Speaker 2Well, if that happens, I guess I'll become Mr. Veto. I'm not going to let them. And then at some point, we'll probably make deals. That's what's happened. I mean, this is this wouldn't be the first time you'll have a president and you won't have the House or the Senate. They'll be sending stuff up. You veto it. And eventually, after a month or two of getting all vetoed, you know, it's ways they just wish they come over and you make a deal. I think that probably. What happened. But hopefully we don't have to worry about that.
Speaker 1It will be worse than that. It won't just be about President Trump vetoing bad Democratic policy. If the Democrats take the House and the Senate tonight, we're talking economic uncertainty. We're talking no new Supreme Court justices who care about the Constitution. We're talking about defunding the military and endless investigation. And the biggest one. We're talking about preparation for total Democratic third worldism, socialist economic policy and woke radicalism 2.0. Fast forwarding to 2020. Twenty eight. That is what is at stake today. So go vote. So we'll get to the state of the race in just a few minutes. I want to start by emphasizing why you need to vote if you have not already, because this is indeed the most important midterm election of our lifetime. It is. I don't usually say that because there are lots of important elections. And obviously, the next one is always the most important because it's the one happening. But let us be real. Every midterm election. Hurts the incumbent party. That's normal. So it's expected for Republicans to lose seats in the House and in the Senate. That's just the normal way that American politics works. The American people don't like the incumbent party almost always. And in the midterms, they tend to take a hit. But the consequences of this particular midterm election could be actually catastrophic for the country. Or alternatively, they could be the pathway to success for the next generation. And that's why we here at the Ben Shapiro show and at the Daily Wire have been pushing so damn hard. That's why we put out information on. All the major Democratic candidates in the Senate swing races. Check out our feed today for all that information. Maine, Michigan, Texas, Iowa. It's why we launched election wire. So you can be on top of all the information all the time. It's why we have reporters on the ground in all the different swing states. It's why we are going wall to wall this evening at Daily Wire. Our coverage begins, by the way, at 6 p.m. Eastern. You're going to want to be there all night long. We're going to be there all night long with you. It's your one stop shop for all election coverage. But we need to start by talking today about what is at stake. So let us begin with the economy. I understand that people have a general gestalt about the Trump economy and about President Trump in general. The people are dyspeptic. They have heartburn over the economy. But let us be clear that Donald Trump's economic performance is significantly better than the Democrats would have been or will be if they regain power. We've seen a massive cooling of inflation versus the Biden administration. It was 9.1 percent in 2022 on an annualized basis. And then it bottomed out at 2.4 percent this past January. It's back up to 3.5 percent. It's back up to 3.5 percent this past January. It's back up to 3.7 percent last month. A large part of that is due to President Trump's tariffs, which, again, I think the president should have punch holes in. Some of it is due to the Iran war as well. But remember, if it had been the Democrats, they would have come in office and they would have spent up the wazoo. Inflation would be significantly worse. Also, according to the GAO, the Government Accountability Office, the federal workforce decreased 12 percent under President Trump. That is the smallest it has been in 15 years. USAID, which is the. Left wing funding mechanism for a bunch of foreign organizations. It shrank by 94.6 percent. The Office of Personnel Management, which, again, is federal employment, shrank by 35 percent. The federal workforce shrank 10.3 percent in 2025 alone, which is the first time that it has significantly shrunk since 2017. And if you look at where the jobs are being added under President Trump, the answer is in the private sector. The final couple of years of the Biden administration, 25 percent of jobs. Added came from the public sector or government hiring portion of the economy. Trump has added over a million private sector jobs since the start of the administration. And that's despite all of the overblown fears about AI job loss so far. Also, the United States has been able to. Yes, the gas prices are too high, but we've been able to keep the gas prices within reason despite the Iran war because we have radically ramped up oil production and supply, not just domestically, but also what we've done in Venezuela. Again, we have problems. We have problems in the Middle East, but more oil is now flowing out of the Persian Gulf than was before the Iran war. And Democrats hate all this. Remember, it's not just whether you are upset with President Trump or the Republicans. There's another party that if you vote for them or stay home and then they win, they're going to reverse all of this. They want to cut oil production. They want to hand power back to the communists in Venezuela. They would love for Iran to keep a chokehold on oil supply in the Strait of Hormuz. Here's President Trump on Fox with Sean Hannity.
Speaker 3When you add up the United States oil and the. Venezuela, we probably have over 50 percent of the world's oil, but think of it differently. We have now more than Saudi Arabia, Russia and take the next largest country combined. And nobody even thought that was possible.
Speaker 1And again, remember, on the other side of the aisle are Democrats who wish to actively cut the ability for us to generate oil and gas production. So you don't like the oil and gas prices right now. Wait until you have a bunch of Green Revolution Democrats in power, the Green New Deal folks who believe that they are going to. Somehow windmill our way to glory. That's not going to be great. I'm just telling you right now. And you don't like what's happening. There is an alternative. Politics is always the art of compared to what that is, what politics is. There is never a perfect candidate and there is never a perfect party. It is always compared to what. OK, how about when it comes to fraud? The administration has been focused in large scale on fraud and federal and state welfare programs. The administration says it has uncovered some. Sixty billion dollars in fraud since January twenty twenty five. One hundred and seventy five million was returned in payments that would have gone to dead people. One hundred ninety million was tied to overseas fraud. One point four billion dollars in home health fraud has been suspended nationwide. There's the vice president who's been overseeing a large part of this effort.
Speaker 4And I think that the basic message is we actually want to preserve the programs that allow us to be generous to our fellow citizens. But in order to do that, we have to penalize fraudsters. We've been taking that especially seriously.
Speaker 1Democrats do not take that seriously. Democrats are perfectly happy to allow the spread of fraud across the country and then to declare that if you actually target the fraud, you are, in fact, a racist. In fact, if the Democrats take power, I promise you the kind of thing they will be focused on is suggesting that the administration is going to rig all future elections. And this will require state efforts to actually make it easier to vote illegally. This is one of the things the Democrats want federally if they ever regain power in all three branches. As a government, the first thing they will do is allow for ballot harvesting and mandate ballot harvesting across the country. The single most corrupt practice in American politics. Here's Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, who, of course, wants to run for president in 2028, suggesting that all the future elections will be rigged by Trump if the Democrats don't win the midterms. Understand that every accusation is an admission here from the Democrats.
Speaker 5If Democrats don't win, if they don't win in this election, we may not have other elections or certainly we're going. To have future elections, every single one of which will be rigged. Are you saying that all future elections will only be fair if Democrats win? Was that the implication there? No, the implication here is that Donald Trump is trying to rig these elections. And if he's able to do so, then you are going to see Republican majorities, which just follow Donald Trump's lead, no matter what he says, making sure that Democrats really don't have a chance.
Speaker 1Again, Democrats claiming that Trump is trying. To rig the elections as they run a candidate in Alaska who literally tried to rig an election is pretty astonishing. And there will be more of that to come. That is where things are going, obviously. And they will use the ever present threat of Trump in order to cram down their supposed anti authoritarianism. We talked about this yesterday. The move of every leftist authoritarian movement is to claim that its opposition is the real authoritarian movement. And now we must use extra legal measures to stop that from happening. Here is Hillary Clinton playing that routine on The View.
Speaker 6If we. Are successful in winning both the House and the Senate, which I hope we will be, then I think he's going to get even more out of control. Oh, because I think he's going to feel cornered. I think he's going to feel angry. I think he's going to be lashing out. But at least we will have some leverage to try to hold him to account. Yes. Through the Congress, which is what their job should be.
Speaker 1The thing that Democrats want to do is take the Congress. And then as we'll get. you in a minute, take the presidency. If they do that, then all of their political dreams come true, ranging from packing the Supreme Court to adding states to rigging federal elections via ballot harvesting. Well, the results are still murky. Again, we don't know what's happening today, but I can tell you what you need to be clear. Your cell phone coverage. Like what I did right there? Unlimited talk text, unlimited data, $29.95 a month for the rest of your life from our friends over at Pure Talk. Again, this is their top shelf plan. Now, normally it's $65 a month to get all of that. You're going to lock it in at just $29.95 a month for life. No contract, no cancellation fees. You already voted today, so now it's time for you to stop saving the country for a second and actually save yourself some money with better cell phone coverage at a better price from people who don't hate your guts. Head on over to puretalk.com slash Shapiro. Make the switch in as little as 10 minutes. Again, that's puretalk.com slash Shapiro and get unlimited data for life with Pure Talk. Tax and fees not included. Some restrictions apply. See puretalk.com for details. I've had Pure Talk myself for years, and as you can imagine, I value the reception. I value the fact that, you know, everything works the way it's supposed to, and they have great customer service, so you got a problem, you have somebody on the other end of the line you can talk to. Make the switch right now. Stop wasting your money and your time. Okay, other things that are on the ballot. Border control policy is on the ballot. Again, the signal move of the Trump administration. They came into office and they shut the southern border. The CBP has seized over 100 million lethal doses of fentanyl at the southern border in 2026 so far. They just seized another 152,000 pounds of meth. The DHS has completed about 1 million deportations between the start of the admin and this past summer. That included 190,000 with convictions or arrest records aside from illegal immigration. And there's another 1.5 million self-deportations, people whose visas are expiring. They're afraid CBP will take them and deport them, and so they've just left the country. And there's a move by this administration to move again toward legal immigration. based on merit and self-sufficiency. If you hate America, you shouldn't be able to come here. If you're coming here for the welfare, you shouldn't be able to come here. Democrats wish to reverse all of this. And they will attempt to inhibit DHS. They will try to defund DHS. They have pledged to do so. Here's former border control chief Raul Ortiz on CBS explaining that Democrats embraced chaos and the crisis of an open border.
Speaker 7Have you ever seen the border this quiet? No, never. You know, even after 9-11, when we pushed resources to the border, airports, to make sure that we didn't have another terroristic threat, we did not see the level of security that we're experiencing right now. At first, you know, I thought that it was, you know, the fact that they were ignoring what was happening here on the border. Then I started to realize that they were actually embracing what was happening here on the border. They were embracing the chaos and the crisis because it fulfilled their agenda. What do you mean by that? And to me, allowing the mass migration that occurred along our southwest border, not just here in South Texas, but in California and Arizona, that's exactly what some of the policymakers in the White House wanted.
Speaker 1And that, of course, is exactly that is what Democrats want. And that is at stake, too, because, again, one of the first things they will do is tie defunding of ICE to any funding of anything else. Borders are Tom Holman makes the point that when it comes to the midterms, he hopes that we're going to be able to do that. He hopes that people remember angel parents, because it turns out that the wages of illegal immigration are quite nasty.
Speaker 8Yes, I hope people don't forget the thousands of angel moms and dad who buried their children because they were killed by an illegal alien released from a jail. I hope they remember the images during the Biden administration, up to 12,000 illegal aliens come to that border. What they need to know under President Trump's leadership, we have the most secure border in the history of the nation. Not a single, not one illegal alien has been released from the border. Almost 18 months compared to the 12,000 day under Biden. Ice record number since President Trump's been in office. ICE has had over one point three million arrests. There's two point three million less illegal aliens in the country because of President Trump.
Speaker 1Hey, again, the fact here is that he is right and Democrats will do their damnedest if they get power to stop all of this. Again, Abdulrahman El-Sayed, who is the id of the Democratic Party at this point, the Senate Michigan candidate. He says. That he that I should be abolished. He said this openly in his original primary debate with Haley Stevens.
Speaker 9If not ice. How would we how should we how could we deal with the estimated millions of people in this country that didn't come through the proper channels that we don't necessarily know who they are, where they are? I'm going to start with you, Dr. El-Sayed with 60 seconds. What do we do with that situation?
Speaker 10So I just want to be clear. I went to Minneapolis at the height of Project. Metro surge. I watched as our government laid siege to a city in our own country. It was awful to see. Ice is not about immigration. Ice is not about the southern border. I was on the nearly the northern border. Ice is about normalizing paramilitary force on our streets. I've been clear that you can't reform ice. You can't retrain ice. You have to abolish ice.
Speaker 1Again, this is what Democrats want. And of course, all of this is part and parcel of an anti law enforcement belief on the part of Democrats. Woke is coming back. I've been warning you about this for years. At this point, people think that woke went into terminal remission back in 2024. Wrong. Woke simply went into hiding and it will reemerge full blown. Now, under President Trump, the DOJ fundamentally altered disparate impact is unconstitutional. They said that just because a federal policy does not end up with equal results for every racial group does not mean that it's discriminatory. You actually have to show discrimination. It was. It was the DOJ that decided to get rid of race gender quotas to get rid of the trans hysteria that suggested that you could not find man and woman. It was the Trump DOJ that cut one point seven billion dollars in funding allocated for DEI and climate activism. All of that has been made a part of the past. It will be a part of the future again if Democrats win. It will come back stronger than ever. And even moderate Democrats play this game. For example, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro widely touted as a sort of moderate Democrat. Here he was in June 2026 denouncing politicians while promoting the quote unquote trans children.
Speaker 11I'm guilty of letting emotion get in when I see politicians trying to score cheap political points off the well-being of trans kids in this commonwealth. And I need you to know that I take very seriously the defense of all God's children, our trans children, our gay children, our LGBTQ plus children. I'm guilty of letting emotion get in when I see politicians trying to score cheap political points off the well-being of trans children, our gay children, our gay children, our gay children, our gay children. Every one of you is loved and welcome here. And I will do everything in my power to protect you.
Speaker 1And again, this is what Democrats will do. Now, violent crime plunged 9.3 percent in 2025 in the United States. It's the largest annual rate of decline on record. And a huge part of this, just like trans identification, which has been in decline, a huge part of this is cultural. When you believe you can't get away with crime, you don't do crime. When you don't believe that you will be feeded and celebrated for pretending that a mental disability is a crime, you don't do crime. When you believe that a mental disorder is a form of liberation, then fewer people do it. And when it comes to violent crime, the 2025 murder rate is tied with 1955 and 1956 for the lowest murder rate since national crime estimates began. Murder and manslaughter dropped 18 percent, robbery 18.5 percent compared to 2024. Well, guess what? If Democrats regain power or if they're on the path to regaining power, get ready. Remember, James Tallarico, supposed moderate in Texas, he said that the murder of a gay person by a young white man, by a young black man, and the conviction of that young black man, Carmelo Anthony, was an aspect of American racism.
Speaker 12Right now, we've got a system that doesn't serve all Americans equally. And we know that black Texans have not gotten the justice they deserve in many cases. And, you know, I'm not an expert on this particular case, but I know that there were no black members of the jury. And to me, that's that's the only evidence you need to to. To really prove that this system is not working
Speaker 1for black Texans. Again, this is what Democrats actually believe. They actually believe that if a young black man kills a young white man and then is duly convicted because he committed the crime, then that must be an aspect of systemic racism. Now, I know Austin Metcalf's dad, and I promise you, I promise you, this is not just bullshit. It is evil bullshit. Pretending that murder is no longer murder, depending on the race of the person who does the murdering, is crazy. And it gets worse. If you think that woke 1.0 will just come back the way that it was, you know, with the trans radicalism and with the racial politics, what's coming next for the Democratic Party, if the Democrats win, is far, far, far worse. Way worse. Because what we are watching right now is a referendum, not just on Republicans, which is, you know, every midterm election, is a referendum on whether the Democratic Party can be loud and proud about their hatred of America and their embrace of third worldism. That is what the DSA thing. Really is about. Remember, the DSA will hide behind the kind of normal to America's rhetoric that goes all the way back to John Edwards running for president in 2004. There's nothing new about their sort of economic rhetoric, except there's more of a patina of socialism because Bernie's been saying it louder. But the real question for the Democrats is, are they a full scale Jeremy Corbyn Labor Party of Britain party now? Are they a party that believes that America is inherently evil on the world stage? That is, America is responsible for cruelty and malice. and genocide abroad, and that actually America must bend the and atone to a philosophy that says the third world is only the third world because the first world was mean to it. That is where we are going. And Democrats are fully embracing it. And we know what the future looks like if you have one major party in the United States that believes this and an entire educational system that promotes it. The future looks like Paris. And we know what Paris looks like right now. It's Molotov cocktails being chucked at the police. We know what the future looks like. It looks like Zurich, Switzerland. And Europe is just a picture of our future if the Democratic Party does not reverse course. Again, remember, the Democrats are full scale embracing this sort of stuff. One of the candidates who we've spent very little time on is a congressional candidate, but he is indicative of the broad swath of new Democrats. Democrats are entering Congress who either are totally united with folks like this or are unwilling to condemn them. And as we've seen from the Haley Stevens debacle for the Democrats, if you come out and you defend pro-jihadi, anti-Semitic, anti-Americanism, the Democratic Party will reject you. That is where we currently are. One of the candidates for Congress who's going to win is a man named Adam Hamali. According to The Atlantic, quote, if we are to assume that Adam Hamali's political coming of age included a turn away from such men as Abdel Rahman, the puzzle is why he does not talk candidly about that change of heart rather than continuing to insist that to ask such questions is hateful. So who is Abdel Rahman? Omar Abdel Rahman is a man called the blind sheikh. The blind sheikh was the man behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. And Adam Hamali was associated with him. Hamali described Abdel Rahman in the early 1990s as akin to a religious celebrity. Quote, this was a person who was really everywhere in New York and New Jersey. He was someone who led prayers and was known for his recitation of the Quran. I met him, Hamali said, like so many others. In 1991, the blind sheikh, again, a terrorist, was invited to speak at an Islamic conference in Detroit. Hamali joined him on the 13-hour drive there in a minivan along with five other men. Hamali described his decision to travel to Detroit as a sort of alarm. Quote, I was a last-minute carpool, he said in our interview. I'm a college student. He graduated from Rutgers earlier that year. It's a free ride to go somewhere. It wasn't like I was following him. Yet, Hamali testified during the blind sheikh's interview. He said, I'm a college student. I'm a blind sheikh. In 2005, Adam Hamali, again, this guy's going to be in Congress, journeyed to Gaza for another medical mission as Israeli bombs fell around him. He's been adamant in interviews that Hamas had no presence in or underneath the hospitals of Gaza, which is just a lie. It is just a lie. ABC News asked him about Israeli and U.S. intelligence that Hamas gunmen had access to Nasser Hospital. Quote, their intelligence is just wrong. By the way, Israelis in the spring of 2025 ordered staff and patients at the European hospital to leave and then bombed it directly. Afterward, Israel found the body of Mohammed Sinwar, then the military leader of Hamas in a tunnel that ran beneath the hospital emergency room. Again, Adam Hamali is just a terrorist sympathizer. This is perfect. And he will be sitting in Congress, period. And as a member of Congress, he will attempt to dismantle the American military. He's not being shy about this. He said so to fellow America hater Hassan Piker.
Speaker 13We are spending a trillion dollars, you know, on our defense slash Department of War, slash Department of War crimes now. And what we need to do is spend that in health care and spend it in education. We need to abolish ICE. And so not only do we need to, you know, abolish it, but we need to dismantle the DHS completely.
Speaker 1Understand when they talk about quote unquote funding, they are not interested in quote unquote refunding our programs. That is not the thing they're doing. This is a lie. The point of the defunding is the defunding, not where the money goes. Democrat. Democrats have not given a single crap about how to fund any of their debt ridden programs for literally 100 years in this country. The idea that Democrats are suddenly very concerned about how to fund health care. And so we must withdraw foreign aid or we must withdraw funding of the military or we must defund DHS. It's a lie. The point is the defunding. It's the thing they want. Representative Ro Khanna is already the leader of this caucus. He told Fox that he would actively vote to defund military operations while assets were still in the region. Right. He would actively vote to undercut funding of the aircraft carriers we have floating in the waters outside of the Strait of Hormuz. Would you defund U.S. military operations while we have assets in that region? I would stop the funding. The House and the Senate should stop the funding for any further actions in the Iran war. Again, this is the Democratic Party and this is not just about what they will do in the immediate term. It is about the transformation of the Democratic Party from a left-leaning mainstream party to a radical pro-jihadi party, a radical pro-socialism party, a radical green-red alliance party. It's Abdul El-Sayed sitting in the Senate, maybe on the Foreign Relations Committee with access to classified information. It's Derry Lisa Chevalier and Claire Valdez and Brad Lander and Milad Kirosh and Adam Hamawi. And again, what's worse, Democrats are openly running while being out and proud of their world, if they win, the entire Democratic Party becomes a Jeremy Corbyn-esque vehicle for third worldism. The moderates will be made to bow. They already are. And then every single presidential election will be a risk of the most powerful country on earth handing over that power to people who legitimately despise the country. That is what is at risk. That's the road that we are currently on. So Haley Stevens, who's been ripped up and down for the great crime of standing up against this, put out a statement yesterday on Twitter. And her statement yesterday on Twitter was all about the blowback that she has taken for standing up to the predations of Abdul Rahman El-Sayed. She said this, quote, My decision to withdraw my endorsement of Abdul El-Sayed and support Mike Rogers has angered many Democrats. I understand why, but it was not impulsive and it was not made for me by anyone else. It was a decision of conscience. I'm a proud Democrat. I believe in a woman's right to choose and organize labor and opportunity for working families and making government work for ordinary people. None of that has changed. I believe in a woman's right to choose and organize labor and I believe no one making under 70 grand should pay any federal income tax. We should have fixed rate utility bills. Every person in this country gets health care. After losing the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate, I did what I believed was right. Despite deep disappointment, mine and that of thousands of people who worked so hard for our campaign, I endorsed Abdul. I put the party first and hoped we could move forward together. Instead, I was shut out. The endorsement was welcome. The people behind it seemed to be forgotten. There was a little effort to listen to the voters who supported me or bridge the real disagreements our primary had exposed. I was prepared to accept that. Then came the ads. Some critics have dragged my fiance into this, suggesting he or others must have made my decision for me. Again, she is engaged to a Jewish man, and therefore the conspiracy theory goes that her boyfriend somehow bullied her into not endorsing the radical pro-Jihadi candidate. Think about what that says. A woman can serve in Congress, run statewide, and fight for her convictions and still be told that when she makes a choice people dislike, someone else must be pulling the strings. I made this decision. I am proud of it. Do not question my independence simply because you disagree with my opinion. I am proud of it. I am proud of it. I am proud of it. Mike Rogers and I disagree on many things, but Michigan has to elect a senator, and there is no neutral choice that absolves me of responsibility. Once I concluded that Abdul El-Sayed is not fit to serve in the U.S. Senate, I had to confront who should. And she is right about all that, and for that crime, she's being thrown out of the Democratic Party. And that is the future of the Democratic Party. That is why it is important that El-Sayed lose. It's important that the Democratic Party lose. Now, again, I have to point out at this point that there are some Republicans who are perfectly happy, perfectly happy to watch Republicans lose. They would love to see Republicans lose. Because again, this would mean that they can then bitch about the Republican Party from the outside, and then attempt to steer the conversation. Obviously, Tucker Carlson is one of those people who's been actively standing for Abdul El-Sayed. He's been actively standing for Zoran Mamdani, for Graham Plattner. So long as you're Nazi Totenkopf tattoo adjacent, or jihad adjacent, then Tucker Carlson is in your corner. Megyn Kelly, who again, has never found a parade, that's already going, that she can't jump in front of, has also decided to do the same thing. Now she is ripping into Haley Stevens, pretending that Haley Stevens has no principle. It must be that she's controlled by the Jew money.
Speaker 14Tucker's got to be condemned. Abdul's got to renounce his own rhetoric on the subject of Israel, a foreign country that is not the United States of America, that has been behaving very controversially, and it is fine to have negative opinions about, just like we do about our own government. Hello? But no, he's got to bow his earlier comments. And I'm sure it all has nothing to do with the fact that Haley Stevens has received $39 million from AIPAC, which is the lobby, the lobbying group supporting Israel and its interests, $39 million. So I think that the two offenses that Haley Stevens suffered that caused her to decide she wasn't endorsed by the Jewish government, she wasn't endorsed by the Thank you. abdul anymore she's now endorsing mike rogers are one abdul was pissed off by her clearly antagonistic statement and said don't bother coming to the unity event on sunday we're good i don't need you and two she's been paid a ton of money by a lobbying group that clearly really did want all of those things to be said by el sayed she couldn't get it and i know she was under enormous pressure by that group and others to disavow because they've decided that abdul is an anti-semite so i would
Speaker 1just like to point out at this point that on the day before the election tucker carlson was spreading rumors that the president was going to nuke iran and megan kelly was out in defense of abdul al-sayed and accusing hayley stevens of being in the pay of the nefarious jewish american donors from apac by the way apac donors supported hayley stevens against abdul al-sayed because he is a raging anti-jewish monster this is a guy who said when a terrorist drove a truck into a jewish preschool hurt people hurt people his allies ran ads suggesting that america was sending money to bomb palestinians and that's what was sending up the price of bananas but according to megan kelly the big offense here is hayley stevens i think we can all see what's going on here at this point and by the way the celebrities are out in force they're out in force in favor abdul al-sayed adam brody who again is just a ridiculous human being this this idiot actor he is campaigning for al-sayed in michigan he is using the platform given to him because he's on a dumb show on netflix called no one wants this which is about a reform rabbi dating a non-jewish woman who is in the process of reform conversion and so he's using that jewish tinged show as a platform to kind of speak as a jew even though he is as secular as secular can be he's a ham sandwich jew as we as say on the show here he was campaigning for abdul al-sayed in michigan oh hello adam brody of jennifer's body in the oc yes it is i is your wife layton meester of gossip girl also
Speaker 15here uh no no just me sorry oh right so
Speaker 16what business do you have in michigan
Speaker 15anyway well i'm here with swing left's ground truth helping to elect abdul to the senate and win back the house oh
Speaker 16so you want medicare for all period and money
Speaker 15out of politics yeah i would like that too okay
Speaker 16wow we have so much in common we both love progressive politicians and your beautiful
Speaker 11wife yeah i guess i guess i guess we do you're voting right well yes and you should too
Speaker 1well that was painful that was just brutally painful maybe you should stick to his day job bruce springsteen also jumping out in front i will never cease my amazement at the fact that people think born in the usa is a pro-america song read the lyrics sometime guys it's truly incredible how born in the usa has become this sort of like boomer anthem for america is the most anti-american song it's all about how america really really really sucks and when you're born in the usa you might get sent off to war randomly and dispossessed in any case bruce springsteen who's been masquerading as this for a while he put out a statement quote dr el sayed is a fighter for our american constitution oh is he he's a fighter for our american democracy oh interesting and he's a fighter against the corrupt lawless and anti-american leadership currently in the white house that's why i'm in his corner 100 says bruce springsteen oh and don't forget miss rachel is there miss rachel said she's threatening you miss rachel the creepy lady who wears the child's outfits and speaks in this kind of voice miss rachel quote this week i'll be unfollowing every celebrity and leader who hasn't spoken out about the genocide in gaza i hope you'll do the same oh no what will i do if the creepy lady in the child's outfit isn't following me i mean aside from feel reliable i'm going to be unfollowing every celebrity and leader who hasn't spoken out okay but this brings us to the state of the race again as i've said really important this is a very very important race because again this is all set up for 2028 let's say that the republicans lose the senate let's say they lose the house the republicans could lose another four or five seats in the senate come 2028 and most importantly if the republicans lose in ohio for example or in texas for example all it takes is a foot in the door for democrats for them to rev up their money machine and rev up their political power and their political power and their political power organization machine and suddenly texas is a purple state it's a battleground state and ohio is back to being a battleground state or if florida somehow underperforms florida is a battleground state again and then you got a real problem if you're republicans because a democrat triumvirate house senate and presidency we're talking adding states we're talking about packing the supreme court we're talking about rigging election laws i mean these are all things democrats are openly talking about and they're cleansing their own party of the moderating influences who would stop it right they want to throw john fetterman out they already basically threw joe manchin and they're going to throw joe manchin and they're going to throw joe manchin and kirsten cinema out who are the moderating influences inside the democratic party at this point if you're hayley stevens and you say sorry but the guy who's like muslim brotherhood adjacent is a bridge too far they throw you out and spit on you that's the problem okay so where do we stand in the race so according to our friends and sponsors over at calchi democrats are now heavily heavily favored to take the senate 78 shot the democrats take the senate now again all of that is based on sort of vibes and polls right those are the only two inputs vibes and polls so the vibes right now obviously very pro-democrat but a lot of that's being driven by the polls and so this raises the question are these polls overstating the democrat lead right now and we should point out that pretty much every major media outlet that is publishing the polls is saying yeah it definitely could be a thing so for example the new york times interviewed their pollster extraordinaire nate cone and they asked him let's start with a point-blank question should people trust these polls showing democrats running ahead why don't they trust these polls or neck and neck in red states and nate cone said you can trust them to a degree you can trust the polls to be usually in the ballpark but you can't trust them to be exactly right polls are inherently imprecise and subject to many sources of error that's true but he says if by trust you mean assume that the leading candidate will win the answer is no the polls have been wrong by the standard before they will be wrong again but if trust means relying the polls is the best source of information on the electorate even if an exact one the answer is yes okay so cool it's like better than nothing thanks super helpful by the way he also says quote the thing we've learned over the last decade and that the industry as a whole has learned is that even a perfectly designed survey will probably under represent trump supporters so what they're trying to do is wait the poll to thoroughly represent the population looking at past polls and all the rest of it but they're basically having to guess because republicans ain't picking up the phone the washington post reported the same thing republicans are not picking up the phone they're not picking up the phone dana bash over at cnn she openly admits it's possible the poll of michigan is wrong because republicans ain't picking up the phone
Speaker 17we just don't know how it's going to play out and there i think it's also fair to say that our pollsters are amazing and the pollsters who do the new york times poll are amazing but i think this is a race that is it is entirely possible that the polling is not totally picking up what is actually happening because i mean look at the primary polls it looked like el sayed was going to crush haley stevens and it was very
Speaker 1close okay and uh she may very well be right steve kornacki over at ms now he's pointing out that democrats remain really really unpopular this
Speaker 18is different from 2018 in 2018 the democrats as a party had much better numbers than this and that does raise a question voters out there who disapprove of trump aren't happy about where the economy is inflation are they willing to take the next step and vote for democrats given how unpopular democrats are as a party or does that keep the democrats from fully capitalizing on what otherwise for them is a very promising political climate now
Speaker 1again there are a lot of risks today so republicans this way you got to get out and vote even in states that you think are solid so i already went and voted because obviously i have to travel to tennessee today in order to do the election coverage but a lot of people white knuckling it even in florida according to axios florida once looked like a much safer republican bet for the midterms losing any statewide race would stun and embarrass its elite republican residents starting with president trump florida governor desantis said that turnout is not as strong as they would like to see at this point the biggest concern is the gubernatorial race where byron donalds is supposed to clean david jolly donald has raised far more money 176 million dollars versus 28 for jolly there's some early turnout data that's making republicans a little nervous republicans lead democrats in early ballots cast by three percentage points as of sunday morning which is lower than in the past two general elections but again i think that it would be it would be a shocker if republicans were to in fact lose any of those statewide races in florida the fact we're even talking about it is obviously not a great sign if that's a sort of national trend now we need to go through quickly where we stand in the current races so you head on over to daily wires election hub election wire and you can see where things currently stand so take alaska in alaska peltola and dan sullivan the real dan sullivan are dead even in the polling average over at daily wire we've got peltola up by 1.1 points so again dead heat peltola continues to claim she had no idea if her campaign was part of a conspiracy to put a second dan sullivan on the ballot this is a a way to avoid legal liability this is not a denunciation of the tactic for sure is
Speaker 19it possible that anybody in your campaign was potentially part of that conspiracy to plant dan jay i have no idea idea. I honestly have no idea. The reason this is offensive to me on a number of different levels. First of all, this is Alaska. We're not in the business of tricking each other up here.
Speaker 1Hey, so you're not in the business of tricking each other? I mean, I think that's literally your business, actually. Just going to point that out. One Anchorage voter admitted that he might have just voted for the wrong Dan Sullivan.
Speaker 19I don't remember seeing the other Dan Sullivan. I totally forgot to look for two Dan Sullivan. The two were together on the ballot. Yeah. You didn't notice that? I might be just having a brain freeze, but I don't remember the second Dan Sullivan.
Speaker 1So, yeah, not great. So, Alaskans should punish Mary Peltola. I believe that Dan Sullivan is going to win that race. Take it to Florida. Again, there is no way that Angie Nixon is going to win the race in Florida. Right now, the polling average from Daily Wire has Ashley Moody, the Republican incumbent, up 5.6 percentage points. It's going to be bigger than that because Angie Nixon is a nut job. Here she was on Zateo with the disreputable Mehdi Hassan.
Speaker 20We can't continue to say we want to turn out black voters and we don't invest in the black community. We don't have a black agenda. We can't continue to say we are supportive of the black community and we don't spend our dollars with black consultants or, you know, with black radio, black news, black, yeah, just, you know, black radio. Black newspapers, black news stations and that type of thing. And so it's more that has to be done.
Speaker 1Okay, so again, I have serious doubts that that one is as close as people are making it out to be. Meanwhile, in Ohio, Sherrod Brown has a very, very narrow lead over John Husted. Now again, Ohio has been quite red in the past, but the senatorial elections have been very close. Sherrod Brown lost in the last election cycle to Bernie Moreno, but only by a few percentage points. J.D. Vance, only won his Senate seat by a few percentage points. That one is really, really, really tight. There are two big races that are actually happening inside Ohio right now. Obviously, one is the senatorial race. We have undercover gubernatorial races. Obviously, one of those races that is currently taking up an enormous amount of attention is the race for governor in Ohio where Vivek Ramaswamy has been running against Amy Acton. As I've said before, you can hate the Vivek Ramaswamy ad using Amy Acton's mom. I'm not a big fan. I've also said that I think that a huge number of Democrats who are proclaiming their deep unease with the ad would be perfectly fine if the party labels were reversed. With that said, the question for Ohioans is, do you actually want Amy Acton as your governor? You know, the COVID shutdown lady? I mean, here she was giving a stump speech the other day. It wasn't great.
Speaker 21Over $125 million and counting. Full of lies. Dick Celeste said they're lying and buying the way they are. But all that money, it never moved the needle one inch. It didn't work.
Speaker 1I don't even know what language she's speaking. I don't know what was happening there. And if there's intoxication, I don't know what's happening there. Meanwhile, again, like Vivek or hate Vivek, the things he's promising for the state are better. Here was Vivek Ramaswamy.
Speaker 22The biggest property tax cut you've ever seen in the history of our state. Coming next year to Ohio. We're going to fight for you to combat Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse by the billions to put that money back into your pockets where it belongs. And we're going to end sanctuary cities while we're at it. Ending the breakdown of the rule of law in this state.
Speaker 1Okay, so again, we'll see where that ends up. Ohio is key because if Ohio were to turn up blue and Ohio were to follow the path of say Arizona and Georgia, Georgia, by the way, Keisha Lance Bottoms could win. Georgia, which is crazy. She's a horrible mayor of Atlanta. She's running a neck and neck race in Georgia right now. A lot of Republicans underperforming. You're talking about taking states off the table or at least putting them in play for Democrats that should not be on the table in 2028. Speaking of which, if Texas were to start to go blue, this is, of course, the Democrat dream. If Texas were to start to go blue and if Democrats were able to gain Texas, New York and California, basically, there's no way for Republicans to ever win a presidential election again. That's why the Tallarico race matters an awful lot. This is the first step toward that right now. The election wire polling average has the Democrat James Tallarico up about three points. Now, again, I think Tallarico loses that race. Texas is very, very heavily red. But it is amazing to watch James Tallarico pretend that major American companies are only successful because of taxpayers or something. Here is Tallarico claiming that Tesla has only been made successful because of taxpayer dollars, which is not true.
Speaker 12And I think the thing that really upsets people, particularly about the Elon example, is that Tesla was successful because of taxpayer dollars, right? Tesla got investment from the federal government, which is why it has been so successful. And so if we're all going to invest in Tesla, if we're going to invest in Elon Musk or picture billionaire, right? Most of our billionaires, you know, they went to schools that we funded. They drove on highways that we funded. They benefited from infrastructure that we all built together. And we're not saying they can't be successful. All we're saying is that make sure you give something back. Give something back to the country that made your success possible. Make sure there's a ladder for the next guy coming up, right? I mean, I think that we should be investing and taking a chance on the CEOs in their garage, not the CEOs on their mega yacht.
Speaker 1He's so obnoxious. Again, this is the same routine that Joe Biden was pushing, right? I'm not saying that.
Speaker 23I'm not saying that. Oh, hey, that way you can't be successful. I'm just saying, leave patriotic. Give back all your money.
Speaker 1By the way, James Tallarico's own girlfriend's father says he's not moderate. He's going to do all of the non-moderate things.
Speaker 24He's not going moderate. He's not going to the middle. Don't put too much stock into border security comments. He's offended by ICE and the Gestapo when we should be welcoming people here. He and I have spoken about these issues. James isn't going. He's not going middle. He's a progressive.
Speaker 1That's right. He is. That was James O'Keefe's undercover organization unlocking that audio there. Michigan, obviously, Abdul El-Sayed. This is the one where we're going to see if the polling fail is very large. Right now, the Cal State market suggests an over 80% shot that El-Sayed wins the seat against Mike Rogers. We'll have to see how that goes. And I'm much more doubtful of that one. If you're going to go vibes over polls, then that would be the vibes over polls election. So this is the one that's really dangerous for the country. Again, less dangerous for Republicans if he wins in the sense that that's dangerous for the country. He wins the Democratic seat already, so it's not a flip. But with that said, El-Sayed is a leading edge of the Democratic Party, showing that you can unapologetically hate the country, unapologetically and unabashedly provide justifications for Islamic terrorism, unabashedly provide rhetorical support for the Iranian regime, and still be elected to a major battleground state Senate seat. That would be the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party as a mainstream party. Just in terms of ideology. Now, things they could still win, which is the disaster area here. Now, according to ElectionWire, he has an almost six-point advantage in the election. Meanwhile, he has the support of people like Ta-Nehisi Coates. Ta-Nehisi Coates is a truly terrible writer who has somehow manipulated public opinion into the belief that he is the second coming of James Baldwin. If James Baldwin were a drunken hobo half in a coma, then he might write like Ta-Nehisi Coates. Whatever you think of James Baldwin, he was actually a good writer. Ta-Nehisi Coates, a horrible writer and also a terrible thinker, has an entire piece labeling Haley Stevens a violent chauvinist power in Vanity Fair. The campaign of hate of which El-Sayed is the latest victim has a simple goal to render Muslims and Arabs more killable. So apparently Haley Stevens wants to kill Arabs because she opposes Abdur Rahman El-Sayed. He calls Gaza a concentration camp. He calls it a genocide. And then he says, quote, this is the state that Haley Stevens has claimed to literally see in her dreams is ultimately the defense of the state that drove Stevens into the arms of Mike Rogers. It's a story about Stevens waking up and choosing violence. Again, this is who the Democratic Party is becoming. Speaking of waking up and choosing violence, it is not a coincidence that according to the Washington Free Beacon, the top Lebanese diplomat in Detroit who attends in an Arab American banquet in support of Abdul El-Sayed and other Democratic candidates last week praised Hezbollah's 1983 suicide attack on the U.S. Marine Corps barracks that killed 241 American service members. So again, one of the attendees at a banquet in support of Abdul El-Sayed, his name is Ibrahim Charara, celebrates the heroic resistance and the defeat of neocolonialism. This is who El-Sayed's base is. That, of course, is from October 2021. Right? Amazing, amazing stuff. And this, again, is who the Democrats are all rallying behind. One of his former campaign workers, by the way, was just indicted for terrorizing Michigan's Jewish community. Mariam Oda, 24, was one of eight included in the original rounds of indictments by the U.S. Attorney's Office for allegedly threatening University of Michigan officials in an attempt to force the school to cut ties with Israel. So, get ready. This is who Democrats would love to see take that Michigan Senate seat. So, yes, this election is really, really, really important.
