This is a 10-round quiz show with questions from Meadeater's Four Verticals, which are hunting, fishing, conservation, and cooking. This is probably my favorite one we've gotten so far. I was sent just a couple of hours ago this morning. It is from Madeline L. My husband and I do not get many date nights. This means when hunting season comes around, we treat it as date nights, leaving the kids with my family and go sit out in the standard blind together. We take turns per season, whose turn it is to get to shoot and have a chance at an animal. Two years ago, my husband harvested his first black bear. Last year we went bear hunting and it was my turn to shoot, but we did not even see a single bear so we walked away with nothing. We are now having a tip about whose turn it is to shoot this year. He thinks it is his because it was my opportunity last year and it doesn't matter that we didn't see anything. I think it is mine because I didn't get to harvest an animal or even get to shoot. I would love to cruise thoughts and input whose turn is it. What a dick. What a dick. What a dick. Okay. It would be different if she like missed a bear and then it would be like his turn up to bat. Yeah. Ladies first. My take would be, if both of you have never shot a bear before, the husband got his first bear. Now it's your turn. You didn't get one yet. I think it should just be your turn. You get that opportunity. You get that bear. After that, I think you could just alternate. If you strike out then beyond that, that was your season. That was your chance. Now it goes back to your husband. But I think there is a little bit of a twist with the fact that they are probably not just hunting bears right there is like deer seasons coming up or whatever. So how does it play into when it comes when it comes to a different species? I think if you've had your first deer, if you've each had your first turkey, just alternate beyond that. But assuming this is everyone's first black there, let Madeline have the shot. It doesn't. I'm Madeline. Yeah. If they go deer hunting, I think they should sort of like start back at zero and they just trade off. Okay. This time you really got to decide, are we doing it per day? Are we doing it per sit? Are we doing it per animal and just have that discussion ahead of time? Some people do it per hour, too. Like, oh, this is a hour. Oh, that's insane. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. Leave it. When you first meet him, you're like, oh, it's a lab puppy with a dock tail. I mean, that's what it looks like, full grown. They're very lovable. They almost kind of act like a lab puppy when you're hanging out with them. Until they're within like scent distance of a coon, which then the other side of that dog comes out and they go and kill the coon or whatever, you know, critter you've trained it to get after padterdale, padterdale. Yeah. So it's basically like a lab puppy that kills coons. It's kind of. That's sick. Yeah. Just some quick Googling here. Part of the working group.
