The podcast features a candid, humorous, and emotionally rich conversation among hosts centered on authenticity, personal experiences, and cultural reflection. Central to the discussion is a heartfelt story of one host crying on TV after his father’s death, underscoring the necessity of honoring grief over rushing into work or performance. The group critiques performative emotions, calling out fake crying for views as classless and dishonest, instead promoting genuine vulnerability. A lively debate follows about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s inductees, where the hosts express frustration over the exclusion of Black artists like New Edition and Mariah Carey, highlighting perceived biases and lack of chronological fairness. The conversation also delves into cultural memory, referencing *Saved by the Bell* and the overlooked contributions of Black composers like Jester Harrison. The hosts engage in playful yet pointed exchanges about personal relationships, fashion, and social dynamics, including a humorous discussion about sneakers and text messages. Throughout, the tone balances entertainment with deeper commentary on identity, legacy, and community. The episode concludes with a strong emphasis on real connection—emotional, cultural, and personal—over superficiality or performance, reinforcing the idea that authenticity, not popularity, defines meaningful human interaction.

If it get bad, I'll grab my shades, but the performer in me, I'll sit right here and cry, boy.
You turn it on.
Hold up, man.
You turn it on like a lion.
Don't get me jacked up. Pause.
Oh, it's still on.
What's that?
Yeah, I'll sit right here and cry. That's the difference between the Mark you and the Joe you. I'll cry.
I'll drag it all out.
Mark is studious.
For views.
What I'm about to say.
Huh?
The performer in you.
And he wants that chain back, so he's. Yeah.
No, that would be classless. That's classless.
So crying for views ain't classless.
No, faking a cry for views is nasty. I'm saying if I start crying, I'm not moving.
What are you faking the cries for?
I'm not rushing to a closet to cry.
Oh, yeah. I think we all would cry up here if we felt moved.
Oh, I don't think that at all.
Have you cried on television before?
Yeah.
VH1, I cried doing. Love and Hip Hop?
No, it was. Basketball Wives?
Black and Crew.
Black and Crew reunion.
What?
What?
How they made you cry?
I did the show three days after my dad died.
Oh.
And. Damn, Mark.
Yeah, you're going to fuck us up.
We can't even crack jokes on your dumb ass, guys.
I set y'all up for that.
Y'all ass.
I was quiet.
Y'all more. Y'all more head first into that one.
Can't even crack jokes.
What happened on that episode?
I was waiting for. I was like. Yeah, don't go in.
Hey, what's he say?
Black ink, I checked out.
All right, black ink is cool.
Hey, what happened to Caesar?
Doesn't he listen to me?
Yeah.
No, I was. I didn't think I. Because what happened was my dad. I flew out there because we had three reunions, so I was supposed to be there for 10 days
to do three shows.
Got it.
And my dad died the night I got there.
Oh, you cracked him.
Oh, did I?
You cracked him.
And it was like. Why would you say that?
He cracked him.
No, he did crack him.
Oh, I did.
Not his dad.
No, no.
He cracked them VH1.
Yeah.
I cracked VH1 with VH1.
It was a great check.
Yeah, no, for sure.
And I was in L.A. for 10 days in a pandemic.
Did you let them know your father passed away?
That's what I mean.
Yeah.
Also, you were just checking off boxes.
So I said, my dad just passed.
They said, go home.
I said, no, I want to stay because there was nothing really to. There's nothing to do when somebody dies.
Got a bonus check.
So I just stayed there.
And then I went to work that day, and I was okay right into the moment where the woman. The girl said, like, yo, her mom. She was telling us about her mom dying.
Oh.
And she started crying a little bit, and I just lost it.
I just. And I don't cry on TV, but I lost it.
The cast actually came over and, like, hugged me and helped me.
And so I had to ride all of them over, like, in crew.
They looked out, but. And then VH1 was very grateful, obviously, for me staying.
I stayed because I stayed and did other shows.
Nice.
Bonus.
Financially grateful.
Very.
That's all I heard.
Very.
But the lesson in that, y'all, is, like, grieve, man.
You know, just grieve, yo.
Don't. Take the time.
Take the time, man.
Don't push working.
I don't ever stop working.
So even, like. I mean. Cry on set.
Fuck it.
Yeah.
There you go.
Yo, put. Lift the bottom of your shoe up.
Let me see.

Well, his. Is your shit dirty?
No, yours is dirtier than his.
Yeah, I wore this in Trinidad.
So let me see your shit.
Ooh.
Yo, bro, we not sitting here debating on who's bottom of these sneakers is dirtier.
What I'm saying is that. What are we talking about?
The plan is that. I'm curious to know why.
Yeah, no.
Here's the thing.
Because every time I ask about his sneakers, he says he doesn't go shopping and he had
them for a long time in that stupid-ass room of his with the boxes.
Yo, I heard these niggas. I licked the bottom of the sole.
He do all that.
He be lying.
You went and bought those, boy.
I've seen the sneakers in his house.
I did.
I did, too.
He has room. Oh, you went to his crib?
You just said you did, too.
So we did.
No, I saw the picture.
Nigga, I didn't see them in 3D.
I mean, would you let you in?
Yes.
Oh, shit.
That's fucking. Don't say nothing stupid.
I do be smiling and looking at shit that's writing down that come on the show.
Like, oh, it's got some. It's got some water fountain in the fridge, nigga.
Like, just bullshit.
Nah, I gotta confess.
I feel phony.
I can't sit here.

She, like, you would think, thought that it was probably, like, the second woman she's
ever been with.
You're only the second?
Lil Jon, Lil Jon.
Jossie, yeah.
Jossie McGonigal.
Are you crazy?
You fell for that?
You fell for that?
You fell for, what, you lactose, nigga?
Are you crazy?
I didn't even think that shit still worked.
Who gonna tell Jossie?
Oh, man.
I can't, I almost can't believe that worked.
Why?
It's not on Jossie.
I wouldn't think that worked on her.
I think Jossie.
Madonna shouldn't be able to get that off on nobody no more.
I mean.
She fucked more than two.
It only worked because you Madonna.
She fucked more than two girls that Big Daddy can't shoot.
She might have fucked more than two girls.
She might have fucked more than two girls the night that she kissed Britney Spears at
the fucking VMA Madonna.
Angela, he was shocked.
Really?
She tried to hold you down.
Jossie, come on.
They put Madonna on Drake's jacket, too.
Yo, they play through a lot on Drake's jacket.
You know he fucked Madonna.
Oh, I thought you would say that.
Yeah.
The way you said that, I'm like.
No, no, no, no, no.
You know that nigga fucked Madonna.
I mean.
Yo, what fucked Madonna?
I would take it for a spin.
Like older Madonna?
Sick.
You would take a spin?
Not today, I don't think.
But like in that era, that was like.
That was like 15 years ago.
That's Madonna, right?
Yeah, that nigga.
She wouldn't need to get the lie.
She's 64, dog.
And?
Yeah, but it's a white 64.
It's like older.
It's like a.
A rich one, though, too, now.
Hold up.
Hold up now.
But it ain't like a Cher 64, though.
A Cher, get it to me.
Yo, did you just see Cher?
No, I'm saying Cher's look better.
I'm saying Cher, I understand.
You don't understand Madonna.
Oh, you parking?
Oh, he parking, y'all.
He parking.
Y'all niggas up here farting.
Oh, OK.
Y'all niggas up here farting, bro.
I thought he was going to say he'd be like her Jeffrey or something.
Oh, shit.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You niggas fucking lying.
So you'll spank Madonna?
Nigga.
Yes or no, Ish?
I will fuck Madonna just for bragging rights.
Close your eyes and do it, huh?
You say whatever you want.
This is Madonna, my man.
But bragging to who?
Me.
You're 50 already.
You've been bragging to me.
I was a nigga.
What the fuck are you talking about?
I'll give you a break.
Like on some cool shit to drop at the kickback?
No.
I ain't got to tell.
It's a personal brag.
You out your mouth.
Some shit you do on your old self is fucking her.
Like, you don't want to fuck Madonna now, but you wanted to fuck Madonna 30 years ago.
So now that you can.
It's an IOU.
25 years.
All right, 25 years.
The IOU is still fucking Medina when you fucking Medina.
Yo, the girl that dissed you on high school,
well, not you, because you're going to sit up here and lie,
but the girl that dissed you on high school
that you wanted to IOU with,
you might pop even though she ain't.
What I'm lying about?
Why you just calling me a liar
and I didn't even say nothing?
No, I said you going to lie about it.
He's going to lie about saying he didn't get this.
That nobody dissed you in high school.
No, no, no.
I wasn't talking to girls in high school, man.
I was doing drugs.
I didn't say that.
I said the girl that you had a crush on
that was fly in high school,
they might not be as fly today,
but you might pop just on some IOUs.
That's what your 20s was about.
Your 20s was about. Yeah.
Sometimes I go typing their names in Instagram.
I know their first and last name still from class, nigga.
I type it in.
I remember my first girlfriend, nigga, ever.
Kindergarten, nigga.
Kindergarten?
Kindergarten.
Yo, this whole podcast is a crowd for help.
And everybody knows it but us.
I want to say her name, but we got too many. I was going to say kindergarten.
Don't grow up and be fine.
The second guest ever on this podcast
was my high school crush.
I thought that was fly shit to do.
It is.
I brought her on, and she was still fine.
But I ain't do nothing.
We know.
Not true.
Hey, Alma, if you want you.
Alma?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I know her old name.
I wasn't him in high school.
I wasn't getting no bitches in high school.
I was doing crimes.
So now you him.
So when they. That's what I. Reception is good.
When I watch all y'all
rapper street niggas today
and you gangbangers
and you niggas
that's doing all of the crime,
that is my first or second thought
is y'all not getting enough pussy.
I mean. Y'all not getting enough pussy.
You're not.
Y'all not getting good quality pussy.
No, you're not.
That's two different things.
Because they fucking on the crime free.
I was about to say.
Quality pussy
that makes some of these niggas
turn their life over.
There's a lot of girls that. They wouldn't have the time
to wake up and go be with
40 dirty niggas
that you got to pay for.
They pay for to go everywhere
that's going to kill niggas
at the restaurant we go to.
Quality pussy
to talk you out of that.
Quality pussy
how you out here doing crime.
No.
Quality pussy
how you on a hot block
with a bag of dope
in the motherfucking
middle of an election.
You're crazy.
I believe all the stats
I got to buy her a Z.
She want a three six.
When you get you a quality woman. Shit.
Quality woman,
quality pussy.
These niggas ain't getting
quality pussy.
Two different things, Joe.
Two totally different things.
I don't think
none of them niggas
that's running
around waking up on some
yeah, let's go do this drive-by
has another choice
that's soft.
No, that's not true
because there's some
street niggas
that get money
to have a good woman at home.
Great woman at home.
Are we talking about
quality women
or are we just talking
about getting. I also think he's talking
about crash outs
not necessarily like
dudes that are in the streets
that are doing well
and chilling out.
I'm talking about crash outs.
Oh, yeah.
They fucking on their way
to the job.
Give me some head
while we go.
As soon as they're done
they go over there
with the hot gun.
Yeah.
Yo, yo, yo, yo.
Yo, man.
That shit turned her on.
Oh, he just shot
some niggas.
Come here.
Shit, you're wetter.
Let me shit me way wet.
She thought
burning herself with the. I love this is all
came from a Madonna talk.
These little girls
is crazy, yo.
What?
What did she say?
She burned herself with the. This nigga said
she burned herself
with the gun.
You're all right, though.
That's funny, sir.
What?
There's a couple of real,
real, real, real, real,
real pretty girls I follow.
I haven't mustered up
the courage to send
the DM I want to send,
which is,
hey,
are you in a gang?
I know what you're
talking about.
Some of them.
Yes.
Some of them.
I think they in a gang.
Yes.
Yes.
It'd be some beautiful. You can tell
when they go hang out.
Yeah, nigga.
They just don't care.
They in gangs.
No, I care.
You out your mind.
No, I got a story.
I was with Ice Cousin
one day.
Goddamn, yo.
Damn, nigga.
Nah, it's about. You don't know
Michael Sands' name.
Michael Sands' name.
Oh, a dude.
Yeah, it's a dude.
Oh, shit.
Oh, that didn't
even cross my mind.
I thought you took
his cousin down, boy.
You fucked Ice Cousin?
I said, damn.
Yo, you can't fuck Ice Cousin.
Yo, what's wrong?
But then I was like,
I said it's a nigga
that probably got
a few cute cousins
with niggas coming.
No niggas is fucking
your cousin, nigga.
Why you in the other room, too?
That's just for you, too.
It was this.
It's so silly.
I'm a cop lot.
Wait.
Yeah, he in the other room.
Yo, that's it for you.
Fuck you good.
Get out of here, freeze.
Yo.
Hey, free.
Go downstairs.
Make us a coffee, nigga.
Go for a drink of cereal.
Go for a freeze.
You're like, hey,
what are you doing here
on my cousin's birthday?
He's none the wiser.
Nigga, I'm fucking
this shit out of here.
Oh, you know her, too?
I already know you do, Sheila.
Yo, where'd you come from,
Karen?
This would do that.
This would fuck
one of our cousins.
But go ahead.
Yo, this nigga's a nigga.
You think so?
I don't know.
You think it's a fucking
without us knowing,
without asking permission?
Did the battery die on it?
This nigga is an idiot.
If that little shit
is up and functioning,
somebody get him.
It's all right, man.
This nigga's an idiot.
That's cool.
Anyway,
I used to talk to her.
I used to talk to her.
Dude cousin.
Yo, we're at a spot,
and this girl walked through
with a donkey.
I'm like, who the fuck?
He's like, no.
She a crip.
This bitch,
and she go hard.
Like, she outside.
I said, her?
He's like, yeah, nigga.
Like, she lay him down.
I said, oh, all right.
He's like, yo, what?
They be the ones
with the fire body, too.
And they be from Brooklyn.
I don't really mind
them being in the gang.
I mind their invite list
when I'm at the bar.
It's like, they invite people
from the gang.
That's the crew.
You haven't been cool.
She should be in the gang
all she want, but.
At around 130, 145.
And if she like you,
she'll tell you, listen.
The people that's coming,
it's about to get crazy
in a second.
That's your cue.
No, but you good, though.
I still going.
Oh, yeah.
You good, though.
No, you good, though.
They support them.
The Pretty Joy's
bring all the gang bangers out.
But you good, though.
No, I gotta leave before that.
I'm good at that Uber.
Yeah, I gotta go.
I'm good and going.
Because once they come,
wherever they ask me to go,
I'm gonna say I'm going.
Yo, we out of here.
We going up.
No, I'm just saying.
And they dropping this shit, too.
I'm dropping a mixtape.
I'm throwing a party for it.
This Sunday.
Nigga, you coming?
Yeah.
Who's show?
Yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chicken Wings gonna be there.
Who comes?
Shit, in Connecticut.
Oh, you know what?
I like Connecticut.
I love Connecticut.
You know what, Star?
I'll be there.
Yo, Mark, you ever dated
a gangster or a tough woman
or a street?
Where?
Some bitch is a shoe, Mark.
You did, for real?
Yo, dated.
For real, Mark.
What does dated mean?
Yeah, yeah, I was about to say.
Dated, dated.
Well, you're talking about
the cult chick that could fight.
Yeah.
No, I'm talking about like,
you fucked with her.
Yeah, like we kicked it,
drink, fuck.
Let me just watch my legs.
Look at how you talking.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
She's a lady.
This is why Angela Ryan
don't get mad at us.
Nigga, you fucking now, Mark?
Angela Ryan would go,
Mark, I can't believe it.
I told you what's happening.
Look how they got Mark
talking up there.
Shout out to Angela Ryan.
I didn't catch myself.
No, but my 20s, yeah,
I did a lot of stuff, man.
I did everything.
There you go, add that shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yo, he's that boy.
Put that shit in the past.
Oh, yeah, and my team?
19 and a half?
I was wild.
Yeah, the t-shirt
don't never say that part.
Come on, what y'all
want to talk about, man?
Where y'all want to start?
Anywhere in the world?
Anywhere in the world
y'all want to start?
Coachella?
I guess we could.
Let's do it.
What y'all think of Coachella?
I really just focused
on Justin Bieber.
That was the only thing
I wanted to watch.
Clips and Bieber
was the only thing
I even watched, really.
Can you afford it?
Same.
The people, what's going on?
I didn't watch Coachella.
I didn't know Coachella
was happening.
By the time I knew
it was streaming,
it was a bunch of people
I'd never heard of.
Yeah.
So I was like,
all right, cool.
I was good on everything.
But Justin Bieber was,
I mean, Justin Bieber's
going through some
interesting shit right now.
So is Katy Perry.
Wait, what happened
with Katy Perry?
She got accused
of some things.
Oh, did she?
Yeah, she got accused
of kissing a girl
and liking it.
Just the girl didn't like it.
She forgot that part.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, this time
the girl didn't like it.
Yeah.
She was taking shit out there?
Snatchies.
Oh, shit.
You can tell me.
Katy Perry?
Never mind.
Never mind.
You were saying, Mark.
I mean, she was rocking out
with homeboy
that was taking shit too,
allegedly.
So anyway, carry on.
Expand.
Finish what you said.
Finish your thought.
I wasn't saying anything.
You sure?
I'm positive.
Okay.
I've never been
more positive, Mark.
You were saying?
Justin Bieber put on a set
that was a little,
it was a little,
how would you describe it?
Weird.
Creative.
It was great.
So part of it was good, right?
First of all,
it was a lot of swag, too.
Like, if you like swag, too,
then you love this set
because it was a whole lot of that.
If you love his biggest hits
and his best performances,
this wasn't for you.
Yeah.
He didn't do the hits?
Sort of, kind of.
Sort of.
Okay, so some of it
was an acoustic set.
Some of it was like
the Faith and Family set.
And then some of it
was the YouTube set
or the laptop set.
Yeah.
He literally brought out
his laptop
and started playing memes
and videos,
including videos
of himself.
So some of them hits
that you like
was like on the YouTube version.
Yeah,
and then he just kind of
harmonized along a little bit
sometimes.
Yeah,
and sometimes he just stood there
like F5.
Yeah.
It was weird!
It was a little weird.
Or creative, depending.
It's kind of
split the Bieberverse.
I'm starting to get,
again,
maybe I'm old,
but I'm starting to feel like
some of the shit we say is creative
is just basic,
dumb shit
that is so basic and dumb
that we twist ourselves
into pretzel
pretending that it's
uber interesting and creative.
Because,
put a laptop,
I can do that shit.
We could call it
the L word
if we want to.
Yeah.
It's a little bit lazy.
Yeah.
It was lazy,
but,
Or you could say it was a minimalist, artistic expression.
Indeed.
Yeah.
Depending on where you are in the B-Reverse.
Exactly.
I thought it was a little bit boring, but. Yeah, and I really like Justin Bieber.
Me too, and I like Swag and Swag too.
Yeah, the great albums.
Yeah.
But, yeah, nah.
The set wasn't it.
Is that all your commentary about this performance?
That's all I have to say.
Oh, and it was remarkable that, you know,
when you start showing him his own audition footage,
and his own YouTube singing of, like,
singing like Usher and Chris Brown back in the day.
That shit was 2008.
That's 18 years ago.
I just forgot how long he'd been on the scene.
He's a grown-ass man with a family,
but that shit was 18 years ago.
It made me feel old as shit watching Justin Bieber.
He didn't play that one, did he?
No.
I don't think he played that one.
I think that one.
For time, for time.
He ran out of time.
How's that for making $10 million in an hour?
That's what he got?
Excuse me?
That's what he got.
Well, that's what he got for his performance.
That's what he got for his performance fee.
Sheesh.
If I made $10 million,
if I paid you $10 million,
you'd pull out your fucking laptop?
Yes.
I'd just make the shit up.
Keep your overhead, bro.
I mean, off-camera,
we were just coming up with, I guess,
hypotheticals of why he might have did that, right?
There's a bunch floating around out there.
He sold his catalog.
Yeah.
Right?
So, if you do sell your catalog and you perform,
you don't make the money from that?
Normally, you would.
Yes, I'm saying.
But what he sold,
it was a little different.
He basically sold
anything that made money prior to,
I think it was like 2022.
So,
performance rights to the song,
he sold that.
Streaming rights.
Streaming rights.
He sold that.
So, even if I,
the company, Universal,
still owns the song,
whatever portion that he was going to make from it,
if a song is played,
streamed, anything,
he sold that part.
Damn.
How much did he get?
$200.
A little bit over.
Okay.
I mean.
Withdrawing your honor.
So, if that's true,
well, we know that part is true,
and I'm doing a performance,
and if I perform these new songs,
I get paid for them.
I wouldn't give y'all none of the old records.
Nigga, for $200 million,
you could have naming rights to my kids.
And I'm going to go create more slaps.
That's the harder part.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's easier said than done.
Well, 18 years in the game is a little harder.
I mean.
Those two albums were good,
and they performed well.
They were great albums.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, people like them.
I like those albums.
They're really good albums.
They sound good live.
Yeah, but he,
I mean, there's a lot of people saying
that he couldn't
because he sold his catalog.
He could.
You can cover any song you want.
You just don't get the money.
You just don't get the money,
and I mean, not for nothing,
he just put these two albums out.
This is one of his first performances
since they have come out,
at least on this scale.
Yeah.
It would behoove him
to pump these albums up.
But you want a little bit of baby
and a little bit of.
That's what you lose me on.
He went to the fucking awards show
with the same victim look
and sat up there in his drawers
and started fucking singing.
I think he trying to convey a message,
and I think he wants people
to start asking questions.
Okay.
I think he might have something
that he want to say,
and he just want,
he don't want to just come out
and say it.
I think he want the people to start.
I mean, he went through
some health scares and shit too,
so there's a lot of shit going on.
But I would have still played the slaps.
Like, as part of my performance,
I would have still played the slaps.
I would have put the majority
of my album out.
He's so smooth.
He did.
Health scare.
He did have,
I forgot what it was.
Yeah, it was,
I don't want to speculate,
but it was something.
For real?
Yeah.
Best piece.
He did 30 songs.
It was a 90-minute set.
So, I mean, he did a lot of music.
It wasn't like he didn't do a lot of music.
Yeah, 30 songs is a lot of songs.
But it's also like how he performed.
Again, the better songs,
he didn't perform in a way
that you'd want to hear them.
He brought Thames out.
That was dope.
But most of the shit
you didn't want to hear
the way he did it,
to me, toward the end.
The acoustic set was dope, though.
Again, he's Justin Bieber.
He's still him, but yeah.
He didn't bring a DJ or nothing?
The nigga plays off-table.
He's got a box cord.
And a mouse pad.
Nigga, I'm trying to save money.
Do y'all know anything else
that happened to Coachella
outside of the Justin Bieber performance?
No.
Do we know who else performed?
Clips and clips.
That's all I know.
All I know about Coachella
was the white blogger ladies
that I was following
that was telling me
how trash everything was.
So they was just showing me everything.
They was killing it?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Really?
Why don't you watch one?
They're going to show you
everybody's killing him, yeah.
Damn.
And Coachella just seemed weird
leading up to it.
To Coachella.
It seemed a little quiet.
More quiet.
Super quiet.
That's much marketer.
That's why they ain't going.
Ain't no controversy.
It is two weeks, though.
So next weekend,
maybe there'll be more hype,
potentially.
I don't know who's playing.
I don't know if it's different lineups.
But it is a two-weekend thing.
It was still quiet, bro.
Usually I know
when it's happening.
There's some noise happening.
Yo, you got to watch the stream.
Even if you're not there,
you know what's going on.
Yeah, why didn't they float
the normal Frank Ocean rumor
that happens every Coachella?
Right.
Something.
That's another one.
Anyway, I don't care about Coachella.
I'm sorry.
It's all right.
Salute to the Biebs here.
Shout out to everybody that was there.
Shout out to Biebs.
I'll try to catch a little bit more
this weekend.
Hopefully there's a good lineup.
Because these lineups were,
it was tough.
Like, look at it all.
There's like six different stages
or whatever.
I didn't know a lot of artists.
Snoozefest.
Yeah, I'm cool.
Do y'all care to share
outrage with me about
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
Outrage?
What's outrage?
Depends on what your outrage is.
Did y'all see who got inducted?
Yeah, we did.
Who did?
Okay, so we talked about
a couple months ago
we talked about the nominees.
And we were all excited
about the nominees.
Great, great nominees.
But the actual eight performers
that got voted into
this year's class,
and shout out to them,
they all deserve it.
For sure.
Phil Collins.
Definitely.
Okay, yes.
Billy Idol.
Okay.
Yes.
Iron Maiden.
Okay.
Again, all yes.
The Joy Division slash New Order.
Oasis.
Okay.
Sade.
There we go.
Everybody but Imani's
happy about that.
Luther Vandross.
Okay.
And Wu-Tang Clan.
Okay.
What are we mad at?
What are we mad at?
I'm going to tell you
who didn't get in there.
Please.
That's where the outrage comes from.
Again, everybody deserved it.
The left out names.
Because there were 17 nominees.
The Black Crows.
Okay.
Jeff Buckley.
He should,
well, he's still got one album.
But okay, carry on.
Great album.
Did he make Buckley's?
The Medicine?
That shit is knocking cold right now.
Hey, who the fuck, yo?
His biggest song was a cover.
He was great.
He was great, but wait a minute.
Let's go, Paul.
I'm saying wait for the outrage.
No, no.
I'm going in a particular order.
Okay, but wait a second, though.
Who the fuck is Jeff Buckley?
Who do y'all think I am
that I got me outraged
that Jeff Buckley
Rest in peace.
didn't make it?
Rest in peace.
Man.
When y'all hear Hallelujah,
you're going to be like,
oh, okay.
Hallelujah's amazing.
That's what I'm saying.
You Muslim, nigga.
Hallelujah don't resonate
with you, boy.
What is she talking about?
Wait till you hear Hallelujah.
You ain't going to beat
the allegations, boy.
What else you got?
Who else didn't make it?
So,
Mariah Carey.
That one is crazy.
She can wait a second.
She can wait.
Okay, we'll talk about that
in a minute,
and I'll tell you why
I think that's not true.
Should I deal with Mariah?
I mean, Melissa Etheridge.
Okay, yeah.
Keep going.
Lauren Hill.
Keep going.
She can wait.
She can wait.
Y'all in excess.
They can wait.
They can wait.
They can wait.
They can definitely wait.
New edition.
They should be in there.
They can wait.
Get the fuck out of here.
Now y'all tripping.
They can wait.
Bro, watch.
Wu-Tang Clan be in there
and not New Edition.
Whoa.
No, no.
Listen to me.
Listen to me.
Yo, hey.
Everybody be easy.
Everybody be easy.
We're having a good day.
Them niggas come around, boy.
That Muslim shit
won't help you.
Them niggas be deep.
And neither is Joe.
Are you kidding me?
I left them all behind.
I'm telling me.
I pieced it up already.
If you want to start anew
in 2026.
No, no.
Shout out to Wu-Tang Clan.
What I'm saying is
if we talk about
chronological order,
the whole point is
they can wait.
I'm saying New Edition
is older
and been around longer.
I'm just saying
if we go in there,
they all deserve it.
Remember, I started with
they all deserve it.
But if we just say
and they both were big
and one deserves to be in,
New Edition been out
a decade and a half before.
How long Phil Collins
been out?
Since the 70s.
The 70s what?
That's my point.
And he just getting
his induction.
So other motherfuckers
could wait.
I'm not saying that those people,
Mariah Carey's going
to be in the Hall of Fame.
Lauryn Hill's going to be
in the Hall of Fame.
New Edition's going to be
in the Hall of Fame.
Sade is just getting inducted.
So if Sade and Phil Collins
can wait,
no disrespect.
So the fucking
Lauryn Hill and Mariah.
Then how's Hovind?
I'm just saying.
Because they be getting
inducted for different shit.
Mark, all of these people
are amazing.
If it were reversed,
we would be saying
the same thing.
If New Edition made it
and Wu-Tang wasn't on it,
I would say Wu-Tang
can wait a second.
And I would too
because that would make
more sense to me.
You just worrying about
the chronological order part?
What I'm saying is
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
don't make no damn sense.
It's arbitrary and capricious.
Sometimes they pick
the biggest names.
Sometimes they don't.
Sometimes they pick
the oldest groups.
And whenever they make a choice,
they use that as the excuse.
Now you know what
they've been doing lately?
Because we've been,
the black people really
didn't give a fuck
about the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame at all.
Up until the last probably
five years or so,
six years or so.
So now to keep
the communities engaged,
we're going to give you
some rappers.
We're going to give you
some this.
We're going to give you
some that.
And we're going to mix it up.
So Wu-Tang Clan
is going to bring
a different demographic
than maybe New Edition would.
Wu-Tang is more rock
than New Edition.
No, I'm not saying that.
I'm just saying.
But Wu-Tang is going to
capture the other demo.
Wu-Tang is more worldwide
than New Edition too.
Yeah, like we're not doing that.
No disrespect.
I ain't even think of that.
Let's go freeze.
Let's go freeze.
And this is why
I don't like it.
It's not close at all.
Yeah, I don't disagree with you.
I'm saying that's why
I don't like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I think part of the process,
because I saw lots of ballots,
I think it's fan voted on,
at least part of it.
Part of it.
Really?
So that's going to have
some sway in the tube.
Advantage, which I hate.
Yeah.
Which I hate.
Oh, by the way, also left out of this list was Pink and Shakira.
They can wait.
They can wait.
Pink and Shakira.
I'm not outraged by that.
My issue is New Edition.
New Edition should be in there.
And they'll get in.
And again, of course.
I just feel like Mark, in his house somewhere, has an outraged jukebox.
He's looking for it.
When he needs something, he going in.
Oh, yeah.
Look what he want to be outraged.
I'm taking to the streets tomorrow.
New Edition didn't fucking make it.
No, I just don't like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in general.
That's what it sounds like.
Yeah, it's the criteria.
It's the groups.
It's who they pick.
Again, I love the Public Enemy's in there.
I love the NWA is in there.
I love the Tribe Called Quest is in there.
It's just sometimes I don't get the order.
So if that's under your guise, Phil Collins and Sade should be pissed.
That Tribe is in there.
Yes.
You get what I'm saying?
Yes.
But ain't nobody saying that.
We wasn't outraged.
I was.
Yes.
I'm being dramatically outraged, but I definitely don't like it.
I don't like the order.
I don't like the look.
Now, Phil might already be in the Hall of Fame.
He is with Genesis.
With Genesis.
So that's different, too.
Because sometimes you'll be in there with your group, but you won't be in there as an
individual.
I'm good with that.
I'm not even going to know the day that they put Robert Buckley in there.
Jeff Buckley.
Tony Buckley.
It's like, nah, I ain't playing.
Whenever he make it, I ain't going to know he made it.
My notification is off on that one.
You can send that to Spam.
Stop.
That's not nice.
They just said that he can make it.
He can make the medicine.
Yo, this nigga's crazy.
Fucking Jeff.
He's got one song.
And I do love that album.
What's the song?
Hallelujah.
Which is a cover.
Which is a cover.
It's a cover.
He sung Hallelujah.
What's the song Hallelujah?
It's slow.
I'm not going to play it.
Hallelujah.
No, please play it.
That one?
Please.
It's fine.
Already, because already it's funny with you and Mark being stupid again.
This is about to be great.
And then I'm done.
Then I'm done with the rock and roll Hall of Fame.
We got to hear what he dropping on that.
I know.
It's also like seven minutes long.
No, we just need.
All we need is the first 30 seconds.
30 seconds of that.
I hate y'all.
And he said nigga in there somewhere, too.
You'll probably actually like that shit.
Listen, it's fire.
I'm going to say it.
No, this came on.
It ain't bad so far.
He put a little twist on it.
Let's see what he do.
He put a little twist on Hallelujah.
This ain't your great grandma, Hallelujah.
You know who created your grandma's Hallelujah?
No.
Raleigh from.
Robert P. Key.
No, Jester.
Yeah, I don't care.
Jester Harrison.
He played Raleigh on 227.
I mean, on Amen.
Oh, okay.
One of the greatest composers of the 20th century.
Oh, word.
Dude.
Yup.
Yeah.
All right.
He's saying it.
Oh, yeah.
This is.
Who the fuck are you talking about, man?
One of the greatest black composers of the 20th century.
We don't know him.
That's why I'm telling you.
Jester fucking Harrison.
He was on Amen.
He played Raleigh.
Jester.
You know what?
Fuck you.
This is not a music podcast.
I ain't with it.
Hey, Mark.
He fucked it up.
Nah.
All like the music.
The music.
I was on the record.
Take turns.
Yo, he fucked it up.
He got low, though.
I know this record.
No, you don't.
Wait, let's get to the hook.
It better turn up somewhere.
This shit sound like it's on the fucking Epstein playlist.
Oh, my God.
It's down to Satan.
Hallelujah.
Hey, yo, fam.
Thank you very much, Jeff Beck.
Hey, Mark.
You and Jeff could go.
Thank you very much.
We appreciate that.
He was tight about Jeff Buckley.
I'm not tight about Jeff Buckley.
He don't relate to God, nigga.
He deserved to be.
You don't relate to this God?
Quit your outrage right now.
What the fuck you got me listening to, yo?
Oh, hell.
He fucked up some good music just now.
Yo, that music was fire.
That music was fire.
That music was hard.
It's his arrangement.
You got to listen to the rest of the record.
You don't like it.
It's really an amazing record.
It is.
All right, I'll check it out.
Anyway, shout out to, boy, I.
Why was he whispering?
This nigga got me Googling Raleigh from Amen.
Raleigh from Amen, Justin Hirston.
He's still going.
He mentioned it.
Anyway.
One of the best composers ever, man.
What else can we be outraged about?
He was also Amos and Andy.
He was also.
Mark.
Justin fucking Hirston.
Justin fucking Hirston, Joe Budden.
Justin?
Justin Hirston, yes.
I'm not going to lie.
I am excited about this.
When they do the induction and the live performance, though.
Yes.
They're going to body that shit.
I can't wait to see Sade.
He need to call Brian Michael Cox.
You know Raleigh.
I remember Raleigh from Amen.
Yeah, no, I do remember.
Yo, yo, yo, yo.
They missed it.
Yeah.
Yo.
This nigga was born in 1901, man.
Yeah, he was a legend.
He was a great composer.
He was in Amos and Andy.
He wrote one of the most important musical compositions.
Rest in peace, yo.
I tried.
What the fuck?
You keep bringing it up.
What the fuck?
He don't play because of his black people.
All of a sudden, when it comes to the music,
he don't play because of black people, but sports?
What else is going on out there?
Holy shit, yo.
That was great.
I know you're itching to talk about the WNBA draft.
Let's get to it.
Let's get to it.
I know you've been waiting.
Enough bullshit, yo.
Let's get to it.
Enough of the bullshit.
I saw you tweeting last night.
Live tweeting.
Yo.
I watched the WNBA draft.
I'm telling y'all that if the seniors of this broadcast
don't pick up and say something, you're
going to just go crazy with this bullshit.
I'm out of control.
I got about three more in my back pocket.
Oh my-- please, no.
Please, please.
All right, we got new music.
We did.
We did.
We did.
Let's go.
Woo.
And boy, oh boy, did she go crazy.
Woo.
Yes, sir.
Got me on that beat so it's a banger.
Big Bronx.
Yeah.
Let's go, Remy.
Yeah, let's go, Rem.
Rem, Rem.
Watch how you talk to me.
I'm a mogul bitch.
You get in my way.
I'm getting surgery in exchange for promo, bitch.
I'm a gang on a yacht on some YOLO shit.
And you keep jumping on my dick like a pogo stick.
In competition with herself, don't even know that bitch.
Hoes be doing the most of a social dick.
I've been her since I was wearing Bobo's pitch.
You get a bullet through your shirt with a logo whiz.
The nervous niggas claiming that they wrote those hits.
When they whole career, they ain't never ghost wrote shit.
Not for me or anybody else.
You on second like you helping, nigga, go help yourself.
See, I know what the problem is.
I don't really brag enough, but you don't talk about problem.
The price is when your bag is up.
You keep talking numbers, but the numbers ain't adding up.
You want to be a baddie, but you ain't bad enough.
See, I know how to network.
I on the network.
You know you getting money when they Googling your network.
Conflicting positions.
You got them to fuck up out of here.
I'm sorry.
I love everybody involved.
I'm saying, but that's a good song.
Yeah, it was good.
It was good rapping.
Well, are you guys of the position
that she is shooting at people?
Yes.
Yeah.
Come on, first of all.
She shoots-- yeah, she-- yeah, she's shooting at people.
I love when girls shoot at each other and they can rap.
Yeah.
You getting surgery in exchange for promo, bitch.
That hurts.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I don't know who she talking to.
But whoever it is--
Whoever the boss is.
Whoever it is.
They know.
That hurts.
And they'll find it, because, you know, they--
She went off on this shit.
I ain't-- I ain't-- I ain't going to hold you.
She went kind of crazy.
She did.
And it's always good to have a good muse to shoot at.
As a rapper, you want to keep somebody to shoot at,
even if it's imaginary and the public never know.
Or not imaginary.
Just the public don't know you.
Or that.
But, you know, she went crazy.
She got her shit off on this one.
This reminded me of, like, the beat I'm talking about.
It reminded me of, like, a modern-day lean-back kind of beat.
Like, sped up a little bit.
It started in the reggae community.
A little horn.
And, you know, I'm shocked that she wouldn't have put a hook on this.
This is just an underrated thing, ain't it?
It's a quick freestyle.
No, it's a beat.
She put it out.
Oh, she put it out as a single?
I purchased this.
Oh, no shit.
Oh, I only saw it on Instagram.
I wouldn't throw no hook on this.
I purchased this.
Shit, why not?
A lot of people did it.
This beat is rocking.
She killing.
This ain't a single.
This is a point.
This is a warning shot.
Yeah, this is a point.
I'll be listening to it on the way home.
I ain't know who it could have been on.
I don't know what y'all talking about.
This is a beat that they. And a guest feature.
And if I would have put it out as a freestyle,
that's the era I come from.
If you put it out as a freestyle
and that shit start gaining some tracks
and you pulling it back
and you putting that motherfucker out.
Right.
But in the person that makes the beat
in the community, in the reggae community,
they allow all the artists to get on it.
That's one of those beats.
I don't think that he's. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
So it really is a freestyle.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Boots you by the time I take it back.
All them niggas did it already.
I take it back, I take it back, I take it back.
I'm a motherfucking expert
And how you talking out your neck
When I know how your nigga neck works
I think that's totally disrespectful
That's crazy
That is totally disrespectful
I think that was the idea
And it's kind of true a little bit, right?
I never thought about it
Who are they talking about yet?
Whoever she's talking about
I don't know who she's talking about
But
But it could be true
Potentially, yeah
How you talking out your neck
And I know how your nigga neck works
Like that's nigga
That's
Are you crazy?
That's kind of crazy
Talking out your neck
I love girls talking shit
I know you really hate my guts
Cause your bitch is really ugly
We can't make this up.
They call me Slim Rim, but my weight is up.
They telling me I should wait.
Nigga, wait for what?
The weight is up.
Look, it's time.
And if you see me with a bitch, it's fine.
When these other bitches rappers always just rhymes.
When I rap. Bitches always tend to dime, stop playing with me
I got these niggas in the jail while he's staying with me
I got these niggas in the streets while he's slaying with me
I got these niggas in the south while he's hanging with me
I got these niggas in the games while he's banging with me
And what you looking at my shoes for?
I swear to God I know I'm on these bitches' mood boards
I'm in the city pretty, driving something two-door
Nice fit in the feet, give me shoe porn, listen
It's a shame how I never get at it, but I always get mentioned
Like how I'm just getting cold, but I never get fucked
See, I might get subbed, but I never get touched
Might blow a little smoke, but it never gets ducked
Got this big-ass chain, and it never gets tucked
She's smoking this shit like crazy
That's called the W-Y-F-L rhythm
Nope, we got it
Nigga, no, nigga, what do you feel like?
Nah, don't play with Caribbean, nigga, watch your mouth
DJ Mack and them niggas made it, shout out to them
Stop playing, nigga
Put some respect on the rhythm, because you liked it
I love it, I just didn't know, you educated me
I had no idea
Thank you, shake my hand
Thank you
Damn, nigga
See, see
He hit me right there
That explains a lot
Might blow a little smoke, but it never gets ducked
What?
Wait, no, I'm the one in this
Get subbed, but I never get touched
Like how I'm this big hoe, but I never get fucked
See, I might get subbed, but I never get touched
Might blow a little smoke, but it never gets touched
Got this big-ass chain, and it never gets tucked
Play hater, not at all, I don't play those games
You got beef with Rem, bitch, nigga, say my name
Jusha
That's tough
Yeah
Fat did a freestyle, too
He did
We here right now, though
Uh-huh, yeah
Shout out to Rem, though
That was crazy
That was absolutely crazy
It's conflicting, you know, when you're cool with people, right, Box?
That's why you gotta
It's tough to enjoy it as a fan
That's all you can do
Why is conflicting it both of them can rap?
That's why you gotta be
They both can rap
True
It's always tricky
But let me ask you a question, Joe
We love Mr. and Miss Smith as a movie
We love all the movies where you was married together, and now you gotta go at it
I was gonna ask you, like, I'm thinking about hip-hop history, like, rapping and shit, like,
a dude, if he comes back, what does that look like?
He can't
Because he can't come back the same way she
No, you can't
She is
You can't
Who's done that?
You wouldn't do that
You can't
I'm sorry
You wouldn't do it
That's what I'm trying to say
You would
I would
In a New York second
You going first
Who did that?
Like, who had, like, a good
What's a good back-and-forth male-female beef in rap?
None
That's what I'm saying, I'm trying to think of, like, I can't think of, like, a good one
Eamon and Frankie, but those R&B
Because usually somebody throws something
You can't
You can't, though
Don't nobody throw nothing back
The dude can't do it
What's the time the dude started, Roxanne Chanté, only built for steady fuck?
Like, you get bars like that, and then that's it, but, like, an actual battle back and forth
Like, I can't think of one
Can't
I'm telling you, you can't do it
So
Sporty Thieves and TLC
That's a good one
They ain't know each other
They wasn't shooting at each other
No, they were just
But it's still
They were just on the spot
Yeah, yeah, I'm talking about
Sporty Thieves
Sporty Thieves listens to the pod
So watch out
And we shot the Sporty Thieves
And we were there for fucking
That was a fucking record
For them to be
That was my shit
They got all the pod money
No, what I'm saying is that
These shit's gonna be personal
You can't say personal shit to your ex
As a man on a song
You're gonna look crazy
You're talking to him
I know, but his chicks couldn't rap
Well
He about to pull something up
Yeah, my chicks sold records, nigga
At least three
Nah, that's why you just gotta be
When you date a rapper
Yeah
You gotta worry about that kind of shit
I did that shit about 90 times
Right
You have to worry about that
So what do you think is happening?
Oh, shit
Cause I'm thinking like
Yeah, Wyclef didn't respond
You have a bunch of ideas
And that's smart
I don't know exactly
I don't know exactly what's happening
Some of the best songs ever
Is kicking your girl back in
Hey, and there's a nigga
A woman that went back and forth
Just thought about it
Who?
Rihanna and Drake
Ah, yeah, that was a little
Back and forth for a second
That's good
Hey
Nah, I'm joking
Yeah, please don't
Please don't
Can we play his fab joint?
Please
Yeah, absolutely
Let's do it
Yeah, let's hear Fab
He went crazy, too
Touchdown in the yard
Celebration dance
Touchdown with the squad
This is not a local touchdown
We abroad
Let's rap about it, though
Touchdown like the pod
Bank like TD
Touchdown with the car
Pick six to kick it
Touchdown with the broads
She on all fours
Touchdown like a quad
So I had to run it back
Touchdown hundred yards
Keep me in the end zone
Like a red zone
Gotta get you gemstones
On your skin tone
Booty pebbles for the body
Not a 10, not a 10 dome
Ass make the bedrock
Like the Flintstones
Trick some of kids
And it's money been grown
And I get under niggas' skin
Like an ingrown
Up on these niggas
You would think I sent drones
Where they try to cross
You would think I went chrome
Tryna get me on camping
For a pink phone
Tryna dip with my jewels
Like I'm Gil Jones
We don't really book rooms
Niggas rent homes
Put away that Sprint phone
Or get sent home
It's a secret society
All we ask is trust
Only niggas doing it
To the max is us
Let's go, fam
People coming through
Like they was faxing us
So we gotta keep chopped
Like it's an ax with us
West Indies
Like it's say in the kicks
That's how we stepping
Through that A76
Cake very thick
Like a plate's never missed
Pussy tastes like rum punch
Take every sip
Yo, I used to serve a J
That was cool as LL
I was selling butter soft
Like a Pell Pell
I remember back spot
Chits for 12-12s
Now I'm doing
Bad mind shit in 12-12
First night drinking light
Just chilling, thinking life
Then it's back to the villa
Where the teens make them nice
Tell them follow Porsche truck
Hit the blinker lights
Next day hit a car
Next party pink and white
Then we go tropical
Heard it be poppin' too
Rain can't shut it down
Vibes unstoppable
My dog Acne
Just sent the address
And Big Larry
Bringing Brooklyn badness
We only got room
For another bad bitch
Girl, it's Easter Sunday
Hopping like the rabbits
Shout out this leg
Got the Rick on display
Know I had to come silky
When I came to risque, ay
And he did a video
Saying everything
That he did in the song
Even in all the spots
He named
Walking in
Like, yo
I like Fab taking the camera
Man for the video
On the vacation
That was fire
Bro
That's tough
Now that Flip explained to me
What this beat is
And what's going on
That made
That made
The end of Fab's verse
Make sense to me
When I first heard it
I was confused
When I first heard it
It was like
Okay, he went crazy
For the first
28 bars
And then it sounded like
A commercial was happening
With the video
As I'm seeing it
But now that you explained it
That makes all of the sense
In the world
And Fab
You still
What did he say?
You still
Fuckin'
Telling the bitches
To follow the car
With the blinkers
Here I am
Nigga
He's going
Old school
On him
When he out there
I think the role still works
Yo, we up
Yo
Fab doing the world
A disservice, bro
About not putting up
More music?
Yes
Yeah
That nigga raps
Way, way, way
Too good
To be this dormant
I know
I know Flip
Yeah
Yeah
Damn
Dormant is the word?
I mean
Bro, we not here
One step above it
Yeah
I wouldn't call him active
Not active
Enough
Not active enough
That nigga's too
That nigga's too talented
Way too talented
Yeah, bro
Gotta be conflicting, man
I mean, you know
If we saying that
Imagine how he feel about himself
He know he's talented
He know his talent
He know what he could do to the world
I'm not mad
At no rappers
Making the pod pivot
To pivot the pod
Oh, no
We wasn't talking about that
I'm just saying
That's what he doing
It does feel good
To hear his voice
Absolutely
Like, I even
I like the 50s shit he did
The word play
All of that shit
When he get on
He'll remind you like
Damn, that nigga used to
Who he is, yeah
I just have a lot more
Empathy for rappers
Like, when you're not rapping
I assume that there's a reason
That you're not rapping
Especially when you
That could be true
That's where the empathy comes from
No, that could be true
Especially when you are
Of our era
Mm-hmm
It could be health shit
Going on
Personal matters
Business
Business matters
That you're trying to clear up
A lot of it
A lot of us
Was in fucked up deals
Had fucked up deals
And I'm not talking about
I'm just talking about
That whole era now
Yeah
Some people realized it
Later than others
Like, you don't know
What people are going through
Imagine the rappers
That's in them positions
Looking at their peers
Like a
Like a Lloyd Banks
A Ransom
Who
Are able to still rap
Whenever they want
And you know you
You know you got it
It's in you
You know you wanna rap
And for whatever reason
You can't
That shit'll fuck with you
And you know you got it
That's why it's funny
To follow the crowd
And it's funny to be sheep
Those people that
The cool kids laughed at
When the turn was happening
The people that were focusing on
Just independence
Or straightening out their contracts
Or having some ownership
Even if that means
You're only selling
10,000
12,000
15,000 copies in a week
Back when they didn't realize
That that was a pretty good
Pretty good thing that was happening
Yeah
Because you were too busy laughing
Mm-hmm
Those are the people
That are kind of down
Combinating today
So what do you do
In a situation like that, right?
Do you hope
Or do you wait?
Because you know
Time waits for no man
What do you do
In a situation like that?
Aren't you doing yourself
A disservice
If you don't find another
Well, now
Remove this from Fab
But anybody
Let's say if they're going
Through some personal
Contractual issues
That they don't wanna
I'm figuring out
I'm figuring out a way
Tom Fab
But what do you
Don't you do
Change my name
Join a band
I don't give a fuck
You change your name
Doesn't that take away
From the equity
That you built
I still wanna make music
Better than that
I can't speak for him
Not if the fans
Know what you do
If I pop out
And you see it's me
It'll work
And I'm doing what I do
You're gonna have to
Build it up
But
Nigga Prince
Turned his name
To a logo
Like we gotta do something
That nigga's too
Too exceptional
And wouldn't work
With anybody
Who was signed
To a label
Word
Like he stood in that
There's too many stories
Of people asking
For features
And them saying
Well, do you own
Your stuff
Or are you a slave
Like Prince was
I didn't know that
Yeah
He's hardline
No, I heard
I heard him talk a lot.
I didn't know he wouldn't work with niggas that had
labeled yeah he wasn't clearing she's well documented of telling artists
listen I'm trying to fucking put my kids to college not there's mmm Wow
shout-out to Prince rest in peace that part where he was he wasn't clearing
shit for them labels you come down for nope I never had ever I just always been
stubborn awesome fuck the system and it turned into turned and worked out yeah
into you really probably never had I'm sorry I just want to be clear at one
point you said that you really want to be down wanting to be down wanting to be

All right.
Playoffs start this weekend.
They do?
They're going to be good, I think.
Of course, the Knicks have the fucking worst first-round matchup you could possibly have.
Who they got again?
The Hawks.
Nah, that's not that bad.
That's not the worst.
Who would you have preferred?
The Raptors, like we were supposed to get.
Dog, they not.
I would take the Hawks over them.
Okay.
Me, personally.
The Hawks playing good?
Yeah, they playing good.
But I think that they—
The Hawks lost, like, four games since February.
Yeah, but y'all going to beat them in seven games.
No, we going to beat them in five games.
Knicks in five.
I ain't that worried about them motherfuckers.
They just got a lot of long, lanky niggas, Pauls, to throw on Jalen.
But Knicks in five.
The game one is Saturday.
I'll be there.
We'll see what's going on.
They don't do it this year.
That team getting broken up.
That's what I'm hoping for.
If you don't get to the finals, that team is getting broken up.
To the finals.
If y'all get to the finals.
If y'all get to the East and semis.
I mean, Eastern Conference Finals.
Eastern Conference Finals.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Depends on how it goes.
No, not depending on how it goes.
I'm telling you what the owner has been sending out all season.
Finals or bust.
We're breaking this expensive-ass team up if you don't make it to the finals.
Oh, well, you might as well stick with that.
I think that's unwise, but I think it's a horrible decision.
We'll be all in on Greek Freak.
We'll be all in on Greek Freak in the summertime.
Oh, you mean break it up like that.
Okay, got you, got you.
And he said he wanted to come.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah, he said he's like New York is basically one of the only cities he wants to even entertain.
I do have the Knicks going to the finals.
I don't know if that's just my bias, but I'm not worried about the Hawks.
I'm not scared of the Celtics.
And I don't know the state of Detroit, but even if they were healthy,
I really wouldn't be scared of them either.
But they're not.
Health is a major part of things.
It is.
Longevity, health.
I'm praying for my Sixers right now.
We got a plan against Orlando.
What are you praying about?
Orlando's trash.
Are they not?
Orlando is the real –
Orlando's bad.
Orlando is bad, but they spent all of that money in the offseason on homeboy.
All of their fans tried to tell me how much better they were going to be
and they are bad.
- Orlando's a bad team.
- They're a fully healthy team.
That's why we in this mess with the fucking--
- The nigga Franz Wagner just came back.
- They're fully healthy team just lost
to the Celtics G League team.
The Celtics sat there eight healthy players
and the Magic lost fully healthy.
- Yeah, I thought the app was bugging.
I'm like, they not giving me nobody?
- They're horrible.
- Then I watched the game and I was like, oh.
- The reason I'm worried about the Magic
isn't 'cause of the Magic,
it's 'cause the Sixers are so injury prone
and have had such bad luck.
Joel Embiid just had an appendectomy.
This is the first year we thought he was going to be ready
for the playoffs healthy.
His appendix burst.
Paul George was out.
Maxie's had the damaged finger.
I'm just worried about us staying healthy.
I think we beat the Magic healthy.
I just don't know.
I like the Sixers unhealthy against the Celtics.
I just think they match up well with the Celtics.
No, I'm assuming that that game goes like it's supposed to go
and that Philly ends up against the 2C.
I think the Sixers, honest to God, healthy can go a round or two.
I think there's some teams that are tough outs,
but a healthy Sixers team is a tough out.
I don't think they can beat the Celtics at all,
but in the event that the Hawks push the Knicks to a six
or seven game series, which I don't see,
I would like for Boston to not just be on vacation time
resting their bones.
They won't be.
If they play the Sixers, they won't be.
Again, Maxie, George, Embiid, healthy.
Strong team.
Again, it's just we've had such bad luck.
Paul George, my ball.
Yeah, but again, we have such bad luck.
It seems like we keep getting one injury, one suspension.
Every time something weird happens.
I mean, who's appendix first?
And honestly, I know we're talking about ball with the playoffs coming
and all that.
I'm going to sleep a lot better once the NFL draft is over with, too.
Oh, me too.
I can't wait.
Tell me why.
Next week.
Just with all of the smoke screens out there,
all of the questions about who your team will take,
will there be a trade.
So much bullshit.
This player.
Narrowing.
Ten years ago, and now he's a question mark.
Narrowing down on the players that you would like your team to get.
Like, I'm still into all of that.
Me too.
Me too.
So you want y'all to take a.
Were you guys at fifth?
Fifth.
In what position?
For now.
Oh, you're going to get a position.
What's your biggest need?
We have a lot of needs.
I'm saying, but what do you think?
If it was you, ideally, you want to get what?
They're talking about you can go offensive line.
Yeah.
With Spencer Faneu and the big boy from Miami.
Francis Malanoa.
Yeah.
Him.
And there's another big boy.
Lone Vega.
From Ione Viega.
Pardon me for butchering your name.
From Notre Dame.
Right.
Yeah.
I think he's from Notre Dame.
Y'all talking about the same dude.
Or Penn State.
Oh, maybe it's Penn State.
You might be right.
You might be right.
The Ohio State boys.
Sonny Stiles.
Tate, Sonny Stiles, and Downs.
Downs is a safety.
So non-premier position, but he's ill.
They're still.
What's going to happen with Jeremiah Love?
Is he going to go to the Titans?
Is he going to slip past the Giants?
A lot of people have him as the best skilled player in the draft, period.
There's talk about us trading down and drafting the fucking corner.
What's the corner's name?
I don't fucking remember.
From LSU?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't remember his name right now.
Brain freeze.
Mansour Delaney.
Yes, Mansour Delaney.
So just a lot of questions about what the Giants will do.
Gotcha.
How your team will look.
I'm going to go line it from y'all.
I'm definitely going to go line it from y'all.
Yeah, probably.
If I'm y'all, I'm going to go line it from y'all.
At five, you got to get someone that's going to be an impact player.
Yeah, like a receiver or something like that.
Don't make no sense right there.
Whoever we don't get, I'm scared the Commanders take it seven and really improve their team.
And they've made a lot of offseason signings.
I'm watching them.
I think the NFC East is open.
Yeah, it is.
I think it's kind of open for grabs.
It is.
We lost a lot of very close games last year.
I think they have a chance to make a big turnaround.
Off of sports, though.
Unless you want to get a J. Cole retiring very briefly from the, what do they call it?
I can't say it.
The Monkey Kings.
That's the one.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Grand opening, grand closing.
He retired already?
They waived him.
I think he couldn't get a work visa or something.
Uh-huh.
He got deported.
Yeah.
And he also played 40 minutes and scored one bucket.
And decided to basket on his first shot.
Yeah.
I mean, the Chinese government probably couldn't get him a work visa.
They couldn't sell that one to them.
Right.
They couldn't get that one off.
I mean, it was his first game in a long time.
I saw the footage.
I mean, it didn't look good.
But I was still proud of him for going out there.
It's also like my age.
He's 40 fucking more.
I thought it was average.
I'm not going to clown him.
I thought it was great to watch him pursue his dream.
I saw him in the NBA Africa League.
And then I saw him do this.
I think it's dope, man.
I saw that nigga play in the C. Brickley League right there in Chelsea.
And he was getting buckets.
So I ain't going to say nothing about him.
He was in all types of fadeaways, turnarounds, corner threes.
He was on fire out there.
He can play.
Maybe not at a pro level.
Yeah.
Regardless of the country.
And he came out cold.
I was going to say, it was his first game.
He might have just not warmed up yet.
He's been driving a Civic for three months.
Y'all cramped up.
His knees were tight.
He gave me 6'5 in a Civic.
Can they go all new?
Just come out and get buckets.
Can't do it.
You need to stretch.
That's hilarious.
Yeah, but salute to him.
Again, I love people pursuing their dreams.
For sure.
All right, off of this, I want to ask y'all.
I missed the last part because I was away for a funeral.
Rest in peace.
Rest in peace.
All condolences.
Indeed.
And black funerals be different.
I'm trying to be respectful here.
You been to the white ones?
Yeah.
I've been to a white one, too.
Been to a white funeral.
And you the only one been to the white funeral?
I've never been to a white funeral.
Yeah, you did been to the white funeral.
I've never been.
Every good thing will tell you what you wear with it.
White cream, all type of funerals, nigga.
Quakers out.
I'll invite you there.
To the next one.
All right.
But I wanted to ask y'all.
You got a plus one.
You got the plus one.
That's a funeral.
He's with me.
He's with me.
Oh, man.
Okay, freeze.
I wanted to ask y'all.
What funeral etiquette do you think should exist at a funeral?
No pictures.
I agree.
That's my least favorite thing.
Both no selfies with the casket and also, because I hate when people be like this.
I hate when people be like this.
The last funeral I was at.
You're lying.
I swear to God.
Niggas who are like this at the casket?
I see that a lot.
Yeah.
Selfies?
Yes.
Hey, yo, bro.
It's a different era.
I've never seen that.
I went to my cousin's funeral.
Hey, yo, cuz, cuz, cuz.
You got to go to some black funerals.
I've only been to black funerals in my life.
You got to go to your dad's side.
I've been there, too.
And I've never seen nobody take no motherfucking selfie, bro.
But also, none with me.
We got you, man.
We got you, man.
A lot of times at funerals, people want to-
Oh, yeah.
Oh, with you.
Yeah, they also that, which I hate.
Oh, Mark, come on, man.
Like, what the fuck?
You made it about you.
It's not about you, nigga.
No, not me personally.
Fuck you, nigga.
I'm going to take a picture with me at the funeral, nigga.
Who the fuck you think you are, nigga?
God damn you.
God damn, Mark.
That was funny, sir.
You know what, Mark?
Let's not.
I don't want a picture.
Just let me be here, bro.
I hate when they want the picture with me at the funeral.
I'm trying to grieve.
I don't really-
I watched every hour of Jesse Jackson at the funeral.
There ain't nobody at the funeral.
Oh, shit.
I watched all four days.
I ain't seen a lick of-
Hey, where's Mark?
Not one Mark.
Anybody seen Mark?
Not a one.
Oh, man.
They shouldn't stay up there too long by the casket.
That's what I-
I hate that shit, yo.
How long are you going to be here?
There's a whole line behind you.
I skipped the lines, huh?
I will skip the casket line.
You can't skip the line, my nigga.
If you're not mom, pops, or me, I'm skipping the casket line.
Once the first two rows go, game on.
Y'all, Terrell, go.
Once the first few rows of family get up and go, sorry.
You jumping the line.
I'm not getting to the back of the line.
If that person could get out this casket,
they would tell you how much they love me
and want me to be up here before you.
Then you'll be in the first two rows.
Huh?
No.
No.
That's family.
That's for family.
That's for family.
That's a good one for you.
Family and close friends.
No, sometimes when the family is deep,
the family is deep up there.
All right.
Well, go ahead.
What about when they open up for remarks?
Oh, that's the best part.
Oh, I hate that.
I hate those people.
That's the best part.
I hate when they crack inappropriate jokes.
Like, nobody care about the sex life.
I hate that shit.
I hate when niggas talk to you.
Well, of course, you're a pervert.
Everything is freaky to you.
Oh, yeah, sex and sex life.
Let me hear about it.
No, nigga.
I'm talking about the inappropriate shit.
Like, yo, this is my nigga right there.
I'm going to say some funny shit that he would relate to.
I like that.
I need that, too.
But somebody in the church might be like,
so we had that happen.
Every family, I'm sorry for your question.
Every family should be allotted,
one of those people.
The problem is the families think
that it's a few of those people, and it ain't.
Yeah.
It's one that get up there,
had that relationship with the deceased.
They joked a certain way, knew him the best,
had personal stories.
They're going to get up here and make us all feel better.
True.
The rest of them, nah.
Nah.
Cut that mic.
Cut that mic.
You were saying for you.
I'm sorry.
Yeah.
Nah, so one got up there, and it was that, though.
It was, yo, she had something in the cup.
Everybody knew.
Oh, God.
In the church.
In the church.
But she made everybody feel better, though,
so I got to give her props,
but she was wilding a little bit.
She was doing a lot.
She was doing a lot.
She was like, yo, listen, when I go,
I want it like this.
I only want, don't have no lying-ass pastor over me,
because I'm going to haunt y'all.
Yeah, yeah.
She's like, I smoke weed,
so I want all y'all in the crowd to smoke some weed
in the church while I'm in here.
Okay.
My kind of funeral?
Yeah, yeah.
It was your kind of funeral?
Yeah, fuck it.
Play it up.
So she did make everybody feel better,
but the elders in the family-
It's better than it is.
On fire.
They wasn't liking it.
What?
On fire.
They don't like shit like that.
They don't like that at all.
Like, you could see the divide immediately.
Like, everybody else was like, oh, okay, she cool.
She the, you could tell this the wild cousin that lied,
that get everything all wild up,
but them elders?
It's always that one cousin.
How'd you feel?
Well, I'm an outsider, kind of,
because it was her feeling.
I can't really, you know what I mean?
How they feel is how I feel.
Got you.
That's all.
You took the elder side.
Nah, I was chill.
I'm like, yo.
This is what it sounded like.
Yeah, I'm sure.
You about to roll up?
You found the fun here.
You laughing?
I don't know about we, but-
I mean, when they was cool, I was cool.
Got it.
Like, I'm here with my lady, her moms, and all of them.
So they were cool.
But the elders in the family, they ain't like that shit.
So I was just maybe thinking, I'm like, yo, what are some of the things, like, the do's
and don'ts at a funeral?
Because sometimes, like, we know you the loud cousin.
We know that you always speak your opinion, and nobody can stop you from talking in the
black sheet.
But at the funeral, yeah, man, shut the fuck up.
Some flip-ass nigga.
Nah, never do that.
Never do no shit like that at the funeral.
Just don't do too much.
Yeah, never.
Now, being extra is corny to me, but there are some people that that is really authentic
to who they are.
And this nigga's had to get up to, yo, remember we was going down to blah, blah, blah.
I ain't gonna say what you did that night, but it's some niggas like that.
I mean, we loud one, but my cousin got mad.
I remember my cousin that passed away, his sister, she got mad.
Like, she was upset.
She said, yo, I don't appreciate this girl coming up here and sharing those type of stories
in front of the whole family.
Like, you sharing stories.
I got, we got one joke.
You start sharing stories of how a nigga fucking, what he doing.
It's too much.
It's inappropriate.
Sometimes it ain't gonna go that way.
I remember, I know we all watched X Funeral, DMX, rest in peace.
And I remember one person went up there that looked like they wasn't supposed to be there
and you could kind of see it.
And everybody else was like, you have a problem when you get off the stage, bro.
So sometimes it don't always go to best.
But in this case, like I said, Shorty did pick the spirits in the room up.
It's important.
So wasn't nobody mad, but the elders in there weren't trying to hear that shit.
Joe, I'm sorry.
Now go ahead.
Freeze is gonna die at some point.
My nigga.
He will.
No, no.
We're all gonna die.
Okay, so pick somebody else.
It's just your story.
I mean, and likely, let's be honest, you're gonna die before freeze.
But if not, if this doesn't happen, what kind of freeze stories do you tell at his funeral?
Because you got the whole range.
From he's a great guy to-
And you're a poet.
Yeah, you got the whole range of possibilities.
Mark is crazy.
He is crazy.
No, he is absolutely nuts.
Mark is nuts.
No, he's nuts.
Nobody want to accept that they're gonna die before anybody, Mark.
Just, you just-
Okay, in the off chance-
That you pass away-
That Joe Budden doesn't die before anybody.
What do we do at your funeral if you pass away before us?
Mark's so brave, I don't even play with death like that.
Yeah, I don't play like that.
Like that.
Because I feel like if I say shit like that-
Yeah, yeah.
It puts it in the air.
Kill him?
It come knock on my-
No, no.
It come knock on your door, I feel like.
No, I mean, this is-
I don't even joke like that.
I'm not even joking.
For me, I make a range.
I've already told my wife exactly what I want my funeral to look like, who's invited, who's
not, more, who's not invited.
Got it.
Who's allowed to speak, who's not allowed to speak, where it's gonna be.
How many people can't come to your funeral?
No, no, no.
Right into that one.
Mark Swift, Farrakhan, coming to his shit.
Nigga, with all due respect-
Stop it.
Stop it.
Whatever.
Stop it.
Stop it.
Stop it.
Hey, shut the fuck up.
You know they're gonna call us.
Shut up.
They're gonna call you.
Stop.
All right, Riz is on.
Please don't bring up the Riz stuff.
Well, go ahead.
No, no, no.
Yeah, so I got, I got-
Y'all don't have those kind of-
Do you think that your wife would uphold the rules?
So you got-
You get that.
I think my wife as well.
Yeah, my funeral will be three days after I die.
Or my burial and all of that.
And then later on, y'all can do-
Y'all meaning, I'm telling this to her, not to y'all.
Like, I was like, y'all could do, like, the family can do, like, a memorial, you know,
a big public thing if you want.
I'm good with that.
But, you know, don't make a big-
I don't want, I don't want it to be a big production.
I spoke to two of my friends about arrangements.
That would be my barber, Jose, many years ago, and Imani.
I asked my barber, yo, in the event that something happened to me, would you be-
would you cut me deceased?
He told me no.
And I asked Imani if he would sing some shit, and he told me no.
But since then, I done been to too many funerals with Imani, so I'm tired of hearing that
Eye on the Sparrow shit.
He do up there.
Yeah, new slap.
Yo, where the new slap?
Yo, you done been friends with somebody for so long-
I can't say that, yeah.
Where you been to a few funerals with him?
His eye!
Yeah, Eye on the Sparrow is his funeral version of Usher Superstar.
Yeah, it is.
Like, he grabbed that mic and-
I'm like, nigga, I've seen this a million times.
I go to the bathroom.
She's played out big.
What do you say to the people that don't follow their husband or their wife's wishes?
Because a lot of- that happens a lot.
And the family has a-
The only reason I think you shouldn't follow somebody's wishes is-
Wow.
There's only one circumstance where I think you should, and that is if I gave you my wishes a long time ago,
and you know my life is substantively different.
For example, if I was like-
If somebody said, I don't want my funeral in a church, and we had those agreements,
and 20 years later, I'm a born-again Christian, you know that, then I'm not going to not have it.
You know what I'm saying?
So you got to use some judgment and common sense about the person.
But in general, do what the person asks.
Do what the person asks.
My family had that argument when my aunt died.
She wanted everybody to wear white.
And my family was like, no, that's stupid, because it's the wintertime.
And we don't all want to go out and buy white.
And I was like, that was her one request.
Like, fucking do it.
Yeah, see, that's something I would do.
Yeah.
It ain't going to kill you.
Yeah.
All right, fine.
Excuse me to have to talk about what I'm about to talk about.
Oh, my God.
It doesn't feel real at all.
Rest in peace to my girl, Ashley Janae.
Rest in peace.
The last part, I was kind of battling with the news of her passing.
And the details were blurry still.
So I wasn't really quite myself.
And I didn't want to jump out there with anything because of ongoing investigations.
And the family grieving and the family mourning.
But shortly after that, somebody took to the internet to kind of give the details of this case.
Ashley Janae, 31 years old, goes to Tanzania on a birthday trip with her boyfriend.
He proposes on the trip.
They look extremely happy.
And then the very next day, she's no longer with us.
That's crazy.
That's crazy to even say.
Word.
I don't even know where to start with this.
I don't, honestly.
I get how this story has, like, all the makings of, like, some real good internet fodder.
Right?
Like, the fucking, the white guy, the trip, and just all the details.
Ashley Young.
They keep calling her, like, a soft life influencer.
They're just saying all these things.
For many of us, this is not just an internet story.
This was somebody that was near and dear to our hearts.
This is somebody that impacted a lot of lives, touched a lot of people.
This is somebody.
This is somebody that was popular.
Like, people knew Ashley.
Like, she was tangible for many of us.
She helped a lot of people get through the pandemic.
When we was on Clubhouse, just acting a fucking fool.
But Ashley was.
It also pains me to see how people are kind of speaking about it all on the internet.
It does.
That was nasty.
But, again, this isn't, like, an internet story for a lot of us.
This is our little sister that we lost.
And the fucking, the irony in it is that even in death, she continues to do what she did throughout her life, which was bring people together.
Like, if you don't know Ashley, Ashley, you couldn't, you couldn't predict where she was going to be or who she was going to be with.
She'll be with the fucking crypto niggas.
One day, she'll be with the Chicago gang niggas.
One day, she'll be with some fucking nerdy, goofy niggas.
Another day, like, she had a heart of gold.
She was, she was sweet.
She just was a guy's girl and a girl's girl somehow.
Like, the dudes wanted her and the girls wanted her.
Like, her energy was just infectious.
She, she was.
She was accepting of us.
She was a great wing woman.
I ain't going to hold you.
Ashley was a foodie.
Ashley liked to shop.
Ashley was an R&B head.
She was the homegirl that your girlfriend would be aware of.
And it was cool for y'all to just run to the R&B concert or run to the R&B party, hop on a flight.
I think we went to the Tank concert in D.C. when we went to the club afterward.
That was the day that they had the dead nigga in the club.
Oh, shit.
Remember they had the dead nigga in the club?
It propped up in the corner.
It propped up in D.C.
Me and Ashley went to that club.
As soon as they took him out of there, boy, it stinked.
It was a smell in that motherfucker.
We had a time in there.
And she was making jokes because as popular as she was, as soon as I stepped in, the promoter was offering me bottles and shit.
She got us in the club, mind you.
Wow.
She got us in the club, but then the promoter started offering me bottles and all this shit.
And then the fucking girls was hollering at me and guys was hollering at her.
And we just had a time.
Ashley would send you the new underground R&B song that you had never heard.
She was just great.
She was great.
She touched a lot of us.
She impacted a lot of us.
She was a sweetheart.
The story was reported that she self-transitioned.
There's an ongoing investigation into that.
I want to be. responsible and not
just coming on here being accusatory and saying what I think happened I want the
parents to be able to grieve and mourn properly and wait till the
investigation is finished to properly vet this thing Ashley took a lot of
pride in being like a caretaker for her siblings for a younger sister Ashley was
a hard worker like some of these things that you read about your friend out
there like Ashley comes from a two-parent household Ashley was never
hard up for she wasn't never hard up for money she was a hostess waitress model
slash video girl in Miami Florida she would take a flight come out here and
fuck with us at the hookah lounge and then take the first flight smoking to
make it back to work to bang these niggas over the head didn't want to
come in there and spend all of this fucking money like she worked reading
some of these things about your friend it's tough it's tough especially when
you know that it is untrue I'm praying for all the people in her life I'm
praying for her friends I'm paying for a family I'm praying for her sisters this
story just brings up so many things that I'm already funny about I've come in
here and shared about how I feel about just dying elsewhere some of the things
that come along with that there's all types of rumors going around because her
boyfriend he did have he did have some money he did have some money there's
rumors of going around about him paying hospitals and him paying the hotel I
will say the story sounds pretty janky I'll say that the story sounds janky the
original the story that was initially reported yeah the story being reported
of of they had an argument had to be separated homeboy got his own room then
he came back and found her hanging made it back in enough time to take her down
from wherever she was hanging from go to a hospital where they say she still was
showing vital signs and had a pulse and it was pronounced dead in a hospital it
does sound weird I didn't didn't make sense to me it does sound weird I'd like
to know if you're telling me that she was hanging herself I'd like to see this
structure I'd like to see where you're saying this happened from if you're
telling me that happened homeboys timing is impeccable to make it there five
minutes later while she still had vital signs there's a lot of weird things
about this shit that again I'm gonna let the investigation play out but we lost an
absolute sweetheart we lost a great great great soul and human being and
somebody that niggas know my faith is in that even with all the shit did you
read now there's tough as it is my faith is in too many people were impacted for a
long time and I'm gonna let the investigation play out but we lost a great great great soul and human being and
propaganda to remain relevant like she was out here she was popular you know
she dubbed you niggas and it's that homegirl weird you know you trust in
their decision in their romantic life right like some good home you got home
girls where you may not understand none of the romantic choices but if that's
your own girl you love her and they vouch for that person Ashley and homeboy
was at my birthday dinner yeah they were at my past my birthday dinner and I
invited Ashley last two years to my birthday dinner so this year I made it a
point to get on the phone like yo this is the year what's up you gonna make it
and she was on some shit like yeah you know just gonna check with my man and I
know we got to drop off the step kids and we got to pick him up for school and
they on spring break and this is it and I'm on the phone like girl for real yo
you plan I'm just saying like she repped the dude like every a lot of people have
an agenda on the internet and I know what it looks like with this white guy
and this young black girl she loved his dude and by all accounts he appeared to
really love her they came they came to the party met him shook his hand and he
came to the party met him shook his hand they sat over there on the side he
moved around too much in the party but uh they came I spoke to Ashley two weeks
ago when people keep saying we don't think that there's any way in the world
that she would do something like this and the parents put out an interview as
well which they echoed the same thing we didn't see any signs and I'm the first
person to know that sometimes you don't have to see any signs in depression like
it can just happen I totally get that I also don't see a world in which this
young woman who was so excited about her man her relationship where she was in
life her birthday her sisters I mean her sister siblings her parents she was she
was in the greatest she was she made she was making plans is what I'm saying like
she had a lot of plans so I'm not saying that that couldn't have happened again
I'll wait for the investigation to to occur but the people that know her and
love her it's tough to believe it is tough to believe if y'all have anything
please well I'm just reading over here according to um BBC they his passport has
been withheld and he is talking to them because before they were saying it
wasn't he wasn't saying anything and I know the parents did come out and say
they've only had that one communication where he told them she's going to the
hospital that's the other part this that's that's weird that's very we
communicated to the parents when you were on your way to the hospital but not
when she was deceased yeah nothing else that's weird that's odd
it's a strange story man I'm not I'm not I'm I'm very suspicious
my antenna is up I don't I get I don't want to make any accusations I don't
want to jump the gun but the reports are developing in a way that seemed
consistent with some theories yeah some theories and some past stories that
we've all seen so yeah I just want the truth to come out and injustice to
prevail man but this is this is this is rough and I hate hate hate hate um
the agenda driven internet conversation about her yeah let her family mourn let her grieve show some
some humanity some decency whatever you think of her and from everything I know from you and
other people who know her she was an amazing person I only met her one time I don't know her
but whatever you think of it what I'm seeing online is disgusting and just saying yeah yeah
I'm just it's incredibly sad well there's people that want to attach themselves to any story that
goes viral there's other people that just are incels there's other people that just are insensitive to
death
yeah some is just miserable yo that too like they they literally are just miserable
and browse the internet just looking for any way to just project that on anything
so something pops up they're going to attach to it and find some negativity
and it's and it's it's regardless of what you guys seen out there you know
you're participating you're becoming the same person that you're accusing her of being meaning
it's one of us you know what I'm saying like enough enough it's disgusting you know where
people I mean and this is just not true yeah I think that at a time when when people were tweeting
certain certain things there was a time for that everything was a phase I don't think I seen Ashley
around Gates around Ross around she was just with Marshall Mantano she shot a video with him in in
Florida like you seen around and she was around us she with people she loved black men yeah yeah it's
important to say that I think it's important to say that she loved black men she just also loved
white she loved men yo she she loved men she loved women she was a just bolt of light
she was energy she she she I can't say enough good and kind things about her in her 31 years on this
earth she's she's lived she's lived she just wanted to travel and shop and eat and listen to
R B and not bother nobody and maybe spread some occasional tea here and there oh my good tea
sister's gone how you holding up emotionally oh I was a wreck last week I was a wreck last week
it's gonna sound really sick to say I probably shouldn't even say it
I was a lot more of a wreck when I was of the belief that she
had her own life
when my beliefs changed a little bit
I was put at a ease that I wasn't before and that's odd what is it
the grief turns to anger a little bit
no no I I curiosity and the unknown that you've been talking to your friend and they were going
through some yeah yeah yeah initially it's anger it's like it's like a guilt on yourself almost
it's like I just spoke to this person I
We fucking asked all the questions.
We fucking kicked it for a long time.
this person was feeling like this and I didn't know was there anything I could
have done yada yada versus somebody not really having a say in in the matter
somebody being powerless over both super unfortunate but uh yeah last week I was
a wreck I was a wreck this week I want to try to gather myself so I can be
there for the family the way that I need to I need to let her family know just
how well-loved this young lady was just how well liked and supported that she is
out here and anything that the family needs I'm all in I think the family need
to be on a plane I think they need to be on it on the first thing smoking out
there I'm sure they're waiting toxicology not did see that that's so
they're trying to get someone but there's a story going on about that yeah
yeah they should absolutely and take it take an invest to get out there with you
yeah
um there's nothing more natural than there's there's nothing more unnatural
than um burying your kid burying your kid outliving your kid so I can only
imagine the pain of having to deal with that under these circumstances yeah yeah
I don't have any any anything for y'all unfortunately I have to tell y'all about
somebody else we lost who was a huge Joe Budden podcast fan
his name was Demetrius McKay Jr Demetrius O'Neill McKay Jr 29 year old innocent bystander Demetrius
McKay was shot in the left arm inside of a Queen's restaurant and bar hangar 11 on Metropolitan Avenue
the bullet went through his arm and struck his heart killing him and his dad's son son I wish
it was me instead of you they got the wrong Dimitri they got the rock in a read what his father had to
say about it but yeah this is just we lost we lost more extended family went to a restaurant
with his girlfriend two come in there shoot the up and and he dies Jesus Jesus so
I want to say prayers and condolences to to his family as well word uh rest in peace Demetrius
McKay rest in peace Junior this is along with the chick-fil-a Chick-fil-a shoot them
shooting in Union Township where I'm going to assume the gang members ran in there and just
started letting off killing one person injuring six this is along with the young lady who took
a trip to Saint Martin and lost her life when she was found dead in a car with the young with
the guy that uh she left her uh she left her sister and her cousin and they were found dead
in the car this is along with the female rapper who was pregnant who was shot in the face four
times in the car like it's horrifying out here it's crazy it's really scary and my heart goes
out to everybody that's grieving and mourning and dealing with this type of loss I know I give the
speech every summer I give it every summer but this summer it just feels like somebody ain't even
here or
you know what I'm saying like it ain't even start yet so just imagine
and then what do you have to go through when your daughter dies abroad
red tape paperwork yeah yo and then if you're not financially in the positions to do certain
stuff I'm sure it limits your options yeah like you're not just going to Ohio my you
going to Africa you got to do you know what I mean that is different and we talking about
the end this is a high-end luxury resort that they were staying at I got so many questions listen I
didn't take a lot of vacations and I fought in there when we checked in like sometimes the
vacation is where you it's where it's where you got to get to some uncomfortable conversations
nobody ever came and separated us nobody ever came and made me check in another room that sounds bad
what type of fight were y'all having in there where you either
felt the need to separate yourself or had to be separated whatever's going on it's in that fight
yeah it's in that fight and the 11 hours in between when she passed and when you did something
I'll find outstanding now and now I'll find it nobody deserves to start they summer this way or
they don't
and while I'm at it like
Ashley had a great sense of humor yo she did dark humor too good good old-fashioned
dark humor like for y'all to psychoanalyze some of these tweets y'all see out there
under the guise of she hates that oh my God it's sickening it's sickening
I wish that I could love you
in such a way
foreign
My mind, I feel alive, blow my mind, I'm satisfied, I'm standing, so must I be, girl you got me up, inside you,
I'm so excited
Makes me wanna shout
all right we should all be in better spirits now somehow it doesn't look like it
ashley used to put me on to the all the young slang
who gonna put me on to the young slang now oh she lost her mind when that p
shit was out oh it was driving me crazy oh you're not p you're not p shut your ass up
Oh, my God.
Ashley, we miss you.
We love you.
See you on the other side, man.
Rest in peace.
Rest in peace again.
If you want something to take your mind off of it,
maybe watch Wild Rose.
What is Wild Rose?
It's a new TV series.
Have y'all seen this?
No.
Oh, Mario.
Starting on Mario.
That's not on my Fios.
It's because it's on the Black Channel.
You got Fios?
I do have Fios.
And then I got all the little apps, too.
I spent way too much money on programming.
You know, we went to Mark House for the kickback.
We had just, there was only one TV in the little side room,
and the older heads had that room unlocked.
Yeah, we was not allowed there.
He just had mad libraries where a TV should be.
You were in my basement with a 90-inch TV.
Yeah, you put us there.
It wasn't on, it was just books.
Yeah.
And I didn't even see no TV.
Y'all keep saying books like it's a lot of books.
Right, like it was like burning crosses.
There were books everywhere.
Well, when we was playing Spades, it was books everywhere on my side.
That's why I didn't see the TV.
It was too busy with my foot in your ass.
Did you see all the sandbags next to you?
Sandbags?
Oh, shit.
Look, this is pre-K Spades.
Anyway, no, tell us about it.
What did you see on Comcast?
I think y'all should watch it.
I think you should watch it.
So we started with, did you say on Comcast?
The Dish.
What's the name of it?
He got Dish.
He got direct TV still.
No, the first one is free, so you have to sign up for the network.

When we talk about death row and shit.
Hey, Snoop Dogg's new album,
10 to Midnight, available right now.
Look what you did.
Check your DSPs.
Oh, my God.
Jay Hancock and Dave Hollister
also have new projects out.
Thank you, bitch.
Thank you.
Anyway, so I couldn't watch the whole series
because I wasn't going to pay for it,
but I watched the first episode.
It is actually not as bad as I thought.
so must I be, girl you got me up, inside you, so must I be, girl you got me up, inside you,
It's terrible, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be.
It all centers around the acting talent of Omarion, which is better than you would think.
Friend of the show.
Yeah, I love Omarion.
That's my guy.
He plays, and it's a role he was able to kind of slide into because it's very believable.
Slide?
Yeah, he plays a sort of very charismatic, trained assassin who doubles at the beginning as a club bouncer.
who's able to kill large numbers of people with his bare hands
while looking for his wife and child who have gone missing.
And he's forced to, while looking for them,
also become like a security for a very popular R&B singer.
I can't wait to watch this.
He talked about it when he came up here.
I was about to say, I think he promoted this shit.
talked about it yeah did he say it was good i don't recall mark okay okay do you say it's good
i think it's great oh okay it sounds when i saw it i said this shit needs to be seen by everybody
this shit is special um i'm gonna check it out there's some seasoned actors in there that really
advanced like vanessa k williams and other people like that um from soul food the other vanessa
williams oh i was thinking about emily k williams uh no no no vanessa vanessa williams but not i
saved the best for last vanessa williams but soul food vanessa williams and this reminds me of some
it's it's i'm just saying if y'all looking for a tv show the first one was free i wasn't ready
to pay for the next seven but this one was it was are you gonna pay for the next seven um i'm
having some financial difficulty i see i see so i can't um but i will tax time what's the name of
it it's called rose what wild rose
wild rose okay and what but can we watch it again i don't remember the name of the network
got it yeah that shit is on a red stick that shit is on fucking dvd the fire y'all this in the black
network i am gonna check it out though yeah i am gonna check it out all jokes aside you sold me
the first episode was better than i thought it was going to be i thought it was going to be like
bad tyler perry wait did you say i gotta pay for this episodically no you get so basically you
sign up for the network whatever the cost for network you get all the the network channels
but they're trying to sell the network i guess by giving you one free episode of this
you
oh god of this series oh all right i'm gonna have to take your word on what's going on in this one
that's what i said just watch the first one for free that's all i did maybe no because then they
might make me watch the rest you can't afford 699 or 799 or whatever i can't afford nothing
tax time yo that's a tax time oh that's true tax time is is i can't afford nothing i'm cutting
channels same yeah yeah i'm not using this one how about you flip
what that should be the end of you and trinidad for a little while
that's that's for sure sit him down that's for sure tax time hope no no no what
what shouldn't be no more trinidad trips for a little while why that's for sure i'll tell you
that one what are you talking about but you shot your load you did it you made it back safe you
home your family's loving you you won't be back out there no time soon i seen the trinidad niggas
yo flip you showed love you showed love you showed love you showed love you showed love
that was awesome but yeah you won't be back i'm gonna go back out there in june again are you
really what june june coming up june and i'm going out there in august i got some i'm doing bro
i'm committed to the work in trinidad i'm committed to what i'm doing no i had nothing to
do with those that work out in trinidad talking about that work in trinidad i'm committed to
seeing that the community center gets built i'm committed to uh
using all my resources in order to do it that's that's a new that's a that's a new great
black people line committed the community center like we're here we've seen that's the building fund
we've seen power one good that's the building fund the community center why y'all gotta do that man
shout out to saint paul no what's it what's up what is it what is the community bravo the community
center is a center that's been abandoned for about 10 years and the people in that neighborhood a lot
of people in trinidad do not go with saint paul because of the stigma that surrounds it you know
we had a lot of we had shot the ian dunlap
well we had a hard time a very hard time getting people to even want to come in
and participate even when we offered them money because the neighborhood is just
considered bad out there so we got through it and a lot of people came in and they saw how it was and
going up there and seeing the community center excuse me uh that was sitting there for about
11 years unused and just is using to do whatever they want i decided to put my resources
to fix it up that's what how much does it cost to rebuild oh but that's that's private
oh i want to support it yeah oh sure we'll talk behind the scenes oh usually when people do a
public fundraising it's the most talk behind the scenes no no no what i'm saying is that i didn't
do the i'm not doing it publicly but you're not fundraising no i'm not fundraising but also also
i'm not fun i'm gonna do it on my own pocket and if anybody wants to help i'll tell my niggas what
to do oh it's like that close from a distance thing it's not close from the distance but what
i'm saying is that trinidad a lot of people even from over there they they look into these things
like what are you coming out here for you washing your money there's a lot of that come around
this that i've been dealing with speculations as far as like why do you want to fix a community
center out of your out of your pocket in this community and why do you because it's about the
children it's about giving them the opportunity it's about when i went over there to trinidad
the people in that area where the guy that passed away years ago showed me a lot of love and it's
about the people over there that showed me a lot of love this is my favorite well my favorite why
y'all laughing for it that's the problem they got off i'll turn up on you we let you talk for 30
minutes let me get a word in what i love about he threw that into that who know what i love
about scammers in general not not no no no what i love about it is they reveal themselves
when they use too many words right like i know y'all i got you serious yeah the children
that is disgusting you can't even give no money for the prom you sucker shut your ass up niggas
shut your ass up niggas it's about the kids out there man i got caribbean
background caribbean roots man we got it all right well what else what else we got
somebody wrote the comments yo why you do for niggas in the states
that comes to me out like queens there's a lot of violence in queens yeah yeah well i'm scared
of queens your community to answer to answer your question you hear flumar oh shit oh shit
when that shit gets built and finished for the children
what's the scam i'm not getting any money from anybody what's i don't know nor am i trying to
figure it out i think you're doing something from the kindness of your heart i think so you have my
support on it thank you and i think that he's going to be out in trinidad a lot uh until it
gets built even if it takes 30 years for it to get built he's going to be out there in trinidad
all the time making sure that everything is done i think the funny thing i think at least 18 months
i think you're building your shit next to my mic i got a community center for the children right
for the children hey y'all niggas is disgusting instead of supporting me and my initiative you
guys sit here oh all right you blew it just now oh now you just get your stuff what does initiative
mean i don't know that's why we're not buying it what does it mean you know what i'm saying what
does it mean you used it right you did good no queen it's the first letter of your first name
and the first letter of your last name and bubble gum to y'all
yo wait what is it in bubble gum look at these niggas
what else needs our attention man um to answer your question did you see any good tv yes rooster
this week rooster is an amazing show it is a amazing you like it i love it i haven't watched
steve carell is i think the humor of it is great i think he's a great lead uh there's some great
characters it's interesting it's off the beaten path so i i think y'all might some people might
like it did anybody see dtf finale oh boy yes sir go to starbucks freeze gotta leave
should we wait for you well how much of a y'all gotta be to not see a seven episode order
right it's seven it's seven episodes so what's the morning on the show i seen you
pull out a game boy and watch a show niggas i see you pull out the little game boy playstation and
watch your favorite show um what'd you think weird i knew what you're very weird oh you saw
the finale it was weird it was weird it was definitely weird it was weird i think the story
was more about like i know it's gonna sound weird but like male middle-aged loneliness than about
a murder or anything you know what i mean yeah this was the most not about a murder murder mystery
right ever and a few by episode five i kind of got a good idea for what happened to him me too i had
that feeling too but then my initial feeling was that the stepson did it and then towards the end
it was like oh maybe he did do it because they threw that little yeah i mean i think i think um
every time i thought somebody did it when they start investigating the person i was like all
right they didn't do it because i either it was going to give us a cliffhanger that we didn't
think about at all or it was going to be what happened you know what i'm saying so that was
weird though it was weird i almost cut it off though oh no i almost got it everything in me
not to cut the teeth i had to power through it oh that was the whole dancing the uh underwear
scene the whole episode bro it was weird i was i was gonna cut it off but i knew like it was work
for me at that point like yo i gotta watch it because i know you're gonna discuss it i wanted
to cut that off and he kept making his sound when he was talking to the cops he kept making
it sound like he went there to suck his friend's dick he did he did i was going to give him the joy
that he never had wait to arouse him yeah like then they stripped down to their drawers and they
was using the game that we've used before oh let me see you oh gee you got a nice foundation
want to see my foundation i'm sure i have back in my day it was just a little it was
funny i've had some really good friends in my life never ever would this cross my mind like
yo you look lonely bro dog that made me be like i don't want to live in middle america
that part too no lie like i'm cool fam like i i could go outside and go get some hookah
them life just seemed like this mundane rut of living i was like but again i don't think that
the show was meant to be real life i think again it was supposed to just be a super exaggerated
of dudes being fucking old and married
and tired of their wives or some shit.
I think that was kind of the gist of the show.
They just put it extra to the fucking left.
That shit was weird.
It was weird.
It was 100% weird.
I'm cool.
Yeah.
Yo, have you ever asked to see my foundation?
I'm going to clunk your motherfucker.
I don't ever want to see it.
I'm going to clunk your fucking. I didn't want to see your foundation when I saw it.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, this is good, yo.
This guy always want to fuck something up, bro.
Oh, I'm just saying.
I'm good.
No, that shit was. Yeah.
And that episode, it dragged too long.
It did.
It dragged, yo.
Like, that shit was bad.
I was like, nah, I'm cool.
They could have clipped this in six.
Yeah, they could have.
Who am I?
Yeah.
They wanted to dance together.
Go ahead.
Go ahead and have a dance.
I'm good.
Yeah.
But the murder mystery with a guy that dies everybody loved.
It was like the nicest human being in the entire planet.
Yeah, there was nothing to uncover here.
It just made me sad that he felt like he didn't have anything to live for anymore.
I think that was the. Yeah.
That was when he was trying to drive home.
He just did it in the weirdest way humanly possible.
No, see, I didn't get that part.
I don't think he went there for that.
I think he went there for some sort of, I don't know.
And then once he saw the son had seen him. Oh, that's. Oh, yeah, I agree.
It was like, yo, I don't think that was his intent when he went there.
No, to kill himself.
Yeah, yeah.
Although he did pour too much of the shit in there, seemingly.
He did.
So. On some. He must have had some premeditated. Yeah, like. Good point.
That's a good point.
And even though it ended, he ended the way that he ended, I thought that was extremely
fucked up of the wife to say to him when she was unattracted to him.
Oh, for sure.
Get off me.
Oh, just get off.
You don't do it for me anymore.
Like, why are you even. That's crazy.
Why are you even talking to him like that?
Yeah, that's crazy.
Like, that's your husband.
Word.
Like, there has to be a kinder way for you to express this.
He already was feeling. Feeling like shit.
It was fucked up a little bit.
He was already fucked up.
But great show.
And you already giving homeboy his man some box.
Right.
So now you're going to sit in there knowing that his man is in the closet and you're going
to just. It seemed performative.
It seemed like she was doing it because she knew old boy was in the closet watching.
It's like. But then she all day gave her the background of she grew up with a fucked up family.
She was stealing toilet paper.
So I think that was kind of what they were. Like, she's not right either because of how she was raised.
The show was kind of deep.
It was super fucking weird.
I'm with you.
It wasn't the deepest for me.
The male bonding thing was the deepest part for me.
Like, they just look like some PWT.
Like, but she had to steal some toilet paper.
Gotcha.
Gotcha.
The show that I wish I could talk with y'all about is Imperfect Woman.
I watch it.
I watch it.
I'm caught up.
Oh, y'all watch the show?
Yes.
I watch it.
I watch that bird ass shit.
Y'all watch this shit and we've waited this long to drag these heifers through the mud?
I told you.
I told you I'm watching this shit.
Oh, yeah.
We are.
Imperfect Woman.
We are.
Imperfect Woman.
Hold up, hold up, hold up.
The last episode is what?
Hold up.
Listen, listen.
The last episode, she came out the driveway and Shorty was sitting on the corner?
Or was it one after that?
I don't remember that part.
I'm all caught up.
I'm all caught up.
No, so I don't.
The next one will be on tonight when I get home.
I don't know if I'm, what, Imperfect Woman?
Yes.
What was the last episode?
Imperfect Woman is on Apple TV.
You figure that out on your own time.
Imperfect Woman is on Apple TV and it's with-
Kerry Washington.
Kerry Washington.
Kerry Washington.
Kerry Washington.
From Handmaid's Tale and a bunch of other people that we've seen in various-
Yeah.
Homeboy from Billions.
And the show starts because one of the girls in the friend group dies.
Yeah.
And now they're backtracking to figure out how she died.
And all of us are taken aback because Kerry Washington ends up fucking Shorty's husband.
Yeah.
But then as the show goes on, everybody's fucking-
Everybody's fucking-
Husband.
And it's like, yo, what the hell is going on here?
Worst friend group ever.
Little America.
Nah, that's rich America.
Yeah.
That ain't middle.
Ain't nothing middle about these motherfuckers.
You see their cribs?
Only one.
Okay, the one is-
Yeah, all right.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Fair enough.
But how the deceased girl ended up fucking the white girls-
I made a joke about it in the last pod with the work situation.
That was-
Yeah.
That's crazy.
That's absolutely crazy.
But we keep saying that when you work together and there's some deficiencies at home because
Shorty's husband wasn't-
Drinking scotch in the morning.
And he was fucked up.
Yeah.
And homeboy was the right type of nerd for her and had the same commonalities for her
and one thing turned to another.
Not just that.
Her husband wasn't seeing her no more.
You could tell.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
She was feeling invisible in the house.
I do want to mention one thing-
She started to get there and then niggas started paying a little bit of attention to her.
I went back.
I want to go back for just a minute and freeze.
This is not going to fuck you up.
But I read an interview with the creator of DTS.
And he was talking about-
This is not going to-
This is no spoiler.
But he was just talking about how people look at these kind of apps for dating people as
no strings attached, no baggage, but there's always baggage once you sleep with someone
and feelings get involved.
Anyway, that applies here as well because she thought this dude was just some safe dick
and he fell in love.
Freeze.
You can unplug.
Pause.
That's true.
You're good.
Yeah.
When she went to break it off and he nutted up, it fucked me.
I was like, huh?
Yeah.
How you catch an attitude?
Like, what?
I just know that if more men were watching this Imperfect Women show, then more of us
would be saying, these hoes are some hoes.
Yeah, for sure.
It's birds.
It's all birds.
Birds shit.
This is a bird fest.
But whatever.
Great show.
Comes out Wednesday.
Check it out.
Yeah, I'm enjoying it.
I mean, it's trash, but it's kind of good trash.
It's a good trash.
Yeah, it's good trash.
It's a good trash.
It's like my wife reads all those romance novels.
It seems like this is just that.
On TV.
Emily Steele.
Yeah.
I don't think it's Emily Steele.
I don't know what I'm saying.
Danielle Steele.
Danielle Steele.
Whatever.
Did y'all see that they put out the trailer for the Kourtney Kemp show on Netflix, The
Fake Power?
No.
I saw the poster for it.
Oh, my God.
Y'all got to see it.
What's it called?
I didn't see the trailer.
It looks, oh, my.
Because I saw people was getting on Netflix asked because they didn't say Kourtney Kemp.
They just said, from the creator of Power.
And they was like, yo, you can say Shorty name.
It looks an absolute mess.
It looks like the story of Power just with worse actors than Power.
Oh, shit.
It looks like the cookie cut.
It looks like the Michael Jackson movie of Power.
Nemesis?
Damn.
Nemesis.
It's an absolute mess.
I'm not saying I'm not going to watch it.
That's how bad it looks.
It's like the American show.
Also, the Avengers Doomsday trailer dropped.
Really?
Anybody see it?
I didn't see it.
I didn't see it.
No.
Y'all don't give a fuck.
Anyway.
No.
You don't give a fuck about that.
I thought, freezes are Marvel guys.
When did it drop, bro?
I didn't see that.
I mean, I saw it two days ago.
Doomsday trailer?
Yes.
Doomsday trailer.
It's out.
Google it.
Ask Rob.
You sure you didn't get AI'd?
Yeah, I think it's AI'd.
No.
Because I said that, too, when I saw it.
I was like, it seems a little early, but then as it kept playing, I was like, oh, shit,
it's real.
I had to turn my phone sideways to get the widescreen.
And it opened up with Thor on the, oh, there was a dark time and his shield.
And I was like, oh, shit.
Thor's about to die.
Thor's about to die.
Then they kept going.
It was great.
It was good.
No, it's out.
It's out.
It's a real trailer.
Damn, freeze, you slipping.
No, it's not.
It's not the real trailer, yo.
Yo, that is not the real trailer, my nigga.
You got got.
They got you, nigga.
I got, I got got, too.
That's why.
There's a fake Doomsday trailer.
They be using, they be using, they be using the voices from other shits and putting it,
yeah.
They got you.
Hey, y'all niggas in a chokehold, man.
That is one of the better trailers I've seen to be non-official.
That's why I said, freeze, didn't say anything.
Yeah, that's why I'm like, yo, nah.
Because the only thing they dropped on Marvel was just like little snippets of the.
Right.
Of the.
They dropped teasers.
They did a Steve Rogers teaser.
Yeah.
It was like Steve Rogers will appear in Doomsday.
A Thor teaser.
All right, if it's fake, I don't care.
If it's fake, I don't care.
I'll wait.
Sorry about that.
Seeing some fake shit.
I read, I read a report.
I haven't seen it yet, but I read a report that Wilder has a new sneaker out.
Yeah, it's dope.
I haven't had a chance to see the sneaker, but.
I saw it.
Same, I didn't see it yet.
Yeah.
He shipped, he sold out.
He shipped literally, I saw him in a U-Haul.
The U-Haul was full of sneakers.
Shout out to Wilder.
Shout out to Wilder.
I think it's an amazing idea.
You hear these niggas?
You hear them?
Shut the fuck up.
We didn't bring it up to support him.
Oh, my man.
We brought it up for the shoes ass.
We some bitch ass niggas.
It's just such a good man.
I know.
Man, they're bitch ass niggas.
I didn't see the sneakers.
I couldn't speak to how it looked.
I'm just glad to see black entrepreneurship.
I saw the sneaker.
It's fire.
How would you describe it?
I like it.
Is it like a, I saw you like when Hulk came out.
I got an order in already.
That's what's up.
I think that.
He's supportive.
I think it's dope.
He talked about how he was trying to get a whole bunch of endorsement deals, and they
was taking him in the room.
And he was, because I remember he had almost, I think he almost had a Hoka deal at one point.
And he was taking them in, they was taking them in the room, and for whatever reason,
they ain't sign them.
They ain't get it.
He ain't inked a deal.
And he was like, yo, I'm going in these offices, and I'm seeing the factories, and I'm seeing
all that shit.
And I was like, yo, why would I not try and put my own shit out?
I'm going to just take what I learned in those rooms and put my own shit out.
I think it's fire.
I think that they sold out already.
Yeah.
I heard on the website that at least three of the styles were sold out.
I just didn't see which ones.
All three colorways.
I didn't see.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
Yo, man.
Markets us.
I can't pile with Markel.
This is my last pile with him.
What is he talking about?
Exactly.
I don't get it.
Absolutely.
Flip, what's the joke?
Nigga, what you asking me?
Nigga, ask him.
You're usually the joke whisperer.
Nah, nah, no, no.
You the Wallow whisperer, nigga.
I love Wallow.
Shout out to Wallow.
Shout out to his sneakers.
Of course I do.
And I think everybody should support him.
I just haven't seen him.
So make sure you go buy a pair.
I'm supporting him.
I am going to buy this nigga.
He got a side pair for you.
Oh, then I'm going to be buying them.
Wallow, send my hotels and airplanes shoe up here.
Airplanes and hotels.
Airplanes and hotels shoe up here.
I am going to wear it, and I will support.
But I am seeing some of the funny stories online,
and I'm laughing even though I'm with a black entrepreneurship.
What are the stories?
Now wouldn't even be the right time to highlight some of those negative stories.
Not when a black person is really putting his foot down,
making his mark in the sneaker business for the very first time.
Well, let's buy them.
Let's buy them.
Let's support them.
Let's make sure they sell out.
When they read,
when they do another shipment,
let's sell them out too.
That's what's up.
Wear them balcony pics, all that shit.
Right.
Ish, I'm practicing being a good man.
Why you always look at me and shake your head like you're Shane?
Because listen now,
some of the sneaker dudes out there,
they came to me in the past years,
like the niggas that make the sneakers.
I am.
What's up?
This could be you, yours.
Like, yo, with respect.
I ain't even into sneakers like that no more, dog.
I don't wear sneakers.
Yo, Kanye put out that fire ass red Nike Yeezy
and ever since, everybody got a dance.
That red October?
Yeah, they trying to,
they want to get a influencer or rapper or anybody with the sneaker makers.
And I think it's a great idea if you catch it.
So shout out to Wallo, I hope he does.
And I like that he's getting a bigger slice of the pie
by not just going with,
getting like a brand deal,
but actually having a. It's his, it's their shit.
Yeah, somebody else that says they came up with a similar. Initiative.
It said they came up with a similar design and. Can I see it?
Let me see.
Hey, Wallo, you know you're a friend of the show,
but you look at these jokes, nigga.
This is a funny sneaker.
What the fuck is this shit going on?
When y'all don't laugh, it make me look worse.
I don't know, I don't know.
I just don't get the joke because I haven't seen the sneaker.
What the fuck is this nigga laughing at?
All right, come on.
Yeah, I just don't know it.
All right, Trump and Jesus.
I was going to say, hold your head.
Yo, we really let Fat Joe buy that Donald Trump sneaker.
Maybe he bought that Donald Trump sneaker, too.
You're talking about I'm a collector?
I don't know.
There was a Donald Trump sneaker?
I didn't know that either.
Yeah.
There was a Donald Trump anything that he could sell, to be clear.
I just wouldn't throw a sneaker.
That's crazy.
I mean, it makes sense.
It doesn't surprise me.
I think he just bought the Trump phone.
Never got it.
Trump coin.
I don't know if I ever got my motherfucking Lonzo Balls.
You didn't.
I bought two.
You didn't.
I bought a bunch of motherfuckers.
Then I moved.
Yeah, that's what it was.
You know, black people don't do the. Well, no, you speak for me.
I don't do the change of address shit when I'm supposed to.
That's what it was.
Mad male to the old grade.
Come on, what else you got?
They'll figure it out.
Yeah, where do you think you're at that you could do this?
No, I'm looking for the other. I'm pussy?
You got two phones?
That's subjective.
Two phones?
Oh, shit.
Oh, shit.
No.
Fuck for me.
That was rude.
Don't clap for me, nigga.
That was excellent.
That was a good one.
You said, don't clap for me.
You ain't a SEAL.
I said, SEAL, fuck out of here.
No, I'm just saying, I was trying to look.
I wanted to talk about. You know, SEAL.
Yo, what's up with you, yo?
I said, that was a good joke.
Yeah, let's get it.
Why you looking?
You looking to say something back at me?
I don't have nothing to say.
You got it.
I have absolutely nothing to say.
You got it.
Come on, Trump Jesus, Mark.
Come on, give it to us.
You know it's your bag, Mark.
For King Harris.
That's your bag, too.
I was thinking more to King Harris' arrest.
Just, you know, hold your head to King Harris.
He was arrested in a Pikachu outfit.
You know what I saw?
Yes.
He was arrested in Atlanta.
I believe so.
Drug possession charges, unfortunately.
Ah, yeah.
And he was wearing a Pokemon onesie at the time.
I was just trying to understand what happened.
Ice is our resident Pokemon expert as well.
And onesie expert, yeah.
That's true, too.
Oh, yeah, I forgot Freeze went at onesie.
It was Pikachu.
Oh, shit.
It was the same shit.
That's why I'm like. Free, what they saying, Free?
I don't know what they saying, but I don't follow nothing with that nigga.
I was talking about the onesie.
I'm waiting for a statement.
I'm waiting for the press release.
I think his statement was, fuck the police, if I recall.
Oh, good for him.
There you go.
Getting pulled over for drug possession is stupid, man.
Yeah, I agree.
If he's not intoxicated or inebriated, he just has drugs.
I think he had weed.
I think he had a weed pen.
Yeah, it's like weed.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
So how did he pull. He had a vape pen.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's some dumb shit.
Or they saw him with a vape pen and pulled him over.
He was doing 60 in a 45.
Okay, so you got pulled over.
That's why you got pulled over for something else.
They saw a firearm in the car, which, again, I don't know the laws in Georgia, but a lot
of motherfuckers down there carry guns.
Oh, no.
And so they asked him to get out of the car.
They said he refused, and so they pulled him out of the car.
Okay, so when you hear all the extra stuff in there. I gotta be the one to say it?
That shit makes sense.
You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.
Why didn't they just give him a speeding ticket?
Why?
Why do you have to resist in all of this shit they put. Never mind, because it's going to sound like. Never mind, fuck it.
No, no.
Nah, y'all. I don't want to put you in a position to sound like. I don't know what the law is in Georgia, but. I mean, they didn't get him on gun charges, so clearly he was. And they would have loved to if they could have. I gotta send y'all some of the poor guys and y'all algorithm.
I gotta send y'all some of the all-star JR stories.
Y'all over here.
Y'all over here looking at fucking T.I.'s unnamed. Did you see the. The dude that bent in?
Yes.
The who, that who?
You brought it up.
You gotta tell them that.
I'm not.
I'm not telling them.
I'm cool with it.
They're dancing, they're doing. I don't report on none of that type of stuff.
Yeah, nah, I'm cool with it.
But once y'all start talking about King Harris getting arrested in the onesie,
I gotta send y'all the all-star JR shit to liven up your timeline.
I've seen the all-star JR shit.
But I'm not with that, and I think it should stop.
But again, who am I to tell somebody how to troll
after you try to fucking kill him or rob him or anything like that?
I'm out of my business.
And a Pokemon onesie is that way I'm out of touch with that generation
or is that what young men people are wearing now?
Ice.
Furious.
Well, he ain't young, but. No.
It was that or the girl cowboy from Toy Story.
It was a last-minute costume, and I was going to a costume party.
Okay.
So I didn't have much option here.
Gotcha.
There was hoes there, so. You could be a cowgirl.
No.
You could be Pikachu in front of the hoes.
Oh, yes.
It worked?
It worked.
What year was this?
Don't worry about it.
It was a long, long, long time ago.
Back in his 20s.
Even before Pokemon came out.
Yeah, the Mario joint, so I didn't know why you. No, this was way before then.
Oh, good God.
Way before then.
I wasn't even living over here.
Yeah, I was back a long time ago.
Yeah, that's true.
Yeah.
Back in your 20s.
Where you lived at?
In another state.
In around here.
PA, shacking up with some lady.
And he ain't tell the girl about it.
I bet your nigga's going to jump you.
Wait, wait, wait.
Oh, what'd you say?
You got to rat him.
Shacking up with some lady.
Oh, no, he's done that.
He ain't tell the girl.
Not to your current girl, no.
No.
I ain't rat to your current girl.
There's nothing to rat to my current girl at all.
I love missing pieces.
There's nothing to rat to my current girl.
Even if it was, I wouldn't tell her.
But there isn't, though.
She ain't going to cry in front of me.
But yeah, there's nothing to rat about.
And if it was, I wouldn't be the one.
Uh-uh.
All right.
But that PA ice.
PA ice.
Nigga that drive trucks, right?
Huh?
He drive trucks in PA and shit.
Yeah.
You was ratting on PA ice?
I'm sure I probably ratted on ice before.
For some point, for entertainment purposes.
See?
Entertainment purposes.
It's a man.
Pod practice.
What?
It was pod practice.
I'm going to get my renewal.
So I open up my phone, and motherfucking YouTube tell me that they upped the price.
I hit OK.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I hit OK fast, dude.
Immediately.
Pay that for the year.
They only wanted a little extra $2?
I don't care.
I use YouTube way too much to be sent through ads.
YouTube is, that's where the premium, that's the premium subscription I'm paying for.
Yes.
I'm saying, you were the reason why I did it.
He was like, because I wasn't paying for none of that shit.
He's like, yo, YouTube, do it.
Freeze.
Don't give a fuck what I'm talking about.
No, he don't.
He don't.
He just go right.
That's why I rat on him.
No.
I'm just giving, honestly, I'm just giving y'all a taste of how I feel when I talk.
Y'all talk over me.
Oh, man.
That's all.
So every now and then, I'm going to do it back.
Oh.
That's fact.
Every now and then.
That's fact.
We can't interrupt you, Freeze.
You too passionate.
No, no, no, no, no.
I didn't know YouTube charged, my nigga.
You can't.
You watch like, you watch Napster still.
Listen to Napster.
You download on Napster.
Y'all let me download on Napster.
Yo, it's just so 50, yo.
This is my main man, yo.
So you get ads on your YouTube?
I barely be on YouTube.
Oh, well, that's fine.
Where you be at?
Where you spend most of your time?
Outside.
Wherever the AI is.
Touching grass.
Really working.
Grass is what we call it.
Take the GR.
You sure the grass is real?
Yeah, the GR can leave that.
Grass.
I just renewed my fucking Zeus.
Hell yeah.
Congratulations.
How about you?
Zeus cost $40 for the year.
They get that.
They get that.
That's, yeah, that guy had that.
They get that.
You watch it heavy?
You on it heavy?
I get my money's worth on Zeus, for sure.
On YouTube?
I used to always remind me
Of the 5th Heartbeat
That was trying to keep the group together
The pastor nigga
Choir boy
Choir boy
I used to seem like the scamming deacon
What?
I don't got like scamming
Pastor vibes to y'all
Like one day he would own his own church
And be up
Nah but he would be like a sincere one
When he leave the pod game he gonna buy an old church
I can see that in the beginning
And do what?
Preach
Get my ministry out
I can see it actually
Get my ministry out
I should go to church
What you gonna do when you leave the pod game?
What I did before I came in the pod game
Oh I thought you meant
Sell drugs to the community
Oh shit
Now that's right
Just so we clear
The house shit is a front
And that too
You gonna open up a family dollar
Or some shit like that
We only know he got a house cause he come in here and like
Yo my tenant
Yo I had to fix the sheet
That's cold work
That's really Custies
Oh shit
Custies
He's a scamming realtor
No he's not
That's what happens
Mark you going back to television?

And they moving to DC?
I would
I didn't even consider
That the move to DC could benefit me
But if Harvey happens to be watching this
Help
TMZ moving to DC?
Oh I thought you were looking at it
Like the firing of Van would help you
Big Van been going for years
Shout out to Van
Love Van
But no I mean
And I would never leave here
This is
I love it here
I thought in addition to
Yeah yeah yeah
Fire Van
Huh?
What'd you say Ash?
Van got fired or he quit?
Yeah he was let go about
Maybe a decade ago

Go ahead I'll pick him up
Pick him up in a month
In a month
I almost made the call

So much is gonna become clear
I just said it to you man
She listens to the podcast
Yeah nigga shit

Nigga's a fool
Nigga's a fool
Nigga's a fool
Shit

Shit
I don't like that part
We gonna get to cross triangulate
You know the shit the bitches do when they come woman to woman
When they come to you woman to woman
I'ma do it
I went in the house on May 14th
I stopped by there
I saw the progress
I get the updated pictures
Updated pictures
Went and touched some grass
Bought some acres in D.C.
No not acres I'm working on it though
I know you are
You've been in D.C. a lot too
Talking about yo my dad was on the police force
Out here
That's his dad
He out there talking to the mayor
Telling yo Rod sent me out
Yo where's Cesar at that did all that house bullshit
Is he in jail
I don't be getting an update for when niggas go in jail
Why would you
Oh you only get that when you
Exactly
Exactly
It's hard to get a nigga once they already transferred everything to they mom name boy
Hey that shit ain't never coming back
The victim's being courted
Nigga that money is a watch
We don't have it
It's crazy
I think they made me pay some shit even when they gave me community service
Of course
You get a fine with that
You get a fine with that
That was some bull shit
And court costs
Yo you really was out there picking up leads
Yeah I was out there picking up leads
Yeah I ain't finished though like a G
I ain't finished
I had a few hours left
If they come get me now over that that's crazy
Yo I ain't start
For real
How you get that off
You know how you got it off
Fucking razz
It's two things
Money
Fucking razz
You know how you got it off
You need to be on Nemesis
You know how you got it off
Let me guess
It was the lady throwing it
It was a lady right
I'm gonna be the other ghost
It was a woman right
Go ahead and drink some water
It was a woman
Nigga mad thirsty
The person that gave you community service
That was in charge
Was it a woman
Yeah
Wipe your eyes nigga
Wipe your contacts boy
I don't remember
But what's the relevance
The relevance is
Ain't no topic
So you the topic
I got a topic
Hold on nigga
I'm sorry
Yeah mute her
Anytime it's a woman that's running something
You find your way to get right through it boy
Oh
Okay
Yeah I think that's fire
I mean
Put a word in for me
I'm a nice guy
You said what
Women don't really compete with you as much
As other men
Farse
Unrelatable
So I go to fucking Michael Paul's birthday get together
On Saturday night
I saw it
Shindig
Jilla guy
Yeah
Vibe
Boy one thing Michael Paul ain't lost the ability to do
Is curate
A vibe
And all Michael Paul people
Are cool good people
And Michael Paul is married now
So the joints that's coming in
Is like
Free joints
Available
But at this age
The whole friend group
My cousins
Everybody that's coming in
Is married
Or long term relationship
Right
So everybody's just in there
Really just being good people
Sure
Until a group went outside
To go have a little smoke
Like some of the fellas
And Dana
And shout out to Dana
Just some of the people
The cool kids went outside a little bit
Just to talk
I'm out there telling my cousin Mo
Y'all ain't gonna hold you dog
When you faithful
And the woman
Weather break
Just
Being social
You hear that
You hear that
And a dog in you still
That you gotta suppress
I concur
Like when the fine joints
Fuck
When the fine joints is around
And you used to really be about that
You could hear
You hear
You hear your
The dog inside you
Trying to
Muscle memory
It's muscle memory
It's muscle memory
Whatever
And the chicks is just being good people
Talking to you like
Hey
How you doing
Everything is good
You like
When the vibes is right
And some wine is
You hear it trying to come out of you
But you faithful
No
What you're doing is
They not trying to be good
They'll say one of the phrases
That's a hook, line, and sinker phrase
And you gotta
Dodge it
You have to dodge it
But you hear the dog
When they throw that jab
You would've slipped the jab counter
Yo
You know what I'm saying
You gotta eat it
Yo it's tough
It's terrible
It's tough suppressing your inner dog
When the weather is nice
And wine is flowing
And your cousin brought
A whole bunch of fine joints
And the other thing about Michael Paul
He'll still be friends
With the girl
That I kicked it to
Dated for a week
And then stopped talking
So 30 years later now
They coming in
You rich
No but it
But I left unceremoniously
So it's awkward
I get it
It's still weird
Like as soon as they come in here
Come like
Oh there's Joey
There's Joe
Talk to Joe
Let me talk to Joey
There he is
Michael Paul
Remember he left you at
Juniors
Then Michael Paul got good friends
So it's like
They like got careers and shit
So as he's talking
To one of the girls
She has a child
Who's born August 31st
It's my birthday
So Michael Paul
Is calling himself
Doing the social thing
He's like
Joe this is
This is my cousin Joe
This is
Let's call her Tasha
This is Tasha
Tasha has a son
Born on your birthday too
Then he leaned over to Tasha
He said
I told Tasha
That yo
This nigga
Is gonna do
Whatever the fuck
He want
He gonna have problems
Cause his birthday's
August 31st
Like he's gonna be
A little off
In the head
So I'm trying to be like
But you know
I'm like oh
Thank my cousin
For such a glowing review
I'm so glad
He speaks so highly of me
But like
I gotta start betting
The shit that he tell
His friends about me too
Like I think he paint me
As the worst
Wild
Hold up
You gotta start
Betting the stuff
That Michael Paul
Tells his friends
About you
Yes
I think he's
Telling them
That I'm like
A wild boy
That has a problem
With authority
And kinda just does
Whatever the fuck
He wants to do
That's crazy talk
Where would he get that from
He shouldn't be saying that
But where would that
I would even think that
I have no idea
But he shouldn't be spreading that
That shouldn't be the gospel
To think
Yeah I don't think
I'd do that to y'all
Do what
What
I wanna be clear here
Let's move on
Yeah yeah
I bet you
Yeah yeah
Some roller skates
I know when to get out of here
You better skate like Luscious
I'm out of here
Oh speaking of
to usher the Chris Brown usher dates
Chris Brown usher dates
have dropped East Rutherford
August 7th and 8th freeze
August 7th and 8th
Friday and Saturday
but you know me
chicken chicken I'm eyeing that DC date
