The transcription begins with an announcement for the "Happy Campers" live show tour across Ireland and the UK in 2026. The main segment features hosts Kevin and PJ in a casual, rambling conversation. They discuss the importance of wearing sunscreen, even indoors, and share personal anecdotes about childhood games like handball, noting its sometimes chaotic rules. The hosts express frustration with demanding viral charity challenges, like running 5K, and humorously propose their own "tea-making challenge" as a kinder alternative. They also talk about the emotional release of crying, sharing personal stories, and critique the unnecessary guilt people feel during lockdown over minor things like sleeping in or eating treats. The conversation concludes by framing this guilt through the lens of the "Seven Deadly Sins," encouraging listeners to be less hard on themselves.
[Music] Gurley's rally the troops because I'm grandmama going on tour. That's right Gurley's grab your country compass and lace up your hiking team boots 5000 because we are tracking across Ireland and the UK with our brand new show Happy Campers in 2026. We're going to count them, Cork, Kerry, Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and London. We're going to be rakes. Come here, some of the shows are already sold out. So if you don't have tickets, well you better get them fast. Just hit the ticket link in the episode description. We can't wait to see you run the camp for your Gurley's. It's going to be camp. I feel so bad when you're on holidays and you see these children run around and you know they're getting scalded and you're like, "Would your man ever put some sun cream on you?" Do you know what they mean? You're in your six-year holiday going up to young Philips Greenlight. Would you ever put some sun cream on? He wrote it out for all the kids. No, that's going to be a disaster. That is a great moving out. Hey, Mami's, I'm Kevin. And I'm PJ. Lovely. And welcome back to. I'm Grandman! Woo! Gurley's we had to pull back in the will because a few of you have been in touch to say that you've been missing it. There was a lot of complaints. A lot of complaints have been submitted. Well, there was one. There was one. Shane March called us out for it. But you know what? I missed the will to Shane. So we're putting it back in. So we're putting it back in Gurley. Woo! Woo! Woo! I was just saying there you look stunning. Oh, thanks, mate. It actually caught me off-grad because I was. probably like looking at you when we did the intro. I do, I like getting dressed up for the park recording sometimes. Do you know who you are? Yeah. Which are kind of cash on the bottom. On the bottom, yeah, I guess. But Paryantar. Paryantar? Lonesura on the bottom. No, I'm sick of people calling it Lonesura. It's pajamas. It's pajamas. It's PJs. What do you mean, babe? This is my Lonesura. It's not Lonesura though. It's pajamas. Just call it what it is. What? These aren't my pajamas. Guys, go on away with your notions of pajamas. No, but I think they're traxuits. They're just traxuits. Trax, trax, traxes. Yeah. They're just calling their traxuits. They're Lonesura. Also, it's not just your claws. It's because you have a bit of a glow. I do have a glow. You do have a bit of a glow. I think it's because I'd be working by the window these days and I'd be getting songkiss. I told you though, you still need to wear your SPF even if you're not going outside. Oh, yeah. Those rays can get you inside the gaffer. Of course, sneaky rays. Pure sneaky rays. How's everyone else doing? How are we girls? And what week are we on now? We're five? Is it week five? I think it's week five. It's definitely been longer than a month, right? But like we're same person, right? Yeah, I think I am. Obviously, like we've mentioned other episodes, I've my days where I just want to stay in my base. Yeah. And not do a tap. And that's fine and do that. And accomplish nothing in that day. That's all good too. Yeah. But yeah, more often than not, I'm getting on fine. You know what I mean? But to be honest, what's safe for me is that the weather's just gorgeous. That's the thing. I think it would be a different story if it was manky weather as well. Whereas it's kind of hard to be in Fowl-Lumor when the weather's so glorious. Yeah, like I know what sound is good in Ireland, I don't think. Because my man would be telling me we're haunted. Oh yeah, sorry about that guys. But you know what? It's all coming, guys. We're sending over to you. I used to love that whenever you came back from holidays and you come back to Ireland and then your friend's man would go, "Jesus, you brought the fire weather back, would you?" And you'd be like, "Yeah!" And you'd be delighted with yourself, then. But you did absolutely. Obviously. You know what I am craving though? And it's perfect weather for us. Well, I gain my carbs. Oh my god. I love. I gain my carbs. I was lying in bed the other night. In other way, you just be up to La La Rensee, so I was thinking, "Fuck us." You were doing a big carbs. Wouldn't it be great to go play a game of carbs? You see, the thing with carbs, I just love hate relationship because everyone was mad about it. But I never really wanted to play it. Really? I was obsessed with it. When I got into it, I was grand. But like, a lot of the time I was like, "Well, we could just do something more exciting." No carbs was the game for me. And I feel like it was like a game and a game. No, I just hated it at the end of the carbs. Like if you last and then they like, belt the ball at your ass. Oh, we never did that. Oh, really? That sounds very unruly. No, but like if you lose, like, that's the forefetch. Or sometimes it'll be like they get to whack the ball and kick it at your face. Oh Christ. What did you do if you last? I don't know. You congratulate the person who played opposite you. Or there's no like, forefetch. No. There was forefetch of the Nazis. Oh, I said that's kind of chaotic. That's why I didn't like carbs because it was always like, at the end because I was shittered if I was like, okay, I'm getting a smack of a ball at the end of this. I thought the games were good because of the limb hostage. Yeah, but like I was playing against up and coming basketball players. Oh, really? I feel like if you're a good at carbs when you were younger, you're a game now. Oh, really? I feel like that's the case. Okay. And you're like, "Curb Champions, no homosexuals." Is this resonating with any of the games back home? I wonder if Carms' game over here. Patements. Maybe when. Daddy, can we go play some Patements? Maybe when we're all allowed outside properly again, we can kind of try and introduce it over here. Would we? Is that a game you can play in quarantine? No, because if you went outside and met your friend, you're still two meters away from each other, right? But you're meant to be going out for your walk, not playing a game of carbs, right? Right, right. You know what? Again, another thing we can look forward to, guys? Curbs. Game of carbs with your friends? See, is that all bad? It's not all bad. Okay, like, highlight some of my week. Like, the sun is definitely amazing. Yeah. But there was definitely been some low, like, twice. Which are? People tagging me in those fucking challenges. Oh, my God. Go on away with your challenges. Like, all great that you raise the money for charity and stuff. Obviously, we love that. We love it. Yeah. Like, do all the charity fundraising bits. But like, when I say enough for Instagram, I didn't say any contract that I will have to go fucking run 5K a day, like, I might have to scroll and just like, picture as they. Yeah, like, I got nominated in the 5K one the other day, and I was like, oh my God. And then I just felt like, I felt like, like a bad person because I'd manner do it. And I was like, I could just donate the money, but then I was like, I'm kind of doing nothing better. I'll just do it. But like, I would think that I'm kind of into my fitness a bit, right? Yeah. And I kind of enjoy the art run. I remember the last time I probably ran there was last summer. I don't mind doing it if my mom's house or if the weather's nice, running down with a prom. No, I hate running. I hate as I laughed at it the day. Anyway, I did the 5K. I have no concept of distance. I thought it was going to be grand because I've seen all these people come up with my feed who I was like, oh, well, they're doing a 5K and it's only taking them however many minutes. They're doing a 5K and they look very unfit. So like, I can definitely do that as you were thinking. Well, my sister did it and she wouldn't be mad into it. No, she wouldn't be mad into her fitness. So I was like, yeah, she knew that. But I was like, if she can do it, then I'd be grand. And I was like, oh, and I kind of took her time as kind of a benchmark. Yeah. And I think she didn't like 28 or something. So I was like, oh, I might be able to do, I don't know. Sheave a bit off that anyway. I was dead. And then I down ordered like, just running after, tell us who has your go on. Like, how far are you from? After each kilometer. And I honestly was running for ages. So long. Like, I was on the opposite side of the traffic. And they just waited one kilometer reached. And I was like, what? I was like, nearly getting sick. So I was like, I need to do another four. Nor fuck that. Don't put me down for care, do you know? I'm sorry. If someone tags me in that, I'll donate five quid from the comfortably on bed. I'd spray myself with the thing I used to water my plants next to it. I put my thing on my hands up in a five. And then fucking say thanks. Surely there are some people doing that, isn't there? Because have you seen all the hype? People laying about their tigmas and everything. Saying they're being new, saying bold. Like water bringing spirits. Loads of bringing spirits up in the gap, fighting the uptab. But then there's also loads of nominations. Like, we got tagged in one the other day. Like, people attacking the podcasts in nominations as well. That's the most chaotic thing. Someone tagged us in like this raw egg challenge. And I go, I'm sorry, no babe. I'm not eating raw egg for no other day. No, imagine us catching Saminella off the egg. I don't, I think you can actually do a right. Don't can you? Like, people do like, do that in the films. I think you can actually-- Like, showbucky energy. I think my brother used to do what Aronjus back in the day when he was kind of skinny and wanted to get bigger. Like-- I don't know why, surely there's easier means. Is there a flex on the challenge? Like, can I poach the egg? [LAUGHS] Can I put it on some avocado toast? I don't mind doing it then. Like, I'll do the challenge then. Yeah. That's a half to be raw. OK, I think we need to cover the challenge. That's like, you less physically draining. Yeah, and that's like, you know, somewhat rewarding. Because like, I've had shin splints since the run last week. I'm not even joking. I've had to roll out my legs. OK, so we need to do a challenge that is into going to enjoy your patella. [LAUGHS] OK, let's brainstorm for a second. OK. [MUSIC PLAYING] OK, we have it. Oh my god, girl, it's we have it. And it's a cano. OK, so we're going to log in. And then we're going to log in. hair and then they're gonna be like, "Oh my god, that's so nice, you're gonna make their day and then you're gonna donate a bit of money to a chosen charity of your choice." I love it. Tag us in the carlings. [laughs] Be sure to tag ourlings. So step one, make the tea, step two, record yourself giving it to someone, step three, donate. Amazing, easy. See, that's how you run a charity campaign. Yeah. Oh my god, I'm actually obsessed with it. I know. And as well, like, the person who's making the tea is making someone feel better by making someone a cup of tea. It's not too physically demanding. Yeah. And then the person getting the tea is weak as well. And then the whole of Ireland is drinking the cup of tea. Oh my god, unreal. But I suppose my man be drinking the tea anyway. Like, if someone's to make her another cup, it's going to be great for her. Do you know what I mean? I say like, she's not getting a lot of sleep. But you can do like, decaf as well. You can do decaf. You can do decaf. Actually, that's great. I love it. Decaf. Love it. Charity challenge. Charity challenge. I love her emotional. You're getting these days. I was just getting a bit emotional with that. Why doesn't it? It's a bit weird. Kevin's doing this thing lately because of Quar and he's just tearing up with everything. Oh my god. Why was there something I cried out today? There's a new show coming out on Netflix about two elderly lesbian lovers. Oh my god, I saw that trailer. And it was just the trailer and I was in floods and I was crying kind of to row. I was like, "Oh my god, I saw that trailer." And it was just the trailer and I was in floods and I was crying kind of to row. It's bearing a mind. It's only two and a half and it's long. But at the end, they ask one of them to say, "What does she mean to you?" And she gets all choked up and honestly, I was just bawling in my room. No, I was doing the back end and I was bawling. Oh no. But I love it. I feel it's so cathedic. I love crying. You know the way there used to be so much shame and I cried when you were younger as well. I used to cry loads. Sometimes I'd be playing football and because my dad was like my coach. And if he was denying me or if he was just being kind of annoying. And I thought he used to get pure annoyed. I used to just stack crying. Oh really? And I thought it was so bad. No, that's just like a sore loser. That's what I was essentially. But I used to just walk off and I used to just cry in the car. I love at birthday, some people said it crying and then they'd be like, "I'm not crying because I'm sad. I'm crying because I'm angry." Or the people who used to try and pass it off as hay fever. It's like, "Pace!" Oh there was one fellow in our class who used to be like, "Forever crying." Which is great. Boys cry too. Boys get sad too. Yeah. But he used to be always crying. He'd be like, "It's my hay fever." And I remember like, "Vave is the height of winter." It does not pollinate. "Pave, what's the pollen count? Have you chanked?" Did your hay fever react to trauma? Because I think you need to start through your shame. Exactly like. But it's good to cry girls. Oh yeah, babe. What are you doing? Some days I'm like trying to sketch you all on my cry. I'm okay. I've got serious and I watch that film and hopefully I cry before I 10 and I feel sleep a little bit. I like that about like, night's out and going drinking. And then the day after if I'm hungover, I do like to just, because I like to start my weaker fresh. And I feel like the cry on a Sunday eve is usually good for me. I usually be able to cry for like two years after my dad died. And I was all very dectored and there. But like, it was really hard because I just felt like, because I couldn't cry at the time. I felt really guilty afterwards. And then I just didn't cry at anything. So it was two years. And then we were in the cinema, me and Jose. And the Christmas little ad for it came on. So the ad for it is about this grand ad who is, his wife has passed away. And he, though all having Christmas dinner and he looks at the scene next to him and it's empty. That's what his wife used to see. And then his granddaughter sits in it. Next thing like holds on to just watching the sad part. Me next to him. [Laughter] Oh, babe! You okay? No. And like there was once, once I said I couldn't stop. And the gate's in the park, I'm sure. But all in crying, like, that she couldn't catch my breath. Literally, because I was like two years of crying, like, coming out from the little Christmas ad for it. Oh my god. Oh, babe, that's so lovely, though. A little really does help a lot. [Laughter] A little helps a lot. So a cat phrase, right? Is it? I don't know if it is, but if it's not, it needs to be. That's like, I can't make it. Did you just come up with that on a whim? No, I think it's that trapelling like. Oh, let's check. [Laughter] Anyway! Anyway! Okay, let's get into the team. I think we should. The team for this week is. Seven Deadly Sins. Alexa? Play Bad Girls by Dana Sommer. I love it. This might one of my favourite buffs. I think this is possibly one of my favourite buffs on the wall. Name a bad abit, just Dana. It's a very long intro. That's the only thing that I'm loving. I feel like I want to turn it off. Yeah, I turn it off. I love when the whistle's. Okay, so that'd be weird. So I want to turn it off. Yeah, I'm just gonna put on the potato, I was there and I'll be like, "What?" I feel like it's kind of a glam. I think I might say same thing. Anyway, then, at the next square of chocolates, be greedy at Scrant. But be greedy, but also. No, just be greedy. Be greedy, but also Sharon's care in like. Forts in. Sloth. Was that good? I'm gonna try that one again, wouldn't it? Sloth. No way there, that was a bit too much. There. Sloth. No, what did I do? Sloth. Yeah. We're there. Sloth. That one, I like that one. Okay. As in the animal. (laughing) Like, you should go and love that animal. You never stood a chance. But is he named after the sin? Because that's just rude. (laughing) You never stood a chance? Imagine just realizing you were born a sin. But he's just chilling. Does the thing, like, they basically turn chilling into a sin? Yeah. Netflix and Sloth. (laughing) We need to start going to this. But if I'm having a two-way day, I'm sinning. Yeah. Fuck that. Who made these, none of these are real sins. Like, where shouldn't people and stuff? Yeah, where's like murder? Where's home-of-all-back attacks? Where's not serving old Macinda Barista's side of Sandwichman? These are real sins. And what they're giving us is a load of baloney. I've never said baloney in my life. That was the sin of being a baloney. The sin of baloney. And a podcast is definitely a sin. That's disgusting. Baloney's basic corn beef, isn't it? I don't know. I even get a bit weird when these people say they're a corn beef. I used to love it. I used to love it. I love it. And do you remember what was the conversation last week about poor Kenonian and we were chatting for ages? Do you remember poor Kenonian? And it was what? Unreal. And I just think it's so funny. If you're serving meat, opt your kids that's shaped as the Batman lol or like a smiley face. Or the Billy Bear Ham. The Billy Bear Ham. You're giving your kids like the. If you think about it, it's actually so weird. You're giving your kids a face made of meat to consume. It's so bizarre. So weird. It's so bizarre. But very tough. It's fucking on your sandwiches. It's so nice. So good. You know I used to eat the pack. I used to always come in after night out. I used to eat the poor Kenonian but I'd always eat the way it was. Oh, really? Like I think about it now when I eat. My sister's best friend Marissa. I spoke about it before. I used to call her every week and I love her. I used to call her into our house when we were going up just to eat our ham. She had to eat now the whole house. Anyway. Anyway, have we even spoken about being. Whatever. It's not a surname refuse to speak about it. You're just chatting. Being lazy. Have that extra hour in bed. Especially in no days. Just relax. Yeah. What kind of tyrant made these? I'm sorry. Weirdos. Next sin. Wrath. Was that good? No, I don't like this narrative. You don't like any of them? No, no, really. One second. Let me make it more animated. What? What are you doing? Rolling the art. Why did you do an accent? That wasn't an accent. It was just a. Wrath. I hate that one. That one. Okay. Okay. Is the only sin I agree with on the whole list. What is Wrath has been pure. Pure vindictive, mate. Pure vicious. Pure revenge for like. And revenge for the energy. Yeah. And being just kind of chaotic. Like, if someone runs. you wouldn't like try and forgive them, you wouldn't be venturing it back at them. Yeah, okay, I've wracked this bad. And I do try to not do that. I do try and forgive people. Yeah. One thing I do a lot is that like I forgive people but I don't forget. You're not really going to forget it, aren't you? Especially if it's something really kind of shitty. Yeah, but if you're forgiving someone to take them back or something, you will have to forget it because otherwise it's not fair to them. Yeah. Anyway, very deep. I'm trying to think at times, am I like what I was like really like revenge for like someone who's wronged me, could you think of any? I can't, it's like I can't really lash. I remember one time when I was younger and it was my like best friend at the time and I was best friends in the profession years. And um, but he used to kind of hang on with my brothers as well and was used to kind of send me a bit because I was definitely my friend. And then I remember one time my son kind of outplaying what my brothers had not me and I was a bit like well, what's the story there? He'd even knock on my door and ask me if I was coming out. Anyway, it was kind of a bit weird. My brothers, I think used to almost kind of take pleasure in the fact that they'd be like seated at my friend and I was like, well, what's going on here? Why is everyone ganging up against me? Anyway, I had some kind of old vacation with my brothers and I was like, oh, I called this fella and I was like, oh, like are you not going to complain about me instead of them? And then he told me to get bent. Oh! And I never heard that before I get bent. And I was kind of like, what the heck? And everyone was skittin' laugh and I was pure mortified as well because like my brothers were pure laughing as well. And I was like, what the heck? And then I just like ran home. I wasn't crying or anything but I was pure like annoyed. What'd you prove to mong anyway, didn't you? And I was like, bitch. Bitch, you want to get bent. I got soul, my the fucking bent. You're going to ruin the day. You told me get bent, bitch. Because I'm going to be so bent, I'm broken. But anyway, I remember it was just eating me alive. And I'd ask my dad like, what does get bent meaning and stuff and he was like, always just like, and that nice phrase or whatever. But it was the fact that he was off my brother's that made me like kind of ballistic. Yeah. So then the next day when it all. Felistic. So the next day when it all kind of like, do you do a universe? Are you rang his hose phone as was like the protocol back in the day like you'd ring their hose phone or whatever? Because I had hashed this plan. It was, it's really chaotic and actually I'd know what you're talking about because I could be anyway. So bearing in mind, seven or eight or nine don't really know what age. But he, I called him and told him more of an ass than if he wanted to play in my gaffer or whatever. Yeah. And he knocked on the door and when he opened, I just set up his frame in with the air freshener from the loop, from the toilet like, frame him all over the gaff. But I was skint laughing and then I just closed the door. But I remember and that's awful, that's actually so bad that I did it. I can't believe. But I did feel so much better after it. I felt so good after it. So you weighed him come up to your house, he knocked on the door, you opened him, just sprayed him with the orderings. Well no, with air freshener, so like the one from the Jax. Yeah. So was he like, I didn't spray him in the face or whatever. Like obviously like I wasn't me sending him in the eyes. I was just spraying his old pasta in with it. He just didn't know what was going on because he thought it was going over to play. And then I just closed the door and I was like, I wanted to see I said get paint as I closed the door. But I don't think I did. But let's just pretend I did just for that effect. That's so awful. That was ratful, wasn't it? I don't think I've done anything that chaotic since though. I'm terrified. That's all like when you hear kids like kill their cats. No, I just sprayed him. I mean it was melancholy. It was kind of actually. That's the thing it was the gesture of goodness. Yeah, exactly, you know what I mean? Okay, second last scene. envy. No way. They're all the same, but. They're all the same. All the way I'm doing it. Yeah. Oh. But yeah, but I like the way I'm doing it. It needs to be like envy. Yeah, but I think like the people are expecting me to be pure like stage you're building that. What about envy? Like look at her. Envy? Actually, no, this is actually another real sin. Rattan envy. Rattan envy are definitely sins and they. Yeah. Well, but also you can't actually help when you're envious of someone. Obviously you can try and like put it out with your head and like try not to like compare yourself or whatever, but also like if someone's looking pure and real or if someone like I don't know has a real close or if someone gets an unreal haircut or has an unreal fella and I'm envious. I can't just be like, oh well, I'm not going to be envious now. I'm going to stop feeling this. Yeah, I used to get really envious and jealous of people when I was young and I really had to learn how to like Quelless because it was it made me such a lonely person. Really? I was really bad at primary school like me and Jordan meant for this play together and like he got the like the role as a scare and I was so jealous that like I bullied him for like weeks. Like I was so mean to him. Like I made loads of people like me mean to him. It was actually so mean. Really? Like it was the meanest I've ever been. I'm not proud of it. Really? So are we Jordan, I love you. All because of the Disney franchise. I know. It's not crazy. Disney made me a bitch. I'm trying to think of envy like I wouldn't think I'm envious to the point where I'm like getting bad. Don't want to boast something. Yeah. Sometimes I have like gaff envy. Like I love our gaff. Yeah. You know the way sometimes you see inside people's gaffs and you're kind of like oh they're just quite annoying. I don't think that's like proper envy. I think envy is only like bad when it like makes you mean. So like I was mean in that instance. Yeah. Okay because you envy. Yeah. The role. So like there's sometimes a new hair if people talking about someone and I'm like in my head when they're talking to me I'm like you're just jealous. I used to envy the lands who used to place higher than me in the fish match. I used to wreck my head because I used to put in so much work for it. And as well you know what? The fish match is actually so stupid and I'm calling it out here and now. And I want to do a scathing expose on it. Because what? I don't know what the fish match is. Oh sorry. So basically it's like they call it the fish match you festival I think. But it's basically like an ass kind of thing that they do in cork. For loads of gay people. And harsh people. It's a harsh gay festival. No it's not basically like because I'm an experienced Ramonizen younger like we used to do poems for the fish match you. But it's kind of like a competition. But you used to have to prepare two poems but you suddenly get to do the second poem if you got a recall. But I'd be like the second poem was always my strongest and I used to never get the recall. When do that first then? Everyone had to do the first poem first and also even that in the sense like the poor parents must have been going brained in the audience. Listen to every child get up and say the same poem. And there are the most stupid poems as well. I went to this fish match you think once in my whole life and I feel like I could have ran head first at the wall. It was that boring. Really? It was so boring. So the analogy like watching paint dry it should be changed to watching the fish match you if that boring. I've never ever in my whole entire life went to something as boring as the fish match you. But I used to be so envious of the fellows who used to get the recall. Okay, last thing. I can't believe this is actually one. Pride. Do we need to whisper at the pride one? I've done it for the six like you've just been weird for the two. Hey, do we need to whisper at the pride? I didn't know what we need to do it. It's just tough that delivery of that one. Pride, that's on the forebake. That's on the forebake, bitch. No wonder the same we're going to go to hell. No wonder they say we're sinners when we are festivals named after one of the sins. Exactly, like who decided the pride was a sin? So I mean, if I'm confident I'm suddenly a sinner. What the heck? Fuck that. Nah, this is bullshit. Nah, that's it when I'm going to talk with that one. We're going to reevaluate the list I feel and create our own list. Yeah, let's create our own list to sins. Guys, pride is not the same. No. Well, but in what I'm trying to think of one instance, they're referring to pride. Like, is it like complete narcissism, is it? I don't know. But also, take pride in your appearance. Yeah, girls. Like if you're looking fucking gorgeous. Yeah. Like, honest. Be proud, babe. Be proud of it. There's no sin in pride. But as well, if you're not like apologising to someone because of your pride, I think that's when it gets to me. That's what I'm trying to think of. That's kind of sinny, isn't it? Get over yourself then. I kind of love sinny. Sinny? Pure kind of sinny. Pure sinny, babe. Pure sinny energy. People hate us. I hate myself, I think. Is that a sinny? Oh my god, if you just did something pure bad in the day and I got, oh my god, that is sinny. That's pure sinny, isn't it? Okay, so for those of you who have committed one of the deadly sins in the past and your conscience is still eating your pulverite, what we've done is we create the Confessions Board for you guys to write into us. Tell us your chaotic confessions just to get it off your chest so it's no longer like getting you down. And then what we're going to do is we're going to give you your penance. Yeah. Tabs out of you from all your sins. Queue the Angelus. Lad, we got so many confessions. I was loving it. I was loving the tea was piping hot. I brought my fingers, right? So first confession on the list is in college I lived with four girls, two of which were non-stuff pactiors. One night they brought back the pacti to our house. The other two girls on myself were offered to 60 and because of the pacti. I was raging so in the morning on my way to college, I saw one of the girls phones on the kitchen table. I sold a phone on a pettiness and never gave a back. I threw it away but after
After that I lost three phones consecutively so that was my camera. Oh. Oh. She saw on her phone. Imagine just picking up the phone off the counter and just throwing it away. That's bad bitch energy. I'm sorry. I have to respect it. I can't believe it. You have to respect the flex. Imagine how walking over the house, walking down the road and just throwing it in the beam. And having a giggle to herself. That is kind of crazy, isn't it? That's all fine. But I kind of love it. What could be the penance for that? That's a big chaotic in my book. That is a big chaotic. What could be her penance? Okay. Okay, so your penance is you have to sing born this way by Lady Gaga at five times. Perfect. Okay, kind of loving this one, right? Okay, so this says, "Ladies, you will do it this." So pure nonsense, storing here and over the way, loving that. And she goes, "And I like." When I was in primary school we had to pay 50p every week for the heating. What? What? Was that not included in your animal fees? I don't know. Anyway, so I thought as a pure business woman at that age, 50p, I'll save that. So I kept it for myself. After a few weeks anyway, my mom found this, snooping through my room. And when I came home from school, she went, "Where did you get all this money from?" So I said it was the money for the heating. And she said, "Well, why didn't you give it?" And I said, "Well, like, I've never called." That's a kind of. So instead of being mad, she did what Mam knows best and she took me down to town to spend this? Yeah! I love that! I love that the man was pure like, "Actually, this is a kind of behavior." No, we're taught you to be chaotic for the rest of your life. That's a teaching you any lesson. You were being rewarded for your pepped chaos, but like. And baby, weren't cold because everyone else was paying the heating bill. We have to stand though, don't we? Do she get a penance? What's the penance? You've got off scuff-free, babe. Yeah, we actually kind of love this. But you're mad at some of the nice because she was such a legend in this scenario. Yeah, that's your penance. Yeah. Okay, so this was kind of sad I just broke my hair to bits. What are you doing? Okay, listen, so I'm a 24-year-old girl and I've never kissed anyone, let alone gotten the right. I don't know how this has happened. I've friends and I'm sociable. I don't have a clue how it's gotten to this point and it's getting me down so much. It's a city I've been longing for, I guess, is an understanding. It's not even that it feels social pressure or anything. I just really wanted for myself. I'm not comfortable confiding in my friends about this and the advice. Oh, bless us. What age does she say she was? She's 24 and she's never kissed anyone or obviously not had sex because I would just been awkward with anyone. Yeah, but like, oh, that's a tough one. That's all hair, though. I mean, if it's any constellation, I didn't kiss a fella till I was 21. Yeah, but like the thing is usually you'd expect to know if I was reading that of like, or she's in Pindalogharmage or something. Yeah. She's saying she's quite sociable and she has friends and stuff but she's just like longing to be kissed. I think maybe because you're 24, maybe you're building it up in your head to be bigger than it actually is and you're kind of, that's why there's a bit of anxiety around the whole thing. I think just like, like get it out of the way. But also you're in a position where you can be like, oh, I can make my first kiss really special. Yeah, and like, I think try and take it as a constant. And if you do have a friend that's really close to you, it might be nice to tell them, so they can support you in this. But also though, there's no like, rush, but it either. I know you're probably thinking God, everyone around me is doing this. And like, I should get a move on. But also, it's not as if you're not going to be kissing anyone for the rest of your life. Yeah, you know what I mean? And when it's meant to happen, it will. Yeah, it will happen. Okay, so your penance is to blow a kiss at three people, you fancy, you're under me. When you're out on your walk. In that iconic, because you just said it's going. That's going to make them want to kiss you as well, isn't it? But don't because I'll see coronavirus, but actually this is over. Yeah, kiss away. Kiss away. Yeah, exactly. And as well, everyone's going to be mad for kissing once this is over. So, yeah, you'll be sorted. That was more of an advice section. Yeah, it wasn't a profession. Ah, blesser. Back to the confessions. Okay, so loving this one. So this person says, "When to inter-ailing the first summer after college, met an Australian lad in a nightclub, he was like something from home and away. Oh, I love that." Went back to his hostel dorm and started having sex. He was very vocal and some lad in the room next door even came knocking on the door telling us to keep it down. Da, da, da. Anyway, halfway through sex, he was like, "Oh, speak to me in Irish." I was blaming and couldn't think of anything other than the iron-ah-her. Which, for those of you who don't know what that is, it's the R-Fother prayer in Irish. So she got so excited after him, where so he was writing him. He was, he was your week for me thinking I was pure ex-adding. See you in Hellengarly's. I love that, that is. I love seeing Hellengarly's. That's brilliant. I just can't stop picturing, or on top of him being like, "Oh, no, guitar and air." Oh my God, he's like, "Keep going, keep going." I do think Irish is pure 60, so I can't watch a man who has gone with it, but how funny? That's so funny. I would have had a good ear in Lairis. But like, you'd have to sustain a thing, like, you would go into a prayer though, wouldn't you? You would. Anyway, your penance is the iron-ah-her. How many times? You've just sing it. I used to love, and the priest got a bachianna, can you say to sing it at Mass Rodin's, eh? Oh my God, yeah, and you have to sing it 69 times. Yeah. Skitting at this one, right? We're skitting at all of it. Because they're brilliant. So one of my housemates was super homophobic. She used to serve so much shade to homeless and said, "All gays are self-obsessed and narcissistic." What? Yeah, yeah, but you're not allowed to say it. It's if you're not gay. She also said that some people choose to be gay for attention. Oh my God. I was triggered, so I had the biggest, narcissistic birtheparty where everyone had to dress up as their favourite portion of me, and I had it in our house. Oh my God, that's so kind of. Also, just before I moved out, I stole loads of her makeup brushes and products, since there were like five other girls in the house. She never expected it was me, because she didn't know I was an up-and-coming mua, James Chad's each her character, honey. Got away with it to this day. Never fuck with an insta gay, honey. Oh my God. I love it. I love it. That she was saying that they're so narcissistic and self-obsessed, and he was like, "Oh really? I'm having a birthday party all about me." All about me, fuck on. And then the pain brushes, that is a bicarbonate grabbing all our bits, but I said to them, "I really love this." You were really like wrathful there, weren't you? Okay, so this one says, "When I was 13, I was discovering my sexuality as a little gay boy, and I had the biggest crush on a close friend. One night at a sleepover with girls and boys from our class, that was going to be the kind of character they were having to make sleepover for. Right. We weren't really lonely with that. Anyway, and I thought they'd be doing it anyway, but I would have loved to sleepover with the girl at least. I love a girl when I'm 18. We were never alone. Well, I probably just didn't ask. And I'm with the conversation. Anyway, one night at a sleepover with girls and boys from our class, I was sleeping next to him. I remember trying to covertly give him a smooch in his sleep. Should we be waiting days? Oh! And I'm still mortified to this day. Not just because it's embarrassing, but because it's such dodgy behavior. I'm glad you read the last sentence. Yeah, I'm glad you read the last sentence. You're dodgy ways. But all two were targeting. But all two were targeting, and you were just like, it's kind of cute like you're kind of. I don't think it's a big deal. Yeah, I thought like very sexual harassment. I was a hormonal teenage boy. God, help me. Anyways, now he's one of the most up-and-coming musicians in Ireland, giggling away at Hallman Abroad and doing spots on TV and all, cringing even ravenous, but whatever, all in the name of spilling some tea. I love it. That's some good gateies. I can't believe he kissed our McKennazine. Oh my God, you're wrecking his thermos. It definitely is. Oh my God. I was thinking maybe Horthier. Oh. Any of us? Is that his name, Horthier? Horthier, yeah. Is that the name of the band? Not Horthier, it's his name, right? Is this? Oh my God, it's take me to charge you about you. Next conversion. Or what's his penance? Oh, penance. Um. Could you our gay man, this is penance, you have to watch Peaky Blinders? Yeah. Oh my God, that's a good one. Sorry, like. I wish I could get into it, but I can't. It's just two, hetero. It's a bit too hetero. I mean, I love Kilium Murphy, but. Yeah. I can't get into it. So yeah, that's your penance. That's your penance, babe. Oh my God, Kev, this is very you energy. Why? Okay, listen to this. Hi guys, I remember when I was in fifth class in primary school and everyone in my class was obsessed with Stairdahl and the class bully would always be telling us how her house and clothes were so much better than everybody else's. So long story short, myself and two of my friends made a fake profile on Stairdahl and a lad to basically capture and to having an online relationship that she tell us about every day in school. We'd be pissing ourselves on halfing afterwards, listening to her tell us about the romantic messages he'd sent her and really it was just us getting together to get revenge. She never found out it was us. Love you. Oh, I love you. Really? She was the class bully. She was the class bully, so like, but also, was she? We should just take their warrant for it, you know what I mean? Okay, was she gave us her name? She's not even ashamed. We're gonna end you. What's her penance? What's her penance? Okay, so your penance is you have to go into your kitchen and just move and then if your family asks you like, what are you doing? You can't explain why you just move. That's your penance. Go move in the kitchen, babe. Okay, so this one says, one time I was on my period and my boyfriend says, "Ah, his sister was using the shower and I really, really needed to take a poo." But there was only one bathroom in the house and period poo's name were on a whole new level of
I need to go and basically I shit myself and it was what and it was so obvious like in its tiny box room on his ass the sheets and I had to blame and I had to blame his little pomeranian dog what? Shiny if you shit yourself in the Memphis item they kind of know it wasn't his dog like it was different stairs and it's like like human shits looks way different to a dog poo she just like run down and grab the dog and like just bring him up to the bed and then poo and maybe like oh my god look what he's done that's a big chaotic oh my god what's our pen in? what's our pen in? okay so your penins for that is you need to purchase some ass nose sheets for the picture and have them in your bedroom what a laugh you can shit them all you want next confession okay so myself and my grandmother have always been very close I used to go to her house every day after primary school and she had an old nucky a blockier phone that I used to be obsessed with and used for like playing snake or texting my friends etc. anyway I was at her phone in the bathroom and didn't know dropping in the toilet in a pure moment of panic, fright or flight etc. I just grabbed it, droid it and returned it to where I got it evil evil I know but I was like a leaven and fearful of getting a beaten from the parents a few days passed and my grandmother said that she taught her phone had gotten some water damage and was thinking it was due to the holy water in her bag and that maybe she forgot to close it properly that's so cute like bless her the innocent she said lads like honestly just definitely couldn't on up to them and 12 years later I'm still besties with her and she is none the ways are and I often lay awake at night with the guilt for my chaotic youth eating away at me safe to say I was sneaky chaotic bitch I love this that is pure sneaky isn't it? I thought it was a fella at the set up but I actually think it's a girl now it could be anyone could it it could be anyone walk at the end of their pennies I don't know put your head in the toilet no that's too far that's too bad I give yourself a swirly can we tell them do that no I think that's a bit too chaotic maybe buy your nonsome really nice like fancy like holy water from lord you probably get a language yeah oh get a regorge fund yeah I get a nice funny bits okay what as well I feel like that's something you can tell your name now and she'd be fine with it you can laugh about it I think she could laugh about it yeah that's your pennies yeah tell the truth tell the truth is your pennies bitch okay so this one is the height of chaos but not just in the act also in her delivery okay I don't know who it is but she says when I was in my early 20s I was giving my then boyfriend no ex a BJ and his new apartment in the bedroom he was sitting at the end of his bed and I was on my knees I see you too and his telly fell off the wall and nearly flattened me fell right on my head and I nearly bit his dick off oh so I so I know like to confess if his no wife that the scare on his willy is my fault and I hope every time my ex looks at it he thinks of me lots of love your husband's ex and then there's a lot of waving emojis and she just says buying and then there's the lips emoji which has sent me but I love it this is chaos that's chaotic the fella should be scared oh my god I love it at the same time I love it also you probably couldn't put in a claim about the like telly falling off the wall though I suppose not if he put it off himself look at you all trying to claim I say I say her ex-nil is pure allergic to blowjabs and every time he's getting a blowjabs he's like having flashbacks yeah PTSD oh my god what's your penance not in your bed bitch you're not getting any penance we love to see it you already got a slap of a telly like giving her a penance it'd be so rude oh my god listen to this I had an affair with a man 20 years my senior and today I got invited to his wedding go bitch that's scandalous isn't it that is kind of scandalous what how how are they involved with the coppola she got my big invited to the wedding how does that work yeah like I wonder does did he invite her or was it like is she a bad wife's team so many questions oh my goodness what's her penance and what we're saying horror but I could be a man oh yeah it could be a fella yeah yeah skating expose then he like he could be going to his wedding as in like would not they're going oh my god I didn't even think of that yeah of course oh my god no didn't skate in our heads and adds more of a dimension yes but come ten times juicier now that it's a man well it could be a man is a man we need more details we've decided it's a man okay so your penance is you have to go to the wedding in full morning outfit yeah good morning the death of a person yeah you have to wear like yeah pure black full veil full veil like Beyonce's hat from formation the big black one and draw a fake tear on your face oh yeah like you mourned as someone in prison yeah kind of that but actually you just had an elicit affair with this man I love it is it elicit what's elicit I don't know you had an elicit affair okay so I think this is my favorite one that we received so my first day of uni when I was 19 I went out and ended up getting in a three song with bass hunter and he made me finger his bum when he shanked a girl on my knee oh my god what that is just a new level is it a whole new dimension to the know your gansan oh my god bass hunter he made you finger his bum what I kind of that's my favorite bass I love that chaos imagine him just like say that you were just like I love that you were so afraid but then he was right in the car and on her knee how does that even work so like she was sitting down I said trust I said the car was on top for she must have had an awful dead legs afterwards your pins and needles and he just goes and then she just lick the finger up how did she know he was bass hunter I would know it was bass hunter if I ran into would I probably after a gig or something he probably before me at their freshers parents you or something would he have been I'm so I'm actually my friend Susan met bass hunter on a beach in magnif I think she finger his ass but she was pure hungover and she was just like doing on the beach and she was like walking up like to get like an ice cream or some of the shop and she was soul and then she just she like glasses on you know what the best is just her telling of this story and she goes and I just put down my glasses and I go oh that's your face on dad and she was walked away how funny that Susan with the baddest from season one oh my god so bass under lots of finger in the palm that's good that's good isn't it good that is scathing isn't it your penance is you must dance to know your gun via Instagram live yeah you must do it and like just do it come off the live and just leave it at that no explanation no one is going to know and we want the dance to be very finger based dancing just dance to your fingers actually oh you know what it is we're going to have to leave it at last let's leave it there we're not going to tap it so girls there was like so many confessions we had like over 150 that's crazy isn't it I was like boss we could only access 40 of them because this stupid survey monkey thing told us we have to pay 100 quid a month if we want to see the rest of the responses yeah because we have to upgrade to a premium to see all the responses so we can only see 40 it was so annoying because they didn't tell us this when we set it up but oh no it would have really made us like reconsider our choice and I know we're ending that possibly of ever doing a sponsorship with survey monkey like you're fucking shit what are you up to so like there's a hundred so if we didn't get you you probably sent him goals yeah exactly and you're like why the heck isn't mine being called dude you know what I mean we couldn't see it so what we're going to do because we think this is like kind of we want to say introducing this on the reg I think I'm the reg and as well I just got so much enjoyment from reading them me just up on the roof they're like half way through the day yesterday reading them all over the week I love it it's like having all the best bits from a take a break oh my god that's exactly it's a take a break but like Irish addition oh you love it and as well it's nice because I feel like it makes me feel like more at ease about like badge should I do is that I know everyone does like funny badge and get in stupid situations that are embarrassed about so it's kind of like it kind of normalizes it as well yeah and I feel completely absolved of like spraying my neighbor with the air freshener there's so much better about that other people are away worse so what we're gonna do because obviously there's so many we didn't get to we're gonna figure out a way to let you still anonymously submit but not make us bankrupt because we'd have to pay our hundred million yeah exactly we'll find another site or something surely some of the take us yeah and then you have obviously people who we haven't called it already just resubmit your confession please resubmit them because we know after anything like fingering based on during the whole that they're gonna be funny I love it also sorry man make sure to wander at the set of this episode yeah sorry man okay so moving on to man north band the section we love I love it because it's like we're chatting to our mans yeah it's got nice like that isn't it anyway my man's question did
week was hey guys my man suffers greatly with depression and anxiety and since the lockdown she's begun relying heavily on alcohol any time I to bring it off she gets defensive how do I approach such a sensitive subject with my man what do you say it's a tough one isn't it? I know your man is getting another tough one this year isn't she? no I'd say as well this could be something that a lot of people are struggling with the moment because they're like they have been talks unlike the news and stuff about people like turning to alcohol yeah just till I pass the day but anyway my man said the difficulty in replying to this question is that one I'm not qualified enough really and two thankfully I don't suffer from or have to live with depression anxiety on a daily basis but I can certainly empathize with the huge struggle people have with their mental health and all the restrictions now that the coronavirus springs with it adding to all anxieties I find myself having a few drinks every couple of nights since the lockdown whereas in general it would be sadly night run special occasions you seem so worried about your man and you need to tell her maybe she doesn't realize how her drinking is impacting on your fears and worries about her health so however you approach this conversation I really hope what you say and the way you say it will make a difference kiss that's perfect isn't it? yeah I think it's really succinct I think she's right in the sense that like it's it's difficult for her to like give proper guidance on the like the specifics of the situation yeah because obviously this is something like she's going through with her mom and also like she's not a professional you know what I mean yeah yeah sometimes heard when we're trying to advise and stuff when we don't see the full picture but what like the official man gave us so solid yeah yeah definitely something we should take on board yeah and what I would also say is like just if it is something that like you're struggling with more or you feel like you need like more guidance on it like looking after someone like who's like in a distress state like that can be quite like overwhelming for you you know what I mean yeah it could be so daunting on yourself as well as you need to make sure you're looking after yourself as well as yeah after your man and I would say like thanks so much for like sharing this with us because I do believe and one of the things that I love about this section is I believe that like I probably shared as a problem have yeah so hopefully this will be a bit of a way to offer shoulders but also don't be afraid to like get some like professional advice on it by like you know taking a look at the Samaritans website and I know they have a help line as well which we conclude in the episode description in the episode description and stuff for you but thanks so much for reaching out to us and hopefully my man was able to shed a bit of light on the situation yeah and if anyone's listening and they're kind of feeling the same guys just know you're not alone and yes and there is such good help of their life Samaritans is amazing so we will link them in the description yeah exactly okay so my man's question is how do I deal with starting my parties and still being single okay okay so new the carbs come through my my favorite agony and dear listener I'm amazed at the reaction from young adults like yourself when you turn party you're panicking over nothing you are still so young and you have achieved so much up until now in time when life gets back to normal look at what you have to offer in a relationship and keep focusing on your positive treat be nice to yourself as this is how people see you but also just enjoy being party as you will soon have other commitments best wishes to all my 30 year old I love that love news I love that sign off I love best wishes to all my 30 year olds I love the whole advice yeah the whole lot of it especially the bit where she said be kind to yourself yeah because like don't be creating this undue pressure for yourself like to be in a relationship you know what I mean it's gonna happen yeah and as well like if you keep thinking just like always there's something wrong with me that I'm not going out with someone and I'm tarty I'm like number one tarty is young girls when I'm 15 anymore tarty tarty is like young yeah tarty tarty yeah literally it's called tarty tarty for a reason you wrote an other screen tarty flatty and thriving and and then just be know you have to be nice to yourself because if you're like all there's something on me and like you're panicking you're trying to get a fella trying to get a girlfriend that's it never happens no it always happens when you least expect it don't get caught up in your head about like all I'm tarty and I need to find someone like I've an uncle who only came out in his forties and he's with the lovers life so exactly you can find love on whatever age or does people know who are finding love on whatever age in their life yeah my mom and dad got together way later in life exactly and they've all had kids and everything when they had me and Lindsay so like it can happen at any stage girl have it any stage when you least expect it's Cooper's gonna come over smack you on the bottom of his iron you'll be pure like watch us out for and it's because he's making you father love you got a metric been oh samlin oh sinking oh for a gig for a gig clumsy clumsy girl no troll on after the podcast and hanker slayer I love clumsy as a spin track I can't wait to go back spinning really I can't wait to be in like a room of like you know what I mean and just play in the music this and you're like bits cycle my bike and pure energy bits I love it you know what I mean anyway okay girlie so that was a podcast a confession what are you gonna say okay girlie so that was a podcast that's how you punk that's girlie that's how you like that yeah hope you enjoyed the episode hope you have a lovely Sunday hope it's very awesome and if there's anything you take away from this girl is call a pajamas not lemon swear I was gonna say don't be having yourself don't be hiding yourself either yeah we're all human just like while doing our best this is unprecedented times just live your life exactly and if you're not really heartening one your grand everything else is like insignificant as long as you're a nice person and heart your grand and if long as you're making yourself happy don't be like I should be doing this should be doing that fuck that's enjoy your day loves it babe I think I'm pure breaching bit breaches isn't I don't know you're not losing to us either yeah exactly you could we just see we just have rambling at the end because we don't know all the way to rap but all but anyway that's all for now bye girlie take care of your sins bye have a good day girls bye bye and do your penance bye bye
