Ep. 2524 - I Watched All the Midterm Debates So You Don’t Have To

In this episode, Ben Shapiro opens with a hostile campus exchange at the University of Iowa, where a student shouted profanities and antisemitic slogans rather than debate. Shapiro frames this as the id of the Democratic Party: sloganeering instead of argument. He then turns to Michigan's Senate race, accusing Abdul El-Sayed of Muslim Brotherhood ties and refusal to condemn terrorists, while warning that prediction markets show him ahead. Shapiro urges Republicans to focus on candidates' extreme records, such as James Talarico's past calls to dismantle capitalism, rather than unverified rumors about his absence. He criticizes legacy media for omitting key texts in the Cornell "Jane Doe" case, including the accuser's reference to a "gangbang" and her statement that no sexual conduct was illegal. On the death penalty, Shapiro supports executing Nidal Hasan but questions the deterrent value of a one-time live-streamed execution. He defends ICE's shooting of Oscar Belgin, blaming the father for endangering his child, and slams Democrats for sympathizing with criminals. Finally, he condemns Trump's deal to buy Russian diesel, arguing it funds the Russian war machine, and criticizes Saudi Arabia's weak defense against Houthi strikes, urging conditional US support.

Speaker 1You can't entertain Americans when you actually hate the average American. Their values, their belief systems, you know, the country that they love. Enter The Daily Wire. Our newest release, Run, Hide, Fight, Infidels, is finally streaming. Radical jihadists will destroy our freedom, but only if we let them. If you're a fan of those over-the-top action-packed films from the 80s and 90s, Red Dawn, Toy Soldiers, this is a movie you're not going to want to miss. Red-blooded American good guys taking on the radical Islamic terrorists to regain their freedom. Watch Run, Hide, Fight, Infidels. It's streaming now, only on The Daily Wire. The Democratic Socialists of America, they've now won a bunch of primaries across the country. And next, they are coming for Congress, and they are coming for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, they will reopen our border, they will force men into women's sports. All that's going to happen. But you are the last line of defense, and GOPvotes.org is your partner in that fight. Head on over to GOPvotes.org right now. Make a plan to vote early. Okay, like if you vote early, it means that you're definitely going to vote, right? You're not going to get distracted on the day of the vote. Your vote will count. If you live in critical Senate battleground states like Maine, Ohio, or Iowa, early voting is already happening this week. Now, the Democrats are energized, and the stakes have never been higher. We cannot afford to have all of AOC's allies or communist cronies joining, running the show. It's why I need you to make a plan to vote early right this very second. Head on over to GOPvotes.org. Find your polling location, vote early, and stop the left-wing socialist takeover of the United States paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
Speaker 2The polls tell you what voters said at one moment, but Kalshi gives you another way to follow a race, a live market that moves as traders respond to new information. Speaker 3Say, fuck Israel, fuck Trump, the pedophile. Me and you on the stage in a boxing match. Okay, I'm going to need you to shut the fuck up.
Speaker 1Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I ended up telling a college student here to shut the fuck up. Well, here's the story. Okay, so I spoke at a couple of campuses last week, University of Texas at Austin and University of Iowa with TPUSA. Great events. Great events. A lot of fun, huge energy, really terrific. Well, immediately after I spoke at University of Iowa, I did what I always do. I've been doing this for literally two decades. I open up for questions and then I was the arbitrator of this rule. If you disagree, you go to the front of the line. I've been doing this for two decades. Again, that's usually an undergrad student or a professor, a grad student or something who shows up. And then we have some sort of polite exchange about one issue or another. Well, not this time. This dude, again, I have no idea who this guy was, decided it was time to scream into the void while filming himself. For legitimately a long stretch of time. So I tried to have a conversation. I really, really did. I did. But here's how it went.
Speaker 3The Prince of Madison here. Ben Shabir, or should I call you Ben Israelo. My friend, the enemy here is not the left. The enemy of the Epstein cabal who works for Israel. And we know who you are loyal to, my friend. The enemy. The enemy of the people who are taking our tax dollars to shoot and drug up a Palestinian five-year-old girl shot by 600 bullets funded by American taxpayers. This is 1948. We are no longer welcoming aid to Israel. You are the enemy. Trump is a pedophile and he's not releasing the Epstein file. Let's not lie to ourselves, my friend. Everything is clear. Everything is obvious. Who are you loyal to, Ben Shabir? Israel or America? Say it right now. America. USA against Israel. Israel. Israel. We are United States of America and we are not United States of Israel. Israel under my leg right now. Israel will not win. America. USA. USA. Fuck Israel. Fuck Trump. The president. Trump is a pedophile who is hiding the Epstein's list.
Speaker 1I mean, well, that was a deeply convincing argument. I must say that you screaming over and over Israel from Trump's a pedophile. I don't find it wildly convincing. What I do think is that you are demonstrating a complete lack of any sort of knowledge about anything and screaming. Like a schmuck performatively is not actually a form of convincing anyone. There's there's no listen, there's no response to people who are gonna get up there and just yell like assholes. Let me be very clear about this.
Speaker 3Okay, let's settle this right now. Okay, me and you on the stage in a boxing match. USA versus Israel.
Speaker 1Okay, here's here's. Okay, so here is. Here's my response. Get I have Ivers I've ever seen again. See. Okay, I'm going to shut the fuck up. You have nothing of relevance to say. You have no argument to make. You have sloganeering bullshit. You're spewing about me, about the United States, about the presidents of the United States. You have nothing of merit. So here's what I would recommend. Go read a book, get a job. You do something useful with your life. They're not sending their best. Don't chant in the name of my country while you call the president of the United States without basis a pedophile. Scream in support of terror groups and pretend that somehow you've made a meritorious point. Enjoy your earned obscurity. Again, why do I play that? Well, first of all, I should point out that any of the issues that this person has talked about, I've handled in a multiplicity of settings, including literally the night before University of Texas at Austin. We talked about Hinder Hobb at length with one of the students. All these can be raised in a normal context. But this is important. Why? Because it's indicative of the nature of our political debate at this moment. Let us be clear. The hard left does not want to argue. They do not want to discuss. They do not want to debate. They do not want to talk about facts. They want to impose. They want to shout Epstein files. They want to shout. F Israel F the U.S. They want to shout genocide and ignore literally all evidence. They want to ignore reality. And they're sending people who can barely speak English to lecture us about America while chanting U.S.A. while simultaneously sympathizing with terrorists, which is what's going on here. By the way, I'm not talking here just about idiot students. I'm talking about United States Senate candidates like, for example, Abdul Rahman El-Sayed in Michigan. So and the last week, Abdul Rahman El-Sayed. And yes, I can pronounce his name. He had a debate with Mike Rogers over in Michigan. And right now, the calcium markets suggest that unbelievably enough. There's a high likelihood that El-Sayed is going to win now that that likelihood has been dropping a little bit, according to the calcium markets. Some of our sponsors, El-Sayed is about 68 percent. Rogers is about 32 percent. With that said, the polling data on this particular race does not suggest a blowout election for El-Sayed. In fact, I think that no likelihood El-Sayed has significantly less of a lead than the calcium markets are implying. The last three polls have El-Sayed not only within the margin of error, but essentially in a dead heat with Mike Rogers, which is kind of amazing because Michigan is a very purpley state and is an off year election. And the person whose seat is being filled is a Democrat. But there is a reason for that. And that is because Abdul Rahman El-Sayed is a terrorist supporter. He and his entire family are Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers. And this goes back a long time. Well, Mike Rogers, shall act El-Sayed in this debate. He pointed out he has a very difficult time condemning terrorists.
Speaker 4Every single situation, Iraq, Iran, and what other wars is he going to cheerlead? That is dangerous. We cannot have that.
Speaker 5All right. Can I tell you what's dangerous? This is important. 15 seconds, please. He can't condemn a terrorist act that happened on our soil in the state of Michigan. He can't bring himself to condemn- I did condemn it and you know it. Oh, you did not. Come on, my guy. Don't make stuff up. You absolutely did not. Don't make stuff up. Don't make stuff up. Talking about making stuff up. I literally condemned it and you know it. This guy can't condemn it. Ridiculous. He can't condemn Hamas. He can't condemn the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas's home is Egypt. This is all starting in my home city. We are going to move along.
Speaker 1And again, Al-Sayed's response to this is not to actually condemn any of those terror groups. His response to this is to say that he just wants to talk about prices, which again, is the entire game. The entire game is misdirect. Abdur Rahman Al-Sayed is a candidate who literally justified terrorism at a Jewish day school by claiming that it was the same as the IDF hitting a member of Hezbollah in Lebanon. During this debate, Abdur Rahman Al-Sayed would not answer who is a bigger threat to America, Israel or Iran. Now, this is a pretty obvious answer. This is a pretty obvious answer. I don't care what you think about Israel. Iran has been antithetical to American interests for half a century. They literally chant death to America. They spread anti-American terror all over the region. They have been directly and indirectly responsible for the death of hundreds, if not thousands of American troops in the Middle East, responsible for terror acts across the globe. And Al-Sayed won't answer the question because we know what he thinks. He's in sympathy with radical Muslims all over planet Earth. Not. He has arguments. He doesn't have arguments, but because he wishes you never to see what he actually believes. I mean, at least credit to that student for saying what he actually thinks. Al-Sayed is just a liar.
Speaker 4I'm just going to say that that's a ridiculous hypothetical because here's what's happening right now. Our ostensible ally in Israel has lobbied us to go to war with Iran. We have watched as Iran has responded by bombing all kinds of countries in the Middle East and then choking off the world's energy supply. So this is a situation in which I don't think we should be a part. I don't want to be pushed into war by Israel and I don't want to be in a war with Iran. I want our money spent here to buy schools and health care and child care here. I don't understand why that is so inconceivable.
Speaker 1Okay. Again, he is a liar. He's a liar trying to deflect from a very obvious question where he, by the way, is blaming Israel for Iran shutting the street of Hormuz is pretty astonishing. And then Al-Sayed was asked about the fact that Iran is a liar. His entire family is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, which they are. By the way, his entire in law family, his entire actual family are associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Apparently he is backed by $115,000 from members of the Council on American Islamic Relations, which is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial. Abdul Al Sayed's mom worked for a global terrorist group accused of funding Osama bin Laden, Hamas and the Taliban. That's his mom, Fatih Al Komi. She worked for the Islamic American Relief Agency from 99 until 2004, when the US Department of Treasury linked the group to terrorism. Abdul Al Sayed's father in law is a founding member of the Islamic Society from North America, another unindicted co-conspirator in funding terrorism associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. He literally wrote a letter. He was a signatory to a letter when Muhammad Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood member, took over Egypt. Remember, after the so-called Arab Spring, when the Muslim Brotherhood took over Egypt. Al Sayed was a signatory to a letter. He was a signatory to a letter. He was a signatory to a letter asking Muhammad Morsi to crack down on dissidents, according to the Washington Free Beacon. But here he was denying connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Speaker 6For Michigan voters who are hearing those attacks against you, who are looking to separate fact from fiction, can you set the record straight about whether you or your family have any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood?
Speaker 4No, but let's talk about this.
Speaker 6No, you don't have any ties. No. And your family doesn't.
Speaker 4No. Let me ask you, though, why this is even a subject of debate. Because his only strategy is to point to me and my name and my faith, and to say that we're different. And that you should suspect people simply because they are different than you in how they pray. But there are so many more ways that we're the same.
Speaker 1No, I'm pretty sure it's not that. Oh, there's so many more ways that we're the same. Like, for example, we all love the Muslim Brotherhood, apparently. Again, this is insane. And if you believe it, you're a shill and a moron, truly. If you believe what he is selling you, if you're one of these dumbass mainstream Democrats supporting Abdul El-Sayed, while telling yourself that he is not an Islamic extremist, you're out of your mind. You're out of your mind. El-Sayed's sister, Iman Abdul Hadi, in 2012, openly tweeted, quote, "My family has long been Muslim Brotherhood, but I've always felt that it has navigated the political sphere poorly or destructively." That's his sister. That's his sister. Okay? 2013. Quote, "Praying for all my family that support the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, lie low, stay safe." I mean, this is who the Democrats are putting up for the job. It's the same exact guy. It's the guy screaming F Israel, F Trump, Epstein files, USA, USA, USA. If you're dumb enough to fall for this op, you are a moron, truly. If you're a Michigander and you're sitting there thinking Abdul El-Sayed truly cares about cost of living. That is his top priority. It has never been his top priority. That is the same crap that radical Muslims have always said to get into power. They always pretend that what they are for is some sort of left-wing social justice movement. And then the minute they gain power, it is full on to the radical Islamism. Always. It is all Takiyah. It is all lies. And Abdul El-Sayed is a master at telling these lies. Well, look, I've been saying the Democrats are not sending their best, but you're a small business. Be at your best all the time. One of the difficulties in running a small business is that sometimes your payroll outstrips your receipts. You have kind of a lumpy income. Sometimes you just need that short-term cash swing. Sometimes you need an actual loan. Well, Cardiff can help you out with all of that. Cardiff has funded more than $12 billion to small businesses nationwide. The application takes about three minutes. There's no impact on your personal credit just to apply. You can access up to $500,000 in same-day business funding. Approval in minutes. Funding same day. If your business has been operating for at least one year and generates at least $20,000 a month in revenue, visit Cardiff.co/shapiro. Real growth. Fast funding. Cardiff. Borrow better. Again, small businesses. You need this. And sometimes you need it on short notice. Well, Cardiff can make that happen for you in a way that's not going to lock you up in paperwork, take you forever. Again, Cardiff is the best in the business at this. If your business has been operating for at least a year and generates at least $20,000 a month in revenue, it's time to visit Cardiff.co/shapiro. That's Cardiff.co/shapiro. By the way. Cardiff is the largest business in the United States.
Speaker 7mentions Donald Trump, just remember, it's because she can't defend her failing record. She just admitted that the Medicaid fraud unit went from first to worst under her watch, and she has no good explanation for that. The reality is, I have gotten the president's endorsement, and I've gotten the endorsement of people who are very critical of the president, people like Alicia Wiesel, the son of Ellie Wiesel, who endorsed me because we are dealing with a surge of anti-Semitic hate crimes under Tish James, and she's doing nothing about it. I've gotten the endorsement of 42 sheriffs across New York. That's an overwhelming majority. That's stunning. Okay,
Speaker 1she, of course, is exactly right about this. In fact, she cut an ad on subway crime in New York. Here's what that ad looked like.
Speaker 7If you don't pay, you don't get in. And no, that doesn't mean putting everyone who skips a fare in jail. Enforcement can be simple. A ticket, a fine, turn them around. And if they're wanted or carrying a weapon, stop them. Before they ever get on a train. This isn't about criminalizing poverty. There are reduced fares for people who need them, and that program is actively being expanded. This is about stopping violent crime, especially for the millions of New Yorkers who have no choice but to take the train.
Speaker 8Look at the Paris metro. Look at Tokyo. Look at other major transit systems around the world. New York can do better. And it starts right here.
Speaker 1Okay, she's going to lose. Like, she's almost certain to lose to Letitia James because she's reasonable. And apparently, over in New York, you're not allowed to be reasonable. You have to vote for people like Letitia, the id of them. As long as she just says Trump over and over and over, then apparently her re-election appears in the mirror like Beetlejuice. Here she is explaining you don't have to look at the facts and the law when determining how to make decisions. Letitia James, insane. The quality of our public servants, they're not sending their best. Or maybe this is their best. Maybe this is the best they can do. Truly. I have to look at the facts and the law when I'm Attorney General on January 1. I'll do that. You don't have to look at the facts and the law. All you have to do is study what they do. It is illegal in the state of New York. Well, there you go. You don't have to look at the facts and the law, gentlemen. You're Attorney General. Ms. Comet's ready. Again, it's just insane. Letitia James is going to win anyway. It's just insane. I'm sorry. This is all crazy. Democracy, folks, please use your head when you vote. Meanwhile, in another fraught Senate race, we talked about Michigan. Texas is the other fraught Senate race. So the big rumor had a mental health crisis. Now, again, there is no actual factual support for this at this point. All we know, really, is that James Tallarico went missing for like two weeks. Now, that's weird. I will say, I think it's extremely weird. I do not believe that he just had the flu. I don't. I'm sorry. I don't believe it. And you're going to have a hard time convincing me that a man in the middle of the race of his life in Texas just came down with a two-week flu. I've been doing this show for well over 10 years. I've been doing this show for a long time. I've been doing this at this point. And I'm not sure I've ever taken off more than three days consecutively, including when I had the flu. So the idea that James Tallarico was in a flu state for two full weeks, no explanation. I find that very, very difficult to believe. And again, I don't have a problem with people doubting the official story on this, considering that for two years, we were told that Joe Biden was mentally able and well. When, of course, Joe Biden was effectively brain defunct. Well, still, there were a bunch of people who were pushing the theory that Tallarico. Jetted from Texas to Ohio for sort of a mental wellness stay at a particular mental health facility. The fact the facts on the ground do not support that at this point. Tallarico himself put out a tweet saying, I've never been to Ohio. The Lindner Center, which is, again, this mental wellness center in Ohio, they put out a statement saying Representative James Tallarico has never received treatment from Lindner Center of Hope. So, again, folks, do not put out easily theories. Please, please. I mean, I think you can ask honest questions about where the guy went for two weeks. And obviously, he is a super giant weirdo. I don't know a lot of people who can name their favorite drag queen off the top of their head. That's a weird thing to be able. It's not like, what's your favorite band? What's your favorite movie? Who's your favorite drag queen is a weird question to be able to name off the top of your head. And I would refer you if you want more about the weirdness of the man they call James Tallarico. Go check out our YouTube video over the weekend, which has hundreds and hundreds of thousands of views at this point that kind of spells out his record. Well, you might be suspicious of James Tallarico. I know that I am. But one thing you should not be suspicious of is precious metals, just as a general proposition, because if you're talking about one material that has been worth money for literally all of time, it is precious metals. And this is why in a time of great economic uncertainty, widespread government inflation, you might want to look at precious metals today. Check out my friends over at Golden Crest. Here at Tallarico, however, saying he just had the flu.
Speaker 9You've talked about how you're a diabetic and that has when diabetics get the flu, it could get really bad. How bad was it for somebody who wants to know, is this just like in bed rest or did you ever have to go to a doctor or hospital?
Speaker 10I just went to my primary care physician, but it wasn't, uh, worse than, you know, a nasty case of the flu. Um, and so I was in bed and, you know, drinking like lots of liquids. Uh, unfortunately the campaign made me work from home. Uh, so I didn't even get full days off, but you know, didn't want to be out on the trail and didn't want to get anyone else sick. Uh, it's important, I think, for leaders to be responsible in these moments. Uh, and, um, and I'm glad to be back feeling much better.
Speaker 1Okay. Now, again, I don't believe the story. I don't, I think that there's something else going on, but follow the evidence. Okay. Now here's the problem for Republicans. Republicans tend to follow, uh, the shiny object. And basically when it comes to democratic campaigns, very often Republicans are like a cat with a laser pointer and they're easily distracted. And so for example, there were like fully years where Republicans bought into the theory that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was a big thing leading up to the 2012 election. And there was this entire birther movement. So called birther movement, suggesting that his birth certificate had been falsified, that he was actually born in Kenya and Barack Obama was smart enough to play into it because he figured, okay, if they're talking about my birth certificate, which I can debunk just by dropping a short form birth certificate, then they're not talking about the fact I'm a crappy president who has horrible policies. And so he was perfectly happy to string everybody along for like a year and a half, not dropping his birth certificate. And Republicans, again, we have a habit of doing this. You remember that Senate race where John Fetterman, who again has had the wildest political switch in my lifetime, but John Fetterman was a very, very radical left candidate when he was running in Pennsylvania. And then he essentially had a stroke in the middle of the campaign. And the, the entire media tried to cover up the severity of the stroke. And the assumption by Republicans was if you talk about the fact that he has, you know, brain issues and that he can't get through a debate, then he'll lose. And he ended up winning because instead of talking about his policies, you talked about the brain issues. Here is the thing about James Tallarico. You don't need to focus, please don't on where he was for the last two weeks. It doesn't matter unless you have hard evidence of where he was. Don't do this. Instead, you should be focusing on the fact that he's a nut. Okay. Put aside, you know, mental illness or anything. He's just nutty. He believes crazy things. It is insane for Texas to think about electing a man who believes that capitalism must be dismantled. Not like when he was a kid, like five years ago. Here is James Tallarico saying that capitalism, climate change, and white supremacy are oppressive systems that need to be dismantled. This is in 2020. This is not when he was like 18. This is when the man was 31. Okay. Here's James Tallarico.
Speaker 10Yeah. And I'm, I am so thankful that you asked this question and also thankful that young activists have, have really drawn the link between climate change and white supremacy and capitalism in our country. And I think only ending the ways that all three of those oppressive systems work together, are we going to be able to begin the process of dismantling them?
Speaker 1Okay. Again, there is a left-wing Takiyah that takes place. Also people who just lie about their positions in order to achieve high office and James Tallarico is doing it. He's going to have to explain why he no longer believes that capitalism is an oppressive system that needs to be dismantled. See, here's my thing about you changing your mind. If you're going to change your mind, you must. explain why you changed your mind. Well, you can't just say I changed my mind randomly. You have to explain what you did wrong and why you changed it. If you can't explain that, I don't believe you. I don't believe that you ever changed your mind. There's plenty, again, there's plenty of material on James Tallarico. He should lose on the basis of that material. He should lose on the basis that he believes that God has multiple genders or that there are six genders or that you should trans the kids, right? Those are reasons why he should lose. And Republicans are making a mistake if they focus on the shiny object over here, the laser pointer on the wall. Okay, now, as we say, right now, if you look at the state of the race, there is a better than average shot that Republicans are going to lose the Senate, which again, I don't think is actually going to happen. I think the Republicans are going to maintain the Senate. I know that I'm an outlier in this particular belief, but right now, according to the calci markets, Democrats have a 61% chance to control the Senate. At this point, because they are giving Democrats a 60% shot in Ohio, a 68% shot in Michigan, a 64% shot in Texas, and an 86% shot in Minnesota, as well as a 73% shot in Alaska. Now, again, I don't think these are right. These markets, again, are the prediction markets and they change day by day. So obviously, this could change as we move closer to the election. But if Republicans do poorly, I will say one of the reasons that Republicans are not doing as well as they should is because they will not move forward. And if Republicans do poorly, I will say one of the reasons that they will not move forward is because they will not musculately defend the best things that the Trump administration has done. They won't. They're so divided over what the Trump administration has done that even the best stuff the Trump administration is doing, they refuse to explain or defend. And so here, I have to give some props to a guy who's going to lose. He's in New Jersey, so not a giant shock, but there is a GOP Senate candidate named Justin Murphy. And he is debating Cory Booker, who took out his confused eyes for this one. Cory Booker is Mr. Potato Head. And every day, he decides which eyes are going to pop in. And so here, he puts in his confused eyes for the New Jersey Senate debate. But here is the former Tabernacle Deputy Mayor Justin Murphy talking about what he would do with regard to Iran. This is the case Republicans should be making all over the country.
Speaker 11President Trump calls you and says, I'll do whatever you want. What do I do in Iran? What's your answer? Finish it. Finish that war in a positive manner. We can't wait halfway through and decide we don't want to do this anymore. The Iranian Islamic Revolution, the Revolutionary Guard Corps, is a radical terrorist organization that has deprived the Iranian people and the Persian people of their history and of a decent life. They have murdered, raped, tortured, assassinated, promoted, and promoted terrorism all throughout the world, especially in the region of the Middle East. They are a cancer on human existence. I remember as a young boy watching those walls of our, November of 1979, watching the radical Islamic terrorists storm over the walls of our embassy. And 52 Americans held for 444 days and ever since, November of 79, the IRGC in Iran has done nothing but export terror, murder, rape, oppression, and assassination to the region and to the world. And it's time it stops. Four decades is enough. The Iranian people have suffered enough. And I would say, Mr. President, put your cowboy hat on and get out there and kick some ass and get this done and done right.
Speaker 1Okay. And you can see Cory Booker acting all skeptical about this. What is the part of it he disagrees with? And Republicans should be defending the best parts, of the Trump administration. And believe it or not, one of the best parts of the Trump administration is the willingness to face down an actual foe who has declared its desire to wipe us off the face of the earth. That is good. Okay. Now, speaking of Democrats who are completely disconnected from reality, when we started the show by playing Democrats who are disconnected with reality, screaming at people and all the rest. Okay. I have to say the insane disconnect with this Jane Doe case at Cornell University continues to boggle the mind, totally boggle the mind. I got to say, the media malpractice that has taken place in this case is indicative of just how horrible the media are at their jobs. Truly horrible, the legacy media. Terrible at their jobs. Lie routinely. Say things that are not true. Ignore the full fact pattern. It's insane. And Michael Crichton, the author, he once posed what he thought of as a media problem. He suggested that if you're an expert in any particular area, and then you open the New York Times and you read an article about your area of expertise, you will identify quickly five to 10 problems in the piece. This is true, by the way. If you're a plumber and you see a New York Times article on plumbing, the reporter will get half of it wrong. And you'll say, man, this reporter sucks. And then you will turn the page to foreign policy and assume everything is right. Okay. Well, let me just say, the same newspapers that are reporting the Cornell University case, the Cornell 7 case, are the same newspapers reporting what's happening in Iran, are the same newspapers reporting what's happening across the Middle East and in politics in Michigan. So no, I don't trust them to get the story right. Why do I say that? Okay. So we have, and we've had for a few days now, the full Jane Doe texts to one of the guys she had sex with. And remember, the Jane Doe case happened a couple of years ago. What actually happened is that she voluntarily, well-intoxicated, went to, this is according to her own account, went to a frat house where she participated in sex with multiple men at one time. And then again, if she asked them to stop doing things, they stopped. And then she walked out, she texted with these men. She wanted to go back to what another frat party with them. They said no, because of the reputational harm she'd already incurred because she had, you know, been getting around. And then about three weeks later, she decided she was going to file a police report because she was sick of being told that she had been, shall we say, promiscuous. Well, now we have texts. And here's what some of those texts say from Jane Doe. Quote, you're right. It'll get better. And you think everyone's just jealous of us, but also like everyone needs to grow up because sexuality and sex and bleep is changing and stuff like this is going to become more common. I'm also really open-minded though, I love you, King. Also tell me anyone who gives you bleep that I'll actually beat them up so that don't want the smoke, I promise. Okay, so again, she's defending one of the guys she had sex with in the so-called gangbang from the predations of others. Another person texted her and he wrote, hey, this is Jonathan. Blank gave me your number. I just wanted to apologize for how things went down the other night. My memory is kind of fuzzy about a lot of it, but me and Matt both feel like bleep for being too effed up to shut it down and kick people out before it got way out of hand. You're an amazing person. I genuinely hope you're not catching as much heat from this as we are. We've been shutting down any stories we've heard, but again, I'm so, so sorry. And she wrote back, oh, Jonathan, I really appreciate this text. My memory is super clouded too. I think we are all way too effing drunk and high. I'm getting a little heat. Pi Phi girls, blank and blank, can't get my name out of their mouths, but that's to be expected. But at the end of the day, none of the sexual stuff was illegal. And honestly, I really liked being with you and Matt. So anything anyone has to say about the gangbang is out of their jurisdiction. I don't our body and our choice ASF. So that's the end of the case. I'm sorry. It is you text one of the people who participated in the so-called rape and say our body, our choice. Everyone's jealous of us to another one of them. And, uh, you explicitly refer to a gangbang. You do it. The case is over. So why is this a national case? Well, part of it is because of absolute, unbelievable media irresponsibility. According to media, CBS, New York confirmed it chose not to publish key parts of the text messages sent by the Jane Doe in the Cornell seven case from their coverage, including a message she sent to one of her alleged rapists saying they should not feel shame because it was quote our body, our choice. According to a report from the Federalist, the Federalist Brianna Lyman wrote on Friday, the outlets left out another crucial section of the same message where Jane Doe refers to the sex they had as a gangbang. The CBS New York report from Masa Saidi on September 29th mentioned to the accusers that she liked being with two of the alleged perpetrators as where, as well as where she said, none of the sexual stuff was illegal. A spokesperson for CBS, New York admitted that they reviewed the full text exchange before publishing, but opted to keep the, our body, our choice part and the reference to a gangbang out, you know, only the relevant part. They kept out literally only the, only the relevant part. That's insane. That's crazy because that's dispositive. Okay. If, if you're now accusing people of rape, but five minutes ago, you texted them our body, our choice and said that you enjoyed the gangbang we're done here. There is nothing else to say. There is no way to evidence a criminal case. None. You cannot do it. It is not possible. The spokesperson for CBS in New York said the outlet included a statement from Doe's attorney and quote, gave our audience the context necessary to understand why some of those messages may be disputed. Oh, did you, did you give your audience that context or did you ignore the key part of the messages? By the way, in October 1st, New York times report, which had four journalists on the byline also left out those same key excerpts. It's unclear whether they'd reviewed the excerpts prior to publishing their report, but they had mentioned that they had reviewed the excerpts and submitted. They'd obtained a detailed filings collected during the private title line proceedings, hundreds of pages of emails, text messages, photographs, and interviews with Jane Doe, her friends, and those she accused nuts. I'm sorry. Just crazy. The media are the most irresponsible actors in American life. Truly irresponsible. You want to know why people speculate about James Tallarico being on a mental health break and then they don't trust the legacy media when they say, Oh, he just had the flu. Maybe it's because you are complicit in every left-wing narrative you can possibly find guys. Maybe it's because of that. Don't you have any allegiance at all to baseline factual reporting? Insane. This is how movements get started. Movements are getting started around just basic falsity. According to the Washington post over the weekend, hundreds of demonstrators gathered on the national mall on Thursday evening in response to rape allegations at Cornell university. Again, rape, the rape allegations came weeks after the actual event. And she literally texted the men involved that she enjoyed the gang bang. What What in the world, what in the world? This is where, again, the narrative just outstrips. This is screaming man is the id. Screaming man from University of Iowa is the id of the Democratic Party. The facts don't matter. It's just slogans. In fact, the facts are an obstacle to reality. Here's some of the footage of the of the protest.
Speaker 12Justice! No means no! No means no!
Speaker 3No means no! No means no! No means no!
Speaker 1But she didn't say no. And when she did say no, they stopped, according to her own police report. They're just shouting about things that are not relevant. No means no!
Speaker 13No means no!
Speaker 1No means no! It's insane. Look at the size of this protest. What are they protesting? When people are holding signs and say, I am Jane Doe. I don't know. Did you consensually participate in a gangbang? Are you Jane Doe? I feel like if not, then you're not. And then it's like equal rights amendment. Yes. What does the equal rights amendment have to do with any of this? If you want to talk about equal rights, then anybody, anybody who is intoxicated, if they had sex, they were raped. That means that she raped them the same as they raped her. I mean, like, what are we talking about here? This is nuts. It's all crazy. It's all crazy. But the narrative is all that matters. By the way, Cornell University, you want to know the real problem. The real problem in all of this is that we have developed an entire moral culture that is built around the idea that the only, only thing that matters is consent. And then when people feel embarrassed about the consensual choices they make, they reach for something. Because they don't have the language to condemn things morally, as we discussed a couple of weeks ago. They just don't. I can say, you know what you shouldn't do? Engage in the kind of behaviors that these, that these people engaged in. Because it's gross and it sullies your soul. And it makes light of one of the most serious and wonderful parts of life, which is sex. They don't have language for that. And so the health.cornell.edu's yes, no, maybe so sexual inventory stock list says relationships, models, and choices. Sex of some kind with two partners at a time. Sex of some kind with three partners at a time. Sex of some kind with more than three partners at a time. I mean, at a certain point, you have to, you have to become an Andrew Tate octopus, I guess, in order to actually participate in these sorts of sexual activities. Like what in the actual, but they don't have any language to condemn it. And so now it turns into rape, just ridiculous. All right. In other hot criminal justice news. So there's big controversy over the fact that the US is now planning to live stream an army firing squad. Executing the Fort Hood shooter. According to Reuters, the US will live stream the army's upcoming firing squad execution of a gunman who killed 13 people at the Fort Hood military base in 2009. In what would be an unprecedented broadcast of a US execution. Nidal Hassan, former army psychiatrist, is set to become the first person to be executed by firing squad by the US military since 1945. He will be executed at the same sprawling Texas base where he opened fire with a laser sighted handgun in a medical facility. That shooting came weeks before he was scheduled to be deployed to Afghanistan. And he was left paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair from being shot by police during his arrest. So a few things to separate out. A few things to separate out. First, does he deserve it? The answer there is clearly yes. He deserves the death penalty. Yes, yes. And more yes. Is it a humiliation of him to have his execution publicly broadcast? Yes. And he also deserves it. Now, that brings us to a third question, which is, as we'll get into a moment, whether the US should televise this sort of thing. But these are separate questions. Does he deserve it? 100%. There's not an element that says that he does not deserve this. He was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. He shot a pregnant woman as she screamed, my baby, my baby. So, yeah, he has he has all of this coming. He has all this coming. Now, that raises the question of whether we actually should televise the thing. Should it be publicly televised? And again, we should separate off between the death penalty. It's not a death penalty. It's not a death penalty itself in that question and whether it should be televised. So George Washington's opinion, by the way, was if you are going to do executions, you should actually publicize them. Quote, I would to God that one of the most atrocious in each state was hung in gibbets up on a gallows five times as high as one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the man who can build his greatness upon the country's ruin. He's talking about hanging traitors is in 1778. George Washington. J.D. Vance, for his part, says he will not watch the execution.
Speaker 14Well, first of all, I've seen these announcements. I don't know if that's actually going to happen. Let's let's sort of see what I think is going to happen in December when when he's executed. But what I try to remind people is, look, this is a guy who committed, in my view, the worst terrorist attack on American soil outside of 9-11. The people that he was meant to treat, the army soldiers that he was meant to treat for mental illness and other problems, he took them at their most vulnerable and gunned down these people where they live. So whatever the controversy is about the method of the execution, I hope that people don't forget. I hope they don't forget that this is a guy who brutally murdered a lot of innocent people. Now, that said, I mean, look, if it's ultimately live stream, I'm not going to be watching it.
Speaker 1OK, so again, there are two questions, one death penalty and second, is it worth watching or should it be live streamed at all? So Pope Leo put out a tweet saying that the death penalty is an attack on the dignity of the person. Quote, the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment. Effective systems of detention have been developed to protect citizens, while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. Hashtag no death penalty. So a couple of things. The selective outrage from Pope Leo with regard to the American application of the death penalty, I find to be completely in absence when it comes to the mass slaughter of Christians all over Africa and the Middle East by radical Muslims. It's kind of a shocking disparity. Also, just going to point out there. Historically speaking, the church was quite comfortable with the death penalty. Augustine wrote, quote, great and holy men punished some sins with death because the living were struck with a salutary fear and because it was not death itself that would injure those who were being punished with death, but sin, which might be increased if they continue to live. St. Thomas Aquinas, every part is directed to the whole as the imperfect to the perfect. Wherefore, every part is naturally for the sake of the whole. For this reason, we see that if the health of the whole body demands the excision of some member that is being decayed or infectious to the other members. It is both praiseworthy, praiseworthy and advantageous to have it cut away. If a man be dangerous and infectious to the community on account of some sin, it is praiseworthy and advantageous that he be killed in order to safeguard the common good since a little leaven corrupted the whole lump. John Paul II in 1997 adopted a part of the catechism which permitted capital punishment under strict conditions, quote, if this is the only possible way of effectively defending human lives against the unjust aggressor. And then in 2018, Pope Francis went further and he changed the catechism to say, quote, the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person and then committed the church toward worldwide abolition of the New Testament. Okay, so again, hard to disagree. There are certain people who deserve not to live. If you shoot a pregnant woman screaming, my baby, my baby, you should die. The Bible, like the Old Testament, very, very clear on this going all the way back to the blood be shed. That's, again, black letter biblical law. So we're talking about in the religious context, there's that. But put that aside, there are basically two purposes for the death penalty. One is because the entire goal of government is to remove from private hands vengeance. That is one of the original goals of government. If you go to places that are anarchic, what you see is if a member of one tribe kills a member of another tribe, the member of the second tribe will go and kill someone, anyone from member of the first tribe. And that's how you end up with in large measure. And so the idea of a state that presided in impartial fashion over criminal law was a way of preventing tribal warfare. And what you see is in places where the law does not govern, actually gang warfare continues to thrive. This is true in the south side of Chicago, the same way that it's true in tribal Africa or tribal Middle Eastern countries. That's just a reality. So that is one purpose of the death penalty is when you give the power to the government to actually adjudicate the law and then enforce the law that comes along with certain things that require death. Okay. Second, there's the question of deterrence. And this is where you get into the public broadcast of this sort of stuff. So the question is whether this thing should be publicly broadcast. Here is my view. I am not against the public broadcast of death penalty application. I am in favor of doing it significantly more often. Okay. Here is the reason. If you're using this as a deterrent, the fact that we have done this live broadcast of a, of an execution once in literally my entire lifetime suggested is not an effective deterrent you're not going to deter deter terrorists by showing a firing squad for a terrorist. Now you might deter terrorists by showing firing squads for lots of terrorists. If you go back far enough in American history or just throughout Western history, what you'll see is that executions publicly were part of the way that law was enforced because the idea was if you violate the law, this could happen to you. But because we have an appellate system, that means that Nidal Hassan murdered 13 people back in 2009. And I checked my calendar and it's now 2026, 17 years ago. And we have never, so far as I'm aware, had a publicly broadcast execution. I don't think this is going to achieve the deterrent effect. I'm very much in favor of achieving the deterrent effect, by the way. I think if you commit a terrorist act on our soil, we should speed up the criminal justice process. It should not take 17 years to exhaust your appellate process. We should speed all of that up. If you're convicted by a judge and a jury, then we should perform the executions quickly and publicly. And we should do that much more regularly. Don't have a death penalty if you're not going to apply it evenly. Don't have a death penalty if you're never going to apply it. death penalty if you're going to take 20 years to apply it. not the way this was supposed to work. However, when Governor Josh Shapiro says this is how they do it in North Korea, not the U.S., well, no. Actually, in North Korea, they give you the death penalty for opposing the government. They don't give you the death penalty for murdering pregnant women.
Speaker 12They've decided to live stream, to live stream an execution of another human being. That's how they do it in North Korea, not in the United States. We're better than this. We're a kind people, not a cruel people. But unfortunately, Trump takes us to the lowest common denominator every time. Chaos and cruelty. How about the corruption that we're seeing from him every day?
Speaker 1Okay, now again, trying to suggest that the execution of Nidal Hasan is some sort of evil in the American spirit or something, that's nonsense. And again, it does actually, it does actually reflect a broader unwillingness of Democrats to come face to face with the evils of crime. And I think that you can be in favor of the application of the death penalty. I think you'd be against the public execution. I think that you can even be against the death penalty in general, on principle. I think you're wrong, but I think you can be. But the sort of bizarre sympathy that's being driven by some Democrats for some of the worst people on earth is really quite bad. And now this takes us to the area of illegal immigration. So over the course of the last few days, we've seen a lot of people who have been there was a shooting of a criminal illegal immigrant named Oscar Belgin. According to the NYPD commissioner, Jessica Tisch, is the New York Post reporting, ICE shot Oscar Belgo in the neck in the Bronx last Thursday when he pulled his vehicle forward toward one of the federal agents during his arrest. His four-year-old son was in the backseat and was unharmed. Belgo survived and was treated at the hospital. So who is this guy? Well, he has ties to the bloodthirsty Trinitarios street gang. He wreaked havoc at the Washington Heights apartment building where he lived until about a year ago. According to a one-time neighbor, he's a menace to society, the shaken residents said of Belgo, whom Mayor Mamdani outrageously called a New Yorker. His release, he tried to negotiate. Here, by the way, is Mamdani saying he's trying to negotiate the release of this guy. This guy, by the way, we should mention, he slipped into the US with a migrant caravan in 2022 without encountering border patrol. He whipped out a massive blade during a fight with a man outside a building last year. His rap sheet includes a 2023 armed robbery conviction and an August 2025 arrest for allegedly selling fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin. He's been involved in the shooting of a border patrol officer two years ago. The gang that he runs with is known for theft using weapons and mopeds. And here is Mamdani in solidarity with this criminal.
Speaker 15For the past two hours, I have been on the phone with President Trump and Secretary Mullen negotiating the release of the man ice agents shot. Those negotiations were unsuccessful. Just moments ago, ICE put the man in an unmarked vehicle and whisked him away. Let me say this plainly. What happened today was an outrage.
Speaker 1Okay, so he's trying to get him released. Okay, this is, this is nuts. Hey, Democrats, you want to embrace this? All right. All right. But, you know, have at it. Now, the DHS secretary, Mark Wayne Mullen, he said that the criminal knew that his kid was in the car when he started running at an officer. But we weren't aware the kid was in the car. So that's on the criminal, which, of course, is true. I will say this
Speaker 16about the five-year-old child. As a father of six, I would never endanger my kids. My job as a father is to protect my family, and I will die doing that every day. We wasn't aware the child was in the car, I can tell you that. But do you know who was? Oscar. Oscar knew he had a child in his car. Oscar chose to accelerate at a high rate of speed and ram two different vehicles as he appears to be going towards officers. And so the public outcry should be also towards this criminal, this thug, this gangbanger, this possible murderer. That race should be with him for endangering the five-year-old.
Speaker 1Of course, that is exactly right. But again, it's the same group of left-wing idiots who suggest that if the IDF has to shoot a terrorist, and they're going to kill a terrorist, and the terrorist is hiding in a civilian area, the civilian death is not on the terrorist, it's on the IDF. It's exactly the same logic. The logic is always the criminal is off scot-free if he basically shields himself with an innocent. Here, they didn't even know there was an innocent there. But Governor Hochul is out there criticizing ICE, of course, of course. Not the illegal immigrant criminal who brandishes knives and sells fentanyl, ICE. When you spoke to
Speaker 6the mom of that five-year-old, did she give you a sense of what that child saw and what they were able to process? You won't talk. You won't talk.
Speaker 17The child is not speaking. And that's what disturbs her so much, because she says he's very outgoing, very talkative. But he witnesses this. He's in the backseat of a car. The bullets are coming into the vehicle that he's in being transported by his father. And a bullet strikes his father's neck. I'm sure he saw bloodshed. And how does a five-year-old process that? I'm a mom. I just talk to the mom on the phone, but I just want to give her a hug and tell her this should never have happened to you. This is insane.
Speaker 1I'm sorry. This is just crazy. It is the fault of the dad. The dad is the one in the car with the kid who's running the car at ICE officers. That's whose fault this is. And our left wing, totally insane. Daria-Liza Chevalier, again, a nut who's going to be sitting in Congress. They're not sending their best, or maybe these are their best. Daria-Liza Chevalier, another DSA member, here she was on MSNOW saying that the fact that this immigrant was a criminal doesn't mean that ICE should be in our community. Well, I mean, what, where else would they be then?
Speaker 13The fact that, you know, in her remarks, Police Commissioner Tisch decided that it was appropriate to reference Oscar's past contact with the police as though there was anything that would ever justify having seven rounds shot into a car with a child in it. Right. To me, highlights the need to, to protect all folks in our community from this type of violence.
Speaker 1This is madness. The Democratic Party is fully in sync with criminality. They can't help themselves. They can't just make a rational argument on law enforcement or the death penalty. They have to actually express sympathy with people who are the worst people on earth. It's, it's truly insane. In fact, we have to import them. Back to Abdul El-Sayed, here he was in 2018 saying, we actually owe it to immigrants all over the world.
Speaker 4We've also got to make sure that in this state, we are not discriminating by documentation status. Right now, if you're undocumented, you don't get access to a driver's license. So you're stuck. You don't get access to a lot of the basic things the state offers everybody else. And I think that's ridiculous. And so we've got to stop discrimination, discriminating that way. People come here believing in the American dream and nobody believes in that dream like refugees do, right? They're coming here because they believe in an America where they too can have, have a better life. And, um, and we as a, as a, as a country, I believe, uh, owe it to the world to open our doors and, um, and we're better because of it, right? I've never met an immigrant in my life who didn't want what's best for their family and what's best for our country.
Speaker 1Um, I've met one. Who could he be? I don't know. Who doesn't want who does for what's best for our country? Who, who could it be? Who? Stephen Miller correctly says Democrats think illegals are more important than American children. He is not wrong.
Speaker 18Can you morally align yourself with the political party that thinks that the rights of illegal alien rapists are more important than American children? If you want the West to end, if you want the American experiment to end, if you want to have a society crumble and collapse because it's led by people who hate it, that's all the Democrats can offer.
Speaker 1And again, there are gonna be more criminals on the street. Secretary of Homeland security, Mullen says they're actually 258 illegal immigrants who are wanted for murder in New York. And they're back on the street.
Speaker 16Now you want to talk about the two individuals that have been, um, shot, since I've been secretary, let's think about the 258 illegals that are in, uh, New York city right now that were, that are wanted for murder. Let's talk about the 258 that have, uh, that are currently in state prison that killed individuals that were at legals that we got detainers on all 258 of those individuals took an American life and all 258 deaths were 100% preventable because those illegals shouldn't be here. Now, if people are really concerned, uh, about, uh, about the tactics that are being used, how about the state cooperates with us? These individuals that I've talked about have detainers on them. Oscar had a detainer on them. The two individuals that stabbed the New York PD officer, one of them had a detainer on them. That means they were, uh, locked up before we asked the state, we asked the city to give them to us and they released them back on the streets. If anybody should be an outrage, it should be the public to the sanctuary states and sanctuary politicians that continue to release these murders and thugs back on the streets. Speaker 2: Okay.
Speaker 1Well, again, he is right about that. Now I've talked a lot in this particular show about things that the administration is doing, right? I got to talk about something the administration is doing wrong. Now, one of the big pieces of breaking news, this was Friday evening as president Trump put out an announcement that he had made a deal with the Russians to deliver diesel fuel to the American marketplace. He said, I've just concluded a highly successful discussion with president Vladimir Putin of Russia, wherein it was agreed that Russia will immediately supply over 300,000 tons of diesel fuel to the American and global marketplace. Another half million tons during the month of November and 1 million tons immediately. Speaker 2: Thereafter. Additionally, based on the condition of their diesel refineries, Russia will then deliver within a short period of time, 3 million tons of diesel fuel between our total control of the Strait of Hormuz and this great announcement on Russian energy diesel prices for Americans. Speaker 3: And indeed the world will be coming down in record numbers and fast. Lower prices for Americans, especially our great farmers, ranchers, and truckers, is my greatest priority. This is a very big and important announcement. Additionally, it must be understood, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. So, obviously, the president wants to keep the kibosh on Iranian oil, which, of course, I agree with, and I think is not only the correct move, but the morally righteous move. However, what he is trying to do by manipulating oil markets, by paying the Russians, that is a terrible move. Every war is just the way that war is. Require sacrifice on the home front. I think the administration has not done a wonderful job of explaining what that sacrifice will look like, how long it will last, what the American people are being asked to do. I think it's been a shortcoming of the PR efforts on behalf of the Iran war. I think it's also been a shortcoming on the part of the Biden administration when it came to the sacrifices Americans would have to make for the Ukraine war. But guess what? Russia is a nefarious power that is literally acting. Not only against our interests, they've been giving targeting information, allegedly, to the Iranians to hit American targets and allies in the Middle East. Russia and Iran have been working hand in glove together. It's Iranian Shahed drones that are being used in Ukraine. Russia, China, Iran form an axis. They work together. They are deeply committed to fighting Western interests. And one of my hopes, I even expressed it last week, University of Texas at Austin, before this happened, was that the administration had been moving in a more pro-Ukraine direction, given the fact that Russia has been utterly intransigent throughout this entire war. There have been a bunch of off-ramps. Russia has taken none of them. Russia is firmly committed to the idea that the West will eventually collapse and they will just be able to grind down the Ukrainians into dust, paying the Russians in the middle of a war where the Russians are targeting Ukrainian civilian areas while they are looking with hungry eyes at Eastern Europe, including the Baltics and Poland. This is a large-scale mistake. Now, the president is putting heavy pressure on Vladimir Zelensky before the election not to hit Russian refineries, because apparently that is hitting global oil supplies. Again, wrong solution. Wrong solution. Hey, I understand. I do. That the prices are too high when it comes to gas and diesel. I get it. We should first acknowledge that the amount of oil that's being freed up here is not high enough to actually markedly change that. Apparently, 36 million barrels of oil, which is what will be freed over the course of the next, I don't know, three or four years, will be freed. The next few months is about eight hours of global oil supply. There probably will not be a meaningful drop in the price of diesel. But Trump smacking Zelensky because Zelensky is hitting the actual energy resources that fund the Russian war machine. This is wrong. Zelensky should be hitting those refineries. I hope he hits them harder. Here is President Trump.
Speaker 19But he could have settled it many times and he chose not to. We said you can do whatever you want to Russia. Don't hit the refineries because that's a world problem that's caused. And he wants to make problems for the world. He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers with diesel fuel because Russia supplies a large portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world. And we told him, do whatever you want, but don't hit the diesel fuel because it's a big problem, big shortage. And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel. He can do whatever he wants, but he can't do that because we have a world problem. And the problem is caused by the lack of refineries, the diesel fuel. So what does he do? He goes and hits refineries. And I said to him, do what you want. Don't hit refineries. Plenty of targets. And he went out and he hit and he's not going to affect our farmers and he's not going to affect our ranchers and he's not going to affect the rest of the world. So we better damn well stop.
Speaker 1OK, now, Zelensky immediately came out and said, listen, I'll ceasefire if Russia does, but they haven't ceasefired for one second. Is the president basically, said there's a ceasefire in energy? And Zelensky's like, well, that's news to me. Quote, today, there was a statement from the president of the United States that an energy ceasefire has been secured. This is good news for everyone. And it is important that it become reality. Unfortunately, Ukrainian skies have been infested with Russian Shahids all day today. Again, those are Iranian made drones. There have been glide bomb strikes and strikes on our energy infrastructure to a power plant in Kharkiv was attacked this evening. Overall, this past week alone, the Russians have carried out more than 200 strikes on our electricity generation and transmission facilities in Ukraine and another 17 strikes this week. Targeted gas and oil facilities. They've killed more than 150 of our people. More than 700 people have been wounded. Ukraine has proposed many desecratory steps. Putin has had one answer to all of them yet. We do hope he'll finally say something to America, Ukraine and the entire world that will lead to a real and dignified peace. Ukraine wants peace. The question is whether Russia does. The armed forces of Ukraine have received all the appropriate orders. We are awaiting clear details of the dialogue between America and Russia, and we expect Putin to follow through on what President Trump said. Of course, Putin is not going to follow through on any of that. And again, this is not unusual. In the lead up to the twenty twenty two election, you might remember that Joe Biden emptied the strategic petroleum reserve and then went and begged the Saudis. He had ripped on the Saudis for the killing of Jamal Khashoggi, Muslim Brotherhood Associated pseudo journalist. They've been ripping on the Saudis for years. And then twenty twenty two midterms are coming and he goes and he begs the Saudis to increase the oil supply. So an American president's taking foreign policy actions based on trying to lower the oil prices before the midterms. Not a rarity. However, funding the Russian war machine in order to lower prices marginally for a couple of weeks, that is not going to do it. And it is bad policy. Meanwhile, the Saudis are doing a terrible job of defending themselves. I say they're doing a truly horrible job of defending themselves. So yesterday, twelve American and twelve people were killed, including one American, and hundreds were injured at a Saudi airport in Houthi strikes. These were the deadliest attacks in Saudi Arabia in more than a decade. Major General Turki al-Malki, a spokesman for the Saudi led coalition in Yemen, said the attack, which killed an injured civilian passengers in airport, was a terrible attack. And it was a terrible attack. And then Trump basically said, you can do what you want. And then MBS, Mohammed bin Salman, the head of Saudi Arabia, got in a fight with the other force in the region, the UAE, which is run by MBZ. And they got in a fight with each other. There was some conflict over who should be in Yemen, who should not be in Yemen. Saudis have been playing both sides. They want to be pro-America, but they also want to make nice with the Iranians. And the Iranians sent weakness in the Saudis. So now the Saudis are lobbying America to get involved in Yemen. At this point, I should note, have you seen any of the isolationists who scream at Israel every single day and say that Israel manipulates America into war, saying one single solitary word about the fact that the Saudis are openly begging the United States to get involved in Yemen? Anything? Nothing? Bueller? Bueller? Now, the Saudis, again, have played their hand in singularly inept fashion. They formed the so-called coalition with the Pakistanis and the Turks. It is not working particularly well, as it turns out, because the Pakistanis are not good at this, and the Turks are unwilling to project their power. Here is CCTV footage from inside the Riyadh airport of the Houthi strikes. Pretty crazy. The Saudis, by the way, have been begging the Israelis for intelligence and resources as well. So, as always, the West should make its support for the United States. of particular regimes conditional on the willingness of those regimes to move in a pro-Western direction. If they do not, then we should leave them to their own devices. That should be the way that this works. Again, horrifying stuff. It also shows that, you remember when the United States engaged in a very short-lived war with the Houthis and then randomly declared victory? Largely at the behest of the isolationist wing inside the administration. Yeah, it turns out that, um, that wasn't real. Already coming up, speaking of foreign policy, we'll get into the insane Nobel Peace Prize. We'll also get into Go Woke, Go Broke, which is really becoming a reality.
