Ep. 2517 - The Hijacking Story Just Got More Insane. Here's The Latest.

The episode centers on the foiled hijacking of a Fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, where an Omani co-pilot stabbed the pilot and attempted to crash the plane. Israeli passengers, including plumber Yaniv Hayun who had watched air disaster shows, rushed the cockpit, subdued the attacker, and stabilized the aircraft. The pilot opened the cockpit door before collapsing, enabling the rescue. A dentist on board treated the wounded pilot. The host frames this as an extraordinary act of heroism and contrasts Israel's willingness to fight terrorism with what he calls Western surrender, citing Spain after the 2004 Madrid bombings and the UK's response to a recent attempted attack on RAF Fairford, where suspects were released on bail. He criticizes Saudi Arabia for taking custody of the hijacker and delaying the return of Israeli passengers. The IRGC's open letter urging Americans to vote for Democrats is cited as proof that Iran wants a Democratic victory, and Tucker Carlson is accused of promoting the Iranian perspective. The host praises the Trump administration for reducing immigration from Muslim-majority countries by 96%, deporting a Milwaukee mosque leader with terror convictions, and pursuing AI and military modernization, while warning that the left would crater the economy and surrender to America's enemies.

Speaker 1I jumped back in there, pulled the controls, started pulling the controls. Netanyahu says, you pulled the controls. He said, I pulled them backward. I watched plane crash investigation shows. It's unbelievable. Unbelievable. An attempted terrorist hijacking foiled at the last minute by the Indian pilot, a group of heroic Israeli passengers like this man, and a backup crew. Everybody aboard. Should be dead right now. But there's another question. Why did this happen? Why did it happen just days after an attempted Iranian back attack on an Air Force base in Great Britain? What is going on? What do the enemies of the West actually want? So let's start with this. There are two ways to respond to Islamic terrorism. Either rush the cockpit and level the plane, or release the terrorists on bail. Both of those things have happened in the last year. And both have knock-on effects that will be extraordinary. The question is, what should Americans learn from all of the attempted terror of the past few days? Well, there are basically a couple of models. One is Israel's response after 10-7, which is you go in and you kill every terrorist you can find, and you secure your future. And the second is Spain's response after the attacks of March 2004, when Al-Qaeda bombed commuter trains in Madrid. They killed like 190 people. And then, the Socialist Party won in Spain, and they immediately withdrew from helping the United States in the Iraq War. And those are the two models. Either in response to terrorism, you stand tall, you grow a spine, you do what's necessary to preserve yourself and your civilization, or you surrender in the face of terrorism. And obviously, the last, the surrender in the face of terrorism, that is what the Islamic world is seeking. The radical Islamic world. And that's what Israelis didn't give them aboard the fly Dubai flight. So again, we've all been watching with, I think, bated breath, all the developments around this attempted hijacking of this fly Dubai flight. It's an unbelievable story. One passenger described to CBS News exactly what happened.
Speaker 3Two hours in, and all of a sudden, what we thought was turbulence started. And, you know, we were holding onto the chair, and then it became even stronger turbulence, and even stronger and stronger and stronger. Then we realized it's not something regular, worse than a free fall. I would say much worse than a free fall, and started turning all sideways and going up and down in all different kinds of directions. It was just the scariest thing possible. And people were shouting and people were starting to cry and starting to shout and starting to say, I love you to the children. And then shouting started from the front of the plane. All we heard in the back was shouting and they asked us to sit down. And we saw that some people were dealing with stuff. I was just holding, and my family, we were sitting all in one row and just holding each other's hands, telling our children that we love them and just hoping for the best, honestly.
Speaker 1So, again, just an extraordinary, extraordinary story. Some 10 Israelis apparently ran to the front of the plane. For those who missed how the story unfolded, essentially, there was a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. And the co-pilot was of Omani extraction. Now, that is illegal. You're not allowed to fly into Tel Aviv, unless the country from which you hail has some sort of diplomatic agreement with Israel. Oman does not. And so it's still under investigation how this pilot ended up on this plane. He apparently stabbed either with a knife or with an ax. There are a couple of different reports that have come out. The actual pilot of the plane, a man named Smit Machar. Now, that pilot actually did a podcast last year talking about how to land a plane and what it means to him to land a plane. Here's what he had to say. Smooth landing. Or on-time arrival. Bigger high. None. None? Safe. Good. You don't have to think about on-time. As a pilot, I don't have to think about it. They've hired other people to take care of that. No, but how about smooth landing? A positive, firm landing. Sorry, a positive landing. Safe landing where I'm supposed to land. If it turns out smooth, perfect. Again, safety first. This guy. Is the first hero of the story. He's being stabbed to death by his co-pilot. And he somehow manages to get to the door, to the cockpit, and pry it open, get it open enough that he can notify people outside that something is happening. That's what the screaming at the front of the cabin was. A bunch of Israelis then rushed to the front of the cabin and ripped this co-pilot, who apparently was inside the cockpit, trying to destroy all the equipment in the cockpit so that he could fly it into the ground. Again, there are sort of conflicting reports as to whether, whether he wanted to fly it into the ground or whether his attempt was to fly it into Israeli airspace and maybe crash it into an Israeli target in a 9-11-style attack. Details are still emerging on that, and obviously we'll bring you all the updates as they do. Anyway, the passengers ran inside, and they ripped him from the seat. The man that you heard at the top of the show is a man named Yaniv Hayun. And Yaniv Hayun, here he was, in the galley on the plane, guarding the pilot. He says, they attacked us, and now we are guarding the pilot. They attacked us on this plane. We've taken control of the situation. That's another one of the passengers. Again, if you missed it, it's an unbelievable story. Yaniv Hayun, who is a plumber, who watches a show that is called Air Disasters, knew enough to pull the plane out of the doom loop, to pull it out of the freefall, and stabilize it enough so that a secondary crew that was aboard was capable of flattening out the plane. And President Trump described what happened.
Speaker 4And he ripped, with the G-forces as they were, he ripped this guy out of the seat, threw him back, the crowd got him, the passengers got him, grabbed him. And having never flown a plane, he took the stick, lifted it up, and leveled out the plane before it crashed. Never flew a plane, strong guy, lift him up, throw him back. The crowd was, I mean, they knew they were going to die, shortly, because of the G-forces, but they were able to hold him, because he was going crazy. And he was crazy. And this plumber, never having flown a plane, had the sense to lift a stick.
Speaker 1Meanwhile, a medical professional on the plane, a dentist, whose name was Shota Musaev, he was stabilizing the pilot. So the pilot's still in critical condition. This dentist stabilized the pilot and made sure that he didn't bleed to death on the flight. Enormous number of heroes jumping into action. And you have to say, Israelis are. are built different. They are. If you were going to name a population on a plane that was likely to have men who would jump into action because they had prior military experience, Israeli plane, pretty much all the men on the plane have prior military experience and have been in crisis situations before. The chances that there'd be a medical professional on an Israeli plane, quite high, right? So if you were going to pick a population that was going to be active against terror, the Israeli population is it. Obviously, Israel has a long history of having to fight hijacked planes going back to the 1960s and 70s. It can be fairly said the only invention of Palestinians is plane hijacking. In any case, the plane landed. The people were cheering aboard the plane as it landed. Here's what that sounded like. Amit Sehgal of Channel 12 has been a guest on the program. He put together a short list of miracles. Amit Sehgal says the plane was put into tailspin. Part of the rudder ripped off because it was experiencing speeds that the plane was not built to experience, as President Trump actually put out on Truth Social. This Boeing stood up to significant pressure it was not made to stand up to. But Amit Sehgal says the pilot opened the cockpit door moments before collapsing. The heroes, Yaniv Asaf and Zvika, happened to be at the front of the plane. British pilots happened to be on the flight. Yaniv had watched the air crash investigation. docuseries and push the controls forward without every single one of them. Tonight, we'd be searching for wreckage in the deserts of Saudi Arabia, and even that only if the prince allowed it. So what do we know about the terrorist pilot? Well, according to Yosef Yisrael reporting for Channel 16, he says, we aired a very interesting character witness account from a pilot at Fly Dubai who knows the Omani co-pilot who tried to crash the plane. He recounts, among other things, that this is a new pilot at the company about eight months in. He was characterized by relatively strange behavior and mainly by religious devotion that is atypical for the work environment. He would pray multiple times throughout the day and would not shake hands with women and more. In addition, he leveled harsh criticism at the conduct of Fly Dubai where he works and claims that the protocol states that flights to Israel are operated only by Emirati pilots or, say, Indian-like the captain. The fact that the co-pilot was Omani is negligence that nearly cost the lives of 180 passengers. This source says there's no other way to put it. We hired a terrorist. Again, there will be an investigation into what happened here. Part of the problem is that because the plane landed in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia took control of the actual terrorist and will be interrogating him. And suffice to say, I don't think that Saudi Arabia can be trusted to tell the truth about what exactly this person is saying. They have a wide variety of interests around the region, some in coincidence with those of the West and some very much not in coincidence with those of the West. Remember, they are an allied country with the United States, but they are also in a defense pact with Pakistan at this point and playing footsie with the Iranians in an attempt to get the Iranians to call off the Houthis. According to the Jerusalem Post, after around six hours in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, a second flight to buy aircraft with a new staff specially approved by Mossad came through Saudi Arabia and flew the Israeli passengers back to Israel. Why exactly was there a delay? Well, it turns out the Saudis refused any air force from Israel or commercial aircraft landing in Israel just to get these people home, which I'm sorry is pretty vile in the idea that you can't fly an LL plane into Saudi Arabia to pick up people who almost died in a hijacking because this would somehow offend the Saudi population. Just pretty disgusting. And the Saudis said Israel needs to understand normalization cannot be forced. I didn't realize that allowing a plane to land to take home its civilians were almost killed on hijacking amounts into normalization. So the assumption is that this person was a lone wolf. Multiple sources have told the Jerusalem Post, Mossad, Shin Bet, IDF and the transportation ministry believe the hijacker was a lone wolf, not under orders from Iran or another terror group. But again, there is a disconnect in the investigation. Because the Saudis are leading the investigation of the hijacker, which again is an absurdity. This person should be shipped back to UAE or should be shipped to Israel so that this person can be pumped for information. So the cooperation between Israel and the UAE, who are part of an alliance in the Abraham Accords, brokered by President Trump, there the information sharing will be very good. But bottom line is this. What we watch here is an extraordinary act of human heroism. And I got to say, God touched this flight because there are a thousand ways that this could have ended in not only tragedy, but international crisis. Because let's say that Saudi and Jordan had denied airspace, which again, there are some early reports that that's actually what happened. And the plane had crashed. Massive international incident. Or imagine the plane goes down. And all you know is that the Omani co-pilot, who is a radical Islamist terrorist, brings it down. Does that force Israel into action again against Iran? Right. What was a verted here is truly extraordinary. And the heroes and the people involved can't be overstated. As always and forever, when it comes to Islamic terrorism, you can either fight or you can surrender. Those are the two choices. We'll get to more on that in just a second. So first of all, the UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband issued a statement in the wake of the attempted hijacking quote. We are very concerned about the incident and appreciate the plane landed safe safely thanks to the actions of those on board. Our thoughts are with those injured in the incident with all the passengers of the plane and with their families. Oh, it was an incident, was it? You can't even say terrorist attack. It was an incident or you can't say hijacking. It was an incident, you know, like a mechanical failure of some sort that involved a co-pilot stabbing a pilot almost to death and then trying to slam the plane into the desert. It was an incident. Of course, this is not surprising from the same UK Foreign Secretary who says top priority is shipping Palestinian refugees into the UK. Well, ripping on the Israelis for pursuing their own self-defense. The UK head of counterterrorism, by the way, we have updates on the men who were released on bail. Remember that there was an attempted attack on an RAF base, a Royal Air Force base where a bunch of American assets are located. And that terrorist attempt was pretty obviously linked to Iran. As we will see, the UK is now acknowledging this openly. Here is the UK head of counterterrorism announcing that five of the men involved were released on bail.
Speaker 5I can confirm, that following extensive interviews and inquiries, the five men who were arrested are being released on police bail this afternoon.
Speaker 1And then it turns out that the UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham says that it's very likely that Iran was involved.
Speaker 6There are strong indications that Iran played a part in what happened over the weekend at RAF Fairford. But of course, it remains an ongoing complex and serious police. Investigation. And of course, we are working closely with our colleagues in the United States of America. So it's ongoing. I have held a COBRA meeting as I've been here at the conference in Liverpool. We are on top of it in every possible way imaginable. The police in Gloucestershire, our counterterrorism police have done an outstanding job. I thank them for that. We will say more in due course, but we can confirm our belief that we, uh, believe Iran to have played a part.
Speaker 1Okay. Well, the good news for Iran is there will never be any consequences because the UK has already decided to surrender to all of this. The Iranian foreign minister, Abbas Arahi, put out a tweet saying, you're barking up the wrong tree. You've got us all wrong. He says, I can confirm Iran's belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all. You're barking up the wrong tree. So he's using the fact that they put these people out on bail as an excuse to say that Iran had no involvement. Again, what does Iran want? Iran wants the same thing that it has always wanted defeat of the West. And it believes that by pursuing terrorism and by getting governments elected like the labor government in great Britain, they will succeed. Now, what is amazing to watch right now is the split in the West over whether to actually fight radical Islamist enemies or just surrender to them. The Trump administration, again, the Trump administration has done something different than any administration of my lifetime. They've actually stood up to the Iranian terror regime. And I think there's a high likelihood that before president Trump leaves office, there is a different regime in Tehran. Here is a secretary of state, Marco Rubio, pointing out on Sean Hannity's show that Iran's entire goal has been to build up weapons of mass destruction and fund terrorism.
Speaker 7This is not simply about imposing economic costs on this regime. Every dollar that Iran has, what they have done over the last 30 years is anytime they get money, be it under Obama sanction relief, be it under economic selling of oil and gas or whatever, they don't use that money to build hospitals. They don't use that money to build roads. They don't use that money to improve the life of the Iranian people. They use that money to do two things, and export the revolution. They use the money to fund Hezbollah. They use the money to fund Hamas. They use the money to fund Shia militias in Iraq. That's what they use. They use the money to sponsor terrorism and assassination plots all over the world. And so every penny that they get into their hands is money that they use for purposes of these malign activities.
Speaker 1Okay, of course, he's totally right about that. The UK responds to that by saying, but why, why would you ever try to do anything about that? By the way, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz has largely been accomplished. There are charts demonstrating that oil exports are nearly back to pre-war levels, even as Khargah exports, meaning exports from Iran, are zero. For the total Middle East, this is the number of barrels of oil shipped out per day. In January, 2026, it was 18,121,000 barrels of oil per day. Then it dropped to 7.6, 6 million barrels of oil in March. It was back up to 14.5 in June. And right now it's about 17,000. So almost back to where it was before the war started. And that is because, again, there's been additional transit via the Red Sea, where a lot of oil has been directed away from the Strait of Hormuz and across that East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia. And second of all, because the Khargah exports have dropped pretty radically. So what does that mean? It means that Iran is being strangled economically, which is, of course, why, Iran is now seeking desperately to get Democrats elected. This is the amazing thing, is that the Iranians are saying everything out loud. They want the West to surrender, and they know the party most likely to grant them the surrender is, in fact, the Democratic Party. So the IRGC put out an open letter to Americans calling on U.S. civilians to, quote, rest control back from corrupt politicians. Quote, although American politicians often win your votes through deception and false promises, as Trump did, you can change the makeup of the government if you apply the criteria for good leadership in choosing the people you vote for. You can vote into office to allow vulgar and immoral individuals to continue steering your politics and policies will only further humiliate and undermine the U.S. Americans need to wake up. You're being told by the IRGC who to vote for. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps that shot 50,000 people in the streets back in January keeps women in a state of peonage and attacks every country in the region. They're telling you who to vote for, and the answer is the Democrats, according to the IRGC. People all around the world, says the IRGC, are looking to Americans to stop their government. Americans need to rise up and put an end to this miserable situation that their country and the world at large is facing. And the letter argues that the U.S. and Iran, they can get along. All the U.S. has to do is close all of its overseas military bases, end all aid to Israel, and avoid all foreign wars. And they say, by the way, when we say death to America, we don't mean, you know, death to America. Just like when we say jihad, we don't mean jihad. We mean self-struggle. But we're doing this routine now. The IRGC says death to America is a prayer. For the eradication of a diabolical ruling elite, whose seat of power is the White House. If Americans could only come on a short trip to Iran, they would immediately realize their officials and their media are lying to them about Iran, says the letter. Well, Americans can't go to Iran because they might be taken prisoner by the regime. And by the way, if you would like to know what actually Iran is like, there are a couple of great books by V.S. Naipaul, who actually, as a journalist, was allowed into Iran during the 80s, and the answer is it is a bleep hole run by Islamist fanatics. And this has been true for about 50 years. And they want the Democrats elected. They are very clear about this because they believe the Democrats will surrender to them. And so when you see additional pursuit of terrorism, and again, the terrorism warnings with regard to Iran right now are very, very high. When you see those terrorism warnings emerge, understand their goal is to basically do to the entire West what Al-Qaeda did to Spain in 2004. Pursue terrorist attacks, up the ante, create more chaos, increase the oil prices, and hope that the West caves. Because the Islamic world is a shame culture, they believe that if you are shamed, if somehow you lose face, that you're going to run away. And in some cases, they're absolutely right. Now, what should the West be doing? Well, the West, obviously, should be standing up. Obviously, that's not happening in some parts of the West, like Great Britain. And then there are people in the United States who would like for the West to lose as well. Which is why Tucker Carlson spent his evening yesterday saying that, we need to understand the Iranian perspective. Quote, Americans rarely hear the Iranian perspective on the Iran war. This is his response, by the way, to the Iranian letter calling to vote for Democrats. So when I say Tucker Carlson wants Democrats to win because he is a demoralization op, he wants Democrats to win. He is literally tweeting out letters from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, a terrorist group that rips America and rips President Trump on behalf of Democrats. That is what Tucker Carlson is now. Quote, Americans rarely hear the Iranian perspective on the Iran war, but they should. There is, there is no other way to fully understand what the conflict is really about. Today's daily news briefing has the latest on Iran's Revolutionary Guards publishing an open letter to the American people. Wow. Wow. Great stuff. Well, the horseshoe is in full effect. Anna Kasparian is out there suggesting, I mean, again, anti-Semitism is brain poison. And once you get a drop, it just destroys you. It is a universal acid. Anna Kasparian spent her day saying that the hijacking was probably a fallout flagged by the Israeli government.
Speaker 8I just think it's a little early to carry out a hijacking terrorist attack that's meant to victimize Israel. So those are the things that just on the surface I've noticed so far. There could be more. Like I said, this story is developing. But I gotta say, man, the other thing that was seared in my mind as this story broke was weird. Just yesterday, Netanyahu was saying, that the Iranians are going to carry out some sort of attack against Israel ahead of the Israeli elections. And everyone was saying, uh-oh, here comes the false flag. Now, look, I'm not saying that this is a false flag. I don't know yet. I don't know yet. I think it's fishy.
Speaker 1And meanwhile, the other parts of the horseshoe, Hassan Piker, Hassan Piker, he's out there very, very upset that Zoran Mamdani, who, again, put together a fake strategy to fight anti-Semitism, he's upset that Mamdani's even doing that.
Speaker 9Jews, as well as every other New Yorker, should never feel unsafe going to their place of worship. It's also outright ridiculous to claim that there isn't, you know, more anti-Semitism taking place. But Zoran Mamdani's commentary on this featured the NYPD's anti-Semitism statistics. And we all know that they're not as crazy as the ADL. No one really is. But they still also, they still feature anti-Zionist incidents as anti-Semitic. So for him, as the anti-Zionist mayor, to turn around and legitimize that is, I think,
Speaker 10unacceptable. Again, the left is angry at Mamdani for being too opposed to anti-Semitism.
Speaker 1Amazing stuff. By the way, speaking of Zoran Mamdani, New York elected a mayor who, while he was putting out an anti-Semitism fight plan, his wife was literally in an anti-Semitic wellness retreat at the exact same time. According to the Washington Free Beacon, New York City's First Lady is currently wrapping up a week as an artist-in-residence at a luxury Islamic wellness retreat that has called for the destruction of Israel and openly celebrated Palestinian terrorism. How we let these people into our country is absolutely beyond me. It is astonishing. Again, it is a demonstration of a West that is fully suicidal, that we have imported people to the West who wish to just destroy the West, who in the face of Islamic terrorism either agree with it and promote it, or who just wish to surrender to it. Well, again, the Trump administration is not doing that. It is unique. One of the signal successes of the Trump administration is that legal immigration and refugees from Muslim-majority countries has fallen 96% since 2024. That is a very good thing because if you ever wonder how people like Hassan Piker end up in our country, that would be one of the reasons that Hassan Piker is in our country. Look at that drop in legal immigrants and refugees from Muslim-majority countries falling 96% from 2024. That is a win. Listen up. So I need you to vote early so you can bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout message. Today's episode is brought to you by Quo. It's spelled Q-U-O. Meanwhile, the administration is seeking to deport the leader of Wisconsin's largest mosque on national security grounds, which makes perfect sense. According to the L.A. Times, Salah Sarsour was detained in Milwaukee in March by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. A federal judge ordered Sarsour's release in June, saying he raised a substantial claim that the Trump administration was targeting him for speaking out against Israel and advocating for Palestinian rights. But government attorneys say that Sarsour's decades-old convictions in Israel make him a threat to national security, and they accuse him of lying on his green card applications. He threw a Molotov cocktail and stones at Israeli personnel in 1988. In 1988, he threw a Molotov cocktail and stones at Israeli personnel in 1988. In 1995, he was convicted of attempting to possess weapons, and then he lied on all of his applications to come to the United States. He's the president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee. And of course, he is a radical. He appears in the Holy Land Foundation investigation as a fundraiser for Hamas in the United States, allegedly. So it's good. The United States is now saying we don't need
Speaker 10more of these people in our country. That is a good thing. And again, part of the battle here civilizationally does
Speaker 1involve our absolutely pathetic media. It is worth noting that the media have just been trash on this whole issue, including, by the way, we ought to flash back to a correspondent for The Nation magazine, left-wing magazine, 2024 quote, you can't protest peacefully. You can't boycott. You can't hunger strike. You can't hijack planes. You can't block traffic. You can't throw Molotovs. You can't self-immolate. You can't march. You can't riot. You can't dissent. You just can't be. Yeah, we know that that's what you would do with your freedom. It's true. You probably should not hijack the planes. And they can always count on their friends in the media to do their dirty work for them. This is why Christiane Amanpour still has a job. She said yesterday she doesn't think she's political. The CNN International reporter, she is just a horrible reporter, wildly biased against the West.
Speaker 11And if there's somebody raped or attacked or excluded or hated because of their gender, their race, their sexuality, their whatever it might be, their ethnicity, then I know that that's wrong. Again, I don't think I'm political, but I have a deep respect for human rights. What do you mean you're not political? Because if it's being political, holding up democracy, then I'm political. If it's political, advocating for the truth and honesty, then I'm political. If it's political, believing in human rights, I'm political. Okay, I think you're political. Okay. In that regard, yeah. But I'm not blue-red political. I understand that.
Speaker 1She's not political, you see. I mean, here she was in 2025 saying that Israeli hostages are treated better than the average Gazan, which I'm a no.
Speaker 11And I think for sure, people who start to talk to the hostages who've only just been released will find that it will take a long, long time for them to recover physically, but also mentally. It's been a terrible, terrible two years for them because not only are they there, you know, they're probably being treated better than the average Gazan because they are the pawns and the chips that Hamas had. Now Hamas has given up all its leverage, by the way, by giving them all
Speaker 1up. Okay, again, this, our media is just a trash bag. It is just a trash bag and complicit in the destruction of the West, full stop. Okay, well, speaking of the U.S. fighting its own destruction, yesterday, Pete Hegseth announced a, a number of moves at the Department of Defense. He says that obviously they are, they're focused on the war fighting machine. This is what the Secretary of Defense has always
Speaker 12suggested. But it's worth saying again, so that the fake news understands it. We are no longer the woke department or the weak department. Simple translation, translation of that. No fanny, no fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals. Warriors. Just tough, ready, committed troops. The War Department, as you know, is colorblind, gender neutral, and merit based.
Speaker 1Okay, again, this is right. The Pentagon has now also moved to tap Elon Musk and Palmer Luckey to plan out the future of war, according to Pirate Wires. They've announced Project Meridian, led by Elon Musk, Palmer Luckey, and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. They're going to investigate where future military engagements will happen. Mars, the Mariana Trench, or space, the new technologies the Department of War must buy in order to win. They have 120 days to release their report. So Elon and Palmer Luckey, Palmer Luckey, of course, is the head of Anduril, which is a very high tech defense firm. They have carte blanche alongside the other private sector experts to think about what Pirate Wires authors call weird bleep for war. So they're going to explore unknown unknowns going beyond the Pentagon's known shortcomings like software, AI, and manufacturing to investigate future vulnerabilities. This is a good thing. It is a useful thing. The fact that the Trump administration has attempted to build up the military is trying to think creatively. All of that is a good thing. Obviously, the left very exercised because how dare you have high IQ people trying to make our military better. Instead, we have to orient towards self-destruct. Elbridge Colby has also released an update on the implementation of the 2026 National Defense Strategy. It prioritizes four items to first defend the American homeland, second, deter China and the Indo-Pacific through strength, not confrontation. Three, it prioritizes four items to first defend the American homeland, second, increase burden sharing with U.S. allies and partners, and four, supercharge the U.S. industrial defense base. He points out that defending the homeland, the United States has taken seriously threats from the border. When it comes to deterring China, that's building up defense capabilities, especially air and naval mines and undersea forces. Burden sharing with allies means that we have put more of a burden on NATO 3.0. That's working, by the way. Here's NATO Secretary General Mark Rudy saying that NATO is going to step up and do more for Ukraine, not less.
Speaker 13It's reckless campaign of hostile actions against NATO allies. It is trying to weaken our resolve and stop our support for Ukraine. But Russia is failing. It is failing on the battlefield in Ukraine and it is failing to undermine our unity and support for Ukraine. Our message to Moscow is clear. We will do even more for Ukraine and not less.
Speaker 1This is part of the United States actually shifting some of the burden of world policing onto our allies, which is a good thing. The other thing that the Trump administration is doing that is very important is running forward on AI. That is really, really, really important. So a couple of days ago, the president held a super intelligence luncheon featuring everybody from Elon Musk to Jensen Huang over at NVIDIA to Dario Amodi to Mark Zuckerberg. They all showed up. Again, it's kind of amusing if you know the people in the room. They were all involved to look at who had to sit next to whom because it got kind of awkward. They have Chamath sitting across from Dario Amodi. Those two did not get along particularly well. So that's kind of funny. You had Musk and Jensen flanking the president. There are some pretty memeable moments from this particular event. Alex Karp from Palantir, who's great, actually took the microphone from a CNBC reporter outside the White House and told them to ask better questions.
Speaker 14Mr. Nadella, can you give us a sense of what you're talking about? What are you going to tell the president today? Mr. Nadella, you want me to get a question for you? Sure. Go ahead. I'll do this. Okay. This is how you do it. Okay. Like, Cham. Okay. Cham, tell me about how AI works on the battlefield. That's a question he'll answer.
Speaker 5Or see, I think we found Karp's second career.
Speaker 1Again, yes. I mean, he's again, some of these people are very, very amusing. Dario Amodi was there. It got very awkward because Dario is an awkward person. He's also the one who's been suggesting that everybody needs to be regulated up the wazoo or we're all going to die. He showed up at the White House, nonetheless, apparently wearing the suit that Tom Hanks wore in Big.
Speaker 15We all need to work together to make sure that we can win and we can win safely. If we do this right, we work with the president and everyone here, we can win safely. Do you
Speaker 10think
Speaker 15that self-policing is enough? Hold it. Hold it. CNN fake news.
Speaker 1The worst. Look, Dario has been fantastic. He's Zuckerberg breaking up in the background there. Well, the United States put out a statement on super intelligence. Unfortunately, they spelled United States wrong in the announcement on super intelligence was a little bit awkward, but the basic announcement was that there is going to be collaboration between all of these various AI companies to ensure that super intelligence serves the American public and does not victimize the American public. NVIDIA has also debuted they've now reported an open agent safety platform. What they say is this to understand where agentic AI stands today. Consider the last seismic shift in technology, the rise of the internet in the nineties. It brought endless opportunity, but also a lot of risk. A website could run code on your machine, steal your sensitive information or infect your computer with a virus. People loved it anyway. To introduce a layer of trust, the community built things like encrypted connections and a lock icon to know when a connection was safe. The step function change in safety came from a radical security idea at the time. Isolate each page in its own sandbox, a tab, and a browser. So rogue page couldn't infect the rest of your computer. Amazon, Google, Netflix, on this trust layer. We need to build this trust layer for agents. Again, these people are thinking about what has to be done, and that is a very good thing because for national security purposes, we cannot drop behind the Chinese. Naturally, you have the left. Again, if the left ever gains control of all three branches of government, if they get the House, the Senate, and the presidency, the American economy will just be cratered because the left is fully invested in the idea that AI is going to kill us all, just as they were invested in the idea that capitalism was going to kill us all with tsunami-like weather. Here is Jimmy Kimmel doing this routine yesterday.
Speaker 16He's obsessed with changing the names of things. Ever since he had Don Jr., he has been in love with changing the names of things. The idea that our guardrails against AI are being erected by an addled 80-year-old man, it's like asking your grandpa to set up a Wi-Fi router in your house.
Speaker 1He just wouldn't do it. Here's the thing. Donald Trump doesn't want to set up the Wi-Fi router. He doesn't want to set up the Wi-Fi router. He doesn't know who wants to, Ron Wyden and Elizabeth Warren. So here are your choices. You can either have some of the smartest people on the planet building the coolest things, or you can have some of the dumbest people on the planet restricting people from building the things that actually build our economy. Those are your choices. There is no third choice. Listen up. And everybody listening knows every single ultra-far left democratic socialist will show up to vote this fall. It's spelled Q-U-O. Speaker 17I don't know if he has Staten Island's heart. I don't think he's Staten Island. I don't have a problem with the guy, but I definitely don't think he's Staten Island at all. Staten Island's the only red place in New York, and it's violently red. I try to explain it because, you know, most of my family is, you know, on the red side. It's not like that, like, Storm the Capitol vibe. It's more just like, he's funny. Like, I don't care. I just need something different. Like, it's not like a racist, misogynistic sort of thing. It's just like, they just, it's 1985 over there. You are not a real Staten Island politician unless you have a secret family and no one mobster.
Speaker 1So, again, I will say that Pete Davidson seems to be coming back to some semblance of reality, so good for him. Good for him. Meanwhile, Paris Fashion Week has begun. Paris Fashion Week is where people spend enormous amounts, to demonstrate outfits that no one would ever wear if they had half a brain. And so, I have been mandated by my staff to review some of the clips of Paris Fashion Week. Oh, no. Oh, no. This is a model wearing what appears to be a furry mask, like, with cheetah cat outfit. People dressed up like freaky demons from the Haunted Mansion. We've got a person who looks like she swallowed a chair.
Speaker 10We've got a lawn gnome from Halloween. We've got, like, such fashion. We've got a refugee
Speaker 1from Mad Max crossed with, I don't even, I don't even know how to describe these outfits. How do you describe these outfits? How do you, like, this woman, oh, my God. If you saw this coming at three in the morning, you would absolutely fire in self-defense. I mean, my goodness. This is Paris Fashion Week, just things happening over there. So, apparently, Paris Fashion Week was supposed to be rooted in a critique of inequality. So, models showed up with white billionaires on their shoulders. I'm not even kidding. So, this is a black model carrying what appears to be Jeff Bezos on her shoulder. And then we have a model carrying a fake baby. And then we have a, again, they're carrying billionaires on their shoulders because this is the weight of the world. Who do you think is paying for all of this? Presumably. I'm just, I'm constantly astonished by the Marxists who make a living off of complaining about how terrible the rich people are while rich people buy their clothes. Capitalism always wins. Well, it wasn't just a bunch of random models. It was also a bunch of famous actresses who showed up as well. Zoe Saldana showed up and apparently wore nearly nothing
Speaker 10because fashion involves wearing essentially lingerie. Rihanna showed up as well. And she looks like she was ingested
Speaker 1by one of the hunches and bunches from Dr. Seuss. So, she's also wearing lingerie, but also apparently she skinned Snuffleupagus and decided to wear his suit. So, that's good. Jennifer Lopez showed up and actually looked semi-normal, I guess. Like, good for her. She looks like she's evening appropriate. So, that's the first time. There's a first time for everything. And Rosalia showed up as well and forgot her undershirt. So, she got eaten by a floral bouquet. So, again, these are your fashion betters. You should take their advice and you should wear these things around the house. Or, alternatively, you probably shouldn't. I wonder why Hollywood thinks this way. I wonder why Hollywood is filled with so many crazy people. Actress Cameron Manheim spoke at the Human Rights Campaign the other day and she said that she always wanted a gay son. I don't know. I feel like. If that was your. If that was your. Like, what you wanted out of life was a son who likes dudes? That was, like, the thing that you prayed for?
Speaker 18But why? I always wanted a gay son. I did. I love that relationship between gay sons and their mothers. I want to be the picket sign holding mom who would beat the shit out of somebody for her kid. I mean, let's just admit it. Gay sons are the best, right? Right. I have photographs of my son in high heels, in full drag. He knows every word to every musical ever written. His fairy godfather, Aaron Walton, is here with us tonight. I mean, truly, I thought I had this thing locked up. But no. No. He's the only straight guy in his entire musical theater company.
Speaker 1Well, I mean, I'm sorry. That happened to you. Notice that her entire critique is about herself. Because having children is really not about the kids. It's about you as a person. Okay, well, speaking of this side of the aisle, this brings us to WNBA news. And no, I'm not talking about Candace Owens again. I'm just being, just WNBA news. Like, you know, the WNBA, where the ladies play the basketball. Well, there was a controversy that broke out when one Asia Wilson shoved Sophie Cunningham on the court and, like, really just kind of shoved her full body. Here's the footage. Just knocks her over. And then Asia Wilson, like, wanders into the crowd to yell at somebody. So, what did this fan do? The fan was not ejected from the game. What did the fan do? Now she's yelling at the referee. What did the fan do? Well, we have a better angle of what the fan, actually, did. And what the fan actually did was nothing. He literally stood up and pointed at her and said, that foul should be on you. They called a foul on Sophie Cunningham for standing there. And then the fan stood up and pointed at her and then she charged into the crowd. The difference is that in the NBA, when a player charges into the crowd, everybody scatters because, oh boy, someone's going to get destroyed. When Asia Wilson charges into the crowd, that's just somebody yelling at you. Well, Sophie Cunningham trolled Asia Wilson over it. Sophie Cunningham living her best troll-y life.
Speaker 19I'm not trying to be dramatic at all. Like, seriously. I was just here having my morning coffee and what a damn comeback year for the point. Who would have ever thought? Just who would have ever thought?
Speaker 1She's just enjoying her life. So Asia Wilson did try to explain what happened.
Speaker 20I don't know if you guys know me, but I don't really get into the bullshit. I don't. I try to play my game, keep it pushing. But if I'm just walking because I just got the foul, I'm chilling, and if I see a man come at me, taking steps towards me and pointing at me, I don't give a damn what you said. I don't give a damn how you said it, the tone. That is unacceptable. You don't step towards me. You never should step and point at me. I'm not for that shit at all. Excuse my French. And God bless me. But that there, it's unacceptable. And how he gets back in the game, because they say, he said he didn't do anything. Of course he didn't. And that's fine. But, and I apologize to my team because I got us a tech and I really, but it's just certain things that I'm just not going to allow anymore because it's just unacceptable. So don't, you don't know me at all to come and step towards me and point at me and say anything out your mouth to me.
Speaker 1So yeah. Has she ever been to a sporting event where fans say things about and to the players for the entirety of the sport? Has she ever been to a sporting event? All the guy did was step out into the aisle and pointed at her and said, that foul should have been on you. That's all it was. It's totally insane. That response is crazy. I'm sorry. That's a crazy response. Obviously, can you imagine if the sexes were reversed? It would not, it would not work this way. WNBA just like looking for the most charmless human beings to represent, to represent their league. I've heard the argument made that if women ran the world, it would be a more peaceful world. I present to you the WNBA. All righty. Coming up, we are going to jump into the left versus the right on immigration. The left continues to be extraordinarily insane when it comes to immigration. Speaker 8Every significant movement in history has started with protesting. You're a traitor. Uncle Tom. This is our generation's civil rights.
Speaker 11I have no idea what the protest is about.
Speaker 2Bingo. Given the current climate, should a figure as polarizing as Clay Saunders even be allowed on campus?
Speaker 21Oh, can you hear me okay? Saunders is a close personal friend of Chancellor Friedman. This is a decision I cannot fight. Islam will conquer the West. As-salamu alaykum. Are we paying attention?

Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. An attempted hijacking of a Fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was foiled when the Omani co-pilot stabbed the pilot and was subdued by Israeli passengers, including a plumber named Yaniv Hayun who had watched air crash investigation shows.
  2. The pilot, Captain Smit Machar, opened the cockpit door before collapsing, allowing passengers to rush in, remove the hijacker, and stabilize the plane from a tailspin.
  3. Israeli passengers, many with military experience, and a dentist who treated the wounded pilot, are credited with preventing a catastrophic crash that could have caused an international crisis.
  4. The hijacker was characterized as a religious extremist who refused to shake hands with women and prayed multiple times daily, and the incident is being treated as a lone-wolf attack.
  5. Saudi Arabia took custody of the hijacker and delayed return flights for Israeli passengers, refusing to allow Israeli aircraft to land, which the host condemns as vile.
  6. The host argues the West faces a choice between fighting Islamic terrorism, as Israel does, or surrendering to it, as he claims Spain did after the 2004 Madrid bombings and as the UK is now doing.
  7. The IRGC published an open letter urging Americans to vote for Democrats, and Tucker Carlson promoted the Iranian perspective, which the host cites as evidence of a demoralization campaign.
  8. The Trump administration has reduced legal immigration from Muslim-majority countries by 96% since 2024, is deporting a Milwaukee mosque leader over terror convictions, and is pursuing AI and defense modernization.
