Ep. 2520 - They Tried To STOP Our Latest Movie Production. They Lost. F*** Them.

The Daily Wire's production of an untitled film about an ICE agent arresting a criminal illegal immigrant in Livingston, Montana, became the center of a major free speech controversy. From the first day of filming, left-wing protesters engaged in escalating harassment, including driving trucks at crew members, using bullhorns to disrupt scenes, releasing airborne irritants that sickened 18 people, and making death threats against producers. Despite having a valid permit and committing no violations, the Livingston City Commission voted to temporarily suspend the filming permit after a meeting the production team was not informed about. Ben Shapiro characterized this as a textbook "heckler's veto" and content discrimination in violation of the First Amendment. After threatening a federal lawsuit and following a seven-hour hearing, the commission reinstated the permit, though it imposed conditions including a screen to block violent scenes from public view. Shapiro noted that legacy media outlets celebrated the shutdown, proving they prioritize suppressing conservative speech over protecting free expression. The production continued and was completed despite the disruption, which cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Speaker 1So, that crazy lady is just one of the huge number of angry leftists trying to stop our next movie from being made. They're angry because the flick we have in production is about ICE arresting a criminal illegal immigrant, and then what comes after. The film is awesome, but that's not the issue. The issue is that they tried to shut us down, and they actually succeeded temporarily. They got a city council in Montana to side with them. And then, the media sided with the censors. Totally insane. Okay, I'm going to get to all the rest of the news of the day. A plague in Russia that might be a biological weapon, and Brazil making a hard turn to the right, maybe, and Barack Obama joining the 2026 campaign, all the rest of it. But, the truth is that we are the news today, the Daily Wire. For a company that's supposed to be irrelevant, we're in the news an awful lot. Okay, so, here's the deal. It has now been widely reported, so we're going to cover what's actually going down in a small town in Montana called Livingston. Livingston, by the way, is a blue town in bright red Montana. We filmed there before. We did Terror on the Prairie in Livingston. The film that we're filming in Livingston is about an ICE agent who comes under fire while arresting a criminal illegal immigrant. It's got a huge cast. It is going to kick ass. It's going to be great. But, from the very first day, protesters figured out that we were filming there. So, here's the thing. When you put together a film, it takes a lot, a lot in terms of production. You have to get the permit, which we did. You have to get everybody there, which we did. Every single day costs you hundreds of thousands of dollars to film. All these people decided to show up and, and disturb the filming. They went on, as we'll discuss, all of their group chats, and they decided to mobilize in order to stop us from filming. This included some of the weirdest people in existence. Because Livingston is apparently filled with weirdos. There's one man playing the trombone and heckling us.
Speaker 3Was there not enough footage of this lady getting murdered in the street? There wasn't enough footage of that. You guys would have to, like, remake it because there wasn't enough footage of this lady getting murdered in the street. How sad are you, man? Really? I don't care if you're a Democrat or Republican. How sad are you to f***ing come out and, like, remake some s*** like you're making it?
Speaker 1So, dude playing the trombone badly to try and stop us. Here's a woman who was protesting in the middle of us shooting, attempting to stop the shooting and thwart it.
Speaker 4"I just want you to remember that Ben Shapiro's a cop. I just want everyone to know, Ben Shapiro's a cop. Just so everybody knows."
Speaker 1If that sounds like that person has a low voice, there's a reason for that. There's a reason for that. And, of course, one woman showed up playing loud music right outside the filming location, in an attempt to prevent us from actually successfully filming. So, we're filming in private property, and this person brings, like, a karaoke speaker to try and disturb the filming. Now, listen, originally, we didn't actually require armed guards around the set. After all, we're filming in a small, relatively crime-free town. But, according to the lawyer's letter we actually had to send to the Livingston County Attorney's Office, we had to get security on the very first day. I'm gonna explain in a moment why we actually had to send a letter to the city council. But, again, that's just some of the insanity that happened on set. According to the letter from our lawyer, here's some of the insanity. On September 22nd, a man in a pickup forced his way through the producer's barricade, aimed the truck at the production company, the production assistants who tried to stop him, and drove at roughly 30 miles per hour toward the cast, crew, and background extras, while screaming, "You guys are F-fascists. F-you." Because nothing says free speech quite like driving a truck at people, while trying to disturb their legal activities. The next day, one Keegan at Nation arrived on set at about 9:00 AM, walked through the locked-off area into the middle of the set, within feet from the cast and crew, and began shouting obscenities, as well as, "Free Palestine." That is the person that you saw there. She returned about an hour later with a bullhorn, and spent the morning calling out individual crew members, by physical description. When the crew started rehearsing a vehicle stunt, this person began shouting action cut, and fake countdowns over the bullhorn. The precise commands that keep performers from being struck by a moving car. And then, this person's companions did exactly the same. The next day, two cyclists breached the perimeter, rode between the crew and the cameras during a take, while blasting music with the lyric, "F-ice," and ran over a crew member's foot. A man pushing a toddler in a stroller, fitted with a loudspeaker, played the same track. An individual from a neighboring building screamed obscenities, made obscene gestures at the crew all day, while repeatedly triggering his car alarm. Nashin told the producer's security manager, "You'll remember my name by the end of this film production." Crew members were doxxed online, followed to their rentals, and confronted in restaurants and shops. Security had to go from one guard to four. The day after that, a man in a Jeep Cherokee, bearing a fraudulent temporary tag, refused to leave the perimeter, then put the vehicle in drive, and rolled it toward two security managers, who were pinned against a wall with no escape route. He stopped only when one of them placed his hand on his sidearm. Later that day, a second Jeep driver intentionally swerved at a security officer, returned, tried to grab a security manager's plate carrier, and, we understand, was cited by the PD for public intoxication. Nashin came back and physically blocked the stunt vehicle during an alley rehearsal, while her associate, Brooklyn Wilde, flew a drone within feet of the crew. Crew members were told their tires would be slashed. A flyer circulating on social media called for protests at the set every day. Through October 10th, security had to be increased to six. On September 26th, Nashin and a companion set up a loudspeaker at the corner by the food bank, and spent the day broadcasting profanities about Ben Shapiro and the producer's agents by name. A man with a dog breached the south perimeter, called the security manager a Nazi, and demanded that the guards shoot him. That evening, the security firm's owner found a man in a car with a fictitious Montana plate parked outside his private residence. The driver sped off and approached. The day after that, photographs of the security manager were posted on Reddit, and other platforms alongside comments about bringing guns to the protest, open carrying, and chasing security personnel out of the area. A couple of days later, on September 29th, protesters set up a generator-powered PA system. At seven o'clock a.m., beside the crosswalk, the background cast uses to reach the set, and accosted the extras as they crossed. Somebody impersonating a crew member, wearing a radio headset, and using a crew member's real name, had to be removed from the set. A woman released a bag of airborne seed pods into the wind over the set. The producer's licensed set medic treated 18 cast and crew for coughing, throat irritation, eye irritation, difficulty breathing, and allergic reactions. LPD had to cite and release this person. On September 30th, the administrator of the private Facebook group Livingston, Montana, Rant and Rave posted, referring to one of the film's producers, F. Carter-Bohm, "Shoot the effing bitch in the head." Overnight security photographed a man in all black wearing a balaclava and carrying a large duffel bag, standing in front of the set before being picked up by a waiting car. And Nation apparently had been asking around town as to where the producer Ari Novak lived. So, again, all of this was already crazy. This is already crazy, but then, it turns out that the legal agency of the city, the Livingston City Commission, decided to basically go along with the people breaking the law and disturbing the set. The nutty members of the town descended on the Livingston City Commission and demanded they rescind our filming permit. Now, of course, again, we had a permit. Of course we did, because we don't violate the law. And so, some of the lefty townspeople decided to use the power of the law to stop us. And they were helped by the county commissioner. According to our attorney's letters, they basically held a meeting on Saturday, that meeting, we were not requested to attend, so nobody from our side showed up. And the commissioners basically just violated the First Amendment pretty openly. Commissioner Jessica Wilcox framed her number one question as, quote, does Livingston really want to approve projects that require armed guards? But of course, the police are only there because the protesters keep committing crimes. The residents who told the commission they're afraid to leave their homes are afraid of the same people that the producers are afraid of. Blaming the producers or the hecklers is, again, the heckler's veto. Commissioner James Willick announced that his top three priorities were, quote, health, safety, and well-being. And this thing does not seem to be beneficial on any one of those fronts. He added, quote, we can have film productions that don't ruin our neighborhood and our community. Again, the idea is that we ruin the neighborhood and the community by filming a thing that you don't like. And so you bring all of your friends to completely destroy the community. And then you blame us for it. And then the city commission will side with you. Commissioner Melissa Newt, who is a wild human being, she explained her vote to, revoke our license by observing the police officers at the site who, quote, are normally like joking around and pretty jovial, were pretty focused and serious and are just a different energy level when I was down there. Well, I mean, the officers were serious because people were threatening to shoot the producer of the film. Again, this Newt's person, according to a 2020 webinar that she gave on the equity of wildfire smoke, she introduced herself as white, cis, heteronormative woman who uses the pronouns she heard and was raised in the dominant culture. And she added, quote, given my conditioning within white culture, I may unknowingly cause harm and I apologize. So that's who the city commissioners are. Well, apparently the Montana City Commission needs someone to explain the constitution to them. But you do not need an economist to explain inflation to you. All you have to do is look at your costs. There's lots of stuff in your life that's gotten more expensive, obviously. Obviously, it's having a massive political consequence for Republicans and across the board. Here is the problem. If you're approaching retirement, you spend decades building your savings account in dollars. And then if those dollars buy less, your retirement is worth less. And that's just how all of this works. That is one reason some people use physical gold and silver as a counterbalance to inflation. I'm not saying you should take your entire retirement and then put in gold or something. But here is something many people don't know. Eligible IRA or 401k funds can, in fact, be rolled into certain physical gold and silver without current taxes or early withdrawal penalties when properly executed. If you are a leftist who violates the law and you show up to violate the law and you disrupt a legally licensed filming, the city council will side with you and call the production dangerous and pull the license. Now again, I've seen this over and over and over. I've done, I've played this game before. I've been at probably dozens of universities and major universities where I was supposed to speak and then threats from the left caused the administration to cancel the event, blaming the violent threats. Again, this is just the heckler's veto enforced by the authorities. But let us be clear. There's only one reason the city commissioners ruled last Friday they were going to stop our production on the street. Politics, pure and simple. And they pretty much admitted it. One commissioner named Cindy, Cindy Daniels said, quote, I'm not willing to sacrifice the resources, the safety, the security, and the mental health of our community. Absolutely not. This wasn't a Hallmark film. This wasn't, you know, Christmas time in Livingston and it was a romantic story. Well, I mean, I wasn't aware that we had to fulfill your idea of what the story required. In fact, I'm fairly certain the first amendment says precisely the opposite of that. So they're saying a Hallmark romance would have been totally fine, but a Daily Wire film about enforcement of immigration law, loses, that is content discrimination openly performed and a violation of the first amendment. So here's what happened. On October 3rd, which was last Saturday, the city commission temporarily suspended our shooting permit with five and a half shoot days remaining. And that cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars. We literally had to spend the weekend building a fake front for the storefront that we're using, which you'll see in the movie, on the chance that they would ban us from being able to film from outside the storefront. So that cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars. When we bring crew and we have to do extra work and we have our actors sitting around and the rest of the crew sitting around, that costs us money. It is also highly illegal. The constitution prohibits the commission's suppression of the producer's protected speech. The commission did not suspend this permit because we did something wrong or broke the law somehow. They did it because a bunch of left-wing extremists who object to this film from the Daily Wire spent 12 days assaulting, threatening, doxing and physically obstructing the producer's employees until the city decided to ban them. The city decided that it was easier to actually stop the production than to silence the mob through actual police enforcement of the law. The Ninth Circuit calls this the heckler's veto and it is content discrimination. So we continue to produce, right? We did not stop, not for one moment, not for one second because we are not going to be put off making the content that we want to make and that our consumers demand from us because there are people who wish to violate the First Amendment. So we made very clear with this big lawyer's letter to the city commission that if they want to ban us, if they continue to hold up the shoot, we were going to sue them into the ground. It'd be in clear breach of the First Amendment. We would file a federal lawsuit as of this morning. So last night, after a seven-hour meeting, seven hours, the city commission reinstated the permit for filming. Now again, we would have finished the film anyway, but we certainly would have sued their asses off under the First Amendment. And again, this is a seven-hour hearing at which every nutjob showed up to talk about the deep and abiding harm caused by the shooting of a film they just didn't like. But there's even more to the story. There's even more. There's even more to the story. And this part is really kind of insane. It is not just that there are a bunch of lefties and then a local city council that decided they were going to do the wrong thing in violation of the First Amendment and then backed off. The entire entertainment media celebrated and cheered the shutdown of free speech. This is what they did. The entire entertainment media decided it was a positive good to stop movies from being made that they did not like, which is kind of astonishing, right? I've been told that the Trump administration is a threat to the freedom of the people of the press. And here are the members of the press literally cheering the power of government being used to shut down a production they do not like. Pure First Amendment abridgment, pure unadulterated censorship. And the media cheered it on with all of their fervor. Again, can you imagine the opposite if there was some filming in a red town in Alabama and it was a lib film and a bunch of conservatives showed up outside to shout and scream and then the city council revoked the permit in the middle of the shooting? It'd be a national issue, obviously. What we don't hear about for weeks is book-burning evil Republicans. But left-wing Democrats are doing this kind of stuff all the time. And the media are cheering it, literally cheering it. So Will Sommer, who's a columnist for The Bulwark, okay, The Bulwark used to originally be sort of the anti-Trump pseudo-conservative publication. Now, it's just a left-wing publication presenting itself occasionally as conservative, even though they're really not conservative. They're basically suffering from terminal Trump derangement syndrome. They put out a piece titled, quote, a small Montana town tells Ben Shapiro to F off. The Daily Wire wanted a backdrop to film an Antifa siege. The filmmakers got a revolt over their own behavior. Okay, so again, celebration. They told us to, me in particular, to F off. Now, I should point out, our company is large. We have a big company. And our company, as we'll talk about in a second, is killing it right now. We are doing great right now. But, obviously, the media are celebrating the fact that censorship occurred here, quote, While the commission will meet again Monday evening to discuss the pulled permit, things aren't looking good for all Ben Shapiro. Shapiro will no doubt cite this town in deep red Montana as an example of wokeness run him up. But having watched four hours of the Saturday hearing, I can firmly say it paints a different picture. Because even though Pawn Shop, that is the temporary title of the film, controversial subject matter has attracted protesters, few people at the hearing brought up the film's content as a reason to pull the permit. Um, dude, that's a lie. Last night, the commissioners had to tell people not to talk about the political content of the film. They had to tell people not to talk about the political content of the film. And people couldn't stop themselves anyway. And again, the reason this has become an issue is because of the political content of the film. We made a film that the left hates. They haven't seen it yet, but they know they hate it. And so they decided to shut down the production. And Will Summer and his team are like, oh, it has nothing to do with politics. Summer and his friends are so ecstatic to see a conservative production shut down, they're going to now pretend that this was some sort of content-neutral shutdown, which is absurd and ridiculous on its face. The reality is Will Summer and company are happy, more than happy, overjoyed, to destroy core free speech, so long as that free speech cuts in a direction they don't like. And by the way, it's not just the sellouts at the Bulwark. It's the AV Club at The Onion who put out a headline, quote, the Daily Wire's new ICE propaganda film temporarily shut down in Montana. Pawn Shop, which takes ICE's side in the Rene Good killing, is accused of unsafe conditions and disrupting a local food bank. So first of all, I mean, I don't want to get into the plot of the film. That is inaccurate. Second of all, we should point out that the AV Club is totally misrepresenting everything that happened. And here's how you know. Here's their description of the situation. Okay, there's a direct quote from the AV Club, which is the entertainment outlet over The Onion. Quote, The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro's ultra-conservative white nationalist media company. Yeah, guys, you know how many white nationalist media companies are, you know, co-owned and co-founded by Orthodox Jews. Tons of them. We in the Orthodox Jewish community, very hot on the white nationalism. Love it. You stupid idiots. Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro's ultra-conservative white nationalist media company and would-be movie production player is making the wrong sort of news once again but even deep red montana has its breaking point now again it's a liberal town livingston in deep red montana hey that that town livingston voted in favor of kamala harris in the last election cycle but put that aside they say that we were basically shut down for allegedly unsafe and disruptive production no that's not what happened here that's not what happened which is why the city council had reversed himself so apparently again according to the av club the liars over at the onion we are a white nationalist media company that makes movies with black heroes like run hide fight infidels and hispanic and korean heroes make sense but here's the point the av club is excited to shut down film production because they disagree with the film again this is the left they are petty tyrants they are petty tyrants they are perfectly happy to shut down filmmaking so long as that filmmaking isn't wild leftist the daily beast same exact routine their headline was quote unhinged bag of movie production shut down after backlash a new right-wing movie takes ice's side in the shooting of renee good again the montana town where it's being filmed is pushing back so again the movie is um is pro ice for sure but uh what does that have to do with anything you're admitting the charge you're admitting that you are happy to see it shut down because it does not take the radically anti-ice position of the hard left and here's what they write quote residents of a small city in deep red montana have rallied against the production pawn shop an upcoming film from the daily wire that sounds like a mega fever dream now again they're just admitting the charge they're not saying oh yeah there was misbehavior by the production because there wasn't they can't say that they're just admitting that they are perfectly happy to quash free speech as long as the speech opposes their agenda in the republic their headline was ben shapiro's next movie is unbelievably offensive cool have you seen it yet again these people are not even hiding the ball these censorious jacks just want things they do not want to see it they just want to see it they just want to see it not like barred by law it is that simple they don't give a about free speech they don't like free speech free speech is just for them it is not for the people who oppose them now there was a seven hour meeting last night it concluded at 1 a.m montana time apparently more than 100 people came to a city commission meeting to air their fake grievances and then because again they would have been in violation of the first amendment and we would have sued their asses into the ground the commission voted to reinstate our permit under certain conditions of course they put on certain conditions one of those conditions i'm not even going to go into the details of that but i'm not kidding you i'm not kidding was to erect a big feelings wall to quote visually obstruct scenes that include violent activity from public view a big beautiful feelings wall big beautiful feelings wall right in the middle of livingston i'm not even kidding i wish i were i'm not so these people shut down our set it cost us hundreds hundreds of thousands of dollars because a bunch of transgender activists and blue hairs and soy boys and left-wingers were upset about the supposed paramilitary security that their own violent threats required us to actually go and obtain and the road closures that we legally received a permit for again all this is the reason they were losing their mind is because of the contents of the movie and who is making it they hate us they hate everything we stand for that of course is perfectly obvious they're not even really hiding it very much but here's the thing the daily wire we're not going anywhere they tried to throw us out and they lost we'll finish our work this week despite the entire town trying to stop us apparently and we will put out this film which again kicks ass it's a movie nobody else would have the balls to make it's awesome the more you entertain these made-up stories from a bunch of left-wing protesters and demand insane set changes like privacy screens big beautiful feelings walls because our scenes are too triggering the more justified our mission proves itself to be we are obviously right over the target when you try to shout us down you only make us more powerful your antics are not going to work the film will be completed and it will be released and will be highly successful just like a bunch of transgender pro-palestine pro-illegal immigration crazies trying to shut us down and failing we call those feathers in our cap trophies over our mantle listen this isn't my movie it's the daily wires we are a large media institution all you keep doing is pouring more fuel on our fire by the time we finish filming this movie we're already starting production on the movie after that and that's before you get to the five new shows we have running at the daily wire our midterm coverage to make sure democrats don't ruin the country and all of our amazing reporting and opinion and all of our amazing reporting and opinion and all of our amazing reporting and work going out every single day from daily wire editorial and by the way you know what we've done so far in the entertainment space run hide fight infidels hand dragon cycle and now this new movie which is going to be awesome we have not even gotten started we have so much more coming and yes i mean that beyond the movie that we're currently filming you're going to find out about it very very soon and it is going to blow you away it's truly an astonishing astonishing thing i can't wait to tell you about it i have to bite my lip not to tell you about it because it's awesome it's going to blow you away it's truly an astonishing thing i can't wait to tell you about it it's so good i'm just going to say it though obviously we need your help to continue to fight this fight this is why your subscription isn't just you getting our content it's you helping us fight the fight not just because your subscription helps us do the reporting that changes the political map or helps us continue to provide you shows like mine or matt walsh's or michael knowles or matt frad's or isabel brown's or the morning wire and all the rest but because the left obviously desperately would love to shut us up and they'll use the force of law to do it if they can that is top priority for them free speech nothing to them tyranny everything so again now's a great opportunity to join the fight it is fun it is awesome and we're winning we are winning which is why they're trying to stop us well joining me on the line is dallas sonier dallas is of course the head of bonfire legend he's the producer on not just run hide fight infidels but a bunch of our flicks including one that we are currently filming right now in livingston montana and we've run into some snags dallas i think you're living your best life out there but you know for those who don't understand what it means to kind of set up and get permits for a film like the one that you're watching right now it's going to be a that we are currently doing in livingston montana i explain to folks the process first of all like what you actually have to do in order to be able
Speaker 5to film sure so whenever you set up a movie in a town you work with their city council or their city commissioners and their city manager to get a permit to allow you to shoot on the city streets and public property when you're on private property you don't need any permits only for specialty items and things like that so in this case we had a permit we worked with the city everything was great but we had so many radical lunatic protesters uh and they really caused us a real problem we had trucks driving on set calling us fascists screaming the f-bombs we had a woman crawl all the way into set free palestine it was a nightmare and so we needed extra security and so we amended the permit got extra protections things like that anyway eventually the city just decided to temporarily suspend our permit and we were able to get a permit and we were able to get a permit and we out of pressure from the mob and yesterday last night in a seven hour meeting we were victorious and we got our permit reinstated and we are back to shooting this
Speaker 1morning so tell us what is so insane about all of this is that was very clearly a case of the heckler's veto the original meeting happened on saturday there was no kind of notice that was given out to us to our production team so there's no one representing the production team at this meeting because we had no idea they were going to just pull our permit randomly now they tried to claim that of course the reason they were upset had nothing to do with the permit and they were going to pull our permit randomly so there's no one representing the production team at this meeting because we had no idea they were going to pull our permit randomly so there's no one representing the production team at this meeting with the content of the film when clearly it has everything to do with the content of the film this film is about an ice officer who's trying to arrest a criminal illegal immigrant and everything that happens they're from and everyone who's very upset about this thing created all of the issues and then we had to respond to the issues by doing things like getting security and then they use that as an excuse to shut down the production full scale it really is an insane instance of censorship
Speaker 5yeah that's right so the reason we weren't there at the meeting on saturday first off was because we were shooting the movie we were shooting the movie and we were shooting the movie and we were working this is not a production where producers sit around eating bonbons with their dog and video village this is we are physically on set making the movie second we were advised by the city not to attend the meeting they didn't know that they that the commissioners were going to vote to temporarily suspend so you had sob story after sob story cat lady after cat lady come through and just cry about armed security guards and this and that all it was it was it was the great meme you know where the guy sticks the uh uh fork in the bike spoke and then falls and then blames it on somebody else that was really what it was and so look we came back last night we're calm collected thoughtful but we were very forceful and we told them we're going to shoot this movie in livingston no matter what they can't stop us this is the united states of america and please reinstate the permit which they did and they did the right thing but it did take seven hours of deliberation and crying and people coming in and talking during the public discourse and it it just shows you like we were here five years ago making terror on the prairie and this was a red state red city and in five years since covid it has literally gone to crap and so it's a real shame because livingston's a great place and i love it and i'll come back here again but it happens fast and this is a warning to all americans like get out there and vote get out there and build businesses and because they will tear you down and just be prepared for the fight
Speaker 1yeah dallas i think one of the things that people need to understand about the way these productions work is every single day if you get delayed it costs you legitimately hundreds of thousands of dollars it is not as though you can just have people sitting around doing nothing if they tell you you can't film in a particular place we've got stars on the set that we are paying money we have an entire production crew that we're paying money we have cameras we have like everything over there and so if they just say randomly one day we're not going to allow you after you've already paid for the permit and to just film, it costs us an enormous amount of money.
Speaker 5correct it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars a day in fact out of anticipation for not knowing what was going to happen last night we built a second set in the parking lot which is private property so that we would have a alternate way to go today thank gosh we can tear that set down today and finish the movie in in the streets as planned and things like that but it was crazy and we worked all weekend no days off great production crew we have amazing uh team and they pulled it off so we were ready no matter what happened last night to do it either
Speaker 1way you know dallas people don't know what the movie is about at this point we're not going to reveal everything about it but the movie does kick ass it is awesome and it does demonstrate how insane the left is they are perfectly willing to throw out the first amendment by the way not just the left the legacy media i mean every major entertainment outlet covered this story and treated it as though it's a legitimate act to simply deny it a permit after it's been issued despite the fact that we are at no point in violation of our permit and people were using openly in the entertainment media the excuse that they don't like the content of the movie it is not as though they are hiding the ball basically their perspective is they don't like that this movie does not say that ice is evil and actually says that ice is necessary they don't like that and so therefore they were they were perfectly happy with governmental means being used to shut down production it's pretty
Speaker 5insane yeah it was wild they kept saying over and over again last night in the media that they were not going to do it they were not going to do it to protect their selves from real liability, that the content of the movie was never at stake. And that is such a lie. But we let them do their kayfabe and their, you know, charade and all that kind of stuff. And look, like, they're in a tough position. Like, they were going to get sued in federal court this morning by our lawyers if they didn't reinstate this permit. So look, you know, they did the right thing. They figured it out. It was a long process. But they went all the way to the line on the First Amendment, and they almost got torched. And you know what? We were going to finish the movie either way. We're really good at this. But they did the right thing, ultimately, partially out of, you know, pressure from all of us. But yeah, it was pretty scary to be in a red state in Montana and understand that even there, your civil liberties are at jeopardy.
Speaker 1Well, it's Dallas Sonia. He's the head of Bonfire Legend, our production partner in making a bunch of our movies, including this Untitled. movie that we've not yet revealed all the details about, even though the media would love for us to do so. Dallas, keep on going. And obviously, we're not going to stop anytime soon. Yeah, thanks for having me, man. As you can tell, I'm on the set right now. If that gives you any indication what this movie is about, fight for America. Folks, get ready. Exactly. All right. See you later. Meanwhile, in other news across the planet, apparently the Russians are now unleashing plague on people. According to the Moscow Times, health authorities are saying that in Siberia's Irkutsk region, which you know from the game Risk, have placed nearly 200 people under medical observation after a laboratory worker died from plague. This doesn't sound great. The woman was identified as one Dariush, didn't give her last name, a 27 or 28-year-old employee of the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute by the exiled news outlet Liudy Baikala and a pro-Kremlin broadcaster, REN-TV. She reportedly told medical staff she had accidentally broken a test tube containing live bacteria while collecting samples for testing. She was hospitalized to with symptoms of severe pneumonia in Shelikhov, a town near the regional capital of Irkutsk, and she was put on a ventilator and then she died on Thursday. It was a young woman who died. Media reports have described the suspected infection as pneumonic plague. That is not the same as bubonic plague. It's not the same as the black plague. Nonetheless, according to Kevin Esfeld, who's an MIT biologist, Russia's five hospital quarantine, because they quarantined some five hospitals, the involvement of the FSB and the hazmat suit used after the death of a single researcher, is inconsistent with typical plague infection. Because typical plague infection, we could kill it off with antibiotics. So they're obviously researching something that is antibiotic resistant. Again, this could mean that the responsible pathogen is a pandemic weapon or otherwise embarrassing for the government. Here's Secretary of State Rubio talking about it.
Speaker 6Okay, we are keeping an eye on it. It is worthwhile noting at this point.
Speaker 1I saw somebody online yesterday saying, well, can't we all just agree not to develop, you know, bioweapons? They can kill millions of people. No, we cannot all agree to this. I mean, we in the United States can agree to it. We can agree to not do that. But you know who has agreed already to this and then continues to do it would be Russia. Russia is a signatory to the Biological Weapons Convention, the BWC. That is the principal international treaty that prohibits biological weapons development. And it does bar signatories from developing, producing, stockpiling, acquiring or retaining biological agents or toxins of types and in quantities that have no justification for prophylactic or protective or peaceful purposes. This isn't even like gain of function research so you can figure out how to stop it. Hey, this is just people putting together biological weapons pretty obviously, and they just violate it. What does this say about international law? It says, as per our usual arrangement, international law is a bunch of crap. International law does not exist. Without an enforcement mechanism, it doesn't matter what enemy states like China or Russia or Iran sign. This has been perfectly obvious for literally all of time. Enforcement mechanism for international law, by the way, at the end of the day, is usually the power of the mailed fist. That is usually the enforcement mechanism. If you don't enforce your treaties, what you end up with is people just violating it willy-nilly. And again, we did this routine already. China unleashed a global pandemic that killed legitimately millions of people in 2019 to zero consequence, despite the fact that they weren't supposed to be developing that kind of stuff, let alone releasing it, let alone hiding it, let alone using the WHO as a cover for it. It turns out our enemies are our enemies are our enemies. By the way, speaking of enemies, insane story out of Germany. Apparently, German police on Tuesday detained the country's former head of its foreign intelligence service on suspicion of espionage and attempted treason in one of the bigger scandals to engulf the spy agency since its creation in the mid-50s. A person named August Hanning, who led the Federal Intelligence Service, or BND, from 1998 all the way to 2005, was arrested under suspicion of illegally obtaining classified information for years, and at least in one case, passing it on to a foreign intelligence agent. One of Hanning's former bureau chiefs allegedly passed on, classified information to Hanning for more than a decade in his function as bureau chief. He passed almost 2,000 documents to Hanning up to June 2022, like well beyond when Hanning was actually there. It has not been fully reported, but it appears that he was passing this information onto the Russians. So if you ever wonder why Russia seems to have a shockingly dominant position in Europe over France, over Germany, this would just be one reason. Okay, closer to home, the asinine continuation of this Cornell, seven story, it's just not going to end. It's just not going to end. Again, there are some new details that are coming out here, but there's nothing to suggest that Jane Doe, in this particular case, did not act within the boundaries of consent in this case, that she was raped or gang raped. The evidence does not suggest that. We now have audio of one of the Cornell seven, one of the supposed Cornell seven, a guy named Matthew Ingalls, who tried to rape Jane Doe. And what happened in a phone call? This phone call was after Jane Doe was disinvited from their Halloween party, at which point she felt embarrassed. And that's when she started claiming that the sex was non-consensual. Again, at the beginning, she literally wrote this guy that nothing that happened was illegal. The man in this call sent the text in the Snapchat that told the guys to come whip it out during the evening. He was also one of the guys who was expelled. Here he was. Here's some audio
Speaker 7from the time. You come in, say hi. We start dancing. For like maybe three to five minutes. And then I pop the question. You say yes. Then I remember like we didn't know who else to bring. So I go up to who was on the dance floor too. And I pop the question and he's like, yeah. And then we go upstairs.
Speaker 1So again, this is a contemporaneous audio. Here is audio between another member of the so-called Cornell seven and Jane Doe. Hey, what's up?
Speaker 8Jane Doe tells sophomore
Speaker 9Winston Lee she's trying to piece everything together. I was like deeply, deeply intoxicated. At some point I said yes to ketamine.
Speaker 10I'm so sorry about all like the backlash you're getting from this. I feel so bad for you, dude. I actually read afterwards. They told me not to message you because they thought you were going through a lot. So I constructed this like letter to send to you.
Speaker 9But Jane Doe, this is him. I was completely and totally intoxicated and then given multiple sedatives. And then I was surrounded by upwards of eight to ten men. This is classified as a gang rape. That's when Lee's tone appears to change.
Speaker 10Why was it? Can I ask like what's what's the purpose for why you decided to call Jane
Speaker 9Doe tells him I was blacked out for half of it. How did all these people get in there? Lee doesn't mention he was enthusiastic on this Snapchat thread where more than 50 fraternity brothers were invited to the room. There was a lot of people.
Speaker 10There was nothing saying that like anything was happening
Speaker 1in that room or anything. How's he supposed to respond? Really, seriously. So let's say that there's a girl at a party. Again, everyone engaged in disgusting behavior, right? I've said this a thousand times. I'll continue to say it because I have the moral language to say something is disgusting without it being illegal. So in this particular case, let's say that you're the guy and you engage in consensual sex with this girl who is high on ketamine and high on and drunk and all the rest. But she's consensual, right? Like enthusiastically consensual. And then you call her to say, I'm sorry that people are coming after you. And she hits you with, oh, by the way, you raped me. What do you expect him to say on the phone call? What prison? Like the reason he's defending himself is because, again, the evidence suggested that she was not raped and that she was retconning the incident after she got publicly embarrassed by all of this. Well, now two of the men, one Julia Lopez, one Winston Lee, alleged that Jane Doe assaulted them. These two men were given two to three year suspensions and disciplinary probations from Cornell. When asked about his involvement with Jane. According to the New York Times, Mr. Lopez said she initiated their sexual contact and did not ask for his consent. A statement flatly at odds with her account of the night. Mr. Lopez left at around 2 a.m., he said, after he said he became uncomfortable and went with three friends to McDonald's. He said he did not tell them about what had happened, in part because he was admittedly a bit embarrassed about what had happened, according to the interview records. Mr. Lee said Jane Doe initiated sexual activity without asking. He said he snorted a line of ketamine off her body and she tried to initiate sex. I took a step back because I didn't want to engage in anything like sex. Mr. Lee said. I thought. It wasn't the time for that. But later that night, Mr. Lee said he asked for Jane Doe's consent before engaging in a threesome with her. He recalled telling Jane Doe that, quote, if you're uncomfortable with any of this or you don't want to do this, that's perfectly fine. We can call it a night. He said Jane Doe replied. We're all consenting adults here. Now, again. According to her original police report over the course of the evening, multiple times she said she didn't want to do things like. Shall we say less traditional forms of sex and they respected her denials. She. She also took steps to take care of the men during the encounter, noting that they were drunk and they were high at the time as well. She texted one of the men, quote, none of the sexual stuff was illegal, literally the day after and asked to hang out with him. And then she said she wants to go to another Kaipai fraternity party. Only later did she start saying that she was 100 percent confident she was raped, and then she started calling the men and recording the calls to try and create a narrative. Pretty ridiculous. Now, again, the men are claiming that she assaulted them because after all, if they were high and she was high and she didn't ask for their permission, then, you know. I suppose that we should believe all men. What are we supposed to do with situations like this? So naturally, the facts are being outstripped by the narrative. That's all that matters to people. So Cornell students are now protesting for justice and to ban the frats. Again, I'm not a huge fan of frats as a general rule, but I'm not even a fan. I'm not a fan of co-ed college living arrangements like you shared dormitories. I think it's a mistake. But here are Cornell students protesting for justice. Apparently, justice now means that you have to retcon the situation, the facts and the law. A lot of masks in this crowd. And big crowd showing up. Listen, you got to show your allegiance to left wing causes. It's the only way. Students, meanwhile, vandalized one of the dormitories. Called Day Hall. Quote, at Cornell, rapists are protected. Protesters are expelled. I like that they had to insert another L in Cornell because they'd originally misspelled the school. They're not sending their best over at Cornell. Meanwhile, one dormitory hung a banner saying, protect students, not rapists. Administration resign. Why are we supposed to just ignore the fact pattern here? Is there a reason? I mean, I know the reason, obviously. But we're now actively attempting to change the law in New York to make it so that if you have a drink and then you consent to sex, you can later, not even in the moment, you can later say that you were raped. It's totally insane. Chris Rock is out there speaking some truth on this sort of stuff. He says, guys, the woke era, it's like the Salem witch trials. This is insane.
Speaker 11Again, it's great to help those that need help. That is an amazing, you know, we need more of that. The problem is, is when you institutionalize it. You know, that's the problem, you know, so my half a joke, the Salem witch hunts. I'm sure, you know, the first three witches they caught were actually fucking witches. But then you open up a witch office and now you got to start lying.
Speaker 1Again, he is not wrong about that. He is certainly not wrong about that. The left is never going to stop. I mean, they're truly insane when it comes to matters of sexual relations between consenting parties. And when it comes to, you know, the rewriting of the law and social relations between men and women, they're totally broken. In fact, I think the greatest case of broken brain of the day goes to this columnist for The Guardian who wrote a piece titled Margot Robbie changing her name to her husband's hurts my beautiful lesbian brain. Here's why. Beautiful lesbian brain. My tolerance was tested when it was. It was revealed that after a decade of marriage, Margot Robbie has changed her surname to that of her husband, Tom Ackerley. I'm not an unreasonable lesbian. My issue isn't with women taking their man's surname. The problem comes when there is no choosing, when it's a foregone conclusion, when it hasn't been actively decided. That's your name. It's true. Ladies, you must fight to retain your father's name. It is deeply important. Nothing fights the patriarchy like making sure that you absolutely 100% keep your dad's name. Because that's his name you're keeping. Fight the patriarchy by, you know, like your dad, like patriarch, like father. Great job, everyone. You're doing awesome. OK. Meanwhile, the left in this country continues to be totally insane. So the radical left Islamist alliance continues to gain steam. Democrats are making open alliance with the Abdul El-Sayed campaign. And with support. Reporters of Abdul El-Sayed. And Abdul El-Sayed does really, really well in Dearborn, Michigan, right? And there's a reason why Abdul El-Sayed, the Senate candidate from Michigan for Democrats. There's a reason why he has refused to say that it's good that Ayatollah Khomeini is dead. Because, again, he doesn't believe it's good that Ayatollah Khomeini is dead. The soil from which he springs is soil like this Dearborn Mosque, where one leader held a memorial for Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah last week.
Speaker 8Hassan Nasrallah is our leader and the person we look up to because he was the one who stood up for the oppressed. He was the one that spoke up against the tyrants. And he was the one that made sure that every child, every person in the world had someone that stood up for them.
Speaker 1Hassan Nasrallah is a mass murderer or was a mass murderer before he was blown to pieces by the IDF. He's responsible for the death of 19 U.S. Air Force personnel in the 1996 Khobar Towers bombings in Saudi Arabia. And, of course, he sent terrorists to Iraq in 2003 who killed hundreds of American troops. But that's the kind of person who's a hero to some in Dearborn, Michigan. The chief base of support for Abdul El-Sayed. Well, now Barack Obama is joining the campaign. So, first of all, we should say Barack Obama having to campaign in Michigan is actually not a great sign for the Democrats. It is not. That is a Democratic seat. It came open. And now there's an election held between Mike Rogers and Abdul. El-Sayed in Michigan. If Obama were really confident in Michigan, he would be over in Texas. He would be over in Iowa. He would be aiming for more of the red states. Michigan is a very purpley state. And theoretically, the Democrats should be well ahead. I mean, that's what we keep hearing. And yet Obama is now going to join Abdul El-Sayed. Now, no one should feel shocked about this. Of course he is. Because Barack Obama agrees in large measure with Abdul El-Sayed. The attempt to retcon Barack Obama into some sort of moderate is totally insane. It's totally. It's totally crazy. In fact, if you read Abdul El-Sayed's comments on 9-11, which are crazy. Barack Obama said the exact same thing on 9-11 when he was a state senator back in Chicago. Here's what he said. Quote. We must engage in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers. An inability to imagine or connect with the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy. Such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent. This is not innate. Nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness, and despair. Again, the people who blew up the World Trade Centers, they were just suffering from poverty and ignorance and helplessness and despair. Really, it's America's fault when you come right back down to it. And, of course, Abdul El-Sayed has said something similar on 9-11 back in 2021. Today, I'm more. More than 3,000 lives, 6,000 injuries, and infrastructural devastation in New York City, perpetrated ignorantly in the name of my faith. Tomorrow, I'm more than a million lives, millions of injuries, and infrastructural devastation in three countries, perpetrated ignorantly in the name of my country. By the way, is it clear that it is his country? He is a dual citizen, by the way, with Egypt. Egypt is not known to be particularly pro-America, we should point out at this point. The Washington Free Beacon points out that Abdul El-Sayed literally registered for college as a dual citizen. He's now claiming. That's not true. His campaign is now saying that he was mistaken about his citizenship status, but here he was some years ago. openly saying he's a dual citizen with Egypt.
Speaker 12First is that I carry a dual citizenship, right? And I grew up spending most of my summers in another country where I understood what it meant not to have the right to self-government, right?
Speaker 1Okay, so there he was saying it himself, but apparently now he's claiming not. By the way, al-Sayed refuses over and over and over to label the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. You're electing a terrorist, Michigan, listen to me. You're on the verge of electing a full-scale terrorist supporter to the United States Senate. What the fuck are you doing? What are you doing? Why would you possibly do that? Do you have any lines at all? There's no limit beyond which you will not go? Truly, just because you hate Trump that much? Mike Rogers is as generic a Republican as exists on planet Earth. Abdul al-Sayed legitimately cannot find a terrorist group that he will not quasi, endorse, or excuse. Here he was on Fox News, three times refusing to label the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization.
Speaker 13But we have, the United States has terror designations on Muslim Brotherhood organizations in Lebanon, Egypt, and Jordan. So if you become a U.S. senator, will you support those terrorist designations of those groups in order to support U.S. national security?
Speaker 14I think terrorism is the act of political violence. So I will support a terror designation, or any organization that is engaged in or committed to political violence.
Speaker 13Do you support the designations of the Muslim Brotherhood in those countries?
Speaker 14I want to understand. Show me that they're engaged. Any organization is engaged in political violence, I will back a terrorist designation. So on October 7th, the Egyptian chapter
Speaker 13of the Muslim Brotherhood called for violent attacks against the United States, its partners and interests. The Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood supported Hamas.
Speaker 14So I understand what you're talking about.
Speaker 13And they threatened Americans living in the region and our partners. So do you stand by those designations?
Speaker 14As I said, any organization, any organization engaged in political violence or calling for political violence is engaged in terrorism. And I would support those designations.
Speaker 1Okay, but he won't say it. Because again, this is always the thing. He does this, Mamdani does this. I will just broad scale condemn bad things. I will never condemn this bad thing. And if the American government or the Israeli government falls under my broad rubric, well, I'll condemn them too. It's all about the moral equivalence. That's the entire shtick here from Abdul El-Sayed. And you want to elect this person in the Senate. Again, I do not, I don't believe the polls that say that El-Sayed is well ahead of Rogers. I just don't. I don't think that the people in Michigan are this dumb. Maybe El-Sayed will win. But if he does, it's going to be incredibly, incredibly tight. By the way, he continues over and over and over to pretend that he doesn't know Hassan Piker after openly campaigning with him. And he still won't say a bad word about Hassan Piker, who says he hates the country. That is who you guys are going to elect to the Senate, folks.
Speaker 14Look, this campaign was never about a streamer in California. This campaign was always about the price of gas and groceries, whether or not you're going to vote for him. Whether or not you could see a doctor when you get sick in the United States. I know every time I have a conversation here that he's going to come up. And the question is not about a relationship I got with a streamer in California. There's not a relationship. The reason I have a conversation with him is the same reason I have a conversation with you. Because I want to talk to the folks out here who I want to have a conversation with.
Speaker 1Oh, is that the reason? So basically his relationship with Martha McCallum on Fox News is the same as that with his. Because, you know, he asked Martha McCallum to campaign with him. Like, join him on campaign stops. Exactly the same thing. Here is Hasan Piker talking about Abdul El-Sayed asking him to stump for him.
Speaker 15That's the whole point. That's the reason why Abdul asked me to go. The reason why, when Abdul asked for me to come on this journey with him, I said yes, absolutely. So when Abdul asked me to stump for him, I was like, sure, let's do it. From the frying pan into the fire moment for me was when Abdul asked me to do a stump. Abdul asked me to stump for him. Yeah, that definitely happened after the. Abdul El-Sayed campaign. He asked me to stump for him.
Speaker 1Again, none of this is a shock. By the way, there's a story from The Federalist that Abdul El-Sayed's sister-in-law, like everyone around him is associated with terror groups. Abdul El-Sayed's sister-in-law actually appeared on the terrorist screening database according to court filings from 2016. Not a shock at all. The lawsuits say that this person, Miriam Jakaku, lived in California in 2016. In 2016, she led the Muslim Student Association at UCLA. This is in 2004, which is when I was there as well, like my tail end of my UCLA time. With the Bruin stating that Jakaku was editor of the publication Al-Talib. I know that publication really, really well because I was at UCLA at the time. Al-Talib was such an extreme publication that the month before 9-11, they literally printed an issue joking about changing the name of the publication to Al-Taliban and making the editor-in-chief Osama bin Laden. I'm not kidding. That happened while I was on the campus. And apparently, his sister-in-law was the editor of the publication. U.S. government shut down several Al-Talib advertisers because of terror ties. And then, she defended the entities, calling the claim ridiculous. Her dad is on the board of directors for CARE Michigan. Again, the Council on American-Islamic Relations began as essentially an associated group with terror groups in the Middle East, including Muslim Brotherhood. Good news, though. Good news. In order to fight anti-Semitism, I'm not even kidding. Remember that Zor-Mamdani anti-Semitism nonsense? He was pushing an anti-Semitism plan. So, he has now designated funds from the anti-Semitism plan for, wait for it, the Arab American Association of New York. If you want to fight anti-Semitism, the best way to do it is to get rid of the Jews. Then, you don't have to worry about anti-Semitism because then the Jews don't exist anymore. Seems to be the theory here. So, they are going to fund Partners Against Hate, an initiative launched in 2021 with six leading advocacy groups. One of them is the Arab American Association of New York, which used to be led by Linda Sarsour and which gave money to CARE New York. CARE, again, is a radically anti-Semitic organization. They always have been. None of this is a shock. They have deep and long-lasting terror associations. Zor-Mamdani and AOC are going to join El Sayed in a fundraiser in New York City on Monday as well. By the way, here is November 2025. Linda Sarsour, the former head of the Arab American Association of New York, bragging about CARE PAC funding Zor-Mamdani.
Speaker 16I'll also say that it's Muslim money. The PACs that have supported Zoran or a particular PAC that has supported Zoran is probably over 80% of Muslim American donors in this country. High-net donors, grassroots donors. And I want to make the point that the Unity and Justice Fund PAC, which is the CARE super PAC, was the largest institutional donor to the pro-Zoran PAC in New York.
Speaker 1Again, the radical Democrat-Islamist axis, the red-green axis, rides high right now. Which is, I assume, why the Philadelphia mayor, Sherelle Parker, is now donning hijab at an Islamic school in Philadelphia. Get used to this. There's going to be a lot more of this to come in future years.
Speaker 17They would always drill that into me. I could be and do anything. And that's how I stand here before you today as the first woman mayor in 341 years here in the city of Philadelphia.
Speaker 1Okay, well, guess what, folks? The West doesn't have to stand for this. We don't. We don't have to stand for this. We don't have to kowtow to people who wish to destroy the civilization. We don't have to kowtow to people in solidarity with terrorism. We really don't. And by the way, it turns out that other civilizations are done kowtowing to the radical left as well. It looks like, Brazil is about to make the solid shift to the right. So according to new election results in the Brazilian election, Flavio Bolsonaro, who's the son of Yair Bolsonaro, you remember, Yair was the president of Brazil. He lost an election under very disputed circumstances. His supporters launched, essentially, an attempt to stop Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who's a radical leftist, from taking office. Da Silva, by the way, had been banned from office for corruption. And then he was unbanned by the Supreme Court. So now his son, Yair, he's been put in jail. His son, Flavio, is running for president of Brazil. And we should point out here that, again, this move to the right that's happening in South America, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, a bunch of countries, it's happening simultaneously. That is a direct rebuttal to left-wing ideas being implemented. According to the Wall Street Journal, the result in major victories by conservatives in concurrent congressional and state elections on Sunday underscored the strength of right-wing sentiment in Brazil that none of the major polls had managed to capture. Brazil's right has gained ground in recent years, fueled by anger over violent street crime, the growing political cloud of evangelical Christians, and frustration among business and middle-class voters over taxes, spending, and the left's stewardship of the economy. Yair Bolsonaro's wife, Michelle, was elected to the Senate. So was another one of his sons, Carlos. His youngest son, Yair Renan, and his brother, Renato, won seats in the lower house of Congress. So now the entire Bolsonaro family is going to be in the legislature. Bolsonaro supporters were celebrating in the streets here, is what it looked like. Wow, that is a large crowd. Pretty amazing. Those are Bolsonaro supporters. Again, they were basically, I have to say, it is insane how the media treated Yair Bolsonaro as though he was a fascist in Brazil. Lula da Silva came into office and proceeded to say, proceeded to fundamentally reshape nearly every institution he could illegally. Illegally. I'm just going to give you a timeline here as to what Lula did over the course of his career. In 2003, 2004, Lula, the current president of Brazil, called for external oversight of the judiciary and then passed new administrative oversight bodies for all public prosecutions. So basically he said, I'm going to run the show now. In 2017, 2018, he was convicted of corruption and money laundering up to $1.2 million. He served 580 days in prison as part of a larger corruption investigation involving $2.5 billion in embezzlement across hundreds of politicians and executives. In 2021, Brazil's Supreme Court annulled his conviction on procedural grounds and they claimed the judge showed bias. It's totally a political ruling that reinstated Lula that allowed him then run in 2022. And then he defeated Bolsonaro, right? And the entire media treated this as a win for democracy, a win for democracy. And then Lula took office again and he proceeded to basically change the entire system illegally. Between 2022 and 2024, the Supreme Court dismantled and annulled a majority of convictions and penalties against people associated with Lula. Bolsonaro's supporters challenged the voting system in 2022. That's what led to that storming the Capitol moment, you may remember, from 2023. And then the court stepped in and stopped Bolsonaro from seeking public office until 2030. And then they convicted Bolsonaro and sentenced him to 27 years in prison. So the Supreme Court basically just became a tool of Lula. They suppressed opposition speech. They insulated Lula from criticism. Well, now the blowback is here. The blowback is here. And it's happening again across countries. Now, there's been some speculation that some of this is happening because of the end of USAID. That the Trump administration killing USAID has put a cramp in the plans of non-governmental left-wing organizations to impact elections. There is some evidence for that. I won't say there's total evidence for that. USAID was spending up to $444 million on the U.S. government. It was spending up to $444 million on the U.S. government. in Colombia, $108 million in Peru, $49 million in Ecuador, $42 million for Brazil. It's not clear the USAID was actually causing the turn left, but in marginal elections, it made kind of a big difference. And here, by the way, is a map of countries showing which are right versus left leaning. And you can see the gigantic shift. The red in this particular map is not Republican Democrat. The red is left wing. Look at that enormous shift. Look how the entire map was taken over by blue, in this case, right or center right. And that happened basically since the death of USAID. Again, it doesn't mean USAID was in control of all these elections. It is part of a broader revolt against crappy left-wing governance. Speaking of crappy left-wing governance, by the way, who's actually going to win the Brazil presidential election? Again, Bolsonaro won 47% of the vote to Silva's 45% of the vote. Calchi, one of our sponsors, now suggests that Bolsonaro is likely to win the presidential election outright. 86% say Bolsonaro. Lula stuck at just 16%. That is a gigantic flip. Because again, all the polls were just wrong here. Again, this is not the only country where you are seeing left-wing governance crash and burn. In Spain, the Spanish prime minister, the awful Pedro Sanchez, he's the person who has been open borders, pro-Palestine, in favor of great taxation, opposed to President Trump, all the rest. Well, he just called snap. Elections. He had to call snap elections because he wanted to ram through another one of his socialistic housing programs, and he didn't have support in the legislature. So he called a snap election. He dissolved his parliamentary majority, and then he decided that he was going to call a snap election. By the way, he is very likely to lose that snap election. He might be able to pull off some sort of minority coalition, but that is quite uncertain. He's been unbelievably crappy at his job. The People's Power Party and the Vox Party are likely to be the new governing powers in Spain if the people of Spain have their wits about them. Here's Pedro Sanchez. He says that the truth is we must do more to renew and expand the people's
Speaker 18support to deeply
Speaker 1tackle
Speaker 18the pending reforms we need so that citizens can achieve a reduction in these levels. We must mobilize and ensure that Parliament gives us a much larger progressive majority. Now, they may
Speaker 1not get it. They may not get it. Again, Spain has been horribly governed, and there's a very good shot that the opposition conservative parties end up in power in Spain, which would be quite the feat, for sure. Turns out left-wing governance, pretty crappy all across the board. In just a second, we'll get to more on the foreign front, including updates on Iran and updates from the UK. But I repeat myself, the show continues, but only if you're a Daily Wire member. Speaker 4This is our generation's civil rights.
Speaker 10I have no idea what the protest is about. Bingo. Given the current climate, should a figure as polarizing as Clay Saunders even be allowed on campus? Can you hear me okay? Saunders is a close personal friend of Chancellor Friedman. This is a decision I cannot fight. Islam will conquer the West.
Speaker 8As-salamu
Speaker 2alaykum. Are we paying attention? They've taken over the building. They're downstairs and they've blocked the doors. I seek forgiveness. From Allah the Almighty. We cannot run and hide. Mohammed is the messenger of God. There is no God but Allah.
Speaker 18What do you say we turn those SOBs into a fine red mist? As we move, one man will cover while the other guys go. They call that leapfrogging. Stretch your arms and listen. You need a course in safe weapons handling.
Speaker 1Listen up. There are enough people listening to this show right now that if they don't vote, it could swing key states in the 2026 election to the Democrats. And everyone listening knows, every single ultra-far-left Democratic Socialist will be showing up to vote this fall. Democrats are fired up. We can't let them win. Because if we lose, they will undo everything our movement has fought for. I need you to vote early so you can bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout machine. If you live in the critical Senate battleground states of Maine or Ohio, early voting is already possible. Voting will be underway starting this week. Paid for by SLF PAC. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
