Ep 320: REMEMBER RICHARD CHEESE???

This iHeart podcast features a lively, humorous exploration of honesty, deception, and personal authenticity through multiple short-form segments. Hosts introduce new shows like "Don't Lie to Me," where two best friends with vastly different life experiences discuss dating, relationships, and aging with raw vulnerability, and "Scam Goddess," a true crime comedy podcast that uses satire to examine fraud, scams, and deception. The conversation frequently veers into absurdity—like debates over jazz music tastes, questionable doctor visits, and the smell of body odors—using humor to critique social norms and human behavior. A central theme is the idea of authenticity, with hosts repeatedly urging listeners to stop lying and embrace their true selves. The segments also touch on deeper topics, such as the ethics of execution methods and the psychology of criminal behavior, often with a comedic twist. Through playful, irreverent storytelling, the podcast creates a safe space for candid discussion, blending entertainment with insight. It encourages audiences to laugh at themselves and society while reflecting on truth, identity, and connection in everyday life. The tone is lighthearted yet thoughtful, making complex issues accessible through humor and shared experience.

Listening to get worse with Kyle Proo on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to This Is Important, a production of iHeart Radio. The show where we only talk about what is most obviously very crucially important. Today on This Is Important, tell me you have never fucked without telling me you've never fucked. If the titties smell like dryersheets, that shit about it, it, it. Let's go, yeah. Wake up, wake up, wake up, and Blake said you have to poop. It's weird. I got that knock knock knock on the door of my booty hole, and yeah, I feel like I have to poop, but I'm going to hold it for the entire pod to me. Oh, cool way to start. And this is in Durs, we established this right before he came on at him, but this is a safe space, so I'm really. Oh, I'm really since when, dude. I mean, I just feel like this isn't safe space. Oh, it was safe before Adam got on. It's a very safe here. I can talk about anything I want. You can. Anywhere Adam goes, it's known as the danger zone. That's not true. That's not true. A lot of guitar really good guys. You gotta watch your tongue around this guy. No, no, no, no, let it fly. It makes for a good podcast. You know, I would love to hear it. I feel safe. We got to watch his tongue. I feel okay. I feel safe. I feel very. Well, well, well, like a dog drinking water. I feel safe around my guys. I can talk about, you know, my real feelings, things I care about. Anything but jazz. Anything but jazz, I will be publicly executed. People are coming for your fucking to your rescue in the comments on that jazz clip. Adam. Well, people really like Blake, and I like him too. So I, you know, I can, I'm not gay now. I want to do it. I wanted to come for him in the comments as well and just say, hey, man, it's okay that you're lying. And you said this to me in private that you do not like when you go over to over two tubas and then you place his jazz music late at night and then you're, and then you have to pretend like you like it. You told me this. Maybe I was pretending to dislike it to get in your good graces. Have you ever thought of that? Now I was going to come for you on that. I'm not gay no more. It's all about being your authentic self. So now I'm like, I can't trust anything you say because you're willing to lie. Maybe he's a shifter. Because I don't care if you like jazz or not. I don't care. Why would I care? Well, I do like jazz. Okay, he's like, I like the little one that goes. That's my favorite. The Obo. Did you guys see there? There was a clip of, you know, John Baptist. He's the jazz musician who is from New Orleans. Don't get me started on this guy. Somebody help me. And he is really nice guy. I met him a handful of times. He was Stephen Colbert's band leader. And he super nice guy. But then they played sabotage by the Beastie boys. And you know how they'll do that thing. It's like a viral thing. Well, they'll play a musician, some song that they've never heard of before. And they either have to drum to it or they have to like in his case is a pianist. So he had to play the piano. What now? You heard me. Hello. Hey, Blake. Good catch. Hey, sick. You got me. And we're back. I hear pian. I see I hear pian. And my ears perk up. So he's a pianist. And he Blake is a kid. Stop giggling. You are eight years old. And I love that about you, dude. You hate jazz, but you love pianists. Like most eight year olds. And like most eight year olds. Carry on. Yeah. And you cut your crust off your grilled cheese, don't you? I like that part. So he's playing. So he's listening to sabotage. As if he's never heard sabotage. As if he's never heard music. I've seen the same clip. Yeah, I don't know about this guy. I also watched his like architectural digest tour of his house. And I was like, is this dude insane? He's a bagel. He seems like a giant four year old who's a musical genius. But he's also just like. The whole fucking time. And I'm like, yes, child like wonder, you're saying who walks? Who holds this dude's hand when he crosses the street? I think if you are that crazy genius, you are just a little bit like. Because anyone. You guys are doing this. I know that's actually a good impression of him. It's like his head is really heavy. He's not blind. You know how like Ray Charles would. Sure. Would like to look around because. Look around. Yeah. Not look around. He's not looking. He was sensing definitely. That's the only thing he's not. No, Stevie Wonder is sniffing. Yeah, I think that's what you're doing. You're sniffing around. He's like a dog with his head out of a car window. For sure. He can smell cookies from anywhere. I think he did. Stevie Wonder almost all is busy cracker. Oh, that's pretty good. Almost all of his songs. They're about love, but they're about the love for fresh baked cookies. Do we jump? Yeah. Snickerdood. I wonder if that's why he loves love so much is because like. Just like the stinkos for days. The stink of sex is like so. Conjent repugnant. Where are we going? Where are we? Well, he's always thinking about love. So like maybe that's why it's just the smells of it. Oh. It's so it's like. Smells like someone's fucking. Yes. What? What cookies? Probably in the butthole. Goodbye. When cookies come out of the oven. Yeah. You're able to smell it. And it's the similar. Right. All of his first drafts of songs are nasty. Yeah. Real. Right. It starts right. It's just to get the rhythm going and then he swaps it out with like. Christmas for the children. Yeah. It's a vagina. I love clean vagina. Like a dry head sheet. Tell me you have never fucked without telling me you've never fucked. Roll. The titties are like sand. Right? The bumpy brale nipples. If the titties smell like dryer sheets. That should about it. You say it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I did. I did everything. I want everything smelling like fresh linen. I. Okay. That's not how it smells. It is. And by the way, fresh linen. Even more different than dryer sheets. Dry sheets. Very strong. No. Dry sheets. If you. If you pulled a girl's pants down and it smelled like dryer sheets. You got some questions. What was the commercial where they say I forgot to add the fabric softener. What the fuck in them where they would like run up the stairs of the apartment down to the basement where they. What. What's the name of the fucking dryer sheets? I don't. I used to do that all the time when I was like 19 years old. I would wash my clothes and I just would run out of detergent and just be like, well, it's water at least. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, there's, it's water. You know, we haven't used dryer sheets in months. For ten years. Ten years. Ten years. Ten years. Come on. You're fifth like ever. Adult life. Just start. Come on. Yeah. Well, I think that there's like cancer in it. I don't fucking worth it. You know, I don't. I don't like with it when it smells too. Mm-hmm. Too stank. Mm-hmm. And it's a good smell. You know, I understand that it's a good smell. But I don't want it. That's because you can see so well. I don't want it too fragrant. Your vision's too good. And anything. Anything too fragrant. Okay. You like a subtle. You like a subtle. What is going on with people, if I get into an elevator and you're not in it and I still smell you, what is your deal? You don't like the scent, the trail. I don't know knowing someone who isn't there. I don't like a walk away smell. - Even if it smells good, that's absolutely right. - So you don't like grandma's? - Come on. - I don't love the smells. - Blake, can I tell you what grandma's smell like? - Do they smell like piss and then perfume over the piss? - Yeah. - Well, it's still. - It depends on the age of the grandma, but yes. - I'm talking about women or dudes, no piss. Like if you have a perfume that's still there when you're gone, if you have like a little ghost, little ghost scent. - Fuck off, it's too crazy. - It happened, we took our son to the doctors and it was at a, it's in a building where it's just a bunch of doctor's offices, right? So we go, we're taking him to his little doctor's appointment. - And little doctor's appointment. - Well, it's just tiny, it's tiny like he's a tiny man. - And which by the way, children's hospital, like grown up hospitals should be that welcoming. I love a kid's hospital. - Well, it wasn't a hospital, you know, we didn't have an ill, you know, it was like just a checkup. - A little checkup center, but the guy's very cute. There's wheels on that. - I'm assuming that's where it plays. - It's the safe space. - Still goes. Is he still goes to his pediatrician when he's 42 years old? - Dr. Friend is the man, dude. Dr. Friend, he's got a gentle touch. - They're like, all right, we'll see you next time. No toy. - Yeah, what do we do? - Lonely pop. - Okay, no suckers. - No sticker. - So what happened? - Some woman came in and then she's stunk so aggressively. - All right, a woman, like a patient. - Kumbaya. - I'm assuming she was going to a doctor. And then when she leaves and both Chloe and I looked at each other and we were like, that is why she's going to the doctor, right? - Right, right, right. - Like, it's the smell that she's like, I have to get this checked out. - Would Jim Carey call a philopian fungus? - Remember if I get. - Lier, Lier? - What does that mean? - Me, myself and Irene, when he's, nah, yeah, where's that the check out? And he's like, she's got a fungal and Buddha. That just kills it, yeah. - That's a great one. He's one of our greatest. - Oh, the 90s. - Yeah, but this John Baptist guy. So he, Blake, he listens to sabotage and he's a musical genius, right? He's supposed to be able to like, take a song and then like, add his piano to it and he listens to the whole thing. They strip everything away except for the drums and the lyrics. And it sounds insane. It isn't, (hums) Oh, it is? - Yeah. - Yeah. - And then he adds piano on top of that. - He's supposed to add piano to it and he goes, you know what, I'm not gonna change a thing. - It's science. - No, this sounds, this is raw, this is real. I've never heard this song before, but it's doing something to me. I wouldn't add anything to this. And you're like, obviously, that's the wrong move. - That's not why we're here filming this, but okay. - Well, it was also strange though because I don't think there are, there's not a piano in that song. - In that song. - There's not. - Like, it's a guitar. So like, why have him do this? Like, you know, play piano man and say, what would you add? - Right. - Right. - Well, I wouldn't mind hearing a little piano rendition of sabotage. That might be cool. That's like when they do those little like lounge. - But I wish you would have done that. - Like, tiny concerts? - Yeah, those lounge, those lounge singers, like where they like, get up, get down with the sick. - Oh, yeah, that was the era. What was that, dude's name? - Who, who Richard cheese, Richard cheese? Shout out Richard cheese, not flowers. - No flowers for Richard cheese. - Get down with the sickness, get up, get down with the sickness. - Yeah, that was some real, real comedy club. - Sippin' on gin and juice. I actually don't know what he's saying, but I know who you're talking about. - That seems right. - What was his hit? - What was his like, oh, he popped through. - I don't think he had a hit. - I feel like he did. - I'm like, alternative on Q1 and Chicago, they played like one of his covers that like put 'em on. - Oh, wow. - It might have been down with the sickness. - Was it like, smells like teen spirit? (laughing) - Adam, you have to make one of these albums, too. - Dude, get your Seth Meyers on. - No, who did Seth McFarland? - McFarland. - Yes. - Yeah, yeah, Seth Meyers would be good, too. - I would love to go to one of these parties, although at the same time, I'm like, what happens there? Apparently he gets an entire orchestra and makes everybody at the party listen to him. - Yeah. - Crune? - No, I think-- - 'Cause he got crune. - 'Cause he shows like a giant holiday party. - Right. - And I was invited one time and I was out of town, and he didn't get to go, and I was kind of bombed, but then you're right. Down to sunset? - Down to where our cars are parked? - I assume he's got that kind of crib. - That's a move. I feel like that's a move that a lot of people do. They throw a house party where it's kind of their excuse to have their band sort of jam. - Well, Sandler used to do that, Sandlerwood. - He used to have these huge Christmas or holiday parties, and it was part of, it was baked into his Sony deal. You only need one thing, and that's the get worse podcast. - Listen to get worse with Kyle Proo on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. - If I had to guess how many feet are in my intestines, I would have guessed less than 10, but it's way more than 10. - That's a lot of toes. - That's like a whole last shack. - That's like a shack up inside. - Yeah, even more than a shack. - It's more than shack. - That's more than shack. - Is it Shamu? - That's a little less than shacku. - Maybe slide in the chat here, and let us know exactly how many feet. - It's 33 feet, isn't it? - 33 feet of intestines are up in your guts. - You know the amount of intestines, that's it. - That's a stat. - I think I only know it because it's one of those, it's one of those things as a young gay man I had to know. - No, it's a fact on a popsicles. - 'Cause you're like, aren't you gonna run out of butthole and they're like, you can go deeper, there's 33 feet of this. - Keep going. - Our boy Pete Davidson has Crohn's disease, so. - Oh really? - Yeah, he has to do with this. - Bro, he's probably got 36 feet of intestines. - Yo, big intestine energy. - What was the movie, Planet Terror, where like the doctor says, "Did you know you've got 30 feet of intestines?" - Oh, or was that in machete? - And then he cuts it out and uses it as like a bungee cord. - That was in machete, right? - I think it's in Planet Terror. - The hospital's seeing a Planet Terror. - Which is, what they're saying is between for the small intestine, it's 15 to 22 feet. - So that's a lot, and then the large intestine, which I guess there's multiple intestines in there, that's about five feet long. So if you add those together, yeah. That's 27 feet. - Now why the hell, now why the hell haven't we evolved to have just a shorter intestine? Why do you need so much goddamn tubing in there? - And this is why I think AI is so good for us. We're gonna figure this out. - Come on. - We're gonna give it to us. - This is what they're gonna figure out. I'm gonna sick my AI agent on this. - Right. - And do you think people in the future are gonna, for like weight loss, they're gonna get like 12 feet removed and they're like, dude, I'm like 160 now, it's fucking killer. - I could see that. I mean, I feel like peptides are doing all the work now. You don't have to take out your intestines, but. - Do you think we ever have longer intestines or shorter intestines at any point? And you've, I mean, obviously we've all evolved from just a petri dish, but I'm saying as like a human species, did we ever have longer or shorter intestines? - We got 40 minutes to kill, go, go, go, go. - Come on, man. - Yeah, I don't even honestly, I don't really know much about the intestines. - Yes, I do. - But that lady was stinking at the doctor? - Yeah. - Yeah. - Dude, she'd be freaking. - She'd be freaking. - Damn bitch. - If she wasn't going to the doctor for that, I feel like the doctor would have to say something. - That would be kind of fun. - Full on, philope and fungus. What if waiting rooms are like. doctor's offices had like a stand-up and they would like roast you and like guess your ailment. I know why I know why you're here because you're shit stinks right and they're like okay well actually I have I have Crohn's disease but yeah that's pretty funny just be have a sense of humor I am dying yeah it's kind of like patch atoms but it's atoms version he roast you upon it it's Adam's patch and it's it looks like a garbage or like a cabbage patch he has a salt and Adam's that anywhere's Guy Fieri shirts like with flames dude I'm like I know you're not roasting me with that fucking patch and he's like this isn't fun anymore and this motherfucker I don't want to play his fake they're gonna come take it my mic and going home I like that Blake goes all right who would be at a doctor's office somebody with a fake leg I mean yeah you got to get that shit checked up on right yes I don't know I feel like you you go to the mechanic I think you get it fitted and then yeah and then you you're not going back to the doctor's office just to tell have them tell you that it's still not there you know once it's you don't sit's healed up and like you you know you're checking in like yearly at least to be like where we at with like leg science right yeah I would be doing I would be I don't you can tell your doctor that though hey doctor what's up where we at with leg science yeah I don't think so I mean I have you know my my legs are pretty non our banks right and I'm not going to get our lick okay hit it okay ready three I don't have two okay hit me with him with whatever you got closest to a guitar lick ready one two I'm not gay no more yeah that's about I don't do it but I'm not going back to the doctor to be like what's up with leg science really yeah that's like medical science is like advancing or you know there's all this is important you'd be surprised at how much it isn't yeah they mostly care about like getting people skinny getting dicks hard and having people keep their hair that's it it's all the vanity shit they these doctors start out they go look we're going to solve blood pressure forever I'm gonna change everyone's lives in a positive way it gets them big donors oh oh well yeah let's do that I'm gonna buy an island yeah kind of forget about yeah kind of forget about you know actually saving people's lives as long as everyone's rock hard yeah I wonder if that's what they were they were they aiming for that or did they land on that were they developing a medicine to help a disease yes it was for blood pressure it was for he literally just explained it yet I I think that's why I was thinking about that is I was sort of listening to and then penetrated so yeah I was a good student as it will I was a good student daddy good hello oh god yeah like that's that's what it was that's why I said it yeah and this is not it was some other thing of the GLP ones they they uh that was for diabetes right yeah they were trying to figure out diabetes and then they were like hold up wait a minute but people can get skinny people can look straight gaunt in like three months it comes from a gila monster really that wild it actually comes from a gila monster yeah because a gila monster eats like three times a year and then it's just what is a gila monster it's a lizard like a commoto dragon is it the same thing nah they're like they're about this they're about what is this 100 inches this has to be about 100 inches right because this is you're right this is like seven yeah um they're like a little lizard and I guess they eat like no times a year but like that's so sick the metabolism can like whatever they they survive off of that and so they took a little bit of that injected it right into his dick um they gave it to people and it's sustained they're like appetite they're like I don't need to eat is that for real bam that's crazy I think so yeah that's how they figured out the GLP worms as they took the yeah this dude in the 90s in the 90s it is great era by the way why do I know this because I can't fucking handle these titties anymore do I make you hold me dude I hope I hope if you get I hope if you get on it and your titties just flop off that's the first thing I don't know what to do with these now I'm getting haunches it would be really sad if if you just lost weight absolutely everywhere else except for those those stuff but I think that's how it would work is that like you still lose weight in the way you would lose weight um I got to get like what do they call cool sculpting where they like freeze the fat what what and they fucked up that supermodel now she's all kind of what happened not she's all science one of those 90s supermodels from the George Michaels videos oh I'm not gay no more um we believe you got cool sculpting okay like it'll lump out face okay damn till she got lumped out I feel bad she went it's a bummer well don't do that so you're you don't do anything for three more years don't do that don't do that I think when I maybe I turned 50 I'll have everybody over to watch it happen Blake's Blake's voice has has changed in the last like month I've noticed that don't like he'll like has a nishball for talking every once in a while and then then they'll talk like this I don't know what it is what are you talking about anything for comedy don't I mean you just did a version of it I thought this was a safe space don't do that don't do this is the danger zone okay now the danger zone now I don't know more Adam logons so we just this is our first show back since the hot hot hot hot hot Niagara I almost said by agra by agra fall by agra fall by agra ball by agra balls that's why did we say that sorry sorry can it a good memory Adam you're so good at remembering things happen we should talk about it and we should talk about it so this is the first show back and my god was that a banger and that was one of my favorite shows that we've done months and years honestly yeah that was really cool I think it's the first show we've done since the cruise which feels wild yes holy shit because after the cruise I was raring to do a bunch more we're we're raring to get back out here that it took so long yeah no um but they uh oh we did the troubadour after the cruise but that was a small that was an intimate gathering yeah that was a little that was a rock show that's true pop rock show um but this was a proper a lot a lot of Canadian showed up to want to say thank you to all the connects they have love and people travel they were coming from all over flying freaking three hours to get to us to see us I heard someone say they flew four hours someone else flew a couple hours dude craze drove some people drove a couple hours yeah a lot of people walked they walked a couple dudes walks they were kind of walked they were would they yeah they lived really close so so yeah shout out to the buffalo boys anybody from buffalo showed up oh yeah big big buff was in the building I'm a little pissed we didn't stay for a bills game that's on Isaac that is crazy coming back people were like did you stay on the good side or the bad side and I was like I don't even know what that means and they're like I don't know the Canadian side or the American side one of the sides is worse than the other do you guys have any recollection of that you know I thought the Niagara side was a good side I didn't see any bad side of the Niagara side I know we're in the kind of the touristy area but it seemed pretty sick so I don't I don't know what shockingly touristy right I mean obviously I know it's a tourist attraction but I thought I was I thought we were stumbling into like a like a national parks vibe same and it was a margaritaville rift please believe it or not fooders yes yeah and you guys didn't even there was a hooters it was connected to a quality in you're literally your lobby restaurant is a hooters god man we didn't go there was a rainforest cafe there was a my cousin Vinnie Italian restaurant yes to folk like I didn't know they did it like that perfect that was that was the truth there I had no clue I was expecting park rangers and yeah it was straight up margaritaville it truly was we were a cross from a margaritaville true hope we didn't eat there which I'm a little mad I think I got vetoed on that the ball yeah would have been that was well somebody's mentioned that the food was awful and I said okay well that kind of sorts that out for us doesn't it yes and then we settled on shoeless joes shoeless joes shoeless joes shoeless joes shoeless joes I don't know why I don't know tacos and fucking you had bro I can't believe we didn't even talk about your order you're an absolute legend bro you're such a savage you you got the fucking skillet cheeseburger the thing that I would you it's gonna it's gonna kill you could kill you doors has a doors has to feed those titties I don't know why I had these and only science medical science can get rid of them that's the only cause it's crazy that you ordered that like we were all kind of like there's no way you're going to be eaten less than 2000 calories doors went for like six thousand to my to my fans out there I hated that said the calories when you're eating like that don't don't put the calories yeah with the calories when you're at like a solid place that you're like oh okay yeah this is is only 500 colors or whatever. This was like, oh, I'll get this. And it was 28 hours. - It should just say, it should just say, like ellipses. - Let's go. - It's a lot, dude. - Yeah. - Not good. - It should be a tower size. - It should be like, you really wanna know? You're eating a cheeseburger, sitting in cheese sauce. - So let's just paint the picture here. - Let's paint it baby. - It's a cheeseburger cut in half. And then it's put like inside down, like the cut part down into a skillet of cheese. Had to do it. - Yeah, yeah. - I had to see it all, 'cause when I was in Japan a while back, they were doing it there, but it was Japanese style. This was Schulis Joe's. - Yeah, this is a Canadian stuff. - But I'm interested. I'd love to see the cut. - And then we started off with a bucket of poutine. And poutine. - Yeah, baby. - I didn't touch the poutine though. Oh, I did. - I know you guys like it. - I honestly, Adam, I think it's-- - I don't like it. - It kind of makes me think like, you can lose your man card over that one, dude. (laughing) - Oh, I have to strip you of your man card, right? - I'm not a man no more. - What don't you like? - Why, so you can finally get one? - I'm taking yours, I'm compensating it, all right? - Adam, what don't you-- - Hey, Blake. - What? - Points. - Bro, that was the coldest little-- - Yes, points! - I don't have backwards knuckle flip. I've seen it in a long time. - Why, so you can have it bounces off of me, bounces off of me. - Bounces off of me, sticks to you. (laughing) - Look ahead. - It's fries with gravy and cheese. What the hell don't you like about it? - Well, because I like fries with ketchup and salt. I don't like fries with gravy or with cheese. - Why? - What about-- - But to me, it doesn't taste good. - You don't like-- - I like gravy on other things. I like-- - I don't like mashed potatoes and gravy. - I like, I mean, I like a little gravy and it depends on the gravy. I like white gravy, I don't like a dark gravy. - What the hell are you talking about? - That was his nickname in high school is white gravy. - Damn, kinda hard. - Yeah, kinda hard. - That definitely wasn't your nickname in high school, but-- - Don't you like a light watery-- - What have been in my mind? - You like a light watery gravy? What would it be? - I'm not a big gravy guy. To be perfectly honest, I don't love the gravy. And also, when they put, I don't like chili dogs. I don't like chili on a hot dog. I like a hot dog. - I like a hot dog. - I like a hot dog. - I don't like chili on the dog. I don't like when they put chili on hamburgers. I think that's fucking foul. You ruined the hamburgers. - Chili on hamburgers is not for me. - No, you gotta go to get a fat boy. I'm telling you. - I know, you've got your fat boy in Canada. - I'm telling you. - It's way different, it's way different. - That's what they say, that's what they say. - It'll change you. - Was that like-- You were talking about changing his voice, Adam? I'm telling you. - I'm telling you. - That's my Trump impression, which I premiered in Canada and they were loving it. - They were just eating it up. Evidently-- - Do you want to give a little to the-- - Well, I guess this air's after, so they'll have seen it. People will listen. - Oh, yeah, that's replay value. I kind of have forgotten how to do it. - I'm gonna put a better myself. - Yeah, let's hear a little bit. - I love you guys. - Let's hear a little bit of it. - I gotta get back into it. Like I was really on fire, but then-- - Yeah, this isn't like a party trick. - I kind of dropped-- - You were coming on fire for sure. - Yeah, I kind of dropped everything. - This is like Daniel Day Lewis. - You don't just go, "Oh, we'll be Lincoln." He's like, "Well, hang on, mate." - It's pretty good. It's right there. It's a Trump, President Trump. - You know how-- - It's way worse than I remembered. - They have like a one thing that they go back to. Like I've been watching Tom Cruise promoting this new movie. And he keeps doing like these, he keeps going like, boom, boom, boom, boom, from like the movie. And I'm like, "No one's seen it yet." We don't know what-- - You want to see it? - But they're like, "It's amazing what you do." He goes, "Yeah, it's just a boom, boom, boom, boom." And I'm like, "Tom, no one knows what you're doing." So do you have a thing that you cleat, like that you clue on from a real Trump? - Yes, as a great impressionist, Blake, what is your thing that you might go to? - Yeah. - Like that you hear something in your head that you go, that is the Trumpism right there. That's what I'm, or are you more doing impressions you've heard someone else do? - I think I probably draw on other people's impressions and I try to copy that. So it's a real watered, watered down. - That's a way to do it. That is a way to do it. - You kind of talk here and then you go, "Oh, that's Jimny Glick." - That's Jimny Glick. - That's Jimny Glick. - But you know what though? I think that's Trump too. I will say, I do think that that is Trump. He'll be like, up high, then he's down low. - Well, he's up high when he's like, "When he'll go like that." - Yeah, Adam, how does he go? He's like, "They're saying that I'm the greatest." (laughing) - Woohoo! - Ah! - Was that a good impression? That was even better. - Jim! - That might have been even better worse. (laughing) 'Cause you're just doing the Neuroface again. You're doing the Neuroface like you did at the live show. - You're like, "He's kind of a De Neuro-y." - I think maybe that they're two sides of the same coin. - Oh, interesting. - That's why they hate each other so much. - They got a bunch of, yeah. - They got a bunch of. - They've seen each other at a few weird orgies, you know, the billionaire orgies. - Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. - Definitely. - Yeah, they're both real estate moguls. - Oh, really? - Yeah, that's true, yeah. - I guess the Neuro just opened a huge movie studio in New Jersey. - Oh, no. - Yeah, I would do that. - Yeah, I don't want that. - I don't want New Jersey boys. - I'm down for that. - Yeah. - Kroners? (dramatic music) - Lisa, we should tell them about our new show. - Oh my God, Lexi. - We have a new podcast. - I'm Lexi Iwanyu, we're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart. - And I'm Lisa de Julio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references, occasionally different opinions. And at this point in my 50s, I lived it all. - I'm not going to get any worse than fighting. - That is wild. - Obviously I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight. - Don't lie to me. - Don't lie to me. - Don't lie to me. - Liar. I don't really care. - I'm Lacey Mosley, author, actor, standup, comedian, creator, and host of Scam Goddess Podcasts, the True Crime Comedy Podcasts, all about robbery, fraud, and those who practice it. (scary music) - Dude, did you guys hear this story in the news? Actually, it was pretty freaking cool. This girl that they tried to kill, like publicly execute, she was getting lethal injection, and she-- - Oh, they heard a little bit about this, yeah. - Didn't fucking die? She, they tried to do it twice, and it didn't kill her. - Yeah. - Dude, that's Ernest Ghost of Jail. What the fuck, that's great. - This is an origin story for like a villain or what? - Yeah, what if she like became Bane or some shit? - Well, you give us more of the story, or do you not have much of it? - It was in Tennessee. There was a woman who like committed a murder when she was a teenager. She's been, right? - In the chat. - Okay. - Yeah, give us why she was in prison. - She murdered someone. - Her name was Christina Pike. She survived a botched execution in Tennessee. - Adam's got it. - September 30th. - After two consecutive doses of the lethal drug, pen from-- - Barbato. - Trafalax. - And a Barbato? - That's how you pronounce it. - Trap shirt. - Failed to kill her. - Oh, Kruehn. - Well, that is a word that doesn't, that isn't in polite society. Which is, I forget where you live. Go ahead. - Yes, that's right. - Fruning of this woman, this woman's a killer. You could just tell by her, her mug shot. - I don't think that's in question. - Should I click on that? Should I click on that? - Yes, click on it. It's Wikipedia. She, the Chris, she looks like a man. - She either, no, she's, every time they do one of these documentaries, or it was like, she, the nanny was the killer. It looks like this woman. - Yeah. - Or she was my mom's friend who cut my hair as a child. - Yeah, she looks like the nice haircut lady. - But then you find out that she's a killer. - Yeah. - So, okay. - Yeah, two friend, Pike and two friends led, Slammer. Okay, in 1995, when she was 18, Pike murdered her 19 year old classmate calling Slammer in Knoxville, Pike and two friends led Slammer into the woods where they tortured and killer. Yeah, so this woman deserves to be fucking put to death. - Is this the famous, is this the famous? No, I think that was the concept. - But she didn't, they tried, they tried twice. - And she was like, she said, she straight up bained that shit. She's like, yo, I'm not going out like this. - Yeah, do you think she said that? - No, do you think she was screaming and crying? - Do you, I mean, at that point, you got a bad batch. - You got a bad batch. - I, I, I'm like, what the fuck are they doing? Yeah, did they get the wrong shit? Did they just inject her with load boost? Or something like, what happened there? How is it not working? - What are we? - How do we not have a fallback plan, too? - Let me just ask this. - You got to have a fallback plan. - Are we pro? What is it, what is it? - Corporal punishment? - Yeah, absolutely. - Capital punishment? - You're into it, right? Corporal punishment? - I don't know if I'm into it, but I think, I think it's like you're too hard. - Yeah, I'm not into it. - That makes you crude. - You're one of the guys that go and watch live. - Got me, Cronin. - Yeah, I'm like, I can chill out. That would be nice. - Spoken. - I mean, our prisons are overcrowded. - Why can't, and look, I'm not thinking about this at all. - Come on. - When I say this, I like this. This is important, guys. But you know how they have those things to kill cows? Where it's just, it's a bolt gun where the bolt goes in and out of the skull? - Yes. - No country for old men. - Yes. - Right. - Thank you. - Awesome. - Great. - Also, an episode of Bones, season one. - Okay. - Go off, which I think old country must have ripped off, even though it was a book from way earlier. - Right. - Okay. - We don't just use those. - You know what? How did we like choose the men? - Dovers. - Like, why is it lethal injection? Why is that? - 'Cause that's humane. It like puts you to sleep and then you go. - Evidently not, she survived it. - That's my point. It's like, we can't just like, I don't know, I don't know. - It becomes a whole thing. Because we're trying to be humane. - Which is weird. - Which is weird. - We round about, we fuck it up. We fumble the ball. It becomes a whole football metaphor. (laughing) - Dude, when we can just spike, don't worry. You can go to spike it. It completely got intercepted. It was insane. - Exactly. And then game over. It's a win. And now we're in sudden death. - We're basically in sudden death at this point. - Firing squad? - They used to do firing squad, so you wouldn't know like if you were the bullet that killed her, like if you cause, you know, you don't want to be the killer essentially, but you work for the prison and, you know, and they give you the gun, you know. - And they would load up all the guns with blanks except for one. Was the whole thing, so you never knew. I believe, this is, I don't fucking know of them. - Yeah, but then like you miss and you're like, and then they're still standing there. They're like, okay, but everybody goes again. - That's probably the new guy. - Yeah, he's like, I know I hit. - David, I nailed it. I nailed her with mine. I did nail her with mine. - Mine, mine definitely hits who the fuck man is. - Who didn't know that would be so embarrassed. - And there's one guy who's just like, I definitely didn't miss. Yeah, no. - Yeah, and then they load him up again and it happens again. And they're like, okay, fucking, just don't miss. All right. - Okay, you know what? Everybody go, Todd, come here. You're gonna solo. You can. - Todd, I think it's you. - You're shooting like this. - You're not looking. - I don't wanna see it. - Like give him. - None of us wanna see it. - Yeah, and then we do need to put this woman down. She murdered her friend in the woods. - Well, there has to be like, I mean, there's so many ways, just put her on the top of. - What's the best way? Should we fix this now? - I mean. - Well, how about this? How about we were just at Niagara Falls? - Sure. - It's awesome. - Oh, you toss him in Niagara Falls. If they survive. - They get one more kill. - And they get to live the rest of their life. They get to live the rest of their life. Just like in an insane asylum, like wrapped up tight. Because they're still a killer. But they could like look out of a window and they're all crippled and they could just look out of a window for the rest of their life. 'Cause they survive the fall. - That seems more humane, yeah. - If that's what we're going for. - But then, if they don't, it's at least, like you could sell t-shirts, like the merch game would be pretty big time. And there's definitely some sick ass old school merch of like when people would go to like the electric chair and stuff, like, I feel like 10 days. - Oh, there is? - Yeah, you can get bootlegs. People are crazy like that. You show up to the execution. There's t-shirts. Go on eBay, dude. - I could fit, I need to spend more time on eBay. I know you're, you know what? I spend a lot of time on eBay. Never came across bootleg murder trial shirts. - Like, Blake weirdly loves serial killers. It's like a weird, yeah. Everyone thinks he's this nice guy. And those are the ones that are usually serial killers. - I find it very fascinating. It is the peak of like human just fuck up. - Excellent to see. - Fucked up, but he, yeah, no doubt. - Fucked up. - It's just, you can say low point instead of peak. - You can say it's the low point. - Yeah, but even the peak of the low point. - It's just about like, it's getting into the human psyche at such an interesting level. Even what we're talking about, people who sell merch or people who like to buy John Lee and Jason's art. - Look at how many different variations on the shirt they have. - It's interesting. It's interesting this human society. Even discussing, even discussing. - Logo on the back, front pocket team. - Discussing what is the correct way to execute someone is a strange discussion to have. 'Cause what is human? Like, I don't know, art. - Well, you brought it up. - Human is letting people live their lives. - Well, no. - I think some people are like, I'm in life in prison. Like, just fucking, can I please get the fuck out of here, right? - You can't. - You can't. Unfortunately, it's such a bummer. I think that that's the biggest bummer. The biggest bummer is that like, we wish we could let you out. We do. We want everyone out contributing to society. But there are things that happen to people that turn them into people who then can't contribute and they want to just destroy, because that feeds the thing inside of them. And it's a real bummer. - That's a bummer. - Yeah, that's a bummer. - And it's too bad. It's like, you wish you could undo it. - All right. - But it's too dumb. - Well, okay. - Now, have there been any, and I mean, of course, everyone says like, we had a normal upbringing. We raised. - I'm sorry, mama. - We raised him so normally, I don't understand. - No, no, no. - Well. - Something was going on. - Look, there's also chemical stuff. There's also like, look, I would argue, and I would love to argue right here right now, because it is so funny. - So funny. - Let's argue with him. - You obviously have people with a certain chemical balance and then things that happen in line. - It's a bad thing. - And if someone has like a bad chemical balance or whatever we're calling that and nothing traumatic happens, they'll probably find their way through it. But if they've got the bad balance and a bad thing and overreact and then like, take that on, that's their fucking viewpoint. And now that's what they know and how they live their lives. And then they're behind bars and we go, come here, we got this cattle thing for you, sir. It's probably, and by the way, I'm sure a lot of people are like, you're tormented, right? You spend your days hating life and wanting to inflict pain to like, 'cause it's your language, it's all you know. This is probably going to be a relief, you know. I mean, it's gonna take back, or funny your things, or. - No, this is really hilarious. - Right, I mean, it's like these people who have these, what we've always called demons. - Yes, I think they're real demons. - Damn. - Oh shit. - Yeah, it can't be coincidence that we just call them demons. - First time believing in something. - Here's what I'm saying, Durs, is with all that said. And you know, the botched execution. You then have the guy who wrote Ernest goes to jail and he did make that scenario funny, 'cause it is one of the greatest movies ever. So if you haven't seen Ernest goes to jail, go rent it is a classic. - How dare you. - He goes to the electric chair. It doesn't work. It gives him lightning powers. - It's the worst movie. It was the first bad movie. I mean, we talked about this. I remember being like, oh, that was, I don't understand, that was bad. I saw on the theater on Central Street in Edmonton, the old movie theater. I'll never forget walking out and going. Movies can be bad. That's so weird because that's when I said, "Mom, I want to be an actor." And look at us and look at us man and look at you now look at us. We still fuck on the day. Excuse me We can we can cut that cut that well Is Ernie take backs in the apologies any epic slams? Um Uh, I don't know if I haven't he take back today. I felt really I felt like today was a really safe space And I like what happened in this lady though. She's like brain dead And well, it's sort of worked. Yeah, I'm sorry to rewind, but I just what's the button? Yeah, what where are we what happened? Yeah, so they botched it, but what does that mean? I don't know if they're gonna try it a third time She's like brain dead, but what's really wild is like it's also like a governor race So now they're kind of running on it like hey if you let me like oh do it a lot way better or like we got to get rid of You know public you know executing people so it has turned into a whole thing But the merch is gonna be crazy. Yeah, I feel I feel like And I don't know if it's public. I don't know if it's public execution that you just yeah I don't think I don't know if it's public I think well you could like people view it you have there has to be witnesses I guess that doesn't make it public. No. Yeah, it's not done in the middle of the street. No, no, no It's like the family of the girl that she murdered and tortured if you want to watch They could come and watch which it's not on to be it's pretty harsh. I don't know. I don't know if I would want to I don't know someone murdered my child. I might I might be like I'm watching this you go to like make sure let me do it Yeah, let me do it because like a lot of times I'm like yeah, we're gonna do it like go go just run out the back. Just run at the back Be cool. Be cool. Yeah, I'm not going to die your hair Um, well, I want to say thank you to all the fans that came out to see us. Yeah Agra Falls, we had a blast and uh, we didn't see much of the city We mostly drank in the casino lobby bar. Yeah, that's sort of what we did We were at three different tables the entire weekend. Yeah I took a walk about while you guys did your little knaps after taking the cheeseburger to the dome Well, we went to the gym, but yeah, well, I took a walk about in the Actually, there was a super cool part of town where like the rainforest cafe is there's like a room Please believe it or not. It sounds super hard. How unique. Yeah, how worth it. It was fucking cool, dude It's almost worth going back Yeah, I'd love to go back But thank you for for showing up. That was a hell of a show. We had a great time and uh, and Niagara Falls Super fucking cool. Yeah, it's dope. It was way cooler than I thought it was going to be When we were in the mist anything could happen and it felt it felt good. Yeah, it was awesome Is it one of the wonders of the world or no? It is is it it is. Yeah, now I think so I think it's one of seven Where is it eight isn't answer eight? No, because there's larger because they call people of like the ninth wonders What they call there's there's larger Waterfalls than Niagara Falls, right, but does it have the best branding? I think it's one of the natural wonders Hey, feel free Todd bleep put slide in uh slide in here. Let let us know. Yeah, we're not we're not hanging up until we're not hanging We can't end this on on Blake being maybe writer maybe wrong. Oh, okay. Come on. I'm right. And is it It's not natural wonders is it? It's just wonders because like the Great Wall China's one of the wonders Isn't it in the so are the pyramids right? Oh here we go Or are there natural and then there's man there's no Niagara Falls is not officially one of the seven wonders of the world But what are the seven wonders? What about the natural a natural wonder? It's frequently called the honorary I love Adam Adam's like nope, not one of them, but down here does say Frequently called an honorary eighth one of the world Adam's like I can just leave that out That's how I roll. Oh, I didn't read that. I looked up. I was doing my own research. Yeah, no for sure 70 is not official Seven wonders world of North America. So when we do the these lists It's the seven wonders of the world, right? And it's not the seven wonders of North America. That is a completely different thing Where are you seeing North America? What are those? That's like the original hooters right here It says seven Niagara Falls is an official seven natural Wonders of North America and then read more Have to because I point to them. It's like Adam reads it, but his brain goes Though it is a frequently called an honorary eighth wonder of the world due to its massive size and power Yeah, um, I was impressed. I wasn't impressed, but I did think When I saw it I could understand how one would think that they could stick the landing and Make it out of less the mist looks like it could catch it if you go with the right spot Got to pick the right spot and if you didn't listen to last week's Adam Riding a jet ski off and landing right it's science. I think you would have to bail on the jet ski I think the fall would you would end up breaking your spine and then you couldn't swim out then you would die But if you bail, I think I would say it is a wonder It is yeah to me. It's a wonder. Yeah, because it makes because it makes you wonder if you can stick the damn landing on If you want to wear the day of margarita villas god damn So the other unnatural wonders Okay, now we're talking natural wonders.
