I'm saying, man. It came. Look what came, y'all. Look, y'all. I just went to give it, man. It's fine. And that's just, yeah, it's fine. It's you know, it's like a lie, right? I probably'm not lying. It don't matter. You left, you, you, you, you, you, the last one there. You left, fucking the million. That's got to be what I'm saying in front of me the whole show is what I'm saying it didn't get the sleep the whole time Going free No, no, no, no, no, it's fucking five six thousand Collectively the sweet and the food was five six no, no, no, no, no, no, no That's why I said oh, yeah, that's cool when I get the sweet I'm getting food. Of course I ain't about to be in here looking parched No, I'm a great all that you bring out all the juices and pick them all let's go Fuck you talk. That's the worst thing in the world and it's sweet still looking like you ain't supposed to be you got you got to get the Cabana, I mean you can't go to the resort no cabana. I'm with you. I hit a nigga foot of fucking all Chris Brown Usher tick is this week and hit my mage tomorrow. You want a sweet? I'm sweet I want to see you go learn what you get sweet you get sweet happy they'll learn you because it's another concept you're gonna want to go to That's what happened with the private jet you when I got stuck in turks and the only way I can get back with the private jet Took a private jet guy back. I was like you know what that ain't so bad Why we flying the other way Why we at the mercy of air traffic control? I mean you still are but till they get you out of there It's different control. They'll get you out of there. Oh Queen Najia. We absolutely love you. Hey, drop them zeros 13 on it is 80 y'all y'all made that queen pull calculate out six of them Then they had the nerve to say they wanted to add the nerve to say we were supposed to be comp something That's what he said. He said no, he said this mill was supposed to be so we was supposed to become some I thought that's what it is That's why you got to be careful with your ass boy. You'll get the answer. They told you what was comp. Oh, yeah, no, we comp 200 of that Now we come to hundred bro. I got a friend from my hood. This is a true story. He my man like he like a brother to me Cory No, Cory. Don't Cory. Don't Cory. Don't definitely bro. This nigga. Oh, let's walk it back a little bit. That's bad But yes, if she don't know that's bad. Yes. Why you got dick? She don't know if she don't know my nigga. You got yes Yes, what's up? What's your thing? I don't care what it says. It's okay. My stance on using the coupon on the first day if she don't know I'm just warming this water up. I'll do it. I know you would know. I would crack you. I'm not saying I'm not saying there's something Necessarily ego wrong with it No, it's not ego. It is so it is. I'm playing everything on ego. I'm trying to be ego. Sometimes it don't be ego There's no shame in the fucking coupon. So I wouldn't you do it? Sometimes you going out of your sometimes you end up going more out of your way doing things a certain way like if I'm on a date I want all my attention and focus to be on the date not how I can pay this check without her seeing the coupon I don't want to have to corner my waitress and get up from the table pay this over here I want to sit here. I want to ask you to check like a man because I always want to present like a man I'd like it to come and I'd like it to for me to take care of it. That's how the date you go I come you slip your card and the coupon in there and give it to her and she going to back Yeah, they don't know nothing. That's a good bit nasty though. It's a joke point. You still got a hot far on the way Cuz shorting might mean look you know girls get the oh you want me to Show you slide your coupon. You folded in the eights Again at a certain point we're not talking about the same establishments That's taking the cool that's what Mark was saying. It's going to what I even take cool if you're being a brand would you do it in Carbone? If this is the first place I thought if they had coupons If I knew she wouldn't see it. Yeah, that would be your last time in Carbone Really that would be your very last time in Carbone? No, he said if they don't take your mind issue Coupons it's a setup. It's a trick cuz Carbone is not you could walk right in walking. So oh, yeah Now try to get know we're gonna put you on this list over here No, or now you can come on Tuesday morning That's part of the that's part of the setup from Joe too cuz like that's not a real good is it like At this stage in my life. I'm not looking for a coupon Of course you get what I'm saying is he rich, but you're that's why I don't think I think you've something cuz you're a man's man You got a friend, you got a ego in a pride along with you That's why behind it if I didn't have ego I would put a shit on top of the book right here. You go 20% off No, I don't even have a ego about that. I'm sneaking it. No mark mark. I'll be sending a hold on hold on No, that's wrong. No, there's gonna be 20% off. Can you fix that? But I said for ego For me I would echo I don't still use a pride call it If you're on the first date, let me try to advance it if you want to heard if you're on the first date and You order something and they bring it out and you don't really love it. Would you ask them to take a back? No? Not now. I don't you ask them to remove it from the check. No, okay. I don't do that. Those two different things for me But I have been I have been on the date where like it's the meme in shape where I Invisible upset don't like this and she'll do it Yo, this is wrong and then they'll they'll just oh, I'm sorry. Well fix that. I don't I've never sent Not anything like I'm just taking off themselves though that if you just tell them that you're a restaurant But I'm saying they take it off what I'm saying you never pay with coupons. Well flip what they missed it I'm not even letting them know. I'm not even letting them know. Well, I said you miss it. You just taking the L, right? Yeah I think you just take that I'm a hack I'm never haggling over building from nobody But if I was in a situation where I needed to save money and I needed a coupon My ego was stopped me from putting it up, but I would absolutely sneak it in there with no problem I'm not gonna hold you if I knew I didn't have it like that for real for real We just gonna I'm gonna put my creative brain to use and go on a different date I'm going on a hug and dials on the water that you know, it's my bag back in the nose on what that is crazy
Different girl different girl. I'll play I'm doing coffee. I'm doing something else that don't require me to spend $800 coffee dates. You know that's gonna be real niggas on it at the date You don't need to date you don't you don't I'm just saying but no if I wanted to go spit again that I text you consistently for two weeks straight bitch. You know, you got love. It's a bitch. They never had love Don't they never got no real attention show text them for two weeks straight like you care and first Better get it done, I ain't gonna hold you and I know y'all could judge me. I but I you I know I don't give a fuck. I'm still price check What do you mean price check price match price match? Yeah, what does that mean? I really don't know that mean. All right, so example if I'm in Best Buy You damn skip me wait you go find a better deal Let me show you does that and they give you to you for that price see that's why I keep hearing my buddy I'm not doing that bro again. I just I don't have the time to do it. I do if it's a drastic difference. Where are you even buying that? Jersey journal no Amazon. What paper? That's it. No Amazon money. It's a rule that all of the big stores have because they would lose There's so much business to Amazon because Amazon is cutting everybody short and they doing that quick delivery So you don't walk in Jennifer convertibles and Show them what Amazon is doing you can walk in a store For reasons like this hey customers like him is why I got in the content You know that dick wolf pays you our five dollars in a street Hey, when the streets is man about something that shit is valuable and profitable in my experience I've learned mine too turns out that because they were saying you know because Joe said you can watch my thing on patreon So people thought you could just go to the Joe button pockets patreon. I know why they do that. Oh It's a whole separate. Yeah, he charged a five dollars extra. Oh, you got it's not even on a job I'm Tom Patriot I see the fan say yo, I thought we was getting all of this on the gym to know why the fuck you doing that? Hey, you can erase that one because you got buses down with dick wolf You got three different people got buses down with them. I'm saying. So these are partners and y'all No, no, no, that's not true. I know I know I'm not joke and we can remove the ones I believe you that thing is gone. It's going great. Yes, I think it's absolutely gone a lot of support out there A lot of sport up there and dick wolf is dick wolf. You killed y'all killing it man get all that man Mark you killing it to me. Hold up now. Let's talk about it. Please so for those of y'all that don't know we have we have a community Which is the space that we founded to kind of do a bunch of shit? You could live stream over there They got stations over there now you could fucking tweet, but it's not called tweet. We doing everything over You can build your own community build your own community and one of the things one of the perks of being over there is The Clipper tier. Oh, that was a big fuss. The Clipper tier was a big fuss on the internet. They was I was one of the I was leading the charge From my friends. I was like oh, they fucked this shit. So they was heated But the deal the deal was a you pay $500 you'll be able to clip up content from the Joe button podcasts and pretty much Do it. Do whatever you want with it. Like some people didn't see the value in that a few totally understood what was going on and I've been doing it in that saying You know this shit is a smash this shit is fucking absolutely genius and Nobody that is actually reaping the benefits of this perk is coming back to say hey, y'all Fuck what y'all saying. I'm killing on this shit, but my good brother Mark. I'm not killing my good brother Mark Lamar Hill Went over there and Pay the five. I'm not gonna say whether you paid or didn't pay, but he is indeed a Clipper and Ever since he had like Danny Manning of this bitch Oh my god He is the Clipper and since he's begun I See a lot of clips doing extreme for Mark. Now they doing great. They killing out these I text them on the side It's a nigga. You're killing just absolute. I appreciate it. Yeah, it's doing okay. I mean that you know nothing You know the people just ask me for money for but it's doing well. It's doing well, man That's the first couple of days coming out the geek man. It's doing well after I'm not even mad to end Charge me to full 500 I was like Yeah, I thought it a money asked him about that and he said host get it three months Get it first through my street. Please. I asked him about he said let me click right back You gotta run that right by me. Yeah, I heard from since free. You did tell me you try to go be a cracker. I got a band Well, cuz he didn't he didn't know he didn't know he said it. I got a band He said it though. He could be said it. He said you don't have to pass. That's what they do. I was what they thank you for bringing them out He is say some shit when he want to in the middle like in the midst of something initially It's not sure what he says it changes later on Yo, you come in there. You bug it. Hey, if you're working to build the nigga you're still get paid Well, hold on. Do I have to sit now? He say things nigga. So get to some details. Ian says the first three months is free So then what I call him is a hey, how do I not have to pay for the first three months? He's got quite right back buddy That's before we found out just how successful Make it back. You can make it back on double early in the game. You got to incentivize people right listen I was in the street in two thousand two thousand one listen you young kids ain't gonna believe it Red Bull when they was trying to become a company boy. They used to come to the hood They did you They did yes, yes, they used to ask we're in a studio in Queens. We used to take fucking 20 We ain't gonna stay the M in North. Yeah, they would be so they'd be like yo Do you need us to go to the car and get some more at the Red Bull car? Every hood jerseys in Queens, so they put it in the streets and after a while it stopped. Oh, yeah, it stopped after a little bit They grabbed the boy. Yeah, sure enough. Yeah, sure enough. They did what they would both do anyway Mark I'm extremely proud of you, but thank you man. Thank you, ma'am. We gonna keep building ma'am start adding more shit to man We gonna keep building so you're speaking. Oh, go ahead. I'll flip. No, no, no So if you do what the other clip is do, right? You just I don't do what they do. That's why you see my returns a little different And so what do you do? You just play the clip and then you well right now. I just I just want it. It's not even about the money Fuck the money It's a it was an opportunity for me to archive my voice. That's all. I didn't I sometimes I don't even hit the monetize button You know what I'm saying? I just say I don't think the voice is no because like on my page You can see me on peers. You can see me on this place The one place people couldn't see me was on Joe button on my YouTube channel. So I've at now he's at my clips You know, but later on if I get the motivation or if things start running low, I'll start I'll add some commentary on some of our segment. Oh Shit, you post on a cookie. Oh god. I gotta go. Yeah. I post I thought you was commentating like yo. Hey, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Slip right here. I tried to get up No, I'm gonna slap him. I thought you do stuff like that. No, dude. That's corny. Like I said, I'm never gonna put it in the makeup I wouldn't do nothing to make y'all look bad No, this is it's I would it's just a great idea some people get it some people don't like imagine if Demzel was fly with you calling it red magic Like Demzel try to get home boy to make him change the name imagine if he said you know what brother Live just just give me this Live y'all go now if I I didn't look fine. I like wait. No, no, no, that's what that's what Demzel was telling them to do Denzel so you can't call it blue magic. No, don't fuck it up. No, Denzel told them you can't step on it Yeah, you can't step on my shit and call it my same shit. Well, I'm letting you step on it for five. I go ahead I'm doing a match potato in this motherfucker Make him wine Speaking of platforms right speaking of platforms Do you brothers think that my space will be able to make its triumphant return? No, no, yes, no No, because I think Tom had enough time they know I think back in the day and now Tom has absolutely nothing to do with my space It's not time to be too brother. Yes, I'm away. No, I think online and they are teasing my space It's in case y'all think that I'm just home day dreaming about 2005. They are teasing well actually they saying my space is back And they're urging people to use it you were saying it. I just think that One we have the Graham for public shit and then number two they got Dayton apps for private shit So my space kind of put all your business on front you
You know what I'm saying? I think that the Dayton apps and what people use in my space for back in the day, it's behind closed doors on Bumble. For musicians. So strongly musicians. It's just different. I think that I think they missed their way. See, I thought they rebranded like, "Are you ever going to talk into that, Mike?" I'm sorry, man. It's a bit. You know what I mean? All my years of work has always had a level there, Mike. And so I'm not used to the directional got it. Um, the, when my space kind of fell off the cliff and everyone else, they rebranded as a music platform and say, "Which is kind of our initial thing. Let's be a music platform." I thought they should have leaned into that more because to your point, I feel like there's Dayton apps, just better social media platforms. The best thing they could do right now is try to mimic the people who they were in front of 20 years ago. So I don't feel, that's why I don't see a future in it. And let's go lean into something different. Freeze. Bring me the top eight, nigga. Whoo, that got me in so much trouble. No, hell no. And then your top eight is showing to everybody. You can't. That's the point. My focus is moving too covertly now. Yeah. But no, um, I think when Twitter came in, it became instant. Like Twitter started off as being text messages basically. So now it's not sent a post, bulletin board message, all that type of shit. Not immediate, short form, stripped down everything and just get instant with it, kind of changed the game. So in order for my space to be successful, like you said, they would have to kind of copy somebody who's already there. What's the point? Unless you find like a niche market somewhere, i.e. like a, what only fans did. They found a market that they kind of cater to, even though it started off as being something totally different. I don't see where my space, you have to change your name, actually, you'd have to come in the game. Oh, that's true. Under a different name because my space is already tied to y'all on crack. You think they could still be successful? Are you nuts? Are you fucking absolutely, no, I was letting the no people go first. My space as we knew it? No, I think my space would make up with that. But that's why I was letting you kind of go last because they were on the no side. You and I were on the yes side. But in terms of changing the name, my opinion only because I don't know shit would never change the name. Whatever, ever, ever, there's too much equity in it, number one, so there's too much to the people that, to the world. The world is familiar with the name, my space, but then that's the name in business. Go find a fucking dime business, go see if you could pump new life into it. So that's one. The name is the name. That's way too much work. I would take it a step further. I would cut Tom back in, same. I feel like if you paid Tom. And now he's back being the face, everybody get that first Tom. It's a story is the same way what I would do that also, three, everything community based is winning. Not to tie it back to a community, everything community based is winning, whether that's health and wellness, whether that's trading cards, whether that's comic books, whether that's the finesse, whatever, anywhere where there's a community that can thrive. So I mean, not only do I think my space can come back, I think they can come back and be extremely successful if done right and if the right partners are brought in, you've got to remember, we calling these places, whatever we calling them, TikTok, X meta, underneath it all is algorithm. So the same way on the community, we promote, hey, you don't have to, you can come here and build a community without being a slave to whatever that algorithm is telling or putting in your face, I'll try to make you do. My space is promoting, hey, this is a free algorithm. So you can come here and do whatever it is you trying to do. I think in the coming years, that's going to come become even more attractive to the younger people out there. One, you said my space, the name alone has equity to who? Because again, my space has died what, '07, '08, maybe you damn near 20 years later. So those who are super, super, super active on social media like that don't really have that equity with my space. They don't even know. You're not, you're not, you're not, you're not, you're looking at equity different than me. I was asking you, what's the equity? It's a tool. The fact that I say my space and people know and you know what it is. Stop. That's it. And I talk about the functionality of it, how it works, what can you do on it? That's for them to figure out. But they've spent billions in making people know the name, my space. I was outside, but into, I was 20 year old nose, my space today. Yes. But even if they don't heard, might have heard the word, yes, you've heard the word. Then that's what I'm doing. Oh, I see. You sometimes lean into the youth a lot, bro, the dominating, I don't know that I don't have the numbers in front of me, it's 40 year olds on Twitter every fucking day. It's 50 year olds on Twitter every single day. It's 40 and 50 year olds on Instagram and Facebook and all these other platforms. So the fact that my space will come back around, it still carries a brand identifier and equity with all of the people that are 35 and let me, and let me add to issues point. Let me add to issues point. Uh, the thing that I put a lot more stock in than you freeze is history repeats. These 20 year olds, I don't think they knew shit about new balances when they came around. They knew shit about A6, well, I don't think they knew shit about Abercrime being rich. All this new shit this fucking listen, Mona was here the other day, she was in, uh, she had, uh, what gene she had on, damn it, I don't remember, but I brought it up. I said, diesel, diesel, she had some diesel shit. I was like, oh, look at you and diesel, you got someone back, she was like, are you trying to be funny? I was like, actually, I'm not. You got someone right now. Diesel is out here. I got no one. I have some diesel shit. I don't do that. You wear them flat diesels. I'm going to kick you through the brain. I have diesel shit that I wear. They do exactly like the deals we used to do. I'm not trying to be funny. Yo, there's a gap Renaissance happening right now like there's so many things that are coming back. They don't even know what's resurrection, to them they think they discover something. They think they think it's nothing. They think they put it on. See, that's fine. My mother used to tell us that when we was little like, yo, we did that. Yeah. You everything that you're doing right now, we did that. And it just basically comes back a full circle. And when I look around, to be honest with you, I see app fatigue when I look out there. Yeah. I see people sick of X, no matter what X is doing. I see people sick of Instagram and what that's doing. People are sick of only seeing 10% of their feed. I see people sick of threads. I see people sick of all of these places. The only place I don't really see people sick of is Reddit and that's really a news for them. So they don't count. But all of the places where people go and get the shucking and jiving and I don't really see it too much with TikTok either, but they're on the list at some point. So let me ask you a question then, if we're not feeding algorithm, where are we getting our money from? Because again, data is the commodity. We get your data. We sell it over here. So especially today, to the people that are running their business like that freeze. Everybody's not running their business like that. I've had offers to fucking sell people to sell data. Big check. Big check. I'm not going to do that. I won't sleep at night knowing I'm taking the data. Big check. Big check. Your product. This is different. It's cash out check. He ain't lying. It's cash out check. I'm not. I can't. I wouldn't have to tell people that. I can. I couldn't. I wouldn't feel right about myself, but I see why companies are doing it, but they got that off the rip. As soon as we sign up for clear, they can sell it, but their business model is not in that. That's just the added. We got you over here. See, I think that's the business model. Let's get you over here so we can run this up because that's what we get. One of them. Huh? We got that. That's what it is. I'm glad I had to come over here and say, yo, we got, yo, yo, we got, oh, you tell it. I'm trying, you, they say, I wouldn't do that. I can't do that. Yeah. Every one of these hacks big all around. Recently, my big ancient spot, fucking, I'm on. Big data breach. And you talking about the fucking high class, that's the number one thing most private protected data breach with y'all. And guess what? I'm still going back. Data breach. Data breach. And we know we got over here. Should I? Yeah. I feel like it might, I feel like my space is going to become more app-friendly, like my space is going to figure it out. I do feel like they're going to invest in the people that are familiar with some of the some. They want to say my, they're going to do what they do. My space is arrogance made them fall off. Is that what, what, wait, wait, wait, I know there's like stories on my, my space was the shit, bro. It was like, my space was it. My space and blackberry are the, the arrogance made them fall off. Blackberry's arrogance when everybody went to the iPhone, blackberry's like, well need them. We got the business people. Well need that. We got apps. We got Excel. We got this. We got that. And so we catered to a different demo. BBM. And then I, iPhone went and got Excel and iPhone went and got all of the shit that blackberry was bragging about. And it was cool. It's, that makes sense to me. The my space thing I didn't get because I was on my space. I had all the stuff. I was on my space and never switched over the smartphones. Is that okay? Smartphone came in. That was a revolution. Everything. My space was desktop only. Yeah. I was supposed to be home on my space. Yeah.
I don't like this nigga, you can check how many miles you can take our farm person from your many mouth This bitch is fire. Oh she lived down the block That's when they caught niggas at day horny is when they told you Sarah was a mound away Oh my god, that advanced search boy. You catch them. You feed out boy Me oh, she right there wait till she learned I live by Shoot them in a bucket I've got the most pussy in my life during my space if I have a girl And I still can't close I did all having a girl Okay, I came close like a while. I was putting up fucking cream numbers on my I've never thought I could be a boy My space helped him he learned I was in hey, let me just shoot a different. Oh shit that whoa shit you flying out They were flying out before he knew how much money that I was broken to joke bitch getting on the plane like for me Then Facebook Facebook transition to the smartphone my space that even before that Facebook was college you had to have A college email to even so I just see what man That my space could come back and get you rocket I don't see it. It's gonna be hard. I'm listening because it really gonna be expensive. Yeah, they got it. They got the money though They got the money. They got the spending they will board out right anything is possible. Yeah, but like you said people tired of apps I just don't know who you're saying to write people and I mean anything done Correct legal right people got all these apps facts running sure. I agree with that. I just think it's possible Especially if you're looking at like a five to ten year playing like you get yourself some runway to actually Give it a shot. Do I think it'll be a medium? No, and I think it'll be tough and I think that the other companies will try to make sure that does not happen But I can see it I can see it What if they go out and pay for the fucking certain music rights? What if they go out and incentivize fucking all the independent artists in the world? So you know what you sell your music here with paying you more that's enough to get you a start But that's what Mark said Mark said that that that's how you got to go find them We were talking about my space come back as the masterpiece. We know it. I don't see that I just said they would have to lean into the brain it into something else A niche market one way or another and then you could go ahead That's that's the only way I can see them being successful, but to be the masterpiece. We know no I think people like you said tie the app so then y'all do agree with me and flip that it could happen. Oh, I think anything Music real quick real quick though, like even you talk about Twitter, right? Twitter die for Elon that shit is dead I don't know. All the shit you see It was news to me. Maybe y'all have known it. It was article I sent in a group chat about just like the online promotion and all of this type of shit like all Twitter's dead. It's it's all paid. It's all by it's all none of its authentic no more. It's not what it used to be Yeah, so we say dead. I mean, it's a shell of its former self. I get that. It's just not real no more and in threads kind of Threads was a nice space for like a week and now I feel like threads is quickly becoming Twitter again because the bot the same forces that overtake what they got everything they got everything Yeah, like real talk these bots and and comments and They're everywhere and now that's where the money is now their paying companies. There are companies that have paid bots and humans on a side to Put campaigns together to talk about this So why do you push? Yeah, indeed, but I wanted to play y'all this Jonah Hill clip. Jonah Jonah Hill is ready to beat everybody's ass He's seen more talk about it and somehow the Internet is mad at him about it. Here's the clip fire. You know, I love Brazilian Jiu Jitsu I love except my body is begging me to not love it 42 isn't he's talking to Jason Bateman. You're not gonna become like a professional fire You know, right like your comedian like, but let me ask you something. Yeah, if we got into it. I would fuck you Yeah, yeah, and that's the best part my favorite things you were like, oh Jonah Hill fucking faggot and superbelly I'm not kidding every fight it if you see me try it I have my fight ends up on the ground. There we go. Who's got it? It was way bigger than me. I have like a fucking fuck around and find out I believe I don't Calling calling cat. Let me hear a mark. Give it to me First that's a real weird thing. I get used with his people So I'm gonna give him a little bit of grace because with his homies, you know, Jason Bateman and them and they laugh and so it's a little bit of joking And comedian and he's a comedian, right, but a lot of it feels like You're just the fat guy from super bad who's tired of being the fat guy from super bad and even though you lost all that weight You're still the fat guy from super bad, and so you can't let that she go every time he talks He sounds bitter and angry and frustrated at the world and oh really yeah He's always whining and annoying and all these things and that's the motivation That's the motivation to be the good martial artists, but a good but a good motivation like I can't wait for one of you motherfuckers to try And you notice a good martial artist doesn't Save that Just six four six five been raised by the nation of Islam in a certain discipline This is the fat negative I have to say that you can see but yo also say that but they can try to punch me I'm gonna and job got some shit in his name Your whole entire life that being niggas motivates me I feel you 17 18, no, he been training oh 2017 20, yeah, yeah, um, I don't smoke train with him He trained at the clockwork in New York He only took private lessons. Yeah, no, I don't mean shit Why not because that's not how it works. You got to train with other people. You got to try you can't do Jiu Jitsu with one person Yeah, because Don't work do you think the private lessons? You don't think that the whoever was training him got somebody else to Tell you he wouldn't go in the gym pop, okay, like people he'd be like, yeah Let's roll He had picks and and I get it too because you don't want to you walk into a gym I've had this happen where like you you you go into a gym and if they recognize you they want to be able to say that they I fucked That they they fucked you up, right? So people don't want to I get it But when I heard the skills were like that now that was eight years ago He could've been trained for last eight years and he could be a monster But and the experience of people I know because I'm not the expert here, but the people I know who are experts they say And they get after I mean people don't talk like that after he sounds he sounds like a white belt Who just who learned a couple moves and now thinks he can kick everybody's ass and that's the last piece of this He had a lot of caveats if unless you're way bigger me Jonah Hills five foot seven and he's he's olympic skinny Everybody's bigger than him is stronger than him. So that's a hell of a caveat. Yeah, if you five foot seven hundred and forty pounds He might have that work for you. He said way he said way bigger way fair enough fair enough fair enough I just I just think that even he got enough money Like it ain't private lesson. No listen. No, I'm saying his private lessons ain't the normal person's private lessons What do you have? He got enough money where he can bring in various teachers the various shit to invest in himself I'm not saying he is or yeah, I don't know if he's nice I'm just saying if he got eight years consistency under his belt in a martial art He would be able to beat the average person Yeah, if you talk about the average band in the street just that's calling them the fat dude from super bad I just do that too. I just give it that to and I'll tell you why can't he like have really been honing his skills for the last Certainly, but still got that chip and it's just I won't just just whoever try me. I'm still the I want to show because sometimes he's got showing me one time. Is that possible? Yes, but in my experience people who have that Developed training don't talk like that but and develop develop training with the chip Let me tell you something about martial arts gyms and in the only out there who are more That everybody in there is using martial arts therapy everybody in there got picked on everybody in there got a chip when they shoulder You know, it's like working a church to say I'm looking for a recovery netting. It's like everybody has the same shit and they all have the same attitudes and what happens is you grow and develop Once you know you can fuck somebody because there's a confidence in knowing you can fuck people up That has you not needing to always say I'm a fuck people up and to me if somebody said if you if you said to him, you know What do you do to my treasure that's different him saying come try me If you think I'm afraid to come try me That's not so because we got to us we got to a squabble. What would happen? Yeah, but then he keep going He said all you out there that thing And that could be an address because y'all keep talking to me like I'm this thinking I'm chump. I want to let y'all know And I'm so anybody who is that who is good who walks around saying that people it's you want to smoke come try me It's a lot of niggas that can really and it's some hood you can go to where you don't have to say it No, it's a lot of niggas that can really fight that talk about how well they can fight when we was little and And me and Corey neighborhood it was niggas that new karate real good Then niggas would be walking around kicking the stop signs doing all that type shit wishing the nigger would it was bullied

Like, that was their-- - I don't know that guy personally. The all the men I knew like that from the hood, the rest of the hood told me. - No, it's like niggas saying, "Yo, I got money." Some niggas that really got money won't talk about it, but there are other niggas that got money that will let the world know I got state, that state thing, they security thing. Yeah, there's nothing about John Hill, there's nothing. He's not training MMA, he's training Jiu-Jitsu, so I'm just saying, he's playing every punch in the face. - Maybe. - You know what I mean? He trained sports Jiu-Jitsu. Yes. If he can get on the ground and scoot back and all that shit in here, if you jump into his guard, yeah, he'll probably fuck you up. - I say I'm stupid, man, so I'll just expose myself again. When people say Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I say you got it. - No. - But what is that? - You probably-- - There's grappling, throws, you know what I mean? - It's not a lot of striking, striking shit. There's no strikes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There's no striking. - But that we get-- - But Joe-- - But Joe-- - But Joe-- -. close enough to you, they'll break some shit. - Joe, if somebody puts you in the right grip, if somebody puts you in the right grip, you will be fucked up. - Yeah. - Like, don't-- - You're gonna put you in the grip. Yo, y'all laughing. - Yo, y'all laughing. - My best way of going home is. - Pesto. - To put you to sleep. - Yeah, if I'm throwing a rake inside those rakes. - Damn, man. - You can go down the way. - You can get shot. - That's what I hear. - He's breaking it down. Your avoid time is winning in the Japan. - Damn, man. - None of that is English. - I'm gonna shot you down. - That's the fact. - Here's the more English for you. - 40. I think I'm 40. I'm real. - Yeah. - No, no, no. - I mean, hopefully. - If I had to build my money on it, I think. - But he sounds like the guy that took like five classes and it's going crazy. - That's all I'm saying. - Got it, got it. - You still a white belt? Oh yeah, shit. - I'm just asking. - Yeah, that's great. - How does come to me, bro? - Are you still a white belt? - I was just thinking about it. - Whatever, you're the fuck, y'all got it. - Did you grab me from being a white belt? - Yeah, leave me alone, bro. - Oh, shit. - Oh, shit. - And then we can never bring 'em up. - Are you a black belt? - No. - You know what it is? - You have to be a part of it and then say the rest. - So then you leave it mysterious. - Yeah, like what? - What about you, bro? - That is you string that you haven't made a belt. - I'm gonna die! - I'm gonna die! - I'm gonna die! - I'm gonna die! - I'm gonna die! - What about you? - What about you? - What about you? - Yeah, boy. I know boy's tight, whatever. Boy's tight. - Boy's tight. - Boy's tight. - Boy's tight. - Boy's tight. - Boy's tight. - Boy's tight. - That's what I'm yelling. - Boy, you can tell me now on the show. - Yo. - Why is it private? - Is that right? - I'm a book, who's in Jesus. - It's the shame I got to pay somebody to hit-ish when he got it. It lookers to really. - To test the karate. - Yeah, 'cause we hit- - I tried to ask him out at karate schools. He won't tell anyone. - I got to catch him when he buys himself coming straight from work, dirty, construction moves door. He think he did it, seeing something nice. "Bow, we got a scene now." - We got two. - And they got the phone now. And they tape it. It's the new way. It's the 70s. When you went to school, nigga. - They tape it now, boy. - They tape it. We already love you, and you played you on the last time to niggas Niggas laid you out, niggas. We're the footage. I don't know what it for the bad. I got your back Never drop down. I had a laugh at you. He's like he playing on the slippery oaks That footage ain't dry. No, you ain't no clown. Well, still hey, one thing for certain it never dropped I was waiting for I was on world star. It never came probably fuzzy And I'm such a real niggas I'm always on parole. They lucky that I ain't street niggas, but some of that street shit I still respect me to y'all niggas is lucky because Yeah, even I don't feel good about that though. I don't feel bad peeing around good and mature niggas like y'all niggas. I was home sad niggas That's my wife. I see money. I'm like dead. I said I got a control I left that day. No No, for real. I said sad to be at this age and still like I heard Joe say you could say whatever you want to let you As long as you don't touch me why is suck my dick still getting me that mad in real time that I'm willing to Yes, you know, it's something that we gotta overcome as much as I don't know Make 50 but it don't it don't say it shut it. It shouldn't cuz it's a level of this she's back I don't suck a search you off though. It's all my week. That's it. What is sh*tting though these things shit? That's definitely it. It's sh*tting I heard Joe say niggas. That just happened not to be mine. I heard Joe say niggas Talk about whatever he handled it different. I watch him and Joe be down to fight Joe say I ain't gonna meet me around the corner However, he said those words don't bother him. So when niggas say I suck my dick flip my hard drive. It's like I I Start to fucking see you get confused me about that is You're not sucking a dick. What's that happens? They they say just suck my dick The words that came with it the beatings that came with No, you can say What happened when you told real niggas that it was afroping niggas get shot that's what I grew up seeing So that old man is like okay those words are words that you're trying to hurt me. It's still part of what's what the hood did It's still poison. It's programming as we got up. Yeah, but I'm not niggas saying that okay about that I'm not this no I wasn't saying that. Yeah, he was. Let me ask you something You're not this you got the same ideology if you happen to bump in the homeboy. What's up? What's that weird niggas? Chuck the builder? That's a good question. Yo in our neighborhoods. He would have got shot already. Yeah, that's a good question I'm he know where to go that no, I don't know I agree with you. No, I agree with you. I'm saying that what you're saying is correct I'm not saying what you're saying is wrong somebody tell you something dick you wasn't be like y'all get them They didn't put their hands on you in theory. You are a thousand percent correct I think where it comes is you know us as men We know that this person is intentionally trying to be disrespectful for content that don't Listen to me. Let me let me talk to sound what I'm asking y'all is when you make that assessment Hey, this person is being it's extremely disrespectful to the point. They trying to get me to do something That don't never strike y'all is on. Yeah, yes before you get violent It doesn't know it does like what they're trying to build the bill to do make you pause and see I process it even further Oh, it's like oh, you just want a reaction. You might be the plan Yeah, exactly why you want me to do it so you could shoot me or sue me or whatever Like come on thing is and in in uh Fuck no right like in any state of like extreme emotion, especially anger and hurt and like Comedy wins the ability to think absolutely for me Trump's most I'm a Virgo earth sign weirdo is always the most important thing I don't even like when I don't like when keep and in them niggas call me sometimes The anxiety is at a level that I'm not even listening to you dog like you got to pace yourself or the more anxiety go up the more calming I have to be because I got to be able to think I don't know I Didn't shut the business y'all cuz y'all just old y'all smart brothers Sometimes sometimes for me what people say it's not about the worst is and that's what people sometimes get It's not necessary to worship even when you argue wasn't y'all coming worst things to suck every day Sometimes it's like what energy is behind that and what is your intention by saying it so if an if like in Philly We play basketball we talk shit They got I ain't found you suck my dick like we actually it really wasn't that big a deal But when I got to New York in New Jersey, I realized y'all take that shit like but niggas and Philly call you a nut This is like every mean time. Yeah, Philly and weirdo and LL So at the point where you say that to me suck my dick and I'm on a court in New York It don't doesn't it don't trigger me for no reason other than I know what you're trying to do And so if you willing to say that to me knowing that is that high stakes where you from then that makes me feel like you on something else So now I'm already thinking it's about to go somewhere crazy because you're willing to say that to me So that's to me what it's about learning that we Some of the street smarts is what I'm saying And they want to do say suck my dick at a club because you bump into him like I Glute you might not be triggered, but he might be about to swing anyway. I said this age. Well, I try not to bump into people too I had a good boy. It's me too No, I just think it's the record this whole room things that we could fuck up I'm sorry I would love to see the little celebrity match with Jonah Hill and somebody anybody you know, man I'm talking about like a real celebrity like who would you put about that you want to watch actually Seth Rugga wouldn't be the worst one Ray J. Oh, only hope is Ray J will be amazing Ray J, but I'm a money will be on Ray J I swear to God my money will be on Ray J. Ray J was late. No, I'm on my dream. I'm in the main match But I mean I think it was part of the stick. Ray J has made it to where anything he does. I feel like it's part of it You don't want them strange. I'm think it was talking to Ray J kind of spicy. Yeah, I was like, right Okay, I'm gonna remove myself now I'm getting out of here because I ain't gonna keep listening as you talk like this Why though? Hmm, see that's the point. Why? Because everybody has a boiling point. So I would try to remove myself I'm getting out of here. I'm moving. You ain't gonna trick me. You got to hit me dog for this damn or we got to have scheduled to fight Come on. I'm going to go on That's old school. I seen you I seen you I was with you when you invited me to go around a couple of times. Really? Yeah I mean you all got a lot I did anyway, so I know you ain't lying. Yeah, no. Yeah, I deserve respect to fighting I feel like no, it's depends on your age group and who raised you should be back in it Now a nigga's still in you bro. Yeah, a nigga's not giving you a chance to nigga is going I don't want to corner. You know, you're walking around the corner We're gonna really be men and put our shit out. Oh, nigga now is going up top early And you can't beat the nigga today because now no Something is a fight. I'm talking. I'm just but now the nigga take it out of the day. I got I got to get my I just seen that y'all see the good good fight It's viral. It's this big as dark skin dude big. It's shit. It's some little short Spanish nigga They a real good old school fear when the big dude was rocking them in the beginning low nigga He like yeah, that's what I like and the low nigga just start whipping his ass Drop them like three or four times great feeling. I'm like a good one. Make you proud That one I did that one I did it was a good one. It's viral. It's every I watch him every day I don't watch that shit. I want you to become a plot. It was a good. I only like to watch bully I like to know why you're fighting. I only watch the bully I like to watch when people get a bully and somebody in the other person win. That's that's I don't like watching. I don't watch shit with a person. I like in the video lose Right, yeah, I don't say and I never liked the bully so I'm good with I don't want to watch like real people fight who I know I'm not into that. That's not interesting to me and and just a tie this up like if somebody asked me to go around the corner Fight I wouldn't go we too old to be following somebody around a corner to fight because it's not a life death situation if we Could walk around a corner if we organize in the fight Walking around the corner can lead to a life of death. Oh, that's the other thing. That's what I'm talking about It's that - fuck where you talking now Joe is there. Holy. No, that's that's that's If it's going around the corner, they can't walk you're not walking around the corner right now Fuck out you'll never be a time in life where I'm not down to walk around the corner. That's never happening - Today. - Yes. - This is why I don't get you to get mad at a person. - 100%.
- Just about in a person. - No. - This is why you're such an enigma to me, Joe, because on the one hand, words don't bother you. What is it that somebody can do? - This is not words. This is not, this isn't agreement. - The words is not. - The words is not. - What kind of situation would you have to be and for you to make the agreement to go around the corner? 'Cause I'm surprised at that. That's all. - I don't know. We just have to have gone too far. Like, it was just have to have gone too far. - Yeah. - Not at this stage. - Come on, let's take the walk. And if somebody is saying they want to fight, that's the old school version where they do that drop the load, drop the load, drop the load. Before it wasn't no local, we was all in the same place. - Yeah. - So, let's walk around the corner. Let's keep this away from the main avenue. - We ain't got to be police. - The police. - The street lights. - Let's get it over with and win, lose a draw. Everybody go back to the beginning. No matter what happened, there's a respect in that. And where I'm from, that's just always going to be there. - Now, you think a lot of people sign up for what you sign up for? - Sorry. - At an age here. - Sign up for? - I'm not signing up for what you think, subscribe to that? Like you say, yo, let's take a walk around the corner. All right, bet, come on. - I think that among the niggas that have no problem getting it on, if it ever got to that, they have no problem walking around the corner, no guns, no weapons, we can get it on. I agree. - I was right in the middle of dwindling. - If somebody called the game right now and tried to say, let's walk around the corner, he would walk around the corner with you. I think there's people. - No, I'm not saying nobody. I just think that number's dwindling. - Of course, of course. - I got too much to lose to do it. - There's that. And then there's other motherfuckers. - See, in my brain, you don't lose nothing when you do that. - Because in our brain, look, in our brain, we was around when a fear, when we was a fear, when we were no cell phones. - Right. - And now it is, you can take a loss. As a man, you can take a loss like yo, you got to show them. - You're the man you were around the corner. Anybody taking it? - I know. - So, but now what happens after the fight? - What happens after the fight? - Or are they going to Instagram? - I'm talking to Joe Biden, I'm talking to Joe Biden, no, no, I'll tell him a camera, be sure his face. - That's a new age shit. - I'm speaking to new age shit though. - He's saying that's what he's saying. - I think when you want to go around the corner, you'll find when booze or draw. - That's how I just say it. - Oh yeah, but it used to be a private affair. I think ice point is, it's no longer between me and the new generation. - It's no longer between me and the new generation. - Yeah. - And don't get it further. You're talking about the winner of the fight. Get on there. Yo, dog. Many a times, the winner of the fight just didn't want to have that fight again. - Yeah, that's sure too. Don't mean that every time you see this nigga that you just beat up. It's a fight. Hey the nigga you beat up got a little heart in the world He wouldn't he don't go any shopping fine fear like you know, nigga. No, and I nigga one no tough and then go to the I'm limping hilarious. Yeah, you know, the nigga in my hood back in the day, and this is old school Jersey City Clinton half shit, but all the main players in Jersey City like we all knew like it was all us. Everybody knew everybody whether you're from far as well. There's me. Anybody know anybody and this nigga moved this nigga moved New kid in town nigga moved in from like some old old boy some shit nigga. I had to be right. Remember we've 15 16 and 17 It's nigga. I had to be six four He moved new in town's name was box So naturally niggas Hey You took a light on why do you call you box? I think you two reasons you ain't got a touch in the last you can laugh from the sea. You ain't got to reach out and extend it. Let me tell you the fuck out of here. Anyway, after the nigga name was box on that we're asking hey How'd you get that name turns out he boxed It's like Mark man one punch right this nigga did all the work and now so at 16 17 He would shape like Tyson Beckford or some shit and his favorite line with niggas was let's walk around the corner No, you're gonna die and you're not resting piece the box, but yeah, what's that niggas. Hey, dude Oh, oh shit and and speaking of people that you would like to see fight Jonah Hill And listen slow news week, but I wrote it all down Mario Lopez. Oh, yeah, oh Mario Lopez versus John. He's no fucking Joe. I think I think they're Mario Lopez if I three John heels up. Yes, and said broken Yeah, but he was talking to Jason but I get it even now Jason asked him hey, if me and you had at it I went he said if you said if we had at it. I'm gonna win But anyway, Mario Lopez is on the internet doing some weirdo shit and he's posting AI AI videos of his niece Ga- ga- ga- gargling down hot dogs at a baseball game while he's next to like throwing them up for some weird Yeah, really really weird really awkward really like what the fuck is up with him and a lot of us just no more Lopez will be in the clean cut. Yeah, I'm not even saved by the bail, but what's the extra like he's the whole step still do kind of what is he on now that just hands him Bung and black Hollywood Unlocked access Hollywood access Hollywood every time you know hotel. He pops up. Um access Hollywood. Yeah Some people's definition of amusement and comedy is different So he might have posted a shit thing and it was gonna be funny and we might be He does every day. I follow him pretty closely because if he does the martial arts stuff and and every day He posts wholesome family stuff. So like it'll be him in a boxing ring and him saying I'm not training it for fitness I'm training from to protect my daughter You know like for people say have you seen her seen her dad, you know, so everything is like something funny or like Clicky with his family, and I think he just was you know the old guy that doesn't quite understand Yeah technology I think he was doing a little bit too much. He's doing a funny video of her of his niece throwing up hot dogs and she looks and she's of age though Um, she doesn't look young to me in the picture. I think so. Yeah, and I get you back on that cuz I'm soup shit And in a way Come on, let's not brush right over it. Yeah, I was like why is the age right? He's like and she's a page No, when I'm saying that when you see my older niece No, when you say nice, I'm thinking I just thought something else But he wasn't it wasn't nothing inappropriate underneath it. It was just it's the internet. He's throwing up hot dogs Right, but you know people take shit all kinds of ways like It was weird. It was weird cuz it was a video first off Yeah, that's what like and then he posted a real video of them at the guy. I don't understand what you were doing It was just young too much sauce. Yeah, old guy. I try to use technology What you type in the even make that video big dog what you was really on Yeah, that's what they kill him online. Yes. Yeah, they did and rightfully so they absolutely killed them online. I was teenager. Okay Walk around the corner with me. I'm cool. Yeah, there's another guy you said you down with anybody to walk around the corner I will walk around the corner. There you go. I'm not hopefully nobody's back around Hopefully the liquor store cleared out Why was it always a liquor store too Hey, yeah, yes, Frank Kalon in middle of a broadcast. No, it ain't No, let me find out to give me broken samples when I go to try and show love anyway What else is important? I don't want to make it morbid and get to the in-and-out shooting But that's one of my worst nightmares is to be in a restaurant fat-beet-fast food or anywhere else and Somebody just coming there and start shooting I look at the exit signs the exit doors all of you Like I get familiar with a bunch of that shit. That's why I don't really like certain spots where they're not patting you down or the Exits is hard to find No, that was the politically correct way as I am what I want to say that that's when I get to profiling Let's see what the hell's going on. Yeah, they're talking about they can't take his hand out of the hoodie the whole time Like something like that just happened recently at a at the Chick-fil-A on 22 and it's just like break profile in the even the area Some of this shit you can't you can't I won't say predict but You just yeah, you can't you can't why you can't and they just people fucked up the day Yeah, just walk in and just start shooting or you can be anywhere else and they could pull out a gun and start going crazy But the probability is different My my last topic of the day for you gentlemen to stay in this area is the Father of the kid Responsible for the Appalachian high Shooting where two two kids ended up murdered that that the kid that did it ended up getting life But the dad has now been sentenced to 15 years for gifting his kid the gun on Christmas Where do y'all stand on that I think that's horrible Tell me When you start going to the Midwest when you start going down south Hunting all of that shit is a part of their culture from young from when they kids like my cousins in Virginia I told I came in to the story my girl cousin they'd be hunting squirrels with
22 rifles, a girl. So I just think that their culture is different than ours. We view guns differently than people in the south and in the Midwest, so you talk about the Appalachia country. That's what they do. So if he gave them a gun for Christmas, he not giving them a gun to go get in a mischief or to do something crazy. Colin Gray sentencing comes days after his son, Colt Gray, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in September 4, 2024, shooting at the school 45 miles northeast of Atlanta. Colt Gray, 16 had pleaded guilty to murder and other charges. Judge Nicholas Prim, who also sentenced Colt Gray, was blunt and addressing the elder Gray. I read this for you, Mark, so you don't have to search for it. It is clear you failed as a parent, but he said punishing crimes of negligence is particularly difficult because there was no intent to commit a crime. My heart aches for everyone that was there that day for all of you that had been impacted by it, but the law requires that I set aside emotion. I don't get to sentence with passion. I have the nearly impossible task of sentencing you without passion despite the immeasurable heartache that you caused. Grade 55 is one of the handful of American parents who have been criminally charged after their children were accused in shootings. He said you didn't know he was going to do this, but you knew he had some issues and so for you to put the gun in the hands of a kid that has some issues is not the most responsible thing and it is negligent. I have my own feelings about prison in general and I just don't think this is what we manage things, but I think criminalizing parenting can be tough because while the warning signs were there, when you parenting your own kid, that shit is harder than it looked. I'm not making excuses for this guy, I don't know the case, I'm literally just finding out so I'm not speaking to this case in general. I'm just saying as a practice, when we get on that slope of starting to criminalize people for things we should have seen as parents, I'm just saying we had this conversation before. You know we had this conversation up here before and I said that with overwhelming we start to affect some of us and some of these inner city neighborhoods. I think you should got like five years, I think 15, I think 15, I think 15, I mean a lot of that. It was two? It was two deaths, right? Yes, two deaths, I'm 14 year old and people injured. I'm not mad at 15, bro. Somebody just shot in the Tesla. I'm sorry, that's tough. That's tough, man. Because again you want to send it, you want to set a press on other parents, you're now the next parent that by the AR here this and I know but that's just how they should work. Next parent that by the AR they might lock that shit up or they might try to make sure that they can't get it because damn if he go do something that I don't know he's going to do, it's going to affect me too. A lot of people don't think about shit until it affects them. Rest in peace to the kids at high school and any school shooting period for that. I didn't bring this up earlier. Lioness. Lioness is back. Anybody seen it? Anybody seen Lioness? They didn't give us two episodes, they gave us one, he gave us a measly episode. It was good enough. Oh shit, it was great. It was good enough and it's at the president, it was good enough. They bought me a cold cut, Kidmin's hugged them back, that was my man. Yeah, that's your favorite. We love him, dynamic. Them too. I absolutely hate Lioness's husband. I hate him. Episode one. Or the rest. So the start reminded me of how much I hate this nigga. Early in the show too, we five week in. First thing, we could shorty neck it in the shower. I sat up. Me too, both of me. She said both of me. That's my first, she look a little thicker in that shower and then she doing them clothes on. She look, I ain't in that shower now. And the second that I'm fucking getting the wrecked. Here come the husband. Ooh, you mind if I shower? Who is called? Who is called? He's such a bitch. Yo, he's always a bitch. I see it. Then they try to have breakfast. Yo wait, before that. Kid doing homework. No, no, no, no, before that. You missed your window. Boy. I hate this nigga. I hate this nigga. He's the worst. He's the worst. He's the worst. Then at the breakfast table, he want to have a smart off. In front of the kids, you've been around as the dad. They ain't seen mom and the second mom know everything. What's the capital of Venezuela? What's the capital of that mom know everything? You sitting there trying to chat. He just is such a. And every time. Oh, I need no. Oh, spoiler alert. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm not gonna spoil it. No, no, no. Could they really have a real nigga be her husband? Yeah. No, you can't. No, you can't. She can't have that. I think so. You win a wait. You came home shot. You win a wait for God knows how long you disappear in the middle of the night. We got two daughters to raise. This for me ties back into the Queen Naja check conversation. Listeners out there wondering where's Joe going with this one. I'll tell you. At some point in Lioness without spoiling it. But this ain't even really a spoiler. Niggas come to the door playing around at Lioness House. Yes, indeedy. And Lioness get to Lioness and do what you gotta do. She lay 'em down. She were all. Like I, like I, like I. She got busy. Bow, bow, bow, bow. Guess who's right out the house after the. With no gun. After everything is secure. Everything is safe. Everything is fine. No gun. No knife. Not a golf club. Nothing. No bat. He come out. And his mouth just dropped to the floor. Say nothing. Get your bitch ass back in the house. See, I think if you're in a relationship with a woman and she's the alpha, right? Then play your fucking beta role. If you had to check. If you had to dinner table with Queen Naja and the check come and you to beta, then yes. I'm fine with Queen Naja getting the check and you shutting the fuck up and looking like a bitch ass nigga in the background. But homeboy coming out the house after she. Like I, like I'll lay some shit down. I'm just sick of him. I hate him. I hate him. No, the gangster part of that is. I hate that. No, the gangster part is. That was six months prior. They still live in the same house six months later. My nigga. I. What? I've rewinded it. Me and my girl thought we missed something. Yo, nigga came to the front door in the middle of the night. I don't know what that shit is. You said no, no way. It's been lived here. You still lived there? That's cause you dating a beta bitch ass nigga, man.
