Business Athletes, what is going on? Bringing you episode four of the Business Athlete Podcast. This one is a fun one. This is gonna be a popular one because this is a hot topic right now and it's exactly why I'm doing it right now. And it's all about peptides. Peptides, it is the hot topic in the health space right now as of January, 2026. And it's been very popular over the last year. And in this episode, I'm gonna be talking to you about what are peptides, are they safe? How do you know what you should use? And what options have you even got? And I will preface this by saying, this is just educational purposes only. Please consult your specialist, et cetera, et cetera. One thing I will tell you though, is that coming from my own experience, I've used peptides for on and off about eight years now. I tend to be an earlier adopter to things and I will test and try things for extended periods of time before I really come out and talk about them publicly because I really want to assess the blood work. I want to assess the biofeedback. I want to see what type of data comes out and research comes out and I just really immersed myself in the space. And there is a lot of confusion around peptides. The first thing that I'll say is that a lot of fitness people now are pushing peptides and you do need to be very careful about where you get them from. A lot of these quote unquote research chemical websites. The reason why their research purpose is only is because it's essentially a loophole to get around having more strict requirements on them. So if they say that they're not for human consumption, then they can sell them directly to you on these websites. Whereas if you need, if they are intended for human use, you would need to essentially go through anti-agent clinic or a doctor and you would probably end up paying two or three times as much as well. So part of it is it's a cost thing. Now I will also say though, some of these research peptide chemical companies are very good. They have very good quality control. They have third-party testing. Some of them have fourth-party testing. They have very intelligent people staring the ships. I know a number of them, but then some are very low quality and not good. One thing I will tell you right out of the gate is just because you find cheap peptides online does not mean that you should jump on and buy a bunch of them. I'm actually very cautious when I see very cheap peptides because I know the price points for these things and I've seen some that are very cheap and I think to myself there's no way that these are legitimate or good quality. And especially one big key, if it doesn't have a third-party purity testing certification on the website and that batch number is batch to your little number on your vial or your receipt order, you don't know the purity of it. So a lot of the websites that I will deal with they will literally upload the certifications as a scanned document and you can see it. And it will say it's 99.9% pure. And that's perfect, that's what you want. You want that transparency. So I just wanted to mention that first because it is the Wild West. You do have to have your head on straight and you do absolutely need proper counsel with stuff like this. I'll say right out of the gate part of the reason why I have students join my business athlete council is because I have the knowledge here. I have the connections and I have the knowledge around all the dosing and the protocols and the side effects and the pros and the cons, everything. So rather than you going out there and guessing and playing Russian roulette, it's probably better that you either come to me to get some help or you go to an anti-agic clinic local to you or you find someone that's very well versed and will give you an honest assessment of things. 'Cause there are pros and cons to these things. There are things you do need to be aware of. You know, one of the common things that a lot of people will not mention to you is how you can use blood work, which I talked about in episode three, to actually determine the dosing of some of these peptides that you're using. Did you know that? How many people have you heard talk about running and assessing your IGF-1 levels and showing like growth factor levels, which is kind of like a surrogate for growth hormone in your blood work to then adapt and titrate your dosing for your growth hormone releasing peptides. So peptides like testamoralin or epamoralin or semoralin are growth hormone releasing peptides. Now, if you take large, large doses of that, you might push your IGF-1 levels almost to like a super physiological point. It's pretty hard to do it because the thing with peptides is they work like they're signaling molecule. That's what I'm gonna be talking to you about before we dive into my favorite ones and the ones I use and the ones and I'm gonna explain to you in simple terms what each one does and if it's a right fit for you. So you're gonna have some good tangibles and tactical concepts to come away from this episode. But think of, so give you an example. So if you were to take testosterone replacement therapy, when you take that testosterone, it sends a signal to your pituitary that your pituitary no longer has to turn on luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone because you've got testosterone in your system. So what happens is it's quite a good shutdown where your body stops producing endogenous or in inside yourself, testosterone. Now, the downside to this is that shutdown means that if you stop using it, if you don't do the right things, your system might just crash and not come back online. You need to know how to jumpstart the system. The same thing is true for growth hormone as well. If you take exogenous growth hormone, not only can it shut down your growth hormone production completely, but typically what you'll find is that if you dose too high, you can push yourself into a very super physiological range and that's where you get the side effects. See, people think testosterone or growth hormone, they think all these things are like dangerous. They're dangerous if you push yourself into a super physiological state where you're taking an amount that's large enough that it pushes you above a normal range. And so that's where the issues lie. Now, the good thing is that if you know your IGF-1 levels which you can get in blood work, you can essentially adapt your growth hormone releasing peptide dosage to make sure you're in that Goldilocks zone. The Goldilocks zone, I tell people, it's sort of a 10% range that's in the upper quartile of most normal ranges. I'll give you an example. So if testosterone is about 300 through to a thousand, 350 or 400 to me is quite suboptimal. You're not going to feel very good at that level. That Goldilocks zone is going to be around probably 800 to 900 at the top end as a thousand. So you're not quite at the top end, you're right under that top end zone. Now, you're not going to be in that top end zone with everything. Sometimes you'll be at the bottom end of the zone, but it's like a 10% range. We can titrate and adapt peptides based off that. And that's what I do a lot of the time with myself. And that way you get the best of both worlds. You get the therapeutic effect without the side effects. That's the key. So think of peptides a bit like a signaling molecule. That's like a blueprint. There are essentially chains of amino acids that come into your system. And it sends a signal to your body to do something that already naturally does. It's not a foreign entity and a foreign substance that is basically hijacking your system or shutting down your natural process. And so what it would do is it comes into your system. It sends a signal to your pituitary to up-regulate growth hormone output. Because once you turn it about 30 onwards, a lot of hormone systems in your body start to decrease. For example, your thymus gland decreases output. And that's why people get sick more often and easily as they age because their thymus output decreases, which is a sort of a main hub in their immune system in their body. The same thing is true for aging in general-- wrinkly skin, body fat through your midsection, lot loss of muscle mass, hair falling out. Just aging in general, the aging process in general isn't part coupled with these declines in growth hormone over the years. And so if you can send a signal-- if you can get the WD40 into your pituitary to blow out all the rust and the cogs and get it to optimize back to what it was when you were younger, you will maintain a lot more youth for an extended period of time. So I think it's a very useful tool when you use the right way. The first thing I'll say is that peptides are not steroids just because they're injectable. They're not steroids. They're very different. A lot of them have very different functions. I mean, there is such a wide range of peptides available. There are ones that help with brain health and brain cell regeneration, BDNF, brain derived neurotropic factor peptides, like cerebral lysine. There are ones that help with anxiety. There are peptides that help with tanning. There are peptides that help with different organ systems in the body called bioregulators. I'm going to be talking a lot about bioregulators today, because that's a subject that most peptide people don't even touch, because they just don't even know about this stuff. It's a whole other level of results that you could be tapping into. There are peptides that help with muscle building. There are peptides that help with fat loss. There are peptides that help reduce cravings and hunger. There's peptides that help boost your immune system, so you don't get sick as much. There are peptides that help with injuries, skin quality, hair quality, all kinds of different systems. And so one of the cool things is that you do get a chance to explore and try different things to see what works for you. So, the first thing that I'll say is that peptides, they don't replace the fundamentals. You know, often I say this line, make sure you solve problems in the right order. And what I mean by this is you can't just come in to a transformation and throw a bunch of hormone replacement therapy and a bunch of peptides at a problem. If you're drinking every second night and eating fast food and sitting on your butt all day, even if you work out hard. If you're one of those classic overachiever CO types that trains really hard in the morning with the trainer and then sits at the desk all day doing deals, doesn't move, drinks a couple of nights a week and eats out every second night. And you think that a bunch of hormone replacement therapy and peptides are going to get you an amazing shape. You're absolutely mistaken. It does not work that way. You've got to solve problems in the right order. So, typically what I tell people is first of all, go back to episode three, listen to that, get the blood wet run. That's a base. That's going to give you an indication of where to focus first. The second thing is making sure that your step counts locked in, your diet's nice and clean. Remember, food is like software and your body in mind of the hardware. Obviously, sleep, light exposure, training, movement, diet, foundational. Now, over-the-counter supplementation is in whole other realm and topic that I'm going to be talking about in one of the next podcasts. Like the core foundational supplementation principles. But with peptides, that's like the frosting on the cake. That's like the stuff that you add on to really enhance. And basically, like, how a champion-- what would separate a champion from second place? That's that little advantage that actually goes a long way. So, what I would tell you first and foremost is that when you're thinking about peptides and you're thinking about which ones to use and which ones right for you, et cetera, I would say think about some different biofeedback signals that you experience. So biofeedback is like your body's communication to you. It's going to look like low energy, poor recovery, skin aging, digestive issues, cravings, brain fog, anxiety, sleep issues. It looks like all those things that people experience on a daily basis. That's your body trying to communicate to you something's not quite right. Or you need to adapt something that you're doing. Most people just ignore the signals. And the good thing with peptides is that, in many ways, they help enhance the signals and they help improve all the things that are causing some of that dysfunction. A classic example is, I would say a lot of people's insulin resistance, most people are insulin resistant in some way. So they have almost like type 2 diabetes, type status. And so when you start getting really insulin resistant and you start getting metabolic syndrome, it just unravels everything. Like your game body, fat easier, you'll feel tired. A lot of the time, you'll get brain fog. You'll start noticing you probably get hormonal problems too. The ladies will start getting early onset menopause type stuff. Guys will be dealing with andropause. You'll get more visceral fat. Everything just de-optimizes. Everything. Now, very often, the way to start to reverse all of that and reset the system is on a mitochondrial level. So you mitochondria are like the batteries of yourselves. There are peptides that literally address that. And so very often, what I do is I work from that level up. And so peptides like MOTC, SS31, NAD, a combination of those things, five amino-1MQ. And sometimes you can get them in a combination. A lot of peptide companies now, if they're more well versed, they will have an awareness of what peptides work synergistically. And they will put them together in a stack for you. A classic one is a blinkle-clow, K-L-O-W. So that's going to have KPV, BPC157, TB500, and GHKCU. Now, I'll talk about blends a little bit in this episode, but I'm just going to touch on here quickly and say there's pros and cons to blends. The pro is that it's way more simple. You can take four peptides at once, so for a beginner, or someone that just wants simplicity, it's quite useful. But very often, you can't adapt the dose of each peptide. And so some peptides, ideally, should be administered two or three times a week. Some peptides, ideally, are administered every day. Some peptides have a certain dosing. And so if you're taking a blend, you don't really get to choose if you take one of the compounds two times a week and the other compound seven days a week. You have to take it every day or whenever. So there's going to be some mismatch in the dosing, but it's a good place to start with. Now, here are some of the peptides that I use and like that I think have a good use case. And this is not all of them, but this is just the start. One of the ones that's becoming more well-known now is Mot C, M O T S hyphen C, Mot C. It's a mitochondrial peptide. Now, what this does is imagine if-- imagine you have your battery in your laptop. And as your laptop ages, you notice that the battery loses its charge faster. It doesn't hold the charge like it used to. You could say the same about your phone. And it's not even necessarily the computer that's the problem. The battery's aging and it's losing its ability to hold that charge. Your cells are like that. So when you have low energy, when you age faster, like when you're 40 and you look like you're 45 or 50, when you feel old, when you feel aches and pains, and you feel like you're not recovering well, and you feel tired all the time, that is the batteries are not holding their charge long enough. That's why little kids are so energetic. If you ever watch, you know, I watch my daughter's ear. She's seven years old and she's bouncing off the walls all day. And in a good way, you know, she's got a lot of energy. Because her mitochondria have so much charge with those batteries. Now, you obviously don't want to be bouncing off the walls in an ADHD kind of way. That's not what I'm talking about here. But what I am talking about is high clean energy. That clean energy that allows you to perform like an absolute savage business athlete. Someone who's just locked in all day and go from the start to the finish without any crashing, so you produce at the highest level nonstop. That's a powerful thing. That's a very powerful thing. And so mitochondrial peptides like MOTC basically help-- like I said, the phone is in broken. The battery is depleted. And so MOTC recharges that battery, so the phone actually works properly. So that's one of the first points of action. Another peptide. And so MOTC, for example, typically is only administered once or twice a week in a larger dose. It's one of those peptides that you don't even necessarily use continually. You might use it to like reboot the system. So for four to eight weeks, you use one or two shots a week in a larger dose to reboot the system. And then you're good for a while. It's kind of like going in and getting your car serviced. You don't get your car serviced every week. You do it once a year. And then it's good. Now, the next one that I feel like has a good synergy with MOTC is SS31. This one is also a mitochondrial peptide. But it's a little bit different. These two have a synergistic effect, which is often why good companies might pair these things together, or good practitioners will combine them. Because if you just have MOTC, but you don't have SS31, you're missing out on some results. So think of SS31 like cleaning the corrosion off the battery terminals. So MOTC means the batteries don't hold their charge. SS31 cleans the corrosion off the terminals. So it means that the energy is there in the battery, but the transfer is inefficient. So if you take MOTC, but you don't stack it with SS31, you'll have energy in the battery, but the transfer of that energy is inefficient. So by combining these two, not only do you charge up the battery, but now the terminals that deliver that energy to your cells, to your system is enhanced. And by the way, these peptides are being shown to be quite useful for heart health, cardiovascular health. That's one of the main reasons why I take a lot of these for brain health and cardiovascular health. And I would say for most people, once you get past 40, these are things you need to take very seriously. Because all it takes is one heart attack or stroke, and it's game over. And I would say for a lot of you out there listening, you run that red line. Because you push really hard, you take a bunch of stimulants, you might even drink a bit, you eat like shit, and you run that risk of having that heart attack or stroke. And I've had to say this to people before. When I look at blood work and I see a biomarker, like C-reactive protein, really high, I'm like, look, you absolutely have to get this under control. Because all it takes, you can be completely asymptomatic and then have a heart attack or stroke, and it's done. The good thing is that MOTC and SS31 help reduce down inflammatory cytokines and inflammatory responses in the cardiovascular system and in your endothelial lining, which is kind of the lining of your vascular system. There are more that do this, by the way, so I'm going to talk about that too. But I like to combine SS31 with MOTC. And very often, one of the other ones that I add into this were two is NAD. So NAD isn't a peptide per se, it's a larger molecule. But NAD is intimately connected with what's called ATP production. It's like another energy system in the body. And one of the things with NAD is that there's a lot of NAD you can take as liposomal NAD, like a liquid under your tongue. You can take it in capsule form. But the downside is that what we sense, at least right now, with the data and research, is that NAD taken orally doesn't absorb very well. And so you kind of left with taking the precursors, like NMN or NR, which is OK. But in my mind, taking NAD subcutaneously, by the way, I didn't even mention. These peptides typically need to be administered via a small insulin needle injection subcutaneously. So subcutaneously just means just under the skin and the thin layer of fat. And if you're using a really small insulin needle, it really isn't a big deal. It's really not as much of a deal as people think. The technology will evolve with time. But at least right now, this is just the way that things are. But with NAD, taking a small dose of NAD in conjunction with Moxineus is 31, is just like resetting your whole energy system from a cellular perspective. And then one little bonus point for you, five amino NMQ, and again, is a larger molecule. And that basically helps make the NAD production and its use more economical and efficient. So all of these things have a sort of a synergistic effect. And the reason why I started with these ones is because most people, they don't have a time management problem. They have an energy problem. You can have all the time in the world, but if you're lifeless corpse and you have no energy or low energy, it's really hard to do a lot of stuff. Think about a time-- if you can even think about this-- where you sleep really, really well. And you woke up and you felt really, really refreshed. That's your natural state. It's just that we drift away from that because we get fat, we get burned out, we don't sleep well, we take too many stimulants, et cetera. And so I focus heavily on energy management as like a first point of action. Because not only will you feel more energized so you'll move more, you'll walk more, you'll train harder, you'll have more discipline to not overeat and eat all the silly things people do. But from a physiological perspective, when you optimize things from that mitochondrial level, many other things improve. Like insulin sensitivity is a huge part of that. And so as you start to improve insulin sensitivity, you start to untangle this ball of string known as metabolic syndrome, which is what most people struggle with. And your body's just very, very inefficient. And so you put in the work, but it seems like the change is really slow because everything is very inefficient. And so these are absolutely beautiful places to start as a reset. Now another one that I like is retitrutide. Retitrutide is also known as GLP3. Some of the common peptides that out there that get-- I would even say a bad rap-- are Semiglutide, GLP1, and Tursapotide, GLP2. These are also known as things like Wigovie and Ozempic. Now I will tell you, I'm not a big fan of these because a lot of these peptides are sort of older generation GLP1s that help curb hunger and appetite. But there is more muscle loss that's associated with these things. Partly, I would say the muscle loss in the issues that people get with Ozempic and Wigovie and things like that is one. They still eat garbage. So they don't actually eat a healthy diet. They just eat less garbage. So their protein targets way below what it should be. A lot of them won't even work out and lift weights at all. So they lose a ton of muscle mass because they're just in a sheer caloric deficit. And they make a dose. They take-- the doses are way too high. And it causes a ton of nausea. They get a lot of digestive issues, constipation, because it slows down digestive motility. And so, again, it's a classic thing of like the dose makes the poison. And most people, they just don't know what they're doing. They have terrible counsel and they have no idea what they're doing. And so I would say that those two-- most peptides are very, very safe. Those two are ones that just have a little bit of issues, mainly because of how they slow down digestion and can cause nausea. But again, it's because people take massive doses of them. And they don't do the right habits. They don't solve problems in the right order, like I said. Whereas with GLP3, red or true tide, it's what's called a triple agonist. So it works down on three different pathways in the body. And one of the benefits of this is one of the pathways actually helps preserve muscle mass, which is really important. You preserving muscle mass while you lose weight is really important for your metabolism. Because muscle mass is what essentially burns calories. Muscle mass is the engine of your metabolism. It's why I can stay at 8% body fat all year. And it's easy for me now. Because I have enough muscle mass at my metabolic engine is very large. So I burn through all my calories very easily. Whereas if you're skinny fat, you have much less muscle mass. It's a lot harder to get lean. Because you don't have the metabolic engine in place. Red or true tide helps preserve that engine and preserve that muscle mass. Some of the other things that it's been shown to be helpful with is even obviously improving insulin sensitivity and blood glucose control, which is really important for diabetes prevention. But also even HDL cholesterol and lipids. So LDL, HDL ratios. That's also really useful. And I just think in general, it just helps with insulin output and pancreas health. So it's one of those peptides that I think has other benefits outside of just the obvious fat loss one. I do think taking minimum effective dose of things like this is important. So typically, the dosage of red or true tide, for example, can be anywhere from 2 to 12 milligrams a week. To me, I mean, 12 milligrams is obscene. That's insane. If you dial everything else in and you do everything well, you don't need that much. Most of my students, including myself, when I have used it, I go to about 2 milligrams tops, maybe 2.5. And I just said the bottom end of the range is 2. But again, when you do other things well, you maximize the effect. So not only does it save you money, because you're not spending as much on these peptides, but you get that therapeutic effect without the side effects. You want that epic-- so red or true tide, guys. Basically, it's probably one of the most effective supplements that I've ever seen to helping reduce food noise. Think of food noise a bit like the cravings and the urge to eat stuff that you know is not good for you. And think about once you eat a bunch of junk food, at a certain point, you feel stuffed and the signal in your brain turns off. Just think of once you've had a big ol' thanksgiving meal, you don't want more at a certain point. You're so full and stuff, you're just like, I don't want any more of that. It's that feeling, but at the start. You get that feeling of just not needing it. You just don't feel the compulsion. You don't feel the pull. You just don't feel the hunger. And I would say if you find the sweet spot, it's a beautiful sensation of still being able to eat. You still can hold the food down. You still enjoy it. But you have real control over the portion size. And that is an absolute game changer for most people. 'Cause most people are food addicts. The reality is this, like most people talk about alcohol and drugs and all these things is addictive patterns. Most people don't look at the elephant in the room. Like if you're 10 to 20 pounds plus overweight, you are dealing with some type of food addiction, period. Period. It doesn't matter what you say. If you're 20 pounds over what you're dealing with a food addiction, or be it a mild one, if someone's a hundred pounds overweight, that's a more severe food addiction. But even 10 to 20 pounds overweight is some form of food addiction that you need to understand and build better strategies with. You can't just whitenuckle the diet. I'm gonna talk about this in future episodes. I have a lot of tactics. I talk about healthy food upgrades. I've got a whole system to work around this stuff. So you don't have to face these challenges. But really true to I can be a very useful tool to help break those emotional bonds that keep people stuck. So GLP3, that's another interesting one. And there's a lot of interesting research coming out on it still. And it's one of those things, like I said, the dose makes a poison. So you do need to be mindful about what you do. And you do need to get the right counsel. Now another one that I like, and this one is more around anti-aging and longevity as it pertains to muscle mass, fat loss. And just like having that youthful vigor is a growth hormone releasing peptide combination called Tessa Moralin and Epimoralin. So these two are both growth hormone releasing peptides. They work on slightly different pathways and they have slightly different what's called half-lifes. So peptides have half-lifes. A half-life is basically how frequently you would need to administer the dose. So for example, red or trutide has a longer half-life. So you can get away with taking one shot a week, whereas something like Tessa Moralin has a shorter half-life, and then he's a daily administration. So they're all a bit different. And the reason why Tessa Moralin and Epimoralin work well together as a synergy is because the half-lifes are different and that creates almost like a maximization effect. So you have one that sort of speaks more, and then you have one that's a more sustained release. And so when you normally produce growth hormone at night time when you're falling asleep, if you were to time this, you'll get a nice spike from the shorter half-life, and then you'll get a more sustained release from overnight from the longer half-life. I do think periodic use of the growth hormone releasing peptides in conjunction with knowing your IGF-1 levels is a very useful tool. See, IGF-1 is a tightrope. Too much IGF-1 actually accelerates aging, and this is often where the whole cancer discussion comes. So people, you might hear people say, oh, we don't know about cancer. This might cause cancer that type of thing. Peptides don't directly cause cancer. But what has been shown in the data to potentially proliferate cancer is increases in IGF-1 levels. Think about IGF-1 insulin-like growth factor. It's a growth factor. It grows cells. So it doesn't just grow muscle mass. It grows all cells. So if someone had cancer adding something that has IGF-1 in it, or like that stimulates IGF-1, can potentially proliferate the growth of all cells. Now, that doesn't mean it causes cancer though. This is also why getting yourself tested, getting checked, and also if you're not in a super, super high level of IGF-1 in your blood work, you don't have anything to be worried about, because you're in a normal, healthy, physiological range. But the reason why I like things like tests for moral and epimoral and plan is because it's been shown for a lot of people to help with sleep. It's been shown to help burn off visceral fat. Visceral fat is the fat around your organs in your gut. It's very, very inflammatory. It's not good. And a lot of guys in their 40s and 50s in onward, they get that little pop belly thing going on. That's visceral fat. It's very inflammatory. And again, like I said, it really contributes to metabolic syndrome. So tests for moral and it's very good at burning that off. The other aspects of these growth hormone releasing peptides, like I said, from about 30 to 35 onwards, your growth hormone levels decrease every year. That's what causes aging. So if I was to get someone at 70 years old to assess their growth hormone levels, it would be rock bottom, basically. And that's why they look 70. Whereas a 20-year-old looks young because of that. Now, by optimizing those levels, what you'll notice long-term, as you'll notice that your skin has a more collagen-rich, youthful look. It has a thicker, you know, as your skin thins. So it looks thicker. It's more collagen-rich. Your hair will remain thicker. So you'll look younger, basically. Not only that, you will have a tendency to hold more muscle mass as well. Because most people don't realize that testosterone and sex hormones aren't the only thing that drive muscle retention. That's one pathway. The other pathway is your growth hormone and IGF1 status. So when you combine maximizing sex hormone profiles like testosterone and estrogen and DHEA and all these different things, and you combine that with maximizing growth hormone pathways, you end up holding more muscle mass. And muscle mass is a very useful longevity tool. It's one of the key things in longevity in the sense that as people age, when they lose muscle mass, that's when they start to see bone breaks more frequently. And once hips break and things like that, it's game over, basically, for a lot of people. So I would say in general, if you want to recover faster, if you want to sleep better, if you want to just have a more youthful appearance, and look, and feel, periodic uses of growth hormone-releasing peptides can be very, very useful. I would say, in general, that it's something that you can use in cycles. And by, like I said, by getting IGF1 levels test in your blood, where you can kind of determine the dosing of these things. And I like them because it just does maintain that youthful aspect. And I will say, from a business athlete's standpoint, you want to have that youthful feel. You want to have that youthful appearance. One, obviously, so you can perform at a higher level, and you can produce and get work done and sustain the high intensity. But I will tell you, straight up, be a walking billboard. People are subconsciously judgmental. Whether they admit it or not, they'll look at you. And if you're overweight and beat up, and you look completely drained, and you don't look like that healthy, they will make assumptions about you. And that's just the unfortunate world we live in. But at the same time, if you know that and just admit it, you can absolutely leverage that. And so what I tell people is, think of yourself as a walking billboard. Like get yourself in the best shape of your life, really vital, really just athletic, and vital looking, and energized, and your skin's clear. Because that sends a message to people that you have your life together. And that you cross your teeth and you dot your eyes. And that you'll do the same serving them in whatever industry or genre you're in. And that really is a thing. You become a magnet for the right people. So I think of these types of growth hormone releasing peptides as a very good anti-aging tool, long term. There are others like Samorraland and CGC. But I typically just will stick to Tessamorraland and Epimorraland blend. Another one, or-- so one of the combinations that I like to use for people to try to remove some of the variability at the start is that cloblin, KLOW. You can get a glow blend, GLOW, but clove has an extra one. So clove is KBV, BPC157, TB500, and GHKCU. What I'm going to do is I'm going to go through each one just quickly because I want to target each one just a little bit. The reason why the cloblin is useful is because, like I said, you don't have to worry about mixing four different peptides. You don't have to worry about taking four different shots. It's just much more simple for the average person. I actually think taking a low little micro dose of clove on an extended basis, at least for me personally, based on all the data in the research I've seen and my own anecdotal experience, is a very useful tool for just optimal recovery and inflammation reduction period. One of the main drivers of aging in general and heart disease and strokes and all these issues we have cancer is inflammation. And so if you can use peptides that help turn down their signaling and help with recovery and anti-inflammatory properties, it's a game changer. And so KBV, for example, is one that's been known to be very good for digestive health. So people that have digestive issues, IBS, colitis, diverticulitis, Crohn's disease, all that stuff. KBV is one that's worth exploring for, especially for gut health. But it also helps with skin health. So if someone has eczema, psoriasis, some acne, that stuff, that can be helpful too with KBV. So I take KBV for mostly the digestive component. BPC157, or body protective compound, 157, is a peptide that's made in the gastric juices of the gut. Just like any other peptide in the body, it's an amino acid chain that's found naturally in the body. And what it does is essentially, it's very, very good for injury and recovery regeneration. So I would say that for any injuries, local site administration shots to those areas with BPC157 can be very, very good for injuries and recovery. So if you get, if you have knee pain, if you've got injured shoulders or elbows, some strategic use of BPC157 can be quite useful. Oral BPC157 potentially can help with gut health. So that's one of the peptides that does seem to have some benefit with oral consumption. But again, most of them, I wouldn't waste my money. Tb500, or 5 is in beta 4, is a-- it's very much like BPC157. But it works on a more systemic level. So think of BPC, kind of like a targeted peptide. If you were to take it in your shoulder, it's going to help regenerate the rotator cuff in your shoulder. Whereas if you take Tb500, it's going to help systemically across the board from your toes to your ears. So it works systemically. A lot of these peptides have components of them of helping regenerate and improve blood cells, which is obviously really important for cellular health and recovery and all sorts of stuff. I don't want to drive too much into the science and the nerdy stuff, because I realize for a lot of people, if you're just a business athlete, you just want like the tangibles here and the basics. But just think of like, if you have a site injury and then the rest of your body feels achy, Tb500 will help with the achy stuff across the board. BPC will help with the specific injuries that you're dealing with. And obviously, KPV will help with gut issues and skin. And the last one is the GHKCU, basically a copper peptide. I'm a big fan of this one. This is one that I use often. Copper peptides are great for skin health, collagen production, connective tissue here. But also, it helps with mitochondrial health, too. So I would say for a lot of people, if you didn't want to use clove, I would be using a little bit of GHKCU. I actually use copper peptides topically on my face as well. So that is one where you can do both subcutaneous administration to get the collagen production across the board, which is obviously helps with your ability to train harder, longer without wearing your body down and getting arthritis and all the stuff that comes with these age-related issues that we want to avoid. But topical GHKCU with a little bit of dermaroling is very good for collagen synthesis in your face and your scalp. So I'll have to get my students if they have issues with their hair, a little bit of GHKCU dermaroling and a couple other protocols that I have to help with that stuff. Really, really useful stuff, guys. I mean, this is this stuff. People think that these just popped up yesterday. Dr. Vladimir Kavinson, out of Russia, has studied bio-regulated peptides and peptides for 30 years. 30 years. Russian special forces, and like the Russian oligarch, have used bio-regulators for years, because they're so effective. The main reason why they're not as well known in the US to put my tinfoil hat on is because a lot of these things can't be patented because they're natural amino acids. And so they can't make a killing off these things. They can't basically take you to the cleaners with the pharmaceutical prescriptions. Some of them they can, but most of them they can't. And so they don't study them. Because why would they want to study these things if they can't make a killing off them? But they've been studied in Russia. The thing is a lot of the research is in Russia. So now with AI, we can translate it. We can understand how effective some of these peptides actually are in the safety profile. That's one of the reasons why I like them is they have a very, very good safety profile. Most people immediately associate peptides with steroids and it must be dangerous. And that's so far from the truth. I would say most peptides are safer than most pharmaceutical medications here in the US. Hands down. Now, there are other peptides, like there are other ones that I like. So cerebral lysin is one. It's a BDNF peptide. It helps with strokes, heart attack, but very, very good for regenerating brain cells. I did a lot of damage to my brain when I was younger, just abusing it. And I've run multiple rounds of cerebral lysin to help regenerate my mind. And I'm telling you, I really do think it had a pronounced effect. There are other peptides, like Phymus and Alpha 1. I'll often get my students, my high level students, to have Phymus and Alpha 1 on hand. So if they travel for an event or a speaking arrangement, they'll take an administration of Phymus and Alpha 1 before they leave, and then they'll take it when they get back. And it really, really helps bolster immune system response. Most people get sick when they travel in the airports. This can help reduce that, because think about this. If you are a business athlete, if you're a high performer, the last thing you want to have to deal with is getting sick all the time. And so that's money right there. So using these tactics can help you avoid all of that type of stuff. There are other peptides, I guess I said. Like IGF-- there's one IGFLR3, which is a very potent muscle building peptide. But just like I mentioned with IGF1 levels, you need to be mindful about your levels of IGF1 in your body. It's a double-aged sword. Too much accelerates aging and can proliferate cancer. Too little also accelerates aging and causes muscle atrophy. So it's a sweet spot. Too far on one end of that spectrum is not good either way. And IGF1 is like an amplifier of that. So IGFLR3 is a muscle building peptide that you can use, but you do need to be mindful about those things. Just like most things. Now, there's going to be other peptides out there. But this podcast will be five hours long. So the next area that I want to touch on-- and by the way, if you join my business athlete council, we will cover these things. We will talk about these things. I can help you with all this stuff. So you don't have to go to WebMD and guess a bunch of things and you just pray and hope that it works, right? But you do what you want to do. But I'm just here to give you that information. One area that's really overlooked is bioregulated peptides. I see very few people talk about bioregulated peptides. Most of your gymbros talk about some of the stuff that I've just mentioned. They don't have any idea what bioregulated is other. Bioregulated peptides are peptides as well, but they're even smaller chains of amino acids. So they work very, very targeted. You remember how I was saying TB500 works systemically through the body? It's a larger peptide. There's multiple amino acid chains. Whereas peptides like pinealion, cardiogen, vasogen, and V1, some of them have two to three amino acids combined. They're very small, but the reason why that is good thing is because they're very, very targeted. So I bet you didn't know that there are peptides that literally target specific organs. There's peptides that help optimize and regenerate your pancreas. So if someone's had type 2 diabetes or a lot of insulin resistance, your pancreas is probably taking a beating. There are pancreas optimizing peptides. There are peptides that help optimize the ovaries, the prostate, the kidneys, the lungs. These peptides that help optimize basically every system in the body. The retina, your eyes. So if someone's aging, and I've had people that have eye problems in their 60s and 70s use the retina bioregulators and see massive improvements with their eyesight. That might not be important to you right now if you're 30 or 40, but trust me, at a certain point, when you start realizing you're going blind and you can't drive, that will become everything to you. One of the bioregulators that I love using is Veylon and Vesujan. These are vascular peptides. They help with the endothelial lining. So think of over your life with stress, with blood pressure, with junk food, everything. That causes wear, interior, and plot build up in your arterial system. That's what heart attacks and strokes are. I think for all men, you want to get these things checked. You want to know where you're at in terms of plot scores. You want to look at markers in the body like APOB, and your cholesterol, and all these insi-reactive protein, and all these different things. And like I said, I talk about this in episode three with the blood work. But these vascular peptides can essentially help regenerate your cardiac system, your vascular system. That is absolutely profound. And so when I have a guy come to me, and they've had blood pressure issues, and the doctors don't know what to do, and they're giving them all these statins, and blood pressure medications, and stuff, will obviously run some really innovative dietary protocols. But I'll often get them to use the mitochondrial peptides combined with these endothelial embascular peptioregulators. And so the first one I want to touch on is pinealion. So pinealion, think of it as it targets the brain. It basically reboots the operating system of the brain. It can help with cognitive clarity and neuroprotection. That, in conjunction with peptides like epitalon, can actually help with sleep, because they essentially help the pineal gland. And so the pineal gland is your hub of melatonin production. And that can help with that. Cardiogen is a hot bioregulator peptide. So it literally helps the different ventricles, and the different centers of your hot muscle. Amazing stuff, guys. And like I said, the good thing about bioregulator peptides is these are just naturally occurring peptides in your system, and they have a very, very good safety profile. It's not like you're taking a statin, where now you have to worry, are you taking too much, and you're going to get a bunch of side effects? Very good safety profile with this. It's almost just like taking like a, like if you were to take some amino acids for protein. Another one is Vlon. So Vlon works on the immune system and the thymus. Because as we age, thymus production decreases. It's what causes people to just get sick easier. They get sick more often. And once your immune system starts to tank, you become susceptible to all sorts of stuff. And so for me as a business athlete, not only do I want to bulletproof my brain via pinealion, I want to bulletproof my vascular and heart system with vasusion and Vlon. And I want to make sure that Vlon also complements my immune system and helps with my thymus output. So I don't get sick as much, and I recover from things much faster. Think of the ROI of all of that, where you recover better, you don't get sick, you perform at a higher level, you don't burn out, you know you're not gonna have a heart attack and stroke, because you're doing all the right things. I mean, that's not only a gift to you, but it's such a piece of mind to your family. I tell my guys, I'm so proud of the guys that work on themselves like this, because you are giving your family a better version of yourself. You're giving your team a better version of yourself, you're giving your spouse a better version of yourself. You're not giving them the emaciated, burned out leftovers, man. Which is what a lot of people do. So that's why these things can be so useful. So what I wanna touch on here quickly is the order of operations, right? So solving problems in the right order, you've gotta remember this first. Sleep is the foundation, then nutrition, movement, stress regulation, then getting your blowup run, then bio-regulators and peptides. That's the frosting on the cake. That's the stuff that gets you from second place to first place. Like I said, there are other peptides out there. And one of the cool things is that you don't have to use these things all the time. It's like servicing a vehicle. And I would say that a lot of aging and a lot of body fat gain and a lot of you feeling crappy, low energy, moody, irritable issues across the board comes from just a breakdown at a mitochondrial level, a breakdown at a mitochondrial level. And your body just stops producing the energy that it used to produce. And that's why more caffeine and more riddling and more add or more stimulants doesn't seem to work. 'Cause it's not actually a stimulant problem. It's not a stimulant problem. It's a mitochondria, it's a power bank. It's a battery problem. And when you understand that, everything changes. And that's why you see me, if you ever follow my stories in the way I post on social media, I get up early every day, I go all day long, my wife Lauren will attest to this. This is not smoking mirrors, this is not me acting. She will tell you I go all day and don't stop. And I don't do it from a place of mania and I don't do it from a place of being frenetic and frantic either. And I don't do it from being riddled with a bunch of stimulants. I do it from a place of having a very good energetic base. And that's why I'm able to sustain, you know, six to eight percent body fat all year round, without counting calories. It's why I sleep really well. It's why I have this good mood and temperament because all the chemistry in my brain and body is optimal. Now, sure, it takes work and it doesn't mean that you don't face challenges. That's one of the things I want to tell you. It doesn't mean my life's perfect. And it's challenging, but I choose this path. But it means that you set up to resist the storms as much as possible. So I would say, you know, you want to lock your diet in. You want to lock your lifestyle and work on your sleep. There are peptides that help with sleep, too, by the way, DSIP, Delta Sleep Inducing Peptide, just as a side note. So outside of that, there's a lot of good supplements you can take that I'm going to be talking about in future episodes, too. You know, everything from your NACs, your burberines, all these different things that I love exploring. So there's going to be episodes on that. But I say all this because the peptide industry is the wild west. You need to cross your teeth and dot your eyes. Don't just buy the cheapest thing on the market. And don't just follow the most popular bra on Instagram and believe that everything they're telling you is exactly what you should be doing. There are pros and cons to this stuff. There are methods and there is solving problems in the right order. And if you do that well, these things can be very, very useful for you. I would say for anyone that's starting, things like red or true tide, MOTC SS31 NAD, and a little bit of testimonial in Ipermoralin, can be such a useful combination of tools in conjunction with a good dietary process that could absolutely set you up for a new trajectory in 2026. So there you have it, business athletes. That is a bit of a rundown on peptides. Obviously, this is just a start. There are so many more out there. And this is such a long discussion. But I just wanted to give you guys this value. And like I said, if you want that higher level help, I've been using these things for eight years now. My results approve that these things work.
