Well, I wake up from a horrible nightmare that I'm hiding in this gas station restroom and these wild animals are trying to break in and eat my baby that we just had. I wake up and I roll over to shake my husband away and before I can shake him, he's like, "Ugh, uh, uh, moaning in his sleep like in fear." And he sits up and I'm like, "What's going on?" And I was like, "Man, I was just having this terrible nightmare that these animals are trying to eat our baby." And I gave me chills. I'm like, "Oh, okay. Then the event's starting." Six years into malaria creatures, we've heard a lot of stories from haunted houses. But this one, so many wild parts, as a history of murder, demonic rituals, fires, and mames, and something lurks in the basement that won't be. Sometimes we learn firsthand why God works all things together for good. Even when we go through the darkest, most hellish experiences, somehow there's light at the end of the tunnel. It all goes back to the fallen chair. And the problem with the modern day church, they had a very truncated view of the supernatural. This backdrop is just pregnant with all kinds of meaning associated with this Mount Herman event. And this guy defects from the kingdom. That's a big deal. All right, welcome back to Blurkeyj's Creatures. We're excited today. We've got a roller coaster that's ready to unpack. T-shirts coming on to tell our story. Clues of haunted house and a bunch of other blurry things that happen. But first, Tisha, thank you for coming on and being vulnerable with our audience and helping some people put together. Maybe some clues to their own story that they've never told anybody or experienced and kept it to themselves. What are your thoughts on Bigfoot? And then we'd love to unpack your story and kind of hear the whole thing beginning to end. Well, first of all, thank you all for having me. I appreciate it and I pray all Lord be to God in this and that something good will come out of this for somebody. As far as the big furry man for me, I'm from the PNW. I'm a Pacific Northwest girl. I grew up hiking in the Pacific Northwest. I got family live way up in the mountains. And it's not a question to me of if he exists. It's a question of if you see him. I personally have not seen him. My mother told me many years ago that her dad, my grandpa, who lived in California at the time was driving up through Orban to Washington and had seen a large bipedal furry creature across the highway in front of him that was way too large to be a man. And that's kind of the only personal family story that I've had passed down to me. But I don't have any doubts that there's something out there. There's just too many stories. I've seen too much blurry stuff myself, as he say. As to the nature of what it is, that's a really hard one to say, especially not having had any personal encounters. It definitely seems to have a physical aspect. I would say there's definitely potentially a spiritual aspect. I've heard a lot of stories. I've heard a lot of stories about dogman. And I like to look for patterns and things. And the one thing that stands out to me about about Bigfoot is that a lot of the stories, it seems to be somewhat reclusive and territorial and protective. Whereas if you look at like dogman stories, it appears to be more predatory, more evil. It seems to enjoy terrifying people and coming into human spaces, where it seems like the South Squatch just wants to be left alone. So not an expert in that field. I'll leave it at that, but there's definitely something out there. And you know, up in the PNW, I mean, it's the hotspot we were talking pre-roll about this. Let's see, Washington State, Oregon, and then of course, Florida, which is the outlier, there are the top places where they find, where the people have encounters. And also, Epe Canyon Nate is up in that way. So there's like, the angry Squatches have a little bit of an enclave up there, allegedly, as well. I just love the vote of confidence, Tisha. There's no question if it exists. It's just where and what, what's he doing? And I think that's great, because I think, you know, I sat next to a Blurifian, in Australia, on the plane, when I was flying, and he's like, what do you think at this point? I'm like, I was like, you know what, I sat Squatch is definitely a thing. I don't, you can't, I don't think I could go back to not thinking that. And then the rest of the stuff we talk about, obviously, like a lot of your story, it's harder to understand and unpack those things, but I do like the confidence that, I like you, I also like to say you're looking for patterns, because if it's interesting about that and you pointed out, I think is a very valid point is, you know, we have, we have the conversation with the guy up in Ohio, who's family at all, the dog, the dog man, where we'll stuff on his property. Yeah, really fascinating. These things sort of seem to hunt, it's different. Well, they're there to scare you. They're there to freak you out. Yeah. And when they scare you, that's like the, that feeds them. And I definitely agreed. Everything you know about Sasquatch, he just wants to be left alone. And they do mark their trails and they keep you out. And if you get in their zone, they're like, get out of here. Yeah. Sometimes they're curious, but other than that, they're, yeah, the dog man will show up. It seems like anywhere and just scared of the late, they lights out of people. But today we're not going to dog man, Tisha. We're going to tell you, we're going to tell your story. It was a, it's a four year journey for you from what you've told us. And I want you to start at the beginning because this is a fascinating story that kind of has a lot of the elements of things we've talked about on the show, but really not collectively. I mean, and I'm not going to spoil it. We're no spoilers here because I want you to lay it out for us. But yeah, your story starts in the Pacific Northwest. You guys are building a house. And so where do you begin? Where's the story begin for you and your husband and your family? My husband and I were fairly recently married. We just moved back to Washington State from Idaho. We had better job opportunities. I was looking to get my job back at a major company. And we'd been staying with my great-grandfather and his house and helping him out because he was a widow. And we found out we were pregnant. And this conversation comes up, well, it's time for us to buy our own house and get out on our own and kind of start out on our own and around the same time that we had this discussion. One of my colleagues who happened to be a builder. He had had a mother's day barbecue up at his place. First time we'd been there. Lower South Hills, Spokane and people from Spokane, Washington know that the South was kind of known for the historic homes. It got a lot of mansions up there. A lot of history. And there's kind of like the Lower South Hill, which is kind of lower income. And then the Upper South Hill, which is where a lot of the wealthy folks lived. And this house was just kind of on the coast right before the lower income down the street. There was a couple of well-known mansions in a beautiful park. And as we're driving up this really steep alleyway that's dirt to this house, I'm admiring how cute this little house is. There's two giant pine trees that line the front walk and two lips are in bloom. And at one point I had to go and use the bathroom and I was peaking around. And I just kind of felt like I'd step back in time even though it was needing renovated. It was like 1980s decor. I just felt drawn to this place. I thought it was cute. And I looked at how small it was. And I was looking at our income and hoping to quit and stay home. And as I stayed home out with the baby and thinking maybe we could afford something like this because of how small it is. It's not up in the rich neighborhood. So I talked to my cousin who lived there and I said, "Look, could you help us buy a house? This is going to be our first house." And long story short, he basically said, "We're looking to sell this place and let's sit down and talk numbers." It worked out. We moved in in October 15th of 2012. I was still at the late end of my pregnancy and it was just kind of an exciting part of our new life. That's how we got into the house. What happens after you guys? How long between you guys? Same with your green author and moving in. Do you start to realize that maybe there's something going on with the first inkling of the spaces? Maybe a little different than just a cute little 80s spots? Well, we had had the cousin do some renovations. So it had fresh paint and workforce. It had been updated before moved in. But the first thing that happened was really crazy. So my mom has a ministry. She did street ministry in Spokane, ministry to Velosson, broken. And it turned into a TV show on Channel 14. It was a number one show in Spokane. My husband was the director of the show. So we would have ministry meetings in our house. We were believers. This whole thing starts off with us knowing cries, having a relationship, spirit filled love the Lord. We're having this evening meeting with her co-host and she's newly engaged to this guy. And he's a really devout, quite very serious guy. He carries his Bible everywhere. And at the end of this meeting, he's like, I need to talk to you guys about something. This is going to sound kind of weird. But I've been fasting for a couple weeks and the Lord gave me a dream about this house. And I need to give you a very, very serious warning. And we're like, okay, and you never been to this place. He says, and this dream God shows me that your baby sits right here on the carpet in the living room. And you normally sit over in this part of the couch, which was true. He'd never been there. I don't know this guy. And he's saying, you have like a cellar or a basement under this house. He hadn't been there. I said, yeah, there's these external stairs that go down under the house. He said, God, show me the down in there. There's this being, this ancient being, is powerful and it is evil and it focuses on you and it focuses on your baby and it seeks to harm you and it will harm you if you do not address this. Get with your pastor, have the house blessed, you need to deal with this. And I'm like, are you saying what I think you're saying? Are you talking about like a demon? And he said yes. Wow. And I said, okay. I'm not sure what to make of it, but I got some questions. I'll cut why is it here? He said it has nothing to do with you guys. You didn't invite it in. It was here before you got here. It has to do with the land. It has to do with the history of the house. He said, God showed me visions of what happened and it was horrible. I'm talking innocent murder, mass bloodshed on this land. He said, I don't want to go into too many details and glorify it and get it riled up and give it power. But I'm telling you, the Lord wants you to know, this is your warning. You need to deal with this. And you know, that's kind of an awkward night ending to a wonderful minister meeting. It's not something that is really talked about in Christian. So unfortunately, you know, I'm here today to talk about this stuff. He left and we were kind of reeling and, you know, I'd been pregnant. Go to the bathroom at night, middle of the night three, I never felt anything weird. I had experiences as a kid. I dealt with evil supernaturalism from time to time. I didn't have a grid word for that. I didn't have a grid work. So I put it in the back of my mind and continued living our life. And a couple of months later, we actually attended their wedding. And that night was the first, like, major nightmare that I had in that house. And I woke up in a cold sweat and I'd been dreaming about this, this entity. It looks kind of like, I guess, the Irish would describe a band. She's along here, the drawn mouth, black hollow eyes flowing in this gray tattered thing. And it was just hovering in the corner of the bedroom, screaming, why? This is creepy. This is totally a dream. Okay. And I'm like, this is weird. But I wake up and I'm like, whatever, bad dream, bad taco, you know, who knows? I go back to sleep. Yeah. I'm not ready to be like, okay, this dude got this list of demons. Like, I'm not going there yet. I'm a Christian. We're told that, you know, you pray, everything gets better. We got the power of Christ. Well, the dreams continued and, you know, through the end of the pregnancy, there was one particular night that stood out. My husband, we'd been married a year and a half at this time. He wasn't much of a dreamer. He never woke me up from dreams. Never talked about him. Never remembered him. And I wake up like it was, doesn't sound scary, but it was a really distressing dream. I wake up and I roll over to shake my husband awake. And before I can shake him, he's like, uh, uh, moaning in his sleep like and fear. And he sits up and I'm like, what's going on? It's like, man, I was just having this terrible nightmare that these animals are trying to eat our baby. And I gave me chills. I'm like, okay, let's pray. Let's say some praise and go to sleep. But still, I'm not, I'm not there yet. I'm not like, okay, this guy's right. The dreams continued. Um, then the event started fairly quickly. I mean, and a lot of them, as you hear other people say, the things that you want to explain away, we would have, um, bangs on the porch. We would have scratching in the walls, nonstop. I mean, in the closet area up to the ceiling, we called the exterminator. We had them check for raccoons, rats, mice, no evidence of anything. But he did tell us there was the worst infestation of black widows he'd ever seen in our cellar, which is where the guys want us. I was like, I took care of that. But there were just a lot of things we couldn't explain. I remember one of the first things my husband actually witnessed, which unfortunately didn't cause him to fully believe that anything was going on was in the evening around dusk. He'd gone to take the garbage out and I left the back door open. I was sitting on the couch watching TV and I heard him outside go, what the heck? And I go, what happened? He said, I just saw a firefly by the cellar door. And I'm like, this is Washington babe. We don't have fireflies. It's like, I know. So I was like, huh, well, whatever, you know, what can, what are you going to do with that? It didn't seem threatening or just like that's weird. Several weeks later, you know, I'm having more nightmares and this one particular nightmare I had, there's this old lady in an old period dress. And she, she's like looking at me saying, you need to protect your baby. There's a demon in your house. You need to protect your baby. And she said, a sign to you will be when you wake up, your refrigerator door will be open. And I woke up in the morning immediately out of the dream. And the first thing I did was laugh because I thought that seemed so corny and like, how silly. Like, you were the fridge door, you know, I'm going to chocolate and I, I go to the kitchen to get some milk from my toddler. He's waking up in the fridge doors open. And I, I, it wasn't funny anymore. Like these things are starting to add up and I started wondering like, what happened in this house? What, what could it cause this?
