Ep. 2534 - Obama's Big Return Is Not Going Well

This episode of the Ben Shapiro Show is dominated by the host's closing argument ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. He contends that Democrats are far too radical for the American people, pointing to their deployment of Obama, Clinton, and Harris as surrogates, and he insists this signals weakness rather than confidence. He spends considerable time on the Michigan Senate race, accusing Abdul El-Sayed of evading questions about past support for the Muslim Brotherhood and of using Tucker Carlson clips to appeal to Republicans, while urging Michiganders to reject him. He also highlights an Alaska ballot scheme involving a second "Dan Sullivan," framing it as a deliberate attempt to confuse voters, and dismisses media claims that states like Arkansas and Mississippi are competitive as demoralization tactics. Internationally, he argues that Brazil's election was procedurally skewed in Lula's favor and describes riots across Europe as evidence of an organized global leftist assault on Western civilization. He closes by criticizing President Trump for attacking Bill Maher, warning that such fights alienate persuadable voters, and he repeatedly urges Republicans to turn out and vote early rather than trust pessimistic polling narratives.

Speaker 3I mean, he's got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a cheesecake factory.
Speaker 1God, he is such a jerk. He's such a jerk. We keep being told that Democrats are in incredible shape for the midterms. Tremendous shape. They're going to blow out the Republicans. So. Why is Barack Obama in Michigan being, as I say, a jerk? Why do Democrats have to call in their LeBron James at age 65 to try to win just one more time? Let's just start with this. Barack Obama does not get to make aesthetic critiques of architecture. That is just a thing he does not get to do. I mean, this is his presidential library right here. he built the sand crawler from star wars episode 4 r2d2 and c3 are currently stuck inside the obama library they'll only be freed when uncle owen finds the droid that understands the binary language of moisture evaporators and speaks bocce but obviously the bigger question here aside from Barack Obama's questionable aesthetic taste is why exactly is the former president on the trail in Michigan? So here's the thing. Barack Obama is the guy you call when you're down a little bit near the end of the game. He is not the guy you have to call when you are up big. As Harry Enten over at CNN has pointed out, right now, every election is a toss up. If the polling is off If the polling is off even a little bit, Republicans will not only hold the Senate, they'll end up holding it pretty easily.
Speaker 4So what happens if we get the exact same polling error this time around? Well, what happens? Hello, this is what happens. We get Republicans actually holding on. So the question ultimately is, is the polling going to be right this time around, or Republicans going to outperform like they have in the past? If they have, Republicans hold on. If the polling is right on, the Democrats head to a majority. Anderson, I don't know what's going to happen.
Speaker 1Okay, that is the correct answer. I don't know what's going to happen. No one knows what's going to happen. So the goal here is to demoralize Republicans, to cause Republicans not to go out and vote. Democrats are trotting out the guy who characterizes the modern Democratic Party. But Barack Obama also happens to be the guy who broke the modern Democratic Party. He turned it into a party of college-educated white elites unmoored from reality. He was able to carry minorities, but that is because of Barack Obama as a person. It's not because of his positions or because of his attitude. He's an East Coast elitist, and his top fans are East Coast elitists. Were he not racially diverse, he would never have been president with these positions. Take, for example, He's out there in Michigan and he's bragging about his record in Iran. Here he was during a Michigan rally for Abdul El-Sayed.
Speaker 3The original rationale was, well, we're going to go in there and we're going to make them bend the knee and give up their nuclear program, their nuclear weapons. Of course, Iran didn't have nuclear weapons. We had curbed their nuclear program because I put in place a deal that everybody should acknowledge had kept them from getting nukes.
Speaker 1That is not true. That is not true. Again, you have to separate between Barack Obama, the politician, and Barack Obama's policies. The Democratic Party ingested his policies in the belief that by doing so, they would ingest his popularity, and instead what they got was his unpopular policies and no frontman like Barack Obama. That crappy nuclear deal was approved at the time by 30% of the public, and the public was right. Because he did not, in fact, disarm Iran. He gave them a clear pathway to a nuclear weapon. The reason the President of the United States, Donald Trump, had to go bomb Iran, not just last year, but the year before, is that he actually had to go do the thing. He had to go destroy the nuclear program that was moving at an extraordinary clip toward actual weaponization. Barack Obama explaining that Iran is in a stronger strategic position now than they were before the war is just wrong. That is untrue. It is untrue. Iran is in a devastatingly terrible position. The Iranian real is trading it. Iran is trading it.
Speaker 3Where's that war going? Our allies and bases have been attacked. American soldiers have been killed. Hundreds of Americans have been wounded. We've run down our stock of missiles, dangerously low. And this is the thing: Iran now has veto power over the Strait of Hormuz, where oil goes through to get to the world. So they're in a stronger strategic position now. They're not in a better position now than before the war started.
Speaker 1Okay, that's not true. They always had the ability to throttle the Strait of Hormuz. The difference is they used to have a Navy, an Air Force and a nuclear program, and now they don't have any of those things in any serious measure. Again, this is Barack Obama. This is why when Democrats, it's always bewildering to me. They've called out Barack Obama to the barricades, also Bill Clinton to the barricades, also Kamala Harris to the barricades. That does not bespeak a party that is deeply confident about its status in this election. And meanwhile, the Democrats continue to run on Barack Obama's 20th election. So Barack Obama is out there in Michigan saying that, you know, Democrats aren't radicals or communists or jihadists. They just want health care. Wait, hold up. Wait, wait. I thought you solved the health care problem. I thought Obamacare was the soul. Why are you still running on health care, my dude? I'm confused. I thought you fixed that problem. It turns out Barack Obama fixed zero American problems and broke the country in a myriad of ways. My going theory about American politics is that the 2012 election fundamentally destroyed the country in a real way. American people should have sided with Mitt Romney, a total moderate, a clean-cut politician who had no serious baggage on the personal level, was probably the most clean politician in terms of personal record of any politician ever to run for the White House. And instead, Barack Obama decided to run one of the most scurrilous presidential campaigns in American history, win in 2012 and break the brains of the American people. But here is Barack Obama pretending that he's not campaigning on behalf of a radical pro-jihadi or pro-socialism candidate. He just wants health care. This stuff doesn't fly. It's not real.
Speaker 3rest you and force feed you tofu instead of hamburgers? We are not going to fall for that okey-doke. We are not going to be bamboozled like that. We're clear
Speaker 1about the
Speaker 3choice in this election. Abdul is fighting for change, real change. Change that will bring an end to this war. Change that will get money out of politics and put money in your pocket. Change that will finish the job we started with the Affordable Care Act and guarantee quality, affordable health care to every single American.
Speaker 1Quality. Okay, here's the thing. Barack Obama is not getting anybody out to the polls. He's not. Because Barack Obama is not on the ballot. He's not on the ballot. By the way, we should just point out for the record that Affordable Care Act, meaning Obamacare Act premiums, have increased two times as fast as employer-based health care premiums. So, great job, Barack Obama. Now, again, they're trotting out Barack Obama at this point in the race because he was personally popular. But that unpopular agenda, that can only be made popular by Republican incompetence. Barack Obama remains an irritant in American politics. And in American history, he's going to be largely remembered as the man who led to the era of Donald Trump. We should just post a picture of what. It looked like in the overflow room at Barack Obama's Abdul El-Sayed rally. That is an awful lot of college-educated white people. That is a lot of white people. So, Donald Trump went right back over the top to rip President Obama. Again, one of the great ironies of American politics is that if Barack Obama had not gone on national television and mocked Donald Trump, then Donald Trump probably would never have run for president. But President Trump put out a statement, quote, Obama was a grossly incompetent president. He paid for it. He paid off Iran with billions, gave them a road to a nuclear weapon. He said that crooked Hillary Clinton was going to win. He campaigned hard for her, and she lost in all directions and ways. He then campaigned full out for Kamala, and likewise, she lost. Now he's campaigning for a Muslim Brotherhood jihadist who hates Jews and blacks and Americans and Trump. And he's going to lose also. He's a fake doctor who runs what is considered to be the worst clinic in America. I won Michigan big, have brought back the car industry, the Air Force Base, and everything else. Also, more jobs than ever before. Michigan does not want an arrogant, open borders, fake doctor jihadist whose reputation will only get worse as more and more people are going to lose their lives. This information is revealed, and there's plenty. Vote for Mike Rogers, who will never let you down. Now, Barack Obama was one of the major factors that led to the demise of the American Dream, but it's very easy to announce the American Dream is dead. It's considerably harder to explain what's actually happening, why it's happening, what would make it better. That requires more than a slogan. It requires facts. That's why I went head to head with left of center Scott Galloway in the first ever USA Facts debate focused on the American Dream. We debated whether capitalism is working or leaving too many people behind, whether more government is the answer, or whether government is the answer. Government is part of the problem, and here's what made this debate different. Every segment started with government data and facts from USA Facts. Before we argued about the solutions, we had actual numbers to work from. Now, having the same facts doesn't mean Scott and I suddenly agree, obviously, but it does mean you can see where the disagreement actually is, evaluate the arguments, and decide for yourself who makes the stronger case. You should come away from a debate knowing more than you did going in. That's the point. Watch the full debate right now on the USA Facts YouTube channel. It already has millions of views. I think it's informative and awesome and fascinating. I hope that you feel the same way. Go check out my debate with Scott Galloway on the American Dream. Again, you can go watch it right now at the USA Facts YouTube channel. Wait, there's more. Democrats aren't just trotting out Barack Obama. They're now trotting out Kamala Harris. I mean, man, they are emptying the cupboard. So Kamala Harris was out in New Hampshire, and man, if you missed Kamala Harris, we've got some classic Kamala Harris. Here she was. Here we go.
Speaker 5The last year and a half, we have been pissed. We've been depressed. We've been angry. We've been frustrated. Angry? We've been feeling alone, hopeless. Alone. Powerless. We've gone through the last year and a half where many of us, whether we admit it or not, have been saying things to the television that we would not say where we pray. Some of us have been throwing things.
Speaker 1I know you've missed this. I've missed this. I've missed the Kamala Harris. I have. I have. I will admit it. As a person who does a daily show, I've missed the extraordinary fodder that she provides for this program. And let's be real, there's been an awful lot of meat on the menu here at the Ben Shapiro Show, but we've been missing some word salad. We need a side of word salad, and Kamala is here to provide it. Here we go.
Speaker 5Remember, I was a United States Senator, so I know what happens in those rooms. And in those rooms, and your mom knows, in those rooms, there are conversations that happen where it is important for certain people to stand up and speak, to help at least encourage a certain conscience about what we should care about in terms of the work we do in the halls of Washington, D.C., and with some clarity about how it will actually play out in the streets of America. Chris is the kind of person who will be in that room thinking that way.
Speaker 1I can't wait till she starts talking about the Iraq. She is. She is just as you. By the way, that lady could be the nominee in 2028. I know you think I'm crazy. Here's a New York Times-Siena poll, and it says 45% of Democrats don't know who their top choice is for the Democratic presidential nominee. Guess who's still number one? Yes. Kamala Harris clocking in at 12%. Gavin Newsom at 9%. Pete Buttigieg at 7%. So here is the big question. Democrats are acting like this election is in the bag, like it's good to go. They're done. They're going to walk away with it. So why? Why exactly are they forced to all of this? Why Barack Obama? Why are you trotting out Bill Clinton, who's also been on the campaign trail? Why Kamala Harris? And why in Alaska are Democrats pursuing one of the most egregious fakes in political history? Hey, so Alaska is a very, very tight race, like within a point. Dan Sullivan is the current Republican senator from Alaska. He's been serving in office since January 2015. Well, according to the Alaska Watchman News, there's another guy. His name is Daniel J. Sullivan, right? He's got the same name. But he's not a Republican. He's got a J. Daniel J. Sullivan. He's a retired school teacher who had never previously run for political office. And he filed to run for Senate a few days after Senator Sullivan filed earlier this year, under the same name and under the Republican Party affiliation, despite the fact that Dan J. Sullivan had a history of working with Democratic candidates, including the Democratic Senate candidate in Alaska, Mary Peltola. So this past June, the Alaska Division of Elections found that the new Dan Sullivan's candidacy was not properly filed because it was not a good faith candidacy. The letter explicitly said Sullivan's candidacy was filed, quote, with a purpose to confuse or mislead. So now, correctly, the DOJ is filing a lawsuit seeking to block certification of Alaska's Senate election results if they are impacted by voter confusion, because this is like the cheapest and dumbest trick ever. It's quite reminiscent of their advertisers in the 1990s who couldn't afford to get endorsed by Michael Jordan. So they would find some white dude in the suburbs named Michael Jordan, and then they would get endorsed by Michael Jordan. And then they put on the back of their product. This shoe is amazing. Michael Jordan. And it turns out that's illegal. I can be sued for that. But apparently in politics, Democrats think that's totally fine. They're running a dude named Dan Sullivan simply to draw votes away from the actual Dan Sullivan, who's the current senator. The lawsuit says Daniel J. Sullivan's presence on the ballot threatens to mislead Alaskan citizens who want to vote for Senator Sullivan. Well, yes, that is literally what it is an attempt to do. So polls right now show the Senate race within a couple of percentage points. Daniel J. Sullivan received 4,100 votes in the primary. That was 2.5% of the total. So the lawsuit is pointing out that that is corrupt and terrible. Well, Attorney General Blanche was on CNN and was asked about this by Dana Bash, this lawsuit. Is this a violet? Apparently, according to Democrats, the way that this works is that if Republicans find some dude named Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan and put him on the ballot just to draw votes away from the actual Abdul El-Sayed. That's totally fine. That's totally fine, according to Dana Bash. It's actually election interference if you don't let a dude named Dan Sullivan run on the same ballot as another dude named Dan Sullivan. Here is Dana Bash going after Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Speaker 6Well, conveniently, you put up the Constitution on your screen, but you highlighted only the first clause. Why don't you show the next clause to your viewers, which says that Congress is allowed to pass laws to make sure that that happens? Yes. Put that back up there. Yes, you're right. And that's exactly what we're doing. So the Alaska Supreme. The Alaska Supreme Court did not address the federal law that's implied. We have it up. Go ahead. And that is what we are doing now. So, OK. So, but look, so you highlighted the first clause. The second clause says, but the Congress may at any time by law, and we have a law, and that's the law that we're relying on when we filed suit earlier this week.
Speaker 1Lisa Murkowski, who is the Republican kind of rhino-y senator from Alaska, she put out a statement against the lawsuit, mainly because she just doesn't want to be a senator. want any hubbub in her state. She says Alaskans don't need any help voting for their preferred candidates. The state of Alaska has already handled this by clearly distinguishing the candidates on this year's ballot. The Department of Justice should never have filed this lawsuit. President Trump then fired back at her and he was like, um, excuse me. He said, all I'm asking for is a fair and honest senatorial election. Lisa Murkowski is a disgrace to Alaska and our country. You just don't get any worse. Now, again, as we'll discuss a little bit later on in the show, I think the president should probably, you know, hold his fire when it comes to members of his own party, given that we're in the middle of a midterm election fight. But the Democratic Party is pulling out all the stops at this point. So here's where we actually stand, you know, one week out from a crucial midterm election. The battle right now is between a Democratic Party that is far too radical for the American people and a Republican Party that's pretty unpopular because it hasn't performed all that great with an unpopular president. It's that simple. And so if you take that and you map it onto particular races, what you see is that the Republicans who aren't really that connected with President Trump or who are running against truly radical Democrats. Democrats are doing pretty well. So Susan Collins, who's not super connected with Trump and is a good candidate, will, I think, be reelected in Maine over in Michigan. As I've said before, the great puzzlement is not that Mike Rogers is somehow running even with Abdul El-Sayed. It's that why is Abdul El-Sayed running even with Mike Rogers? Michigan is a very purpley state. It is an off your election. That off your election comes at a time when President Trump is deeply unpopular. If the Democrats had not been completely insane and nominated a pro-jihadi, like Abdul El-Sayed, if they had nominated Haley Stevens, this election would have been considered a walkover for the for the Democrats. Instead, this thing is extremely, extremely tight. The Rogers campaign correctly is handing out fact sheets to the press on Abdul El-Sayed's Muslim Brotherhood ties as well. They should detailing his ties with the Muslim Student Association and his support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Mohammed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood leader in Egypt. Brett Baier asked Abdul El-Sayed over the weekend about his letter in 2012. He said, I don't know. Signed in which he expressed support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Abdul El-Sayed got pissed because that's what he does when he is caught in a lie.
Speaker 7Mike Rogers has been really hitting this Muslim Brotherhood thing. I know you don't want to talk about your family and the history there, but he goes back. He goes back. He goes back to his campaign. Let me just let me just stop there.
Speaker 8You are asking this question to raise a question about I'm not whether or not I have dual loyalty. This is specific. His campaign will be the Constitution of the United States. Thank you. And as as ever. Every senator who's ever served. I will swear an oath to that Constitution. He's not interested. I'm not interested in any of the back and forth in the 2012 statement in a letter. You're going to want to walk. You're going to pull that out of context. You're going to ask questions about my allegiance. Let me just be clear. This is right. I will swear. I'm just asking you about that. Don't be Rogers campaign. I'm asking you to be a journalist.
Speaker 1Abdul El-Sayed needs to lose. He needs to lose because of this. OK, the question he was being asked was a specific letter that he himself signed. Why did he support the Muslim Brotherhood? Why? That's the question. And he will not answer it. He will not answer it under any circumstances. Instead, he misdirects you. It's an attack on my loyalty. It's a dual loyalty. Well, first of all, dude, you're the one who ran around for years saying you're an Egyptian citizen. Second of all, you're the one who signed a letter in 2012 in support of the Muslim Brotherhood cracking down on dissent. Third, it's your sister who went online and said your entire family is Muslim Brotherhood. Fourth, you're the person who spent this entire campaign saying things like hurt people, hurt people about actual. Answer. You're an anti-Jewish terrorist from Dearborn, Michigan. That's you. Now, at this point, I should point out that if Abdul El-Sayed does pull out a victory, one of the people he should be thanking is Tucker Carlson. He's literally putting out ads featuring Tucker Carlson in Michigan. So for Republicans who are in any doubt about who in the supposed Republican tent doesn't give a crap about Republicans winning, that person's name is Tucker Carlson. Abdul El-Sayed knows it. He's literally campaigning using clips from Tucker Carlson.
Speaker 8My name is Abdul El-Sayed. You might have heard a bit about me. The D.C. elite spent millions trying to blame me for things other people said. But we agree on a lot. Washington is a corrupt swamp. The big corporations and elites run the show there. And it raises our costs. Release the Epstein files. And yeah, free speech is under attack. And we should make America healthy again. Stop wasting our tax dollars on overseas wars and bad trade deals. Don't want to take my word for it? How about some folks you know a little bit better? You got to respect Abdul because he beat the machine.
Speaker 9He's very charismatic. His campaign now, it's America first. And Abdul El-Sayed, who by the way was captain of his high school football team. Mike Rogers wants to pick a fight with him about it. He's a good looking guy. I think he's better. He's a great speaker.
Speaker 8I wouldn't vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint.
Speaker 9Democrats spent a skyrocketing $65 million to defeat him. He shows the muscles.
Speaker 8This guy's a force that Mike Rogers is going to have to deal with. I approve this message because for me, it's Michigan first. And we can agree on that.
Speaker 1Again, he is trying to get Republicans to vote for him based on Tucker Carlson saying that he wouldn't vote for Mike Rogers with a gun to his head. Should tell you where some members of the pseudo tent stand. Meanwhile, a PAC associated with Abdul El-Sayed is of course suggesting that the nefarious Jews are behind everything happening on planet Earth. Who could have foreseen all this? That Mike Rogers is actually just a tool of the nefarious Uden. Here we go.
Speaker 10We get all the sandwiches. We get all the stuff for the kids' lunch. They don't like turkey anymore. Yeah, I know. What about the bananas? Yeah, I got them too. But, honey. What? You're going to have to put those eggs back. They don't like eggs anymore? No, they like eggs. But we have to set that $7 aside for killing Palestinians. What? I mean, don't we give Israel $4 billion a year anyways? Yeah, and now we're giving them another $26 billion. Do you know how much that is per American? No. It's like $161 per person. Apparently, it's costing us a lot of money to drop bombs on Gaza. It's terrible. Yeah. Don't they get universal health care too? The acting is terrible. Yeah, they do. We're paying for that too, probably. Might as well put the bananas back. Why the f*** do we have to pay for all of this? Don't cuss at me.
Speaker 1You're not paying for Israel's universal health care.
Speaker 11Why does Mike Rogers care so much about what Israelis want? And so little. Little about what you want. Mike Rogers is for they-them. Abdul El-Sayed is for you.
Speaker 1They-them would be the Jews. Oh my goodness. What an insane ad. That's who he's putting out in Michigan. Okay, so we'll see whether he's too radical for Michiganders. If Michiganders have a brain in their head, they should absolutely go out in droves to vote against Abdul Rahman El-Sayed. Meanwhile, the Democrats are trying to drive the president away. They're trying to drive a narrative that a bunch of states are in play. They're even suggesting that Arkansas and Mississippi are in play. This is nonsense. Okay, I'm just going to put it out there. That's crap. NPR is saying, quote, In Arkansas, Democrats see an opening at the edge of the competitive midterms map. In the final days of the 2026 midterm election, Arkansas Democrats are crisscrossing the state with a message that seeks to capitalize on the Trump administration's unpopularity, stubbornly high prices, and anti-incumbency vibes. Haley Schaffner is running against Tom Cotton for Arkansas Senate. Cotton's going to swamp her. He's going to destroy her. But the entire media messaging here is that everything is in play because that's how easily the Democrats are going to whomp the Republicans so Republicans just stay home. According to our friends and sponsors over at Calchi, Tom Cotton has a 93% chance of being reelected as senator in Arkansas. But don't worry, they're also saying over at ABC that maybe Mississippi is in play. Scott Collum, according to ABC, is a district attorney for four counties along the Mississippi-Alabama border and a former nominee to become a U.S. district judge. He'd be Mississippi's first black U.S. senator since Reconstruction. Collum faces an uphill battle. Mississippi has not elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1982 and voted for Trump in 2024 by 20 points. But he's got some attention. And that's the important thing. Okay, so according to the Calchi markets, Scott Collum, the Democrat, has an 11% shot of being elected against Cindy, Hyde-Smith in the Republican Party. And this just shows you again, this just shows you again how crazy it is for Democrats to claim that everything is in play. And it is a narrative, it's a narrative gambit. Okay, take a look at Iowa. Okay, if we head on over to Iowa, so we're going to use the brand new election wire tool here for Daily Wire. Click on over to Iowa. And what you see is that in the RealClearPolitics polling average, that we have at the Daily Wire, Election Wire, Ashley Hinson is up 0.2 on Josh Turek. Okay, well, I mean, Josh Turek is a radical. He is a radical. Here is a Josh Turek ad.
Speaker 12As a kid in a wheelchair, I faced my share of bullying. That's why I believe that no Iowan should face discrimination. As a Paralympian, I also know it's important to have rules. It's why I oppose males competing in females, something that is already illegal in Iowa. I'm against taxpayers paying for sex changes, too. Anyone tells you any different is lying. I'm Josh Turek. I approve this message. It's time to stop the nonsense from both extremes and start to focus on lowering costs for Iowans.
Speaker 1Okay, so he is going to vote with the Democrats. But if you watch that ad, you would think he's a Republican, right? He's going to lose in Iowa because Iowa is a heavily Republican state. Okay, take a look at Kansas. Back to that election. Wire app. You can go check out what's happening over in Canada. Kansas. Kansas right now, Roger Marshall, who's the Republican candidate, is up slightly on Adam Hamilton, who is the Democrat. But I'm just telling you, Kansans are not going to vote for a Democratic candidate who said about Jesus that Jesus told him to love the trans kids at church.
Speaker 13You know, I look at people and I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbors, but I love myself. And so I'm going to love the trans person as well as the straight person, as well as the, you know, male or female. I just think we have to do better than picking on small groups. And what's happened is we've turned a group of people into a campaign issue because it pulls well. I just don't think that's OK. I think we have to treat people decently and humanely. And that's all people. And so that's what I'd say. I'm governed by what Jesus said was the second great commandment. Love your neighbors. You love yourself.
Speaker 1OK, nobody said that you're not supposed to love people. Who have problems. But I'm pretty sure Jesus was not in favor of the idea that a boy could become a girl. Again, I'm just, you know, as a reader of the Old Testament and also the New Testament, pretty sure you can't find any basis for that at all. But don't worry, James Tallarico in Texas is running on the same basis. And right now, the polling shows Tallarico up out ahead by a little under three points. It's still a toss up state. Well, here was James Tallarico in 2023 saying, blessed are the trans children.
Speaker 14What would Jesus do if he visited the Texas legislature? I think he would tell us, blessed are the trans children who are bullied. Blessed are the new moms who are kicked off their health care. Blessed are the construction workers who are denied a water break. Blessed are the prisoners, who are locked in windowless cells without air conditioning. I think Jesus would flip over our fancy desks and demand that we take care of all of our neighbors.
Speaker 1Oh, OK, that's going to go over great in Texas. Again, here's how I know that a lot of the polling data right now is a mess. Angie Nixon is a nut job in my home state of Florida. And check out the election hub over in Florida. What it tells you is that Ashley Moody only has a four point advantage. She's got a four point advantage. on Angie Nixon. Angie Nixon is a nut. She's a full scale Democratic Socialist of America nut job who calls her entire state racist. Here she was doing that over the weekend.
Speaker 15Like, I don't think it's something nefarious or that people are trying to like that donors, Democratic donors are like racist towards me. I would say it's that they think that the state is racist and they're just hesitant to like donate because of it.
Speaker 1She is not going to lose by four. She is going to lose by 14. Angie Nixon. That is not a thing. It's not a thing. This is why I'm telling you right now. The polls are biased in favor of Democrats. That is my considered opinion. I may be wrong about that, but here is the thing. If you're a Republican, get your ass out and vote. Go vote. Do not take in the narrative. The media are trying to sell you that somehow they are inevitable. Okay, just don't believe it because it's not true. It's not true. And let's just be clear what the future of the Democratic Party is. The one that they're selling. Right. Their goal is to get you not to vote by demoralizing you. And then the future of America is the future of the Democratic Party. And let me tell you about the future of the Democratic Party. It's Zoran Mamdani in New York telling illegal immigrants in Spanish how to avoid ICE. He says, if you encounter ICE, these are your rights. First, ICE cannot legally enter private spaces without a judicial order. These spaces include your home, hospitals, churches, and private schools. These are private areas of your workplace. In a document, look for the words United States District Court and a judge's signature. Again, this is the mayor of New York telling illegal immigrants how to avoid ICE. This is the future of your America if the Democratic Party wins. The future of the country is Ilhan Omar, who almost certainly, by the evidence at this point, married her brother and committed immigration fraud. Here she was doing a video. Here she was doing a video with her current husband. This would be husband numero tres. It was labeled, less scrolling, more strolling. That is a Somali rap song. Oh, they're so in love. Look, that's so nice. The soundtrack is Niman Selaiba Akaya by Somali rapper Ilkas KC. Kais. With the first verse warning that anyone the narrator confronts will suffer and scream by nightfall. Quote, the Almighty has given me strength. If I confront you in the afternoon, by evening, I will teach you a lesson and keep you awake throughout the night. Yes, you will suffer and cry in seething. You will scream like a demon. After all, you are not Arabs, so swallow your anger and chew on it. That is the person who wants to remain in Congress for you. All this is going great. So, meanwhile, over the weekend, there was a concert on the National Mall for a Muslim. Charity called Human Concern International. They're so concerned internationally. So concerned. The human concern. Not about Muslim tyranny all over the world. They're concerned about, obviously, and forever, all of the radicals who they wish to support. In Hezbollah, in Hamas, in Sudan. The concert crowd chanted. Look at this crowd. Chanting, free, free Palestine in your country. It's great. Free, free Palestine. That's who wins. That's who wins if the left wins. Okay, so, let's move internationally. What does the future of America look like if the left wins? Well, if Democrats win in the United States, then let me give you an object lesson. Brazil. Okay, so there's a lot of talk here in the United States about election corruption, election interference. And some of that is justified. If Democrats were to gain control of Congress and then the presidency, the first thing they would do is rig the election rules. They would force ballot harvesting across all 50 states, which means that basically apparatchiks of the Democratic Party would go around finding homeless people, grabbing their ballots and mailing those in. They would rig the rules in their own favor by adding a couple of states in Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. They'd try to stack the Supreme Court. They've said all of this out loud. And if you think that that's not true, if that sort of thing, that kind of thing couldn't happen, let me give you the example of Brazil. So last night, there was an election in Brazil. This election is extraordinarily questionable. Deeply, deeply questionable. So you have to flashback to understand this. Back to October 6th, there was a first round of the election in which Flavio Bolsonaro, who is the son of Jair Bolsonaro, won 47% of the vote. And Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva, who is a radical left winger, won 45% of the vote. Well, last night, there was the second round of the election. The run-up to it was the second round of the election. And Lula won 51.79% of the vote. And Bolsonaro won 48.21% of the vote. That means that in the run-off, Bolsonaro gained about 3.7 million votes. Lula gained almost 11 million votes, like 10.4 million votes. So what exactly happened? According to CNN Brazil, 213 cities that chose Flavio in the first round suddenly switched and chose Lula in the second round. The Superior Electoral Court system confirmed Lula's victory at 9.5% at 9.08 p.m., when 97% of the ballots had already been counted. That'd be the first time since the return to democracy, where a candidate who finished second in the first round managed to turn the tide and return to the elected presidency. In all seven previous presidential elections that went to a second round, the leader from the first round then went on to victory in the second round. Now, here's where things get really, really dicey. There was some late-breaking interference in the election. So, in the middle of the day of the election, there's a thing that happened. Lula's campaign filed a lawsuit. With something called the Supreme Federal Court. After reporting problems with public transportation and difficulties getting around in some areas, a minister named Cristiano Zanin ordered the extension of voting hours until 7 p.m. Brasilia time. That measure altered the procedures planned for the closing of the polls and mobilized the Electoral Court during the final hours of voting. After receiving information from the Superior Electoral Court, Zanin clarified the extension of the deadline should only apply to polling stations that had not yet closed voting. Okay, so Brazil is a really big country with a couple of different times. What does that mean? It means a bunch of areas where Bolsonaro would have led, the polls were already closed. This judge, this minister, said, reopen the polls, but only where they haven't been closed. Keep them open if they're already open, but if they're already closed, then they just stay closed. Well, who does that benefit? It benefits Lula, of course. Lula's side petitioned the Electoral Court and the Supreme Federal Court. Bolsonaro petitioned the Electoral Court, saying there's some heavy rain in certain areas, so please keep the polling stations open in those areas. But it was Lula's petition to the Supreme Federal Court that was taken up by, wait for it, his former defense attorney and now Supreme Court justice that enacted a nationwide voting extension. So he went to his own buddy and asked him to extend the voting hours in places where he was winning. That's what happened in this election cycle. According to CNN Brazil, 80% of the ballot boxes had already been closed when the Supreme Federal Court announced an extension of voting. The president of the Regional Electoral Court of Sao Paulo explained, quote, After the official closing of the polls in the country, it was not possible to resumed voting in most polling stations. There may be some claim that no one voted. We have no evidence to support that. Everything was done so voting could take place at scheduled time and we complied. A Brazilian journalist from Jornal O Globo reported that every justice on the Supreme Electoral Court were opposed to extending the voting. But here is his good buddy hugging him, who was his defense attorney, right? It was his defense attorney, by the way, in getting him reinstated in politics. Because remember, he was barred from higher office because he was in jail. And his defense attorney, after he got Lula off and Lula got elected, his defense attorney was then put on the Supreme Court where he issued this rule to allow the areas basically where Lula was winning to remain open while all the other areas that are already closed remain closed. That's horrifying. And put aside whether the election was, quote unquote, stolen. There is no way to read. That sort of procedure and not think that the elections were at the very least skewed. So according to Lula, here he was saying is before the polls were closed at 40 percent of buses were taken out of circulation. And then he announced a petition to the Supreme Court to extend voting. Now, again, he is the president of the country. So I guess he's blaming local mayors and then asking for an extension of voting hours in specifically the areas where he was losing. This is almost 40 percent of the buses were taken out of service. And Bahia buses were taken out of service in several states. Sao Paulo, Salvador, Petropolis, Ferreira de Santa. And he lists all of them up. Why am I raising this complaint? Because we are taking action. Because he went to the electoral court where all of his friends gave him what he wanted. And now maybe he won. Maybe he didn't. That is an insane. That is an insane procedure, at the very, very least. That's crazy. Now, Bolsonaro, for his part, has requested an annulment of the election. Very unlikely he gets it. Here he was yesterday. This is what happened is inexplicable. Even in the words of one of the justices, as reported by the press, the elections should have been annulled. Given the circumstances of what happened, at that time. What I have to say now is that it is impossible, impossible to accept the election results, given the way these events unfolded. We'll turn to our legal team. We'll ask for these elections to be annulled. Okay, well, let's be real about this. Lula da Silva's rule has involved the skewing of the law. It's amazing. When it's Jair Bolsonaro who's launching some sort of extra legal effort to maintain his office, then everyone quite properly said, that's crazy, you're not allowed to do that. When Lula da Silva spends his entire term shifting every procedure, and then on the day of the election gets his buddy, who is the head of the court that was in charge of this thing, to extend the voting rules, but only for places that had not yet shut their polls, then everybody's supposed to throw up their hands and go, oh, honest election. Perfectly great. By the way, we should point out the timeline of Lula skewing the rules. Lula is one of the most corrupt figures in all of politics globally. And he's treated as, as though it's totally normal. In 2003 to 2004, Lula called for external oversight of the judiciary and set up new administrative oversight bodies for all public prosecutions. Between 2003 and 2016, he basically turned over the entire Supreme Court. In 2017, 2018, he was convicted of corruption and money laundering up to $1.2 million. He served 580 days in prison as part of a larger corruption investigation that involved $2.5 billion in embezzlement. In 2020, he was convicted of corruption and money laundering up to $1.2 million. In 2021, Brazil's Supreme Court annulled his conviction on procedural grounds and claimed that the judge showed bias. And then the court enabled him to run in 2022 and run against Bolsonaro. By mid-2022, the court began issuing gag orders to right-wing social media influencers, banning outlets, taking down social media accounts for discussing that Lula was corrupt or an ex-convict. And between 2022 and 2024, again, this is his Supreme Court. Most of these are people he appointed. The Supreme Court dismantled or annulled a majority of the convictions and penalties from the Lula corruption. And Bolsonaro's supporters challenged the voting system in 2022. That led to that storm the Capitol moment. And then in 2023, Bolsonaro himself was barred from seeking public office until 2030 by the Brazilian Superior Electoral Court. In 2025, the Supreme Court convicted Bolsonaro of plotting a coup. They sentenced him to 27 years in prison. So again, Lula was in prison. They said, it's outside our jurisdiction. They released him. He ran. Bolsonaro, they convicted him and put him in jail for 27 years. Okay, that's all what led up to Jair Bolsonaro's son, Flavio, running, winning the first round and then somehow inexplicably losing the second round for the first time in the history of Brazilian electoral politics since 1989. Very, very weird. Very strange. Now, this has not stopped everybody on the left from celebrating Lula's victory. Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the EU Commission, congratulated Lula's win as a win for the, quote, rules-based global order and strong ambitions for our climate. That's kind of weird, considering that Lula is an open-minded person. He's an open ally of Iran and Russia. The rules-based global order. Again, it is amazing how the global left will all join in solidarity together. Alex Soros congratulated Lula for a win against authoritarianism. Because, of course, when you're talking about what is authoritarian and what is not, ignore the fact that Lula was literally in jail, was released, was allowed to run, skewed the procedures, and then, quote, unquote, won again. Now, again, I don't know whether he won or whether he didn't. All I know is that that is the most corrupt-looking procedural, set of circumstances I've ever seen in a major country. Pedro Sanchez, who himself is on shaky ground in Spain, celebrated Lula's win as a comeback of global progressivism. Zoran Mamdani, of course, wrote in support of Lula, quote, the people united will never be defeated. And Hollywood had come out to support Lula. Here's a bunch of idiot actors coming out to support Lula. Fight the fascists. Keep democracy alive. I love you. I love you. I love you. Alex Braga, Mark Ruffalo, My name is Leo Afinitrier,
Speaker 14and a big fan of Brazil. It's important to support Lula. We are hoping he gets a lot of votes on Sunday.
Speaker 2For culture, for education, for women's rights, and for all of them, for democracy. Let's go, Lula! Fight for good.
Speaker 1Keep the Constitution. Mark Ruffalo, oh my gosh. Yeah, the L is for Lula. But also for loser, apparently. What an incredible coalition. By the way, Greta, Greta, you know, like Greta. She also is in favor of Lula.
Speaker 16The Brazilian elections on Sunday might determine the future for the world's climate and environment. As the Amazon, the lungs of the earth, has been openly threatened by the far right and might reach a tipping point soon if that project succeeds. The Brazilian democracy is at stake. And it is no secret that if Bolsonaro wins, that it would mean a disaster for the entire planet.
Speaker 1A disaster for the entire planet, she said as she went on her next jaunt across the oceans and the seas to her next protest. To remain relevant. Okay, so here's the thing. Not every right-wing movement is created the same. Yeah, you're Bolsonaro. His movement is not the same as the Trump movement. It's not the same as the Orban movement. That's not the same as the Netanyahu movement in Israel. There's an attempt by the legacy media to try to tie all of these things together. And say they are all the same. They are not. Every single country has its own election issues. And its own series of issues on which an election is fought. But when it comes to the left, there is in fact an extraordinarily organized left-wing movement across the globe. Which is why all the protests everywhere look the same. Which brings us to Europe. So over in Europe, you can see all these protests. It's all the omnicost. It all looks the same. A protest in Brazil against Bolsonaro looks exactly the same as a protest in France against Emmanuel Macron. They all look the same. And they are backed by exactly the same people. All of them. And they are all explicitly directed against the civilization. So, here is a clip from over the weekend. So there's protests that started in France. Hundreds of thousands of people supposedly protesting because there wasn't air conditioning in schools. But really, it's just a bunch of dispossessed, downwardly mobile, highly educated former college students. And a bunch of immigrants from third world countries who hate the civilization. That is now unsurprisingly spreading all across Europe. In Italy, a bunch of protesters started right in front of the Colosseum where they were chanting, We are all Antifa, with flags from the flag of global loserdom, the Palestinian flag. Again, that flag now represents just hatred of the West generally. What in the world does a protest in Italy have to do with what is going on in Gaza? Absolutely nothing. But that's not what it's about. It's about third worldism and a belief that the West is guilty for all the problems of the world that must be brought low. Here they are outside. Again, iconic. Fulls of Western civilization. Carrying the flag of the third world. And they're chanting, We are all Antifa. Hey, I thought Antifa was a myth. I thought Antifa was a myth. That's so weird. Meanwhile, Nice, France, was being overrun with rioters as well. Here's what it looked like over in France. Thank you for watching. The destruction of Western civilization happening right in front of your eyes. In Lyon, a rioter started a fire and then was asked about whether there were children in the building. And he said, I don't care whether there are children in the building. Points for honesty. Things are going beautifully. Really, really nice. Over in Spain. Again, Spain is governed by a left-wing party. In Barcelona, looters were trying to destroy the city bikes. Those damned bikes. Those imperialist bikes. You have to destroy the bikes. That's the only way. In the name of student air conditioning in France, we must in solidarity destroy the city bikes. It's very important. The bikes have to be destroyed, guys. The city on bikes.
Speaker 17The socialized bike system must be destroyed.
Speaker 1What wonderful folks there are all over Europe. They've done such a great job of educating their youth and also importing an entire generation of people who despise the civilization. Here was one female Barcelona rioter trying to smash a store window. But guess what she was wrapped in? You're never going to believe what flag she was wrapped in. You're not going to believe it. You won't believe it. You'll believe it. What? It's good old times. There they are, wearing hijab. You know, in compliance with Islamic law, you wear a hijab, you wear a Palestinian flag, and you try to break into a store. That's what you do. Things are going great over in Europe. Well, The Economist tries to explain what's going on over the weekend. Even if some young protesters in France wear Algerian football shirts or chant pro-Palestinian slogans, the upheaval in Europe today is not about race or religion. Over 500,000 people marched in France on Saturday, and they were largely unmasked and white. They were fired up as another country. By the cost of living and poor public services, they want more fuel subsidies, more spending on schools, more handouts. Perhaps the largest group are aligned with the populist leftist Jean-Luc Mélenchon, an aging rabble-rouser and one-time Trotskyist, more akin to Bernie Sanders than an emir of ISIS. Real violence did follow, but blame that on other factors, none to do with race. Mobs struck at public buildings, police cars, and more. They also smashed and grabbed from luxury retailers like Louis Vuitton and small stores run by immigrants. The police failed to keep order, having earlier been accused of brutality against student protesters. And much of the violence was incited and orchestrated by anarchists who have a revolutionary political agenda. Well, I mean, one French protester explained the violence wasn't really the big issue. I mean, honestly, he's right. He says the whole system is being contested. This is correct. This is correct. Again, it's not that every person who's protesting is a radical Muslim. It's that you imported a bunch of radical Muslims who are marching in solidarity with people who hate your civilization, and then you're shocked by the coalition of scavengers trying to burn everything.
Speaker 17The youth, the people are revolting, not just because of one little issue, but because of the whole system. In the demonstration, people are singing, Siamo tutti antifascisti, they are standing for Palestine, they are going against war. It's the whole system that is being contested, and the role of the youth, the role of the young people also in this society. So the whole society needs to change. The whole society
Speaker 1needs to change. By the way, you can see in the background, the actual communist flag flying, like the actual flag of the USSR. Things are going great in Europe. So here's the deal, folks. Elections matter. Elections matter. Don't usher into power people who agree with people who burn your civilization. Don't usher into power people who wish to rig the entire electoral system if they got the chance. Don't do that. Get out and vote. Now, Republicans have a role, too. And that is not to alienate. The middle guys, all the American people want is some level of normalcy. That's the only thing they want. That's all they care about. Truly, all they want is just normal. So don't be weird. Just don't know. Well, along those lines, the president decided to get in a fight with Bill Maher yesterday. I don't know what the point of this is. Again, I'm friendly with Bill. I like Bill. Bill will probably vote Democrat. But, you know, we can have political disagreements in this country without declaring that Bill Maher is somehow the enemy. Bill Maher has been one of the people on. The left who is willing to actually call out the left for its extraordinary excesses. And he's willing to, you know, have conversations with people who are not of the left. Yeah, he got in a giant fight with President Trump or Trump went after him. So over the weekend, Maher questioned what President Trump might do if the Republicans lose.
Speaker 18I worry that if this election goes as badly as it looks like it's going to go for him and the Republicans, we're going to have a guy who doesn't have as much power as he did. And he's just we know he likes vengeance. Do you worry about this last two years? What any president would call a lame duck time, even a successful presidency? What's he going to be like in that scenario?
Speaker 19I don't worry about it, actually. And I think, you know, we understand where history is with these midterm elections coming up. I think in 11 days, the president does have a way of defying history. He was in the Oval Office not once but twice. And every poll said he wouldn't make it there. So. I think he's working really hard out on the road to turn Republicans out to vote. So let's wait and see before jumping to conclusions on the midterms. And I don't worry about the president. Look, he loves our country very much and he wants to make it right. And he has said you've heard him say this. I will work with Democrats to do what's best.
Speaker 1OK, so again, the president went after Maher because apparently he didn't like this interview with Caroline Lovett very much on Friday night. But Bill Maher also here was recounting his time with President Trump. This does not sound like a person who, you know. If you're going to spend your days fulminating online, this is probably not the guy you want to go after.
Speaker 18So we feel he just he's just so imperious when he's out of the White House and when he's there, the total opposite, he never pulls rank. No matter how flippant I get, he never goes, how dare you say that in the White House? I mean, I can talk to him just like I talk to any guy at a bar. And he does sound like a guy at a bar.
Speaker 19Well, he does, but he just he seems
Speaker 18to, like, go in and out. There are so many. There are so many moments where he gets it. Like I said to him, you know, when you said the Supreme Court, they're voting against me. You know, that's not how the Supreme Court is supposed to work. Right. It's not about they're not voting for against you. You appoint them and then they make decisions. And he went, yeah, I took that one too personal. See what I mean? He gets it and then he doesn't get it now.
Speaker 1Now, again, does this seem like somebody who the reason I'm pointing this out is because when you are running in an election or when you're the head of a party, you're running an election, you have to do two things. Make it hard to vote for your opponent. Make it easy to vote for you. Making it easy to vote for you means don't waste your ammo on erstwhile middle of the road people. Don't do it. I mean, here's Bill Maher over the weekend saying he doesn't give a crap about the whole ballroom, for example, which the left is totally obsessed with.
Speaker 18At least you're out. I don't I don't give a shit about any of this. I like the ballroom. Yeah, America does need a ballroom that we do. Yeah, absolutely. The United States of America have a dinner in the grass.
Speaker 19It's a shame. You're under a tent. Yeah. You're wearing these expensive shoes. I don't know about those ones, but maybe. Maybe you went to the White House. You would spruce it up.
Speaker 1So, again, something here set President Trump off. So he put out a thirteen hundred word diatribe against Bill Maher on Truth Social over the weekend. Quote, Let's talk about this complete and total loser, Bill Maher. He's got a low rated show on equally low rated HBO, which was once long ago a network of quality and excitement. But that's all gone. It's not. It's not hot anymore. Maher's friend and business associate, Chuck LaBella, was also a friend of mine, worked on the top hit show The Apprentice as a gopher. And because of the success of that show, number one and top rated on many weeks with the finale being among the top shows of the year, who's automatically and quickly brought up through the ranks of NBC, along with everyone else associated with that historic happening. And then he goes on like this for like a very, very, very, very, very, very, very long time. And then he's very upset. He says Caroline Leavitt was great on the show, but she started with a biased, dumb sleazebag asking questions. She defended me and herself so well, but couldn't be comfortable going after lie after lie. Importantly, Bill lied about all of the illegal voters and the radical, controlled, decrepit and devastated state of California. And then he just goes on like this. Why? Just why? Just truly why? Like there's there is a reason the Republicans in this election cycle who are doing better than the other Republicans are the ones who are not actually sort of running in Trump's wake and are running against radicals. This is why, again, I think Susan Collins. Is going to win Maine. But please make it easier. It's the last week of the election. Please make it easier for people in the middle to just vote Republican as opposed to thinking about silliness like this. There is no reason to do any of this.
