But if you didn't have Trump, you wouldn't have a country. Full stop. You've seen what the alternatives are. And trust me, it is coming. And it's coming even in a bigger and more brutal and darker way than I think anybody imagines. And this movement is now, and it's what 10th year, 12th year, maybe taken over from the Tea Party a little longer in that, the roots of that. Maybe even back to some of the Rand Paul stuff or some of the Rand Paul elements, some of the elements of Buchanan, Reagan, all of it. And you can't, you just can't sit there in the band and say, oh, this was done and I hate it. And now I'm going to flip. You can't do that. Because if you get shattered, it'll take you decades to get it back. And they understand that. This is why this whole discussion now about Trump and Trump is him, right? Trump and Trump is him. I want to go back to, you got this big state dinner that's going to take place. I gave this talk last night for the launch of Thatcher's book. I was a great group. I had a few remarks about the Chinese Communist Party. I'll get to those momentarily. Mike Davis now joins us. Advice for it, Julie Kelly, explain-- and let's put it up. Let's put-- we got to Julie Kelly's story. So let's put this up. Explain them-- is this a conspiracy that's going on? I mean, what is going on with his judges? And I understand, and the reason I want to get you up, I understand Article 3-- the Article 3 project may be taking some action on that. Yeah, you have these federal judges in Minnesota who, while they may be appointed by a president, they're hand selected by the home state senators, the Democrat home state senators, under our blue slip bogus system we have in the Senate, where home state senators get to pick these district court judges. And you have these district court judges in Minnesota who are giving interviews to the New York Times about cases that have come before their courtrooms, which is a big problem. It's a violation of the judicial canons. They're also, according to these New York Times interviews, they're also alluding amongst themselves on these cases and coming up with case strategy and case theories amongst themselves on how they're going to fight President Trump and his immigration enforcement in Minnesota, his immigration enforcement that is required by federal statute passed by Congress, our duly elected members of Congress. So the federal statutes are not a suggestion. The president has an Article 2 constitutional duty to enforce those federal statutes. And these activist judges in Minnesota are conspiring to undermine presidents and then to give highly inappropriate interviews to the New York Times about this. And so the Article 3 project is working on a judicial misconduct from plaint right now that we intend to file and hold these judges accountable for this. There has to be an investigation. And we're not going to allow the chief justice of the United States or the eighth circuit or any other judicial body to just sweep this under the rug. We are also going to work with Chairman Chuck Grassley on the Senate Judiciary Committee, my former boss, who has long hauled for accountability for these federal judges when they violate the judicial cannons like this. - Okay, hang on for a second, hang on. 'Cause this Julie Kelly's piece is so explosive. You've got federal judges with lifetime appointments that are working together behind the scenes and coordinating, colluding, to thwart on the book's immigration law. And you can see that happened in Minnesota. This is the big problem we had with Bavino, Commander Bavino and people, when we want to do the mass deportations or just even the deportations of the bad omen brace, which is, you know, we're not, that has to happen, but it can't stop there. But they're colluding on all of it. First off, have you ever heard of that, Davis, you've been around a while, you're a student of this. Have you ever heard of that happening at any of the time in American history with federal judges, sir? - No, I clerked on the 10 circuit court of appeals. I clerked on the Supreme Court of the United States. I've been in a lot of courtrooms for 20 years. I was the chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee with the federal judiciary oversight portfolio. I've never heard of this. I've heard of one off judicial activism, one off judicial sabotage, where you have some activist judge in DC or New Yorker Boston doing something wacky. I've never heard of an entire district, like the District of Minnesota, where the judges are colluding to undermine the duly elected president of the United States with his electoral mandates to enforce our federal immigration laws that are passed by our elected members of Congress and on the books. Again, immigration statutes like any other statutes are not suggestions. Their mandates in the president has the constitutional duty to enforce those statutes. And these judges, it's not their job to second guess the policy decisions of our duly elected members of Congress. And it's certainly not their job to undermine, to have this judicial sabotage against the president of the United States when he's doing his job. And so these judges must be held accountable in the Article 3 project, as I said, is filing a judicial misconduct complaint against these judges who think it's their job to sabotage the president and then run to the New York Times and brag about it. - But this is kind of the, the John C. Calhoun secessionist faction of the Democratic Party, which is like 99% of them. They realize and see this. They know what's going on. They say these courts have our back. These courts are essentially, it's the equivalent like Dred Scott back in the 1850s. know the courts are going to have their backs. That's what so. So there has to be a mechanism in place. God love. I love article three. We do, you know, the war is the biggest support of you guys. I love the fact that you're getting involved in the vice where he's going to take it. But isn't there something in the system that immediately should go and not just investigate, but investigate quickly get the facts and shut it. And the investigation will be the New York Times interview because they're bragging about it. Can't isn't there a structure in the system on the executive branch side or the legislative side or the judicial side that kind of oversees this crap so that you know, it can't happen and can go shut it down. And if have to impeach and turf out these judges, sir, yeah, there are several systems. The executive branch can open a criminal probe on these judges. You don't have judicial immunity when you're when you're conspiring like this and sabotaging the newly elected president and undermining statutes passed by Congress. You also can have you can also have the House judiciary committee and the Senate judiciary committee open investigations. You can bring in articles of impeachment or open impeachment increase. And really this is cheap justice. John Roberts is responsibility to get his own judicial house and order. And that's frankly, Chairman Chuck Grassley's point where chairman Chuck Grassley is called for an independent inspector general within the federal judiciary for many, many, many years. The chief justice has fought this and said, no, you don't need an independent inspector general within the federal judiciary. We can handle our own affairs. It's very clear that chief justice John Roberts could not handle his own affairs because this keeps happening over and over and over where you have these activist judges. You're legally sabotaging the duly elected president, right? This is corruption within the federal judiciary. And of course, the chief justice hasn't done anything about it in the past and he won't do anything about it. Okay, hang on, you're getting to the heart of the matter because this is just not, we have dealt in Julie K. You've been on the show now for a couple of years, but particularly when President Trump got here, stop his policies of what we call rogue federal judge and that front line is where they slow us down. They stop us. It gets reverse later. May have to go to the Supreme Court to back president Trump in his article to powers. But that's one, you know, that's these individual rogue judges. This shows collusion among a group of them to make it even more formable. And we found out about it in the New York Times. This is going, don't I believe this is going on in a lot of these circuits, right, with this open collusion that they know about and they're kind of thumbing our nose at it. That is a type of massive investigation or DOJ to get involved and start throwing out some criminal indictments. Is that in that the only way? I mean, we've got to get serious about this on this one to then go after the others and spread essentially fear to these people that if you do it, you're going to be locked up, Mike Davis. Yes, this is a gorgeous judicial misconduct by these Minnesota judges. Not only are they illegally saluting, conspiring to sabotage our federal immigration statutes that they disagree with apparently. They need to resign from the bench and run for Congress. If they disagree with those, but it's also more egregious that they've run to the New York Times and complains about cases and complained about parties to the New York Times. If these judges have issues, they need to resolve them inside their courtrooms, not inside the reporters offices or on the reporters phones and immediate outlet like the New York Times. That is a, that is egregious judicial misconduct by these judges. Mike, I know you get a ball, but just hang through the commercial market. Get one other question on how we get coordinated action. This is collusion of federal judges to basically, and to make sure that the John C. Calhoun successionist program of the sanctuary states and sanctuary cities are fully backed up to allow 25 million or 22 million illegal alien invaders under the illegitimate Biden regime to remain in the United States of America, Mike Davis, because they don't think we're going to do anything about it. Brother, am I wrong there? You're not wrong. And I would just say this to these judges to Chief Justice John Roberts, you better get your house judicial house in order here, because I know that not only will Chuck Grassley support legislation to bring an IG to the federal judiciary. I know the Democrats that they take over the house, and the Senate are very eager to do the same. So if we keep justice once again, prove that he could not get these rogue judges in line to follow the law, follow the judicial canons. I think Congress is going to do it for the Chief Justice. And I know from my time as the chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Chief Justice did not want that legislation. Well, there's going to be a damn breaking on that if we can't get the judicial house in order. If we have these Minnesota federal judges conspiring to undermine federal law enforcement and federal statutes on the books on immigration, that's a big problem, particularly in Minnesota that's overrun by Somali warlords and pirates who are fleecing hundreds of millions of dollars from our treasury. And they just, these same Somali warlords and pirates turned into Democrat precinct captains for elections. This is a big problem. I am at a loss for why these federal judges think that they can conspire to try to subvert federal immigration law, federal immigration enforcement and then go brag about it to the New York Times. That is clear, the judicial misconduct and the chief justice needs to get this resolved for Congress is going to do it for her. Okay. Where did they go in order to go through? I know you guys are going to get involved. You're drafting something right now. Where do people go and keep up the speed with it, what you're doing in your social media, sir? I'm gonna let you take it because this guy I don't understand why this guy was not impeached or at least the effort to impeach him under Johnson in the house and you wonder why people are sitting and going why am I gonna go knock door to door? Why am I gonna canvas? Why are we gonna get out the vote? Why are we getting a little propensity voters? You've got to give people something and Johnson says oh it's the most productive house ever and I don't think so homie. Don't think so. Most productive would have had some impeachments of some of these outrageous rogue federal judges. Natalie Winter's you've got my favorite. What do you got for us? Well I mean we can't even impeach rogue judges but the Democrats are already what they have there. Impeachment articles probably several renditions of them drafted for President Trump. We don't even have to make up the charges. I think my reporting makes it pretty clear when it comes to Judge Bozberg who I'm sure people recall. Someone who you couldn't even I think write in a Hollywood villain movie from the physiognomy to his actions to his rulings but delaying, canceling the deportation flights, the Kilmar of Brego Garcia case, some interesting Chinese ties which we'll get into beyond what I just exposed. But people I'm sure remember this organization that I have railed on for years now about the China United States Exchange Foundation. It is the tip of the spear when it comes to the CCP's efforts to infiltrate sure all of America but particularly Washington politicians think tank types people in the media. You name it. Well of course judges I would put it no further than the Three War First Doctrine when it comes to how they target and weaponize law fair against us. Of course they're going after them too. Judge Bozberg is no exception and I would actually say frankly he's the poster child for what it means to have CCP assets espionage and propaganda fronts in contact with judges. He was a nine-time host if you can believe it for Chinese fellows and see every part of the story gets more ridiculous as part of an exchange program and I want Denver pictures are worth a thousand words this one should certainly be worth an impeachment to put this picture quite a damning picture up on screen of Bozberg sitting in his chambers it's unclear if those were actually the FISA court chambers as in the foreign intelligence surveillance act court which he was a part of was a FISA judge for I believe six years one of them he was actually the lead judge of the court but he invited Chinese nationals in giving them as they bragged you know unfettered access the ability to speak with judges learn about the American legal system they don't even euphemize it as it's some like positive exchange it's basically just a one-way street where literal Chinese citizens get access to America's top secret court could you imagine the reverse happening I don't think so or you certainly will not live to tell about it but this exchange it's sponsored by the U.S. Aja Institute which in and of itself is similarly a you know pro-China united front group much like QSF it was founded in 2008 between two very interesting characters one actually a communist party secretary in Shanghai Sun Chao so again a CCP founded exchange group but in conjunction with his American lackey Matthew Samansky now this individual is very intriguing because he himself is another poster child for PRC compromise whether it's the fellowships at Chinese state universities or the fact that he was actually the vice president for corporate relations at SMIC as in the semiconductor manufacturing international corporation that is the Chinese semiconductor company that was actually added to the entity list as in it was blacklisted by the United States for its ties to the Chinese military this guy was lobbying for them and these are the two geniuses that came together to create this exchange where they boasted that Chinese nationals again I don't even like the term Chinese students that's too euphemistic Chinese nationals aka not just dormant Chinese spies but probably Chinese intelligence assets were given quote exclusive conversations with influential actors and got to witness proceedings quote few are ever able to witness first hand bozberg like I said was a nine-time host of this program per the reporting or the the records that I saw from this group I believe he is the judge that hosted these people the most which is quite interesting 2015 through 2020 he hosted them that was while he was on FISA so six times and then again in 2022 2023 2024 how you could continue to host people from this group which by then had already been flagged as a spy group I mean that was all the way back in 2013 but let alone post covid let alone post you know the trade war is beyond me but Steve the other interesting angle here besides I mean just clearly trying to make president Trump's agenda much more difficult to implement right make it really hard for us to deport illegal aliens criminal aliens at that but bozberg you know the assignments in DC are always very interesting right he managed to be the judge assigned to the case that how to do with Secretary Hegsatz Department of War trying to add WUSHI a very shady Chinese biotech company to a similar entity list that smick one of the companies that the founder of this program was lobbying for but added to the entity list so sanction them for the PRC proxy that they are which there's a whole list of documented ties there but I would posit that any Chinese company is essentially a dormant state owned enterprise they can very easily invoke article seven of China's national intelligence law and there you go suddenly you're doing the bidding of the CCP now this group this company was actually forbidden forbade from being added to the entity list because judge bozberg stepped in and said that it was a horrible decision they were just destroying their reputation this was propaganda this was you know putting a scarlet letter on them it wasn't true so you kind of link the Chinese ties through that you find it very interesting but like I said Steve the the top line assessment here judge Bozberg hosting essentially Chinese spies as part of a the euphemistic way of describing it as a Chinese propaganda organization it is an intelligence gathering and collection group which it was already declared that by the United States government years before he was hosting these people and then all of a sudden you see him on the bench literally giving the CCP the ideal decisions that they would want and actively undermining what President Trump was trying to do on the immigration front I think this Mike Mitchell, we've had, so I had, you know, I've done this analysis of this rap report piece about best and yesterday we did economics all day, capital markets. You've got a little bit of a reality check for us. I want to put up this chart that you've been talking about. Then you've done your own analysis on the economic populism and where folks stand on this. So the floor is yours. You walk through it anyway you want to walk us through it, sir. I think this is the most important chart I've ever had you put up on the show. And I think really Republicans need to step back and take a look at this because they don't understand public opinion. Now personally about me, you know me, I'm a right wing guy, but I'm on team America. My job is to represent the voters, not any political party. And so for the last year and a half, I've been pounding my fists on the table, trying to give them advice, trying to help them govern in a way that Americans will appreciate it. We will get the things that Americans ask for out of Trump's mandate. And I'm telling you, it's been like pushing on a noodle. It's been really tough. And at this point, the polling does look like the Republicans are going to lose pretty decently. I mean, that just says what it is. I can't sugar code it. That's not what I'm here to do. But this chart really explains why. And so what you're looking at is one of the most important questions you can ask. And it's you got data, but it's because they have so much. It's such a really great time series here. Is the economy getting better or worse? And as you can see going into the COVID period during Trump's first term, people were basically split on whether the economy was getting better or worse. And then all of the sudden, Americans got a really big wake up call. They got a bucket of ice cold water dumped on their head. They had COVID and they had the government response, massive bipartisan bailout, stimulus bill, closing of all of the small businesses across the country, everybody going to Walmart. And then this massive run up of asset prices caused by the way that we handled this crisis. And what happened is economy getting worse, shot up from basically the low 20s all the way up to 60. That's that red line there. And it's been there the whole time. So now a lot of people are saying, well, Republicans deserve to win because Biden caused this mess. Or because look, we have a 5.1% GDP all of the sudden or the stock markets at record highs. I don't know what to tell you. There's been a K shape recovery, Americans, you know, the people who aren't the wealthiest 1% essentially have just absolutely been pounded by everything. And you can point to the CPI, but this is about decades of wage suppression. This is about asset inflation and the cost of housing. It's about the fact that they have to pay $400 every time they want to fill the refrigerator. It's not about eggs and gas prices. It really isn't. I mean, you know, the gas price is an unfortunate symbolic thing right now. But this is about people paying like rent size checks in order to have health care. And then they still have a $10,000 family deductible like these are the problems that Republicans have to figure out how to fix if they want to win. So that red line, if you trace it dipped two times and the only two time, the only thing that affected Americans opinions that the economy was no longer getting worse was the inauguration of Biden and the inauguration of Trump. And what that means is that people were hopeful that they voted for somebody new. This person was going to come in and fix the economy. And as you can see with the Biden situation that it didn't help at all. It went from like 30 all the way back up to 65 people were like, no, no, this guy, he's retarded. He doesn't know what he's doing. And right around that spike there in the red line right in the middle of the graph is when basically people decided, no, we made a mistake. We want Trump back. So now look, there's right where the green and red line kiss there right on the right side. There's no inauguration. And people were like, finally, I like what we're seeing out of this guy. First couple of months of his second administration, we're great. And then all of a sudden, you know, liberation day hit and sort of doge went away and people like something's not right here. And now those red and those purple lines are farther apart than they've pretty much ever been on the chart almost as bad as the height of COVID. And a lot of that's obviously because of the Iran situation and the way that just prices haven't come down. Now you could say again, Trump has gotten CPI under control. But I'm here to tell you that's not enough according to this chart for Americans. And this is the brutal reality of about how public opinion works. These people do not watch CNBC. They have to deal with their wallet every single day. And Republicans seem so insulated for that. They think they're going to come in. They're going to be able to run on the Dow hitting 50,000 and they're going to be able to run on these investments that are going to pay off over a 10 or 20 year timeline. Americans aren't going to aren't feeling this anymore. And we're not in the country where everybody is a binary red team blue team voter. So here's what I've been saying for very long time. And I want to say it again, Americans are probably going to vote for socialists this time. Now America is not like they don't want to be a socialist country. People think we're a capitalistic country. But they also think that the traditional conservative parts of capitalism have failed. This idea that we can continue to run on art laffer and ergonomics and tax cuts for corporations and that eventually people will realize that that's the principal position and that we need to go back to that or everything else is socialism. Those days are passed because Americans are increasingly becoming socialistic out of desperation. And if you want to beat socialism, the only alternative is to focus on rebuilding the middle class every day. That's got to be your primary focus. And that's what people I think thought they were getting out of the second Trump administration. They wanted somebody to get in there and and take retribution against the broken system. Well, like that's important. They wanted, you know, accountability and reform for the federal government, drain the swamp, waste fraud and abuse, doge that you were talking about judges early in Trump's term. He had basically a mandate to impeach all these people. People don't want violent Venezuela and gang leaders here. And two to one people wanted jugged, jugged Bozberg and peach. That was way back in March of 2025, you know, Congress whiffed on that. And we can talk all we want to about it now. But the window is basically closed because we're here a month and a half away from an election where the Democrats are up nine points among likely voters right now. And that's with a post RNC bump. So I mean, I they're going to lose Congress like the Republicans are almost certainly going to lose Congress. And at this point, as a pollster, there's nothing I can really do other than, can mean, I guess you have this. You can't vote for socialist messaging. And that will get a lot of your core Republican voters out. But it's not going to get that 35% of Trump's 2024 big tent coalition that was independence, crossover Democrats, working class people, minorities and get this actually socialists. Trump got a lot of socialists votes believe it or not. Because 50% of under 40 Trump voters said that they would actually vote for a socialist. And we asked this before. And three quarters of the under 40 Trump voters said that they would support nationalizing major industries, almost 60% of them support excess wealth confiscation. And now we have a new poll out out of the honest poll. And I mean, it looks like again, this is a repudiation of traditional conservative economics. Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, I want to go to this and get up. This is this September 2026 National Tracking Poll on Populism. Exactly. There's some. Okay, let's get, let's get, okay, but walk us through it, walk us through the takeaways from this. And I'll put it up and we're going to send it out to everybody and I'll probably have you want to come back and go through individual pages. When you say tracking poll on populism, explain to people what you did here and what you derived from it. While we're doing public sentiment work, we're trying to figure out what Americans think. We're not just a horse race polling firm. I mean, that's the way you prove everybody you're accurate. But the whole point is to actually study and report on what Americans think so they can be better served. That's the George Gallup vision. That's the thing that nobody believes in anymore. And this is like Republicans want to ignore this stuff so they can still run on open borders and free trade and all this other stuff that has failed Americans, in my opinion. But for instance, we ask voters if you could pick between cutting social security and Medicare or cutting defense spending or raising taxes on people that earn more than a million dollars, Americans say, yeah, raise taxes 54%, only 34% say cut those other programs, but 51% are Republicans. So majority of Republicans say, yep, eat the rich. They agree with Bernie Sanders, tax the wealthy. And anybody who recommends that on social media is going to be called by a bunch of like MAGA shills. And I'm sorry they are now. Like I was OG MAGA. I can say this. You're going to be called a socialist. If you recommend anything economically progressive. Another one, this one's going to have art laughers spinning over in his grave, which is closer to your view. Cutting corporate taxes further is the best way to grow the economy. Or corporations already get too many tax breaks. And Americans say corporations get too many tax breaks. 63 to 25 among Republicans. It's 50 to 34. So only one third for Republicans say, yeah, like corporations or cut the taxes, it's going to trickle down on us. So this whole idea of like, we had major corporate tax cuts. That was a big part of the first Trump administration. That stuff's not going to fly anymore because we are an entirely different economic situation. We're out of desperation. Americans are really upset with big corporations, which blows my mind again because Americans supported mass deportations, and yet they saw how ICE behaved. And they said, you know, maybe not like that. And I tried, you know, I put an op-ed about it. What Americans want is they want these corporations that game the system smashed in the face. They wanted brutal anti-trust action. And that was like the first person fired out of the administration who was trying to do a good job for Americans. Do you support or oppose stronger government action to break up large corporations that dominate industries like tech, ag, health care, and banking? So I didn't even use the evil monopoly word. I just said big corporations and Americans approve of that 62% to only 21%. So it's three to one. And among Republicans, what's that? 61% of Republicans support this, only 24% oppose. So you have Republicans, Trump's base now. And again, these are the people who all of their, you know, all the people they watch on Fox News, all the people on the business news that want the GDP line to continue to go up, line go up, economics. Your supporters don't think this. They look at Amazon and say, you know what? Like maybe that's not great for America. They look at Google and say, you know what? Maybe they have too much control. And maybe this isn't the way capitalism is supposed to work. And yet we're told again, any threat to the traditional conservative economic orthodoxy is socialism and Republicans will not win like that. Rich Barrett's just wrote a whole book about it. Have to burn down these tired values that are no longer gonna work for conservative America. Hang on one second. We're gonna take a short commercial break. Bannon ♪ The Phoenix Engine Room reminds me that actually early voting does start today in Minnesota, South Dakota, Virginia, and starts more in Vermont. But so game on, it started. Mark Mitchell, I'm going to have you back on a go through this more. Talk to me real quickly about this philosophy of George Gallup and you to talk about where people are and the trends of where they're going. That's been kind of dumped aside for these horse race, all these horse race polls, sir. Yeah, I mean, almost everybody in the industry is on basically the Washington DC gravy train or they've sold out to be a wage slave for a big mainstream media organization that is subject to the whims of its advertisers. So like I'm not doing this to make money. If I wanted to make money, I would do what a lot of other right wing pollsters do, which is take on disclosed money from political action committees or big industry groups or whatever. So George Gallup wrote a book, Pulse of Democracy, almost a hundred years ago now. And the idea was like America's a big country now. There's millions of people. You elect a representative. He goes halfway across the country to Washington DC. How do you know he's representing you? It's such a big disparate country. And the answer is unless you measure what people think, you really can't do it. And so he basically popularized political polling in the United States sentiment analysis. Not who's going to win the election, but okay, they're in. What do they do now? And how do you make sure that they're not just lying in their own pockets or actually doing things in the interests of Americans? And I can tell you off the top of my head, the only two people in the industry who I know who are doing that at the expense of their own personal income is me and Rich Barris. And that's really sad. I mean, like this should be like we should have groups that just do this. They do a good job. Nobody, they're not corrupted by, you know, establishment orthodoxy or whatever, right? Like people weren't polling on vaccines. People weren't polling on election integrity. People on the right are super incurious again about anything that threatens the establishment economic situation that we have here, which has been, you know, infinite Indians coming over for H1Bs, infinite offshoring, you know, free trade with, and these are like conservative policies that have absolutely hollowed out the middle class. Now, obviously the left has a lot of blame there too, you know, the tax and spend liberals, like that's not necessarily a good idea either, but we've come to a situation now where the American people are basically more ignored than they've ever been, even though we probably have more pollsters than we've ever had. And that's a really tough situation. And I basically had to leave my prior firm and we're going to make sure that there was nobody with their editorial thumb on me, preventing me from representing the American people. So I'd love for people to support me because it gann, like, it's me, like that's it. And I'm polling and I put out a lot of polls and, you know, we're trying to do our best. But as you can see, this stuff that I'm putting out, like Republicans are going to hate it just as much as Democrats are, then that's because the American people are getting screwed and they need somebody out there blocking and tackling for them. They need a referee. People should think of me as basically a referee. So if they want to come help me, I have a sub-stack. A lot of interesting things. Like, for instance, Americans are screaming for this Iran situation to be over already. And if people want to know how Republicans can win, it's like number one at the top of the list. Just get ourselves out of this situation because it has been problematic as all of us were warning about a year ago. So again, I want to see Trump succeed, not because of a Maggi guy, not because I'm a registered Republican, not because I'm part of some team where I'm shilling for an organization. It's because Trump's platform was objectively even more popular than he was among all of the electorate, right? We had mass deportations was like a 65% position. Drain the swamp was almost 70. Doge was well into the 70s, auditing organized, you know, the federal government for waste, fraud and abuse. You know, arresting all of these criminals and reforming the federal government, all super popular. And unfortunately, like the messaging hasn't sort of stayed single threaded on this. You know, we came in with a Trump second administration that looked like it was going to cross the Rubicon and people were begging for it. And now here, like a year and a half later, we're navel case. like wondering why it all went wrong. And like I hate to say it. This is not like the first administration. The generic ballot is very closely tracking Trump approval. This is a Trump problem. And so again, he still has his core of support. He's still got his roughly 50% of Republicans that still strongly approve of him. But the problem has always been convincing these crossover Democrats and independents who leaned Republican, basically a lot of them for the first time in 2024, to convert to a Republican vote. And that sale has not happened. So people will look at the Democrats, and you can call them socialists. But at the end of the day, the Democrats will probably throw gimmies at people. They will open the treasury, and some people will get stuff. Like those bills will go through. And on the right, it's like, no, shut up and eat your $20 burrito. And you should want to pay a $5 gallon for your gas tank in order to feed communism. And those are just not winning messages. People have to look at the Republican Party and Trumpism as a coordinated movement to actually A, acknowledges the problems with the economy, and then B, plausibly explains how if they stay in power that they will fix them, those things, at some time in the future. Like it was my assertion, the people didn't want to be told we were already at the Golden Age. They wanted to see a golden path to the Golden Age so that they could continue to enjoy voting for Republicans. And I said that to Trump almost a year ago. And, you know, that-- Mark Mitchell.
