The podcast features a lively, reflective discussion about a recent cruise trip that brought together comedians, fans, and friends for an unforgettable, chaotic, and deeply emotional experience. The hosts recount vivid moments such as drinking games, karaoke, belly flops, and late-night parties, emphasizing the fun, spontaneity, and nostalgia that define their shared youth. Amid the humor, there are heartfelt reflections on community, belonging, and personal growth, especially as the group reconnects with their roots and each other. The cruise becomes more than a vacation—it's a celebration of freedom, camaraderie, and the joy of unscripted moments. Throughout the episode, product promotions are subtly woven in, including Underdog betting, Air Tasker for household tasks, MyBo for eye health, and BetterHelp for mental wellness. These tie-ins serve both as entertainment and as practical tools that reflect the show’s theme of finding balance and relief in daily life. The narrative underscores how small, shared experiences—like a belly flop or a casual conversation—can create lasting connections and personal meaning, especially in adulthood when life feels more structured. The episode ends with a tone of gratitude and excitement for future adventures, reinforcing the belief that human connection and joy remain vital, even in the face of chaos.

Welcome to This is Important,
a production of iHeartRadio,
the show where we only talk about
what's the most important thing in life.
This is an important, bottom line,
critical thing happening on this planet.
Today on This is Important.
The wheels were all the way off,
but they were all the way on as well.
Why would I even show up and do my job?
I'm going to pretend like I'm drunk
because that's kind of the respect I'm getting.
I got to put on my TV chain.
Buckle up.
Yes.
Oh, man.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh.
Let's see.
Oh, my God.
And I'm feeling good.
Is that true?
Hell, yeah.
Hey, guys, welcome back to land.
Holy smokes.
Yeah.
Land ho.
We're on dry land, baby.
Oh, my God.
Blake, I'll say I was toning you off pot a second ago,
but you were really the MVP of that cruise ship.
You really were.
Oh, my gosh.
It took a lot out of me.
It was a blast, though.
My God.
Have you guys fully recovered from the. The cruise we went on, like, fully?
How long ago?
Fully?
Seven, ten days?
Yeah, I have.
Yeah, I think we're at about seven or ten days.
Yeah.
Yeah, it took four days, I would say,
for me to feel like a real human again.
Real.
Because we're old now, right?
We're in our 40s.
Yes, yes.
We're no longer young men.
Damn near 50.
Hello!
And I don't drink the way. I'm such a bitch.
I don't drink the way I used to.
Come on.
And it really. It put me on my heels a little bit.
And if you're just listening, Adam's crying.
Right.
Those hangovers. It's a moment.
But you had to start right back up.
That was the trick.
That was the trick.
Yeah.
That was the trick of the cruise.
I didn't have a hangover as much as I had, like,
two mornings where I was like,
hey, man, you're still drunk.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
We had to ride the line.
Well, I did the. Ride the snake.
The IV for the first time.
I did not like it.
I did not like it.
Yeah, I skipped.
I skipped on that.
See, this is. This is the crazy part is. And I did not partake because I knew that was a no-no zone.
Yeah.
And I wasn't feeling well.
Admittedly, I was not feeling that well to start the cruise.
And so night one, we land in Tampa.
And I was like, I'm just going to chill.
You know, I've got. My whole family's living with me right now.
My parents are living with me.
Obviously, my wife and my son.
So it's just a lot happening over here.
Obviously.
Not fully obvious.
Come on.
I guess it's not fully obvious.
But so. I just took the night to myself.
You did.
I laid in bed.
I watched a film.
Read scripture?
I didn't read any scripture, unfortunately.
But then. You've got to read scripture.
And then you guys went out in Tampa and had a full-on. Shots.
Night.
Yes.
What was the town we were in?
Tampa.
No, no, no.
There's a neighborhood called like. Oh, Ybor.
Ybor.
Ybor.
Ybor.
Ybor.
But it is with a Y?
Yes.
Yes, it is.
Is it Ybor?
That's what throws you.
I think it's Ybor.
People are saying Ybor.
And here's why we went there after going to dinner, which is great,
and really already kind of getting things kick-started.
And then somebody had a local friend who was like,
well, you could go to Ybor, but definitely don't be there after 1.
And we were like, all right, well, we're going there.
We're going there.
Yeah.
Somebody help me.
What's after 1?
And I think we were there till 3 or 2.30 or something like that.
Oh, yeah.
There's. I was so impressed.
Because our pickup wasn't until noon to get on the ship.
So you guys had plenty of time to recover.
Oh, it was awesome.
I'm so glad we went there.
It was a trip.
Wild bar.
Yeah.
Wild bar.
Don't really. The revolution?
The revolt?
What was it called?
It was like Cha-Cha 2000.
Explain Cha-Cha 2000.
Okay.
Explain what that means and explain what the vibes were.
I heard a lot of talk about how it was. Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
It was basically the French Quarter in New Orleans.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Very similar.
We were on our Shia shit for sure.
And it's all like pirate themed, right?
Meets Vegas.
Meets Vegas, I would say.
Because people were like actually dressed up.
Whereas like New Orleans, people look like they might have just crawled out of the bayou.
The sewer.
So it's like that mentality with just like a little bit more intention.
It's still Florida.
It's still Florida.
Yeah.
It's like Miami drainage.
It was fucking cool, dude.
Like there's lines for clubs and stuff.
Right.
And were you guys like, hey, what's up?
Let me in the club.
And they're like, you're old now.
You can't come in this club.
No, you didn't go to the place that had the lines.
Although these lines were a little scary for me.
Women were naked.
Oh, what?
Scantily clad.
I don't know how you describe this.
But there's a woman in line wearing like, I don't know if you call it like lace or what do you call it?
Fishnet.
Fishnet, right?
Fishnet.
I just want to party.
That's a look.
But the kind of fishnet, full body fishnet suit, but the kind of fishnet suit that is like chain link fence open.
Yes.
Do you know what I'm saying?
It looked like.
Okay.
So you could see her and her butthole.
So she was wearing just that and then a like string thong.
And okay pasty pasties up front and she's just standing in line and I'm like, you know, I didn't I didn't I didn't look I saw her from the back standing in line or she should just go in it's cold out let her in please sir did you look over the shoulder to see the front the front of it as well you can't do that you can't do that but I didn't see a back strap so I assume it was pasties it's gotta be okay I real detective work feel like if she's dressed like that you can you can yeah.
Sure.
Because she's not being she's not dressing like that and she doesn't want people to look at her.
Are you I don't know I think like these are I don't think I think this is it yeah this is this is an age old I think this is yeah this is why we this is why we have this podcast if you're dressed like that okay you want people to look at you well maybe maybe she's just into style she's into fashion do you think that's
okay if you go if you go to a nude bar are you going there for people to look at your dick or are you going there because that's where you actually feel free of societal norms you know yeah these are the questions I guess but this wasn't a nude bar right this was a clothed bar and she was coming in this was a clothed a clothed a bar it was a club it was okay it was a clothed bar I think most people had had clothes yes so I feel if
If you're dressed like that,
Like, if a guy is just, if he's there with a Borat thong, he wants people to look at him and be like, oh, my God, that guy's wearing a Borat thong.
You don't think that's a societal norm?
Yeah, that feels like a societal norm.
Like, at some point, we determined that dudes have to wear just trunks as swimsuits, but maybe it should be more accepted that we wear Borat thongs.
Right, right, right, right.
I'm not opposed to, I'm not opposed to, and I'm also not opposed to all women wearing these chain-link fence fishnet outfit that Dirk was feeling.
If that's where society goes, I'm all for it.
It doesn't seem like that's where society's going.
In fact, I think we're-
No, that's where Tampa's going.
That's where Tampa's going.
That's why Tampa rocks.
Dude, and so then, I do think, I do think, you know, turning around is one thing.
I think it's got, you maybe even have to make it more involved, where you turn around and you go,
Renee.
Renee?
And then she looks up and you go, sorry, I thought you were somebody I work with.
Enjoy your night.
I work with is so funny.
Renee!
Because you assume, like, you want her to feel like-
Normal.
She's got a job and she's normal.
Yeah, sure, sure.
But really, she's out there flapping cheeks.
Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure.
You know, because, and maybe I'm wrong, maybe she's trying to buck societal norm.
I think maybe that was her job.
Oh, you think she's like a cage dancer?
I don't know if a cage dancer as much as-
Mm-hmm.
A prostitute woman of the night.
I figured she wouldn't have been in line if she was hooking.
No, no, she wasn't hooking.
Well, they just let the hookers in.
I feel like the hookers got to stand in line like everyone else.
No, the hookers are out and walking and they pull guys out of line.
They're like, don't go in there.
Yeah, come on in.
Come over here.
You might be true.
But you don't know, maybe she was talking to a guy-
I'll stretch your dollar.
Maybe she was talking to a guy in line.
And that's what she was doing in the line.
We don't know.
You know what?
We should have talked to Renee.
Renee?
Why didn't we talk?
And by the way, it's got to be a name like that.
It's got to be a name like that.
Renee.
Isn't that what the Channel 5 guy did in New Orleans?
Wasn't that his thing before doing Channel 5 news, whatever that is?
Just approaching people?
Yeah.
He just did the Shia LaBeouf interview.
He did the Mardi Gras French Quarter.
It was French Quarter Confessions.
He was all gas, no brakes.
Yeah.
He used to be like all gas, no brakes.
That was like his original channel.
And then he started doing deep, deeper dives.
Oh, I thought he was Mardi Gras or French Quarter Confessions.
I thought that was the same guy.
Yeah, maybe.
I don't know.
Maybe.
Maybe our producers can toss us some info in the chat.
But he also would go to like crack houses or he would like go on like ride-alongs with
gangs and shit, which was kind of cool.
That's kind of cool.
We should pivot that.
Yeah.
It's Quarter Confessions, a YouTube series created by Andrew Callaghan during his time
as a student at Loyola University.
Callaghan.
Why don't you fucking marry him?
Oh, Callaghan, right?
He knows his life story.
Callaghan?
Callaghan.
Yeah.
I think that G…
Come on, man.
That's an Irish name, right?
Yeah.
Come on.
Yeah.
I biffed it, dude.
What do you want from me?
Callaghan.
Okay.
So then you guys had this wild night while I was in bed watching an old James Bond movie.
Turns out…
What did you lose?
No, it was…
Which James Bond movie did you throw on, dude?
Spire Shagman?
It was…
Octopussy.
No.
It was one of the newer ones with…
I saw Octopussy.
…with the blonde homie.
Oh, Daniel Craig.
Yeah.
With Daniel Craig.
But you said old.
Yeah, that's not old.
Yeah, it's old.
It was like 2015.
I was thinking like Dr. No.
Whatever that one was.
I forgot.
I forgot.
You're 25.
Yeah.
Yeah, but I mean, 2015, that's a long time ago now.
We're talking…
Yonder.
Yonder.
…years ago.
Thunderball.
Yeah.
Which is nuts.
Yeah.
But yeah, so then while you guys are watching…
Casino Royale.
Is that what this is?
…Wild Nights, Great Night, I was eating a Caesar…
Chicken Caesar salad.
Dunk it!
…and watching this James Bond movie.
Pretty good.
Yeah.
Turns out they're pretty action-packed, those James Bond movies.
Oh, yeah.
They're the best.
Dude, what a night.
What a night.
I'm hyped for you.
It was actually fucking…
Dude, it was sick.
I just laid in bed.
I put on a robe.
Yeah.
Oh, nice.
I was busy fighting Atiba and Akko.
I thought about taking a bath and then didn't.
Oh, you were about to sit in a bath?
Yeah.
That's like real…
Luxury?
…like solo dad in the hotel room shit.
Like draw…
I was ready, dude.
You almost drew a bath or is it just drawing a bath?
Is there…
No, I think you can drew a bath.
Can you drew a bath?
Yeah.
Draw…
Drawn?
Drawn a bath?
Well, what do you do in the process of drawing it?
You draw it.
You drew it.
Right.
You drew it.
Have you drawn a bath?
You've drawn a bath.
Hey, it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
I was about to take a bath.
Sounds like a bath.
Thought better.
Thought better of it.
Because, you know, I feel like nothing against the hotel we were in.
I feel like it has to be the nicest hotel in order for you to get into a bath.
Sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If that makes sense.
Yeah.
And in fact…
Yes.
So, I didn't.
But then the next day, we kicked it off.
We got on the ship.
We did.
And then it was full steam ahead.
Full steam ahead.
You guys were…
We're limping in.
Isaac was legit mad at you guys.
Isaac was like, fucking idiots.
What?
Yeah.
He was mad.
I was chill.
Yeah.
I got the IV.
I was like, I had pep in my step.
I was ready to go.
We were fine.
I think you pulled it off.
He was mad before you guys came down.
Because he was like, yeah, you're the fucking smart one.
They were fucking idiots.
They went out, partied all fucking night.
Oh, wow.
And he was legit bummed.
Had to set the tone.
Had to set the tone.
You had to.
Punk rock.
Getting radical.
And then we were on the ship.
And I will say, thank you to our fans who are the greatest.
I cannot believe the support and how cool people were.
And because it could have been a nightmare, right?
Oh, absolutely.
I've talked to other comedian friends.
And they're like, so you're going to go on a ship with like 2,000 of your biggest fans?
Yeah.
Presumably.
Your biggest fans.
Yeah.
And you're stuck on this ship with them.
And I'm like…
And 20 rando cruisers who just…
Just booked a cruise.
Yeah.
The old ladies that are just fucking stragglers.
Yeah.
20 people that are like, ah, we just booked one.
But it was awesome.
And the vibes were so great.
It was fucking sick.
Met each and every one of them.
Yeah.
I think so.
We honestly, we did.
I think so.
I think I really did.
We were out and about.
I want to say thank you to…
She wrote me this nice note.
Here we go.
Okay.
Thank you to…
She goes, Adam, my Midwestern rotisserie…
Every lovin', sit her down when he pees, brother in swole.
Oh, wow.
You are a star and a night bringer?
Light bringer?
Light bringer.
It's got to be light bringer.
Night bringer is…
What is a light bringer?
I don't know.
Well, like you bring light to people.
Oh.
Right?
Oh, so maybe she's a hippie.
Because night bringer would be like you're like a vampire or something.
Night breeder?
Night breed?
Shout out to night breed.
Okay.
Maybe a light bringer.
I love you so hard.
Rock hard.
Underline.
Luggage talk for life.
No take backs.
Please don't ever stop the music.
Love Aaron, a.k.a. Darren, which is drunk Aaron.
It's science.
I like that.
That's pretty great.
And then she gave…
And I know you guys got similar necklaces, but this is my favorite.
It's actually not a necklace, Adam.
It's not a necklace.
It's not a necklace.
It's not a necklace, Adam.
What is it?
It is a belly chain.
It is a belly chain.
You're supposed to be wearing that around your belly, bro.
Yeah.
You're supposed to have that.
You're supposed to have that tied on your hips.
What?
Yeah.
But.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You got…
Those hips don't lie.
But show the camera what is dangling off.
My wife hates it because every night when we go to like watch TV as a family, my parents
are staying with us now.
I say, I got to put on my TV chain and then I put this on.
It's a bagel.
So there's a penis with a penis like a cock ring.
You're calling it your TV chain?
Yeah.
Does it have a cock ring?
Yeah.
I think it's…
It's a…
Yeah.
It's on the back of it and it goes…
Oh, shit.
I didn't know that.
Oh, dude.
I never even pulled the…
Oh, wow, dude.
Look at that.
That is so…
That's worth doing it.
Thank you, Darren Drunk Aaron.
She was sweet enough to…
We all got one.
I…
Mine's in my asshole.
And then luggage.
And then luggage for luggage talk.
Whoa.
Dude.
And look at this.
I got this shirt.
Shout out.
One of our fans gave me this.
I think we all got one.
Drink Wisconsin.
Oh, dude.
Wisconsin bleed.
Oh, yeah.
Wisconsin was out and about.
Don and a lot of mad town.
There was people from all over the place.
There were people from Argentina, right?
Australia.
Australia.
London.
A lot of Australians.
Several packs of Australians.
Scotland.
Was there some Scottish people?
Or Ireland.
Either Scotland or not.
Hey, and don't…
I don't want to get between it, but it was either Scotland or Ireland.
I don't know.
Some people from Omaha.
Oh, yeah.
From Omaha.
From Omaha.
Of course.
Omaha.
Of course.
Atlanta.
Omaha.
I didn't see…
Anyone from Concord?
Just saying.
Oh, there were definitely some 925…
I don't think they were from Concord.
I think they were from Antioch.
That's close enough.
That's close enough.
It's not.
You know what?
Concord is so far from Tampa.
It's…
There were people from Concord, but not Concord, California.
I think they were from Concord, Maine?
New Hampshire?
Well, then that doesn't count even at all.
Yeah, so that doesn't…
That's not where you're from even a little bit.
No, we're sister cities.
We're sister cities.
Yeah.
I guess so.
Yeah, and then what would you guys say?
What would you guys say?
What would you guys say is your favorite part of the cruise?
Mmm.
Mmm.
Mmm.
Mmm.
I did have fun.
I hosted two things, or co-hosted with some other comedians.
I went over to the Beer Mile.
There's like a track on the boat.
Oh, the Tour de Francia.
Tour de Francia.
Yeah, Tour de Francia.
They did a Tour de Francia, a.k.a. Beer Mile, but it wasn't beer as wine because it's Tour de Francia.
People had to run, I think, three or four laps, whatever added up to a mile, and slam a glass of wine or a cup of wine every time.
So, like, slam it, run your first.
This one dude who won it was hauling ass.
Beautiful body.
Okay, okay.
But then, and then the guy who got second, pretty far behind him, but I think the guy who won threw up later.
Yes.
Perfect.
So, I just want to be clear about this.
That disqualifies him.
Oh, is it?
So, the dude who got second, yeah, yeah, yeah.
If you vomit, you're out.
Why is that the case?
No, I like that rule, actually.
What do you mean?
Like, if you can vomit, you can just be vomiting.
Vomiting the whole time.
You didn't keep it down.
But you might as well not run the mile also.
Thank you.
You got to drink it and keep it down, and then you win.
For seven days.
Yeah!
You can't go for seven days.
And I'm just looking it up in the IOC rules, but that was great.
And then also the belly flop contest.
The belly flop contest.
I missed.
I said I was going to go to it, and then I missed it like a fucking fool.
It went from, like, people with just amazing talent.
To a few guys and gals jumping in feet first for some reason.
Okay, let's go.
Yeah, just to say they were there.
Where everyone watching is like, stop.
They did the pencil?
What?
Like, holding their nose.
See, what I used to pride myself on in my youth was my ability to belly flop off very high platforms.
I could belly flop off a roof into a pool.
I could belly flop.
Off the high dive, over and over, I would do a flip, and then belly flop, so you really whack into it.
Sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it was painful, but it was worth it.
Always worth it.
But this was just you're jumping off the side of the pool, essentially.
There wasn't a real platform there.
I think, like, you know, legally or whatever, they couldn't really do anything too crazy.
Because there was like a balcony above.
Yeah, that would have been sick.
And they were told, like. Like, no flipping, no, like, whatevering.
Kind of weak.
You just had to jump up.
But this one dude, big guy, also had hops, got up, and then just came down super hard.
I think I. Very impressive.
Did he win?
He won.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think I saw the photo of him.
It's, like, actually an epic photo.
Like, his form is insane.
It's, like, Olympic-looking.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
And I feel like in order to win a belly flop competition, you got to be a big guy.
You do.
You have to have mass.
No, no, no.
So, this was a. This was a big guy.
This was not an obese guy.
Plenty of them.
Plenty of big ol' boys, is what I call those.
Sure, yeah.
They're big ol' boys.
Not big man.
We know the difference.
Boss hogs.
Who was the arm wrestling champion?
What was his name again?
Do you remember?
That's a big man.
He had a really cool name.
Declan or something?
I thought it was Gage.
Gage.
Oh, Gage.
Strongest guy on the boat.
I played blackjack with Gage.
Gage was the man.
Oh, yeah.
Shout out to Gage, man.
Gage.
Let's describe Gage real quick.
Gage looks like the guy on the farm who designed the equipment.
You're a monster.
Yeah.
But also can throw a hay bale on his back.
Yeah, he's a human tractor.
Right.
He is a human tractor.
Yeah.
Big, beefy, big boy.
He's the guy on the site who has that hardcore laptop.
You know those tough guy laptops that have like. You know when they do the commercials for Ford F-150s and they're like,
"The laptop station."
It's for that.
It's for that guy.
It's for that guy.
This is Gage.
Everyone else is like, "I'm not going to run a laptop station right here."
And it's for Gage.
His name is Gage.
I don't even think that's a nickname.
I think his parents named him Gage.
Yeah, that's a real name.
That's a real name.
Pet Sematary.
Well, I've never met a Gage in my life.
The best thing. Oh, by the way, this pen is from The Haven.
That was our little zone, our little kick it zone.
Oh, shit.
Flex on.
Baby Nooch was second place in the arm wrestling competition.
That was pretty big time.
And who is Baby Nooch to. To the listeners/viewers?
That is Kyle Nowichek who he used to be part of the podcast.
See ya.
It is his brother who we all love more than Kyle.
Yes.
He shows up to the cruise, which we would have loved.
His girlfriend was a stand-up.
Yes.
Beth Stelling.
Very funny.
Beth Stelling.

We had so many funny comedians on the ship, dude.
Go through them.
Nick Swartzen, Bobby Lee, John Gabrus.
Brent Morin, Brooks Whelan, Annie Leder.
Catherine Blanford.
Blanford.
John Gabris.
Yeah.
I know we're Mark Ribbley.
Yes.
Mark Ribbley did some music.
Reggie Watts.
It was sick, dude.
Reggie Watts, dude.
What a cool late addition, dude.
He absolutely killed it, man.
It was so cool for me because those were all my homies when I kind of first started.
Like Nick Swartzen, he was already very famous when I started working at the comedy clubs
at the Hollywood Improv when I was 20 years old in 2004, and he was already a huge success.
Right.
And Grandma's Boy, I think, came out a couple years later, and I was there when Grandma's
Boy was coming out, and I'm like, this guy is a stud, and he was always so fucking nice
and always just such a good dude.
He's the best.
He's a great guy.
And he still is.
And Bobby Lee, I've known for 20-something years.
Everybody was.
And he's-
Everybody was cool.
Sam Jay.
Sam Jay.
Super cool.
Sam Jay.
Sam Jay broed down with your mom.
Your parents were there.
Yeah, my parents were there.
Your mom did a type five.
She really did.
My parents both were chugging Jägermeister, which was crazy.
That shit's important.
Your mom's tagline kept being like, don't touch the poop.
That would be fucking unreal.
That would be her.
I said, you better kick the- just keep those burgers cooking.
And don't touch the pin dog.
And don't touch the poop.
Give her an accent.
Fucking trip, dude.
I would say the- I did not expect to get emotional at all.
Yeah.
But I got truly misty-eyed when we were in the theater watching-
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Office Camp Out.
And there's- the theater's behind us, and there's, you know, the theater was packed.
Yeah.
And it's us just doing commentary over the episodes.
Yeah.
And everyone's cheering every time a new character is introduced.
And it was- it's truly incredible what that show meant to people.
And, yeah, it sent me, dude.
I was like-
I can't wait for my parents to watch it.
They're not going to, dude.
They're going to love it.
I think as soon as they do, they'll be like, oh, cool.
Nice.
We'll do it live!
Oh, okay.
That was surreal, though.
I haven't watched those episodes in so long.
Like, it's crazy.
And they had it on- I don't know if you turn on your television.
It's in your room.
But they had them on just 24-7.
Stream them.
The first two seasons were just streamed over and over and over.
Perfect.
Perfect casting.
Oh, my God.
Perfect.
Absolutely.
Perfect casting.
Dude, and it's so great that, like, Jet Set and Wayman and Homegirl and, like, a lot
of our background talent, who then we gave lines to and made stars, were there from the
jump.
It was so cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
I mean-
Was Bill our only late addition?
I know Bill came on as an actor, not necessarily a background actor, but Bill was kind of, like-
But that wasn't that late.
That was still season one.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
But I don't think he was there since the jump.
Wayman is the only person who was there since, like-
Dude, he was in-
Way, way.
Wayman-
OG videos.
Wayman was in the old videos back in the day, the fifth year videos that we made that
then sort of became-
God damn.
The-
The colonel that became workaholics.
Yeah.
We found him on Craigslist for, like, 50 bucks, and he rode with us until the freaking wheels
fell off.
Yeah.
R.I.P.
Wayman.
R.I.P.
He would have had a blast on the-
Blazer Highlight?
Highlight of the cruise?
Was it Adam crying, or-
Yeah.
I was watching Adam cry while he ate a cheeseburger in front of everybody while we watched an
episode.
I forgot.
They were like, here's cheeseburgers, and I was like-
I was so hungry.
I hadn't got to eat today.
Yeah.
Because it was hard, because you just had shit to do all the time.
We did.
We were-
You know, different events to go to.
We were-
We were busy boys.
We were busy boys.
Yeah.
And I did have a chance to eat anything, and I was like, can I just get a cheeseburger?
And it was so delicious.
It hit the spot, huh?
Mm-hmm.
And by the way, we were in the front row.
Who cares?
It was dark.
I was just eating.
You know, a pound of fucking cheeseburger.
Like a pound of cheeseburger.
No biggie.
No big deal.
All right?
Hey, take it easy.
No big deal.
Just pounded a cheeseburger.
Blake was embarrassed.
He doesn't like to eat them in front of people.
Well, I handed mine back.
I ate 42 corners of PB&J that were in the green room.
Oh, see, I did BLTs.
Kept coming and going through that green room, and I would just-
No, those BLTs were crack, and I think that besides BLTs, I think the only other thing
I ate was potstickers.
It was potstickers and BLTs.
And if you're joining us now, we're just talking about the things we ate on the cruise
as we moved around.
Okay, so my favorite part, because the pool was super dope.
Remember the deep-
The deep-throat competition or whatever, when we were reading the ad reads back in
the day, it was like, what is the deep-throat thing?
I don't.
Well, it was a competition-
I don't even know what you're talking about right now.
Yeah, this is on the ship.
There was a deep-throat competition.
You might have had a fever dream, pal.
There was something that was listed as a deep-throat dive, and we were all like, oh, that's Isaac
fucking- he's trying to find some talent or something.
Okay.
It ended up being fucking cool as hell, dude.
What you had to do was dive down to the bottom of the pool, grab a beer, come back up, chug
it, and then get out.
And it was like a timed thing.
And then Chad and JT were the ones that were-
Oh, also Chad and JT.
Yeah, they were doing the commentary while people were doing it.
It was fucking hilarious, dude.
It was so fun.
And people were going for it.
What pool?
This was like the back little pool where they did the belly flop.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That like main pool on like the deck.
I did a belly flop in there.
My eyes were on fire for like two hours.
I don't know what was in that water.
Chlorine, probably.
I'm not joking.
On fire.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It was piss and cum and shit and diarrhea and all that.
Diarrhea.
No, no, no, no, because we would like to do the cruise again.
It wasn't piss and shit and cum.
Yeah.
So that was part of the this is important game.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That was part of the game, right, Blake?
Yes, yes.
The deep throat.
Okay, got it, got it.
See, because when I showed up, it was just people like playing cornhole and I didn't
make it over that direction and then it was just doing keg stands.
No, yes.
No, that was a different time.
This was like a separate thing.
This was the deep throat dive.
It was a sanctioned event, but what you're talking about was like the drinking game.
And you went to that for what?
You didn't know what it was, but you thought, well, I should go to that.
Deep throat dive.
I should go to that.
I like diving.
I like diving.
I like diving.
It's like, you got to go this with me, dude.
You got it.
Uh-huh.
Yeah, okay.
Friendship.
No, well, it's people.
It was loud and it was right outside my window.
I'm like, I'm going to go check it out.
It was really actually very, very funny.
So that was your favorite part of the deep throat dive.
I did.
I did enjoy it immensely.
Yeah, that was sick.
I also liked my karaoke night.
I hosted a karaoke night.
Yes, that was a blast.
And that was a fucking banger.
I think when we do another cruise.
And I would say, maybe we do that every night.
Every night.
There should be karaoke every night.
Yeah.
Because I feel not enough people were able to get up.
For sure.
Because it's only two hours long.
Yeah.
And, you know.
Yeah, I think we joked about it on stage.
But, like, literally, I think you could just make a karaoke cruise and people would be so stoked.
People get fucking juiced.
And so you mean a karaoke cruise where karaoke is every night or we're like from 8 a.m.?
From 8 a.m. to 4 a.m.?
All fucking day.
All day, dude.
What do you mean by karaoke cruise?
I think it has to be a certain time.
Maybe just once a night.
I don't know if it's all karaoke all the time.
Dude, I'm saying it's for a breakfast show, a lunch show, and a dinner show.
Like three karaoke.
That might be too much.
I do like the idea of a breakfast.
I do like the idea of, like, eating breakfast and just watching somebody.
I mean, that would be amazing.
Yes.
That's like a drag brunch.
Eating breakfast and you're like.
Hey, now.
I'm drunk now.
Get your game on.
Go play.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Adam's doing it again.
There was some real talent at the karaoke contest.
I will say I was very impressed.
It was sick.
What was the most impressive song?
This girl did Celine Dion and she.
Oh, shit.
Murdered.
And what song?
Who could have said that?
Life Will Go On?
Is that one?
Dude, I don't know.
It wasn't Titanic, was it?
Titanic?
No.
Was it in French?
I think so.
It wasn't in French.
She was.
I honestly, I don't remember what the name of the song was, but she crushed it.
Why can't we even.
It's probably If You Asked Me To.
You remember.
I think it was If You Asked Me To.
If you asked me to.
Oh, that's a banger, dude.
So good.
Celine Dion is underrated.
Yeah.
Stiff person syndrome.
When I thought I had stiff person syndrome, I was like, oh, that's a good song.
I was like, oh, that's a good song.
So good.
Yeah.
When I thought I had stiff person syndrome, I was looking at Celine.
But she seems to be doing okay.
She canceled a lot of her tour dates and then has started to pick up some of the dates.
She's getting back up there.
Great ass.
Pretty limber to me.
Hey, shout out Celine.
Okay.
Immortal legend.
Yeah.
Stiff person.
I mean, when she wore that backwards jacket, fucking sick, right?
Yeah.
I mean, when she wore that backwards jacket, fucking sick.
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm unaware.
I'm not sure what you're referencing.
Yeah.
The backwards white suit as a dress.
Do you think Celine Dion was in Criss Cross?
Dude, look it up.
She wore like a backwards white suit with a crazy spy versus spy hat.
Oh, yes.
Yes.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
I remember.
Oh, my God.
Remember, yes, with the open back.
If you can help me out with a picture in the chat, Todd, that'd be great.
Dude, the backwards suit.
Dude, she's so sick, dude.
She showed up to the damn. She looked like the ice queen.
She showed up to the damn Grammys with her suit on backwards and played it off like she meant to do it.
Do you like my dress?
It's not a dress, it's a suit.
Yeah, I'm looking at the photo now.
She's like, no, I meant to do it.
And also this hat that she's wearing is fucking Peter Pan's dress-up hat.
It looks like a piece of paper.
This is Peter Pan going to a wedding right now.
It looks like lined paper.
It looks like she pulled that out of a damn suit.
Riot.
Riot.
Dude, the 90s were so fucking riot.
Oh, God, I miss them.
I miss them now more than ever.
I just miss them now more than ever.
The 90s.
Legend.
Celine Dion is a true. Look at that, though.
I've never seen that photo.
Look at this.
Celine with it.
It's actually a good shot.
Pop up these photos when we're talking on the. On the flicks.
Please.
Much appreciated.
Her hat looks like a paper airplane, dude.
It's unreal.
I would like to apologize real quick.
An early apology to our fans for not being able to show the fans on the cruise ship.
I guess we couldn't legally do that.
This is the way.
Which sucks, but. You know what, though?
Half of them called in sick to work.
So we don't want to blow up their spot.
You guys are safe.
Don't worry about it.
Honestly.
Dude, everybody was so. Like. You were touching upon it, Adam.
But, like, that cruise could have been, like. What?
A fucking. A fucking nightmare.
But the fact. The people make the cruise.
The people on the ship were the reason it fucking rocked.
Everybody was so awesome, dude.
All the other comedians and other musicians were like,
the people here, the fans, are super cool.
Super good vibe.
Nobody was misbehaving.
Nobody really cried.
Nobody crossed a line.
No.
I never felt like I was, like, in danger,
except when Adam started doing that with his little inchworm.
Yeah.
Bro, I didn't know it had motion.
No.
But you didn't know it was a belly. Hey, with our fucking powers combined, dude. We could do anything.
We figured things out.
Pizza, pizza.
We're goddamn geniuses.
Everybody was rad, dude.
I wonder who, like, the drunkest person on the cruise was.
Because remember that dude had the belt?
I'm sorry.
Wait, what?
Fucko.
Besides the people we brought.
There's no. There's no wondering at all.
It was Atiba and Akko.
It was our friends, Atiba and Akko.
The ship. The ship themselves. I'm drunk now. told Isaac that we have to get them under the control.
It wasn't. They got cut off.
It wasn't Six Man, who was the production company,
who put it on, who all the people were great,
and they were the people that you would see running around.
It was the ship and the ship's security
that was like, they can't drink anymore.
Now I'm wondering. If we do another cruise, we want them to come.
We want them to perform.
Will they be allowed to?
I was intoxicated.
Will they be allowed?
Well, is. Yeah, yeah.
Are they on a hit list for Norwegian Jewel?
They might be.
Or they're like. No, they're not.
These two are not allowed?
We play the race card if that's the case.
We go, oh, really?
Oh.
Is it because they're half black?
Two of the few black people on the cruise can't come back.
That's interesting.
Let's look into Norway's history.
I also. There was this Asian. There was an Asian guy that came up to me.
And this was like. And let's talk about everybody by race.
Everybody's race.
Because we were clocking it.
We were definitely clocking it.
I'm always clocking races of people.
Hey, how are you?
I've been talking about it.
How are you, white person?
Hello.
Shout out.
Hello, my Asian friend.
Shout out to jeans.
Hello, fellow white.
We also got to. We'll circle back.
But we got to talk about jeans.
But go ahead.
Okay.
Got it.
Genetics?
So then this Asian guy. He. It was during the middle of the TII Games.
And that, I think, was the drunkest people were.
Yeah.
Well, the sun came out.
It was a beautiful vibe.
It was the nicest day.
So everyone's out on the main deck.
And we're pounding beers.
We're doing beer bongs.
We're doing keg stands.
Hot, hot, hot, hot.
It was sick.
And by the way, all of us are 35 to 45.
You lose.
We're all just like clinging on to that part of our youth
where we're like, we used to be so cool.
And we used to party so hard.
And this is when we're going to fucking wave that flag once again.
And it felt so good.
And the sun was hitting.
And people are pretty sloppy.
And this guy comes and he just goes,
Hey, I want to let you know I came on this cruise by myself.
This podcast means so much to me.
I did not know the show.
I started listening to the podcast.
He didn't know Workaholics.
Oh, was it my dad?
And then I went back and watched Workaholics.
That fucking thing sucks.
And he goes,
I wish I had friends like you guys.
Wow.
And I want to thank you.
And this means so much to me.
I don't even party.
I don't drink.
I don't do any of this stuff.
I don't even party.
But I'm having a blast.
Yeah.
And he was sober or he was drunk or what?
He was sober.
He was sober.
He was like, I don't drink.
I don't party.
And I just want to let you know how much the podcast means to me.
And I'm having a blast on the cruise.
Because I was like, are you having fun?
Yeah.
Like, I hope you're having a good time.
You're having a good time.
I was like, are you having a good time?
I just did a 38-second keg stand.
Actually, you.
Yeah.
A karaoke.
Yeah.
Get a phone.
Dude, I tell you what.
I am so good at keg stands.
I am so good at keg stands, dude.
You had to like stop because you were hogging the whole keg.
Yeah.
I was just like, oh, fucking 38.
All right.
Put me down, I guess.
Yeah.
I was like, I don't know.
I've had enough.
I've had my fill.
I remember I did one in Hawaii when we were doing house party in Hawaii.
Mm-hmm.
The stand-up show.
And it went out like, it was like a minute 20.
And people were like bored of counting.
And then finally I was like, just put me down.
Mm-hmm.
Like.
Permanent.
Like, it's just because it's, you're just drinking beer.
Right.
And you can just keep drinking beer.
Like.
Sure.
You just keep swallowing.
Somebody help me!
Yeah.
You just keep swallowing and swallowing.
You just keep swallowing and swallowing and swallowing.
It's easy to do.
I felt like that's when we really got to shine.
Like you were saying.
Like, it was back to the glory days.
We were on the deck.
We were all just chogging beers.
Chogging.
With the homies.
Dude, chogging.
It was, the vibes were immaculate.
Oh, and shotgunning.
So many shotgunning.
Atiba split his finger open because he kept just.
I wish they would have arrested him.
How does he not do that every time?
He's so elite at.
Yeah.
Putting his thumb through the beer.
Yeah, renegading.
Which, by the way.
We call it renegading.
Renegading.
That's a cool term.
Right.
I've heard that term before.
Right.
He told me.
He told me how to do it.
And the first time he showed me, I did it.
And I was like, oh, I'm going to be able to do this.
It was at our house with the dinosaurs on the roof, Blake.
And he showed me how.
I was like, oh, like this.
And I did it.
And then I was like, I'm going to be able to do this.
Right.
Absolutely.
This is going to be your new thing.
And then I've never been able to do it.
Yo, Joe Biden.
It's science.
Everywhere you go, no matter who you meet.
Dude.
Joe.
And now you can't do it?
No, I can't do it.
I've tried dozens and dozens.
And this is the same as using a key, but he just uses his thumb.
Yeah.
It's not a strength thing.
It's physics for sure.
It's a, you have to, it's when the bubble goes, so you tip the can.
So this is a Coke, so this won't work.
But you tip a can like this, and then it creates an air pocket.
And then you're supposed to be able to.
And you have to have a little bit of a thumbnail.
That would ruin my, that would ruin my life.
You do have to have a little bit of a, yes.
I'm a gnar.
Yeah.
I'm a little bit of a gnar as well.
You're saying gnar?
Gnar.
Gnar.
So Atiba and Akko were elite level drunk, which is very fun.
Yeah, dude.
I actually like approached them and was like, hey guys, can you slow down?
And then Atiba proceeded to shotgun in my face.
I was like, hey, we all have to DJ tonight.
You're DJing in an hour.
I'm like, just take it easy from like, this was at 10 at night.
I said, just let's not have another beer till 1.30 on stage.
Bitch.
Yeah.
And then we can start to drink again.
8 o'clock in for work.
Yes.
So I, when I did karaoke, it started at 1230, right?
Yeah.
So it was, it was, you know, it's not early.
It's past daddy's bedtime.
Honestly, dude, I go to bed at like 10 PM now.
I'm like such an old fucking man.
And so I was like, oh, fuck.
And by the time it was like 11 and I'd been drinking all day and I'm like, I have to stop.
You're, you started draw a bath.
I have to.
I have to.
I have to bridge the gap where you want to stop drinking.
But then if you fully stop.
Oh, you shut down.
Then all of a sudden you get, you start to get tired.
Yeah.
So then I'm like, I'm like drinking a Red Bull.
I'm drinking a soda.
Yeah.
And then, and then I was like, okay, here's what I'm going to do.
Just a splash of rum.
Oh yeah.
Not, not a whole drink.
Not a whole drink.
Just enough to, just enough to keep daddy going.
Keep it jiggling.
Oh, it felt good.
It felt good to just be back in those days when,
when we would just, uh, when we were full blown alcoholics
and we were just living in the workaholics house
and it was expected and it was encouraged
and we never got to grow up.
How great was that?
It's really, yeah, we had to,
everything we learned in college we used on the cruise ship.
That's right.
That is true.
It's like every little skill.
I took Adderall.
Okay.
I'm not prescribed.
Okay.
Adderall.
What was this from the pharmacy?
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
A friend of ours.
So it's not like a random person, a friend of ours.
I was struggling.
I'm like so tired.
I'm like, dude, I can just go to bed.
And they were like, do you want an Adderall?
And I'm like, give me one.
And by the way, I tell you what, I went, did it work?
Did it work?
Yeah.
What was your guys?
What was your guys like?
Not that I had like a pattern that I was trying to stick to,
but like after five beers, I was like,
I need like a seltzer to just kind of hit reset here.
Get that little out of my mouth.
Or then just do like a Jack and Coke.
Or then get one of those like mixed slushy drinks
that tastes like a pina colada type thing.
Do you guys have a-
This is me when the Adderall hits.
Swing.
Does it make your dick hard?
I soon figured out that like being like,
what would you call it?
Like in the haven, like kind of like the artist area.
Like I stopped drinking there because I realized
when we would go out like amongst everybody,
we're going to catch like stray shots and beers like that.
Oh, interesting.
That's where I-
See, that was an elite level move.
I did not do that.
I liked drinking in the haven.
I liked to relax back there.
It was dope.
And have a cocktail or two.
And a potsticker.
The potstickers were hot as hell.
I just said no to shots.
Treat yourself to some beef wellington.
When they pulled out the beef wellington, I'm like-
I was like, oh.
Jesus Christ.
I was like, dude, what am I-
You really want me to take a fucking nap right now, don't you?
Hey, shout out to-
To Gene's.
I said I'd bring him up again.
Gene's, he was like my boy.
He was my guy.
He was my-
He was my confidant.
I don't know who Gene's is.
I don't know either.
You guys didn't know Gene's?
Maybe Gene's was just like my personal like homie.
So on the cruise, we were given butlers.
Okay, so you got to use more words.
Your personal-
Oh, was it a butler or-
I think he was-
Yeah, we had like a person that attended to each of us.
Oh, yeah. He was amazing.
So you had Gene's.
Yes, which I was like-
His name was Gene's.
His name was literally Gene's.
I'm like, did you just pick the most American thing possible and say that's my name?
Because bro's name was Gene's.
Because he was from like the Philippines.
Yeah, he was from the Philippines.
Yeah, a lot of those guys are from the Philippines.
By the way, dude, I've never felt like more of a celebrity walking through the bowels of the ship.
Oh, my God.
They loved you.
Whenever we had to like walk through the like underground of the ship to get to a different part.
Oh, yeah, the kitchen, bro.
And the kitchen or whatever.
Because in the Philippines-
In the Philippines.
And I think like that whole area.
Indonesia.
They love Indonesia.
They love Pitch Perfect.
Please don't stop the music.
It's the biggest shit to them.
So I'd walk through and then be like, where's Fat Amy?
Where's Fat Amy?
They did not give a fuck about me or Dirt.
It was like when you were coming through, it was like roll out the red carpet, dude.
It was fucking crazy.
I wanted to put a backward suit on and just strut through like I'm Celine, motherfucker.
Fuckin' D.
Fuckin' fat.
Paper airplane on your head, dude.
God damn, bro.
The next cruise, the next cruise, I don't even go up and mix with people.
I'm just in the bowels of the ship.
Just making sandwiches.
Shooting dice.
Doing a script read.
Doing a karaoke competition.
Fuck it.
Sure, dude.
I'm not.
Using it in the group chat.
Good luck.

Man, that crew, it was, it was.
Epic.
It was epic.
And the perfect amount of time.
Yeah.
Yes.
Four days at sea.
Yes.
One day at Cozumel if you got off the boat.
Oh, yeah, dude.
Oh, I could have stayed at Cozumel for three days.
I fucking love Mexico, dude.
Mexico is so.
Mexico is the best.
And also they were there.
It was the the cartel.
All the cartel shit had just happened where they had caught the big cartel.
The cartel boss.
And so then the cartel was.
I didn't catch them.
I think they killed them, bro.
Oh, they killed them.
Yeah.
They caught them and killed them.
They caught them.
Then.
So then the cartel, who, by the way, is fully militarized.
Yeah.
They're like.
Yeah.
Have their own army.
Then they started like bombing shit and blowing stuff up and killing people.
And.
Allegedly.
My, you know, family's hitting me up being like, should you leave the ship?
But my sister's boyfriend is a Mexican man.
And he.
As we stated.
She said, Adam knows what everyone is and he categorizes it.
I have to.
I have to know.
Well, he was like, he was like, that's on the other side of the country.
We don't have to worry about it.
And Cozumel.
It's an island.
And I'm like, OK.
All right.
Yeah.
That's cool.
But then we got to Senor Frogs and we broke down with the cartel super hard.
Dude, they were sick.
So then, dude, I didn't even get to hang out with you guys because my family's there.
And, you know, they're like, hey, come have dinner with us.
I'm like, yeah, OK.
Yeah, you blew it.
I know.
But I mean, it was fun.
But then.
Then my sister's boyfriend, he's like, I have he's like a foodie.
And he's like, I know exactly where to take you for dinner.
And we're like, Senor Frogs.
Sick.
Yeah.
No, he takes us to an Italian restaurant, which was actually very good.
But an Italian restaurant when you're in Cozumel and you're there for an afternoon, you don't
want to go to an Italian restaurant.
No.
The cause of diarrhea.
And then the Italian restaurant is called Guido's.
What?
Not OK.
And I'm like.
Not OK.
I'm like offensive.
Offensive.
But the food was good.
But I was like, man, I just wanted a fucking taco.
Honestly.
Damn.
So are you kind of beefing with your sister's dude or what?
Uh huh.
Yeah.
He's dead to him.
Yeah.
I'm salty.
I'm a little salty.
Damn.
Hey, well, shout out to him.
Like that was literally the first time all of us met him and it was on the cruise.
That's like that's kind of elite to roll like that and and meet us on the cruise.
Oh, come on.
Come on.
Come on.
Elite.
Well, I understand what I know.
Blake's using.
We're very protective.
Very protective.
Well, Blake's using like a teenage like terminology.
Now he explains things.
This is all I know.
But yes, we never grew up like I stated earlier.
Had he met your family before?
No, he had not met my parents.
Right.
That was the first time.
So that's that's kind of the thing that you mean.
That's elite.
And also like to go into the chaos that you said us.
You said us, Blake.
We are his family.
- Yes, you guys extended family.
My son calls you Uncle Ders and Uncle Blake.
Sorry.
I love it.
I thought we were work friends.
Forget it.
No, man.
We're family, bud.
You keep saying that for years that we're just work friends, but we're not, Ders.
We're family.
Okay.
Oh, why do you do that?
Come on, man.
But it was trial by fire.
It was fucking wild to, and I don't even know, I don't think, my sister on purpose dates
people that are not fans of mine.
Because she has in the past.
And then when people find out that I'm her brother and then they're a fan, it's weird
for her.
Which I totally understand.
Totally.
And so I think this guy, I think he wasn't a fan and didn't really know.
And then to go on the ship.
She can't date any Filipinos.
And then he goes on to the ship.
Yeah.
It had to have been a shock.
I mean, just bizarre.
Just bizarre.
Just a bizarre world.
Yeah.
Please stop the music.
Please.
He's like, he kept screaming.
He kept screaming that.
And then the last night, so we have a little artist haven and it's getting late and we
all like, I didn't want to go to bed.
It's like one or two o'clock in the morning.
I don't want it to end.
Yeah.
Honestly.
And like, I'm still drinking even though I know that we have to get off the ship in like
five hours.
Oh, yeah.
Thank God for Nick Swartzen because he was like, the morning of, he's like, just so you
know, they don't fuck around.
Like, when it's time to go, it's time to go.
Yeah.
He was digging his thumb into my shoulder.
When he said that.
And I was like, yeah.
All right.
And Nick is, shout out to Nick who is sober now.
I think it's been about a year, but to go on that cruise, that is an out drink.
All of us.
Yeah.
What you do is very booze heavy and stay fully sober.
That was a very impressive.
I was like, dude, we don't need, we don't need him falling off the wagon and it's all
of our faults.
That would really, really suck.
But he, he was, um, he was fucking great.
But that last night.
Yeah.
We're there.
And then it was the saxophonist, I think from the goddamn comedy jam.
Shout out to Josh, Adam Myers.
Yeah.
And every, uh, Peterson, uh, who are Pearson, every, every Pearson who from the goddamn
comedy jam.
They rocked it.
They rocked it.
And, um, flashback heart attack as well.
Yes.
Both the bands were great.
Both the bands did great.
They were rocking.
But the saxophone player from that band who I don't know his name, who was sloshed.
He doesn't have one.
Which I loved.
He just.
Just came into the, the Haven area, which is the artist area and just started like rocking
the saxophone.
So just to set the, set the scene here.
People are mingling.
We're all hanging out.
We're kind of all off the clock now.
We're done.
We're kind of saying goodbyes and like thank yous and whatever.
And someone's got a Bluetooth speaker.
Music's playing.
And the saxophone guy is just kind of doing saxophone to whatever song is playing.
Yeah.
It's like.
Glycerine.
Don't let our days go.
But if you've never heard glycerine with a sax solo, it actually works.
If you're hammered and you've had buzz balls, it sounds really good.
And, and no one is like, yeah, sax man.
And sax man's not like, um, Hey, by the way, really good to meet you.
No, he doesn't speak.
He's communicating by saxophone.
He's not having any conversation.
I never heard his voice.
He laid in the chair and you'd see him like kind of doze off and then he'd like kind of
come back to and just start ripping again on the sax.
It was the best.
Unreal.
Yeah.
It was the best.
So big shout out to that guy.
The sax man.
And the amount of buzz balls that we had on the ship was absurd.
And no one drank, no one drank them.
It was just Blake.
Oh yeah.
All the buzz balls that were set out in like the, the artist area back there.
Cause there were a ton.
Oh yeah.
Okay.
I thought you were talking about the ones we tossed to the fans.
I was about to say they got some take backs and apologies.
No, no, no.
I'm sure if you catch a buzz ball, you get a, you get a buzz ball for sure.
The, the, I think it was the first night we indulged in buzz balls.
Like a few of us in the Haven.
Yeah.
That was like the icebreaker.
Boy, you and Akko and Atiba, who got the drunkest of us.
This is Blake in the bathroom in the mirror.
Blake in the mirror.
And jeans.
Me in jeans.
Yeah, I bet.
Yeah.
No, baby knew Chad won.
Baby knew Chad won.
I'm so bad at, uh, at using a concierge or a butler.
Anytime I'm ever, you know, if you're staying at a really nice hotel, they give you like a,
they're like, this is your personalized butler.
I'm like, what am I going to use this guy for?
Yeah.
I'm just like, I guess we just take shots together.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm like, I didn't know, uh, my, my guy, his name was Parvish, I believe.
Uh, I had two Parvish and, and then Naveen.
Parvish and Naveen.
And.
Well, I had Naveen.
Didn't use either of them once.
Um, I had him walk on my back and you could just talk to him.
Yeah.
You could just talk to them and go.
Yeah.
I just bro'd down.
I just bro'd down with jeans.
No one laughed at my jokes on the pod.
And then he's like, that's okay.
You were very funny.
I'm like, thank you.
This is so.
No, I laughed at your jokes.
This is amazing.
Yeah.
You wouldn't, you wouldn't kiss me.
You asshole.
I would not kiss you, dude.
I don't know.
There's a picture of us.
There's a picture of us not kissing that looks like we're about to.
And I like to think that that's the story it tells is that we definitely did kiss and
that you think about it often.
You know what?
You know what?
I didn't kiss him.
Well, here's, here's why.
I know why.
Because I, I wasn't feeling good.
Kind of the whole trip.
Yeah.
I would have every other day.
I would have an off day.
You would just kiss Blake.
Which kind of sucked.
So like, it was, it was the day we got into Tampa.
I was like, I'm not feeling that good.
I should just sleep.
So I slept.
And then, and then I'm also not sleeping very much.
I'm like, I'm afraid I had made, I had a little cold or something.
And then I kissed you.
I kissed you, Blake.
Cause you wanted me to kiss you.
You made him.
And then I.
Turned to Durs.
And then I was like, I don't want to get, I already got Blake sick.
Do I get Durs sick too?
And then I bailed.
I'm still sick.
Oh yeah.
I probably gave you whatever norovirus.
Well, Adam, I hate to tell you, uh, you might've not given me a cold, but you broke my heart.
Uh, which is, which is worse.
Fuck it.
That is worse.
That's life.
Today's take backs, apologies, and epic slams are brought to you by.
Simple Mills.
Blake, I am so sorry.
I said, your hair looked crazy today.
It is not like me to be so callous with my words.
It's okay, man, but you really hurt my feelings there.
You know, my hair is my pride and joy.
Guys, guys, guys, let's get into the real reason you're acting out.
You're clearly hangry.
No, you're right.
You're right.
I could use a snack right now.
Dursie.
Well, have you guys heard of Simple Mills?
They have incredible snacks, including almond flour crackers, and some.
Some popums, which are the poppable, munchable, mmmable snacks.
That's cheesy, light, airy, and secretly packed with wholesome veggies.
You're right, Anders.
These are delicious.
We gotta have more of these around.
Hey, Blake, dare we say they're an epic snack.
Yeah, let's do that.
Okay, guys, this segment is officially called take backs, apologies, and epic snacks.
Find Simple Mills at your grocery store.
Now, where was my box?
I had it somewhere.
Anything we didn't cover about the cruise?
I mean, do we even?
There's so much.
We can not, or we can, talk about TK.
Oh, yeah.
TK.
TK.
Absolute weapon on the boat.
Sure.
Sure.
Weapon of destruction?
What are we talking about?
Drake McFadden.
Drake McFadden.
He was Faden.
So, Kyle's on the cruise.
He's on the cruise.
And the way it works with the wizards is that if we're not there, they're kind of like,
well, then why would I even show up?
Then why would they even show up?
Right.
And so it gets, it's really touch and go.
They already don't like us.
They just respect us and think that we're like a big deal down here.
Do not tell them.
Yeah.
Don't let them know.
Fuck it.
So, so Kyle's friend, old Toby was like, I'm not coming.
Fuck this shit.
So.
Yeah.
We needed someone to rap old Toby's part.
So we invited TK.
Who knows Sir Drake McFadden.
From the realm.
Right.
So then Sir Drake McFadden showed up.
And we invited him how long ago?
How long ago?
Months ago.
Right.
Months.
Months.
Well, Isaac, Isaac was giving a lot of pushback.
Isaac was giving a lot of pushback.
And Blake really pushing.
He was like, TK's going to come.
That means Sir Drake McFadden will show, will come through the portal.
And he's going to nail old Toby's rap.
I'm going to go.
He's going to nail it without a doubt.
Yes.
And then.
I'm going to go.
I'm going to go.
I'm going to go.
And the way it works is that if TK gets drunk, Sir Drake McFadden's like, why would I even
show up and do my job?
It's like ET.
Yeah.
And then Sir Drake McFadden absolutely butchered the wizard rap and.
I heard the wizards had a plan to actually do three tracks.
Yes.
Yeah.
They were going to do three songs.
The wizards were going to unveil three songs, which would have been legendary.
Oh.
That would have been unreal.
On the cruise.
But then Sir Drake McFadden didn't know.
Oh my god.
Didn't know any of them.
Any of them.
And he's just sort of.
And the mall spells well knew his shit too.
He was raring to go.
Yeah.
And he didn't.
Yeah.
He was raring.
And he didn't even.
Young cell did.
He had months to prepare.
Months.
Months.
And he's just sort of used it as a free vacation for himself.
Yes.
Because TK was brought on the cruise.
As talent.
Yeah.
He was.
But contractually, that's just the way it works
helm and i can't get into i know it's kind of ruining our story but no no no no no no that it
all because i don't want to get too inside baseball and as a take back i will not take
back inviting tk i thought he was an excellent presence on the ship he absolutely of course i'm
just disappointed in sir drake mcfade sir drake mcfade and kind of dropped the ball sir drake
i will say that faded uh i will say that faded but tk he brought the thunder he wrestled a lot
he pickleball right we won the pickleball championship so we did we did stand by that
yeah what you and you and him won the pickleball championship yeah yeah we stood on business oh
my god that's great that's great thank you oh my god good for you thank you you know what i wish
i wish i would have uh got out of the bath i would have if we did another
uh
another cruise i'm gonna do it a lot differently i'm gonna game plan it a lot i feel like i came
in a little flat-footed and i wouldn't i would have known exactly what to do the fact that i
didn't have a beer chugging competition you should have because i am it's science pretty elite but
there has to be someone that could let me get this right next time you're on a cruise you need
something that you will win well if blake's doing pickleball you're like i didn't win anything this
is crazy no no i think people like to do beer chug competition of course of course you could have
gone to the arm wrestling competition you might have put you might have put up numbers no you're
not being engaged you're not being i'm not good i'm not good my my arm my arms aren't long enough
it's all about you have to have long the lever the lever because it's not about this it's not
about here we go okay gage would have buried you oh absolutely absolutely because he's got a long
arm but it's not about i think gene's gonna be you
okay technique yeah well fucking naveen's gonna kick your ass you uh i can't believe no one went
overboard like that's crazy shout out to no no deaths nobody got left in mexico to my knowledge
no no even hurts i think yeah no no real injuries except for atiba's finger uh when he yeah split it
open andy andy fell djing and that just cut himself on the face or scraped himself the wheels were all
the way off but they
were all the way on as well it was it was perfect love the cruise should we do one every two years
every year and a half two years give me two give me two give me two yeah because i legit i do still
have like the sea legs like i still feel like that's crazy you guys said oh that's my take back
that's my take back is that i would do dramamine from day one i didn't do dramamine the first day
and i fucking bombed we were bartending and i had to literally go to the security who wears the
barf and needed an hour to like reset and that ended my night see i barfed right before the
bartending and it set me right i did not barf but i also did dramamine every time i mean the first
two days but i was so tired remember how i was just like i'm so fucking tired and you thought
you had covid you were telling us you had covid i did i was like i might have been covid or something
uh because well also like i'm just going through a bout of insomnia so like one day i'll sleep
for 20 minutes and i'm like i'm gonna sleep for 20 minutes and i'm like i'm gonna sleep for 20 minutes
i slept for 15 hours and like security was really worried about me yeah and then the next night i
slept for four and then the next night i slept for like a regular amount of time and then the
next night i slept for four so i'm pissed now so i was just all all the fuck over the place i didn't
have the sea legs thing for more than a day i think the next day i had it and then the day after that
i was grounded i truly if i sit down and i read i feel like i'm still on the boat but dramamine makes
you tired
so i thought i was like oh maybe if i stopped taking and i do think it helped i think i was
just so fucking tired because i'm on the dramamine they do have a less drowsy dramamine so that's
adderall yeah that's i think there's also probably something if you take dramamine and drink 40
beers in a day it's it's not recommended i think that you get tired yeah maybe that's it
fucking disaster my guy i doubt it funny on that but that was a legendary trip boys i'm
such a blast i'm so happy that we get to do this um all these years later and we still get to and
the fans showed up and they showed the fuck out and everybody had a blast they rock it makes me
feel like the next cruise all those people are coming back it's going to be even crazier because
we all know what we're getting ourselves into now yeah and uh i'm so excited there will be
and i think it comes down to when people were like like the other comedians and music
musicians were like i can't believe you guys still have these fans and all that and i was like
well it doesn't hurt that we still like each other and hang out yes do this right yes yes
kyle's dead kyle's dead but um but i'm like the reason it still works is because like we still
kick it yeah we're still homies i love you guys i love you guys i love you guys i really do love
you guys it's great working with you guys is just i love you dude you're my favorite work friend i
love you
you dude you're my favorite work friend what are we just jerking each other get the get the thing
