Episode 183: Just for The Fans (ft. Bleu)

In this podcast episode, the host welcomes rapper Young Blue, commending his authenticity and respect for others in an often superficial industry. Their discussion centers on the realities of success, acknowledging the accompanying headaches like lawsuits but concluding that the fulfillment of living one's dreams makes the struggles worthwhile. They critically examine the current music scene, noting it is oversaturated with content, which devalues individual work and shifts fan focus from music to personal drama, making touring vital for genuine artist-fan connection. Young Blue shares his pragmatic approach to wealth, detailing investments in assets like planes and property that retain value and generate rental income, advocating for financial self-reliance over entrusting others. He credits his grounded perspective and financial savvy to his years of grinding before achieving mainstream recognition, which taught him to avoid flashy spending and build lasting equity.

(laughs) - All right, man, welcome to another episode of "Worth the Record Podcast." I am here with my guy. - What did he do? - One of the realist rappers in music. And when I mean real, I mean real as a genuine person. Someone who doesn't present himself as a celebrity, even though he is. Someone who operates like a regular human being treats everybody accordingly. And he affords you the respect that he hopes you would give to him. That's the ultimate compliment you could ever give to somebody because you know, in this industry, a lot of people move off, yo, okay, you know, I'm real with you 'cause you're hot. I'm fake with you 'cause you're not. You know, in a lot of people, they just don't have just common courtesy, but I get it. People are always trying to get over with somebody else and make a book. Ever since I've met this guy, ever since I talked to him, he's always kept it real. And this is why we're here. We're here for the second time. - Yeah, yeah. - You know? - Yeah, yeah, what did he do? We got Young Blue in the building. We call him Blue Tay. - You just, are you just blue or are we still saying Young Blue? - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? I mean, she is. - Where are you on a name change thing? Because I felt like you were jacking the blue thing, but Young Blue, it's-- - No. - They were trying to, it was something do came. I was like, his name was Blue Air since like 1980. And so she, he was like, some producer do. So he was like, they was just trying to like suit me. And she's like, yeah, I didn't even that serious. And I just go back to Young Blue, you feel me? - Hey, listen. - Yeah. - And I've never spoken this before. But because my name's academics, right? I used to say the same thing, 'cause there's a clothing brand called academics. What I realized about copyright law later on is that as long as you're not promoting what they're promoting, you could actually be called the same thing as someone else. As long as you're not infringing on what they're doing. So for example, if you and another artist have the same name, right? - I was producing too, you're not producing too. - I'm a producer, I'm producing. - So I'm like, kind of probably about just singing, but you know, I'll be trying to do everything. - But in reality, like the bigger artist makes the call. You can have the small, like I'm not, I'm not expecting to ever be the person. But like, now I know him, I know you. - Just cause money to fight that shit. And I was just like, you know what I'm saying? You never know, bro. I just ain't really be, I don't really be feeling like going throughout it. - Shit. - Listen, trust me. I've started to adopt them in Tality recently. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Fuck it. - What people don't know about, and it seems like you clearly know, what people don't know about being in this position is that, man, it comes with lawsuits, it comes with pain on necessary bills. And I still sit here and think to myself, if I never became who I am, I would never have to pay that. I would never have to go through these things. Do you kind of sit back and reflect? Because, you know, obviously, you've been in this shit for a long time. How do you kind of view all that now? - I don't know. I just feel like you kind of got to take the good with the bad, because I just look back on like, when it was bad, like it was bad on top of bad, on top of bad, on top of bad. But now that it's good, it's like it's a few bads. You guys just take that with it, because you gotta look at it, but you still living the life you want to live, you know what I'm saying? You living out your dreams is like, I know it ain't gonna be perfect. You can't expect it to be just totally perfect. So shit, it's gonna come with some shit. You know what I'm saying? You gotta take it longer, say it ain't more bad than the good than you used to be. - Then I feel like it's cool, shit. - That's a good point. I think what happens is everybody either becomes jaded or sometimes you kind of get down the realm of forgetting the good things that come with this. Like, here was just sort of thing about the headache, the hoops you gotta jump through. Like, you know, I don't know who the first person to hip hop whoever said more money, more problems. I'm pretty sure it wasn't any. But like, that is true though. - Yeah. - It's like the things that come with being successful is just more problematic. Are you still having fun? - Hell yeah, I'm having fun. I ain't gonna lie, I'm having fun. I just, I do feel like the game in a different spot right now that is kind of make it, you know, less fun. When you know, just looking at it from a social media standpoint, you kind of get lost in the South, thinking this not fun or more. But I feel like you got a tour and really touch your real life fans and then there's a start back with your fun again. Like, I feel like you should tour more than, more than a little bit just for your sanity as an artist. Because when you tour, it's like, you seeing real people, you know, you know, because you get lost in that sauce of like, what people think about you on the internet and think that's really like your real life situation. And it kind of like outweigh what you trying to do. So you got to get back on the road, touch those fans, do those things that you probably got away from doing. You know, once you get at this point of your career, more your living, because. - That's a great point brought up and I kind of want to get into it a little bit. - Yeah. Like, I've been thinking about it too. And I agree. I think the music game is in a weird space. I don't even know how to describe it. I feel like music is a little bit devalued or ignored by the audience, but still music could never really be devalued because that's what really drives people. People love music, right? But as I see people putting out music, it's almost like. Like the bar has been raised where people are like, yeah, you put out music, but we want you to do some other shit entertain us now too. - Yeah. - And that kind of changed the dynamic because I don't get you like an artist, right? I look at you like shit, we had that conversation, I think I reached out to you. You put like a real quick snippet, I'm like, this is fucking amazing. And there was a time that fans would just hear amazing music gravitate to it. Now I give a fuck about what you're doing in your personal life. Now I give a fuck about what you're paying on 20 different things. Now I give a fuck about everything else. They would just say, yo, great music, when do we get it? This is a vibe, this is a mood. When do you think that changed? - Shit, I just. I mean, as it started being a more abundance of music, like just we bummed out it with what they said, like 200,000 songs a day or something, like 100,000 songs a day. It's like we bummed out it with so much things. It's kind of really impossible to listen to everything in the first, you know what I'm saying? We caught within the probably even the first three weeks 'cause you got your favorite artists, five artists, five or six artists, just dropped, you know what I'm saying? That you ain't even get through that album yet. Now you probably love blue, you probably love me, you know what I'm saying? But you just, I ain't get to me yet, you know what I'm saying? So it's like, you know, I feel like as artists, as long as you building up, building up, building up over time, I feel like that's good, you know what I'm saying? The hype kind of died down because like, there's so many artists, there's so many people just blowing up overnight, you know what I'm saying? It's like the realm of celebrity kind of just getting real small. It used to be like very gated, you know what I'm saying? But now it's like, it's just getting so oversaturated that it's just like, you know, it ain't really that of no value, no more for real, it's value, but it's not really just much value as it was, you know what I'm saying? So that's why I say you just gotta touch the fans, man. Just touch, just touch your people. The people that you curated, you know what I'm saying? Just touch them. It's interesting, it's like an interesting train of thought in the sense of what people see on social media versus what is actually happening in reality in terms of what the music does. You know, there's a point where they were trying to like, incorrectly just say, oh yeah, you know, he's got the Drake feature whenever the case is, but then I was watching a bunch of concerts where you're going, selling out, performing your entire catalog. And not even the songs that people knew, it was just songs that you had an audience I was just built in. What do you think, is that your like balance and insanity, balance on a sanity level when it comes to like, you know what happens when you go out and perform as an artist versus what you see on social media? - Yeah, I feel like shit, yeah, there's kind of like my balance, but I ain't going to lie. Like, I feel like I don't never really, I probably just saw that one or two times, but if I'm being honest, I ain't never really seen a lot of people just say like, oh, that's the only song he got. Like, even if they post me on a show, you're room with something like that, you know what I'm saying, which got the worst comment section ever. Like, you think so? - Yeah, it's like, I don't know. My comment section in here is, it didn't be bad, man. - Yeah, you know, yo shit, yo shit the worst. But I don't even, I don't know, like, hey, oh no. - You're probably seeing, I don't really be looking at your comments 'cause don't motherfuck your, don't think it's gonna be harsh. - Any time I see people comment about you on like block size, right? It's never that harsh, and I'm gonna tell you why I think it's never that harsh, because they see somebody who's not pompous, they see somebody who's not full themselves, and they see someone who is legitimately trying to grind, right? So again, people are gonna have like, you know, a lot of shit is perspective. Like, you know, an artist got mad at me one time 'cause I was like, I don't know where he came from. It might be an industry plan. And that artist educated me, right? And I was like, well, I never knew. And now that you did, and now I could go do the research, right? Everything's my perspective. So for some people on my page, who didn't follow your journey, right? And that's why I think when you post your concerts, it helps people like understand, because there was a lot of people. I knew like, "Yo, damn." Oh, he just popped out with his song, like he was a new artist. Not knowing you had multiple songs that multiple albums before. So. - I think it's just, you know, of course people, I mean, people who just tuned in for that song are always think that show. And most of these people really don't need to be having to do diligence to, you know, even do, you don't say what a person like you or do is just go looking up, 'cause you could literally go on R.I.W.A. You could go search. To do a quick search, you just see all the plaques. I got, you know what I'm saying? Some of 'em, I mean, a lot of people know about plaques. Listen, that's one of the quick ways how I realize I'm like, "Oh, Lee, I'm like, yo." My boy placked up. - Yeah, and I ain't even shit. They got all of 'em off of a certified. But then you kind of get to do the map too. You gotta look at, I got almost two billion screens on my YouTube and only 300 millions of that came from me and Drake's own. So what the rest, you know what the rest of the screen's come from. It's like that's the same way on, that's something about I got 200 million screens on Apple Music, but I got like 1.3 billion on that. So it's just like, just all the other screens just came from what you know what I'm saying? - I think a lot of times people ain't tuned in. But sometimes people just kinda want to hate too. - Yeah, yeah. - I thought some words, like, put it like this. - I'm funny shit though. - I remember we talked about this privately. But like even when you showed your crib woman you were like, "Yo, how do you even get this?" Like they were acting like you literally just made like any songs ever. Like you haven't been grindin'. I mean, and that's the ignorance of people not realizing what it is. You know when that happened again? The plane thing, they're like, "Yo, like Ag, no you gotta break this down Ag." How come my boy really afforded plane? No, like because also there's a lot of miseducation. People think, "Well, you have to be a billionaire in order to play." Right? They see a lot of people, they see their favorite rappers red planes, they never see their favorite rapper, own planes. And I've realized this about you where you take a very different approach that's kinda similar to an approach that I used to take back in a day. I remember when I went to college for the first time. And you tell me how much a haircut cause for you from. But yo, I went to the local barber shop that cut niggas here. Like on campus, yo, the dude charged me like $28 and he gave me a receipt. He like rang it up. And I'm like, "Yo, I felt robbed." Not even because it was a price. And by the way, this was back like, this is like 2010 type show. Oh yeah, I was just saying, "20 dollars, shit." So when he rang it up, all I remember was that chin. And I was like, "Yo, that's not how we deal with barbers." Now where I'm from? Like you just kinda dappin' 'em off. He know what's up, you know what I mean? At that time here cause it was like $20 was good. But whatever, it wasn't about the X-ray, $8,000. For me it was just like, yo, this seems crazy. So you know what I did? I went there one more time. And I went there. I looked around. And every equipment he had, I memorized. And when I got back home, I bought every motherfucker. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I cut my hair for the next 10 years. Yeah. So it's one of those things. I see that in you. Yeah. Where you're not the person who, like before you rent a studio, mm-hmm. For a hundred days in a year, you're gonna build a studio. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm build one. Shit. Once I peep to play, I'm gonna, I'm with the, you know, I'm on a magazine. I'm on the money side. So once I peep to play, once I feel like, oh yeah, I charge me how much a day to be in this motherfucker 12 hours. You give me what? 4,000. I'll be there. You be there month and go, be my own. I got that charge. Y'all that has to be in that motherfucker. So that's kind of just the way. And then like I said, you know what I mean? Let's just go back to what you said. But like I ain't got like my, my, I feel like you know, people, I do feel like people give me slack just because like, you know, I ain't like, I feel like the more Aaron give is, the more people want to prove to you, like they like I high when you like have a bad moment. Like they want to high when you have a bad moment or you have a bad era time, you know what I'm saying? Just because like you been so arrogant, you know what I'm saying? I don't really see like the humble people, you know what I'm saying? You know, just getting treated like that for real. People should be like, oh, you know what I'm saying? He dope. I'm fucking shit like that. I don't really give a fuck. That's kind of like how I build my career. Like I ain't really just popping off all the time. Oh, like that. I just really just flung like they would climb me by the plane. I wouldn't even really trip. And they were like, he ain't no having a week, you know what I mean? Yeah, they were going crazy. Yeah man, I mean, I don't really be tripping on you like that. He knows so funny because again, a lot of what was really missing in just like the black community is really education because if you actually just kind of did the math on it, he'd be like, oh, okay, that actually makes sense. Actually, he's probably saving some money. Yeah. Right. You gotta look at it as equity. It's just a lot of black people, you know what I'm saying? I feel like even some people in general don't know about like equity. It's just like, say right now I could be the main, you know what I'm saying? And I'm just throwing numbers out there. I could be the main, you know what I'm saying? Seven eight million, you know what I'm saying? And you could like, I'm going to have 500 dollars in my bank account, you know what I'm saying? You understand that I got all these assets. It's way different from blowing the money. Asset's stuff you could liquidate at anytime. Stuff that don't lose value. I just, you know what I'm saying? My home, you know what I'm saying? I could, you know, take equity out of that anytime I want to have ever needed some money. Millions of dollars. My plan, I could sell. It keeps its value because it's a plane. Like it's going to keep its value. If I want to sell it, I could sell it. So it's like those safer ways to put your money in things because it's things you could make money out of house. You know, I could make money out of it. I rent my studio out, I rent the place out. My plane, like I rent my plane out. So it's keeping the same equity that it has, but it's making money at the same time. So that's a double way. If you just had your money in a bank, you can make money. But I get like a really kind of making a small percentage like, you know, every year. Plus. You see, they said a couple of banks went under. Yeah, you feel it in the bank? And they make shit on it and really feel safe. I feel like it's more safer to just buy properties. You feel it because the property, you could make money while you don't. And the property value is just going to keep going up. So it's like, that's a safer way to hold your money to me than even banks. Just having properties because you could make money out of them at the same time. I'm like, you know the money there. You could always sell it. If you can't sell it to another person, you could just go take equity out. It's still be when you could take the 80% of what their house worth, you know what I'm saying? Get the money and rent it out. And those people that's rented out pay the mortgage. So you still got the house. You took the money out to go make another investment. It's just like, let's shit like that. Like, you know what I'm saying? Most people don't rent it. No for it. Like that, you know what I'm saying? Why are you that kind of savvy with like, you know, kind of either investments or you feel like you're thinking out the box? Because usually a lot of people, when they get, you know, into being rich or wealthy, they usually just give their money to somebody else to say, yo, you figure out how to continue the wealth. And I'm just going to keep being the artist because that's the only thing I'm good at. Man. I just learned earlier, you can't, you can't really just 100% kind of nobody but just nobody ain't going to go haul for you. Like you go haul for yourself. But there's one thing by ain't nobody going to go haul for you. So I just be true. I just be knowing like, you know, and I always try to do that because like I said, but like I've been in the game on a little minute, but like I've been in the game. Like I made a lot of money. Like early in my career, just doing shows and a chill and circling shit, like eating up them 20,000. And I was saving a lot. So like I said, I kind of ran through like all the shit that I really wanted to have. Like all the jury, all the, you know what I'm saying? So I was just looking enough to have that early career to where, when I did get to the point. I'm always glad that it took me a long as a minute to get mainstream. Like I was like, you know, I'm saying, I ain't going to say super long, but like from 2017, 2018 to the 19, 2020. I wouldn't even say I really was just kind of like mainstream to like 2021 for real. So like I had like, but I was grinding before that. You feel 2016, 2017. My little mixtape's on spring real and shit, but I was making a little money. But it took me a minute to get mainstream though. But I got mainstream, I had everything. I really wanted. I was selling that shit. I wasn't in really. Most people like, they just get in the check when they get mainstream. So that first check during your prime, you know what I'm saying? You go blow out of that. It's kind of like too late. You ain't really learning. But I thought you learn your lesson. You ain't, you ain't, you ain't had no most. I learned my lesson before I was mainstream. So the, all this money really kind of like profit. I already, you know, bought my little shit that I need to buy, you know, saying liquid data that money. And you know, when it bought some shit with assets, so by the time I get the big checks, it's like, oh, it ain't shit I need to, it ain't nothing extra that I need to buy for it. I didn't have that thing. Like, shit, I barely even be rocking a shirt on this shit. I don't need rid of your shirt. No, you definitely, you look different. Yeah. Looks like you've grown a bit. Looks like you, you know, you're. You're very comfortable where you're at. You're not trying to show people that because a lot of times artists are trying to show people they're successful. Yeah, yeah, not in the business. Going to this new project, I remember what you sat here before. I'm wondering, what's the biggest change you've had? And like what does life taught you or what life experiences have kind of like changed you where you're like, these are the things that that kind of now matter to me. Or really just tap, you know, just for the music concert, like, you know, I'm more tapped in back into like my fan base, fan base, like, Nertra and them. Like, this was a project for them. Like, and, you know, it was receptive, real fucking good, you know, saying, way more than my last project, you know, I'm saying that I was, you know, kind of trying to like do, you know, some different, you know, I'm saying, which I feel like it was a good project, but I really feel like my fan base ain't really understanding. But you knew that though. Yeah, I was like, we had that conversation about, you know, I feel like you wanted to try and you know, yeah, you feel me? I want to try new shit, you know what I'm saying? But, you know, it's a lot of times, like I said, you know, you try, you try different shit, you know what I'm saying? But I know what my, you know, my fan base won't. And a lot of times you just got to kind of like, just, I always be looking like, I'll be feeling like I just been in the, cause I know how long I've been in the game. I always be feeling like, always time for me to switch up, but I had the real, I just like the last, like last year, I was like, oh, like on the main screen level, like they just getting to know me, you know what I'm saying? So it's like, I can't switch up too quick, you know what I'm saying? Because just because I think that I've been in the game like a long time, but my new fans, they just getting to know me. So if I switch up too quick, it's like, shit, you switching up, you know what I'm saying? So I gotta give them what I gave my underground fans first. So they could fall in love with me, like my underground fans. And then we could all be together. So I kind of just did so searching. I was just like, I went in the studio and just, you know, fucking love scores, part two. And it's the shit that they love. And I, it's doing, you know, saying, hell of good, even better than the last project. And shit. So, you know, making the adjustment. I feel like my fans, they already know I'm just giving them good music. They just don't know what type of music I'm gonna give them. So a lot of times they're probably like, I mean, really fucking with this project, we know Blue kind of doing some different shit. We know he telling us it's fun. We just think he doing some different shit right now. We gonna come back when he dropped shit. We won't love scores. That's the shit they want. That toxic or be shit. That's what I was gonna say. So it's like, you know, it seems like you're saying you knew that that's what like going going in. Like, you know, that's the shit they're like, you'll give us that shit. Let me ask this question though. Do you feel like that kind of restrains or constrains you from kind of growing or is it something that like, you already, that's just natural to you, but you still have to try to, you know, find other, like, you know, lanes and patterns. How to really kind of express yourself because, you know, you're, you're, you're, you're, don't think a little about artists like y'all is that when you come around, I know the reason I'm asking about your life is, I know your life experience probably is why somebody music is gonna sound. I was gonna sound. Like if you've been just in a happy relationship and everything's going up or if you've been through some shit, you've been in some trials and tribulations. You know, in the family or your work life, like, she's gonna be sound and be influenced by that. And life is important. But sometimes fans will look at you like, nah, I listen to blue when, when I'm like, fuck that bit, man. Like, I'm listening to blue and whatever, whatever. And you become the guy for that, right? Yeah. Which is, which is really dope too, because they're saying that you do this so well. You help them express these emotions so well. Yeah, it's too late for me to go back now. I feel like I kind of, it's kind of like you at the point of an overture and I'll get them too many classic ass shit that they got them through. They, the biggest of heart breaks, like fucking miss it and all these underground bangers that I didn't gave them that hundreds of millions of screens that they got them through. So much shit is like, you can't start trying to rap those, nah? Like, you know, for like, bro, you, you, you here for this reason. You know what I'm saying to give you. So I had the kind of like, accept it. Like, let me just try to nurture that. You never know how, it's, you never know how many people, you know what I'm saying going through that. And then if I want to do something like cross over shit, how so hop on somebody else shit. Like, I used to try to like, oh, I'm gonna make the cross over shit and get them to hop on my shit. Like, nah, like I'm gonna go hop on that shit, go to the day world. Back of head, cross over head if I want to, you know what I'm saying? Man, shit, like that. And then just keep nurturing my fan base because my fan base is going to make me be able to tour forever. Nurturing them. So I'd be, sometimes I'd just be knowing what I could do and then I try to just do that because I know I could do it. Like, I know I could make some, you know, some fire man's cream shit, but it's just like trying to ride that wave and then not dealing with your real fans is like, she could fuck you up. So I just had to get back to that. No, you're right. There are certain people, there's a finite group of people like, I'm gonna lie to you. I have a hurt nigga playlist. Yeah. I have a legit hurt nigga playlist. And I'm gonna be honest with you, if, it don't matter who I'm dealing with, like if I was upset or I felt whatever, or I'm gonna lie to you, I'm gonna be honest with you. I like playing victim. So sometimes you want to feel certain type of way, right? So you know how you get to that point? You got to get into those fields where I'm not gonna lie, some music draws that feeling and emotion out of you. And you want, like you wanted them to do. You feel me so it's like, again, I'm gonna go to your catalog to go get that. And I think that's really important also. Here's the thing. Those feelings are like evergreen, right? So like, okay, cool. Maybe I'm not feeling like it today. But six months later when this, you know what I mean? This shit going left, shit is what it is. Yeah. And maybe certain seasons for shit, like I ain't got a lot of shit. It be sort of like, I could do my most, I do my most screams when they start to get winter time when they start to get cold. Yeah, yeah. I get the door. Like I probably do like on like a regular week, you know what I'm saying? You probably don't like, probably don't like six million screams a week on Apple or some shit like that. But when they get the winter, you get the door. Like, you just like nine or 10, you know what I'm saying? Just, just, wait, it actually moves like that? Yeah. That actually, that's actually crazy because usually some of the time people want to hear like, yo, we outside in the corner. And I'm gonna have more listeners. You look on Spotify at night. You're gonna be more listeners in certain months. I like, like, around like eight through, that's the thing like about rap. You kind of listen to rap like all through the day. That's why rap scream more than R&B. Yeah. Because you could listen to rap all through the day. Either you booked a tie or whatever, move to when you probably gonna listen to rap. But like, you're gonna be at the club listening to your master for real. You ain't gonna be at the club listening to. I have a lot of people. I swear. I think my record is probably like 25 times. You know what's crazy about it? I wasn't even going, like I wasn't going to anything. But for whatever reason, it hasn't even ever told you that. I've listened to some of your music. And it's because, I don't know, and maybe I'm like, I don't know what the word is. Where it's like you like to torture yourself. But it's like, I wanna feel sad. Like I wanna feel sad, you know what I mean? Like I've listened to certain songs and I'm like, yo, this song, like it's evokes certain emotion. So I don't only listen to it when I feel like that. I'll listen to it a bunch because I wanna feel like that. Yeah. For whatever reason. And maybe that's why I deeper psycho-lossal issue where I'm like, yo, I wanna feel like that's some other shit in the past. That's kinda how it is. A lot of people feel like that. But that music, like it always screamed though. Like you can have a hot rap song for the moment. But like for real though, the R&B song, like the music is going to keep screaming. So that's a good thing about it because people always revisit their emotions. And people always, people really feel, you know, you gonna feel heartbroken more than you're gonna feel like, you know what I'm saying? I'm just saying that's the thing. Yeah, it's really. So I'm surprised you actually checked the analytics to that extent. That's dope. Yeah, yeah. I'm always trying to see. I'm trying to see what my style is. It's like the trend. Yeah, I'm trying to see what I'm starting. You gotta check shit like that too because so you could know when like, if I ain't checking analytics and shit, I would know like when I'm like need to feed this fan. But like, you know what I'm saying? I probably be like, okay, I dropped moon, boy, I dropped tantra. I'm like, I look at my shit to the point where like I was okay, I dropped moon, boy, I dropped tantra, you know what I'm saying? That's kind of like some weird space man shit I'd be doing. I'm getting more screams on Spotify right now. But my Apple usually do more. You feel me? So I probably, you know, doing more screams on Spotify right now because I'm dropping like the mainstream to the world project and that's more Spotify. It's like, it's more diverse about, you know what I'm saying? But then when I drop a project like Loscaus, that's where you know what I'm saying? I'm going to hire up on the Apple charts. I'm doing more screams on Apple than on three times more screams on Apple than I'm doing on Spotify because it's like, that's when I know I'm hitting my core. You feel me? When I'm doing more screams on Apple, I know I'm hitting my core core, you know what I'm saying? So I watch it to that point. Like on this project, I see like I'm going way like I probably, I probably will like number 11 on the Apple charts. Like on my last album, you know what I'm saying? But on this one, I went like top five, you feel me? So it's like, I see that trend. So I stood in that shit so I can know like when I'm hitting my fans or what I need to give them, you know what I'm saying? And that's how you don't lose your fan page for it. I'm surprised you actually are that in tune. Usually, you know, people like, most artists I speak to, they're like, they're a little bit detached from that type of number. I only hear certain artists like talk about those in depth numbers because, you know, I don't me personally, I care about, you know, demographics and like really analytics because it helps you kind of guide yourself. But people don't really kind of know about that type of thing. You got to know them numbers though to see what you're stuck in when you negotiate. Because you know, it's like shit. Like I said, I said, my, I said my deals up like I'm always coming up on a new deal like every like three or four years, you know, saying that's how I set my shit up. So I'm going to monitor my shit. So when I go to that next situation, I know like, yeah, like, okay, you know, if you don't know your shit, then you just like, oh, you know what I'm saying? I'm glad you brought that up. So people hit me up with like fans, fans. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They probably don't know. But for whatever reason, you know, nothing it is, it's because you're independent. And I think because you don't talk enough shit, they're so inclined to call cap on you, bro. I'm telling you. Like you were talking the last time you were here, you were saying, you know, listen, you know, you've had deals that you've turned down. And I don't know if you mentioned a specific number of that one mentioned that. But it was like, yo, I think he's capping about the shit, man. Like I don't think he's getting all of that. And I thought about him like, yo, man, like what is it? You know, as you mentioned, like you, you always have a deal coming up. Like why people think that your deal, like, your worth is an artist. And where it's actually at. I don't know. Probably people don't understand that like I produce it or write to because you got to look at it. I'm going to get a different deal. And it's about like what it's take you to record a hit song. So I'm going to get a different deal. Then somebody who's like, they got to put all these people around you for you to make a record. They got to spend 300, 400,000 every time you making a record just because they got to put writers around you. They got to put like all these expensive producers around you. They got to dress you. They got to thank got to do that to me. They just throw me in the booth. You feel me? All the songs that y'all been hearing, like it's just me. Like you feel me? It's just fun. That's a different type of, that's a different type of, that's a different type of dude. Ain't nobody see this man. Have you thought about the, so you know, you've been independent. I wonder what you think my major is at this point. I got a lot of them. These, these, like, and that go on like from, like, I don't even be having a record. You know, I don't even be having a real record on my own, on my own, bro. Because like everybody trying to give me a studio, like, you know, say every label trying to give me a studio, you know what I'm saying? Well, I think people sleep on the fact that when you're a prolific writer and when you could, like, you know, without getting to some of the, the taboowness of the game back in a day, people forget that a lot of times the person you see singing the music, ain't the one who wrote it. Definitely the one who produced it. And obviously, they ain't the one who engineered it. And also sometimes you don't realize that when you get somebody who is the writer, who could also be the artist, you know, I get different type of, they get different type of deals. Like, look on my track list on my last album that I just wrote. Every track you're going to see Jeremy Biddle. And it ain't going to be no more people on that, like Jeremy Biddle, Jeremy Biddle, Jeremy Biddle, Jeremy Biddle, except the ones that featured on it. I'm just going to put two people name on it, you know what I'm saying? But I only got three features on that, you know what I'm saying? So it's like not saying that I don't work with, you know what I'm saying? I don't work with, you know what I'm saying? Other writers and shit like that. I wouldn't. It's just like, everybody can't do that. Like everybody just can't go into studio and these niggas need big producers. They need big producers, bro. I don't need no big producers. Like, none of the songs that turned it to his for me was never with a big producer. They always been with like a producer. I just found like and just got the building with so that's different. Then us having to do this, do this, do this, do this. So hey, yeah, I want a big bag when I'm coming to because they know I can do more shit. I can write for your other artists that you got on the label. I got what's the number right now for because you're just going to empire right? Yeah. What's the number right now for you to get on that big major? What's that number man? Just throw out a number. Throw out a number. We can at least know nothing that you will leave but it would entice you to have the conversation. Because also the thing I noticed with you too, you're not like, you know what I mean? Yeah, I was watching like, you know, I like to compare like sometimes rap to sports and shit like the music to sports. And like, it was like, oh, this quarterback is about to get this big deal. But yeah, that's six years. You got locking for six years. You didn't think who like, you're gonna argue two albums. You ain't trying to get no negative five hours. You're like, I give two. I mean, if the price is right, I give five, you know what I'm saying? I give five. Yeah, I give five because the price is right. You feel if the price right, the price is right. Five years, you ain't doing five years. Because I know you move quick. You ain't doing five years. I could do five five years. I could do five five years but what I want to do five and five years, hell yeah. I could do five and five years but how you got to understand this too, it's all about how you scratch your dear. You're going to have to do five and five years because I'm not scratching my dear to where like you got any time to drop my album. Like you just can't drop a album when the U.S. label think that you should drop the album. You got 12 months max. If you don't drop the album in 12 months, you know what I'm saying then, you know what I'm saying? It's like you just ain't dropping. You can't hold me for three years because on this one album, you know what I'm saying? And scratch this shit out. Nah, I don't do that. So a lot of people don't, I guess a lot of people don't understand that you could put that in your contract. They're 20 million dollars. I think that's about it. Huh? 20 million. That's too low. Really? Making some serious money out here. I once had another label, 20 million. You know how you would, what, what, what, you wouldn't breezy like, you know, I had that relationship right there because I mean, look at them like this is, this is a musical thing. I'm like, alright, it's going on here. Yeah. But I think both of you are really creative. I don't know if you've done music in studio together, but I'm like, yeah, now we got, we got in the studio a lot of time. Like I'll be putting up on them a lot. You feel like breezy, like he created himself, like he like a writer, but like a real artist, you know what I'm saying? So, yeah, yeah, we got that like condition, we get into the studio like we write, we listening to each other's shit, you know what I'm saying? Just organic music, this music vibes, you know what I'm saying? Breezy cool, like, yeah, relationship definitely, yeah. Hey, the, um, you playing instruments now, my nigga? I'm learning to play piano. I see you playing piano in the video, look at what's going on. Yeah, now that was fake now. Oh, yeah. You know how to play it, you know, I know how to play a couple of songs now. When I see this shit, I'm like, oh man, this thing is, this thing is fucking it up right now. I'm just trying to get on some John Legend shit. What's going on right now? I'm working the, cause I'm working towards this shit, though, cause I feel like I'm still just, I ain't did a tour, you really got a grand piano in the crib. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like there's a life like, you know, the grand piano's all good. Yeah. And I just be wanting to do different shit when I go to, like this time, not going to talk, I want to bring a live band. Like, it usually just be coming out saying it, but I was like, this time, like, I want a live band. I want to be like, why? Because like, I want to, I want to have that whole type of experience, you know what I said, like that whole experience, you don't have to say it. When I hear live band and it's like Anderson Park and all of the people like that, like, I've always heard it's really hard, but also, you know, I come from, you know, I'm just making some, like I come from watching Raggy and Dan Sullen. By the way, if you watch Afrobeats, they all perform live band. Yeah. That's one of the only things I've definitely said I wish hip-hop artists would adopt more, obviously cause, it costs more, right? Because if it's you and your DJ with a back and track, you're good. Yeah. But a live band experience is like a different thing, man. Like I watch Burnable, make more of them. Make more of them. Yeah. Of course, I see solos where it's just like, you know what I mean? It's a drum solo here or it's just like, you know, it's my playing guitar and just have the vocals. It's really, really dope. What makes you want to do that? Oh, just seeing shit like that, you feel me, Dan just, I always just want to, like, I always feel like shit. I could bring like, how can I bring the next level to my shows? You feel my always like, how can I give my fans more? Like, I know I could just come out and just say something. They go saying a word for word, but how can I like get them experience it? And they make it to where you could scratch the show out longer. You feel you got the drum, solos and shit. And they come in there and play it. And if you don't know, you can go change clothes and shit like that. Come back out. It make you like be able to do because if you just going back to back, back to back track, man, you always have to do that. Thirty damn souls to do a hour. But if you like got shit in between, you know, dancers and you know shit like that, it make you, each song is an experience, you know what I'm saying? And it's just a better experience. Make more people want about tickets to your shit. You feel it? And so you go from, you know, doing bigger, bigger, bigger venues because people are like, okay, we like his music. And he had a dope at the show. He was like an experience, you know what I'm saying? So, you're kind of looking at this other, like, just an artist's, artistry level. So you want to hide in everything, you know, you want to feed your core, but also you want to, you want to bring the performance level to another level. Yeah. Yeah. I always think about that, bro. I always think about that. I don't know, begin just comfortable in like what what I'm doing just because I know I could do it. I'm always trying to give, you know what I'm saying? More and more to the fans though. They appreciate that shit though. See, people don't appreciate a good creative as marketing no more for real. I don't feel like people appreciate that no, no, that no more. You feel me like coming up with like, you know, tasteful shit to do like when you market in a project like people missed that type of shit. That's why like vinyl sales and shit going up because people miss like tangible shit. That you could buy purchase, put on a wall and shit like that. So, you know, I feel like live bands, shit that you could actually like see, get a different feel of the songs that you've been listening to playing with the motherfucking live instruments and shit just a different experience. I think now is the best time to do that too because you know people been stuck inside for so long. Now it's an opportunity to see everybody to us going stupid right now. What? Everybody to us. I know a lot. I just seen some, some of these announced some tours. I see the prices. I think I got money, but I still like some of these tickets. I said, yo, yo, let me get some tickets. Dog like tickets is going crazy now. I've been got there or I've been making my tickets afforded for my fans though. I don't even be kidding. I already took it one time this time. Like right now they see you. Yeah. Or like see you like that. I know you've always been. But you want to look at it though. How many fans can really you got some young fans that can't even afford $50. You got you, you kind of like a limited amount of people you can have in the business just because you want to say like, oh, I ain't no fifteen twenty dollar orders. But it's not that. Because I mean, I've seen like me like. Got there like not probably like still like a thousand venue, you know what I'm saying? Still like six hundred out of tick like six hundred tickets, you know what I'm saying? Then you almost fool and I just be put up a bit bright link and got them be like, yo, I'm doing this for all my fans who can't, you know what I'm saying? Probably couldn't, you know what I'm saying? Couldn't afford a ticket or whatever. That like, I. Go and get them in the month. Look at sell out in five minutes, you know what I'm saying? All I'm going and then the show be packed out and these people like that, they ain't have fifty dollars plus money to get an outfit and probably ain't have nobody to go with them. They cost, they got fifty dollars. So they were like, nah, I just ain't going to go. It's like, you know, you won't everybody have experience of most screens or most people in the building. So when I told him really tour for like right now, I'm not really touring for like money. I'm really taking like, you know, bags that are probably going to be our smithy production like little smaller bags, you know what I'm saying? Those are the vessel bags. Yeah, you feel me, but it's going to, it's going to get bigger though, right? Hey, what do you think about this one going to really like viral recently? I heard one with you. Well, not with you because it wasn't you. Yeah. The AI stuff. So artificial intelligent music. I've heard, like I seen people condemn it, but I don't hear anyone saying anything positive about it. Have you heard of it? I heard that shit. I heard that shit. I heard that shit. I heard that shit. I heard that shit. Crazy. What do you think about that this shit like in terms of new technology? I feel like that shit. I feel like that. I feel like you know what some shit knew and it just came out the blue. They feel the, they feel the killer. They feel the killer. It's because it's too blatantly copyright. You know, it's too blatantly. Yeah, the label is rocking with it. Yeah, the label is like rocking with this shit. Like I don't think nobody rocking with this shit. You can't just take nobody. Well, that's why that's why I was I was stopped. Yeah. I don't, I think like for example. Yeah, like if they copyright or they do some shit with their making a song for you, but you got to look at it's up to you could you could have. Feels good. And like you could say, oh, it's not technically doing this, but what a judge going to think because the judge got to find this fine to say. No, I agree. I'm like, M&M, the judge going to say that's his like, I agree. Yeah, I agree that's your music. Yeah. But what I'm saying is that just banning the technology, I think people might be a little bit short-sighted and I realize how good it could be. Like for example, right? I don't know. And by the way, I'm not saying this should happen. Yeah. But say, say someone created or say there are some writers or say those, say popsicle past the way. But he had a book of rhymes. The family approves that rhymes being over a certain beat. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like making a whole pop smoke app and then he's a, he ain't got shit. That was so bad. They ain't gonna care if they got no day of book arrives. You trying to make an assasada. I'm talking for no mixing. Yeah, you're saying on camera. I'm talking about Michael Jackson when that she was slapping. Yeah. That's about the moonwalk. I just forget I couldn't do it. Yeah, if it's approved by the, yeah. Yeah, if it's approved by the, you know what I'm saying? If they want to make some, you know what I'm saying? Some, some, some, some, some more possible music to help the family over some AI. And people to listen to it though. Because people so used to wear technology, they ain't gonna listen to it. And I'm thinking like this. Yo, my boy Poo Shasty locked up right now. You know, you know, some artists, they get locked up. They got a lot of shit stored in the vault. I'm pretty sure bro has a creative brainy active in there. He writing or whatever. I'm pretty sure he could work with his team or whatever to get some AI stuff. It's going to sound just like him. Yeah. He can re-record the re-version when he get out. Not only that. So it's those things. I ain't never think of it like that. So people who died and people who are locked up, obviously, it's owned like, if a nigga say it's, if a nigga use your voice, whatever, you own it. Yeah. Definitely with that. You know what I'm gonna, I listen to this once you hear that, it drinks a lot of money. Imagine if someone like, oh, Drake doesn't like you, he owns it. But here's the next part. This is where I want to hear how you feel about it because you're an artist. Now when you embrace the technology, which I think he has used is the first two things I said, can it also be said, well, we could, like for example, somebody could just write and create your song without you even doing anything. That's the scary part because when I think about your music, I'm like, oh, you're talented. That's why he's coming out. They could have a think tank of 20 motherfuckers who's gonna create the song, kind of trying to match to what they think it is. Whatever, but they're creating something that's not your creation. So we might like it and us liking your music is an extension of you, except now when the AI creates a hit, is it an extension of you or we just like some shit in your voice? That's not your creation at all. I mean, I don't think that would be no different from somebody using an artist using the writer because they've been using the writer, it's not them. They're using the writer and they just re-voicing it. Re-voicing what somebody else said. That's the same thing as something forcing it for you. You still, it's still not your lyrics. You got that saying? Not saying it bad though, but I feel like people, I feel like, you know, he's gonna have his ways where it can't work and it's gonna have some other ways than it's just not gonna work. But if you're thinking about like that, because that's the case, you could just go on that bitch. Yeah, just have somebody just go on that bitch. You could make a whole album. And if you don't tell them about it, they have a hot, hot must that shit was sounding like like the real shit. Yo, this shit is so scary. But not only just recording, right? Like, they have even like chat GBT and all these stuff. They pretty much take everything you've ever done. They study you so much as a technology that say, like I always look at, like say, say like drink and I'm like, you know what people always like in question about drink? They get how to fuck you at every court side of every game. You fucking all the bitches. You're doing too many things to be really thinking what rhymes with, what rhymes with carbon. Like, you know, that come all, bro. Like, that's why it looks like it's hard. It looks really hard. Like, how could you write at that level, but you have to do so many things, right? Like even a brunt, like think about the brunt. You have to be the ambassador of this shoe company. You got this going on. You got your kids game, but you still got to be the best player in the league, right? How about if now you could just say, yo, write me a verse, you know how all my other songs sound. Write me a young blue verse about me and my girl. We went to the mall. You know, we seen her eggs. We started fighting. She left with her eggs heartbreak. Yeah. And then they will write you a verse. Like the software will write you a verse. So now you're creative. You know, like, I think that's the interesting thing that's been happening with this thing where people like, they say lawyers are using it. Like a lawyer will be like, yo, write me a defense for this guy that I'm defending. I'm like, nigga, ain't that your job? We can tell that the software. Imagine that's fucking a rap or fucking a music. I don't feel like the fans will accept it to say, well, I feel like it definitely get, if I like it, some screens, but it definitely get less screens that if like the real, you know, your real fans like, oh, this ain't, you know, if it, if it get out, you know, it's a slippery slope for sure. But that's true. I feel like people that really love the music because you gotta look, AI can't go in well, they can't holographic, but AI can't go and perform the song. You know, say AI can't, you know, really, you know, it probably be a fake. A lot of times people get fans because of your story, like your real story. If it's AI, people ain't gonna connect with it as much. It's just gonna be some robotic shit. You feel it, man? It probably still do screen, some screen. It probably be some TikTok songs that just blow up. Some new just TikTok hits and shit like that. But from real artists, ain't going down. I don't want to hear no shit there, no AI. But I ain't gonna lie. The way the gang go, you know, you don't know what the fuck they probably do on it. They probably get to the point where they just like accept it. Shit, you know, they AI, I went harder than that. Yo, this is producer who said he's gonna teach me how to make any rapper, rap any verse, like another rapper. I could take your verse and I could make any rapper, rap your verse just like you. And I'm like, that's so crazy. But that's the technology. Man, look, that's what I say. I don't get my money now. I don't feel like getting the invest in my shit because I'm already investing. If I don't just get the invest in more property, man, because this shit just crazy. It's just crazy. Like, it's just too much technology, man. It's just too much technology. You can just gonna get lost in the sauce forever. I don't really got no. What are you passionate about these days? Man, just. What do you keep up with? Sports, politics? Man, bro, I ain't gonna lie. I wake up every day. This gonna sound boring, it's fun. But I wake up every day trying to see how I can get to the next level as artists because I just don't feel like I reach my peak, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I wake up every day. Like, what we doing? Like, how can we, you know, saying some promotion, or some marketing shit, you know what I'm saying? You be a man. And how high I can got damn. How I can make shit bigger, you know what I'm saying? And that's all I'm on right now. Until I get to the age where I wanna transition to some other shit, you be a man right now, I just wanna take this shit for. I know I tell them that I am. So I wanna get to the point where I'm doing, you know what I'm saying? Fucking stupid big ass venues. What's your demographic in terms of like analytics with men and women? Like what's the percentage? It's kinda even. Really? Yeah, it really kinda even. Most people think it's more women, but it's actually like a lot of dudes. I really be speaking for them, speaking for them dumb dudes for it. Really? You know what I've realized? Because I got an audience at 90, 90% men, 10% women. And let me say this right now. You played it too, man. I'm serious, cause I would look at it. Yo, you know what I told them, ladies? I said yo, I know it sounds good when it's like always just a bunch of us niggas, but that means I'm a bad shit, man. Haha, yeah. Yo, I put some merch on sale, man. The 10% of women bored more shit than the 90% of niggas. Think about that shit. That's what I thought about them like, you know what? Yeah, women fuel everything now. Women gonna do it. That's why when I was watching, I was like, let's see what these niggas on Angeliz show. You gotta talk to the woman, bro. These things don't do nothing, but give you that's like, well, I feel you son. Like, all right, that's cool, but you go buy a concert ticket. No. You know, you know, you don't know. I don't be taking that girl to a lot of them. They go to take that one. But one thing you realize about the market, the woman dictated, right? In the sense of, if not the dude ain't going to be like, oh, I want to go. Let me bring her in. She's like, no, I want to go. It should I. I'll bring you. And then a lot of times if they feel like the women going to be there, a lot of dudes just going to go jump because they, I mean, I don't, I don't want the women going to be there. That blue, I know we're going to go, you know what I'm saying? She's like that. So yeah, yeah, women feel everything. No, that's like what is she doing? But say like, every, every dude, I feel like every dude really lived a life for women. I feel like that just because like, would you care about having this car if you want for women? Would you care about living in this? You know, like, it's like a lot of shit we do is more majority. I ain't going to say everything, but majority of the shit we do is for the other six though, because other than that, we want care. You want care about getting no more fucking hair cut fresh ass. That's what I was thinking about you too. Right? I was like, yo, I feel like this thing of blue and done on the load trying to like really become a little sexy. Because all these singing things want to be like a little sexy. I'm like, this boy lost a little bit of weight. He was never you. Yeah. But he lost a little bit of extra weight. I definitely started getting the gym and shit, Motel. I started working out and keep feeling. I'm like, this thing it took the orange out of his head now. You got this nice little clean cut. I'm like, this boy really, he's trying to have the bitches love him. That's what you trying to do. And just go from studying your fat. I was just realized I was like, can I be saying like, nigga's going viral for their shows that shit they have and they shirt all saying to the girls and shit like that. I used to be on stage. I couldn't do that shit. I didn't tell them big and close. Just got there. I ain't used to, we even feel comfortable like singing in the girl face or no shit like they feel. I gotta get my physique right. I was just doing that shit just so I can give better shows and feel more comfortable like on stage and shit like that. But I see that fucking picture. I see that fucking picture. How'd you lose weight? I don't know. I mean, that's bad man. Kelo surgery. Oh, hell not. Everybody's getting them now. Everybody getting them. Everybody. No, I really just got what I'm trying to, bro. You got it. I already got that. I already had that body built. I was just eating fucked up. So I just. You don't even roll the lights. So like, you can't really. It's hard to eat well, right? Yeah, it's hard to eat well, you know what I'm saying? But it was easy for me. Like I could lose. I see you post one picture and you had the shirt off. I forgot what the caption was, but I was hating already. I'm like, it's more the fuck I'm in. I'm like, dude, what's talking shit about that? I feel like it ain't for everybody, bro. I feel like, I ain't gonna lie. Women are really cute. They like you, they don't feel like you for no six foot. Like that's why I like it. Like, you're not the wave, man. Yeah. I went to a Ryle Wave show. Yeah. I was like, you're a fuck, how are he? Ryle Wave did the show and I saw people crying. Yeah. He did the show and I swear it was kind of interesting. Everybody was amazing. So I was sold out of Barclays. Yo, he, like he ain't even face a crowd. Yeah. He was just singing his heart out. And they were just like, I could just smell the moisture in there. Yeah. Crazy. That's like, be for real. I didn't have fans cry out to shows and shit like that. And I ain't even, that's when I ain't even have nothing. I really just wanted to do it for me. You feel me? You feel, I wasn't really doing it for anybody. Just so I could feel more comfortable. But like, brother like, comfortable with himself in that, you know what I'm saying? Like, I don't feel like I be lying if I said I was comfortable with myself the way I was. You feel, you got to do whatever, make you feel comfortable, you know what I'm saying? Cause, I mean, like, you know what I'm saying? Women, you know what I'm saying? Really, really care. They like you. They like you. I'm really, you know what I'm saying? I think it's fitting as negative as shit, it's like, you know, no difference for real. You could have realized, it's like, especially when it comes to art, like, music. Whatever you say is just so much more important. Yeah. Yeah, if you got a message, you could become someone that's desired based on what you're saying. That's not what you're saying. Like, what you're saying. Like, there's a lot of your music you're speaking in love language. Like just simply that, right? And that love language is what people would want from maybe not necessarily you, but from their partner. But if they keep hearing from you, they're in love with the person you are. I don't know what you look like. I want to, I want to arm it, don't ever fucking matter. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's definitely true. They don't give a fuck shit. I've been doing this shit so long. I ain't never had no seat space deal, don't. Yeah, they got it. Yeah. I still for a second when I seen you and Chris Brown, I'm like, this is because Chris Brown, Chris Brown's an amazing army. Obviously legendary. Like, you know, I don't even want to just rank him all the time. But what Chris Brown does is Chris Brown gets into his rap bag of time. And I think he's a good rapper. But I don't think people love him. Love him for the rap as much as they love for what he's sung. And I think that's the thing with you, right? I was like, they love you for these songs and these like almost like ballads that you're hitting. And I think you can rap your ass off. And now you're multi-towned to be able to do the other shit. But they're like, yeah, it's not what I want. Yeah, we like you for that, but we love you for this. They shit, they don't even like you. They like you. They like skip. That's probably mostly females. I think I think do. Not a guy that got a dude, because obviously in a dude like, man, when we go get that investment, it's like one of my mixtape that I just dropped, you know, and like the scree shit. Maybe we're going to get another vest man. You coming down this on a beach ship. Man, maybe we're going to get like nigga y'all ain't y'all ain't screaming it. That's what y'all tell us. I'm telling you what do you think I'm going to do? You're the do's will bring up some shit that they've never supported. That what I'm saying. You're broke. When you're going to do another scree's talking, man, you can add things in my yard. I'm doing that shit on flop nigga. I do this shit. I'm selling. Stop asking me the fucking question. You get what I mean? No, I think he says. And I don't want to go to no show with a bunch of dudes in the front bro. I ain't, I just don't want to go to no show with a bunch of dudes in the front row bro. Like, I ain't going back in the day. I was in college. I went to a walk of flock of show. Oh my god. Number dudes. First of all, they started fighting those shooting in the club. That ain't fun to me, man. That was definitely not. I want to see women, women, energy, women, like I want to smell women and now I want to just be women, bro. Like I can't, like I like dudes, you know what I'm saying? Like dudes to be here, you know what I'm saying? Like I'm mixture of like, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, but it got to be a more women to me and ratio for me to just enjoy and enjoy the show for a 100% man. You know, wait, who have you, you know, I feel like your palate and not only cring for yourself but cring for others. It's so large. Have you worked with or have it worked with, you know, especially this top around that, you're like, damn, should I want to get him or her on this particular project? Man, I got this, like not nobody, I really just work with everybody. I really just want to work with, but you know, I got this, this song that I did with a Bieber that, shit, I'm really trying to just release you. I'm really trying to get them. Hey, I just know real just that. Now, really, really just that I'm really trying to get them to release. I'm just putting that out in the air over there. You still? Hey, but I'm glad you are. Yo, I know, I know two other artists with a song that they've played me in my own. It's just fire. It's with Bieber. And I'm like, when is it coming out? It's like, oh, that's the thing. And I'm like, you know, he cut it. He cut the record. Yeah. He cut the record, but it's like, but it was like some shit, murder head. And when I was in the studio with him, he just like, God damn, he was like, man, I think he was sound good on this. And I got on him up fucking killed it. And so we just killed the record and got there. We just been kind of like going back and forth with the team and shit like that, trying to see if we could release it. But that, that's the thing about music, right? It's like you have a, like when it comes to me and any type of whatever you might consider art or content, I do. I put it out immediately, right? Like there is in like a waiting period or you know what I mean? Like, I'm holding something in the stash that nobody knows. But the music, you got to wait till like all the stars align with that. That what I'm saying, like I don't think I'm going like, bro, I did a song with Zayn Malik, bro, like I did a song. Yeah. And you don't even know about it. Man, you got to get back to the old school way. Leave that bitch. That was the thing. No, it's on my last album. It's on my last album. It was on Tetra, but like I said, I don't feel like I'm in a, like you said, stars align. Yeah. Like I don't feel like I'm in a, I mean, I ain't going to try to, you know, I ain't trying to shit nobody's saying like I'm in the, I ain't in a big enough situation. But I feel like, you know, it's certain shit you need for a record like that. You need like a whole international infrastructure. I ain't really got that. So I feel like I probably should have saved the record. And to like, I got it like a, right, you know what I'm saying? A super right place where you could just blow up to the extent that you could blow up. But you know, I got something in there. I got something in the bank as I ain't tripping. It's going, I'm a catch that one. I feel like I'm really just one, I feel like I'm one of them beat crossover records away from like global record. Yeah, I got one global record because I got the foundation. It's just like I'm one global record. But I was chasing it, but I said I'm not going to chase it on my, like I ain't chasing it on my, just letting it come when it comes. You feel it because it's like chasing it kind of got me getting away from my core. You feel me and I don't want to do that on my whole life. I feel like. Yeah, because it could bring you down a different path chasing shit. And then you're going to realize that whatever record that is, it's going to be a record that you didn't even think. Yeah, the young even think about you. The record is like, no, this is, you're not this is what I do. You ain't going to get that big, but it does. Yeah. Because these days when you put that shit out in the air like, oh, this one to be a hit, who watched it, this one to be a hit, someone that dropped it, like you know what I'm saying. And it's like, it's like the fans damn, they don't let it be a hit. That's because you think it's going to be a hit. It'd be some shit that you just dropped on the album and just, just blow up. You feel me on fucking tick tock of some shit. That's the game. So weird these days, you know what I'm saying. So you never know what the fuck on be a hit. I don't need to be chasing hits. No more. You feel about just trying to make the best record I can. And shit, just put it out. Just let it do what it do. How do you balance that though, right? Or what songs have you called like, this is going to be a hit. I ain't going to lie. I call everyone on my hits. Like I call like everyone on my hits. You know what I'm looking at? I go, you know what I mean? You've called everyone. Yep. I call everyone so far. Like I told them like, you know, every song that I put out that became a hit, I always knew it was going to be a hit. Really, you know what I mean? I'm a good ad Lord now. But you know, you get tired of performing songs though. Nope. I want never get tired of performing songs. Cause I wouldn't even say that. I wouldn't even say that. I wouldn't, I don't get tired of performing. Not for my fans. I see my fans in the building saying, wherever we're, I ain't going to get tired of performing. Cause it's like shit. This, cause I'm performing some new songs too. You just performing yo yo. Cause you got that. I mean, you got to give people time to learn new shit. You see, you got to look like a lot of times. When I first went on my moonboard tour, I thought I dropped moonboard. But full beautiful lives and shit. It get a little birds and shit. Even he like hit the radio and shit like that. And baddest full baddest even hit the radio. They knew everywhere. I was going to show they was like saying beautiful lives to the top of their lungs. So that's kind of like how you know, if the song going eventually be coming hit, you know saying or become like, people always say a hit. It's different tears of hit. Like it could be a hit within your catalog within your fan base. You know, I'd be, I'd be persons feel like if a song of mine got like 30 million screams, I feel like it's a hit in my catalog. And there's some songs that's just, it's like. Like this, I think if it's a safe future, like coding crazy is just a super hit. But I don't think that's a super hit that was to the world. I don't like, did I make beer board? Like, maybe one time like at 67 and then got off. But like if you if you fuck a future, like that's probably one of his top five top 10 songs. And then you're really tapped in with it. So, you know what I mean? It's like that with it. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's a lot of being in a rich explain to me. I feel like you tried to a couple times. What's Moon Boy University? Moon Boy University. It's like a, it's basically a facility I built. Cause like I said, I turned my phone, my whole first house, I built, I mean that I, that I bought all that's a business property now. So I moved and it's whole things like Moon Boy University. It's like I built in a studio on it like a resort studio. It's like a kind of like an all in one place. Just imagine you go, if you go to the studio and you got everything at one spot now, you feel me like a lot of times we go to the studio, but we want to, you know, who we got the basketball gym and they got a spa, you know what I'm saying? They got like whole rooftop of fucking eating area, bowling alley, you know what I'm saying? It's like you ain't got a leave like for celebrities, creators, anybody that can really book the space, you can do everything in one conference room, production room, theater, you know what I'm saying? So it's just kind of like somebody, well creators can come and create and they ain't got a leave, you know, a lot of times they could be going to the studio and be like, man, I wish I could just spend a night in this motherfucker, you know what I'm saying? That's kind of like the idea of it like, for whatever reason, I thought we used to like even send me the cons of I thought this was some shit in the metaverse, bro. No, like because it was like a 3D modeling for I'm like, yeah, cuz that's like, and I was like, this is a metaverse shit. Yeah, that's like, my, oh, I'm wasting a metaverse. So then I remember you like, you got to come and come see one boy in the verse and like, I got to come see the metaverse. No, I got to see this shit in the metaverse. No, I'm a shit. No, I'm a goddamn shit. Get you out there, motherfucker. I'm like, I want to invite person shit to the grand opening shit. It's like, I call it moonboy university because that's the theme. It's like, cuz Niggas is always be at my producer and she's be around my house like sitting in and styling the fuck on the fucking lab with a lab top creating beats and shit. And I used to come out there and be like, man, y'all think it's like, y'all in school, y'all think it's like y'all on campus of shit, you know what I'm saying? And I was just like, shit, moonboy university. So that's the theme behind it. It's like a big ass campus, you know what I'm saying? Keep it a beat, you didn't for tax purposes. You turn that whole business into a business. I ain't no more tax. I ain't no more tax purposes. I ain't no more tax purposes, but it's all gonna be on my own, man. Listen, yo, this is not my house. It's like, yo, yo, I ain't gonna lie. Black Lives Matter in the elephant. They said, yo, they had a mansion. They said, no, this is a campus. It's like, man, this is like just a house. Now, this is a campus. This is a, we got offices all over the place. That's what they realized. Black Lives Matter is a finesse, man. A 10-bedroom mansion. They said, nah, nah, nah, nah, this is all like, I worse, man. It's the American system, bro. Nah, I just, it's just something that I could, you know, just a hub. It's a real, my hair quarter is to my label for real. It's the hair quarter to my label and shit. I'm just booking every child without any end and motherfuckin. So. Did you resolve all the issues with Bootsie if there was? 'Cause I see you going blind, which I think, you know, what the, how you going blind out of that? You didn't go blind? Or a blind communicating, which is somehow. Yeah, yeah, he reached out to him. Yeah, he reached out to him. Now, I mean, we still like going through our, we still going through our emotions, man. Please, take your shit. Yeah, yeah, he's still going through our emotions. I ain't really, you know what I'm saying? Boot don't really talk to me like that. Like here, here, here, here, me, yo, say something, there, and I was going to him, he was saying that. So that's what we get with it right now. You feel me like it, I feel like it's something that can all be like, hell no, I sat out, the court shit, you know what I'm saying? But like I said, I mean, he's going to be into us. But that's why I think he's going to get in the books. That's what happened. I mean, I have some money for you. You know, I, but you I look at it though, that ain't never mind. You see, you get a plan. And they can see you get a plan, but I hold up now, nigga. Everybody get the fucking plan. Man, one thing about one thing about that man, he know, he know why I came, he know why I came from him. He already know how to work that I put in. But I ain't that like I said, like I'll tell people all the time. You know, you know what I'm saying? You seem like a disagreement, yeah, you have an opposite side of the business arrangement. Yeah. Shit, it can't be that he went on black, he went on black and literally said, oh, he tried to offer me $2 million. That's a lot of money on the edge of that. That's what I'm saying. It's like, you saw him saying so it's like, it's not what people think, oh, it's not what people think, oh, pay, boost, pay, boost, you know what I'm saying? I see them commenting shit like that. It's not that. It's just about like how much, you know what I'm saying? Do you, you know what I'm saying? Do you feel like, you know, that's the dilemma. Like how much you feel me? Cause I always feel like, you know, I always invested in myself. You feel me and at the end of the day, you know what I'm saying? I don't mind sharing nothing with nobody. I'm, I'm going to share, like it's never a time where I, you know, clicked it. That man from like, not making no money. It's my sense of where you're saying, you know, fair amount. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's about, it's about other stuff too, you know what I'm saying? That I can't necessarily. But I think people look at, anytime they see this piece, like like we could use the example of Megan Stallion and like 15 on one entertainment, that look like it's going nasty. Yeah. And in that situation, it's just like, yo, I'm gonna be petty. So sometimes you can't put out music because I won't put it, I won't sign off on it. We've never heard about that type of stuff when it comes to use. Because, I mean, I mean, what thing? It can't happen, you know what I'm saying? But at the end of the day, really, we just, you know, it's really about, it's really a situation where he and me his brother for real. I'm just in the middle, you know what I'm saying? Oh, good. He and me his brother and, you know what I'm saying? Whatever they got going with Empire, I'm just in the middle of some shit they got going and that's really, I like to really say about it for real. It's got to guys in the cut everybody's check. Guys in the middle. Guys is the title. That's a relationship with Empire. They treat it good. Yeah, I focus Empire. It might be real sometimes. I know you see this when, until that, until that, that it says, "Executing Contract" might be turbulent. I know. No, I ain't no man. 'Cause I know other people want you though. Yeah, like I ain't never had no problem with, you know what I'm saying? I ain't never had no problem with Empire. You know, we have, you know what I'm saying? This is a grimacing shit sometimes. But I feel like overall, you know what I'm saying? They treated me good. I had an amazing career over there, you know what I'm saying? I definitely, like, you know what I'm saying? I always recommend them. Like they do the shit you feel. But like about choose to go, like, choose a different path. It's just like part of my story, you know what I'm saying? And going somewhere. Sometimes you gotta try different shit, you know what I'm saying? Just because like we had a great relationship, don't mean I gotta beat up forever. So it's like, yeah, I fuck with them. I ain't got shit, you know what I'm saying? Did you, with the last project you put out, did you feel like they could have done more? Do you feel like that's about exactly what you expected? Like I don't know how, what your, you know, feedback on that project was. I'm saying, I feel like they could have done more. It's just going to be like, every artist, thank they, every artist. But it's like, I'm wondering what do you think about? Because I'm not going to lie. Like I feel like it was set up to do a little bit better. It was set up to do a little bit better. Obviously I think you've done some, you know, poly corrections on your side to say, you know what? My people want this type of stuff, so I'm going to give them that. But also, I mean, it had the makings of what the industry would like to present to do good. Okay, let's get these things in the pot and it's going to do whatever. What was your takeaway from that? From that, I feel like, you know what I'm saying? I always feel like this, man. The closer, you know, it's really, you know, it's a good thing to kind of come to it like almost in your deal. But like it's also all the most a bad thing. I've always heard that. Because it's kind of like now, don't want to invest in somebody who might leave. Now we spend less money on your, you know what I'm saying? Now we spend less money on your role like because we want to eventually get to start a profit and sooner. Like if it ain't a guarantee, you know what I'm saying? You're going to be with us the next five years. Why would we spend, you know what I'm saying? Two million dollars on your, you know what I'm saying? I'm going to go at least. That's just, you know what I'm saying? So that's kind of like what I'm saying? Which is like I said, it's nothing but business. It's nothing but business. You know, I can't complain if I, you know what I'm saying? If I do resign over there, you know what I'm saying? I'm pretty sure you know, it's going to be the same thing. We're going to go, you know, but eventually, you know, people want to start, you know, kind of like cutting their losses toward the end. You've given me so that's just how shit shit goes. So I don't never, like I ain't going to lie. I'd never really been a high first week selling artists because I ain't got enough like reach in that first week. I always been like a build, like a build up like, just like just keep screaming like, like everything you just don't go away time shit. Yeah, don't go away. And then every time you look up, you turn on the radio just here. I'm just, I'm like, the type of thing to just come out the hit with a hit out of nowhere side shit. You only know where it came from. Like, oh, when they got popular, it's just, it's just, it's just death. You feel me? I don't really be expecting me because you know, my shit ain't just, soons, I post, it just blow up, but my shit just keep growing organically, you know what I'm saying? So I don't never really just be expecting us, you know, still like, honey, kind of cave. I don't shit like that to be honest. You know, I think that's why, you know, black watch is good for you because like, if you look at the first week of many artists, you can be like, oh, you're going to get a black foot five or five years of ever. Yeah. You still going rack up and plaques in the heat. Yeah. Yeah. That's what it is. Yep. Um, it is a change in where, in how people consume the music has that effect on how you've made music. Like right now, like, I see Niggas is making tiktoks, hoes, bro. Like, yo, let's just feel the tiktok, which sometimes might be sacrificing your artistry because it's like, yo, yeah, trying to make that tiktok. Yeah. We want some of that people to move to. We want something that's catching for like 15 to 30 seconds. We want to say something that's jumping off the page. How does that fuck with you? Um, shit. I don't know if we really get it to the tiktok shit. I know I'm not a niggas, but it'd be on tiktok. They try to do that. I understand they work for some people, but everything on work for everybody. Like, you, you get to, if I start trying to do it, I'm a little corny because they know that's not me. You feel it? So it's like, I ain't trying to do that. Now, the farthest away I could song music, I feel like people be like, y'all want people to make classic albums, but I don't give us enough time to because y'all like, oh, we don't drop an album in a year, but we working on trying to work on some magical shit in the studio with all the brang and all the different instruments and, you know, just trying to choose the right songs and living with the shit for a minute to make sure they're the right songs. We out the scene, we fell off. You feel it, but it's like, so that kind of like make artists like give y'all shit faster. That's how you end up becoming like, not the best album because it's like, he's just if you're gonna give you shit because I got to drop because if I don't, got damn, you know what I'm saying? People gonna think I'm telling them that. So that's kind of like with me. It's like, I'm already out the scene. So it's like, even when I'm on the scene, I'm off the scene because my shit ain't just going viral every minute. So it's just like shit. I don't really have that problem. So I could, I think you're in a great space. That one. I'm saying, I don't really, to be honest, we're only really one of like, yo, beating the rat race, like put like this, right? I don't really want to be somebody that everybody just look at their numbers out. They like, I'll use the baby as an example. I love the baby. You know, let's agree. Got the baby because of his success before. Yo, I'm gonna be honest with you. He's rapping better than he's ever absent career. Bro, like you could say he's has new dedications back in the booth. He's fully sound over everything. Yeah. You're the numbers down dog. What's good? Yeah. They're not even talking about the music. They're not even saying, damn, you're going as hard as you ever when you're giving us the mo--mose shit. Yo, what's up with these numbers, bro? Yeah. So it's like two minute eyes, but I read it just be that low key. Just under, you know what I'm saying? It's a low key like, fuck that shit. Numbers will always come at a point. Like, again, to use one me and Rob Wave as another example, Rob Wave was that person, right? Like people looked up and was like, oh, you're doing 120 first week. Yeah. That wasn't like how he was coming to that first. But it was never about that. Nobody was judging him on. Yo, it was this, you know, I feel like that puts you in a weird state. It's a spot when people are just going to lie to him. Yeah. He's doing it for real. You got it. And I really, it really just be people like, people be fucking they suck. Cause if they seem like, if this is looking like you care about that shit, then that's when people start fucking with you about it. If it's seen like you don't care, like, bruh ain't looking like he's stressed about him having a, you know what I'm saying? He ain't on this bitch complaining. Fuck all y'all, you know what I'm saying? Cause if people say like, you pray as they can pick a deal about shit, even more. You feel more, I feel like you trying to chase it. It's just like, I feel like some artists, they just be like shit, trying to, oh, this next hit, this my next hit. Oh, I got this bump, I got this bump. It's just like, then when you don't have that hit, you feel it, man, I'm like, ah, cause you know that. So it's like, I don't even, if it's coming, coming here, you just become hit other than that, just more music to my catalog. I'm really trying to make more hits for my catalog than hits for what I would say, the, the general, the general republic, you know what I'm saying? Cause if you had a hit, you know, you can have, but I just see people have massive hits. It's still okay. Put 500 people in the view. You feel I can be the general hit. It's just like a football and not just seeing people with, or not seeing people that are viral every day. If you can't sell, you know what I'm saying? To me, if you don't got a cult, you shouldn't be going on the road. I always use the example. I think people know who I'll be talking about now. Twenty, I think might be 2019. Somebody would be 20 million followers. Yeah. There's not that many people that had 20 million followers. Yeah. 20 million Instagram followers. Ghosts in New York, they're making music. And they couldn't sell out, um, and so be it's, they didn't have 300 people there. Yeah. And that's the indictment on something about the following. Yeah. I saw that New York, I saw that New York shit before, you know, I was just using that as a, I saw it. I was selling like New Jersey and shit in 2018. You feel me? Before the general public even knew, knew of me. You feel me? That was way back. That was like a miss it, miss it days and shit like that. You feel me? So it's kind of like be like the different. You feel me? That shit hold on just longer. It just lasts longer. You feel me? Not saying that, you know, that person won't eventually have, you know, saying, uh, uh, uh, it stops. They ain't going to allow you. Huh? They want to some other shit. That's what the shit. I'm telling you that 20 million followers, if you're not selling the music, what's the one? That's how they started social media people into music. And people thought it transferred. Yeah. It really got 20 million followers. Well, you have 20 million ears. So it's a music, you know, you don't. Yeah. I feel like everyone. One point five and I feel like everyone point five and a month. This is to my music. Yeah, they're only there for one thing. Music. You're not selling others. You're not doing goofy skits like nothing wrong with the skits. But you're not doing other things. That's going to be like, oh, okay. This is why we like them. Yeah. So it is what it is. Yeah, it is what it is. I really like that though. I'm fucking. What else outside of music, um, has been part of what you've been passionate about? Uh, what I've been passionate about, uh, real estate. Like I said, I've told you about the real estate earlier, like real estate. Just a good ass investment. I'm getting into that, uh, more and more. Really? All this year. All this year. Like my property is by the rent. All that building the motherfuckers up building the motherfuckers up is selling them. Really? Found me some good contract. How do you get in there? Uh, building this property. Found the good ass, uh, contracted. That's good. They're doing like modern houses and shit like that. And me and him just got real cool. And so I got some other good like contractors that do all the labor and shit like that. Very good price. Damn. And shit. I'm a silly motherfuckers. So I was just like, fuck it. Make it. Put by six, seven hundred thousand in. Got them and go flip it. One point three, one point four. A pop. My will just keep doing that. I just want to build an investment for you. Like I just really just want to put some money up, put it in an account and just go flip house and just keep adding to that account on the interest of money. Just see just literally I'll just keep growing and keep growing that investment for you. And then, um, that's get to one building like three four houses at a time. Four hundred thousand. The pop type shit. You feel it? Just on the side. Because I want to be able to invest more in my music, like invest more in my music. Because I ain't got a lot like marketing is a big big D. You feel marketing is big big thing because a lot of people, but you guys look at everybody know who I am. It's just that you probably just ain't no my shit drop. You feel you probably literally just ain't no my shit drop. Yeah. Because of marketing. You feel me? That's why people would like, you know, big marketing marketing is just important. It's fuck you feel me? Like it got to reach. You know, that's why people you know, paper blogs and people they got to like reach people. Because everybody don't follow me. You probably got people that follow you. They don't follow me. Probably fuck with me. They probably just my shit pop. I ain't popping up on a feed. I'm some shit. And you have listeners in your music that might be like, yeah, listen to his music, but I don't follow him on social media. Yeah. You got to be doing that really that really is tick tock. People that don't even be on social media for sure. Like they don't like 200 followers. They don't be on that bitch. Just, you know what I'm saying? You got to come across. They get notified by the script and platform or some shit or they probably just be randomly. They probably be a week later. They probably be randomly just. Oh, let me check out. Let me see if you have blue drop something going your pay. Oh, he dropped something. Go listen to it then. Like you just sold me in a different type of. Do you think music is harder now in a sense of just more saturation as opposed to the past? Or is it easier now because it's easier to make money different ways? That's been a question I've been thinking about where it's like some people are saying it's saturated. We're at the point where everybody's a rapper. But also some people like, no, this is the best time because there's more access. You can get poppies via TikTok. You can get poppies via. I feel like the people that's on, let's try and become it will say that. But the people who in it going to say is saturated. You feel me? Just because it used to be like to like people who really had good music was, you know what I'm saying? The ones who was popping now is like everybody's popping. So it's going to feel like it's going to be like, is there any fans left? You feel everybody's somebody. You feel me? Is there any fans like everybody like somebody? Because they making the scene like it's so easy. And they're just like, shit, I could be that. Back then it used to be like, you know what I'm saying? You really had to be special to being a game. But now, even the normal person going to feel like they could be in the game because everybody else blowing up so easily. And it do saturate it. It saturates the music a lot. Yeah, I've increasingly been thinking, if I'm an artist, you could chase that mainstream audience all you want. But shit, I rather have those loyal people who I know, you know, I know 50,000 people going by my song. Listen to my music all the time. Come to these concerts because chasing that mainstream crowd, I just watch like the trend of shit just changed so much. Like a year and a half ago, it's like you got to make a song. Like at least in the mainstream hip hop world, it's like everything that seems aggressive, cool, cool. Now it's like Jersey Club. It's like, how do you, if you're chasing all of that, it's kind of be lost. Like if you were, I don't know, name it, but it's like, you fuck is the way to go. You just lost in the stuff. You definitely got to adapt. I feel like everything you just do with moderation. Like you know what I'm saying? Like you do with moderation. Like not saying that you can't try to go make that, you know, mainstream hip, you know what I'm saying? But if you're forcing it to be a mainstream hip, then like me, I'm going to be trying to make mainstream music. It's just that like I like some of the, you know what I'm saying? That shit out here and I know I could do it and I could do it well. So I just try to make that music because I probably just like the sound. But if I'm like, oh, I don't need like this sound, but just what everybody else is doing, I'm going to make that. That's when like you asked your element. But if you just like, oh, you know, I like this, I like this sound, you know what I'm saying? You know, I'm an experiment with it. If I like it, I'm going to put it out there and that's kind of different than like just following the trend and shit like that. I really came follow the trend for real because I don't really be on the end of the enough to keep up with the muffler. If I had somebody like to, they'd be like, I was posting on TikTok, you know what I'm saying? I mean, I'm like, I'm posting, but I ain't something to just put look at every little thing on fucking TikTok. And try to recreate the shit like, hey, when you start getting like that, I'm, I ain't, well, I'm fucking logging out too much. Hey, what do you think my music changing? Like, I mean, gangster rap is kind of things that are interesting point. Yeah. We're watching some of the people who we consider real, they're all in court, all being in a criminal justice submission like that. But like, music is also trying to find it. It's always a wave. That music is trying to find. In some places, it's the youth kind of like, oh, it's our chance, whatever the case is. It's in a, isn't a real weird space. Even at the top, like, I feel like, like, I just seen a bunch of articles, they were like, you are cool. You know, Drake, but like, who's the guy who's going to take over for sure? Like, who's the next genuine? Like, people, they're lacking the definitiveness of music that you used to be able to clearly say that back in the day when it was only a few more fuckers. How the fuck are you going to find out who the next, if it's a million more fuckers, how you going to know who the next is too many people to use to have like, you had a pool or this many people. I, who the next one, you know what I'm saying is one of five of the motherfuckers is thousands. You've hit me. Who the fuck we don't know you know you got to be a dead shit like the lottery. You don't know who the fuck gone. That's why I don't be seeing what people be mad at people when they be, you know what I'm saying? Somebody to blow up and then they be mad. Oh no, you shit don't mean when I was coming up like all you ain't reach back out. Huh? Say when you were coming up, you had somebody up in the kind of dub you. You hold against them. No, because I be just, you know, I'm a business person. So I just look at it like, he's business. If I like, let's just say, if I, you know what I'm saying? Like if somebody hit me up, if I get, you know, big and then it's this person coming like, oh, you know, let's do a song. I'm just looking at it like, it's not that you're trying to be my friend. It's just like, you want to make money. And I want to make money with you too, because I know the song going, you know what I'm saying? Don't do it. Like, no, no, but like me, let my personal feelings get into it. Now, if I feel like you at a point where you can't help, you can't help me no more. I probably look at it like that. If I feel like the public, like people don't even fuck with you no more. Like what the fuck I'm feeling like, you know what I'm saying? If I did reach out to you and you ain't respawned, you know what I'm saying? No point. Yeah, yeah, you feel me. But. When's the last time you've, I feel like from time to time, people even though like you're lit right now, you're popular. Which artists have you been around that you're like, you all even feel popping compared to this part? Like in a sense of, like I hear people talking about like Rihanna, like Rihanna is the sucks to energy out of her. Like you just feel like a normal person. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm sure wherever you go, like, it's like, oh, she's blue, like it's whatever, whatever. But you ever been around, whatever, or you go link with somebody and be like, damn, this is another fucking level right here. Yeah, yeah. But I swear to God, and I ain't any saying this just to cap myself down or just to be like, you know what I mean? You know, every, every blue, I swear to God. Like every time I'm somewhere, I don't know what it is about people like, people like go crazy, like I ain't gonna say they just go crazy, but like, more fuck is like, be like, treat me like I'm big in the air. For some time that I walk in the place, like, and I feel like I'm big in the air. I think people just respect me differently to what like people always notice me when I'm in the middle of the world. But who in that bitch, people always like, you feel me like, give me my respect, my flowers when I'm in the middle, you know what I'm saying? Like, well, it's like, it can be like a label party, well, it's like a whole lot of celebrities. Like when I walk in that bitch, like, people, you see all the cameras coming out of air, like, blue, blue, blue, blue, you know what I'm saying? It's just, oh no, I feel like I get that, give out that quality to like, people respect. It's different from like, you know, people just respect you, you feel me. And they probably go to the back to the I really didn't even been in no like, clubs with no like, just, I mean, I've been in a couple of spots with Drake and shit, but it's been like low-key shit. Well, like, they ain't really just own nobody because it's like everybody in there. It's like, you know, it's like, probably like, daddy party or some shit like that. It's like a lot of celebrities in the middle. Like a nigga like, did he know? I'm gonna give an example of what you want. Even I don't know this counts because that's like a son. So I'm, I got invited to a UFC match and Donald Trump came there. Yeah. And yo, I seen Niggas who was lit, turned into photographers. Like, I feel like, was you a lit nigga? Like, play this. If me, you walk out like go outside, right? And then somebody's like, yo, oh shit, act. Yo, and they give you the phone like, yo, could you take a picture of me, I'm like, yo, this nigga's twig. You buy something like this thing is wild. And like, yo, what the fuck? Yo, I seen lit niggas just turned into, let me get the, I'm like, oh shit. I'm like, I always somebody out of all fans of you. Of course. Of course. And then I wouldn't be out there. Come out at the motherfucking, uh, uh, Grammys and shit like that. Yeah. Everybody turns to a fan. You been, I seen Lizzie while I was when he was like, my gosh, she was like, that's what I'm talking about, right? Yeah. I feel like, yeah, I feel like, hey, yeah, when they come, like when I went to the Grammys, of course, like a shit, even though he knows it. Well, that's when you feel like the fuck you saw the smoke like, oh, shit. Like I was shit. I was the rock bad buddy. Got there. You know what I said? No, I like the rock that nigga though, ain't it? Yeah. Yeah. That's all like, I saw like really air by the like Taylor. You know, Taylor Swift, you know what I'm saying? I feel like that buddy, the biggest in the music right now. You got to learn some Spanish. You got to get on some of that nigga. You're on the Spanish song for that nigga. Man, so. Yeah. Yeah. That nigga. That nigga. That nigga big. That nigga big. Like that's what I feel like that culture though. He got that culture. Like if you bring a whole culture with you, that just, you know what I'm saying? Like that's one thing I feel like I'm not saying I'm missing. But I just feel like it ain't big enough. Like my culture like Alabama, like we're a small state. Like it's different from having like a whole country like them Afro beats all the baby biggest fuck they engage with be biggest. Yeah, because they got a whole country with them. They represent Nigeria. They got represent just put me on game. I had, you know, this is how we being an American thinking we just the biggest place ever other than China. You know, we got like about 400 million people in the USA, right? I just found out recently that Nigeria got like 250 million people. I'm like, no wonder because I'm like, yo, you know, why does the burner boy doing all type of like arenas over here? He coming over here like, yo, hey, please fuck with me. I said, yo, I got a whole country that fuck with me and they're like half your size already. Yeah, what's popping? What's good? Yeah. And it's a lot of them up. You gotta look at it. Okay. This the reason why they could they could like sell out shit like that because you gotta look at it. They come over here and it's like, if you from Nigeria and in Nigeria artists come over here, you feel me? You gonna go to the show because they represent your culture. You feel me? That's true. It's like, so you got every it could be 20,000 Nigerians in LA. Every one of them Nigerians going to be at that show. You feel me? It could be shit. I mean, people from goddamn, you know what I'm saying? Like America, they just feel like shit. You from like we don't feel like the city type shit like, oh, yeah, the city come out. Yeah, the city come out type shit. He didn't like the whole, you know what I'm saying? They come from all over because like they're here. That's just like if we was American, I'm pretty sure like when American do a goddamn somebody who's American somewhere else when American come down to a show. They favorite American artists little baby or whoever come over there. All the Americans going to be in the building. That's the same thing. That it is of him. And they just bringing a whole culture with them. That's why they get just so much engagement. It's a whole culture like America. You know, we kind of got like so much shit going on that is like it's so much stuff to rally behind it. It's like spread so spread out. Like other countries. They ain't got that much. It probably be like you can probably name 20 big artists from other countries. How many can you name from America? Man. So like his way more than rally by him. His whiz kid burner boy. David old. And then I get a little thing. You know, so some a few others but shit. God damn man. All right, man. Yo. Uh, wait. What have I have an eye touched on? Even before. Huh? And people don't have. Man. Oh, man. Oh, man. Now Google that real quick. Can we be for no worry? I know you be tweening sometimes. I gotta make sure I get all the beast night. Like we talked about life shit. Hold on. I can't make you go to the breakfast club with some shit. Talk about the saying and shit. We told my whole lawn. Now I don't be allowed. Now you're over to be beefing but but number. But from time to time between some stuff that I know you're not tweeted or whatever, but people have a reaction to it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oh, you brought a tank on the album. Yeah. How you think about think? How you know I think you know, think you know, think at Empire. Take one of the really amazing artists out of Chicago. Yeah. Always been super underrated. I'm like, like. Just like we look at you like just fucking talented. Yeah. We I think we all look at you like more talented than you are lit. Yeah. You're lit. Yeah. No. But we look at you as more talented. Mm-hmm. She's definitely the same. Yeah. She might not be a litters you but all that. I know I'm just only sent you about the album. Customy go nights man. Yeah. Give me a story about customy go nights. That's how I. That's a way. Great title. Like your fans that want to eat up your music. That's it. It's a bit of title. It's a bit of titles. I know that's nice. I know that's who. Yeah. That's just I mean, it's just you know, it is that it is. It's a pretty music. I mean, a cut your book. Like, like. You know what your fans want. Mm-hmm. But how do you get into that mood to like created? She is just listening to listening to like all the albums that I that I've done. Like I like with love scores too. I listen to love scores. I want to put them in the same type of feeling. I want to put this in the same type of mood. It's kind of how I do it because you want to like each series. You want to kind of put them in the mind of like it'd be like a extension to the last one. Like that's why I put out like the voicemails. You know the different shit like that. And voicemails real brother. No. I always be listening to albums. I'm like, I'd be really think the voicemails. If I put the real voicemails on them, my fuck about it. She gonna go and I'll sue you. That's what the fuck is going to sue you. No, because I know it ain't from the, you know, other girls about put the voicemails from my girl on that motherfucker. Then she going out there. Hey, I'm only seeing good things about you recently. That's great. Yeah. Yeah, Flown magazine says young blue independently approaching a billion streams. You already passed that. Yeah. Or hip hop. This guy be some old shit or some people that don't know. Says blue addresses. Criticism is music sounds the same. Your music don't sound the same. Yeah, I'm using the same voice. Of course, the constant. Listen, I know artists. I feel like when I listen to you singing, you only use the same patterns. The same. Yeah. Your voice. The same dog. Yeah. But I don't think that's valid. I don't think that's valid at all. There's certain rappers would be like, oh, yeah, you're giving the same flow. It feels like the last song. Yeah, I got a lot like a little baby money. But like he once he hit whoa, he made us on five times. It's cool though. Shit. What is called the toxic music though? Why does music about you know, you need really. Yeah, but like the word toxic has been like taken into it's been going too far now dog like is it toxic that people are having the real problems or is it you know what toxic supposed to be mean. You're you're like a little bit manipulative. Yeah, and that's toxic but like having issues ain't toxic. I mean, some of the songs are not real toxic. But I feel like shit. That's a that shit with people won't most of the money. He's more fun. You have toxic behavior. People say I have toxic behavior. I don't really have toxic behavior. I don't really like. If I really just read about how I'm problematic my life was my music will be born. Like I guess like it's gas like toxic. Like what have an issue it'd be like oh blah blah. By the end of the issue is your fault. I mean, I can't. Now if you ask my girl, she probably say shit. I say you know, it's gonna always feel like he. like he unproblematic. - Yeah I'm gonna be like, "I'm problematic." (laughs) - No, I'm for real, like. - Yeah. - I'm gonna be honest, I only learned the word gaslighting. - Yeah. - Off of, I don't even know what that word came from. - Yeah. - Women like, "Oh, you, you used like gaslighting." Like, what does that mean? You like making me feel like I'm crazy. - I mean, I mean, kinda look crazy. - But whether it's being toxic, whether it's, you gotta make the listener feel something. Like if they don't just feel, nothing like, if they don't feel nothing, they ain't this bad. Whether it's toxic, whether it's goddamn whatever. As long as you're making them feel something, that's a good, that's a good. - Relationship advice with blue. Here we go. Your girl obscenes you, okay? You went out with the boys last night, she hit your phone. Your phone was dead, allegedly. She feel used on some bullshit. She's now in your ear, she's going off the same third, whatever, how do you handle it? Do you listen, do you immediately snap back with some answers? How are you handling this situation? - Shit. I probably should go a little go off. Like, I probably should go a little go off. Like, if I, if I know, if I know that she right, then I'm probably just gonna go down, you know what I'm saying? And I say shit and just let her, sometimes girls just want to get it out. If you don't let them get it out of you, you over, you over, God damn. - I'm gonna tell you what that's toxic. Women also feel. - No, I'm saying if I do, if she's right, and I did do something wrong, even if she right, I'm gonna tell you what, women also think, yo, listen, you're not a woman arguing with you, and you're like yo, I'm just not gonna say nothing. And because you're not saying it, she's like, oh, you don't care, you don't, you're a fuck about what I think. It's like, you can't win women, women, pray, okay? So now she's arguing with you, you're like, you're trying to let her get it out, but she's like, yeah, you just don't give a fuck, you a piece of shit, toxic shit. She thinks you're being toxic. In reality, I'm like, I'm like you argue yourself out. Like, I just do that to her mama's. You know your mama, like, she getting all you for whatever reason, you know your mama go for two days, and after that she go, make her a good man. You let her rock for two days, you won't need to say nothing to her. Your girl wanna argue with you. She, but over and over again. - But over and over again, different to those. Everybody good different to those. So you gotta let her like see, my no like if I get mad then I'm telling the truth. So if I'm gonna get angry, you feel it, but I'm telling the truth cause, - Like what's her but she was hurt. - Her feelings truth or what's her. - And I ain't saying I'm telling the truth. I'm saying like if she say, if like if I was really out with my boys, then and you telling me that I wasn't like, - I was, I was your voice. - I'm heated, I'm heated, but if I wasn't out with my boys for real then I'm probably just gonna, you know what I'm saying, just take it. Cause it's like, how can you get, now that's time to get mad at somebody arguing with them, I was like, shit that you know. (laughing) - Yeah, you know you did. If you don't say shit. - Yeah, that's the time. - Yeah. - You gotta take the same position every time. That's the thing. - That's time, that's time for the. - You only turn up a little extra where you know you innocent. Boy, you still gotta put the fake turn up where you guilty to. Like, I've ever, I've ever showed up to court and be like, yo, now I gotta just got me. I was doing that 95. No, you have like your, like yo, like yo, I look down on the thingy and projection on my, oh my, win screen, yo, it says it was like 65. But we clocked you doing one template, what are you talking about? - I can't, I can't do something. - I will give you a deal, say you do a 70. Oh, you gotta pay his accord fee plus $45. I, you're right, I'm guilty. - Yeah. - Come on out. - Yeah. - Slowest time. - I ain't going out sometimes when the girl, when the girl, I really love you, they wanna hear excuse. They make them feel, they make them feel better than you not saying nothing. Now that is true, like they wanna hear something that like sometimes a girl can know you lie, but if you make the lie sound good, they's like it's better than it's better. By the way, you gonna be fucked up. (laughing) - By the way, speaking of which, I remember watching the Amaz still video. You should have played, you should have played a dude who kicks open the door. You should have played the dude who was literally at the altar. - Why? - I don't know, it gave like, I wanna see you hurt. I don't wanna see you. - But they ain't gonna be like, - I won't be honest with you. - I won't be honest with you. That's why like, you know your mind's still the opposite to that song is like Marvin's room, right? - Per. - I'm gonna tell you why. There's always a dude who's basically on some, all right, there's a dude being hurt. And nobody gives his side. The dude over here, like everybody's taking other niggas bitches. Who's the nigga getting their bitch took? That's a guy we need a voice. I don't think that ever happened to me. But but still, like, I wanna feel like that guy one time. Like, you know what, if you listen to it, don't it is kinda telling you what's there. 'Cause basically somebody took your girl and you basically said that you amaz still. Don't go build no life without you 'cause you amaz still. So somebody took your girl from you. So you coming in to, if I were to play the dude, it would have been like, she can't be my, it's still because she's still mine. Hey, I'ma be honest with you. - But what does she just do? You fucking up too much. She just like, - Yo, the craziest toxic should I have heard said to a chick? I said, listen, even if you in a relationship and I have a relationship, what we do ain't even seen. That's crazy, ain't it? All right, crazy. Everybody got one of those. It's like one of those is like, it's like, it's like, yo, what we doing? Don't count. Don't count. - I ain't got that. - I ain't got that. I ain't got that. - Listen, obviously not your person, but I'm wondering like, what were you thinking about this, right? Because again, when the nigga hears that song, - I feel like I dropped the good enough album and my girl don't get mad. Like with Tantra, like my girl, they really get mad. Like she ain't really like, she ain't really like, wasn't hitting me up like, goddamn, blah, blah, blah, you. You don't even got damn what you're doing, dude. - I was hit that all the time. - Hey, no, that's a great point. - Yeah. - That's the style. - She was heated, but. - Okay, so it's great. - She was in, like. - Listen, let me tell you this. And I wonder like you as an artist, how you feel about this. - That made his believeable, 'cause it's all bullshit, but yeah. - Well, with his thing, people thrive off this function. Like again, we don't wanna hear you talk about how great your girl is and how like, yeah, perfect. We wanna hear about the wrong shit you do. That's why I've always, like even shit even driggled as much as you say, yo, I kinda went back to, 'cause he stopped for a while. He was like, yo, I started a mitten shit that I wouldn't say. Like you're finding out in the album type shit. People like that. Like shit even a book, you like, anytime you want to buy a job album, I'm like shit, he posing with this girl too much, man. What the fuck? - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - You know what I mean? Because we really want them stories, and it's not that we want you to be heard, or like, 'cause like that comes with its own issues. We just want to know that yo, we're having that shared experience. And that what you're saying is true. And it's true to you. What you're living because we're gonna go through it too. Right? So like, you and your girl arguing, it's like, yeah, like life ain't perfect. You probably fucked up a little bit. And if you could, how much do you try to, or how do you make the decision of, can you go through some shit, but, you know how you grow up always is like, not a, don't bring that to music. - She'll be like, we talking about it. She'll be like, we talking about nothing though. Like I, but I'm our biggest song, be the ones where like, I'm talking about everything, but I've been just trying to get through her head, that bro, like, I'm a music writer. Everything I say ain't got to be some shit that. - Now what you got for the music, bro? I'm telling you, don't. - But everything, I be speaking on other people's situations a lot of times, you feel it? But like, it don't all be my situation. I be speaking on other people's situation. Like, I see, you know what we are always seeing people going through shit, we see shit on it. We know how I feel. We've been in relationships before. Like, so I'm speaking on just the general reconception of relationships, I'm just making it sound good. That's how I know if she get mad and I, I should be like, oh yeah, this is a good one. Like, it's making you feel it. It's making you feel it. Cause it feels like, there's nothing in it where the making you feel nothing, you know what I'm saying? And if you feel like that, the other people are gonna feel like that. You feel it? - It's just part of the human experience, like for example, heartbreak is like, it's a helpless experience. Like you can't, no matter how much someone tell you, like, no, fuck that, take it or whatever the case is. You're a woman, you're like, oh fuck that thing, well, it's like, there's something in your gut. Like, something down here start moving different and you're feeling so weird shit. And that music, when it's authentic, you're like, yo, yo, he went through some shit. Yeah, yeah, you gotta put that shit in the music. You gotta put that shit in the music. I would sell the other day, I was like, shit up. I don't put this shit in the music man, this shit gonna be boring, they ain't not going to hit this shit. Like, they ain't not going to just rap by, you know what I'm saying? Me and you just so perfect, we good to get together. I rap by that real life, bro, that's gonna be boring. Cause I real life is really boring. Like, I ain't gonna say this boring. Like, I ain't gonna say my good boring. - Yeah, I probably went through all those difficulties. - Yeah, like we, growing up, you know what I'm saying? Like, we, we, we, we straight. You feel me? What I'm gonna say if you know, you got to rap about like the, the, the, the, the, the, not so good. Cause most people not so good. Like everybody not in just a blissfully happy relationship, you know what I'm saying? Majority of the people not, you feel me? You can't just say, I love my girl. I love my girl. You feel me? - My favorite songs are the, this is in shit. - Yeah, man. I'd be like, you're listening. It ain't you. They label it as toxic music, though. - But that's what you get that shit. They label it as toxic music, but it's really like, that's what people, so what, if you label that toxic, what is, you know, yeah, everybody be like, they, they, they missed the, you know, the, the, old school songs where they be like, you know, they was talking good about the girl, but I got some of them. I got some of them too. - That's what I'm saying. - What do those songs go up more for you? Like, you know, in the analytics. The ones that you're like, your baby, you're the best. Like, yo, I'm just so glad I found you versus the, man, listen, this is how it ended or a man she did me wrong. She did me wrong. Music is always in to me. - Yeah, it's like a lot of the songs I write, air song I write about like, somebody in the past tense, it always like hit. Like miss it was a song about, miss it, basically, the same concept is your man's, I know you miss it. You know, it's basically it's telling the girls, you, she knows she misses. It's like a different concept of your man's. - I love music that shit on the cheeks that that that I appreciate it. Like, I appreciate it was a big like a big hit in my catalog. It's a title already tells you, I know you miss it. I was under appreciated. - Yeah. Like anything like that. Yeah. - You feel me? That's why the, yo, the names of songs, like, like a song that's going very low. This, uh, this is how I'm called under my spell. And it's, it's kind of under my spell and just the name of the song make a lot of fun click on like under my spell. You, I know you talking about you saying a bit under your spell. Know you talking about. - Take that body. Take that shit and start doing some voodoo with it. - Your girl told you got to see the seven bad guys. I don't think that's your girl no more. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Wait a minute. Hold on. No, no, no, no. CC, you got to explain the whole thing. Yeah, man, 'cause yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, been beefing on night. And she like, yo, I don't want to sleep, because sometimes we're like, yo, what a fuck you been? You bullshit, bullshit. Yo, I want to sleep with you tonight. You gonna sleep somewhere? Cool. Yo, we're not sleeping together. A period? That's some like, you and your 50s 60s shit. - I got a homie. His girl has her own bedroom and he has no bed. What? - I like. See, we got out, we got out, out, out. How's the-- - No, it was a dip. We still sleep together. - Yeah, if I go, so if I go to her house, I'm, you know, sleep, you know, sleep, because we ain't got nowhere. Like, she'll be mad at me and still tell me, like, we'll be mad at each other. She'll be mad at me and I'll be like, I'm just gonna sleep at the big house tonight in the evening. - Really? - And she just not gonna let me. She's still gonna make me sleep at the house. - That's how sick. (laughing) She want to sleep, she want to sleep in the same bed with you but she mad at you. - Yeah. - See, now I'm toxic is we're not seeing out of all of separate toxic-- - But that means she loves, should I show her, though? (laughing) - Yeah, that's why toxicity is always, there's a level of toxicity, but the same with toxic, I just think it's a nature of love, man. - Yeah. - I think it's a nature of love. - If you really, really love somebody, you could lay by the mat. I mean, shit. - Well, would you, would you define this love? - It's so many different things of love. I mean, love, I just feel like when you, you know what I'm saying? Carab, you know, you put people before yourself, you know what I'm saying? Love is like when you just genuinely, you know, care what happens to people, like you care about their way of being, and you just love them, like you can't, you know, live without them, you can't function without them, if you ever, that's love, you know what I mean? - Mm. - That's a deep, that's a deep, that's a deep, that's a question though, 'cause everybody got that own, like, you know what I'm saying? - I did, I love, and shit like that. 'Cause I feel like it's different, we know you could love somebody, then it's in love, you know what I'm saying? - And this is one of the last question. What's up to you? What would be a love scar? - A love scar. Anything, you know what I'm saying? - I have an idea, and let me explain it, and then you, you could correct me. I believe every time you decide to love someone, you have to make yourself an open up and be vulnerable. - Uh-huh. - And then when you tell someone, they put up some story and they were like, "Yo, I'll be acting like I care about you, but I'm like mad cold." And I'm like, "You know what I'm really giving yourself, "you have to be vulnerable, "like part of love in any relationships. "If that other person can't hurt your feelings, "you don't love them." - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Right? So love scars end up being when you make yourself vulnerable and someone doesn't live up to your expectation or someone lets you down, or someone hurts you. - Yeah. - And that's a scar you got to wear, because now before you trust the next person to let your guard down, you're gonna be thinking about that the same amount. - Yeah. - And those things, that's what I would think with love scars, because like, you know, the more relationships, I feel like I've been in or, I've deal with people who have been in many relationships. You could see their love scars in a way of, "Okay, I see why you're acting this way with me, "because the last dude you gave yourself to fully heat this, "or you took a van and you're whatever the case is." - Yeah, that's best of you, right? - Yeah, that's best of what love scars is, you know what I'm saying? I feel like a lot of the way people act is how they got done in the past, like, I probably could love the shit out of you. You don't understand, but maybe I'm not really showing it because in my past, I maybe showed it too much and it backfired, you feel me and I own, in the pain that I felt right then, I don't ever want to feel that way again. And I probably love you way more than I even loved it, that person, so I definitely don't even want to, even imagine to feel that pain, you know what I'm saying? So, you know, you kind of like putting a shield of your heart, you know what I'm saying? So you act like you know what I'm saying? You act like you don't care. You act like, you know what I'm saying? That really be what it is, really. That's love's cause. A lot of people with love's cause is hard to love them because they, you know what I'm saying? They scar, you feel me from past shit. The only people that ain't got love's cause is the people that ain't really had a lot of relationships before you, you know what I'm saying? I ain't really had no in love relationship. They love you with all their heart, just blissfully. You feel me? Like a lot of times, like my girl ain't really like had no body. She just loved before me. So she loved her heart, well, all her heart and her sleep, you know what I'm saying? She's had bar friends, but she ain't really had nobody like she just loved deeply been with eight, nine years, you know what I'm saying? But you know me, I had like, you know what I'm saying? Relationships before her, you know what I'm saying? Relationships, kids, you know what I'm saying? Shit like that. So I know how love scars feel. So I kind of like love different than her. You feel me? Now you have me, like that, that's just the same answer. If I break heart and just leave her with a big ass love scar, her next nigga, no matter how much she loved him, she gonna be kind of like, she ain't gonna be how she was with me. Even if she loved him, love him. Or even start loving more than me, she never gonna be how she is, who was with me, because how I did it, you know what I'm saying? No, that's a fact. So shit, that's a fact, man. That's a fact. Shit, good combo. Yo, okay, project out. Yeah. Okay, how's it doing? Doing good? Yeah, it's doing good. I feel like it's, it do what I always expect it's gonna do for my fan base for my coach fan base. How's your core receiving them? My core receiving the good. It's, it's, it's doing what I feel like it's gonna do for my, like me, knowing my analytics and shit, I know when a project of mine doing good for my core fan base and where, you know what I'm saying? They receiving it with. So it's doing well for that. You know me, I ain't got the whole interest posting my shit. I ain't got other, even people that I be posting, they shit when they drop, I ain't even posting my shit. So you gotta look at it out. I'm, you know, I ain't got everybody interested. I feel like just like a little politics with that, because you probably post, you probably post. It should be weird to me. Yeah, you're probably posting their shit. They probably even hit you up like yo, could you put it? You was like, yo, this is love. This is just genuine. This is your day. This is your time. I'm posting stuff. Like you probably see them, you talk to them. It's like third, your stuff come out, but they might be playing a different game to say, well, I don't want to be posting too much stuff right now. Or you know what I mean? They're like, well, I just want to center everything around me. Why you seem to be sure to love you. That's, ah, that ain't gonna. Yeah, I feel like that usually come, 'cause I'm like, so I'm really good in real life. So I don't feel like the pressure of like, you know what I'm saying? Like I feel like other people, they don't really be really good in real life for real. They just be like good, kind of like just good as a facade. You feel me, so they make you like not want to really support other people, kind of. You probably need to be jealous, you know what I mean? And also some of them, all they got is social media. So it's like for you, it was nothing for you to post on social media. Them is like everything. Yeah, everything. Yeah, it's everything. Yeah. So, you know, like you posted like your, listen, you could post a million things, right? And you're like, you know, the audience, you're posting to, they might listen, but if they don't like it, it didn't matter. Yeah, yeah. And if they didn't like it good, yeah. Those are the people they're looking like, oh, I only have attention to the social media. So I don't want to give it out. Yeah, yeah. Because, you know, I can't go out and go do these shows and all that. Man, I was so many sickers away from posting a tweet about goddamn, uh, my, uh, people not posting my ad, but it just took me so much to just, I was like, I ain't gonna post it because it was just gonna be the role. I knew it. We were gonna pick that shit up. We got there. And I'm actually new because they're gonna try to, everybody was gonna look at you. And people feel like, oh, okay, he's salty now. Yeah. That's not what you want. It's just like, you probably just, yo, hey, if I'm being this type of guy, y'all like to expect you to be that type of guy, but you know what I'm saying in the street. But you can't, yeah, you can't speak everybody to be how you is. You can't speak to everybody to be how you are. That's a bad way of looking at shit. You feel it, man. And it really don't, it really don't matter. You know, really bring nothing. For you, I believe that your music over time is gonna do what it's gonna do. Like it's been documented. We've seen it. You're not the first-beat guy anyway. Whatever your first-beat number is, is what it is. Your music, like you want to know what it was? I wish people would, I think you have that mindset though, but I think we should be able to adopt that. But I think everybody think they're the first-beat guy. There's some people who would be like, yo, listen. Now, if in two years, we're not reporting that some of these voices is gold. You know, you actually hit that, you're supposed to hit. But you're not the dude who's gonna be like, yo, $200,000 first-beat, that's not true. And that's completely fine because not everybody runs the same race. You know, I think everybody looks to run that race and not realize that yo, man, just keep your path, man. Fuck it. Yeah, I feel like it's just all about the end, the end game. Like I said, it's a thing so up and down right now, brother. It's just like, you can't really expect the game, I'm trying to, you can't really even expect it normal. If you do it, if you don't, you know what I'm saying? You don't, you know what I'm saying? Longers, you, like I said, touch your fan base and your fan base, keep growing. Like I said, longers, you know what I'm saying? You don't keep doing better and better than this is our good. Some projects go ahead, some projects ain't. That's just like, who is specular, bro, and the bro, and good as fuck. Who is specular, bro, and going there and get 60 points every game, you know what I'm saying? That's like, and people, when you put the expectation on yourself, then that's where you get fucked up in the head because you feel like, oh, I was a win. See, that's a wrong rapper's got this artist got this fucking mind staves to it, like they got, and that they never post a, when you never have a post to have a all season, you never have post to have, they feel like if they ever have a all season, it's over. Or you are all your shit just supposed to be here. Everything you put out, they're supposed to be here. It's the whole world going to say people supposed to love it. Hell no bro. You're gonna have projects that people didn't love as much. You're gonna have projects that people love. It's like, just keep going, just keep putting out shit. It's when you stop and get the word, man, you so scared to put out shit 'cause you were in my like, what is going to do in shit? That's when you get stagnant, you know what I'm saying? And I feel like that's what a lot of people, they just wait so long and they're like, oh, I'm just, I'm just gonna wait so long because I'm scared what it's gonna do. You feel it, but you're really, end up hurting yourself more than you have in yourself for real though. 'Cause the most music you got out there, the most chance, you never know these days, the most music you got out there is the most chance of somebody grabbing on TikTok, making one look, you know what I'm saying? I got old songs that's going crazy on TikTok that I ain't even know where ever be. You don't say as big as they is, nah. Shit, I ain't saying my baby probably the biggest song, on TikTok, Goddamn, just over time, that bitch been viral on TikTok for, all the agents shit from like years, a whole like this whole year, last year. And I just dropped it as a mixtape song, I'm just being real, and that bitch two time platinum going on three nights since like shit. You know, never know that, get put in my breath. God damn, well, project out now, Love Scar is two, everybody go check that out. Listen man, what could expect you to announce the tour? I'm working on a tour right now. It really did good though, but Ian go like, no, I know it's gonna go this time. You feel me, with everybody outside, you know what I'm saying? So, this gonna be my first tour, I'm excited for it, man. All right, man, let's man, people go check out the album, make sure guys wait for the announcement for the tour. FAQs

Being a 'real' rapper means being genuine, treating everyone with respect regardless of their status, and not acting like a celebrity. It's about staying true to yourself and maintaining common courtesy in an industry where many people are fake.

Copyright law allows artists to have the same name as long as they aren't promoting the same things or infringing on each other's work. Typically, the bigger artist has more influence, but legal battles can be costly and are often avoided.

Success brings lawsuits, unnecessary bills, and increased problems, often summarized as 'more money, more problems.' However, artists must take the good with the bad, as achieving dreams isn't perfect but is still fulfilling.

Social media can make artists feel disconnected from real-life fans, leading to a loss of fun. Touring helps by allowing direct interaction with fans, reminding artists of their real impact beyond online perceptions.

With an abundance of music released daily, oversaturation has reduced the perceived value of individual songs. Fans now expect artists to entertain beyond music, shifting focus to personal lives and other content.

Artists should focus on touring and connecting with real fans to balance the negativity from social media. Staying humble and grounded helps, as audiences often respect genuine effort over arrogance.
