Ep. 2536 - THIS Talarico Clip Is The Dumbest Thing On The Internet

The transcript is a long-form political and cultural commentary program that blends entertainment promotion with election analysis and partisan advocacy. It opens with a promotional segment for The Terminalist Season 2 on Prime Video, praising the show's focus on the people behind military missions and its commitment to authenticity through real-world military experience. The transcript then shifts into political advertising urging viewers in key Senate battleground states to vote early for Republican candidates, framing the midterms as a defense against socialism. The host analyzes several races, arguing that many polls are within the margin of error and that Republican turnout will determine the outcome. Considerable attention is given to Texas, where James Talarico is portrayed as disconnected from voters on cultural issues, and to Michigan, where Abdul El-Sayed is criticized for his views and associations. The program also examines Israeli election results, arguing that Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc outperformed expectations and that the opposition failed to form a majority. Additional segments cover Hasan Piker's defamation lawsuit against Scott Jennings, Candace Owens' partial legal dismissal, Hunter Biden's personal history, Paul Pierce's financial troubles, and Flavio Bolsonaro's departure to the United States. The overall tone is opinionated and partisan, mixing news commentary with advertising for various products and services.

Speaker 1Folks, a military thriller can give you elaborate conspiracies, international threats, and enormous action sequences. But if you don't actually care about the people who carry out the mission, none of that means much. And this is why The Terminalist is awesome. The people behind the mission. It's just great. The show is awesome. I love Terminalist. It really is great. Chris Pratt returns as Navy SEAL Commander James Reese in The Terminalist Season 2, now streaming only on Prime Video. It's adapted from Jack Carr's best-selling novel, True Believer. This season sends Reese into a fight that tests his loyalty, his sense of purpose, and the bonds with the brothers he thought he'd left behind. Tom Hopper returns as Rafe Hastings, who's an awesome character, alongside returning favorites Constance Wu, Dar Salim, and Luke Hemsworth, with Gabriel Luna joining the cast as Freddie Strain. And the commitment to military authenticity goes way beyond putting somebody in the right uniform. Real-world military experience is embedded throughout the production, from the writer's room and the director's chair to technical advisors, on-screen roles. This is realistic stuff. The people making this series are committed to getting it all right for the people who have actually lived it. And that matters when you're telling a story about what it asks of individuals, what it asks of their families, and the sacrifices that very rarely we get to see. Of course, you're going to get the high-stakes thriller, but you're also going to get a story about loyalty, impossible choices, and the brotherhood forged under extraordinary pressure. Watch The Terminalist Season 2 only on Prime. The Democratic Socialists of America won primaries across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress, and they are coming for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen the border, force men into women's sports. That's just the beginning. You are the last line of defense. GOPvotes.org is your partner in the fight. Go to GOPvotes.org right now. Make a plan to vote early. If you live in the critical Senate battleground states of Alaska, Michigan, Maine, Ohio, Iowa, or Texas, early voting is already underway this week, like right now. Democrats are energized. The stakes have never been higher. We can't afford to have people like AOC and her communist friends running the show. This is why I need you to make a plan to vote early right now. Go to GOPvotes.org to find your polling location, vote early, and stop the socialist takeover of America. Paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. It's more on this in a moment. First, there is a point where enjoying good food starts feeling like a budgeting exercise. You find a restaurant you love. The bill arrives. You realize that trying a new restaurant has become a pretty serious financial commitment. That's one reason that CookUnity caught my attention. The experience is surprisingly close to what people actually want from restaurants in the first place. Genuinely good food made by real chefs. CookUnity is the first chef-led meal delivery service that prepares meals in small batches inside local micro kitchens across the country instead of producing them in giant factories. And honestly, you can tell because the meals don't feel mass-produced. The food tastes like somebody actually cooked it because somebody actually did. CookUnity works with Michelin-starred chefs, James Beard Award winners, Food Network personalities who create meals that are then prepared in local kitchens and delivered fresh, never frozen. My wife and I, we like to order out Vietnamese sometimes, and the food is really good. CookUnity probably has it and probably has it better, to be honest with you. There are hundreds of meals to choose from. The menu is constantly changing. Whether you're looking for a high-protein options, gluten-free meal, or a high-protein option, pescatarian dishes, Mediterranean food, Italian food, Mexican food, Thai food, or just something different from your normal routine, there are lots of options. Taste what happens when real award-winning chefs make fresh, small-batch meals just for you. Go to CookUnity.com slash Ben, or enter code Ben before checkout to get 50% off your first order. Speaker 2So here is the deal. That is Jordan Klepper of
Speaker 1Comedy Central mocking Texans for not believing that God is non-binary. The coastal elites have literally no idea how to interact with people who actually believe in God, who think outside their frame on the universe. In fact, one might say that they are penises about it. And this is why, despite the polls, Republicans may be in better position than you think. So The Daily Show deployed Jordan Klepper, who is a pseudo-comedian, to Texas to talk with Paxton voters and defend the James Tallarico God is non-binary line. Now, even Tallarico has walked away from that line because Tallarico realizes it's a stupid thing to say. Again, claiming that he has a human sex is a different thing from saying that God is non-binary. Non-binary is a description used for people who actually are sexed, meaning a man who believes that he is neither man nor woman, or a woman who believes that she is neither male nor female. That is what non-binary means in human terms. To use that sort of language to describe God is to commit a massive category error and to essentially give the go-ahead to the ridiculous idea that human beings can be non-binary. That is why James Tallarico did it in the first place. But Jordan Klepper decides that he is going to go mock a bunch of Texans for not believing that God is non-binary. And here's what it sounded like.
Speaker 2I don't like Tallarico. Why is that? He would say God is non-binary. That is not true. No. What is God? Nobody knows what God is. Oh, so God can't fit into one category. No, he can't. So it'd be ridiculous to put him into one category or another category. There should be a term for that if you can't put a God into one specific category.
Speaker 3Yeah. God having multiple sexes and all of this.
Speaker 2So God doesn't have multiple sexes.
Speaker 3What is God? He said, God is, I am. What is the gender of I am? Why does there necessarily have to be a gender at all? Wasn't that the point Tallarico was making?
Speaker 2No. No. Feels like you're a Tallarico guy. No, I'm not.
Speaker 1Okay. Again, this is because Jordan Klepper does not understand how religious people describe God. There are a bunch of human descriptors that do not apply to God. When you say that God is powerful, you don't mean that God is bodybuilding in the gym. And when you say that God has no sex, you don't mean that he is a person with a sex who will not describe himself as a male, for example, which is what non-binary means. And mocking people who understand what God is supposed to be in the Bible is a hell of a way to try and drive Texans to vote for James. Again, even Tallarico is running away from. But here is Klepper making penis jokes about God. Great way of driving, of driving people to Tallarico. Just an amazing way of doing this.
Speaker 2God is male. God is male. Okay. Where does it say God is male in the Bible?
Speaker 4Well, it's the son of God. You say son, that means male, period.
Speaker 2So he's got all the male parts and everything. Obviously. Yeah. Yeah. Obviously. What's, what's God packing? What's God packing? Come again. What's God packing? What's God packing? His word, his holy word. His holy word. But how big is that holy word? It's everything. It's a hundred percent. Unlimited value on God's word. Unlimited value. Don't shower next to that guy.
Speaker 5He's a man. God is the father. God is the father.
Speaker 2So God has the man parts.
Speaker 5Yes. Yes. Yes.
Speaker 2Yes. How big is God's?
Speaker 5I don't know, darling.
Speaker 2In the, in the book of Genesis, God is preferred as a he. God's male. Yes. Okay. So does that mean he's a man? So does that mean he has male parts? I mean, there's only one way to find out is when you meet him. Are you hoping for that? Uh, yes. I'm, I'm hoping to meet God one day.
Speaker 1Again, this is just, it's the mocking and the sill, and the silliness of all of this. First of all, my understanding of the New Testament is that Jesus took human form. If he took human form, that means he had a human body, which means that yes, you would have, you know, all the male parts when he was in human form. I mean, that's sort of the premise, but if you're even speaking beyond that, if you're citing to the old Testament, the descriptions of God as male in the old Testament are because there are certain attributes that are more male, like for example, justice, and there are certain attributes that are more female. So for example, we called in Hebrew, which comes from the same root as womb, because the, the sort of sensation of, of mercy and compassion tends to be a more female attribute. None of this lines up with non-binary, but here's the thing. James Tallarico agrees with Jordan Klepper. He's a coastal elite in his views of morality and the Bible. His version. Of the Bible, there's literally no resemblance to the version believed in and practiced by most Texans. There is one Hispanic Trump supporter on explaining why he is not a Tallarico fan.
Speaker 4What I don't like about Tallarico is that he's for the trans, the mutilation of young kids, defunding the police, and so on. And, and, and we, there has to be. A law and order in this, in this state, in this country.
Speaker 1Okay. So, um, that is why most people are not in favor of Tallarico, I think, in Texas. It's why I think Tallarico is still running an uphill race. Ken Paxton, by the way, who's the Republican opponent of Tallarico, he announced that there would be a move toward a detransition clinic establishment in Texas Children's Hospital. There'd be a multidisciplinary clinic that provides medical care to patients who previously underwent gender transition interventions. Again, this is something that Paxton is announcing. It offers detransition related medical care to patients through age 21, along with detransition related obstetric and gynecologic care to patients older than 21. So that is much more in line with what Texans believe about a biological sex than what James Tallarico says. And James Tallarico is far left on, on pretty much all the issues. This is why one of the things that you are seeing in the, in the polling data and also in the prediction markets. You're seeing Tallarico. Rico, who is up as we'll get to in the polling data, in the prediction markets. Prediction markets restricted to people who actually live in Texas actually favor Paxton right now. It's the prediction markets that include national audiences in like California and New York that say that Tallarico is going to win. It'll be fascinating to see how this thing actually turns out. But Tallarico is disconnected from the generalized values of Texas. It's possible Paxton is a bad enough candidate that Tallarico is able to vault over the finish line. But these policies are not in line with what Texans believe.
Speaker 6In a case that someone crosses over illegally here, it doesn't really apply for asylum or can find that legal status here. What comes next? Well, we have to hire more immigration judges so that we can process these asylum claims and weed out fraudulent ones.
Speaker 1Okay, so he just wants to keep the vast majority here because how exactly does he plan on doing any of that? Meanwhile, Tallarico has poured extraordinary gobs of money into his own race and other people have from the coast. He is out there trying to rip on Elon Musk for spending a lot of money in Texas. Well, the reason that Elon Musk is spending a lot of money in Texas is not just because TerraFab is going to be built in Texas, but also because James Tallarico is spending an awful lot of money in Texas. Here's Tallarico going after Elon Musk.
Speaker 6Well, apparently it is for sale as long as Tallarico is doing the buying, according
Speaker 1to USA Facts. The top spending candidate in America is James Tallarico, $114 million, $114 million in his current campaign, which is pretty astonishing. And that is a huge, huge number. In fact, the top spending candidates, according to USA Facts, are pretty much all Democrats. John Ossoff spending $89 million in Georgia, Sherrod Brown spending $57 million in Ohio, Abdul El-Sayed spending $41 million in Michigan. Democrats accounting for about $1,400, of the 2,600 congressional candidates have spent $1.7 billion. Republicans have spent $1.1 billion. If you're talking about money in politics, Democrats are dumping it in. President Trump is going after Tallarico in Texas on the basis of his policy. He says, get rid of the guns, get rid of the oil, get rid of the meat, but transgender mutilization of your children and open borders are okay. This is what Tallarico stands for, and this is where he's going to help take Texas if he wins, which he won't. Ken Paxton is the greatest attorney general in Texas history. He deserves to be your senator. So this takes us to where we currently stand in the midterms. And you should go check out the Daily Wire's election hub because it is an extraordinary tool. We're using the same pollsters as real clear polling. And the way that we actually do our poll averages is we use a weighted average of the past two to three months of polls per race and polls lose half their weight each week. So the recent polls count a lot more than a lot of the earlier polls. Polls that are within five points, poll averages are classified as a toss up on our map. You know, Democrats in Texas, they say that God is apparently non-binary and that it's time to trans the kids. None of that sounds, you know, medically good. It doesn't sound great, but I'll tell you what is. It's Pendulum Metabolic Daily. So several of our producers and editors have started taking Pendulum Metabolic Daily. It's a science-backed probiotic designed to support your body's natural GLP-1 response. So it helps you feel fuller longer and experience fewer cravings and make it easier to stay on track with your health goals. Just one capsule a day with food. So if you take a look at the midterm website that we've put up, our election wire, which is a great tool. It is a great way to access all the information that you need. Take a look, for example, at Texas. Since we're talking about Texas, you click into Texas and what you see is the James Tallarico in this polling average has a 3.6 percentage point lead. That is a margin of error. That's a margin of error race. Kalshi, by the way, one of our sponsors and friends, Kalshi, says the Tallarico has 65% odds of winning that seat. But I went back and I actually looked and it turns out that if you have 65% odds in a Kalshi political market in a Senate race, well, you know, it's not certainly guaranteed that you're going to win that seat. Again, there's a sort of recursive loop that happens between the polling and some of the prediction markets back to the polling, back to the prediction markets. And so you can have a sort of overenthusiastic response to current polling data. The real question in Texas, as always, is going to be, do Texas Republicans actually show up? If they do, Tallarico gets smoked. If they don't, Tallarico could theoretically win. Now you move on over to Michigan and you can see that Abdul El-Sayed has a very narrow 2.9 percentage point lead over Mike Rogers. Now, again, according to those Kalshi markets, 69% of the money says El-Sayed. Again, I think that is an exaggeration of where El-Sayed is in this race. At this point, El-Sayed has been spending his time campaigning in heavily black areas of Michigan, which means he is lagging in those areas. You move on over to Maine. Maine shows Troy Jackson with a 4.3 percentage point lead on Susan Collins. But the Kalshi markets only have Jackson at a 61% advantage. And that's basically a toss-up race. Collins is a pro. Jackson is not. I do not think that Jackson is going to end up walking away with that seat. Ohio, which we haven't discussed very much on the show, because I think Sherrod Brown has been running a pretty good race there. Still, the advantage for Sherrod Brown is very narrow, like 2.9 percentage points. The Kalshi markets, again, have a 68% advantage for Sherrod Brown in that race. But that is a margin of error race. Move on over to Iowa. We're just running through all the battleground states right now. Ashley Hinson is trailing in that race by 0.2 percentage points. But the Kalshi markets have her up 56% favorite in Iowa. Iowa is a very, very heavily red state. Again, this is where you start to get into the polls not being, I would say, particularly accurate. Head on over to South Carolina. South Carolina, right now, according to our election wire map, says that Democrats have an advantage in South Carolina. No freaking way. The Kalshi markets here, I think, will be more predictive. They say 74% shot that Darlene Graham, Lindsey Graham's sister, ends up with that Senate seat. And then if you move on over to Alaska, what you see is that Peltola is up very, very slightly in the polls. Again, we're just running through all the states. We're just running through all the states. Again, margin of error states. Kalshi says 73% shot that Peltola wins. So again, maybe there's some over-exuberance in the prediction markets. Bottom line is all the polls are margin of error. And as we'll examine in a moment, when you move all over the globe, it turns out the margin of error means an awful lot. The polls can be off. If the polls are off by as much as they were off in 2018, Republicans could sweep all of these seats. And so trying to get through the vibes and trying to get through all the polls, bottom line is this. We don't know anything. If you have not voted, you should go vote right now. Ezra Klein did a show with Nate Silver talking about vibes and polls. And one of the things that Ezra Klein was pointing out with Nate Silver is the vibes in the polls are not really aligning right now. The vibes are a democratic wave. The polls say this thing is like dead even, basically going into the midterms in the Senate.
Speaker 7There is almost no connection between who are the candidates who are everywhere, you know, on social media and my feeds and who are the candidates who are doing particularly well or poorly, at least in polls.
Speaker 8Yeah, look, some candidates have different incentives. If you want to run for president in 2028, then you probably want a somewhat higher profile, potentially. I think in a case like Tallarico or El-Sayed, they kind of inescapably feel that they're going to get the maximum amount of attention anyway. But look, there's something to be said for kind of keeping a lower profile, too. You know, maybe Ohio is an example of that. Maybe Ohio is an example of that. Maybe Ohio is a bit. And what Nate Silver is saying
Speaker 1there is if you're a Democrat who's receiving all the attention, like, say, James Tallarico. and Abdul El-Sayed, and for all the wrong reasons, that could really hurt you in a race. Meanwhile, if you head on over to Iowa, where Josh Turek is running a pretty live race because he is basically running as a moderate Republican, maybe he has a better shot. It'll be interesting to see how all of this charts out. Now, one of the things to remember about the Senate, it's a very small sample size. The number of actual battleground states in this senatorial election, truly it's five, maybe six. It could theoretically expand it out to maybe Minnesota or New Hampshire, but it's a pretty small number of races. That sample size means that things could go any which way. That is not true when it comes to the House. And right now, the House polling shows a lot of vulnerable seats for the Republicans. The RealClearPolitics average 2026 generic congressional vote shows Democrats with a heavy, heavy advantage. The heavy advantage has been evident since basically the middle of the summer. Currently, they have probably, an eight-point advantage on the Republicans in the generic congressional vote. Now, again, if they're off by four points, then a bunch of seats that would have gone Democrat will not. Now, again, right now, the GOP currently holds 218 seats in the House, an incredibly narrow majority that Mike Johnson has done an excellent job of cobbling together in terms of being able to get things done. The RealClearPolitics polling average has Dems picking up some 25 House seats, maybe 26 toss-up races total. So it means they would pick up nearly all of the toss-up races. There are some bellwethers and toss-ups. We ought to go through just so you know what to look for next week in the election. Pennsylvania's first district, Bucks County, has Brian Fitzpatrick, the Republican incumbent, versus Bob Harvey. Now, again, it'll be interesting to see how that one stacks up. Meanwhile, Maine's second district, that's rural Maine, it's an open seat of Paul LePage, Republican, versus Matt Dunlop, the Democrat. Right now, LePage is favored slightly to win there. Trump won that district by nine points in 2024. And some of the early districts, on the East Coast, are going to show you exactly how far people are willing to stray from their Trump prior. So if it was a heavily Trump district in 2024 and it shifts 11, 12, 13 points, it'll be a very good night for Democrats. If it was a Trump plus 10 and the Republican wins by five, that doesn't tell you a whole hell of a lot. One of the early districts that's going to come open is Kentucky 6. That's in Lexington. It's an open seat. It's one of the earliest results on election day. This was 60-40 for the GOP in the 2024 House race. The city of Lexington alone went Harris 60-40 in the presidential. So again, that is Ralph Alvarado versus Zach Dembo. Alvarado's the Republican. Will be interesting to see how that one comes down. Keep an eye also on the Florida 27. That's Miami district. Maria Salazar, who's an incumbent, versus Elliot Rodriguez. That's a toss-up race. It's a heavily Latino seat. One of the fascinating elements of this particular election cycle is how the Hispanic vote is going to break. Remember, the Hispanic vote broke heavily in favor of President Trump in the 2024 election. Since then, largely because of ICE operations and some of the rhetoric of the administration, the Hispanic vote has been moving steadily out of the Republican camp and back toward the Democratic camp. That's less true of Cuban Americans in Florida than it is true of Mexican Americans in the south of Texas. Speaking of, Texas's 34th district, which is working-class Latinos in the Rio Grande Valley. I actually went and campaigned down there during the last election cycle with Ted Cruz. That's Vincente Gonzalez. That's a Democratic incumbent versus Myra Flores. The Republican. It leans Democrat, but it's a redrawn district that voted for Trump plus 10. So that redistricting was largely based on the notion that the Hispanic vote had moved heavily in Trump's favor. If that moves away, and if Republicans then lose some of these redistricts that were drawn, like Texas 34 or Texas 35, well, then that's going to be a bad night for Republicans and portends some problems for 2028. Because as you look forward past this current congressional election and toward the 2024 election, it's going to be a bad night for Republicans. And toward the presidential election in 2028, you start to think about what happens if that Republican percentage of the vote shifts from the high 40s all the way down into the low 30s, for example. And then you have a real problem on your hands. There are a couple of other districts that are worth discussing. White working-class, non-college-educated districts like the Ohio 9th in Toledo. The incumbent there is a Democrat named Marcy Kaptur. She's running against Derek Marin. It leans Democrat, but it is a redrawn district. So that redistricting is a redrawn district. But it is a rematch, very, very narrow rematch. The district is redrawn to favor Republicans. Trump won that district, the new district, by 6.7 points in 2024. So if the Democrat wins that district, that would be an indicator that even working-class voters are moving toward the Democrats or a lot of Republican working-class voters are staying home. Similarly, the Pennsylvania 8th, which is Scranton-Wilkes-Barre, that is Rob Bresnahan, Republican incumbent versus Paige Cognetti, Democrat. That's a margin-of-error race. Trump won that district by 8.4 points. If that goes Democrat, then again, the Democrats are going to have a good night. We keep an eye on this sort of stuff because this way you know sort of how to watch these races as they unfold. Now again, the Senate is much more competitive than the House right now. There are a lot of vulnerable districts for Republicans. The Senate is still very much up for grabs. So if you have not voted yet, again, you need to go vote. The National Republican Senatorial Committee is cutting out the Senate. I'm going to add four GOP senators. Here's what it looked like.
Speaker 4We take them to the mud and choke them out.
Speaker 6God is non-binary. Assalamu alaikum. My name is Peggy Flanagan.
Speaker 9Mary, would you like to respond to the New York Times article? Corruption in D.C.
Speaker 10Shady outlaw. I want her locked up and punished.
Speaker 11I think we need a progressive taxation rate in place. I don't oppose Medicare.
Speaker 6Our trans community needs abortion care, too. We need to build a big tent. To end Republican control over the Senate.
Speaker 1You can stop them. Last chance to hold the line and save America. And then it has a list of Republican candidates in battleground states. The time is now. Again, that is right. The Democrats are not running their best candidates in a wide variety of these races. And that means go out and vote. And don't be taken in by all of the push polling or the general media narrative that if a candidate is up two points in a margin of error race, where the margin of error is four points, that means that this thing is over. Blue wave is coming. This thing is still very much up for grabs. Early voting is open pretty much everywhere. So if you can vote early, you should. You just don't know what Election Day is going to bring. Go out and vote right now. We've been talking about this. We've been talking a lot about the polls here in the United States and about the fact that there is polling error and also margin of error. And the polls are sometimes just dead wrong. They're just wrong. Well, that's exactly what happened in Israel last night. So pretty much all of the polls, except for the so-called Channel 14 poll, there are a bunch of different Israeli channels. Most of them lean left. There's one that leans right, kind of the Fox News of Israel called Channel 14. Pretty much all of the polls in Israel had suggested that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his coalition would end up smaller than the opposition, the so-called change coalition. That is not how things actually broke down. So the Kalshi odds, again, Kalshi is one of our sponsors. And according to the Kalshi odds, you can see the radical change in what people believed was going to happen in the Israeli elections between a couple of days ago and now. So a few days ago, you can see that Gadi Eizenkot as the next prime minister of Israel, he was up in the 45 to 50% range. The no one, meaning like there's going to be another future election, was down in the 0% range. And then over the course of the evening, Eizenkot plummeted below Netanyahu. Netanyahu is now at 25%. Eizenkot is down at 14%, down 43 points. No one, meaning probably a future election or months of struggle. That's up at 56%. It turns out that the results of the Israeli election, the ballots are still coming in. There are some 600,000 outstanding ballots, what are called double envelope ballots, meaning from members of the military who are currently serving, or people who voted in a place that they weren't registered to vote. Those ballots have yet to be counted. But bottom line is this. Prime Minister Netanyahu survives. He will remain the prime minister of Israel as an interim prime minister, or at the head of some sort of coalition government. To the great consternation of all of his enemies, to the great consternation of the left-wing media, to the great consternation of Barack Ravid personally, there are a lot of people who are very, very, very upset. He didn't survive because somehow he rigged the election, or because he is a dictator, or the rest of that. He survived because it turns out the Israeli public is a right-wing, middle-to-right public. That is just the reality. We talked about this yesterday on the program. 65% of Israeli Jews openly call themselves right-wing, and another 10% call themselves moderate. Only 22% of Israeli Jews consider themselves left-wing. So what happened in the election last night is that the opposition took its best shot at Netanyahu, and they came up short. Now, that doesn't mean that, Netanyahu has a governing coalition. Again, to sort of review briefly here, we should, again, explain how the system works in Israel. So basically, 120 seats in the parliament. You vote for one of the parties in the parliament. That party has to receive at least 3.25% of the vote in order to sit in the parliament. They have to have at least four seats proportionally to sit in the parliament. Then, if you and your friends can cobble together a 61-vote majority, you become the prime minister, and your coalition is the ruling coalition. For the last four years, Netanyahu has been the head of a ruling coalition that includes Likud, some right-wing parties, one led by Bacalo Smotrich, who is a right wing figure, one led by Itamar Ben-Gavir, who is sort of a more clownish and loud right wing figure. And then the Haredim, or the ultra orthodox. That bloc has had a majority for the last four years. The election that was held last night was supposed to oust that bloc in favor of a so-called change bloc. This would have been a bunch of left wing or center to center right parties that just disagree with Netanyahu and want him gone. And the leader of that bloc was a former IDF general named Gadi Eisenkot, who has a personal story that includes a son who was killed in the October 7th war, and a couple of nephews were also killed in that war. Okay, so bottom line is this. In the aftermath of the election, Netanyahu's bloc remains the largest bloc, but short of that 61 vote majority. There's some exit polls and the votes are still being counted. Netanyahu's coalition is likely to end up in the mid 50s, somewhere between 53 and 57 seats. Gadi Eisenkot's coalition is likely to end up somewhere in the 47 to 49 seat area. And the rest is taken up by the Arab parties. The Arab parties got outstanding numbers of votes, 80% voter turnout in the Arab community. Again, for an apartheid state, Israel's doing a horrible job of apartheiding. It turns out that the highest propensity voters in Israel in the election yesterday, which was the highest voter turnout election in Israeli history since like 1969, the highest percentage vote came from the Arabs who are going to receive in the Knesset. Well over 15% of the Knesset seats. The number one Arab party is an eliminationist party that believes Israel should not exist. The so-called joint list. That party, again, is led by people who openly advocate for the destruction of Israel, including joint list member Osama al-Saadi, who yesterday said that he had dedicated their electoral strength to the people of Gaza and the West Bank. Like full solidarity with Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. Again, they sit in the Knesset. So for an apartheid state, Israel, again, doing a horrible job. Here was a member of the joint list. This is one of the Arab parties that has never sat in a government and never will sit in a government because they literally refuse to sit in any government because they don't believe the state should exist. It says we have brought down this fascist government, the government of genocide and ethnic cleansing. We dedicate this to our people in the Gaza Strip. In the West Bank and Occupy Jerusalem. And to all the free people of the world. And now, again, people living in our Knesset, not free. All the free people of the world and all our Palestinian people, wherever they may be. We're waiting for this historic moment. And there's good news from Nazareth. Now, again, remember, that is a sitting party in the Israeli Knesset, which is amazing. The Arab state has received something like 11 seats. The Ra'am party, which is the supposed moderate, Arab list, received about six seats in the Knesset. That party has sat in a coalition government before, but they also refuse to call Hamas a terror group. So basically, here's what happened in the election. The groups that showed up in lower propensity were the Haredim. The Haredim showed up, the ultra-Orthodox showed up in lower propensity. But Netanyahu's voter bloc showed up. There were some right-wing votes that didn't get counted because they went to a party led by a former general named Ofer Winter, who didn't surpass the 3.25% threshold. So the Republicans were basically wasted. Bottom line is that the Eisenhower coalition is a failure. It is a political failure. And so what that means for the future here, again, I just want to point out again, the lie that you constantly hear in the West, that Israel's an apartheid state. This is what it looked like in Israel. These are pictures from Israel. This is Bedouins arriving to vote via camel in Israel or voting in the Negev. Gigantic, gigantic, lines of Muslim women arriving to vote. And it isn't happening in Jordan where you can't vote or Saudi Arabia where you can't vote or all these other countries where you have pretend elections. Bottom line is this. Netanyahu remains in the catbird seat with regard to what comes next. So as we say, neither bloc came up with a majority. What does this mean? Well, it means that because Eisenhower cannot form a majority, like there's, there's basically no way for him to be prime minister at this point, because basically, even if the Arabs sat outside the government and didn't vote for him, but also didn't vote against him. One of the rules in the Knesset is that you have to have more votes in favor of upholding your government than in favor of rejecting your government. If the Arabs just abstain, that's not enough. So that leaves two options, both of which leave Netanyahu in charge of the government. One is keep going to elections over and over. No majority is formed. There's another option. If there's another election, it probably goes Bibi's way. And the reason I say that is because the opposition had literally four years to organize, and this is the best they could do. The Arab vote is very unlikely to show up in these kinds of numbers. Again, the opposition flew in 60,000 voters from abroad. You actually, if you're an Israeli voter, you have to vote in Israel. So that means that if you're an Israeli citizen living in the United States and you want to vote, you have to fly back to Israel to vote. 60,000 people did and voted for the so-called change block. And the change block still came up radically short. So you could keep going to elections over and over. But there are systemic factors that cut very much in favor of Netanyahu doing better in future elections than he did in this one, including, again, those wasted votes coming home to Likud or the Haredi vote actually showing up in the numbers that it has in the past. Or possibility number two, which I think most people in Israel are probably voting for, which is a quasi-unity government, meaning one portion of the change block, perhaps Gadi Eizenkot, joining the Bibi block to create a government. So Eizenkot theoretically becomes minister of defense. He brings his 20 or 21 seats home. Let's say that his condition is that Ben-Gavir has to go away as a member of the government. And so you pick up 21 seats, but you lose seven because Ben-Gavir's party won about seven seats. So you pick up a net of 14 seats. And that puts the Netanyahu coalition government in the high 60s, low 70s range. That's possible. That would certainly be what's best for the state of Israel. Whether that happens or not is really down to sort of personal politics. And this is what I think everybody who doesn't follow Israeli politics closely needs to know. These elections are not about the things you think these elections are about. This is not about foreign policy. Eizenkot and Bibi basically agree on Iran. They basically agree on Gaza. They basically agree on Lebanon. These elections are not about economics. Eizenkot and Bibi basically agree on economics. These elections are about a bunch of ancillary issues to people outside of Israel, primary issues to people inside Israel, like should the Haredim be forced to serve in the military? Or is Bibi personally too long lasting as prime minister? Has he worn out his welcome or whatever? Bottom line is the opposition coalition to Bibi is not large enough to create a functional government. And that means that you're likely to see basically a three-month tango. As my friend Amit Segal, who reports for Channel 12, has said, you're likely to see a three-month tango. And then theoretically a new election would be called or somebody caves and a coalition government is formed. But suffice it to say, the rumors of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political death were greatly exaggerated. Again, people treat that as though Netanyahu is sort of magicing this out of thin air, that he's bamboozled out. Again, here is the thing. The Israeli public is not divided on politics. They are divided on personalities. And that means that the widespread foreign perception about Netanyahu, the Israelis don't buy into the lie that a lot of American Jews have told themselves. A lot of American Jews who have a bunch of friends who hate Israel, and then those friends will say things like, I don't hate Israel, I just hate Bibi. And a lot of American Jews with left-leaning opinions will be like, ah, same here. And they feel better about themselves. That is not true. And the people of Israel know that that's not true, which is why Netanyahu remains the effective prime minister. The Israelis recognize the truth, which is that their enemies hate them regardless of who the leadership is. Their enemies, like Representative Rashida Tlaib, terror supporter, extraordinary member of Congress, who tweeted out regardless of which war criminal becomes prime minister, Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid will continue to face genocide, land theft, and erasure. We cannot accept lies, excuses, or half measures from our leaders. We must impose a full arms embargo on sanctions until Palestine is free. Again, that's her saying that even if Bibi had been tossed, she would have been maintaining that same position. Now, the Israelis have been resisting the Islamification of their country. Again, a heavy percentage of the Arab population in Israel is voting for the extirpation of the state. The Israelis are not in favor of that. So both sides of this political battle in Israel, the opposition and also the Likud side, they said they need to form a Zionist-only government. Whether they can or not remains a question up for debate. What they mean by that is people who want to destroy the state of Israel shouldn't sit inside the government. Western civilization more broadly should stand up to people who hate it.

Speaker 1And this brings us to the Michigan Senate race once again. So, Abdul El-Sayed hates the West. He is in favor of terrorist groups. That's just the reality. Anyone pretending otherwise is lying to themselves to get through the day. This is why when you hear people like John Lovett of Pod Save America, who again served in the administration of Barack Obama, the most anti-Israel president in American history, when he's out there saying Jews have a moral obligation to support Abdul, I want to just vomit and never stop vomiting. Listening to Jewish lectures from John Lovett is like listening to lectures on spousal support from O.J. Simpson. Here is John Lovett.
Speaker 9Donald Trump says there that any Jew would be ashamed to vote for Abdul, and there's a debate among Jews in Michigan about whether to vote for Abdul. I just want to be very clear. Jews in Michigan have a moral obligation to support Abdul. They should do it to protect themselves from anti-Semitism and rising hatred in America. And if that sounds like you at all, you should imagine two futures, one in which there is a debate inside the Democratic Party about America's relationship to Israel, military aid for Israel, and anti-Semitism on the left, which is real. That is a big and important debate we could have to try to find places of agreement, a place of consensus. There can be persuasion and argument and hard feelings, but there can be democracy. On the other, you have this kind of politics on the right, where it is about and hatreds and and othering of people. It starts with Muslims. He does it for trans people. He does it for immigrants.
Speaker 1Again, this is maybe the worst argument I've ever heard. So you can either elect a Democratic Party that openly despises Israel, that moves toward just labeling Israel a genocidal state and makes room for terrorist supporters like Abdul El-Sayed, and then you can have a debate about it. But it's a debate you'll lose because you have a moral obligation, according to John Lovett, to vote for the guy who hates the Jews the most. Or you can have this debate about it. And if you're puzzled by any Jew saying that you have a moral obligation to support Abdul El-Sayed, that's because you have a brain in your head. And John Lovett, he is born a Jew. It's not mean that he has any relationship with Jewishness, per se. This is silly talk. You should be confused by people telling you that anyone has a moral obligation to support Abdul El-Sayed, because you know who Abdul El-Sayed supporters are. Well, let me introduce you to one of Abdul El-Sayed supporters. His name is Amir Zar. Amir Zar is a friend of Abdul El-Sayed. According to the Washington Free Beacon, in 2024, the House Ways and Means Committee opened an investigation into an organization called Islamic Relief USA. It turns out that IRUSA supplies nearly one-third of Islamic Relief World's wide annual revenues, and then it allegedly funnels that money to Hamas. Well, here in 2019 is a picture. The goal of enshrining a pro-Palestinian American foreign policy is
Speaker 14bigger than any of us. The real truth is that without the blood of the children of Gaza, there would be no Abdul for Senate. Remember, ultimately, Abdul is a politician. Yeah, he's one of us, but he's also just a politician. And politicians are tools to get things done for our communities and our causes. They're not heroes or saviors or celebrities. They will usually hedge and equivocate and pander. To me, the core question is this. Do we want American policy toward Palestine to be a redline issue in the 2028 Democratic presidential primaries? I know we do. And that happens much more easily when Abdul wins.
Speaker 1Again, he is for Palestine, right? That is the entire campaign. He is for Hamas and he is for Hezbollah. I mean, Amir Zar in 2017 literally said this. He literally said this in 2017. And we say very
Speaker 15proudly that we stand with every resistance against Israel and every resistance against the occupation, whether it's called al-Tamimi, whether it's called Ibrahim al-Muthariya, whether it's called Hamas, whether it's called Hezbollah, we stand with everybody who stands with everybody who stands with everybody who stands with everybody.
Speaker 1Now, listen, what may be going on in Michigan is smart strategy by Al-Sayed, because what he's figuring is there are more Arab voters than Jewish voters, get all the Arabs out to vote, and that gives you a serious base of support. Harry Enten at CNN says there's some statistical support for this idea. Well, why don't we
Speaker 11just take a look at this? This is the Senate choice in Michigan, among all likely voters. You know, a Fox News poll at the end of last month found that Al-Sayed was up by just a single point. That is well within the margin of error, right? Well, look at those voters who are most focused on Israel or say they were focused on Israel. Look at this. Al-Sayed was actually up eight amongst them. Ergo, he was doing better among the voters who said that Israel was extremely important and the issue of Israel was extremely important in their vote than he's doing among voters overall. Therefore, to me, when you look at this data, what this suggests is the issue of Israel is not to the detriment of Al-Sayed. If anything, it may be helping him a little bit.
Speaker 1Ah, but what Harry Enten is failing to recognize there is that, obviously, if you ask people, you're a voter focused on Israel. There are two types of people in Michigan who are focused primarily on Israel, Arab voters and Jewish voters. That's it. Everybody else is secondarily focused on that or quaternarily focused. It's a very low-ranking issue for most people. However, Abdullah Al-Sayed hating the West, that's a top issue. And among those people, I would imagine it's not going particularly well, which is why the Democrats are now attempting, as a defensive measure, to claim that if you stand up to Abdullah Al-Sayed hating the West and loving him, what you are really doing is engaging in Islamophobia. We'll see if this Islamophobia scare tactic works. Okay, she's literally flanked. Right behind her is Rashida Tlaib, who is a full-scale terrorism supporter who hates the country. Who, by the way, at the same exact rally was out there complaining about raising Muslim boys in America. Yeah, it's very, very difficult to raise Muslim boys in Dearborn, Michigan. Very, very rough.
Speaker 5But I can tell you, you know, as a mom raising, and this is why I'm going last, raising two Muslim boys in this country.
Speaker 10It is incredibly hard to see what they're doing. My sons shouldn't care that, you know, they're Muslim, that they're Arab-American, proud Palestinians. They shouldn't be
Speaker 5able to see it. And I really, really am shocked. That's why I appreciate the elected officials here, because I am shocked at how little my Republican colleagues speak out against it, especially because they also represent diverse communities.
Speaker 1Well, maybe the reason that they're not speaking out against it is because the it you're speaking out against would have been opposition to hatred of the West. That is why people object to Rashida Tlaib or Abdul El-Sayed. It is not because of Islam. It is because of the things that they actually say and believe. It is, yeah, again, Michiganders have a choice. We'll find out in short order what they actually think. Meanwhile, Abdul El-Sayed's best buddy, Hassan Piker, he's gotten active in the realm of lawfare. So according to The Hill, Hassan Piker has now filed a defamation suit against conservative commentator Scott Jennings, my friend and colleague, accusing him of falsely claiming that Piker advocated lynching black Americans after airing an edited video of his remarks. He is seeking $72.5 million in damages, $27.5 million of which is compensatory and $45 million of which is punitive. So. All of this is about a bizarre set of circumstances in which Hassan Piker actively mischaracterized a conservative black political commentator. So what Hassan Piker did is he said he was quoting he was misquoting and lying about a black conservative political commentator. And here's what Piker said, quote, he said, we need more Klansmen, OK, can we go back to a better time when lynchings were happening? So he was mischaracterizing a black Republican. By accusing that black Republican of wanting lynchings. So then presumably one of Scott's producers. cut a clip of Piker. That cut the first few words of that. And now it says. What and now here's what it sounded like when Scott played it on a show.
Speaker 16And if you look at these Democratic primaries, black voters have been voting against the socialists, only to be overruled in many cases by young, privileged white commies. Might these black voters find a home in the Republican Party this fall? Well, if Democratic campaigns are adopting the Piker plan of returning our country to lynchings, that just might happen. Did you ever notice, by the way, how violent these people are? You have Jewish Americans say they're feeling constantly threatened by Al-Sayed supporters. Now Al-Sayed's best friend is out there calling for black voters to be lynched. Beneath all the smiles and dancing videos, there's nothing but hate and violence in the heart of
Speaker 1these communists. Okay, so a few things just about the legalities here. One, Hasan Piker is a public figure. If you're a public figure, you have to prove it malice. Like that Scott put out that show knowing the full context and then deliberately cut that part out and then did it anyway, which is extraordinarily doubtful. Next, you actually you have to prove the damages. How in the world does Hasan Piker think that that quote from Scott Jennings is worth seventy three million dollars in damages? How? How do you prove damages to the reputation of a person who literally says that he hates America? How do you prove damages with regard to like people have a low opinion of you already? You cosplay as Mao Zedong. You have talked openly about the idea that if rich boys rape rich girls, that's somehow superior. And you think that that quote is worth seventy three million dollars in damages? Yeah, good luck. My dude. Also, we should point out that Hasan Piker, again, he mischaracterizes his opposition like legitimately all the time. I mean, does it to me almost all the time. I mean, back in April, he suggested, quote, a literal terrorist credited you for his radicalization. You effing loser. No, that's not true. That is literally not true. I assume that Piker was referring to a twenty seventeen shooting at a mosque in which the person who is the shooter looked at a bunch of Twitter profiles. Including Tucker Carlson's, Laura Ingram's, Alex Jones's and mine. At no point did that shooter, who is a complete piece of crap, I hope rots in prison. Credit me for the shooting because that's ridiculous. So he was lying. But here's the question. Did I sue him? I did not sue him because that's silly, because that's silly. Hasan Piker is the biggest pansy in American commentary. What a pansy. So Scott Jennings says something out of context. About Hasan Piker, who was saying something out of context about another person. That person, by the way, could sue Hasan Piker. For more damages, more aptly than Hasan Piker is suing Scott Jennings. But, you know, that's what Hasan Piker does. Again, this is one of the things about the left. They use all the tools of power at their disposal. Against you. So you see, Hasan Piker does this all the time. If he had power, he would use it against you. But if there are systems that he can use against you right now, like. You know, certain legal systems, he will use them. He would destroy them if they got in his way. But this is the thing about the left. Truth. Principle. Consistency. These are hobgoblins of little minds. The only thing that matters is leveraging power. So good luck, Hasan Piker. And discovery should be a fun process for Scott Jennings's lawyers if this thing carries forward in trying to discover what the damages would be.

Speaker 1Call 1-800-2468-751. And meanwhile, in other legal news, Candace Owens is out there celebrating the fact that on Tuesday, a Delaware Superior Court judge named Sheldon Rennie ruled that the court lacked personal jurisdiction over Owens, who lives in Tennessee, and dismissed claims against her individually. In an ex-post confirming the ruling, Owens said that she was tremendously grateful to the Delaware courts. Now, let's just be clear. This is not what you would call an exoneration. That's silly talk. So, I'm a lawyer. I know how law works. Personal jurisdiction means she does not have a sufficient connection with the state of Delaware to be sued personally in Delaware. That just because you have a company that's registered in Delaware does not mean that you can be personally sued in Delaware. This is a jurisdictional question. The lawsuit continues, against the companies associated with Candace Owens, Candace Owens LLC, and George Tom Inc. So, no, this is not some sort of exoneration of Candace Owens. This is a personal jurisdiction technical issue. Legitimately, most, maybe a plurality of businesses in the United States are registered in Delaware. They register in Delaware because Delaware has extremely business-friendly laws. And so, even if you're not from Delaware, you register your business in Delaware. And all the court said there was you can't be sued personally in Delaware just because you registered a business there. And so, even if you're not from Delaware, you register your business there. That is not an exoneration, but leave it to Candace to completely misinterpret law because she can't even speak English properly. Okay. Meanwhile, speaking of derelict, Hunter Biden is out there bragging about his traditional family values. Oh, no. So, he's ripping on Don Jr.'s recent wedding party that was apparently paid for in part by a Ukrainian oligarch, or a Russian oligarch, rather. Hunter Biden tweeted out a picture of him with his latest paramour. I have no idea who she is. I guess she's his wife now. Good luck to her making some wise personal decisions over there. He tweeted out, not only did a Russian oligarch connected to Putin pay for Don Jr.'s wedding party, they went on a Mongolian honeymoon hunting trip together, too. I chose a more traditional family values honeymoon in Hawaii with my wife. And then it's a picture of him with his new wife. I don't think Hunter Biden should do this. I'm just going to put it out there. Hunter Biden talking about traditional family values. Just going to point out his personal history. He had sex with his brother's widow and addicted her to heavy drugs. He had sex with a stripper, impregnated her, refused to acknowledge paternity of the child, and tried to stonewall her to the point that his own dementia-ridden father doesn't even acknowledge the grandchild. He had sex with a wide variety of prostitutes. I don't know that Hunter Biden should be preaching traditional family values. I think you need a better spokesperson here. In fact, here's Hunter Biden. Right now, he's just making light of all this, by the way. Here's Hunter Biden. He's been on the podcast tour.
Speaker 17Do you miss being crack skinny? Yeah, I do, actually. Yeah. It's like Retta. Yeah, exactly. You do have a kid with a stripper, is that correct? Oh, fuck you. Yeah. Yeah. So that did come to mind. I tend to cross the line. You tend to snort it. I don't. See, that's a keep. Don't don't confuse me with a, um, unless you unless you had some crack. I wasn't really that interested.
Speaker 1Mm hmm. Again, just joking around about all that. Not going to hear about traditional Brady Bunch family values from Hunter Biden. Well, folks, it turns out there are some people who spend, you know, beyond their means, even if it turns out their means are like 200 million dollars. This segment is sponsored by our friends over at Pure Talk. Apparently, ex-NBA star Paul Pierce. I was a fan of him, Boston Celtics fan. He is now drowning financially and struggling to pay his monthly bills, according to TMZ. Paul Pierce claims he has tapped out financially while trying to keep up with his court ordered support payments because he no longer receives income from Fox Sports. He had reportedly earned 20. I'm sorry, 200 million dollars during his NBA career. Now, apparently, he says he only has 300 grand in the bank and three million dollars in property. And people were making fun of his spending habits because he spends forty eight thousand dollars a month in bills, including eight thousand in child care, five grand in groceries, seven thousand. Not needing out, by the way, just going to point out if you can eat twelve thousand dollars worth of food a month and you still look fit. God bless your genetics. That's a lot of food. Spends a thousand bucks a month on clothes, $3,500 on entertainment. I have no idea what that entertainment is and various other expenses. And now he is trying to shut down his ex-wife, Princess Santiago's request for $40,000 in legal fees and another $10,000 for a forensic accountant. And again, in his filing, Paul's attorney said that Paul would have great difficulty paying these fees. So you can make fun of his spending habits all you want. And yeah, that's a lot of money that he's spending on different things. Just going to point out, you don't go from $200 million to 300 grand in the bank because you spent $50,000 a month. That's not how math works. And math isn't math. At some point, he put a lot of money into some sort of business venture and got scammed for all the money or lost all of it. That's how you lose $200 million. You don't lose $200 million because you spent too much at the French Laundry a couple of times a month. That is not a real thing. But don't worry. Overspending is not unique to Paul Pierce. We're now finding out about the extraordinary spending habits of Greg Glassman. Greg Glassman was the CrossFit founder. And he's the kind of dude who, in the late 2010s, was flying from Denver. And he decided that he was going to land the plane just to pick up some Chick-fil-A. He landed the plane in Grand Junction and arranged for two chauffeurs, Chevy Suburbans, to meet him and his entourage at the airport. They went to the fast food restaurant, picked up the plane, and they went to the fast food restaurant. They went to the fast food restaurant, picked up their order, and returned to the plane to finish the flight. That cost $5,000. So apparently, he was paying, I'm not even kidding you, he was paying a Verizon bill approaching $200,000 a month. $200,000 a month. Okay, so here's the thing. You should not be paying that kind of money for your phone bill. And you don't have to. This is why Pure Talk exists. Make the switch today, then tell all your friends. He's Jair Bolsonaro's son. He just narrowly lost the Brazilian presidential election under what can best be described as some dicey circumstances. Well, now he has fled to the United States. And this, again, just demonstrates it's amazing how the left has decided that Lula is some sort of law and order candidate. He never was. He's one of the most corrupt figures in Brazil. He's perverted justice at every single turn. And it turns out, according to The Guardian, that Flavio Bolsonaro was banned from leaving Brazil in order to surrender his passports just hours after his dramatic loss in the presidential election to Lula. That ruling was issued by, wait for it, Alexandra de Mores. That is the same Supreme Court justice who oversaw the trial of the senator's father. That is also the same justice who extended the voting hours, by the way. The court's brief ruling regarding his passport only refers to a criminal case in which the federal police are investigating Flavio over his possible involvement in a money laundering scheme. They canceled all of Bolsonaro's passports. Now, again, that is deeply suspicious. If you think that you have a legal case against Bolsonaro, why wait until the day after his failed election attempt to try to remove his passports? You want to talk about pretty obvious political targeting, this would be it. And so now, Bolsonaro and his family have been given visas to the United States. He has landed in the United States. According to CNN, he stepped out of a plane at Miami's Opelika Airport with his wife and two daughters. The family were later pictured leaving the airport hiding under umbrellas. So Lula is out there pretending that he respects democracy. I don't think that's quite true now, is it? Here is Lula. I lost in 1998 and I stayed here. I won in 2002, in 2006, in 2010, in 2014. We lost in 2002 and we stayed here. This is called respect for democracy. Well, I mean, you weren't arrested then. I regret that he left Brazil because he could have stayed here and proved that the accusations in the press are not true. Or maybe he thinks that you are deeply corrupt and are going to arrest him the way you arrested his father. Ugly stuff, man. Again, the fact that Lula is pretending to be and the fact that so many people in the European Union and in the press are pretending that Lula is sort of pure as the driven snow, despite the fact that he literally was in jail for corruption and then was freed by many of his former lawyers is insane. Totally crazy. Remember, according to the press, Flavio Bolsonaro and his father, Yair, they're the actual fascists. But Lula is the one who is trying to regulate social media platforms. In his victory speech, according to the Rio Times, he named his next fight, the tech giants behind the world's social networks. He says social media will have to be regulated. He called the contest a defeat for denialism, meaning the rejection of facts and for lies. And he went after the companies themselves. Before the election, by the way, he was going after Meta, accusing it of helping Flavio Bolsonaro. Right after the election, according to the New York Times, now they can admit that basically a tidal wave of messages, memes and reels flooded Brazil and rallied millions of Brazilians with diverging views around a single task, barring the return of the Bolsonaro family to power. And then it turns out that WhatsApp was used by Lula's team to forge the Lula army. So tech is their friend when it helps them, and when it doesn't, then Lula will try to shut it down. This is why I have serious objections to the generalized way that the media treat left versus right across the world in global politics. If the left wins, they say it's some sort of emboldening of democracy. If the right wins, they call it fascist. Well, it turns out that Lula is perfectly happy using fascist techniques so long as it gets him to victory, and the left-wing press are totally fine with it in general also. Alrighty, coming up, we'll get to a box office bomb, totally unsurprising. Remember, you have to become a subscriber here at Daily Wire to help us fight the culture.
